- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Becca Tilly and Tanya rap An iHeartRadio podcast.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Hello everybody, we are scrubbing in scarub dub dup.
- 0:19Speaker 3: So wonderful to see your faces, truly.
- 0:23Speaker 4: My brother fresh Air.
- 0:24Speaker 5: It's been quite a week since we were here last.
- 0:26Speaker 2: I can't believe it's only that what has transpired since
- 0:30Speaker 2: we last that in these seeds.
- 0:32Speaker 1: It feels like it's been a month. Yeah, truly, it's.
- 0:35Speaker 2: A very heavy, long, scary, sad, devastating week in LA.
- 0:44Speaker 2: I don't really even know where to start. It's been
- 0:46Speaker 2: such an interesting experience because y'all have lived here your
- 0:51Speaker 2: whole lot. Well, you were in Santa Cruz.
- 0:54Speaker 4: Yeah, in California. My whole life been down here for
- 0:56Speaker 4: the but.
- 0:57Speaker 5: All of you have been in California for I've lived
- 0:59Speaker 5: here twenty seven years.
- 1:02Speaker 3: Wow, And I've been here I think fifteen years.
- 1:05Speaker 1: I've lived here my whole life, your whole life.
- 1:07Speaker 2: And I've heard so many people say that they I mean,
- 1:09Speaker 2: every year we have fires like this is a very
- 1:12Speaker 2: standard thing in California. We always have like a fire
- 1:15Speaker 2: season kind of October November.
- 1:18Speaker 3: H this is different.
- 1:20Speaker 2: And then everyone who's lived here is said they've never
- 1:22Speaker 2: seen anything like this since they've been here, right, And
- 1:26Speaker 2: it's just kind of hard to even grasp, Like I
- 1:28Speaker 2: know people are seeing it on TV and what they're seeing,
- 1:31Speaker 2: but it's hard to grasp the size and the magnitude
- 1:35Speaker 2: of it.
- 1:35Speaker 5: I guess, yes, But I also and it's been very
- 1:38Speaker 5: kind the number of people who have reached out to me, scrubbers.
- 1:42Speaker 5: But on top of that, random people I went to
- 1:45Speaker 5: high school with that I've just known throughout life. The
- 1:47Speaker 5: most random was the manager of my apartment when I
- 1:50Speaker 5: lived in Wawatosa, Wisconsin in the late nineties. That was
- 1:53Speaker 5: the most random reach out I got. But it's all
- 1:56Speaker 5: very appreciated. It's all very kind. But they all do
- 1:59Speaker 5: are under the impression that all of Los Angeles is
- 2:02Speaker 5: in it's just a blaze right now. It's just a
- 2:05Speaker 5: hell hole everywhere you go, and that is not the case. Yes,
- 2:07Speaker 5: it sucks, and you can and wherever you are in
- 2:10Speaker 5: proper LA you can see the smoke plume coming up
- 2:12Speaker 5: from the West side, But we are living our lives. Yeah,
- 2:17Speaker 5: So I do try to establish that, and we're very
- 2:19Speaker 5: fortunate that we were okay. But also and we're all
- 2:22Speaker 5: we're all we all have heavy hearts out here, but
- 2:24Speaker 5: also it is there are there are two fires going on,
- 2:28Speaker 5: and it sucks and it's awful, and our heart's going
- 2:30Speaker 5: to everybody affected by them. But the vast majority of
- 2:32Speaker 5: us are living our lives as best we can.
- 2:35Speaker 1: I wouldn't say the vast majority. I feel like I
- 2:37Speaker 1: was not living my normal life.
- 2:39Speaker 6: No.
- 2:39Speaker 1: I was on constant, constant alert.
- 2:43Speaker 3: Like I was more to my inducing than ever. I
- 2:46Speaker 3: definitely think.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I was constantly on my phone. There were two nights
- 2:49Speaker 1: where the fires got so close to our house. Everybody
- 2:51Speaker 1: was telling us to get out. We weren't getting out.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Thought of like packing up our house was so daunting
- 2:58Speaker 1: and sad. And then as the people that you know
- 3:02Speaker 1: and love are losing their whole lives, it's like this,
- 3:06Speaker 1: I was not myself the last five days. I was
- 3:10Speaker 1: a completely different person.
- 3:11Speaker 2: M Yeah, I felt like this time because there were
- 3:17Speaker 2: two massive ones, and it felt like there were so
- 3:21Speaker 2: many people that I know and follow and like, no,
- 3:26Speaker 2: for real in real life that lost everything, and I
- 3:28Speaker 2: don't think that's ever happened. So I guess that's why
- 3:31Speaker 2: it felt different, because it was like the destruction and.
- 3:33Speaker 3: The loss felt a little closer than.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Any of the other fires that I've ever experienced living
- 3:39Speaker 2: out here, so I guess it felt closer. There was
- 3:42Speaker 2: like the evacuation notices going off. It just felt very
- 3:47Speaker 2: I don't know, it felt different.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Tense. Tense constant state of high alert is like I
- 3:52Speaker 1: think what it and like I felt like a lot
- 3:54Speaker 1: of people were sharing stuff about of the what is
- 3:59Speaker 1: it the nervous system and how all our nervous systems
- 4:01Speaker 1: have been on this like this this heightened tense, like
- 4:08Speaker 1: I felt, I felt very on edge.
- 4:11Speaker 2: You had me on edge because I was watching the
- 4:13Speaker 2: map and that was the other thing we had. I
- 4:15Speaker 2: don't know if it's been around for a long time,
- 4:17Speaker 2: but everyone encouraged everyone to download this app, so you
- 4:20Speaker 2: were like able to see the fires.
- 4:21Speaker 1: And watch evacuation zones.
- 4:23Speaker 5: But watched it.
- 4:25Speaker 6: Yeah, we've been watching power users for a while now
- 4:28Speaker 6: and we're really excited to see a billboards and watch
- 4:30Speaker 6: duty on it. Like Allison's had it for like a
- 4:32Speaker 6: year and a half and it's it's a great app.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a great app.
- 4:36Speaker 2: But that was the first time where we were like
- 4:37Speaker 2: watching things and being kind of in the no I think,
- 4:40Speaker 2: aside from just hearing the news or whatever it may be,
- 4:47Speaker 2: and I feel the same way.
- 4:48Speaker 3: I felt like we were totally fine. Our house was fine.
- 4:52Speaker 3: We were kind of going, do we leave and.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Get out in case they're it does get closer and
- 4:57Speaker 2: then it's like congested and we can't like move right.
- 5:01Speaker 2: So we ended up packing all of our stuff, which
- 5:04Speaker 2: that was another thing, packing stuff that is important, know,
- 5:09Speaker 2: like so when you.
- 5:10Speaker 1: A lot of whole other psychological analysis that I would
- 5:12Speaker 1: love to dig it into, because I too had that
- 5:15Speaker 1: same thoughts.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Well, a lot of people didn't have time.
- 5:18Speaker 2: A lot of people were at work when it happened,
- 5:20Speaker 2: and honestly, it's horrible, but thank god it happened during
- 5:23Speaker 2: the day, so people either weren't at home or had
- 5:26Speaker 2: time to get out. It wasn't like it happened overnight
- 5:28Speaker 2: and people were in their house sleeping.
- 5:32Speaker 1: But we had plenty of time.
- 5:33Speaker 2: I mean, we weren't even in an evacuation zone, but
- 5:35Speaker 2: we had time to kind of pack bags and kind
- 5:38Speaker 2: of go what are we taking? And that was such
- 5:39Speaker 2: an interesting experience, going what is of importance that can
- 5:45Speaker 2: fit in the car or in a bag.
- 5:47Speaker 1: I literally packed my vision boards, my Robbie box, my
- 5:54Speaker 1: marriage license, my passport and social Security card and like
- 5:58Speaker 1: a bag of just like random sweats and stuff. That's
- 6:01Speaker 1: literally it. Nothing else, not no jewelry, no jewelry, no makeup,
- 6:08Speaker 1: no nothing.
- 6:09Speaker 5: Wow, just interesting. Your vision boards made the cut for
- 6:13Speaker 5: years that have already happened.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Yes, but I felt like it was a bad omen
- 6:18Speaker 1: or like I don't know, I like, you know, like
- 6:20Speaker 1: these are my dreams and my visions. I can't let
- 6:22Speaker 1: them burn to the ground. Like that's where my head went.
- 6:24Speaker 1: It was like jewelry, whatever, purses, whatever, shoes, whatever. I
- 6:29Speaker 1: literally didn't care about anything except for those things.
- 6:32Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 6:33Speaker 1: I did slip the People's Choice Award in there as well.
- 6:36Speaker 6: Oh nice, Yeah, yeah that Allison. I had that conversation
- 6:39Speaker 6: a lot. What were you grabbing a fire? And like
- 6:41Speaker 6: as a joke, I always said, like the People's Choice
- 6:43Speaker 6: Award and my sign picture of doctor Fellows an eminem
- 6:46Speaker 6: and that is what I like, we had to you know,
- 6:48Speaker 6: we were in evacuation warning and we're like, let's let's go.
- 6:51Speaker 6: It's getting close, and that was what I took with me.
- 6:54Speaker 6: Those those are only two things. Yeah, my passport and
- 6:56Speaker 6: stuff like that.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Yeah, you have all these like lists of things that
- 7:00Speaker 2: you should yeah, the important things that are like documents.
- 7:03Speaker 2: But it was interesting beyond those things that what my
- 7:06Speaker 2: brain was going.
- 7:08Speaker 4: But I can't replace, you know.
- 7:10Speaker 2: But then I realized I have a lot of stuff
- 7:11Speaker 2: that's kind of replaceable. I don't have a lot of
- 7:15Speaker 2: attachment to stuff. I realized I was like, well, that's replaceable,
- 7:19Speaker 2: you know. I just was so I was so focused
- 7:22Speaker 2: on everyone, like checking in on I think that was
- 7:25Speaker 2: the other thing. It was like checking in, Tanya, are
- 7:28Speaker 2: you still at your house? Because I'm looking at the
- 7:29Speaker 2: app and it's looking closer to you.
- 7:32Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 7:32Speaker 1: So I have like all my friends to like Becka, Paulina, Sophia.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Everybody's texting me like Tanya, get out of your house,
- 7:39Speaker 1: like why are you guys still home? And I was like, Robbie,
- 7:42Speaker 1: things were fine, Robbie, things were fine. And like I
- 7:45Speaker 1: was getting seeing all the texts coming in and then
- 7:47Speaker 1: watching it like it does like it makes you stress
- 7:49Speaker 1: and then you're just kind of like, but then why
- 7:52Speaker 1: don't we just leave right right? But then the thought
- 7:56Speaker 1: of like leaving your leaving your house before you need to,
- 8:00Speaker 1: I don't know, it was like again, it was like
- 8:01Speaker 1: psychological warfare for like two days.
- 8:05Speaker 2: We went through that whole process. We were like, let's
- 8:08Speaker 2: just go to Newport. What are the cons of going
- 8:10Speaker 2: to Newport at this point? And then we kind of
- 8:13Speaker 2: we packed all of our stuff in the car and
- 8:14Speaker 2: then we're like, let's just stay kind of keep an
- 8:16Speaker 2: eye on it, and then if it happens.
- 8:17Speaker 1: We're ready to go.
- 8:19Speaker 2: And then a house caught on fire and Studio City,
- 8:22Speaker 2: I don't know if it was arsenal, I don't know
- 8:23Speaker 2: what happened.
- 8:24Speaker 1: And I was like, let's go. I'm not yeah, like,
- 8:27Speaker 1: let's just go.
- 8:28Speaker 2: And I know Ashley Ramirez who worked for iHeart and
- 8:32Speaker 2: worked for Amy for a long time. They lost their
- 8:34Speaker 2: house and the Palisades fire, and I was thinking, we
- 8:37Speaker 2: had a conversation last year and they had moved back
- 8:41Speaker 2: from Nashville, and we're just talking about how much they
- 8:43Speaker 2: loved the Palisades and I was like, that's my dream,
- 8:46Speaker 2: like I've probably said on the podcast so many times,
- 8:48Speaker 2: how the Palisades is just like my dream location to
- 8:51Speaker 2: live in. And they were talking about how much they
- 8:54Speaker 2: loved it, and I just was thinking about all these
- 8:56Speaker 2: people who worked so hard for their homes in Alta,
- 8:59Speaker 2: Dina and the Palisades in Malibu and how that was
- 9:03Speaker 2: like my dream to live in one of those places,
- 9:05Speaker 2: and they actually got to live there and have this
- 9:07Speaker 2: home that they worked so hard for, and all their
- 9:10Speaker 2: memories and moments in there is just gone.
- 9:13Speaker 1: You know, the memories are forever.
- 9:15Speaker 2: But people are saying it's just stuff, it's replaceable, but
- 9:18Speaker 2: so many people built a home and families, and like
- 9:21Speaker 2: it's just so unimaginable.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I literally, I literally think I've cried twice every
- 9:30Speaker 1: single day since whatever day Tuesday. It's just really really sad,
- 9:38Speaker 1: you know, like somebody that I've known in this like
- 9:44Speaker 1: this got me because our imitations for our wedding came in,
- 9:48Speaker 1: so Robbie and I were putting them together and wanting
- 9:52Speaker 1: to mail them out the next day and we were
- 9:55Speaker 1: going through them, and my mentor I love so much
- 10:01Speaker 1: lost his home and I was just like, I'm not
- 10:03Speaker 1: going where this envelope's going. Nowhere is never home. And
- 10:09Speaker 1: all the people that had to lose animals inside their homes,
- 10:12Speaker 1: I mean, it's just just unfathomable. It's like it's so tragic,
- 10:20Speaker 1: and I just feel every day for these people.
- 10:24Speaker 3: It's so sad, it's devastating the wildlife.
- 10:28Speaker 2: I mean, you go, and then there's this beauty in
- 10:32Speaker 2: it watching these firefighters come from Mexico and Canada and
- 10:36Speaker 2: other states all around to come and help, and the
- 10:39Speaker 2: amount of support that people have given to volunteering and
- 10:44Speaker 2: donating and giving their time and money and energy to
- 10:47Speaker 2: the point where I saw someone said I tried to
- 10:50Speaker 2: volunteer and there weren't any spots to do it.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Yeah, And I was like.
- 10:54Speaker 2: What, how heartbreakingly beautiful is that that we're in a
- 10:57Speaker 2: city where people want to help and be a part
- 11:01Speaker 2: of something bigger than them so much that you can't
- 11:03Speaker 2: even volunteer. That you went to a fire firehouse and
- 11:07Speaker 2: they said like we don't need any more you know, donated.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Yeah, it's been a lot of like.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Beauty and pain and heartbreak and resilience. But I guess
- 11:19Speaker 2: I've never I've never experienced anything like it.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like this weird mix of those emotions, you know,
- 11:28Speaker 1: like being so sad for all these people, but also
- 11:32Speaker 1: so inspired by how everybody's coming together, and.
- 11:37Speaker 4: Maybe so proud to be a Californian.
- 11:38Speaker 6: This last week, you know, I was like, this is
- 11:41Speaker 6: I just love how we've reacted to this as a
- 11:43Speaker 6: as a as like people of Los Angeles.
- 11:46Speaker 4: It's it's just really beautiful.
- 11:47Speaker 5: I was really proud this morning every time Ryan said
- 11:50Speaker 5: one to two point seven kids FM Los Angeles. I
- 11:52Speaker 5: don't know, it just hit differently this morning.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Yeah, we did have our scrubbing in community obviously, as
- 12:00Speaker 2: they always do. There were some scrubbers who were directly
- 12:04Speaker 2: impacted by the fires. Willa Griffin and her family, they
- 12:08Speaker 2: lost their home in the Palisades fire. Lacey Gabreth lost
- 12:12Speaker 2: her home in the Pacific Palisades as well. Melanie Coulter
- 12:16Speaker 2: and her sister both lost their homes in the Alta
- 12:19Speaker 2: Dina fire. So, if there's any way that you are
- 12:22Speaker 2: able to help reach out to our scrubbing in community
- 12:27Speaker 2: and then shout out to Aaron, her husband is an
- 12:29Speaker 2: LA County firefighter, So thank you for both of your sacrifices,
- 12:34Speaker 2: because I can't imagine being a spouse or family member
- 12:38Speaker 2: of these firefighters doing what they're doing.
- 12:40Speaker 1: When we were so we went to Station nineteen and
- 12:45Speaker 1: I know, so that's the one in Brentwood and they
- 12:48Speaker 1: are on the corner of like sunset, and this doesn't
- 12:51Speaker 1: really make sense anybody that doesn't live in California, but
- 12:54Speaker 1: they're like in the thick of it. And we went
- 12:57Speaker 1: there to drop off like eye drops and gatory and
- 13:00Speaker 1: that type of stuff. And while we were there, we
- 13:02Speaker 1: were maybe there for like fifteen minutes because we were
- 13:03Speaker 1: just like talking to them, several other cars came up
- 13:08Speaker 1: to drop stuff off. There was cars that sent out
- 13:10Speaker 1: like their kids with water bottles and gatorays just to
- 13:13Speaker 1: hand like one or two over to the firefighters. And
- 13:16Speaker 1: this is like, I mean, it was like raining ash
- 13:19Speaker 1: like it was. It was bad, and like these just
- 13:22Speaker 1: seeing like these kids and the dad in the front
- 13:24Speaker 1: seat and you know what I mean, like just doing
- 13:27Speaker 1: what they can and like and then another fire station
- 13:29Speaker 1: that I went to, these people came up with home
- 13:31Speaker 1: cooked food for them and then they're not allowed to
- 13:34Speaker 1: take that FYI. Oh I know, but it was all
- 13:38Speaker 1: It's just really really sweet seeing everybody like come out.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Yeah, the home cooked food thing, I didn't know about that.
- 13:46Speaker 2: It makes sense though, Yeah, it makes sense.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:48Speaker 4: I love that video.
- 13:49Speaker 6: Its going around of the in and outs giving out
- 13:51Speaker 6: a lot of meals to first responders. There's a video
- 13:52Speaker 6: of like a bunch of firefighters coming in and everyone
- 13:54Speaker 6: just breaking into rockets applause, like everyone just freaking out,
- 13:58Speaker 6: And I was like, yeah, in out, let's go.
- 14:01Speaker 1: That's the other thing, Like the all the companies that
- 14:05Speaker 1: are coming out and giving, like donating food and free
- 14:08Speaker 1: measles and all stuff. I'm like, I'm clocking all of you,
- 14:10Speaker 1: and I will be using you in the future, because
- 14:13Speaker 1: anybody that's there to lend a hand, unlike these other
- 14:16Speaker 1: assholes out there who are gouging their prices and like
- 14:20Speaker 1: hiring their prices to take advantage of the situation. It's
- 14:23Speaker 1: so disgusting.
- 14:24Speaker 2: It's disgusting. These moments bring out the best in people
- 14:28Speaker 2: or the worst in people, you know. But it was
- 14:31Speaker 2: kind of a reminder because you've seen the support from
- 14:34Speaker 2: all over the specifically all over the country and the world,
- 14:38Speaker 2: and it kind of makes you go, what, maybe there's
- 14:40Speaker 2: more good than there is bad, you know, like this
- 14:43Speaker 2: is such a horrible time, and obviously there's always gonna
- 14:46Speaker 2: be people that you just go like, why, like why
- 14:48Speaker 2: why are you doing that? Why are you gouging your
- 14:50Speaker 2: prices for people that had just lost everything? But then
- 14:53Speaker 2: you see the amount of good in the world.
- 14:57Speaker 1: But there was one night that again I don't want
- 15:00Speaker 1: what night it was, but we the kids were scared
- 15:05Speaker 1: at one point, Like our youngest was like scared, and
- 15:07Speaker 1: so Robbie was like, I don't want to alarm him,
- 15:12Speaker 1: but it was the night where the fire was getting
- 15:14Speaker 1: like really close to our house, and so like, I
- 15:17Speaker 1: was just so grateful to have a partner in this
- 15:19Speaker 1: moment because I get so chaotic and stressy and he's
- 15:24Speaker 1: always so calm, and he was like, I'm just gonna
- 15:27Speaker 1: stay I'm gonna sit on the couch and I'm gonna
- 15:29Speaker 1: monitor this fire even if it's through the night. I
- 15:31Speaker 1: won't sleep. You guys all go to sleep, and like
- 15:34Speaker 1: I got it. If anything happens, like I'll wake us
- 15:36Speaker 1: all up and we'll get out. Like he was just
- 15:37Speaker 1: so calm about everything that like I was able to
- 15:41Speaker 1: to sleep, and you know what I mean, Like it
- 15:42Speaker 1: made me really grateful to have a partner like that,
- 15:44Speaker 1: because to me in that situation would have been a disaster.
- 15:49Speaker 3: Like truly, I would have been on the other side
- 15:53Speaker 3: of the country. No, truly.
- 15:55Speaker 1: He's like he's like just like wanted to stay in
- 15:58Speaker 1: because of the air quality and stuff. And I'm like
- 16:00Speaker 1: I need to help. I need to get out there,
- 16:02Speaker 1: like I can't be in here, you know, Like it's
- 16:04Speaker 1: like it was literally like I saw Yin and Yang. Yeah, Yin?
- 16:08Speaker 3: What Yin and Yang?
- 16:10Speaker 1: Yin and Yang?
- 16:10Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 16:11Speaker 1: What did I say?
- 16:12Speaker 2: Ying?
- 16:13Speaker 1: Oh? Yeah, that's we.
- 16:18Speaker 2: So we ended up going down to Newport and it
- 16:22Speaker 2: was just I hadn't gotten to see my sister because
- 16:24Speaker 2: over the holiday she got sick, and it was so
- 16:27Speaker 2: we just got to have this like escape from what
- 16:30Speaker 2: was going on and keep an eye on things, making
- 16:33Speaker 2: sure we were checking on our friends. But I was like,
- 16:35Speaker 2: these are the moments and their neighbors were taking up
- 16:37Speaker 2: stuff to donate from Orange County.
- 16:39Speaker 3: I was like, wow, this is was really cool.
- 16:42Speaker 2: Yeah, but there is this I also saw something. There
- 16:46Speaker 2: is this urgency for everyone to help in these moments
- 16:48Speaker 2: like right after crisis, right and then.
- 16:51Speaker 3: People obviously everyone life moves on.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Everyone moves on, and there's still gonna be people who
- 16:57Speaker 2: are struggling for literally years to come. So you know,
- 17:03Speaker 2: I hope that people can keep this energy, including myself,
- 17:05Speaker 2: Like I hope I can keep this energy of like
- 17:08Speaker 2: wanting to help and looking out for people who are
- 17:10Speaker 2: struggling like we have all this furniture that we had
- 17:13Speaker 2: previously planned to sell on Facebook marketplace. I'm like, let's
- 17:16Speaker 2: just see, but it's like where do you people don't
- 17:18Speaker 2: have space for that stuff yet, you know they don't yet,
- 17:21Speaker 2: but keeping the energy of like when that time comes
- 17:24Speaker 2: to think of those people.
- 17:26Speaker 1: I can't even like, I'm so emotional, but like our
- 17:31Speaker 1: boss Amy Sugarman gave up her apartment to a family
- 17:35Speaker 1: that I know that lost their home and like I
- 17:37Speaker 1: just I heard it and I just started bawling, like
- 17:40Speaker 1: could not hold back tears because I'm like, they're a
- 17:43Speaker 1: family of five, you know, and it's just really people
- 17:51Speaker 1: are going above and beyond and like these people literally
- 17:55Speaker 1: don't even have any Like they have nothing.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's truly impossible to grasp what that
- 18:05Speaker 2: feels like, you know.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Not being like we're going to finish our jobs today
- 18:09Speaker 1: and we're gonna go home. Imagine not having that not
- 18:13Speaker 1: knowing you know, like these people that have are they're
- 18:15Speaker 1: in shelters or there somewhere where they can only be
- 18:18Speaker 1: for about like a week or two weeks. Then what.
- 18:22Speaker 5: I know.
- 18:23Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying.
- 18:23Speaker 2: There has to we have to keep this momentum momentum, and.
- 18:29Speaker 5: I did.
- 18:30Speaker 6: So we weren't under like evacuation order. We were under
- 18:33Speaker 6: like a severe warning like this. Yeah, we could see
- 18:37Speaker 6: flames on the hillside. We're living Minriuvia, which is near
- 18:40Speaker 6: the Eating Fire, the eastern border of the Eating Fire.
- 18:42Speaker 6: And uh, we didn't have We lost power from Tuesday
- 18:45Speaker 6: to it didn't come back to like Friday evening.
- 18:47Speaker 4: So the first day I was like.
- 18:49Speaker 6: We can deal with no power, and then uh, then
- 18:51Speaker 6: we lost water and and and we didn't have cell
- 18:54Speaker 6: signal because they turn off the cell towers. So it's
- 18:56Speaker 6: like I don't like that I can't call anybody or
- 18:58Speaker 6: like you know, yeah, we're sitting in the dark. And
- 19:01Speaker 6: so producer Sam's boyfriend Matt, one of my oldest friends,
- 19:04Speaker 6: took us in, let us stay to his house for
- 19:06Speaker 6: like three days down in Marina del Rey, and I
- 19:08Speaker 6: was so kind to us to take us in until
- 19:11Speaker 6: we got Then the fire was more contained by the
- 19:15Speaker 6: time we went back, and so we're back in our
- 19:16Speaker 6: house now. But like this is I just wanted to
- 19:19Speaker 6: make sure Matt got his Uh. I appreciate you so much, Matt.
- 19:22Speaker 4: I know you're not.
- 19:22Speaker 6: Listening to this but Sam will pass this along.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Yeah, it's so thank y'all to everyone. I think so
- 19:33Speaker 2: many people reached out to me. I almost felt like guilt.
- 19:36Speaker 2: I'm like, we're fine, our house is fine, we're safe,
- 19:38Speaker 2: you know, thank you for checking in. Thank y'all for
- 19:41Speaker 2: you know, caring about all of us. And we love
- 19:44Speaker 2: y'all and we love LA so much. We're going to
- 19:48Speaker 2: take a break and we'll be right back.
- 20:06Speaker 1: All right, we are back.
- 20:08Speaker 2: So last week we discussed Robbie's sleeping attire and again
- 20:18Speaker 2: a long time response, some really incredible comments on the
- 20:24Speaker 2: Facebook group that had me actually laughing out loud and
- 20:28Speaker 2: Robbie just fighting for his life in the comments.
- 20:34Speaker 3: Going back to them, and I just need.
- 20:37Speaker 2: To know how the conversation went when he found out
- 20:40Speaker 2: that you exposed Winnie the Pooh.
- 20:45Speaker 1: It did not go great. No, And I think he
- 20:48Speaker 1: said it to you too. I feel like I had
- 20:50Speaker 1: shared it at a dinner party or something.
- 20:52Speaker 3: I was at Morgan's wedding dinner.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, I was like, I feel like I shared
- 20:57Speaker 1: this publicly, not publicly, but like in an intimate group before.
- 21:01Speaker 1: And he was like, Babe, you can't just like tell
- 21:03Speaker 1: people how I sleep at night, and I was like,
- 21:05Speaker 1: oh really, Like I was like, that's so weird. Why
- 21:07Speaker 1: who cares? But whatever, he's not me, and so I
- 21:10Speaker 1: was like, totally get it. So sorry. So I knew
- 21:13Speaker 1: when it came up on the podcast, I had an inkling.
- 21:16Speaker 1: I was a little drunk that night, but I had
- 21:18Speaker 1: a little, a little inkling flashback to that. I was like,
- 21:21Speaker 1: I don't think he's gonna like this conversation. So I
- 21:25Speaker 1: told him about it, and I tried to like blame
- 21:27Speaker 1: it on you because you did. You're the one who
- 21:30Speaker 1: said it. What did I throw the tapes?
- 21:33Speaker 5: We don't have that standard.
- 21:36Speaker 1: You're the one because they were like how do they sleep?
- 21:37Speaker 1: And I was like being a little coy about it,
- 21:39Speaker 1: and you were like Winnie the Boo, it was okay,
- 21:43Speaker 1: it's fine. But I couldn't blame it on you, which
- 21:45Speaker 1: was nice.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll have to re listen. For some reason, felt
- 21:49Speaker 2: like you brought it up. So I felt very innocent and.
- 21:51Speaker 5: Prompted you to bring it up. I feel like this
- 21:53Speaker 5: is on me.
- 21:54Speaker 1: Yeah, it's definitely on you. I was like, so I
- 21:57Speaker 1: was going to tell the story on the morning show too,
- 22:00Speaker 1: and I was like, but.
- 22:01Speaker 5: I will not and I wasn't.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Yeah, so anyways, I thought he was like genuinely like
- 22:08Speaker 1: upset about it. Cut to two hours later, he's going
- 22:11Speaker 1: in the Facebook group prying to people, creating his own
- 22:15Speaker 1: top contributor response. Yeah yeah, yeah, So now I feel
- 22:18Speaker 1: like he's now owned it and feels a little bit freer.
- 22:23Speaker 2: Yeah, like it's like almost probably a relief to notes
- 22:27Speaker 2: out in the open.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, like there's no more skeletons, no, no, no, no,
- 22:32Speaker 1: his shoulders is why Robbie is Robbie is he is?
- 22:35Speaker 3: He really is?
- 22:36Speaker 1: Because I don't know that I would have handled about.
- 22:38Speaker 5: I would have had the same reaction, which was, what
- 22:40Speaker 5: are you doing? Why are you saying that on the podcast?
- 22:43Speaker 5: But then I don't know that I would have come
- 22:44Speaker 5: around as fast as he did. It was pretty quick
- 22:47Speaker 5: and so funny, so.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Funny, so funny. Yeah, like it may.
- 22:50Speaker 2: I'm like, we need to have him on too, He
- 22:53Speaker 2: needs to have his voice, you know, So.
- 22:55Speaker 5: Can we talk about it in the morning show?
- 22:59Speaker 2: No?
- 22:59Speaker 1: We because I think the thing that you forget is
- 23:01Speaker 1: that he is a working professional.
- 23:03Speaker 5: That's true.
- 23:07Speaker 1: You can't just be saying that stuff like some of
- 23:09Speaker 1: his clients listen to the morning show.
- 23:11Speaker 5: I mean sweet James has been fine and they were
- 23:13Speaker 5: in Real house Wives The Beverly Hill sayd all kinds
- 23:15Speaker 5: of intimate things about his personal life. Oh yeah, I'll
- 23:20Speaker 5: tell you off the air.
- 23:21Speaker 1: His personal life just sleeps with a T shirt on.
- 23:24Speaker 1: It's his personal.
- 23:26Speaker 5: Well, they're talking about some of James's physical attributes. Yeah,
- 23:32Speaker 5: well it is.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Apparently it's very frowned upon the way he sleeps.
- 23:35Speaker 4: Robbie by whom all of you all I distributed the tape.
- 23:39Speaker 4: It was Marcus entirely to blame.
- 23:41Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 23:42Speaker 6: I was gonna say Mecca piled on, but Mark initiated.
- 23:47Speaker 1: I'll do anything for a giggle, and one thing I
- 23:50Speaker 1: will do is not except blame.
- 23:53Speaker 5: I am not.
- 23:56Speaker 6: Yeah, I appreciate you keeping it in the show because
- 23:58Speaker 6: you could have said, like, cut it out.
- 24:00Speaker 1: I asked him, I said, do you want us to
- 24:01Speaker 1: cut it out of the podcast, and he said, no, no, no,
- 24:03Speaker 1: it's fine. It's nice to be open and free blow
- 24:07Speaker 1: the bell.
- 24:09Speaker 2: I'm to make the offer for some reason. I do
- 24:12Speaker 2: imagine it's a crop top and that's.
- 24:14Speaker 1: What really that long see.
- 24:17Speaker 4: I was picturing like a little bit of coverage gown like.
- 24:22Speaker 4: I don't know why.
- 24:22Speaker 6: It is the image of his like as just hanging
- 24:25Speaker 6: out just barely well, he's brushing.
- 24:27Speaker 4: His teeth is so funny to me.
- 24:30Speaker 3: Definitely, not long.
- 24:34Speaker 4: The shirt, the shirt.
- 24:36Speaker 1: I've had winny in my mind. And when he wears
- 24:38Speaker 1: a full crop top, No, definitely.
- 24:43Speaker 5: So maybe it's more of a Donald Duck or a
- 24:45Speaker 5: porky pig.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Yes, yes, Doc, Yeah, one of my favorite ones was
- 24:50Speaker 2: it was like he and Tanya split a pajama sets
- 24:55Speaker 2: the top.
- 24:55Speaker 1: And I loved that.
- 25:00Speaker 5: Grubbers are funny.
- 25:01Speaker 1: They're so funny, very funny. And also I just want
- 25:03Speaker 1: to give Robbie a congratulations because he has now become
- 25:06Speaker 1: a top contributor in the scrubbing.
- 25:08Speaker 4: Yes, major title.
- 25:10Speaker 5: Yeah, it's appropriate because the only is a top. So that's.
- 25:20Speaker 2: I'm trying to So while we were in Newport, Haley goes,
- 25:27Speaker 2: oh my gosh, baby, they just dropped three episodes of Traders.
- 25:30Speaker 1: I'm hoping that you would say that. Did you watch
- 25:33Speaker 1: them yet?
- 25:34Speaker 2: Yes?
- 25:34Speaker 1: What are you thinking? Obsess? Although I'm a little bit bumped.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Should we talk about when we come back?
- 25:40Speaker 5: No, we're good.
- 25:45Speaker 1: I don't want to give spoilers away, so I won't,
- 25:47Speaker 1: but I'm a little upset for the first person first too.
- 25:50Speaker 1: The first two were like my favorites that I was
- 25:52Speaker 1: watching for. So oh wow, the first one you were
- 25:56Speaker 1: watching for, no, no, no, But I was excited to
- 25:59Speaker 1: like see them in the mix, you know. But the
- 26:02Speaker 1: second one that went home, I was like, that was
- 26:04Speaker 1: to me, Yeah, and that was what I was watching for.
- 26:07Speaker 1: So I'm a little bummed about that. Yeah, it felt
- 26:10Speaker 1: too soon.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know if I'm one hundred on board
- 26:15Speaker 2: with who the Traders are.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Okay, So it's funny that you say that, because I
- 26:20Speaker 1: too felt the same way. But I have a feeling.
- 26:24Speaker 1: It's like hard to talk about it because you don't
- 26:25Speaker 1: give spoilers, but I have a feeling. Spoiler alert, let's
- 26:28Speaker 1: talk about it. Spoiler We're going to.
- 26:30Speaker 3: Talk about spoilers on this season of Traders, and.
- 26:33Speaker 5: It's like three episodes in, right, Yeah.
- 26:35Speaker 3: Three episodes. Yeah.
- 26:37Speaker 1: I feel like the Traders that they picked were not
- 26:39Speaker 1: the best, except for the survivor girl because she's so
- 26:44Speaker 1: whack a doodle Carolyn.
- 26:47Speaker 5: Oh, yes, okay, like I.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Wouldn't know what to make Yeah, so like that's a
- 26:53Speaker 1: good trader because you just can't like figure her out.
- 26:57Speaker 3: Yeah, she's She's thrown everyone off a little bit.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Danielle. I think it was a horrible choice. She's such
- 27:02Speaker 1: a she talks crying, everybody goes. It's a little too
- 27:07Speaker 1: ACTI And then Bob the drag Queen talks too much,
- 27:11Speaker 1: talks too much.
- 27:12Speaker 2: I'm like, I would have him read in two seconds
- 27:15Speaker 2: on the roundtable.
- 27:16Speaker 1: So I have a feeling that they are going to
- 27:18Speaker 1: catch two traders quickly. Boston Rob is going to take
- 27:21Speaker 1: over and really like get them in a good position. Yeah,
- 27:24Speaker 1: Boston Rob, he knows what's up.
- 27:27Speaker 2: Yeah, but everyone's suspicious of him, so I think they'll
- 27:31Speaker 2: be on guard. I think coming from a show where
- 27:34Speaker 2: you had to like villainize your way to the top
- 27:36Speaker 2: to win doesn't actually bode well for your trader's experience.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Right, which is why they voted Tony off right.
- 27:44Speaker 2: Yeah, so too kind of villainous whatever.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Reputation.
- 27:52Speaker 3: Dylan e Fron is so cute, so cute and seems
- 27:56Speaker 3: so sweet.
- 27:56Speaker 1: I love it.
- 27:57Speaker 3: He like knows all the reality stars, he.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Like his real and I also like love that he's
- 28:02Speaker 1: spot on with Bob the Dragon. I'm like, man, that's
- 28:04Speaker 1: a good guy. With some good instinct, good instinct marry
- 28:08Speaker 1: that man is a single.
- 28:11Speaker 3: I don't know. He's so cute though.
- 28:14Speaker 1: So cute. We should find that out. Speaking of single,
- 28:18Speaker 1: Britney spears x on there.
- 28:20Speaker 2: Yeah, he's he could have been a good trader because
- 28:23Speaker 2: he doesn't speak.
- 28:25Speaker 1: I haven't heard him speak. Sounds like no.
- 28:28Speaker 5: Dylan does not appear to be dating anyone. He was
- 28:30Speaker 5: at one point dating Vanessa Hudgens's sister, which is kind
- 28:33Speaker 5: of funny. Oh my gosh's brother, but not anymore.
- 28:39Speaker 3: What an interesting turn of events.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Yeah, honestly, who do we Raquel?
- 28:46Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 28:48Speaker 2: Should we tell her to see if Selena?
- 28:53Speaker 1: I don't know that we have any pool.
- 28:54Speaker 2: But.
- 28:56Speaker 1: I feel like we know people that know him. I
- 28:57Speaker 1: feel like he's friends with Jason Kennedy. Oh my gosh,
- 29:00Speaker 1: I know we have wheels are turning?
- 29:02Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay.
- 29:04Speaker 2: I Also, there was a celebrity breakup that I may
- 29:10Speaker 2: or may not have predicted.
- 29:12Speaker 1: You did predict it, you predicted this breakup.
- 29:15Speaker 5: Also, we'll get to that. And also, Tanya has a
- 29:18Speaker 5: story that is the what maybe the most Tanya story
- 29:21Speaker 5: I've ever heard to one of them. It's right up there.
- 29:24Speaker 5: It's a very Tanya story, and that's what I love
- 29:26Speaker 5: about it.
- 29:27Speaker 2: She nods, She said, sadly, it's true.
- 29:31Speaker 1: We're gonna take a break. Yeah, okay, now you want
- 29:34Speaker 1: to break now he wants a break, all right.
- 29:55Speaker 2: So I had done, you know, my breakup predictions, which
- 29:58Speaker 2: you know, I hate that I'm a part of these.
- 30:01Speaker 1: It's a gift, though it's it's a burden to carry,
- 30:05Speaker 1: and uh, honestly, it's a nice like wedding trick.
- 30:10Speaker 4: Yeah, it's great.
- 30:12Speaker 1: And you're like twenty thirty six.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Well this one I said was
- 30:19Speaker 2: gonna happen in the next six months. I think I
- 30:21Speaker 2: said they had six months left in the relationship, but
- 30:23Speaker 2: they would definitely break up this year. So I was
- 30:25Speaker 2: a little off on my My timing was a little skewed.
- 30:28Speaker 1: But you know what, you were spot on because TMZ
- 30:32Speaker 1: reported that Austin Butler and Kay Gerber are no more
- 30:36Speaker 1: or no more.
- 30:37Speaker 5: Yeah. I had written down at your prediction summer of
- 30:39Speaker 5: twenty five.
- 30:40Speaker 3: Yeah. I thought they'd make it least till summer.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Oh yeah, but they did it close to summer.
- 30:45Speaker 3: It's not it's January.
- 30:48Speaker 1: Yeah, summer is going to be here.
- 30:51Speaker 5: You can't actually get farther from summer.
- 30:54Speaker 1: I thought I meant summer in Australia is what I
- 30:56Speaker 1: was thinking happened. I think it's not even true furthest
- 31:01Speaker 1: from summer September because it sum way back around January
- 31:09Speaker 1: is really close to February, which is close to March
- 31:11Speaker 1: and April and then May, basically the summer.
- 31:13Speaker 5: Well, I vehmicly disagree they were close to summer right now,
- 31:18Speaker 5: but most people would it be weird, thank you, it'd
- 31:22Speaker 5: be weird for you to say on her December thirtieth show,
- 31:24Speaker 5: which it was for you to say, oh, they'll be
- 31:26Speaker 5: done in two weeks. You don't want to be that person.
- 31:28Speaker 2: I was trying to be like stealth with how I
- 31:32Speaker 2: was delivering the news. I think I meant it was
- 31:34Speaker 2: Australian summer twenty twenty five.
- 31:37Speaker 3: They were done, so.
- 31:39Speaker 1: Well, you're right, because they are no more.
- 31:42Speaker 3: They're no more.
- 31:42Speaker 2: My other predictions for this year says stay tuned from
- 31:45Speaker 2: c TMZ. Yes, Tate mcgrae and kid Lroy. I don't
- 31:49Speaker 2: even know are they still.
- 31:50Speaker 5: Do we know?
- 31:51Speaker 1: We don't know, but as far as we know, they
- 31:53Speaker 1: are still together.
- 31:54Speaker 3: Gracie Abrams and Paul mescal this.
- 31:58Speaker 5: Cow do I have that? I don't think I have
- 32:01Speaker 5: that one.
- 32:01Speaker 1: You don't.
- 32:02Speaker 5: You said they'd break up in this year, okay?
- 32:06Speaker 2: And then I said Dan and Tom Holland, and I
- 32:08Speaker 2: said them forever and.
- 32:10Speaker 1: They gotten wosh, Selena and Bennie. I said forever, Wow, Arianna.
- 32:18Speaker 3: And Ethan, I said until twenty twenty six. Because I
- 32:20Speaker 3: think they're any problem.
- 32:21Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Justin, I said in ten years, ye, I
- 32:28Speaker 1: think Kylie.
- 32:29Speaker 2: And Timothy Timothy Timothy Timothey last through this year.
- 32:34Speaker 1: Really you still think that.
- 32:35Speaker 3: They seemed quite You don't think the game and globes.
- 32:39Speaker 1: No, No, okay, Jane Kramer and Alan Russell forever when
- 32:46Speaker 1: they're close, when they're too close, I have to you know,
- 32:50Speaker 1: Megan and since Harry ten years, we're coming up. I
- 32:52Speaker 1: feel like they've been together for like seven Right when
- 32:55Speaker 1: did they get married?
- 32:55Speaker 2: Mark? Uh?
- 32:57Speaker 5: Let me? I have to investigate that.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Years though, if I'm going no, Megan Marko and Prince.
- 33:04Speaker 5: Harry, Oh, Meghan Marco.
- 33:08Speaker 4: That was twenty eighteen.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Yeah, so we're coming up on ten years.
- 33:13Speaker 5: You're the weirdest math.
- 33:17Speaker 4: A few years away from twenty years?
- 33:19Speaker 1: Close to EYI twenty twenty five is close to twenty
- 33:22Speaker 1: twenty eight.
- 33:23Speaker 5: In May they will hit seven years.
- 33:25Speaker 1: Okay, so in three years you think Meghan and Harry
- 33:27Speaker 1: are Donzo in three years? Huh?
- 33:32Speaker 2: So this is what we need to establish. Am I
- 33:34Speaker 2: saying ten years from now? Am I saying ten years total?
- 33:38Speaker 1: I thought it was ten years told.
- 33:39Speaker 5: Ten years from the prediction? Yeah?
- 33:42Speaker 3: I belive them another ten okay. Yeah, so that's where
- 33:47Speaker 3: I'm at right now.
- 33:47Speaker 1: Should we do a couple more while we're here?
- 33:50Speaker 3: Who's even who have I not added to the list?
- 33:53Speaker 1: Well, let's just do a little squirrelly scroll, hold on,
- 33:56Speaker 1: stand by.
- 33:59Speaker 3: Just get all but in Cash Warren.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Never would have thought.
- 34:05Speaker 5: We all remember where we were.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Yeah, we didn't even put them in the mix. I
- 34:10Speaker 1: just thought they were so solid. Sidney Sweeney and her
- 34:13Speaker 1: boyfriend Beyonce, right, Beyonce, Yes, correct.
- 34:18Speaker 5: It's hard to predict the demise of a engaged couple.
- 34:21Speaker 1: Oh really, So we're just going marriages all right?
- 34:24Speaker 5: Or just relationships.
- 34:26Speaker 1: Scarlett Johansson and Colin just.
- 34:30Speaker 3: I would give the I'm gonna say two to three years.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Yeah, Joey grass Day and Forever Kelsey and Forever Forever,
- 34:45Speaker 1: Natural romance forever. Okay, forever, she says, Wait, do you
- 34:50Speaker 1: want to hear her sauce and g flip Forever forever?
- 34:55Speaker 2: She said Abbot Elementary's Sheryl Lee Ralph. This is so
- 34:58Speaker 2: fascinating to me. She does don't live with her husband.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Yes, I found that fascinating as well. So they met,
- 35:06Speaker 1: they've been married for nineteen years. They've been married for
- 35:08Speaker 1: nineteen years. They see each other every two weeks. Wow,
- 35:12Speaker 1: and they make it worse. A conquers off like that,
- 35:16Speaker 1: She says. He has his own life. I have my
- 35:18Speaker 1: own life. He has his own real career. I have
- 35:20Speaker 1: my own real career. He has his light to stand on.
- 35:23Speaker 1: I have my light to stand in. They're not looking
- 35:26Speaker 1: for each other for validation. They have their own lives.
- 35:28Speaker 1: But then why be married? You just went through the
- 35:32Speaker 1: process of going through all my thoughts. So I mean, honestly,
- 35:37Speaker 1: my nightmare.
- 35:42Speaker 2: It's like the consistency of having a partner that's there,
- 35:45Speaker 2: I guess, like a source of comfort.
- 35:48Speaker 1: But you know, if it takes me, this makes me
- 35:49Speaker 1: rethink my advice to people if like they're dating and
- 35:53Speaker 1: they need to go long distance, like if it's Cheryl
- 35:56Speaker 1: and her husband's name.
- 36:03Speaker 5: Question.
- 36:03Speaker 1: Cheryl and Senator can make it work, Vincent Cheryl and
- 36:07Speaker 1: like Cheryl and Senator. Yeah, Cheryl and senator can make
- 36:10Speaker 1: it work for twenty years. You can make your long
- 36:12Speaker 1: distance relationship work for a couple of years. Well, that's
- 36:14Speaker 1: the thing.
- 36:14Speaker 2: When they met, he's a senator in Pennsylvania. Where's your Pennsylvania, Yeah,
- 36:19Speaker 2: Pennsylvania State Senator, Pennsylvania.
- 36:21Speaker 1: Okay, So and then she has her career.
- 36:23Speaker 2: She was on Broadway and she's an actress, and she's.
- 36:27Speaker 1: Like, I know, he wasn't going to give up what
- 36:28Speaker 1: he was doing, and I'm not going to give it
- 36:30Speaker 1: up what I was doing. No, you ain't.
- 36:32Speaker 3: And so that's what they do.
- 36:34Speaker 1: That's what they do. It's interesting.
- 36:36Speaker 5: I wouldn't like.
- 36:37Speaker 1: This, No, nor would I I want to either.
- 36:41Speaker 3: I do think are you good?
- 36:42Speaker 1: Yeah? Why were you doing that? Face? Doing a lot of.
- 36:46Speaker 2: Faces looked like something painful happened.
- 36:52Speaker 1: I'm running on a lot of adrenaline, I think. Okay,
- 36:56Speaker 1: not a lot of slummer.
- 36:56Speaker 5: And that manifests itself without faces sometimes.
- 36:58Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, okay, sure, okay, can.
- 37:00Speaker 5: We get to tide your story because I love it?
- 37:02Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 37:03Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, So now we're after the break time. Okay.
- 37:10Speaker 1: So uh this was before the So I'm doing my
- 37:13Speaker 1: community accountability activity. I haven't posted about it in a
- 37:17Speaker 1: while because it just.
- 37:18Speaker 5: Felt spride January.
- 37:20Speaker 1: It just felt not right to like post it. But
- 37:22Speaker 1: I've still been doing it. So I've still been moving
- 37:23Speaker 1: every single day. And the other day I got off
- 37:27Speaker 1: work before I thought that I was, and so I
- 37:31Speaker 1: saw or maybe it was the day we were supposed
- 37:32Speaker 1: to go on a walk and then you were like,
- 37:33Speaker 1: let's not walk this so windy whatever. Yeah, So I
- 37:36Speaker 1: was like, okay, I thought I was gonna work out
- 37:38Speaker 1: with you on my walk and then you bailed. And
- 37:40Speaker 1: so I found this plate's class. So I booked the class.
- 37:44Speaker 1: I can make the time over by my house. Okay.
- 37:46Speaker 1: So I'm like, I can make the time work great, perfect,
- 37:49Speaker 1: signed up you. I had my workout clothes already on.
- 37:52Speaker 1: I go. I'm a couple of minutes late. Classes at
- 37:55Speaker 1: one I got into like one O three or whatever.
- 37:57Speaker 3: Stressful.
- 37:58Speaker 1: Stressful, right, So like I'm all disheveled, I find my
- 38:01Speaker 1: little reformer. I'd put my purse down and take my
- 38:04Speaker 1: jacket off, my shoes off, and I start, you know,
- 38:06Speaker 1: doing trying to catch up on the class. Right, this woman,
- 38:10Speaker 1: the instructor, walks up to me and she goes, how
- 38:11Speaker 1: far along are you? And I was like, huh she
- 38:17Speaker 1: askeding that? Like I was like, I was so confused.
- 38:19Speaker 1: And I was wearing sweats, you know, my alow sweats
- 38:22Speaker 1: above like high waisted, so like there could have been
- 38:25Speaker 1: like something under there, you know. But I was like, how.
- 38:29Speaker 3: Oh, we don't do that.
- 38:30Speaker 1: We don't do that. So did she ask me again
- 38:32Speaker 1: how far along are you? And I was like, oh
- 38:34Speaker 1: my god. I was like shocked, like I didn't even say.
- 38:38Speaker 1: She asked me three times how far along are you?
- 38:41Speaker 5: What?
- 38:41Speaker 1: I was like, I'm not pregnant. Lady pulled down my sweatpants.
- 38:47Speaker 1: I was like, this is not like I thought like
- 38:49Speaker 1: I thought because she saw my sweats. Turns out I
- 38:53Speaker 1: booked a prenatal plates class, no idea. And then I
- 39:00Speaker 1: look around everybody around me and they are like about
- 39:03Speaker 1: to pop. They are like so pregnant. And she's like
- 39:08Speaker 1: this is good for your pelvic floor, knees up, kneas up.
- 39:12Speaker 1: And I was like, oh my gosh. And I was
- 39:14Speaker 1: like I'm so sorry. I did not know. I just
- 39:17Speaker 1: saw the time and I booked it. I did not
- 39:19Speaker 1: realize it was a prenatal class. She's like, no worries
- 39:22Speaker 1: at all, and I was like, I thought you thought
- 39:25Speaker 1: I was pregnant because of my lying thing and whatever.
- 39:27Speaker 1: We had a good laugh and she was really sweet,
- 39:30Speaker 1: like she kind of would come over because I guess
- 39:32Speaker 1: you're not allowed to do ab workouts when you're pregnant.
- 39:35Speaker 6: Who would have thought you have so much prenatal knowledge now,
- 39:39Speaker 6: So she would come over and when they were doing
- 39:42Speaker 6: stuff that they like, she would give me ab work
- 39:44Speaker 6: to do.
- 39:44Speaker 1: So she was kind of like, you know, being sweet
- 39:47Speaker 1: to me. But I was like I would sign up
- 39:49Speaker 1: for a classic time, yeah, you know. And then I
- 39:54Speaker 1: had to like explain myself because I felt bad that
- 39:56Speaker 1: I was like taking a spot of some other pregnant
- 40:00Speaker 1: woman that wanted to take the class. So I like
- 40:01Speaker 1: looked at the girl to the left of me, and
- 40:03Speaker 1: I was like, you're such a warrior, like you know,
- 40:06Speaker 1: so motivation talk because I was struggling. I was like,
- 40:10Speaker 1: and I'm not even pregnant and these women are like
- 40:12Speaker 1: so huge and they are like doing it. So I
- 40:15Speaker 1: was like, you're so badass, and she was like thanks.
- 40:21Speaker 3: Tanya that is from a sick call.
- 40:24Speaker 5: How is that her life was.
- 40:26Speaker 1: A sick coom.
- 40:27Speaker 6: I'm so grateful we get to exist in the same
- 40:29Speaker 6: universe as you, Like, this is the best.
- 40:32Speaker 1: My friends were like, why did you not leave the class?
- 40:34Speaker 4: And she was a whole class, signs up for next
- 40:37Speaker 4: week's too.
- 40:39Speaker 2: She's really liked the muscles bactivated like I'd love to
- 40:43Speaker 2: work out my public floor.
- 40:44Speaker 1: Like it was like I was down with the class.
- 40:46Speaker 1: But the best part is because I was leaving and
- 40:50Speaker 1: it was the guy who normally works the front desk
- 40:52Speaker 1: and then one of the women who works there, and
- 40:54Speaker 1: I was leaving and I was like, I just took
- 40:56Speaker 1: a prenatal class. And they when they check you in,
- 40:58Speaker 1: like they know, like I'm because there's a big room
- 41:00Speaker 1: in a small room and I was in a small room.
- 41:02Speaker 1: They knew And I was like, why don't you guys
- 41:05Speaker 1: tell me? And they were like, well, we don't you know.
- 41:07Speaker 1: They were like we thought it was weird that you
- 41:08Speaker 1: signed up for it. They're like, we don't know. Like
- 41:14Speaker 1: the you know, they know me, they know Tanya, they
- 41:16Speaker 1: know I'm always there, but like they don't really know
- 41:17Speaker 1: anything about you know, like I could be maybe you know,
- 41:20Speaker 1: like Arry.
- 41:20Speaker 3: Barry could be pregnant early days.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Yeah, I was like, well, I'm not for future reference
- 41:25Speaker 1: if I sign up for any more prenatal classes, like
- 41:28Speaker 1: please let me know. Oh my gosh. But honestly, now
- 41:36Speaker 1: I know they do it twice a week and when
- 41:38Speaker 1: the time comes, you'll be ready. I'll be ready, Dianaara something.
- 41:44Speaker 2: Yes, yes, it's just so like you can't make it up.
- 41:50Speaker 2: And I just feel so glad that the winds were
- 41:53Speaker 2: too strong for us to go on the walk, that
- 41:55Speaker 2: you experienced.
- 41:55Speaker 1: That everything for a reason, never wear sweatpants to work out,
- 41:58Speaker 1: do you know what I mean? Like it was very
- 42:01Speaker 1: like it looked like I could have had a little
- 42:02Speaker 1: like I had like maybe a little bump under there,
- 42:04Speaker 1: you know what I mean? Like I was laughing so hysterically,
- 42:08Speaker 1: and also like I wish I would have recorded the
- 42:10Speaker 1: video because the things that she was like, the moves
- 42:13Speaker 1: we were doing and to open the you know, open
- 42:16Speaker 1: the things and my own yeah yeah, I kind of
- 42:20Speaker 1: tighten mine up. I need the opposite of whatever they're doing.
- 42:25Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 42:27Speaker 3: Wow, that is good stuff.
- 42:29Speaker 1: Yeah, it was pretty It was pretty good. And then
- 42:32Speaker 1: I now I see this instructor all the time, Like,
- 42:34Speaker 1: I mean, I've only been twice since, but I saw
- 42:36Speaker 1: her both times and she was like, eh, I bet
- 42:42Speaker 1: you never had anybody else do that.
- 42:44Speaker 2: No, No, I'm sure it's happened before. I'm sure, but
- 42:47Speaker 2: I just love that it happened with you.
- 42:49Speaker 4: That's like the last thing I was expected.
- 42:50Speaker 6: Like when you said when she kept asking, I was like, Oh,
- 42:52Speaker 6: Tony had a book in front of her and she
- 42:54Speaker 6: was reading. How far into the book are you? I
- 42:55Speaker 6: thought it was gonna make that. Oh, that is the last
- 42:59Speaker 6: thing I was expecting. It so incredibly.
- 43:02Speaker 1: Can you guys make it a little more clear on
- 43:04Speaker 1: the app that was not clear.
- 43:06Speaker 2: There's not like to see it because that it's pretty clear,
- 43:11Speaker 2: pretty clear day on it.
- 43:14Speaker 1: I just look at the time and that's it. I
- 43:16Speaker 1: don't look at who's teaching it. When the digit here
- 43:19Speaker 1: it is Tuesday. Let's see at one, oh, prenatal. I
- 43:29Speaker 1: didn't look at the time. Oh it's pretty it's pretty large. No,
- 43:36Speaker 1: if you were going to look at a class, you
- 43:37Speaker 1: just say indoor, okay, okay, eleven am. No, I can
- 43:40Speaker 1: go eleven thirty. It's just the time. I'm looking at
- 43:43Speaker 1: the top. One it's just the time for me. I'll
- 43:45Speaker 1: take glutes, I'll take springboard. I don't care what the
- 43:47Speaker 1: class is. I just take the time that works.
- 43:49Speaker 2: Right. Thought you were going to say that you like
- 43:51Speaker 2: went on like a modern woman rant about how we
- 43:54Speaker 2: don't ask that question, and that's not.
- 43:57Speaker 1: I probably would have had I not seen the massively
- 44:02Speaker 1: pregnant women around me.
- 44:04Speaker 2: It was just the perfect storm that you went in late,
- 44:07Speaker 2: so you probably weren't even.
- 44:08Speaker 1: Observing who was around. Your head down trying to get
- 44:10Speaker 1: to your machine correct like I'm trying not to disturb doom.
- 44:15Speaker 1: It takes all your things off. Everyone's looking at me.
- 44:20Speaker 3: Oh my god, I needed that laugh. Made my jaws hurt.
- 44:27Speaker 3: Speaking of jaws, okay.
- 44:30Speaker 1: The other day, and I know you guys are all
- 44:33Speaker 1: gonna roll your eyes. And Sophia was like, your face
- 44:38Speaker 1: looks more chiseled lately, like have you done anything? No,
- 44:43Speaker 1: So I was thinking, what have I been doing? Nothing?
- 44:48Speaker 1: Really thinking what have I been doing nothing? What have
- 44:52Speaker 1: I been doing every day for the last six months?
- 44:57Speaker 3: Six months?
- 44:59Speaker 2: Yep, that's like one of the aside from like the
- 45:04Speaker 2: better sleep and everything.
- 45:06Speaker 1: And I'm not to say I have this like chiseled
- 45:09Speaker 1: face now. But I started to notice it too, like
- 45:12Speaker 1: I'm feeling more definition here. Interesting. And that's the only
- 45:16Speaker 1: thing that I've done, like literally consistently for the past
- 45:20Speaker 1: six months. Just take my mouth. Have I been doing nothing?
- 45:26Speaker 5: Doing nothing?
- 45:27Speaker 1: Nothing? Because I had this red light thing that I
- 45:29Speaker 1: was doing for a couple of nights that I was like,
- 45:31Speaker 1: doing this, So I did it for like four nights
- 45:33Speaker 1: and stop. You know, like I like, you have all
- 45:35Speaker 1: those things that you.
- 45:35Speaker 3: Do, but like the mouth, that mouth is consistent every.
- 45:38Speaker 1: Night, even when I'm drunk, even when I'm out of town.
- 45:42Speaker 1: She's there, chiseled, spelt spelt.
- 45:49Speaker 2: That's a good what's it called when you like a
- 45:52Speaker 2: good I got.
- 45:53Speaker 1: Bigger mouth tape now, you know, like when you're when
- 45:57Speaker 1: you're reviewing something a good review. Yeah, it's so funny.
- 46:02Speaker 1: A friend of mine was like, have you started your
- 46:04Speaker 1: wedding prep? You know, like getting the facials six months out,
- 46:06Speaker 1: the whatever four months out? And I was like, mouth
- 46:10Speaker 1: taping every night, that's all you need.
- 46:12Speaker 3: Maybe she's done the red light four nights in a row,
- 46:15Speaker 3: so he's just done pre natal pilates classes.
- 46:21Speaker 1: She's done it all, But more could I need to do?
- 46:25Speaker 3: Oh?
- 46:25Speaker 1: Well your facials for your Yeah, yeah, mama. Well that's
- 46:33Speaker 1: it for today. That's it.
- 46:35Speaker 2: We do have a Dear Bonnie episode. It's pre recorded
- 46:38Speaker 2: pre fires. Yes, so we were very.
- 46:43Speaker 4: But yeah, we're living in a different world.
- 46:47Speaker 1: Yeah, you know. But the decision to not air it,
- 46:51Speaker 1: I think is interesting because like the Megan Markle has
- 46:55Speaker 1: posted the Megan Markle, Megan Markle decided to postpone the
- 46:59Speaker 1: premiere of her show. But I was like, all I
- 47:02Speaker 1: wanted to do those five days was watch something else,
- 47:06Speaker 1: listen to something like I was going on, you know,
- 47:08Speaker 1: like I wanted.
- 47:09Speaker 3: I know stuff.
- 47:11Speaker 2: It's it's just preference, you know. Some people want to
- 47:15Speaker 2: just be locked into what's happening, some people want the escape.
- 47:18Speaker 1: I think it's just.
- 47:20Speaker 5: Been like, why aren't you talking about the fires like.
- 47:21Speaker 1: This is Yeah, it was pre recorded.
- 47:24Speaker 2: I think it felt kind of tone deaf because we
- 47:28Speaker 2: didn't we we didn't know about it because we did
- 47:30Speaker 2: it before the fires, so we didn't speak on it. Right,
- 47:34Speaker 2: So we do have an episode that's from pre fire
- 47:36Speaker 2: recording and we'll be back on Thursday with that.
- 47:40Speaker 1: But some excellent advice, so such good advice.
- 47:43Speaker 3: Yeah, excellent advice. So stay tuned for that.
- 47:47Speaker 2: We love you so much, We love y'all, and that's
- 47:51Speaker 2: all I have to say.
- 47:52Speaker 1: We love La so much, so much, all right, we
- 47:56Speaker 1: love you so much.
- 47:56Speaker 3: By
