- Michelle Harris: music music Welcome back to another episode of Reality Hits Matt. I'm your host, Michelle. And I'm Matt. Welcome to this very special episode. We are very excited to introduce a very special guest. She has been a friend of mine for over 10 years. She is one of the funniest people I know. And I cannot wait to cover. Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season one with her. She's been a true fan since the beginning she has also encouraged this podcast through one of our dinner dates with a bunch of friends. So she was the one that told me I needed to watch so I could fully understand the context of all the drama going on ⁓ I was just catching on when I was watching Dancing with the Stars. I want to welcome to the podcast Miss Sylvia Driver. Welcome, Sylvia. Sylvia: Thank you. Hi, Michelle and Matt. Thank you so much. I'm so excited to be on the podcast. I am an avid listener. Hello. Michelle Harris: Hi, Sohia. Yeah, we're happy to have you here. We are very excited to have you. And like Michelle said, you are one of the main reasons we started this. When we came up to New Hampshire for the Thanksgiving, we went out. Christmas. No, it's Thanksgiving. We went up. Yeah, Thanksgiving. Sylvia: Hahaha! Michelle Harris: I am wrong 90 % of the time. to New Hampshire for Thanksgiving and we came down to Boston for a night and went out to dinner with you and... Carrie and Connor. Carrie and Connor. And Kevin. And Kevin. you and Michelle were talking about Dancing the Stars and Whitney and Secret Lives and how, you know... ⁓ Sylvia: I'm Kevin. Michelle Harris: Whitney is the problem. And Michelle didn't think that from. think you saw what? Maybe one or two episodes at that point. I had seen zero episodes. I you had seen like maybe one episode. No, I had just gotten to know Whitney through Dancing with the Stars, and she had been on a couple of podcasts and I saw like interviews with her and I was just like, she just doesn't seem like a bad person. Yeah. So I was kind of like. Is it just reality TV? And so me, it was mostly me, Sylvia and Carrie talking about it. And they were convincing me to like, no, you got to watch the show. You got to understand it more. So I watched the first episode and then I ended up texting them, being like, I still don't think Whitney's a bad person. ⁓ that's what I was explaining to you was like, ⁓ told me to watch the show. I watched it. I don't think that Whitney is a bad person. I'm like, please explain it to me. And then so it kind of like spawned this whole conversation and dialogue between Matt and I. Cause I'm like, someone explain it to me. I don't get it. Yeah. And after we had gotten back, you had actually flown down to North Carolina And when you flew, back from there, I had picked you up and we stopped at Guinness. We were sitting at the bar at Guinness and that's when you started explaining to me, know, think Sylvia and Carrie are wrong. Whitney's not a bad person based on one episode. One episode. I'm so that they're wrong, but like, you know, why are they bashing this girl? And you know, they've seen all the seasons and all the episodes, but from the get-go, you know, you did Defender and I think your tune is changing. Big time. But last episode while we were talking there is the we were like, shit, we need to record this like this. This discussion needs to be recorded. Yeah. And that's what spawned the podcast. So, Sylvia, thank you. Huge part of getting Michelle all fired up on Dancing with the Stars and Secret Lives of Mormon Wives connections. Yeah. And really starting the podcast here. So we're super happy to have you. Sylvia: ⁓ yeah. You know I love a good argument. Michelle Harris: Yeah, all season one, I was like, yeah, I don't see the problem with Whitney. I don't know why everybody's out to get Whitney. And then at the end, you're like, well, shit, Whitney, was shitty. Really might not be that great of a person. So yeah. Speaking that, do you want to give our quick recap of last episode? Episode eight. Yes. Yeah. So episode eight starts out. I guess everybody just comes back from Vegas. told, ⁓ told me that, he frames it so I can be wrong. ⁓ That, and haven't talked for a week or so. so, you know, she's trying to get some space from him. Yes. ⁓ And she's talking her mom on the phone and Dakota's supposed to be coming over. Sylvia: Yeah, I know. I love it. It's part of the show now. Michelle Harris: And she tells her mom about the Sunday center confessional that Macy told her about. Dakota in and like as she's her mother about this ⁓ and. then she just tells him and he loses it. He's like, you know, I thought we were over this, this and that, we talked about this, I told you I've been with. you know, in Taylor's defense, like they did talk about that, but now she has new evidence ⁓ you know, that maybe something more was happening. But then he blames it on Macy, and Macy made it up. And Then he calls Macy and wants to meet up with Macy. So he gets in Macy's car, wherever they are, they meet up, they go to get soda. Don't know ⁓ Swig has those great flavors yet or not. ⁓ my God. But we're still going to keep pushing them. We'll tag them in. The conversation would be better if they could have alcohol, to be honest. Yeah, for sure. So. They talk, Dakota blames everything on Macy. It's her fault. He has blame somebody, he blames Macy, which is really It's all on him. So that happens, whatever. there's really, I think, kind of two other things that happened in the episode. It was Macy's launch party for ⁓ Baby Mama. Everybody was unsure whether Whitney would show up or not. Right. Sounded like a great party. You were telling me all about the charcuterie, the balloons. was a tattoo artist there. Pretty cool. And then as countdown's happening for the launch of the website, was it Jesse that had the idea to unfollow Whitney? Somebody had the idea. Demi. OK, of course it was Demi. ⁓ Had the to unfollow Whitney. when the countdown hit one and if Whitney didn't come through the door. So they all unfollow Whitney. Whitney's already unfollowed them. now ⁓ unfollowed by them. And that leads into Michaela's birthday party at the roller rink. You were super excited about the roller rink. ⁓ want go to a ⁓ roller Whitney shows up to that. Yes. How? We don't know. We no one knows maybe the guys maybe was invited by ⁓ talk, which is apparently a thing now ⁓ ⁓ So she comes she talks to Michaela she tells Michaela she got her gift Michaela's just not even doesn't even care Says she stepped on it later or whatever by accident Whitney and talks to Macy and is like, I'm sorry. I guess there was an interview like she was trying to talk to her, text her, tell her she was sorry. But it's like, it's really shitty. She wasn't there for her at all. Like she could have just sent a text before the launch party. Like that's her, like that's huge. Like just send a text. But you know, that was really shitty. there was one other thing I guess was Taylor has the baby. Finally. Finally. We couldn't end season one without having this baby already. My God. We made it there. We made it there. Is there anything like super important I miss? I'm trying to give a quick recap so we can get to the full recap of season one. Yeah. Yeah, that was all the besides Jen leaving to go to New York. So that was the only thing. So she did go to the launch party, didn't go to Michaela's birthday party. The flu. The flu. The girls think that Zach's controlling her. Zach is controlling her. Cuts to them in New York because Zach got into medical school and, you know, she's sitting there in her big fluffy black hat and just doesn't look happy. Zach's happy. well, as long as she's not happy, Zach is happy. That's how it goes. So yeah. OK. Yeah. And then Macy called Jenna. And that was like the very. Oh, that was like that was the end. That was like, holy shit, we're going to drop this bomb. Sylvia: in Michelle Harris: And then you and I don't even get to talk about it this week. I got to wait till next week. But we're happy to have Sylvia here. So we'll talk about that later, I guess. The suspense is going to kill me. Yeah. I wanted, Sylvia, I wanted to talk to you. we're really excited to just like go through season one. I kind of thought we could walk through. each of the individual girls and kind of like their story arcs of the season, because I did like watching it. Season one was spanned through what I interpreted as probably close to a year and a half of filming, because the first episode was 11 months and then the second one was 11 months later. And then Taylor was five months pregnant. So that's another four months. So it's probably like a year and a half of like these girls lives. So a lot of these drama. Sylvia: Yeah. Michelle Harris: storylines and arcs had probably a lot of different connecting things in between that maybe as a viewer, people don't understand or know. And so my first question is, are you on TikTok and were you following this story from the beginning? Or do you like from like Instagram or other things like, did you like know more about like each of the individual like relationships? Sylvia: So. knew nothing going into watching the show. Like absolutely nothing. So I had like heard about the swinging scandal a little bit. I am I read it or like I love being on Reddit. So mostly just I'm a lurker. Yeah. So I did see some stuff on Reddit. did see I did know about Whitney's video like that like the RSV video. So like ⁓ Michelle Harris: ⁓ wow. Okay. Okay. Okay. ⁓ okay. Okay. Okay. I'm sure there's a lot of juicy info there. Oh, yeah. Even even our friend knew about that. Who's not even remotely knows anything about that was related to lives of more and more lives. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, that's that's I apparently that blew up and a lot of people know about I did. knew about it. I knew about it. I didn't even know it Whitney. I didn't see it on Instagram or anything. So, yeah, people are making like the the the mimics of making fun of it. Yeah. All right. like dead on the bed and it's like, and it's like so like people were like. Sylvia: Yeah. Yeah. I knew about it. Yeah. you Michelle Harris: Like copying it, so, yeah. Sylvia: Oh, so bad. Oh, yeah. I hate it. ugh. can't watch it from secondhand embarrassment. It makes me uncomfortable. But yeah, let's, let's, but yeah, I knew nothing, so let's go through it. I'm excited. And it a while ago that I watched this. Like, I watched it when it first came out, so. Michelle Harris: ⁓ my god. Yeah, it's bad. It's bad. OK, OK, so you you started when it first like aired. OK, I wasn't sure if it was like season two or three. And then like you came and you like went back and like got caught up on it. OK, so you were like from the beginning, season one started. You started watching it and started getting to know all the girls. And so the first girl that I want to dive into is is Michaela. So she starts off very quiet on this show and Sylvia: Yeah. Michelle Harris: Then as the story or as the episodes go on, you kind of see Michaela's personality come out a little bit more. ⁓ me, she comes off as not giving a fuck. I did. So I did go down a Reddit rabbit hole today about Michaela because I was like confused about her relationship with a little bit, because at the beginning they seemed very, very close. It was a kind of her. ⁓ Macy Whitney. And then as the season went on, especially during Macy's birthday weekend, you kind of saw Michaela like off in her own corner. Not that she was getting involved in the drama, but like she was by herself. And then by the end, she was like, fuck Whitney. Like she was like, I don't give a fuck about this girl. I'm like, how did we get from point A to point B? Because it just seemed jarring with no context through the season. So what's your take on that and like how they ended up that situation or ⁓ opinion about Makayla in general? Do you have the same thoughts that I Sylvia: So Michaela, I feel like she has even come out and said that like a lot of stuff that was filmed about her wasn't used, like especially about her eczema and everything. I think that's what it is, is eczema. ⁓ Yeah, she's a sick girl. Yes. she does get more of an edit in the later seasons. So she's not... Michelle Harris: OK, ⁓ she's the sick girl. She's the sick girl. ⁓ Sorry. Yeah. Okay. Sylvia: my personal favorite. Like I feel like she can be very childish and I don't, which I don't blame her for because she started having children at 16 and I feel like that's very hard to like mature past when you start having children without the proper like therapy, let's say. Michelle Harris: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah, yeah. Did we did she have children at 16? I knew they got married when he was like 20 or 21 and she was 60. They started having children at that They weren't married yet. She got pregnant. ⁓ my goodness. Wow. OK. And it has he apparently she did lie about her age to him. OK. Sylvia: She got pregnant. That's why they got married. Yeah. First. Michelle Harris: But then but then like you find out the age and then you decide to marry her. And it's like, how much of the church? Right. And get her pregnant. Like, yeah. So. Sylvia: Get her pregnant. Michelle Harris: part of the Reddit that I read because recently, very recently, like this past week, like it came out that they're kind of separated and she's been staying in Airbnbs. Let's not spoil season two and three and four for me. This isn't even in a season right now. There's no season that covers this. Sylvia: It isn't, it's in season four. Yeah. Yeah. Michelle Harris: Oh, is in season four? Oh, goodness. We still have two seasons to do before we get to four. Oh, sorry. And now I know that Michaela and her husband are separated. in the interview, she's coming out and blaming her chronic illness for it instead of this. So I think the conversation is, it because of... her relationship with her husband, they do have an issue or is it she says that her house has mold. So she's been getting airbnbs and her her children fully understand that it's for her health. Oh, but she might be getting away from her husband. Who knows if my house had mold and I got sick, he's not going to stay here. Yeah. Leave me behind. Leave me behind. I get sick and die. So like I saw. I don't know. I don't know what Sylvia. Sylvia: Yeah. And leave the children behind. Did she leave the children? Did she leave the children behind too? Michelle Harris: Yeah. Oh, I you said she took the children. No. Oh, OK. That's yeah. I don't think the house has mold. She just needs to get away. She said, oh, the children understand that mommy needs needs space because of her sickness. And I've been getting Airbnb's because mold is completely fine for children. Right. So I've heard like fine for any. It's good for it's good for the children. anyway, anyway, an hour. Sylvia: That's weird. Yeah, for those young, young lungs. Well, so there's more stuff also that you guys are going to learn in later seasons about Michaela. Like she has a history of like pretty terrible trauma. ⁓ So like, and I feel like she's never had therapy for that or like been able to work through that because she started having children and she started, you know, raising little lives. Yeah. And she never had a chance to process a lot of that. Michelle Harris: Yeah. Okay. Yeah, that's a very young age. One person. Yeah. Wow. One person on Reddit did comment and this is what I was going to bring up. The one person on Reddit did comment that, guess, throughout season one, she actually was going to therapy and trying to get help. And the that she started getting more distant from Whitney was because Whitney wasn't supporting her and was excluding her from like TikToks. and filming and other things. So she didn't feel supported in that way, which ⁓ think would have made for a better drum. Like, I know it's her life, but if she's sharing that in an interview, why didn't we see that part of it to understand? Because as a viewer, I'm totally confused as to why this girl is so hateful From what I saw, I'm like, she didn't do that much, you know? Sylvia: Well, I also think like, so to answer your original question of why I think that Michaela didn't like Whitney by the end of the season, I feel like it was like a very slow progression of like not liking the way she was treating other people. And then also, like you said, not being supported, like, yeah, you didn't see Whitney do anything bad to Michaela, but you also didn't see Whitney reaching out to Michaela, talking to Michaela, being there for Michaela. And she does have this terrible. Michelle Harris: Yeah. Right, Yeah. Sylvia: eczema and like problem and trauma and therapy going on like and Whitney's like ⁓ I'm sorry it's just too much for me to handle right now and Michaela's like you're supposed to be my best friend. Michelle Harris: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Right, right. mean, Whitley slowly did become like just not a great person. Like you see more and more as it goes on, like you were saying. Yeah. For sure. Sylvia: Yeah. Yeah, and if we're gonna, can we jump into this already? Are we allowed to jump into the Whitney thing? Okay, so I feel like there were a couple things throughout the whole season that like sometimes you pointed them out and other times like, I feel like we missed them. So like even episode one, you had pointed out in like, I think after episode three or four, you're like, you didn't like that Whitney made fun of a lot of people behind their backs. Like she kinda just like, so it was even happening in episode one. Michelle Harris: Go for it, go for it. Yeah. Yes. Yes. Sylvia: like when her, Michaela and Taylor go to meet up and Whitney is making fun of Taylor's boob job. And then when they ask Taylor how she's doing and she's like, great, I'm so excited about my new boob job. And they both, Michaela and Whitney look at each other and like give each other the look where it's like they were clearly talking about it and then they don't even tell Taylor and they move on, which is total mean girl energy. Michelle Harris: Yeah. You're right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, you're right. You are right. I did miss that. And I kind of I kind of at that point chalked it up to like if Taylor didn't care enough to care about their feelings about the swinging standel, which kind of childish. I was like, you know what? Maybe they're letting off steam because ⁓ Taylor's their lives so much, ⁓ which the right way to approach it. But I was kind of trying to give her grace in a moment where like Sylvia: Yeah. Totally. Michelle Harris: She was going through a lot and then Taylor's like, I don't give a fuck what my actions did to you. So like I was like, yeah, that's not that's not the right way to handle it. I'm like, is she the villain in this? Right. Like I was like, is she this bad of a villain? Sylvia: Yeah. say like she's a villain, just like personally don't care for her and her actions. So a couple other points about her in that same vein. With the swinging scandal, also another thing is that there were a bunch of other women who are a part Mom Talk before the swinging scandal, which is who the swinging scandal was actually about. like all those women left. Michelle Harris: Hmm. Okay. Sylvia: mom talk when that happened. So I don't think Whitney was even a part of that original group. So like, I don't think when Taylor came out about it, I don't think it was like... Michelle Harris: Okay. Sylvia: thought to be about Whitney. Michelle Harris: about Whitney, because Miranda comes in next season and she was a part of Sylvia: Miranda, and there was another girl. Michelle Harris: OK, and she was sorry. Who the hell's Miranda? Miranda's this girl. She's in the newer seasons. And I saw a video and it was like, explain Secret Lives of Mormon Wives in 40 seconds. It was all the girls and like 40 seconds. And like so the girls are trying to like like highlight and like one of the girls started with like so Miranda started filming Tiktok with Taylor and I'm like, who the fuck is Miranda? Yeah, OK. so they started it. Sylvia: I think. ⁓ They started it. And it was Miranda's husband that Taylor cheated with. Michelle Harris: No. Sylvia: They were best friends, like talked on the phone every day for two hours, best friends. And they were the ones who started like the swinging and stuff. Michelle Harris: ⁓ wow. drama is really about to pick up. Sylvia: And so Miranda is like, they were absolutely best friends and Miranda and her husband were on the rocks. And I think Miranda's husband and Taylor slept together and then everything blew up. Michelle Harris: my gosh. Okay. Okay. So we got all. Yeah. Okay. So we're missing content. ⁓ little bit. Just a bit. Sylvia: Yeah. So like, like it, the reason and the other and the other thing is like Taylor came out with the live because it was already coming out. Like her Taylor's ex-husband, I think is the one who started leaking it and started being like Taylor's trash. She cheated on me. I'm pretty sure. Michelle Harris: I'm pretty sure. Nice. Okay. ⁓ Sylvia: And so she was like, hold on, let me set the record straight. Like we both invited this into our marriage. Like we both, everybody. So like, I'm not saying I agree with what Taylor did, but like I understand being probably a social media star. Yeah. I would want to come out and set the record straight myself. So I don't know if I do it in that way, but. Michelle Harris: Right. Everybody was doing it. All the Mormon wives, all the everybody. Okay. You're getting trash talked and yeah. Yeah, for sure, for sure. Yeah, that was very, very public when I feel like. Sylvia: Yeah, and then also the other really weird thing that Whitney did in episode one, when she went to that salt cave, okay, she was not paying attention to her children. She was like letting them play with the, like all the controls on the wall and Layla was clearly uncomfortable. She's like. Michelle Harris: Weird. I said that, it was weird. Yeah. Sylvia: like giving Whitney eyes and all Whitney could, Whitney couldn't stop talking shit about Taylor long enough to recognize what her children were doing. They were like throwing sand around the room. And I was like, girl, like, okay, come on. Michelle Harris: You No, I It's funny I remember that because you had told me that was supposed to be like a playdate. And then Leila didn't even bring her kids. date slash like hang like. mean, it's like we want you two to get together so you two can talk. She had the kids that day, so she couldn't and couldn't get away from Leila's kids at all. So I her ex husband's like, no, no, no. I don't want my kids in this shit. Yeah. I ain't signing this release. Yeah. There's a couple of girls like we don't. is fair. I mean, we don't see Demi kids. We don't see Leila's kids. We don't see Jesse's kids, at least in the first season. Sylvia: Yeah. Won't let them on the show, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Taylor's Kids. You don't see Taylor's Kids. Michelle Harris: Taylor's kids, we saw them once when she went over her mom's house. That was it. Demi's divorced. Demi's divorced. kids with her ex-husband or with her previous, or with her current husband? No, with her ex-husband. Okay. And then she just recently got pregnant or had a kid with her current husband. But I can see if you're divorced and your ex-husband isn't part of the show. Sylvia: ⁓ okay. Michelle Harris: Like they're not going to sign a release to have your kids in there. No. In this bullshit. Yeah. Sure. Yeah. And keep the kids out of it anyway. If I grew up and I was like, my God, I was on this show like with all these crazy ⁓ We really see like Jen's kids, Whitney's kids. I'm trying think. ⁓ I don't think. Sylvia: Yeah, I think that's fair. I think that's fair. Yeah. Michelle Harris: Michaela's kids. And those are the only three couples that we consistently see their kids. And they're the only three that I believe haven't been divorced. Right. OK. So they're the only three like original marriages and everyone else is like either divorce or on their second marriage. Yeah. OK. So but yeah. And you brought up something where you said like it's not that I thought Whitney was the villain. I just don't like her personality. That's how I. Sylvia: Yeah. And I don't like the way she behaves. Like, yeah. Michelle Harris: behaves. That is exactly how I feel about Demi though. Sylvia: I don't, yeah, I don't like Debbie either. ⁓ Michelle Harris: That is my exact feeling. I don't like her delivery of things. I don't like the way that she talks to the girl. She might have good intentions. I don't like her I'm better than thou attitude sometimes where like, you know, people are being excluded while I'm going to throw a party and include everyone. And I'm going to make a speech before my party, which is weird. I've never shown up at house party and had to like listen to someone's speech. So Sylvia: Yeah. Michelle Harris: personally, probably I did like her through the first two, maybe three episodes. then after that, it kind of just dropped off for me. Like she funny one liners. Yeah, she did. But Demi's the one that was like. Sylvia: Yeah. Michelle Harris: If Whitney doesn't show up, like she's a bitch and then Whitney shows up and she's like, why did this bitch show up? Yeah. And it's like, I feel like she just wants drama either way, whether she shows up, whether Whitney shows up or doesn't show up. Demi's digging in to get some drama going to start some shit. Yeah. And I was like, wow, like what is going on? So I think part of that is because I read that she actually had to petition to be on the show. Sylvia: Yeah. Yeah. Michelle Harris: So Hulu actually said no to her. to Demi? To Demi. Oh, wow. Whitney told Hulu that Demi needs to be on the show. So Whitney is the one that brought Demi onto the show. So I think she thought she had to make a splash. So wherever she saw that there could be a potential for drama, she dug in. but Whitney got you on the show and you're trying to dig into her. Because all the other girls were. Oh, OK. All right. Sylvia: Hmm. Hmm. ⁓ Probably. But also, also are we forgetting about how Whitney used the swinging scandal as an excuse to escape to Hawaii and acted like, and I feel like that's kind of mean to like blame your friend for you leaving the country. Like, why don't you just sit like, and not say anything and not like, you don't have to tell everyone what's going on in your life. You can just say like, there's stuff going on in my, in my business. So it doesn't have to deal with you. Michelle Harris: right and that's yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Sylvia: But no, she totally used it as an excuse to leave and she never apologized for that. Even when Taylor said outright, it hurt when you did that. Whitney could have said, Whitney could have been like, I'm sorry. I understand I didn't handle it right. But you know, I was going through a lot. That's a totally reasonable thing to say. Yeah. Michelle Harris: Yeah. Right. That's like episode one, right? Like that's episode one. Her husband was on Tinder. Episode two, she comes out with the she. But like that's why she left and she blamed it on the swinging scandal, the live. OK. Sylvia: Yeah. Yeah, and like as if Taylor's not getting enough heat already and then like, wow, you ran our friend out the continental US. ⁓ Michelle Harris: Yeah. Yeah. I think without the context of like Whitney not being involved in that original group. Again, like at the beginning, I was like, well, Taylor's not going to apologize for making that video. And she was already going through this with her husband. Like that was my thought process. Like she's already going through a hard time with her husband. Then she's getting messages and DMS about being a swinger. So like too would want to be like, get me the fuck away from this place. ⁓ So it's fair. Yeah, it's fair with the context of like of like of really not being a part of that original group. And they all left. Sylvia: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No, that's totally fair. That's fair. Michelle Harris: when that scandal happened, that changes it where like I thought she was in the middle of it. I thought it was like, my God, like I wasn't involved. I'm also trying to deal with people telling me that my husband's cheating on me and sending me screenshots of his Tinder. ⁓ I'd be like, yeah, this, this got too much for me. Like I'm piecing out. ⁓ then when I came back to confront Taylor, be like, why did you make that video? And she's like, well, I'm not going to apologize. And I'd be like, then I'm not apologizing for leaving. Like, ⁓ so like that's of like as a viewer, like that's where I went. ⁓ Sylvia: You Yeah, no that's fair. Michelle Harris: I was like, know, tip for tat. Like it's kind of petty, like, was like, it's, reality TV. Yeah. Sylvia: I mean, I think they were all making TikToks together, but like my understanding is that Taylor was mainly with Miranda and with other girls. And then like, obviously there's like a bigger group of Mormon TikTokers. You know what I mean? And so like probably everyone who didn't know what was going on was like coming for anyone who was a Mormon TikToker and being like, are you a swinger? Are you a swinger? Are you a swinger? Michelle Harris: with other girls, yeah. Thank I'm ready. It's crazy because I didn't realize like how many influencers are out of Utah or, or in general, how many entertainers come out of Utah because the entire dancing with the stars cast comes from Utah, like pretty much like all of them. Yeah. A lot of them are ex LDS. They all trained in Utah. They all know each other from Utah. And so, learning that and then, and then it was a secret lives and Mormon wives. Like I'm like, okay, obviously. Sylvia: Yeah. Really? Wow. Michelle Harris: And then you realize all these different influencers and even a podcast I listen to. which is a true crime podcast there out of Utah. Oh, they are. There's so many entertainers in the Utah space. I'm like, is this the next Atlanta where we're filming now? Like, this the new like, is this the new hub of stars? Like, I'm not sure. Like, it's kind of crazy. And they don't drink. Well, most of them don't drink. Some of them drink, but. Sylvia: I know. Yeah. Which is like so crazy that all this drama happens and they're not even drinking. Like, not even alcohol. That's wild. That's wild. Imagine if there was alcohol. They would be throwing glasses. True, true. Yeah. Michelle Harris: It's not even alcohol involved. Yeah. Well, there is some. There is some. drinks a lot in season one. Yeah. And I feel like she adds to. So this is this is a good segue. She serves the pot, especially when she's drinking. Yeah. Yes. Thank you. ⁓ Sylvia: She stirs the pot. She stirs the pot. And then she walks away and she's like, why is there drama? Michelle Harris: She and season one, her and Demi are like, like thick as thieves, right? And they, they are potsters. They, and they're the two drinkers of the group too. And so kind of throughout the whole season was a little bit subdued until it became like Whitney's out of this group. And then I feel like Jessie really picked up her amp of like. Sylvia: Yeah. Mm-hmm. Michelle Harris: Whitney is out like like I'm carrying the sword and it kind of came off strong to me. And then we hit the Chippendales and they go to Chippendales. Sylvia: Yeah. Oi. Oi! Michelle Harris: And she's getting so pissed that everyone's like everyone's husband's mad at her. Like no one's enjoying themselves. I'm like, you knew exactly what was about to happen. You said that they're going to be upset. You knew that they're going to be upset. And yet you're upset that everyone's upset. just didn't understand that thought ⁓ there of like, I'm going to. It gets worse. No, ⁓ Sylvia: Yeah. ⁓ No, she, and it gets worse. It gets worse. Yeah. Yeah. Like she just loves to stir the pot and be like, and then be like, why is everyone freaking out? And you're just like, it's, very frustrating. She acts like a child as well. And you also, before you watch, I think it's season three, you have to watch an episode of Vanderpump Villa, just so you guys know. Michelle Harris: Hahaha Yeah. Laughter Yeah. OK, OK, I did hear about this, so we'll have to answer this connection here. We'll have to answer. Yeah, The husbands go to Vanderpump Villa. The girls, the wives, the wives go to Vanderpump Villa. OK. And it's this whole it leads into like other drama into season three. And well, I mean, we have 10, 10 episodes of two to get through with with a with the reunion. Sylvia: Yeah. Yeah. Wives, the wives too, yeah. Yeah. I want you guys to do a whole podcast on the Vanderpump Villa and give your opinions. Michelle Harris: On Vanderpump. OK. OK. All right. No, we will. We will. No, that's a good that's a good that's a good feedback. But now our hope is like when we get through season four, as we're like nearing the end of that, like to pick up something that's current. So so it's a little more relevant to people. I think this has been good because a lot of. Sylvia: Yeah. Michelle Harris: people that we know, like your sister, rewatching and then listening to the podcast. You've seen all them. So like when you listen, like it's relevant to you, you understand. So it's cool. Like, yeah, yeah, absolutely. It's Sylvia: Yeah, yeah, it's like I'm rewatching it in my head. Michelle Harris: And I'm just here, like, I don't watch this shit. I'm just hanging out, reacting, drinking some Guinness. So I'm with St. Patrick's Bay. Sylvia: Wait! I feel like you have to show him pictures and have him guess who it is. Michelle Harris: He's seen some of the girls like, yeah, so were going to do that. But then I'm like, need to start posting on social media because he's like, haven't posted. I'm like, then you're going to like, no. And he's like, whatever. Yeah. We had an idea early on where I was going to get through like a whole season and then she was going to literally show each girl and I was going to pick like, that's that's Whitney. That's Taylor. And then. Sylvia: Okay, okay. Hahaha Yeah. Yeah. Michelle Harris: She's been posting on Instagram and I've been, you know, resharing and all that. So like I have seen some of them. You know, I don't know all of them. I definitely know Whitney. I could pick her out of line up and Jen feel like, you know, those maybe Taylor and Taylor, Whitney and Jen and Taylor. I feel like I think the first thing you posted was all the girls and like Taylor's belly was sticking out. So I'm like, that's definitely Taylor. She's pregnant. So like, yeah. So like, I think, I mean, it was a good idea at the time, but Sylvia: Yeah. Yeah. Michelle Harris: We can still do a lot of things. think what we need to do, though, what my suggestion was put all the girls and then all the husbands. Oh, I got a match. Oh, OK. With who? I haven't seen any husbands. He hasn't seen any husband. It would be cool to match. Yeah. I have like a picture of Dakota in my mind and he is like such a piece of shit. Like I could probably pick him out of a Which brings brings us into Taylor. Sylvia: Ooh, fun. Yeah. White trash. Demi would say. Michelle Harris: that brings us into Taylor, right? So white trash Taylor, ⁓ to Demi, the that she does is trashy. So ⁓ we Taylor. First episode, she gets arrested, right? So like she just seems like a hot mess express. She was drinking at the time. The second time we see her, she's pregnant. So she's not drinking the rest of the season. My question is, does she go back to that and does she get crazier or does she go back to drinking? No. Okay. So she, she calms down. She comes, she's learned her lesson. Sylvia: ⁓ I don't remember seeing her drink after this, but I could be wrong. Like, you know, I could have missed it. But I do feel like she really does lean into therapy ⁓ feel like she does. ⁓ don't know. I feel like I can see it throughout the season, ⁓ becoming more like understanding and like willing to admit when she's wrong and like apologize. Michelle Harris: Okay. Okay. That's good. Okay. Yeah. Sylvia: I feel like she continues that. I really love Taylor. I feel like she's a really honest, I actually think she's just honest in herself in every way. Michelle Harris: Good. Well, that's good. Yeah. And I do I do get that vibe, especially when she at Macy's birthday weekend. She like wanted to talk to Whitney, pulled her aside during that conversation was like really understanding of I hurt you. I want to move on. And so I did like in that. And then when Whitney was upset after to me came up and ruined everything. Yeah, well, the girls were all listening down below because it was like, oh, Taylor's being too nice. I got to go ruin it. Yeah, I to step on this shit. Sylvia: Yeah, she tried. ⁓ Yeah. Yeah. Okay, but to be fair, like Whitney was still not taking any accountability for how she hurt Taylor during that conversation. So I think that's why they went up there, but I don't think they should have. It's not their business. Yeah. She was not good. Michelle Harris: I do. I do. OK, yes, I do agree with that. But only only Demi went up there and she didn't add any like when the first thing out of Demi's mouth was like, well, I did. Like I did, like it wasn't defending Taylor. It was defending herself and Whitney's comments. So like that's where I like was like, I kind of that weekend. That's when I think it changed for me for to me that weekend for Taylor though. I was like, good for you girl. Like, and I could see it. I could see her side. could see it Whitney not like, and she was like, well, I don't care. And I'm like, that is kind of shitty, but you're an adult. If you don't want to be friends with someone you can't force. Sylvia: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But you should say something. like, you, if, cause I feel like that's rude to be like, if you do have some sort of relationship and then all of a sudden you stop talking, like ghosting is not, I don't think ghosting is the appropriate way. Michelle Harris: Yeah. But do you not? But do not think her having that brunch with Michaela and then asking for clarity on the video and not getting that from Taylor. And then when she invited Taylor over and she was admitting to the girls about Connor cheating and then Taylor turned it right on herself. Like weren't those two like kind of like outreaches of like trying to be a friend, like trying to have a friendship. Like if I got all my girlfriends together and obviously it's edited for reality TV, but if I got all my girlfriends together and be like, Hey, I'm going through this really hard time in my life. And someone goes like, yeah. and I also am going through it. I'd be like, well, that's kind of like, that's a little shitty to like, that hadn't transitioned. Sylvia: Yeah, no, absolutely. Which is also why Taylor did apologize for that during the trip. Michelle Harris: And yeah, but yeah, so like that point in the season for me, for Whitney, was like. she did invite Taylor over for that conversation. She did invite Taylor to brunch to get clarity. Like she did do those things that we saw on camera. Obviously there's things that happen off camera, but to me, like those two things were her trying to like see who her friends were and to her, Taylor wasn't her friend. And so with that conversation, it's like, I didn't think we were friends. Sylvia: Yeah, that's fair. Totally. Michelle Harris: And so at that point, I still kind of gave Whitney a little bit of grace. Like I was like, you know. Sylvia: Yeah. Well, but to be fair, the information that Taylor shares is quite traumatic. going through a miscarriage. ⁓ but what I want to say, absolutely, but what I'm saying also is Taylor also, like, I think that Taylor is also reaching out and being like, I need my friends because I'm going through a miscarriage. Michelle Harris: No, no, I'm not dismissing, I'm not dismissing the traumaticness of it. I'm dismissing the delivery of it. Sylvia: So like in that moment, yes, her delivery is not right, but she is still trying to ask for her girlfriend's help. And so like in that moment, yes, Whitney, she didn't do right by Whitney, but I also think that she's, that's still a friend talking. Like your enemy is not telling you that they're having a miscarriage. Do know what I mean? So like she's still kind of burying her soul in that moment. Michelle Harris: Right, right. Yeah. Right. ⁓ definitely. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And that's. Yeah, and that is a traumatic experience. But like you said, like the reality TV aspect of it, like she may not have said it at that point. Yeah. Like you got the views, you got the drama, you got it. They added it right in. I'm having this problem. ⁓ but I'm having this problem. Like, you know, it ⁓ wasn't it wasn't Taylor being like me, me, me. Sylvia: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, for sure. Yeah. Michelle Harris: It probably happened later where she said that ⁓ edited it. It may or may not have been, but I mean, I don't watch reality TV. Yeah. ⁓ I it's all fucking scripted. So ⁓ in mind, like ⁓ it ⁓ wasn't bad as it seemed like. ⁓ I But that's just that's my take. But yeah, I mean, it's too it's definitely too. Sylvia: And maybe it wasn't. Like maybe it was really that bad. Yeah. Yeah. Michelle Harris: issues that people need to work through and people need friends for. But it seemed just mashed together. I think in the days of like, I think about when I was in high school, like Laguna Beach what was the spinoff for that? The Hills. ⁓ when you think about Laguna Beach and the Hills, that was scripted reality TV ⁓ there's like that was that was we're going to you. Sylvia: Yes! The hills. Michelle Harris: You, Lauren, are gonna meet up with you, what's Stephen, and you guys, yeah, Stephen's a good one. You, Lauren, are gonna meet up, you, Stephen, you guys have to have a conversation about this. script to script, but like, if you don't say this, then we're not done filming. And it would be like, almost like they have to keep going, and I've seen that. I think ⁓ ⁓ world ⁓ ⁓ media. Sylvia: Steven. Yeah. Michelle Harris: and them having a TikTok presence. It's less scripted and more Whitney show up, show up at Michaela's birthday. Like a producer called her and said, we need you to show up this roller rink and just walk in. And then like they let it all happen because the drama is already happening. Like they're already, this is their real life and they do not like one another, but they're forced through a contract to show up somewhere and just let the cameras fly. And I feel like that's like, that's where it's like, was this these four girls forced to be in this room together? Or was this like, Hey, we're already doing this. Sylvia: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Michelle Harris: cameras come join us, I think it's probably the first. Where it's like the end of season one where Jesse and Demi are getting sodas and then they're going to talk about Jen leaving Mom Talk. That's like we need to get you two girls together so you can tell the cameras that Jen's leaving Mom Talk. Right. Right. And so like that's kind of like the scriptedness of this. So sometimes I take everything I see with a grain of salt, which is kind of a good segue into Jen, because whole arc this season is very dull until the very end with her husband. Sylvia: Yeah. Wait, can I say one last thing? Okay. My other question that I want to pose to you too is, so Whitney comes out and she says, yeah, my husband was on Tinder. He was sending pics. They ask, they ask a couple of questions, follow, couple of follow up questions. Like, are you sure that he didn't meet up with anybody? How do you know? Yada yada. And then they're like, you know, we're all there for you. They all say that, right? And then Taylor goes, well, I also have something to share. Michelle Harris: Yes, yeah. Sylvia: So my question is, what else were they really supposed to say about that situation to Whitney? Like, they really shouldn't press harder because she's like, I don't really have proof that he didn't meet up with anybody. And they're like, they're kind of like, well, okay. Like, they're trying to be there for her in that moment and not like attack her and be like, well, are you sure? Like, how do you really know? And like, what else are they really supposed to ask her in that moment about the situation? Michelle Harris: Yeah. Yeah, right. Unless, unless they knew something, but yeah. Yeah. So. Yeah, yeah. From what I remember, this is how I remember it was. And maybe this maybe this goes back to how it was edited. Whitney was like mid crying. when Taylor said, I think this is probably an edit, but many Whitney was like when Taylor was like, I have something to share to you. Like she was like dabbing her eyes. And so like, I think that's what triggered me. I'm like, this isn't the right time for you to like step in. So if that were the case, I'd be like, no, like you need to be like, what do you need from us? like what support you're looking for, like, do you want to like have more girls days or do you want to like, what do you what do you need for this to be like better if she was still mid cry if they had resolved the conversation and things were dying down and they're sitting in front of cameras with like dead air and then so like Taylor was like, fuck it, I'll just say it, which is probably what happened. Then, yeah, like I would be like, OK, like that it and she's reaching out to friends like so. Sylvia: But also, this happened to Whitney two months ago. This didn't just happen to Whitney. She's known about this for two months. That's her own fault. Michelle Harris: Right, but she had never told any- Hahaha! I mean, you're just a Whitney hater, so. Sylvia: she could have, she could have reached- I know, I am, but it's like, yeah, I am, I'm not gonna lie. I, like- Michelle Harris: No, I just I think I think if I have I have. I know she does. I 1000 % agree with that, and especially towards the end, gets worse and worse and worse. Her conversation with Macy pissed me the f off at the roller rink. Sylvia: I don't think she takes accountability at all throughout this whole season for anything. Right? Right? So ridiculous. Michelle Harris: When Macy says this is selfish and Whitney says why, think I shut down. like, ⁓ can't, there's no defending anymore. There's no conversation. Like that response in of itself is selfish. Yeah. Send her a text. Call her. Yeah. Send something. Before the launch party. Sylvia: Yeah. Anything. Michelle Harris: Listen, I've been anything I've been. I have been busy in my life and I have not been able to reach out to friends as much as I have wanted to. Right. But if someone invited me that I was that close with that I saw on a regular basis or talk to on regular basis, a text message is a minimum. Yeah, that's all it takes. So, yeah, no, I completely agree that. OK. Sylvia: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah, sorry, we can go back to the gen now. I'm sorry, I keep hating on Whitney. Michelle Harris: No, no, not. This is what we want to talk there because like through the season, like in some of the stuff that you don't see that you're providing context to, it's like. You don't see that. it's like, if this is the villain, quote unquote, villain, like this is the lamest villain that's ever hit reality TV. And I really, really think it should be Demi instead, because the way she delivers shit and the things that she says, I'm like, it's so unnecessary sometimes that I'm like, let's why are we doing this? I mean, it was up until the last. It was up until the last episode, like you were you had with these back. Sylvia: Don't worry, you will be vindicated. Michelle Harris: It was up until I didn't have I was like, I could see both sides. Yeah, it was like it was the maybe through like four or five episodes. You were like, I got her back and then it started changing. And then, yeah, and you were like, yeah. And so part of it was because on Dancing with the Stars. her and her partner, Mark Ballas, came out and people were so hateful towards them that they decided to rig the system and they were like, we're going to vote Whitney off Dancing with the Stars. Mark was like, well, that's not really how this works. Well, when you figure out that you can vote for everyone else besides Whitney 10 times, you can vote someone off Dancing with the Stars. And so Mark was like, because they're like, he's like, you can only vote for your favorites. And then they're like, well, we're going to vote for everyone but Whitney. So you had all these people online, like giving her hate and giving her all this shit. Yeah. And she was like, she was like legitimately good. And I enjoyed watching her. She was great. And so I enjoyed watching her. So I saw this girl get defeated week after week after week. And then to watch it and be like, this is the villain that you guys were that mad about to be like, to to to put all of your energy to vote for literally Andy. Sylvia: That's terrible. Yeah, I saw her. She was great. Michelle Harris: instead of Whitney, like, you know, like, or just like leave Andy off of it. Like, you know, like, so people were so angry at her that I was like, I have to watch this. She was good. She was great. I just know she's on Broadway. I just want to say I voted every week for Danielle. Yes, Danielle official. I did not watch a single episode, but I was told by Michelle. Sylvia: Yeah. That's stupid. Yeah, she was on Broadway. Yeah. Hahaha! Michelle Harris: that I had to text Danielle to 311468 or whatever the hell the number was. did. 10 times. I did. 10 times. Most times I voted 11 because I didn't count. And then it was like, you voted too many times. I was like, all right. Sylvia: That's so funny. Michelle Harris: I voted by 11 times for Danielle. I did. I did. I made him vote. You were down in Virginia a lot. I'd be like, you better vote. You better got to vote for Danielle. And I'm like, all right. All right. I'm voting. And then we voted Dylan after, but I have to steal his phone to do that. Yeah, I don't know. But anyway. Anyway, I wasn't I wasn't voting for Whitney. That's why leading up to the end of this season, I always gave her grease because I was like in the back of my mind, I'm like, is this that bad? Sylvia: Damn, yeah. Haha! Yeah. Michelle Harris: that millions of people teamed up to kick her off the show. I kind of had my own. ⁓ was like, I kind of had my own. I'm like. ⁓ Sylvia: Yeah, I think that's ridiculous. Yeah, you're totally, you're right. No, you're absolutely right. Like I don't at all condone that. I think that's ridiculous. Like I can have my beef with her and sit here and talk to you guys about it. Cause you're my friends. And obviously the podcast is going to hear this. we'll shit, but ⁓ please Whitney, if you hear this, forgive me. just. Michelle Harris: Yeah. The what? The pod. Sylvia: You're not my type of person. That's it. That's just all it is. It's like Taylor's more my type of person, like straightforward type of person. I like that. ⁓ And I, yeah. Michelle Harris: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No, Taylor does seem cool. Some of the stuff I have with Taylor. Yeah. Sylvia: And I think Whitney has good moments. Whitney has good moments. like there are times I absolutely agree with Whitney over anybody else, but it's like, I just overall, it's overall. Yeah. Michelle Harris: Yeah. Yeah. And I do think at the very beginning, Taylor with her mom. I think this is definitely for TV, but she like goes over to her mom's house and like. just missed her period by like one day and she tells her mom she needs to take a pregnancy test. I'm like, girl, just go home and take the pregnancy test and then have the drama ensue after that. But it's like some of the stuff Taylor did at very, very beginning, I'm like, thought was childish and kind of immature ⁓ the season as she grows, I think definitely gets better. So I do see that part that you're talking about ⁓ more now, like as she's like worked through all that. But yeah, at the beginning, I'm like. Sylvia: ⁓ yeah, absolutely childish. Yeah, she's absolutely childish in the beginning. And like, can you blame her? Look at her mother. Michelle Harris: I'm, my god, her mom. Her mom needs her own episode. ⁓ don't know any about this. Sylvia: Her mom is so child, yeah. Wait till you see the way she looks in season two. Wait till you see how she looks. Michelle Harris: Oh, God. Her mother just sticks her nose where it doesn't belong. Don't call. Oh, yeah. Call in Dakota. Call Dakota. Whitney's going. I'm going into labor. Text him. I'm going into labor. Yeah. Taylor's going to labor. Text him that you're going to labor. I'm going to call Whitney for you. I'm going to like just if my mother did that, if my mother did that. Speaking of pregnancy tests. Sylvia: So inappropriate. So inappropriate. Don't call Whitney. Don't call Whitney. ⁓ Inappropriate, yeah. I'd be s- yeah, that's ridiculous. Michelle Harris: Whitney it in the goddamn cake and thinking it's OK. So what the fuck was that? Like, that is disgusting. I know, you know, whole family was like, there's a cake. I can't wait to have a piece. then she's saying you as she's pulling out. And then why is it gross? And it's like you just said. Sylvia: So gross. What a waste of cake. What a waste of cake. That's rude. I'm saying ew, like it was so weird. See again, I just don't like it. She gives me the ick. I have the ick from Whitney. can't stand it. Ew, ew, what is that? Ew. Michelle Harris: How would you think that's, well, it had the cap on it, so. No, it's disgusting. I'm sorry, but when you pee on a stick, it's not just on the stick. There's definitely splatter. There's yeah. Anyway, her sister was disgusting. I want her sister. I want her sister to have her own reality show. I would watch that. Her sister seems cool as fuck, Sylvia: Fuck off, like that's bacteria. It is not sterile. Not according to what, you know, dodgeball says. is not, it is not sterile. She does. Michelle Harris: Yeah. Yeah. Sorry. I had to bring that up because that was like last episode and it was just like, what is this? Another point against it. one thing you guys do have in common is the love for horses. Sylvia: Yeah, that was so weird. See, another point against her. It's just like, it's just all weird. It's weird to me. How does she ride? Michelle Harris: And she almost got she got almost got shit on by a horse in one of the episodes. And Matt thought that I was weird because I was like, hey, why do we have to see that? And he was like, some lady just pulled down and showed her vagina on TV, but you're grossed out by a grossed out by a horse taking a shit. Sylvia: ⁓ yeah, she wants to homestead. Yeah. It was really graphic. mean, like, I see it on regular basis, obviously, but I was like, ⁓ I don't need to see it on TV. Michelle Harris: It was like the whole the whole open. was gross. mean, I grew up. I grew up in Eastern. I mean, have to watch this show like it was like it was like everything was blurred out for Jesse pulling down her pants. And then it was just full on horse. I mean, that's just an animal. Like I grew up in Eastern. There's Amish people, there's horse and buggy. ⁓ horses and she said it was still her ride horses and she said it was graphic. Sylvia: It's just like, you don't need to show that on TV. You know what I mean? Like, it's just not... Michelle Harris: Thank you. Yeah. mean, I didn't, obviously I didn't see it. don't watch the show. I just hear it from Michelle. But yeah, I mean, maybe, maybe you can just show me the I'm going to show the clip. I'm going to show them clip. Sylvia: You should. Will you show Michelle Harris: Copper, holy shit! It's just normal horse stuff. It was like it was like you did it. You saw like on the big TV, on our 70 inch TV, you saw his little butthole come out and then the poop come out of it. I don't know. When they it's like a little it stretches out and like it's too graphic. I saw when they went to it, I saw the turd already coming out. I see any stretch. It's like you can see the side of it. It's like the little it's gross. It's gross. It's gross. It's gross. gross. It's gross. gross. It's It's gross. It's gross. It's gross. It's It's It's It's They blurred her labiaplasty It's gross. It's gross. Sylvia: This isn't National Geographic, this is Real Housewives of Mormon Lives. the Real Housewives of Mormon Wives. All right, back to Jen. Yeah. Michelle Harris: Jen, yes. Yeah. So Jen's, Jen's whole arc seems very subdued right through the first couple episodes. She doesn't really seem to make waves. She just kind of asserts herself as like the Mormon, Mormon, most Mormon of the group. Most Mormon. I was going to be like, you know, like the proudest. was like the Mormonist. Sylvia: or poor baby Jen. Mm-hmm. Yeah. The garment queen. Michelle Harris: the most Mormon of the group. No, we need to go with Mormonist from Mormon now on. so at the beginning, it just doesn't seem like she's really in the middle of drama, except for the whole centers versus states, people understanding her values and morals. Sylvia: Yeah. Michelle Harris: And then her values and morals really come into question during Chippendales and going out to Vegas. And all of a sudden her husband is like, you have no values and morals when the entire season she's only had values and morals. and it just seems like, that she doesn't have a voice ⁓ and kind of seems like she starts to get a little bit out of her shell. Sylvia: Mm-mm. Michelle Harris: It seemed to me like in Vegas, she was really annoyed with the Demi and Jesse version of like, especially when Demi was like questioning like pardon me, like when like she's crying about her husband saying like, I want to divorce you. She's like, yeah, am I like, I'm upset. Like, so does she come out of her shell more? in the later seasons, like do we see more of her? Because right now this version I see of her, I'm like, this is kind of bland and kind of sad. Like I wanna know more about you, except for, and not saying religion isn't a big part of someone's identity when you're that involved in the church, but I just wanna see more of her. And I feel like we haven't seen that season one. Sylvia: Yeah. Yeah. think she does come out more in the coming seasons, but I do think she's like very much in a toxic relationship at this point. I don't know if that's just, I feel like he's very controlling ⁓ I like she's not allowed out of her shell because in the beginning, remember she was like, they were making fun of her for being the porn star for Zach. Like she always sends him ⁓ really pictures. ⁓ Michelle Harris: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. They did say that. Sylvia: So like, she's not totally like an innocent little angel baby. I think they probably have a very, don't know, seems toxic to me. ⁓ who am I to judge? ⁓ Michelle Harris: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, no, I agree with that. I forgot that during like the whole like Whitney doing the vibrator had that they had said that, well, the porn star of the group is Jen because she sent the pictures to Zach and which Demi showed all of her photos to everyone. yeah, does like kind of have that risque side of her, but it's just not, I to speak on my own terms, allowed out right now. And so ⁓ she's of. ⁓ Yeah. Sylvia: Yeah. Yeah. She's a lady in the streets and a freak in the sheets, if you will. Michelle Harris: Yeah, that's a good way to put it. That's a good way to put it. And as Zach seems terrible, like Zach seems like such a fucking asshole lately. He's been winning over the crowd, so we'll see how it plays out. But we'll see. I don't see. Sylvia: Yeah. I think he's learning how to put on a good show, but again. Michelle Harris: That's what I was gonna ask because when, and I've known some narcissists my day, ⁓ and haven't we all, haven't we all, especially as females, know a narcissist male. Sylvia: Haven't we all? Hahaha Michelle Harris: And I feel like the more you call them out on shit, the more that they learn how to hide behaviors. And so is this him winning over the public view to have more control? However. I will say I will be curious what Jen does after Dancing with the Stars because that whole cast so far from that cast this season, every single one of them has gone off to do very big things. And I think she would have potential to do that because of how big that season was. And if she doesn't take claim on that. than something's going on there because she could do a lot more. have Whitney on Broadway. Earl is starting her own reality TV show. ⁓ has his own reality TV show with ⁓ Robb ⁓ The Traders. Daniel Fischl has gone on their tour. She's coming out with a book. Her podcast is blowing up. She has other things in the works too. Like Andy Richter started his comedy back up. He's going on tour. Like every, I think, Elaine is going back on Broadway now too that I heard, I think like that. So if she doesn't have, and she made it pretty far and she like had a pretty good running at it. If she does nothing after this and I'll be like, there's something going on there. Oh, I hope we see more from Jen and I hope that we, especially season four, I saw some clips. Hopefully she. Sylvia: Yeah. Michelle Harris: starts doing her own thing. But yeah, I don't know. I don't know. then I think so too. Sylvia: I don't trust it. I feel like he's playing the long game to get the public on his side. And then he's going to like act like she's crazy and then take the children. Michelle Harris: ⁓ my, he did threaten that. my, he did threaten that. And then you have the. ⁓ Sylvia: That's my prediction. Because the way narcissists work, are bad. They're great in public. And then behind closed doors, they make you question your reality. So then to everybody else, the woman seems like a crazy person. And then, Sorry, what were you guys gonna say? Michelle Harris: Yep. Yeah, For sure. No, was gonna say and then you have the complete opposite, right? You have the complete opposite of Macy and we haven't really gone into Macy yet. Macy is I'm gonna speak what I want. I'm gonna say what I want. Throughout season one, she has a really good edit, I will call it. Sylvia: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Michelle Harris: There's one thing that bothered me is when she met up with Taylor and told her that I'll tell you who talks shit about you behind your back because we don't need fake people in our lives. Do you think that that was related to the other girls or do you think that was more of a general comment about anyone? Sylvia: I thought it was more of a general comment. I thought she was just saying like, if anybody says anything to me, I'll tell you. Like that's the way I took it. with the Macy thing, like you could be right. She could be saying it in a bad way. But like, I feel like with what we see from her throughout the rest of the seasons, like I'm choosing to believe the better because I feel like she to be a good person throughout the of the season. Like always sticks up for her friends, I feel like, and tells it straight to people's faces. Yeah. Michelle Harris: Mm-hmm. yeah. the better. yeah. Yeah. Well, that's good. That's, yeah, I tend to agree right now and I tend to believe the best in her. It's funny though, cause when I made the comment on my one podcast of her telling Taylor that like, I'll tell you who's talking. I had one friend reach out and she goes, thank you because everyone loves Macy and I like, I don't like, so like, I'm very curious of her take on like the rest of the seasons because after that I was like, okay, she, every time they talk shit about Winnie, she doesn't like really partake. You know, she does have Taylor's back when Dakota confronts her. It seems like she has a very healthy relationship with her husband so far, and I think that continues. Sylvia: Yeah. Michelle Harris: So to me, after that point, I was like, hmm, is this more so like about general things because she is worried about Dakota? And like maybe at that point she had already got the confession and she was kind of like contemplating herself about telling Taylor. So I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt. ⁓ she's going to continue that as the seasons go on. But. Yeah, I was curious your take on Macy because she does seem very like I don't know, kind of like middle of the group, like I'm going to keep the peace. I'm going to try to keep the peace. You need that in a group to to be the peacemaker, to keep to keep them together. If you didn't have that. Yeah. season one, it would have been it would have been like, she was the one like she was Taylor's friend. She was Whitney's friend. ⁓ But really interesting what you just said. Really interesting me. When did she get that? Sylvia: Yeah. Michelle Harris: Sunday center confessional. And when did she know about that? Yeah. Yeah. And that doesn't really come out. didn't hear about it until the Vegas trip or like right before that. But she did go hang out with. Well, Dakota showed up with Taylor at her photo shoot. Yeah. And then. Sylvia: I know. Michelle Harris: then she came over to their house afterwards, but like, did she already have that? Like, did she already know about that? Like the red flags and everything she's talking about, does she know about the Sunday Center? I think yes, at that point. Yeah, I didn't even think about that. So that was, cause that was later on in Taylor's pregnancy, cause she was very pregnant at the photo shoot, at the baby mama photo shoot. And she was at the she was eight months pregnant. And I think at that point she knew. But when she told Taylor that. I'll tell you who's talking shit behind your back or I'll tell you whatever. And when I'm questioning, did she know at that point, Taylor, that was before Taylor's baby shower. So she was only like five months pregnant. So there's like a three month. Yeah, there was a lot going on in this season. Is did she know at that point, was she keeping the secret for three months or was she keeping the secret for two weeks? Like, know, like what was yeah, what was that time frame? And this whole season was kind of like a time warp to me because it went so long that it was like you saw so much in such a long period of time. It's like I'm missing so much in between that I have no fucking clue. You think you think it's a time warp to you? I didn't see any of it. I'm just hearing it from you. Yeah. So it's a fucking blur to me. I don't know what's happening. I just hear all this drama. I can show you. Here we are talking about it. No, no, no. I crap. I prefer not to see it. The point of the podcast. Sylvia: Yeah. Michelle Harris: You watch it, you tell me about it, we react, we get guests on like Sylvia, and we all move on. I don't want to watch this shit. Does Kevin watch? Sylvia: Ha ha ha! I don't need to. Yeah, he watched Mormon Wives with me. Because he showed up randomly. I think I started it without him. And then he walked in while I watching it one day and was just like, what the hell is this? ⁓ Yeah. You got sucked in. Yeah. Michelle Harris: Love it. Love it. He got sucked in. It happens. It happens. And I'm like, Matt, if you just sat down, he's like, don't know. But here we are. Like, I can't watch it now. Like, that's the whole point of the podcast. can't watch it. Like, go back and watch season one now that I told you. No, it won't be the same. I can't. Season two, season two with the pod. Sylvia: Yeah. Like have a little marathon weekend. Take some mushrooms. ⁓ Michelle Harris: The pad won't be the same if I watch season one. Yeah, we gotta, we gotta keep going. I think that's all the girls. I think we hit on all them. Sylvia: Jesse, do we talk about Jesse? Michelle Harris: Jesse drinking Jesse. talked here and there like we kind of got stirring the pot and walking away. But we can get in Jesse a little bit more because Jesse is very an interesting person. ⁓ So it seemed like she was pretty established already. She had her hair studio. Seems like that's pretty successful. G's G's studios, the G's studios. Yes. She's the older. Sylvia: Jizz hair. Yeah. Yeah, Jizz Studios. Michelle Harris: Like the oldest of the group. Is she not? think she is. Which as the pot stir is kind of interesting to me that one of the younger ones is the peacekeeper. One of the older ones is the poster. ⁓ always find that funny. I think with Jessie through this season, I didn't really have any problems with her. I just thought she was different. ⁓ If makes sense. ⁓ I want to say weird, ⁓ but. Sylvia: I think so. Yeah. Yeah, I think so. Yeah. Yeah. Michelle Harris: The labiaplasty party was a little interesting. The thought to pull down your pants in front of a camera to show your lady parts to your friends was interesting. don't know. Right after the surgery, too, like right after the surgery, she went to Vegas that weekend. That surgery did not happen that week. I mean, they're framing it like it did. She said it looked like hot dog buns down there. They were like, she's like, I got a job. And then they just drew lines on her boobs to make it seem like I'm like that thing would have had like. Sylvia: Yeah. Ayy Ew. Michelle Harris: ice packs and like the compression. Like I've seen girls after boob jobs that did not look like a boob job to me. So I'm like, that surgery happened long before. I'm not watching the show, so I don't know what's going on. can only I can only hear what you're telling me. She had labiaplasty and a boob job. Five days later, she went to Vegas. I'm just saying. Partying it up. ⁓ closer with Sylvia than girls are with one another. I don't think there's ever a chance that I would pull down my pants in front of Sylvia and be like, look at the surgery I just got. I absolutely I would talk to Sylvia about it. I would tell her about it. I'm not showing her my lady parts. at these. Look at these hot dog buns. Yes. Booms are fine. Vaginas are off limits. Sylvia: No. No. No. Maybe if I got a boob job, I would show you, but I'm not showing you my vagina. Michelle Harris: But like right away though, like let it heal first. Let it heal. it heal. Like let the boobs heal first and then show. And then. Sylvia: Yeah. Yeah. Let the swelling go down. Michelle Harris: And then, like I said, she kind of like was in the background for, feel like the first like four episodes. Like she wasn't really making waves with anything. She was a little bit upset about not being invited to baptism. She did have the whole drinking scandal ⁓ Zach's graduation party, which I thought was with the flash, which I thought was a little rude. Sylvia: Baby blessing. Yeah. Michelle Harris: considering you're at someone's parents' house. It's not like you're at your friend's house. Sylvia: Yeah. Michelle Harris: And then Chippendales and like, I'm like, I'm like, at that point, I was like, girl, like you're so out of touch. Like you, you do not care. Like all you care about is yourself. And that's what I got from that was like, all you care about is you wanting to have fun. And she is the drinker of the group. She's drink out, like I think every event that she's gone to. So you just want to go to Vegas and have a good time and drink and go out and like, you know, like that's what Vegas is for you. And like. Sylvia: Yeah. Michelle Harris: you don't care what any of the other girls want to do. so ⁓ rubbed me the wrong way. That rubbed me. Sylvia: Absolutely, yeah, I don't vibe with her at all. Michelle Harris: Okay, cool. mean, she does seem like she has better delivery of her intentions than Demi does, but it doesn't make them any better than Demi, ⁓ that makes sense. You know, like the way she says things to Jen at that last Sylvia: not be friends with her. Yeah. Michelle Harris: Really the last time you see Jen with the girls and having those deep conversations and she's being as harsh. Demi's harsher, but she's being harsh. It was delivered better than what Demi was delivering, but it still was like, this isn't the time or place. Especially when she was like, well, I also have the right to be mad at Zach because of what he said about me. Your friend's hurting in her marriage. It doesn't matter what he said about your marriage because let your marriage stand on its own. Help your friend out first. And then after you get through that, be like, hey, I just want to let you know I'm still working through my feelings about that. But like not in that moment, not in that moment. You don't need to bring that up. It's not about you. It's not about you. And I feel like she makes it about her and then she serves the pot and walks away. Sylvia: Yeah, the pylon. Yeah, absolutely, I agree. No notes. Michelle Harris: No notes. No notes. Cool. We agree. We agree. settled. ⁓ Sylvia: ⁓ I don't think we've really gone through Layla yet. Our no-orgasm queen. ⁓ Our girl who has never had an orgasm. Michelle Harris: ⁓ my God. I not. bad. I totally. ⁓ my God. That's the one girl we didn't talk about. That's one girl we need to talk about. She had the funeral divorce party. Yes, she had. Twenty two year old lady. She's young. Yeah. She also got married when she was 19 because she got pregnant. ⁓ can relate to. Sylvia: Yeah, 22 year old Layla. Very young. Michelle Harris: Michaela and she can relate to probably and Taylor. She relates to Taylor and her situation in the church. Yeah. Because she got pressured into getting married. Right. Right. Understood. then she. Had the funeral divorce party. She's she admitted to the girls. It was her birthday out in Vegas, right? It was her birthday. Yeah. Which, by the way, do you agree that she should have been the one that was straddled and but slapped ⁓ of Demi? ⁓ Sylvia: Yeah. Yes. Again, Demi, just like, she just wanted to take the spotlight again. Michelle Harris: Like, she should have been on that chair. Why was Demi on that chair? I was like, was like, what? Fucking Demi. And then Jesse was like, ⁓ the night of the show for me was in. Layla got bent over and dance on. Like that was tame. I'm like, that was the tamest part of the night. So I was like, no, Layla seems. Sylvia: Yeah. Michelle Harris: I'm trying to gather my thoughts on Layla because it kind of goes, she's very quiet. Yeah. I haven't heard my take. Like I haven't heard much about her other than like the divorce party. Yeah. She was her birthday. Sylvia: feel like she has a really hard time standing up for herself. Like she does let people get her worked up and ready to go fight somebody. And then as soon as she confronts someone, I feel like she backs down. I don't know. Michelle Harris: Right, right. Okay. No, I do agree with that because even when it came to towards the end and I'm remembering her there at the baby mama launch party ⁓ Demi and ⁓ were talking and Demi was like, that's on him. That's ⁓ did this. And then it cuts to an interview and Laila's like, Jen knows exactly that Zach's a problem. And so I feel like Layla does relate to, Jen knows that there's a problem here. She just doesn't know how to stand up for herself, which is probably her self-reflection of, don't know how to stand up for myself. And even getting divorced, that was a big part of me standing up for myself was being like, I need to... Sylvia: Yeah. Yeah. Michelle Harris: I need to do what's best for me. And so she's probably like sympathizing with Jen and Taylor and Michaela of like girls, like we gotta get like we gotta get our voices together and she is a very quiet and even when all the girls are fighting at Macy, Macy's birthday weekend, getaway weekend when Demi and Whitney and Taylor and all of them are fighting her, McKillar are the ones in the back and Layla is like, I don't even know what the, like, I don't know what to say. Like, I don't want to get in middle of this. So she does seem very like calm, cool and collected. And like, I don't want to be here, but I'm here. So yeah. Sylvia: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, but like, okay, like she's never had an orgasm before so she clearly can't stand up for herself or like speak up for herself. Michelle Harris: Yes. Yes. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. That pretty bad, especially being like I had a kid. Like if I had two kids, ⁓ two kids, forgot two kids. ⁓ Yeah, I think so. I think right. She has two kids. Yeah. Yeah, that's crazy. Sylvia: Like, let's be real here. Two kids. I'm pretty sure. Yeah, that's insane! Michelle Harris: That's crazy. So for sure. Sylvia: And like not even by yourself, like come on. Michelle Harris: So ⁓ does also? Does she also like come out and ⁓ figure out? She's embarrassed. said like that's like taboo. like it's like embarrassing. But the interesting part, interesting part is she didn't come from a Mormon family. ⁓ she's the one that. Sylvia: Come on. Like, just figure it out! Yeah. Michelle Harris: went to school with a lot of Norman people and then at 16 converted to the church. Yes. So like that's even wilder. Yeah. So like this wasn't like family. Like I grew up in this. This is what we were supposed to do is it was more so like I didn't get along with my family. I was around all these people who were in the church. I felt more accepted by them. So I went into the church and now she's like imposed on all these rules and stipulations and she wants to fit in. Sylvia: Yeah. Yeah. Michelle Harris: with all of them. So she feels like she had like that is such like in itself. Like this wacky as well. Like I feel like I need to go to therapy for some of these people. got to work through that. Like, ⁓ got to figure that out. my gosh. Yeah. So do we see more of her as the seasons go on or she kind of still stay in a little bit quiet? Sylvia: Yeah. feel like she tries, but I feel like in the end, in my opinion, she just ends up like being a messenger and putting herself in the middle of situations. Michelle Harris: OK, I can see that. I saw you kind of already see that when after the Macy's birthday. Weekend ⁓ Demi Jesse and Layla go out to Swig, and then that's when they decide that Demi is like the new leader of Mom Talk. Layla doesn't say single and this was before that her divorce party. She is silent AF and she was like. Why am I here? also, like, and then she's like, well, I'm friends with Whitney. If she doesn't show up to my divorce party, I'll be mad. Whitney shows up and then Demi's like, why the fuck is she here? So like, Leia's probably like, ⁓ no, like I wanted her here. ⁓ Sylvia: Yeah. Michelle Harris: And so she probably feels conflicted with the drama of like, no, Whitney hasn't done anything to me and she's showing up, but now we're all going to attack her at my party. So what do I do here? And then on top of that, even thinking about before that was when... Sylvia: Yeah. Michelle Harris: Whitney brought her to the salt cave and then she had to be the messenger to Taylor. I'm not coming to your baby shower. And so Layla was the one that told Taylor. like she gets caught in the middle of all this shit that it's like, holy crap. Sylvia: Yeah. She does. which I would like is so frustrating. Like I feel bad for her, that sucks. Like her friends should just have the balls to say their own shit to their friend's face is my opinion. Michelle Harris: Yeah. And that's fair. Whitney came out with an interview recently and they asked her like. Who are you not getting along with in MomTalk? And she was like, well, I can like tell you who I'm closest with, like closest to like least closest. It was Demi first, which everyone was like, what the fuck? And then it was Layla. And so I was like, that's interesting. So it sounds like Layla is still close with Whitney, regardless of like all the shit that's going on. so I wish saw more of her. guess that's what I'm gonna say. I wish we saw more of her. Okay. Okay, cool. Sylvia: Stay more, you'll see more. And she starts dating like good for her girl. Get your, get your dating on, like get back out there, whatever. They tried to set her up. Michelle Harris: Yeah. Yeah. Oh, yeah. She was the one that at the divorce party where they were like trying to set her up with some random guy and like maybe this isn't the time. Like, let her like, well, no rush. Let her enjoy her divorce party or funeral divorce party. Like, let's not let's not try and set her like. Sylvia: Yeah. Yeah, a little fresh. She did look fine though. Michelle Harris: She was like wearing like a leotard and then like a silky clear. And I'm like, ⁓ I was like, that's what she should have wore to Chippendales. ⁓ I'm just saying that outfit at Chippendales would have been like that. That gets you like a whole ⁓ like up on stage the whole night. I mean, you're already VIP, so he party? my God. Everybody. He's coming to the party. Sylvia: Yeah. Like the lacy. Facts, facts. Killer. Yeah. The baby oil. Michelle Harris: Yeah, yeah, I mean, full on VIP dinner party at Chippendale. didn't know what to call it when we started recording at first, Sylvia. So I kept saying like, and then they lubed up the men. then after. She kept saying lube, and I was like, I think you meant oiled. I had to go back and like dub over. I'm like, and then they oiled the men. I don't think they were spreading lube on these men. Sylvia: Oiled up wax on. ⁓ that's funny. Same, same, same, I guess. Michelle Harris: I was like, I I mean, oil lube, it's similar. mean, yeah. P. Diddy's there. It's all the same shit. It's P. Diddy party. But yeah, mean, yeah, definitely not lube. Let's not call it lube. It's weird. Sylvia: Hahaha! Michelle Harris: Will Sylvia? Yes. Yes. Sylvia: So I mean overall at the end, what's your opinion? Like obviously we agree she's not the villain. I don't think anybody's really the villain maybe besides Demi, whatever. But how do you feel about her actions? After all is said and done. Michelle Harris: Mm-hmm. I feel like right now what I know from season one, Whitney needs to ⁓ a come to Jesus with herself and really a look at who she wants to be her friend and then start making those those friendships be meaningful to her. think she needs to really reconcile with Macy. because she has been her number one supporter. I do think the other girls have talked major shit about her behind her back. So I think the one relationship I would hope is reconciled is Macy and Whitney. If she can come to terms with the other girls, I think the other girls need to also take a look at themselves and say like Jen saying like to Whitney, like, ⁓ what are we in high school? And like, I know that that's you blowing off steam because she unfollowed you, but like she just found out by someone that all of you talk shit about her. So maybe you take a look at yourself and see what you're saying about other people. Yeah, definitely. Like they're all talking shit about me. Like, no, no shit. She unfollowed all of you. Like, Sylvia: Yeah. Yeah, for sure. Michelle Harris: I mean, I would have. I would have unfollowed all of you. Like if you didn't talk shit about me behind my back and I find out about it. And so I appreciated when Jessie had that conversation with Whitney, she was very honest with Whitney. did appreciate that. What I didn't appreciate following that conversation was Jessie then saying to the other girls, well, Whitney is not in my my group. You just threw a bomb on her and then like and all the other girls know. And then you didn't have the decency to be like, are we going to work it out? It seemed to me like you wanted her to leave the group. You said you were happy she left the group when she did like Whitney is out of the group and we are in our post Whitney era. and I am happy. you, it almost seems like you said that to her. So this would happen. Yeah. Which also kind of gives me the ick of like, you didn't even want to try to like before the divorce party, you said, I hope Whitney comes and I hope she can speak her piece and I hope we can work it out at the divorce party. You tell her everyone talks shit. And then after the divorce party, you don't do a single thing to met to mend that relationship. Even though she showed up asked to have a conversation. Sylvia: Yeah. Yeah. Michelle Harris: was upset and then after that you're just gonna drive in the fact that Whitney's bad and she's out of this group. So I think of the Macy Whitney relationship there's a lot of other accountability besides maybe Whitney and Taylor. I think Taylor already took her accountability. like would need to like focus on herself and that but the other girls like I think it's not just one sided there. Like I think there's multiple things going on. So like ⁓ Sylvia: Yeah. Yeah. Michelle Harris: I'd be like, no, you need to like take accountability for your shit too. Before Whitney would be friends with you. So that's kind of where I stand right now. And I know that's very like a realistic view and it's not for reality TV. Like people's lives are not for reality TV. I admit that like, like if, if somewhere were to have a camera on me, like it would be boring as fuck. Like I'd be like, here I am at work. Like, you know, I don't have an exciting life. Like you need to have drama. Sylvia: ⁓ absolutely. Yeah. Right? Michelle Harris: You need to have the tension. You know, there's gotta be the drama there. But I think overall there can be drama and not like this pettiness. Like it's like. Maybe that's why they brought in the dad talk a little bit more, because they're like, we need the girls to simmer down, like let's focus on the husbands, because. Sylvia: Yeah. You can only like, hound people about the same things over and over again so much before it becomes too repetitive. It's like, okay, either move on stop being friends because clearly like, you're not finding the middle ground. Michelle Harris: Yeah. And that's how I feel about... That's how I felt about Dakota and Taylor by the end of it. I'm like, if I hear one more time that the Mormon church is so strict on people getting married and like, that's why, like, and Taylor's not ready for it. I might, I might stop watching the show. Like I was like, I'm like, if I hear one more time and by the end when they had their baby and they were in like such just like blissful state, it was almost like a relief. I'm like, ⁓ thank God. Like this is something new. Like they're happy. Like, you know, they're having their kid. They're like, Sylvia: Yeah. Michelle Harris: in this blissful state and it's like, I don't have to hear about the same argument over and I'm like, I'm done with this. I'm done with this storyline. Don't bring this back because I might die. So don't say that. And it ends with Maisie calling Jenna. So I know it doesn't go away, but I'm like, yeah, shit ain't gonna go well. This starts season two. can just, sense it now. I'm like, reconcile or move on. ⁓ and bring in Taylor's mom to cause more. You know, petition petition to have Taylor's dad more on the show. Taylor's dad was a fucking goat. ⁓ no. ⁓ is he coming up? Is he coming up? ⁓ good. Good. I liked him when he was there. He's like, ⁓ you you trip and fall. Yeah. Sylvia: Ooh, you're not gonna be saying that after season two. He does. Yeah, he was great in season one. He was great in season one, but then he just has some like really misogynistic comments to tailor in season two. And while he's like, you can tell he's like, he's the type of guy that we work with. He literally came off a construction site. Did you hear that? Michelle Harris: Ew. If those of you who haven't caught an on, if those of you haven't caught an on, because I did make that comment, like he's the type of guy that Matt and I work with. I was like, like me, Sylvia and Matt all work in construction. So if our listeners haven't caught that, we all work in construction. And this guy is straight from a construction. Yeah, we're all in that industry. Sylvia: Like, you know the type. So like, you know that they say some shit that you're just like, whoa. Michelle Harris: Yeah. Okay, okay. Sylvia: You're like, we were just having a great time and shooting the shit and then you're just like, of a sudden said the most racist homophobic comment you've ever heard in your life and you're like, Michelle Harris: Love you, love you. Sylvia: Well, no, no, no, that's not what he does, but like, I'm just saying. You know, like... No, no. Michelle Harris: Yeah. okay. I was like, holy shit, wait. Whenever you're in a meeting and that happens, you're like, everyone's like, Ooh, like how do we move on from this? It's like, yeah. Yeah. And everyone's like, okay. So that wasn't all right. Anyway, we'll have to handle that after the meeting. Sylvia: No, yeah, that's what I'm talking about. Yeah. Yeah. You just, he says like comments that you shouldn't say to your, like, I feel like you shouldn't say to your daughter. That's all. He's not very supportive. Michelle Harris: Okay. right. Yeah, I knew he wasn't supportive, but his one-off comments in the first season was really funny. I mean, he cracks me up when he was like, when when Dakota was like, Oh, well, was an accident that we got pregnant. And he's like, would you trip and fall? And I'm like, that's pretty funny. That's a pretty funny comment. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Sylvia: Yeah. Yeah. That was good. Yeah, no, those were funny. Those good. Michelle Harris: All right. Yeah. Well, we'll buckle in for. ⁓ boy. Here we go. Season two. Here we go. Taylor's dad drama coming up. I feel like the mom like not like dad talk or the husbands. We need to create like dad talk like the mom talk dads like the dads of the Mormon wives. Now we're just because Whitney because Whitney's dad was like when the cake came out and I like what's in the middle. I hope it's a trip to Italy because I've never, never been. Sylvia: Ha ha ha! ⁓ Michelle Harris: this. No, it's a piss filled pregnancy test. And this cake is ruined. He's probably like, man, I really wanted to see some cake. I didn't want another grandchild. He's like, shit, I'm not going to Italy. And I don't get to eat the cake because it's full of piss. Sylvia: L I didn't want another great job. you Michelle Harris: need more of that. Poor guy. Poor guy. Oh, man. Oh. Well, Sylvia, we appreciate you coming on. Yeah, this was so much fun. It was so much fun. And we'll have to have you back. Oh, we're definitely going have you back. Like, this is so much fun. Yeah. We really appreciate it. We appreciate your insights because you definitely have knowledge that we don't have. Sylvia: poor guy. ⁓ ⁓ This has been wonderful. Thank you for having me. I'd love to. Michelle Harris: and you're foreshadowing for the next seasons that we have to come. Yeah, got a lot. We got a lot coming up.
