- 0:00Speaker 1: Kyle Payton, what do we got for entertainment news?
- 0:01Speaker 2: Dolly Parton was laid to rest in a quiet ceremony.
- 0:04Speaker 3: Over the weekend.
- 0:04Speaker 2: And I feel like this is exactly what she wanted.
- 0:06Speaker 2: There was no giant celebrity funeral, just her family and
- 0:09Speaker 2: loved ones in Nashville. And apparently she was buried in
- 0:12Speaker 2: a cotton dress. Remember, she said she wanted to finally
- 0:14Speaker 2: be comfortable.
- 0:15Speaker 4: Right.
- 0:16Speaker 2: And wearing her signature stilettos right next to her husband
- 0:19Speaker 2: of 58 years, Kyle, who Carl, who passed away just
- 0:22Speaker 2: last year. may she rest in peace. And the whole
- 0:24Speaker 2: family was there. It was just, just from what I'm,
- 0:27Speaker 2: from what I'm seeing online, they all said it was
- 0:29Speaker 2: just a beautiful event.
- 0:30Speaker 3: That was exactly what she wanted.
- 0:31Speaker 4: No.
- 0:31Speaker 1: What if they did?
- 0:32Speaker 5: The funeral was from like nine to five.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Perhaps. Perhaps.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Harry Styles was performing at Madison square garden over the weekend,
- 0:40Speaker 2: which of course is also where Taylor Swift, his ex
- 0:43Speaker 2: just got married. And that was something that he could not,
- 0:46Speaker 2: not mention.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Madison square garden, home of the world champion, New York X,
- 0:54Speaker 3: And then also to weddings.
- 0:57Speaker 2: I love how he addressed it without really addressing it.
- 1:00Speaker 2: And everyone in the audience was like just dying of laughter.
- 1:03Speaker 4: I'm like wondering how Zoe Kravitz feels about that. Because
- 1:06Speaker 4: for me, I'd be like, for what?
- 1:07Speaker 1: Why did you need to bring her up? She was there, right?
- 1:09Speaker 1: She was at the wedding.
- 1:10Speaker 2: I'm sure she saw it. I'm sure she thought it
- 1:12Speaker 2: was funny.
- 1:12Speaker 5: Did you see pictures of him? Like, I love this
- 1:14Speaker 5: about him. Like, he just walks to Madison Square Garden.
- 1:17Speaker 5: Like he doesn't, most people have their limo or their car,
- 1:20Speaker 5: drive them down to the tunnel. He's just walking by.
- 1:23Speaker 1: My, my daughter, Audrey goes to school right across the
- 1:25Speaker 1: street from there. And she's walking every day in Adidas
- 1:28Speaker 1: because apparently he has a thing for Adidas. She's like,
- 1:30Speaker 1: he's going to see us and come talk to us
- 1:32Speaker 1: and invite us to the show.
- 1:33Speaker 6: So epic.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Tom Cruise is not done bringing back his old movies
- 1:38Speaker 2: because almost 40 years after Days of Thunder, he is
- 1:41Speaker 2: getting back into the NASCAR world as cold trickle. And
- 1:44Speaker 2: this time, Anne Hathaway is coming with him, playing a
- 1:48Speaker 2: team owner and engineer. Jerry Bruckheimer is back producing the
- 1:51Speaker 2: whole thing, too.
- 1:52Speaker 4: Now what?
- 1:53Speaker 1: Now what?
- 1:54Speaker 3: Let's make the movie.
- 1:55Speaker 1: I'm going to have this baby and then we're going
- 1:57Speaker 1: to make this movie. That's a good idea. You have
- 1:59Speaker 1: the baby, then we'll go big. We're coming out summer
- 2:01Speaker 1: of 2028.
- 2:01Speaker 5: Don't be late.
- 2:04Speaker 2: So we won't be late because there's a lot of
- 2:05Speaker 2: time until summer of 2028.
- 2:07Speaker 6: So if you watch that video, there's something that happens
- 2:09Speaker 6: in the beginning of the video that I watched over
- 2:10Speaker 6: and over again because I get such a kick out
- 2:12Speaker 6: of it. I don't know how well Tom Cruise and
- 2:13Speaker 6: Anne Hathaway know each other, but we know her as
- 2:15Speaker 6: Anne Hathaway. You ever heard people talk about Robert De Niro?
- 2:17Speaker 6: They call him Bobby. In the beginning of the video,
- 2:20Speaker 6: he's like, Annie, Annie, we got to make this. And
- 2:22Speaker 6: I'm like, wow, he calls her Annie.
- 2:24Speaker 2: His nickname for her.
- 2:26Speaker 1: It's pretty cool.
- 2:27Speaker 2: You can actually hear Olivia Rodrigo's Daisy Chainfield Festival tonight
- 2:30Speaker 2: right here on 104.7 KISS FM. The event itself raised
- 2:32Speaker 2: $ 10 million. And then Melinda French Gates announced she's going
- 2:36Speaker 2: to match that entire thing with another $ 10 million, bringing
- 2:39Speaker 2: in a total of $ 20 million for 10 nonprofits supporting
- 2:43Speaker 2: women and girls. Very cool event because all of the
- 2:47Speaker 2: huge stars that... went on stage with Olivia Rodrigo, they
- 2:50Speaker 2: just performed for free just so that they could raise
- 2:52Speaker 2: the extra money. So we're talking Stevie Nicks, Sarah McLachlan,
- 2:55Speaker 2: and Alanis Morissette.
- 2:55Speaker 1: I think I know what I want Don't you think?
- 2:57Speaker 1: It's like praying I'm.
- 2:59Speaker 4: Not getting paid It's a free holiday.
- 3:11Speaker 2: So something actually really cool happened right after Olivia's performance
- 3:15Speaker 2: with Stevie Nicks. Sandra Bullock posted that these are the
- 3:18Speaker 2: voices of two angels in a new movie coming out.
- 3:21Speaker 2: And everyone's like, oh, wait a minute. Does that mean
- 3:24Speaker 2: Olivia Rodrigo and Stevie Nicks are doing music for practical reasons?
- 3:29Speaker 1: Magic 2.
- 3:29Speaker 2: That's what everyone's assuming, although nothing's been confirmed just yet.
- 3:33Speaker 1: That would be really cool. That makes a lot of sense.
- 3:35Speaker 4: I know.
- 3:35Speaker 2: And Stevie Nicks, I guess her music was a really
- 3:37Speaker 2: big part of Practical Magic 1, so it would definitely
- 3:40Speaker 2: make sense.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Yeah, that song, Regan, it's about a witch.
- 3:42Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Cardi B, she actually just revealed her music video, Aha,
- 3:46Speaker 2: was supposed to cost about $ 250, 000, but it ended up
- 3:49Speaker 2: being much more than that.
- 3:51Speaker 3: Well, this video came out to be over a million.
- 3:54Speaker 3: And this is... me off because if you look at
- 3:57Speaker 3: the video it doesn't even give that but the way
- 4:00Speaker 3: sometimes because I'm Cardi B I be getting overcharged is
- 4:03Speaker 3: annoying for example I really wanted to do my music
- 4:06Speaker 3: video in a small block in the Bronx no they
- 4:09Speaker 3: made me do it in different places and to get
- 4:11Speaker 3: permit it was so expensive and I feel like they
- 4:14Speaker 3: overcharged me for permits it was about 40 NYPD cops
- 4:18Speaker 3: which made it impossible we couldn't even get right shoots
- 4:21Speaker 3: because like they was just doing too much.
- 4:24Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, that makes sense on why Cardi B
- 4:26Speaker 4: is literally in her bag right now. She is, like,
- 4:29Speaker 4: doing every brand collab possible. She just announced that she
- 4:32Speaker 4: is doing a collaboration with Huda Beauty. It's called Ultra Smash,
- 4:36Speaker 4: and it's going to be, like, a setting baked powder.
- 4:38Speaker 4: And then she's also collaborating with Chipotle. Chipotle posted on
- 4:41Speaker 4: their Instagram, like, this bedazzled burrito bowl with Cardi B's
- 4:45Speaker 4: name on it. But it's to launch their new chili
- 4:48Speaker 4: lime chips. So that's going to be, yeah.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Their chips are good.
- 4:53Speaker 4: Yeah, definitely. So yeah, Cardi actually announced that on her
- 4:56Speaker 4: Instagram before it was supposed to be announced on the launch,
- 4:58Speaker 4: which was supposed to be today. So it was kind
- 5:00Speaker 4: of awkward on her. That's how she messed up at work. Okay,
- 5:02Speaker 4: Zara Larsson, she is setting kind of the record straight
- 5:05Speaker 4: about her career. She told her team that she absolutely
- 5:08Speaker 4: does not want to be put into the ring for
- 5:11Speaker 4: the best new artist at the Grammys. And she's like,
- 5:13Speaker 4: that completely discredits all 13 years of the music that
- 5:16Speaker 4: I've been making.
- 5:17Speaker 1: I'm not a new artist.
- 5:18Speaker 4: Just because I had one song that popped off and
- 5:20Speaker 4: made me viral and now I'm mainstream doesn't mean that
- 5:22Speaker 4: I'm a new artist.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Huh.
- 5:24Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 5:24Speaker 1: I think I'd take it if they give you that honor.
- 5:26Speaker 4: I know.
- 5:27Speaker 1: That's still great exposure. And a Grammy's a Grammy.
- 5:29Speaker 4: But she doesn't want it at all.
