- Forged In The Dark: Today is about the big dive, the leap of faith, the cannonball or the belly flop into the next version of yourself. This is not about the baby steps. We'll talk about baby steps for a minute, but this is about the big one, that leap of faith that you have been afraid to make. Welcome to Forged in the Dark. I'm your host, Jamie. Let's dig in. The choices that you have made up to today, up to this point, have created your current reality. And The choices that you make today will create your future reality, your tomorrow. And if you continue to make the chain the same choices that have gotten you up to this point, there actually is no chance of you getting to that bigger vision, that bigger dream, that bigger identity that's waiting for you. Because I promise you, whether you can see it or not, there is a version of you on the other side of where you are now. And it is going to take different thoughts, different choice, different beliefs, and different actions to get you to the next place. But sometimes we have to take the big bold leap, the big bold move into what's next before we have the proof that it's working. So let's take a moment here and honor the baby steps. I am one that believes that the baby steps are important at every level of transformation, whether you are just beginning or you are deep in the work, like far advanced. I think it's important to have steps along the path that come at a smaller mental load, physical load. I think it's important to have habits and routines ⁓ that come with more ease, more flow, and more fun. ⁓ So again, if you are still in the baby step phase, I am not dissing you. I am not dissing the baby steps, but the baby steps are not going to get you into the identity, into the person you are becoming. It's not going to get you to that soul-awakening, transformational work that propels you into what comes next. Now I it there's a huge part of me that wants to tell you the whole story of the last year of my life. But ⁓ Let me give you the Cliff Notes version. Because it was about a year ago, just before my birthday, that I started to notice things in my life shift. And it wasn't just in my physical reality, it was in my in internal reality first. I I felt something coming. And instead of sitting idly on my hands saying, Well, I feel like something's brewing, I I got extra busy. I I I doubled down on all of the things that were currently working that was pushing the needle forward, getting me to where I needed to be. And I had a lot of patience. There were months where people and opportunities, it was like magic falling from the sky. I literally was I I told, I was telling people, I I manifested this, I created this, I spoke this into existence. And really, in hindsight, it was years of hard work just all coming together at the same time. But What I didn't know, what I couldn't know, was the mental load that would come with all of the blessings that I was asking for. What I didn't know is I would be put into an arena with people that think Different, move different, take different actions, have different beliefs about themselves in the world, and ⁓ my goodness, fail faster. The ability to fail faster, belly flop, get the wind knocked out of you. Take a moment while you're down there, look around because there's a completely different perspective from down there. Grab your lessons, figure out what worked, grab like all of it. What worked, what didn't work, has It all is information, hop back up and keep going. The next version of you does that, but you must be willing right now today. To accept that everything you've done up to this point has worked. It has gotten you here to today. And the day has come. It is time for you to rip off the band-aid. It is time for you to step into the next version of yourself right now. And if you're here, I'm pretty sure you know what that next step is. I will use a very good friend as an example here instead of using myself. Her she is already running a multi-six figure business and she knows exactly where she wants to go. And she knows exactly what the next version of her, ⁓ how how she moves, what how she dresses, where she's hanging out, the things that she no longer worries about. There's a long list of those. And for some reason, she is scared to take the dive. She is scared to take the leap. And I get it. Because not everyone will enter a season of rapid fire growth by the same ways that I did. Basically stripping away everything from your current reality and starting over. ⁓ But the calling is there for my friend. The calling is there for my friend, just like the calling was there for me. There comes a point where you have to survey where you are and start asking yourself: are my current habits going to get me to what comes next? Because the season of rapid-fire growth. It it's it's here to mold you. It's here to shape you. Let me tell you, my favorite part of this season of rapid fire growth is how I keep surprising myself. I I took this leap, I took this dive, and I wish I could tell you that it was all sunshine and rainbows, but it hasn't been. I mean, I have had times where I was arms out soaring or like wings spread, soaring like an eagle, and and blinked and hit a mountain and landed right on like flop down on the ground. It it can be confusing and disorienting. You go diving into this completely new identity and you might look in the mirror and not know who you are. You may be driving roads that you've driven for 20 years and look up and be confused about your surroundings. But the point I'm trying to make, not so not so directly, is that Not only can you survive the season of rapid fire change, you can handle the challenges that come with it. This season of rapid fire change shows you who you are. You will find yourself surprising yourself. I love surprising myself. I love looking at the numbers from a run and just feeling that level of satisfaction that ⁓ my gosh, I just surprised myself. The best part about rapid fire change is it shows you what's possible, ⁓ it shows you that not. only not only has everything you've done up to this point worked but you can start doing it faster and faster and faster you can start stacking the winds on top of the winds on top of the winds and build the momentum But staying where you are, staying in your current mindset, staying in your current belief system, staying in your current habits is not going to get you to what comes next. I should probably do an entire episode of what it actually feels like when you take that dive. I know I made a couple of references here, but when I tell you I've been there. I I have spent the entire last year in a season of under fire ⁓ rapid fire change, like change under fire, change by choice, change, change, change, change. And and when you open yourself up to what's possible, when when you remind yourself that I chose this, I chose to step into the next version of myself. I chose it and not everyone understood. It came with a lot of easy goodbyes. It came with a lot of hard goodbyes. It came with purging physical items that no longer represent who I am. But if you really want what you say you want, it is time to stop playing small. It is time to rip off the band-aid. It is time for you to make different choices today, to choose different thoughts, to choose different beliefs, to believe in yourself and your dream and your vision so much that it becomes inevitable. ⁓ Okay, so hopefully today gave you ⁓ enough what you needed ⁓ to to that leap, to take that to to cannonball or belly flop if you have to into what comes next. ⁓ Because you will not get to where ⁓ want to go ⁓ by staying exactly you are. All right. sending you so much love today. ⁓
