  God, the creator of the universe, the maker and owner of all things,

  chooses to live inside of you.

  He is not found living inside the church. He is not found living in the mountains,
• 1:15
  the oceans, or the beautiful sunsets.

  He is not found in monuments, paintings, or buildings.
• 1:20
  He is not found in any of the other marvelous and beautiful creations He has made.
• 1:25
  He is alive and well and abides within your heart.
• 1:29

  Ministries takes us through Acts 17.24, which says,

  God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that He is Lord of heaven
• 1:45
  and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands.

  Hello and welcome to this broadcast of Woman at the Well Ministries.

  And this concept of God living in each and every believer is nearly too wonderful to comprehend.

  When we realize that the living God dwells within you, the Bible says that he
• 2:05
  sent us the Comforter and that the Comforter dwells in each and every one of
• 2:09
  us and that this Comforter teaches us and guides us and it leads us.
• 2:13
  And the Comforter is the Holy Spirit.
• 2:16
  And that's the third part of the Trinity, God the Father, God the Son,
• 2:19
  and God the Holy Ghost. And they're all three in one.
• 2:22
  And this verse points out that God doesn't dwell in any of the other things,
• 2:28
  but we know that he dwells in each and every believer.
• 2:31
  And when we think about that, it's an almost incomprehensible thought because inside of us.
• 2:40
  Is the King of kings, the Lord of lords, the great I am.
• 2:47
  And he knocks on our heart's door and he wants to communicate.
• 2:50
  He's not a silent resident, but he ever lives to make intercession for us.
• 2:56
  And he's constantly in touch with us, knowing what we need and comforting us and loving us.

  In this passage of scripture in Acts chapter 17,
• 3:07
  where Erica read in your hearing verse 24, What had happened prior to this verse
• 3:12
  is Paul has come upon a bunch of guys or people from Athens and that they are
• 3:18
  worshiping with great dedication.
• 3:22
  And on this altar, it says, to the unknown God.
• 3:28
  And Paul explains that they're ignorantly worshiping this idol.
• 3:33
  And when we think about
• 3:37
  that concept the unknown god
• 3:40
  and people would worship something that they're
• 3:44
  even referring to as the unknown god that is completely bizarre
• 3:47
  because we have the opportunity to
• 3:51
  know god personally with a personal
• 3:54
  relationship with jesus christ god's
• 3:57
  only begotten son who wants us
• 4:01
  all to come to repentance and he doesn't want anyone to perish
• 4:04
  and he wants to be a friend that sticketh closer than a brother and he wants
• 4:10
  to be loved by you and in order to woo you to him and to allow you to love him
• 4:21
  beyond decree he loves you beyond measure,
• 4:25
  and he loves you unconditionally.
• 4:27
  I was talking to someone recently and I made the statement that Jesus loves
• 4:32
  them unconditionally and they looked at me and said, oh no, no he doesn't.
• 4:36
  He only loves you if you believe in him.
• 4:38
  And I said, oh no, no you're not right.
• 4:41
  He loves you even when you don't believe in him. He still blesses you.
• 4:46
  It rains on the just and the unjust and he still sends
• 4:49
  people in your presence to try to say something or do something that would turn
• 4:55
  your heart for just a moment to see the realization of who Christ is so that
• 5:00
  you too could have your life changed by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit who
• 5:05
  again chooses to live in each and every believer.
• 5:10
  He wouldn't be welcome in the heart of an unbeliever, and he's a gentleman.
• 5:14
  But when we believe in the only begotten Son of Jesus Christ,
• 5:19
  the Son of God, who is Jesus Christ, when we believe in him,
• 5:25
  then he comes to dwell inside of us in the form of the Holy Spirit.
• 5:28
  But these individuals that Paul is talking about, they are worshiping an unknown God and an idol.

  And he says that God made the world and all things therein, Seeing that he is
• 5:41
  Lord of heaven and earth, and he dwelleth not in temples made with hands.
• 5:46
  And he goes on to say, neither is worshipped with men's hands,
• 5:50
  as though he needed anything.
• 5:52
  Seeing he giveth to all life and breath and all things.
• 5:57
  The Bible says that for by grace are you saved through faith,
• 6:01
  and that not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, not of works,
• 6:05
  lest any man should boast.
• 6:06
  We have nothing in our salvation. It was the finished work on the cross of Calvary that saved us.
• 6:13
  And he lives in us, helping us to have that abundant life that he came that we might have.
• 6:20
  He wants for us to live the life that will allow us to receive the blessings he intends to give us.
• 6:28
  And he will do all that he can to let you see who he is, so that you can make
• 6:35
  that conscious choice to believe in an all-knowing, all-powerful, unfailing God.
• 6:42
  And it no doubt breaks his heart when someone leaves this world and passes through
• 6:49
  to eternity and hasn't given their life to him because he gave his life for you.
• 6:55
  He broke his body and he poured out his blood that you might have remission of sins.
• 7:01
  You are the ransomed and we are the redeemed because
• 7:06
  jesus loves us and from genesis to
• 7:09
  revelations he shows it and every day.
• 7:12
  That he breaks the dawn with a new day and he gives breath to our lives and
• 7:18
  he orchestrates our steps and he cares for us and blesses for us he shows us
• 7:24
  in fact the psalmist david said daily he loadeth us with his benefits and he
• 7:29
  doesn't say daily he loadeth the believer.
• 7:32
  He says daily he loadeth us with benefits.
• 7:36
  That's the just, the unjust. It's the ones who's walking in the will of God
• 7:41
  and the ones who've fallen by the wayside.
• 7:44
  Jesus loves me. This I know. In fact, in the book of Romans in the eighth chapter,
• 7:49
  he explains to us that nothing can separate us from the love of God.
• 7:54
  That's how I can tell you that his love is unconditional.
• 7:58
  And if you choose to pass through this world into eternity without knowing Christ
• 8:03
  as Savior, you have done that over the broken body and the shed blood of Jesus
• 8:09
  Christ. You've done that over the will of God.
• 8:12
  But he's going to let you choose.
• 8:15
  In fact, in the book of Deuteronomy, he says, Choose you this day whom you will serve.
• 8:20
  And right now, you need to choose who it is you're going to serve.
• 8:24
  And if you've given your heart to Jesus Christ, you need to stop for a moment,
• 8:29
  reflect upon your life, and you need to see, am I walking in a way that shows Christ I love him?
• 8:35
  Am I walking in a way that shows a lost and dying world that Jesus saves?
• 8:40
  Am I different because I heed the Holy Spirit which dwells in me than someone
• 8:47
  who doesn't know him and does not have him?
• 8:51
  The Bible continues in verse 25 of the 17th chapter of Acts and says.
• 8:56
  Neither is worship with men's hands as though he needed anything,
• 8:59
  seeing he giveth to all life and breath and to all things,
• 9:03
  and hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all face of the
• 9:07
  earth, and hath determined the times before appointed and the bounds of their habitation.
• 9:14
  He's appointing when you're going to be born and when you're going to die.
• 9:18
  The song of solomon tells us that as well the
• 9:21
  proverbs give us that information he lets
• 9:25
  us know he is the one who is
• 9:28
  in control and then verse 27 says coming upon that he says that thou that they
• 9:35
  should seek the lord if happily they might feel after him and find him though
• 9:43
  he be not far from every one of us.

  God is right there with you. In fact, he says he'll never leave you nor forsake
• 9:50
  you if you're a believer in him.
• 9:52
  But he's not far from the unbelief. He's there.
• 9:57
  I bring to your attention one of my favorite accounts in scriptures.

  Peter is on the boat and the storms come.
• 10:06
  And he's tossed to and fro and he looks out upon the water and he sees a figure.
• 10:12
  And he says, Lord, if that be you, bid me come. Peter did not call for a God to come.
• 10:21
  Peter looked up and saw he was already there. so
• 10:24
  regardless of what situation you're in
• 10:27
  right now the hand of god is near
• 10:30
  and the bible says that if
• 10:33
  you draw close to him he'll draw close to you the bible
• 10:36
  says if you seek him you'll find him if you
• 10:39
  ask he'll give you the answer and if
• 10:42
  you knock he'll open it up and this verse right
• 10:45
  here in Acts says he's not far from every one of
• 10:48
  us for in him we live and move
• 10:51
  and have our being we are
• 10:54
  all we are all because
• 10:58
  of Jesus Christ and this power the power that spoke the world into existence
• 11:06
  who causes the sun to rise and to set who says peace be still and calms the storm.
• 11:16
  Is the same power that lives in you and me.
• 11:22
  He says in verse 29, For as much then as we are the offspring of God,
• 11:26
  we ought not to think that the Godhead is likened to gold or silver or stone
• 11:30
  graven by art and man's device, and the times of this ignorance God winked at.
• 11:36
  But now commandeth all men everywhere to repent,
• 11:41
  because he hath pointed a day in which he would judge the world in righteousness,
• 11:45
  by that man whom he hath ordained, whereof he hath given assurance unto all
• 11:51
  men in that he hath raised him from the dead.
• 11:55
  Jesus laid his life down and picked it up again that you and I might have life eternal.

  And he loved us so much that he didn't want to be away from us so that when
• 12:06
  he went away to heaven to prepare a place for us, that he said,
• 12:10
  surely I will come again if I go to prepare a place for you in John chapter 14.
• 12:14
  He's gone to prepare a place for us, and he didn't want to ever be away from
• 12:18
  us, so he put the Holy Spirit inside of us to dwell in us.
• 12:22
  No, you're never alone, because you can't get away from God. He's always near.
• 12:29
  And if you're a believer in Christ, he dwells in you.
• 12:33
  Jesus loves me, this I know, and he never leaves me alone. What wonderful words
• 12:40
  of peace that we need to trust and hold on to.
