You you actually you did. Jake was watching while we were shooting yesterday, and he was kicked to win, and then all of sudden you started whooping his butt. Like, he he only had, like, a 10% chance to beat. Yeah. But I didn't win, did I? I don't know. I I don't know if you beat him, but I I don't know if you won the day. But at 03:00 when I left them yesterday, you were beating Jake and John. I want that picture of this. Oh, god. I I just knew Beatles. That my team was going to kick ass all year long every Sunday. And now you're telling me I'm already in the in the hole. Probably. This is what we're gonna do. See? This is why it's a fool's game. This is why it's a fool's game. Well, then no one knows what the fool's game is except for the three people that aren't even a part of this whole episode together. Well, you know and I know. That's enough. Fair. That's fair, Michael. Alright. It is your dark companion once again, y'all. Hi. Glad you're with us today, tonight, tomorrow, later on this week, next weekend, week after that, whenever you may be consuming this little podcast. Today is what's today? I don't even know. It's fourteenth. The fourteenth of Sept September. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Because we got 09:11 going and all that. Yes. We did. We did have that going. Yes. It's now 09:14. And this is YDC episode number which? Two sixty. Number two sixty. Wow. 260 of these things. I don't know what to say about that. So instead, I will tell you to go to www.golfclubdallas.com. Now you're probably wondering, okay. Cool. You start the show by throwing out a website. What does it mean to me? Why do I need to go there? Well, I'm about to tell you. Because the twenty seventh annual golf tournament is being announced here today, proceeds go to the HOG Foundation Inc. Did I get that right? Yes, sir. Okay. And we got a couple of guys in here that are big parts of this thing today. One of these is, certainly a big player in my world, or he is likely to be at any given moment because he is my one phone call. That's true. There are two things you need to know in this world at all times. One of those is who's your one phone call. And he is sitting here to my left. He is an intimidating figure because he has been involved in every single legal proceeding here in our Fairburg for many years. It's gotten any kind of outside attention and a few that have gotten some pretty big pop culture attention. Now if you follow that scene, he has a name you will know. He is a name that I knew long before I ever met him because of stuff that I'd heard his name in. He is the great Knox Fitzpatrick. Thank you, Mike. And he is sitting here to my left. Look at him. He is dressed in a suit. He has been playing the craft all day long, and now he has the wherewithal to come in here and talk to us about what's gonna be going on at the golf club of Dallas and what you boys have up your sleeve. Now you will know that I said boys because he's got a cohort with him. Now I don't know quite as much about him as I do about Knox because he is not my one phone call or anything like that, but he is Mark Leach. And we're glad to have you with us, sir. Thank you very much. Thank you. Alright. Now let's talk a little bit about let's let's just take a top down view of what we're going to be doing out here on October 15 in the golf scene. That's the twenty seventh annual golf tournament. All proceeds go to the HOG Foundation Inc, and I'll let you take it from there. You tell us what the golf tournament's all about and where the proceeds go. Well, I'll I'll let me just preface this by saying, telling you, Mike, and ladies, thank you for your generosity and letting us talk about this today. Very much appreciated. We've got you know, we had kind of a big football weekend this last weekend and talking about this tournament means a lot to us. But I can tell you what's happening is the twenty seventh annual tournament, and it's I wanna turn this over to Mark Leach because this Brit with an enormous heart started this thing twenty seven years ago and asked me to be a part of it. And on the fifteenth, we have our tournament. But, Mark, if you could walk Mike and his listeners through what it's all about and who we anticipate this will benefit as it has for many, many years, that'd be great. Okay, Knox. Thank you. Well, we're here to try and get you come out and play in the Heart of Gold Foundation October 15 at the Golf Club of Dallas, 2200 Redbird Lane. I formed the Heart of Gold in 1999. Just to give you a little background, Knox was with me and a couple other buddies and we're sitting watching a cowboy game at one of the places on Greenville Avenue and a little boy came up to me and he tapped me on the shoulder and I turned around I said what are you doing here? He says we're selling raffle tickets. I said, how old are you? He goes, 10. I said, who are you with? He said, my dad, he's over there by the door. I looked over by the door and dad waved and I said, what's the raffle tickets for? And he said, well it's for my best friend, he's sick, he's ill, he's in hospital, he needs an operation, his parents don't have money, don't have insurance and the church is trying to raise money so we're selling raffle tickets. And so I said, okay. So how many you got? He said, I got 35. I said, alright, give me some money. I looked up and down the bottom. I said, give me some money. We bought every single one and then he left and we went back to the capital again. About five minutes later, I looked at my buddy Bill to the right of me, I said what church was he with? I don't know, I didn't ask him. I said what are we with? I don't know. What was wrong with his friend? I don't know. He said, I just heard sick and needy kids throw us in $10 and I I turned to be honest, we've just been elaborately scammed or it's that easy to raise money. I said, you know, we could do this, we could raise money and my original thought, Mike, I had a friend who owned a warehouse. I thought we'd do a $20 kegger, you know. I had a friend who had a bill with his band. He was gonna donate his band and that's how we're gonna raise money. At about that time, it was tax season and my accountant I'm telling him and he says no, no, no, you can't do that. If you want to become a real charity, you got to become a five zero one(three) so I became a five zero one(three) non profit tax deductible, whatever you donate is tax deductible and we become the Heart of Gold Foundation and I asked Knox here who kindly agreed to be on the board with me and we have nine people on the board and that's where the heart of gold originated and we've come over since 1999 and we've done so much stuff and we all sat around, said well if we raised some money, what are we gonna do with it? Sick and needy kids. They said, Where are gonna find sick and needy kids? I said, Easy, children's hospital, they got tons of them. He goes, Well how are we gonna do that? I said, I'll go there. So I went there and they put me in a big room with a big table and this is going back to the beginning. I sat at the big table with a fellow called David, told him exactly what we were gonna do and he said, Well, my best thing to tell you is go raise some money and come back and see me. Well, about a year later, we'd raised about $20,000. I said, $20,000 or something. I need to do something with it. Oh, you came back? I said, yes, I came back, I told you I was coming back. They never come back. I said, oh, well we came back so I can't give you one child but give me a wig and I'll have my secretary send you some options and they gave us the options of premium equipment for premature children, ECMO which pumps the heart outside the body and then they had Camp Moss and then that was for cardiac patients and it's a camp fourteen weeks in the summer, they have 14 camp, burn camp, leukemia, cancer, we did the cardiac one, hard to go, It was perfect, now we had a face, we had a 125 faces who go to camp. So it was perfect for us and the whole board voted yes, this is what we're doing and so I went back to them and I said look, I'll give you this money but I want it to go to that camp. I want it earmarked for that camp. I don't want it put in the general fund, I want it go to that camp. Of course, they probably put it in general fund anyway. But, that's how the heart of gold started. And so what what what started with a with a child who had issues, needed issues, this big hearted man, Leach, decide really to try to do something about it. So these kids it's a here's a deal, Mike. It's a small charity, but there's a lot of bang for the buck. And ever since that time, most of the money that we raise with this tournament and some other events we've had in the past goes to, like, you know, your crawfish boil, chili cook off, that sort of thing. Yeah. Goes to send about a 120 what children's calls their their cardiac kids. These are children who were born as blue babies, who may have been born with their hearts actually outside their their chest, who have serious half hearts, serious serious heart issues. Well, how do these kids how are they able to run and gun like like normal kids? Well, they they get to they get to go to Camp Moss, which is affiliated with Camp John Mark, which is John Mark, a lot of young cancer patients go there. But Camp Moss this money helps send cardiac team to Camp Moss with these children, a 120 of them, a summer where they can run and gun like regular kids. They can do the zip line. They can swim. They can do all of these camp activities that so many people who listen to your podcast know all about because they they their their children went to camp. They were able to do it, and now these kids can do it. And that's from from Mark Leach's big heart, that's where this sprang. And so this tournament that we're having on the fifteenth, as as we've said, it's the twenty seventh time we've done this, It's at the golf club at Dallas, and we've got a you know, registration opens at 10:30AM, and there's a there's a box lunch. And then at at about 12:00, opening ceremonies, charming devil that he is, Mark Leesch will say a few words and or maybe not so few depending on how he's doing. Uh-huh. But then the then we'll have a million dollar shootout. Have an opportunity for some golfers in a drawing to be able to go out there and hit a 175 yard shot to try to make a hole in one that win a million bucks. 1,000,000. Well, the, you know and every now and then, in the sports page, you may read or on ESPN somewhere in the country at a charity event, someone may actually make it. So it's it's a lot It's happened. It's happened. Yeah. It it's a lot of fun. And so then we'll have a shotgun start with our teams. And after that, I have a little awards ceremony. And I'm telling you, this is not hyperbole. The world's best Tex Mex buffet. They do a great job out there at the Golf Club of Dallas, which as you know, Mike, living here your whole life has a tremendous tremendous history for all these folks out there who who may be interested in that sort of thing. It's an opportunity to walk where a lot of the greats walked years and years ago. Can I just address my boys from the hood for one second here? Yeah. Yes, sir. Alright. This golf club of Dallas, they're talking about. I know, and you, my guys, from back in the day, know it as the Oak Cliff Country Club. That's what it was back then. Out there on Redbird Lane Yes. That area back in the day, I don't know what what it's like these days. Back in the day, that was nice, man. That's where the big rollers were. And the Oak Cliff Country Club sat right in the middle of it. It was great then. I'm sure it's still great now. It's really it's it's so cool. If you know a little bit about golf history, and for those listeners who wanna come, like I said, walk where some of the greats did, I mean, it was the last golf course designed by Perry Maxwell, one of the great golf architects in this country's history. He designed Southern Hills. He designed Prairie Dunes. He helped design Colonial over in Fort Worth. Mhmm. He helped design one of the things he did that's kinda little known, at Augusta National, he redid the now iconic Hole Number 10. And it's virtually the the same it was when Perry Maxwell did it. And it's, of course, become one of the most recognizable golf holes in the world. But he designed this golf course, and he died before it was completed, and his son, Pres Maxwell, completed it. And I remember, you know, the the Dallas Open was was played there. Mhmm. You might have even caddied out there at the Dallas Open. I don't think so. But the Dallas Open I try to stay as far away from golf as I possibly can. The Dallas Open was out there, which was, of course, the predecessor to the Byron Nelson. It became the Byron Nelson in 1968 Mhmm. When mister Nelson gave his name to the tournament, and they moved to Preston Trail. But the Dallas Open, you had some really it it was serious, serious golf. In fact, the last club pro to ever win a PGA event, Earl Stewart was the pro at Oak Cliff. That's right. He sure was. Also coached the SMU women's team at one time to a national championship. So and then when the senior tour was really getting going, they had, I think, a senior tour event there for three years. And I remember out going out there and there was my one of my sports idols, Arnold Palmer, was playing. So I followed the king around and You were part of Arnie's army? Was part of Arnie's army. And so and part and and one of the cool things was I was standing there and Caddy looked over to Palmer looked over to his caddy and said, get me another ball. Give me one with some pop in it. And I got a I got a big kick out of that. But so that's where you have an opportunity to play. And the I assure you, the folks out there at the at the club or so at the at the golf club at Dallas are very nice. They're so accommodating. And they do a lot of tournaments. So they they, you know, they know how to run a railroad. And so it'll be good, but that shotgun start, if you it costs you a thousand dollars a team. Now there's you know, in these inflationary times, we could probably go greater than that, but we choose not to. We have a lot of folks who play in our tournament for for whom $250 is a lot of money. It is a lot of money these days for folks. Mhmm. But but but we live in North Texas. And I I was looking up a stat the other day. North Texas Giving Day, which this year is the September 17, it's got the they they set a record in the country last year for giving on that day. Here in North Texas, we are in this country, and in this part of the world, we're the most generous people on earth. And this money that you give, every dollar you give I'm on the board, Mark's on the board, and Jamie Willis is on the board, Joy Leach is on the board, and a great man named Sid Davis is on the board. And none of us get a thing out of this except the satisfaction of being able to help these children. And we just like like y'all to join us. And and it'll be a gang you know, it's a gang of fun. We'll even have a lot of, cold beer out there. If you can If you're interested such things. You know? So it's, it's fun. There was a little bit of a trick back in the day when Oak Cliff was dry. It still may be for all I know, but back in the day, it certainly was. And beer was kind of a trick out there for something like this. Well, it's not a trick anymore. It's I I I would like to think that they've that things have moved along out there to that point. I think it's I think it's safe to say there'll be a few stations around the golf course during the tournament where they can just reach in an ice chest and pull pull a cool one out. I think it I think that's a pretty good bet. So how many people are you guys looking at for playing in the thing? It's like a 144. We'd like a 144. But it's, you know, historical last couple years. I'll I'll just tell you, be Complain. What do we call it? Be what do they call it these days? Being utterly transparent. It's kinda fallen the last couple years. You know, I'm nearly 75 years old. Leach is an old man. Well, I'm not saying You're shade out of your jeans. And And we but we You're still a young man. But we're but we decided as a board, we're old dogs, but we can learn new tricks. And so my great and good friend, Becca Moore, I talked to her and we wanna do a little social media and try to pump it up. And the hope is if it's if it's if things happen and it's successful, we do wanna do more events, not just golf tournaments, but actually the first event we did, Leach used to own a house. I still did. Over over by you still own that house by stands? No. Not that one. And the first thing we ever did was have a big craw fish boil over there across the the way from Stan's Blue Note, where I must say when I in this in this neighborhood, I do have a Pavlovian response to wanna go to Stan's and have a beer, but Which is where this charity was born. No, it's admitted. You are an uncommodity. That's right. But the that was a crawfish boil has always been successful as we had we had chili cook offs. We had a bull run one year, which was quite exciting. Yeah. We had helmets that with horns on them and the and the young ladies were the bulls and they would be in the it was it was pub crawl basically, Mike. And each pub you went into, you got the first drink for free and you had forty minutes in each one and the young ladies with the horns would have a whistle and a a bat and they give forty minutes, get to the next bar, go. And you know, white t shirts, red sashes, and bandanas. Oh, it was a great time. It was a great time. So they would send you on your way to the next pub. Yes. You had a list of which pubs to go to. Which ones you go next? And then every forty minutes, you look on the street, there's people in white shirts everywhere then they disappear. Back in the bar. So it's you know, so there's a variety of things, but these tournaments are are really our big deal. And if if you guys wanna sign up Yes. Let's tell everybody how to do that. The tournament, you can get on excuse me, let me put on my heartofgoldtx.org. Spectacles. If you get on heartofgoldtx that's heartofgoldtx..org, and you can sign up. You can actually, you know, on our little flyer here, you can call Mark Leach directly. No. Don't call me. And you can he he would be happy to take your call. It was As matter of fact, now that you talk about this Oh. Yeah. I think that's the way to go. Thank you, Mike. I think the the way to go is to call Mark Oh. Directly. Call me directly. That you wanna play. How do I do this? It is really and I will give you his number right now. Oh, no. It's (214) 394-6115. It's right there on our handout, so it's not like it's proprietary information. And but that's a great way to do it because We have a QR code. If you do it, we have a QR code that you can access. And but it's really a it's really a any way you wanna do it. And so it's it's a lot of it'll be a lot of fun. Lot of fun, Mike. Lot of fun. Lot of fun. We want you all to come out and play and have a good time. And, yes, I've been in Texas a long time. Although I'm English, I say yo. And I I will say this, at the at the risk of being serious. Mark, give that to Beckham. I think they're gonna do something with the QR code Yes. Yeah. Which makes me very, very nervous. Makes me I don't even I don't even know what one was till recently. Well, it's gonna do us in. I don't know how. I don't know when, but it is going to lead to something very well for all of us. I'm thinking so. Especially me. But I will say at the risk of at the risk of being serious, we will it's to be hoped, have some of our kids who we help out there, and they will usually say a few words about about how much this camp means to them. Yes. And there are some campers every year who don't come back because they've gone to the Lord. They don't make it. Their hearts gave out. But the fact that they can have this experience is is really rewarding. And I I can tell you that, you know, I've been in the criminal business for forty eight years, and I've seen it all different ways, as a prosecutor, as a administrator, as a defense lawyer. Who gets so damaged by by what happens when adults make terrible decisions? It's the kids. Who and then there's other kids who get damaged from just the just the terrible things that can happen to them genetically and so forth. And so that's really what led me to wanna when Leach that's why I said yes when Leach And go said, let's do it when when Mark when Mark asked me to do this. Because these kids, you know, they can't they can't really help themselves at this point. And so we gotta step up and do things for them, and that's really what it to me, what it's all about. Can I jump in and out there? I wish you would. Mike, the the camp that we're talking about Yeah. It's it's not just a camp. It's it's one of like five camps in The US and it has a med shed, a huge giant med shed, medicines and everything and it has an on-site intensive care unit, crash carts, everything. And so if they go down, they're immediately taken care of. And our camp that we sponsor, like last year we had five cardiologists and seven cardiothoracic nurses out there as part of the staff. And so they'll go down immediately. But we've had a few instances where they do go down and they've been fine and I don't think they've ever had to care fly anybody out of that camp since we've been sponsoring it, nothing to do with us. But the camp is run so that's why they can go to that camp but they can't go to an ordinary camp Yeah. Because they've had a transplant like eight months ago. Yeah. And so they can go to our camp because they're taken care of. Yeah. If something happens, that they'll be taken care of. That's what Knox is alluding to. Yes. They're good. Alright. Now let's start with some websites and stuff here. Okay? Because everybody loves websites. This is going on at the Golf Club of Dallas. The address, 2200 West Redbird Lane. That is in Dallas. The ZIP is 75232. The website there is www.golfclubdallas.com. And the Heart of Gold Foundation golf the Heart of Gold Foundation tournament. No. No. No. Take two. In 321. The Heart of Gold Foundation website. Heart of Gold Foundation. Damn. In the nature of Mark. Oh, yeah. Tears. Okay, Mark. Hey, Mike. Start this. In the nature. Up your tiller. And it ain't Okay. Alright. On the website. Let me just say this. HargoldFoundationUS@Gmail.com is the website for that. Yes. Alright. This is Mark Leach and the great Knox Henderson. Knock knock knock why do I wanna call him Knox Henderson? It's Patrick. Because he used to live near Henderson. I cannot tell you how many times I've been I can't tell you how many times I've been at a cocktail party and someone will say, I want you to meet my friend Knox Henderson. Happens all the time. All the time. So don't you worry about it, Mike. His name is Knox Fitzpatrick. Can I I appreciate that, so don't worry about that? I appreciate you extending me that bit of grace. Alright. We'll have a little bit more with these boys here in just a second, but right now, we need to do the dreaded and feared mid show read. Let's see. Don't sit at home every Saturday and Sunday watching ball alone or worse, inviting friends over to grill. No. No. Don't do that. Call your friends. Call your family. Get them to Dudley's where they are going to make way better food, plus they have a bar. Now do you like bars? I'll bet you do. Dudley's has and is a bar. They're also your football headquarters. Either location, 2927 North Henderson in Dallas, that is just to the southeast of the Knox Henderson exit. Thank you. No exit. On Central Expressway, or they're out in Rockwall, 2975 Highway 66 in Rockwall. The Heart of Gold Foundation's twenty seventh annual golf tournament will be held Thursday, 10/15/2026 at the Golf Club of Dallas, check-in and lunch at 10:30AM. Then the 1 m million dollar shootout immediately followed by a shotgun start with an awards banquet and a nice Tex Mex buffet will end the day. To get involved, go to heartofgoldtx.org or contact Mark. Is this okay if I do this? Sure. Yeah. Go ahead. Alright. Just wanna make sure you're alright with it too. I want to my lawyer okayed it, so it should be good. Okay. Yeah. He did okay it. He's mine too, so we're we're we're both good here. (214) 394-6115 or on email, heartofgoldfoundationUS@Gmail.com. Is that it? It. That's good. That's for all that's all for the mid show read. No. Except for the read. Oh, did we already do Dudley's? Yes. Oh, he did first. Yeah. I did Dudley's. That's my bad. I was paying attention, but I guess I wasn't paying close enough attention. We worked a bit to this. Okay. We're good. Dudley. And we are good. We are good. So twenty seven years you've been after this. Twenty seven. And I I told Knox yesterday at the at the lunch. I told him, could you even imagine when we started this twenty it's twenty seven years now and I I originally thought I was gonna go for ten and we got to ten and I said, no, I'll give it to twenty and then twenty five and now it's 27. Should So do thirty? Should I do thirty, Mike? Yeah. Do thirty. I'm not sure. I'll make 30 at the rate. I'm coming. Well, know, if you got the juice for thirty, do thirty. Yeah. Alright. Just do as long as you got the juice. Whilst whilst I'm on the air with you, Michael, are you going to come out to our golf tournament? Oh, well, I haven't been invited as of yet. You're invited. Well, alright then. I will be there. I won't make you promise that, but I appreciate you saying that. Thank you very much. Well Sure. No. I will be there just to see the general surroundings of the of the club. You wanna come see the old stomping ground? Yes. I do. I do. Got you. I do. It's great. We want everybody to come out and play. It's a great time. And this is coming up. When did we say the when of this? October 15. October 15, which is a Thursday on your calendar. It's a Thursday. Just make sure. And I'll tell you why it's a Thursday. You know what you mean why it's a Thursday? Because Monday is a is a is a cheapest day to play golf, but we had a lot of DA's office, a lot of judges, a lot of lawyers when we first started and they couldn't get off on a Monday. So the next day is Thursday. So for twenty seven years, it's been a Thursday, and it seems to work. Those guys can get off on Thursday? They can get off any day they want as far as I'm concerned. Just about any I've never known a judge yet who couldn't do exactly what Well, what's it? What he wanted to do. If you've been rotten in jail all weekend, don't you wanna get out on a Monday? You don't wanna judge a oh, the judge will beat tomorrow. The judge is playing golf today. Oh, okay. Alright. And, of course, the proceeds for all this, we probably should mention this. They raise the funds they raise primarily go to support Camp Moss. That is a week long summer camp every year. We talked about this earlier, but let's hit it again. A week long summer camp every year at Camp John Mark in North Texas for children who have had heart surgeries. And you were describing some of the the the surgeries that these kids had to undergo earlier. Some of them were heart transplants. Yeah. And and and the the the lady that ran it Melissa's her name. The lady that ran it, once we got two or three in, they have the kids come to the camp on a coach and then they go back to children's afterwards and the and the parents would pick the luggage up. Well, the parents just didn't wanna do it and so she asked if we had someone. So I ran we rented a box truck and we had my brother initially and he'd be there at 7AM, pick him up, take him back to Cook's or to Children's Hospital. And when they got the Children's, unload the luggage. And when the kids got there, they just need to get in the car with their parents and leave. So we did that. And then she called me again, you remember this, and she asked me, I need special, you know, I said, do you need, Melissa? I need three six passenger golf carts. And so, you know, I said, okay, well I'll go to the board and see if we can. So we provide them every year because they've got transplant kids. This camp is 156 acres, Mike. And it's got swimming pools, it's got horseback, it's got it's got water wards, it's got fishing, canoe, it's got everything a kid, zip lines, it's got everything a kid to be a kid, but they can't make a 156 acres with a new heart. So they need those golf carts. Yeah. So we provide the golf carts And the reason we rent them and not buy them is because they'll sit there for a year until the next camp and there's there's 13 other camps rolled through there and so those carts weren't gonna make it. So we just rent them every year and Melissa leans on us for certain stuff and so we become really familiar and parents aren't allowed at the camp, only sponsors and we're one of the sponsors, we're the only sponsor that goes. So the kids hug us because we see them once a year and they can go from five to 16. At 16 they do a graduation ceremony in a little church area, this is outside and it's very moving Mike, very moving. I mean, they're 16. They they're balling. Yeah. They they they don't wanna leave. Yeah. But they got all their friends there hugging them, and you gotta wait two years to come back as a counselor. And so this camp means a lot to these kids. And so the money we raise helps them. And we also do Baylor and and Scottish Rite. Yeah. Yeah. We do some Scottish Rite Yeah. In in Baylor. Baylor. Wanted to say one thing too about Children's Medical Center and the staff. They are they're they're just about the most selfless people I've ever met. They they are called. They are angels of mercy. They are called to help these children. And their dedication to it is is it's palpable. It's really it's quite moving in in and of itself. Mhmm. And so it's a pleasure to work to work with them. And, you know, it it can get a little emotional. I've kinda gotten choked up some with these with these kids, and and and this loving staff from Children's Medical Center. It's quite something, really. And and the great thing is these, you know, we have no staff. We are the staff for us. Right. And so all the money goes as we I've represented some oil and gas promoters. You wanna make sure that the money, as they say, goes in the ground. All the money goes in the ground here. So That's the idea. Yep. Yes. We're all volunteers. Yes. It's it's a it's a great thing. I I wanna interrupt for a second also. So you guys have done a great job describing what you do for these children, what this camp does for the children, but Mark has shared something with me that, like, really kind of touched me on a different level that I also just wanna highlight. And that was that he's he's seen, like, a young lady, you know, young teenage lady be able to put on a two piece bathing suit to go swimming, maybe for the first, maybe for the only time because all these kids have the same scars and she didn't feel like she'd be judged. And I think that that's, you know, another level of empowering and helping these kids be fully accepted. And I just, I wanted to be sure that that was also highlighted. I think that there's a tremendous amount given to these children, a safe, honest place where they can be the kids that they're supposed to be. In the no judgment zone. Right. Exactly. They're well the same. Yeah. Well said. That's great. That's great. This is some great work you boys are doing. Well, we hope to keep it up. We hope you'll come out and help us. It's rewarding. And we'll go for 30, assuming. You. Should mean we're still here. Yeah. That's that's a big assumption for all of us. Oh. You know? Yeah. It is. For for me, it's like thirty thirty more minutes. You know? I gotta worry about that. Well, thanks for coming on to our little podcast here. I hope you've enjoyed it, and it's been very, very interesting and to to hear about what you guys are doing here and hear about how the camp works and everything like that. It's great work you're doing. We appreciate it. Thank you. We appreciate it. We appreciate it very much. It's a privilege to be here with you. The privilege is all mine. You are my leader and my one phone call. Mike, do you think he's gonna have to get you out soon? How many times have you had to use your phone call? Once. No sweat. Nah. I'm gonna try to make sure that this never happens. Believe me. I I I'm I bet he could get you a deal on murder. Woah. Well Who's he gonna If I'm gonna need a deal for him on murder, it's not gonna be because of something I did. Maybe because of something I funded, not something I did. Well, yes. But you you owe you only what what do you say? You only What? You can you you can think it up and you can provide the money, but you don't ever ever get it. Yes. I I fund. I conceptualize. I don't execute. Uh-huh. Yeah. Well, if my phone blows up, you might have to get me off on murder. Yeah. Knocks might be gone. Believe me. I'm the last one you'd want. Alright. Thank you for watching this today. It is YDC. We appreciate you supporting us. We would like for you to get us out there on your social media. That does help, I'm told. So I know you're doing it.
