- 0:40This one is a special one.
- 0:42I am so excited for this podcast.
- 0:46I am about to change your whole perspective on fat cells.
- 0:51Weight gain weight loss.
- 0:53As a matter of fact, the next few podcasts we'll be losing weight, the healthy way.
- 0:59How many of us are struggling right now and doing all the things that are not working.
- 1:05But first let's talk about fat because when people hear fat, they think like, oh no, this is bad.
- 1:11Fat is bad.
- 1:12And they give fat the bad rep.
- 1:15And I'm here to stop all the misinformation about fat.
- 1:19And opened your eyes to a different.
- 1:22Philosophy.
- 1:23For you to see how it is important, just that potent is important.
- 1:27Carbohydrate is an important fact is also important.
- 1:31First let's talk about the different types of fat.
- 1:34Did you know we have brown fat.
- 1:36White fat.
- 1:37And beige fat cells.
- 1:39I want to do this podcast, not only to bring awareness, how fat is healthy and how things that we do to our bodies and specific organs.
- 1:47We're responsible for weight loss that will probably never think of.
- 1:52But to also tell you that there are multiple ways of losing weight.
- 1:56And most often people will blame the weight gain or difficulty losing weight on hormones.
- 2:02Right.
- 2:03My homeowners or imbalance or lack of physical activity or poor diet.
- 2:09Do you know how many patients I see in my practice, they are doing all the things.
- 2:13They have a very good diet, either doing keto or paleo or mixture of all the diets, eating healthy, organic food.
- 2:22They also exercise.
- 2:24And in doing everything they can possibly do.
- 2:27The healthy way to lose weight.
- 2:29And unfortunately they are not losing weight.
- 2:32They'll go to the doctors and do all the blood tests, checking all the hormones.
- 2:37Guess what.
- 2:38No weight loss is your hypo.
- 2:40Thyroidism it's your estrogen.
- 2:43We blame.
- 2:44Difficult to lose in weight on so many factors when in fact.
- 2:49So I'll do a whole podcast about that.
- 2:51On different with causes of weight gain.
- 2:53And different factors that play a role in not losing weight in obesity.
- 3:00But today we'll talk about the different fats.
- 3:02First, we're going to do a little bit of, Medical.
- 3:05Education, because I want you to understand how, when I.
- 3:09Emphasize on the liver.
- 3:11How as a Ogun to really focus on when you want to lose weight, what is hormonal imbalance or gut infection giving you the weekend?
- 3:20Or stressed or processed food, like whatever.
- 3:25W you think.
- 3:26It will cause is you have to focus on the liver.
- 3:30So that's a process.
- 3:32That takes place in the liver.
- 3:33Lipogenesis is the process of fat deposited in the liver and adipose tissue.
- 3:39You might say what Dr.
- 3:40Jensen see, what is adipose tissue?
- 3:41Stay with me.
- 3:42Adipose tissue is known as body fat.
- 3:45It is a connective tissue that extends throughout your whole body.
- 3:50It is found everywhere in your body, under your skin.
- 3:53Between your internal organs.
- 3:56In a cavities of bones.
- 3:58So you can also find it in bone marrow.
- 4:01So we have adipose tissue.
- 4:03So when lipogenesis takes place.
- 4:06You are the positive fat into the liver and adipose tissue.
- 4:10Carbohydrate and put in from food.
- 4:14A converted to fat.
- 4:15That's what I tell patients that it doesn't matter if he didn't fatty food or not.
- 4:20But if you eat in carbs, a lot of carbs, unhealthy carbs that turns into fat.
- 4:26If you will eat in a lot of ports in unhealthy parts in that turns into fat.
- 4:30So that's why the, when you go from eating meat, And you go vegan or vegetarian in the first few months or weeks, you will be losing weight because you are not allowing that conversion to take place from protein to fat.
- 4:43But the carbohydrate is stored as glycogen in the liver and muscles and can be converted to triglyceride.
- 4:51The cholesterol.
- 4:53That is why I tell my patients.
- 4:54Cholesterol is a liver issue.
- 4:56When we did our attendant, liver detox, people's cholesterol went down significantly.
- 5:02I have blood work to prove it.
- 5:04They had very high LDL.
- 5:06Triglyceride.
- 5:07Cholesterol.
- 5:08But after the 10 day of our liver detox, we did repeat blood tests on many of my patients, the cholesterol went down.
- 5:15Because it is a liver issue.
- 5:17Obesity is a liver issue.
- 5:20Now byproduct of protein called.
- 5:22Amino acid use for Newports in sentences, and this can also be converted to carbohydrates.
- 5:29In fact, You see how everything we ingested nobody's can be converted to fat.
- 5:33That's why in our first phase and our gut, the clutter and program we addressed deliver, you got the support, deliver that.
- 5:40So important.
- 5:41It is responsible for phase one, two, and three.
- 5:44Detoxification metabolism.
- 5:46Everything goes to deliver.
- 5:47So as I revamped the whole got the Claritin program, I had to really put some herbs in it to support the liver.
- 5:54And that's why right now, as I'm talking to you, People are losing weight in this program.
- 6:00Minimum five pounds per month.
- 6:03So by the end of the three months, minimum they'll lose 15 pounds.
- 6:08It is not a weight loss program, but the way we structured the program, the way people are implementing the recommendations, the phases, we have like a whole process.
- 6:17They are losing weight.
- 6:19Like all the time people tell me, oh my God, I'm losing weight.
- 6:21I'm losing weight.
- 6:22I was five pounds so we are celebrating the weight-loss in the gut, the cluttered program.
- 6:27In all my detoxes people lose weight.
- 6:30Why because we are doing it the healthier way.
- 6:32There's no yo-yo dieting.
- 6:34There's no quick fixes we are supported in the liver.
- 6:37We are, started energy.
- 6:39Unlimited in symptoms.
- 6:41But the first week I have my patients on some herbs for liver support.
- 6:47So that liver doesn't really store the carbs porting that are coming in as fat.
- 6:52All right, so that's good.
- 6:54I can talk about this whole program.
- 6:56Oh my God.
- 6:57It is so amazing.
- 6:58This got the clutter and program is the program.
- 7:01If you want to lose weight.
- 7:02If you want to get whatever digestive issues.
- 7:05You have symptoms, the disease, like it's amazing.
- 7:08So body fat is needed for energy.
- 7:11Today I'm going to talk about three types of fat that I've part of the white adipose tissue.
- 7:16The first one is the subcutaneous fat that we found on our skin.
- 7:20You can pinch it.
- 7:21You can literally touch the skin right now.
- 7:24That's the fact you are touching.
- 7:27It is there to protect us from fallen.
- 7:29So when you fall, you have that protective measure.
- 7:31We don't get fractured.
- 7:33The second one is the visceral fat momentum fat.
- 7:36This one is a deep fat.
- 7:37Uh, surrounding the organs in our body.
- 7:40We cannot touch it.
- 7:42But this fat can increase our risk for chronic diseases.
- 7:46More of this fat will lead to cancer incident resistance, diabetes, heart disease, but it's good for storing energy.
- 7:54So again, fat is needed for energy, visceral fat of the heart, regulates inflammation and thermal protection of the heart.
- 8:02This is really stored in system.
- 8:04The third one is intramuscular fat.
- 8:08This one is uploading without muscles.
- 8:11It is there to give our muscles energy help movement.
- 8:16So we have three types of fat.
- 8:18Subcutaneous fat, you can touch visceral fat.
- 8:21You cannot touch.
- 8:21You cannot see an intra muscular fight for the muscles.
- 8:25Fat cells expand.
- 8:27Thousand.
- 8:28Times the normal size and there's nothing, you know, by the, that can do that.
- 8:33Only the fat cells can do that.
- 8:35It is like a plastic bag.
- 8:37I call it a Ziploc bag.
- 8:39When you fill it up with stuff, the increase in volume.
- 8:43You pack it with triglycerides, cholesterol, toxins, the food that we eat, the chemicals that we get from all four herbicides pesticides that they love fat cells, because it can grow in sizes and volume.
- 8:56As the bag is getting full, the bag is the fat cells and you put all the stats in it.
- 9:03They start braking and then the content of the bag, the fat cells.
- 9:09Start licking into our circulation into a tissue.
- 9:13And then we have the weight gain or we have the inflammation.
- 9:18I hope you guys understand this is very important.
- 9:21With excess weight, we become a magnet for taxing.
- 9:24So the more we have enlarged fat cells, the more toxins are stuck in our fat cells.
- 9:30So when I tell my patients, we do fat adaptation, like utilizing the fact that they have already.
- 9:35To burn energy.
- 9:37Or when we lose weight.
- 9:38We are the fat cells are shrinking.
- 9:40That is the process that takes place.
- 9:42It is estimated that 10 millions new chemicals that we list every day now, environment.
- 9:48In our food in our soil, in our air and our water.
- 9:53And we have no idea what these chemicals are doing to our bodies.
- 9:57But guess what our fat cells love them.
- 9:59We become a reservoir.
- 10:01For them, we.
- 10:02Soak them up like a sponge.
- 10:05And then they are creating inflammation.
- 10:07Body fat negatively affect our immune system.
- 10:11Our already enlarged cells.
- 10:14Come in contact with these viruses.
- 10:17Pathogens allowing them to grow and take over bodies producing symptoms that a lot of my overweight patients experience.
- 10:24Many of them have really weak immune system.
- 10:26They always get a cold, they have allergies, they have the flu, or they are the one that's not vulnerable.
- 10:33When there's something going on out there in the world.
- 10:36Oprah body fat distribution is correlated with development of various health problems.
- 10:41Like heart disease would mention like high blood pressure, diabetes, sleep apnea.
- 10:46Osteoarthritis in some cancers.
- 10:49As most of the fat or pack around the internal organs.
- 10:53That's how we got chronic health conditions.
- 10:55Lower body fat distribution is called it with the mechanical problems.
- 10:59As these fats are distributed on our hips.
- 11:02Our ties and our buttocks.
- 11:04Our stomachs.
- 11:05Mechanical.
- 11:06Meaning you have lack of mobility, not moving as you used to.
- 11:10Overweight patients, they have both, they have Oprah by the distribution, you know, Oregon.
- 11:14So they have chronic health conditions, diabetes, high blood pressure.
- 11:17Some people have sleep apnea or heart disease and autoimmune conditions.
- 11:22And they also have no body fat distribution that is really preventing them from moving around.
- 11:28Exercise and running around and be very active.
- 11:31And woman as we at risk for both, for sure.
- 11:35You're dieting or weight cycling is one of the most important problems that correlates with development of upper and lower body fat.
- 11:45With cycling is defined as a repeated pattern of losing the weight and we gain in the weight back.
- 11:51And we do that because we use quick fixes.
- 11:54Pre-made packages that we have companies ship our weight loss meals through our house.
- 11:59We use bars, we have supports in design.
- 12:02To lose weight, but they are literally packed with toxins.
- 12:06People are struggling right now because they are losing the weight rapidly.
- 12:10Using the quick fixes.
- 12:12Injections but they are not exercising and incorporating bad eating habits.
- 12:18When the body loses fat.
- 12:20The fat cell does not go anywhere.
- 12:24The fat cell stays exactly where it is right in top of our muscles, underneath our skins and our ties and our hips now.
- 12:31Like all of our bodies.
- 12:33Which is why it's difficult for many of us, including myself.
- 12:37When I used to go in my Witless.
- 12:38Journey to see muscles.
- 12:40Cause I had a lot of body fat.
- 12:42Or fat cells.
- 12:43Fat is stored inside of the fat cells.
- 12:46The fat is not burned right away it must be released from the fat cells through a complex process involving hormones and enzymes.
- 12:57As the process of fat cell progresses fat cells shrink in size with Zoltan invisible changes in body composition.
- 13:06I see that a lot in my patients, when they go to the gut Dakota and program or our diabetic program, they have a nice transformation.
- 13:14They don't look.
- 13:15Tired and old as the losing the weight.
- 13:18Literally they fast as a shrinking.
- 13:20Toxins or we'll listen fast as are shrinking and they are losing weight.
- 13:25You might be saying well that the GNC, why is it so hard to keep the weight off?
- 13:29When you eat more of the one food.
- 13:32Or overeating, then your body cannot burn fat as fast and as quickly can I keep up?
- 13:39So therefore fat cells increase in both size and number.
- 13:43When you lose fat, the same cells can shrink in size, but the number remains the same.
- 13:50That's the key.
- 13:52When you lose weight.
- 13:53The fat cells will shrink in size, but you still have the same number of fat.
- 13:58Therefore the primary reason for changes in body shape and composition, is it with those?
- 14:03Size of fat cells, not the number.
- 14:05This also means that when you lose weight, Fat cells remain present.
- 14:11And if efforts are not made to maintain the weight, They can easily grow in size again and also number.
- 14:19So some studies suggest that this may be the.
- 14:21Reason why maintaining weight loss is so difficult for many people.
- 14:25The scientists concluded that we don't actually lose fat cells.
- 14:30We emptied them out.
- 14:31Remember that bag analogy I mentioned earlier in this episode, how we have a Ziploc bag, the Ziploc bag is the fat cells.
- 14:38The fact is the toxin we put in the bag and we emptied them out.
- 14:43So we still have the Ziploc bag.
- 14:45Sometimes they have multiple Ziploc bags.
- 14:46That's the number, but we empty out fat cells.
- 14:50Our body should be a source of energy and fat cells, or like the stories.
- 14:55Think FAFSA can expend a shrink in size depending on how you fell them.
- 14:59We have trillions and zillions of fat cells.
- 15:01It's up to us, how we fill them up, we can fill them with good food.
- 15:05We can literally do a PLAs of detoxification.
- 15:09So that we can remove toxins so we can allow them to shrink so we can lose the weight or we can fill them up with bad food and do nothing.
- 15:17There is a process that you can go through.
- 15:20To lose the weight because you lose in toxins, the fat cells or shrinking.
- 15:26Which is good.
- 15:27But at least you losing weight.
- 15:29I was talking to a patient, you know, I got the clutter and program and they said he men.
- 15:35Men loses weight way faster than us, they do.
- 15:38So this guy is losing weight, and it's also getting the energy to go to the gym and work out.
- 15:44And do all the things that it needs to do.
- 15:46So we're just talking, he was telling me how he did so many things to lose the weight he did.
- 15:50To lose the weight.
- 15:51He actually went to a doctor who put something in his body and whatever.
- 15:56There are so many things out there to lose weight.
- 15:58So the next podcast I'm going to do.
- 16:00I'm going to go over all the different ways people are losing weight.
- 16:03That are not healthy.
- 16:04Weight loss can be simple.
- 16:06If you understand the process.
- 16:09But it can also be complicated if you don't understand the process.
- 16:12And you're trying to look for quick fix because you want to lose weight so fast.
- 16:16So gradual weight loss is better than fast weight loss.
- 16:19In my program in my practice, we do.
- 16:23Graduate class.
- 16:25We don't want to do things faster and quickly.
- 16:27And then therefore, when we stop doing the things we gain all the way back.
- 16:33Oh, I, so that's the spills and fat, fat is good.
- 16:35We need it for a brain.
- 16:37We need it for our joints.
- 16:38We need as protective measures to give us the heat.
- 16:41However, the warm fat can backfire on us and give us all the health conditions that we don't want, including cancer.
- 16:49And we will be under struggling boss.
- 16:51Trying to lose the weight we gain it.
- 16:53We'll lose it.
- 16:54We began, it we'll lose it because we're not understanding the process.
- 16:58We're not implementing.
- 16:59The, things that we need to do to support the liver and prevent from storing all this excess toxins.
- 17:07So fatty liver, disease, obesity, high blood pressure.
- 17:10Diabesity all health conditions.
- 17:12If you were to ask me.
- 17:13Like to the liver.
- 17:15And that's why.
- 17:16I focus a lot on the liver to make sure that my patients are seeing results.
- 17:21If you are interested in decrease in your adipose, fat, the fat that we don't want, then I invite you to consider.
- 17:29Looking into the gut, the clutter in program.
- 17:32Because one of the reported improvement or results or outcome that all our patients are experiencing while they undergo.
- 17:39The current program is weight loss.
- 17:40Weight loss, weight loss, weight loss.
- 17:42Yes, they do have more energy.
- 17:44Yes.
- 17:44They have less brain fog.
- 17:45Yes, they have less bloat and gas and mobile movement.
- 17:49Right.
- 17:50But weight loss, every body experiences, weight loss, while they are in the container of the gut the clutter in program even the ones that don't want to lose weight, they still lose weight because we are losing toxins.
- 18:02And as toxin has been lost, your fast styles are shrinking.
- 18:07So weight loss is one of the results that we see all the time.
- 18:13in our patients that are in the gut, the clutter and problem.
- 18:15So we have one on one spots open right now.
- 18:18The group is closed at the time you are listening to this podcast.
- 18:21But we have a few one on one spots.
- 18:23So, if you ready to really shed some weight, shed some fat, like feel your best for lighter.
- 18:28Have the flatter tummy.
- 18:30Have more energy, more vitality, more stamina, decrease the use of medications.
- 18:35Whatever you have to go is the gut.
- 18:38The clutter and program is a perfect fit for you.
