Exodus 22
Exodus 22 read aloud, in a fresh direct translation from the Hebrew — plain modern English, nothing added.
Translator's notes:
• Exodus 22:29 — מלאתך ודמעך (mele'atkha ve-dim'akha): chose “your fullness offering and your fruit juice”. Alternatives: “the fullness of your harvest and the flow of your presses”. Why: dim'ah literally means “tear”, and here it appears to mean the liquid yield of the press.
