• 2:12
Speaker 2: You want to write that We've been a little while, but it's sure fun.
• 2:16
Speaker 4: We are working on a new thing.
• 2:19
Speaker 4: We're going to do a new song.
• 2:26
Speaker 4: We're going to do a new song, yeah.
• 2:35
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, thank you performing the scotchy bourbon boys theme song of kenny has done such a great job for us.
• 3:14
Speaker 1: And as we go forward, we keep going forward to get bigger and bigger and we are um every year.
• 3:20
Speaker 1: We keep rolling forward.
• 3:22
Speaker 1: This year the stats on everything that we did was off the charts.
• 3:27
  Speaker 1: I everything that I got.
• 3:28
Speaker 1: I mean we're talking about 40 million viewers.
• 3:31
Speaker 1: Uh, between shorts and long, long stuff on youtube you're talking about, we are getting between 10 and 20 000 each podcast on facebook and then we're.
• 3:43
Speaker 1: We're pretty much on the audio, have hit a plateau, but we had 13 000 downloads for the, so that's more than a thousand a month and that's about where we were last year.
• 3:56
Speaker 1: But what happens is so many people are watching, you know transferring over a lot of people that that you don't need to listen to it again.
• 4:04
Speaker 1: Yeah, right, right, right.
• 4:05
Speaker 1: So that's what's been happening, but fantastic, um, it's been such a great year.
• 4:09
Speaker 1: Uh, welcome everybody to the bourbon of the year podcast for our fifth.
• 4:15
Speaker 1: This is our fifth bourbon of the year and I promise you this year that this is real bourbon.
• 4:21
Speaker 2: Uh, there's going to be no rise.
• 4:28
Speaker 1: Tiny's not pulling out the hammer, telling everybody that he can rate it a little bit higher or he can do what he wants to do or whatever.
• 4:31
Speaker 1: This is basically we've got the five top bourbons.
• 4:35
  Speaker 1: I mean it's so funny.
• 4:36
Speaker 1: We did the 1030 podcast and now we're doing pretty much the 3 o'clock podcast.
• 4:41
Speaker 1: It's a little bit off as far as whatever, but we've been hanging in there.
• 4:44
Speaker 1: We've got five bourbons in front of us that we're going to go over, but those five bourbons, seriously.
• 4:52
Speaker 1: Somebody said the honor light.
• 4:56
Speaker 1: Yeah, there you go, and those five bourbons, seriously, are what we've come up with.
• 5:04
Speaker 1: Now, the way it is, it's what we read.
• 5:06
Speaker 1: The bourbon of the year is based off what we're able to obtain.
• 5:09
Speaker 1: It's funny because whiskey is here, he has.
• 5:12
Speaker 1: He missed the first part of the first podcast in the morning because of clients.
• 5:16
Speaker 1: It's a Friday and we understand Friday during the day and the day off, but he missed whatever.
• 5:21
Speaker 1: So so then came, got with us, did lunch with us, had, you know, had whatever relaxed, got down here, got ready and all of a sudden, boom, more clients.
• 5:30
Speaker 1: So roxy, graciously, because roxy and walker did the blind.
• 5:35
Speaker 1: She's all mixed up over there so she can't look at the colors on their bottoms.
• 5:39
Speaker 1: But she's gonna fill in and you know what I agree, I feel, even though I think I'm in for it on this podcast.
• 5:46
Speaker 1: I deserve, I deserve what's happening, but it's not going to be like what I would have gotten out of out of car we something happens and we do have a need.
• 5:57
Speaker 5: A tiebreaker whiskey has already went through his five and lined them up.
• 6:02
Speaker 1: The way that he wants to write them One to five, left to right.
• 6:09
Speaker 3: I'm the only one that did right to left, that's just a nosing order.
• 6:13
Speaker 4: Yeah, that's all right, so left to right is the way we do it.
• 6:15
Speaker 2: I'll put them left to right.
• 6:17
Speaker 1: So we're the Scotchy Bourbon Boys and we're in studio.
• 6:20
Speaker 1: I mean, normally we don't have this Once a year we have this.
• 6:31
Speaker 1: And this is a special time because tonight's our Christmas party at the Gervasi Vineyards.
• 6:33
Speaker 1: Over there at the Stillhouse at Gervasi, we actually have the master distiller, shea Pridemore, coming to the party and I'm pretty sure he's going to show us around the distillery Something special for everybody.
• 6:40
Speaker 1: And this is just a spectacular day.
• 6:43
Speaker 1: It's hard, I mean, honestly, it is a what would you say, a haul.
• 6:48
Speaker 1: I mean, we've already done last night, me and Nash did the five, the bookers five bookers and whatever.
• 6:56
Speaker 1: And then we got yeah, I mean, that was my palate at that point, after being at Iron Roots and all day that was like it was, like it's not Iron Root, no River Root.
• 7:06
Speaker 1: Iron Root is in Texas.
• 7:09
  Speaker 1: It's another.
• 7:10
  Speaker 1: Are you really?
• 7:13
Speaker 1: You said, iron Root?
• 7:16
Speaker 1: We've done this for 40 years.
• 7:19
  Speaker 1: Are you surprised?
• 7:21
Speaker 4: no, I'm just correcting you.
• 7:23
Speaker 5: Oh, yes, like always yes.
• 7:25
  Speaker 1: We're not surprised.
• 7:26
Speaker 1: So let's make sure that I didn't just trash off the podcast.
• 7:30
  Speaker 1: I actually did.
• 7:31
Speaker 1: Let's put the microphone back in, let's see.
• 7:35
Speaker 1: Yep, I pulled the microphone.
• 7:37
  Speaker 1: That was awesome.
• 7:37
Speaker 1: But anyways, river Root up in Cleveland with Matt Lyson from Cleveland on the Rocks.
• 7:43
Speaker 1: He took us there.
• 7:44
Speaker 1: We got to meet Tom and just go through some barrels it was fantastic, did some, some thieving but but Nash had never been at Cleveland on the Rocks bar up there and so he got to experience Matt's podcast set up really nice.
• 7:58
Speaker 1: And we had a fun time so, but then today we start off at 1030.
• 8:02
Speaker 1: We do all of.
• 8:04
Speaker 1: We had to pick from what 10, 11 different bourbons and narrow it down to these five and honestly, then, the lunch really kind of gave me my second win.
• 8:15
Speaker 1: There's no doubt about it.
• 8:16
Speaker 3: Had a little bit of food, but this is now five more, but then, once this is over, At lunch you had food, but we also had Weller 12.
• 8:24
  Speaker 3: What, what?
• 8:27
  Speaker 3: So I'm not.
• 8:30
Speaker 3: You know, hey, we had food, but we kept drinking Weller 12 along the way.
• 8:36
Speaker 3: So you know, hey, it's all good.
• 8:38
  Speaker 5: Yeah.
• 8:39
Speaker 3: All good, and let me just say that Weller 12 was good.
• 8:42
  Speaker 4: Was it good?
• 8:42
Speaker 1: Silver Bullet says cheers on YouTube.
• 8:45
Speaker 1: We're having some good YouTube response today.
• 8:49
  Speaker 5: I'm excited.
• 8:50
Speaker 5: Russell E Lampkin says that EH Taylor sweater is glorious, glorious.
• 8:57
  Speaker 1: There you go.
• 8:57
Speaker 1: So anyways, but these five, we've been blinded again, like last night, so this is going to come up, and so the rules are today.
• 9:06
Speaker 1: Before I get into the promotion stuff, the rules are.
• 9:10
Speaker 1: There's five points, so you're going to we're going to put them in order of one to five, five points being the most, one point being the best.
• 9:19
Speaker 1: The bourbon with the least amount of points wins the contest, so number one.
• 9:27
Speaker 4: Wait, you just didn't make any sense If you put it number one you get one point.
• 9:33
Speaker 1: No one is one point.
• 9:34
  Speaker 1: Yes, we're going.
• 9:35
  Speaker 1: That's too confusing.
• 9:37
Speaker 1: Five points for a one and one.
• 9:39
Speaker 1: It's just one, two, three, four, five.
• 9:41
Speaker 1: One gets the one, two gets two and you're going for the least amount of points.
• 9:46
  Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
• 9:49
Speaker 2: It is ranked left to right.
• 9:50
Speaker 1: Ranked left to right.
• 9:51
Speaker 1: We'll rank them left to right, with the bourbon with the least amount when?
• 9:56
Speaker 2: we look when we go.
• 9:57
Speaker 1: I'll do it, You'll find your red or you'll find your gold or you'll find whatever when you put them in order.
• 10:03
Speaker 1: And then everybody will write down.
• 10:06
Speaker 1: Now, Roxy or Walker, you're going to have to keep track for us on this.
• 10:10
Speaker 3: Walker's got it, he's got it All right, all right, okay, so the best outcome score could be that, a, that, a, that a glass got a four Right.
• 10:20
Speaker 3: That would be the ultimate winner, right, right.
• 10:21
Speaker 1: That would be a unanimous, unanimous consensus that that was the bourbon of the year yeah All right, and then um, but now we're wwwscotchybourbonboyscom for all things scotchy bourbon boys, our merchandise, our Glen Karens and also our barrel picks.
• 10:40
Speaker 1: If you're interested in any of that, contact me on Facebook.

• 10:47
Speaker 1: Last night on the bookers podcast, which is great, I remember I will be looking at that today.
• 10:53
Speaker 5: That would be David Nash Crosby.
• 10:57
Speaker 5: No, david Nash, stills, stills, no, just David Nash.
• 11:01
Speaker 5: Sorry and of no relation to me, just a Nash.
• 11:05
Speaker 1: Okay, all right, right, okay, so check.
• 11:08
Speaker 1: No, we're not Remember, right.

• 11:37
Speaker 1: So I got that on the way.
• 11:38
Speaker 1: I'm getting pretty good at it after what?
• 11:40
  Speaker 1: Four years?
• 11:41
Speaker 1: So I got the like, listen, comment, subscribe all in one without a hesitation.
• 11:46
Speaker 1: One more thing I have the right amount of alcohol in me right now.
• 11:47
Speaker 1: What's the one more thing?
• 11:48
Speaker 1: I have the right amount of alcohol in me right now.
• 11:50
Speaker 5: What's the one more thing Give us the five bottles that we are about to taste.
• 11:54
  Speaker 1: I think that's a CT super dash.
• 11:58
Speaker 1: Why don't CT take that three and then you take the first three.
• 12:01
Speaker 3: I'll take the first three next to me or.
• 12:04
Speaker 1: I'll take the first two and you take the last three.
• 12:06
Speaker 3: How about that Sounds?
• 12:07
  Speaker 2: good.
• 12:07
  Speaker 3: So first two.
• 12:08
Speaker 3: Closest to me again is the Larceny Barrel Proof C924.
• 12:13
Speaker 3: It's the third release this year, kind of ironic or not ironic, but kind of.
• 12:19
Speaker 3: You know the battle between Elijah Craig Barrel Proofs and Larceny Barrel Proofs.
• 12:24
Speaker 3: Last year C923 was my favorite bottle, even though it didn't win our top bottle.
• 12:29
Speaker 3: It was my favorite.
• 12:30
Speaker 3: But this year the Larceny came in and just was a powerhouse.
• 12:35
  Speaker 3: It's a good, great bottle.
• 12:37
Speaker 3: So that is going to be our first on closest to me.
• 12:40
Speaker 3: Then the old Fitzgerald's 13-year, which is the BBS very, very special.
• 12:47
  Speaker 3: It's a 25-year distillate that's been sitting in a 25 year distillate.
• 12:51
Speaker 3: That's been sitting in a tank for 10 years and 12 years, 12 years and then initially 13 years of age, then put in a tank for 12 years and then they just released it this year and definitely a very unique old Fitzgerald.
• 13:10
Speaker 3: I mean this year I think Old Fitz released two others a 10 and a a nine an eight year nine, eight years, yeah, eight year and a 10 year.
• 13:22
Speaker 3: And then this was the 13th Walker.
• 13:24
Speaker 3: You're probably right right there.
• 13:25
Speaker 3: So that is our first two on this side of the table.
• 13:29
  Speaker 3: Don't, don't, don't.
• 13:30
  Speaker 3: That's the microphone.
• 13:39
Speaker 5: The third, that is our first two on this side of the table.
• 13:40
  Speaker 5: All right, don't, don't, don't, that's the microphone.
• 13:41
Speaker 5: The third one is a, uh, four roses, four roses, small batch, barrel strength, limited edition, which is a product that is yearly done by bren elliott, the master distiller of four roses himself, which he does a special blend of bourbons every year, and this is a product that he brings out, and and also we just recently, in the last couple weeks we've done a podcast with Brent Elliott from the Four Roses Lab.
• 14:02
Speaker 1: There we talked about this, but this was a special bottle to us and, as you can see, it is definitely not.
• 14:09
Speaker 1: It might not make it to 2025.
• 14:11
  Speaker 1: Who?
• 14:12
Speaker 1: Knows, but it's just yeah, that is some good bourbon, but we got it all poured up.
• 14:17
Speaker 5: So then, next, and the next one is a Michter's 10-year-old bourbon, put out by our friends Dan McKee and Andrew Wilson from Michter's Distillery, which is a very special bottle distillery, which is a very special bottle.
• 14:33
Speaker 5: This bottle just happens to be one that was signed by Dan and Andrea, that Jeff picked up at the Kentucky Bourbon Festival this year, which just happens to be a very, very great bourbon selection that they put together this year, and that's why it's made it into the final five.
• 14:50
Speaker 5: And last but not least, whiskeys put in.
• 14:55
Speaker 1: I mean, none of us have tasted that yet.
• 14:58
  Speaker 5: Not today.
• 14:59
Speaker 5: I have, but I hadn't tasted it today, but I opened up a bottle just earlier, a couple months ago, 2014 edition, but anyway.
• 15:10
  Speaker 1: So you didn't that's 2014 edition, I mean 24 edition, but anyway.
• 15:11
  Speaker 1: So you didn't that's 2014 edition, I mean 24 edition.
• 15:14
Speaker 1: What just happened, yeah?
• 15:17
  Speaker 5: what just happened.
• 15:18
Speaker 5: Quit messing with me.
• 15:19
Speaker 5: This is a Michter's Toasted Barrel Bourbon which is a limited edition put out by Michter's and they do three toasted barrel additions.
• 15:33
Speaker 5: They do the bourbon, the whiskey, sour mash whiskey and the rye, which is one of Jeff's favorites, but this is one that Whiskey brought in and he entered this into the top five contenders.
• 15:51
Speaker 1: Yeah, but, like I said, this is kind of like a cool blight Because we know we just kind of picked and tasted through them in the earlier podcast, but now we have one in there that me and CT haven't tasted but it's new to us.
• 16:05
Speaker 1: So the taste palette going through this is going to.
• 16:09
Speaker 3: You know it's like it might mess with you a little bit.
• 16:11
Speaker 3: What would you say?
• 16:12
  Speaker 3: A wild card?
• 16:13
  Speaker 4: Yeah.
• 16:13
Speaker 1: Plus, we got lunch and you can't.
• 16:16
Speaker 3: You can't discard the fact that food does change your palate.
• 16:20
  Speaker 1: I can't, I can't uneat those jalapenos.
• 16:22
Speaker 3: No, yeah, I mean anything you ate is going to affect it a little bit, but I, I mean, I'm pretty confident that whatever we pick up here is going to be a good bottle of beer.
• 16:32
Speaker 3: The other thing again for people watching is these are all obtainable bottles throughout the country.
• 16:36
Speaker 3: Not easily, but they're obtainable.
• 16:40
  Speaker 1: They're obtainable.
• 16:41
Speaker 3: Like I said, you can sell a kidney, you can, you know.
• 16:46
Speaker 5: You can go camp out in a parking lot in the freezing cold.
• 16:49
Speaker 3: You can do whatever it's obtainable, but it's a beautiful but it's not easily yeah well it's not going to be like going in and walking in and buying heaven hill bottles we know their kidney, we only need one yeah, yeah, for right now, um, but anyway by the end of this, by the end of this podcast.
• 17:07
Speaker 3: We might need some extra ones, but anyway, yeah, uh, but the great thing is is these are bottles that are out there.
• 17:13
Speaker 1: They're not single barrels, they're not, uh, somebody's barrel group that you could only get 180 of them through this guy or girl's group it is I think brett was talking 16 000.
• 18:11
Speaker 1: You did this year and it still was hard as hell to get yeah, and still people camped out.
• 18:16
Speaker 3: I mean we camped out.
• 18:17
Speaker 3: I mean we camped out, yeah, oh yeah.
• 18:18
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, we did during.
• 18:20
Speaker 1: That's how we got this during Kentucky Bourbon.
• 18:23
  Speaker 3: Festival.
• 18:23
Speaker 3: But this is why you know these bottles and not everybody is going to do this.
• 18:26
Speaker 3: So you know, the thing is is like we talked about in the first episode the bottles like the Larrikin, which are good bottles that have a great flavor, that you don't have to camp out for that are accessible.
• 18:38
Speaker 5: All you have to do is just go ahead and go get them Go to the distillery and get them.
• 18:43
Speaker 3: Then there's the Cellar Age, which obviously is harder to get.
• 18:47
Speaker 1: It's more common to these Not, if you know, walker.
• 18:49
  Speaker 2: Well, yeah.
• 18:51
Speaker 3: But the thing is, is these kind of give you that unicorn bottle, so to speak, that you go after and you look for, and maybe it's only one of these that you get?
• 19:01
Speaker 3: But no matter which one of these you get, you're going to be totally happy.
• 19:04
Speaker 3: It's just which one is going to be our bourbon of the year.
• 19:08
Speaker 5: Or it might be two.
• 19:09
Speaker 5: Like I say, people have lotteries, liquor stores have lotteries, states have lotteries.
• 19:15
Speaker 5: You know, it just might be that you get lucky and you get in that lottery and you win this bottle, and that makes it that much more special, and especially when you drink them, you know so here we go.
• 19:31
Speaker 1: Right, here we go.
• 19:31
Speaker 1: Like I said, you rank them left to right, one through five of what you do.
• 19:36
Speaker 1: So feel free to discuss noses or whatever.
• 19:39
Speaker 5: I don't think we should discuss that, just drink it Just drink, line them up and let's set them up and go.
• 19:47
Speaker 3: That'll sway your decision.
• 19:53
Speaker 5: I've already mixed my order up anyway.
• 20:01
Speaker 3: Mine's not behaved right off the rip.
• 20:03
Speaker 3: Wow, it's amazing how you can, just like some of them, just punch you in the face, like you know there's one here that, like we already discussed, it's just a ringer.
• 20:19
Speaker 1: You're going to put that number one.
• 20:20
Speaker 1: You're knowing what that is.
• 20:21
Speaker 4: I feel like I already put that nose number one, but we'll see what happens the rest of the way down.
• 20:27
  Speaker 3: And that's a great thing.
• 20:28
Speaker 3: I haven't Roxy on his Roxy's, not the same.
• 20:31
Speaker 4: I didn't taste any of that.
• 20:32
Speaker 1: Yeah, she's not the palate, and neither would would whiskey a bet, so it's good that she's here.
• 20:38
Speaker 4: It would be nice to have a cracker, but walker's right there walker, that was a terrible joke oh, I just got that.
• 20:56
Speaker 2: It is amazing how the nose and palate.
• 21:00
Speaker 3: You're the one that said it so far.
• 21:03
Speaker 3: The first two, I can absolutely 100%.
• 21:05
Speaker 4: Oh, you can't eat those.
• 21:06
Speaker 4: Those are everything, garlic yeah.
• 21:10
  Speaker 3: I ate those.
• 21:11
Speaker 3: Get the one with the prep stuff, the first two.
• 21:13
Speaker 1: I drank, though I can totally Look.
• 21:15
Speaker 1: He ran upstairs, brought something down and we're being picky.
• 21:21
Speaker 4: You could not eat those, those, everything.
• 21:25
Speaker 3: They're delicious, but oh, my God, that is so good, they are everything.
• 21:34
Speaker 2: What do you think?
• 21:35
Speaker 2: I don't know if I would be up.
• 21:38
  Speaker 1: There some pretzels?
• 21:39
  Speaker 1: Yeah, but they're.
• 21:40
Speaker 1: Yeah, just set it up there.
• 21:41
Speaker 3: Cardettos they're all spiced.
• 21:42
Speaker 3: I know what that one is.
• 21:43
Speaker 3: So I feel pretty good on the first three that I know what they are.
• 21:47
Speaker 4: I'm not eating the pretzels.
• 21:48
Speaker 3: But their flavors are very different.
• 21:53
Speaker 1: See, the Michter's is the one that's throwing me.
• 21:55
Speaker 1: See, the Mictors is the one that's throwing me.
• 22:12
Speaker 2: It's going to be tough.
• 22:18
Speaker 5: They're all freaking pretty good.
• 22:19
  Speaker 5: I don't know what's going on.
• 22:21
Speaker 1: I'm on my one and two already.
• 22:22
Speaker 1: My one and two are so close, they're close.
• 22:28
  Speaker 5: Oh, wow.
• 22:33
  Speaker 2: Oh man.
• 22:35
Speaker 3: If one's as good as two and three, I'm going to have a hard time with this first three.
• 22:38
Speaker 3: Four and five for me are a little different.
• 22:40
Speaker 5: Two and three so far, oh no.
• 22:56
Speaker 1: The only one I know for sure is the one I knew.
• 22:58
Speaker 1: I knew for sure.
• 23:00
  Speaker 3: Larceny.
• 23:01
Speaker 1: Larceny is the easiest one for me.
• 23:03
Speaker 1: No, that's not even close to as easy.
• 23:15
Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm dead set on that one.
• 23:17
Speaker 1: That Maltfield, though blind, is fucking phenomenal great what did it change these two right here?
• 23:35
Speaker 3: one, two and three.
• 23:35
Speaker 3: One, two and three for me.
• 23:37
Speaker 3: This is the two and three Mm-hmm.
• 23:38
Speaker 3: One, two and three for me.
• 23:39
Speaker 3: This is the problem is one, two and three could vary.
• 23:42
Speaker 3: I feel like you guys probably will have similar one, two and three and it'll be like who's got them in what order?
• 23:47
Speaker 1: You know you do realize it's going to be just an F-best, because what you think it's going to be it's not what it's going to be.
• 23:59
  Speaker 3: I don't know.
• 23:59
Speaker 3: I feel like this is going to be three.
• 24:01
Speaker 3: That I know, and I think the ends are going to be out.
• 24:08
Speaker 1: I'm going to clear my palette.
• 24:09
Speaker 1: Can I have a brad salt?
• 24:10
Speaker 1: It almost dropped right in.
• 24:27
  Speaker 3: Weird.
• 24:28
Speaker 3: Hmm, that's got the flavor on it.
• 24:39
Speaker 4: Yeah, they shouldn't do that.
• 24:42
Speaker 5: There we go One, two, three, four.
• 24:53
Speaker 1: I mean, you can't everybody, you can't, we're doing this and you can't lose every single one of these when you're tasting through them all.
• 25:01
Speaker 1: There's not one here where I'd be like I don't like that.
• 25:05
Speaker 1: No, every one of these is totally good.
• 25:07
  Speaker 1: I'm set, I have, I have successful.
• 25:15
Speaker 4: Decide between one, two and three.
• 25:16
Speaker 3: I have the same way.
• 25:17
Speaker 3: I got one, two, three sitting here.
• 25:19
Speaker 3: I'm like damn, you jump out of the glass and tell me I got one and it's like two and three.
• 25:25
Speaker 3: Oh my God, they're so close, I don't know which to I feel like one and two are calling me more.
• 25:31
Speaker 3: I don't think three's nose is helping me as much.
• 25:40
Speaker 1: But I'm going to try them again for the client.
• 25:42
  Speaker 1: I feel like.
• 25:42
  Speaker 2: I'm going back.
• 25:43
Speaker 1: There's not enough, there was enough.
• 25:46
Speaker 2: Uh-oh, I feel like my three is the.
• 25:49
Speaker 3: I feel like my three is you.
• 25:52
Speaker 1: If this is anything, I know this.
• 25:53
Speaker 1: I'm not this good.
• 25:54
  Speaker 1: I know what I like.
• 25:55
  Speaker 1: I know what I like.
• 25:56
Speaker 1: I know I'm not this good.
• 25:58
  Speaker 1: I know what I like.
• 25:59
  Speaker 1: I know what I like.
• 26:00
Speaker 1: I know what I want to like.
• 26:01
Speaker 1: I know what I think it is, but you know what it's not going to be that.
• 26:08
Speaker 4: Okay, I'm going to put them back.
• 26:09
Speaker 4: Okay, this is it.
• 26:12
Speaker 5: Uh-oh, back to right.
• 26:20
Speaker 3: I'm going with this.

Speaker 3: You can go first.
• 28:22
Speaker 1: Ross, are you sure my two is red.
• 28:26
Speaker 1: It's going to be blue.

Speaker 4: That would be blue.
• 28:57
Speaker 1: Yeah, blue, you're green.
• 28:58
  Speaker 5: I'm green, I'm green, I'm green.
• 29:04
Speaker 4: It doesn't matter, he's going to add up the score.
• 29:13
  Speaker 5: Oh, that's right.
• 29:16
  Speaker 2: The score.
• 29:17
Speaker 3: She did blue, yeah, so we've got to add up the score.
• 29:20
Speaker 3: Yeah, we've got to get the right colors first, so they're not in the skew.
• 29:28
Speaker 4: Ah there's probably two blues and two, two greens.
• 29:29
Speaker 4: They're going to be really close name them off worst to best.
• 29:34
Speaker 3: Color wise, what has the most?
• 29:38
Speaker 2: give them a chance to have them up.
• 29:40
Speaker 1: I totally screwed you.
• 29:41
Speaker 1: Your number one was my number five yep, you totally did you know what green is?
• 29:46
Speaker 1: What was your number one?
• 29:46
Speaker 5: was my number five Yep, you totally that's true, and that you know what green is.
• 29:48

• 29:50
Speaker 3: Fitzgerald no, yours was gold.
• 29:53
Speaker 3: Your number five was gold.
• 29:55
Speaker 3: No, my number five is green.
• 29:57
Speaker 3: You sure that looks like my gold?
• 29:59
Speaker 4: No, gold is the dark gold.
• 30:01
  Speaker 1: This is gold.
• 30:02
  Speaker 1: Gold is gold.
• 30:04
Speaker 1: That was my number three.
• 30:05
Speaker 1: Well, we'll see my number five was gold yeah.
• 30:13
Speaker 3: We had everything the same except the red.
• 30:15
Speaker 1: Well, it would be really cool if this number one has nothing to do, and they were stripped from the same exact place I had them.
• 30:21
Speaker 3: My number three yeah.
• 30:26
Speaker 1: My favorite thing would be if number one wasn't blue or green.
• 30:30
Speaker 1: Hey, wouldn't it be cool if number one wasn't our number.
• 30:36
Speaker 4: Our number was in China.
• 30:40
  Speaker 1: I'm shocked.
• 30:44
  Speaker 4: I'm shocked, I'm shocked, I'm shocked.
• 30:46
Speaker 4: I would have never guessed.
• 30:48
Speaker 1: This is so bad, you know what's already gotten, so I'm just doing that.
• 30:55
Speaker 5: Green is Ole Fitzgerald.
• 30:56
Speaker 5: Right no, Green is Ole Fitzgerald.
• 31:01
Speaker 1: No, I went to put that last.
• 31:02
  Speaker 1: I thought.
• 31:03
  Speaker 5: Ole.
• 31:03
  Speaker 1: Fitzgerald was.
• 31:06
Speaker 4: It is Ole Fitzgerald, pretty sure it is.
• 31:08
Speaker 5: That's why we picked number one.
• 31:09
Speaker 5: I knew it was Old Fitzgerald.
• 31:12
Speaker 5: I could taste that old.
• 31:13
Speaker 5: No way it is, she just told us.
• 31:16
Speaker 3: It's a mixture, it closes together.
• 31:21
  Speaker 5: Yellow.
• 31:21
Speaker 5: What do you mean yellow?
• 31:24
  Speaker 3: Yellow.
• 31:25
Speaker 3: All right, hold on, we got the official tabulator.
• 31:28
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you know it so I forgot that on purpose.
• 31:32
Speaker 1: I just put them in the flavor that I liked, I know.
• 31:36
Speaker 1: Wasn't trying to guess what they were.
• 31:38
Speaker 5: No, but I mean, I know.
• 31:40
Speaker 1: Now that we did that, I wasn't having any bias against you.
• 31:42
Speaker 5: Now that we did that.
• 31:45
Speaker 5: I tried to guess it and I did, but that's what I tasted that I like best.
• 31:53
Speaker 5: And then these two right here, that yellow and blue.
• 32:01
Speaker 3: Really, I think so.
• 32:03
Speaker 5: Which one is the Mictors Blue?
• 32:07
  Speaker 2: Yellow.
• 32:08
Speaker 3: I thought it was the blue.
• 32:09
Speaker 1: I swear to God blue is Larceny I thought Larceny was the.
• 32:16
Speaker 4: I thought Larceny was the gold.
• 32:17
  Speaker 4: Larceny is gold.
• 32:19
  Speaker 1: That's what I thought.
• 32:20
  Speaker 4: Blue.
• 32:22
Speaker 1: I can tell you, the cinnamon blind was there, but it wasn't nowhere near as strong as my preconceived notions when I knew I was drinking.
• 32:30
  Speaker 1: See.
• 32:31
Speaker 5: I thought the toasted barrel was red.
• 32:33
Speaker 5: I thought toasted was.
• 32:35
  Speaker 4: It's yellow, I think.
• 32:36
  Speaker 1: Yeah, yellow.
• 32:37
Speaker 1: So what are the scores there?
• 32:40
  Speaker 3: So what's five?
• 32:41
Speaker 3: What has the most?
• 32:42
Speaker 3: Fifth place is what color?
• 32:44
  Speaker 3: Gold.
• 32:45
Speaker 2: Gold and what is gold?
• 32:46
Speaker 2: Gold is which is going to be, Is larceny.
• 32:51
Speaker 1: Okay, so that came in.
• 32:52
Speaker 5: fifth Fifth place, y'all.
• 32:53
Speaker 5: Fifth place, all right, yep.
• 32:55
Speaker 5: So, Wait, that was Left and right.
• 32:58
Speaker 3: Todd's gold is yellow.
• 33:00
Speaker 3: Yellow also had 15.
• 33:03
Speaker 2: Yellow is, yellow is Mictors.
• 33:11
Speaker 4: Next Blue oh shit, I was wrong Red is Mictors.
• 33:16
Speaker 5: This is blue Jeff.
• 33:21
  Speaker 1: This is blue.
• 33:21
Speaker 1: You both had red.
• 33:26
  Speaker 4: Red is Mictors.
• 33:27
  Speaker 4: I was mistaken.
• 33:30
Speaker 3: Both of Nash and CT had green.
• 33:32
Speaker 3: Green is 10 points.
• 33:34
Speaker 4: Which is all this.
• 33:35
  Speaker 3: Which is Ah.
• 33:40
Speaker 5: We both had green, which is one point each.
• 33:43
Speaker 4: It is four roses.
• 33:45
  Speaker 4: What's our number?
• 33:46
  Speaker 5: It's 10 points.
• 33:46
Speaker 5: I put our number.
• 33:46
Speaker 5: Well, it's ten points.
• 33:48
Speaker 2: I put green at five.
• 33:50
Speaker 3: So blue comes in first with eight points.
• 33:54
  Speaker 2: Yep.
• 33:55
Speaker 5: And that's four roses.
• 33:57
  Speaker 4: Four roses.
• 33:59
Speaker 1: All right, four roses.
• 34:02
Speaker 1: Brent Elkin, the Scotchy Bourbon boys, bourbon of the year, now second place.
• 34:08
Speaker 1: So four roses Old fifth and second.
• 34:12
  Speaker 1: Victor's ten.
• 34:13
Speaker 1: The US posted and the Larceny.
• 34:17
Speaker 1: Now, just for the fun of it, let's look at what Carl put down and his is left to right.
• 34:24
Speaker 1: Yeah, so Carl had Number one is gold Old fifth.
• 34:25
Speaker 1: Carl put down All right and his is left to right.
• 34:27
Speaker 4: Yeah, so Carl had his Carl's number one is gold.
• 34:30
Speaker 4: Old fit, yeah, no, that's green.
• 34:32
  Speaker 5: Green.
• 34:34
Speaker 1: No, gold is larceny.
• 34:35
Speaker 1: Gold is larceny number one.
• 34:38
Speaker 4: His number two is red.
• 34:40
Speaker 1: His number two would be our second place.
• 34:43
Speaker 4: No, it would be Victor's.
• 34:44
Speaker 4: Victor's, yeah, his third place is green.
• 34:48
Speaker 4: His fourth place is blue.
• 34:54
Speaker 5: Which would be the more rosy.
• 34:58
Speaker 4: His last place was what he brought.
• 35:03
Speaker 5: So you put his glasses in front of his.
• 35:09
Speaker 3: He actually aligns more with my palette, picked the larson, he did which roxy picked second.
• 35:13
  Speaker 4: So I'm on.
• 35:15
Speaker 3: My second was gold, yes, which is larson, oh yeah, so I'm on with you and carl on this.
• 35:21
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, but but I'll have to tell you my third was gold there, so I was I.
• 35:25
Speaker 1: I just came in around like to tell you my third was gold there, so I was.
• 35:28
Speaker 4: I think it was around like four times Right.
• 35:29
Speaker 4: And my third was green, which was Old Fitz.
• 35:34
Speaker 4: So literally at one point I had Old Fitz number two.
• 35:36
Speaker 1: At the last second I switched, so it's amazing to me when that Old Fitz Now yeah, I know it, now I can really taste it, but I wasn't tasting it.
• 35:47
Speaker 3: It wasn't like it popped out.
• 35:48
Speaker 3: It wasn't like it popped out like it was just obvious yeah like when we drank the first 10 or 11, it was like different.
• 35:55
Speaker 3: It is interesting how the order of it and you're blind, but the order also matters.
• 36:01
  Speaker 5: Yes.
• 36:02
Speaker 3: Yeah, because you can't tell.
• 36:03
Speaker 5: And it's a little harder too when you're tasting one right after the other and you're trying to clear your palate.
• 36:09
Speaker 4: Yeah, well, my 123.
• 36:10
Speaker 4: A little bit starts trying to taste similar.
• 36:13
Speaker 4: And larceny were hard Right off the bat.
• 36:16
Speaker 4: I knew what the mixtures were.
• 36:18
Speaker 5: I knew what that larceny was.
• 36:20
Speaker 5: I got it off the nose.
• 36:21
  Speaker 5: It was still.
• 36:22
  Speaker 4: Yeah.
• 36:24
  Speaker 5: Yeah, but I like that, like I, that's a flavor yeah, it's a great bottle.
• 36:27
Speaker 5: I'm glad it was up there and I'm fond of it right off when I started tasting the others, and then when I because I tasted it victor's 10 second, and then I started tasting the others.
• 36:39
Speaker 2: My second was you know what the thing for me is?
• 36:44
  Speaker 2: This is red.
• 36:45
Speaker 2: This is a great blind when it's not a unanimous decision.
• 36:50
Speaker 4: Because if something is so much better than everybody else's, it makes it not as fun.
• 36:59
Speaker 2: Out of four of us.
• 37:00
Speaker 3: It was no clear decision winner the top three wasn't even clear it was like there was just it's all around for me though.
• 37:09
Speaker 1: For me, though, really, the the four roses was the one.
• 37:13
Speaker 1: Okay, so four roses and mictors, 10 to me, and that was my entry that was your yep were now okay, the four roses and the red, which is um four roses with blue.
• 37:27
Speaker 1: What was the red one?
• 37:28
Speaker 1: Yeah, victor's 10 and the four roses.
• 37:33
Speaker 1: So the difference of why I was able to pick four roses very close, but the body of the four roses just was a little bit better.
• 37:42
Speaker 1: It was bolder, yeah, but yes, but but it was based off of the drinkability.
• 37:47
Speaker 1: The other ones, like, as you go down further, they were a little bit.
• 37:52
Speaker 1: They were hotter, yeah, and it, and sometimes when the spice is a little bit high, hot, it makes it like a little bit like a like, like confrontational, like you're trying to, you're trying to taste over the heat, and not that these weren't great and you can taste, but you got to work for the, the first two for me, which was the four roses in the midter's tent.
• 38:16
Speaker 1: You don't have to work at all.
• 38:17
Speaker 1: For me it's just like you're drinking it.
• 38:20
Speaker 4: We're very close, I would have to say.
• 38:21
