- 0:00Speaker 1: Good afternoon, Welcome to the program here on Sports Radio A.
- 0:03Speaker 1: I'm thirteen under the Zone. My name is Craig Why
- 0:04Speaker 1: I do. Thank you very much for joining us. US,
- 0:07Speaker 1: of course, includes the producer Cameron D.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Parker.
- 0:12Speaker 1: The d on the birth certificate stands for Dallas as
- 0:15Speaker 1: in his favorite NFL team that he actually did did
- 0:18Speaker 1: break his val and watch a little bit of them
- 0:20Speaker 1: in the right at the right proper moment with the
- 0:22Speaker 1: crazy ending to the game with Washington on Sunday, But
- 0:28Speaker 1: he picked a good time to watch them.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Are you going back to your Wait a minute, well,
- 0:35Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 0:38Speaker 1: If it will matter to you the mere fact that
- 0:40Speaker 1: they're playing on Thanksgiving Day or whatever about whether you'll
- 0:43Speaker 1: even decide to watch them against the feckless New York
- 0:46Speaker 1: Giants on Thursday.
- 0:48Speaker 3: There is not a chance in the world I will
- 0:51Speaker 3: watch the game on Thursday.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Really.
- 0:53Speaker 3: Oh, and there's no way Tommy Cutlets against Cooper Rush.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Okay, I mean I got a shot to win.
- 0:59Speaker 1: Hey, somebody pointed out what all the rest of their
- 1:02Speaker 1: games are against teams with losing records?
- 1:05Speaker 2: Is that right?
- 1:06Speaker 1: Or their next five? I guess it is whatever it
- 1:08Speaker 1: is winnable games. Maybe they get put themselves back in.
- 1:12Speaker 1: I was just there going no way, no way, boy
- 1:15Speaker 1: we go. I'm just I'm just telling you.
- 1:19Speaker 3: You know, you know you mentioned the losing record part.
- 1:22Speaker 3: You know who else has a losing record The Cowboys
- 1:24Speaker 3: because they suck, okay, stink, bad football team.
- 1:30Speaker 1: When you lose to a bad football team, it engenders
- 1:35Speaker 1: all manner of questions about your own team. Two teams
- 1:41Speaker 1: come to mind with that based on their performance of
- 1:43Speaker 1: the past weekend. One would be the Washington Commanders, who
- 1:47Speaker 1: somehow at home after having this big winning streak, let
- 1:50Speaker 1: the Cowboys beat them, and they shot themselves on the
- 1:54Speaker 1: foot by.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Having their foot.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Austin Seibert missed two extra points in field go in
- 2:00Speaker 1: the game, but they lost that game. So there's all
- 2:05Speaker 1: kinds of questions today I was hearing about about, you know,
- 2:08Speaker 1: whether they've done irreparable damage they're trying to make the
- 2:10Speaker 1: playoffs and all that stuff.
- 2:11Speaker 2: I don't think so. I think they're still in the
- 2:12Speaker 2: playoff one.
- 2:13Speaker 1: The other team in that situation is in a much
- 2:16Speaker 1: more difficult situation. The Alabama Crimson tied because now they've
- 2:21Speaker 1: lost three games and.
- 2:24Speaker 2: One was to vant.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Vanderbilt is not a bad football team, as we know,
- 2:28Speaker 1: and they're going to be in a bowl game. But
- 2:30Speaker 1: the other was to Oklahoma, who only won one SEC
- 2:34Speaker 1: game to that point, and that is apparently what is
- 2:39Speaker 1: going to do a reparable damage to the Crimson Tides
- 2:42Speaker 1: hopes of reaching the college football Playoff when the final
- 2:49Speaker 1: announcement of the College Football Playoff rankings are released on Sunday,
- 2:55Speaker 1: December eighth, But the ones that come out tonight, the
- 2:58Speaker 1: updated addition, are expected to drop Alabama into a late
- 3:08Speaker 1: fall Dakota temperature range low teens is what I'm hearing,
- 3:16Speaker 1: and so the question is how low will they go?
- 3:19Speaker 1: So they're in trouble forgetting it. And again that's losing
- 3:25Speaker 1: to bad football teams. For all the grief that a
- 3:27Speaker 1: lot of folks wanted to heap on the long words
- 3:29Speaker 1: for their schedule, which they had never control over, the
- 3:32Speaker 1: bottom is the long worst. Don't have any bad losses,
- 3:35Speaker 1: have one loss to a good team Georgia who has
- 3:38Speaker 1: already qualified for the SEC Championship, and they're trying.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Texas is trying to get there.
- 3:42Speaker 1: They're gonna have to beat Texas A and M on
- 3:44Speaker 1: Saturday Night College station to do that. Coming up Toward
- 3:48Speaker 1: that end, we're going to visit with Andrew Monica, play
- 3:51Speaker 1: by play voice of the Fight in Texas Aggie. So
- 3:54Speaker 1: Andrew Monico will join us. Coming up in a few minutes.
- 3:58Speaker 1: We do have inconceivable this hour coming up next hour,
- 4:04Speaker 1: I have a variety of things. We'll talk some basketball.
- 4:06Speaker 1: We'll hear from Vic Chafer, We'll Texas women's coach. We
- 4:09Speaker 1: hear from a couple of long worn players. We'll lot
- 4:12Speaker 1: some more football. We'll hear from Matthew Golden. There's a lot.
- 4:15Speaker 1: But also next hour, Greg Tapper, managing editor of Dave
- 4:18Speaker 1: Campbell's Texas Football Magazine, will join us for our weekly
- 4:22Speaker 1: look at both college and high school football across the
- 4:25Speaker 1: state of Texas. They're to the Sweet sixteen round of
- 4:28Speaker 1: the Texas High School football playoffs. Down we are one
- 4:31Speaker 1: week away from a possible rematch of West Lake and
- 4:34Speaker 1: Lake Travis in the state quarterfinals.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Could happen.
- 4:39Speaker 1: We are one week away from the possibility of Wimberley
- 4:43Speaker 1: against Lago Vista in a state quarterfront. Now, Lago has
- 4:46Speaker 1: got a huge task. They're playing a really good Sentin
- 4:50Speaker 1: team this week, but it's possible. So anyway, there's other
- 4:56Speaker 1: area teams that still have a shot. In addition those
- 4:59Speaker 1: two Grange they have a tough battle with Shiner this week.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Lampassas is still very much in the fight. Mason is
- 5:06Speaker 1: playing Marlin this week. Anyway, We'll talk about all that
- 5:09Speaker 1: stuff with Greg Tepper coming up in the three o'clock
- 5:13Speaker 1: hour as well. So we've got all of those things
- 5:15Speaker 1: and a lot more to go. But up next we
- 5:19Speaker 1: visit with Andrew Monico, play by play voice of the
- 5:22Speaker 1: Texas a and m Aggie's here on a Tuesday edition
- 5:26Speaker 1: of the program here on sports Radio AM thirteen under
- 5:29Speaker 1: the zone of the iHeartRadio app.
