  Speaker 1: games there, and they were in Floyd Casey up through

  Speaker 1: twenty thirteen. They had that famous last game where they

  Speaker 1: turned out the lights when they won the Big Twelve

  Speaker 1: conference championship or share of it, and they beat Texas.

  Speaker 1: It turned out to be Mac Brown's final regular season game,

  Speaker 1: and it was a on a just a cruelly frigid day.

  Speaker 1: There's a sheet of ice across the fields about ten

  Speaker 1: degrees and it was a ballgame in halftime I think

  Speaker 1: it was ten three of that. But they ended up winning.

  Speaker 1: Baylor won at like thirty to thirteen and won their
• 5:06
  Speaker 1: share of the Big Twelve title that ye or maybe

  Speaker 1: wanted outright. And then the next year was the year

  Speaker 1: they shared with TCU. But anyway, Floyd Casey Stadium was

  Speaker 1: a fifty thousand seat kind of oval stadium. It had

  Speaker 1: one end zone pretty much open. It kind of had that,

  Speaker 1: you know, the concrete motif that Colorado has cam where

  Speaker 1: it's just Colorado down way. They kind of had that
• 5:33
  Speaker 1: in one end and what would be I guess the

  Speaker 1: south end there Baylor, and then on the north end

  Speaker 1: they had athletic offices and suites and things like that.

  Speaker 1: Here at First Bank Stadium, the bleacher style grand stands

  Speaker 1: on both sides very much resemble the old Floyd Casey

  Speaker 1: Stadium in Waco, where it just kind of goes straight up,

  Speaker 1: and to be quite honest, really before they replaced a

  Speaker 1: lot of bleacher seating with permanent stadium kind of Jones

  Speaker 1: At and T Stadium in Lobbock. Uh, it was it

  Speaker 1: kind of had that look as well. But the one
• 6:11
  Speaker 1: fall semester that I was a student there way back,
• 6:14
  Speaker 1: and when I was back then it was kind of
• 6:19
  Speaker 1: like that. But then of course they've gone to more

  Speaker 1: permanent style seating in a lot of that stadium. Well anyway, Uh,

  Speaker 1: this this stadium grand stand wise up one side on
• 6:30
  Speaker 1: the on the east and the west sides go straight
• 6:35
  Speaker 1: up with bleacher seating. Now they do have some chair
• 6:38
  Speaker 1: backs they put in the clamp on the seats, uh.

  Speaker 1: And they do have some chairback bleacher seating on the
• 6:44
  Speaker 1: home side for some season ticket all. So they do
• 6:47
  Speaker 1: have some of that, but it would remind long worn
• 6:50
  Speaker 1: fans of the old Foyd Ksey Stadium. Now that's where
• 6:53
  Speaker 1: the comparison's in, because on the north end they have
• 6:59
  Speaker 1: athletic offices and suites and stadium club and stuff like

  Speaker 1: that like so many other places do. The south end

  Speaker 1: is a complete mess right now because it's under renovation.

  Speaker 1: The stadium is under renovation and so there's you know,

  Speaker 1: I was down on the field when we first walked

  Speaker 1: in a little while ago, Roger Wallace and I walked

  Speaker 1: in and Roger had to do a couple of stand

  Speaker 1: up shots, videos and some reports back for k x AN,

  Speaker 1: and I was more un happy to serve as his photographer.

  Speaker 1: And we were down there and while it was going on,

  Speaker 1: there was a whole lot of that pard in our

  Speaker 1: dust going on, a whole lot of those drills and

  Speaker 1: jackhammers and all kinds of stuff and saws and just y,

  Speaker 1: you know, a lot of that stuff. And it is

  Speaker 1: a hard hat area. There are guys doing it. It

  Speaker 1: looks like it'll be really nice when they get it done.

  Speaker 1: But right now you're just kind of looking at concrete.

  Speaker 1: The bleachers are concrete pillars right now now, but while

  Speaker 1: they're putting everything else together. So in the final analysis,

  Speaker 1: this stadium seats slightly under twenty nine thousand. That's what

  Speaker 1: it'll be. It'll be cozy tomorrow. And you know what,

  Speaker 1: the amazing thing, the most amazing thing about this is Cameron.

  Speaker 1: I'm sitting there looking at that and I'm thinking the

  Speaker 1: Tennessee oilers actually played here.

  Speaker 2: Before they had Is.

  Speaker 1: It Nissan Stadium where the Titans play now downtown.

  Speaker 2: I think that's what it was called.

  Speaker 1: It was called that anyway, Okay, yeah, before that was built.

  Speaker 1: The Oilers when they moved from Houston. Remember they started

  Speaker 1: in Memphis. They played at the Liberty Bowl Stadium as

  Speaker 1: the Tennessee Oilers. Then they moved here and played into

  Speaker 1: what was then called Vanderbilt Stadium it's now First Bank Stadium,

  Speaker 1: and they actually played here or I think it was
