Welcome to Nate's Daily Wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's Daily Wager for
• 0:26
May 5th, 2024. Happy Cinco de Mayo.
• 0:32
To all that celebrate the great marketing minds of an import
• 0:36
company in Chicago, IL or I guess Illinois, who have
• 0:41
convinced Americans that a small skirmish in Mexico by the French
• 0:48
who lost that day but then later won, is an important event that
• 0:54
we must celebrate with lots of Corona and limes.
• 0:58
Hope you celebrate, hope you enjoy.
• 1:00
All right. Last night got a good win.
• 1:04
I wasn't confident that they would actually pull it off.
• 1:08
The T Wolves, that is. Unfortunately, I did not follow
• 1:10
my own advice that I normally do and sprinkle the money line.
• 1:14
I just took the spread. We had the points.
• 1:17
We got the win, but didn't get the money lines.
• 1:20
But hey, it's a win. It's all good.
• 1:23
Today I'm switching over to the hockey.
• 1:26
Why am I going to the hockey? Really no reason other than I
• 1:30
needed something a little later in the day.
• 1:32
And hey, we got a game 7:00 and basically I see everybody is
• 1:38
really pounding this under. The total is sitting at 5, 1/2.
• 1:43
Some places have even dropped it all the way to 5 because it's
• 1:46
sitting in like -150. So since everybody's pounding
• 1:50
the under, I'm going to go ahead and take the over, get some plus
• 1:54
money on that. Looking at 5 1/2, it's still
• 1:58
sitting at say about plus 125 right now.
• 2:02
If you're seeing it at 5, I'm getting my regular -110,
• 2:05
sometimes even minus one O 5. So yeah, that's the only reason
• 2:10
I'm doing. Again, I have no idea anything
• 2:13
about these two teams. We're talking about Vegas and
• 2:16
Dallas 2 hotbeds of hockey, and I think they're like original
• 2:20
six teams. So we're going to take over 5
• 2:24
1/2 total goals between Vegas and Dallas in today's NHL game
• 2:31
Seven hockey action is anything better than that.
• 2:35
Pound it, That's my pick and I'm sticking to it.
