A Kentucky college student, Laken Snelling, 22, has pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter and multiple other charges after admitting she killed her newborn son by depriving him of oxygen. The infant’s body was found hidden in plastic bags inside a closet by roommates in August 2025. Snelling confessed to covering up the birth and tampering with evidence while still part of the University of Kentucky’s STUNT team.
