Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Hi, my loves, Welcome back to Vanity Farah. I'm your host.
- 0:05Speaker 1: My name is Chris Farah, and today I'm talking ninety
- 0:08Speaker 1: day Single Life at season five, episode eight, The act
- 0:12Speaker 1: of being sus Honey. A lot of sus happening here.
- 0:17Speaker 1: I suspect some of these things are not even real.
- 0:20Speaker 1: I'll tell you who's acting sus sharp entertainment. I'm not
- 0:23Speaker 1: quite sure, but I will say this is a okay.
- 0:27Speaker 1: I don't watch this Single life often, so having said that,
- 0:31Speaker 1: am I super familiar with this format? No? But this
- 0:35Speaker 1: just seems like extra footage of people they decided to
- 0:38Speaker 1: follow for whatever reason. And then they were like, well,
- 0:41Speaker 1: is it diaries? What is it like? But I'm on
- 0:44Speaker 1: Single Life like because a couple of these peeps like
- 0:48Speaker 1: have nothing to do with dating and finding someone. And
- 0:54Speaker 1: I'll tell you why. Okay, in actuality. Okay, so let's start.
- 0:59Speaker 1: Let's art with Pedro and Sophie. So this is hot
- 1:03Speaker 1: on the heels of you know, Pedro finally being like, Hey, Sophie,
- 1:08Speaker 1: come meet my parents, Come meet my mom, my mom,
- 1:10Speaker 1: come meet my sister. They're a little crazy, but it's
- 1:16Speaker 1: gonna be good. Now, if he actually wanted them to
- 1:20Speaker 1: like Sophie. I would assume he would know he would
- 1:23Speaker 1: have to really lay some fake foundation work, telling them
- 1:26Speaker 1: how she's wifey material, how she'd be such a good mother,
- 1:30Speaker 1: how she loves family, very close to her own family,
- 1:35Speaker 1: how she is I'm really really into him, honestly and
- 1:39Speaker 1: genuinely into him, and that he has never felt this way.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Now has he said any of that to them? Now?
- 1:44Speaker 1: He met with Nicole and was like, I don't know
- 1:46Speaker 1: about her, and you know, literally let his sister Nicole
- 1:52Speaker 1: show off her brand new face on this season of
- 1:55Speaker 1: Single Life, and he knew what he was she was
- 1:57Speaker 1: gonna do with that face. She knew, I mean, he
- 2:00Speaker 1: knew that Nicole with a brand new nose and all
- 2:02Speaker 1: of the stuff that's happening with her was going to yell
- 2:04Speaker 1: at Sophie. Now, thankfully the producers and or you know,
- 2:09Speaker 1: the way the tide turn is, Sophie looks bad this season.
- 2:13Speaker 1: I'm not saying physically she looks fine, but personality wise
- 2:17Speaker 1: and like intention wise and like emotional, like maturity wise,
- 2:21Speaker 1: and she is it's a really bad look. She basically
- 2:25Speaker 1: bullied Liz, who's cancer stricken and has just played back
- 2:30Speaker 1: and forth of being into and not into Pedro and
- 2:34Speaker 1: so and the whole time has lied to us about
- 2:38Speaker 1: a bunch of things. And by us, I mean the audience.
- 2:41Speaker 1: I'll never forgive her for being like I found this
- 2:43Speaker 1: guy online and it was him and he was so
- 2:45Speaker 1: hot and oh my god, and I found out later
- 2:47Speaker 1: that he was on nine of a Fiance. Fucking bullshit,
- 2:50Speaker 1: I mean, and especially now in this episode, she's like yeah.
- 2:53Speaker 1: And then I saw when Chantelle called Nicole a bitch,
- 2:55Speaker 1: and I was like, yeah, Sophie, you are there probably
- 2:58Speaker 1: in real time, watching about the harvesting the American dollar bit.
- 3:02Speaker 1: You know this family. Okay. There was just so many
- 3:05Speaker 1: weird moments where I'm like, oh my god, girl, no,
- 3:08Speaker 1: I can't be on your team. So having said that
- 3:12Speaker 1: we are hot on the heels and the fact that
- 3:14Speaker 1: Sophie said you and your fucking mom to Nicole and
- 3:18Speaker 1: obviously she met Lydia Pedro's mom, now it seems like
- 3:23Speaker 1: Pedro heard that in real time, knows it happened. Now
- 3:27Speaker 1: it's interesting why he then didn't say something in that
- 3:29Speaker 1: moment or come up to her. He It's like, did
- 3:33Speaker 1: you hear that? And just let it go and then
- 3:36Speaker 1: held it on, held on to it in your mind,
- 3:38Speaker 1: and when Nicole was like, that's why I got mad
- 3:40Speaker 1: at her. Okay, Nicole's like, fuck her my birthday. Leave
- 3:43Speaker 1: and it's true. You know you can leave. It's my birthday,
- 3:46Speaker 1: And yeah, that's true. Don't Why would you even come?
- 3:48Speaker 1: I would say this two things happen on this show.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Don't come to someone's family party. Don't come to someone's
- 3:59Speaker 1: cousin's home. Don't come to someone's sister's birthday. Don't even
- 4:05Speaker 1: go to the person you're dating's birthday unless you like them.
- 4:10Speaker 1: If you're going to be around someone you are dating's
- 4:13Speaker 1: family that it looks like you are being serious with them.
- 4:19Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know why. This is like a
- 4:21Speaker 1: PSA announcement. So none of this really rings super true,
- 4:24Speaker 1: Like all of this feels manufactured, and I'm not super
- 4:28Speaker 1: excited about it because at this point, we just had
- 4:30Speaker 1: a whole other episode where I'm like, give me back
- 4:33Speaker 1: to Liz, where's lizen Villa? Then we're like, just in,
- 4:35Speaker 1: are they just like fucking in the most beautiful penthouse
- 4:38Speaker 1: back at that hotel? Are we not being able to
- 4:40Speaker 1: see any of that? I mean, I want to see
- 4:42Speaker 1: her fucking I mean, I would anything would be better
- 4:43Speaker 1: than what I'm watching now. Truly, I just like, this
- 4:46Speaker 1: cannot be it. This is so boring anyway, So God bless.
- 4:50Speaker 1: So the next morning, you know, Petro is you know,
- 4:54Speaker 1: I don't know why I say his name one billion times.
- 4:56Speaker 1: It's my unfault. Pedro was like, yeah, I walked around,
- 5:00Speaker 1: but I just have flashbacks to Chantelle. I thought Sophie
- 5:03Speaker 1: was different, but no. The next morning he says that
- 5:05Speaker 1: he feels like trash. We're like, oh, okay, and then
- 5:09Speaker 1: he said things are going well, but his family ruined everything.
- 5:12Speaker 1: But then he also says that again, Sophie reminds him
- 5:15Speaker 1: a little bit of the Chantelle situation, who he says,
- 5:17Speaker 1: Chantelle was toxic to his family. So I kind of
- 5:20Speaker 1: want to be like, so, which one is it, buddy,
- 5:22Speaker 1: who's toxic here and who's not? Whose sad are you on?
- 5:25Speaker 1: Because it feels like he knows in his heart that
- 5:27Speaker 1: his family is obviously like, you know, not into him
- 5:30Speaker 1: being with women or unless every woman that he's attracted to.
- 5:33Speaker 1: The thing about it is like I think that Lyddy
- 5:36Speaker 1: and Nicole are a little bit like ah, he always
- 5:38Speaker 1: loves fake looking kind of like big bootied or like
- 5:42Speaker 1: you know, over the top vein or vapid females. I
- 5:46Speaker 1: think that at their core, they're not going to be
- 5:48Speaker 1: into that. They're either going to be like that person's fake,
- 5:50Speaker 1: or they're going to be jealous of that person. So
- 5:53Speaker 1: it's like, I wonder who they think would be perfect,
- 5:56Speaker 1: And I feel like if they tried to set him
- 5:59Speaker 1: up with someone they wanted, he wouldn't be attracted to
- 6:02Speaker 1: her anyway. So now Pedro's mom, Lydia is very intense,
- 6:08Speaker 1: you know, and she's very judgmental, and you know, her
- 6:12Speaker 1: saying to Sophie that Sophie should have had contact with
- 6:16Speaker 1: her son's banana, Like I wouldn't be able to stand that, right.
- 6:20Speaker 1: I think the difference is like if someone says that
- 6:22Speaker 1: to me, I won't ever say anything for the rest
- 6:25Speaker 1: of the night to the family because you would know
- 6:28Speaker 1: intrinsically that like this isn't for you. But Sophie just
- 6:31Speaker 1: seems to be really upset about that and then holds
- 6:32Speaker 1: it and then yeah, like you know, obviously Eels and
- 6:34Speaker 1: Nicole and here we are. The next morning, he goes
- 6:36Speaker 1: to get Sophie and she's wearing like a wild outfit.
- 6:39Speaker 1: It's like this like skin tight navy number and a
- 6:42Speaker 1: big old hat, you know. And then they talk and
- 6:46Speaker 1: they're you know, they apologize to each other. But then
- 6:49Speaker 1: we get to Sophie like, I'm gonna have to take
- 6:51Speaker 1: a step back, and it's like that you've already had
- 6:53Speaker 1: like fourteen steps back. This is not watchable sharp entertainment.
- 6:58Speaker 1: It's not watchable to have someone like oh I like you,
- 7:01Speaker 1: ohy not because the truth of the matter is Pedro
- 7:03Speaker 1: and Sophie have never had good sexual ACoM They look
- 7:07Speaker 1: so awkward together. They're not fun. You don't even set
- 7:11Speaker 1: up them dating before they got to the dr. Like
- 7:14Speaker 1: that's another part of like this single life, Like we
- 7:18Speaker 1: would have had to see them have some fun together
- 7:20Speaker 1: like in real life and then have her come to
- 7:23Speaker 1: his sister's birthday, but this just to be here and
- 7:25Speaker 1: then have her be like, I don't know if I'm
- 7:27Speaker 1: into him. I'm It's like it's I wouldn't want to
- 7:29Speaker 1: watch it in real life, and this is fake. This
- 7:33Speaker 1: is not real life. So this is unwatchable to me.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Julia's doing what the fuck Julia's doing? Like this is
- 7:42Speaker 1: so weird, and it's you know what's funny about it,
- 7:45Speaker 1: It's just that you really can tell that the producers
- 7:47Speaker 1: wish they could do everything with the franchise. You know,
- 7:50Speaker 1: they're like, we wish the franchise was kind of like
- 7:52Speaker 1: Bachelor and Bachelor Nation, where we can like make people
- 7:56Speaker 1: hook up with each other. We kind of wish the
- 7:57Speaker 1: franchise was like Real Housewives, where were there they were
- 8:00Speaker 1: friends with each other and also had drama, like you know, Lauren,
- 8:04Speaker 1: Lauren and Libby, like they want so badly for their
- 8:07Speaker 1: there to be authentic relationships within the cast, and except
- 8:12Speaker 1: for maybe Colton Courtney, Like, it's not what the show's about.
- 8:17Speaker 1: It's too and it's too manufactured. It's too contrived. And
- 8:20Speaker 1: that's the honest to god reason why the Bad Boys
- 8:24Speaker 1: or what Jamal and all? Like, none of that's watchable.
- 8:26Speaker 1: It's not entertaining. I'm so sorry, it's not real. Like,
- 8:28Speaker 1: I don't even know why anyone thought that three guys
- 8:31Speaker 1: just lip singing together like a fucking bunch of eleven
- 8:33Speaker 1: year olds on TikTok was gonna be fun. It's not.
- 8:36Speaker 1: You're not Madison Beer. It's like, I don't even understand
- 8:39Speaker 1: your relationship. It's you guys. It's yeah. It felt it
- 8:42Speaker 1: just feels like late stage capitalism. It just feels like
- 8:45Speaker 1: money grabbing and it just feels like real, fake, real
- 8:48Speaker 1: and authentic. And I just but I just yeah, I
- 8:51Speaker 1: wish that the producers knew how to work with what
- 8:57Speaker 1: makes Nana de Fiance great, which is, you know, authentic
- 9:01Speaker 1: people figuring out cultural differences, you know, their own differences,
- 9:08Speaker 1: trying to communicate that under obviously a time crunch with
- 9:12Speaker 1: high ass steaks. And that's why, honestly, when they do
- 9:15Speaker 1: new seasons of Nana da Fiance, I feel like that's
- 9:17Speaker 1: their bread and butter. Obviously it's going to get big ratings.
- 9:20Speaker 1: In fact, they announced the new season of nanea Day Fiance.
- 9:24Speaker 1: It's going to premiere in May with a bunch of
- 9:25Speaker 1: new couples and characters, and it looks great. There's one
- 9:29Speaker 1: lady from Marissa I found out is one of the
- 9:32Speaker 1: consultants from Say Yes to the Dress from Kleinfeld, Like
- 9:36Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, The New York Bridle Salaon
- 9:38Speaker 1: that loves Panina Torney. Also, there's like an Egyptian actor
- 9:41Speaker 1: who's a virgin like I can't wait. Okay, anyway, there's
- 9:45Speaker 1: a bunch of people from Alabama for some reason, Like
- 9:47Speaker 1: it's like, did the casting for this one season just
- 9:50Speaker 1: like Drive through Every city of Alabama was like as
- 9:53Speaker 1: an Alabama heavy episode. It's all Bama. Okay Anyway, it
- 9:57Speaker 1: does look great and that's what we want. Anyway. Yeah,
- 10:00Speaker 1: it's really hard to say this, and it's gonna sound mean.
- 10:03Speaker 1: There has never been a ninety Day cast member that
- 10:07Speaker 1: has come out of the franchise that is truly a
- 10:11Speaker 1: great watchable for a long time reality show star, except
- 10:18Speaker 1: maybe for Darcy. And the thing about why I say
- 10:21Speaker 1: it's not great for Darcy is because Darcy's own insecurity
- 10:25Speaker 1: and mental illness plagued by her sister you have, you know,
- 10:29Speaker 1: made them do so much plastic surgery that that part
- 10:32Speaker 1: doesn't feel real. It doesn't feel like someone you can
- 10:35Speaker 1: watch and like want to know what's happening in our life,
- 10:37Speaker 1: because what they broadcast is just like procedure after procedure
- 10:42Speaker 1: with like surgical utensils on their inserts. So much of
- 10:44Speaker 1: their like Instagram, is like getting surgeries paid for again
- 10:48Speaker 1: and just like pictures in the middle of the medical process.
- 10:54Speaker 1: And it's like, oh my, that's not what we like
- 10:56Speaker 1: about you, you remember how like what we wanted from
- 10:59Speaker 1: you is like your sincere effort to fall in love
- 11:02Speaker 1: and find love, but then eat both of them literally
- 11:06Speaker 1: hitch their wagons to like young European men who couldn't
- 11:10Speaker 1: give any fucks about them. So now with Darcy and
- 11:15Speaker 1: like Stacy, it's like we get like an endless cycle
- 11:19Speaker 1: of them what now trying to find love with? Like
- 11:23Speaker 1: what Florian and Georgie they hate them everyone, I mean
- 11:27Speaker 1: you know, they hate them. So it's never gonna be real. Like,
- 11:31Speaker 1: get these women off the fucking you know, doctor's tables
- 11:36Speaker 1: and get them into fucking matchmaking events like in Connecticut,
- 11:39Speaker 1: Like I want to watch her be single in Miami.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Like there are men that will date them a because
- 11:46Speaker 1: they are, you know, physically the way they look, because
- 11:50Speaker 1: they're famous, like whatever, it's not gonna be hard to
- 11:52Speaker 1: find men that like to watch them date. So yeah,
- 11:55Speaker 1: I just it's God, I wish I could produce this show. Okay,
- 11:58Speaker 1: So yeah, literally, oh they get it, will you know.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Petro and Sophie are like, oh, I'm gonna like see
- 12:02Speaker 1: what happens. It's like, no, don't you know, don't do
- 12:05Speaker 1: many fucking favors. Let's move on to Vanya. So avanya
- 12:08Speaker 1: situation is interesting. So Vanya again is on single life,
- 12:11Speaker 1: and then episode you know two was like, I really
- 12:13Speaker 1: want to be boyfriend and girlfriend with this guy named Tony,
- 12:15Speaker 1: who obviously did not want to be a boyfriend and
- 12:17Speaker 1: girlfriend situation with her. Tony obviously wants to showcase being cool,
- 12:24Speaker 1: being someone who affords a hot rod car. He's pushing
- 12:29Speaker 1: fifty two. He is gonna say crazy ass shit like
- 12:35Speaker 1: how his marriage of eight months you know ended because
- 12:37Speaker 1: a lack of communication on both their parts. Yeah, I
- 12:43Speaker 1: I don't know. How do you? Okay? I could see
- 12:46Speaker 1: you being maybe with someone for a long time and
- 12:48Speaker 1: communication breaks down for lots of reasons. But if you
- 12:51Speaker 1: have waited so fucking long to finally get married because
- 12:54Speaker 1: I don't know, you probably never were liking emotionally ready
- 12:57Speaker 1: and then suddenly someone I don't know put a gun
- 12:59Speaker 1: to your head. Who knows, but let's just say you
- 13:01Speaker 1: do that. How do you not communicate with someone over
- 13:05Speaker 1: a five to eight month period? Well, like, how does
- 13:08Speaker 1: it already break down that much? Also for him to
- 13:12Speaker 1: be like it was a lack of communication on both
- 13:14Speaker 1: our parts. Bitch, what I feel like Tony was a doctor,
- 13:17Speaker 1: wouldn't fucking give two shits talking to this person. And
- 13:20Speaker 1: then he seems he seems really not it. He seems like,
- 13:25Speaker 1: you know, bottom of the barrel. And by that, I
- 13:27Speaker 1: mean he seems like someone who wants so badly to
- 13:32Speaker 1: be something and that something is cool or hot or like,
- 13:35Speaker 1: you know, like a little bit of like a playboy.
- 13:38Speaker 1: I don't know who he thinks he deserves in his life,
- 13:41Speaker 1: but he's not debonair. He's not charming. He would be
- 13:46Speaker 1: lucky to get, you know, anyone. And Vanya is an interesting,
- 13:50Speaker 1: beautiful lady. Now we find out that Tony is a doctor,
- 13:54Speaker 1: he certainly dresses like trash. He dresses horribly, and listen,
- 14:00Speaker 1: maybe it's a Florida thing, and don't come for me
- 14:02Speaker 1: if it is. But I'm saying, if he's a doctor
- 14:04Speaker 1: and drives that red car, he's definitely not dressing classy
- 14:07Speaker 1: at all. And the reason why I bring this up
- 14:09Speaker 1: is because you know, I haven't been married to a doctor,
- 14:13Speaker 1: but I know that doctors have events, right, They have dinners,
- 14:16Speaker 1: They have like different things they have to go to
- 14:19Speaker 1: and to, like socially be in certain situations as like
- 14:23Speaker 1: a married couple. But I think that you will have
- 14:26Speaker 1: to move in different You will have to move in
- 14:29Speaker 1: different circles, you know, doctor medical circles, and usually those
- 14:34Speaker 1: are like a little bit conservative and a little you know,
- 14:36Speaker 1: they're filled with people who are usually very highly educated
- 14:39Speaker 1: and whatnot. Why do I say this because certainly he
- 14:43Speaker 1: is not classy, But I can't imagine a world in
- 14:46Speaker 1: which Vanya at her age understands that she would be
- 14:50Speaker 1: like a doctor's wife. Like does she know that she
- 14:53Speaker 1: has to like wear cream and go to dinners with
- 14:58Speaker 1: like understated pearls and like, I mean there's a little
- 15:02Speaker 1: bit of that. Now, maybe she's like, no, Chris, I
- 15:04Speaker 1: fucking don't. Haven't you seen him? He doesn't do that shit.
- 15:07Speaker 1: And I'm like, okay, fine, Bonia, Fine. Vanya felt like
- 15:09Speaker 1: she was like he's a doctor she likes Okay. So
- 15:11Speaker 1: the whole thing with this storyline is that we're supposed
- 15:14Speaker 1: to believe that Vanya, who was single for two seconds
- 15:18Speaker 1: and decided to like rope this man into saying the
- 15:20Speaker 1: boyfriend and girlfriend when he didn't really want that he's
- 15:23Speaker 1: not ready for and he's like no prize, but she's like,
- 15:25Speaker 1: oh my god, he has a red car and they
- 15:28Speaker 1: haven't really been dating that long, but now she's decided
- 15:30Speaker 1: to invite him up to her cousin's house for her birthday,
- 15:35Speaker 1: which seems I mean, that seems too soon. But they
- 15:38Speaker 1: shouldn't be boyfriend and girlfriend yet, Like they should be
- 15:40Speaker 1: dating right now, and the boyfriend and girlfriend conversation should
- 15:42Speaker 1: happen I don't know, at the end of the goddamn season,
- 15:44Speaker 1: and that would be the end of single life. She
- 15:45Speaker 1: would then be not in her single life. Like that's
- 15:49Speaker 1: how a storyline goes. Okay, so we had met her
- 15:52Speaker 1: cousin before, because you know, we've seen Bonnie before, and
- 15:55Speaker 1: the first part is that she's going to get there
- 15:57Speaker 1: and then get some permanent makeup touched up, and we're like,
- 16:01Speaker 1: what no, Now our cousin has que glasses, and with
- 16:04Speaker 1: those glasses, she can see that Vanya has a certain aesthetic.
- 16:08Speaker 1: First of all, it's like Mermaid. It's like she loves pink,
- 16:12Speaker 1: purple blues. Like there's something about Vanya that's very like,
- 16:15Speaker 1: give me the shade range from pink to blue to purple.
- 16:19Speaker 1: It's like that's it. Lilac lavender under the sea, only
- 16:24Speaker 1: like nails ombre. She's wearing a rock a sorry, a
- 16:31Speaker 1: rock ring. She lays down with full face makeup to
- 16:36Speaker 1: get permanent makeup put on her. Now, I think it's
- 16:41Speaker 1: fun to have fun with makeup. Now, I would love
- 16:45Speaker 1: Here's the thing about Okay, Vanya loves color. I get it.
- 16:49Speaker 1: She loves certain colors. She like relies heavily on. I
- 16:52Speaker 1: already said her palette, and it's that all the time.
- 16:55Speaker 1: It's gonna be pink or purple eyeshadow period. It's thick,
- 16:59Speaker 1: it's matt it's mac, it's like one. It's happening, you know.
- 17:03Speaker 1: I think there is like a fun too having different looks.
- 17:09Speaker 1: What I would give to be able to do like
- 17:12Speaker 1: a full like Nina Park style makeup under for Vanya,
- 17:17Speaker 1: like get me like a tight eye, like a tight
- 17:21Speaker 1: line with like black like barely like tiny baby cat
- 17:25Speaker 1: eye or something like she loves her fake eyelashes. You know,
- 17:28Speaker 1: I would do it a little more wispy, not so thick,
- 17:32Speaker 1: little whispy er, not so concentrated of the same length that,
- 17:36Speaker 1: but like maybe some beautiful longer pieces in the middle
- 17:41Speaker 1: of her eyes, because I think they would open it
- 17:44Speaker 1: up a little bit, Like I would love to give
- 17:46Speaker 1: her a make under, I mean, you know, take down
- 17:49Speaker 1: some of the colors, but still give her color. Like
- 17:51Speaker 1: I think that she enjoys having color obviously on her lips,
- 17:54Speaker 1: in her eyes. You can still do like a beautiful
- 17:57Speaker 1: rose colored mouth and like rose eye and then like
- 18:03Speaker 1: a really fun bright pink lip, right, I just don't
- 18:06Speaker 1: want bright pink eyeshadow that matches the lip everything it.
- 18:13Speaker 1: I think that she would kind of blossom. I think
- 18:15Speaker 1: that with a different makeup look. I think that she
- 18:20Speaker 1: would certainly look softer. And I wonder if like they're yeah,
- 18:24Speaker 1: like to be able just too massage her entire aura
- 18:29Speaker 1: and be able to just take everything down a notch.
- 18:33Speaker 1: How deeply she wants to be in a relationship that
- 18:36Speaker 1: kind of like empty hole, and how much anxiety she
- 18:39Speaker 1: has with it. Tony isn't the one, and she knows it.
- 18:43Speaker 1: So as she's talking to her cousin, and as HER's
- 18:45Speaker 1: cousin's putting on who knows what kind of like permanent
- 18:48Speaker 1: lip on her and everything, she's like, Tony took me
- 18:52Speaker 1: out for a beautiful dinner and then he dropped me
- 18:55Speaker 1: off and then he went to a club slash bar
- 18:59Speaker 1: by himself, and it's a bad look. You don't do that. Why? Okay,
- 19:03Speaker 1: first of all, let's just put it out there. If
- 19:05Speaker 1: you are dating someone and then you go to dinner
- 19:07Speaker 1: with them, and let's just say your friends want you
- 19:11Speaker 1: to stop by a bar later, you would tell the
- 19:14Speaker 1: person you're dating, especially by this point your boyfriend and girlfriend, Hey,
- 19:18Speaker 1: do you want to stop by Blobby Blue blueby Blue?
- 19:20Speaker 1: They're hanging out there. Any other option is weird? Like
- 19:24Speaker 1: for him not to ask her means he didn't want
- 19:26Speaker 1: her to go. Now, if it was because he didn't
- 19:31Speaker 1: want her to go, then he doesn't want her to
- 19:33Speaker 1: go either to meet his friends because he doesn't feel
- 19:36Speaker 1: like they'll like him or like her, or he thinks
- 19:39Speaker 1: that she's too much, or he's afraid of what they'll say,
- 19:42Speaker 1: or he is in fact going to meet someone else
- 19:45Speaker 1: or have the possibility of meeting someone else. Tony is
- 19:51Speaker 1: not young, and now we know he's a doctor, So
- 19:54Speaker 1: at some point he's got to go to bed, right
- 19:56Speaker 1: because he's supposed to I don't know, being he's supposed
- 19:58Speaker 1: to be paid like large amounts money to do good
- 20:01Speaker 1: work he's old as fuck, so like, what the fuck
- 20:03Speaker 1: are you doing at a bar and a club buddy
- 20:04Speaker 1: like in Miami with that car, except wanting so bad
- 20:09Speaker 1: to like run around with every like who you think
- 20:12Speaker 1: hot pieces in Miami? Like I feel like I feel
- 20:16Speaker 1: like if you were like Elise, have you seen that
- 20:18Speaker 1: asshole over there? That Tony, Elise would be like yeah,
- 20:20Speaker 1: I see him everywhere and he like foams the mouth
- 20:23Speaker 1: every time I walk by, and he I've had to,
- 20:26Speaker 1: you know, turn him down one billion times. I feel
- 20:29Speaker 1: like that's the kind of vibe Tony gives. So anyway,
- 20:32Speaker 1: so he comes to meet up with her cousin and
- 20:34Speaker 1: he's like hey guys, and she's like yeah, hiybody want
- 20:37Speaker 1: to drink? He's like bourbon neat and we're like okay.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Everything is like there's something about Tony that is trying
- 20:44Speaker 1: so hard. But then Vanya does too, right, like in
- 20:48Speaker 1: their respective ways, they're both try hards. Okay. So the
- 20:53Speaker 1: other thing that you know irks me to my core
- 20:56Speaker 1: is that Vanya supposedly was best friends with Tony for
- 20:59Speaker 1: like a year and a half. No you weren't when
- 21:02Speaker 1: she also was like yeah, but then me also are
- 21:04Speaker 1: like hanging out, but then he had a girlfriend who
- 21:05Speaker 1: was so upset. Well, like, you weren't best friends then
- 21:07Speaker 1: you thought that you were hooking up or hanging out
- 21:09Speaker 1: or you were just friends and you didn't know where
- 21:11Speaker 1: you were yet. And then she says, you know, obviously
- 21:14Speaker 1: we know their boyfriend and girlfriend now. But she's like,
- 21:16Speaker 1: but I haven't talked to him about the celibate part
- 21:18Speaker 1: of me yet. And we're like, bitch, what why? That's
- 21:22Speaker 1: why you date before you like put a label on someone.
- 21:26Speaker 1: That's why. So when you are dating, you are going
- 21:30Speaker 1: to dinners or drinks with someone and you're talking about
- 21:33Speaker 1: the things that you're talking about. Now you are seeing
- 21:37Speaker 1: how he acts as well, Like you're seeing that this
- 21:41Speaker 1: person's like, okay, I have a good night by I'm
- 21:43Speaker 1: gonna go to the bar. Like that's it's a piece
- 21:45Speaker 1: of information that if you are not boyfriend and girlfriend
- 21:47Speaker 1: with someone yet and you get that piece of information,
- 21:50Speaker 1: you know that the person doesn't want to be with you.
- 21:52Speaker 1: You don't have to like pretend that the boyfriend girlfriend
- 21:55Speaker 1: thing happened. Yeah, Like it doesn't make sense for you
- 21:58Speaker 1: want want for you to want someone to be like, yes,
- 22:03Speaker 1: I'll be your boyfriend and not give them the very
- 22:06Speaker 1: real and important conversation that you have your you know,
- 22:11Speaker 1: sexuality slash vagina on lockdown. She can do whatever she
- 22:14Speaker 1: wants with her body. But why would you not have
- 22:17Speaker 1: that conversation before you like make someone say he's your boyfriend? Also,
- 22:21Speaker 1: what have you guys? What have you like? What have
- 22:24Speaker 1: you guys done like sexually sexual wives? And is it
- 22:29Speaker 1: logical to think that you're gonna like make someone be
- 22:31Speaker 1: your boyfriend and girlfriend without like having done much sexual stuff.
- 22:34Speaker 1: None of it makes sense. Everything just feels so like
- 22:38Speaker 1: what are you thirteen? What are you? Like? Is this?
- 22:42Speaker 1: Have you gone into your kaboodle with all your Lisa
- 22:44Speaker 1: Frank makeup and put it all on and you're just
- 22:47Speaker 1: like I really want a boyfriend. That's what happens in
- 22:48Speaker 1: Sweet Valley High. And so you like get this guy
- 22:51Speaker 1: that's like doctor, you think he's a doctor, and he
- 22:53Speaker 1: has a sports car good or read sports cars? So
- 22:55Speaker 1: like nineties, which is everything I'm saying, every reference I'm
- 22:57Speaker 1: saying right now Sweet Fally High. Everything I'm saying, kaboodlies,
- 23:00Speaker 1: there's a reason why, Like that's is this where you
- 23:04Speaker 1: have stopped in your like growth cycle, and so you
- 23:07Speaker 1: still act this way being thirteen or fourteen in the nineties.
- 23:10Speaker 1: I mean that's me I was. I mean, I don't
- 23:12Speaker 1: understand it. I need someone to tell me. Why would
- 23:14Speaker 1: you have someone be your boyfriend without telling them like
- 23:17Speaker 1: anything about how you experience sexuality right now in life?
- 23:20Speaker 1: I just cannot imagine being like, will you be my boyfriend? Good,
- 23:24Speaker 1: I don't have sex. You would have to have like
- 23:26Speaker 1: an honest conversation of what that means, what intimacy means
- 23:29Speaker 1: before you do that. Why does anyone anyway, Okay, I'll
- 23:33Speaker 1: let it go. So basically they all sit down and then,
- 23:36Speaker 1: you know, the fourteen year old god bless wants moores.
- 23:39Speaker 1: So she's like, good, I'm gonna go get smores and
- 23:41Speaker 1: then I'm gonna leave my cousin to grill him, and
- 23:43Speaker 1: she the cousin does, and then Tony gets upset, and
- 23:45Speaker 1: Tony's like, yeah, I'm just really tired. I can't eat
- 23:47Speaker 1: any smores. She's a long day from being a doctor
- 23:49Speaker 1: and just being like super cool and just like running
- 23:51Speaker 1: around in the sports car. I'm tired as fuck. We're
- 23:53Speaker 1: like okay. So then he comes inside and she's like, oh, okay,
- 23:58Speaker 1: no smores for you is everything? Okay? And then he
- 24:02Speaker 1: says that her cousin full on assaulted him. What I'm
- 24:07Speaker 1: sorry when she asked you the questions of do you
- 24:11Speaker 1: are you gonna fuck over my cousin? And why did
- 24:14Speaker 1: you go to a bar afterwards? That was what you
- 24:17Speaker 1: consider a full on assault? What a dramatic cry baby?
- 24:22Speaker 1: And what a little boy? Like? What are this not assault? You? Weirdo?
- 24:28Speaker 1: Oh god, Tony is toxic and Vanya is too desperate
- 24:35Speaker 1: to not see it, and she's really upset. If you
- 24:38Speaker 1: call her desperate online like, she takes it as a
- 24:41Speaker 1: big fucking offense. And girl, then please stop acting that way. Okay,
- 24:45Speaker 1: please stop acting that way. Then just be single. Here's
- 24:49Speaker 1: the thing. Love yourself and be single then, and stop
- 24:52Speaker 1: trying to get with stupid assholes that don't like you,
- 24:55Speaker 1: like are embarrassing girl, like, you can just judge them.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Why don't you want? Don't you just date until you
- 25:02Speaker 1: find someone who truly makes you feel great and makes
- 25:08Speaker 1: you feel great. Doesn't mean take you to one dinner
- 25:11Speaker 1: in like a fancy car that he is like leasing
- 25:14Speaker 1: makes you feel great? I mean it should be this
- 25:17Speaker 1: like inward feeling of safety, security if like me being
- 25:21Speaker 1: a little surprise, and the surprise maybe is that someone's
- 25:26Speaker 1: actions align with their words. They have like commitment that
- 25:31Speaker 1: they say something, they'll do something that they have no
- 25:33Speaker 1: problem making you feel special, good, cherished, wanted. I mean,
- 25:38Speaker 1: you know, like, can we for ourselves find that instead
- 25:41Speaker 1: of like wanting certain boxes checked going on fancy dates?
- 25:46Speaker 1: I don't know, so basically, then, after that really awkward
- 25:50Speaker 1: conversation with his cousin, he's told that he's gonna sleep
- 25:53Speaker 1: downstairs and he's upset about it. He's like, we're used
- 25:55Speaker 1: to thinking she's like upstairs, and he like basically rolls
- 25:57Speaker 1: his eyes like he's a horny teenager, which then makes
- 26:00Speaker 1: me feel, what did you expect you're gonna like come
- 26:03Speaker 1: and fuck her in her cousin's house for her birthday
- 26:05Speaker 1: trip when you haven't had sex yet? How much sex
- 26:07Speaker 1: have you had yet? Because he looks so upset about this,
- 26:09Speaker 1: I'm like, is he used to getting some bej's and
- 26:12Speaker 1: handies and really thought that, like the assault was going
- 26:14Speaker 1: to warrant one of those. Then Vonnie is like, I
- 26:17Speaker 1: don't have to tell you guys, because something else happened
- 26:19Speaker 1: a day and I wasn't able to tell my cousin yet.
- 26:22Speaker 1: And it's even worse, and we're like, is it that
- 26:24Speaker 1: his ex wife reached out to you? Because I bet
- 26:27Speaker 1: you anything, she's very good at communication. Something tells me, okay,
- 26:30Speaker 1: kim BALI honey. So she picks up Larry and Jamal again,
- 26:34Speaker 1: this is Kimberly on the single life, which you know
- 26:37Speaker 1: is interesting because to me it feels not at all
- 26:40Speaker 1: like single life and more like family matters, you know,
- 26:42Speaker 1: which is I mean, come on, so let's just be honest.
- 26:46Speaker 1: So again she's like picking up Like the scene is
- 26:50Speaker 1: that she picks up Larry. Like Larry's staying in the hotel.
- 26:52Speaker 1: You know some hotels San Diego. It's probably really beautiful,
- 26:55Speaker 1: like the JW. Marriott or something. God bless and Jamal
- 26:59Speaker 1: is you know, with her. And I want to say this,
- 27:01Speaker 1: people online are like feeling for Jamal and like Jamal's
- 27:05Speaker 1: situation in this, and I agree. But the reason why
- 27:08Speaker 1: I haven't really talked about Jamal's feeling about this is
- 27:10Speaker 1: because Jamal at this point seems to have forgiven his
- 27:13Speaker 1: mother and on the journey of single life with his mom,
- 27:18Speaker 1: Like it feels like he is, Yeah, it feels like
- 27:21Speaker 1: he is supportive of her. So this this being her journey?
- 27:25Speaker 1: What is that? It's about this being her journey? You know,
- 27:28Speaker 1: It's why I've sort of focused on the bravery of
- 27:32Speaker 1: what she had to do, which is like come clean
- 27:33Speaker 1: with a bunch of stuff that was like really causing
- 27:35Speaker 1: her shame. Now again, I don't quite understand why this
- 27:38Speaker 1: is on single life, but whatever, God bless and she
- 27:42Speaker 1: feels lighter, she feels looser, she feels like she can glow.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Jamal's like, yeah, I'm seeing you glow. You know what
- 27:47Speaker 1: I'm saying. Like even Debbie in the next scene is
- 27:49Speaker 1: gonna be like I'm blinded by the glow of Kimberly.
- 27:51Speaker 1: You know, it's a whole thing. Kimbally, obviously we know
- 27:55Speaker 1: is now kind of on the hunt. Besides her love
- 27:59Speaker 1: for her her daughter, and she had called her daughter Jennifer.
- 28:02Speaker 1: We don't know if Jennifer is that person still name.
- 28:05Speaker 1: I'm sorry that person's name or anything else about that person.
- 28:11Speaker 1: And Kimberly says, it's not so much that my biggest
- 28:14Speaker 1: fear is that my daughter wouldn't want to be one
- 28:17Speaker 1: want to see me. My biggest fears that she's no
- 28:19Speaker 1: longer like on God's Green Earth, or that she needed
- 28:22Speaker 1: me in a way that I wasn't able to give
- 28:23Speaker 1: her something, which in itself is like, well she well
- 28:27Speaker 1: you didn't. I mean, she probably didn't need her birth
- 28:30Speaker 1: mom and that, you know. But I don't know if
- 28:33Speaker 1: she meant like bone marrow or something like that. Later.
- 28:35Speaker 1: So I wonder if we're going to meet Jennifer. We
- 28:38Speaker 1: certainly haven't gotten a picture or anything, but that would
- 28:42Speaker 1: make sense that we wouldn't. But I almost feel like
- 28:44Speaker 1: I cannot imagine that we actually find Jennifer on this
- 28:46Speaker 1: story because if this whole, like if Kimberly's whole Single
- 28:51Speaker 1: life is about family matters, is about putting her family
- 28:55Speaker 1: back together, and if we actually meet Jennifer, why is
- 28:58Speaker 1: this on Single Life? Why wouldn't this be on a
- 29:01Speaker 1: different show? Make it, like then, make a different show,
- 29:05Speaker 1: or give Kimberly a spin off or like, you know,
- 29:07Speaker 1: a three part series, or make it on diaries. I'm
- 29:10Speaker 1: not just or I don't know. I just it's confusing
- 29:14Speaker 1: to me. But Kimberly wants to fly her daughter out,
- 29:16Speaker 1: like I said, And as they talk about this, they
- 29:19Speaker 1: kind of look over and they see some seals, and
- 29:23Speaker 1: she says seals are her favorite animals. She says they
- 29:25Speaker 1: are loud and fat like her. Seals are supposed to
- 29:28Speaker 1: be really really cute. I like seals. Single seals and
- 29:31Speaker 1: pegins are like these aquatic animals that move in ways
- 29:37Speaker 1: that like delight me. Both seals like you gotta flop
- 29:39Speaker 1: around and pangins penguins the way they move just you know,
- 29:43Speaker 1: like tickles my fancy. Kimberly is a you know, has
- 29:48Speaker 1: a lot of positive parts of her To me, She's
- 29:52Speaker 1: not like a toxic reality show person. It almost feels
- 29:57Speaker 1: like the producers find us certain like joy within her
- 30:01Speaker 1: and then are just like kind of giving her this
- 30:04Speaker 1: whole series to you know, like to change her life.
- 30:08Speaker 1: Kind of God, how do I say that? It's not
- 30:10Speaker 1: like I and I say her change her life. It
- 30:12Speaker 1: almost feels like ninety day life glow up ninety day,
- 30:16Speaker 1: you know, let go of the shame, ninety day knew
- 30:20Speaker 1: me or something, which in itself is a cool idea.
- 30:24Speaker 1: It doesn't have to be like nine of d Fiance people,
- 30:26Speaker 1: but if you had someone who had things they had
- 30:30Speaker 1: to go through and you can follow them over more
- 30:34Speaker 1: than one episode, so because it could feel a little
- 30:37Speaker 1: bit like, you know, oh my god, what's the gay
- 30:41Speaker 1: show the Oh no, it's the gay show that is
- 30:44Speaker 1: like the makeover show everyone loves. Oh no, Jonathan Vaness
- 30:49Speaker 1: on it. You know, I'm talking about what are go buss? Oh? Okay.
- 30:52Speaker 1: My corner of the story is if you had a
- 30:55Speaker 1: show where people could really go with over multiple episodes
- 30:59Speaker 1: and release trauma, work through trauma. And that's why you
- 31:05Speaker 1: need more than one episode. It's almost like months of
- 31:07Speaker 1: doing certain things and like following them. I think it'd
- 31:11Speaker 1: be a really beautiful series, like a documentary style series
- 31:16Speaker 1: on healing oneself, because that is technically what Kimberly is doing,
- 31:21Speaker 1: Like she's healing her soul right and like and I
- 31:24Speaker 1: think really and I think that there's a lot of
- 31:26Speaker 1: like hope and positivity. I think it'd be like a
- 31:28Speaker 1: really great show for us to watch, like it's inspiring Kimberly. Also,
- 31:32Speaker 1: if you you know, listen to reality show recap podcasts.
- 31:36Speaker 1: I don't know, like the one you're doing now, please
- 31:38Speaker 1: give me five stars. Go listen to Pink Shade. Kimbally
- 31:43Speaker 1: was on pink Shade and I think also gave a
- 31:45Speaker 1: lot of information about where she is, and she's also
- 31:48Speaker 1: going to get her teeth done. So you know, that's
- 31:50Speaker 1: exciting because I know that that's something that she has
- 31:52Speaker 1: talked about before. And when you there's something to being
- 31:55Speaker 1: able to feel more joy and to be able to
- 31:59Speaker 1: smile and all that. And you know, my heart hurts
- 32:01Speaker 1: for people who don't feel like they enjoy their smile
- 32:05Speaker 1: because of their teeth or I don't know many different
- 32:08Speaker 1: I guess physical things that could happen that makes you
- 32:10Speaker 1: feel like you shouldn't smile, But it's such like a
- 32:13Speaker 1: natural human reaction a smile and to laugh, and so
- 32:17Speaker 1: it must be really like a fucked up thing to
- 32:21Speaker 1: smile or to laugh naturally because something is great or joyous,
- 32:26Speaker 1: and then the minute that happens, also have a thought that,
- 32:28Speaker 1: oh no, don't do that, don't don't smile, don't show
- 32:31Speaker 1: your teeth. It looks bad or it doesn't make me
- 32:34Speaker 1: feel good. I feel whatever a certain way because of
- 32:37Speaker 1: my smile, the way it looks. I haven't had to
- 32:40Speaker 1: deal with that one aspect of looks, you know whatnot
- 32:45Speaker 1: because I got braces when I was really young. But
- 32:48Speaker 1: it must be like a psychologically fucked up thing to
- 32:51Speaker 1: have your mind try and stop your joy in the moment,
- 32:57Speaker 1: because you're self conscious of the way you look, you know,
- 33:00Speaker 1: and that happens a lot, right Like, So the way
- 33:03Speaker 1: I think that I can relate to that is there's
- 33:06Speaker 1: been there's I've never really enjoyed the way I look
- 33:09Speaker 1: in a bathing suit, you know, like maybe if I
- 33:11Speaker 1: have a cover up on, sure, certainly if I have
- 33:13Speaker 1: a sarrong that like kind of you know, starts at
- 33:17Speaker 1: like my waist and like goes and covers like my hips.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Sure whatever, godless, and then I can't be like sitting down.
- 33:22Speaker 1: I have to you know, there's always annoying things that
- 33:25Speaker 1: come into my mind if I'm wearing a bathing suit,
- 33:28Speaker 1: right but in southern California, or if you go on vacation,
- 33:32Speaker 1: oftentimes you find yourself in a bathing suit. And if
- 33:34Speaker 1: you're like in a bathing suit, usually you're in like
- 33:38Speaker 1: a positive, exciting mindset. Maybe you're at a pool, maybe
- 33:41Speaker 1: you're having fun, you're like, you know, on vacation. So like,
- 33:44Speaker 1: I do know what it's like to be in like
- 33:46Speaker 1: a happy environment and then have someone take a picture
- 33:51Speaker 1: and then have to think oh no, and it does suck.
- 33:54Speaker 1: So my heart goes out to Kimberlie for that. And
- 33:57Speaker 1: you know, I know that it's a line of like
- 34:01Speaker 1: changing your looks, right. I certainly talked about how it's
- 34:05Speaker 1: hard to watch the Silver sisters, you know, like with
- 34:07Speaker 1: all of their like different sutures and things on their instagrams,
- 34:11Speaker 1: you know whatnot like putting filler in, getting it dissolved,
- 34:15Speaker 1: who knows what. But I love that for Kimberly. I
- 34:19Speaker 1: hope that she gets you know, like a really great,
- 34:22Speaker 1: beautiful smile that's like done really well, and you know
- 34:25Speaker 1: they've taken care of the dental work that needs to happen.
- 34:27Speaker 1: It's not just uh, for looks only like in America's
- 34:31Speaker 1: Next Top Model kind of way. And I would love
- 34:34Speaker 1: to see her like smile with like, you know, full force,
- 34:36Speaker 1: so I will see what happens. Let's move on to
- 34:43Speaker 1: the best Colt and Courtney. I'm so happy about this.
- 34:46Speaker 1: This is great. So Debbie ka yet no Debbie sha yep,
- 34:51Speaker 1: Cunian Mochel and she's wearing a fucking like judgmental cat
- 34:57Speaker 1: shirt that just goes eh okay with her Canadian lubbrick
- 35:01Speaker 1: that she found honey on the Single Life and she's
- 35:04Speaker 1: in a scooter and she's made her way down from Canada,
- 35:06Speaker 1: and you know, she finds her only son in the
- 35:09Speaker 1: motel in a wheelchair, and she knows why that's happened
- 35:14Speaker 1: and why he's there, and she he says, Coltie says
- 35:18Speaker 1: that his mom, you know, is there to take care
- 35:20Speaker 1: of him and that you know, no one can do
- 35:22Speaker 1: it like his mom. And that's going to come back
- 35:25Speaker 1: to be so interesting to me. So when Coltie's talking
- 35:29Speaker 1: to Debbie, he's like, yeah, Corny's just like crying a lot.
- 35:32Speaker 1: And Debbie's like, well, they'll talk to her, you know,
- 35:35Speaker 1: And Coltie's like, well, she doesn't want to take me back.
- 35:38Speaker 1: Colti's like, I was living. I'm so sorry, Monachi, don't
- 35:42Speaker 1: just make sure I was living at her parents' house
- 35:44Speaker 1: and she's literally taking care of me and I'm like,
- 35:46Speaker 1: can't do anything, truly not. And what I did is
- 35:48Speaker 1: I started cheating on her and sending dick videos to
- 35:51Speaker 1: someone else at her parents' home. That's why. And Debbie
- 35:55Speaker 1: hears that and it's like, I'll make it right. And
- 35:58Speaker 1: we're like, what where y'all deal it? You're like, no, girl. What.
- 36:02Speaker 1: So then Debbie has the audacity to go over to
- 36:07Speaker 1: Courtney's parents' house and Courtney's sweet ass and nine ass parents,
- 36:11Speaker 1: nice ass parents fucking hate Colts now they hate him.
- 36:16Speaker 1: They almost like don't want this woman in their home.
- 36:19Speaker 1: It's also funny because you really, Courtney's parents' house is
- 36:22Speaker 1: like gorgeous, really big, beautiful home, huge like curb appeal
- 36:27Speaker 1: if you will. And there's a moment where I like,
- 36:30Speaker 1: see Debbie must be like driving up to this fucking
- 36:32Speaker 1: home and being like, what the fuck is wrong with cold?
- 36:36Speaker 1: When we say that Colt shit the bed, he shit,
- 36:39Speaker 1: you know, a California king. So then she has to
- 36:42Speaker 1: roll up into this parents home with that meh cat
- 36:45Speaker 1: shirt and her like you know, red cool d eyed
- 36:47Speaker 1: hair with her gray hair is coming through, and she's like,
- 36:52Speaker 1: you know what, I just have to convince Courtney to
- 36:55Speaker 1: give Colt one last chance. I need to convince Courtney
- 36:58Speaker 1: that it would be a mistake if she didn't. And
- 37:01Speaker 1: we're like, that's not true, though, it would be a
- 37:05Speaker 1: huge mistake if she did. Huge. Now when she gets there,
- 37:08Speaker 1: her parents are scooping out something I don't like if
- 37:11Speaker 1: it's Cantalope I'm like, what do you scooping? Honey? And
- 37:13Speaker 1: then Debbie comes in, you know, like she hugs Courtney.
- 37:18Speaker 1: They have only talked on FaceTime. Fred, who is Courtney's dad,
- 37:22Speaker 1: fucking hates colts. He's like, oh, I'm sorry, cold, hurt,
- 37:25Speaker 1: are flesh and blood. And we're sitting here as nice people.
- 37:28Speaker 1: You think we're super cute. We just think, what does
- 37:30Speaker 1: golf all goddamn day. I'll tell you right now that
- 37:32Speaker 1: if my daughter wasn't on television right now, if I could,
- 37:36Speaker 1: his body would be in the desert. My name's Fred.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Know this, By the grace of God, my daughter met
- 37:43Speaker 1: someone on a reality show and he fucked her up
- 37:45Speaker 1: like this, and I can't kill him. I can't. They'll
- 37:49Speaker 1: come back on us, unfortunately. But like he winks so
- 37:52Speaker 1: literally at camera. This is where it gets really awkward,
- 37:57Speaker 1: and I'm so happy for Courtney, who like knows it.
- 38:00Speaker 1: You know. Debbie comes in with like, well, you know,
- 38:03Speaker 1: he really thinks that if you gave him another chance,
- 38:06Speaker 1: you know, he just wouldn't do it again. And she's like,
- 38:07Speaker 1: oh no, he would actually keep doing it. Come on,
- 38:09Speaker 1: you haven't met your son. I wish Corney would be
- 38:12Speaker 1: like oh, Debbie, you you have raised an absolute fucking
- 38:16Speaker 1: asshole for a son. Why the only like he is
- 38:20Speaker 1: going to keep doing it just like he did it
- 38:22Speaker 1: to everyone else. Why are you lying to me? Do
- 38:25Speaker 1: you lie to yourself like this every night? Because you're
- 38:27Speaker 1: not gonna lie to me in my parents' home. I've
- 38:29Speaker 1: had enough lies from your fucking family. Like what, you
- 38:32Speaker 1: can roll right out of here, honey, like I you know,
- 38:35Speaker 1: I mean I used to like Debbie, but like this scene,
- 38:37Speaker 1: absolutely not. So Corney even goes as far, which is true,
- 38:41Speaker 1: to call Debbie an enabler. I'm like, yeah, but it's
- 38:44Speaker 1: much more than being an enabler. And I think that
- 38:45Speaker 1: Corny knows this. Debbie doesn't want responsibility of the monster
- 38:50Speaker 1: that she created, and now the monster can't walk, has
- 38:54Speaker 1: no money, can't walk, no money, And this bitch is like,
- 38:58Speaker 1: not my problem? Can he still You're a problem? Like no?
- 39:02Speaker 1: Corney's like no, I just I just need to give
- 39:04Speaker 1: him back to Debbie and be like, good luck. There
- 39:06Speaker 1: is no world in which I would get back with cold,
- 39:10Speaker 1: So she can just honey, pack it up, take him
- 39:13Speaker 1: back to Canada. Blame Canada. I don't want to make
- 39:16Speaker 1: that joke a lot, you know, but just take them
- 39:18Speaker 1: with you, because that is the best part. The best
- 39:21Speaker 1: part is like I didn't have anywhere to go after
- 39:23Speaker 1: hunt for love and no one to take me in
- 39:25Speaker 1: and blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. But now
- 39:26Speaker 1: certainly he does. He has two people right here. If
- 39:31Speaker 1: he does not get on a plane with his mom, Debbie,
- 39:35Speaker 1: then you know, two things, Debbie and him aren't fucking shit.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Debbie should put him right in that little weird basket
- 39:42Speaker 1: in the back of her moped and then screwed him
- 39:45Speaker 1: right to Canada. And I don't know, like, let him
- 39:48Speaker 1: realize that he's going to live with his mom for
- 39:49Speaker 1: the rest of his life. Every chance he's ever had
- 39:51Speaker 1: to be with a normal woman, it's been taken away
- 39:54Speaker 1: from him. And he had chances to be with not
- 39:56Speaker 1: normal women, and those chances have been taken away. He's
- 39:59Speaker 1: had every chance. He He's been with Brazilian hot headed ladies.
- 40:02Speaker 1: He's been with young Brazilian hot headed ladies. He's been with,
- 40:06Speaker 1: you know, like Latina American ladies. He's been with blonde
- 40:09Speaker 1: Like every one of them isn't gonna work, so might
- 40:12Speaker 1: as well go back to Debbie and just like, you know,
- 40:14Speaker 1: masturbate for the rest of your life gooner style, you know,
- 40:17Speaker 1: and hopefully your stepdad doesn't hear you. That's it, and
- 40:20Speaker 1: I kind of love it. I do love it great
- 40:23Speaker 1: Like I hope to God that this rest of the
- 40:25Speaker 1: season of Single Life, like or if there's any more episodes.
- 40:27Speaker 1: I want to see Courtney go on dates. I want
- 40:30Speaker 1: to see Courtney go on a date. I want to
- 40:33Speaker 1: see anyone go on a date, Like what the fuck Kimberly,
- 40:36Speaker 1: no Courtney, no Sophie, And like, maybe there are no
- 40:39Speaker 1: dates on this show. There are no like fun meeting people.
- 40:42Speaker 1: The amount of like actual dating or single lifing. It's
- 40:47Speaker 1: just or maybe the whole point is it's actually single life,
- 40:50Speaker 1: but maybe I just didn't know the format of the show,
- 40:52Speaker 1: and the format of the show is no one actually
- 40:53Speaker 1: fucking dates. It's just super singles being single, always single.
- 40:58Speaker 1: God though, we'll see Thank you so much for listening.

- 42:14Speaker 1: do our breaths, and then I'll let you go. All right,
- 42:16Speaker 1: my babes, Why why are we breathing? Because it certainly
- 42:20Speaker 1: someone has to in this world breathing just to make
- 42:22Speaker 1: sure that we're alive, you know, breathing so we can
- 42:24Speaker 1: feel ourselves, you know, breathing that we just check in
- 42:27Speaker 1: what is actually happening with us? How do we feel?
- 42:29Speaker 2: I like to just put my hands on my thighs
- 42:33Speaker 2: and sort of like master bait, just kidding, No, I
- 42:36Speaker 2: like to just feel a little bit of friction as
- 42:38Speaker 2: I start the process, just like I feel the sense
- 42:41Speaker 2: of touch on both my hands and you know, my
- 42:45Speaker 2: legs or feet on the floor that kind of like
- 42:47Speaker 2: grounding feeling, or when they say like you know, but
- 42:50Speaker 2: butt sit bones where you just take a moment to
- 42:54Speaker 2: actually feel your body in space and then use a
- 42:57Speaker 2: sense of your choosing to bring your mind into the
- 43:01Speaker 2: present moment like your breath that's not really sense. Or
- 43:04Speaker 2: you can use my voice but something happening in the room,
- 43:07Speaker 2: so that you can quiet any thoughts of the past
- 43:11Speaker 2: or any planning for the future, but be present, just
- 43:14Speaker 2: be like where am I right now?
- 43:16Speaker 1: Here? Good? I am safe. I get to just breathe
- 43:20Speaker 1: and know that I existed perfectly in this moment, and
- 43:26Speaker 1: odds are that'll continue. So let's do the work. Two
- 43:30Speaker 1: breaths more. You are here, and so am I. Okay,
- 43:34Speaker 1: my babes, take care of yourselves and one another, stand
- 43:38Speaker 1: up way you believe make art? Are you enjoying The Comeback?
- 43:40Speaker 1: Talk about art? Oh? My god? Can you just imagine
- 43:42Speaker 1: just one side note? When I say talk about art,
- 43:44Speaker 1: it comes in so many ways. And one way that
- 43:47Speaker 1: it can come is someone like Lisa Kuduro and other
- 43:50Speaker 1: people making a television show that has three seasons and
- 43:54Speaker 1: every season has ten years in between them. If you
- 43:57Speaker 1: are a fan of The Comeback, it's on right now.
- 43:59Speaker 1: The third season so airs on Sundays. That means if
- 44:02Speaker 1: you're listening to that, it's the second episode has already dropped.
- 44:05Speaker 1: Could be a fun thing to watch, and by could be,
- 44:07Speaker 1: it's the funnest thing possible for me. I hope you
- 44:10Speaker 1: enjoy it as well. All right, my loves. Like I
- 44:12Speaker 1: said all of that, take care of yourselves and one another,
- 44:14Speaker 1: standing up what you believe, make art, and I'll talk
- 44:16Speaker 1: to you later. Okay. Bye,
