- 0:00Speaker 1: Mister New York here's more Marks alone on seven to
- 0:04Speaker 1: ten wor Well. Yeah, great broadcaster, number one TV anchor
- 0:09Speaker 1: for decades. Bill O'Reilly, number one best selling non fiction
- 0:13Speaker 1: author on Earth, got one of the hottest podcasts in
- 0:16Speaker 1: America called We'll Do It Live. You should check that
- 0:18Speaker 1: out every week. And I take a look at his
- 0:20Speaker 1: YouTube channel. Great stuff there, and everything is at Bill
- 0:23Speaker 1: O'Reilly dot com. You get a link to everything there
- 0:26Speaker 1: Bill O'Reilly dot com. Bill O'Reilly, how you doing.
- 0:30Speaker 2: I'm exhausted look at all the stuff that I'm doing here.
- 0:33Speaker 2: I'm almost like you.
- 0:34Speaker 1: You just went on tour Europe. You're back. That's good
- 0:38Speaker 1: to hear.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Yeah. I wasn't a tour, as a little vacation in Ireland,
- 0:43Speaker 2: and then I went over to London to do a
- 0:45Speaker 2: special for NewsNation on the immigration that's out of control,
- 0:50Speaker 2: and it certainly is there and what effect it's having
- 0:54Speaker 2: on the people in Great Britain and when we'll come here.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Will that situation arrive in America? It would if Kamala
- 1:06Speaker 2: Harris were president, There's no doubt in my mind, and
- 1:09Speaker 2: I'm not saying that in the partisan point of view,
- 1:12Speaker 2: but she would not have stopped the unfettered immigration coming
- 1:18Speaker 2: into this country, and Trump has. That's a big plus
- 1:21Speaker 2: for Trump. But of course the economy is starting to
- 1:24Speaker 2: overrive that now.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Yeah, economy's not that bad. I know, gas prices are up,
- 1:29Speaker 1: but there's still below Biden levels, and all the economic
- 1:32Speaker 1: indicator's numbers are good. We're grown at four percents.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Yeah, but here's here's the equation. Most Americans are in debt.
- 1:44Speaker 2: And when you're in debt, you struggle just to pay
- 1:51Speaker 2: the bills, and if your bills go up, you get
- 1:55Speaker 2: worse in debt. And that's what got people spooked. So there,
- 1:59Speaker 2: I'm a money to begin with. And they were operating
- 2:04Speaker 2: at a level of three dollars a gallon for gas
- 2:07Speaker 2: and then food costs they had gotten used to after COVID.
- 2:11Speaker 2: But both of those things have spiked, and they're angry
- 2:14Speaker 2: and they are sinking deeper into debt, and that's the
- 2:18Speaker 2: threat to the Republican Party.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Yeah. Hey, these Democrats, where do they come up with
- 2:24Speaker 1: these characters? From Plattner to tul Rico. Where did they
- 2:29Speaker 1: come up with these people?
- 2:32Speaker 2: That's a very good question. Does there seem to be
- 2:34Speaker 2: any vetting going on? In the Democratic Party about who
- 2:38Speaker 2: is the is qualified to run for Congress or the Senator,
- 2:43Speaker 2: even local races. It's not unique to the Democratic Party.
- 2:49Speaker 2: I mean, we had Santos out of my district here
- 2:52Speaker 2: on Long Island, who you know, the guy was ridiculous.
- 2:56Speaker 2: But there seems to be a trend. The loudest voice
- 2:59Speaker 2: gets the most attention. And these people are progressives beyond control.
- 3:06Speaker 2: I mean Los Angeles, you go there a lot to
- 3:09Speaker 2: la not anymore. Yeah, I used to go really three
- 3:15Speaker 2: times a year. I hate going out there now and
- 3:17Speaker 2: I used to love it. The city is going right
- 3:20Speaker 2: down the drain, worse than New York and Karen Bass,
- 3:25Speaker 2: the mayor, is going to be re elected. So you
- 3:31Speaker 2: look at the voters out in Los Angeles, the second
- 3:33Speaker 2: largest city in the country, and you go thro all
- 3:36Speaker 2: ac you you can see with your own eyes that
- 3:39Speaker 2: this woman is destroying your city and you want that.
- 3:43Speaker 2: You think anarchy is good and it's inexplicable that people
- 3:50Speaker 2: are voting progressive. But if you look at the roster,
- 3:55Speaker 2: that's what the Democratic Party is now putting out there.
- 3:57Speaker 2: They feel that they have momentum in this area. And
- 4:03Speaker 2: you know, November will tell because what direction it is going,
- 4:09Speaker 2: in no doubt about that, but for now it's pretty frightening.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Yeah, so what does go on in the mind of
- 4:16Speaker 1: a Democratic voter. They see it's a disaster La Chicago,
- 4:20Speaker 1: and they keep voting for the same party, the same crazies.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Why do they do it over an avain?
- 4:25Speaker 2: Yeah, it's grand again. I don't know that. The big
- 4:28Speaker 2: money from the unions, there's a lot to do with it.
- 4:32Speaker 2: So in Los Angeles there's a huge union it's back
- 4:37Speaker 2: in bass and they can buy TV spots tell everybody
- 4:42Speaker 2: how great she is, that if you don't vote for her,
- 4:45Speaker 2: you're a racist. You know, all as garbage. And also
- 4:49Speaker 2: in California, the voting turnout is usually very low. Yeah,
- 4:55Speaker 2: this is a place like New York where a lot
- 4:57Speaker 2: of people are involved in politics and they pay attention.
- 5:01Speaker 2: The New York Posts had to move out there because
- 5:03Speaker 2: there was no local newspaper covering anything in California. Nothing, zero, zilch.
- 5:10Speaker 2: So the New York Post has now established a beachhead
- 5:14Speaker 2: called the California Posts. Of course conservative, but you have
- 5:19Speaker 2: a when you have you know, hundreds of millions of
- 5:23Speaker 2: dollars by television spots, and there are a lot of
- 5:26Speaker 2: voters who don't know anything, and I mean that quite literally.
- 5:29Speaker 2: They don't know anything. You can win with that.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Wow, Hey, bill a right, you're a basketball fan. Are
- 5:37Speaker 1: you going to the Knicks game tomorrow night?
- 5:39Speaker 2: I'm not going tomorrow night. I don't have the eighty
- 5:42Speaker 2: thousand dollars that have caused me to get a seat.
- 5:45Speaker 2: It's so crazy, but I'm happy to the Knicks and
- 5:50Speaker 2: the city. And if you look at the history of
- 5:53Speaker 2: the Knicks, I think it's the first time in twenty
- 5:56Speaker 2: two years they've been in the finals. My god, it's
- 5:58Speaker 2: like the Mets. So we're uh, you know. And I
- 6:03Speaker 2: don't like this Wemby guy. I don't like the seven
- 6:06Speaker 2: foot three guy on San Antonio. He's throwing the elbows around,
- 6:10Speaker 2: he's knocking people down. I mean, come on, I'm really
- 6:16Speaker 2: pulling hard.
- 6:16Speaker 1: For the next yeah. So uh yeah. And the president
- 6:20Speaker 1: will come to the first time ever an NBA championship president,
- 6:24Speaker 1: and I imagine Mom Donnie will be there. Maybe they'll
- 6:26Speaker 1: end up talking to each other.
- 6:28Speaker 2: I don't know if Man Dommie is gonna go because
- 6:31Speaker 2: the money is too big and he doesn't want to
- 6:34Speaker 2: be associated with that big money. So anybody going in
- 6:37Speaker 2: the that game, the playoff games, you can let the
- 6:40Speaker 2: pony up thousands and thousands of dollars, even if you
- 6:42Speaker 2: sit in the rafters. And I'm not sure man DOMI
- 6:46Speaker 2: wants to be in with that crowd. But Trump says
- 6:51Speaker 2: he's gonna go to game five. Let's see two to
- 6:57Speaker 2: He's going to go down the road. He's not going
- 6:59Speaker 2: to go to the opening games, Game three maybe, and
- 7:04Speaker 2: he'll get a mixed reception, that's for sure.
- 7:07Speaker 1: So hey, President Trump, that fund to pay back people
- 7:12Speaker 1: that were victims of weaponized government the Biden administration looks
- 7:15Speaker 1: like he's going to drop that whole idea. You know
- 7:18Speaker 1: this guy's mind better than anybody. You wrote the book
- 7:21Speaker 1: on him. What does that mean that he's going to
- 7:23Speaker 1: just drop it? He does give up on things sometimes,
- 7:25Speaker 1: doesn't he.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean I didn't even cover the story because
- 7:29Speaker 2: I knew it was a fable fab l a. I
- 7:33Speaker 2: love that word. It never would have gotten out through Congress.
- 7:37Speaker 2: And why waste your time when you have you know,
- 7:40Speaker 2: stuff like iron and putin is you know, saber rattling again.
- 7:46Speaker 2: I knew that wasn't going to happen. And the president.
- 7:51Speaker 2: He enjoys, you know, terrorizing his opposition by throwing his
- 7:56Speaker 2: stuff out there. It's a it's a hobby for him.
- 7:59Speaker 2: He likes it, and that's right as it. Yeah, but
- 8:02Speaker 2: there was nobody, no serious person ever thought this was
- 8:04Speaker 2: going to happen.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Hey, talk about sixty minutes from there's been like a bloodbath,
- 8:08Speaker 1: cleaning house sixty minutes. Apparently they had the meeting with
- 8:11Speaker 1: the new boss yesterday and Scott Pelly got up and
- 8:14Speaker 1: told the guy off in front of everybody. Will Scott
- 8:17Speaker 1: Pelly be there in three months?
- 8:20Speaker 2: I don't think so. You really can't be as militant
- 8:23Speaker 2: as Pelly. You got to understand where he's coming from.
- 8:28Speaker 2: So all of his reaction coming out of CBS News,
- 8:31Speaker 2: not just sixty minutes, shows you how dominant the left
- 8:35Speaker 2: wing culture was inside that organization. Now, when I worked
- 8:38Speaker 2: there under Dan Rather, it was left wing, and I
- 8:43Speaker 2: write about that a little bit in my new book,
- 8:45Speaker 2: which will be out in September call Confronting America What
- 8:48Speaker 2: has to Change? But CBS has always been a left
- 8:52Speaker 2: wing network. It's not crazy left like MS or one
- 8:56Speaker 2: of those, but the culture is, you know, better be
- 9:00Speaker 2: a liberal or you're not going to get promoted. I
- 9:03Speaker 2: don't believe a lot of this reporting that you're seeing
- 9:06Speaker 2: comes on the internet with anonymous source based. But Pelly
- 9:10Speaker 2: from the beginning hates Donald Trump, loathes him. And you
- 9:17Speaker 2: know you can, as a journalist go in. You've got
- 9:20Speaker 2: to recuse yourself from any story that you're emotionally involved in,
- 9:25Speaker 2: and Pelly didn't do that. He used his power in
- 9:28Speaker 2: sixty minutes to try to run down Trump, and everybody
- 9:31Speaker 2: knows that's true. So now Pelley's not gonna be able
- 9:34Speaker 2: to do that anymore, and he's not happy about it.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Neither are a lot of his cohorts, like what's her name,
- 9:42Speaker 2: the older uh Leslie Stall, I mean, and they're not
- 9:49Speaker 2: happy about the change. They want to be a left
- 9:52Speaker 2: wing network and it looks like they're not going to
- 9:55Speaker 2: be allowed to spout their ideology. And it's cleverly disguised,
- 9:59Speaker 2: but it's there. I did a segment last night on
- 10:02Speaker 2: this stupid prison story that Sharon Alfonsi did and led
- 10:07Speaker 2: to her dismissal. I mean, she didn't recover that. She
- 10:10Speaker 2: did not cover that story. Honestly, she did have one
- 10:15Speaker 2: person explaining how homeland security makes decisions about asylum seekers
- 10:22Speaker 2: and why this prison existed in Al Salvador in the
- 10:24Speaker 2: first place. Not one. I mean, that's that's ridiculous. All
- 10:31Speaker 2: she did was stack the deck. But Trump is terrible.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Trump is a torturer. Poor kid got deported. He never
- 10:38Speaker 2: did anything in his life, which I don't believe he
- 10:41Speaker 2: had tattoos up and down on gang's signs. But is
- 10:44Speaker 2: that they come in the middle of the night and
- 10:47Speaker 2: force those on them. Yeah, I mean, sat look, I
- 10:51Speaker 2: know what the game is. I don't believe a lot
- 10:54Speaker 2: of the reporting that comes out, particularly when Saint Pelly
- 10:59Speaker 2: screamed at the guy at his boss and stuff like that.
- 11:02Speaker 2: That doesn't seem like, well, Kelly was passive aggressive, that's
- 11:05Speaker 2: how they all are.
- 11:06Speaker 1: But it seems there's audio of Kelly. Somebody recorded it,
- 11:09Speaker 1: so we haven't heard it, but Axios claims.
- 11:11Speaker 2: They have the audio, so well, let's hear it.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Yeah, well, Bill, O'Reilly great talk and you're glad you're back.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Everybody and check out the podcast Will Do It Live.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Is it a new episode coming out this week?
- 11:23Speaker 2: Right? Yeah? Victor Davis Hanson.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Oh I love him, he's great.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Oh yeah, you're gonna like this. One because we get
- 11:29Speaker 2: into the progressive movement, how dangerous it is. And it
- 11:32Speaker 2: goes back to your first question to me today. Yeah,
- 11:35Speaker 2: so how is this happening inside the Democratic Party? And
- 11:40Speaker 2: Hanson has a very very good take on how these
- 11:44Speaker 2: progressives have really taken over the party. Yeah. So that
- 11:48Speaker 2: will drop on Thursday, and you know it's I just
- 11:53Speaker 2: got a plaque from YouTube telling me that I got
- 11:56Speaker 2: two million subscribers or whatever. But we're real happy it's
- 11:59Speaker 2: doing well. I don't live in that world, so I
- 12:01Speaker 2: don't know YouTube from TikTok. I don't know what's going on.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Oh it's great. Well, everybody check out Bill O'Reilly's YouTube channel.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Great stuff there. You can get the podcast, we'll do
- 12:09Speaker 1: it live, and you can get the TV show, the column.
