- 0:15SPEAKER_00: What is going on, big ballers?
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: It's your boy MJG coming at you with another fancy fumble episode.
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: I got your boy Birdman here.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: He's coming at you from my other side over here.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: Joe, how the hell are you doing today, brother?
- 0:32SPEAKER_01: I'm doing very well, Manny.
- 0:34SPEAKER_01: We have one week until the football season begins.
- 0:38SPEAKER_01: So it's crunch time.
- 0:40SPEAKER_01: You know, I'm looking deep into these players.
- 0:42SPEAKER_01: I've already had one draft.
- 0:44SPEAKER_01: I got like three or four this weekend, maybe five.
- 0:48SPEAKER_01: Um, and I'm just looking forward to a good discussion about our top 15 quarterbacks this week.
- 1:00SPEAKER_01: But before we get into it, quick word from our sponsor.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: Hey there.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: My name is Manny James Gonzalez with PRB, and I'm a real estate agent here in Central Florida.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: I'm a U.S.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: Navy veteran, military relocation pro, and big supporter of 2A and veterans' rights.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: My specialty is VA transactions.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: I'm also experienced in all parts of real estate.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: I've been living in Florida for over 20 years, and I can tell you we still believe in freedom down here.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: One of the greatest job markets, excellent economy, and no state income tax.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: When it comes to an agent, you want one that's gonna be honest, not afraid of a fight, and most importantly, you're willing to do the things that some agents aren't willing to do.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: And what's that, Manny?
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: Shoot straight, Dan.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: If you ever consider buying in Central Florida, you need somebody you can trust, and I got your sticks.
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: I'm Manny James Gonzalez.
- 1:59SPEAKER_00: Find land for the free and home for the brave.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: Now to kick things off, I'm going with Jalen Hurts.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: He threw 23 touchdowns, rushed for over 600 yards, and racked up 15 rushing touchdowns last season.
- 2:24SPEAKER_01: And on top of that, the the Eagles have a great offensive line.
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: So expect more of the same, or possibly for those numbers to get higher.
- 2:32SPEAKER_01: I am banking on the numbers getting a little bit higher.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: Yes, Joe.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna hate on my boy Hurts uh at all.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: I don't have him number one, uh, but I'm gonna tell you I like that take.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: Let me tell you, as an Eagles fan, I like that take.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: I know you did.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: All right, for my number one, brother, I got a guy that I've I've been pretty bullish on for the last few years, man.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: Mr.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: Josh Allen, big number 17 for Buffalo Bills.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: That guy is coming in, man.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: He's he's stealing all the touchdowns for all the running backs.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: Don't be a running back on his team because Josh Allen, man, he averaged 23 points a game last year, PPR formats.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: He had over 4,300 passing yards and threw another five or 600 on the ground.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: Like the guy was an absolute monster here.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: Um, and actually, I have the stats here.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: He actually put up more than that.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: He put up 524 on the ground with 111 carries and and also had 15 touchdowns.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: So uh no no one actually knew that Josh tied him up, and he actually had three more touchdown pass, uh, excuse me, he had six more touchdown passes than Jalen Hurts.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: Uh, so he had an MVP-like year.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: Not sure how Lamar got it, though.
- 3:53SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 3:54SPEAKER_01: I was wondering about that myself.
- 3:56SPEAKER_01: Um, I recently heard that.
- 3:58SPEAKER_01: I was kind of kind of thinking back on the season, I would have given that to Josh Allen.
- 4:03SPEAKER_01: But hey, people give him a lot of a hard time for the interceptions that he throws, but you can't discount as a fantasy quarterback the numbers that he puts up.
- 4:13SPEAKER_01: And that's why I have him at number two.
- 4:20SPEAKER_01: Even in games without Stephon Diggs and Gabe Davis, Allen was an absolute beast.
- 4:25SPEAKER_01: I was just telling Manny right before we went live, on my first draft, I was deciding between in the third round, James Cook and Devon Achan.
- 4:34SPEAKER_01: And I went with the safe option in James Cook.
- 4:38SPEAKER_01: But the biggest thing on my mind is how many of those touchdowns at the goal line Josh Allen is going to take instead of James Cook.
- 4:46SPEAKER_01: So, you know, he he rushed for over 500 yards, as you said, uh, 29 passing touchdowns, 15 rushing touchdowns, just like Jalen Hurts.
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: Still has Dalton Kincaid, James Cook, Khalil Shakir.
- 4:59SPEAKER_01: We'll see what he does.
- 5:00SPEAKER_01: Um, but Buffalo also has a great offensive line, so he's got that protection to make plays, and I expect more of the same.
- 5:06SPEAKER_01: He could easily be the number one fantasy quarterback.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: It's funny because we just have him flipped around, man.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: I have Jalen Hurts as number two.
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: He's gonna come out, he's gonna uh run the ball, he's gonna run that Philly uh brotherly shove.
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: It's not the touch push for all you Homo sapiens out there that want to call it that.
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: It's the brotherly shove, all right?
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: It's from Philly, we named it.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: You guys hate us, we don't care, all right?
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: That's what we call it, that's what it's gonna be.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: And now you're gonna have to stop Saquon.
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: And I can tell you right now, there's gonna be enough, enough touches for Jalen Hurts to take another 15 at least this year as well.
- 5:50SPEAKER_00: So um expect that.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: But also in that that Kellen Moore high flying, uh high passing offense, you're gonna see a lot of touchdowns.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: AJ Brown, Devontae Smith.
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: They just added Jahan Dotson.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: I mean, if Dallas Goddard is healthy, he could be good.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: I don't count much on that guy, though.
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: But uh look out for that rookie, Johnny Wilson from uh FSU.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: That guy's a stud.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: He's six foot six, 225 pounds.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: He's super athletic, super fast, and has good hands.
- 6:19SPEAKER_00: He was a steal out of the fifth round this year.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: So I expect Philly to do some make some noise.
- 6:24SPEAKER_00: Um, and and you're gonna see a lot of dump offs to Saquon, of course.
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: So that's gonna be fancy gold.
- 6:31SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 6:32SPEAKER_01: Uh, you got to factor in those dump offs just like the goal line carries.
- 6:35SPEAKER_01: You know, Saquon will probably be getting more of those than goal line carries, so that's only gonna help Jalen Hurts.
- 6:43SPEAKER_01: Now, at number three, this is a bold prediction, but you know how we do around here.
- 6:48SPEAKER_01: We have big balls, we let him breathe.
- 6:51SPEAKER_01: So for my number three quarterback, I have Anthony Richardson.
- 7:01SPEAKER_01: Similar player as the first two on my list.
- 7:04SPEAKER_01: He looked good before his injury last year.
- 7:06SPEAKER_01: Now, I I've heard a lot of people say he's gonna be a bust, and you know, I understand it's a very small sample size that we got last year.
- 7:16SPEAKER_01: But he is a very similar player to Jalen Hurts and Josh Allen.
- 7:19SPEAKER_01: He looked great before his injury, and he's now playing with a full team, a healthy team.
- 7:27SPEAKER_01: He's got Michael Pittman, Josh Downs, and Jonathan Taylor from day one.
- 7:31SPEAKER_01: And he's going to be running a ball a lot.
- 7:33SPEAKER_01: All the the most successful fantasy quarterbacks run the ball a lot, and the Colts also have a rock solid offensive line.
- 7:40SPEAKER_01: So as long as they protect him, he's going to have an unbelievable year.
- 7:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 7:47SPEAKER_00: Uh that's actually not so much of a hot take, man.
- 7:50SPEAKER_00: I I've been seeing some Anthony Richardson tape, and that guy, he's a frick, he's a freak of nature, and and people don't realize he's gonna be he's very accurate, too.
- 8:02SPEAKER_00: That's what I'm saying.
- 8:02SPEAKER_01: He can throw the ball too, yeah.
- 8:04SPEAKER_00: They'll get it twisted.
- 8:05SPEAKER_00: Um, I don't have him at number three, however.
- 8:08SPEAKER_00: Um, my number three I have is Mr.
- 8:11SPEAKER_00: CJ Stroud from Houston.
- 8:13SPEAKER_00: Love that.
- 8:16SPEAKER_00: CJ, of course, coming out uh from an amazing rookie campaign.
- 8:20SPEAKER_00: He set some rookie records, uh, franchise records for sure.
- 8:24SPEAKER_00: Uh last year he was passing for 40 over 4,100 yards, averaged 18 points a game PPR.
- 8:31SPEAKER_00: I mean, and that's with Tank Dell and Noah Brown and you know uh uh Dalton Schultz, you know, the tight end.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: So not saying those aren't uh good pass catchers, they're pretty solid pass catchers, but they're not elite pass catchers, right?
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: So they went ahead and added Stefan Diggs, you know, uh to that backfield there.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: Uh so at and they also have Joe Mixon, who they're gonna use a lot in the goal line, also a lot of dump balls for him as well.
- 8:59SPEAKER_00: So I can see that being a lot of fancy points for CJ because he doesn't like to rush in the one-yard line.
- 9:06SPEAKER_00: So I would definitely expect a little bit uh a lot more of those four touchdown games you came to see last year.
- 9:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I love that.
- 9:15SPEAKER_01: That's a big balls call right there, too.
- 9:17SPEAKER_01: Putting him in the top three, that's big balls.
- 9:19SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna talk about him soon, too.
- 9:22SPEAKER_01: Uh at the number four spot, I have Lamar Jackson.
- 9:30SPEAKER_01: Uh, he's a similar player as the first three on my list.
- 9:34SPEAKER_01: Spreads the ball around a lot.
- 9:35SPEAKER_01: He's got a healthy Mark Andrews ready to go.
- 9:38SPEAKER_01: And, you know, he's still got the receiving core with Zay Flowers, Rashad Bateman, Nelson Aguilar, who are reliable enough to keep the ball moving.
- 9:45SPEAKER_01: And most importantly, Lamar rushed for 800 yards, over 800 yards last year.
- 9:51SPEAKER_01: He only had five rushing touchdowns, which is a big difference from the first guys I mentioned, like Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts, but that's huge.
- 10:00SPEAKER_01: And I expect that five rushing touchdowns to be more like 10 this year.
- 10:04SPEAKER_01: Um, and they don't have the best offensive line, but Lamar is fine in the scramble.
- 10:09SPEAKER_01: He can create more opportunities with the run uh when rushes are coming in.
- 10:14SPEAKER_01: So I'm not worried about that at all.
- 10:16SPEAKER_01: Expect a very similar year for Lamar, but more consistent than last year.
- 10:22SPEAKER_00: For my number four, I have Mr.
- 10:25SPEAKER_00: Anthony Richardson.
- 10:29SPEAKER_00: The big man for the Colts.
- 10:31SPEAKER_00: We all know he didn't play much last year, but man, did he come back stronger than ever?
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: He's healthy, he's strong, uh, he had an extra year to study, so I think he's gonna be a much smarter quarterback.
- 10:41SPEAKER_00: And I'm also a believer that you want to let your franchise quarterback sit for a year or two and learn.
- 10:47SPEAKER_00: So the fact that he had to do that by injury was actually a blessing in disguise because learning a year under uh Shane Steichen's system to actually learn how that offense is run uh was a huge benefit to him.
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: And then the fact that he could possibly work on his dynamics and his mechanics as well is gonna make sure he has a better passing uh motion as well.
- 11:08SPEAKER_00: So I know that people were concerned about his accuracy coming out of college, but I think those people are gonna be the same people that were concerned about Lamar Jackson's passing accuracy, right?
- 11:19SPEAKER_00: And we all know what happened there.
- 11:20SPEAKER_00: Uh he became the two-time MVP uh for the NFL.
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: So at the end of the day, Anthony Richardson's gonna have a big year.
- 11:28SPEAKER_00: He has a lot of weapons, and um the sky is the limit for that guy.
- 11:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I was surprised to hear you had him at number four, but I love it.
- 11:37SPEAKER_01: I'm glad we're pretty much on the same page about that.
- 11:40SPEAKER_00: That's why I busted out laughing when you said number three.
- 11:42SPEAKER_00: I was like, oh man, that's not so much of a hot take.
- 11:45SPEAKER_00: I was like, I love him this year.
- 11:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah, man.
- 11:48SPEAKER_01: I heard a couple people just saying, you know, it's too small of a sample size.
- 11:52SPEAKER_01: That may be true.
- 11:53SPEAKER_01: We'll see.
- 11:54SPEAKER_01: I don't think it is.
- 11:56SPEAKER_01: Now, at number five, I have Patrick Mahomes.
- 12:03SPEAKER_01: Even with Kelsey as the only only reliable pass catcher on the team, Mahomes is always at the top of the list.
- 12:10SPEAKER_01: So, with that said, he now has Rasheed Rice, who has proven to be a consistent wide receiver, and Hollywood Brown was added to the roster.
- 12:20SPEAKER_01: So look at that.
- 12:22SPEAKER_01: His wide receiver core has been expanded, or it's not just leaning on Kelsey every play, and Pacheco can catch the ball too.
- 12:30SPEAKER_01: So Mahomes, not the most mobile quarterback, but he is clutch and he always turns in a good fantasy year.
- 12:39SPEAKER_01: Last year was the worst year he's had in a long time, and with the additions of, you know, not the addition of Rasheed Rice, but the proven effectiveness of Rasheed Rice as a pass catcher and Hollywood Brown added to the roster.
- 12:54SPEAKER_01: And Kelsey, he was a little inconsistent last year.
- 12:56SPEAKER_01: That could have been on Mahomes, I'm not sure.
- 12:58SPEAKER_01: But those three as pass catchers and able to dump the ball off to Pacheco, expect Mahomes to bounce back in a major this in a major way this year, and that's why I have him as the number five.
- 13:13SPEAKER_00: That's something that uh it's not a far fetch at all.
- 13:15SPEAKER_00: Never count Mahomes out, that's for sure.
- 13:18SPEAKER_00: Super Bowl champion.
- 13:20SPEAKER_00: Yes, sir.
- 13:21SPEAKER_00: I mean, that's actually Taylor Swift, but you know.
- 13:28SPEAKER_00: We'll see if he's like a three time, he's a three-time champion, I think, right?
- 13:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like that.
- 13:32SPEAKER_00: Three-time champion.
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: Um, but uh as far as me for my number five, I actually have gentlemen you just talked about, Lamar Jackson, number five.
- 13:45SPEAKER_00: So he's obviously super talented.
- 13:48SPEAKER_00: He lost about 10 pounds in the offseason, so you're gonna see him a lot quicker.
- 13:52SPEAKER_00: So I see him doing a little bit more passing this year instead of running because now he has Derrick Henry back there, so they're gonna let Derrick Henry take a majority of those carries, and Lamar is just gonna try to burn him like he always does, runs a lot of those uh counters and those fakes and those uh options, and then you're gonna see him throwing the ball to his uh horrible receivers, right?
- 14:15SPEAKER_00: Because uh you're gonna see a lot of big tight end sets, uh, obviously.
- 14:19SPEAKER_00: Uh, but I mean Mark Andrews and uh what's what was the rookie from last year, tight end?
- 14:25SPEAKER_00: Um can't recall his name.
- 14:27SPEAKER_01: Zay Flowers.
- 14:28SPEAKER_00: Uh well Zay Flowers is a stud in the outside, but there's another tight end.
- 14:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but the the tight end for for them as well, they have a backup tight end that's actually really good as well.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: So uh they have rookie tight end.
- 14:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, rookie tight end, but they run a lot of big tight end sets.
- 14:44SPEAKER_00: Uh that's Maltimore style.
- 14:45SPEAKER_00: But I I I can see him having a really good year, and that's why I have him at number five, because if he's healthy, he's definitely a top five player.
- 14:55SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 14:56SPEAKER_01: Now, number six, I've got CJ Stroud.
- 15:03SPEAKER_01: Drew for over 4,000 yards, his rookie season.
- 15:06SPEAKER_01: He has Nico Collins, Tank Dell, and they added Stephon Diggs to the roster, as we already discussed, and Joe Mixon, who clearly be involved in the passing game.
- 15:15SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, you had guys last year that were, you know, safety valves for him, like Robert Woods and Dalton Schultz.
- 15:22SPEAKER_01: Uh, they'll probably still be involved too.
- 15:25SPEAKER_01: He has all the weapons to be in the top three this year, and they have an improved offensive line, which was a big hurdle for them last year.
- 15:33SPEAKER_01: So expect more of the same, but even better.
- 15:37SPEAKER_00: All right, for my number six, I do have Mr.
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: Patrick Mahomes.
- 15:41SPEAKER_00: So just one spot back from you.
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: He's done uh a lot more with a lot less.
- 15:50SPEAKER_00: Um, definitely.
- 15:51SPEAKER_00: Last year was one of the worst receiving courts he's ever had, and he still managed to win the Super Bowl with it.
- 15:57SPEAKER_00: So they managed to add uh a couple pieces.
- 16:00SPEAKER_00: Xavier Watson, the rookie, was just added this offseason.
- 16:04SPEAKER_00: Uh they just signed Juju Smith Schuster back, release Kadarius Tony.
- 16:09SPEAKER_00: Um, and then of course Rasheed Rice is coming back, and they're probably not gonna suspend him.
- 16:14SPEAKER_00: Uh, so we we don't know what's happening there.
- 16:16SPEAKER_00: So you definitely have uh that plus Kelsey returning.
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: So uh you're gonna see a lot of Mahomes action uh again this year.
- 16:24SPEAKER_00: So you can never count that team out.
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: That guy always brings them back in and he always scores.
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: So uh definitely always a safe play for fantasy.
- 16:34SPEAKER_00: You just gotta grab them in the right value as far as rounds are concerned.
- 16:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and I'm noticing that you can take quarterbacks, but it it feels like you can take them later this year than you did last year.
- 16:48SPEAKER_01: Um with the mock drafts I've done and the real drafts I've done.
- 16:52SPEAKER_01: They've been going a little bit later.
- 16:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah, fourth to the fifth round.
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: You could grab yourself uh, you know, uh uh Mahomes or a Jalen Hurts.
- 17:03SPEAKER_01: You'd be lucky to get Jalen Hurts that late, but one guy that I know you can get late, and this is the biggest balls call that I've made so far, in my opinion, with all these rankings, a guy that you can get super late, and I think is it is going to be an absolute monster who I've ranked at number seven is Jaden Daniels.
- 17:28SPEAKER_01: Drafting rookie quarterbacks always risky, but again, I just think the guy is going to be a total monster.
- 17:34SPEAKER_01: Uh the top fantasy quarterbacks often run the ball.
- 17:38SPEAKER_01: And Daniels had over a thousand rushing yards last year at LSU, but he can throw the ball too.
- 17:44SPEAKER_01: He still has Terry McLaurin and Brian Robinson and Austin Eckler will give him a safety valve to dump the ball.
- 17:50SPEAKER_01: Um, not really sure about the rookie line.
- 17:53SPEAKER_01: They have, I think, three rookies on their offensive line, but we'll see.
- 17:57SPEAKER_01: That's the biggest concern that I have.
- 17:59SPEAKER_01: Is he going to be protected?
- 18:00SPEAKER_01: The Washington Commanders are not a good football team, but I do think I do think, at least on offense, they can turn things around this year.
- 18:10SPEAKER_01: And I think Jaden Daniels will be a huge reason for that.
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: That is a big old balls call, Joe.
- 18:17SPEAKER_00: I like it though.
- 18:18SPEAKER_00: Very big call.
- 18:19SPEAKER_00: I never would see him that high.
- 18:21SPEAKER_00: So that I like how you bring that that differing view because it brings it's a hot take and a half.
- 18:28SPEAKER_01: It is.
- 18:28SPEAKER_01: As I said, out of all these rankings I've done, that's the ballsiest of them all.
- 18:33SPEAKER_01: And I'm really eager to see.
- 18:35SPEAKER_01: I was gonna draft him.
- 18:36SPEAKER_01: Uh waited a little too long.
- 18:38SPEAKER_01: I was trying to get him in like the 10th round.
- 18:41SPEAKER_01: But but that's the benefit, is is you can grab him in the late rounds, and he could be you know in the top three if he really, really plays to his full potential.
- 18:50SPEAKER_01: And that's why I have him at number seven.
- 18:53SPEAKER_00: Yes, folks, and that's Joe's take, not mine.
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: All right, guys.
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: Remember that.
- 18:57SPEAKER_00: That's right.
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: All right, for my number seven, I played it a little bit more safe than that, not as ballsy, Joe.
- 19:05SPEAKER_00: I have Kyler Murray at number seven.
- 19:10SPEAKER_00: The guy obviously missed a lot of games last year.
- 19:13SPEAKER_00: Uh, he only played eight games, uh, second half of the season, came off of IR.
- 19:19SPEAKER_00: Um, but he still averaged 18 points a game.
- 19:21SPEAKER_00: The guy threw for over 1,800 yards.
- 19:23SPEAKER_00: I mean, he was he was solid.
- 19:26SPEAKER_00: And uh he has a new weapon.
- 19:28SPEAKER_00: He has Marvin Harrison Jr., who's gonna be one of the best route runners you've probably ever seen in the NFL.
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: Uh, he still has James Connor.
- 19:37SPEAKER_00: Uh, not that he's much of a pass catcher, but uh I think he does bring that dynamic of you have to respect a run so that it opens up the pass, you know.
- 19:47SPEAKER_00: So it's as far as that's concerned, uh, I appreciate that.
- 19:50SPEAKER_00: And of course, he does bring a lot of uh potential on the ground as well.
- 19:55SPEAKER_00: You know, he's gonna be somebody that's gonna rush, and he's super quick, and they like to run that uh that play action bootleg, you know, to the on the red zone.
- 20:05SPEAKER_00: So uh that's gonna get them a lot of touchdowns.
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: So I could see him jumping into the top seven easily this year as well.
- 20:13SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 20:14SPEAKER_01: And um one of the guys I also love on Arizona is Trey McBride.
- 20:21SPEAKER_01: He's gonna get fed the ball a lot, and he will be a safety valve when you know he's getting when when Kyler's getting rushed, he'll dump the ball off to someone like Trey McBride frequently.
- 20:33SPEAKER_01: So I love him as an addition to the league.
- 20:36SPEAKER_01: Um now, spoiler alert, this is another big balls call.
- 20:42SPEAKER_01: I do not have Kyler Murray in my top 15.
- 20:46SPEAKER_01: That was a difficult decision for me to make.
- 20:49SPEAKER_01: That was a difficult decision for me to make, but I stand by it because I I haven't seen him really play in the last couple years.
- 20:58SPEAKER_01: And now you could say the same thing.
- 20:59SPEAKER_01: Well, you have Jaden Daniels, you haven't seen him in the NFL, and you've got um Anthony Richardson, you haven't really seen him play.
- 21:06SPEAKER_01: But over the last couple years, Kyler has not proven to be a top 15 quarterback, and maybe I'm wrong.
- 21:15SPEAKER_01: I hope I'm wrong because I have uh, you know, I'm heavily invested in people like Trey McBride and also um James Connor.
- 21:23SPEAKER_01: I just like Arizona as a football team and I want to see them do well.
- 21:27SPEAKER_01: So I truly hope that Kyler is a top 10 fantasy quarterback, but I just need to see him back in full form before I can put him on my list.
- 21:38SPEAKER_01: That's fair enough.
- 21:40SPEAKER_01: Well, bullshit, it's probably wrong, but guys, that's why you're getting uh contrast here.
- 21:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you have to.
- 21:47SPEAKER_00: You have to.
- 21:48SPEAKER_00: If we agreed on everything, you'd uh you probably wouldn't watch us, guys.
- 21:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, just kidding.
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: Nobody watches us.
- 21:55SPEAKER_01: You've got you've got to, um, you know, you've got to hear different perspectives, and if you're on the The fence about someone, maybe one of these perspectives will push you on either side.
- 22:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:05SPEAKER_00: Maybe you'll fall on the fence and crush your nuts.
- 22:08SPEAKER_01: Or maybe you just stand right in the center.
- 22:09SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 22:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:10SPEAKER_00: And then don't blame us because you know what?
- 22:12SPEAKER_00: We're not setting your lineups, guys.
- 22:15SPEAKER_00: This is all free will, right?
- 22:16SPEAKER_00: This is pretty fancy advice.
- 22:19SPEAKER_01: Now, at number eight, I have Jordan Love.
- 22:26SPEAKER_01: He really settled into the Green Bay offense last year, finished the regular season with over 4,000 passing yards, and has the same uh cast of wide receivers.
- 22:35SPEAKER_01: Jaden Reed, Christian Watson, Romeo Dobbs.
- 22:38SPEAKER_01: All reliable options.
- 22:39SPEAKER_01: You know, none of those guys are going to be like wide receiver one.
- 22:42SPEAKER_01: Um, but those are all guys you could plug in confidence uh at the flex spot.
- 22:48SPEAKER_01: And you know, we didn't even really get to see Aaron Jones last year, and Jordan Love still looked amazing.
- 22:53SPEAKER_01: So expect him to continue spreading the ball to Jaden Reed, Christian Watson, Romeo Dobbs, and expect Josh Jacobs to be a little bit involved too.
- 23:02SPEAKER_01: And I just see him having uh, you know, another great year and possibly even better than last year.
- 23:10SPEAKER_00: You know, it's funny because this is probably gonna be one of the few ones we do have exactly alike, because I also have Jordan Love up on my list, and he leapfrogged a lot of quarterbacks that other analysts have ranked a lot, you know, far above him, you know.
- 23:29SPEAKER_00: And I I just think he's gonna come in, he's gonna repeat on his success from last year because he has the same team.
- 23:35SPEAKER_00: The only difference is he's upgraded at running back, he's improved on the O-line, and he has the same exact coach and coordinator, right?
- 23:42SPEAKER_00: So, or actually he's upgraded back to Flea uh Matt Fleverless or Averfluos, whatever his name is.
- 23:50SPEAKER_00: I think he's back there.
- 23:52SPEAKER_00: But um uh, and correct me if I'm wrong, but uh I think overall that team's gonna come come in, they're gonna bring in the they're gonna start on fire, and uh I wouldn't even be surprised if they upset my Eagles the first game because my Eagles are a newer team put together, and they're a team that's pretty consistent and and coming back together, so they might have better chemistry.
- 24:16SPEAKER_01: Now at number nine, I have my boy from the Detroit Lions, Jared Goff.
- 24:27SPEAKER_01: I know all the analysts have him outside of the top 15, maybe even outside of the top 20.
- 24:33SPEAKER_01: I don't think Jared Goff gets the respect he deserves.
- 24:36SPEAKER_01: I've said this over and over.
- 24:37SPEAKER_01: He finished the regular season with 4,575 passing yards.
- 24:42SPEAKER_01: He will have another great year, and you can pick him in the later rounds.
- 24:46SPEAKER_01: And they have the best offensive line in the NFL.
- 24:49SPEAKER_01: So he is heavily protected.
- 24:51SPEAKER_01: He's got time to throw to some of the best pass catchers in the NFL.
- 24:56SPEAKER_01: Expect another 4,000 plus yard season from Jared Goff.
- 25:01SPEAKER_00: That is another big balls call.
- 25:03SPEAKER_00: You're I'm definitely gonna be clipping on your stuff this this segment because you're you're gonna be bringing in all the clicks here.
- 25:10SPEAKER_01: Let's hope so.
- 25:12SPEAKER_00: Yes, sir.
- 25:13SPEAKER_01: Love them or hate them.
- 25:14SPEAKER_01: I've got some hot takes.
- 25:15SPEAKER_00: Yes, sir.
- 25:16SPEAKER_00: Hey, that no, they're good ones.
- 25:18SPEAKER_00: I like them.
- 25:18SPEAKER_00: I like them, and you're right.
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: He was uh the league leader last year in yards, uh 4,500.
- 25:24SPEAKER_00: So uh definitely no one came above him, uh literally.
- 25:28SPEAKER_00: Uh Dakua did close up.
- 25:30SPEAKER_00: Tua did actually come above him.
- 25:32SPEAKER_00: Oh, 46.
- 25:33SPEAKER_00: You're right.
- 25:33SPEAKER_00: 4624 for Tua, and Dak was at 4516 for passing yards.
- 25:39SPEAKER_00: So they were actually, those were the top three guys.
- 25:42SPEAKER_00: For my number nine guy, I actually have Mr.
- 25:44SPEAKER_00: Joe Barrow coming back.
- 25:49SPEAKER_00: Uh he has those slim shady vibes this year.
- 25:52SPEAKER_00: I said it before, I like it.
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: You know, he has a little bit of swagger.
- 25:55SPEAKER_00: Uh T.
- 25:56SPEAKER_00: Hengins needs to get paid.
- 25:57SPEAKER_00: So guess what?
- 25:58SPEAKER_00: He's gonna be healthy, he's gonna play through injuries, and he's gonna ball out.
- 26:02SPEAKER_00: Jamar Chase last year didn't have Joe Barrow for half the season.
- 26:05SPEAKER_00: He still did okay, but he's gonna need to ball out as well.
- 26:09SPEAKER_00: So I'm gonna see uh you're gonna see a big year from Joe Barrow.
- 26:12SPEAKER_00: He's finally healthy.
- 26:14SPEAKER_00: That elbow is finally looking good again, and so he's gonna need to show him the league why he's one of the best quarterbacks in the league again.
- 26:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and I'm not sure what's going on with Jamar Chase yet, but a full year from Jamar and Joe Burrow is gonna be fireworks.
- 26:29SPEAKER_01: And again, T.
- 26:31SPEAKER_01: Higgins right there to compliment both of them.
- 26:33SPEAKER_01: That's a good mix.
- 26:34SPEAKER_01: And they do they don't have you know uh Joe Burrow to just dump the ball off to anymore, but that's okay.
- 26:41SPEAKER_01: They got Zach Moss back there.
- 26:42SPEAKER_01: He'll be fine.
- 26:43SPEAKER_00: Uh Joe Mixon and Chase Brown.
- 26:45SPEAKER_01: What did I say?
- 26:46SPEAKER_01: Joe Burrow.
- 26:48SPEAKER_01: Um, yeah, Joe Burrow doesn't have Joe Mixon back there, but he has Zach Moss and he's got Chase Brown, so he'll be just fine.
- 26:57SPEAKER_01: Now at number 10, I've got Dak Prescott.
- 27:03SPEAKER_01: Dak finished the regular season with 4,500 yards, over 4,500 yards.
- 27:09SPEAKER_01: He is arguably the best wide receiver in the league with CD Lamb, who just got paid big time.
- 27:15SPEAKER_01: So he's gonna come out and prove to everyone that he's worth it.
- 27:19SPEAKER_01: And he's got other wide receivers on the team that complement him very well.
- 27:23SPEAKER_01: I mean, I don't see him being able to replicate the level of production that he had last year, but at full health with CeeDee Lamb, I think he's gonna be a really productive guy that can squeak into the top 10.
- 27:36SPEAKER_01: And the Cowboys just need to protect him.
- 27:38SPEAKER_01: They have a solid O-line, so I see that being the case.
- 27:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he had a good year last year.
- 27:44SPEAKER_00: Um, I'm not that high on him, of course.
- 27:48SPEAKER_00: I don't know if it's I just don't feel like he has that many weapons.
- 27:52SPEAKER_00: You know, Jake Ferguson's good, obviously CD's the man.
- 27:55SPEAKER_00: Um, but beyond that, you know, it's kind of a question mark for me, um, especially with those running backs being so suspect.
- 28:02SPEAKER_00: Um but for my number uh 10 guy, I have Mr.
- 28:07SPEAKER_00: Brock Purdy.
- 28:11SPEAKER_00: He had an amazing year last year.
- 28:13SPEAKER_00: Uh, even with Christian McCaffrey rushing for over like 2,000 yards almost.
- 28:19SPEAKER_00: Uh Brock Purdy threw for over 4,000 yards.
- 28:21SPEAKER_00: He averaged 18 yards a game.
- 28:24SPEAKER_00: Uh, he almost hit over 300 points in the fantasy season in a PPR league.
- 28:28SPEAKER_00: So he was on fire when the guy was doing it.
- 28:31SPEAKER_00: And uh I think at the end of the day, he's a really good value laid on, too.
- 28:35SPEAKER_00: So you get somebody like that giving you 18 points a game, that's a really solid starter for you, especially in uh uh someone you could get pretty late around the eighth, ninth round.
- 28:45SPEAKER_01: Absolutely, and um that segues perfectly into my number 11, Brock Purdy.
- 28:54SPEAKER_01: I agree with everything you just said.
- 28:56SPEAKER_01: I actually had my first draft earlier this week, and I grabbed Brock Purdy in the ninth round.
- 29:02SPEAKER_01: That's amazing.
- 29:03SPEAKER_01: I mean, the dude is another guy that doesn't get the respect he deserves.
- 29:08SPEAKER_01: And he threw for 4,280 yards during the regular season.
- 29:12SPEAKER_01: He has one of the best offenses in the league.
- 29:14SPEAKER_01: CMC, Ayuk, Debo, Kittle.
- 29:17SPEAKER_01: He's gonna do great things once again.
- 29:19SPEAKER_01: Maybe this year he'll get the respect he deserves.
- 29:22SPEAKER_01: Easily could slide into the top 10.
- 29:24SPEAKER_01: But right now, he's at the 11th spot for me, one below you.
- 29:28SPEAKER_00: All right, and for my number 11 spot, I actually have Mr.
- 29:32SPEAKER_00: Jared Goff.
- 29:36SPEAKER_00: He had over 4,500 yards, which you mentioned.
- 29:39SPEAKER_00: But I mean, he did that with two premier running backs.
- 29:42SPEAKER_00: He had Jameer Gibbs and David Montgomery, who I was really high on last year.
- 29:47SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 29:48SPEAKER_00: Um, but David Montgomery, man, they both did excellent.
- 29:51SPEAKER_00: They both had over a thousand rushing yards last year, him and Jameer Gibbs.
- 29:55SPEAKER_00: Uh, actually, Jameer had like 900, but he had all purpose yards over a thousand.
- 30:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 30:00SPEAKER_00: Um, and and man, that guy was still putting in work with uh only one good receiver, Amon Ross St.
- 30:07SPEAKER_00: Brown and Ashley Sam Laporta is a great receiver, too.
- 30:10SPEAKER_00: Uh, but outside of that, they didn't have any other pass catchers.
- 30:14SPEAKER_00: I mean, everyone else was a running back and a bunch of role players.
- 30:17SPEAKER_00: So now they have Jamison Williams coming a full year healthy.
- 30:22SPEAKER_00: Hopefully, he doesn't get it suspended.
- 30:24SPEAKER_00: Uh, but you know, O-line for a whole year, you know, Taylor Decker last year was injured for the first few games.
- 30:30SPEAKER_00: So to have him back for the entire season should be a big step up for them.
- 30:35SPEAKER_00: Uh, so I expect a lot of a lot of damage for Jared Goff and of revenge tour, of course, for all the disrespect.
- 30:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I I hope you're right about that.
- 30:44SPEAKER_01: And I I do think you're right about that.
- 30:48SPEAKER_01: Now at number 12, I've got Tua Tagveloa.
- 30:56SPEAKER_01: Tua was a beast last year.
- 30:58SPEAKER_01: He had over 4,600 passing yards, but he was inconsistent.
- 31:02SPEAKER_01: It's hard to keep him out of the top 10 when you have, you know, Tyreek as your number one receiver and Jalen Waddle, who's a total beast as well.
- 31:11SPEAKER_01: Um, I just don't see him being able to replicate what he did last year.
- 31:16SPEAKER_00: And I actually completely agree with you because I also have two at number 12.
- 31:20SPEAKER_00: Uh, so that's pretty funny.
- 31:23SPEAKER_00: And I agree, you know, 4,600 yards.
- 31:26SPEAKER_00: I mean, Josh McDaniels caught the league on fire last year, like by storm.
- 31:31SPEAKER_00: So I don't I don't expect that to happen again.
- 31:33SPEAKER_00: I expect everybody to be ready for those motion offenses.
- 31:36SPEAKER_00: Yes, they're still gonna score some big plays.
- 31:38SPEAKER_00: Yes, they're gonna catch some people off guard, but I don't think it's gonna be as often as it was last year, so it'll still happen, but uh it'll probably be on more running back reverses, which means Tua stats will go down.
- 31:51SPEAKER_00: And he only averaged 15 points a game last year, which means although he had 4,600 yards, he didn't have very many touchdowns.
- 31:59SPEAKER_00: As a matter of fact, if you were to look at his touchdowns, he only actually had 29 passing touchdowns, which is pretty solid, bro.
- 32:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that is solid.
- 32:07SPEAKER_00: But to only average that many points is kind of weird.
- 32:10SPEAKER_00: Um actually, yeah, yeah, that's right.
- 32:14SPEAKER_00: 16 points a game, it's not that great.
- 32:16SPEAKER_00: Um, but at the end of the day, you know, uh I'm not too keen on him, and I'm not gonna you know grab him early.
- 32:24SPEAKER_00: He's more of a 10th round pick, in my opinion.
- 32:27SPEAKER_00: And if you get him around there, that's pretty solid.
- 32:30SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, for sure.
- 32:31SPEAKER_01: And and he was very inconsistent last year.
- 32:34SPEAKER_01: So it's hard to put a guy in your team and start him with confidence when when you're really not sure which two you're gonna get.
- 32:43SPEAKER_01: Now, at number 13, I've got Joe Burrow.
- 32:52SPEAKER_01: He's healthy, but I'm gonna have to see a little bit more consistency before I can commit to him being in the top 10.
- 32:59SPEAKER_01: Uh, I would love to have him on my roster because I know you can get him late in later rounds of the draft, too.
- 33:04SPEAKER_01: And with Jamar Chase and T.
- 33:06SPEAKER_01: Higgins, uh, and and a healthy jerk Joe Burrow, that offense is gonna be explosive.
- 33:12SPEAKER_01: So expect him to bounce back and be the same guy that we saw from a couple years ago.
- 33:18SPEAKER_00: I like Joe Burrow.
- 33:19SPEAKER_00: I definitely think hopefully he does come back healthy, you know, and obviously he could still be in that top even better.
- 33:26SPEAKER_00: Um but for my guy, uh for my number 13 guy, I do have gentlemen, you have much higher, uh, but I do see the potential for him, Mr.
- 33:35SPEAKER_00: Jaden Daniels.
- 33:39SPEAKER_00: So Jaden, obviously, uh another Lamar Jackson type player.
- 33:43SPEAKER_00: So he has uh you know a smaller quarterback, but super quick, lightning fast, amazing moves.
- 33:49SPEAKER_00: Um, obviously, hopefully Washington does a lot to protect him because you don't want your star quarterback to get hurt, and they will be playing from behind in a lot of games, so they will be able to be in some shootouts, especially against the Cowboys and the Eagles, because there won't be much defense, I don't think, on both sides.
- 34:07SPEAKER_00: Um but it that's gonna allow him to play some big games, and you know, he's used to that playing coming from LSU, uh, especially when the highest been last year.
- 34:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah, when I got Purdy, I was actually gunning for uh Jaden Daniels or Brock Purdy.
- 34:26SPEAKER_01: You know, they were hovering around the same spot.
- 34:29SPEAKER_01: Um at number 14, I have Caleb Williams.
- 34:36SPEAKER_01: Heisman Trophy winner that set a bunch of school records last year in passing and rushing.
- 34:42SPEAKER_01: He had 52 touchdowns in 2022 over 14 games, and 41 touchdowns in 2023 over 12 games.
- 34:50SPEAKER_01: That's crazy.
- 34:50SPEAKER_01: I know it's college, but that's crazy.
- 34:53SPEAKER_01: Uh with his two wide receivers being DJ Moore and Keenan Allen, that's a recipe for success.
- 35:00SPEAKER_01: And then he has DeAndre Swift and Cole Komet as a safety valve.
- 35:03SPEAKER_01: And those guys are solid, they're good football players.
- 35:06SPEAKER_01: Cole Komet's actually, you know, a sneaky good football player.
- 35:08SPEAKER_01: And DeAndre Swift, we've all seen what he can do when he stays healthy.
- 35:12SPEAKER_01: So he could easily be in the top 10 this year if that offense falls in sync and really gets going.
- 35:17SPEAKER_01: And they have an improved offensive line that actually looked pretty good last year.
- 35:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 35:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I can definitely see that.
- 35:26SPEAKER_00: Um for myself though, uh, for my number 14th uh overall quarterback, I do have Dak Prescott.
- 35:38SPEAKER_00: I know he came in at number uh six last year in the top 10 as far as scoring.
- 35:44SPEAKER_00: Um I mentioned a little bit ago, I think he's he takes a step back this year.
- 35:48SPEAKER_00: It's a contract year.
- 35:50SPEAKER_00: Um he he doesn't have his uh damn many weapons.
- 35:53SPEAKER_00: CeeDee just got paid, maybe he takes it easy because he got his money.
- 35:58SPEAKER_00: Um terrible running backs.
- 36:00SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be a terrible year for the Cowboys.
- 36:03SPEAKER_00: I can already see the misery happening, and uh unfortunately I'm gonna be uh laughing over here.
- 36:10SPEAKER_00: So I apologize, Cowboys fans, but I I can see this coming.
- 36:14SPEAKER_00: So just don't be surprised when it happens, and and you're gonna say I'm hating, but you know, I'm seriously looking at it like your team is ass.
- 36:23SPEAKER_00: So, you know, and that's unfortunately the truth.
- 36:26SPEAKER_00: But CD is the man, uh, but he can't throw himself the ball, so unfortunately lost there.
- 36:32SPEAKER_01: I disagree with some of that take, but uh, I mean you make some solid points.
- 36:37SPEAKER_01: Uh I think you make more points uh about Dak as an individual than the team as a whole.
- 36:43SPEAKER_01: They still have the you know really good defense, too.
- 36:46SPEAKER_00: Um they yeah, but they lost to Ron Bland, and uh Trevon Dave's been getting cooked all training camp.
- 36:53SPEAKER_01: So we'll see.
- 36:54SPEAKER_01: We'll have to wait and see.
- 36:56SPEAKER_01: Um now at number 15, I've got my boy Kirk Cousins.
- 37:01SPEAKER_01: You know I love him.
- 37:05SPEAKER_01: Before he got hurt last year, I know, I know.
- 37:07SPEAKER_01: Everyone's got out got him outside the top 20, but I don't care.
- 37:12SPEAKER_01: He is on a new team.
- 37:14SPEAKER_01: Before he got hurt last year, Cousins was the number one fantasy quarterback in the league for like six weeks straight.
- 37:20SPEAKER_01: He's always been a solid quarterback, he's always been a very fun and reliable fantasy quarterback.
- 37:26SPEAKER_01: And I think Drake London and B.
- 37:28SPEAKER_01: John Robinson are gonna benefit in a huge way with Kirk Cousins leading the Falcons.
- 37:33SPEAKER_01: Um, still not sure about Kyle Pitts.
- 37:36SPEAKER_01: We'll we'll have to wait and see.
- 37:39SPEAKER_01: But I love Kirk Cousins.
- 37:41SPEAKER_01: I think that's going to be a completely different team this year.
- 37:45SPEAKER_01: And I know there's questions about their offensive line, but their offensive line compared to last year looks really good.
- 37:53SPEAKER_00: For my number 15 and final player to round out the top 15 quarterbacks, I have Mr.
- 38:00SPEAKER_00: Trevor Lawrence for the Daxville Jaguars.
- 38:06SPEAKER_00: Reason being he just got a couple new weapons.
- 38:09SPEAKER_00: He has Gabe Davis on the outside this offseason.
- 38:13SPEAKER_00: Obviously, uh Calvin Ridley is gone, so they replaced him to Gabe Davis.
- 38:18SPEAKER_00: Uh, they went ahead and uh added some offensive linemen there.
- 38:22SPEAKER_00: Uh Travis Etienne's coming back, and they still have uh, of course, Christian Kirk will finally be coming back.
- 38:29SPEAKER_00: That's the other weapon because they lost him for the second half of the season, and then they still have Evan Ingram on the outside.
- 38:36SPEAKER_00: So uh I think that with all that being said, they should be back in a good place, and then they drafted that rookie Brian Robinson Jr.
- 38:44SPEAKER_00: So I think that's gonna be their new number one uh because he does a little bit of everything.
- 38:48SPEAKER_00: Um he was the second guy over there at LSU that Jaden Daniels was throwing through.
- 38:53SPEAKER_00: So hopefully he does have all the talent that he looks to have.
- 38:57SPEAKER_00: Um, but only time will tell.
- 39:00SPEAKER_00: So but I think because Trevor Trevor Lawrence did throw for over 4,000 yards, he had a down season at 16 points a game.
- 39:08SPEAKER_00: I could see him coming back and having a better season uh under that Doug Peterson offense.
- 39:14SPEAKER_01: I totally agree with everything you're saying, and I've I've had him in past years on my fantasy team.
- 39:20SPEAKER_01: He's a very reliable player for the most part.
- 39:22SPEAKER_01: He's gonna have a couple games where he lets you down, but overall, he's a producer and he can run the ball too.
- 39:29SPEAKER_01: You know, he can sneak and get you some yards here and there, and even sneak into the end zone.
- 39:33SPEAKER_01: He did have a down the year last year, um, but he was, you know, the whole team was marred by injuries, and now he's got a healthy squad back.
