Latest / Connor with Honor: AI, Real Estate and Real Life / AI can help you torch off body fat but only if it's trained right
Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Understanding artificial intelligence and something else that I love to talk about is the the fat loss to actually body fat through fasting.
- 0:07SPEAKER_00: Studies have shown there's actually a new research study that was brought out recently talking about these large language models being very effective in actually coaching people to torch off body fat and to get in much better shape.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: And I do see that as being something that probably is very real.
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: However, these large language models and the AI that you, the artificial intelligence you access, be wary with it because in some cases it's trained on, well, whatever data is really as good as that system happens to be.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: So let's say it's trained on data that believes that the caloric restriction model is the best way to drop weight, even though it's totally a farce and totally you know bases itself on the pyramid that actually should be turned upside down, and that's pretty much been debunked.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: It still bases itself on that.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: And if you go in there and start to ask it about things that might actually work for dropping that body fat, which is how you access the stored body fat on your system through a method of restricting and lowering your carbohydrates to such a point your body enters into something called ketosis, which then you're gonna have ketones show up in your blood.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: And for diabetics, that's not good, but for people that don't have diabetes, that's not a problem.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: But again, speak with your doctor before embarking on this.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: When you get into that realm, if you happen to be looking at an artificial intelligence model that is well trained in the literature, then it's going to back that up and then it will actually help you and coach you to a better weight and a better shape.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: But it's going to depend on the way that model's trained.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: So again, you have to pull back and you have to look at the prevailing science out there, talking about whether caloric restriction is better or whether actually longer-term fasting or intermittent fasting would be better, and then also what types of things you should be eating.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: And I'll give you a trick with this.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: If you're on a system that's talking about carbohydrates being necessary, you're probably looking at a model that was trained on bad data because there is no such thing as a necessary carbohydrate.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: If you stop all of them, your body actually uses something called gluconeogenesis and it will make enough glucose to be able to power whatever systems in the body require it.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: So your body is able to do it just by eating fat and protein.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: You don't have to have any sugar in the form of or carbohydrates in the form of sugar, starches, or anything else.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: It actually works.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: Do your research though before you take my word for it.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: But again, if you're looking at artificial intelligence to help coach you and be your support system, it might not be a bad idea, but I'll tell you, when I'm looking on there and I'm happening to be in a whatever model I'm looking at with AI, whether it's Grok or OpenAI or these different ones, that's what I mean by different models.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: And they're telling me to restrict my calories to a thousand calories a day, that's gonna work.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: I know that that's not true.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: I'm Connor.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: We'll see you in the next one.
