Transcript
- 0:01[SPEAKER_00]: time for the 49ers rush podcast.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_00]: and here's your host, John Chapman.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_02]: What is going on faithful in his absolute incredible beauty, guys?
- 0:38[SPEAKER_02]: It's Thursday, which means it's time for the coach approach, where we jump behind the lines.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_02]: And we try to figure out what the 49ers have done well from a coaching and schematic angle and what we want to see them doing this upcoming week.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_02]: This is turning into a lot of people's favorite show.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_02]: And as always, with me is the man, aunt, from 49ers cut back, how are we doing it?
- 0:59[SPEAKER_01]: I'm doing good, how are you doing, John?
- 1:01[SPEAKER_01]: We are officially in the brand and I, you couple, the commanders, the 49ers, it's gonna be a fun week.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_01]: I'm excited about this game and the 49ers being five, you know, it's huge.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_01]: And so we'll see if they can go six and oh, and I think there's a lot of opportunities for them to make some things happen this week.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_01]: And I think they're gonna do pretty well, but it's definitely interesting when you got Jayden Daniels there.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I don't know if you're going to feel disrespected, but the 40 years coming in five and then we'll see what his mom has to say about that.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_02]: Man, yeah, I love the Netflix series that they do and like I really enjoy that.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_02]: There's always somebody that comes out of that, just looking kind of like, oh, that's kind of rough.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_02]: Um, yeah, that that was weird.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, five and oh, you know, you're not allowed to do that out of this rate.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_02]: The only thing that would make this game better is if the Marcus Robinson was suit
- 1:57[SPEAKER_02]: That would be like the icing on the cake because when democracy's Robinson switched his number to 11.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_02]: Oh Dude spinal tap command man like it was just perfect Anyway, that's what it is.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_02]: I want to say thank you to all the hashtag CC's all the hashtag CC's TCC's Joseph's this I'm torn dry watching on inch channel or John's always good intel I'll watch it on one then again on the other
- 2:23[SPEAKER_02]: We appreciate wherever.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_02]: If you are stuck, go to the cut pack.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_02]: That's where you should start and shoot.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_02]: Or you just be the superhero that David is.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_02]: It says, I got one of my phone and one on the TV.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_02]: That is the correct answer, but we'll take whatever.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_02]: If you're just enjoying and spending any time with us whatsoever, we are beyond grateful.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_02]: Look at this Danish 49er.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_02]: Good evening from
- 2:53[SPEAKER_02]: is around everywhere and I love it.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_02]: Look at Ben Hashtag C. C. Go Broncos.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_02]: That's right, man.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_02]: Dude, okay, so I have to confess a little bit here.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_02]: One of my friends is coming over to watch the game tonight.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_02]: He's a Seahawks fan and I told him I was like, look.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_02]: We always watch Thursday nights together when we can.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_02]: I will chill a little bit.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not going to celebrate your team, but come on over.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_02]: We'll have some Bruce Gies.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_02]: We'll have a good time.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_02]: We'll share it fellowship.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, I'm going for the Broncos big time.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_02]: What are your thoughts real quick?
- 3:24[SPEAKER_02]: Just on kind of the state of Seattle, right?
- 3:28[SPEAKER_02]: Three and two, where do you see the Seahawks long term?
- 3:32[SPEAKER_02]: Are they still that juggernaut that should be feared?
- 3:36[SPEAKER_02]: Or has the kind of 49ers conquered the slain giant?
- 3:39[SPEAKER_02]: And it's just 49ers versus themselves moving forward.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I don't think it's conquered.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_01]: I think Seattle, you know, definitely is the team the 49ers can beat.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_01]: I think that that is evident.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think the Seattle Seahawks have an offense that should put the fear into anybody, especially the 49ers the way that their defense plays.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_01]: But I think the stock is so formidable and there's still a team that if you make mistakes against they can beat you because short fields that offense is pretty But defectively there's still a problem because of the talent that they have with guys like them in worry in the secondary, but that defensive line especially Foreigners didn't really good job.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think the 49ers would be fearful to see adults.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_01]: I think around the league they're still one of the teams to beat and
- 4:24[SPEAKER_01]: If things don't go your way, you have Jacob cowing turnovers and you start having those issues, I think that they can't get you.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_01]: So I think there's still the top teams.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_01]: I do think 49ers are a better football team top debunk and I think that if they play a game and they will and we 12, I think the 49ers will probably win.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_01]: I just have confidence in the 49ers and whether at right now.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_01]: And I think special team is going to get better and I think the turnovers will get better when that happens.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_01]: I think that it could actually be a little bit bigger distance between the 49ers to see how twin come to the score.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_02]: I would like that, uh, label up says, you know, four hours could be three and a half games up on their division and Seattle loses tonight.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_02]: God, Lee, man.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_02]: And the 49ers get there win on Monday night, stacking that lead.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you know, the baseball people know, whatever.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_02]: You're having games daily, and you're watching, you know, the wild card standings, the divisional standings, and what those half game means, and those tie breakers mean, and all that stuff, it's huge.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_02]: So the, the further that lead gets,
- 5:25[SPEAKER_02]: But man, he starts to look at the 49ers roster and it's like, man, help is on the horizon.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_02]: He had McHell Williams come back last week.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_02]: I only played 23 SNS made such a big difference.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_02]: lot more players, you know, kind of in the cusp, both of us, he got to practice this week.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_02]: You know, are you going to see?
- 5:42[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think Kirk practices this week for sure, but like Kyle used Jack, James Thompson Jr.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_02]: There's guys that are waiting in the wings to return.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_02]: Would you say ant that the 49ers should be worried because their play is going to decent or that the sky's the limit and man, I think the 49ers can actually improve overall as a roster with the players coming back.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_01]: I think it'd be a bad, I mean, any time you add a player like Nick Bosa back in or Demarkis Robbson or some of the other they have on the IR, it's quite a getting an influx of talent.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_01]: It's getting a trade.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_01]: It's decent and getting those players that can help your football team.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_01]: And the 49ers got a lot of those guys.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_01]: You know, that's one of the things when you're...
- 6:26[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, with injuries, you're also blessed when those guys come back as long as the rest of your team can stay healthy.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_01]: And so getting both of that out there will be a huge upgrade for this football team, getting how you check back in there to Marcus Robinson for seeing this offense, still move the football consistently without some of the key confers to the first couple weeks of the season.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_01]: And so I think, yeah, they're very, very better and better at the season goes on.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_01]: And that's why I feel confident about a week 12 match a versatile or the impending match up against the Los Angeles Rams down the road is the 40 fighters are going to get better.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_01]: They're getting more comfortable with the, or he more assists though.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_01]: They're getting more comfortable playing more reps for some of these young guys, the depth is getting better.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_01]: I think the sky is the limit for this football team and how good are they going to be?
- 7:11[SPEAKER_01]: When you get to week 16, week 17, I think it could be really good.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_02]: Man, that is exciting.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_02]: Look at this, mega, big mix coming up with a huge super chat.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you so much.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_02]: Autopic.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_02]: But as far as needs are concerned, Bosa, missing, and getting five sacks for us to see chickens.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_02]: Mike Evans, missing, this thing is probably two and three.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_02]: We need to receive her to compliment Evans.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to bet a super bowl on a rookie or cooks.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_02]: You know, it's funny because if you look over the time that Bosa has missed, the 40 irons have a losing record.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_02]: Since both has been out collectively throughout his time with the 49ers when he misses losing record when he's in three to one wins the loss ratio Now my Kevin's it's been five games and whatever he plays.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_02]: They've won every single one of them and we talked about this last year When they played the Seahawks you don't have a receiving threat you don't have anybody to offset this incredible defense
- 8:11[SPEAKER_02]: Mike Evans seems to be that key, but they are still just one widers say I tweeted during the game.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_02]: Imagine if Brock party had more than one wide receiver he trusts.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_02]: Is the answer on the roster currently or do they have to look elsewhere and adding a wide receiver to this roster?
- 8:30[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's interesting because they have so many guys that are available.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_01]: And when those guys are ready to play, this the night of wide receiver room is it's pretty good.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_01]: You don't have room for everybody those those young guys at the end of the roster, they become expendable and I know nobody wants to hear.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_01]: You know, that Jacob Cowling or Jordan Walk, and those guys might not be on this team when everyone's healthy, but that's the truth.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_01]: When you get back, Debo Samuel, that's probably going to happen after the by-week.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_01]: You get to Marcus Robinson back.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_01]: Those guys do compliment Mike Evans.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_01]: You could bring back Christian Kirk.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_01]: They intended to bring back Christian Kirk the entire time with the fact they put on the IR, with the intention for him to return.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, right there alone, that is a tremendous amount of talent of veteran, wide receivers, that know how to get it done.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_01]: And then you have in December to John Strippling coming back.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_01]: And that's that big explosive six foot two weapon that can go down the field.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_01]: That compliments Mike Evans as well.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_01]: That was allowing Mike Evans to play in the slot a lot because he could play X.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_01]: So I think they have enough talent if they got everyone healthy.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_01]: But I think the question is, do they ever feel like they're going to get everyone healthy?
- 9:34[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that the only John Lynch and Kyle Shannon in the guys in the room right now know what that's going to look like.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_01]: But I think if they're wanting to use draft capital, they're not wanting to use it on wide receiver.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_01]: They're wanting to use it on other positions, defensive and defensive tackle, they're kind of giving themselves a boost on the defensive side of the ball.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_01]: Because they feel like they're scoring pretty 20 points for a game.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_01]: They feel like it's often still rural, no matter who's out there.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_01]: So I expect them to kind of roll with the guys they got.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_01]: Um, it's interesting to go and get a guy that could compliment Mike Evans even though I feel like they probably feel like they got the guy in the room already.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, look at this.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_02]: This hurts just reading shout out to my man Chris Bino.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_02]: He says the answer is Ricky Pierce all it would be nice in man.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_02]: Imagine if you had Mike Evans Sean Strivley and Ricky Pierce saw as you're one, two, three and then you sprinkle in Debo and Demarchus Robinson.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_02]: That is a formidable wide receiver core that matches Brock party strength.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe that's a long-term plan.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe we see that next year.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_02]: But like ah, they spent the resources on the
- 10:37[SPEAKER_02]: And like yeah, we didn't even mention Kirk who I think it's calf fell off the bone Yeah, who knows what like good gosh, man.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_02]: I was rewatched varsity blues the movie The other day just because I'm for Texas and you have to do it Otherwise you lose like your Texas citizenship and like man when booby Dixon goes down and like everybody knows He's injured, but they put him out there anyway the whole time I'm just like dude, this is Ricky Pierce all like this is Ricky Pierce all
- 11:03[SPEAKER_02]: And then it just like completely just just anyway, maybe that's just me my own therapy is there look at the man Gill in the house.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_02]: We are all Broncos fans tonight right 100%.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I and I will say this probably what I'm most excited about the uniforms.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_02]: It's at throwback the orange crush versus Seattle.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_02]: I love both of those uniforms.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_02]: I don't love Seattle's uniform.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_02]: They're aesthetically pleasing to look at.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_02]: I don't love them.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_02]: They're nice to look at, but I hate them with a passion.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_02]: Kimbro coming in with Super Chat, how big is it?
- 11:36[SPEAKER_02]: If we get to eight and no and go into the by week, getting our players back, how do you make the argument, the 49ers aren't the best team in the NFL right now?
- 11:49[SPEAKER_02]: If they keep stacking wins, at Commanders, Commanders are not a legitimate franchise, not a legitimate team, but they did beat Seattle,
- 11:57[SPEAKER_02]: And then you look at, man, the Falcons, yeah, they're kind of, they're good and bad.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_02]: Lost to a backup quarterback last week, but the Ravens are very, very good.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, like, what is the approach of the front office?
- 12:10[SPEAKER_02]: Kyle, she had a hand in John Lynch.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_02]: Does eight know versus kind of five and two, whatever, five and three?
- 12:18[SPEAKER_02]: Does that change your approach to the trade deadline?
- 12:23[SPEAKER_01]: I think right now the 49ers are in all in mode.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_01]: I think that they see it right.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_01]: They see that this team is one of the best.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_01]: They've beat three good football teams this year.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_01]: The Rams, the Seahawks and the Broncos, and I think that they know that they have an opportunity to go get a six-limbari.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that they are going to be very active.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_01]: in the trade market.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if that means they're gonna spend a lot when it comes to draft capital, but I think they're looking for shrewd moves that they can go get players that can help this football team and if they feel like they can get a player that can help for the next two years, they will spend a little bit more.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that John Lynch sees this team for what they are.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_01]: They're a really good football team that's been playing out of their mind.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_01]: They got all the right players in the right places and with a move here, they are strategically,
- 13:11[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, basically unbeatable.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I know turn over things in our real issue, but I mean, as far as talent wise, they should go into every game favored because of the abuse that they have as a key position.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that they're going to make a move.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_01]: I think it would be at least one trade deadline move.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_01]: that that tries to put the 49 over the top.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_01]: We see them do it in 2020.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_01]: We see them do it in 2022.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_01]: They needed a password for 2023.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_01]: They got Christian McAfrey in 2022.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_01]: I expect to move.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just wondering who is going to come available that the 49 are going to ultimately target.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_01]: There's going to be somebody and well, that's going to play out over the next two weeks and I think the 49 are going to go get them.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and that's kind of what I want to see, um, if they can, I hope so.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_02]: Look at this, I messed up big tone.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_02]: I think I said varsity blues and fried out lights.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_02]: I watch Friday night lights, the Billy Bob Thornton, the movie.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, so thank you big tone.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_02]: Gotta keep me honest.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_02]: But I throw a shade on varsity blues.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_02]: It's amazing.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_02]: It is amazing.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_02]: Right here, label ups is, what's teams are not currently under 500?
- 14:10[SPEAKER_02]: Do you expect to become so close to the trade deadline?
- 14:15[SPEAKER_02]: That's the thing that you got to keep watching is like, you got to pay a attention to and I hate to do this because I don't like people lose in their jobs, but whenever you have coaches or general managers being relieved of their position, that is the signal, okay, this team is up for sale.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_02]: You haven't seen one of those happy yet.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_02]: Now, you are seeing, you know, Demiko Ryan's take over play calling.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_02]: You're seeing different coaches.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I'm going to take over that step one.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_02]: That's not sell mode yet.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_02]: But once some play now, I don't expect to make Orion's to be like, oh, but that's what you've got to start watching.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_02]: Now you start talking about these teams through the NFC East is just such a joke.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_02]: Like the giant certain first place, but nobody respects them.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_02]: They're not going to be in cell mode.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_02]: The cowboys, they're not going to be in cell mode.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_02]: They're still trading for players.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_02]: Eagles not going into cell mode.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_02]: Their city would kill them.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_02]: Washington Commanders may be
- 15:10[SPEAKER_02]: If they lose two to three more games and like I could see Dan Quinn and Adam Peters and just be in a complete reset in that organization like both those guys, but man, yeah, this kind of dips into a little bit of what we talk, the commanders are a poorly coach team on offense and defense, you watch the tape and it's just like, dude, this is not this team's not sync, you're not using the players to their best abilities.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of guys are kind of out of position, a lot of mistakes, like it just reminds me of like JV football.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_02]: I'm kind of oversimplifying here, but I so let's let's use this question from label.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_02]: What do you see with the commanders and how do you interpret the rest of their season going there, one, three and one right now.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think there are a loss or two away from some decisions made in the front office.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_01]: I do.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_01]: I think that, you know, Dan Quinn, I think that's why you saw the frustration at the end of the game.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he wants to win the football game, but he knows he's been down this road before.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_01]: He knows that this could mean the end of his time as a coach in the NFL.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, Adam Peters, this would be another time where potentially failed.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_01]: And they have a quarterback.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_01]: So it's not a question of if we got a quarterback in here, we could get some things done.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_01]: They have their franchise quarterback.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_01]: So I think the Washington community is around the verge of making decisions.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_01]: If the office came to them and said the ownership's paying, you guys are good, do it's best for our football team in the future.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_01]: They will turn into sellers immediately.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_01]: If they're trying to hold on to their jobs, they're going to hold on a little bit longer.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_01]: But at some point, this thing's going to play out because
- 16:45[SPEAKER_01]: They are a struggling football team.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_01]: They haven't been very good.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_01]: And I think the 49ers, you know, this is very reminiscent of what the 49ers did to Caroline and 22, or can they go in there and finish them off and all of the sudden, yeah, things start to change and they're starting to trade players away.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_01]: And then all of a sudden, guys like Terry McLaren and Doron Payne become available for contenders around the league.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_01]: It could be interesting.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and, you know, news just came out a couple of minutes ago, the Eagles are about to be without jail and hurts, probably without say quen Barclay and Tevanta Smith is upcoming week that dropped them to two and four.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_02]: I do take the writings kind of on the wall, but.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like the internet and that's a thing the NFC east is such a bad division that man You might be able to get into the playoffs within eight and nine record like you didn't got to win that many So it's a little bit different than some of the other divisions where you have Quality teams up top and you get into sell mode the NFC east is dark trash.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_02]: They didn't have one win last week And they played each other like
- 17:48[SPEAKER_02]: They're they're not a good team the commanders are just bad and they got a tough schedule coming up.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_02]: So they got the young quarterback could they offload some pieces.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe Maybe we'll have to watch that one and kind of see how it's going to go.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_02]: But Yeah, let's talk about this Ed.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_02]: John just curious it shows this 26 on special teams, but my eyes are saying something different.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_02]: What are your thoughts?
- 18:14[SPEAKER_02]: I'll say this
- 18:16[SPEAKER_02]: Coralist Waitman has been awesome.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_02]: He like, punter of the year type stuff.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_02]: I think he's the best punter of the 40 hours of hats in St. D. Lee.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_02]: He's on a pro bowl kind of status.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_02]: He is unbelievable.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_02]: All five punts inside the 20 with zero return yards against Seattle.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_02]: And man, you don't get that defense of touching out from grace and halting without Coralist Waitman.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_02]: He's been great.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_02]: Any pinnero, I think it's a little,
- 18:42[SPEAKER_02]: too early to like be in panic mode at all.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_02]: You had one blocked because of Carver Willis didn't block anybody.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he shanked to 54 yarder and he missed two extra points.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_02]: He made a game when he kicked at Seattle.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_02]: Like I am fine with with what they have at Eddie Piniero.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_02]: Jacob Cowen, stupid dumbest decision I've ever seen in football,
- 19:10[SPEAKER_02]: back to back to back games with great plays.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_02]: So just give it time.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_02]: I like I'm not overly concerned.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_02]: What's your worry meter 1 to 10 for 49 special teams overall?
- 19:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, probably like a four or five, you know, I'm not really worried about it.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_01]: The syringe, the old thing was a fluke, he doesn't usually end up on the ground, but he ended up on the ground on that one.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_01]: That was frustrating, but you're right.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_01]: He's been playing really good over the last couple of weeks from that fumble, that he was able to get to kind of pitch in that pull back.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_01]: I thought that was really good last week.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_01]: Coralis Waitman, he's phenomenal.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the punten side of the 10 are really good.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_01]: The hang time on those, the covers seem to get down there.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_01]: It's been fantastic.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_01]: Um, so I don't think that they're actually as bad as the EPA says they are, uh, but I think that there's been a couple of things here.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_01]: They're the Eddie Pinedaro extra points being missed.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_01]: That doesn't help.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_01]: Field goals.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_01]: That doesn't help.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that there's things like that, but they could tighten this thing up and in the next several weeks end up, you know, in the top half of the league and eventually in the top 10.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_01]: Brad Boyer, there's still one thing I can guarantee.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to get in some people's faces.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_01]: It might not be on the sideline.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_01]: It might be in the meeting, but he's going to get in some people's faces.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to lie to fire under them.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_01]: And we see this every year with the 49ers.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_01]: If they're not healthy, special team suffers a little bit, they just don't have as good a talent.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_01]: So as they get healthy, expect that special team to get a little bit better.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_02]: I like that.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_02]: Look at this.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_02]: Rick the rush crew.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_02]: If you've ever been to one of our events you've seen, Rick, he is the bad.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you for your super chat.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you for your support.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_02]: He says, what's up, boys?
- 20:39[SPEAKER_02]: Do you think this is trap game and tell us about all the tailgates?
- 20:42[SPEAKER_02]: Can't wait.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think it's trap game for several reasons.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_02]: One, it's Monday night football.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_02]: The entire world's going to be watching you.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_02]: two jaded Daniels rush i mean that offense rush for 200 yards last week so your defense is going to be on point and then on top of that man you've got Adam Peters you know in the front office he's responsible for drafting and signing a lot of these guys you've got javon kin law like there's a lot of overlap there's a
- 21:14[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not into the trap game, whatever.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_02]: Now, the commander's kind of like a junk ball pitcher.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_02]: Man, we're getting the baseball analogies in this show.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_02]: Like, they, again, they beat Seattle.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_02]: And so like, that's all you gotta do.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_02]: You just keep showing clips from when they beat Seattle to get your team amped up.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_02]: I do not consider this a trap game.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_02]: What about you?
- 21:35[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I didn't kind of throw it out that this could be a track game type week if you're not careful because you're coming up such a big high of beating the Seattle sea hogs kind of exercising some of those demons that you had from the season before and you're coming in against a commander's team that let's be honest, they're not that good.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_01]: And so you can kind of have a let down if you're not careful.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I'm not saying that this team is going to do that.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_01]: I think that this team is going to be OK because I think Kyle Shenan's going to show them video of 2019 and say, like, look at this Atlanta situation.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_01]: We came to this game.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_01]: We should have beat it land and they beat us.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_01]: Don't let that happen to you.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_01]: Don't let that big win against Seattle.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_01]: It'll kind of get minimalized by the fact that you lose this game against the commander.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that they're going to be there.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_01]: I also think that something else is going to help motivate is Brandon.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the fact that he talks so much trash about the belt coming all that, these guys are going to want to make sure they go up their handle biz, so he doesn't have anything to post on social media or nothing like that.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_01]: There is some real motivation for someone's stuff like that.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_01]: I guarantee it plus, you know, devoli, this is the old team, you know, you talk about Javan Kinlam, the other side, so there's a lot of those things, I think they're going to help the 49ers.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_01]: The emotional letdown is always something you've worked out when coming into these games, but you're right, prime time is going to help Monday night football 49ers Brock pretty George kid will always show it on prime time So that gives me a lot of hope that they're going to come in and handle business
- 22:56[SPEAKER_02]: I like that.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_02]: And if you want to join us, as Rick says to join us in our tailgates, man, we still have trips to Atlanta, Dallas, Mexico City, Los Angeles, just go to 40 diners rush road trip.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_02]: And if you've never been to one of our vids, man, they're a good time.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_02]: Family friendly, all about community, you meet new people, you have fun.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_02]: Niners fans everywhere.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_02]: And just the utmost, I mean, here's our tailgates.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_02]: It's premium drinks, food, alcohol, you name it.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_02]: We do not spare
- 23:27[SPEAKER_02]: 49ers rush road trip is going into it's sixth year with over 40 events at road games if you are traveling to see the 49ers play this year you got to come party with us and on top of that we give games trivia giveaways we partnered with tick pick this year all you have to do is search 49ers rush on any of the tick pick sights apps you name it and on top of all of that.

- 24:30[SPEAKER_02]: Um, only got so many trips that we can do and just not going to be able to make it back.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sorry about that.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_02]: But if I hear of a tailgate, I will post it.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_02]: And again, like I love sharing other people's stuff.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_02]: If you don't want to party with us, I get it.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_02]: We're pricey.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_02]: We're definitely at the top end of the price list.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_02]: I know everybody can't participate in that.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_02]: And that's okay.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_02]: As long as you're with nine of fans anywhere.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_02]: I'm all for like sharing anything I can if you've got a chapter of it.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_02]: Tag me on it social media.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_02]: I want the people to be together.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I want.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_02]: So anyway, check with that right here.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_02]: We got a question for Kimbro.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_02]: Thanks for the super chat, my friend.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_02]: And do you think Ronaldo greens early?
- 25:06[SPEAKER_02]: Dominance is sustainable.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_02]: Question directed to the resident.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_02]: Ronaldo Green President.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, he's a Florida state guy and I was a Florida state.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a Florida state fans.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, it's tough times for Florida state by the way.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_01]: So condolences to all of us and in the nation, but yeah, I think you look at Renardo Green and this is the expectation.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_01]: This is what people thought he was going to be coming out of the past and the fact that he's making the playoffs on the football, the interceptions.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_01]: That's huge.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_01]: This guy is a notorious for getting his hands on the ball.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_01]: It was never was able to.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_01]: kind of get those interceptions, but he looks confident, he looks comfortable, and I think that that really plays into what we kind of expected last year, that maybe he wasn't all the way healthy, he was less physical last year coming up and helping on the run, this year he's a little bit more into it, but I also think that he went through the off season.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_01]: I think he took what the 49ers said to him, to heart.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, this guy looks like a legit
- 26:02[SPEAKER_01]: number one corner back in the league, that's what he's playing like, and I've said, I think this 49er second area, this is the best they've had since 2022 when they had charvarius war, and they had diameter of the nor, uh, together to go with a really good safety group, and I think that that is where the 49ers are at, and Ronaldo brings a big reason why he's
- 26:18[SPEAKER_01]: His technique is really good.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_01]: He's not getting beat on double moves.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_01]: He baited the quarterback last week into throwing him in a section.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, and in the drive on the football team, the understanding on the Jackson, the Jigbo play on the outside.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_01]: The understanding of what the coverage was, what he had as far as help, and then just driving on the football.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_01]: The perfect angle.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_01]: He knew what was coming.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_01]: and he took it away.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_01]: It was such a nice play.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, this is sustainable.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_01]: I think I think Ronaldo Green is becoming the best partner back on the 49ers team.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_01]: And that's crazy to say, because coming into the season, I think we all would have said it was up and stout.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_01]: That was going to be the best corner of the 49ers team.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_01]: But I think it's going to be Ronaldo Green.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's the one that's going to get the big contract.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_01]: And then they'll start discussing what they're going to do with the Amro.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to start feeling like Tavari is ward here in a minute.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_02]: Man, I don't know, my rankings right now would be Renardo Green up to the Stout Dimo.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_02]: And that's not a slight to Dimo.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_02]: I think Dimo is still very, very good.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_02]: And I think he's adequately paid for where he is on the corner back spectrum.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_02]: But man, Renata Green has just been unbelievable.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_02]: Look at Big Poppice.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, Coach Gray.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, for him, Morris and Coach Gray came in and just solidified everything in that secondary.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_02]: And it's turned into a strength of the team.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_02]: Look at this, Chris Bino.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_02]: My man, he says, my buddy just became a 40 and I just fan this off season.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_02]: He was a lifelong Packer's fan.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_02]: We will be in Dallas, can't we see you, man?
- 27:42[SPEAKER_02]: It's funny because
- 27:44[SPEAKER_02]: You know, switch the teams, all right here, JM.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_02]: He says switch the teams is wild.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_02]: I don't have lambs.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_02]: It's Seattle fans do it.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_02]: Like I'll say this Rick, who was just in the Rick and the Rush crew, he'll see Seattle fans or whatever.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_02]: And he's he's got that personality.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_02]: He'll be like, you look a lot better and red.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_02]: We got a jersey for you if you wear it.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_02]: He converted to Seahawks fans.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_02]: It's like his day is I'll give you a 49er's jersey, but you gotta wear it.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_02]: You gotta put it on and you gotta wear it.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_02]: And if they say yes, he gives him a jersey.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_02]: And so we were able to convert to Seahawks fans into 90s fans there.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_02]: It was crazy, man, to see in that live, it's just like, whoa, what is happening here?
- 28:24[SPEAKER_02]: Hector Seattle was a blast, nice to meet you out there, bro.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_02]: Tellgate was lit to appreciate your hector, you're the freakin' man.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_02]: Stud, too, hector's man, right here.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_02]: Speaking of Seattle, Alex, incredible welcome in the team at the airport.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_02]: Just the vibes there were at an all-time high.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_02]: That was a top five 49ers game experience weekend I've ever had.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, you brought up earlier in the show that like the 49ers have been five and oh, in the past, they lost to the Browns.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_02]: They were five and oh, then they lost to the Falcons.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_02]: They've been here before.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_02]: Can they take that next step and kind of, you know, go to, I don't know if they were five and oh, before they lost the Falcons, but they were on like a five game stretch, I think.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_01]: That was the one that, yeah, they had just started winning big again.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_01]: They had lost the one to Seattle, they were eight.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_01]: No, they lost the Seattle on that last second field goal.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_01]: And then eventually, they got back on their winning ways.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_01]: And they had a big old win.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_01]: And basically, we're like clinching the two most.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_01]: And then they lost that one, which made the Seattle hand again at the end of the season.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that was a little bit different situation.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, emotional eyes.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I love it.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_02]: Lou, Rick, he corrected me.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_02]: Dude, they paid us.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_02]: They liked the 49ers jersey.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_02]: We had to throwbacks.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_02]: The rivalry once I think is what it was.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, we were able to convert them, man.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_02]: Right here he said, yeah, they paid us 200 for those two jerseys roll over the floor.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_02]: Get a Seattle fan to buy a jersey and then put it on in front of us.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_02]: Whoo!
- 29:52[SPEAKER_02]: That was awesome.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_02]: That was awesome.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, dude.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_02]: I just write your Gabriel.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_02]: How does J.C. ever come down for these games and trips?
- 30:00[SPEAKER_02]: Not well, dude.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_02]: And that's a big reason why I couldn't go to Jersey is just because I can't do the back-to-back trips.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_02]: And man, the one that I am doing back to back is Dallas, Mexico, but my family's there.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_02]: So it thinks giving's there.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_02]: So that was gonna be rough.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_02]: Got to do it.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_02]: The kiddos are there now.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_02]: So I got to go see him anyway.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_02]: See out right here.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_02]: I just want everyone to know that I bought Rick you waters water and a beer too.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_02]: How cool is that Rick you waters was amazing.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_02]: You are the freaking man.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_02]: Now let's look at some coaching decisions from last week.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_02]: I want to open the floor to you.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_02]: What were some scheme coaching decisions, personnel, and whatever that stood out to you most in the 49ers for Seahawks, that victory?
- 30:47[SPEAKER_02]: Where do you think the coaches kind of set their team up for victory?
- 30:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm going to start with Kyle Spanahan.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_01]: And I thought that he was very particular.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_01]: What kind of running back running him looks they were going to get?
- 30:59[SPEAKER_01]: uh... they didn't run the ball a lot you know and you look at the success rate of of christian macafre and you would say hey why didn't they just keep running the football well cash in and had a a plan to go into that game to not allow negative plays again he didn't want to fall behind uh... so he did it and he brought those receivers in really tied a game with those splits and try to take advantage of nicknames worry which we knew they were going to do and that four years offensive line blocks so good when it came to
- 31:23[SPEAKER_01]: uh... run blocking i thought that they looked really good in that game uh... conical way of struggle when it came to the past protection but not when it came to run block and he's very good and so i thought that he did a real good job of mixing and running keeping a nice balance so that we when they could throw and they needed to throw uh... they were successful i thought that that was a really good plan
- 31:43[SPEAKER_01]: Also thought their red zone plan was phenomenal.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the 49ers every single week.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like that is the best part of their game plan as well in the red zone and they just catalyze so well 87.5% of the time there's going to touch down it's ridiculous.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_01]: Like this is video game type numbers.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_01]: uh... some of it is brought pretty but the forty-nine is yet a precaution and just on it i was the brilliant press with that game plan overall and how well they ran against the at all because that is a problem for them you know what's crazy as you talk about the forty-nine is red zone success rate
- 32:22[SPEAKER_02]: The commander's defense red zone 30 second dead last in the NFL, they are giving up touchdowns on 15 out of 18 red zone possessions 83% so the worst team in the NFL defense the 49ers are higher than that percentage against the Rams against the C Hawks against the Broncos, which are three of kind of the top 10 top 15, you know, defenses out there.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_02]: Man, like, how do you do this with kiddo Evan the flu with Mike Evans not even out there?
- 32:57[SPEAKER_02]: Like, there's just some things that brought Perti and Kyle Shanahan in this offensive line are doing.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_02]: Like, man, that one run.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_02]: It was right after one of the mini turnovers where they had the ball at the 11 yard.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to, this play just was so awesome.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_02]: Connor Colby,
- 33:14[SPEAKER_02]: blows up the defensive tackle, brindle scoops under very, very well.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_02]: And then Colby moves to the linebacker and drives him back six yards.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_02]: Like he was in the end zone.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_02]: Like Connor Colby just said, and he had a horrible drive before that.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_02]: And he came out after that turnover and it's just like run, run right behind me, damn it.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_02]: And that's what they did.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_02]: And like he single-handedly ushered, Christian McCaffrey into the end zone.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_02]: So like if you can get more,
- 33:41[SPEAKER_02]: of that kind of movement in the run game and you could start to run the ball in the red zone.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_02]: It could get better.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_02]: There's no way it stays at 87%.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_02]: There's no way, right?
- 33:54[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think I can stay at 87 percent.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_01]: I think it'll settle at some point a little bit But they are going through some of the better defenses already in the NFL But you got to feel like at some point it would slow down, but you're also gonna get some guys back You know, people say is a big influence inside the red zone when he comes back that'll help
- 34:14[SPEAKER_01]: But that play that you brought up was just, I mean, overall it's how you draw it up from straight Williams getting an extra push so that way you could widen Christian McAfrey out a little bit so you can get in the lane from Mike Evans coming through and picking up the safety right there and getting a really nice block was just a well executed play.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_01]: And if you're going to execute like that, you're going to be very good in the red zone.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_01]: So where's it going to settle?
- 34:35[SPEAKER_01]: I had come out and said, I thought they were going to be over 70%.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_01]: This season of the red zone, I thought that that was saying a lot.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_01]: And now here they are 87.5%.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's ridiculous.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_01]: And through the Washington Commanders, you brought it up.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_01]: They're the worst.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_01]: This is going to be one of the key factors in this game.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_01]: At the 49ers can consistently get into the red zone.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_01]: They might blow the doors off the Washington Commanders in this game because they're just so good in the red zone, and I think that that's an area where you see it Team just aren't as good in the red zone on defense.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_01]: Four minutes defense pretty good, but Commanders terrible inside the red, but it's it's bad.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_02]: It's really bad.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_02]: Look at this Dale.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_02]: You freaking stud.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_02]: It says J.C. Did you do angels in me?
- 35:12[SPEAKER_02]: It's Seattle.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_02]: I need to know.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_02]: Dude, I appreciate you so much.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_02]: We went to this really cool bar.
- 35:16[SPEAKER_02]: I think it was called a dealer room.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_02]: It was kind of like this pre prohibition, you know, tin ceiling
- 35:22[SPEAKER_02]: tight bar and it was awesome and yeah we did partake uh we we we had some old fascist we had all kinds of things so Dale I appreciate you so much may hopefully we can enjoy one of those together uh one day appreciate you man Kim bro thanks again where do you rank per do or per day I'm pretty sure it's per do and quarterback rankings after the Seattle win
- 35:42[SPEAKER_02]: If you're looking at who's playing the best this year, it's number one, you can make an argument for Josh Allen maybe, you can make an argument for, you know, you want to get into Jared Goff maybe, but as far as like winning and just what he's done in the fourth quarter, I mean, shoot that those two drives to win the game,
- 36:03[SPEAKER_02]: That was awesome.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_02]: It was absolutely incredible.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_02]: Very reminiscent of the Super Bowl.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_02]: The only difference was the defense got to stop at the end of the game.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_02]: Brock Perti did the same crap in the Super Bowl and overtime, but the defense didn't answer the call.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_02]: So nobody remembers the elite Perti performance late in the game.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, I mean, you're going to have a hard time convincing me to put
- 36:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, you can't do it.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, 13 touchdowns, the two interceptions, he's, he's, he's been so good.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_01]: The police are presenting here 70% Brock Pertis is making the right place the right time.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_01]: And when you go against really good defenses, like you did against Seattle and Denver, there's going to be rough patches.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_01]: There's going to be drives that you don't move the ball consistently.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_01]: That's just the way it is.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_01]: But he found a way to win.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_01]: And you're right, those last two drives were really fantastic.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, he, he was finding, you know, Mike Evans and everyone's just basically acting like Brock Perti was like, oh, hey, Mike Evans is down there somewhere.
- 37:01[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just throw it up.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_01]: That's not what happened at all.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_01]: That back shoulder throw that he made to Mike Evans was tremendous.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, it was right where it needed to be.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_01]: And Evans really made a good play on it.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that there are a couple of throws away from Brock Perti, you know, be even better.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_01]: They got to get that beat come back done a little bit.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_01]: But, yeah, I'm, I'm pretty pumped about that Brock Perti and what he's doing for the steam.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's number one right now.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's hard not to go past that deal right here.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_02]: Did you hear Warner interview party on 97?
- 37:29[SPEAKER_02]: I did not.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_02]: I did not hear that one.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_02]: Again, I was traveling.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_02]: So I haven't checked that one out.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_02]: So appreciate the recommendation.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_02]: Everybody go check that one out.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_02]: Phil, the man.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_02]: I got to hang out with Phil this weekend.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_02]: It's a bribe and it was it was awesome.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_02]: Phil in the chat hashtag CC hashtag TCC.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_02]: Hopefully had a good time game day buddy.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_02]: That was an incredible game.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_02]: Let's pivot quickly.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go over and let's talk about what we see and what you want to see from the 49ers against the commanders right after this.

- 39:16[SPEAKER_02]: I use it.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_02]: I use it in Texas.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go mybookie.ag promo code 49ers.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_02]: look at this kibro says the zoom heyouts are freaking awesome our next one's coming up on the by week so uh... just two weeks away we'll do that right after that a falcon scheme will will have our next zoom hang out so stay tuned for that uh... but let's talk about some of the things that you want to see schematically forty-nine's first commanders money knife football how can the coaches scheme up another victory
- 39:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, this is one of the games you're going into where the commanders are pretty good running events.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_01]: So this is going to be a situation where the foreigners are thinking, I want to rely on the passing game a little bit.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_01]: You've got to keep them honest with the run game.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_01]: And I think the 40 hours always want to have some balance.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_01]: But I think it's going to come down to some big place for this passing game.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_01]: And I want to see the 49ers take it some, take advantage of some of those matchups on the outside.
- 40:13[SPEAKER_01]: And I know they got injuries at life receiver.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_01]: But when you have Christian McCaffer, you have George Kittle and Mike Evans,
- 40:20[SPEAKER_01]: be able to go get some things done and you know one of these defenses are going to have to take a chance and try to come up on Mike Evans.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_01]: You know we talked about gravity John for a few weeks now and guess what?
- 40:30[SPEAKER_01]: Now the field is going to start slanting Mike Evans way.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to start putting his safety over the top.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to try to get a little bit more help.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_01]: That's going to free some things up for other players.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_01]: So George Kittle, Christian McCaffrey, but also Jacob Cowen and Jordan Walkins.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_01]: And the next week or so is going to be extremely important for them.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_01]: They are going to have to make some big time close and they run in these three routes are getting vertical down the field.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_01]: When is it going to happen that one of these safety is over on Evans and one on one and Brock per day and corks one.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_01]: These guys have to make a play on it.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it'll be Brandon Cooks.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_01]: But these guys are are basically working out to see if they can keep their spot.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_01]: Because at some point, Debal, De Park is Rob's and Christian Kirk.
- 41:08[SPEAKER_01]: All coming back.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_01]: You have a roster spot.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_01]: They have to take advantage.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_01]: That's when we'll find out if the 49ers need to invest in wide receiver or not.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm going to keep expecting one of these big plays to happen hasn't happened yet, but I'm looking forward to that in this game.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and right here, silent.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you for the super chat.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_02]: He says, well, pretty success with evidence change.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_02]: 49ers wide receiver evil.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I think your referencing just the big body kind of post up player.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, there's not a lot of my Kevin's there's a lot of six four six five guys, but like my Kevin's kind of one on one one of one whenever it comes to that Stribbling's huge.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he's six two plus and he plays big.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_02]: He's got long arms like he you see some of that power forward, you know, post it up moves with Stribbling But Evans like is there anybody that you would even put in that category like in the past decade that does
- 42:01[SPEAKER_02]: What Evan does that is that big wide receiver.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, nobody's really coming to mind like Kelvin Benjamin, maybe, but like that wasn't successful.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't expect Kyle Shanning to change his wide receiver evil, but it is nice seeing Perti.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_02]: You know, we talked all off season.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_02]: I want to see back shoulder fate throws.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_02]: Brock Perti to Michael, I want to see that.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_02]: That wasn't a part of Brock's game until this year.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_02]: And here we are five weeks in.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_02]: We're seeing it almost every damn week.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_02]: I do want bigger whole-bodied X wide receiver types, and that's why I was such a big stripling guy.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, Ant and I were both really high on them, not as high as the 49ers were, but yeah, I don't know.
- 42:42[SPEAKER_02]: Do you see an evolution in the wide receiver Eval for Kyle Shinyan?
- 42:49[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's with all things right if you can get the biggest strong as fast as do that can do what you want within your offense.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_01]: That's who you're going to want to have the problem is you how many of those guys are really out there you brought it up I mean 65 you know what Megatron Larry Fitzgerald like.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_01]: You know, there's not very many of those guys that exist and Kelvin Benjamin he didn't work out and he came out in the same draft as Mike Evans, you know, those were two big body guys that people were trying to decide Mike Evans is is a freak right this guy's a unicorn and that's why he's going to be a first bout Hall of Famer.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_01]: So, yeah, I think the 40th definitely would be interested in getting a big body receiver if they could play like Mike Evans and, you know, we've seen Kyle Chin and have success with guys who are bigger, not as big as Mike Evans, but who we would call Andre Johnson, those guys have worked well.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_01]: So he does.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_01]: And I think stripling is the next guy that's six to, you know, big body guy that can play physical, the one thing that stripling has that Mike Evans does, and he has the long speed, man, that guy can absolutely run.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that whenever you can you always want to get those guys.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_01]: It's just how it's not that easy to get them, especially if you don't pick in the upper half of the first round of the draft.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and remember Steven right here on Drake Johnson.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_02]: She had a hand coach for two of his best seasons.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_02]: She had a hand coach Julio.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_02]: She had a hand coach a lot of those guys.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_02]: So I think it's kind of been there and you know, Dale, give me DK Metca.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_02]: Do the Pittsburgh Steelers are one game out of first place.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_02]: like they're not selling, this was a kind of try to cash in the last year with Aaron Rogers and whatever else like they are not selling.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_02]: So like, and yeah, DK Metcalf, that would be awesome.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm not a DK Metcalf fan, but he does a lot of things that make a valuable, I would love to have him on this roster right now.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_02]: But,
- 44:33[SPEAKER_02]: It might as well try to get prime time Michael Jordan because a three a two team one game out of this vision is not selling right It's so hopefully we'll get some of those and yeah, Dale says that a man a girl can hope a girl could dream But yes, it's just like ah, how do you get to that point?
- 44:52[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah anyway, and yeah right here.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_02]: I think this plays it to a big poppa Don't pick up people are painted the butt.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_02]: We've got a good culture
- 45:00[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I ain't touching Tyreq, I'm not touching, you know, a lot of these kind of nuisance guys.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_02]: You can handle it once they've like Jack Jones is a clear example.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_02]: Dude was a pain and put all through college.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_02]: He was a pain and put for the first several years in the NFL, but then he goes to Las Vegas of all places to clean up his act.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_02]: Then he goes to Miami.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_02]: The next year, cleans up his act had no issues two plus years.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_02]: He's still that dog DB that you love, but he proved he's passed that.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_02]: Tyre Kiel just got, you know, found liable for two more domestic battery chart.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_02]: And like hell no, get that there.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_02]: No, I just just certain ones,
- 45:39[SPEAKER_02]: I just stay away from.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_02]: And we talk about the evolution of Shadyhan and changing his views, Ruben Foster changed the way this team acquires talent.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_02]: They don't want to mess with that stuff.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_02]: They go after guys that love football, not guys that love hurting women and children.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_02]: That is the Rams, that is the Chiefs, that is lots of other teams, where they just don't care what you do off the field.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_02]: It is not important to us.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_02]: Seattle CRC literally acquiring players that kidnapped people like allegedly.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_02]: This ain't that team.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_02]: They want to focus on football and right here right here.
- 46:14[SPEAKER_02]: What's up, man?
- 46:15[SPEAKER_02]: How much would it cost to trade for DK and BTJ both?
- 46:19[SPEAKER_02]: You could not trade for DK, even if you offered a first rounder.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_02]: They're not trading them away.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_02]: Pitman's hurt.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_02]: They need white.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_02]: Like the Steelers are trying to trade for white receivers just like the 49ers are.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_02]: Now, you look at Jacksonville.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_02]: They're four and one.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_02]: They have a bigger lead, actually, the same lead, the 49ers have in their division.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_02]: And I think Brian Thompson Jr. played like 45 snaps last week.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_02]: I know he's not getting the targets, but I don't see them even answering the call.
- 46:52[SPEAKER_02]: We are not selling.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I would love both those players here.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_02]: The chat for it doesn't make sense for Jax.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't make sense for the Steelers.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_02]: You'd offer a second round pick for them, and I just, you literally had the Owen for Texans trading, second round picks for wide receivers.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_02]: Do you see a world where the Jax or the Steelers right now are trading away at starters?
- 47:20[SPEAKER_01]: No, I don't think so.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think that either one of those teams are going to trade away a start.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_01]: I think that it's really the old and five teams now and then we're going to see what happens over the next two weeks that kind of opens things up.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_01]: You know, and that's why we talked about the commanders earlier, you know, maybe if they lose a couple more games and all the sudden.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_01]: then Terry McLaren would become available, but I don't think you can see Brian Thomas Jr.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think he's going to be available.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_01]: So a young guy in a rookie contract super affordable, why move on from him and then also DK Meckaf.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_01]: I don't see it.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_01]: I know couching in like him in the draft process, but Aaron Rogers needs to DK Meckaf.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_01]: They need help at wide receiver.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_01]: So no, I mean, they pair DK with Aaron Rogers going to look this thing play out.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_01]: You know, the whole, you know, Big Pop is right.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_01]: He's a little bit of an interesting guy in the locker room.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_01]: He's a diva.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_01]: That's what you expect from a lot of the wide receivers in the league.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_01]: But I think the 49ers, you know, culture is good.
- 48:12[SPEAKER_01]: And I just, I don't, I'm with you, John.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_01]: I don't see a scenario in which either one of those teams trade off one of those players.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_01]: To me, those would be two teams that are looking to acquire talent, not send talent away.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and so the question becomes this for Bucco sports.
- 48:27[SPEAKER_02]: Who are the tanking teams that are trading?
- 48:30[SPEAKER_02]: They don't exist yet.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_02]: None of them are.
- 48:33[SPEAKER_02]: You talk about Miami.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_02]: They tank in the offseason.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_02]: Are there pieces there you want?
- 48:37[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe you can figure that out.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_02]: Tennessee Titans.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_02]: That is the next team.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_02]: The chargers.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_02]: That is the next team.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_02]: So you want to root against Tennessee and against the chargers.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_02]: I think most of the answers to these questions on the defensive line,
- 48:51[SPEAKER_02]: The chargers have the answers in Kaleel Mac.
- 48:56[SPEAKER_02]: To polio, I think his name is always mispronounce it, Calvin Thomas, it like, they have some guys that would work.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_02]: Now, in the NFC Washington is kind of what you're looking at, and that's it.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if there's another team because the NFC South has a lot of bad teams like the books, whatever, they are one game out of first, they're one and four.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_02]: The books are one game out of first place.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_02]: Like that is just a putrid division.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_02]: So the NFC East and the NFC South, you're kind of like, too, they sell in one game out of first place and you're one and four, one game.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_02]: So,
- 49:33[SPEAKER_02]: There's not a lot there yet.
- 49:35[SPEAKER_02]: I hope that chains and man, yeah, like, you know, more stuff's coming out of the jail in her.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_02]: It's his blood clots in his leg.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_02]: That's a big deal.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_02]: I really hope he's okay.
- 49:43[SPEAKER_02]: I think jail in her is a great dude.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_02]: I think he's a great dude.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_02]: Great human.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_02]: I don't like watching him succeed playing football at all because I hate the Eagles so much.
- 49:51[SPEAKER_02]: But like, dude, hope he's okay.
- 49:54[SPEAKER_02]: we'll see kind of what happens like that could be a long-term issue and that offense is horrible to start with.
- 50:02[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, I don't know, maybe the Eagles turned into that.
- 50:04[SPEAKER_02]: They're already kind of selling off a couple pieces.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know me and what to see what happens there, but I really hope he's all right and they get that figured out And I would I'd be remiss if we walked away from this show and you still had more notes to share because I'm over here just learning and soaking up like a sponge Is there anything that we miss that you wanted to get to we haven't yet?
- 50:25[SPEAKER_01]: I would say some of the keys in this game real quick is got to be the commanders being so bad on third down.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_01]: This is a situation the same as Seattle.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_01]: They're 31.1% of the time they convert on third down.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_01]: 49ers have to make them go the length of the field.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_01]: They've got to make them earn on third down and get
- 50:43[SPEAKER_01]: You know, make them run the ball with Bill McCroskey more merit and make him do all the things that he needs to do on the ground, um, they need to make them earn it on every single play.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_01]: So I think the third down effectiveness of the commanders is going to be huge in this game.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_01]: 49ers have been doing pretty good on third down lately.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_01]: They have a good against Seattle.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_01]: Here's another opportunity and then it's capitalized in the red zone when you get there, you know, in the 49ers of the best in the league to do it I think if they if they play this the way that they're supposed to and they capitalize on touchdowns I mean the the commanders can't match them.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_01]: They are a 50% red zone offense in the in this league this year It's just you you play it your percentage let them play it theirs and you're just gonna pull away in the and so There's a lot of matchups in this game.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_01]: I think favor the 49ers as long as they can slow down
- 51:27[SPEAKER_01]: The Washington Commanders running a keep jaded Daniels in the pocket.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_01]: I think that they're going to be very successful in this game and I think they're going to They're going to end up pulling this one out and probably in big fashion on the 49 George Kittle Fred Warner.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_01]: These guys.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_01]: They love an audience and the prime time audience is going to be there for them.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_01]: This is going to be a big game and you know, I think they're going to go out there and show them, but I think that those are going to be some key factors red zone and third down.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I love it whenever I have something in my notes and the aunt kind of seconds it it's just like I'm going to check mark and give myself a gold star you got to make the run in back speech you Austin Eccler He's awesome, but like let's be honest and then cross you merit He's awesome, but like is that the game changer you you you contain jailed Daniels and you make the run game beat you that's what you got to do and then I'll say this you know offensively
- 52:22[SPEAKER_02]: You know, you get into Dorothea Jones their defense accordion.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_02]: He's a Bryan Flora's guy.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_02]: The commanders have the second highest blitz rate in the NFL.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_02]: Now what was funny is the commanders have 80 blitzes on the year, five or more sending after the quarterback, 49ers have 44.
- 52:38[SPEAKER_02]: So literally half, Sacks, commanders have 9 49ers have 11.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_02]: You're doing more with less.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_02]: And so now the second day isn't as vulnerable.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_02]: This is the explosives talking about limiting explosives from a 49ers defense standpoint.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_02]: Commander's defense does not do that.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_02]: By said earlier, this is a fairly poorly coached team.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_02]: The commanders.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_02]: They got to buy wheat next week.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_02]: So there's seeing this as, hey,
- 53:04[SPEAKER_02]: win this game.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_02]: Our coaches keep their job into the by week.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_02]: Then we can maybe get on a roll.
- 53:10[SPEAKER_02]: There's blood in the water and filly like all that kind of stuff.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe there's a chance.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_02]: So like there, you know, if you're looking at this from a commander's show, I don't even know if they have podcasts there.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, but like let's assume they do.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_02]: Like, good Lord, they're like, dude, this is the chance.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_02]: You shock the 49ers, then you're two, three and one.
- 53:30[SPEAKER_02]: And man, you're right back in this after the by week.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_02]: Like, that's the way they see it.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_02]: It's money and I football.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_02]: This is going to be awesome.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_02]: It shots him by me and Ricky says, well, that'll feel like a jerk.
- 53:41[SPEAKER_02]: I did know he's deal with clots.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_02]: No matter how much of a jerk you feel like you are never as low as an Eagles fan.
- 53:46[SPEAKER_02]: Just understand the brahmeter has been set.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_02]: It is below the ground, below where the teenage mutantage turtles live, and then below that.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_02]: That is the Eagles fan bar.
- 53:56[SPEAKER_02]: You are safe, Rick.
- 53:58[SPEAKER_02]: You are safe.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_02]: Niners, yeah, big time different.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_02]: So, love you, Rick.
- 54:02[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_02]: That's going to do it for us today.
- 54:04[SPEAKER_02]: And final thoughts.
- 54:06[SPEAKER_02]: How you feeling about the game?
- 54:08[SPEAKER_02]: And like are you feeling pretty optimistic?
- 54:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm feeling very optimistic.
- 54:14[SPEAKER_01]: The number right now seven and a half, four nerves are going to cover.
- 54:16[SPEAKER_01]: I think they're going to
- 54:19[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, I mean, that's a little bit of a look ahead, but I mean, you just look at this is this is a mismatch in the 49ers favor and the 49ers need to go out there and make it such.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they need to, they need to blow them up and I think they need to, you know, continue to put everyone on notice that they're the team to beat and that you know, like you said, a couple more wins get them into the by week and then they come out a little bit more healthier and a little bit more dangerous.
- 54:39[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I think they're going to be just finding this week.
- 54:41[SPEAKER_01]: I'm looking forward to a fun game.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_01]: We had a with a nail bider last week.
- 54:45[SPEAKER_01]: I expect a little bit more cushion this week.
- 54:48[SPEAKER_02]: woke up feeling dangerous woke up.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_02]: I woke up feeling cheesy's coach.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_02]: That's what it's about man.
- 54:54[SPEAKER_02]: I love it.
- 54:55[SPEAKER_02]: And you are the freaky band everybody no matter what you do as soon as you end this show.
- 54:59[SPEAKER_02]: Go check out the 49ers cut back wherever you watch and or listen.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_02]: That is your homework.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_02]: We'll be back with you guys next Thursday.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_02]: You are the best of the best and until next time.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_02]: Stay strong, faithful.
