- 0:00Speaker 1: I was going on as Romeo. We're almost to the weekend.
- 0:02What'd you miss today? It's Thursday. We talked about things
- 0:06you'll never know. The National Street Rod Association is going on.
- 0:09The car show's happening at the fairgrounds. We're gonna find
- 0:11out what's happening there, and we'll talk a little bit
- 0:13about you.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Has your type changed over time? Has while? Has life
- 0:19jaded you and made you like a different type of person?
- 0:21We'll find out. Let's go all right, let's talk about
- 0:24how your animals ended up with their name.
- 0:27Speaker 1: I was thinking about this the other day because I
- 0:30got this silly cat and somebody actually asked me. Now
- 0:34I've told you guys, this is story. Yeah, this cat
- 0:37ended up my house, showing up at the front yard.
- 0:40I showed up at the porch.
- 0:42Speaker 2: I fed it.
- 0:43Speaker 1: No, I didn't feed it the first night, showed up
- 0:45the porch, left for a little wall, came back. A
- 0:49couple of days went by, I kept coming back to
- 0:51my front door on my port, so finally I just
- 0:54picked it up, through it in the backyard and not listen.
- 0:58Speaker 2: But a friend of.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Mine was asking me the other day how because I
- 1:00call it homeless, and how how he got his name
- 1:04because he was homeless until he showed up. Now I
- 1:06got a home, and so that's how this cat.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Ended up with its name homeless. And some of the
- 1:13ways you come up.
- 1:14Speaker 1: With your dogs or your cats, your animals' names, right,
- 1:17how did they end up with their name? Usually by
- 1:18how they look or how you ended up with them.
- 1:21So what is the name of your your animals? And
- 1:26how did they get their name? Are they four two, five,
- 1:28four or seven to seven? Did your pets get their names?
- 1:32I mean, do they got some crazy names or do
- 1:34you just name them after.
- 1:36Speaker 2: I don't know, give them human names.
- 1:37Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:38Speaker 2: What'd you do A four two five four seven to seven? Gord?
- 1:41Speaker 4: Not?
- 1:41Speaker 2: What's going on?
- 1:41Speaker 4: Tell me?
- 1:42Speaker 5: Oh, this is coronavirus stalker?
- 1:43Speaker 2: Hey, what's going on?
- 1:45Speaker 6: Hey?
- 1:45Speaker 5: You're talking about pet names?
- 1:47Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:48Speaker 5: Okay, I got two dolls. I rescue them. Let me
- 1:51put it out there. I rescue them about three years ago,
- 1:55and I well, I didn't know their names, so I
- 1:57rescue them and I close it. I'm like, on faced, ook, hey,
- 1:59I got your dogs.
- 2:00Speaker 1: He wants your dogs.
- 2:01Speaker 5: Nobody never tame them.
- 2:02Speaker 7: They tugged on my heart.
- 2:03Speaker 5: So I ended up keeping them, got in their shots,
- 2:05give them their heir chips. Well, one name is Chiquita.
- 2:08One name is Princess. Oh my god, oh my god, Chiquita.
- 2:13Speaker 7: Oh we have another dog. Chikita had a baby and
- 2:15his name is Rocky.
- 2:17Speaker 5: Well, let me tell you about Princess and Shiita. First, Chikita,
- 2:20this little she's so tiny.
- 2:22Speaker 8: She's a digger.
- 2:24Speaker 9: She will dig.
- 2:25Speaker 5: If I put in the backyard, she will dig.
- 2:29Speaker 2: How did she get her name?
- 2:32Speaker 5: I got because she's so tiny.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Oh, okay, okay, So I don't care about a personality.
- 2:38I didn't ask your dog's personality.
- 2:39Speaker 4: Eyes.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Now she got her name.
- 2:41Speaker 5: Well, she got her name because she's so tiny, okay, Tita,
- 2:45and then Princess.
- 2:46Speaker 10: I gave Princess her name because when.
- 2:48Speaker 5: I let her in the house, she'll literally just sit
- 2:51by me and she'll sit down. She won't run around
- 2:53like a princess. You won't move like she'll be like,
- 2:55let me throw me outside there You.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Go, all right, go to work, all right? A four
- 3:03two four seven to seven? Like I said, how did
- 3:07how did your animals get their names? Talking about your pets, man,
- 3:11some of you have pets that have unique names. Some
- 3:14of you have pets that they got a name based
- 3:16on some characteristic of them.
- 3:19Speaker 2: I mean, how did you name your dogs? Are your cats?
- 3:22Are your pets?
- 3:23Speaker 1: Already four two, four, seven to seven? Ego Morner Romeo. Okay.
- 3:29So we had a cat named Katie and she was
- 3:31named after my in laws dog who had just died.
- 3:36And then we had a cat named Oscar and he
- 3:39was really tough when he was a kitten, and Oscar
- 3:43is a tough name. Oh, Oscar, Way, that's a tough name.
- 3:47So that's how he got named. And then we had
- 3:50another cat named Gary, and he was always so serious
- 3:57when he was a kit and then we figured Gary
- 3:59is like a serious dude kind of name, kind a
- 4:03serious dude kind of name, so he became Gary. That's
- 4:11pretty funny, by the way, having a cat named Gary
- 4:14is uh yeah, that's pretty dang funny. Already four two, five,
- 4:19four or seven to seven. Ap rom My cat is
- 4:22named Stella Rose. When she was about a week or
- 4:26too old, the people who gave me the cat asked
- 4:28me what her name was going to be and I
- 4:32couldn't think of anything, but I had a few bottles
- 4:34of stellar rose in the kitchen. That was the first
- 4:39thing that came out. I came up with a man.
- 4:42Were you on that stellar rose when you were thinking
- 4:44about that cat's name? We're talking about your pets, how
- 4:48they get their names. I remember we had this when
- 4:51I lived on the reservation. My mom let me have
- 4:53a hamster. I named him Herman the Hamster. Have no
- 4:57idea why we had this cat that we used to
- 5:00called ghosts because it lived with us. I think live
- 5:04with us, but this cat uh lived with us. We
- 5:09call it ghosts because we never saw it. It would
- 5:11be like you'd catch it out of the corner of
- 5:12your eye running around because it only came in, only
- 5:16came in very rarely would come in. But it lived
- 5:19outside around the house, and so we'd see it. I
- 5:21think this cat lived for four hundred years, to be
- 5:23honest with you, because you just see glimpses of it,
- 5:25or you think you'd see glimpses of it now.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Yeah, we used to call her go Well.
- 5:29Speaker 1: We knew she was alive because she had all the
- 5:31food we left out for at least.
- 5:33Speaker 2: I think already four two or seven seven. What do
- 5:39we got here?
- 5:40Speaker 1: A rome bro It's funny you bring that up because
- 5:42my dad brought a dog home when we was kids,
- 5:47and we found him where he worked. It was it
- 5:50was tied up to a water spicket and the water
- 5:53was just running very slow so he could have water
- 5:55to drink. But my dad fed him his lunch and
- 6:00united him, oh and untied him.
- 6:03Speaker 2: But the dog never left his side, so he brought
- 6:06him home.
- 6:07Speaker 1: We talked about that we were going to name him,
- 6:11and my dad said, we're gonna name him Arvin because
- 6:15that's where he found him.
- 6:19Speaker 2: But that's what I say.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Isn't that the best name to give your animals, something
- 6:23that has a story behind it, you know.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Let's see here.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Hey, roam, My wife's family is a dog they named
- 6:33Asusia because she gets pregnant by the dogs in the neighborhood.
- 6:37Oh my god, what is with you guys?
- 6:42Speaker 2: Funny though?
- 6:43Speaker 9: That is?
- 6:45Speaker 1: That's pretty funny though, Oh my god. ALRIGHTY four two, five,
- 6:52four or seven to seven? And your pets get their names?
- 6:57Speaker 2: Talking about dog? Your animals? Man, how they get their name?
- 6:59What kind of story you got?
- 7:00Speaker 1: Alrighty four two five four seven to seven? Good morning Romeo.
- 7:04I feel like all this did at home. Moms have
- 7:07been waiting for this topic for a long time. Most
- 7:10of these women use their pets as part of their accessories. Okay, hey,
- 7:19good morning rome Hey, I'm streaming from Lamore, California, the
- 7:22Naval Air Weapons Station. I took a homeless kitten home
- 7:28off the California Avenue. I named your Cali.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Oh that's cool, Yeah, that's cool.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Okay for four seven to seven, we're talking about naming
- 7:43your pets.
- 7:44Speaker 2: How'd they get their name? Good morning? How what's going on?
- 7:46Speaker 11: Good morning Romeo?
- 7:47Speaker 2: Hey, what's up?
- 7:50Speaker 5: So I had well.
- 7:51Speaker 11: I have one main dog.
- 7:53Speaker 10: Her name is copeanew.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Wait, hold on, hold on, wait, hold on, let's start
- 7:57with this.
- 7:58Speaker 1: You have one main dog, have a side piece dog
- 8:01or what?
- 8:02Speaker 12: Okay, so my other two paths.
- 8:08Speaker 2: I was gonna check. I had a side a side
- 8:10dog somewhere.
- 8:14Speaker 10: Nobody about that one because okay, okay, yeah, she's our
- 8:19main one.
- 8:19Speaker 11: She's six years old.
- 8:21Speaker 13: Her name is Copish.
- 8:22Speaker 10: Now my other the other two of the path were U, Giovanni,
- 8:27Santi and Gucci.
- 8:29Speaker 7: So I named my dogs after.
- 8:31Speaker 10: Things I know I can't afford. That is funny that
- 8:40there's are personalities.
- 8:41Speaker 11: They are all they're all boots, they were all bogie.
- 8:45Speaker 10: Now she's Bougie, and the other two were boys and
- 8:48were being boys.
- 8:49Speaker 3: Those were some bogie.
- 8:50Speaker 4: Yeah, that is.
- 8:53Speaker 10: I name them after things we can't afford.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Well, then you're gonna have to name the next one
- 8:59Rabbi because those or expensiveness.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Gap Hey Rome.
- 9:09Speaker 1: When I was younger, I got a Chihuahua puppy from
- 9:11a neighbor. From a neighbor, I wanted to name him
- 9:14what he looked like, something fun like carmel or cookie.
- 9:19He was tan And all of a sudden it hit me,
- 9:24man's name is gonna be My man's name is gonna
- 9:27be Tanner, Tanner.
- 9:32Speaker 2: That's kind of funny.
- 9:33Speaker 6: Uh.
- 9:34Speaker 2: When we got here, Oh my gosh, this a long story.
- 9:37Speaker 1: My sister in law rescued this little white poodle mix
- 9:41she found on a ranch. The poor thing had clearly
- 9:44been through a lot. It had even been hit by
- 9:47a car at some point, but somehow survived. When she
- 9:50found her, he always dirty, covered in mud, and full
- 9:53of ticks.
- 9:54Speaker 2: So she took her in, cleaned her up, gave her
- 9:57a whole new life.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Now she's an indoor dog, always groom fluffy, looking fancy.
- 10:03She basically went from rags to riches overnight. That's why
- 10:06I named her Cardi B because she came from the
- 10:09hood and now she's living the good life. That's funny.
- 10:14But one day we're at my mother in law's house
- 10:17and she left the She left her outside for a bit.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Next thing you know, she finds her rolling around in
- 10:22the mud again. She was like, I just bathe you.
- 10:26Speaker 1: I couldn't help but laugh and said, see, you can't
- 10:29take You can take the dog out the hood, but
- 10:31you can't take the hood out.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Of the dog.
- 10:35Speaker 1: The dog always goes back to It always goes back
- 10:38to its hood ways when it's by itself around dirt
- 10:41and by summer's coming, Man, it's time to get back
- 10:46in shape. Well, you should always be in shape for
- 10:49health purposes, but hey, you know, you gotta do what's
- 10:51best for you. Bring Dicky and Molly on a fitness
- 10:55it's across across.
- 10:56Speaker 2: It's what is it again, Dickie training? Cross training?
- 11:01Speaker 1: Oh, it is cross training, cross training, stretching, strength and
- 11:05conditioning a workout. It's still how do I say this,
- 11:10with all these trends and fads that come along, this
- 11:13is still just basically eating healthy, working out, doing things
- 11:18that mobility core things.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Just the things that we use every day.
- 11:22Speaker 4: Yeah, it's exactly right.
- 11:23Speaker 9: It's a high intensity, functional fitness that we combine you know,
- 11:27obviously strength and conditioning program into it, so you get
- 11:29a full body workout, not only just the lifting, not
- 11:32only just cardio. We're going to come on together with
- 11:34some core training to get your overall health and a
- 11:39realistic goal of a life goal that's something you actually
- 11:42use on a day to day basis.
- 11:44Speaker 1: That's what I wanted to I wanted to point out
- 11:46our ones you to point out was it something that
- 11:48you do picking up groceries, getting out of a chair,
- 11:51all these different things that we do, uh, just regularly
- 11:55that you know, some of you guys have a hard
- 11:56time doing it because we're out of shape, but this
- 11:58is this workout is just perfect for daily lifestyle, right right.
- 12:03Speaker 9: So yeah, it's not just you know, it's phenomenal to
- 12:06see somebody do a handstand walking handstand, but there's not
- 12:12a one point in my life that I have to
- 12:14do that to survive. So other things, you know, getting
- 12:17out of the chair, you know, picking up you know,
- 12:19something heavy from the floor, you know, aka deadlift kind
- 12:22of type.
- 12:22Speaker 4: But you know, it's just a more functional of you know,
- 12:25the day.
- 12:25Speaker 9: To day life to improve your oh yeah, your quality
- 12:28of life, especially as you know, if you're getting older
- 12:30and things like that. There's nothing more than muscle mass
- 12:34that helps you out.
- 12:34Speaker 1: I do want to talk a little bit about that
- 12:36since you brought that. Uh, when it comes to getting
- 12:38a little older, they always say you should always lift
- 12:41some sort of weights. I mean, as you get older,
- 12:44you should keep your muscles active, not just I know
- 12:47walking is great and a lot of older people do that, but.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Just keep your muscles active.
- 12:52Speaker 1: One of the things that the gym, which we'll talk
- 12:53about a minute, is the different the different ways you
- 12:57can do stuff no matter what level you're at.
- 12:59Speaker 2: Correct different options.
- 13:00Speaker 1: So we'll get into that in a minute though, but
- 13:02I just want to talk about the fact that, you
- 13:04know what, you guys got to stay healthy. And I
- 13:06really think it's important to understand when you're just and
- 13:09it's going to sound really stupid, but just carrying groceries.
- 13:12You know, you're carrying a bag of dog food, You're
- 13:14carrying stuff that you have to lift. Maybe you have
- 13:17to move stuff around your house. I mean, these are
- 13:19all things that this everyday activities. Maybe you want to
- 13:23play with your kids, throw the ball around or whatever.
- 13:26Everyday activity is that you need to think about. Maybe
- 13:29you got to hold your kid at Disneyland on your
- 13:30shoulders for an hour and a half for the Disney
- 13:33parade or whatever.
- 13:36Speaker 4: Well you know what you eat, Yeah, I've been there.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's just you feel you feel healthier, you
- 13:42feel better because the activities that we do at the
- 13:45gym are every day activity, right, workouts that fit right
- 13:49into doing those things exactly. And nobody says you have
- 13:52to be a you know, a super athlete, but you
- 13:55can be in better shape every day.
- 13:57Speaker 4: Every day, all right.
- 13:58Speaker 9: So the gym classesses four days a week Monday to Thursday.
- 14:02Speaker 4: It's five classes a day.
- 14:03Speaker 9: There's five, six and eight thirty for the morning sessions,
- 14:06five and six at night. We limit the classes to
- 14:10twenty people max. It's fifteen minute sessions and everything's included.
- 14:16Speaker 4: You know, you wear a hot rate monitor when you
- 14:18go there. Equipment's all there and.
- 14:22Speaker 9: Most of the time, right now's percent of the time
- 14:24we don't share equipment and a partner workout, so everybody
- 14:28has their own space, everybody has own deals. So you know,
- 14:31those are those germophobes out there you're good. That's not
- 14:35a couple.
- 14:35Speaker 2: That's claustrophobic.
- 14:37Speaker 9: Yeah, I hate people, but somehow you you're still there. Yeah,
- 14:42So it's very motivating. It's it's not a session that
- 14:45you get lost in the crowd because everybody is doing
- 14:47the exact same thing together and you can copy somebody
- 14:50who's in front of you type kind of deal.
- 14:52Speaker 1: And once again, it's only fifteen minutes a day. It
- 14:55really you schedule it. You schedule it into your day
- 14:57just to get it done. Even if it's just too
- 15:00get it done and you've got excited about it, you
- 15:02hate it, whatever, it's just to get it done for
- 15:04your health.
- 15:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:05Speaker 9: And it's nice because you can always crash any class
- 15:08that we have through doing the day. There's not a
- 15:13you know, I know there are some some places out
- 15:14there that you have to reserve online two weeks and
- 15:17ahead kind of time. But if you don't make it out,
- 15:19you're out of luck. That's not that kind of deal.
- 15:21It's I want to make sure you guys get your
- 15:23workouts every day.
- 15:24Speaker 1: It's basically, if you are a member, you're a member,
- 15:29you have your spot of your regular class. If you
- 15:31miss your regular class for some reason, you can always
- 15:34get somewhere else, get into another class.
- 15:36Speaker 9: In the case that some everybody wasn't lazy, and everybody
- 15:39showed up, all twenty of them, and you're number twenty one,
- 15:42and I'll find you a spot somewhere.
- 15:44Speaker 4: It might be in the back, but I'll find you
- 15:45a spot, all right.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Molliana Fitness, Dicky, how they get hold you.
- 15:48Speaker 9: Six six one four four four three six three five
- 15:51or find me on Instagram on Molliana Fitness.
- 15:53Speaker 1: All right, let's get in shape, let's feel better about ourselves.
- 15:56That's why we bring Dicky in from Willianna Fitness Morning, Dicky,
- 15:59good morning.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Okay, let's talk about some of the classes.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Let's talk about it's a fifteen minute class, cross chaining class.
- 16:06It's pretty much functional fitness type exercises to get you
- 16:09ready for just everyday life.
- 16:12Speaker 2: What Let's talk about some of the workouts, just some
- 16:14of the exercises we do.
- 16:16Speaker 4: Yeah, so we do a lot of free weights.
- 16:18Speaker 9: I'm a big believer that, you know, barbelles are great
- 16:21when we do a couple of some of those, but
- 16:23I think free free weights, a lot of dumble works
- 16:25is better. It has stabilized a muscle usage more because
- 16:29you know, your left arm and the right arm is
- 16:31have two different strength and some people are better on
- 16:34the other side.
- 16:35Speaker 4: But you know, we do a lot of again, a
- 16:37lot of free weights we do.
- 16:38Speaker 9: You know, you know your basic strength training of like
- 16:40curls and chest presses to you know, applyometrics to cardio.
- 16:46Speaker 4: We do a little bit running. You know what I mean?
- 16:47Speaker 9: Running is like a tenth of a mile. Yeah, you
- 16:50know we're out doing like a fifteen like a ten
- 16:53k kind of deal.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Well, let's explain that real quick.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Just the way that it breaks down is when you
- 16:58get on you go to a tradition gym where you
- 17:00go you'll go run two or three miles and then
- 17:03you'll go do your workout and then or you'll do
- 17:06your workout and then you'll do well. The way Dicky's
- 17:09breaks things down is you might do some chest presses,
- 17:12some curls, and then run a tenth of a mile
- 17:15and that's round one, and it might be ten rounds,
- 17:17which creates that mile within a ten round segment as
- 17:21opposed to just running a whole mile at once, because
- 17:25sometimes that gets a little monotonous with it.
- 17:27Speaker 9: So let's say, for example, we we do a full
- 17:30body workout, right, and let's say I say today we're
- 17:33gonna do five hundred and fifty reps.
- 17:36Speaker 4: And one mile run.
- 17:38Speaker 9: Instantly your head goes that's crazy, right, But what if
- 17:42I tell you first round is going to be you know,
- 17:45ten chess presses, ten curls, you know ten you know,
- 17:49two sit ups, yeah, two squats and two step ups, right,
- 17:54and then we're gonna do that with ten rounds. One
- 17:56is going to go down by two the other the
- 17:58others are going to go up right, and then we
- 18:00do a tenth of a mile at the end of
- 18:02every single round.
- 18:03Speaker 4: Call.
- 18:03Speaker 9: By the end of it, you're gonna get five hundred
- 18:05and fifty reps a mile run.
- 18:07Speaker 4: But it's out. It's how you break it down.
- 18:09Speaker 9: And that's why you know, sometimes you know everybody, most
- 18:13people who is it, especially in a crossbit know like
- 18:15the Murph. The Murph is very hard because you run
- 18:17a full mile in the beginning, then the three hundred
- 18:19and the five hundred and then another mile. That's to
- 18:23most people, including myself, that's that's a lot of run. Yeah,
- 18:27it's a lot, especially on a short session. It's how
- 18:30you break it down. So anyway, but you also do
- 18:32a lot of We do a lot of core training,
- 18:34you know, we do a lot of things on TRX.
- 18:36We do a lot of you know, your basic planks
- 18:38and side planks, so we get everything done. So you've
- 18:43got to make sure that you can't you just stop
- 18:45the runner. You're not just the lifter. And everybody always
- 18:48misses core training in which we you know, invert down
- 18:52every single session of the day.
- 18:55Speaker 1: And one of the important things to understand is that, no,
- 18:59I just totally forgot I was gonna say, but.
- 19:03Speaker 2: I can't, well what what what I was going to
- 19:09I think I was.
- 19:09Speaker 1: What I was going to say, if I remember correctly now,
- 19:11was that it's all and everybody does different levels. So
- 19:15whatever level you are, you look at it and you go, okay,
- 19:18five hundred and fifty reps of whatever it is, right,
- 19:21But your level of doing five hundred and fifty reps
- 19:24might be only getting in three hundred and fifty reps
- 19:26at this point. At some point you'll get to the
- 19:29point where you're doing five hundred whatever. I'm just magical
- 19:32numbers here, And the amount of weight that you use
- 19:36changes as well. So what Dicky and I do totally
- 19:40different weights on certain exercises. And sometimes when you talk
- 19:44about the cardio, you got to understand if you're a
- 19:46little bit better at cardio and not so great at weights,
- 19:49you're not going to get left behind because hey, somebody
- 19:52might not be as good as cardio or might not
- 19:54be as good as you as cardio or weights or whatever.
- 19:57All I'm saying is you find works for you, and
- 20:01you get better at the things that don't work for you.
- 20:03Speaker 9: So the majority of our workout is based is based
- 20:06on intervals, right, It's based on time. You have x
- 20:09amount of time to do x amount of reps. And
- 20:12I actually created this probably ten years ago. I've been
- 20:16around for fifteen now is I had a client at
- 20:19one point he usedly, you have a just a running clock, right,
- 20:22like like a lot of a crossway gym.
- 20:24Speaker 4: They you have X amount of time to finish all
- 20:26the reps.
- 20:27Speaker 9: Well, I had a client that only finished three rounds
- 20:30out of their ten after the fifteen minutes. And I
- 20:33got me thinking of like why he only got there
- 20:36because he struggled for a long story short right on
- 20:39one exercise. And so now I said, okay, well, if
- 20:42you are terrible one thing, you only get a certain
- 20:45amount of time. Once that time expired, you go to
- 20:47the next one, so you're not stuck at something. And
- 20:49I think that's a lot of people that have a
- 20:51fear of getting left behind. It's like we gonna, I'm
- 20:53gonna if you only got two out of ten and
- 20:56that's literally all you can do. You get two out
- 20:59of ten, let's move on to the next one. Maybe
- 21:01the next one you get eight out of ten. Yeah, right,
- 21:04So it's it's not I don't want you to feel
- 21:07stuck on. You have a other parts of our body
- 21:11and other segment of fitness that you can attack and
- 21:14while working on getting better on certain things.
- 21:16Speaker 2: Yeah, because I can't do pull ups.
- 21:18Speaker 1: So if we did, if we did, Dicky just said,
- 21:20we got to do forty five pull ups, I would
- 21:21never finish. Ever, or if we had to do two
- 21:23pull ups, I would never finish.
- 21:24Speaker 2: But we can't do them.
- 21:25Speaker 4: You have aermission to do a jumping falls, yes, all right?
- 21:29Speaker 2: Well you Ona Fitness which number.
- 21:31Speaker 9: Six six, one, four, four, four, three sixty three five
- 21:33or five Instagram at Moliana Fitness Saturday.
- 21:36Speaker 2: All right, Dicky's here.
- 21:36Speaker 1: Mollianna Fitness cross training facility of fifty minute classes four
- 21:41days a week, Monday through Thursday.
- 21:44Speaker 4: Good morning, Dicky, Good morning.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Now we were telling you a little bit about some
- 21:47of the exercises, things that you need to do. It
- 21:49is a class setting, which I know some of you
- 21:51can be intimidated by a class sety, I would not
- 21:53be intimidated by these people that are at these classes.
- 21:56Some of them are most of them, almost all of
- 21:59them are great people, all kind of have the same
- 22:01goal in mind. All just want to be in better shape.
- 22:05Some of them are really really in shape, and they're
- 22:08usually the nicest ones, just because you know, they're not jerks.
- 22:14Speaker 12: We are.
- 22:15Speaker 4: We have a different crowd.
- 22:17Speaker 9: We you know, I love the crossbit gym where everybody
- 22:21has their shirt off kind of deal.
- 22:22Speaker 4: But that's just not that's not our vibe.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Nope.
- 22:25Speaker 4: We are more of a you know, late twenties and up.
- 22:29Yeah gym.
- 22:30Speaker 9: Yeah, it's a lot of functional fitness. I think it's
- 22:33when you get a little older. I think you realize that,
- 22:36you know, deadlifting six hundred pounds is not your topic agenda. Yeah,
- 22:42which is my top agenda when I was in my twenties.
- 22:44Speaker 6: But it's just stupid because you're in your twenties okay,
- 22:48but it's it's great, it's it's I don't know anybody
- 22:52has the has the deadlift six hundred pounds in their
- 22:55life for anything, but okay.
- 22:58Speaker 9: But you know it's it's a functional fitness jim where
- 23:03where if you do have how it's joke about this,
- 23:06but it's became more and more true every single day.
- 23:09If you're old, if you have injuries, if you're broken,
- 23:13you've got to come out of surgery, or you just
- 23:15recently become injured and you're very limited on things. There
- 23:19are so many different ways. In fact, this this month alone,
- 23:22I have somebody had a muscle tear, somebody had a
- 23:25broken leg, and three girls with problems with their shoulders
- 23:29and were able to manage to you know, change and
- 23:32modify all the workouts for that for all those five
- 23:37one at the same class.
- 23:38Speaker 6: Those are not gym injuries, by the way, injuries injuries
- 23:43because I don't want to assume any of thewise. So anyway,
- 23:47I do also want to say that.
- 23:50Speaker 1: More women for those of you that are you know,
- 23:53ladies out there there might be intimidated by a class setting. Uh,
- 23:56there's more women in these classes than there are men.
- 23:58Speaker 4: There are so half of kick these guys butt.
- 24:01Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Yeah, So there's no reason to not try it out
- 24:05and or be intimidated to try it out because it's
- 24:07a class setting and it's a it's a different class setting,
- 24:10it's weights, it's working out.
- 24:12Speaker 9: So it is now offer a week trial for every
- 24:14single person that wants to come come in and try
- 24:17it out, not only to see if the training is
- 24:19for you, but also you know, make sure the schedules
- 24:22works out and things.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Like that, and they like what they do because I'll
- 24:27give them the phone numberal quick and say six.
- 24:28Speaker 9: Six one four four four three six three five or
- 24:30find me on Instagram on moy on a fitness.
- 24:32Speaker 1: And you can text them as well as we want
- 24:34to talk to them calories. We want to One of
- 24:37the important things about either putting on weight or losing
- 24:41weight or building muscle is really knowing your calorie intake
- 24:45your calorie outtake, and the polar system that we use
- 24:48is a great way to do that. I know you
- 24:51guys got Apple watches and certain and different. If I
- 24:55don't know the bits a thing or whatever, or you
- 24:57use the calculator on the treadmill or the skier whatever
- 25:01you those are not as accurate and can really mess
- 25:04you up with what you're trying to do.
- 25:06Speaker 9: Right, So with our system, we know we have a
- 25:08polar polar and garment is too top one, right, but
- 25:12having an actual heart rate monitor on you is much
- 25:16different than having a watch, right, I have a watch too,
- 25:19don't think I don't. But combining that with nutrition program
- 25:25is like your two main goal to have to get
- 25:30it down because, believe it or not, working out is
- 25:33the easiest part. It's the other twenty three hours I
- 25:37don't see you is what kills you. And you know,
- 25:40especially the weekends that the three days I don't see
- 25:43you is what breaks everybody down. But if you have
- 25:45a plan of knowing how many calories you burn on
- 25:48a daily basis, we have a plan for that, right,
- 25:50depending how much weight you're trying to lose with the
- 25:53custom nutrition program.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Hold on, yeah, don't just focus on weight if you're young,
- 25:57if you're a guy trying to put on some muscle,
- 25:59you have to know how many how much nutrition you
- 26:01can eat, what type of food you can eat.
- 26:03Speaker 2: Things like goes both ways, doesn't it?
- 26:04Speaker 4: Oh? Absolutely?
- 26:06Speaker 9: In fact, in my fifteen years, gaining good weight is
- 26:11actually way harder than the losing weight. Losing weight, you
- 26:14just gotta you know minimum, you know, you gotta limit
- 26:16your eating and you got to know what you're you
- 26:18know your how much deficity you got to do well
- 26:21if you're trying to pack on muscles. I know, got
- 26:23a couple of guys been trying to gain weight. It's
- 26:26like having a Thanksgiving dinner every single meal.
- 26:29Speaker 1: I just want to point that out for people in
- 26:30absolutely there's there's It goes both ways depending on what
- 26:34you want to do.
- 26:36Speaker 2: So what are you miss it? We got the calories
- 26:37going to be focused on the calories, nutrition program, nutrition program.
- 26:42Speaker 9: I will sit down with you and you know, build
- 26:45up a meal plan based on your goal, based on
- 26:48what you like you know to eat.
- 26:51Speaker 4: That's a big, big.
- 26:52Speaker 9: Difference because there's nothing worse than eating something you don't
- 26:56like and get burned out really fast on it.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Okay, one last thing before we get you out of here, Dicky,
- 26:59I just want to mention for those of you that
- 27:01four days a week may not be enough. Dicky does
- 27:04put together stuff's Fridays and Saturdays, maybe some hiking or
- 27:07maybe a run on Friday, hike on Saturday. If you
- 27:11don't have any friends and you want to make some.
- 27:13There's a lot of people at this gym that don't
- 27:16have any friends and want to make them, and they
- 27:18all hang out together and they do different activities that
- 27:21are outside of the gym from an exercise standpoint, whether
- 27:24it be a high rocks or run, or a five
- 27:27k or ten k or whatever the case may be.
- 27:29There's a lot of opportunities to get involved with a
- 27:32group of people that may want to be fit or
- 27:35may want to work out just like you do.
- 27:37Speaker 9: Absolutely, yeah, we do a lot of you know, especially
- 27:40we focus a lot of endurance sports, so anything from
- 27:43a five k to you know, high rocks, spartan races, marathon,
- 27:48anything in between, even rock climbing. It once in a
- 27:50while we go through for just to change things up.
- 27:53You always have a group that will as well to
- 27:55go and you're never alone.
- 27:56Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, Dicky, give him the number again.
- 28:00Speaker 9: On four four four three six three five or finance
- 28:02Instagram on molaa fitness.
- 28:04Speaker 1: All right, Dickie will talk to you later. This is
- 28:06so stupid, but I gotta tell you guys. Anyways, I
- 28:09was at a.
- 28:11Speaker 2: Last week.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Got to go to a high school track meet and
- 28:14I was there and I was watching it, and I
- 28:17was thinking, after watching all these kids race and their
- 28:22times and everything, I was thinking. A couple of days later,
- 28:25I was thinking, Man, I wish I would. I'm never
- 28:28gonna know what it's like to be fast. When I
- 28:31was in school, I was never fast. I was never
- 28:34I'll never know what it's like to be fast. Ever,
- 28:38and I was thinking this kind of sat and then
- 28:40I started thinking about all the other things I'll never experience,
- 28:45Like I'll probably never experience what it's like to just
- 28:50have so much money that you never have to worry
- 28:52about paying a bill. I'll probably never know what it's
- 28:56like to hit a hole in one on a golf course.
- 28:59I mean, that's those things are still possible, But like
- 29:03the things I'll never I'll never experience what it's like
- 29:05to be tall because I'm short. I'll never be fast.
- 29:09I'll never be tall. I'll never know what it's like
- 29:12to be tall and good looking. I gotta hang out
- 29:15with these guys that are tall and good looking, and
- 29:19many we live a whole We live two totally different
- 29:23lives when we're together, even though we're in the same
- 29:26place hanging out.
- 29:27Speaker 2: I have two totally different experiences. But I was just
- 29:31thinking that was funny.
- 29:31Speaker 1: There's just these things that you'll never experience no matter what,
- 29:36and I it's kind of crazy to do you guys
- 29:39ever think about that? Do you ever think about the
- 29:41things that you'll never know or you'll never experience in
- 29:45your life already?
- 29:47Speaker 2: Four two, five, four or seven seven? I mean, some
- 29:49of them, like to being rich.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Could still possibly happen, maybe likely know, but maybe you know.
- 29:56Speaker 12: The.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Hitting a hole in one on a golf court, that's
- 30:00still a possibility. Likely, maybe not, but a possibility. But
- 30:07you know, like being tall, I'll never know what's like
- 30:09to be tall and good looking. I'll never know what
- 30:12it's like to run fast. I mean, those are things
- 30:15that are just never gonna happen. I'm trying to think
- 30:18of some of the other things that will just never
- 30:20happen already four two, four, seven to seven? Do you
- 30:24guys ever think about that stuff but you'll never experience
- 30:27because it's just not possible. So I was at a
- 30:30track meet the other day and I was watching these
- 30:31kids and how fast they are, and I was thinking, man,
- 30:35even when I was in high school, I was never
- 30:36that fast. I've never been fast ever. I've never been tall,
- 30:39I can't dunkle basketball. Those are things that I will
- 30:43never experience. And I was just laughing with my friends
- 30:45because I said, Man, I wish one day I could
- 30:47experience being fast, but I never.
- 30:49Speaker 2: Will because I can't.
- 30:51Speaker 1: I can't ex I got these two friends that are
- 30:53about six', one real good looking, guys and they're my,
- 30:57buddies AND i hang out with, them AND i, think,
- 30:59man her experience being that good looking or six foot
- 31:03tall or, tall and you could see it when you
- 31:07hang out with somebody like, that you can see how
- 31:09they're having different experiences at the same place you are
- 31:13when you're.
- 31:13Speaker 2: Together But i'll never be able to. Experience do you
- 31:16guys ever think about?
- 31:17Speaker 8: That good?
- 31:17Speaker 2: Morning what's going?
- 31:18Speaker 12: On, Man roby's gotta be over here in the.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Box can you IMAGINE.
- 31:22Speaker 9: I feel.
- 31:25Speaker 12: Rob would be.
- 31:25Speaker 13: Doing, man you gotta go over, her, Baby i'm about
- 31:28stump in my close WHAT.
- 31:32Speaker 7: I?
- 31:32Speaker 12: Mean you know?
- 31:33Speaker 2: WHAT i see your.
- 31:35Speaker 12: Point but you know, What, romeo you might not Have
- 31:39you might not be fast on.
- 31:41Speaker 13: That, hey but you got the biggest hit show it
- 31:43in off Kirk.
- 31:44Speaker 12: County.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Man, well, yeah BUT i would have. Been it would
- 31:47be nice to actually know what being fast is.
- 31:49Speaker 4: Like you know WHAT i, mean, everybody EVERY i, mean you,
- 31:55Know i'm real being.
- 31:56Speaker 12: LOOKING i ain't never gonna know.
- 31:58Speaker 1: What WHEN i walk, ANYWHERE i waked out Break, Why.
- 32:08Speaker 2: YEAH i know what you're talking.
- 32:09Speaker 3: About.
- 32:10Speaker 2: Angel, Yeah i'm like.
- 32:11Speaker 12: Damn and then you feel you know another another man
- 32:15everything loves and every.
- 32:17Speaker 13: Dust you want.
- 32:19Speaker 12: To talk to?
- 32:19Speaker 2: Me uh, yeah you're a great.
- 32:21Speaker 4: Guy.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Angel everybody's, wrong all, Right, angel stay away from The
- 32:25pineapple crew get out?

- 32:52never know what it's like to be tall and, handsome
- 32:54which you, know you'll never experience those things already four, two, five,
- 32:59four seven to.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Seven, hey, roam we'll.

- 33:05yeah but you might be tall and. Handsome you might
- 33:09be able to run, fast jump. HIGH i can't jump.
- 33:11High i'll never know what's like to dunkle, basketball you
- 33:15know already four, two, five.
- 33:17Speaker 2: Four or seven Seven. Rome virtual Reality.
- 33:20Speaker 1: Rome some people live double, lives have a whole relationship
- 33:24to virtual. Reality want to be HANDSOME, vr want to
- 33:27be TALL. Vr yeah that's not, real Though i'm. Not
- 33:29i'm not that stupid and insecure THAT i believe that's.
- 33:32Speaker 2: Real you.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Know anybody that wants to be tall and by curiously
- 33:37lives through it THROUGH vr has got mental.
- 33:39Speaker 2: Issues it's not.
- 33:41Speaker 1: Real i'm not stupid enough to believe something that not
- 33:45that's not real is. Real, okay already fourteen seven.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Seven BUT i JUST i think it's funny to.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Me, Hey, Rom i'll never experience seeing The raiders win
- 33:55Another Super.
- 33:56Speaker 2: Bowl, YEAH i mean that's something That I'M i.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Mean it's, possible but it's not gonna happen in your.
- 34:03Lifetime do you guys ever really think about? That there's
- 34:07things you can never. Experience already four two, five four
- 34:11seven to? Seven all, Right SO i was thinking about
- 34:14some of the things That i'll Never i'll never be,
- 34:18Like i'll never know what it's like to be. FAST
- 34:20i was watching these kids that attract me the other,
- 34:22day and these kids are just hauling ass, man all of, them, girls,
- 34:26boys all of. Them AND i was, Like, Damn i'll
- 34:29never know what it's like to be. Fast i'll never
- 34:31know what it's like to be tall or handsome or
- 34:35any of that. Nonsense, right you ever think about, that you,
- 34:37guys ever think about something that you'll never, experience you,
- 34:42know just because it's not, Possible Hey? Romeo already four
- 34:46four seven to. Seven, hey ROME i will never know.
- 34:49Speaker 2: HOW i would be now IF i had taken a
- 34:53different path.
- 34:54Speaker 1: In, life, job, wife et. Cetera BUT i try to
- 34:57live without, regrets meaning move forward.
- 35:00Speaker 2: Only, WELL i.
- 35:01Speaker 1: Mean that's a little bit more philosophical than WHAT i was.
- 35:03Thinking i'm just, Thinking i'll never be able to dunk a.
- 35:06Basketball i'll never know what that's.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Like already four two, five four seven?
- 35:11Speaker 1: Seven all, Right but if you guys ever thought about,
- 35:17That have you ever thought like, legitimate like some things
- 35:21are still, Possible LIKE i might KNOW i might someday
- 35:25have enough money to know what it's like to just
- 35:27be able to buy WHATEVER i want without having to
- 35:29think about. Money you, know that might be possible, Still

- 45:12Speaker 1: STUFF a lot of people bring things off to Cell oh,
- 45:14yeah and people are looking for certain parts or.

- 45:54and you know they got the kids in the car
- 45:55and the music, go you, know and it's it's, different
- 46:00but it's really pretty. Cool you, know in this show
- 46:03and are show In, Pueblo colorado are the only two
- 46:05that do. THAT i don't know why that's, different but
- 46:07it's so much. Fun we come out a lot of,

- 46:18but you're selling parts and things like. That you have
- 46:21a ton of different. Cars one of the things that
- 46:25people don't understand and explain it to me IF i
- 46:28say it. Wrong street rods are kind of just people
- 46:32started making their own.
- 46:33Speaker 2: Cars right.
- 46:34Speaker 8: Well street rods actually started from hot. Rods, okay, okay
- 46:37so hot rods originally were designed to be to drag. Race, okay,
- 46:41Okay well they couldn't do that one day a. Week
- 46:44they'd go to race On.
- 46:45Speaker 3: Sundays.
- 46:45Speaker 8: Right, well they wanted to drive their car more, often
- 46:48so they had to make them street. Legal and so
- 46:50that's where the street rod came.
- 46:51Speaker 6: In.
- 46:52Speaker 8: Okay they took hot rods up for drag racing and
- 46:54made them for the streets so they could drive them all.
- 46:56Speaker 1: Right The National Street Road association The West Coast show

- 47:33lot about. It you got, bands go on.

- 47:42So i'm kind of interested hearing.
- 47:44Speaker 1: Them, well so one of the great, things one of
- 47:48the cool. Things And i've learned about car shows in a.
- 47:51Sense the people are. GREAT i don't know why you
- 47:54guys who own these cars and make them look nice
- 47:57and go sit around at parks and, paraground why you're
- 48:00such amazing people to hang out.
- 48:02Speaker 12: With you just.
- 48:03Speaker 1: Knowledgeable you want to show everybody your. Cars you want
- 48:06to just bring everybody into the. Experience and it's absolutely.
- 48:10Amazing kind of.
- 48:11Speaker 3: Storytellers Almost, Yeah i'll tell you the story of the.
- 48:14Car you don't want. To you know, what what got
- 48:16them to pick that?
- 48:17Speaker 8: Car or you know, what maybe it's their granddad's car
- 48:19or their dad's car or something like, that or their
- 48:21buddy in high school had one like that and they
- 48:23always wanted. One well now they can afford. It, yeah you,
- 48:26know so it's great stories bite every.
- 48:28Speaker 1: Car you could spend all day out there talking of
- 48:30these people just having a great. Time and it starts
- 48:33at eight o'clock On. Friday it starts eight o'clock On. Saturday,
- 48:37yes it starts eight o'clock each, day, oh each. Day,
- 48:39yeah But saturday we close the gates of.
- 48:41Speaker 8: Seven Our friday closed the gates of Seven saturday at,
- 48:43seven and Then sunday at twelve.
- 48:45Speaker 2: Thirty so are we missing? Anything what are we?
- 48:48Speaker 8: Missing Automotive Swap Meet, Kids, Games arts and, Crafts The
- 48:53West Coast Builder, showcase which is new this. Year we
- 48:55have invited twelve cars to come in and each each
- 48:59of the building that built a car will vote on
- 49:01which car they think should win The West Coast Builders Showcase.
- 49:05Speaker 3: Award and they can't vote on their own.
- 49:07Speaker 4: Car so it's kind of.
- 49:08Speaker 8: Interest and but the builders really likely because their peers
- 49:11are actually choosing the winner instead Of.
- 49:13Speaker 1: Now when they build these builders build, cars or even
- 49:17guys like, you if you build, cars do they try
- 49:19to build them to original or do they try to
- 49:24soup them up to kind of modernize?
- 49:26Speaker 2: Them how does that?
- 49:26Speaker 3: Work mostly far? Shows, no they love the old stuff
- 49:29is just not very.
- 49:30Speaker 2: Good yeah, right, yeah you, know the brakes weren't any.
- 49:33Speaker 3: Good in the.
- 49:33Speaker 8: Field and so they'll holding chassis underneath the. Car it's
- 49:37gonna ride, better it's going to stop. Better you'll put
- 49:40a late late model engine and transmission in because if
- 49:42something breaks, down they go the old rally auto parts
- 49:45and in the part that they need to work, with
- 49:48you can work. With and, yes because you know you
- 49:50had a nineteen fully you know. TRANSMISSION i had either
- 49:54this part for this. Transmission good luck. You so that's
- 49:58why that's why they tried to newer stuff. In but
- 50:01we'll keep the car looking. Old that's all new stuff.
- 50:04Speaker 3: Underneath, gotcha gotcha?
- 50:06Speaker 10: On now?
