- 0:44that too. I was completely unsure of what today was. But welcome,
- 0:48Welcome to the Friday edition of The Wheelhouse. Oh then, never before her
- 0:53Friday edition of the Wheelhouse. Uh well, it's it's good to have you
- 0:56all with us. Coming up on the show today. I would have to
- 0:58say, the godfather of extreme wrestling, the godfather of uh, let me
- 1:03bust my head open while I'm in the ring, Terry Funk Terrence as he
- 1:08was born, also known by the name Chainsaw Charlie. Yes, brief sent
- 1:14in the WWF days there Chainsaw Cactus Jack. I'm gotta we gotta find out
- 1:19what names were turned down? What names? He just said, all right,
- 1:22that's retarded the cactus. Sorry. The Chainsaw Charlie character was basically Terry
- 1:26Funk with a pantyhoe over his head like he was like he was a guy
- 1:30trying to rob a bank kind of a then basically yeah, and they had
- 1:34put some form of Freddy Krueger slasher flick character. Yeah, and he came
- 1:38down with a chainsaw, would it would well, it wouldn't be if he
- 1:42came down with a billy club, it wouldn't work. I don't know why
- 1:45they didn't go with Terry Funk. Everybody knew it was Terry Funk. They
- 1:47would refer to him as Terry Funk. It was his alter ego Wow storyline
- 1:51mode, but it was soon dumped after a while. There, Wow Charlie
- 1:55is He'll tell you. In preparation, last night I watched some ww WE
- 2:00raw Sorry to hear that. M M, well, so was that did
- 2:04you see my did you see my twin brother Shamus? I did? I
- 2:07did I was, really I was. I was rooting for him. It
- 2:09was root for him. I saw the announcement that at Night of Champions it's
- 2:13going to be a six pack match. Oh boy, Yeah? Is that
- 2:15gonna feature? Will that be guest hosted by the situation? Probably based on
- 2:22the amount of twittering he did today. Probably if they pay him enough.
- 2:25As I know they can't afford j out to host, It's so probably not.
- 2:30Probably not. I did see. I do have a question for you
- 2:34before we get Terry Funk on the on the horn here, Jeff Peck,
- 2:38What is a miss? Miss? Miss? A wrestler? Is a miss?
- 2:44Miss? Is a wrestler? He was actually started out in Real World
- 2:46New York. When they went back to New York twenty years later or whatever
- 2:50it was, and I went through the Tough Enough Show. If you guys
- 2:53remember that the Real Boy Program, became a wrestler. Uh. Miss is
- 2:58basically the first three letters of Mike Mzannen's last name, which is his room
- 3:01name. He goes by the miss. The miss. Ah, I see,
- 3:06do you feel better now? Caused? Do you feel a little?
- 3:08I can't say any of that helped. No, No, I can't say
- 3:12that. No, now, how many Tough Enough did they have? They
- 3:15had two on MTV and then they did one that was like part of SmackDown
- 3:20for a while that never really did well. I actually liked the Tough Enough
- 3:22shows. I thought they showed a little bit more of an inner insight to
- 3:24the wrestling rings. And now they have not only a women's champion, but
- 3:29a diva's champion. There's two ladies. Because there's two brands. You have
- 3:32two you have two world heavyweight champions as well, because you have the w
- 3:37WB champion and a World Heavyweight champs correct, and then on the other side,
- 3:40and they want to make sure that they keep those separate on each one
- 3:43of the two brands that they have. For no good, God damn,
- 3:46there at one time they had three brands I know, yeah, probably even
- 3:52four. Well yeah, you look at it, because wasn't there the ec
- 3:57W one as well, Because they keep kind of going back and forth on
- 4:00actually whether or not they want ECW, right, they haven't figured that part
- 4:04of it out. I guess they had it because then well, I mean,
- 4:08they had the WWE, and they had the SmackDown, and they had
- 4:12WCW and they had ECW. Gotcha, they had one, right, So
- 4:15they had all of those and then found a way to combine them and then
- 4:17split them up again. And now they're doing a show called NXT, which
- 4:20is for like younger wrestlers that are toddlers. Yep, they're toddlers. That's
- 4:25awesome. Look up, schoolers beat it in backyard. That's awesome. Se
- 4:30fifth graders just beating the Jesus out of each other with a baseball bat.
- 4:35All right, are we ready to give Terry Funk a call? Sir?
- 4:39I believe now, didn't he his brother? He and his brother were one
- 4:42of the better tag teams. Tory Funk Junior, him, the Funk Brothers,
- 4:46the Funk Brothers all favors. There we go, the One and Only
- 4:50Terry Funk. Terry, how are you, sir? I'm doing okay.
- 4:56I'm not sure I'm the one and only anymore. I'm the one in lonely
- 5:02l O M E L W. Well, we were just talking about we
- 5:06were just rolling through memories of Terry Funk, and I was I was remembering
- 5:12you and the brother. First of all, I always remember the Funk Brothers
- 5:15as being for me, one of the first tag teams I can remember back
- 5:18in the day of just being the dominant coming to the ring, like We're
- 5:21just going to beat your ass. And that was that was the coolest thing
- 5:26at the time. Rather than have I don't know, go to some horrible
- 5:29gimmicky the Killer Bees or the Rougeaux Brothers or any of that kind of crap.
- 5:33There was just the Funk Brothers. They came in and they were gonna
- 5:35beat your ass. Silly, done and done, you know. It was
- 5:40it was a wonderful time and a wonderful period in wrestling. And that it
- 5:44was amazing because there was so many regions in the country, you know,
- 5:46and it was so easy to play region against region, you know. And
- 5:53there was the Yankees up there and they would come to Texas, you know,
- 5:56and the Texans would go to New York and you know, it would
- 6:00just worked out wonderful. You And that was a wonderful time period in the
- 6:03world wrestling. It was thirty what thirty six different organization, wow, thirty
- 6:10six different groups and wrestlers around the country. And it was a heck of
- 6:14a lot of fun. Now, Terry, Terry, how I loved I
- 6:17loved it fan and uh and I'm sure the guys love it. Now and
- 6:21I think that they it's uh a bit different than it was before. And
- 6:28uh and it should be different. It's what the fans wanted to be.
- 6:31Looking back now, I believe what are you? Are you sixty six?
- 6:34Now? Is am I doing a math correct on this? No? I'm
- 6:38one hundred and five one hundred and five. You know I knew it was
- 6:40somewhere in that forty year range. Yeah, you you were, you were
- 6:44close. I was close. I mean I was on I get as old
- 6:46as you peel, aren't you? I didn't my calculators and five is that?
- 6:50Is that like an insight? My one hundred and five is like I've
- 6:55had my body peep to hell, so new all it goes you there's in
- 7:00the ring. I got one hundred and five year old body. There you
- 7:02go. Numerically you're at sixty six, but your body if we did a
- 7:05bone marrow test, it would definitely be dust, is what you're trying to
- 7:09say. Oh it would be scary. Uh. Now, looking back,
- 7:13would you would you have said, when you're one of the first couple of
- 7:15times that you walked into the ring and you were wrestling, or the Funk
- 7:18Brothers getting there, would you say that, looking forward to age sixty six,
- 7:21that you would still be wrestling or is this something that you thought for
- 7:26sure you would have been done with a few years ago. Well, you
- 7:29know, as I'm not really wrestling at sixty six, I think I am
- 7:32nobody else. But no, no, I really haven't wrestled in about a
- 7:39year now, you know. And uh, I don't think that I would
- 7:42go back in the ring again. You know, I think I've got enough
- 7:45sense. You know. The last time, oh, I went over to
- 7:48Japan and had a great time over there and was in a six man tag
- 7:53and it was in December or something like That's that was the last time I'm
- 7:59going over there. I think the last time over here was whenever I was
- 8:03in New York and I went up to New York for a show and it
- 8:07was ECWS show and I can't remember when it was, you know, And
- 8:13I think it was me and h somebody against Edge and somebody Edge and Foley
- 8:20and and myself and Tommy Dreamer. There you go, look at that Edge
- 8:24and Folly. But what was wonderful about it, though, was uh I
- 8:26was sixty five at a time and it was still the best match on the
- 8:31card. That night. Nice. That wasn't bad. That's gotta be a
- 8:35good feeling. I mean, you walk away from you walk away, So
- 8:39I have some good guys in a ring are contributed. Sure, Sure,
- 8:43that makes it a little bit easier to have some of those guys around you
- 8:45too, to lift you up on that left. Absolutely, do you do
- 8:50you still have as much passion for the entertainment of wrestling now as you did
- 8:54when you first got into the biz. I've got a minute passion for for
- 9:03wrestling as a whole, I really do, you know, and and and
- 9:07certain parts of it. I don't have compassion for, you know. I
- 9:11mean, uh, let me explain myself a bit as uh, I'm not
- 9:16in I don't have a great deal of passion. And this is not meant
- 9:20bad or anything, but I think that, uh, wrestling should always be
- 9:26an extension A wrestler should always be an extension of his own personality. Okay,
- 9:31And I think that uh, actors aren't wrestlers wrestlers, and wrestlers aren't
- 9:39actors. Wrestlers are wrestlers. And uh, I'm not really fond of of
- 9:46of as much control as they put on their their product as they do in
- 9:52New york Uh. I think the individuals should be given a bit more control
- 9:58and be able to be themselves a bit more instead of portraying the characters they
- 10:03do. I think RLHS accomplishes that. Agreed. Agreed. I feel like
- 10:09there's i the different Ring of Honor events that I have been to. It
- 10:13doesn't feel forced, it doesn't feel here's this incredible gimmick we're gonna throw out
- 10:18with this guy dressed in a gold lamay one piece suit and has gold face
- 10:22paint on and is slightly gay acting, and we're just gonna run him out
- 10:26there because we think for some reason the part of the audience missing this and
- 10:31they need this. It just feels like and he's gonna say this and this
- 10:35and this, Yes, but what would you know? It really takes the
- 10:39identity away from you know, it takes what I've known through the years as
- 10:46a wrestler. It takes a bit of that identity away from you know.
- 10:50Yeah, and cause, but you know that you've got guys too. You
- 10:52know, you've got your edges, and you've got your you know, you've
- 10:56got your undertakers, and you've got guys who can can perform so well you
- 11:01know, uh, and do and you've got your guys got you've got your
- 11:05guys in Roah. I think it's a little uh, you know, I
- 11:09like it. It's where it's not so U predicted as far as the company
- 11:16is concerned either, right, right, that's so predictable, you know.
- 11:20I mean the matches aren't nothing is you know, I mean go to Roah.
- 11:24It's the guy on a second match is trying to bust his ass and
- 11:28have a better match than the last match. Yes, you know, and
- 11:31that's true. And U and when you when you watch that that card and
- 11:37you're there for the entire show. First of all, you're getting it entire
- 11:39you're getting like really three shows in one show. When you're there, you
- 11:41get an incredible performance out of everybody that's there. They're there, they're busting
- 11:46their ass. But but the thing that I like best, I think this
- 11:48goes to what you're saying, Terry. Is it you it's believable. You
- 11:52believe in the people that are walking from the ring and into the ring.
- 11:54It's not some over the top conceptualized sat down for the last six months and
- 12:00said, well, we've got to have somebody fill this character's void. Let's
- 12:03just throw it in there and see if it sticks for this guy, even
- 12:05though it may be nothing like him whatsoever. I'm in a hundred percent agreement
- 12:11with you. Gotchau So to the Sorry power Terry, to that point in
- 12:18today's wrestling. You've been involved for so long, do you think ultimately Vince
- 12:24McMahon and that brand is right for wrestling? In the costumes, the characters,
- 12:33the writing, is that ultimately good for wrestling? You know? I
- 12:37really don't know, you know, I mean it can it be? Is
- 12:41it the best? I think it's good for what they are producing. I
- 12:43think they put producer good show, I really do. I mean, you
- 12:46watch the thing and it's got it's got a pizzazz and a class to it,
- 12:52you know. But I mean then you look over at the other side.
- 12:54You know, it's the other extreme and what is the other string,
- 12:58you know, the other stream as the UFCD n EM. Yeah, you
- 13:01know I mean that. Uh, And you watch these guys and uh and
- 13:07then you look at Roh and I truly believe our ohs are somewhere in between.
- 13:11I couldn't agree more. And uh, And I think it's a I
- 13:16think it's a wonderful tweener that everybody should take a look at. And I
- 13:20think that uh another thing that is that is very smart, which I predicted
- 13:24a long time ago. But uh, I don't know if you've watched newspapers
- 13:28in a way they have gone. But newspapers are in a great deal of
- 13:33trouble right now. Yeah, And the reason why is because they've become obsolete.
- 13:41And what has made them obsolete is what internet, right, you know?
- 13:46And I think that again as I'm sounding like some kind of a pool
- 13:50up here trying to you know, give talk like our h has all of
- 13:56his ass and everything, but they've got I'm telling you that they've got good
- 14:00things going for them. And I think that whenever you can go ahead and
- 14:03put them on that Internet and go ahead and get a pay per view out
- 14:05of Internet, I think if that's smart. I think it's original. I
- 14:09think it's something that's uh has a new life to it, you know,
- 14:15I truly do, you know, And I think that uh, and I
- 14:18think that they are something special for going out there and uh traveling that road
- 14:24in that avenue. It's something fresh, it's something different, it's something new.
- 14:28And I think they've got a great group. I mean, I don't
- 14:35think it uh by by any means, Can anybody go ahead and say,
- 14:39hey, these guys aren't going to make it, or hey, these guys
- 14:43are Hey, these guys are only going to go this far. They can't
- 14:48get any bigger than that. I mean, there is uh give it.
- 14:50Let's let's let's look back at five years from now, you know, and
- 14:56hopefully as we uh we see these guys and and given us uh and in
- 15:01a tweener terry you were terry, you were very interesting. Tween area is
- 15:05a tween area between the two extremes. One extreme is uh is a ww
- 15:11E and the other extreme is ufcn n M A terry. You were very
- 15:16instrumental in the beginning there of ECW in the mid nineties. Do you see
- 15:20any comparisons from ECW to roh what sure I do? Sure, I do
- 15:24absolutely, you know? And uh uh what happened to ECW though, is
- 15:30uh you know they forgot what what was meant by the word extreme just through
- 15:37evolving. But extreme at first was a bunch of guys out there busting their
- 15:43asses to give you the best match that they were physically capable of doing.
- 15:50And it wasn't done with with garbage cans and pails and other stuff. And
- 15:56uh, but you know, I mean uh, and I don't mean unfortun
- 16:00and maybe they needed it or whatever. I mean, but they went the
- 16:04other route towards you end. And I think that that was the wrong road
- 16:08to travel, you know. I mean, we all have to have our
- 16:11extreme matches. You know that too, but you have to build it on
- 16:15a foundation. And that up there was built on a foundation of guys busting
- 16:22their asses in the rings. But it's just like wrestling this today. You
- 16:26keep on going with the stipulations, you know, I mean, all right,
- 16:33let's have this stipulation. All right, we're pretty soon you're drawing out
- 16:37of stipulations and you're not drawing with your right Well, and I know for
- 16:40you personally, you had been in I don't know how many, but I
- 16:45know of at least two or three that I can kund of one hand retirement
- 16:47matches that you were personally involved. And it seems to me, oh absolutely,
- 16:51I'm going to have as many more as I can't. It seems to
- 16:55me that's been the big one of the big draws. Let's have a retirement
- 16:57matchine called the end of the career. Here. But it never It's like
- 17:00kiss going on another reunion tour. It happens every single year. I know.
- 17:03I often thought about going in the ring and turning heel by going ahead
- 17:07and go and say, all right, I'm tiring, you know this,
- 17:10This's gonna be my last match, and I'm passionate a hat uh huh.
- 17:14Anybody that's got a buck out there, put it in there for me,
- 17:17because I'm not gonna be back, you know, throw pass a hat around
- 17:21to say, jeez, you know, thirty seven dollars forty three shins?
- 17:25What the hell are you people? Matched? I can't live on that.
- 17:30That won't even get me home tonight. I won't even retire. I won't
- 17:33even that won't even buy me to the chicks pack of beer anymore. At
- 17:38the bar we are, we're talking with the legendary Funk. He will be
- 17:42signing autographs at the Ring of Honor Glory by Honor nine at the Manhattan Center.
- 17:48Band there and looking forward you know, as uh it's been a long
- 17:52times. I was on a Rlah show and uh I am looking so word
- 18:00to it, you know. But I but I I I hear about their
- 18:03boys all the time, you know, and uh, they've got some great
- 18:07talent and uh continually you see him robbing that talent, yes, yeah,
- 18:15and then going to bigger you know. Uh and I shouldn't I shouldn't say
- 18:19bigger places. But they buy them out. Well I would say, well,
- 18:22well, we can all a grease bigger salary. That's right. I
- 18:26think that's great that they buy them out, you know. I mean,
- 18:29but uh, uh, they're becoming the the the life blood of the other
- 18:34of the rest of the industries. Well, Terry, let me ask you.
- 18:37Let me ask you this a lie. I mean, they're they're the
- 18:40life blood of wrestling. If you look at wrestling and you look what's come
- 18:45out of ROAH and a lot of the guys, and not all of them,
- 18:48not all of them, but many of them have been uh formerly ROH
- 18:55stars. Yeah. Let let me ask you this. If you right now,
- 18:57if if you had the opportunity, you were in the Ring of Honor
- 19:00locker room and you knew that the word was that somebody that's in that Ring
- 19:03of Honor locker room is going to be getting an offer from the w w
- 19:07E and Vince McMahon tomorrow to come join their organization. What's the bit of
- 19:11advice that you give to that individual, whether you know it's them individually or
- 19:15not, you're just talking to the whole group. What's the bit of advice
- 19:18that you give to a young wrestler today working his ass off and ring of
- 19:21honor and here comes the opportunity there's going to be an opportunity around the corner
- 19:26for w W. What's the advice based upon your experience that you hand off
- 19:29to these kids? Son, don't burn any bridges. What goes around comes
- 19:37around, gotcha, ter we were talking about, you do it with dignity,
- 19:44you do it with honor, You do it you if it's better for
- 19:48you, then I mean, I'm not trying to you know, you have
- 19:52to look as a wrestler, what does uh you know, because you have
- 19:56a limited career and even much more limited now than whenever I was in it.
- 20:03Seriously, I mean I'm not gonna try to, you know. I
- 20:07mean, I think absolutely we did more wrestling than what has done today.
- 20:11But the physicalness in the rain is just it takes its toll on you.
- 20:19In any of the organizations, you know, and uh, and I know
- 20:26our oh is uh damn, I mean they are very physical in anything,
- 20:30and they have to be. That is why oh is uh is And I
- 20:34say I would like to be looking at it in ten years from now because
- 20:38it's a very uh physical form of wrestling and I think it. I think
- 20:44it's uh very catching well and I like, I like, just like it's
- 20:49just like the measles. You know, as long as as long as you're
- 20:53in that locker room given out advice, you're bringing your tights, are you?
- 20:56You're bringing your tides into the show, right, Terry, No,
- 21:00I'm not. Yeah, Cornett might want me to bring mine? How would
- 21:07I would have if I could get ahold of that? Lee? Allot go
- 21:10ahead and bring who was the guy Jeff the last one we went to who
- 21:14got his head smashed to the table that just didn't look right. Eddie Kingston
- 21:18was in a great match that we saw and he got his head plowed through
- 21:22the table that it looked like everybody was scared after that after the connection hit
- 21:26and I never did hear what happened to him if he was okay from the
- 21:29whole to switch. But you want to talk about a physical show, Ring
- 21:32of Honors got it front to back. They're gonna be September eleventh Manhattan Center
- 21:36of New York City. Terry Funk will be there as well. Terry,
- 21:38you were talking aboutfore about ECW. I'm gonna be rooting for those rooting for
- 21:42the guys. Yet he's not putting his head through it to any more tables.
- 21:45He's done with the table head putting. You know, the only guy
- 21:48that I'd want to go ahead and beat the hell out. I used to
- 21:55hate that little pastor. Do you have any Do you have any good stories
- 21:59about James Cornette? What's that? Do you have any good stories about working
- 22:03with Cornette over the years? Do I have good feelings about him? Did
- 22:07I have? Fine? How could I have good feelings about Cornette? Tennis
- 22:15racket him, his gay little tennis. I love him. I think I
- 22:18think that I think that you know, as again, you know, as
- 22:22you've got to when you've got guys like Cornette with minds like he's got,
- 22:26you know, and and and what you get is you get a little bit
- 22:30of the Bolshevic, you know. And that's what I love about him.
- 22:33He's a bit of a Bolshevic. You know. Cornett could be anywhere he
- 22:37wanted to, but he's picked out a place where he wants to be.
- 22:41He picked out a place where he feels fit, like he fits in there.
- 22:45And he also picked a place because he likes the product they're producing.
- 22:51Yeah, and he could he could be if he wanted to, He could
- 22:55be any place that he wanted right now, Jim Cornett and Nette has a
- 23:00wonderful mind. But again, is he's a bit of a ball for pick
- 23:03you know? Is he uh? I should go his own way and do
- 23:06his own thing, you know what? Sometime is absolutely ubsurd. Terry.
- 23:11We're discussing before about ECW, and a lot of fans want to know because
- 23:15recently Tena ran a ECW type of reunion show booked by one of your protege's,
- 23:21Tommy Dreamer. Was there any contact by Tommy Dreamer or TNA to you
- 23:25to come in for that one night only reunion show a couple of weeks ago.
- 23:29Well, and I think that they, I think that they knew that
- 23:32I wouldn't gonna go. You know, I made statement before I'm not going
- 23:34down here, right you know, And there's no I don't want to go
- 23:38down here. And if I wanted to go, I'd call him up and
- 23:42tell him I wanted to be there. Got you, you know, and
- 23:45I think that they knew that if they made the you know, I mean
- 23:49and it wouldn't it would be about they made the gesture detending I wouldn't go,
- 23:53you know, and uh no, nar would I did? I want
- 23:59to go in a ring attack time? You know? So you know what
- 24:02am I gonna be some it is sitting around the ring side there are Let's
- 24:08get the spotlight. Let's look at uh well, Terry. Let's let's let
- 24:15me ask you a couple of questions here and then we'll get ready to see
- 24:18you September eleventh, in New York City, the Manhattan Center for the Ring
- 24:22of Honor, Glory by Honor. Okay, so here we go. Let's
- 24:26looking back on your long and illustrious career. Here, who would you say
- 24:30your your favorite match was against it? Maybe it's a Funk Brothers match or
- 24:36an individual match, your favorite when you got done that match, and it
- 24:40may even be the most the most recent and last US match you were involved
- 24:44in. But where you got done, you said, man, it really
- 24:47it's gonna be tough to beat that. Well, you know, I I
- 24:51you know, and this is why it is. And I, you know,
- 24:53I'm gonna just tell you the truth. You know. You can't.
- 24:56You can't. I cannot put it in a favorite match. I gotta put
- 24:59it in matches because there's been so many different ones, you know, my
- 25:03favorite match, I mean going in the ring with luthes and wrestling Luthez,
- 25:07you know, going in the ring with Jean Kaninsky and wrestling Jean Kaninsky.
- 25:12You know, being in the ring with my brother, even with the brother
- 25:17versus brother probably one of the few times it's been done in the business.
- 25:22It has been done now, but at one of the few times at the
- 25:25time that's been done, you know, Going in the ring with Abdula the
- 25:29Mutcher and making uh why would I like to say, going in the ring
- 25:33with him because I made a ship pot full of money with him, use
- 25:36my language, you know, And that's the truth, you know. And
- 25:40going in the ring with Harley Race and yeah, but just so many things,
- 25:44you know, And and being in the ring with guys that like uh,
- 25:48you know that I can go back to, you know, with bern
- 25:51Gania, and being in the rings with guys like Iron, Mike de Biasi,
- 25:56who is a wonderful mentor and the father of Teddy. You know,
- 26:00and and just on and on and on and on and on, you know,
- 26:03being in the ring with all of the Japanese greats. You know,
- 26:07it's just it's it's uh, you know, to single one thing out and
- 26:12say, well, that was the best thing that I ever did. Being
- 26:15in the ring with my father. That was probably the greatest thing that I
- 26:18ever did, was be in the ring with my father and be in the
- 26:22ring with a six and a sixth man with my brother, myself and my
- 26:26father in the ring, and uh, that was that was a pleasure.
- 26:33That that was beyond beyond all of the pleasures. I have to say that
- 26:38I like that. You know, well it watch what would you who would
- 26:42you say right now? And I'm sure that the list is probably equally as
- 26:45long, but I'll ask the question who right now? Would you never want
- 26:49to have to spend any time with again that you've met from the wrestling biz,
- 26:53meaning sit down and have lunch, have a coffee, sit down and
- 26:56discuss anything, or take a phone call from somebody that you just said last
- 27:00time you saw them, lasting me, deal with him, forget it.
- 27:03That's done. I'm not going to deal with him again. Uh not not
- 27:11really. I don't. I don't think, you know. I mean I
- 27:12would sit down with anybody if they called me up. Okay, you know,
- 27:18do I have to have people that I don't care for? You?
- 27:21But would I would? I not want to sit down with him. I
- 27:26want to sit down with everybody at this time in my life. You know,
- 27:30if there was a hatchets to be buried, well, hell, I'd
- 27:33like to bury him, you know. I mean that's just the way I
- 27:37feel at this point in my life. You know, who who would you
- 27:41feel? Right now? There was there's probably one what was his name?
- 27:45My gosh, I'll think of it in a minute. He was, Oh,
- 27:51my gosh. He was from the East Coast and up there, and
- 27:53he was a promoter and he was going to take over the whole United States.
- 27:57And he was on the air plane and I was on the airplane and
- 28:02he got off, and I got off, and I went ahead, and
- 28:06yeah, you ought to make us a trivia question, and I went ahead,
- 28:10And trust me, right now, Jeff is racking trying to figure out
- 28:11he had television in our territory. And I snatched him on the airplane in
- 28:18Atlanta, Georgia. And whenever I snatched him as I grabbed him by the
- 28:23lapel and I shook him and I said, don't you ever ever ever put
- 28:30that TV in our territory again. You better get it off the air.
- 28:33And he went ahead and went out to a place where you had come through.
- 28:37You know, well, you had an inspection there. I checked for
- 28:41the medal. And he came through there and he was a promoter on the
- 28:44East coast and he was promoting an organization up there, and he went through
- 28:48there and he tore his lapels on the way and he went ahead and he
- 28:52said that I kicked him in the testicles. And they were waiting for me
- 28:56whenever I came through there, and they put me in jail. Wow.
- 29:00So I would like to go ahead, and uh uh, that's the one
- 29:06guy I didn't like. I'm trying to think of his name, But somebody
- 29:08out there would be a question, who was that? Who was it?
- 29:11Yeah, we're Martinez, Pedro Martinez, Martinez, okay, Pedro Martinez.
- 29:19Yeah. He had me drown in jail. Wow. And then he went
- 29:22ahead and sued me for eighteen million dollars. Oh yeah, I assumed me
- 29:27and I had to go to court in Atlanta, Georgia. I went better,
- 29:32and he said that I kicked him in the testicles, and he had
- 29:34a picture of one one side of his testicles. I don't want to use
- 29:38any first words on everybody. He had one great, big, huge testicle
- 29:44in the picture. You know what. They found me guilty. They found
- 29:48me guilty, and I did nothing to that, and so I settled for
- 29:52five thousand dollars out of court. So Pedro Martinez, you better be You
- 29:59know, he's not around anymore and still but somewhere the picture of his testicle
- 30:04is the day I might like to beat the shit ouel. I wish you
- 30:07the best, I hope here in heaven, but I would like to beat
- 30:11him. I just like that. Terry would also like to say, is
- 30:15he would like to beat the other testicle and have a shot at it.
- 30:17And actually, if he's paying the five thousand dollars to give him shot the
- 30:19other that I was supposed to kick him. Oh, Terry, all right,
- 30:27let's let me let me see if if anybody else in the chat room
- 30:30has any more questions or if we're just gonna get ready to wrap this thing
- 30:33up here, cause if you've got anything otherwise, I'm gonna mention where you
- 30:37can see Terry and get autographs from Terry Funk. The legend, well about
- 30:41ten years ago was when Beyond the Mat came out. Terry, how I
- 30:45mean maybe over a little bit of time here or even at the time,
- 30:48how did you How did you like that movie? And how did you like
- 30:53how it portrayed you? I thought it was it was just it wasn't you
- 31:00know, I portrayed me as what it was me. I mean, it
- 31:04was a documentary. I mean, he came to my house. He's been
- 31:08a great deal of time with me, and after a while, as I
- 31:15forgot the Cameron was there, I'm very bloss seen as a wonderful individual in
- 31:21person. I liked him very much, and uh, he just kind of
- 31:25moved in with us for a while, my wife and I, you know,
- 31:27and it wasn't like there was even found him going on, you know.
- 31:33And evidently it was that way with Jake too. Yeah, yeah,
- 31:37because he's evidently evidently he must have not thought her a found me going on
- 31:44pretty relaxed, pretty relaxed, relaxing high But you know, either case,
- 31:48Yeah, Terry, just want to get your your final thoughts on one.
- 31:52Vincec Man, what a what are your thoughts about the great vincec Man honestly
- 32:01and seriously, yes, is uh I actually uh, I don't like him.
- 32:16And the reason I don't like him, and I mean that from the
- 32:21bottom of my heart, is that he won, which which that will forever
- 32:30bother me. Uh. He made me a great deal of money. He's
- 32:36made a great deal of the people. Uh, in the world of wrestling
- 32:40money. I you know, I cannot uh you know, I mean,
- 32:47he's made more million Would I have made that many millionaires? I'm not sure
- 32:52I would have, you know. And what I have paid what he paid,
- 32:59I'm not sure I would have. So uh, you know, as
- 33:05you've got to remember that I called back a long time and that's hard to
- 33:08hard, too hard to saber, right, it's hard to swallow, you
- 33:15know. And uh, that's just that's just me. It's the way that
- 33:19I was raised is you're always to be a winner. And uh maybe,
- 33:23uh maybe, who knows, you know, if I don't think it could
- 33:30have been changed. But he won the ball game, and it's his ball
- 33:36game as far as wrestling as we know it is concerned. The last question
- 33:40that the last question I've got for Terry Funk here and that for answering you
- 33:45on that love it. That was a good answer and honest from the heart.
- 33:50I appreciate that. And uh as as we're getting ready to wrap up
- 33:53the interview here and you're heading out for the Ring of Honor Glory by Honor
- 33:57nine at the Manhattan Center, New York City on septemb or eleventh, let
- 34:00me make it. You're gonna be You're gonna be meeting and you have I
- 34:02presume, over the length of your career met new generations and new generations and
- 34:07new generations of wrestling fans. Some of them may have seen your matches on
- 34:10television. Some of them may be referring to DVDs or old tapes of Funk
- 34:15Brothers or Terry Funk matches. The question that I've got for you is,
- 34:20through all of them, what is the way that you want Terry Funk to
- 34:23be remembered when it's all said and done. Like, I've got a daughter
- 34:28who's three right now, She's not watching any wrestling yet, but how how
- 34:31would you want to be remembered to even her generation? How do you want
- 34:36everybody to remember Terry Funk well, honestly and seriously and bottom line as I
- 34:46can be is are you there? Yeah? Okay, we're still here relisting
- 34:53for a minute, honestly and seriously and just as trade as I can be
- 34:59with you, as you know, as I it means more to me a
- 35:06great, great deal to me to be remembered as a good person. I
- 35:15mean, I want to go out of this world and be remembered as a
- 35:19good person. And that's not easoun do, no, No, There's a
- 35:25lot of things to get thrown in your way. But Terry, what a
- 35:30great time talking with you. I've had such a great time talking with you.
- 35:32Look forward to seeing you at the Manhattan Center, New York City,
- 35:35September eleventh. Best of luck out there with the autographs signing, it'll sound
- 35:39like it'll be. I mean, first of all, I know this firsthand.
- 35:42Those Ring of Honor fans are passionate. That's gonna be a fun time
- 35:45for you. You're really going to enjoy yourself there, and it's good to
- 35:49talk with you. I'm a passionate person too, you know. I'm just
- 35:53looking forward to to be an out on behalf of ourself here at the Wheelhouse.
- 36:00Uh and uh and Jeff Peck and his friends as well, thank you
- 36:02for all the years of extreme wrestling. If it weren't for you, we
- 36:06wouldn't be watching it. And thank you so much for that. Well,
- 36:09I don't know, hope, I don't hope it weren't for me. There
- 36:13was a whole lot of other guys. You've got to dance with. Somebody
- 36:16got you, Terry Funk. Thank you, sir. We'll look for you
- 36:19at the Ring of Honor event Ring of Honor, Ring Glory by Honor nine
- 36:22at the Manhattan Center, New York City on September eleven. Thanks Terry,
- 36:25we appreciate it. Okay, alrighty, take care. There you go.
- 36:30The legend Terry Funk, it was great the times. What are the chances
- 36:36he's wrestling and Glory by Honor? Let me come on now. He was
- 36:38coming hard at Cornett. Yeah, he wants Cornette pretty bad. I mean,
- 36:43I just don't. Would you be shocked? No, You're gonna have
- 36:45such a wrestling legend there. I mean, how could he not do anything
- 36:50in the ring. He can't just be sitting there signing Honor have to not
- 36:53get called into the ring. I know doing going to former Row eight shows
- 36:58the past year, them invited that when they do the autograph events, it's
- 37:01it's well before the show starts, right, but it's different. It's Terry
- 37:05Funk. He's made a lot of history in the Manhattan Center of New York
- 37:07City, a lot of resting fans respect him. They got to put him
- 37:12the ring and have him do at least something. I mean when I mean
- 37:15it was ten years ago, the Beyond the Mat came out and they were
- 37:17I mean the big prominent part of that is his you know, retirement,
- 37:22another retirement match that he had. Yeah, and for him to have just
- 37:25said in the interview and it was like, I think my last match was
- 37:28last year, and I was like, I almost almost choked on my own
- 37:30tongue. It's like, wait a minute, that was that was like ten
- 37:35years ago, and I wouldn't exactly at least fifteen retirement matches. As anybody
- 37:38knows, when they talk about retirement and wrestling, they refer to Terry Funk,
- 37:43because Terry Funk, like in The Beyond the Mat, retired in like
- 37:45ninety seven ninety eight, had that match with Bret Harte unretired three months later,
- 37:50came back to the WWF his chainsaw Charlie wrestled in w c W wrestled
- 37:53a little bit of roh and you heard it from him. This last match
- 37:58was in oh six, right in the Hammerstein. Let me ask you this,
- 38:00does he take a bump? I mean, does he get I don't.
- 38:04I don't know. If he and Cornette get into the ring together.
- 38:07I mean Cornette and him in the ring would be just really cool for old
- 38:09school fish sure, because there's both such good old school personas right, and
- 38:14you're going to use old and bold letters. He is just uh, he's
- 38:20just he's gonna do something. He's gonna it's kind of a slower match,
- 38:22I would imagine, right, Yeah, I don't. I don't think it's
- 38:27I think it's a yelling. It's somebody. Somebody takes a bump, and
- 38:30I don't know who it is. I would have to imagine Cornett would take
- 38:34the bump. I tell you what, man, Terry Funk forty, somebody
- 38:36else. What does he now he's got he's sixty six, sixty two.
- 38:38He wrestled I believe it was sixty two years old in two thousand and six,
- 38:42and the dude was was hanging in there with Edge and Tommy Dreamer and
- 38:45Mick Foley he got his eye hurt. They had a bandit to his eye
- 38:49up, and he came back out in barbed wire, flaming tables. Dude
- 38:52sixty two years old. I'm lucky at that time. Now he's just gonna
- 38:58other possible, that's possible. Just hey, if Rick muscle, it'll be
- 39:04a blow. I think Terry finding and I think Terry fuck knows he probably
- 39:10can't get back in there, but I'm sure if he's got one more left
- 39:13and he'll do it. Yeah, I and I think that'll probably all come
- 39:15down to. However, he's like right now, he's adamant that it's not
- 39:17going to happen. But once he's there and he meets the fans and he
- 39:21gets sort of that, he's gonnautograph. Terry gotta getting the rink tonight.
- 39:25No, I'm not gonna get in the rink tonight. But you know they're
- 39:28gonna they're gonna have some sort of moment. You know they're gonna guess what
- 39:30he is. Tightser in that bag. Yeah, Terry's ready, tighter in
- 39:35the back. Yeah, you got it. You gotta right, because I
- 39:37don't know if you'll use them, but they are they're packed in they're packed
- 39:40in the bag right next to a few eight by ten. There's a guy
- 39:43that's been wrestling for five decades. Yeah, you know, former n W
- 39:46A E c W champion. I'm got some history. I mean, it's
- 39:51definitely the thought of five decades and flaming tables and if you think about that,
- 39:57I mean that that's just from what we can recall from what he did
- 40:00with wrestling here. But I mean he wrestled like crazy in Japan. So
- 40:04I mean that guy, bad guy has played some of the probably the shittiest
- 40:08houses that wrestling has ever been in. Well it's well, probably the biggest
- 40:12events. Yeah. Well, here's the thing with Terry Funk. In the
- 40:15sixties and then the seventies, he became MWA champion eighties, was still prominent
- 40:19big in the nineties. I mean, he's in his fifties, right,
- 40:22He's wrestling through tables, stump tacks in the Bingo Hall. HECW Arena in
- 40:25Philly, which is well known to be like one hundred and ten degrees on
- 40:29the marble wire around the ring, marble wire around the ring. He was
- 40:31going over to Japan and wrestling mcfolio and matches that included C four. These
- 40:36these guys were exploding themselves up. And he's in his late forties, early
- 40:39fifties and he still kick its a mass. I don't he's hardcore. He's
- 40:45hard would say that. That's the end of the list. He's from the
- 40:49double X Ranch, double x rands. That's all right, right, Armarillo,
- 40:53Texas double Cross double cross double cross Ranch. Good times, very funk
- 41:00brothers. Well, listen, we'll take a quick break when we come back.
- 41:02I know there's some football talk that we should be discussing. Plus an
- 41:05opportunity for somebody who's listening right now to join the Wheelhouse, one of the
- 41:08three positions left in the Wheelhouse Fantasy football League. Here at the Wheelouse,

- 41:19we're there, at least in to here. I was supposed to be

- 41:30a game, We're talking about practice the Wheelhouse. This is clearly nuts.
- 41:38Metro sexual moment moment in history. The dragon Slayer von Pardu, a man
- 41:45in Montgomery County, Texas, was attacked by a neighborhood pitfall recently. The
- 41:49dog bit hard into Pardue's hand and refused to release its clinch. The Pardu
- 41:52didn't complain that the dog had ruined his manicured fingernails and they're shiny, translucent
- 41:58nail polished. Why not, because he didn't have any girly nail polish on.
- 42:01In fact, he doesn't even know what the word manicure means. He
- 42:05thinks it's when a guy gets better. With the snarling beast still digging into
- 42:08his hand, Pardu didn't pull some woosey crap and try to reason with the
- 42:13animal. He didn't say, let's compromise, let's pass a un resolution,
- 42:15let's talk about your problems. Did you have a rough childhood? Hell no.
- 42:19The Texans dragged the one foot tall, fanged monster a full block and

- 45:35You don't understand what he doesn't. He doesn't understand what Damon's fucking problem is.
- 45:38It's just I said to Bauer, I said, that means he's a
- 45:42Yankee. I mean, that's what it is. He's not a he's not
- 45:44a Red Sox. He's a Yankee. Rather where he is little Red Sox.
- 45:46Right, I don't get it. You have a chance to play in
- 45:49the playoffs. He also still thinks that Detroit's in the race, and oh
- 45:53god, no, I gave that truck, didn't I not give that up?
- 45:55At the halfway point of the season, it was already done. Fish
- 45:59can athmatically, we're still in it, just like everybody else is. See
- 46:02what kind of fire we have going in the last month. He also wanted
- 46:06to make sure that he got assurances from Jim Leland that he was going to
- 46:08still be in the lineup, so he felt his zoe. By staying there
- 46:13in Detroit, he's in much better shape than going to the Red Sox,
- 46:15who were five games out of the wild Card. Because how bad did it
- 46:21getting boss was? It really was? It like they wanted to kill Johnny
- 46:23Damon. That's what they're making it sound like. Here's the thing. No,
- 46:27it's what he's making it sound like. Okay, here's the thing.
- 46:30We're really disappointed that he left to go to the Yankees. Right deal from
- 46:37the Angels if he went and he got a huge deal from the Mets,
- 46:39if he went he got a huge deal from the Cardinals, we wouldn't have
- 46:44given two ships. We would have applauded him, stood for him when he
- 46:49came back. When you come back in pinstripes, No, you're not getting
- 46:54a standing ovation. You're not getting the oh well, after all of the
- 46:59wonderful times we had together after that, and then you completely blew us off
- 47:06to go for a team to give you more money. That's our heated rival,
- 47:08historically, over one hundred years rival. Why on God's green earth would
- 47:15we applaud you for making that decision? Right, So, yeah, we're
- 47:20as a part of Red Sox Nation. Hurt. Yes, but hold on,
- 47:24let let me see, let me see if I can clear this up
- 47:27rather quickly. But here, with this offer and the picking him up on
- 47:30waivers, you guys would have been accepting of him coming back to the team
- 47:34and giving him another shot and said, hey, let's just let's see what
- 47:37you got, buddy, Let's see if you can kind of help this team
- 47:38make it to that World Series yet again. But it was him being the
- 47:43ultimate puss about it and saying that he had on his list the Yankees and
- 47:46didn't have the Sox. That kind of makes you go, you know what,
- 47:50buddy, fuck you even more. The poll that was on the Boston
- 47:53Globe website had sixty forty for the Red Sox fans accepting him with open arms.
- 48:00I got a text from another buddy saying, I can't wait to see
- 48:02Johnny Damon back in Red Docks uniform. I mean, seriously, you go
- 48:08with the team that literally announced to everybody, nah, we don't want you.
- 48:14Yeah, thanks for the World Series, but good luck to you,
- 48:19but we've got Marcus. You'd rather have Nick Johnson. Yeah. I hated
- 48:23that they let Damon go see. But this is my point. He was
- 48:27afraid that if he went back as a Red Sock in some way, shape
- 48:30or formed, that Yankees fans would be mad at him. Then would you
- 48:32be mad at it for going back to the Red Sox right now, Jeff?
- 48:36Probably, well, especially the Yankees loss of the Red Sex exactly.
- 48:38Yeah, definitely no, he I understand that, But totally different circumstances,
- 48:44you'd say, right, yeah, definitely not him leaving New York reflecting the
- 48:49rival to go to Let me make this a little bit more applicable to Jeff
- 48:53Pack. So, Jeff Pack, oh, here we go. This should
- 48:57be good. You uh, couple of years ago, ended up banging causes
- 49:01girlfriend. Okay, all right, she stays with you for a little bit.
- 49:06You guys are all moved in together. She makes a nice house.
- 49:09She I don't know, it's not important. You don't care about that part.
- 49:12You finally got vagina. That's the part you care about. Right,
- 49:14Let's forget so that you get you're getting. She's making dinners for you,
- 49:17keeps a clean house for a couple of years. You finally decide, you
- 49:21know what, there's more vagina out there. I don't need her anymore.
- 49:22I'm gonna let her. I put her on Vagina wavers her Vagina no longer
- 49:28needed here. You don't listen, you don't have to go home, you
- 49:30just can't stay here. So and she has a no trade clause. So
- 49:34and this which, by the way, if Jeff Beck, if you are
- 49:36not naming your fantasy football team Vagina wavers, I like that idea. I
- 49:40know I got a lot of hell for naming my team. And you know
- 49:45what, you got that hell before I even started it. I will,
- 49:46I will do it. So I started dating your girl, which is causes
- 49:52ex girl. Wow, she and I start dating for a little bit.
- 49:54You're I'm very excited about the opportunity. It's totally cool with it. Okay,
- 50:00I'm very excited about the opportunity. Kim likes it because Kim can go
- 50:04work and there's somebody here to take care of the house. So it's great.
- 50:07And then what happens is I decide, listen, it's been real it's
- 50:10been fun, but it hasn't been real fun. You kind of have to
- 50:13go and cause says, hey, baby, I'll bring you back into my
- 50:16life. I got plenty of room here. Why don't you come back and
- 50:19join us? And she says, I'm an even bigger house than I have
- 50:22before, and all of the extra money that I've made, right and even
- 50:25then, I don't even have you on my list of guys I want to
- 50:29come back to. Now is there on the front lawn? Hold on,
- 50:30Let's just let's just move forward. Let's say she does go back with cause,
- 50:35are you jealous that she's going back to the guy? Nobody? Now?
- 50:39Well, I don't know, You're probably with some hot model. I
- 50:40don't. I have no idea. Or maybe it's a little bit more true
- 50:44to life. And it's just I would be upset if Damon went back to
- 50:45Red Sox. You would, I would be, Yeah, you would?
- 50:49I think so because I like Damon. You know, it took a while
- 50:52for him to grow on me as a Yankee fan, him being a form
- 50:53of red sock. But you know, I really enjoyed his work. I
- 50:55thought he should have been resigned. An I'm a big fan of Johnson Tim's
- 51:00I just don't get that. I do not get that. The team itself
- 51:04was the one who literally looked at you, Jeff Beck, and said,
- 51:06nah, we're not bringing Johnny. But I don't agree with a lot of
- 51:08the Yankee moves. Most of the time. I think I sounded the show
- 51:10and said, yes, that's very true. But at the same time,
- 51:15if the team didn't do what you wanted, how can you fault him for
- 51:20one in to go get a ring. I wouldn't fault him at all that
- 51:22sense. I would be upset that he went to the red Sock red Sock.
- 51:24But I want to be up that upset at him. No, I
- 51:28want to be up that upset that he uh that if he did in the
- 51:30off season this past year. Let me try it this way. If he
- 51:34came back here later on the season. I don't even know if the Red
- 51:37Socks go to Yankee Stadium again or not. I don't even know. But
- 51:38if he came back and went to the Yankee Stadium moves dressed as a red
- 51:42Sock, would you boo? Probably? I don't get that. It's the
- 51:47same thing. I wouldn't get up a cheater. I don't cheer red sock
- 51:52players. You know, it's the same thing. I didn't say he had
- 51:53to cheer him. You know. It's like if I asked if you would
- 51:57boot, wouldn't be that loud get a clarification if he if I'd be disappointed
- 52:04if he went to Tampa Bay obviously another I think and Tapa Bay came to
- 52:08town. Would you boo him if you were in a Yeah, definitely,
- 52:12I mean Tampa neck and neck right now the al Yeah, I would you
- 52:15boo him for going to Tampa Bay. I think blew the player that the
- 52:19team didn't resign, Yes, purpose purposefully. It's not that he spurned the
- 52:23Yankees to go make more money somewhere else. Allah what he did the Red
- 52:28Sox. You'd rather because after Detroit gives up on him, essentially because they
- 52:32gave up on their season, they tried to get something. I'm not I'm
- 52:35not faulting the guy for wanting to ring. Want to win a ring,
- 52:38right, but I'd be I'd be disappointed. So yeah, i'd boo him.
- 52:42Yeah, I'm not gonna go up to play standing ovation, so it
- 52:45would be a disappointment. Boom, It's it's anybody in the division. If
- 52:47he went to Toronto. I think the only time I had cheer from was
- 52:51if he was in an Oils Jersey. Okay, I just don't. I
- 52:53just don't. I don't get I don't get the booing him in this situation
- 52:55as a Yankee fan, but don't. Well, we may not ever come
- 53:00to an understanding or conclusion on that, but we do have an understanding conclusion
- 53:04that this show is going to wrap up in about eight minutes, and that
- 53:07we do have yet to get to Hayni's twits as well as giveaway one spot
- 53:12left, not one spot left, but one of the three spots left in
- 53:15the Wheelhouse Fantasy Football League. So here's what my thought is right now,
- 53:19if we can get everybody loaded up in calling three four seven two three seven
- 53:22fifty two oh three, what's going to happen is this Jeff Peck will be
- 53:25playing for one of you on the phone lines. I will be playing for
- 53:29the other one of you on the phone lines, will be hold on,
- 53:34I did pretty well last week. Will be We'll be winning a spot.
- 53:37So one of the two lines that we pick up will be winning a spot
- 53:42in the Wheelhouse Fantasy Baseball Baseball Football League. So cause when we read it
- 53:46roll, let's give the intro once again, and this is open it agaybody,
- 53:49anybody and everybody, Like last night Outlaw called in not not what I
- 53:52would consider to be an old time Wheelhouse fan. Don't have to be.
- 53:55There's no trivia questions, there's none of that. If you're listening right now,
- 53:59be your first time, or you like fantasy football or the fifty first
- 54:01time. This week, I gotta cost your money. Just want to play
- 54:06in the fantasy football league. That also should be a crucial element. Yeah,
- 54:07we're not get a T shirt that says cause rape metes. We're not
- 54:13wagering here. There's no money involved at least as far as you know.
- 54:16So give you this from last week. Would be happy to dish that out.
- 54:22Uh So, here's the deal. You gotta call that three four seven
- 54:25two three. That's all you have to do is call. If you call
- 54:30in, you've got a shot of being in the fantasy football league. Because
- 54:31Jeff is playing for one of you, I'm playing for another one of you.
- 54:36In this tonight's edition of Hey nice twits, twitter twitter twitter twitter twitter
- 54:42tweet twitter twitter twitter twitter twitter twitter nice twits. All right, this is
- 54:51a game where Cause has been patrolling and trolling all of the intranets to get
- 54:57you the actual twitters made by celebrities, athletes, and other people that we
- 55:01don't care about and generally make fun of uh that said he'll give us an
- 55:07actual Twitter. The job of myself and Jeff Peck is to guess which celebrity
- 55:12out of the four possible choices said that Twitter. If we get it right,
- 55:16then the point goes our direction. Right now, nobody's calling in.
- 55:20I tried to make this as easy as possible for everybody, did I not?
- 55:22Cause I said last night I would make it so easy. And it's
- 55:27not like nobody's listening because we had an awesome chat room tonight going for Terry
- 55:30Funk, right, adh L Jeter fan is gloating, Well, yeah,
- 55:35he's already in from last night. But he's already after last night. Yeah,
- 55:37so if this is a wrestling fantasy league, we would have been just
- 55:40rolling in people. Literally, all you have to do is fucking call three
- 55:45four seven two three seven point fifty two zero three one of the two of
- 55:50us, Jeff Pecker myself will be winning in this. And thus I've heard
- 55:54of listeners going to call our STFU line and sing, oh that has not
- 56:00shown up yet, necessary welcome to last week? Yeah, thank you?
- 56:04All right, cause let's get ready to roll here with Twitter number one.
- 56:08I think we should we should have the ability to remove someone from the league.
- 56:12Now, is that is that we're gonna do just some random somebody who
- 56:15had nothing to do with the cold fall on anyone? Yeah? About and
- 56:20I could pick I pick eighty eight? Wow? All right, here we
- 56:25go. I was bitching because I had to get my Bentley fixed. Then
- 56:31I said to myself, how the fucking you bitch about fixing a Bentley?
- 56:36Yo? What's up? Is that Rampage Jackson, Iced Tea? Ludicrous or
- 56:45P Diddy? Wow? That's hey, welcome to the sweet nasty Twitter account.
- 56:52P Diddy Wow? I like that? All right? So it's iced
- 56:55Tea, Rampage Jackson, P Diddy? And who was the other one?
- 57:00Ludicrous Luda? All right? Uh, Jeff Pack, I'm gonna go with
- 57:07Rampage Jackson. Do you think he's got a Bentley? Did make some good
- 57:10cash doing the UFC. You gotta figure he's got something, right, I
- 57:15say, one of the more reflective of the of that bunch is going to
- 57:22have to be Iced Tea. So we've got Rampage and iced tea, cause
- 57:25or either one of us correct on tweet number one. One of you is
- 57:30correct. As Michael Bower takes him one nothing lead. He's self reflective.
- 57:36Well, you know, ice Tea has just been arrested recently, so I
- 57:38feel like he's trying to do look at the bright side of numerous things.
- 57:42He's a glass half full tea? What right? Now? That was that
- 57:49motherfucking iced tea? Yes? He has, by the way, an amazing
- 57:52job that he did as the voiceover to the other guys. I just want
- 57:55to highlight that I didn't another all right, stop giving stuff away? He
- 58:00would? You just want to say, all right, here we go.
- 58:02You're gonna hurt just feelings after you totally just stiffed him. Twit Twit number
- 58:07two? Are you gonna cry now? Just with this music? Twit number
- 58:13two? Does anyone without a country accent love America? Oh? Good?
- 58:19Is that? Natasha Lagero, Sarah Silverman, Diablo Cody or chel Oh all
- 58:29right, I'm gonna go Diablo Cody on that one. Who's the first bitch?
- 58:34She's the girl who was the judge on last Comic Standing this year?
- 58:37That's her. Yeah, who's the first bitch? Very respectful? I wonder
- 58:43why you're not going man after Isaiah Thomas's part. I'm gonna go with Chelsea
- 58:47Chelsea Handler, Diablo, Cody Cause or either one of us correct a tweet
- 58:52number two, son of a big All right, I'm gonna go Natasha.
- 58:58You're gonna go Sarah? Yeah? Sure, okay, did I have a
- 59:00choice? No one of you is correct? Yes, we are so smart,
- 59:06and Bowers sweeps with the two nothing lead. Wow, Wow, amazing,
- 59:10isn't it? See it would have been that easy for somebody. If
- 59:13somebody had just called in, somebody could have been that would have been right
- 59:17there. Congratulations, you're taking up that eighth spot in the Wheelhouse Fantasy Football
- 59:22League. But no, no, now, you're just gonna make yourself work
- 59:25harder. I understand you want to challenge. Good for you. You got
- 59:29it. Tomorrow is what the fuck? Wednesday? Cause? Are you here?
- 59:31Are you have softball? Softball? All right? Jeff Peck and I
- 59:35will be here. We will also be joined by Gary Cannon, comedian stand
- 59:38up comedy comedy, and he also opens for Mitch as well as Ralphie May
- 59:43A couple of other people are thanks to Terry the Legend for the champ,
