Dolly Parton Movies Back on Screen | Macon News
Movie theaters are reviving two iconic Dolly Parton films, “Steel Magnolias” and “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas,” for a limited nationwide run as a tribute. AMC Theatres kicks things off Friday, August 28th through Wednesday, September 2nd, screening both at 200 locations with two matinee showings daily. Regal joins in Tennessee, charging $9.25 per ticket—with all proceeds supporting Dolly’s Imagination Library and East Tennessee Children’s Hospital.
