- 0:23Speaker 1: what else would we be doing?
- 0:25Speaker 2: You're right, You're right. We did have a lot of
- 0:28Speaker 2: the cast on. It's really fun. All people that I
- 0:30Speaker 2: was like so excited to have, very excited. Is fact
- 0:33Speaker 2: back to back boom boom boom.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Yeah. Do you know what I think though? I feel
- 0:39Speaker 1: like perhaps people think that Scrubbing In is filled with
- 0:47Speaker 1: a lot of Dancing with the Stars of voters.
- 0:51Speaker 2: What is Oh so.
- 0:53Speaker 1: They saw that we had Jenna and Joey on and
- 0:55Speaker 1: they were like, uh uh not so fast. Yeah, I
- 1:00Speaker 1: think next week we'll get another duo. Wow, it's just
- 1:03Speaker 1: my prediction.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Who is who is it gonna be?
- 1:05Speaker 1: Not sure?
- 1:06Speaker 2: Who would you want it to be? Uh?
- 1:10Speaker 1: Jan and Sasha?
- 1:11Speaker 2: Interesting?
- 1:13Speaker 1: No any takers?
- 1:15Speaker 2: Well they're not on anymore? No?
- 1:17Speaker 1: Great? Even better?
- 1:18Speaker 3: Yeah yeah yeah we could.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Talk to them about their blooming relationship friendship. Yeah, I'd
- 1:25Speaker 2: like to have Alona.
- 1:26Speaker 1: I'd be down to have her, to love her.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I went to What's happened Since? I went to
- 1:32Speaker 2: Kawahi for my birthday, which was absolutely magical, Like, that's
- 1:39Speaker 2: just that place is a healer Hawaii.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Tell me it's just a healer, like.
- 1:44Speaker 2: You being outside and being by the ocean and the
- 1:49Speaker 2: trees and the flowers, and it rains and then the
- 1:52Speaker 2: sun comes out. It's very like cleansing. There's just something
- 1:55Speaker 2: like very I just think it's one of the most
- 1:58Speaker 2: magical places in the world.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Isn't It's so funny because when I think of Hawaii,
- 2:03Speaker 1: I associate Hawaii with you wo.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Yeah, me too, Yeah.
- 2:07Speaker 1: I really do, like I associate Hawaii which yeah wow
- 2:12Speaker 1: Mawana adjacent.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Yeah one is my favorite comfort movie.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Yeah, you know we should do for Halloween one year,
- 2:19Speaker 1: what Disney Princesses.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Oh, it'd be fun.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it'd be cute.
- 2:24Speaker 2: I didn't dress up. I was I this October flew
- 2:28Speaker 2: October will by so quickly that when it came to
- 2:32Speaker 2: my birthday, which is the second to last day of October,
- 2:35Speaker 2: I couldn't believe that I was already there, and I
- 2:38Speaker 2: was like, what have I done this month? That that
- 2:41Speaker 2: what did I do this month? So if they say
- 2:45Speaker 2: time flies and you're having fun, yes, but.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Also it goes faster the older you get. Oh really yeah,
- 2:50Speaker 1: Like I feel like everybody says, like when you're a kid,
- 2:53Speaker 1: a year feels like ten years, like you're like, oh, okay,
- 2:56Speaker 1: like I can't wait till Christmas an whole nother year,
- 2:59Speaker 1: and now like when you're an adult, it's like Christmas
- 3:01Speaker 1: is tomorrow all the time.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Yeah I did. I remember thinking like, oh, Christmas is
- 3:05Speaker 2: in six months, and then now it's.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Tomorrow around the corner, literally tomorrow.
- 3:09Speaker 2: And Easton celebrated his birthday as well. How was your birthday?
- 3:13Speaker 3: It was great. It was something happened in the nation
- 3:17Speaker 3: that was kind of made it a little weird, but
- 3:19Speaker 3: I can't remember what it was. Yeah, some was. My
- 3:23Speaker 3: birthday was on the sixth, the day after the fifth,
- 3:26Speaker 3: but uh, it was a nice time. Allison and I
- 3:28Speaker 3: went out to a steakhouse that we really like. We're
- 3:30Speaker 3: going to Palm Springs this weekend. I'm really excited. There's
- 3:32Speaker 3: a there's this hotel in Palm Springs that has a
- 3:34Speaker 3: boat in it, like a what's it called. It's the JW. Marriott,
- 3:39Speaker 3: like Desert Springs or something.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like I've seen this.
- 3:42Speaker 3: I think Robbie stayed there. He like hit Allison and
- 3:45Speaker 3: I have He's like stayed there.
- 3:47Speaker 1: He's gonna say, I feel like, Yeah.
- 3:50Speaker 3: They filmed an episode Saved by the Bell there, But
- 3:52Speaker 3: it's like they have this big like river that goes through, yeah,
- 3:55Speaker 3: like a big lake and it goes into the hotel
- 3:58Speaker 3: lobby and you can take a boat ride from the
- 4:00Speaker 3: lobby around the grounds.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Whoa.
- 4:03Speaker 3: And we went and took the boat rid a couple
- 4:04Speaker 3: of months ago, and then Allison surprised me. She's like,
- 4:06Speaker 3: we're staying there for the week. What you're going to
- 4:08Speaker 3: go on the boat ride?
- 4:09Speaker 2: Like four times lady joggle on the boat ride. And
- 4:10Speaker 2: when we were there filming the or doing the.
- 4:12Speaker 3: US, that was a different trip. We talked about we
- 4:16Speaker 3: wanted to take Sam with us.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Wait, that's so fun.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Very excited about that.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Yeah, returned the Palm Springs. Yeah, yeah, the season c yeah,
- 4:28Speaker 2: chills speaking.
- 4:29Speaker 1: About Actually texted Serena Carpenter the other day.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Did she were spelling?
- 4:32Speaker 1: She shir did?
- 4:33Speaker 3: Wow what she's saying?
- 4:34Speaker 1: I mean, it was just like cute like I was like,
- 4:35Speaker 1: I can't believe we're playing one of your songs every
- 4:37Speaker 1: fifteen minutes, Like I know it works so hard for this,
- 4:39Speaker 1: and she was like sent like crying emoji's and said,
- 4:41Speaker 1: thank you so much. Yeah, I know I.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Didn't know you how to remember. We really could have
- 4:45Speaker 2: reached out person.
- 4:46Speaker 1: I had it. I forgot I had it, but like
- 4:49Speaker 1: if you will not remember back in twenty sixteen or whatever,
- 4:53Speaker 1: we interviewed her with a ton on this podcast. She
- 4:56Speaker 1: I interviewed her for like a ton of stuff with Radio.
- 4:59Speaker 1: I like they flew me to New York to like
- 5:01Speaker 1: host her thing. I was like, Serena Carpenter's like Mamager.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:07Speaker 3: There was one point on American Top forty we needed
- 5:09Speaker 3: a guest host at the last minute, and Sabrina Carpenter
- 5:12Speaker 3: came on Christmas Eve and recorded it with us on
- 5:16Speaker 3: her way to like her dad's house to celebrate, And
- 5:18Speaker 3: I was like, man, she's she's the best.
- 5:20Speaker 1: She's a loyal iHeart, yeah, but like she's been grinding,
- 5:24Speaker 1: like she's been working so hard for so long, and
- 5:28Speaker 1: that's like just crazy now that we play one of
- 5:30Speaker 1: her songs literally every fifteen minutes.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Yeah, that's crazy. Yeah, podcast like three times.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Yeah, because I was like, I was like, I want
- 5:38Speaker 1: to have spreen again. We'll have Spreena again. She was
- 5:40Speaker 1: Sabriena again.
- 5:41Speaker 2: It's like when you when you're past it on the floor,
- 5:43Speaker 2: It's like, why not have her again so you can
- 5:45Speaker 2: remember it, you know, and take it in. Yeah, it's
- 5:48Speaker 2: like what you just got to keep trying. Sonny speaking
- 5:53Speaker 2: of speaking of being on the ground from a skinny
- 5:57Speaker 2: spicy Margarita, Sonny soelebrated her twenty first.
- 6:01Speaker 1: She did, my baby is twenty one. Can you believe it?
- 6:07Speaker 1: I'm so young to have twenty one year old. Yeah,
- 6:11Speaker 1: it's crazy, crazy. Everybody was a huge party. Yeah, and
- 6:16Speaker 1: everybody was messaging me like I can't believe you didn't
- 6:18Speaker 1: invite Phoebe. I'm like, why would I not invite Phoebe?
- 6:22Speaker 2: Just like people were like, I can't believe you didn't
- 6:24Speaker 2: invite Twny onto Hawaii. Yeah, I'm like, of.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Course, like what no. But however, usually when you've been
- 6:31Speaker 1: out of town in the past, Phoebe says, with our
- 6:34Speaker 1: mutual friend.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Who brings her brings her.
- 6:37Speaker 4: So but that unfortunately it was hard to go to
- 6:42Speaker 4: the sitter who's only watching me once to be like, hey,
- 6:45Speaker 4: would you mind packing her up and taking her to
- 6:47Speaker 4: Beverly Hills for my friend's dogs twenty first birthday party?
- 6:52Speaker 3: Just go to a birthday party. Yeah, that'd be great.
- 6:57Speaker 2: I can add on a fee for that time for
- 7:00Speaker 2: the drive.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Because pebe you thought about it.
- 7:03Speaker 2: I didn't. I was just I literally did not think
- 7:05Speaker 2: about it. But I was laughing thinking about how would
- 7:08Speaker 2: I even she would be like this girl's crazy, okay,
- 7:12Speaker 2: but I'd be like, not as crazy as the girl
- 7:15Speaker 2: party she's going to.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Okay, first of all, you think it's crazy, but the
- 7:20Speaker 1: amount of dms that I get from people with dogs
- 7:23Speaker 1: who have passed saying celebrate your dog now, like just
- 7:29Speaker 1: do it all now because it's fleeting and it makes
- 7:32Speaker 1: me so emotional, and I'm like, you know what, I
- 7:34Speaker 1: damn I'm going to I thought for a while that
- 7:37Speaker 1: I was like, Okay, I'm gonna do a big one
- 7:38Speaker 1: for her first, and then I wasn't really gonna do
- 7:40Speaker 1: anything for a second. But then her third or twenty
- 7:42Speaker 1: first was like a rager, and then like they'll get
- 7:43Speaker 1: smaller as the years go on, and I'm like, they're
- 7:46Speaker 1: gonna get bigger and bigger.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Alie asked if I purposely planned my birthday trip around
- 7:51Speaker 2: Sunny's Worth and I don't know. I was like, but
- 7:55Speaker 2: I can't.
- 7:55Speaker 1: I'm sorry, participatingly comes. Does she not enjoy it?
- 7:58Speaker 2: No, she didn't enjoy it, but she goes, have you
- 8:01Speaker 2: ever been to one of these? And I was like, no,
- 8:02Speaker 2: they're during my birthday?
- 8:04Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, but Phoebe has attended.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Phoebe has been there with a yea yeaheah. So but yeah,
- 8:10Speaker 2: I'm like, I sorry, I will not sacrifice my birthday
- 8:15Speaker 2: trip with my.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Love, nor do I ask you. But that tone in
- 8:19Speaker 1: which Ali asks you, that makes me feel like.
- 8:21Speaker 2: She doesn't enjoy So no, no, no, no, no, she had
- 8:23Speaker 2: a great time. She's been two years in a row.
- 8:25Speaker 1: I know.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:27Speaker 1: So the best part is so I invited Carissa Stanton,
- 8:31Speaker 1: who is Brought your Body on Instagram, and I'm now,
- 8:34Speaker 1: I'm one hundred percent sure that she thought you were
- 8:36Speaker 1: going to be there because she knew no one at
- 8:40Speaker 1: this party and I barely know her. We've had her
- 8:42Speaker 1: on the podcast and I follow her on Instagram and
- 8:44Speaker 1: she's so keep But the minute she got her dog,
- 8:46Speaker 1: I was like, oh, my gosh, like, Benny should come
- 8:49Speaker 1: to Sunny's birthday this year, and this was like six
- 8:52Speaker 1: months out from her birthday, but I remembered that brock
- 8:56Speaker 1: your body was very excited. Yeah, and so I invited
- 8:59Speaker 1: her and she came, but like literally didn't know a
- 9:02Speaker 1: single person there, and uh, I think they had a
- 9:06Speaker 1: good time. But she she was like, is Becca coming.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I was like, no, she's out of town for her
- 9:10Speaker 1: birthday and she's.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Like, oh yeah. I can't imagine going to a child's
- 9:15Speaker 2: birthday and not knowing anyone, much less a dog birthday
- 9:19Speaker 2: and not knowing people. I'd be like, oh, thank you,
- 9:24Speaker 2: I have to run after thirty minutes.
- 9:26Speaker 1: No, I think they really enjoyed themselves. And she brought
- 9:29Speaker 1: her husband, Corey Rager. It was a rager and the
- 9:31Speaker 1: dogs all got along really well.
- 9:35Speaker 2: I honestly felt like Phoebe's coloring would have ruined the
- 9:37Speaker 2: aesthetic because they were all like.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Tans, yeah, yeah, yeah, correct.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Just she's she stands out over where she goes.
- 9:46Speaker 1: But that's what Phoebe does.
- 9:47Speaker 2: She's a standout.
- 9:48Speaker 1: She's a standout. Yeah.
- 9:51Speaker 2: So yeah, that was.
- 9:53Speaker 3: The videos of everyone were trying to take the picture.
- 9:56Speaker 3: It's like I think you had the spoon of peanut butter.
- 9:58Speaker 3: I watched that like ten times.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Like literally we are doing that for solid ten minutes,
- 10:04Speaker 1: like ever trying to get the shot for a good
- 10:06Speaker 1: ten minutes. I'm like, okay, everybody take your spoon with
- 10:08Speaker 1: peanut butter, and everyone had their dogs sit and stay,
- 10:11Speaker 1: and it's just like total mayhem.
- 10:13Speaker 2: It's so hard, like it's it's so hard to get
- 10:16Speaker 2: two dogs to look at the camera. I was like
- 10:19Speaker 2: felt the stretch from all the parents, like behave, don't
- 10:25Speaker 2: embarrass me.
- 10:26Speaker 1: I think next year I want to get a portrait
- 10:29Speaker 1: person to come and take pictures of everyone with the
- 10:32Speaker 1: dog in their owner, like a nice one you like
- 10:35Speaker 1: a Christmas card type thing.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Yeah right, yeah, I can't wait to see what you
- 10:40Speaker 2: do for your children.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Everybody says when you have kids that the dogs go
- 10:47Speaker 1: to the they don't get as much attention.
- 10:50Speaker 2: So sad. I think it's just like there's.
- 10:53Speaker 1: So much you don'tly have so much capacity.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I just can't even imagine, like Phoebe is my
- 10:58Speaker 2: everything or that too everything.
- 11:01Speaker 1: I know. I tell Sonny too, until you have a baby.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Well I'm not in that position. So if he's gonna
- 11:09Speaker 2: be my queen for a long time. Any wedding updates
- 11:13Speaker 2: that you can give to the number.
- 11:15Speaker 1: No wedding updates, not a.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Single wedding update. No jeez, we're getting close. Yeah, but
- 11:22Speaker 2: we do have dear Bondiard questions we do. Oh wait
- 11:24Speaker 2: before we move on from Halloween, because you and Robbie
- 11:28Speaker 2: dressed up, and Robbie really really dressed up. Okay, I've
- 11:33Speaker 2: never seen someone make heels look so uncomfortable in my
- 11:39Speaker 2: entire life.
- 11:40Speaker 1: By the way, those were two inch heels. Those are
- 11:42Speaker 1: not even like three or four. They were kittens, and
- 11:45Speaker 1: he was romping around it and so uncomfortable.
- 11:48Speaker 2: I felt like he also made his walk. He was
- 11:50Speaker 2: trying to make his walk a little more masculine, so
- 11:53Speaker 2: it felt like he was really making them.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Look So the dress that I gave him has like, uh,
- 12:00Speaker 1: a bodysuit built into it, so he was not prepared
- 12:04Speaker 1: when he got into that dress for what he was
- 12:07Speaker 1: going to experience all night. And it wasn't a song.
- 12:10Speaker 1: It was like a full full but luckily for him,
- 12:13Speaker 1: but the whole outfit was just like a lot and
- 12:17Speaker 1: he was like constantly pulling up the tube top. It
- 12:19Speaker 1: was just like a lot.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Yeah, did he have some Like he was not graceful
- 12:24Speaker 2: with my lipstick, like at all.
- 12:26Speaker 1: If I showed you the lipstick tube, it's like literally
- 12:29Speaker 1: like crooked now because he just like used it like chapstick.
- 12:32Speaker 1: He was just like.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Like a little grace Yeah, yeah, have some finesse. Really.
- 12:42Speaker 1: But it was so fun because I feel like we
- 12:44Speaker 1: wanted to do Ryan and Banna, but we felt if
- 12:46Speaker 1: we just did it whatever, the like I'm being Vana,
- 12:51Speaker 1: he being so boring, so boring. Yeah, so we had
- 12:53Speaker 1: to flip it on it.
- 12:55Speaker 2: I just appreciate him going for it. I did too.
- 12:58Speaker 2: I'm trying to figure out if him is Vanna or
- 13:00Speaker 2: him as Ken with that scary wig was worse because
- 13:04Speaker 2: the Ken wig lives like written free in my head.
- 13:06Speaker 1: Yeah, if I'm gonna be honest, I think his favorite
- 13:09Speaker 1: was being Travis.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Yeah, because that was it was almost like him is
- 13:12Speaker 2: like edgy.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Yeah, he's like next year I want tattoos. I was like, okay, yeah,
- 13:16Speaker 1: he deserves it. I'll give it to him.
- 13:20Speaker 2: You're like your cat bondiets.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Okay, but I didn't tell you we're gonna be the
- 13:26Speaker 1: hocus Pocus whitches.
- 13:29Speaker 2: So sisters were so good, so good. Also, we watched
- 13:34Speaker 2: that movie on Halloween, like in Hawaii, and I remember
- 13:38Speaker 2: watching that so young. It's really scary at the beginning. Yeah,
- 13:42Speaker 2: they're like sucking the soul from a little girl. Like
- 13:45Speaker 2: it's really dark. Watching it as an adult, I.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Was like, I watched that movie like that is my
- 13:50Speaker 1: go to Halloween movie. I watch it on repeat every season.
- 13:54Speaker 1: I feel like I've been doing that since I was
- 13:56Speaker 1: like a fetus.
- 13:57Speaker 2: It's so good.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, say the night before Christmas for Christmas, I.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Will not be watching that at any point of the year.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Okay, we don't have to go there again.
- 14:10Speaker 2: But yeah, no, here's the thing. Most people agree with you.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Most people love it. Most people find it trag.
- 14:15Speaker 1: I listened to on Halloween.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't be great.
- 14:21Speaker 1: I love that movie.
- 14:24Speaker 2: So we have some deer Bonnier questions. Easton is going
- 14:29Speaker 2: to read. But first we're gonna take a break, so
- 14:31Speaker 2: we'll be right back. All right, we are back, so Easton,
- 14:50Speaker 2: We're just gonna take off right now in the dear Bonnie.
- 14:56Speaker 3: Wow, was that a car crash or plane taking out?
- 15:00Speaker 1: Supposed to be a plane taking.
- 15:03Speaker 3: All right, Well, now that this bird's in the air.
- 15:05Speaker 3: Dear Bania, Mark and Easton. First, just want to say
- 15:08Speaker 3: that I've been a Day one listener and look forward
- 15:10Speaker 3: to the pod every week. The very same day of
- 15:12Speaker 3: the podcast came out seven years ago, on September fourteenth,
- 15:15Speaker 3: was the day my husband and I made our relationship official.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Wow, We've now been married for two and a half years.
- 15:20Speaker 3: We're expecting our first baby in December. Congratulations. This is Oh,
- 15:24Speaker 3: this is Madeline. I should say sorry, congratulations Madeline. Our
- 15:28Speaker 3: baby will be our third, the third grandchild on my
- 15:30Speaker 3: husband's side, so my in laws have been grandparents for
- 15:33Speaker 3: six years already. Instead of Grandpa, my father in law
- 15:35Speaker 3: goes by the name Daddy Joe. He goes by this
- 15:38Speaker 3: because he has the same name as his grandpa and
- 15:40Speaker 3: that's what he called his grandfather. He's also Southern, so
- 15:42Speaker 3: this is apparently a souther thing. But I hate it.
- 15:45Speaker 3: I think it's creepy to call him daddy. He himself
- 15:47Speaker 3: is not creepy, don't worry, but I just think that
- 15:49Speaker 3: our baby should save the name daddy for his own
- 15:51Speaker 3: dad aka my husband. I'm trying hard to avoid my
- 15:55Speaker 3: children calling him this. For the record, my husband doesn't
- 15:57Speaker 3: like it either, but my father in law is incredibly
- 15:59Speaker 3: stubb in a conversation would probably not go well. So
- 16:02Speaker 3: my husband feels that we are likely stuck with this.
- 16:05Speaker 3: I have toyed around with the idea of just not
- 16:06Speaker 3: acknowledging it directly and referring to him as Granddaddy Joe
- 16:09Speaker 3: or maybe Grandpy Joe. Do you have any other suggestions
- 16:12Speaker 3: on how to handle this? Am I over reacting? What
- 16:14Speaker 3: are your thoughts?
- 16:15Speaker 2: Help? I personally don't love Daddy Joe.
- 16:19Speaker 1: He literally makes skin crawl.
- 16:23Speaker 2: I think that you maybe talk when you're with your kids,
- 16:28Speaker 2: you you refer to him as what you want to
- 16:30Speaker 2: refer to him as, and then they're gonna call him not.
- 16:35Speaker 2: And I think that I mean, really reference how often
- 16:40Speaker 2: I mean, I guess very often what very often they're
- 16:44Speaker 2: saying their name huh?
- 16:45Speaker 1: Because I think of it as like my step kids
- 16:48Speaker 1: and their grandpa, and how much they refer to him
- 16:51Speaker 1: as his name, Maybe they.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Can come up. I think it's like, hey, we really
- 16:56Speaker 2: want our kids to have their own nickname for you
- 16:58Speaker 2: that's special to them, and like that that means something
- 17:01Speaker 2: to them, and you'll come up with something together.
- 17:03Speaker 1: So she's saying that the conversation wouldn't go well. So
- 17:06Speaker 1: I think you backdoor it. And she's sort of only pregnant, right,
- 17:10Speaker 1: she says she's pregnant, so the baby's not even here yet.
- 17:14Speaker 1: So I think what you can do is on the
- 17:15Speaker 1: baby's learning names, you can have them call daddy Joe
- 17:20Speaker 1: DJ and come up like have like teach the kid DJ.
- 17:24Speaker 1: There's DJ, and then it's like your kid's own version
- 17:28Speaker 1: of daddy Joe that they came up with on their
- 17:30Speaker 1: own and it's so cute. Oh my gosh, she calls you,
- 17:33Speaker 1: I don't know what they call you DJ.
- 17:36Speaker 2: How cute is that? I think that might be the
- 17:39Speaker 2: best advice, thank you, because I would avoid Daddy Joe with.
- 17:43Speaker 1: All I have in me, everything in me. Daddy Joe
- 17:47Speaker 1: makes my skin it no disrespect.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Is probably great, But Daddy Joe the name I don't
- 17:58Speaker 2: want my I don't don't want my child referring calling
- 18:02Speaker 2: anyone daddy Joe. No unless no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 18:09Speaker 2: unless it's Jill Biden.
- 18:12Speaker 3: She's the only one that can do.
- 18:13Speaker 1: It exactly where my head was. Yeah, So that's I
- 18:17Speaker 1: think the best path of the best solution here is
- 18:21Speaker 1: DJ yeah, and then it's just the kid came up
- 18:24Speaker 1: with it, and.
- 18:25Speaker 2: If he has an issue with it, I think it's
- 18:27Speaker 2: just like, hey, we wanted to.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Take it on. Then Daddy Joe can take it up
- 18:30Speaker 1: with the kid.
- 18:30Speaker 2: That's right.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Yeah, Daddy Joe.
- 18:33Speaker 2: You let your kid handle it, not text it. Write
- 18:38Speaker 2: us back in three years, let us know how that goes.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Yeah. I think it's a flawless plan if you ask me.
- 18:44Speaker 2: But here's the thing. I'm with you. We see you,
- 18:47Speaker 2: we hear you, and we wish you the best.
- 18:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Yikes, all right.
- 18:52Speaker 3: This one's from anonymous. I have a coworker who I've
- 18:54Speaker 3: worked with for worked with virtually for some time. We
- 18:58Speaker 3: see them more regularly in the office. Said coworker has
- 19:02Speaker 3: on more than one occasion, had an odor general sweaty,
- 19:05Speaker 3: musty type of smell. Said coworker is also pregnant. As
- 19:08Speaker 3: someone who's recently pregnant myself, I know hormones can get
- 19:11Speaker 3: you all out of whack. Plus my sense of smell
- 19:13Speaker 3: is definitely heightened. I was personally very paranoid about smelling
- 19:16Speaker 3: bad and told my boss to let me know if
- 19:18Speaker 3: I ever stink. This coworker has not asked for that
- 19:20Speaker 3: type of feedback. I don't know her super well outside
- 19:22Speaker 3: the office, but well at the office. Question do I
- 19:25Speaker 3: say anything? Wait until after she has the baby to
- 19:28Speaker 3: see if this is still an issue. Keep my mouth
- 19:29Speaker 3: shut unless asked, and try to keep my nose shut too.
- 19:32Speaker 3: Thanks to the advice and the light you guys bring,
- 19:34Speaker 3: this podcast always has me laughing out loud. Thank you,
- 19:37Speaker 3: ps Rebecca. I was talking about shoes with another coworker
- 19:39Speaker 3: and they said, I need a slimmer, silhouetted sneaker. I'll
- 19:42Speaker 3: of the Adida samba. I'm wearing sambas right now. All
- 19:45Speaker 3: I could think about was Ali sash Randy saying he
- 19:48Speaker 3: liked a slim afoot.
- 19:52Speaker 2: I don't think you say anything. I think that she's
- 19:56Speaker 2: probably the last thing she wants to hear about is
- 19:58Speaker 2: that she smells bad from someone else Like that would
- 20:01Speaker 2: just be the icing on the cake tip of the iceberg.
- 20:03Speaker 2: If I was in an uncomfortable pregnancy, not feeling.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Great, if I was walking around stanky, I would want
- 20:12Speaker 1: someone to tell me.
- 20:13Speaker 2: I know, but you would. You're you're verbally saying that,
- 20:17Speaker 2: so I would feel comfortable saying something to you because
- 20:20Speaker 2: you're saying I would want someone to tell me, but
- 20:22Speaker 2: she hasn't heard this.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not going around my office telling everybody, Hey,
- 20:25Speaker 1: if I smell, please let me know.
- 20:28Speaker 2: I know that I'm saying. Maybe she said it to
- 20:30Speaker 2: someone else that she like let me know, but she
- 20:33Speaker 2: hasn't said it to anonymous, So I don't know if
- 20:36Speaker 2: it's not like I mean, maybe there's.
- 20:38Speaker 1: A way an anonymous no, like she doesn't you need
- 20:41Speaker 1: to need to tell her to her face, Like that's
- 20:43Speaker 1: such an awkward conversation. Hey, you kind of smell like
- 20:46Speaker 1: I don't know what the smell is or sweaty mussy,
- 20:49Speaker 1: so me like, it's such an awkward thing to say
- 20:52Speaker 1: to somebody, like do you worry dooder? Are you trying
- 20:53Speaker 1: a new dude?
- 20:54Speaker 2: Or like what if what if she was she's been
- 20:56Speaker 2: pregnant before, so what if she was like, how have
- 20:58Speaker 2: your pregnancy symptoms been been? Like have you had anything?
- 21:01Speaker 2: And then if she's like, oh, like what were yours?
- 21:03Speaker 2: And she could just be like, oh, mine, Like I
- 21:04Speaker 2: felt like my nose was out of whack and I
- 21:06Speaker 2: was just like my hormones changed. I felt like I
- 21:08Speaker 2: there was like a smell And if she's like oh,
- 21:12Speaker 2: like I contrived?
- 21:13Speaker 1: That is so contrived? Are you joking me? I could
- 21:17Speaker 1: see right through that. No, leave an anonymous note.
- 21:21Speaker 2: You stink?
- 21:22Speaker 1: Not you stink? But like, what is the note I
- 21:26Speaker 1: would want?
- 21:26Speaker 2: Like?
- 21:27Speaker 1: I would want to know there's been a pungent smell,
- 21:32Speaker 1: like and I don't know.
- 21:35Speaker 2: What it is.
- 21:37Speaker 1: I didn't want to embarrass you by saying anything, but
- 21:39Speaker 1: I want to help you.
- 21:41Speaker 2: What if you said, I'm looking for a new deodorant,
- 21:44Speaker 2: do you have one that you love?
- 21:46Speaker 3: And then she's, oh my god, that's what I've been forgetting.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think that's gonna go over as well
- 21:51Speaker 1: as you.
- 21:52Speaker 2: I have a perfume, Like, I've been looking for a perfume.
- 21:55Speaker 2: What do you? What's your go to a.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Lot of people don't wear perfume because of the endocrime disruptors.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Maybe she's not wearing theodorant for the same reason, and
- 22:03Speaker 2: or she's wearing a natural Those.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Are does work, okay if you get the right ones
- 22:12Speaker 1: saltan stone.
- 22:13Speaker 2: No, yeah, you still have to have the right like pheromones.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, they do stop working after a while.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Do I smell?
- 22:26Speaker 2: I'm anonymous?
- 22:27Speaker 1: I'm like.
- 22:29Speaker 3: Something, I have a podcast there for a lunch time.
- 22:32Speaker 1: Are you telling me something? No, I think I can
- 22:34Speaker 1: tell when my natural deodorant like stops working.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's good.
- 22:38Speaker 1: I think I'm self aware enough.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I I have a hard time because I've never
- 22:42Speaker 2: been pregnant. So I imagine when you're pregnant, if if
- 22:45Speaker 2: your like hormones are all disruptive and your nose isn't
- 22:47Speaker 2: like we're I don't know, like or you're just maybe
- 22:50Speaker 2: she's just like I don't care, like I know I smell.
- 22:54Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Sorry, I mean, I've had a stinky coworker in the past.
- 23:03Speaker 2: How'd you handle it?
- 23:04Speaker 1: Didn't tell him?
- 23:05Speaker 2: There you go?
- 23:06Speaker 1: No, no note left, no note left. Nope, this was
- 23:10Speaker 1: a different type of smell.
- 23:12Speaker 2: I think after she's not pregnant any you know I
- 23:16Speaker 2: feel about that. Yeah, I think after she's not pregnant anymore,
- 23:20Speaker 2: maybe if you're still smelling it, maybe you can leave
- 23:24Speaker 2: a note or have a conversation.
- 23:26Speaker 1: Does pregnancy really make you smell?
- 23:28Speaker 2: It's yeah, changes all your like horrible everything.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Yeah, that's so crazy.
- 23:33Speaker 2: So I think maybe I just am like worried that.
- 23:36Speaker 2: I mean, she just I feel like she's probably got
- 23:39Speaker 2: a lot going on and is emotional, and she's at work,
- 23:42Speaker 2: and I just don't know if it's the time to
- 23:44Speaker 2: like bring up that.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I think I retract my anonymous letter.
- 23:50Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, until after she's had the child.
- 23:53Speaker 3: Correct, So yeah, look back with us after this child's born.
- 23:58Speaker 3: Let's see what we can do. Here's another one from anonymous.
- 24:00Speaker 3: I beck Antanya. I've been listening to you for years
- 24:03Speaker 3: and you always brighten my day when I listen. I
- 24:05Speaker 3: started dating my boyfriend in January. We've been together this
- 24:08Speaker 3: whole year, but we took a break back in August
- 24:10Speaker 3: after I broke up with him. He showed up drunk
- 24:12Speaker 3: at my place one night. But this was on top
- 24:14Speaker 3: of other things that were building up and basically giving
- 24:16Speaker 3: me the ick, like re wearing dirty clothes because he's
- 24:19Speaker 3: too lazy to do his laundry in the basement of
- 24:21Speaker 3: his apartment building. He also has a five year old
- 24:23Speaker 3: daughter that he has most nights and weekends, so he's
- 24:26Speaker 3: super busy being a dad, but the laundry thing was
- 24:28Speaker 3: grossing me out. He also wouldn't let me come to
- 24:31Speaker 3: his place all summer because it was too messy and
- 24:32Speaker 3: he was too lazy. To clean up for me. After
- 24:34Speaker 3: I broke up with him, he saw me on hinge
- 24:36Speaker 3: and reached out, so we got back together. Things have
- 24:38Speaker 3: been really great for the most part. I met his
- 24:40Speaker 3: family and also met his daughter. He even told me
- 24:42Speaker 3: he loves me for the first time. So a lot
- 24:44Speaker 3: has happened since getting back together. He's gone out of
- 24:46Speaker 3: his way to invite me to his place and keeps
- 24:48Speaker 3: it super clean and does his laundry, so he's putting
- 24:50Speaker 3: it in the effort. The thing is, although I do
- 24:52Speaker 3: love him and I'm happy, I don't think he's my person.
- 24:55Speaker 3: He's a great guy. I fully trust him, which is
- 24:57Speaker 3: hard for me, but he doesn't have any ambition. We
- 24:59Speaker 3: also seem to. I have different morals. I like to
- 25:01Speaker 3: follow the rules where he likes to bend them. I
- 25:03Speaker 3: don't know if these are pet peeves that can be changed,
- 25:05Speaker 3: or if it's just going to be who he is
- 25:07Speaker 3: forever and I'm sabotaging the potential. Thanks for your help,
- 25:10Speaker 3: Love you all.
- 25:13Speaker 2: I don't think he's your person.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Oh oh oh yeah, wow, straight to that.
- 25:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I just don't. I don't think. I think that
- 25:20Speaker 2: you can find people that make you happy enough to
- 25:23Speaker 2: where you're not alone. But I don't find that you're
- 25:25Speaker 2: excited about this guy at all.
- 25:28Speaker 1: See, I feel like it's really hard to find people
- 25:30Speaker 1: that you get along with and that you click with.
- 25:35Speaker 1: And I feel like you're unsure right now, which is fine,
- 25:39Speaker 1: But I feel like when you're sure, you're sure, like
- 25:41Speaker 1: you broke up with him already once, like you are sure,
- 25:44Speaker 1: So I feel like, wait till you're sure before you
- 25:46Speaker 1: break up with him.
- 25:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I just feel like you don't. You just said
- 25:51Speaker 2: I don't think he's my person, and it's like we're
- 25:53Speaker 2: not getting any younger, so.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Oh yeah, if he doesn't speak for yourself. Also, do
- 26:00Speaker 1: you want over here?
- 26:01Speaker 3: I'm scanning this again, and I don't see anything she
- 26:03Speaker 3: likes about him.
- 26:04Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. She's like, Oh, he's cleaning for me,
- 26:07Speaker 2: which it's nice that he's putting in the effort, but
- 26:09Speaker 2: beyond that, it doesn't feel like you are excited about
- 26:12Speaker 2: him or any qualities that he has. So I think
- 26:14Speaker 2: you just go, hey, we tried it again. He's a
- 26:17Speaker 2: great guy, but we're he's not my He's not the
- 26:19Speaker 2: great guy for me.
- 26:21Speaker 3: Yeah. The only improvement from after you broke over with
- 26:24Speaker 3: him is that he started doing his laundry.
- 26:28Speaker 2: He lift the bar off the floor.
- 26:30Speaker 1: The fact that he has a child and he doesn't
- 26:32Speaker 1: want to do his laundry is scary.
- 26:35Speaker 3: It's concerning.
- 26:36Speaker 2: Yeah, were so s?
- 26:43Speaker 3: Yeah, break up with him immediately, That's what I.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Let's take a break because we have two more and
- 26:49Speaker 2: then we'll be right back. Then wait, coming up, best
- 26:54Speaker 2: friend ickes this, you too know. I save myself for
- 26:59Speaker 2: one email for Dearmona. All right, we're back, so we
- 27:18Speaker 2: have I think two more emails to get to. But
- 27:22Speaker 2: this one is best friend ick.
- 27:25Speaker 3: That's right, we just heard a boyfriend ick. Now we
- 27:28Speaker 3: got a best friend iic. This is from Jocelyn. My
- 27:31Speaker 3: best friend and I have known each other for ten years.
- 27:33Speaker 3: We're in our late twenties. She recently started dating a
- 27:35Speaker 3: new guy and got a new job all around the
- 27:37Speaker 3: same time, which is great. Life changes are fun and
- 27:39Speaker 3: exciting and I want to be there to support her.
- 27:41Speaker 3: But she has to mention the new job all the time.
- 27:45Speaker 3: It is constantly the only thing she talks about. This
- 27:47Speaker 3: is on top of some other inconsiderate mannerism she has
- 27:50Speaker 3: in group settings, and it's given me the ick. I
- 27:53Speaker 3: try to set my own boundaries, like not hanging out
- 27:55Speaker 3: one on one and only group events, so I haven't
- 27:57Speaker 3: needed to see her as much to give us a
- 27:59Speaker 3: little space. But even when she texts me, I get
- 28:01Speaker 3: this irol feeling because of course the job is always
- 28:04Speaker 3: part of it. We have some personality differences now versus
- 28:07Speaker 3: when we met in college, where I don't think she's
- 28:09Speaker 3: the kind of person I would be as close with
- 28:11Speaker 3: if we met as adults. We've been friends for so long,
- 28:13Speaker 3: I feel obligated to stay invested. But what can I
- 28:15Speaker 3: do is this is our friendship doomed? Do I talk
- 28:17Speaker 3: to her about these issues? Am I just an unsupportive ahole? Thanks? Ladies,
- 28:21Speaker 3: Love you. EXO Joscelyn Psocell is my drunk bar name,
- 28:24Speaker 3: so you can read that instead of being anonymous.
- 28:27Speaker 2: I like that. That's cool her alter ego. Yeah, I'm
- 28:32Speaker 2: torn on this one.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Oh tell us how you feel? Well.
- 28:35Speaker 2: I just think that sometimes we meet people at a
- 28:37Speaker 2: certain stage in our life, and then as you get older,
- 28:41Speaker 2: there's sometimes where you just grow apart. Like I feel
- 28:44Speaker 2: like sometimes it's just like you don't align on the
- 28:46Speaker 2: things that you used to align with. And I don't
- 28:48Speaker 2: think it's that anyone did anything wrong. Like, I don't
- 28:51Speaker 2: think that your friend talking about her new job is
- 28:55Speaker 2: the underlying issue here. I think it's a symptom of
- 29:00Speaker 2: and already like set in mindset that she has where
- 29:05Speaker 2: it's just like, we're not the same people we were
- 29:07Speaker 2: when we met, and we haven't grown together, we've grown apart,
- 29:10Speaker 2: and so now everything she does feels annoying because you've
- 29:14Speaker 2: already set in your mind that you've grown apart. That's
- 29:17Speaker 2: how I think, And I think it's worth I mean,
- 29:19Speaker 2: I don't think it's like worth just throwing it away
- 29:22Speaker 2: without having a conversation, But I do think it's important
- 29:25Speaker 2: to address things that you're struggling with, because then I
- 29:28Speaker 2: think it's out on the table. And if y'all do
- 29:31Speaker 2: grow to a point where you're not best friends anymore,
- 29:34Speaker 2: it's like we tried and I communicated with her, and
- 29:37Speaker 2: this wasn't just like I threw in the towel on
- 29:40Speaker 2: something that was really important to me.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I took it at surface level of
- 29:44Speaker 1: just like somebody like not being socially aware of just
- 29:47Speaker 1: like saying the same you know, talking about the same
- 29:49Speaker 1: thing over and over again, because I feel like I
- 29:51Speaker 1: have to catch myself because I'm like, I can't just
- 29:53Speaker 1: like text my friends every little freakin detail because it's
- 29:56Speaker 1: so many details. So like I catch myself doing that
- 29:58Speaker 1: because I'm trying to be more socially aware. So like,
- 30:01Speaker 1: maybe your friend just isn't socially aware and like this
- 30:04Speaker 1: is just what's consuming her right now because it is
- 30:06Speaker 1: like a new job and it's top of mind and
- 30:07Speaker 1: there's so much going on. It's like your job essentially
- 30:10Speaker 1: is your life. You know, you spend more hours at
- 30:12Speaker 1: your job than you do at your home. So it's
- 30:14Speaker 1: like maybe she just isn't aware that she's like being annoying.
- 30:16Speaker 1: If you don't address it, you don't tell her it's annoying.
- 30:18Speaker 2: Right, doesn't say I think it's worth having a conversation.
- 30:21Speaker 2: But I also think because it is such a surface
- 30:23Speaker 2: level thing, it makes me think there's a deeper rooted
- 30:27Speaker 2: issue in the friendship that it's like that is causing
- 30:31Speaker 2: so much something so simple is causing so much distress
- 30:35Speaker 2: and it.
- 30:35Speaker 3: Yeah, it would it be something else, right, Yeah.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Like it would. Just I think you're at a point
- 30:41Speaker 2: where you just need to have a conversation of like
- 30:43Speaker 2: whether it's the changes y'all have felt in the growth apart.
- 30:48Speaker 2: It's addressing that. And also like, hey, when we hang out,
- 30:51Speaker 2: I know your job is so important and I love
- 30:54Speaker 2: an update, but like I feel like that's the only
- 30:56Speaker 2: thing we talk about, and I want to talk about
- 30:58Speaker 2: other things with you. I wanted to just I mean
- 31:02Speaker 2: sometimes in a relationship, like sometimes Haley will come home
- 31:04Speaker 2: when something she's working with and it's like, can we
- 31:07Speaker 2: just have a break and not and just talk about
- 31:09Speaker 2: other things other than work things?
- 31:11Speaker 1: Yeah, because like would you eat for lunch? Whatever?
- 31:15Speaker 2: We don't get that exciting every night of like what
- 31:18Speaker 2: did you eat for lunch? You know? But I'm just saying,
- 31:21Speaker 2: like I do think it's important to have to let
- 31:24Speaker 2: someone know because sometimes people don't know that that they're
- 31:27Speaker 2: just hemming and hauling on and on about the same thing. Yeah,
- 31:30Speaker 2: and they probably she might not even remember if she's
- 31:32Speaker 2: talked to you about certain things and you're like, I've
- 31:34Speaker 2: heard this story for five hundred times.
- 31:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:36Speaker 3: I talk about work a lot because that's often all
- 31:40Speaker 3: that I do in the day. And at one point
- 31:41Speaker 3: Alison was like, Hey, you get paid for that. I don't,
- 31:44Speaker 3: so I'm can we calm it down, you know, And
- 31:47Speaker 3: I was like wow, And I think about that old
- 31:49Speaker 3: every time I started like talking about work, I'm like,
- 31:50Speaker 3: oh god, you know, like she just leave them at
- 31:52Speaker 3: the office.
- 31:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, which is hard, so hard. It's easier
- 31:56Speaker 2: said than none to just be able to turn it off,
- 31:58Speaker 2: but it is. I do think it's worth a conversation.
- 32:01Speaker 2: And I also think that if it's if it's a
- 32:04Speaker 2: deeper issue and it's like, hey, we're just not the
- 32:06Speaker 2: same people, and I want to be more specific on
- 32:09Speaker 2: where I'm spending my time and energy and friendships and relationships,
- 32:12Speaker 2: and it's not here anymore. That's okay. Yeah, it's good luck, Jocelyn, Jocelyn.
- 32:18Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, we wish you the best of Joscelyn. All right.
- 32:22Speaker 3: Last one this is from Lauren, Hi, Banya and me Ston.
- 32:26Speaker 3: That's fun and just binge. Nobody wants this And all
- 32:29Speaker 3: he did the whole time was picture Tany as Joanne
- 32:31Speaker 3: and Robbie is Noah. I want to know all the
- 32:33Speaker 3: different parallels Tonya saw when she watched the show. Did
- 32:36Speaker 3: she experience similar struggles with Robbie's family as far as
- 32:38Speaker 3: the religion and being more conservative? Is Robbie a lot
- 32:41Speaker 3: like Noah's character, even parilis Becca saw from out outside perspective,
- 32:45Speaker 3: love you guys.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Well right off the I mean the storyline in and
- 32:52Speaker 1: of itself is like this blonde podcast or that talks
- 32:56Speaker 1: about sex dating this like Jewish guys, So like right off, Rabbi, sorry, Rabbi,
- 33:02Speaker 1: my apologies, even though Robbie's not a rabbi. The general
- 33:08Speaker 1: synopsis of the show is like literally our relationship, so
- 33:12Speaker 1: that to me, like right off the bat was very weird.
- 33:15Speaker 1: The first kiss when I got my vagina tingles, that
- 33:21Speaker 1: felt very like similar to the kiss that we had
- 33:25Speaker 1: less with the family because his mom and his sister
- 33:28Speaker 1: in law were like so excited about me because of
- 33:32Speaker 1: like everything that he's gone through in the past, so
- 33:34Speaker 1: like I didn't have to deal with any family members
- 33:37Speaker 1: not liking me, which was really nice, Like they were
- 33:39Speaker 1: really like lovely to me. But the scene where she's
- 33:43Speaker 1: trying to like impress all the other like friends at
- 33:45Speaker 1: the basketball game, like that is so literally me like
- 33:51Speaker 1: trying to like make friends with other school moms, like hey,
- 33:54Speaker 1: I'm cool, like I'm new here, uh looking up the
- 34:02Speaker 1: other woman On Instagram and social media I did a
- 34:05Speaker 1: lot of that. What else from the show?
- 34:10Speaker 2: I mean, I feel like even with your his Robbie's
- 34:13Speaker 2: family was so much more accepting of you. But I
- 34:15Speaker 2: do feel like you feeling like the blonde Christian there
- 34:21Speaker 2: was like the ships coming in. I think there was
- 34:25Speaker 2: some like not pressure, but there was some nerves in terms.
- 34:30Speaker 1: Of yeah, just because it's so it was so foreign
- 34:32Speaker 1: to me, like I've never I've i've never had like
- 34:34Speaker 1: a satyr, or I didn't know what a satyr was,
- 34:36Speaker 1: Like I remember I made it was COVID and so
- 34:39Speaker 1: I am not sure exactly, but it was a satyr
- 34:42Speaker 1: that I wanted to make for Robbie, and so I like,
- 34:46Speaker 1: I look, I saw pictures of it. I look at
- 34:48Speaker 1: it now, it's so wish mode. I look at it now,
- 34:52Speaker 1: I'm like, this is so not what it should have
- 34:54Speaker 1: looked like. You know, I tried. I tried, and I
- 34:57Speaker 1: also had no idea. I had no idea what I
- 34:59Speaker 1: was doing. Yeah, but I do feel like it was
- 35:02Speaker 1: both ways too. He never even decorated a Christmas tree
- 35:05Speaker 1: until he met me, right, and so I invited him
- 35:08Speaker 1: over one night to like decorate the tree, and he
- 35:10Speaker 1: like went to Creighton Beryl and he was like asked
- 35:13Speaker 1: for help to buy ornaments because he like didn't know,
- 35:16Speaker 1: like like which ones do you buy? Like I don't
- 35:18Speaker 1: know which one she had? Yeah, do you buy? He
- 35:20Speaker 1: bought them in pairs. He thought you had to buy
- 35:22Speaker 1: them in pairs.
- 35:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:25Speaker 2: I feel like I watched it feeling like the general
- 35:28Speaker 2: storylines and some there were some specific things where I
- 35:30Speaker 2: was like, this felt very like your story.
- 35:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:33Speaker 2: And even for Aaron Foster, who it's based on, She's like,
- 35:37Speaker 2: there's a there's a lot of extremes in it, you.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Know, but even the best somebody in this show is
- 35:42Speaker 1: named Rebecca.
- 35:43Speaker 2: I literally before I realized it was Aaron Foster who
- 35:45Speaker 2: wrote it, and they have their podcast together, I was like,
- 35:48Speaker 2: someone listens to someone was inspired by Tanya's story too.
- 35:52Speaker 1: I didn't realize it was Aaron's either, and I was like,
- 35:54Speaker 1: this is a listener yeah.
- 35:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:56Speaker 1: And then the cousin his brother's named Sasha, Yeah, and
- 35:59Speaker 1: we have a song. He has a Sausha in his family.
- 36:01Speaker 1: Like I was like, this is so weird.
- 36:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I know. I felt that way too. And one
- 36:06Speaker 2: of my favorite storylines in that show was when she
- 36:08Speaker 2: got the ick. When like he had his like sports
- 36:11Speaker 2: code on and the shorts and he had the flowers
- 36:14Speaker 2: for the mom and she was just like, oh Like,
- 36:17Speaker 2: I was like that, that is such a I loved
- 36:20Speaker 2: that it was a reversed ach though, because I feel
- 36:22Speaker 2: like in my situation, anytime I would get the thick
- 36:25Speaker 2: from guys, I'd just be like done done.
- 36:28Speaker 1: Oh right, she overcame the it overcame the ck. Yeah. Yeah,
- 36:31Speaker 1: I never got the ck with Robbie. I don't think.
- 36:36Speaker 1: I'm sure the very some of you did recently where
- 36:39Speaker 1: you were like, oh my gosh, the bit moji. Oh no,
- 36:45Speaker 1: I showed him this, so I can't remember. You were
- 36:48Speaker 1: at my house for after we went wedding dress shopping
- 36:53Speaker 1: and Becca was showing me some text message from Robbie
- 36:57Speaker 1: and I see the photo that is saved in her
- 37:01Speaker 1: phone for him, and it's like this goofy looking bit
- 37:05Speaker 1: moji and I literally never cringed or had the ick harder.
- 37:09Speaker 1: I was like, please tell me he did not pick this,
- 37:13Speaker 1: like please, but he doesn't know. He was like, she
- 37:16Speaker 1: must have added that for me.
- 37:18Speaker 2: No, I didn't. That's what phone you know what?
- 37:22Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the test when it.
- 37:24Speaker 2: Says like someone has a new contact information. That's what
- 37:28Speaker 2: I did.
- 37:31Speaker 3: Mine's there's no picture.
- 37:34Speaker 2: I tell you, guys, what did I create a bit moji?
- 37:37Speaker 2: Because I did.
- 37:37Speaker 1: I took a picture of it, and I was like,
- 37:40Speaker 1: I need to address this, and I addressed it head on.
- 37:43Speaker 2: She was like what is that? And I was like what.
- 37:45Speaker 2: She was like, did you choose that for him? And
- 37:48Speaker 2: I was like, no, that's what came on. This is okay.
- 37:54Speaker 3: So to be clear, this is a me moji. This
- 37:56Speaker 3: is the Apple moji, is a Snapchat.
- 38:00Speaker 1: Sorry, it's a memoji.
- 38:01Speaker 3: This is slightly more acceptable. I think.
- 38:03Speaker 1: No, I think this is no me emojis.
- 38:09Speaker 2: Five o'clock.
- 38:12Speaker 3: He's given us like self assured smirk too.
- 38:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I love. I mean that's like when I see
- 38:17Speaker 2: his text, that's what pops up. That makes me so on. Well,
- 38:21Speaker 2: we're texting all the time, yeah, every day.
- 38:23Speaker 1: When I see his every I get it texting.
- 38:27Speaker 3: Actually, I should point out I looked at my own
- 38:30Speaker 3: and it's it's a memoji doing the exact same face.
- 38:33Speaker 3: I did not set this. I didn't set this.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Wait, I think I didn't. That's on mine as well,
- 38:40Speaker 2: because on my computer.
- 38:43Speaker 1: See, oh yeah, I have it for you.
- 38:46Speaker 3: I'm so embarrassed.
- 38:48Speaker 1: I have it for you too.
- 38:50Speaker 3: For the longest time, my picture is me flexing in
- 38:53Speaker 3: front of a nuclear bomb going off. It should be
- 38:55Speaker 3: that instead of me emoji. Well, I'm going to change
- 38:59Speaker 3: it right now.
- 38:59Speaker 1: It's so funny because I did have that conversation with him.
- 39:01Speaker 1: I was like, we need to talk.
- 39:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I didn't really see what the big
- 39:04Speaker 2: deal was. I don't think that would give me the
- 39:05Speaker 2: ick if she had a.
- 39:08Speaker 1: Cute It's not a cute little emoji, is it?
- 39:12Speaker 2: Did it make it? Why? What about it gave you
- 39:15Speaker 2: the ick?
- 39:16Speaker 1: Because I'm like, we're not in high school.
- 39:19Speaker 2: Oh see, I think that that is an older person
- 39:21Speaker 2: thing that they do. Oh I thought you were more
- 39:23Speaker 2: like this is giving boomer.
- 39:25Speaker 1: No, it was like giving like why aren't you just
- 39:27Speaker 1: using a photo of yourself or just or just no photo?
- 39:31Speaker 2: Yeah, or like a color yeah. You Your reaction really
- 39:35Speaker 2: surprised me.
- 39:36Speaker 1: Really. Yeah, but I addressed it with him.
- 39:39Speaker 2: Yeah, you handled it?
- 39:40Speaker 1: Was where did what's happening.
- 39:45Speaker 2: For most of you?
- 39:45Speaker 3: Actually?
- 39:46Speaker 1: Becca must have added that. For me, I don't know
- 39:48Speaker 1: what that is.
- 39:48Speaker 2: I am actually offended now that he thinks I took
- 39:51Speaker 2: the time to find an memoji that looks like him
- 39:56Speaker 2: and mo think of mimosa but memoji. Yeah. Anyways, well,
- 40:04Speaker 2: I'm glad you ever, I'm glad you've already started wedding
- 40:07Speaker 2: planning before you got that ic.
- 40:09Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, I got over it fast. It was
- 40:11Speaker 1: like same day, same day confrontation. Well that's all for now, folks,
- 40:18Speaker 1: that's all for now.
- 40:19Speaker 2: We are back next week chatting with Jenna Eshkowitz, which
- 40:22Speaker 2: I'm so excited. I was like a glee what did
- 40:25Speaker 2: they call them, gleek?
- 40:26Speaker 1: I was a geek. Yeah, So I'm so excited to
- 40:28Speaker 1: talk to her.

- 40:51Speaker 1: we are, so we're gonna be.
- 40:56Speaker 2: It sounds like a crash, I think as well. I
- 40:58Speaker 2: don't like about the plane respect of that.
- 41:00Speaker 3: That one sounded like a bomb.
- 41:02Speaker 1: Oh oh my god. Yeah, I'll work on that.
- 41:06Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll work on that all right. We'll love you bye.
