- 0:04SPEAKER_01: I'm all right.
- 0:04SPEAKER_01: Okay, as usual.
- 0:06SPEAKER_01: Um, okay, today we're gonna be doing something we both didn't want to do, and that's review Dubai Blink.
- 0:10SPEAKER_01: But before we get into that mess, okay, I just want to remind everybody to please check our info box on YouTube.
- 0:17SPEAKER_01: If you have questions, please DM us on Instagram uh or on TikTok.
- 0:21SPEAKER_01: Uh if you want to know where to donate and if you want to help uh family in need or, you know, just people in general.
- 0:27SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 0:28SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 0:28SPEAKER_01: Lena, okay.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: Listen, I didn't want to do this.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: I did this under duress.
- 0:33SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: I I'm like, like, I'm Misty.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: I'm embarrassed to eat.
- 0:37SPEAKER_01: She is she calls me and she's like, um, so we've gotten like some requests to review Dubai Bling.
- 0:41SPEAKER_01: I was like, I don't care.
- 0:42SPEAKER_01: I don't want to watch this show.
- 0:43SPEAKER_01: Like, I think it's such a waste of time.
- 0:45SPEAKER_01: And then she kept being like, let's just do it.
- 0:47SPEAKER_01: Let's just do it.
- 0:48SPEAKER_01: Let's just do it.
- 0:49SPEAKER_01: And I will 100% tell you guys, you guys know this.
- 0:51SPEAKER_01: Lena's like our planner.
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: Like, she's the one who plans the episodes, she plans what we do, she edits everything.
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: So my responsibility is the least I can do is freaking listen.
- 0:58SPEAKER_01: So here we are talking about Dubai Bling.
- 1:00SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 1:00SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: I like I like with everything that's been happening.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: And it's like so far.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: Like it's like I don't know, even admit to people that I did watch it.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: You know, it's very embarrassing because like this season has been so bad, you guys.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: It's so bad.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: And I I don't like I don't think it's real.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: I think it's scripted.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: No, it's scripted 100%.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: I I think so too.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: It's scripted, it's not real, it's totally fake.
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: That's my opinion.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: And I think because the drama in it is so out of control and so wild.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: It is not even so obvious.
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: I don't even think it's like that it's out of control or wild.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: I think that it's just so far-fetched that this would be a real problem for somebody.
- 1:33SPEAKER_01: Like the Birkin bag.
- 1:34SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, she carries it in her duster.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: Well, I like who cares?
- 1:38SPEAKER_01: I'm still like like I feel bad even like talking about this nonsense with like Lena told me to watch this, and basically what I did was I ran through the episodes because I just couldn't dedicate this time and effort and energy to be like, well, let me just see like what's actually what these people are.
- 1:55SPEAKER_01: No, it's terrible.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like the economic situation was just like ridiculous.
- 2:01SPEAKER_01: Everything, everything that they're arguing about, everything I like.
- 2:05SPEAKER_01: Look, here's my thing.
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: Kudos to them for like making their money this way.
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: Like, good for you.
- 2:10SPEAKER_01: I mean, these people already had money, but just good for you for like if this is how you want to live your life.
- 2:14SPEAKER_01: But I just also think it's like crazy that in the time of everything that we're going through in the world, and I'm not just talking about what's happening in Gaza, I'm talking about what's happening everywhere.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: I'm talking about what's happening like in in Yemen, in Syria, in in the Congo, in Sudan, uh, here in America, like everything that we're going through all over the world.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: And then, like, people have time to hate on each other for carrying a Birkin and a duster.
- 2:39SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: So here's what I'm gonna do.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: We're gonna we're gonna do this quickly.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: We're gonna go, I'm gonna run through the episodes real quickly to get your thoughts, okay?
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: We talked we talked about the Birkin situation.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: The I am the company, Zaina situation.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: Brahim was so wrong for that if this is true, because obviously it's like scripted.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: I like I'm convinced it's scripted, but like the fact that he went out of his way to do that is just like messed up.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: I agree.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: And like the first couple of seasons, he was always like, he wasn't my favorite character, but I didn't like hate him or anything.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: I don't hate him.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: I must like this season, dude.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: What are you doing?
- 3:11SPEAKER_01: The money must be real good.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: What are you doing?
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: It's like he went out of his way to just destroy every relationship he has.
- 3:17SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 3:17SPEAKER_01: And I'm wondering, I think, yes, I think it's scripted.
- 3:20SPEAKER_01: And I also, so there's like a couple of things that came up on my TikTok, like post, you know, for example, like since we're talking about him, his divorce.
- 3:27SPEAKER_01: You know, he couldn't talk about that on the show because it had to be like after the show.
- 3:31SPEAKER_01: And I think when you hear him talk about the show.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: That's his third wife, though.
- 3:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah, when you hear him talk on these podcasts and the way that he talks about these things, it like makes me feel even more like the show is scripted.
- 3:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 3:42SPEAKER_01: I'm not saying about him being nice or not nice or whatever.
- 3:45SPEAKER_01: It just when you and I understand people have multiple like mini facets and stuff, but when you hear him talk on a podcast about, like, for example, his experience, and when he talks about his third wife, and he talks about like I was a little surprised.
- 3:56SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna have to find the clip and send it to you.
- 3:58SPEAKER_01: He talks about her so like politely.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: Like, there's no bad blood.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: He says, you know, I still respect her, I still love her.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: Maybe they had an agreement, henan.
- 4:08SPEAKER_01: 100%.
- 4:09SPEAKER_01: But what I'm saying is, you know, if you have the know-how to have to be on air and have this type of discussion in the way that you have, like, why are you acting like a crazy person on the I don't know, blows my mind.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: Next one.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: Uh, we're just gonna go through this real quickly and just give you our thoughts on it.
- 4:26SPEAKER_01: Mind you, I also fast-forwarded, so there may be things that I'm gonna be like.
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Safa trying to work full-time with Xana.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: That was funny.
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: That was cute.
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: I like that.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: I like that.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: That was actually like, you know.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: One of the one of the more like normal.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and then it didn't work out for her because, you know, she's not about that life.
- 4:40SPEAKER_01: No.
- 4:40SPEAKER_01: Um, I mean, really, I wish I kind of was like that.
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: Like, no, halas, the working is for the birds.
- 4:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, exactly.
- 4:45SPEAKER_01: I don't need to do it.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: Um, but uh, but I think the main thing out of the first episode is that Ibrahim came out swinging.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: Like he the causing chaos.
- 4:53SPEAKER_01: But and that's the thing, it's like there's no way that that's just like a coincidence or he's just like unhappy or he's mad about something.
- 4:58SPEAKER_01: Like, no, they told him they're like, You're gonna get paid this season to do this.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and then uh Joanna and LJ's drama, I don't give a shit.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: I generally do not care.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: Like, like, like Joanna, like she seems like a cool person or whatever, but I generally don't give a shit.
- 5:14SPEAKER_01: I do not care.
- 5:15SPEAKER_01: I was like, into me.
- 5:16SPEAKER_01: What do I mean?
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: Like, like he just introduced his character.
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: I'm just like, I don't care.
- 5:20SPEAKER_01: Like, I and that's the other thing.
- 5:22SPEAKER_01: That's exactly what I was thinking.
- 5:22SPEAKER_01: I was like, who are these people?
- 5:23SPEAKER_01: And like what's happening?
- 5:25SPEAKER_01: There is, you know what it is?
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: And she's an ugly crier too, like, let's be reviewers so funny.
- 5:29SPEAKER_01: You know what the theme is for me in this show is that it was like the umbrella.
- 5:33SPEAKER_01: I think when when the producers went into this season, they're like, we want pure chaos.
- 5:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like we want to see if pure chaos is what is gonna be like entertaining.
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: Because that's the entire, the entire time I was just like, oh my god, oh my god, you, oh my god, it's there's so many storylines of it.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: You don't have you don't have a chance to catch up.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, all right, episode, we're gonna go through this quickly.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: Okay, um, farhana and her husband.
- 5:54SPEAKER_00: Farhana, girl, please.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: Just you gotta let it go.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: She's not farhana.
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: Okay, she's not farhana, like we say, she's not farhana.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: You know, the first time we did this, the first season, we actually did a review, and the world was a whole different place.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: I feel like we were in a different time, but like you feel like these people are still in that old world.
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: I know, but like they're still there.
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but like farhana, like I remember like just being so annoyed by her, and I feel bad because now I'm like, I she's not annoying.
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: I think what annoys me about her, I mean she kind of is annoying.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: She's not farhana.
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: But she has the most annoying voice, it just gets on my nerves, and I feel bad, but I don't think she's generally a bad person.
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: I don't think I don't think she's a bad person.
- 6:37SPEAKER_01: I think she's just very honestly, like I said, she's not farhana.
- 6:39SPEAKER_01: That woman has to be depressed or something, like there's a and she can't move, like, move on, Habipti.
- 6:43SPEAKER_00: Just move on.
- 6:44SPEAKER_01: But that's what I'm saying.
- 6:45SPEAKER_01: Like, I I think like I think she you know what, let me take it back.
- 6:48SPEAKER_01: I don't know if she's depressed or not, but she's definitely had like she's dealing with some level of like.
- 6:53SPEAKER_01: She's still stuck.
- 6:54SPEAKER_00: She's still stuck uh in the past.
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: Like your husband's moved, your ex-husband's moved on.
- 6:58SPEAKER_00: It's time for you to move on.
- 6:59SPEAKER_01: But dictate to him that he can't also, also, also, I think, like, you remember how we were talking about how I was saying like the whole theme is like pure chaos.
- 7:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 7:09SPEAKER_01: I really think that she is probably making a crap ton of money from like that whole ex situation.
- 7:16SPEAKER_01: Like, I think the producers are like, okay, what if you do this?
- 7:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, what if you do this?
- 7:20SPEAKER_01: And that's the thing, like they probably have like a obviously like a court agreement between them.
- 7:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 7:24SPEAKER_01: Some sort of like, you know, a like some sort of it just didn't make sense.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: Like it's stupid.
- 7:28SPEAKER_00: Like, like, don't like it's like insulting to us too.
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: I'm just like, really, like, you're really gonna be that petty about it.
- 7:34SPEAKER_01: Whatever chaos.
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: Okay, Brahim's relationship with Danny and DJ Bliss.
- 7:38SPEAKER_00: I don't think he has any boundaries, obviously.
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: I mean, like, we're we're a soulmate, we're gonna we're having this discussion under the assumption that this shit's real, but it's not.
- 7:45SPEAKER_00: Um there's no boundaries.
- 7:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah, there's there's like no boundaries there.
- 7:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 7:50SPEAKER_00: And then, and I I don't know, like what what's your thought on that?
- 7:53SPEAKER_00: I mean, like, all of a sudden they're not cool anymore.
- 7:55SPEAKER_00: All of a sudden there's there's drama.
- 7:57SPEAKER_01: And that's and that's what like I need to, I you know what I felt like what the problem for me in general with the season was?
- 8:02SPEAKER_01: I felt like a lot of stuff happened, and then they just like brought the viewers back into a whole bunch of changes and like didn't give us any background or context.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm just like shoo fi.
- 8:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like too quick, exactly.
- 8:13SPEAKER_00: Like shoo fix how happened, yeah.
- 8:15SPEAKER_00: You know, okay, and then did you see?
- 8:16SPEAKER_00: I know you fast forwarded through some of this stuff because it was painful to watch, but did you see the acting coach scene with Mahira?
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: No, oh my god, you know, you spared yourself.
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: That was so awkward.
- 8:27SPEAKER_00: That was so awkward, guys.
- 8:28SPEAKER_01: Can I tell you right now, Lena just touched my arm, she has like dead people's hands and they're so cold.
- 8:33SPEAKER_01: And at soon, she came in today, she would did something like this to me, and I was like, oh my god, I felt it through my shirt.
- 8:38SPEAKER_01: Anyways, okay.
- 8:39SPEAKER_00: I was like a little literally.
- 8:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but like you need to like that acting coach, like Mahira, brings in.
- 8:46SPEAKER_00: I might just like have to look it up on TikTok.
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: Brings in this acting coach to help Farhana with her trauma, and like it was the most awkward thing.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: And I'm just like, no, man, no, no, like this is what happens when you try to too much.
- 8:57SPEAKER_00: But again, too much.
- 8:59SPEAKER_01: I really think some of this is like part of the whole chaos.
- 9:02SPEAKER_01: Like that, I'm telling you, that's all I felt was I was like, this is really, really bad for my anxiety.
- 9:07SPEAKER_01: Like, there's a lot going on, there's a lot of storylines.
- 9:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I really there are some episodes that I really could not watch in full.
- 9:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I couldn't.
- 9:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: Okay, episode three.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm telling you, like, I I had took notes, so we go through this as fast as I like this.
- 9:20SPEAKER_01: I like this.
- 9:21SPEAKER_00: Uh Safa and her funeral for her car.
- 9:23SPEAKER_00: Oh my that I did see.
- 9:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 9:26SPEAKER_00: That I I like her.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: I love Safa.
- 9:29SPEAKER_00: I think she's funny.
- 9:30SPEAKER_00: I think, you know, she's she's I I don't mind.
- 9:34SPEAKER_00: But but dude, that was just like what's going on there?
- 9:37SPEAKER_01: You didn't think the funeral was like it's so like messed up.
- 9:40SPEAKER_01: It's it is it is, especially because it's like an inanimate object.
- 9:43SPEAKER_01: But again, I do feel like some of this is very important.
- 9:46SPEAKER_01: Like what world?
- 9:47SPEAKER_00: What world do they live in?
- 9:48SPEAKER_00: Like him, like when they do this, do they not have any haya?
- 9:51SPEAKER_00: Like, do they not stay?
- 9:52SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't know how to what's the word I'm looking for.
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: Like shape, shame.
- 9:55SPEAKER_00: Don't they feel any shame?
- 9:56SPEAKER_00: Like when you do something, like I get you have money, I get your problems are different than the rest of us.
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: I understand that completely.
- 10:02SPEAKER_00: But like when you actually do, and I get it's entertainment, obviously.
- 10:05SPEAKER_00: Obviously.
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: We've said we've said this show is not, it cannot be real.
- 10:09SPEAKER_01: No, there's no way the show is real, and then there's no way that like anybody in their I don't know.
- 10:15SPEAKER_01: I I really do think that's one of the scenes, by the way, that made me feel like, no, this is scripted.
- 10:19SPEAKER_01: They're definitely getting paid to have these storylines in there and to follow through on these storylines because as out there as she is, and she is, I mean, look, she is a little out there, yeah.
- 10:30SPEAKER_01: She's a little out there.
- 10:31SPEAKER_01: I still like her though.
- 10:32SPEAKER_01: It's not about like or dislike, as out there as she is.
- 10:35SPEAKER_01: I don't think if this was like IRL based on like how Safa was previously, yeah, that she would have done something like this.
- 10:41SPEAKER_01: But again, I don't know the lady.
- 10:42SPEAKER_01: I'm just going by my.
- 10:43SPEAKER_00: The money must be great.
- 10:44SPEAKER_00: Um, the money is fantastic.
- 10:45SPEAKER_00: So, and then this this this bit, like Safa harassing Fahad about his weight.
- 10:49SPEAKER_00: I think that was so uncool.
- 10:51SPEAKER_00: Like, poor guy.
- 10:52SPEAKER_00: Like, imagine if the tables were turned.
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: You know, this is no no seriously.
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: Imagine you said harab about Far Haram.
- 10:58SPEAKER_00: They feel exactly the same way.
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: No, and and and I generally like I I she's one of my the characters that I like, but like, dude, imagine if he had done that to her, like shut a shahato for sure.
- 11:09SPEAKER_01: The blood would have been like upside down.
- 11:11SPEAKER_00: Like, imagine a guy saying that to uh to his wife or his girlfriend and and he's taking her to the doctors to get a gastric bypass.
- 11:19SPEAKER_00: Like, what what's going on?
- 11:21SPEAKER_00: Do you think she thinks it comes from like a place of care?
- 11:23SPEAKER_00: Dude, that's not how you do it.
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 11:24SPEAKER_01: Like it's But I'm just saying, do you think it comes from a place of care?
- 11:26SPEAKER_00: And the poor guy just puts up with so much shit, dude.
- 11:28SPEAKER_00: Like he is making money too.
- 11:30SPEAKER_00: I know he's he I I don't know.
- 11:32SPEAKER_00: I think this is her little thing that she wanted to be a part of.
- 11:35SPEAKER_00: I don't think he needs the money from the show.
- 11:36SPEAKER_01: I honestly don't think I don't think he needs the money from the show either.
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: You know, he's just going, he loves her, he's going along with it.
- 11:40SPEAKER_00: What's he gonna?
- 11:41SPEAKER_00: It's just like this is one of again, hot all.
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: Um, let's see, what else do I have here?
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: Um DJ Bliss.
- 11:48SPEAKER_01: I love that Lena took notes because I did not do that.
- 11:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because I know it's gonna go all over the place and I want to get this knocked out because like you know, I, some of our viewers, a good number of them, wanted this.
- 11:57SPEAKER_00: So I'm just giving it to them.
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: You want to hear our thoughts.
- 12:00SPEAKER_00: You're welcome.
- 12:00SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 12:01SPEAKER_00: DJ, DJ Bliss giving, did you see this?
- 12:03SPEAKER_00: I I feel like you skip over this.
- 12:05SPEAKER_00: Probably.
- 12:05SPEAKER_00: When DJ Bliss gave uh his keys to cut a cafe to his wife.
- 12:08SPEAKER_01: I did not see this.
- 12:09SPEAKER_00: Okay, see exactly.
- 12:10SPEAKER_01: Um, like honestly, guys, literally, I watch things in like two speed sometimes because I just I can't.
- 12:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 12:16SPEAKER_01: Unless it's something I really, really, really enjoy, I will not sit there.
- 12:20SPEAKER_01: And most of the time, even when I listen to like voice noise, by the way, I don't listen to voice notes at like once it's like one and a half times or two times speed.
- 12:27SPEAKER_01: It's my ADD.
- 12:28SPEAKER_01: I'm sorry.
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 12:29SPEAKER_00: I just like you're giving her this.
- 12:30SPEAKER_00: Like, what's the point of that?
- 12:32SPEAKER_00: And I feel like he's got an identity crisis.
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: I don't think he knows who he is, but we'll come back to that later.
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 12:37SPEAKER_01: Why do you wait?
- 12:38SPEAKER_01: No, no, no.
- 12:38SPEAKER_01: Let's pause here.
- 12:39SPEAKER_01: Why do you think he has an identity crisis?
- 12:41SPEAKER_00: I don't think he knows who he is.
- 12:43SPEAKER_01: In what way?
- 12:44SPEAKER_00: Like he's trying too much, man.
- 12:46SPEAKER_00: Like he's he doesn't like okay, so he wants to be this DJ, right?
- 12:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and and he is a DJ.
- 12:50SPEAKER_00: I'm not taking that away from him.
- 12:52SPEAKER_00: And like, you know, he's successful, whatever.
- 12:54SPEAKER_00: Good for him.
- 12:54SPEAKER_00: But you're a DJ, you're in the music scene, you're doing your thing.
- 12:58SPEAKER_00: And I've been on his Instagram, okay, like doing research for this.
- 13:02SPEAKER_00: Just for the thumbnail when I posted on YouTube.
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: Okay, I needed a picture, okay?
- 13:06SPEAKER_00: So you're out, you're about, you're traveling the world, you're hanging out, you're seeing girls, you're having whatever, okay.
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: And then I feel like the traditional side of him gets the best of him.
- 13:16SPEAKER_00: It's in conflict.
- 13:16SPEAKER_00: Like, so you you wanna you wanna have both worlds, okay?
- 13:20SPEAKER_01: I don't know if so much of it's what you want to have.
- 13:22SPEAKER_01: I don't I I wouldn't I wouldn't file it under he doesn't know who he is.
- 13:25SPEAKER_01: I would file him under like he is conflicted.
- 13:27SPEAKER_00: It is he is conflicted and he he wants he has an issue, even from season one, he has an issue with the relationship between Ibrahim and his his wife.
- 13:35SPEAKER_00: And I'm just like, dude, you do that.
- 13:36SPEAKER_00: Like what like it's just like he doesn't know himself.
- 13:39SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 13:39SPEAKER_00: I think he's no, I think I so here's the thing.
- 13:41SPEAKER_01: Do you know what I'm trying to say?
- 13:42SPEAKER_01: I do 100%.
- 13:43SPEAKER_01: So here's the thing.
- 13:43SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't think it's not that he doesn't know who he is as a person.
- 13:46SPEAKER_01: I think he is, I think your other statement about him, and I agree with you by the way, I think he is very con uh conflicted.
- 13:52SPEAKER_01: Like the traditionalist in him is somebody that he probably tried to stifle a lot.
- 13:57SPEAKER_01: Stifle as and just like not, it's not me, it's not who I am.
- 14:01SPEAKER_01: But I think you get to a certain point in your life where there are things that you need that you thought you never would need.
- 14:06SPEAKER_01: And I think that's what he's battling with right now.
- 14:09SPEAKER_01: Not that I think he even cares what my opinion or your opinion is.
- 14:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah, of course not.
- 14:14SPEAKER_01: But I do think that he is, I think it's not so much that he doesn't know himself.
- 14:17SPEAKER_01: I think he's just conflicted between like to uphold some of my traditional values, and then what is that gonna do for me in my like very like open, progressive you know, persona that I've put onto the walls?
- 14:30SPEAKER_00: There's confusion there, that's for sure.
- 14:32SPEAKER_00: I mean, but who isn't not that confused.
- 14:35SPEAKER_01: No, not that confused, but like honestly, no, no, let's pause here, because I think this is important, right?
- 14:39SPEAKER_01: I think this does actually, you bring up a really good point.
- 14:41SPEAKER_01: I think a lot of these, a lot of these people like on the show, are stuck in this space.
- 14:47SPEAKER_01: And he's an excellent example of that, right?
- 14:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 14:49SPEAKER_01: Between like, what do I want to portray myself as and then what are my actual values, morals, and beliefs, right?
- 14:55SPEAKER_01: And they are also the epitome of like everything has a price.
- 14:59SPEAKER_01: Because you can see like some of the stuff that they signed up for in their normal lives, I don't think they would have ever been okay with that.
- 15:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 15:05SPEAKER_01: So I don't think that he is, I don't think that he's like lost or doesn't know who he is.
- 15:09SPEAKER_01: I think he's a conflicted human being who's conflicted between this persona that he put out into the world that's now making him not just money as a DJ, but money on the show.
- 15:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 15:18SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 15:18SPEAKER_01: And then like And giving him exposure to the world.
- 15:21SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 15:21SPEAKER_01: And then like what his core actually is and what he, you know, how he was, let's just say how he was raised or the values and morals that he was raised with.
- 15:28SPEAKER_01: So I think I think they're all a little bit like that, by the way.
- 15:31SPEAKER_01: All of them.
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: Maybe.
- 15:32SPEAKER_00: Okay, new character style.
- 15:33SPEAKER_01: But I also think some of them are just unhinged.
- 15:35SPEAKER_00: There's a big like it's it's like I think the first season was different.
- 15:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think the first season there was some like realm of reality there.
- 15:43SPEAKER_01: I this one I really do think it's like over the top.
- 15:46SPEAKER_01: It's over the top.
- 15:47SPEAKER_01: I definitely think it's scripted.
- 15:48SPEAKER_01: A lot of the problems are scripted, but I also think that like in the real world, maybe some things happened because it's been some time since you know.
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's like last year.
- 15:59SPEAKER_00: We didn't do we didn't do season two.
- 16:01SPEAKER_00: We didn't because you know, like genocide and gaza.
- 16:04SPEAKER_01: But anyway, it's been some time and there's been a lot of changes, but I do which makes me feel like no, this this season, definitely, there's no way that everything in there is like truthful.
- 16:12SPEAKER_00: There's just no, definitely not.
- 16:14SPEAKER_00: All right, no care.
- 16:14SPEAKER_00: Your thoughts on new characters, Joanna and Majira.
- 16:18SPEAKER_01: I don't care.
- 16:19SPEAKER_00: Okay, so Joanna, again, I don't care about her beef.
- 16:21SPEAKER_01: Um, but can I tell you about my issue with like Joanna?
- 16:26SPEAKER_01: I don't have an issue with her, it's a whatever.
- 16:27SPEAKER_01: I just you brought me this new person and it brought me a whole new freaking problem.
- 16:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 16:32SPEAKER_01: Wallabara, what about it for shakes?
- 16:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and then we had to we had to sit through what nine episodes or ten episodes of this shit and then feel echir.
- 16:39SPEAKER_00: It's because of some she's friends with someone on social media.
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: I'm just like, I can't.
- 16:43SPEAKER_00: Mahira, okay, Mahira, Mahira, I don't know.
- 16:46SPEAKER_00: I like her, she seems like a normal human being.
- 16:48SPEAKER_00: She's terrible.
- 16:49SPEAKER_00: She seems like a good friend.
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: The problem with her, I'm just like, every time there was drama, she left.
- 16:53SPEAKER_00: I'm like, girl, why are you on the show?
- 16:55SPEAKER_00: Why are you on the show?
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: Maybe she's on the show to make money, but she doesn't want real world problems.
- 16:59SPEAKER_00: No, I'm just like, dude, she's like, Anna, uh, I'm gonna leave, I'm gonna excuse myself.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: Okay, I'll say I respect it, but don't be on the show to begin with, Habibti.
- 17:07SPEAKER_00: Like, there's there's no need.
- 17:08SPEAKER_01: But I feel like she's a good friend.
- 17:09SPEAKER_01: Don't you feel like she's a good friend?
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: I think she's cool.
- 17:11SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 17:12SPEAKER_00: She seems like like I don't know, she's fine.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: Anyway, all right, episode four.
- 17:15SPEAKER_00: Did you see the going episode by episode?
- 17:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah, quickly, quickly.
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: The dinner party where there were masks.
- 17:21SPEAKER_00: That was just like you you saw that, right?
- 17:28SPEAKER_00: Okay, and then DJ Bliss, he looked like Legend of Zaro with with his freaking outfit.
- 17:32SPEAKER_00: Like, dude, dude, that's actually really good.
- 17:35SPEAKER_01: I didn't think about that.
- 17:36SPEAKER_01: Like, what is he like?
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: Like, some of the speaking of the stuff they wear, like some of it, y'all.
- 17:40SPEAKER_01: Some of it is like really outlandish.
- 17:42SPEAKER_01: No, but I actually think those are the real clothes.
- 17:44SPEAKER_00: You know, yeah, he looked he looks ridiculous in some of that.
- 17:48SPEAKER_00: I so does his wife.
- 17:49SPEAKER_01: I do think that this is their uh their real clothes though.
- 17:53SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't think they're not gonna be like, I get like you know, you know, like you know, musicians and DJs, they like to dress funky.
- 17:58SPEAKER_00: I get it, but dude, he was someone should have he he needs more friends because they should have told him don't walk out like that.
- 18:03SPEAKER_01: Don't wear that.
- 18:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, I thought it was I don't know if it was like he had gloves on.
- 18:08SPEAKER_01: That's really funny.
- 18:08SPEAKER_01: Legend of Zer.
- 18:09SPEAKER_01: I didn't even like think about that.
- 18:10SPEAKER_01: I did think it was a little out there, but I didn't know.
- 18:11SPEAKER_00: Dude, he had gloves on too.
- 18:13SPEAKER_00: Like, why are you wearing gloves?
- 18:15SPEAKER_00: Maybe he just wants to germophobe.
- 18:17SPEAKER_00: Farhana and self-a fighting.
- 18:19SPEAKER_00: Don't talk about the germophobe shit.
- 18:21SPEAKER_00: Just keep going.
- 18:22SPEAKER_00: I'm trying to get through this as quickly as possible.
- 18:26SPEAKER_01: That okay, farhana and self-a fighting.
- 18:29SPEAKER_01: That has to be the fakest, yeah.
- 18:32SPEAKER_01: Fakus fight.
- 18:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, like you know it's when it's like me walking up to be like, I hate you.
- 18:40SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 18:41SPEAKER_01: It's like, what, why?
- 18:42SPEAKER_01: What happened?
- 18:43SPEAKER_01: It's literally the feeling that I got like they were like, okay, ready, action, and go.
- 18:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, go.
- 18:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and that's how that fight happened.
- 18:50SPEAKER_01: But anyway, yeah.
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: Um Hannah calling out Ibrahim.
- 18:54SPEAKER_01: Okay, I did not, I did not.
- 18:55SPEAKER_00: Dude, you missed the best part when they fought.
- 18:57SPEAKER_00: He called it, he told him, You're not a man, you're a boy.
- 18:59SPEAKER_00: I saw this I saw on TikTok.
- 19:01SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 19:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 19:02SPEAKER_00: So how did you watch?
- 19:03SPEAKER_00: You said you felt forwarded.
- 19:04SPEAKER_00: You didn't see them fighting, jumping on a table, and no, I didn't see them fighting, jumping on the table.
- 19:07SPEAKER_01: Okay, so basically, so just to let you know, you know how like you watch in uh on Netflix and it takes you frame by frame.
- 19:13SPEAKER_01: So it'd be like three frames later.
- 19:14SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 19:16SPEAKER_00: Okay, okay.
- 19:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he called him like he cause because hen Hannah, the Hannah, Hannah.
- 19:21SPEAKER_00: Hannah doesn't he was upset about what he did with his wife Xanna and like he brought it up.
- 19:26SPEAKER_00: And this was Again, another useless yeah, whatever.
- 19:30SPEAKER_00: I'm okay with Hannah.
- 19:31SPEAKER_00: I I and I'm not talking about Hannah, I'm just saying the thing.
- 19:33SPEAKER_01: Okay, yeah.
- 19:34SPEAKER_01: So yeah, he guys, you have to excuse me.
- 19:36SPEAKER_01: Like, I would have done a lot more attention to detail if this is something that I could get, but it's really, really hard.
- 19:41SPEAKER_01: It was tough.
- 19:42SPEAKER_01: I did it for you guys.
- 19:43SPEAKER_01: I have a hard time even watching TV, right?
- 19:45SPEAKER_01: Zeman needs to ask my my my husband.
- 19:47SPEAKER_01: My husband's point of contention for the two of us.
- 19:49SPEAKER_01: He's always mad that I don't watch TV.
- 19:52SPEAKER_00: Okay, the gym scene.
- 19:54SPEAKER_00: Did you see that with Fahad?
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: Don't shake the table because of the mic.
- 19:58SPEAKER_00: With Fahad, like like why is he so terrified?
- 20:00SPEAKER_00: Poor guy.
- 20:01SPEAKER_01: Because he has trauma.
- 20:03SPEAKER_00: Like, Safa, man.
- 20:04SPEAKER_00: You gotta like take it easy.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: Can I tell you something?
- 20:07SPEAKER_00: Like, as much as I I so look, I think there's nothing fake about him.
- 20:11SPEAKER_00: I 100%.
- 20:12SPEAKER_00: I was like, Fahad is the yeah, I like that.
- 20:14SPEAKER_01: So not that I do think that there's so here's the weird thing, and I maybe, maybe I'm um, you know, I'll go on a limit say this.
- 20:20SPEAKER_01: I actually think those two people really love each other.
- 20:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, I do.
- 20:23SPEAKER_01: I really do.
- 20:23SPEAKER_01: I think they really love each other.
- 20:25SPEAKER_01: I think that he will do anything to make her happy.
- 20:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah, anything, right?
- 20:30SPEAKER_01: And I really do think his participation on this show is solely for her.
- 20:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I think.
- 20:36SPEAKER_01: Like 100%.
- 20:37SPEAKER_01: That's 100%.
- 20:38SPEAKER_01: He's taken one for the team because he knows that this is gonna make her happy.
- 20:41SPEAKER_01: So I'm like, my man.
- 20:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 20:42SPEAKER_00: That is all right.
- 20:43SPEAKER_00: Episode five.
- 20:44SPEAKER_00: We're almost done.
- 20:44SPEAKER_00: We have what, nine episodes?
- 20:45SPEAKER_00: Episode five, quickly.
- 20:47SPEAKER_00: Um Ibrahim and the Bessie's Cafe drama.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: I'm just like, yeah, he you get into business with someone.
- 20:53SPEAKER_01: This is another one of those things that they were like, okay, we need a storyline.
- 20:56SPEAKER_00: He's he's he's a total bully this season.
- 20:58SPEAKER_00: And I I mean, listen, the first couple seasons.
- 21:00SPEAKER_01: You know, he wouldn't say that he's being a total bully.
- 21:02SPEAKER_01: He would tell you, like, I have just better defined my boundary.
- 21:05SPEAKER_00: No, no, because like listen, I'm I'm not a fan of Dania.
- 21:08SPEAKER_00: And I've made my like she's not my favorite person, but dude, like, you're not there to rub it.
- 21:12SPEAKER_00: I know, I know.
- 21:13SPEAKER_00: Like you're you're not, oh, you didn't come on time, therefore, like it's a 50-50 business.
- 21:18SPEAKER_00: Have some respect, okay?
- 21:19SPEAKER_00: If this was real, if this was real because not real, okay.
- 21:22SPEAKER_00: Um, Safa decides to quit working.
- 21:28SPEAKER_00: You know what?
- 21:29SPEAKER_01: Never in my life on a scripted show have I felt very in the moment as I did when she decided that she doesn't want to work anymore.
- 21:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 21:37SPEAKER_01: Because I was like, that's me.
- 21:38SPEAKER_01: I want that to be me.
- 21:39SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 21:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, okay.
- 21:40SPEAKER_00: Honestly, we were happy for her.
- 21:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I was happy for her, and honestly, like, she's not, she's not cut out for this life.
- 21:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 21:46SPEAKER_00: I think she's done with that part of her.
- 21:48SPEAKER_00: I think she did work at one point.
- 21:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but I'm telling you, I will say the one thing I really do appreciate about SelfA is even with all this shit being scripted, I feel like you actually see some like.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: Some some facets of a real human being when you watch her like on the show, right?
- 22:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 22:04SPEAKER_01: But that's why I don't that's why I think her and Fahid are two of the I think their love for each other is definitely genuine.
- 22:10SPEAKER_01: And I think their actual their interactions, although sometimes very scary, are actually also real.
- 22:14SPEAKER_00: Yes, yes.
- 22:15SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 22:16SPEAKER_00: Uh Mahira's divorce.
- 22:17SPEAKER_00: You know, I'm gonna say, I feel like he's abused.
- 22:19SPEAKER_00: No, he's not.
- 22:20SPEAKER_00: He's fine.
- 22:22SPEAKER_01: But he puts up with her shit.
- 22:24SPEAKER_01: You don't think it's a little bit?
- 22:25SPEAKER_00: Maybe.
- 22:25SPEAKER_00: I mean, like the whole weight thing was out of line.
- 22:27SPEAKER_00: I felt so bad for him.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: Like, that's just yeah, yeah.
- 22:30SPEAKER_00: Uh Mahira's divorce party.
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: But I want to show just about him.
- 22:34SPEAKER_00: Fad?
- 22:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:35SPEAKER_00: I think she makes it it won't be as fun.
- 22:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:38SPEAKER_01: But I think honestly, the two of them could probably carry it like a reality show on their own.
- 22:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, maybe with the kids.
- 22:42SPEAKER_00: Maybe when the kids are older.
- 22:43SPEAKER_00: You're saying Mejida's divorce party?
- 22:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:45SPEAKER_00: Like, okay, I get the divorce party.
- 22:47SPEAKER_00: I get that.
- 22:48SPEAKER_00: I understand.
- 22:48SPEAKER_00: But like the smashing of the luggage.
- 22:49SPEAKER_00: Did you see that bullshit?
- 22:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:50SPEAKER_00: Have you ever been to the divorce party?
- 22:52SPEAKER_00: No.
- 22:52SPEAKER_01: I have been to two divorce parties.
- 22:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah, how was it?
- 22:55SPEAKER_00: They're fun.
- 22:56SPEAKER_00: I don't have a problem with that.
- 22:57SPEAKER_00: Like the idea of like, okay, I want to celebrate.
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: I'm done.
- 22:59SPEAKER_00: I'm done with this piece of shit right now.
- 23:01SPEAKER_00: It's fine.
- 23:01SPEAKER_00: But I didn't get that either.
- 23:02SPEAKER_00: I was like, But like you're you're smashing perfectly good luggage.
- 23:06SPEAKER_00: Good luggage.
- 23:06SPEAKER_01: But I also think that that is part of the like umbrella of chaos that I was talking about about the show.
- 23:12SPEAKER_01: Like they needed to be.
- 23:13SPEAKER_00: Dude, they're just treating so hard.
- 23:16SPEAKER_00: Everything for them is like an imitation of seeing someone do something and then they're gonna do it.
- 23:21SPEAKER_01: I also think, and this goes back to like why I think this show is scripted.
- 23:24SPEAKER_01: I think in every single episode there was like a weird element of chaos that wasn't present in like season one, for example.
- 23:31SPEAKER_01: And like, yeah, I didn't watch season two, but anyways.
- 23:34SPEAKER_00: Okay, for this episode two, Dania brings Ibrahim to her date night with her husband.
- 23:37SPEAKER_00: Like, what the F are you thinking?
- 23:39SPEAKER_01: Like, again, this is why I didn't know.
- 23:44SPEAKER_01: Scripted gets can you imagine?
- 23:46SPEAKER_01: Can you imagine you and your husband are going out to dinner and you're like, but my friend's coming?
- 23:49SPEAKER_01: No, my husband would be like, No.
- 23:51SPEAKER_01: My husband would be like, What's you want a hoax?
- 23:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, exactly.
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: Like, it's just it's so ridiculous.
- 23:57SPEAKER_00: Especially, especially in the Arab world.
- 23:59SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry, dude.
- 24:00SPEAKER_00: But that's why I think this is so ridiculous.
- 24:03SPEAKER_00: No matter how how like progressive and open-minded and liberal you are, no one is gonna be caught dead doing the shit in the Arab world.
- 24:10SPEAKER_00: It's so fake.
- 24:11SPEAKER_00: You just don't interfere with a woman and her husband's time, or you just don't do that.
- 24:16SPEAKER_01: Uh honestly, it's one thing if like this was so like I get it.
- 24:20SPEAKER_01: Like, say Masan and they're going out like I'm not sure.
- 24:22SPEAKER_00: No, but this is but she said day night.
- 24:24SPEAKER_00: But she said day night, exactly.
- 24:26SPEAKER_00: Like, you don't do that.
- 24:26SPEAKER_00: It's so Abe.
- 24:27SPEAKER_00: Like in any, it's not even like it's not just with Arabs.
- 24:30SPEAKER_00: I think across the board in any culture, you just don't you just don't do that.
- 24:33SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 24:34SPEAKER_00: Again, scripted.
- 24:35SPEAKER_00: Um all right, so for this I have to check my phone, I'm sorry.
- 24:41SPEAKER_00: That's fine.
- 24:42SPEAKER_00: Okay, I want to talk about Muna real quickly.
- 24:44SPEAKER_00: I love her, I think she's nice, she's amazing, she's a sweet person, genuine.
- 24:49SPEAKER_00: I don't understand obviously I don't understand her calendar situation, but that's a different story.
- 24:54SPEAKER_00: But like her husband, her husband seems like a muhtaram guy, yeah, but dude, he's an NPC.
- 24:59SPEAKER_00: You know what an NPC is, right?
- 25:01SPEAKER_00: A non-playable character.
- 25:02SPEAKER_00: Oh like he's just there and I'm like, what's going on?
- 25:05SPEAKER_00: But maybe he just needs to be there.
- 25:07SPEAKER_00: Oh man, and he's too like, he's too like, dude, he's too like, I don't know, like there's something wallahi.
- 25:13SPEAKER_01: You know what's funny is like you're you're here, you are talking about her husband, you have an opinion.
- 25:17SPEAKER_01: I I like can't even remember what this guy looks like.
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: He seems nice, his name's Hassan.
- 25:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but I think oh yeah, okay.
- 25:23SPEAKER_00: He seems nice when Muhtaram and everything, but I'm just like, dude, there's nothing interesting about you.
- 25:27SPEAKER_00: Like, like he's just muhtaram, like he shouldn't be on the show.
- 25:31SPEAKER_01: No, but like maybe but maybe part of his part of the contact of her being on the show was that he has.
- 25:37SPEAKER_00: No, but he he's like, he's like, you know, a non-playable character.
- 25:39SPEAKER_00: He's just like, what do you like?
- 25:40SPEAKER_00: I what's going on?
- 25:41SPEAKER_01: Maybe he's just like background, like extras, you know.
- 25:44SPEAKER_00: That's what an NPC is.
- 25:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah, pretty much.
- 25:46SPEAKER_01: Okay, well, maybe I honestly, maybe in order for her to be on the show, he had to be on the show too.
- 25:50SPEAKER_01: I guess.
- 25:51SPEAKER_00: Episode seven.
- 25:52SPEAKER_00: Joanna's acting.
- 25:53SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: It's not very good.
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: It's not even acting.
- 25:55SPEAKER_00: That's not even acting.
- 25:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I don't even know what to call that.
- 25:57SPEAKER_00: I mean, her lunch with LJ was just that whole thing was just difficult.
- 26:00SPEAKER_00: Again, to watch it again, guys.
- 26:02SPEAKER_01: Why is this woman on the show?
- 26:03SPEAKER_00: I know, I don't know.
- 26:04SPEAKER_00: How does she get this job?
- 26:05SPEAKER_00: How do I apply?
- 26:05SPEAKER_00: Apparently she knows people.
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: How do I apply?
- 26:07SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 26:08SPEAKER_00: I mean, we mentioned Ibrahim's marriage, but like apparently, um, someone online was saying that his mom is the problem.
- 26:14SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I don't think his mom is the problem.
- 26:16SPEAKER_00: I think he's the problem.
- 26:17SPEAKER_00: I think he's the problem.
- 26:18SPEAKER_00: Um, and he's saying his biggest problem is that jealousy.
- 26:23SPEAKER_00: His wife's problem is jealousy.
- 26:24SPEAKER_00: I'm like, that's not that's not her biggest problem.
- 26:26SPEAKER_01: I mean, I don't know.
- 26:27SPEAKER_01: And I'm just gonna leave it at that.
- 26:28SPEAKER_01: I'm not gonna say anything else.
- 26:29SPEAKER_01: Fine, I won't say anything else either.
- 26:31SPEAKER_01: No, go ahead.
- 26:32SPEAKER_00: It's not jealousy.
- 26:33SPEAKER_00: It's not jealousy, it has to be something else.
- 26:35SPEAKER_00: Um like what?
- 26:37SPEAKER_00: Really?
- 26:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 26:38SPEAKER_00: You have to ask me?
- 26:39SPEAKER_00: Of course.
- 26:39SPEAKER_00: Tell me.
- 26:40SPEAKER_00: Ibrahim?
- 26:41SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 26:41SPEAKER_00: I think Ibrahim is.
- 26:42SPEAKER_00: Okay, I'm just uh Farhana asking people about Guys, this lady's gotta change her name.
- 26:48SPEAKER_00: She's not Farhana.
- 26:49SPEAKER_00: I know Farhana.
- 26:50SPEAKER_00: There's nothing about her that is happy.
- 26:51SPEAKER_01: I'm sorry.
- 26:51SPEAKER_01: Is that you to say?
- 26:53SPEAKER_00: No, it's not.
- 26:54SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 26:54SPEAKER_00: And her voice just for the voice means it's like being named Saida.
- 27:00SPEAKER_01: And you're not even Saida.
- 27:02SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 27:02SPEAKER_01: Not happy.
- 27:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 27:03SPEAKER_00: Farhana asking people about Xana's car and where she got it.
- 27:07SPEAKER_00: Like, why do you care?
- 27:08SPEAKER_01: You know what?
- 27:08SPEAKER_01: This is exactly like the comment that I can't believe she carries her MS back.
- 27:12SPEAKER_01: I heard she carries her MS back.
- 27:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but this isn't this the same thing she accused Safa of doing.
- 27:16SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't get it.
- 27:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 27:17SPEAKER_00: Like, how does that make sense?
- 27:18SPEAKER_00: I guess the producers missed something or the writers missed something.
- 27:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I don't know why this even freaking matters, but okay, I know.
- 27:24SPEAKER_00: Episode eight.
- 27:24SPEAKER_00: We're just gonna go through this real quick because it's just like we couldn't wait to finish it just so we can talk to you guys about it.
- 27:30SPEAKER_00: Um, we talked about how Safa took the head to the doctor.
- 27:34SPEAKER_00: Okay, messed up.
- 27:35SPEAKER_00: She was overdoing overdoing that.
- 27:37SPEAKER_00: Um The retreat.
- 27:40SPEAKER_00: So, okay, okay.
- 27:41SPEAKER_00: Okay, please.
- 27:42SPEAKER_01: Because this I actually watched.
- 27:44SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 27:44SPEAKER_01: Okay, okay.
- 27:45SPEAKER_01: First of all, first of all, when did this become okay?
- 27:49SPEAKER_01: The concept of all of them, first of all, if these people hate each other, why are we going away together?
- 27:53SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 27:54SPEAKER_01: Like, I didn't understand that.
- 27:55SPEAKER_01: Like, did they, and that's why this makes me feel like this is scripted.
- 27:58SPEAKER_01: How are you gonna go away with a bunch of people you don't even freaking?
- 28:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's like it's like let's put them together.
- 28:02SPEAKER_01: Let's put them together and see what he's gonna like send you on this thing.
- 28:06SPEAKER_01: Now, why would Ibrahim go with the with the ladies with the ladies?
- 28:12SPEAKER_01: I I don't understand.
- 28:13SPEAKER_01: I did he just go to stir the pot?
- 28:15SPEAKER_01: Did he is that why he went to stir the pot?
- 28:17SPEAKER_00: It's so like scripted, and it just further fuels the impressions that people have about him.
- 28:23SPEAKER_00: Um and then he goes and tells everyone Daniel's pregnant.
- 28:27SPEAKER_01: That was really fucked up, you guys.
- 28:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and even even if it's even if they told you to do that, like I guess they need a drama.
- 28:34SPEAKER_01: I'm just like, but at the same time, like that for me, I was just like, ew.
- 28:37SPEAKER_01: Like this is what you're willing to do for money.
- 28:40SPEAKER_01: Like this.
- 28:41SPEAKER_00: It's so scripted, man.
- 28:42SPEAKER_00: It's so scripted.
- 28:43SPEAKER_01: Are they supposed to be friends?
- 28:45SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 28:45SPEAKER_00: There's no friends when it comes to this show.
- 28:47SPEAKER_00: But honestly, like, think about it.
- 28:48SPEAKER_00: Like, he just that was not his that was.
- 28:51SPEAKER_00: I think it's out of character for him.
- 28:53SPEAKER_00: Like, honestly, like as like as as crazy as he is, I don't, I mean, I don't know.
- 28:58SPEAKER_01: It's just it's and it's also just like not his news to share.
- 29:00SPEAKER_00: It's not his news to share, and it's just another example of how fake and how scripted the show is, okay?
- 29:05SPEAKER_00: Anyway, and then The Breakfast.
- 29:08SPEAKER_00: DJ Bliss and Fahed and Hannah and him, and what's what's that Imirati dude's name?
- 29:14SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 29:14SPEAKER_00: Salim, Salem.
- 29:15SPEAKER_00: Salem did she remember everybody's name on the show, but she does not remember people's names in real life.
- 29:19SPEAKER_00: I don't.
- 29:20SPEAKER_00: But Salem is just there to have fun, I think.
- 29:22SPEAKER_00: He's just there.
- 29:22SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna watch a train wreck live in person.
- 29:24SPEAKER_01: I wonder I wonder if like um him and uh what's the other one?
- 29:28SPEAKER_01: The one that you're like, he's not like uh oh, NPC?
- 29:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah, uh Hassan?
- 29:32SPEAKER_00: Hassan when his husband maybe the both of them are there just to because they need spectators?
- 29:37SPEAKER_00: No, no, because Salem tries to involve himself.
- 29:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 29:40SPEAKER_00: Um Hassan is like But he's like above it all, but he tries to involve, but Hassan is just there for I don't know.
- 29:45SPEAKER_00: I I don't understand.
- 29:46SPEAKER_00: Anyway, the he he he pushes the stuff and then he accuses.
- 29:50SPEAKER_00: I know uh these like he's gonna react.
- 29:53SPEAKER_01: I know, he's gonna react, but that's why again, I'm like, it's like they were waiting for somebody to yell action.
- 30:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and then they do something.
- 30:01SPEAKER_00: I mean, I don't think he expected to actually get hurt, no, but he did.
- 30:05SPEAKER_01: But it's kind of like it's kind of like the fight.
- 30:06SPEAKER_01: Like, I feel I feel like they were waiting.
- 30:08SPEAKER_01: They're like, okay, position yourself here, position yourself here, yeah.
- 30:12SPEAKER_00: And then he spent the entire season, Ibrahim, he spent the entire season threatening people.
- 30:17SPEAKER_00: Anna, Anna, mean Ibrahim, somebody, yeah, whatever.
- 30:22SPEAKER_00: I'm like, dude, relax.
- 30:23SPEAKER_00: Like it's so like it's so extra.
- 30:26SPEAKER_00: All right, episode nine, last and final episode, alhamdulillah.
- 30:30SPEAKER_00: Uh uh, we talked, we talked about how he pushed the plates.
- 30:32SPEAKER_00: That was part of episode nine, okay.
- 30:34SPEAKER_00: Um, and then he goes to breakfast the next day and tells him an entirely different story.
- 30:39SPEAKER_01: But this is why it's like it's like this weird these all these people we live in this weird, like alternate reality.
- 30:47SPEAKER_01: It is not the same world that the rest of us live in.
- 30:49SPEAKER_01: No.
- 30:49SPEAKER_01: It's weird.
- 30:50SPEAKER_00: And I'm still embarrassed that we're spending any time on this, but it's okay.
- 30:52SPEAKER_00: Whatever.
- 30:54SPEAKER_01: I'm time, I'm never gonna get back.
- 30:55SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 30:56SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 30:56SPEAKER_01: The one that was like, we need to do this.
- 30:58SPEAKER_01: I did not want to be able to do that.
- 30:59SPEAKER_01: I wanted to spend today talking to you about like the fact that I am not finished! I I I didn't want to do this.
- 31:05SPEAKER_00: Keep that, keep that until after we're done with this.
- 31:08SPEAKER_00: And then finally, in episode nine, Joanna and LJ makeup.
- 31:11SPEAKER_00: I don't care.
- 31:12SPEAKER_00: Did you care?
- 31:12SPEAKER_00: No, yeah, no one cares.
- 31:14SPEAKER_00: I I generally don't care.
- 31:15SPEAKER_00: And finally, the gender gender reveal party.
- 31:18SPEAKER_00: Thoughts?
- 31:19SPEAKER_00: No, like if the entire uh season you spent saying you don't want to tell people anything, then you have a gender reveal party.
- 31:26SPEAKER_00: It's just like all so fake.
- 31:27SPEAKER_01: The whole thing.
- 31:28SPEAKER_00: The whole thing is just like ridiculous.
- 31:30SPEAKER_00: And then finally, the last thing I want to talk about are the outfits.
- 31:34SPEAKER_00: DJ Burns.
- 31:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 31:37SPEAKER_00: It just him and his wife.
- 31:39SPEAKER_00: With with what's that like metal thing she was wearing on her face?
- 31:42SPEAKER_00: She's just like fashion.
- 31:44SPEAKER_00: Would you do that?
- 31:45SPEAKER_00: Absolutely not.
- 31:46SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 31:46SPEAKER_00: And then like she has the watch in her hair.
- 31:48SPEAKER_00: Like that, I don't get.
- 31:49SPEAKER_00: Like, like, I'm sorry.
- 31:51SPEAKER_00: Like, like I'm the least fashionable person.
- 31:53SPEAKER_00: Like, I admit it.
- 31:54SPEAKER_00: Listen, I'm nobody to talk about these things.
- 31:55SPEAKER_00: But it's not about that, but I admit that because I'm not that type of person.
- 31:58SPEAKER_01: So here's the thing.
- 31:59SPEAKER_01: I really think that they're like, so their fashion sense is a little like unique, right?
- 32:04SPEAKER_01: Whatever, good for them.
- 32:05SPEAKER_01: I don't care.
- 32:06SPEAKER_00: No, some of it is just stupid.
- 32:08SPEAKER_00: Some of it is stupid.
- 32:09SPEAKER_00: Like, you know, it's no, no, honestly, the whole entire thing is stupid.
- 32:13SPEAKER_00: The entire thing is stupid.
- 32:14SPEAKER_00: 100%.
- 32:15SPEAKER_00: I mean, it was it was like what nine hours of our life that we'll never get back.
- 32:19SPEAKER_01: I did not spend nine hours because I fast forwarded.
- 32:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she fast forwarded.
- 32:22SPEAKER_00: Um, but yeah, that's I think it's fake, it's scripted, and it sucks.
- 32:26SPEAKER_00: It really is bad.
- 32:27SPEAKER_00: Do not waste your time.
- 32:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, don't waste your time.
- 32:29SPEAKER_01: You know, that should be the that should be the title of this episode.
- 32:31SPEAKER_00: Don't waste your time.
- 32:31SPEAKER_00: No, I my the title is uh Diving is fake.
- 32:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it was no Diving Fake and then question mark.
- 32:37SPEAKER_00: But look, it's fake and it is fake.
- 32:39SPEAKER_00: It's white.
- 32:39SPEAKER_00: There's not there shouldn't be a question mark, it should be an exclamation mark.
- 32:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know what?
- 32:43SPEAKER_00: I'll do that.
- 32:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's so awful.
- 32:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's just don't waste your time.
- 32:46SPEAKER_01: Like I said, like don't waste your time.
- 32:48SPEAKER_01: The people are so freaking shallow.
- 32:50SPEAKER_01: I can't believe that like actually, actually, somebody paid money to produce this.
- 32:57SPEAKER_01: Netflix made money uh obviously off of this and to create this.
- 33:02SPEAKER_01: I just can't, I don't understand why this is so popular.
- 33:04SPEAKER_01: I really don't.
- 33:05SPEAKER_00: And that's her review.
- 33:07SPEAKER_00: Uh that's it for for for the body bling.
- 33:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 33:11SPEAKER_00: We're done.
- 33:11SPEAKER_00: Did you want to talk about anything else?
- 33:13SPEAKER_01: I just I wasn't ready to do anything today, guys.
- 33:15SPEAKER_01: I'm tired, I'm exhausted, don't feel like I look like my best.
- 33:20SPEAKER_01: And that's it in an end.
- 33:21SPEAKER_01: And I didn't get enough sleep either.
- 33:23SPEAKER_01: No.
- 33:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 33:23SPEAKER_01: No, no.
- 33:24SPEAKER_01: But we love you guys.
- 33:25SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 33:26SPEAKER_01: See you next time.
