- 0:00Speaker 1: You just heard the news. Now you'll find out what
- 0:03Speaker 1: it all means. Smart simone on seven to tenor.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Hey, we'll get to President Trump as Jesus. We'll get
- 0:18Speaker 2: to Eric Swallwell, we'll get to Hassan Piker, We'll get
- 0:23Speaker 2: to Iran Mom, Donnie Bruce Blakeman. We may have a
- 0:28Speaker 2: Hillary Clinton problem. We'll get to that coming up. Lots
- 0:32Speaker 2: to get to today important stuff. President Trump is finished.
- 0:39Speaker 2: It's over. He's destroyed himself with the picture of Jesus,
- 0:44Speaker 2: with the attack on the Pope. This is what you're
- 0:49Speaker 2: actually believing if you watch Morning Joe and the fake news.
- 0:53Speaker 2: I was watching Morning Joe scream for an hour about
- 0:57Speaker 2: attacking the Pope, starting a feud with the Hope. Nobody
- 1:00Speaker 2: has ever had a fight with the Pope. It's unheard of.
- 1:04Speaker 2: You can't. Hey, I hate to remind you, but Donald
- 1:08Speaker 2: Trump did this about eight years ago with the other pope.
- 1:11Speaker 2: He doesn't He's done it before. It's all going to
- 1:14Speaker 2: be forgotten about four weeks. Nobody's gonna remember this. He's
- 1:19Speaker 2: had fights with popees before. It doesn't affect anything. You
- 1:23Speaker 2: remember at the time. Actually, it was about ten years ago.
- 1:25Speaker 2: He was running in the South Carolina primary. We got
- 1:27Speaker 2: a big verbal battle with the pope, then the then pope,
- 1:32Speaker 2: and it was the South Carolina primary and these same
- 1:35Speaker 2: talking ads. That's it. He's finished. He's going to be
- 1:37Speaker 2: wiped out now in South Carolina. The number of Catholics there,
- 1:40Speaker 2: there's a very religious the attack the pope.
- 1:43Speaker 3: It's it.
- 1:43Speaker 2: He's going to be wiped out South Carolina. It's over.
- 1:46Speaker 2: His whole presidential bid is of next day. He won
- 1:49Speaker 2: South Carolina one big. This doesn't affect anything. Normally, you
- 1:54Speaker 2: shouldn't fight with the pope. In this case, he's absolutely right.
- 1:58Speaker 2: This pope, real left wing political pope. He hate to
- 2:02Speaker 2: see that. We like to see a nice, moral religious
- 2:06Speaker 2: pope stay in his lane. But this pope defending the
- 2:10Speaker 2: biggest terrorist regime on Earth. I mean, you can't believe it.
- 2:13Speaker 2: But he's, you know, see the left wing pope. So
- 2:16Speaker 2: what are you gonna do.
- 2:17Speaker 4: We believe strongly in law and order, and he seemed
- 2:21Speaker 4: to have a problem with that, so there's nothing to
- 2:24Speaker 4: apologize for.
- 2:25Speaker 1: He's wrong.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Yeah, he's a Mamdaniish sort of a pope. He defends
- 2:29Speaker 2: the criminals, he defends Iran, he defends uh hey, By
- 2:33Speaker 2: the way, there's a TikTok video that's come out that's
- 2:36Speaker 2: going viral. You won't see it on the network news,
- 2:39Speaker 2: you won't see it in the fake news. It's an
- 2:41Speaker 2: Iranian somehow he leaked this out from Iran. But it's
- 2:45Speaker 2: quite a powerful TikTok video. It's too long to play
- 2:48Speaker 2: on the are you have to watch all things about
- 2:49Speaker 2: five minutes. But he explains that President Trump is not
- 2:52Speaker 2: at war with Iran or its people. The Trump is
- 2:58Speaker 2: at war. The United States is at war with the
- 2:59Speaker 2: most brutal terrorist regime that's been terrorizing. He says, us,
- 3:04Speaker 2: the Iranian people, we've been brutalized and terrorists terrorized by
- 3:08Speaker 2: this regime. We are so excited that we might actually
- 3:11Speaker 2: be freed from this terrorist regime. It's quite a powerful video,
- 3:14Speaker 2: even some liberals putting it up, even the crazy Lucy
- 3:18Speaker 2: Arnez posting it saying, you know what, it's made me think,
- 3:22Speaker 2: and maybe I've been a little hasty about all this.
- 3:24Speaker 2: So anyway, the Pope picture, yeah, the Pope a fight,
- 3:31Speaker 2: the Pope argument. It's all you gonna hear for two days.
- 3:34Speaker 2: In fact, I was watching the NBC Nightly News last
- 3:37Speaker 2: night the network news. Guess what the lead story was,
- 3:41Speaker 2: the Pope and Donald Trump Trump attacks. This is the
- 3:45Speaker 2: lead story. They're trying to make something out of this
- 3:47Speaker 2: certainly was not I it's something you might do in
- 3:50Speaker 2: the newscast. It's not the lead story. But the war
- 3:54Speaker 2: was like the fifth story. But it's all going to
- 3:57Speaker 2: be gone in a few weeks, just like the last time.
- 3:59Speaker 2: You got no fight with another pope. Now, the Jesus
- 4:02Speaker 2: picture are terrible. You shouldn't do that, but he always
- 4:05Speaker 2: does things you shouldn't do. And I just you left
- 4:10Speaker 2: wing Trump haters out there, you just got to prepare yourself.
- 4:16Speaker 2: You've got to be realistic. You always do this. You
- 4:20Speaker 2: get into this. Now we got him, We've got him
- 4:23Speaker 2: this time.
- 4:23Speaker 3: This is it.
- 4:25Speaker 2: You just got to prepare yourself. About four weeks from now,
- 4:29Speaker 2: nobody is going to remember this. Maybe two weeks from now,
- 4:32Speaker 2: a week from now, it's going to be over. Two
- 4:34Speaker 2: weeks from now, nobody will remember it. Four weeks from now,
- 4:37Speaker 2: if you bring it up, nobody will know what the
- 4:38Speaker 2: hell you're talking about. You shouldn't do that. Jesus, he
- 4:43Speaker 2: does this. You know, there are a lot of guys
- 4:46Speaker 2: that just love to stir things up and get attention.
- 4:50Speaker 2: But normally, normally it's some guy on Twitter. Sometimes it's
- 4:55Speaker 2: a radio host. Sometimes they're just looking for attention, so
- 4:59Speaker 2: they resort to some stunt, some gimmick, something trying to
- 5:03Speaker 2: go viral, trying to get attention. You know, you like
- 5:05Speaker 2: these podcasters who are doing the show from home, Megan
- 5:09Speaker 2: Kelly or Tucker Crossing. They do that to try to
- 5:11Speaker 2: something outrageous so they can get get a lot of headlines,
- 5:14Speaker 2: get a lot of press, get a lot of Maybe
- 5:16Speaker 2: it'll help people do that, but it's unusual for a
- 5:19Speaker 2: president to do that. He loves doing this, he loves
- 5:21Speaker 2: getting attention. Just when you've calmed down, just when you've
- 5:25Speaker 2: come down from Defcon one, he unleashes the next thing.
- 5:30Speaker 2: So that was the Jesus picture. You probably shouldn't do
- 5:33Speaker 2: that Jesus picture and his explanation.
- 5:36Speaker 4: I did first it and I thought it was me
- 5:38Speaker 4: as a doctor and had to do with Red Cross
- 5:41Speaker 4: as a Red Cross worker.
- 5:42Speaker 2: There, which we said, now, let's analyze that him as
- 5:45Speaker 2: a doctor. We've all been to a lot of doctors.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Normally they got a white coat on, Normally they got
- 5:54Speaker 2: some pens in the pocket, the stuff that's going to know.
- 5:56Speaker 2: They've come in with this red thing around them and
- 5:58Speaker 2: a big glowing light behind them. I don't know. And
- 6:01Speaker 2: was that a Red crossworker, I guess.
- 6:04Speaker 4: And only the fake news could come up with that one.
- 6:07Speaker 3: So I.
- 6:10Speaker 4: Just heard about it and I said, how did they
- 6:12Speaker 4: come up with that? It's supposed to be me as
- 6:15Speaker 4: a doctor making people better, and I do make people better.
- 6:18Speaker 2: I make people a lot better. All right. It's not
- 6:21Speaker 2: the greatest explanation, but the guy is president of the
- 6:26Speaker 2: United States. You get a little busy when you're the
- 6:28Speaker 2: president of the United States. You know, even when you're
- 6:31Speaker 2: doing this show or you're on the air doing a show,
- 6:34Speaker 2: you get very busy doing it and you try, you know,
- 6:36Speaker 2: you're looking for content, stories, clips, to play pictures. Sometimes
- 6:43Speaker 2: you're busy. You got a lot of things going on,
- 6:45Speaker 2: so you look at the story quick. Maybe you read
- 6:48Speaker 2: the first six paragraphs, but you didn't read the last three.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Maybe this video is very funny, watch about a minute.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Yeah this is really funny, post this, but you didn't
- 6:58Speaker 2: watch the last minute. So sometimes that happens. That's if
- 7:01Speaker 2: you're just a normal person, you imagine the president of
- 7:03Speaker 2: the United States in the middle of a war, in
- 7:04Speaker 2: the middle of eight thousand things in that oval office,
- 7:07Speaker 2: a thousand people coming, and you get too busy, you're not.
- 7:11Speaker 2: He looked at it for a second and looked good.
- 7:13Speaker 2: He posted. You know, if he thought it's not like
- 7:16Speaker 2: somebody else where, you'd look at it. Look at it
- 7:19Speaker 2: a couple hours later, show it to a few people.
- 7:22Speaker 2: What do you think? None of that. It's like split
- 7:25Speaker 2: second decision. So you probably shouldn't have shouldn't have posted it.
- 7:31Speaker 2: It's so again, just prepare yourself if you're a Trump hater.
- 7:35Speaker 2: In a couple of weeks, nobody will remember this. Nobody's
- 7:37Speaker 2: gonna remember the Pope fight. Remember. I think the first
- 7:40Speaker 2: time this happened was when he made fun of John McCain.
- 7:44Speaker 2: That's the first time I saw him all over the airways.
- 7:45Speaker 2: That's just it. He's finished, the end of his career.
- 7:48Speaker 2: That's it. Nobody even remembers this. A lot of people
- 7:51Speaker 2: listening that don't even know what I'm talking about. He
- 7:53Speaker 2: made fun of John McCain. Forget it. It's a long
- 7:56Speaker 2: time ago. So otherwise, it was very, very good day.
- 8:01Speaker 2: The blockade of Iran is brilliant, brilliant, now we're in
- 8:07Speaker 2: these negotiations. The only leverage Iran had is the Straits
- 8:12Speaker 2: of Hormuse. They keep them closed. Now the truth is
- 8:17Speaker 2: behind the scenes, it's better for us if they're closed
- 8:20Speaker 2: because we don't use that oil. The rest of the
- 8:21Speaker 2: world uses that oil. We use our own oil. So
- 8:25Speaker 2: if it's closed, Ran can't make any money because that's
- 8:30Speaker 2: their revenue exporting oil. Straits of Hormose closed, they can't
- 8:34Speaker 2: export anything, no revenue coming in. And as long as
- 8:37Speaker 2: it's closed, it was making us a lot of money
- 8:40Speaker 2: because many of those countries had to suddenly start buying
- 8:43Speaker 2: from us. With that closed. We were the big supplier
- 8:46Speaker 2: of oil, so we a lot of countries started buying
- 8:48Speaker 2: American oil for the first and so it was helping us.
- 8:51Speaker 2: So that was their leverage. Though it looked bad, you know,
- 8:53Speaker 2: having it closed, but we decided, you know what, we'll
- 8:56Speaker 2: close it. And again it's the scene from a Bronx
- 9:00Speaker 2: tail with the bikers where he's trying to throw them
- 9:04Speaker 2: out and then finally he locks the door. He now
- 9:06Speaker 2: you just can't leave. So that's what we were doing
- 9:09Speaker 2: with the Straits of Hormus. As long as it's closed,
- 9:11Speaker 2: Iran is in major trouble. There's no revenue. That straits
- 9:16Speaker 2: of Hormus is ninety five percent of the revenue of
- 9:19Speaker 2: the country. The longer it's shut, the more problems they have.
- 9:23Speaker 2: It will be totally out of money pretty soon. Now.
- 9:25Speaker 2: They got all kinds of problems already in Iran. There's
- 9:27Speaker 2: a water shortage, there's all things going on. The banks
- 9:30Speaker 2: don't have any money. The whole financial system is in jeopardy.
- 9:34Speaker 2: If we keep thus straights closed, the currency will collapse.
- 9:37Speaker 2: It'll be the end of Iran. So they have to negotiate.
- 9:41Speaker 2: They'll have to come back to the table. Hey, here's
- 9:43Speaker 2: the only bad thing we've seen in these negotiations. It's
- 9:48Speaker 2: coming out now what the negotiation was. Iran was agreed
- 9:54Speaker 2: to no nuclear anything for five years, which is more
- 9:59Speaker 2: than I thought they would ever I agree to. But
- 10:01Speaker 2: it turns out what we were asking for was no
- 10:03Speaker 2: nuclear anything of any kind for twenty years. But I
- 10:08Speaker 2: don't like that at all. That's just kicking I mean,
- 10:10Speaker 2: you're talking about kicking the can down the road. That's
- 10:13Speaker 2: kicking the can a lot farther down the road than
- 10:15Speaker 2: anybody ever did. But it's still kicking the can. Down
- 10:17Speaker 2: the road. It should be permanent, not twenty years. So
- 10:21Speaker 2: I don't like that part of it. But they'll get
- 10:24Speaker 2: back to they'll get back to negotiating at some point.
- 10:27Speaker 2: So and again, if you're watching the fake news, everything
- 10:31Speaker 2: is a disaster, even the New York Times, well obviously
- 10:35Speaker 2: New York Times, but even the Wall Street Journal, you're
- 10:38Speaker 2: getting totally deceived. If you're reading, here's Gerard Baker. Brilliant guy,
- 10:42Speaker 2: A lot of respect for him, but but here's his
- 10:46Speaker 2: big headline. For now, at least, the Iran war seems
- 10:50Speaker 2: to be failing. It's another one convincing we're losing. It's
- 10:53Speaker 2: I mean, Gerard Baker's like the New Tokyo Rose. Here
- 10:57Speaker 2: the New York Times. The Iran blockade. It's a test
- 11:02Speaker 2: of which side can endure more pain. Well, again, it's
- 11:06Speaker 2: only a Ran that's enduring pain with that blockade. We
- 11:09Speaker 2: actually make more money with that blockade. Everybody has to
- 11:12Speaker 2: buy our oil now. But the New York Times trying
- 11:15Speaker 2: to scare everybody. Some oil companies are planning now for
- 11:18Speaker 2: one hundred and seventy five dollars a barrel. There's no
- 11:21Speaker 2: oil company that's ever thought of one hundred and said
- 11:25Speaker 2: they're worried it could go to one hundred and ten.
- 11:27Speaker 2: That's about it again, New York Times, Trump administration, backlash,
- 11:35Speaker 2: Pope attack, the attack on the Pope. The backlash is unbelievable,
- 11:38Speaker 2: all right now here. If you're reading the New York Times,
- 11:40Speaker 2: you wonder how your liberal friends get so insane bit
- 11:44Speaker 2: huge New York Times piece yesterday President Trump's erratic behavior
- 11:50Speaker 2: in recent days, more and more people around him thinking
- 11:56Speaker 2: that he must be removed from office, that he's gone
- 11:58Speaker 2: completely crazy. Nobody thinks that around Susie Wilds doesn't think that.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Scott Besson doesn't think he's erratic behavior. But the New
- 12:09Speaker 2: York Times, it's a very serious article, and they quote
- 12:12Speaker 2: these professors with glasses and bow ties, and then they
- 12:15Speaker 2: say Democrats, who've long challenged mister Trump's psychological fitness have
- 12:21Speaker 2: issued a fresh chorus of calls to invoke the twenty
- 12:24Speaker 2: fifth And now here's the funny park. Well, that's pretty funny.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Here's the even funnier brook. Even Republicans are questioning his
- 12:32Speaker 2: extremely erratic behavior. Really, which republicans. We'll let me look.
- 12:38Speaker 2: If you look into the story, the Republicans are Marjorie
- 12:41Speaker 2: Taylor Creen. So remember she was that wacko congresswoman who
- 12:47Speaker 2: had to quit. This is who they're quoting as an authority.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Then they quote Chuck Schumer. Mister Trump is an extremely
- 12:54Speaker 2: sick person. Hakim Jeffreys, he's unhinged and out of control. Well,
- 13:00Speaker 2: you see they've got excellent, unimpeachable sources there. Hey, Eric
- 13:04Speaker 2: Swalwell is going to resign now. The emotion has been
- 13:09Speaker 2: started to expel him from Congress, and the reason it
- 13:12Speaker 2: looked like the expulsion could be very successful. So the
- 13:15Speaker 2: reason he has to resign. If you're expelled, you get nothing.
- 13:19Speaker 2: If you resign, you keep everything, your pension, the money, healthcare,
- 13:23Speaker 2: the whole thing. So that's why he will resign first,
- 13:26Speaker 2: to keep all the money to pension, everything. He's got
- 13:30Speaker 2: big problems though. He's still facing major criminal charges here
- 13:34Speaker 2: in Manhattan. Alvin Bragg has indicted him, so he's got
- 13:39Speaker 2: to deal with that. If you look through all these allegations,
- 13:42Speaker 2: looks like very serious stuff. And it's pretty clear in Congress,
- 13:47Speaker 2: the Democrats, even the Republicans, they knew about it. They
- 13:50Speaker 2: knew about his behavior. It was well known he was
- 13:54Speaker 2: as Mooe Green would say, banging cocktail waitresses two at
- 13:57Speaker 2: a time. But even worse than that, harassment women all
- 14:00Speaker 2: over the place. Many Republicans and Democrats in Congress sing
- 14:04Speaker 2: everybody knew, don't let him anywhere near any of your
- 14:07Speaker 2: female staffers. In horrible, horrible situation, you know. And then
- 14:13Speaker 2: you got this other. This is a Republican Tony Gonzalez.
- 14:16Speaker 2: He's got to quit an affair lewde texting scandal, and
- 14:22Speaker 2: it was so bad with one staffer. Are you talk
- 14:25Speaker 2: about a bad breakup? This is the worst breakup I've
- 14:27Speaker 2: ever heard about. He's harassing this woman. I don't know.
- 14:29Speaker 2: He's having an affair with the woman having an affair.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Whatever happened, she was so upset she set herself on fire.
- 14:38Speaker 2: She went in her backyard and set herself on fire
- 14:41Speaker 2: and burned up in the flame. Now that's that's about
- 14:45Speaker 2: the worst breakup I've ever heard about. Her widow, they
- 14:48Speaker 2: were both married. I guess it's going after Gonzales and
- 14:53Speaker 2: he's demanding that he'd be held accountable. He'll have to leave.
- 14:57Speaker 2: And then now he's from Texas. Republican Governor Hill the
- 15:01Speaker 2: point another Republican. Same thing with Swall Weald, he's from California.
- 15:05Speaker 2: So the governor, a Democrat, will replace him with another Democrat.
- 15:08Speaker 2: So it doesn't change the makeup of Congress. But these
- 15:12Speaker 2: guys that you know, part of the prime in Congress.
- 15:13Speaker 2: A lot of these guys get elected and they go
- 15:17Speaker 2: to Congress and the family generally is back home and
- 15:20Speaker 2: they you know, you don't make a lot of money
- 15:22Speaker 2: in Congress, but you got a lot of expense because
- 15:25Speaker 2: you've got to live in your home district and you
- 15:27Speaker 2: got to live in Washington, d C. It's very tough
- 15:30Speaker 2: to have two residences. So a lot of them sleep
- 15:35Speaker 2: in their office. I mean, it's unbelievable. They sleep in
- 15:38Speaker 2: their office six in the morning. You can see them
- 15:40Speaker 2: going into the bathroom to shave and brush their tea.
- 15:43Speaker 2: It's awful. Some of them, they you know, roommate up
- 15:47Speaker 2: and get like seven of them in one little apartment.
- 15:50Speaker 2: It's a lonely existence for a lot of these guys,
- 15:52Speaker 2: away from their family Monday through Friday, and that's what happens.
- 15:55Speaker 2: They get involved with staffers, they get lonely, they get
- 15:58Speaker 2: involved with women. Lotus throw dozens of great looking women
- 16:04Speaker 2: at him. You go to any big event Washington you know,
- 16:08Speaker 2: there's tables are ten all over the room. You always
- 16:10Speaker 2: see one table it's got three or four the hottest
- 16:13Speaker 2: looking twenty somethings you've ever seen, sitting with a bunch
- 16:16Speaker 2: of creepy old men, and you know right away that's
- 16:19Speaker 2: the lobbyist table. The lobbyists go to these events and
- 16:23Speaker 2: they bring some really hot looking women, which gets everybody
- 16:26Speaker 2: to come over to sale over to their table, and
- 16:28Speaker 2: they introduce the congressmen to these hot looking women, and
- 16:31Speaker 2: it's one of the ways they lure them in to
- 16:33Speaker 2: their lobbying firmed to get things done. Anyway, Well, hey,
- 16:37Speaker 2: we'll take some calls in a moment. Eight hundred three
- 16:39Speaker 2: to two one zero seven ten is the number. Eight
- 16:42Speaker 2: hundred three to two one zero seven ten.
- 16:46Speaker 1: It instant access to Mark by setting a pre set
- 16:50Speaker 1: in the iHeartRadio app for his live show and his podcast.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Now back to the Mark Simone Show on woor.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Okay, let's tek you calls. Let's go too. Let's go
- 17:02Speaker 2: to Loretta in beautiful Rye, New York. Loretta, how you
- 17:05Speaker 2: doing Okay?
- 17:06Speaker 5: How are you good?
- 17:08Speaker 6: I'd like to comment on the pope. We need an
- 17:11Speaker 6: exorcism in Rome. I'm sick of these priests coming out
- 17:16Speaker 6: with all this crap instead of taking care of the
- 17:19Speaker 6: Catholic Church and doing what they're supposed to do. I
- 17:22Speaker 6: don't think this is going to affect Trump in any way.
- 17:26Speaker 6: I know many many people feel that this is terrible.
- 17:30Speaker 7: What they do.
- 17:30Speaker 2: Yeah, no, the Pope totally inappropriate. Just stay in this lane.
- 17:33Speaker 2: You know, it has no effect on President Trump. He
- 17:36Speaker 2: did this before with the last pope a few years ago,
- 17:39Speaker 2: same thing. This is it. He's finished. You can't fight
- 17:41Speaker 2: with the Pope, Yes you can. It's terrible you would
- 17:45Speaker 2: have to. But again, pope totally out of line, defending
- 17:48Speaker 2: the biggest terrorist regime on Earth. Let's go to Kay
- 17:51Speaker 2: in Manhattan, K. How you doing.
- 17:54Speaker 7: Hello? Well, thank you Mark. I just have to say
- 17:58Speaker 7: that this Pope is very, very similar to his predecessor Francis,
- 18:03Speaker 7: and I do not think the curious Catholics have a
- 18:07Speaker 7: lot of respect, have a lot of respect, or have
- 18:10Speaker 7: a lot of respects for.
- 18:13Speaker 8: This pope.
- 18:13Speaker 7: As you're saying, it's true he's very left leaning and
- 18:17Speaker 7: that's not what a pope is, what a real pope is.
- 18:22Speaker 7: And when you can think of the suffering in Iran,
- 18:25Speaker 7: the suffering of the hangings, the torture, what they do
- 18:31Speaker 7: to the women. What is this pope defending? What is
- 18:35Speaker 7: he talking about? There is such a thing as a
- 18:38Speaker 7: righteous war.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Yes, him, hypocrisy. They left this famous for he is
- 18:45Speaker 2: the pope, He's still the pope. But you're right, and
- 18:47Speaker 2: that's a good point, k Yeah, and he should you know.
- 18:50Speaker 2: And the big argument against him is where the hell
- 18:52Speaker 2: was he for the last four or five months when
- 18:55Speaker 2: Iran was slaughtering people in the streets. They shot thirty
- 18:59Speaker 2: thousand protests, shot them right in the streets. Some of
- 19:02Speaker 2: them didn't die, They ended up in the hospital. This
- 19:04Speaker 2: is absolutely true. They sent the Republican guard into the hospital,
- 19:08Speaker 2: the ones that were alive and in the hospital they shot,
- 19:11Speaker 2: sent the Republican guardian to the hospitals to shoot these
- 19:14Speaker 2: patients right in their bed. Where was this pope then,
- 19:18Speaker 2: totally silent about that. Let's go to rich Myrtle Beach Rich,
- 19:22Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 19:24Speaker 9: Hey?
- 19:24Speaker 8: Thanks Mark. These lovely women have pretty much toole my thunder.
- 19:27Speaker 8: I mean, it even proves that even the Pope isn't
- 19:29Speaker 8: immune from TDS syndrome, you know what I'm saying. So
- 19:32Speaker 8: it's all about that you know, and the Catholic Church. Listen,
- 19:35Speaker 8: I'm preface it by saying, you know, I was raised Catholic,
- 19:37Speaker 8: but I haven't been to church since I was like
- 19:38Speaker 8: sixteen years old. But you know, every generation is getting
- 19:42Speaker 8: fed up and more fed up with the pope as
- 19:44Speaker 8: they become more political. Instead of just doing what they're
- 19:46Speaker 8: supposed to be doing, they're becoming more woke and more
- 19:49Speaker 8: left leaning, instead of being a conservative organization like the
- 19:52Speaker 8: Catholic Church always was. And as far as this uh
- 19:55Speaker 8: swallwell thing is concerned, nobody could call them out because
- 19:58Speaker 8: every single one of them is guilty the same thing.
- 20:00Speaker 8: That's why that even my kookie congresswoman down here, Nancy Mace,
- 20:04Speaker 8: had the right idea of putting up that bill to
- 20:06Speaker 8: expose all of them, and they don't have to go.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Yeah, well, it is a mess. The worst people in
- 20:12Speaker 2: Congress Democrats and Republicans, a lot of bad sleeves balls
- 20:17Speaker 2: in Congress. Hey, not all Catholic leaders are back. You
- 20:20Speaker 2: look at Cardinal Dolan. That's an example of how you
- 20:24Speaker 2: should behave. He was outspoken on everything except politics. He
- 20:30Speaker 2: stayed out of partisan politics or that sort of stuff.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Let's go to Pat Scarsdale, Pat, how you doing?
- 20:37Speaker 10: Hey?
- 20:37Speaker 9: Mark.
- 20:38Speaker 11: Nora o'donald this morning on the CBS show was going
- 20:43Speaker 11: over all of the Catholics that are in the cabinet,
- 20:46Speaker 11: and her contention was that this thing is going to
- 20:50Speaker 11: hurt Trump on the midterms. Now, our family. I just
- 20:53Speaker 11: want to say, my family, we're all caught carrying Catholics
- 20:56Speaker 11: and everyone is furious at the Pope. Not Trump.
- 21:00Speaker 2: No, no, it's it's Nora o'donald. That's Nora o'donald. They've
- 21:04Speaker 2: been doing the lead story on the nightly news last night,
- 21:07Speaker 2: the Pope, the fight, the feud of the president. Trump
- 21:10Speaker 2: attacked the Pope. We've been through this before with the
- 21:13Speaker 2: previous Pope and President Trump. It'll be forgotten about in
- 21:17Speaker 2: two weeks. Nobody will remember it. Let's go to Bob
- 21:21Speaker 2: and New Rochelle. Bob, how you doing.
- 21:23Speaker 5: I'm good. I just want to thank the dear Lord.
- 21:25Speaker 5: Every now and then he throws.
- 21:27Speaker 9: Us a bone.
- 21:27Speaker 5: Years ago was Elliot Spitzer, and then it was Anthony Wiener,
- 21:30Speaker 5: and now it was the testable O Swallow. I don't
- 21:33Speaker 5: normally to join people's doubtful, but he's just so unlikable.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Yeah, he is one slimy guy, this Swallow. When you
- 21:42Speaker 2: read these accounts and the things that are uh that
- 21:45Speaker 2: have come out, it's just horrible. Now, remember he can
- 21:48Speaker 2: resign from Congress, which will save his pension and all that,
- 21:51Speaker 2: but he's facing criminal charges in New York City. It's
- 21:56Speaker 2: Alvin Bragg who But this all looks very orchestrated. It's
- 22:01Speaker 2: taken out Eric Swalwell. It looks paid for, packaged. All
- 22:06Speaker 2: these allegations which people knew about for years, all of
- 22:09Speaker 2: a sudden exploding at once, this criminal case. And it
- 22:12Speaker 2: looks like it's coming from the Democratic side of the aisle.
- 22:15Speaker 2: For whatever reason, they want this guy gone, so he's
- 22:19Speaker 2: not out of the woods. Got to get through these
- 22:20Speaker 2: criminal charges in Manhattan. Hey, when we come back, we
- 22:23Speaker 2: always bring you the smartest people on earth. Steve Forbes
- 22:26Speaker 2: will be with us next and get a lot to
- 22:28Speaker 2: talk about with Iran and oil prices, the economy and
- 22:31Speaker 2: all that. Will get to that next on seven to ten.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Woor Howster, New York, Mark Simone war Well. Steve Forbes
- 22:42Speaker 2: the chairman of Forbes Media and author of many great books.
- 22:47Speaker 2: You should get his latest book, Inflation. You will really
- 22:49Speaker 2: learn a lot highly recommended Steve Forbes's latest book, Inflation.
- 22:53Speaker 2: You can get it on Amazon course read Forbes Media.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Steve Forbes, how you doing doing fine? Thanks?
- 23:02Speaker 9: I'm in Arkansas today, sunny Arkansas, so I think they
- 23:06Speaker 9: have warm weather here.
- 23:07Speaker 2: You have warm weather there.
- 23:09Speaker 9: So, And the Yankees won a game last night, so
- 23:13Speaker 9: a little close, eleven to ten. Judge had two home runs,
- 23:16Speaker 9: so life could be worse.
- 23:21Speaker 2: I hate to ask, but what are you doing in Arkansas?
- 23:25Speaker 9: Speaking at Harding University? Are young Americans for Freedom and
- 23:30Speaker 9: great great conservative group, right thinking groups? So yeah, it's
- 23:35Speaker 9: nice to be in company of enlightened people.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Yeah. And Steve Forth, by the way, one of the
- 23:40Speaker 2: great speakers in America. If you need somebody to make
- 23:43Speaker 2: a great speech for you, for whatever organization. But hey,
- 23:47Speaker 2: the blockade of the Straits of horn Moves is so brilliant.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Why didn't we think of that three weeks ago?
- 23:55Speaker 9: It should have been done at the beginning and things
- 24:01Speaker 9: thinking things through. They should have planned what would be
- 24:05Speaker 9: the reaction of China, Deal with that, reaction of Russia.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Deal with that.
- 24:09Speaker 9: But if Iran was going to close the strait, then
- 24:12Speaker 9: they'll say, okay, it's closed. Everybody and if you want
- 24:15Speaker 9: to get through, we'll let's come through. But we're going
- 24:18Speaker 9: to control that, so better late than never. And I
- 24:22Speaker 9: hope there's going to be some consistency now. And I'll
- 24:26Speaker 9: be blunt, I think we're going to have to resume
- 24:28Speaker 9: hostilities before we get a resolution of this conflict.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Sadly, you know what was leaking out from those negotiations.
- 24:36Speaker 2: I didn't really like that Iran wanted five years of
- 24:39Speaker 2: no nuclear activity. We wanted twenty years. Why would we
- 24:43Speaker 2: want twenty years? Why wouldn't we want permanent? Isn't this
- 24:45Speaker 2: just more kicking the camp down?
- 24:46Speaker 9: Permanent like two thousand years? Yeah, and regime change in between.
- 24:52Speaker 9: Get a government that had the aspirations that people in
- 24:56Speaker 9: mind not they're crazy, crazed id Murder's ideology. Yeah, you're right,
- 25:01Speaker 9: no five year, no twenty year thing. They made those
- 25:03Speaker 9: promises kind of promises before and they're not even worth
- 25:07Speaker 9: the paper they're written on.
- 25:10Speaker 2: But if we were to walk away with a deal
- 25:12Speaker 2: like that, twenty years with a timeline, that's a very
- 25:16Speaker 2: Obama is sort of a Ran deal, isn't it.
- 25:19Speaker 9: It's embarrassing, Yes, it is Obama of two. John Kerry
- 25:23Speaker 9: would be in his mind vindicated. Worse though, it would
- 25:27Speaker 9: be seen mark as a victory for the extremists in Iran.
- 25:32Speaker 9: They faced all of this firepower from the United States
- 25:35Speaker 9: and from Israel. They survived and they didn't have to
- 25:38Speaker 9: give up the nuclear program. Everyone knows as soon as
- 25:41Speaker 9: the world's attention goes elsewhere, they're going to start doing
- 25:44Speaker 9: stuff they shouldn't do. And they're encouragible. They are dedicated revolutionaries.
- 25:51Speaker 9: They may be corrupt, but they are dedicated revolutionaries. So
- 25:55Speaker 9: doing letting that regime survive and having a timeline on
- 26:00Speaker 9: nuclear weapons is a victory for them. They've lost militarily,
- 26:05Speaker 9: but they're going to win politically, and we cannot let
- 26:07Speaker 9: that happen.
- 26:08Speaker 2: Well, things will change, things change very fast in this situation.
- 26:12Speaker 2: But again, that blockade is brilliant. It's even forcing some
- 26:16Speaker 2: other countries now to buy oil from US.
- 26:19Speaker 9: So well, we've got some oil coming from a place
- 26:22Speaker 9: called the last they look Venezuela. This is coming on
- 26:28Speaker 9: the market now and they're being able to rev that up.
- 26:31Speaker 9: But I just think and the president has to keep
- 26:33Speaker 9: making clear and the people have to keep making things clear.
- 26:37Speaker 9: This thing may take two weeks, two days two months
- 26:40Speaker 9: or whatever it takes. Given the danger that Iran posed
- 26:43Speaker 9: to our security, This is ultimately about our security. You
- 26:47Speaker 9: don't want a fanatical regime with missiles that were capable
- 26:50Speaker 9: of reaching the US, which they are making huge progress
- 26:53Speaker 9: on being able to make nuclear weapons very quickly. That
- 26:57Speaker 9: is an intolerable threat. And we know, oh, they'd use
- 27:00Speaker 9: it for blackmail. Then we know they'd probably use it
- 27:03Speaker 9: against Israel and say what are you going to do
- 27:05Speaker 9: about it? So we got to get that regime out.
- 27:09Speaker 9: And the sacrifices we make now are a fraction of
- 27:13Speaker 9: what would happen if that regime got nuclear weapons and
- 27:16Speaker 9: the missiles to reach the rest of the world.
- 27:18Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Now, Steve Forbes, China, if they're secretly helping Iran or
- 27:22Speaker 2: working against us by aiding, or if we could figure
- 27:25Speaker 2: out then I'm sure President Trump ken at some point
- 27:27Speaker 2: figured out something that would be beneficial that China that
- 27:30Speaker 2: would end that, wouldn't it. They don't have any real
- 27:32Speaker 2: loyalty to Iran, do they.
- 27:35Speaker 9: They?
- 27:35Speaker 2: What if we could, if the President could figure out
- 27:38Speaker 2: some way something really beneficial for China and all of this,
- 27:42Speaker 2: they would drop their secret support of Iran, wouldn't they.
- 27:46Speaker 9: I'm not so sure that China does is not. China's
- 27:51Speaker 9: out to will become the dominant power in the world.
- 27:54Speaker 9: And one of the things we've allowed to happen is
- 27:56Speaker 9: they're continuing to build these man made islands in the
- 28:00Speaker 9: South China Sea. They want to control that the way
- 28:04Speaker 9: the Ranians want to croach control the Straight of hor Moves,
- 28:07Speaker 9: and we have to make it very clear that's not
- 28:10Speaker 9: going to happen. And that's why, again it's very important
- 28:13Speaker 9: we're doing what we're doing in the Straight or Hormoves.
- 28:16Speaker 9: No one's going to control that. Bad guys are not
- 28:18Speaker 9: going to control that freedom of the seas. It's been
- 28:21Speaker 9: a bedrock of American policy for over two hundred and
- 28:24Speaker 9: thirty years and that's going to continue. And so in
- 28:28Speaker 9: terms of a China, I think we have to make
- 28:31Speaker 9: it clear we have there our interests and we're going
- 28:34Speaker 9: to defend those interests. They're not going to become the
- 28:36Speaker 9: global dominant power and they're not going to take over
- 28:38Speaker 9: the South China Sea. And again people may say, oh,
- 28:43Speaker 9: that's warlike, No it isn't. They're the aggressors, not using
- 28:47Speaker 9: Americans would like nothing better than a peaceful world. We
- 28:50Speaker 9: can go to Pott of doing our business creating great
- 28:53Speaker 9: things moving ahead. But we've got bad guys.
- 28:56Speaker 2: In the world. Hey, Steve Forbes's the Moon mission really inspiring?
- 29:02Speaker 2: It's fascinating to what is it really necessary right now?
- 29:05Speaker 2: What are the real benefits of us going back to
- 29:07Speaker 2: the moon.
- 29:09Speaker 9: Well, in terms of the technological feet, it's fantastic. We
- 29:14Speaker 9: all known people have never traveled as far as those
- 29:18Speaker 9: four astronauts did six hundred and ninety five thousand miles.
- 29:23Speaker 9: But unfortunately, the hell of war is coming to the heavens.
- 29:29Speaker 9: The weapons are being developed. The Chinese are doing it.
- 29:32Speaker 9: We're going to have to do it where they can
- 29:34Speaker 9: actually store weapons in space and aim them at the
- 29:37Speaker 9: United States, aim them at the specific targeting. This is
- 29:41Speaker 9: what's so frightening, only specifically targeting infrastructure projects, roads, electricity plants,
- 29:49Speaker 9: every sensitive thing from space. You don't even need nuclear
- 29:54Speaker 9: weapons to have a real disaster.
- 29:56Speaker 10: So we have.
- 29:58Speaker 9: It's the new frontier, sadly of war, and so we
- 30:01Speaker 9: have to stay ahead of the Chinese on that. And
- 30:05Speaker 9: it's sad, but that's where we are. The heavens are
- 30:08Speaker 9: going to be a place of a warfare. Sadly, we
- 30:11Speaker 9: got to stay ahead of the Chinese.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Excellent point. Yeah, hey, you got a lot of too
- 30:16Speaker 2: far to the left sort of leaders from Mom Donnie
- 30:19Speaker 2: to Virginia is a good example of the Spamburger And
- 30:23Speaker 2: this could affect the midterms. Are people getting a little
- 30:25Speaker 2: dose of real left wing leadership and there's a.
- 30:30Speaker 9: Little bit of a yeah, the Republican should hammer that.
- 30:34Speaker 9: And we got a little bit of it in New Jersey.
- 30:36Speaker 2: These people.
- 30:37Speaker 9: Donnie didn't run as a moderate, but those two, those
- 30:41Speaker 9: two governors Spenburger and Mikey Cheryl in New Jersey ran
- 30:46Speaker 9: a promised or ran as moderates, and as soon as
- 30:49Speaker 9: they get in they run far left. Spenburger in Virginia
- 30:53Speaker 9: thinks she's going to be the next vice president of
- 30:55Speaker 9: president of the United States, but you know, her numbers
- 30:58Speaker 9: are cratering. And April twenty first, they have a referendum
- 31:02Speaker 9: for this crazy thing where they're going to obliterate GOP
- 31:06Speaker 9: representation in Congress. Right now, Virginia six Democrats, five Republicans.
- 31:11Speaker 9: They've rejiggered it so it would be ten Democrats one Republican.
- 31:15Speaker 9: But they have to do it by a referendum, and
- 31:17Speaker 9: it looks like, given her unpopularity, that referendum may go
- 31:21Speaker 9: down to defeat. And in terms of Mom Donnie, he
- 31:25Speaker 9: announced the other day a thirty million dollar grocery store
- 31:28Speaker 9: next year in East Harlem. Grocery store costs it most
- 31:32Speaker 9: in New York, one million dollars to set up. Where's
- 31:35Speaker 9: that out of twenty nine million going? And another question
- 31:38Speaker 9: for this neo communist mayor, when people come into his
- 31:42Speaker 9: grocery store and start stealing the food, is he going
- 31:45Speaker 9: to arrest them? Well, what's he going to do When
- 31:47Speaker 9: people start taking that food? They're going to say it's free.
- 31:50Speaker 9: You know, he's given it away. What's he going to
- 31:53Speaker 9: do about it? That's going to be quite something to see.
- 31:56Speaker 2: Hey, the other thing he said it'll be it won't
- 31:58Speaker 2: be till open till twenty twenty. You know, if you
- 32:01Speaker 2: went to our friend John Katsmatisa, could you build a
- 32:04Speaker 2: supermarket there, I guarantee you'd be there in three months,
- 32:06Speaker 2: not twenty twenty nine.
- 32:07Speaker 3: Sure.
- 32:08Speaker 9: Sure. So everyone's you know, as you know, mont Donnie's
- 32:11Speaker 9: hiring all these people doing god knows what but being
- 32:15Speaker 9: paid six figure salaries. So the waste is going in
- 32:19Speaker 9: high gear going on steroids again, grocery story could do
- 32:23Speaker 9: for two hundred and fifty thousand million dollars. And by
- 32:26Speaker 9: the way, that grocery store that he's proposing pays no rent,
- 32:30Speaker 9: pays no taxes, and free land, and they're going to
- 32:34Speaker 9: lose a ton of money. What's that other twenty nine
- 32:36Speaker 9: million going for? That's what I want to know. Well,
- 32:39Speaker 9: very good point. Well, Steve Forbes always great talking you everybody.
- 32:42Speaker 9: Get his latest book, Inflation. It's a wonderful book. You'll
- 32:45Speaker 9: really learn a lot from that book. Of course, read
- 32:48Speaker 9: Forbes every day and watching Steve Forbes all over television,
- 32:52Speaker 9: and we'll talk again soon. Look forward to it. Mark, Thanks,
- 32:56Speaker 9: keep up the great work.
- 32:58Speaker 2: Thanks take care. I don't forget Buck and Clay coming
- 33:01Speaker 2: up a noon Today, excellent show every day from noon
- 33:04Speaker 2: to three. Then you got the most listened to radio
- 33:07Speaker 2: show in America, Sean Hanned, he's on every day three.
- 33:10Speaker 2: Then you got Jesse Kelly at six. And you know,
- 33:12Speaker 2: we got a wonderful new show every night at nine.
- 33:14Speaker 2: It's really funny. It's a great show. It's Jimmy Fayla
- 33:17Speaker 2: every night at nine on seven to ten.
- 33:20Speaker 1: W Mar Simone he's on seven ten woo.
- 33:26Speaker 2: Well, hey, that terrible deadly shooting, mass shooting in New
- 33:33Speaker 2: Jersey at the Chick fil A. These guys walked in
- 33:37Speaker 2: and got behind the counter, started firing, shooting at people
- 33:40Speaker 2: injuring killing. Terrible, terrible thing. As of yesterday, you know,
- 33:45Speaker 2: we had no idea why. Now, police or law enforcement
- 33:48Speaker 2: sources saying they looked they think it was gang related.
- 33:50Speaker 2: They were after somebody, one gang after another gang member,
- 33:53Speaker 2: and that's why they went in to that Chick fil A.
- 33:55Speaker 2: They haven't caught the people yet, but terrible situation. So
- 34:01Speaker 2: you know, they got all that stuff, ozempic. There's a
- 34:04Speaker 2: whole bunch of those, a million of those sort of drugs,
- 34:07Speaker 2: you know, the injections, weight loss. New research coming out
- 34:11Speaker 2: saying tons and tons of side effects, are seeing all
- 34:15Speaker 2: kinds of stuff. There's a bunch of those. There's azempic,
- 34:18Speaker 2: there's with GOVI, there's Manjaro, zep bound. Everybody tells me
- 34:23Speaker 2: the best ones to take Manjaro and zep bound, those
- 34:27Speaker 2: are the two you want less side effects. You know,
- 34:29Speaker 2: we can take that ozempic. You'll lose a lot of
- 34:31Speaker 2: weight fast. But you get that ozempic face. They call
- 34:34Speaker 2: it where you know your skin starts wrinkling and droopy.
- 34:37Speaker 2: So the better ones Munjaro and zep bound. But a
- 34:41Speaker 2: new study talking of thousands of users finding everything it
- 34:46Speaker 2: causes depression, acid reflux, sleeplessness, teeth, per gum problems. I mean,
- 34:52Speaker 2: he just goes on. The list is endless and not
- 34:55Speaker 2: to mention it costs a fortune too. Hey, we got
- 34:59Speaker 2: a lot to get in the next hour. We'll get
- 35:02Speaker 2: to mom, Donnie, We'll get to Hillary. There's a big
- 35:05Speaker 2: Hillary threat on the horizon. We'll get to that coming up. Hey,
- 35:10Speaker 2: you know I'm here ten to noon every day, but
- 35:12Speaker 2: if you can't listen ten to noon, you could listen
- 35:14Speaker 2: to the show whenever you want. Just get the podcast
- 35:17Speaker 2: any place you get podcasts, easy to do back right
- 35:20Speaker 2: after the news. A whole lot more to get to
- 35:22Speaker 2: on seven to ten, wr you're listening to the Mark
- 35:26Speaker 2: Simone Show. Hey, it's Tuesday, and it's like summer today.
- 35:39Speaker 2: You're gonna have three days of summer, like eighty something degrees.
- 35:43Speaker 2: It's gonna go back to being in the fifties next
- 35:45Speaker 2: week sixties. But you get the three day summer previews,
- 35:48Speaker 2: so enjoy it. What the hell happened with the Red
- 35:52Speaker 2: Sox list so the Red Sox pitcher Garrett Crotchett Red
- 35:57Speaker 2: Sox versus Twins. The game begins, Red Sox pitcher Garrett
- 36:02Speaker 2: Crotchet on the mound, disaster gives up eleven runs and
- 36:06Speaker 2: two innings. Eleven runs total meltdown eleven runs and two innings.
- 36:13Speaker 2: It's eleven to nothing at the end of two. What
- 36:15Speaker 2: are you gonna do?
- 36:16Speaker 5: Well?
- 36:16Speaker 2: Yeah, and the Red Sox ended up losing thirteen to three.
- 36:21Speaker 2: You know, even great great pitchers remember that famous Whitey
- 36:23Speaker 2: Ford story, the big great Yankee legend. Whitey Ford, he
- 36:29Speaker 2: is early sixties Yankees. He comes out, first pitch, he
- 36:32Speaker 2: throws the first pitch, batter hits a home run. First pitch,
- 36:38Speaker 2: next batter, Whitey Ford throws one pitch, batter hits a triple.
- 36:43Speaker 2: Next batter, Whitey Ford throws one pitch, batter hits a single.
- 36:48Speaker 2: Next batter, Whitey Ford throws one pitch, batter hits another
- 36:53Speaker 2: home run. Finally, the manager comes out to the mound
- 36:56Speaker 2: and the catcher, Yogi Bear, runs up to the mound
- 36:58Speaker 2: and the manager turns to you, Yogi, does he have
- 37:01Speaker 2: it tonight? And YoY goes, how the hell would I know.
- 37:04Speaker 2: I haven't caught anything yet. I haven't caught a pitch.
- 37:07Speaker 2: So that was probably the worst opening of any picture. Hey,
- 37:11Speaker 2: you Democrats, you may have a problem. Yesterday Hillary Clinton.
- 37:18Speaker 2: This all of a sudden on Morning Joe, and I
- 37:22Speaker 2: was a little surprised. Morning Joe says, coming up the
- 37:25Speaker 2: next hour, Hillary Clinton will be with us. I can't
- 37:27Speaker 2: believe that Hillary Clinton's going to show up at MS
- 37:32Speaker 2: now in their little, tiny news studio. I remember they
- 37:35Speaker 2: were thrown out of NBC at this little studio in
- 37:38Speaker 2: Times Square at eight in the morning. Well, she didn't
- 37:40Speaker 2: show up. It was on the phone. That's how much
- 37:43Speaker 2: she thinks of Morning Joe and their three hundred thousand viewers. Yeah,
- 37:46Speaker 2: I'll just call in. But they kept her on a
- 37:49Speaker 2: long time. So she was on for about a half
- 37:50Speaker 2: hour talking about her ran, talking about how bad Trump is.
- 37:54Speaker 2: All this is Hillary for happening. Then I noticed the
- 37:59Speaker 2: rest to the day, Hillary's on a lot of shows.
- 38:02Speaker 2: You may have a problem. She's on with Anderson Cooper,
- 38:06Speaker 2: She's on with CBS. She's all over the place. Is
- 38:08Speaker 2: Hillary Clinton? I think she's getting ready to run in
- 38:13Speaker 2: twenty twenty eight, you're gonna have a problem here. You
- 38:18Speaker 2: Gavin Newsom has been the front runner, but he's not
- 38:21Speaker 2: going any place. He's not gonna make it, and he's
- 38:23Speaker 2: got this crazy wife who's really sinking everything for him.
- 38:26Speaker 2: But you got to remember the history of Democratic presidential campaigns,
- 38:30Speaker 2: if you go back through the past three years out,
- 38:34Speaker 2: four years out, there's always some pretty boy who emerges
- 38:37Speaker 2: as the big front runner. And whoever that is right now,
- 38:41Speaker 2: it's Gavin Newsom, But whoever that is always fizzles out
- 38:44Speaker 2: and bombs out and is gone. In the past, it
- 38:46Speaker 2: was John Edwards. In the past it was Gary Hart.
- 38:50Speaker 2: There's always been a bunch of them. But whoever's in
- 38:52Speaker 2: front now never gets any place, never goes any place.
- 38:54Speaker 2: And then there were other people, some of these governs,
- 39:00Speaker 2: but none of them look like they're going to really
- 39:01Speaker 2: take off. And then well what about Kamala Harris, She
- 39:04Speaker 2: says she'll run again. But in California, Eric Swallwell having
- 39:12Speaker 2: to give up his career and leave a public life
- 39:17Speaker 2: that changes the whole governor's race in California, it looked
- 39:21Speaker 2: like he'd be the front runner. Now the front runner
- 39:24Speaker 2: will be Tom Steyer, who's got no chance. He's got
- 39:27Speaker 2: no personality, he's just unpleasant guy. So somebody could jump
- 39:33Speaker 2: in there. And now Kamala Harris, apparently behind the scenes,
- 39:36Speaker 2: is looking at running for governor California. She's seriously talking
- 39:40Speaker 2: about jumping into that race. Remember it's a one party state.
- 39:44Speaker 2: If you win as the Democratic nominee, you win the governorship.
- 39:48Speaker 2: So she's seriously looking at the governor's race. That takes
- 39:52Speaker 2: her out of the presidential race. So you got a problem.
- 39:57Speaker 2: I think Hillary is back. She was all over television's
- 39:59Speaker 2: doing a lot the shows yesterday. Now she's this angry,
- 40:03Speaker 2: bitter woman, lives up in that Chappaqua estate there. He's
- 40:07Speaker 2: also got a big, beautiful townhouse Georgetown, Washington, DC. But
- 40:12Speaker 2: she's like the old lady in Sunset Boulevard. He's drinking
- 40:15Speaker 2: all day, yelling and screaming about making a comeback. But
- 40:18Speaker 2: here she was on CBS yesterday in retrospect.
- 40:21Speaker 12: Do you think Bill should have resigned in the wake
- 40:25Speaker 12: of the Monica Lewinsky scan.
- 40:26Speaker 1: Absolutely not. It wasn't an abusive power. No. Now, there are.
- 40:30Speaker 12: People who look at the incidents of the nineties and
- 40:33Speaker 12: they say a president of the United States cannot have
- 40:37Speaker 12: a consensual relationship with an intern.
- 40:40Speaker 1: The power imbalances to was an adult.
- 40:44Speaker 2: This is actually pretty funny. This is a real change
- 40:46Speaker 2: in tune. I know it's many years later. How many
- 40:52Speaker 2: years later is it, Yeah, it's like twenty five years later.
- 40:56Speaker 2: But to now act like we didn't do anything wrong,
- 41:00Speaker 2: but no, was anything wrong with No. Yeah, the president
- 41:05Speaker 2: of the United States, you're not really supposed to be
- 41:08Speaker 2: banging in turns right in the Oval Office, on the
- 41:11Speaker 2: floor of the Oval You're not supposed to be doing that. Remember,
- 41:14Speaker 2: Ronald Reagan would never take his jacket off in the
- 41:18Speaker 2: Oval Office. He thought it'd be disrespectful. Even if he
- 41:22Speaker 2: came in, you know, sometimes you come in on a
- 41:23Speaker 2: Saturday to do some work. He would never come in
- 41:25Speaker 2: without his jacket on. He thought it was disrespectful to
- 41:28Speaker 2: the Oval office. Compare that to Bill Clinton. Took his
- 41:31Speaker 2: shirt off, took his pants off, took us at me
- 41:33Speaker 2: right in the Oval Office. Let me hear that again,
- 41:36Speaker 2: she said, I mean even back then, remember when Clinton
- 41:41Speaker 2: finally had to confess, indeed, I did have an inappropriate
- 41:45Speaker 2: affair with that Miss Lewinsky and Hillary had a look
- 41:50Speaker 2: all upset, and you know. I mean, clearly it was right.
- 41:54Speaker 2: You can't justify this. But now this is going to
- 41:56Speaker 2: be her new attitude. We didn't do anything wrong. It
- 41:59Speaker 2: wasn't appraise she was as an adult.
- 42:00Speaker 1: It was in retrospect.
- 42:02Speaker 12: Do you think Bill should have resigned in the wake
- 42:05Speaker 12: of the Monica Lewinsky scan?
- 42:06Speaker 1: Absolutely not. It wasn't an abuse of power.
- 42:09Speaker 2: No, no, Well, you know, in any company, any corporation,
- 42:15Speaker 2: any business, if you're the big executive and you're forty
- 42:20Speaker 2: eight years old and you're sleeping with an underling, an
- 42:24Speaker 2: employee who is like only thirty, any time an executive
- 42:28Speaker 2: is sleeping with somebody under him, no pun intended, you're
- 42:32Speaker 2: you're not supposed to. This is you get fired. In
- 42:35Speaker 2: every company the world, everybody gets fired because it's an
- 42:39Speaker 2: imbalance of power. Now, this would be the greatest single
- 42:43Speaker 2: imbalance of power in the history of the Earth. One's
- 42:46Speaker 2: in in turn, one's president of the United States. If
- 42:51Speaker 2: you were the vice president of sales and she was
- 42:56Speaker 2: one of the salespeople, that's right there, you get fired.
- 43:00Speaker 2: This is an intern, a little intern versus the presidents.
- 43:05Speaker 2: So she's saying it's not it's not inappropriate, it's ridiculous.
- 43:10Speaker 12: People who look at the incidents of the nineties and
- 43:13Speaker 12: they say a president of the United States cannot have
- 43:17Speaker 12: a consensual relationship with an intern.
- 43:20Speaker 1: The power imbalances to was an adult.
- 43:23Speaker 2: She was an adult, yet she was twenty two starstruck.
- 43:28Speaker 2: I mean twenty two, and she wasn't the most mature
- 43:31Speaker 2: twenty two year old. So I think you got a
- 43:33Speaker 2: problem with Democrats. She's running again. You're not getting rid
- 43:36Speaker 2: of her. She's back. And also, I'm sure she's terrified
- 43:42Speaker 2: of running against Donald Trump because remember he just brutalized
- 43:45Speaker 2: her in three debates. He just slapped her around in
- 43:47Speaker 2: those debates. So Trump can't run, he's term limited out.
- 43:51Speaker 2: So she's probably thinking to herself, I don't want to tangle
- 43:54Speaker 2: him again. But I could beat Marco Rubio, I can
- 43:57Speaker 2: beat jd. Vance And what would Rubio run on? His
- 44:00Speaker 2: qualifications are a secretary of State? Well so was she?
- 44:06Speaker 2: What's fans qualifying? Well, the vice president? Well so was she?
- 44:09Speaker 2: Kind of to Bill Clinton. So yeah, I think you're
- 44:15Speaker 2: can have a problem. You're not getting rid of her
- 44:16Speaker 2: that easy. Victor Orban Hungary's leader a strong man or
- 44:21Speaker 2: band out of power. Hey, by the way. You know,
- 44:24Speaker 2: they're acting like it's a big, big shock. It was
- 44:26Speaker 2: not a shock to anybody. Or Band's polling showed he
- 44:29Speaker 2: would lose. He had John McLaughlin, the greatest poster in
- 44:32Speaker 2: the world. But from what I hear, the polls, his
- 44:35Speaker 2: private polls showed he wasn't going to make it. They
- 44:37Speaker 2: really seriously didn't think he'd make it. Or Band had
- 44:40Speaker 2: all kinds of problems from the funny business of money,
- 44:46Speaker 2: corruption and all kinds of things all over the place
- 44:48Speaker 2: in Hungary, a lot of corruption there. Also, he'd gotten
- 44:52Speaker 2: too close to Putin. He got way too tangled up
- 44:56Speaker 2: with Putin. People didn't like that, and they just wanted
- 44:59Speaker 2: him gone. Hey, Congress is back today in Washington, DC. Yeah,
- 45:04Speaker 2: they took a three week vacation. It's today the fourteenth. Yeah,
- 45:09Speaker 2: three weeks later, they're back. Three weeks. They got a vacation.
- 45:13Speaker 2: They just write this stuff into the rules. They get
- 45:15Speaker 2: a three week vacation for Easter. So they're back today.
- 45:18Speaker 2: We'll see what they do. You know, this Hassan Piker,
- 45:22Speaker 2: you're going to hear about this guy lot, Hassan Piker.
- 45:26Speaker 2: There's a lot of scandal going on here. But just
- 45:29Speaker 2: you'll hear the name and maybe not know what it is.
- 45:32Speaker 2: Joe Rogan is the biggest thing on earth, especially for Republicans,
- 45:36Speaker 2: because Rogan's podcast can change elections, can really affect things.
- 45:43Speaker 2: I think it's one of the reasons, one of the
- 45:46Speaker 2: major reasons Donald Trump won. You remember when he did
- 45:49Speaker 2: Joe Rogan's podcast, and it was about two hours. It
- 45:53Speaker 2: got to eighty million people. You know, in the old days,
- 45:57Speaker 2: if you want to become president, you have to buy
- 45:58Speaker 2: these TV commercials, run network TV commercials. Well, nowadays those
- 46:02Speaker 2: don't mean a damn thing. Nobody watches network TV anymore.
- 46:07Speaker 2: Two million people at the most, if you're lucky, maybe
- 46:10Speaker 2: a million and a half. That's all you're reaching with
- 46:12Speaker 2: those TV commercials. If you're on Joe Rogan's podcast, you're
- 46:16Speaker 2: talking to eighty million people. Even if it's not great
- 46:21Speaker 2: like Kamala or somebody like that, you know, you might
- 46:23Speaker 2: get to even if it's not the biggest Joe Rogan podcast,
- 46:27Speaker 2: you'll get the forty five million people, but eighty million people.
- 46:30Speaker 2: So it's a very very powerful thing.
- 46:34Speaker 9: You know.
- 46:35Speaker 2: It's like talk radio. Rush Limbaugh was the biggest thing
- 46:38Speaker 2: in talk radio to be endorsed by Rush, or get
- 46:42Speaker 2: some good coverage on Russia. Why that meant the world?
- 46:44Speaker 2: So Republicans conservatives tend to totally dominate talk radio. So
- 46:50Speaker 2: for years, Democrats is, we've got to get that going
- 46:55Speaker 2: for us. We need that. So they created Air America,
- 46:59Speaker 2: trying to create their own Rush limbo. They came up
- 47:02Speaker 2: with the worst host you ever saw. The big star
- 47:05Speaker 2: was Al Franken. You remember Al Franken. They thought he'll
- 47:08Speaker 2: be a good talk show host, and he came in
- 47:11Speaker 2: and he talked like this, Al Franken with his voice
- 47:14Speaker 2: and all remember imagine four as every guy talking like this.
- 47:17Speaker 2: And he did an NPR kind of show with a
- 47:20Speaker 2: lot of NPR type of guests. And who else did
- 47:23Speaker 2: they have on well, one late night one was Rachel
- 47:28Speaker 2: Maddow who went onto a big career. Who else was
- 47:31Speaker 2: on there? I was Al Franken, Janine Garafflo, Garafflo, whatever
- 47:38Speaker 2: name is. She had a show. She was kind of cute,
- 47:40Speaker 2: but like an angry, screaming left wing I don't remember,
- 47:43Speaker 2: and I can't remember who the rest of them were,
- 47:46Speaker 2: but that totally bombs. So what they're doing now, they're
- 47:48Speaker 2: trying to create a Joe Rogan. Because of these Joe
- 47:52Speaker 2: Rogan types, Conservatives are dominating podcasting, so they're trying to
- 47:56Speaker 2: catch up. So they came up with this Hassan Piker.
- 47:59Speaker 2: They decided this would be their guy. He had what
- 48:02Speaker 2: looked like a pretty popular podcast, so they all got
- 48:06Speaker 2: behind him. Hassan Piker, he'll be our Joe Rogan. Well,
- 48:10Speaker 2: the problem is that people have been digging into Hassan
- 48:12Speaker 2: Piker in the past and his old comments and was
- 48:15Speaker 2: all about how Hamas is much much more noble than Israel.
- 48:21Speaker 2: Nine to eleven. We deserved it. We were awful. We
- 48:24Speaker 2: deserved nine to eleven. They just found tons of antisemitic,
- 48:29Speaker 2: pro terrorist nonsense. So now the Democrats don't know what
- 48:33Speaker 2: the hell they do. Should they distance themselves from Hassan Piker.
- 48:36Speaker 2: They're too tied into him, so he's going to be
- 48:39Speaker 2: a big, big liability for them. Hey, mom, Donnie embracing
- 48:43Speaker 2: this socialism. You know, you figure, well, it's easy to
- 48:47Speaker 2: be a socialist when you're an ivy league college academic
- 48:50Speaker 2: idiot on a campus, but when you're actually in a
- 48:53Speaker 2: real job managing a city, you're going to reality. He'll
- 48:56Speaker 2: start to wake you up. Now, Nope, he still believes
- 48:59Speaker 2: in the socialism. Even the classic expression about what's wrong
- 49:04Speaker 2: with socialism? Listen, take that on.
- 49:06Speaker 5: I have thought often of the Margaret Chasters quote.
- 49:09Speaker 2: The problem with.
- 49:10Speaker 13: Socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.
- 49:15Speaker 9: If anything, my friends, it seems that you eventually need
- 49:18Speaker 9: a socialist to clean up the mess.
- 49:21Speaker 2: There you go. Now, this is your typical college mentality,
- 49:28Speaker 2: or Harvard Columbia Ivy League campus mentality. You're like starry eyed, dreaming, idealistic,
- 49:38Speaker 2: believe all this nonsense even though it has no reality
- 49:42Speaker 2: or anything practical about it. Tell what you still believe it. Hey,
- 49:47Speaker 2: Harvey Weinstein begins his third trial today trying to beat
- 49:50Speaker 2: these rape charges. He's back on trial. When you're a prisoner,
- 49:57Speaker 2: and remember, when you're Harvey Weinstein' be living this life
- 50:00Speaker 2: of luxury for decades, and all of a sudden you're
- 50:02Speaker 2: in Riker's Island, You're in prison, and you see, why
- 50:06Speaker 2: keep going back on trial, Why keep fighting the case?
- 50:08Speaker 2: Why keep going back into court? Because if you're in prison,
- 50:12Speaker 2: in a terrible dungeon of a prison, eating prison food,
- 50:17Speaker 2: anytime you can go to court. It's like going to
- 50:19Speaker 2: Monte Carlo. It's like a resort compared to the courtroom.
- 50:24Speaker 2: When you're in the courtroom, you get dressed up. You
- 50:26Speaker 2: sitting in a nice, beautiful room with normal people. There's guards,
- 50:31Speaker 2: it's safe. There's a lot of recesses, breaks, lunch where
- 50:35Speaker 2: you go into the courthouse cafeteria, which is like a
- 50:39Speaker 2: five star dining compared to what you're eating in prison.
- 50:43Speaker 2: So if you can spend the thirty days in a
- 50:44Speaker 2: courtroom every day, it's much much better than sitting in
- 50:48Speaker 2: your prison cell. So they love going back to trial.
- 50:55Speaker 2: Here's kind of a Now this is an interesting story.
- 50:59Speaker 2: There's a couple products coming out. You're gonna be hearing
- 51:01Speaker 2: about these that they go in your toilet. One is
- 51:05Speaker 2: like a white thing looks like a hockey puck, and
- 51:07Speaker 2: others little you're supposed to put this in your toilet.
- 51:10Speaker 2: It analyzes your urine and all the other stuff that
- 51:14Speaker 2: comes out. It analyzes them because that can tell you
- 51:18Speaker 2: a lot about your health. A lot of times you
- 51:21Speaker 2: go to a doctor for a big physical part of that,
- 51:23Speaker 2: I need a urine sample because from that they can,
- 51:27Speaker 2: you know, analyze that see all kinds of things about
- 51:29Speaker 2: your health. Same thing with a stool sample. So apparently
- 51:33Speaker 2: this is gonna become They think it's gonna be huge.
- 51:34Speaker 2: Everybody's gonna put this in their toilet, and I guess
- 51:38Speaker 2: it bluetooths your phone and gives you a whole breakdown
- 51:41Speaker 2: of what's in there. It can detect early detection of
- 51:44Speaker 2: any medical problems, diseases, any of that kind of stuff. Now,
- 51:48Speaker 2: the only problem we already have this for sleep. Like
- 51:51Speaker 2: I got my Apple Watch on. I sleep with this on.
- 51:53Speaker 2: I wake up in the morning, first thing I do
- 51:56Speaker 2: is go to my phone and check my sleep score.
- 51:58Speaker 2: I didn't do well last night. I got a low
- 52:00Speaker 2: sleep score. It was awake too much. And then I
- 52:04Speaker 2: have this other one. This is a good tracker. It's
- 52:05Speaker 2: called sleep Cycle. This is the best one. Yeah, I
- 52:09Speaker 2: got a low rating on there last night. And then
- 52:11Speaker 2: my snoring nine minutes of snoring. It records your snoring too.
- 52:14Speaker 2: You can listen to it. The reason I got a
- 52:17Speaker 2: low score too much talking in my sleep a lot
- 52:22Speaker 2: of Now, the truth is I wasn't talking to my
- 52:25Speaker 2: it's the TV. I like to fall asleep with the TV.
- 52:27Speaker 2: So it sounded to this thing like I was talking
- 52:31Speaker 2: in my sleep. It was actually the TV on, but
- 52:34Speaker 2: it drives you nuts because you don't and then you
- 52:36Speaker 2: show it to your doctor. Hey, look at this. This
- 52:38Speaker 2: doesn't it And he kind of rolls his eyes, you know,
- 52:40Speaker 2: stop with your Apple Watch. So that's the problem with
- 52:43Speaker 2: this thing that everybody's gonna put in their toilet. You're
- 52:45Speaker 2: gonna get a lot of false positives, false negatives, false this,
- 52:50Speaker 2: but you're gonna be seeing a lot of this. Hey, Well,
- 52:52Speaker 2: take some calls. Next. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 52:55Speaker 2: seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three two one
- 52:59Speaker 2: zero seven set up.
- 53:00Speaker 1: Pre said on the iHeartRadio app to wor to hear
- 53:04Speaker 1: Mark live. Set another for Mark's podcast to hear him
- 53:08Speaker 1: any time. Now back to Mark Simon on woor.
- 53:13Speaker 2: Well, let's take some calls. Let's go to Paul Saratoga,
- 53:17Speaker 2: New York. Hey, Paul, how you doing?
- 53:20Speaker 8: Hey, I'm doing well. Mark, Thank you.
- 53:22Speaker 13: I'm calling you because I think you're my Trump whisper.
- 53:25Speaker 13: And Trump has been confused. He said Alan to never
- 53:29Speaker 13: never ever have a nuclear bomb, and yet apparently he
- 53:32Speaker 13: up at them twenty years of no enrichment, and to me,
- 53:35Speaker 13: twenty years is not never. So what do you think?
- 53:38Speaker 2: Absolutely right? I don't like it either it doesn't sound good,
- 53:41Speaker 2: but it's a negotiation, and Trump changes positions a lot
- 53:46Speaker 2: in negotiations. So it's like the weather in New York.
- 53:49Speaker 2: If you don't like it, wait fifteen minutes.
- 53:51Speaker 13: You know, so think, Oh, I think that's right. But
- 53:54Speaker 13: if you start at twenty, you can only go down.
- 53:56Speaker 13: You can't go up.
- 53:57Speaker 2: Uh, you forgot. It's Donald Trump. That applies normally, but
- 54:01Speaker 2: it's Donald drop. The whole thing could change in two weeks.
- 54:04Speaker 2: But you're not wrong, but I think it'll change. Let's
- 54:07Speaker 2: go to Bonnie and Tom's river. Bonnie, how you doing,
- 54:11Speaker 2: my Mark?
- 54:12Speaker 5: Listen.
- 54:12Speaker 13: I knew it.
- 54:13Speaker 7: I knew that woman was dusting off her pants.
- 54:17Speaker 5: Suit for a reason.
- 54:19Speaker 2: Who oh Hillary, Yeah, yeah, it looks like she's getting
- 54:22Speaker 2: ready to run. She's getting the broom out.
- 54:24Speaker 7: How do we get rid of her?
- 54:26Speaker 2: Well, Bill's tried for years. It can't be done.
- 54:30Speaker 7: She watched the dance in that ballroom.
- 54:32Speaker 8: That's the whole thing.
- 54:35Speaker 2: Yeah. Now, remember she's got no shot. I mean, think
- 54:39Speaker 2: about this. She was at the height of her power
- 54:43Speaker 2: way back when two thousand and eight, at the absolute
- 54:48Speaker 2: zenith of her career. Two thousand and eight, she was
- 54:50Speaker 2: the senator. She decides, now's the time she'll run for president.
- 54:54Speaker 2: Two thousand and eight. A total rookie, a total rookie
- 55:00Speaker 2: with two weeks in politics, comes out of nowhere and
- 55:02Speaker 2: takes the nomination nomination away Barack Obama. Obama just wipes
- 55:08Speaker 2: her out, gets the nomination away from her. Well, she
- 55:12Speaker 2: waits eight years, prepares. She's Secretary of State, and now
- 55:17Speaker 2: she's got even more credentials and even bigger resume. This
- 55:20Speaker 2: time she'll run a total amateur, a guy who's never
- 55:25Speaker 2: been in politics for one second, A total amateur comes
- 55:29Speaker 2: out of nowhere and beats her Donald Trump and takes
- 55:32Speaker 2: it away from her. So she's now ninety seven years old.
- 55:36Speaker 2: She's an old, drunken, old hag in Westchester, hasn't worked
- 55:40Speaker 2: in years, hasn't that a job in years. So she's
- 55:43Speaker 2: gonna have no shot, no shot. Don't worry about her.
- 55:47Speaker 2: Let's go to Vincent in Brooklyn.
- 55:48Speaker 3: Vincent, how you doing, Good morning, Mack, Good morning mar Mark.
- 55:52Speaker 3: Steve Forbes stole my don though, when he said, what's
- 55:55Speaker 3: Mondamini gonna do when a bunch of homeless people come
- 55:59Speaker 3: into the Monday Domi supermarket with black trash? Bags, clean
- 56:03Speaker 3: out the place. And if he's charging below market value
- 56:06Speaker 3: for the food, how's he going to replenish it? Mark,
- 56:09Speaker 3: I don't believe that crime is decreasing in New York
- 56:13Speaker 3: City because Jessicatition last week comes out and says, oh,
- 56:17Speaker 3: crime is down, this, that and the other, And Sunday
- 56:20Speaker 3: night the Post reports that crime in the subway is
- 56:24Speaker 3: up twenty one percent. Witnessed the guy over the weekend
- 56:28Speaker 3: who was doing aginsu knife demonstration in the subway and
- 56:33Speaker 3: wounded free senior citizens. And we have last week the
- 56:37Speaker 3: black version of Brits Cassidy and the Sundance Kid on
- 56:41Speaker 3: the back of a moped like a bunch of cowboys
- 56:44Speaker 3: in Yahoo's squeezing off a shot and then going the
- 56:48Speaker 3: wrong way. The guy gets in an accident, breaks his
- 56:51Speaker 3: leg and it's over. He has to go to the.
- 56:55Speaker 14: Hospital. And then we got these maniacs in Jersey going
- 56:59Speaker 14: into a chick fill a during dinner time, jumping behind
- 57:03Speaker 14: the counter and squeezing off a bunch of shots and
- 57:06Speaker 14: killing somebody. The crime I've never seen it as audacious
- 57:11Speaker 14: as this. Oh, not to leave out last week in
- 57:14Speaker 14: the Bronx, a bunch of thieves pull up with hoodies
- 57:18Speaker 14: and black masks at a bmwsuv, pull up in front
- 57:23Speaker 14: of a jewelry store, come out with fifteen pounds sledgehammers,
- 57:27Speaker 14: break the windows, break the doors. The inside security camera
- 57:31Speaker 14: shows them crashing all the display cases, robbing the jewelry.
- 57:37Speaker 14: They're not they're not even afraid.
- 57:39Speaker 2: Normally it is out of control. Vincent, great call, great point.
- 57:43Speaker 2: But Mom Donnie has come up with a way to
- 57:46Speaker 2: bring down the crime numbers, and that has changed the
- 57:49Speaker 2: way you count them. He's changed the way you counted.
- 57:51Speaker 2: So they did that with inflation years ago, remember under
- 57:55Speaker 2: Jimmy Carter who inflations in nineteen, So they changed the
- 57:59Speaker 2: way they count that. They don't include energy anymore. They
- 58:01Speaker 2: don't include food in that number. That way, the number
- 58:04Speaker 2: got lower. So hey, when we come back, Bill O'Reilly
- 58:07Speaker 2: will be with us next. There's lots to talk to
- 58:09Speaker 2: him about, and we'll get to that in just a
- 58:11Speaker 2: moment on seven to ten wor The Marks Them Own.
- 58:15Speaker 1: Show on seven ten wor.
- 58:20Speaker 2: Well, Bill O'Reilly the number one TV anchor for decades,
- 58:23Speaker 2: the number one best selling non fiction author on Earth.
- 58:27Speaker 2: He's got, of course, the TV show everything's at billoreilly
- 58:30Speaker 2: dot com. All his great books, and there's also his
- 58:33Speaker 2: YouTube channel. Great stuff there Bill O'Reilly at YouTube and
- 58:37Speaker 2: now the podcast called We'll Do It Live. The first
- 58:41Speaker 2: few episodes excellent. The latest episode is Bill O'Reilly and
- 58:45Speaker 2: Howie Mandel. You got to watch his new podcast, We'll
- 58:48Speaker 2: Do It Live, and he's with us right now. Bill O'Reilly,
- 58:52Speaker 2: how you.
- 58:52Speaker 10: Doing'm sorting through a lot of stuff. How about you?
- 58:57Speaker 2: I'm good. Explain your work ethic. A lot of people
- 59:00Speaker 2: could learn from this. You got a million things that
- 59:03Speaker 2: you're like Trump, you keep adding more and more to
- 59:05Speaker 2: that workload.
- 59:07Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 59:07Speaker 10: I had a big discussion in my staff today and
- 59:10Speaker 10: I just said, I just can't do any more work.
- 59:14Speaker 10: I'm at the limit of my capacity. I can't do anymore.
- 59:20Speaker 10: You know, it's hard to get people with my experience
- 59:24Speaker 10: to work in the media these days because number one,
- 59:33Speaker 10: we pay well, but most don't. Most operations don and
- 59:37Speaker 10: number two, the structure is that the Democratic Party now
- 59:44Speaker 10: goes exclusively to CNN and MS and the Republican Party
- 59:51Speaker 10: goes exclusively to Fox News, and so independent contractors like me,
- 1:00:00Speaker 10: we have to work very hard to get good guests
- 1:00:04Speaker 10: on the program because it's an easy play for them
- 1:00:08Speaker 10: to go over to the others and not going to
- 1:00:10Speaker 10: be challenged. There a lot of times they'll tell them
- 1:00:14Speaker 10: the questions in advance, which is of course against every
- 1:00:18Speaker 10: journalistic ethic, but that doesn't matter anymore, and so they go, well,
- 1:00:23Speaker 10: why do I want to do? O'Reilly? You might give
- 1:00:25Speaker 10: me a hard time when I can walk into any
- 1:00:29Speaker 10: Fox show and I'll scape And that's what's going on.
- 1:00:34Speaker 10: So it's made things a lot more difficult in that area.
- 1:00:40Speaker 10: We are at the top of the chart independently because
- 1:00:43Speaker 10: we have so many viewers, but still there are a
- 1:00:46Speaker 10: lot of people, like the Catholic Church that don't want
- 1:00:51Speaker 10: to go up against me. They would much rather go
- 1:00:54Speaker 10: on the sympathetic channels.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: Well, Riley, they say, you can't fight with a pope.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: Why you got suicide? Yeh, But didn't Donald Trump do
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: this with the last pope a few years ago and
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: everything was fine a couple of weeks later.
- 1:01:10Speaker 10: Yeah, I mean there can be a time I could
- 1:01:13Speaker 10: I could mediate between Pope Leo and President Trump. I
- 1:01:18Speaker 10: could do it because you have to understand where both
- 1:01:21Speaker 10: are coming from, and it's not necessarily that they're clashing.
- 1:01:26Speaker 10: They just have a different view of life and they
- 1:01:29Speaker 10: have different mandates. And once that's explained to people, then
- 1:01:35Speaker 10: you take a lot of the political stuff out of it.
- 1:01:39Speaker 10: For example, I mean, if you know your Bible, when
- 1:01:45Speaker 10: Jesus was being convicted and crucified, he was taunted, well,
- 1:01:51Speaker 10: if you're the king of the Jews, bring down your
- 1:01:54Speaker 10: army and stop all this. And he just looked at them,
- 1:01:58Speaker 10: you know, at a tormentor seems they work. And you know,
- 1:02:04Speaker 10: the philosophy of the Catholic Church is passivism. They're passive.
- 1:02:11Speaker 10: It's peace and negotiation whatever. Trump is a confrontational guy
- 1:02:20Speaker 10: because he's in charge of solving problems. The Catholic Church
- 1:02:24Speaker 10: does not solve problems. It doesn't. It's not in business
- 1:02:30Speaker 10: to do that. It gives you guidance on how to
- 1:02:33Speaker 10: live on a personal level. But an acting president, or
- 1:02:39Speaker 10: you would think a leader of any country, their job
- 1:02:44Speaker 10: is to solve the problems. And once you get that out,
- 1:02:48Speaker 10: you could work together as some extent. But that's not happening.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: Yeah, But this is a pope that's a little more
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: political than he probably should be, is a little too
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: far to the left. And how does anybody defend the
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: Iranian regime, this terrorist regime.
- 1:03:07Speaker 10: He's not really defending the regime, but he doesn't have
- 1:03:11Speaker 10: a realistic point of view on how to deal with
- 1:03:14Speaker 10: the regime. I think that's a fair statement. We're talking
- 1:03:18Speaker 10: about Leo now. So when thirty thousand people were killed
- 1:03:25Speaker 10: in Iran by the government, you didn't hear a word
- 1:03:28Speaker 10: from the Vatican, right, I didn't know, and I'm a Catholic.
- 1:03:36Speaker 10: I ain't hear a word. So what is you know?
- 1:03:42Speaker 10: Come on, if you're going to say, as the leader
- 1:03:47Speaker 10: of the Catholic Church, that give piece of chance and
- 1:03:52Speaker 10: you've got thirty thousand bodies on the floor, you've got
- 1:03:58Speaker 10: to discuss that. And that's where this whole thing falls apart.
- 1:04:03Speaker 10: But I think it could be put back together again
- 1:04:06Speaker 10: if the parties would, you know, stop all the one upsmanship,
- 1:04:11Speaker 10: because it doesn't do Trump any good to criticize the
- 1:04:14Speaker 10: pope at all none. He gets nothing out of that.
- 1:04:18Speaker 10: And all the pagan media people who haven't seen a
- 1:04:21Speaker 10: choice since they were baptized, Okay, they're running around screaming,
- 1:04:25Speaker 10: oh really doing this?
- 1:04:27Speaker 14: Not going to go out of the pope.
- 1:04:28Speaker 10: He couldn't get us about the pope, you mark the pope. Okay, So,
- 1:04:36Speaker 10: I mean there's so much hypocrisy in this.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: Yeah, but listen, you're you wrote the book on Trump.
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: You shouldn't put the Jesus picture up, you shouldn't attack
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: the pope. But he always does this stuff. He loves
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: to rile up his enemies.
- 1:04:49Speaker 10: He but this one he's working against him now. So
- 1:04:54Speaker 10: he's losing popular opinion throughout the world. And it's pretty
- 1:04:58Speaker 10: amazing when a ra is topping you and poperly popular opinion.
- 1:05:03Speaker 10: So you got to go to plan B. And Plan
- 1:05:07Speaker 10: B could have to be an explanation of why we're
- 1:05:10Speaker 10: doing what we're doing. And you know, we respect people
- 1:05:15Speaker 10: who disagree with us, but we have an obligation to
- 1:05:19Speaker 10: protect people from a theocracy that is very close to
- 1:05:24Speaker 10: getting a nuclear weapon. I mean, it's got to be
- 1:05:27Speaker 10: done that in that kind of a manner, he can't
- 1:05:30Speaker 10: be done. You know, four in the morning, pictures of
- 1:05:33Speaker 10: Jesus go out with Trump's face on it. When good
- 1:05:36Speaker 10: does that do him? It doesn't do him any good,
- 1:05:41Speaker 10: he seems, so I don't know. I mean, I'm not
- 1:05:43Speaker 10: in there. I'm not telling him more suggesting anything to
- 1:05:48Speaker 10: the person I'm going to see him next week. I
- 1:05:51Speaker 10: might ask him about it, but we'll see.
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: Hey, let me ask you something. Hillary Clinton's on Morning Shoe,
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: She's on this, She's on CBS all over television yesterday.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: Is this woman thinking she's going to be a viable
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: candidate in twenty twenty eight? Is she's looking to make
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: a come?
- 1:06:07Speaker 10: I think that's absolutely an acute observation you're making. What's
- 1:06:13Speaker 10: in it for her to run out and do all this?
- 1:06:17Speaker 10: She sees the weakness of the field. There's nobody there,
- 1:06:21Speaker 10: so I don't know how old she is, but she
- 1:06:25Speaker 10: still has energy and she's still a big name. So
- 1:06:30Speaker 10: stranger things have happened.
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: Yeah, but every time she's run for president ends in disaster.
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: First time a rookie beater Barack Obama, second time a
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: total amateur Donald Trump beater. Doesn't she realize that maybe
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: she wasn't cut out to be president?
- 1:06:43Speaker 10: No, she doesn't realize that. She realizes that she's more
- 1:06:47Speaker 10: credible than Kamila Harris, and there's nobody else knows them,
- 1:06:51Speaker 10: and these people, and she thinks she can handle them
- 1:06:54Speaker 10: pretty really easily. So that's how she's seeing it, that
- 1:06:58Speaker 10: there might be another opportunity for her.
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: Yeah. Hey, yeah, Bill a righty. You've read the New
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: York Times, even the Wall Street Journal at Gerard Baker
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: the right these things ran is a total failure, where
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: a total disaster with how do they say that things
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: are going pretty well in Iran? Not the talks, but
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: we've certainly done a lot of damage to them.
- 1:07:16Speaker 10: Yeah, and that's because they feel that Trump is more
- 1:07:20Speaker 10: of a danger to the world than I wrong. No,
- 1:07:24Speaker 10: they do, They absolutely do, and that's why that's happening.
- 1:07:30Speaker 10: So they're going to spend negative everything that happens and
- 1:07:35Speaker 10: try to even if Trump does prevail any end and
- 1:07:39Speaker 10: get some kind of treaty that works out, then they'll
- 1:07:43Speaker 10: they'll still pound him and say this is bad or
- 1:07:46Speaker 10: this is bad. They're never going to say Donald Trump
- 1:07:50Speaker 10: did anything well.
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: Ever, Hey, I've looked at these talks with Iran and
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: it's leaking out now that we were asking no nuclear
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: material of any kind for twenty years. That's kicking the can.
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: It is further down the road, but it's still kicking
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: the can down the road. And I'm a little surprised
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: that Trump would agree to any time limit.
- 1:08:12Speaker 10: Well, you're going to look at who's resident and from
- 1:08:15Speaker 10: Carter on because Carter got so hammered by the Iranians.
- 1:08:20Speaker 10: That's why I lost to Reagan. Nobody wanted to do
- 1:08:25Speaker 10: with them, and so Trump's the first one who's dealt
- 1:08:30Speaker 10: with them since nineteen eighty. It's a long, long period
- 1:08:34Speaker 10: of time. And I say at the very beginning, this
- 1:08:38Speaker 10: is the biggest gamble Donald Trump has ever taken in
- 1:08:41Speaker 10: this entire life. Because it might not work out. Now
- 1:08:46Speaker 10: I think it will. I think Hormuz is going to
- 1:08:50Speaker 10: be a very successful campaign by the United States. But
- 1:08:58Speaker 10: if it doesn't, Trump's going to pounded in November.
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: Well we'll see. Hey, everybody, check out Bill O'Reilly's YouTube channel.
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: There's great stuff there. Go to Bill O'Reilly dot com.

- 1:09:21Speaker 10: Yep, yep, And we're streaming along on that thing. It's
- 1:09:26Speaker 10: got a lot of views, millions of views, and we're
- 1:09:31Speaker 10: pleasantly surprised.
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: Simon Yeah comes out and the new ones every Thursday right.
- 1:09:35Speaker 10: Yep. Every Thursday we drop it.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: So I love the Steve Sharippa one. There's some great
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: ones there, the Steve Kroft one. The latest is Howie
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: Mandel will do it live. And what's the best place
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: to go to see that? YouTube?
- 1:09:48Speaker 10: Yep, YouTube is where we are.
- 1:09:50Speaker 3: But we make it easy.
- 1:09:51Speaker 10: Just go to Bill O'Reilly dot com. You have a
- 1:09:53Speaker 10: little icon, you push it and bang it magically appears.
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: Everybody go to be You.
- 1:09:58Speaker 10: Can't do anything. I can't do anything.
- 1:10:00Speaker 3: More than that.
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: Everybody go to Bill O'Reilly dot com. Everything is there,
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: the books too, everything Bill O'Reilly dot com. Bill O'Reilly,
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: thanks for being with us.
- 1:10:11Speaker 10: Pleasure having me. Mark, appreciate it.
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: Take care, Hey, Coming up, Buck and Clay they're going
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: to be here at noon today right after the news.
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: Three hours of Buck and Clay in an excellent show.
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: And you know that Curtis is back. He's here Curtis
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: Lee every morning with Larry MENTI, the two of them together,
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: it's a great show. Six to ten on seven ten wo.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: R it's more O Mark, mister New York on seven
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: ten WR.
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: Well, as you know, the talks with Iran broke off,
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: they were in Pakistan. You know, Saturday they talked for
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: twenty one hours. They were unable to come to an agreement.
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: That's it. You know, their talks broke off. Apparently behind
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: the scenes, the President is telling everybody involved, stay in Pakistan,
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: stay in Islama Bad. He's expecting the talks will resume
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: very quickly and maybe in the next maybe tomorrow, maybe Thursday.
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: Definitely by Friday. Thinks the talks will resume. Now there's
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: the Pakistan Field Marshal General Assim Munier. He's to go between,
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: and Trump is working with him, and they feel things
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: are going to pick up and resume very quickly. So
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: that means Steve Witkoff and maybe jd Vance I don't
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: know if you'll go this time. That means they have
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: to go back to this. They say, it's a five
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: star hotel in Pakistan. Look at this. This doesn't look
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: like a five star hotel. But it's Pakistan. It's Islama Bad, Pakistan,
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: so they may have to go back there. Can you
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: imagine going to Islamabad, Pakistan, sitting in a conference room
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: talking to Iranians for twenty one hours? Does this sound
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: like a lot of fun to you? I don't think
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: so or is Obama would say Pakistan. Remember he used
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: to say it's Pakistan. But whenever Obama Michigan say in
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: Pakistan Pakistan, that's a liberal thing. That's an elitist, ivy
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: league liberal thing to pretend that there's some real pronunciation
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: that you don't know about, only he knows about it,
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: So expect that to resume. Also, Hey, this is just
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: coming out. Joe Biden did not want to pick Kamala
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: Harris as his vice president. He was forced to by
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: Obama and the party leaders. They pushed Kamala Harris on
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: and he had no choice. Now, it turns out he
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: wanted Gretchen Whittner, the Michigan governor, not the most impressive
