  days before the hearings that Spanish translation services

  would be provided during the hearings, and on the FAA

  webpage, which details spacex's Boca Chica facilities, the

  summary of their draft environmental review, which is

  written public. Comments in a presentation,

  given during the fááá's public hearing were posted in English

  and Spanish, but the Spanish version were posted after the
• 1:09

  protected Reserve, so, very Wetland, there's a lot of spacer

  on there. That's not being used by SpaceX,

  so I can see where they want to expand their facility.

  Now, this is about the valley organizers that have criticized

  spacex's place in the reserves in the past two, and they've had
• 2:46
  several test launches that have ended and explosions and they've
• 2:50
  sent debris from these explosions.

  All the way to South Padre Island, South Padre Island is

  between five and seven miles away during these explosions

  parts of Starships have exploded and launched themselves to South
• 3:07
  Padre. Eyelid little pieces of the

  Starship, those things are made out of stainless steel.

  So, those pieces are possibly harmful to people and the

  environment and also other species that live in that area.

  The FAA is less than a week away from potentially deciding

  spacex's launch plans in the near future June 13th. 2022 is

  the day that we're looking into for the Starship facility to get

  the go-ahead for the the environmental review for

  Starbase down there. So if the FAA decides to issue

  an environmental impact statement, which is a Thorough
• 3:53
  environmental is analysis. It could take years to complete

  at Starbase SpaceX wants to push this launch as fast as possible.

  June 13th. The FAA has delayed posting

  their decision several times. Since December of 2021.

  And there's 17,000 plus written comments and changes that SpaceX

  is made to the plans to kind of push this along.

  And it seems like if this goes through if these people have

  their way and they kind of stop this for now and allow the

  Spanish-speaking Community. A Brownsville in the surrounding

  area to have their voice heard. We could be months away from

  Even get the go-ahead for the environmental review.

  They also have to do a flight review.

  There's a danger review, the FAA has to clear them for a flight

  goes through it's possible that they are already done at the

  cape. So there's a possibility we

  might not even see a launch until 2023 of Starship.

  their demands. They want to restart the entire

  license review process to include Spanish language access

  documents such as the environmental assessment in

  Spanish and in a manner identical to notices and

  documents published in English to issue.

  Publication of public meeting notices at least 30 days prior

  to the scheduled public hearing and meeting date.

  They want to publish 17,000 comments that were submitted

  electronically during the public comment period.

  And they have done that provide professional interpretation

  services at public meetings as well.

  They want to consult with the the local tribes Herbs near

  Brownsville because they are the native people of the region

  whose ancestral and unseated lands include Boca Chica Beach

  and a surrounding areas. They want to conduct a

  comprehensive environmental impact statement of current and
• 9:37
  future SpaceX operations. And they want to consult with
• 9:42
  the Mexican Government regarding the construction and operation
• 9:45
  of the SpaceX facility because the Mexican Town of Matamoros is
• 9:50
  a sister Community to Brownsville Texas and the to
• 9:53
  share and are shed. They demand that all the permits
• 9:57
  and licenses currently issued a SpaceX on behalf of the FAA be

  rescinded and denied because it is clear the operations have
• 10:04
  caused a rep rebuild damage to wildlife in the Rio Grande
• 10:09
