- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, Monday, fun day. Hope you guys recovered. Hope
- 0:03Speaker 1: you didn't have the Chargers in Survivor. It was one
- 0:07Speaker 1: wild weekend. Certainly, if you had Ohio State on Saturday night,
- 0:12Speaker 1: also a little crazy. It is the best betting show ever,
- 0:15Speaker 1: but we got one more game coming up tonight to
- 0:17Speaker 1: round out week one in the NFL, and we're going
- 0:19Speaker 1: to do it in a press-free zone here with, oh,
- 0:23Speaker 1: Brian Power.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Oh, Jesus.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Art DeCesar in the house as well. Always a pleasure
- 0:28Speaker 1: to see you, BP.
- 0:30Speaker 2: I'm kidding.
- 0:31Speaker 1: But we got a lot to get over, a lot
- 0:33Speaker 1: to go over, in fact, on what happened here this
- 0:36Speaker 1: past weekend. Art, to you, what's the thing that stuck
- 0:39Speaker 1: out the most here for you this weekend?
- 0:42Speaker 3: Well, obviously in the NFL, a lot of points, right?
- 0:45Speaker 4: I mean, a lot of overs, a lot of people,
- 0:49Speaker 4: especially the public with the favorites of the overs, probably
- 0:51Speaker 4: wasn't a good weekend, you know, or at least Sunday,
- 0:55Speaker 4: goes for bookmakers because whenever you get favorites and overs,
- 0:58Speaker 4: that is a recipe for disaster.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Yeah, it certainly is. BP, how about you? What stuck
- 1:04Speaker 2: out to you this weekend?
- 1:05Speaker 5: Well, Art, I concur. That's what I was going to
- 1:08Speaker 5: say about the NFL, all the points. Let's go to
- 1:10Speaker 5: Saturday in college. I wish I would have trusted my
- 1:12Speaker 5: power ratings a little bit more, Joe, because there were
- 1:14Speaker 5: a lot of games I left off and they would
- 1:17Speaker 5: have won. Nevertheless, I'll take a two-in-one Saturday in college.
- 1:23Speaker 5: unfortunately nfl didn't go as well um i assume we're
- 1:27Speaker 5: going to talk about the slater art but that texas
- 1:30Speaker 5: winning by one probably had to be a disaster for
- 1:33Speaker 5: the books i would imagine that was probably a what
- 1:38Speaker 5: we call a worst case scenario behind the counter i reckon.
- 1:41Speaker 4: I would totally agree with that because obviously all your
- 1:45Speaker 4: Texas money lines cover the people who took Ohio state
- 1:48Speaker 4: one and a half. They cover, I mean, listen, I'm
- 1:50Speaker 4: sure there were plenty of people who had Ohio state
- 1:52Speaker 4: on the money line as well. When you deal a one,
- 1:54Speaker 4: one and a half game in that range, you're going
- 1:56Speaker 4: to get, you know, both sides. And I'm sure, you know,
- 1:59Speaker 4: the action on the game was incredible to, so to
- 2:01Speaker 4: kind of get screwed on two sides of the.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Coin, not, not great.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Yeah. I, yeah.
- 2:08Speaker 1: For me in the NFL yesterday, I, I just, I'm sorry,
- 2:14Speaker 1: I didn't see 90 points in a Bears and Panthers game,
- 2:17Speaker 1: but there was more scoring, the most scoring we've seen
- 2:20Speaker 1: in week one in the history of the NFL. So
- 2:24Speaker 1: I don't know if that says more about, usually defenses
- 2:28Speaker 1: are better than offenses early on, but that's a trend
- 2:31Speaker 1: worth keeping an eye on. I have no explanation for it,
- 2:35Speaker 1: to tell you the truth, PP. Most of those guys
- 2:37Speaker 1: never even played in the preseason.
- 2:40Speaker 5: And what was so fascinating is the Wednesday and Thursday
- 2:43Speaker 5: games where you're talking about four of the better teams
- 2:45Speaker 5: in the league, they were all so low scoring. The
- 2:47Speaker 5: offensive execution was pretty pathetic. So it was the last
- 2:50Speaker 5: thing I was looking for. I was actually having a
- 2:52Speaker 5: bit of a battle with my brother-in-law on our unlimited streams.
- 2:56Speaker 5: That's a different story for a different day. So I
- 2:57Speaker 5: was missing all the scores. I had two TVs up
- 3:00Speaker 5: and I'm battling to get my last stream up. And
- 3:03Speaker 5: all I kept seeing was points, points, points on the TVs.
- 3:06Speaker 5: I'm like, oh my God, it was so hard to
- 3:07Speaker 5: keep up. In all seriousness, and I also took one
- 3:11Speaker 5: on the chin. My top play yesterday was the under
- 3:13Speaker 5: in the Packers-Vikings game. I felt like the one loser
- 3:18Speaker 5: I had Saturday in college was on the Syracuse-Cal game.
- 3:21Speaker 5: I thought Syracuse was the better side, just self-inflicted wounds.
- 3:24Speaker 2: That's a bet.
- 3:25Speaker 5: I always talk about this. I always go over after
- 3:27Speaker 5: the weekend or after any day my bets. Would I
- 3:29Speaker 5: have made this bet again? Did I see something wrong?
- 3:32Speaker 5: I would have made as bad as it ended up
- 3:34Speaker 5: that Packers-Vikings under. I don't think it was a bad bet.
- 3:37Speaker 5: It was just every time it seemed like we were
- 3:40Speaker 5: getting some momentum and the scoring halted, something would happen
- 3:44Speaker 5: to just turn the game on its head. And, Art,
- 3:47Speaker 5: congrats to you. I know that Vikings comeback, just the
- 3:51Speaker 5: way you drew it off with Carson Wentz, was.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Exactly what you needed, man.
- 3:56Speaker 1: God, when Mini-Me went out like the first two minutes,
- 3:59Speaker 1: I was like, it's, oh boy, Carson Wentz has got
- 4:02Speaker 1: to come in.
- 4:03Speaker 2: It's not going to be good here.
- 4:05Speaker 1: But it was a fun weekend, to say the least here.
- 4:09Speaker 1: So we had some great games, some chaotic games, which
- 4:12Speaker 1: means what does Monday Night Football have in store for
- 4:16Speaker 1: us here? Kansas City at home, taking on Denver, currently
- 4:20Speaker 1: seeing two and a half here.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Art, what are you hearing? What are you seeing here,
- 4:24Speaker 2: my man?
- 4:25Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, obviously a really good Monday night game,
- 4:27Speaker 4: divisional game. Listen, you know, this thing at some point
- 4:31Speaker 4: was as high as three. Obviously a little bit of
- 4:34Speaker 4: Bronco money has come in, total of 43 and a half,
- 4:37Speaker 4: low total in.
- 4:38Speaker 3: A divisional game.
- 4:39Speaker 4: You know, I think there are plenty of people who
- 4:41Speaker 4: probably still have open-ended things, whether it's Broncos on teasers,
- 4:46Speaker 4: you know, there's probably some chief money line love. still
- 4:49Speaker 4: out there with the public because the public still loves
- 4:51Speaker 4: the Chiefs regardless. But this to me feels like public
- 4:54Speaker 4: will take the Chiefs. Sharps are already on Denver. That
- 4:56Speaker 4: kind of feels like the split.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Yeah. What are we thinking here, BP?
- 5:01Speaker 1: I mean, given all the scoring that we just watched yesterday,
- 5:06Speaker 1: does that continue with these two teams?
- 5:08Speaker 2: Is it more defensive? I don't know at this point.
- 5:11Speaker 5: Yeah, just real quick with the terms of the spread,
- 5:14Speaker 5: I'm looking here at the odd screen. I don't know
- 5:16Speaker 5: if Art's seeing the same thing. It looks like one
- 5:18Speaker 5: of the sharper books, if not the sharpest, has actually
- 5:20Speaker 5: moved that number to two already, which is pretty interesting.
- 5:24Speaker 3: Circa BP?
- 5:25Speaker 5: Yes, that's exactly what I was referring to. I want
- 5:27Speaker 5: to talk about the total, though, because I think it's
- 5:30Speaker 5: kind of fascinating here. If you look at the first
- 5:33Speaker 5: half total, that number has dropped below the key number
- 5:38Speaker 5: of 21. It's now 20 and a half is the
- 5:42Speaker 5: first half. And then the full game total, as we
- 5:46Speaker 5: bring that up, that has actually gone up to 43
- 5:48Speaker 5: and a half. My thought is, okay, the three, now
- 5:53Speaker 5: it might just be coincidence. The three primetime games have
- 5:55Speaker 5: stayed under so far. So I want to bet the
- 6:00Speaker 5: under here, but it's, it's very interesting. I ultimately laid
- 6:03Speaker 5: off the game. I don't have anything for the clients.
- 6:04Speaker 5: I'll be honest, but I think the most telling thing
- 6:06Speaker 5: here is the first half, is the unders taking money
- 6:09Speaker 5: for the first half, but the overs taking money for
- 6:12Speaker 5: full game. I don't know if Art has anything interesting
- 6:15Speaker 5: on that, but that's what stuck out to me when
- 6:16Speaker 5: I was handicapping the game and looking at the movement
- 6:18Speaker 5: this morning.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Listen, I don't know what we're getting from Mahomes and
- 6:26Speaker 1: Kansas City, and that to me is the biggest problem.
- 6:28Speaker 1: I lean, despite what we saw yesterday across the NFL here,
- 6:33Speaker 1: I mean, we didn't get it over in the Jets game,
- 6:35Speaker 1: and I had that. So I did have the Jets,
- 6:38Speaker 1: by the way, in one of my survivor picks. So
- 6:40Speaker 1: you can all laugh at me all you want there.
- 6:43Speaker 1: But I do think Denver is a little bit better
- 6:47Speaker 1: than what the market thinks they're going to be here.
- 6:50Speaker 1: And don't forget, I mean, new OC now. We've got
- 6:53Speaker 1: a new old OC here for Kansas City, right? You
- 6:56Speaker 1: move on from Matt Nagy.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Yeah. which is good.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Isn't Josh Simmons missing this game, the left tackle for
- 7:05Speaker 1: Kansas City?
- 7:05Speaker 2: I don't think he's going to be on.
- 7:08Speaker 1: They're expecting undrafted rookies to be on the offensive line
- 7:12Speaker 1: to replace him. I don't think they're getting him back
- 7:14Speaker 1: for another week or so. Weather-wise, BP, it looked like
- 7:19Speaker 1: it was going to be a pretty windy night here,
- 7:22Speaker 1: which will also be interesting to keep an eye on.
- 7:24Speaker 1: But I just, I'm not sure offensively what we're getting
- 7:28Speaker 1: from Kansas city. I think I know what we're going
- 7:31Speaker 1: to get from Denver here, which is going to be
- 7:34Speaker 1: a lot of moving the chains. If I'm Peyton art,
- 7:36Speaker 1: I don't want to shoot out.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Right.
- 7:39Speaker 3: No, no, definitely not.
- 7:40Speaker 4: And listen, all that might mean a Kansas city team
- 7:43Speaker 4: total under, you know, you could start, start looking that way.
- 7:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:47Speaker 4: I mean, obviously listen, Denver's whole thing is run the ball,
- 7:49Speaker 4: play good defense and, get their quarterback out in space,
- 7:52Speaker 4: little rollouts, dink and dunk a little bit. Now they
- 7:55Speaker 4: did add Waddle. So the offense eventually will get better.
- 7:58Speaker 4: But in a game like this, you go on the
- 8:00Speaker 4: road and want to win in week one.
- 8:01Speaker 3: That's how you're going to play.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Does it get to three? It doesn't look like it.
- 8:06Speaker 2: It looks like it might go to two instead of three. Yeah.
- 8:10Speaker 5: Yeah. Um, I'll say this. Let's not forget about this, guys. Obviously,
- 8:14Speaker 5: on the broadcast and all the lead-up to all the
- 8:17Speaker 5: analysis is going to focus primarily on Mahomes and his return.
- 8:20Speaker 5: We have two starting quarterbacks coming off injuries. Bo Nix, obviously,
- 8:24Speaker 5: hurt his ankle, missed the AFC Championship game. I just
- 8:27Speaker 5: think this is going to be a low-scoring game. For me,
- 8:30Speaker 5: the reason I couldn't get him up, I couldn't decide
- 8:32Speaker 5: if I liked the first half under or the full
- 8:35Speaker 5: game under.
- 8:36Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 8:36Speaker 5: Maybe split. Worst you do is one and one there.
- 8:40Speaker 5: So that's what I got off here. I do think
- 8:42Speaker 5: this will be a lower scoring game because Denver's not
- 8:44Speaker 5: going to win in the shootout and Kansas City's offense,
- 8:48Speaker 5: even if Mahomes is better than you expect, I mean,
- 8:50Speaker 5: it's not going to be the Chiefs of old, in
- 8:52Speaker 5: my opinion.
- 8:54Speaker 2: It can't be.
- 8:54Speaker 1: I mean, Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelsey, and their prime days
- 8:58Speaker 1: are long gone, and I just don't know that we're
- 9:01Speaker 1: going to see that again.
- 9:02Speaker 2: I do think it'll be a defensive battle. I would
- 9:04Speaker 2: lean to the under.
- 9:05Speaker 1: It's supposed to be double-digit wins there at Arrowhead tonight,
- 9:08Speaker 1: so We'll see how that lands and how that eventually goes.
- 9:12Speaker 1: But in the meantime, we've got some sharp bets here. Art,
- 9:16Speaker 1: a lot of Major League Baseball, of course, Monday Night Football.
- 9:20Speaker 1: What are you hearing right now?
- 9:23Speaker 3: Three sides in MLB. Cubs, Blue Jays, Diamondbacks.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Interesting. Blue Jays and Diamondbacks. Arizona, did they win enough
- 9:33Speaker 2: games this weekend? Probably not. No, they did not.
- 9:37Speaker 3: San Diego doesn't lose.
- 9:39Speaker 1: San Diego doesn't lose, and they can't beat the Rangers,
- 9:41Speaker 1: so I do not understand Arizona at all in that
- 9:44Speaker 1: spot there. All right, parlay of the day here, gentlemen.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Got some baseball, got the Monday night game, so BP.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Kick us off.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Where are we looking here for the first leg of
- 9:55Speaker 1: the parlay today?
- 9:57Speaker 2: And I should say, Art, did we not cash... our
- 10:00Speaker 2: college football parlay?
- 10:02Speaker 3: The college football parlay, we did cash.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Outstanding.
- 10:06Speaker 3: On Thursday.
- 10:07Speaker 2: On Thursday, yeah.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Thursday is the college football parlay. Friday is the NFL.
- 10:13Speaker 1: parlay and i don't know how the hell that worked
- 10:15Speaker 1: out uh so bp kick us off here what are
- 10:18Speaker 1: we thinking for a best bet.
- 10:21Speaker 5: Let's go angels in the first five are there some
- 10:24Speaker 5: concerns with the angels sure there are they're not a
- 10:26Speaker 5: good baseball team overall they're returning home from a nine
- 10:29Speaker 5: game road trip they got swept over the weekend uh
- 10:31Speaker 5: by the nationals bullpen's not that good but we're getting
- 10:35Speaker 5: them out of the equation by playing this in the
- 10:37Speaker 5: first five. Guys, this is all about one guy, Reed Detmers.
- 10:40Speaker 5: Over the last 10 starts, Reed Detmers has the lowest
- 10:42Speaker 5: ERA in all of Major League Baseball. Over the last
- 10:46Speaker 5: six starts, his ERA is below one. He's given up
- 10:50Speaker 5: three total runs in those six starts. Yes, the Angels
- 10:54Speaker 5: struggle to score, but I'm pretty confident Detmers can keep
- 10:57Speaker 5: Seattle off the board. Seattle is a corpse right now.
- 11:01Speaker 5: They lose in walk-off fashion on Sunday to the A's.
- 11:05Speaker 5: One of the worst offenses in baseball. As long as
- 11:09Speaker 5: Detmers doesn't give up a run, the worst we can
- 11:10Speaker 5: do is push in the first five. So Angels first
- 11:14Speaker 5: five money line to get things going.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Angels first five. Art, what are we thinking, my man?
- 11:19Speaker 4: Big series, biggest series this week. Guardians and White Sox.
- 11:24Speaker 4: White Sox, it is slipping away. Give me the Guardians
- 11:28Speaker 4: at home with the better pitching.
- 11:31Speaker 1: I'll take the Denver Broncos. I'll take them because I
- 11:34Speaker 1: think this does eventually go to two. I'll sprinkle them
- 11:37Speaker 1: on the money line here in a little three-legger and
- 11:41Speaker 1: make this a quality three-leg parlay.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Of the day there.
- 11:45Speaker 1: All right, predictive markets here. So we're getting to be
- 11:49Speaker 1: about that time, guys, where we've got to... Some of
- 11:54Speaker 1: the future markets are going to start coming to fruition,
- 11:57Speaker 1: especially in Major League Baseball here, right?
- 12:00Speaker 2: So we're going to have some fun... Are we still
- 12:05Speaker 2: sold on the Dodgers, BP?
- 12:07Speaker 1: Is it the Dodgers to win, to lose, even with
- 12:09Speaker 1: the issues of Otani? Or are there some question marks
- 12:13Speaker 1: in your mind still with Major League Baseball's not only
- 12:17Speaker 1: National League pennant winner, but World Series winner?
- 12:21Speaker 5: Well, I think it's... I don't know. Settled isn't the
- 12:25Speaker 5: right word, but I think it's kind of straightforward what
- 12:27Speaker 5: the National League is going to look like in the playoffs. Milwaukee,
- 12:29Speaker 5: it would appear, is going to have home field advantage again.
- 12:31Speaker 5: The concern always with the Brewers is you win with
- 12:35Speaker 5: home runs in the playoffs and the Brewers just don't
- 12:37Speaker 5: hit home runs, which is kind of their undoing. As
- 12:40Speaker 5: long as the Dodgers get a top two seed, you know,
- 12:42Speaker 5: they get that first round by, I would tend to
- 12:45Speaker 5: still say, yes, it is theirs to lose in the
- 12:48Speaker 5: National League. Atlanta should be the three seed. Cubs and Phillies,
- 12:52Speaker 5: That's going to be a tough wildcard series, and it
- 12:54Speaker 5: does look like San Diego will get the last wildcard spot. So, yeah,
- 12:57Speaker 5: Dodgers still a deserved favorite, even though Milwaukee's probably going
- 13:01Speaker 5: to earn home field, Joe.
- 13:03Speaker 2: What are you thinking? Are it still questions?
- 13:06Speaker 1: Because anybody but the Dodgers, for me, at this particular point.
- 13:11Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, I remember talking probably a month ago
- 13:14Speaker 4: with you about this in this segment, and we kind
- 13:16Speaker 4: of felt, hey, look another way.
- 13:18Speaker 3: Listen, the Dodgers....
- 13:21Speaker 4: Should be the favorite, like BP said, but if you're
- 13:22Speaker 4: looking for value, maybe it's some other team, maybe one
- 13:25Speaker 4: of the central teams, Cubs or Brewers.
- 13:28Speaker 3: I don't mind that angle.
- 13:29Speaker 4: Hopping over to the American League, I got off my Yankees,
- 13:32Speaker 4: but now I'm back on them because I just think
- 13:34Speaker 4: the American League is so weak and the Yankee pitching
- 13:37Speaker 4: is so good, especially with the bullpen, especially with the
- 13:41Speaker 4: starters they can throw out there. schlittler freed and cole
- 13:44Speaker 4: that's your first three in a series home field you
- 13:48Speaker 4: know when they get home field and they get games
- 13:50Speaker 4: they won't have home field because they're gonna they won't
- 13:53Speaker 4: win the division but it just feels like the yankees
- 13:56Speaker 4: are gonna make it yeah i still see three to
- 13:57Speaker 4: one out there for them to win the pennant it
- 13:59Speaker 4: just feels like the yankees is good value yeah.
- 14:02Speaker 1: It's crazy let me see if i can uh if
- 14:04Speaker 1: i can get this up on the screen i'll show
- 14:06Speaker 1: you what uh what it looks like because that's a
- 14:09Speaker 1: very interesting market right now. And that's going to be
- 14:12Speaker 1: the American league champion. Look at those prices art for
- 14:16Speaker 1: the Yankees, Tampa and Boston right now. So 26, 24,
- 14:19Speaker 1: is it fair enough to say BP? Those are the
- 14:23Speaker 1: three teams really want one of those three.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Okay.
- 14:26Speaker 5: What's fascinating is the way the bracket is going to
- 14:29Speaker 5: break in the American league. Those three teams are going
- 14:31Speaker 5: to be in the same half of the bracket. Can you,
- 14:34Speaker 5: can you, can you show the rest of, Because what's
- 14:36Speaker 5: fascinating to me is between the Central and the West,
- 14:42Speaker 5: one of those teams gets to the ALCS. So if
- 14:44Speaker 5: there's somebody you like there, what do we always talk
- 14:47Speaker 5: about these predicted markets? It's not about winning. It's about
- 14:51Speaker 5: somebody just getting there and then you can sell off.
- 14:54Speaker 5: So if you like someone in that White Sox, Houston, Cleveland, Toronto,
- 14:58Speaker 5: Texas group, somebody's numbers can go way up. One of
- 15:01Speaker 5: those teams is getting to the ALCS this year. Oh,
- 15:04Speaker 5: by the way, Joe, I'm going to be at the
- 15:05Speaker 5: ballpark on Wednesday for that white Sox guardian series.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Are you really? Yes.
- 15:09Speaker 5: If you want to come up, I got a ticket
- 15:11Speaker 5: for you. Just like always Joe. But in all seriousness,
- 15:14Speaker 5: in all seriousness, yeah, you look Houston, their record against
- 15:19Speaker 5: playoff teams has been very good. They obviously dug themselves
- 15:21Speaker 5: a big hole. I do not trust the white Sox
- 15:22Speaker 5: in the playoffs at all. No, even if they do it, look,
- 15:26Speaker 5: I'm holding a five to one ticket on them to
- 15:28Speaker 5: win this division. So I'm going to be probably really
- 15:30Speaker 5: quiet when I'm at the ballpark on Wednesday because I'm
- 15:31Speaker 5: going to be rooting for the other team. So– but, yeah,
- 15:35Speaker 5: I mean, even if they win the division and get
- 15:38Speaker 5: a bye, I don't trust the White Sox in a
- 15:39Speaker 5: playoff situation. I think the Astros maybe at 10%. I
- 15:42Speaker 5: know you guys have talked about them on the show.
- 15:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:46Speaker 5: There might be worth some investment there at yes for
- 15:49Speaker 5: 10 cents.
- 15:50Speaker 1: I mean, my question is, Art– The Yankees have been
- 15:54Speaker 1: ended today, right? Yankees take on Boston. Is that how
- 15:57Speaker 1: that works? And then Tampa's got the bye. Yeah.
- 16:00Speaker 5: And they would have the winner of Yankees, Boston.
- 16:02Speaker 2: And they'd have the winner of Yankees.
- 16:03Speaker 1: So my question is Yankees play Boston Yankees win.
- 16:06Speaker 2: What do they then go to? Do we think that's
- 16:11Speaker 2: the question?
- 16:12Speaker 1: Cause it would just be what Yankees then take on Tampa, right?
- 16:16Speaker 1: And then a winner of that would take on whatever
- 16:18Speaker 1: is left on the other side. I got to think
- 16:21Speaker 1: there'd be at least a 10 cent jump here once
- 16:25Speaker 1: they beat Boston, no?
- 16:28Speaker 2: Well, yeah.
- 16:28Speaker 3: I mean, what is it right now? Is Boston sitting
- 16:30Speaker 3: there third?
- 16:31Speaker 2: 14 cents.
- 16:33Speaker 4: Okay, so you knock Boston out, you knock the third
- 16:35Speaker 4: team out, now you go play the one team. Now, listen,
- 16:37Speaker 4: Tampa's good and they give the problems, but Yeah, you
- 16:41Speaker 4: would think that'd be a pretty good move there because
- 16:43Speaker 4: I think there's probably people who feel Boston has a
- 16:46Speaker 4: better shot than maybe even Tampa. Maybe the odds don't
- 16:49Speaker 4: reflect that, but there could be people who feel the
- 16:52Speaker 4: winner of the Yankee-Boston series is going to win the pennant.
- 16:55Speaker 1: They're a two cent favorite over Tampa to win the
- 16:58Speaker 1: American League pennant. I mean, Tampa's 24 cents. Yankees are 26.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Yankees beat Boston, waiting Tampa. They're already the favorite. So
- 17:06Speaker 1: I don't know anything as crazy is going to change
- 17:08Speaker 1: between now and then. So if you like the Yankees,
- 17:10Speaker 1: jump on them now at this point, because if they
- 17:14Speaker 1: do make it to the pennant, right, against.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Whoever it is on the other side.
- 17:20Speaker 3: And they'll be a big favorite.
- 17:21Speaker 2: They'll be a huge favorite. Will they not be, Pete?
- 17:24Speaker 3: Huge.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 17:25Speaker 5: I mean, what do you guys think about that? The
- 17:28Speaker 5: also ran half of the bracket for last year.
- 17:30Speaker 2: That's a great point. That's a great point.
- 17:32Speaker 5: I mean, is there anybody in there, though, that you
- 17:35Speaker 5: guys would point to? Like, I just, it's tough. I
- 17:39Speaker 5: don't trust this guardians team at all. It looks like
- 17:41Speaker 5: maybe for a second straight September, they might prove me wrong.
- 17:44Speaker 5: But I mean, I think Houston might be the best
- 17:47Speaker 5: pick of the litter, so to speak in that group,
- 17:49Speaker 5: especially if they're able to get a first round by. Yeah.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:53Speaker 2: It's so hard. I mean, it's like what? Cleveland, just
- 17:58Speaker 2: when you think it's... Oh, yeah, this team. They got no.
- 18:01Speaker 1: They win these 3-2, 2-1 playoff games, and next thing
- 18:05Speaker 1: you know, they play small ball better than anybody else.
- 18:08Speaker 2: I just don't know about... And they got two really
- 18:09Speaker 2: good pitchers. Yes. It's like.
- 18:12Speaker 1: And Houston's got the bats. I don't trust the starting pitching,
- 18:16Speaker 1: but I know they got the bullpen, so.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Experience matters here, and I think Vladdy finally hit a
- 18:23Speaker 1: home run in.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Toronto, so maybe... He did. Right? So.
- 18:27Speaker 1: But that other rant is that now is a great
- 18:29Speaker 1: time because somebody's coming out of that side.
- 18:33Speaker 2: Yeah, to the bottom half. And you know what?
- 18:36Speaker 1: They're going to be at a much better price than
- 18:37Speaker 1: the $ 0. 08 or $ 0. 09 that they are right now there.
- 18:41Speaker 1: So don't forget, still opportunities here to be able to
- 18:44Speaker 1: jump in on these predictive markets and cash out. You
- 18:48Speaker 1: don't have to have the event actually take place. You
- 18:51Speaker 1: don't need the Yankees to win something. You just need
- 18:54Speaker 1: them to win enough to be able to get repriced
- 18:56Speaker 1: and make yourself a pretty nice profit.
- 18:58Speaker 2: There, BP.
- 19:00Speaker 5: Yeah, and one more thing just to circle back to
- 19:01Speaker 5: the National League. I was thinking if you're looking for
- 19:04Speaker 5: anyone but the Dodgers, I think the Phillies have been
- 19:07Speaker 5: pretty fortunate this year with their record in one-run games.
- 19:10Speaker 2: But.
- 19:11Speaker 5: The Phillies, and I mentioned this months ago, I think
- 19:14Speaker 5: on Wager Talk today, they are a very dangerous team
- 19:16Speaker 5: when it gets to playoffs when you can shorten the rotation.
- 19:18Speaker 5: Remember their record when it's just Lizardo, Wheeler, or Sanchez
- 19:23Speaker 5: starting versus anybody else. It's demonstrably better.
- 19:26Speaker 2: And guess what?
- 19:27Speaker 5: When we get to the playoffs, it's basically going to
- 19:29Speaker 5: be Lizardo, Wheeler, and Sanchez starting for the Phillies. So
- 19:32Speaker 5: that's something to pay attention to in Philly.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Yep. Love it. All right.
- 19:37Speaker 1: So we've got predictive markets in the book. I think there's,
- 19:40Speaker 1: without having to tie up money for eight months, I
- 19:42Speaker 1: think there's some great opportunities in Major League Baseball. Now
- 19:46Speaker 1: that we're down to the final, 10 to 14 games,
- 19:49Speaker 1: somewhere in that ballpark should be fun. But we also,
- 19:53Speaker 1: we're going to take a look here at some of
- 19:55Speaker 1: these lines ahead in week two of the NFL. We'll
- 19:59Speaker 1: run down the baseball schedule here today. But first, of course,
- 20:03Speaker 1: it is time for some business, which means Brian Power.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Tell us what you got rolling over at wagertalk.com.
- 20:12Speaker 5: Look, I know everyone wants to bet the Monday Night
- 20:14Speaker 5: Football game, but I think the best bet on tonight's
- 20:16Speaker 5: board is a total in Major League Baseball. Guys, we're
- 20:20Speaker 5: up 86.2 units all sports since April 17th, 133 and
- 20:24Speaker 5: 94 overall record. And a big reason for that is
- 20:28Speaker 5: we're plus 48 units with Major League Baseball totals this season.
- 20:32Speaker 5: That is number two. So head on over to WT.buzz
- 20:36Speaker 5: slash BP. My only premium selection tonight is on a
- 20:39Speaker 5: Major League Baseball total. It is a 4% best bet.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Boom. Art, how about you, my man? Where are you
- 20:45Speaker 2: looking on the market here today?
- 20:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm like BP.
- 20:48Speaker 4: I passed on the Monday night game. I do have
- 20:50Speaker 4: a free play up as far as a prop goes.
- 20:52Speaker 4: So if you want to check that out. But I
- 20:53Speaker 4: do have a Major League Baseball play up. You know,
- 20:56Speaker 4: had one up yesterday. I don't think anyone paid attention
- 20:59Speaker 4: to it, but.
- 20:59Speaker 3: It was a winner. Listen, baseball is still cooking.
- 21:01Speaker 4: So let's continue to ride on this baseball and ride
- 21:03Speaker 4: out the last two weeks until we get to the postseason.
- 21:06Speaker 4: And listen, just check out everything I'm doing at my page, wt.buzz.com.
- 21:11Speaker 1: All right, well, I will have coming up here shortly
- 21:16Speaker 1: a 5% college football best bet that I am posting
- 21:18Speaker 1: here now that the number is exactly where I hoped
- 21:22Speaker 1: it would be. So our first 5% of the college
- 21:25Speaker 1: football season, that'll be up in my page this afternoon
- 21:28Speaker 1: at wagertalk.com. But let's look ahead to some of these
- 21:33Speaker 1: NFL games that we've got coming up on the board here, Art, especially.
- 21:40Speaker 2: after a very strange.
- 21:41Speaker 1: I will say this, and let's start it with this.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Do not overreact to anything you see in September. Please, please, please.
- 21:51Speaker 1: I promise you all of these teams will look differently
- 21:55Speaker 1: in November than they do in September.
- 21:57Speaker 2: So don't overreact to any of that.
- 21:59Speaker 1: But some of these games coming up, Bart, it's going
- 22:02Speaker 1: to be kind of hard to wash it from the memory,
- 22:06Speaker 1: to say the least. What are you seeing as far
- 22:08Speaker 1: as some of these games coming up? Anything standing out
- 22:11Speaker 1: to you?
- 22:12Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 22:13Speaker 4: Got three sides that have kind of moved and I've
- 22:15Speaker 4: noticed on a total. Bills went from three and a
- 22:17Speaker 4: half to four. Panthers, who were a slight dog, catching one,
- 22:21Speaker 4: one and a half.
- 22:22Speaker 3: They're now favored. Minus one. Cardinals, no surprise. Overreaction.
- 22:26Speaker 4: They took money at five and a half. They're now
- 22:28Speaker 4: getting four. And then, listen, when you put up 59 points,
- 22:32Speaker 4: the bear total is going to go up. It was
- 22:34Speaker 4: 48 and a half.
- 22:34Speaker 3: It's now 49 and a half.
- 22:37Speaker 2: BP, what about you, man?
- 22:38Speaker 1: Some of these week two games that have opened here,
- 22:41Speaker 1: anything surprising to you?
- 22:44Speaker 5: I think that Seattle-Arizona line is the overreaction line, which
- 22:47Speaker 5: is funny because I never, ever like betting road favorites
- 22:50Speaker 5: in the NFL. But that number looks short to me.
- 22:53Speaker 5: Seattle's going to have the extra rest. I know no Darnold,
- 22:56Speaker 5: but they have extra rest. You know, Arizona caught a
- 22:59Speaker 5: lot of people mapping the Chargers in particular, but four
- 23:02Speaker 5: and a half. for Seattle that, that, that looks pretty short.
- 23:05Speaker 5: I love that art brought up the Minnesota Chicago game.
- 23:09Speaker 5: I remember a couple of years. Remember when it was
- 23:11Speaker 5: McDaniel in Miami, they put up some huge number in
- 23:15Speaker 5: week one. And then I faded him the next week
- 23:17Speaker 5: against Buffalo. And that was a winner for me. It
- 23:21Speaker 5: was a 5% winner for me actually. I want to
- 23:24Speaker 5: do the same with Chicago. Like, you know, 59 points,
- 23:28Speaker 5: Ben Johnson saying, oh, greatest offense of all time is
- 23:31Speaker 5: what we're going to have here. The public's going to
- 23:32Speaker 5: be buying it. Here's the problem. with betting against Chicago
- 23:37Speaker 5: this week. You got to go with Minnesota. We don't
- 23:39Speaker 5: know what Minnesota's quarterback situation is. And the Minnesota Vikings,
- 23:42Speaker 5: you talk about a fraudulent number of points, and all
- 23:46Speaker 5: due respect to your winner.
- 23:48Speaker 2: You're right.
- 23:49Speaker 5: The Vikings put up 39 points yesterday, despite averaging 3.9
- 23:55Speaker 5: yards per play. I don't know the last time that's
- 23:58Speaker 5: happened in the NFL. So there's no way they're getting
- 24:01Speaker 5: to 39. Now, that doesn't mean you should run and
- 24:03Speaker 5: bet the under here either, because... Who knows? Chicago could
- 24:05Speaker 5: put up points, but I don't know. If that total
- 24:07Speaker 5: gets above 50, Art, I might get a little interested
- 24:12Speaker 5: in the under on Chicago-Minnesota.
- 24:15Speaker 1: Anybody think that, and I had said this, I thought
- 24:21Speaker 1: they were going to wait for that first game to
- 24:23Speaker 1: come home because their first two games are on the road,
- 24:26Speaker 1: but Cleveland is traveling to Tampa Bay. And Tampa, it
- 24:30Speaker 1: took them a little while to get started there yesterday,
- 24:32Speaker 1: and they fell a little bit short to Cincinnati. But
- 24:37Speaker 1: call me crazy here. This has got double-digit numbers. blowout
- 24:42Speaker 1: written all over it here. You're already starting a game.
- 24:45Speaker 1: What are you going to make a switch now? I mean,
- 24:48Speaker 1: I don't, I don't know what they're going to do,
- 24:50Speaker 1: but I do know heading to Tampa in this heat
- 24:54Speaker 1: and this weather is not going to be great for
- 24:56Speaker 1: the Cleveland Browns here. You're a Cle, you love the
- 24:59Speaker 1: Browns BP. I mean, is it, did they go with
- 25:02Speaker 1: him one more week?
- 25:05Speaker 5: Um, we were joking off air before we started that, uh,
- 25:09Speaker 5: If the local news came on tonight and said every
- 25:13Speaker 5: household in the greater Cleveland area, if you sent $ 20
- 25:16Speaker 5: to the Browns and we'll make Deshaun Watson go away forever.
- 25:20Speaker 5: I think they could do it. I think they would.
- 25:22Speaker 5: I think every household. He is that reviled.
- 25:25Speaker 2: In this town.
- 25:26Speaker 5: They can't start him in week three in the home opener, Joe.
- 25:28Speaker 2: Well, that's my guess.
- 25:30Speaker 5: There's going to be a revolt. Now, me and Zinno,
- 25:33Speaker 5: we gave it out. Joe, you were actually there, because
- 25:36Speaker 5: I know you can't get enough of me during the week.
- 25:37Speaker 5: You were on the morning wager on Friday night. And
- 25:41Speaker 5: we gave out Jacksonville as our survivor pick for the
- 25:43Speaker 5: Splash Sports Contest. Easiest winner on the board. I know
- 25:46Speaker 5: it was chalky, but hey... Early on, it's just survive
- 25:49Speaker 5: in advance, right? It's better than taking the Chargers in
- 25:51Speaker 5: week one. I can almost assure you Tampa Bay will
- 25:54Speaker 5: be our survivor choice in week two. I've already told Zeno,
- 25:57Speaker 5: you will have to make one hell of a compelling
- 25:59Speaker 5: argument to me to pick anyone else. This is a
- 26:02Speaker 5: Bucs team that's failed to cover 10 in a row.
- 26:04Speaker 5: I believe that's now tied for an NFL record.
- 26:06Speaker 2: Yep.
- 26:07Speaker 5: I'm with you, Joe. This reeks of a double. Deshaun Watson,
- 26:10Speaker 5: that early interception, I laughed so hard.
- 26:13Speaker 2: You could have seen it coming a million miles away.
- 26:15Speaker 5: My wife has one of those watches where it registers
- 26:19Speaker 5: the noise, and she goes, it says it's like an
- 26:22Speaker 5: explosion down here. You're laughing so hard. It was one
- 26:27Speaker 5: of the worst passes I've ever seen.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Love it.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Absolutely love it. And by the way, they are not
- 26:33Speaker 1: the biggest favorite on the board. Biggest favorite on the
- 26:36Speaker 1: board are the 49ers against Miami. And that's almost, what,
- 26:41Speaker 1: 12 and a half? Somewhere in that ballpark against the Dolphins. Listen,
- 26:45Speaker 1: the Dolphins are the worst defensive team by far in
- 26:48Speaker 1: the National Football League. And that's saying something. But they
- 26:51Speaker 1: are the worst defensive team by far. It's not good.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Willis can't be protected. So, you know, traveling the travel
- 26:58Speaker 1: now to the 49ers, I get it. You know, are
- 27:01Speaker 1: they staying out there?
- 27:02Speaker 2: Do we know?
- 27:03Speaker 3: It'd be smart if they did.
- 27:06Speaker 2: I mean, because they were already in Vegas, right? So,
- 27:08Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 27:09Speaker 5: Yeah. Well, here's the thing. My concern with back in
- 27:13Speaker 5: the– as much as the 49ers think they're going to
- 27:15Speaker 5: win is they're coming from the land down under. I
- 27:17Speaker 5: don't know if you want to start seeing men at work, Joe. Yes. But,
- 27:20Speaker 5: you know, that– I mean, that is kind of a concern.
- 27:24Speaker 5: Obviously kind of an unprecedented road trip for an NFL team.
- 27:28Speaker 5: So it'll probably keep me staying away. Plus, maybe the
- 27:33Speaker 5: Niners are a team you probably want to save, too,
- 27:35Speaker 5: in a survivor deal.
- 27:36Speaker 1: I don't know why the Chargers are laying a touchdown.
- 27:39Speaker 1: I mean, the Raiders looked– more than capable of holding
- 27:43Speaker 1: their own against, you know, certainly Crosby was a beast
- 27:46Speaker 1: again yesterday.
- 27:48Speaker 2: And, you know, Jenty is great, right?
- 27:51Speaker 1: I mean, and you know what you're getting from Kirk
- 27:53Speaker 1: Cousins is the reason he's the starting quarterback here. So
- 27:56Speaker 1: I don't, granted, you know, it's a bounce back spot
- 28:00Speaker 1: for the Chargers, but any part of that Chargers game, though.
- 28:04Speaker 2: I want to be laying more than a touchdown with, though, Art?
- 28:07Speaker 3: No, right?
- 28:08Speaker 2: No.
- 28:09Speaker 4: And in a division game, if it's seven, seven and
- 28:11Speaker 4: a half, you've got to take the Raiders.
- 28:14Speaker 5: My favorite AFC West bet, we did the NFL mega
- 28:18Speaker 5: preview on the morning wagers, Zeno and I. My favorite
- 28:21Speaker 5: bet for that division was Raiders over one and a
- 28:24Speaker 5: half division wins. It was plus money. Look, I don't
- 28:28Speaker 5: think the Raiders are going to make the playoffs, let
- 28:30Speaker 5: alone win this division. But I think they're going to
- 28:31Speaker 5: play spoiler, and I don't want to be betting against
- 28:34Speaker 5: them in these division games. I think they're going to
- 28:36Speaker 5: catch the Chargers, the Broncos, the Chiefs. between the three
- 28:40Speaker 5: of them, they'll catch two of them napping.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Well, that's what you get when you hire Mike McDaniel
- 28:43Speaker 1: as your offensive coordinator. My goodness, that was just awful
- 28:47Speaker 1: charges on so many different levels here.
- 28:49Speaker 5: I think Justin Herbert might be a little too happy
- 28:52Speaker 5: on the home front. You know what I'm saying, John?
- 28:54Speaker 5: I mean, I don't blame him. I mean, I don't– yeah, but,
- 28:56Speaker 5: you know, I think he might be– Win something.
- 28:58Speaker 2: Will you win something, Justin Herbert? Yeah, just win something.
- 29:00Speaker 2: I agree with you.
- 29:01Speaker 1: I mean, jeez.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Win something here.
- 29:04Speaker 3: He's the starting quarterback in the NFL. We know he
- 29:05Speaker 3: can get hot girls. Can he win a football game?
- 29:08Speaker 2: Unreal.
- 29:09Speaker 3: Jesus Christ.
- 29:10Speaker 2: Ridiculous.
- 29:11Speaker 1: All right, time for a little Major League Baseball rundown.
- 29:15Speaker 1: We'll go through a few of these coming up here tonight.
- 29:17Speaker 1: 640 will be the opening start time. Gavin Williams there, BP,
- 29:23Speaker 1: of your Guardians taking on Newcomb and the White Sox.
- 29:26Speaker 2: Who do you like in this one?
- 29:28Speaker 5: Art gave out the Guardians the parlay. I can't disagree
- 29:30Speaker 5: with that. If the price is a little too much,
- 29:33Speaker 5: if you're just betting this one straight, maybe look at
- 29:34Speaker 5: the first five, even lay the half run with the Guardians.
- 29:37Speaker 5: Big starting pitching edge in this one.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know.
- 29:39Speaker 1: I mean, Scoble, another monster favorite here. Art, what are
- 29:43Speaker 1: we thinking against little Dolo and the Reds?
- 29:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, you know, we always say it.
- 29:48Speaker 4: It's hard to lay that number with the Dodgers, but
- 29:52Speaker 4: you can look other ways. You can look run line.
- 29:54Speaker 4: You can look first.
- 29:54Speaker 3: Five run line. Maybe Scoble strikeout, something like that.
- 29:58Speaker 1: All right, you've got Tigers and the Blue Jays melting
- 30:01Speaker 1: against Soriano in Toronto. Seven and a half in total,
- 30:05Speaker 1: and that feels a little high to me, BP.
- 30:07Speaker 2: What are you thinking?
- 30:10Speaker 5: The money line price seems short on Toronto, given that
- 30:12Speaker 5: they've got it all in front of them. And Detroit
- 30:14Speaker 5: has nothing to play for, doesn't it? It scares you
- 30:17Speaker 5: a little bit. I do want to add one more
- 30:18Speaker 5: thing on that Dodgers-Reds game. Since Scooble's come over to
- 30:21Speaker 5: the Dodgers, the Dodgers are 0-7 in his starts on
- 30:24Speaker 5: the run line. They've won five games, all five wins, though,
- 30:28Speaker 5: by exactly one run. This could be the game, though,
- 30:32Speaker 5: that snaps that. The Reds, you know, they're dead last
- 30:34Speaker 5: in baseball in batting average at home.
- 30:38Speaker 1: It's 11 runs or no runs for the Reds. That's
- 30:41Speaker 1: all it ever is. Orioles at the Mets. Young versus
- 30:46Speaker 1: Tong here today at Citi Field.
- 30:49Speaker 3: Yeah, Mets are a small favorite.
- 30:50Speaker 4: Obviously, Baltimore still hanging on for maybe a playoff bird.
- 30:55Speaker 3: I would lean the Mets. The Mets have been playing
- 30:57Speaker 3: good baseball here over the last six weeks.
- 30:59Speaker 1: Braves, Cubs, Ronaldo Lopez versus Peter. I'm just going to
- 31:03Speaker 1: take an over. I mean, it's already nine, nine and
- 31:05Speaker 1: a half, and I'll take the over there. Yankees at
- 31:09Speaker 1: the twins Warren against Kramer. What do you think of BP?
- 31:13Speaker 5: Another one where the line looks, the money line looks
- 31:15Speaker 5: tantalizingly short. Dean Kramer has been horrible for the twins.
- 31:18Speaker 5: And I just, I have to stay away from the
- 31:21Speaker 5: Yankees to the public art. You got to think in
- 31:23Speaker 5: the minus one 30 price range is going to be
- 31:26Speaker 5: so tempting.
- 31:27Speaker 1: Yep.
- 31:27Speaker 2: I agree.
- 31:28Speaker 5: I don't like, are you setting a trap here? Wink
- 31:31Speaker 5: twice if you are. So I don't know. I'm staying away.
- 31:35Speaker 3: Hold on.
- 31:36Speaker 4: I'm not, I'm not setting any traps anymore.
- 31:39Speaker 2: Okay, I know. I hear you. I hear you.
- 31:41Speaker 3: I will say this. Yeah, it is interesting.
- 31:44Speaker 2: You know better than anyone.
- 31:45Speaker 3: It hasn't been great.
- 31:46Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, listen, that will be the number one
- 31:48Speaker 4: public side today in MLB.
- 31:50Speaker 2: We know that. Absolutely. Yep, absolutely will be.
- 31:53Speaker 1: Giants at the Cardinals. Roop versus Matthew. Seven and a half.
- 31:58Speaker 1: Bush Stadium, not exactly a hitter's paradise here, but man,
- 32:02Speaker 1: that feels like a low number there, does it not, Art?
- 32:05Speaker 3: It does.
- 32:05Speaker 4: I would look at the over, even though what you
- 32:07Speaker 4: just mentioned is absolutely correct.
- 32:09Speaker 3: But two teams not going anywhere. Maybe they'll play a
- 32:12Speaker 3: softball game tonight.
- 32:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:13Speaker 1: Mize versus Sugano. I mean, listen, Sugano is much better
- 32:17Speaker 1: than people realize.
- 32:19Speaker 2: And I've given up. He's not an automatic fade, even in.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Colorado BP going up against Casey Mize, who still wishes
- 32:25Speaker 1: he was in the American League here.
- 32:27Speaker 2: What are we thinking?
- 32:30Speaker 5: Maybe Rockies plus one and a half. Here's San Diego
- 32:33Speaker 5: traveling off a Sunday night win. They have won, Padres
- 32:37Speaker 5: have won seven in a row. Rockies have lost seven
- 32:39Speaker 5: in a row. I will say, I was one of
- 32:40Speaker 5: the guys, when we broke down Sagato's starts on the
- 32:43Speaker 5: morning wager, would always bring up his baseball savant page,
- 32:46Speaker 5: would pound the desk, say, look at the actual ERA.
- 32:49Speaker 5: Look at the expected ERA. There's more than a two-run
- 32:51Speaker 5: difference here. This guy's going to regress. He has regressed
- 32:54Speaker 5: the last five starts, Joe, an ERA over nine. But
- 32:57Speaker 5: Casey Mize, as you pointed out, has not been good
- 33:00Speaker 5: at all since coming to San Diego. So I guess
- 33:04Speaker 5: just take a shot with the Rockies one and a
- 33:05Speaker 5: half if you want to play this one. Yeah, stop
- 33:07Speaker 5: referencing a show nobody watches, would you? Mariners, Angels, Art,
- 33:12Speaker 5: that would be fantastic. Seven and a half. Detmer is
- 33:15Speaker 5: on the mound against Anderson. I don't know where the
- 33:18Speaker 5: runs are coming with these two guys.
- 33:20Speaker 3: Yeah, probably an under.
- 33:21Speaker 4: I can't disagree with BP on a first five. I've
- 33:24Speaker 4: said it for a month on this show. Seattle is
- 33:25Speaker 4: a rat. And they continue to be a rat. So
- 33:28Speaker 4: I could not put any money on Seattle.
- 33:31Speaker 1: And finally, BP Marlins taking on Arizona. Alcantara's gotten lit
- 33:36Speaker 1: up here. Last couple of starts. Burns, Corbin Burns is back.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Went three innings last time out. Wasn't terrible. He's going
- 33:43Speaker 1: to be on another pitch count here tonight. Eight and
- 33:45Speaker 1: a half is the total. And boy, that feels light
- 33:48Speaker 1: too to me.
- 33:50Speaker 5: Theme of the day feels like some of these Moneyline favorites,
- 33:53Speaker 5: the number feels short. What's going on here? Because Arizona's
- 33:56Speaker 5: got it all in front of them. They're in a
- 33:58Speaker 5: lot of trouble now behind the Padres. They need to win.
- 34:01Speaker 5: They do have revenge for a prior sweep, but that
- 34:04Speaker 5: sweep was a while ago against the Marlins. And I
- 34:07Speaker 5: could only bet the D-backs here. Joe, you brought up
- 34:09Speaker 5: Alcantara recently, his last five starts. The Marlins have lost
- 34:13Speaker 5: all of them. He's posted a 5.83 ERA in that stretch.
- 34:16Speaker 5: And the worst start of the bunch was actually last
- 34:18Speaker 5: time out. gave up seven runs to the Mets, including
- 34:21Speaker 5: three homers.
- 34:23Speaker 1: That's kind of crazy, but that is your Major League
- 34:25Speaker 1: Baseball rundown for tonight here. Big shout-out to those of you, again,
- 34:31Speaker 1: in the chat room there and, of course, making those comments. Drop,
- 34:36Speaker 1: by the way, your favorite play on Monday Night Football tonight.
- 34:40Speaker 1: How many of you are actually buying Mahomes off an injury?
- 34:46Speaker 1: and think it's just everything that's going to be business
- 34:49Speaker 1: as usual here. I think this is going to be
- 34:52Speaker 1: interesting tonight. I like Denver, but you guys drop in.
- 34:55Speaker 1: What's your favorite play of the night here on Monday night? Football, BP,
- 35:01Speaker 1: 4% Major League Baseball play up at your page?
- 35:04Speaker 5: Yep, that is correct. And don't forget to check out
- 35:06Speaker 5: the Morning Wager.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Nobody watches. Nobody cares.
- 35:09Speaker 5: He was actually on the show Friday, so I find
- 35:12Speaker 5: it very odd that he would.
- 35:13Speaker 2: Disparage a program.
- 35:15Speaker 5: That he chose to be on Friday.
- 35:17Speaker 1: And listen, if a tree falls in a forest and
- 35:20Speaker 1: nobody's there to watch it, it really.
- 35:22Speaker 2: Doesn't make a sound. Art, again, you are locked and
- 35:26Speaker 2: loaded here tonight as well at your page.
- 35:29Speaker 4: Yeah, I just have 3% baseball play up. Like I said,
- 35:32Speaker 4: free play on the prop for the Monday night football game,
- 35:35Speaker 4: but not in play as far as side or total.
- 35:37Speaker 1: All right, and I'll have my first college football 5%
- 35:40Speaker 1: up for you guys a little bit later this afternoon.
- 35:43Speaker 2: You can grab that at my page.
- 35:44Speaker 1: No reason not to take advantage of all the different
- 35:48Speaker 1: promotions we got running here at wageratalk.com. Visit BP, visit Arts,

- 36:06Speaker 2: some Phantom show sometime soon. Good luck, guys. We'll see
- 36:09Speaker 2: you again.
