- 0:35Speaker 5: couple times.
- 0:37Speaker 1: I'm a single father.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:40Speaker 5: Life be life and sometimes you got to do some
- 0:44Speaker 5: things you ain't want to do to do what you
- 0:47Speaker 5: got to do.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Come on. If that make any sense. That's true.
- 0:49Speaker 2: The band is whispering and telling us that that. Do
- 0:52Speaker 2: what you got to do.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Yes. That's Zach Book. Woo-woo! Woo-woo!
- 0:56Speaker 6: And they give Zach grace. I noticed that in the comments,
- 0:59Speaker 6: in the pod comments. They be like, well, you guys
- 1:01Speaker 6: know Zach had to go. And he be the one
- 1:04Speaker 6: cussing them out. Well, they put you and I on
- 1:07Speaker 6: pips every other time. They don't have no grace with
- 1:09Speaker 6: me and Tone.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Because they know I've got real responsibilities. Whatever. Y'all be playing. No,
- 1:14Speaker 1: I don't be playing. I got more kids than you.
- 1:16Speaker 1: That's true. But they be.
- 1:18Speaker 6: Like, Kiki going to the gym and Tone going to L.A.
- 1:22Speaker 6: That's really what it be.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:23Speaker 1: That's exactly what it is. Oh, man.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Pop fam, it's been an amazing couple weeks. Well, really
- 1:31Speaker 2: a week. But I had a crazy weekend. I'm going
- 1:34Speaker 2: to go ahead and jump to it. What happened? The
- 1:35Speaker 2: Chris Brown and Usher concert happened, and I surprised my
- 1:38Speaker 2: 26-year-old daughter saying, hey, your dad's going.
- 1:40Speaker 1: To take you there. Now, we've had, me and my daughter,
- 1:45Speaker 1: God bless her.
- 1:45Speaker 2: This is why she too much like me, which is
- 1:49Speaker 2: one is good and it's bad. So I can listen
- 1:52Speaker 2: to her tell stories because she tells animated stories. So
- 1:54Speaker 2: it's like I'm watching myself tell a story, so it's crazy.
- 2:00Speaker 2: She's the amazing storyteller. But so out of all of that, though,
- 2:06Speaker 2: we got into it several times. I'm sure y'all did.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Of course we did. Two Geminis, we got into it.
- 2:11Speaker 1: We're going to get on each other's nerves. She's a Gemini, too?
- 2:14Speaker 2: Yep.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Born two days before May 22nd, May 24th. Oh, they're
- 2:18Speaker 2: the same person.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Yeah, literally. And y'all look just alike, too. Yeah. Just alike. Yes.
- 2:23Speaker 2: So I got to see what I look like in
- 2:25Speaker 2: short shorts with ass cheeks hanging out.
- 2:30Speaker 1: I knew you was going to be stressed when I
- 2:32Speaker 1: saw it. Everybody knew it. So immediately. My outfit stressed you? Oh, nigga.
- 2:41Speaker 1: I knew he was going to be stressed out.
- 2:44Speaker 2: So I'm like, so this is crazy. So this story
- 2:49Speaker 2: gets wild. So just hang tight. Buckle up, fam.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Buckle up. All right.
- 2:54Speaker 2: So she says immediately, hey, dad, you're not going to
- 2:57Speaker 2: like my outfit. My mind is saying, why wouldn't you
- 3:01Speaker 2: want to like your outfit? I'm taking you to see
- 3:03Speaker 2: Chris Brown for free. I'm being a good dad. I
- 3:05Speaker 2: surprised you with good tickets. Shout out Live Nation.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Shout out Nor'John. And I'm like, so she comes downstairs.
- 3:15Speaker 1: I'm not going to lie to y'all. This is no exaggeration.
- 3:18Speaker 2: She comes downstairs in this little ass, them little ass
- 3:21Speaker 2: shorts and these little, what's this thing?
- 3:24Speaker 1: Whatever.
- 3:24Speaker 2: It's just like this. So the meat of the breasts
- 3:26Speaker 2: are out right here on the sides. And I immediately,
- 3:31Speaker 2: a tear rolls down my eye.
- 3:34Speaker 3: Oh.
- 3:34Speaker 1: I'm like. Oh, no.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Now, my Gemini jumps out of my body and says,
- 3:41Speaker 2: go crazy. I have to be like, we cannot go crazy.
- 3:44Speaker 2: We want her to have a good time. I'm not
- 3:47Speaker 2: going to ruin the night, but I'm pissed. So I'm pissed.
- 3:51Speaker 2: I got to get Snoop Dogg medicine inside of me
- 3:54Speaker 2: quick so I can dumb everything down.
- 3:56Speaker 1: But let me tell you, brother. Everybody I walk by.
- 4:00Speaker 2: People don't know, they see a young girl with me,
- 4:02Speaker 2: they like, oh. One girl when I go get a drink,
- 4:06Speaker 2: I see you like I'm young, girl.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Oh, now damn. That's my daughter.
- 4:14Speaker 2: And then everybody else, the fellas that I'm introducing them to,
- 4:18Speaker 2: they're like, hey. This is your daughter, hey. They look
- 4:22Speaker 2: at her dead in the face. They try not to
- 4:24Speaker 2: look at the outfit. They all looking at me like,
- 4:28Speaker 2: I know you're stressed.
- 4:30Speaker 1: I know you're stressed out. She having a good time.
- 4:34Speaker 5: You can always tell when your boy is giving you
- 4:36Speaker 5: the respectful ass.
- 4:37Speaker 1: They be like, hey, how you doing? Up here, yeah.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Everybody's stressed out. Everybody can see I'm stressed out. She
- 4:45Speaker 2: hits me with, I'm grown, I can wear what I want.
- 4:48Speaker 2: I was like, I said, I get it, you can
- 4:49Speaker 2: wear what you want, but at some point we got
- 4:52Speaker 2: to respect our daddy.
- 4:53Speaker 1: We do. You just got to. You got to. I said,
- 4:58Speaker 1: but go ahead.
- 4:59Speaker 2: And I know, in her mind, she's still trying to
- 5:01Speaker 2: figure stuff out.
- 5:03Speaker 1: And I ain't mad. It was a misstep, I think.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Dude, the craziest thing, the more women that I saw,
- 5:10Speaker 2: the more women that I saw that know me, all
- 5:13Speaker 2: of them was like, I'm.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Not going to let you do that. Her outfit wasn't
- 5:20Speaker 1: that bad. Because she's small. Yeah, that's true now. That's true.
- 5:28Speaker 1: If I would have tried to wear that outfit, they
- 5:32Speaker 1: would have called the police. She's small. And it didn't
- 5:36Speaker 1: look bad. It didn't look bad.
- 5:38Speaker 2: It was just the fact that a little bit of
- 5:41Speaker 2: her ass cheeks was hanging out. That's the part I
- 5:44Speaker 2: was like, I'm your daddy. I don't want people looking
- 5:49Speaker 2: at my baby's muffins. I changed those muffins. Then she
- 5:53Speaker 2: hits me with this.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Well, look. She's like, I like girls, so you ain't
- 5:57Speaker 1: got to worry about it. I was like, what you mean?
- 5:59Speaker 1: I still don't want them looking at you either. No.
- 6:03Speaker 2: So I was stressed out. Even you said, you said
- 6:06Speaker 2: you were standing next to her.
- 6:07Speaker 6: Yes, which I, baby, I was off the cup water.
- 6:09Speaker 6: So Auntie Kiki didn't even get to really engage. She
- 6:12Speaker 6: came next to me.
- 6:13Speaker 1: I said, hmm, because she tall. And I was like, tall?
- 6:17Speaker 1: Because she looked just like him.
- 6:20Speaker 6: And I turned back around because I wanted to take
- 6:22Speaker 6: a picture with her to tell you that I was
- 6:24Speaker 6: with her. And she was gone with her cup of water,
- 6:27Speaker 6: gone upstairs.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 6:29Speaker 1: You know.
- 6:31Speaker 2: One thing she did do, and I think that was
- 6:33Speaker 2: the best part of the whole thing, is that seeing
- 6:36Speaker 2: my daughter had that much fun.
- 6:38Speaker 1: She was having the time.
- 6:39Speaker 2: She was having fun. That lady know how to go
- 6:41Speaker 2: to a concert.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Come on now. She got it. You know who she like?
- 6:44Speaker 2: That's exactly who she is. She is like Zach at
- 6:47Speaker 2: a concert. They in there drinking, partying, singing songs.
- 6:51Speaker 6: Yeah, she was locked in.
- 6:52Speaker 1: She was locked in. She was locked in, so it
- 6:54Speaker 1: was a good time. But off of that, though, other
- 6:56Speaker 1: than that, it was a great show.
- 6:58Speaker 2: From my perspective, I was just numb to it because
- 7:00Speaker 2: my daughter had her ass hanging out.
- 7:02Speaker 6: So is that why she left you from where you
- 7:04Speaker 6: were and came by us, by me?
- 7:07Speaker 1: No, no, no, no.
- 7:07Speaker 2: She just, I had gave her my seats and I
- 7:10Speaker 2: was waiting on some other passes.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 7:12Speaker 2: So she just, but she was walking around. She was
- 7:15Speaker 2: having a good time. She was getting cut water. She
- 7:17Speaker 2: was getting shots.
- 7:18Speaker 1: She was getting... She had a good time. No, no.
- 7:20Speaker 1: She didn't stop drinking. And she's 26. Yeah. She's doing
- 7:24Speaker 1: what 26-year-olds do. Right, exactly. Yes. You realize... You.
- 7:27Speaker 6: Have your ass out at 26 and go drink you a.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Cup of water. That's what you're supposed to do. Not
- 7:31Speaker 1: with your daddy, though.
- 7:32Speaker 6: But if your daddy Tom Capone, he's going to get
- 7:34Speaker 6: you in a good spot.
- 7:34Speaker 1: But that's the thing. Your daddy Tom Capone.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Now, if we had went and seen Chris Brown and
- 7:39Speaker 2: Usher in Houston or somewhere else.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Cool. Chicago. Like, you know, y'all was there. Everybody, hey, Kiki.
- 7:49Speaker 1: I know that Wisconsin. Hey, Pop Fam. So people are looking.
- 7:52Speaker 2: At me what looks like I'm out here with a
- 7:56Speaker 2: young girl. And they looking at me like, Only the
- 8:01Speaker 2: people that knew me and knew that was my daughter,
- 8:03Speaker 2: they were like, oh, okay.
- 8:05Speaker 1: He went to wear one of them shirts and was like,
- 8:07Speaker 1: this is my daughter. At this point, I'm going to
- 8:09Speaker 1: have to.
- 8:10Speaker 2: Like, whenever we go out together, I'm like, yo, that's
- 8:12Speaker 2: my daughter, bro. If you see me with a light-skinned
- 8:15Speaker 2: lady that got my same face, that's my daughter.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Y'all literally got the same face, so yes. He's stressed out.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Yes.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Oh, that's so funny. But what'd you think about the
- 8:26Speaker 1: show though, Kiki? You know I enjoyed the show. I
- 8:28Speaker 1: thought it was amazing.
- 8:30Speaker 6: And I feel like Chicago turned the tour up, in
- 8:33Speaker 6: my opinion, because everybody else been going and we've been
- 8:36Speaker 6: seeing little review videos here and little people saying this
- 8:40Speaker 6: and that. But I feel like the world ain't understand
- 8:43Speaker 6: until we saw it.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Because it was.
- 8:46Speaker 6: It was amazing. Like, amazing from start to finish. Like,
- 8:51Speaker 6: you got to just get on their tens, especially Usher. Like,
- 8:55Speaker 6: nobody's touching Usher.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Nowhere, never, nowhere.
- 8:59Speaker 6: And it take a special person like Chris Brown to
- 9:02Speaker 6: stand on that stage next to Usher, in my opinion. Like,
- 9:05Speaker 6: he's up there with one of his goats. And to
- 9:07Speaker 6: see them just work together to put on that level
- 9:10Speaker 6: of a performance, it just made my heart smile. Like,
- 9:14Speaker 6: Usher been a fan since the 90s. And he's still popping.
- 9:17Speaker 6: And he's still moving.
- 9:18Speaker 1: And he look good.
- 9:19Speaker 6: He sound good. Chris Brown flying around like Spider-Man. Like,
- 9:23Speaker 6: it was just tense.
- 9:24Speaker 1: How did they do the set, though? Who went first?
- 9:26Speaker 1: How did they do it?
- 9:27Speaker 6: So they have a song together. So they open up
- 9:30Speaker 6: with the song that they have together. Chris Brown comes
- 9:32Speaker 6: out first because his verse is first. And then when
- 9:35Speaker 6: Usher's verse comes on, then Usher comes out and joins
- 9:37Speaker 6: him on stage. Then it goes into an Usher set.
- 9:41Speaker 6: Then they just switch back and forth throughout.
- 9:43Speaker 1: The whole thing.
- 9:43Speaker 2: And the openers are intermingled in between. So it's not
- 9:47Speaker 2: like a normal opener, like the openers all go in
- 9:49Speaker 2: the beginning. All right, all right, the openers, no. So
- 9:53Speaker 2: Eric Bellinger, Mario Tank.
- 9:55Speaker 1: So this is what made it. So they got little
- 9:57Speaker 1: mini sets within the set. Come on, man.
- 10:00Speaker 2: So while they changing, the openers, quote, unquote, the openers
- 10:04Speaker 2: or the fillers are major artists. It's Eric Bellinger, it's
- 10:07Speaker 2: Mario and Tank going in there. Tank had the most
- 10:10Speaker 2: R & B thing happening to him in the world.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Yep.
- 10:13Speaker 2: It starts pouring down rain the minute he comes out
- 10:16Speaker 2: on stage. That fool didn't blink. He got up there
- 10:19Speaker 2: and sang his ass off.
- 10:20Speaker 1: And he was shirtless, wasn't he?
- 10:22Speaker 2: Shirtless.
- 10:22Speaker 1: He walked out there like the Hulk. Of course.
- 10:25Speaker 6: Like, whatever peptide he taking, I need that. I need
- 10:28Speaker 6: that peptide.
- 10:29Speaker 1: I took a picture. I saw Tank. I said, Tank Juicy.
- 10:32Speaker 1: Come on, dog. Man. Tank huge. Huge.
- 10:36Speaker 2: I said it. Every dude was in there. He was like, hey, bro,
- 10:40Speaker 2: you ain't stop working out. Like, Tank 100%. has been
- 10:45Speaker 2: preparing for this tour. As soon as he found out
- 10:47Speaker 2: he was on it, he went and did whatever he
- 10:49Speaker 2: had to do to get.
- 10:50Speaker 1: In shape like that. And that's not like Tank being
- 10:52Speaker 1: in shape, though. He's been in shape, but he a
- 10:54Speaker 1: superhero now. He's a superhero. He's the Hulk. He is
- 10:57Speaker 1: the Hulk.
- 10:57Speaker 5: What happened was, you can tell, Tank had a regular
- 11:03Speaker 5: good muscular build.
- 11:05Speaker 1: They gave him the call, said, you going to do
- 11:06Speaker 1: the Chris Brown shit? He said, hit me with the shot.
- 11:09Speaker 1: I need to take it up. I got to take
- 11:11Speaker 1: it up. I got to take it up. I got
- 11:12Speaker 1: to take it up. I'm, of course, a legend. It's
- 11:14Speaker 1: a legend. We're joking, Tav. Don't sue us. Please don't.
- 11:17Speaker 1: I'm just playing. But he looks so good.
- 11:19Speaker 6: And even Mario, like, Mario got out there, performed in
- 11:21Speaker 6: a leather outfit in the rain.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Yes, he did too. You know what I'm saying?
- 11:25Speaker 6: Like, this show is such an appreciation for R & B.
- 11:30Speaker 6: It's like, you cannot go and not have a good
- 11:32Speaker 6: time and not appreciate the hits. Like, when I was
- 11:35Speaker 6: sitting there and just going through Usher's catalog, like, Y'all
- 11:39Speaker 6: don't have a you remind me. You know what I'm saying? Like,
- 11:42Speaker 6: you niggas never pulled up 7 o'clock on the dot.
- 11:44Speaker 6: Nobody got that.
- 11:45Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying?
- 11:46Speaker 6: Like, you niggas don't have a confession. You know what
- 11:49Speaker 6: I'm saying?
- 11:49Speaker 1: Like, y'all don't... They never pulled up 7 o'clock on
- 11:51Speaker 1: the dot. They never did. In a drop zone.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:55Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? Y'all don't have them portable lines.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Y'all ain't never cruising the streets. No.
- 12:00Speaker 6: Y'all ain't never went top 40 and came back and steal.
- 12:02Speaker 1: You know, like.
- 12:04Speaker 6: y'all not collabing with y'all with young with the young
- 12:07Speaker 6: dude and still on his level like I have a
- 12:11Speaker 6: new appreciation for Usher I already appreciate Chris Brown Chris
- 12:14Speaker 6: Brown is who Chris Brown is and it takes a
- 12:15Speaker 6: special person to perform with your goat you know what
- 12:19Speaker 6: I'm saying and the way that Usher just embrace the
- 12:22Speaker 6: way they embrace each other yeah it is special it's
- 12:25Speaker 6: special and I feel like everybody needs to go see
- 12:27Speaker 6: this tour.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Yeah I'm glad whatever issue they had before they worked
- 12:31Speaker 2: it out they had a little they had that one
- 12:32Speaker 2: little issue they worked it out This is a lot
- 12:34Speaker 2: of money. And then thinking about the money part of it,
- 12:37Speaker 2: did you see that they allowing Chris Brown to use
- 12:39Speaker 2: his tour proceeds to pay off the judgment?
- 12:42Speaker 6: Oh, I don't know if they're allowing him to do it. Damn,
- 12:45Speaker 6: they're garnishing his checks is what it sounded like.
- 12:47Speaker 2: It sounded like they— I don't.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Want nobody to be allowed to take my money.
- 12:52Speaker 5: No, see, he wanted it— he was trying to stop him
- 12:54Speaker 5: from being able to take the tour money. And the
- 12:57Speaker 5: judge said, yeah, we're going to allow them to take
- 12:59Speaker 5: the money. They better take that, Chris.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Yeah. You let him take. That's like somebody tell you,
- 13:04Speaker 1: take the plea. No, you take the plea. You take
- 13:07Speaker 1: the plea. Somebody just paid him, Chris. What? $ 15 million.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Million dollars.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Bro, but just think of it. I know it's going
- 13:17Speaker 2: to sound crazy. And no, I wouldn't want nobody to
- 13:19Speaker 2: take the money. But if I'm Chris Brown, I'm Chris Brown.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Take the money because I'm Chris Brown. Because I'm going
- 13:27Speaker 2: to be able to do this again and make it back.
- 13:29Speaker 2: That dude, nobody wants to get a money up. He
- 13:32Speaker 2: got to get a bread up.
- 13:33Speaker 1: He got to. That's no choice.
- 13:35Speaker 2: But I'm trying to get that monkey off me so
- 13:39Speaker 2: I can go ahead.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Because you're not. You're Chris Brown. I get that. But
- 13:42Speaker 1: what Chris was trying to do, stretch this thing out. Yes.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Let's get this play out. Yeah, I got to give
- 13:46Speaker 1: you the money, but let's stretch this thing out. Let's
- 13:48Speaker 1: make a payment plan. Let's do this payment plan.
- 13:50Speaker 4: Let me hit you two million every year. Yeah, let
- 13:52Speaker 4: me hit you with a million for 13 years. Yes.
- 13:54Speaker 1: To you whole. That's what he trying to do. You
- 13:57Speaker 1: trying to take it off this one, two, and my
- 13:59Speaker 1: whole check? That's different.
- 14:01Speaker 6: Chris going to start coming out there not even performing.
- 14:04Speaker 1: I just said that. Hey, y'all, I just want to
- 14:08Speaker 1: let y'all know this is one of them shows. Right. Y'all,
- 14:12Speaker 1: I'm not going to fly around for this lady my money.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Hell no. This for her.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:17Speaker 1: So it's just... The flying around is cold. In the rain, bro.
- 14:22Speaker 2: I ain't going to lie. The flying around, even... It's
- 14:25Speaker 2: like my third time seeing the fly around. I enjoy
- 14:28Speaker 2: the fly around.
- 14:28Speaker 1: The fly around is cold. It's cold. It's so scary.
- 14:31Speaker 1: It's cold.
- 14:31Speaker 2: It's like a superhero. Y'all got to put him in Marvel.
- 14:35Speaker 2: They not going to do it, but they got to.
- 14:39Speaker 6: I said that in my recap. Y'all, he is a
- 14:42Speaker 6: Marvel star. He has everything that it takes as far
- 14:45Speaker 6: as Marvel is concerned. He looks like a Marvel character.
- 14:48Speaker 6: He fly around like a Marvel character. When he was
- 14:51Speaker 6: in Soldier Fear, that man had on a Spider-Man jacket.
- 14:53Speaker 6: flying around in the rain.
- 14:55Speaker 1: That Pelly was tough, too. Tough.
- 14:57Speaker 6: And Chris Brown, like, y'all not dancing in Timbaland boots. Like,
- 15:02Speaker 6: you know what I'm saying? Like, y'all not.
- 15:04Speaker 1: You still do.
- 15:05Speaker 6: Yeah, like, y'all not hitting two steps in Timbaland in
- 15:08Speaker 6: leather clothes. Like, nobody's doing that but Usher and Chris Brown.
- 15:11Speaker 6: Usher had on a three-piece glitter suit. Nobody's doing that.
- 15:15Speaker 1: That was crazy. Bro. That was crazy. It is. It's
- 15:19Speaker 1: a really well-done concert.
- 15:21Speaker 2: And again, it shows you what getting beyond all of.
- 15:24Speaker 1: The craziness can do for you.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Monetary, you can get your fans to show, you can
- 15:29Speaker 2: do something for the culture that's going to be impactful.
- 15:33Speaker 1: I still going to tell.
- 15:34Speaker 2: You, I'm going to believe this, that I think when
- 15:37Speaker 2: they saw Brandy and Monica do it, I think that
- 15:40Speaker 2: they were like, hmm, that ain't bad. I think the
- 15:44Speaker 2: guys were like, this is going to be a good thing.
- 15:47Speaker 2: It shows the power of collaboration.
- 15:49Speaker 6: Yeah, iron sharpens iron. And I just think, you know,
- 15:52Speaker 6: it's special when you can put your ego aside and
- 15:55Speaker 6: share the stage with each other and perform on that
- 15:58Speaker 6: type of level. I feel like they both elevated each
- 16:01Speaker 6: other's because we just seen them. I just saw Usher
- 16:03Speaker 6: last year and I just saw Chris Brown last year.
- 16:05Speaker 6: Both were great, but this together was magic.
- 16:09Speaker 2: Yeah, and I do want to say this to the
- 16:11Speaker 2: ladies of Chicago. This proves my point. This concert proves
- 16:17Speaker 2: my point. 61,000 people estimated showed up at Soldier Field
- 16:22Speaker 2: on one day.
- 16:23Speaker 1: So what is it?
- 16:24Speaker 2: It was over 120,000 people. I would say 70, 80%
- 16:29Speaker 2: of them were.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Women, single women.
- 16:33Speaker 2: I ain't never seen that many pretty women in Chicago
- 16:35Speaker 2: in my life.
- 16:36Speaker 1: You hear me?
- 16:38Speaker 2: Not in one place ever. And it proves my point
- 16:41Speaker 2: that pretty women in Chicago, y'all.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Don't come outside. Y'all don't come outside.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Why?
- 16:46Speaker 1: Why? Why don't y'all come outside?
- 16:48Speaker 6: Because we at work.
- 16:49Speaker 1: No.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Yes.
- 16:50Speaker 6: Every pretty woman that was in there got a job.
- 16:52Speaker 6: Them tickets was not cheap. Going to Soldier Field, that's
- 16:55Speaker 6: $ 60 parking. You got to have outfit, hair, nails. Everybody
- 16:58Speaker 6: that was in there and that was fine got money
- 17:00Speaker 6: and good jobs. We not coming to your average spot.
- 17:03Speaker 6: We come out when it matters. Shout out to all
- 17:06Speaker 6: the women that was.
- 17:06Speaker 1: In the building. Okay. You told me. You sure did.
- 17:10Speaker 1: I ain't going to lie. I was like it.
- 17:12Speaker 2: At one point, you're like, I was completely overstimulated. So
- 17:17Speaker 2: in between looking crazy because of my daughter and then
- 17:20Speaker 2: seeing all of the pretty women, I was like, I
- 17:22Speaker 2: don't know what to.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Do with myself in here. Let's go ahead and get
- 17:25Speaker 1: to this, man. Gary, Indiana. Yeah.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Gary, 10 days without power. Zach has been out there
- 17:34Speaker 2: doing some stuff. We saw some posts from you, Zach.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Talk to us.
- 17:37Speaker 6: You get my $ 40 for the chicken?
- 17:39Speaker 1: Yes, I did. I put your $ 40 on the chicken.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Y'all did.
- 17:42Speaker 6: You know, black people, when they donate something, they want
- 17:44Speaker 6: to let everybody know.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Thank you, Kiki. No, I look bad. Thank you. Thank you, Kiki.
- 17:50Speaker 1: I appreciate it. Thank you. And shout out to the
- 17:52Speaker 1: Pie fam.
- 17:53Speaker 6: Pie fam member, Lady T, rolled up on me at
- 17:56Speaker 6: an event and gave, handed me $ 40 to give Zach
- 17:59Speaker 6: for the mission that he was doing. So, shout out
- 18:02Speaker 6: to the Pie fam.
- 18:03Speaker 1: It wasn't a mission, y'all.
- 18:04Speaker 5: Y'all's not going to make it sound bigger than it was.
- 18:07Speaker 1: It was a little mission.
- 18:08Speaker 5: It was just a little whatever I could do. I
- 18:10Speaker 5: just felt like Um, my dad is 80, you know
- 18:13Speaker 5: what I'm saying? My mom, my dad can't really be 81.
- 18:15Speaker 5: My mom is 80, you know what I'm saying? So
- 18:17Speaker 5: when I thought about the seniors being out without power
- 18:20Speaker 5: for that long, it really, it was, it had me
- 18:22Speaker 5: messed up for a couple of days. Like just seeing it,
- 18:24Speaker 5: I was like, man, this ain't right. Cause I know
- 18:26Speaker 5: what they, they don't have access to a lot of things.
- 18:28Speaker 5: There was a lot of stuff going on in Gary.
- 18:30Speaker 5: Shout out to everybody who could walk and get to
- 18:32Speaker 5: those places or drive to those places, but everybody can't,
- 18:36Speaker 5: you know what I'm saying?
- 18:36Speaker 1: So I was just like, man, who, who needs something?
- 18:39Speaker 1: So I put it on Facebook.
- 18:41Speaker 5: Um, This lady reached out and said the senior home
- 18:43Speaker 5: in Serenity Lake Senior Home needed some help.
- 18:46Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying?
- 18:47Speaker 5: So I was like, all right, what can I do?
- 18:48Speaker 5: So I just grabbed, you know, called a few people
- 18:51Speaker 5: I know, grabbed a few things.
- 18:52Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying?
- 18:53Speaker 5: Just went to Walmart, bought stuff, took it up there.
- 18:56Speaker 5: Then the next, she was like, well, we ain't got
- 18:57Speaker 5: no food. You know, at first I bought supplies. But
- 19:00Speaker 5: then she was like, we don't have food. Everybody's, all
- 19:02Speaker 5: the seniors' food's full. And they don't get checked to
- 19:05Speaker 5: the first.
- 19:06Speaker 1: And she was like. even if our power do get on,
- 19:08Speaker 1: they don't get paid to the first.
- 19:09Speaker 6: And they ain't have nowhere to put the food if
- 19:11Speaker 6: they could purchase it.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Right.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Can't refrigerate anything with no power. So I was like, damn.
- 19:14Speaker 1: And then she was like, well, can you get some Spam?
- 19:16Speaker 1: And I was like, I'm not buying Spam. I hope
- 19:19Speaker 1: people will test some Spam up, though. She ain't wrong.
- 19:21Speaker 1: She was saying just like, pot of meat. My daddy
- 19:23Speaker 1: used to test some Spam up. I can't buy Spam.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Vienna sausage and some crackers? Oh, they ain't going to
- 19:30Speaker 1: get out.
- 19:30Speaker 5: She's like non-perishable food, so I was thinking of like
- 19:32Speaker 5: non-perishable stuff and things like that, but ended up going KFC.
- 19:37Speaker 1: And buying like 200 dinners.
- 19:38Speaker 5: So we spent like 200, got 200 dinners, you know,
- 19:41Speaker 5: gave it to the veterans and went to the veterans place.
- 19:44Speaker 5: They had about 75 units there and then it was
- 19:46Speaker 5: 100 units at the old folks home.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Well, the senior home delivered that. And that's it. You
- 19:52Speaker 1: know what I'm saying? Just trying to do what we.
- 19:53Speaker 5: Can to help Gary, man. That break my heart seeing
- 19:57Speaker 5: them in there. And then all y'all when I went
- 19:59Speaker 5: in there. So I go in the little senior home
- 20:02Speaker 5: and they literally got like one of them construction lights.
- 20:04Speaker 5: You know, those two construction lights that be on the highway.
- 20:06Speaker 5: Sometimes they had one of them hooked to a generator.
- 20:10Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying?
- 20:10Speaker 5: That was the only light, you know what I'm saying,
- 20:13Speaker 5: coming in. Like the emergency light. Yeah, it was like
- 20:15Speaker 5: the emergency light. And they had that to a generator.
- 20:17Speaker 5: And they just in this little room. Most of them
- 20:18Speaker 5: are in there. And it's a lot of people who
- 20:20Speaker 5: can't go downstairs. Like, they are bed-stricken seniors. So I
- 20:24Speaker 5: was just like, that really tore my heart up.
- 20:26Speaker 1: I was like, man, come on. Whatever we can do
- 20:27Speaker 1: to help these people, man, let's do it.
- 20:29Speaker 6: And what people don't realize is when you're in those
- 20:31Speaker 6: senior places, a lot of times their family has abandoned them.
- 20:34Speaker 6: So it's nobody checking on them. It's nobody coming up
- 20:37Speaker 6: there to see them. It's nobody making sure they straight.
- 20:39Speaker 6: It's only the employees, and you know how you do
- 20:41Speaker 6: your job every day, especially when you don't feel like
- 20:43Speaker 6: it or when you ain't got no power. You do
- 20:45Speaker 6: your job for the best they pay you. So, you know,
- 20:48Speaker 6: it's not always the best condition. So, you know, I
- 20:51Speaker 6: know you don't want to make it a big thing,
- 20:52Speaker 6: but what you did was commendable, and thank you for
- 20:55Speaker 6: doing that because a lot of them people don't have family.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Yeah, that was dope. That was dope. Shout out to
- 20:59Speaker 1: them and shame on the people. Shame on some businesses.
- 21:04Speaker 2: I'm not going to name any, but shame on some
- 21:06Speaker 2: businesses that make their.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Money in Gary, Indiana. But didn't help. And didn't help.
- 21:11Speaker 1: I hear about no help from some of them in business.
- 21:14Speaker 2: I'm not going to say none of them, but we
- 21:15Speaker 2: all know there's some big-time businesses that are around Gary,
- 21:19Speaker 2: Indiana that could have really came in and just kind of.
- 21:25Speaker 5: You know the saddest thing? The night it happened, I
- 21:27Speaker 5: went and got my dad out, right? So I go
- 21:29Speaker 5: to get him. The city's pitch black, right? So we
- 21:33Speaker 5: grabbed as many things as we can because the sun
- 21:35Speaker 5: was going down.
- 21:36Speaker 1: We driving. Everything's pitch black.
- 21:38Speaker 5: And you know when you're on 94, I look to
- 21:40Speaker 5: my left, casino lit up.
- 21:43Speaker 1: You lying. Hard rock ain't Mr. Beat.
- 21:47Speaker 5: The casino was lit up. And the whole city was dark.
- 21:52Speaker 5: I was like, this is craziness to me. And the
- 21:55Speaker 5: fact that y'all are not opening y'all doors and saying, hey,
- 22:00Speaker 5: y'all can stay inside. Here, if you don't have power,
- 22:02Speaker 5: you can stay in our hotels for free until the
- 22:04Speaker 5: power gets back on.
- 22:06Speaker 1: I was just like, they.
- 22:07Speaker 5: Donated $ 100, 000, but that's a casino. I know Darius Garland
- 22:09Speaker 5: donated $ 100, 000. Glenn Robinson donated $ 100, 000.
- 22:11Speaker 1: These are people.
- 22:11Speaker 5: So how did a casino doing the same as what
- 22:13Speaker 5: a person did? You know, that just... That's all I
- 22:27Speaker 5: was saying.
- 22:28Speaker 1: That's crazy to me.
- 22:28Speaker 2: I wasn't going to name the name of the business,
- 22:29Speaker 2: but I was like, I was waiting to hear such
- 22:32Speaker 2: and such is coming in with blah, blah, blah. And
- 22:35Speaker 2: they're going to provide generators and they're going to provide this.
- 22:38Speaker 1: This is a community.
- 22:39Speaker 2: That is your neighboring community that helps fund your business.
- 22:46Speaker 1: That's crazy. So it was interesting. You spoke to the mayor, right?
- 22:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:50Speaker 1: What's the status now of Gary? It's still about 20,000
- 22:53Speaker 1: people without... I think he said about 2,000 people left
- 22:58Speaker 1: without power. So it is getting better.
- 23:01Speaker 5: It may not be completely done by that date, but
- 23:03Speaker 5: it is getting better.
- 23:04Speaker 1: But they had to redo the whole grid.
- 23:07Speaker 5: He said that Nipsco allegedly hadn't done what they needed
- 23:11Speaker 5: to do as far as keeping the grids and circuits
- 23:15Speaker 5: up with Gary. So it wasn't just about connecting power
- 23:17Speaker 5: lines anymore. It was about redoing everything. And that's why
- 23:20Speaker 5: it took so long.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Allegedly. Allegedly.
- 23:24Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 23:24Speaker 5: And the governor has opened up an investigation on Nipsco.
- 23:27Speaker 1: OK.
- 23:29Speaker 5: Of Indiana, because now it's an emergency. And he finally
- 23:33Speaker 5: they put enough pressure where Trump contacted him. So, you know,
- 23:37Speaker 5: one get no national news. It wasn't getting none of that.
- 23:40Speaker 5: You know, he ain't saying FEMA and then you say
- 23:42Speaker 5: ice everywhere.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Right.
- 23:43Speaker 3: Right.
- 23:44Speaker 5: When people really need help, when people really are scared
- 23:46Speaker 5: in their homes. because it's dark and then people, you
- 23:48Speaker 5: know how people get when they need.
- 23:49Speaker 1: Something, when they ain't got nothing. They gonna walk in
- 23:51Speaker 1: there and take it.
- 23:51Speaker 5: When you probably need the guards, when you need the
- 23:54Speaker 5: federal help, it's nowhere to be found.
- 23:56Speaker 1: But you want to snatch up innocent people trying to
- 23:59Speaker 1: make a living. It makes sense.
- 24:02Speaker 2: A lot of things got brought to light. A lot
- 24:04Speaker 2: of those topics that you brought up. All right, let's go.
- 24:07Speaker 2: Keep it moving, Pop Fam. Shariah and Joey Badass announced
- 24:13Speaker 2: their split after a three-year relationship and engagement. Shariah says
- 24:16Speaker 2: people do not know what she went through in private
- 24:21Speaker 2: and being cheated on. There was a lot. I know
- 24:27Speaker 2: people are not going to like my take on it,
- 24:29Speaker 2: but hey, we'll take a listen.
- 24:32Speaker 3: I've never been the type to come online, but this
- 24:35Speaker 3: person needs to be shown for exactly who he is.
- 24:38Speaker 1: And I am so frustrated. upset.
- 24:41Speaker 3: And I don't know if one day I'll regret this,
- 24:43Speaker 3: but right now I don't regret it because this person
- 24:45Speaker 3: has been a literal piece of shit to me in
- 24:48Speaker 3: private and not even in private because a lot of
- 24:51Speaker 3: people publicly know, family knows and everything. But this person
- 24:56Speaker 3: proposes to me, wants to build a life with me,
- 24:58Speaker 3: has me move my life out here.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Cheats on me.
- 25:01Speaker 3: I find out continuously just telling me that he doesn't
- 25:03Speaker 3: want that life.
- 25:04Speaker 1: He wants me, dah, dah, dah, then proceeds to be
- 25:07Speaker 1: out with people. And yes, I have my receipts. I
- 25:10Speaker 1: have my receipts.
- 25:11Speaker 3: But you guys will know who the f * *
- 25:12Speaker 3: * this is. And I don't want this to be
- 25:15Speaker 3: a confusion any longer. There's no podcast he can get on.
- 25:18Speaker 3: Sweet talk in the world.
- 25:19Speaker 1: It's over with. She's hot. She's hot.
- 25:25Speaker 2: For the ladies on the pod before I get my
- 25:28Speaker 2: toxic take on this.
- 25:30Speaker 6: What toxic take? I want to hear your toxic take.
- 25:33Speaker 2: I mean, I feel bad for her. I feel bad
- 25:36Speaker 2: for her. You know, I wonder if I'll sold it.
- 25:40Speaker 2: I wonder if If Jacob Lattimore is someone looking like, hmm.
- 25:45Speaker 6: I tried to tell you. Give me another chance.
- 25:47Speaker 1: I tried to tell you. Give me another chance. I
- 25:48Speaker 1: wrote a whole song before you went off. You did.
- 25:51Speaker 1: I did that. You did.
- 25:52Speaker 2: But then I just like, again, sir, I get it.
- 25:56Speaker 2: You dated a rapper. And no shade to Joey Badass
- 25:59Speaker 2: at all. But he's a rapper.
- 26:01Speaker 1: He's a rapper.
- 26:02Speaker 2: And men, when we are in our lit phase of
- 26:05Speaker 2: our life, you got to give us time.
- 26:09Speaker 1: Don't mess with us at that time.
- 26:11Speaker 2: She left Jacob Lattimore, who was lit, just getting really lit,
- 26:16Speaker 2: got a hit show. Now you got Joey Badass, lit,
- 26:21Speaker 2: and this is what happens. Unfortunately, go date Clarence. What?
- 26:26Speaker 1: Who's Clarence? Clarence, get in this. There's a Clarence watching
- 26:29Speaker 1: the pod right now. All right, I got to do this.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Go Clarence. You see what I think? You need to follow,
- 26:34Speaker 1: go follow the Eve playbook.
- 26:37Speaker 2: Eve dated a couple people, and they did her dirty,
- 26:41Speaker 2: and she went and married a banker, and ain't nobody,
- 26:44Speaker 2: and we ain't heard nothing from Eve ever again. You
- 26:47Speaker 2: ain't heard Eve even talking about nothing?
- 26:49Speaker 1: I thought Eve Mann was rich. Man. He like something.
- 26:52Speaker 1: He's a billionaire. He ain't no banker.
- 26:54Speaker 6: He's behind the Gumball 3000 race or something.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Okay, well, yeah, I made that up, the banker. Yeah,
- 27:00Speaker 1: I said a banker. No, she wouldn't got up.
- 27:02Speaker 2: Anyway, she married somebody that was not an entertainer. It
- 27:06Speaker 2: was not an entertainer. Yeah, he rich, but he wasn't
- 27:08Speaker 2: an entertainer.
- 27:09Speaker 1: It's not hard.
- 27:10Speaker 6: It's not easy to come by those, though, Tony. You
- 27:12Speaker 6: just acting like billionaires just out here.
- 27:14Speaker 1: No, well, it's some classes.
- 27:17Speaker 2: You gonna go date Joey Badass and be like, hey,
- 27:22Speaker 2: he cheated on me.
- 27:23Speaker 1: It sound like something Joey Badass would do. It do.
- 27:26Speaker 1: I ain't gonna lie. It do, girl.
- 27:28Speaker 6: People get cheated on every day. You know, I hate
- 27:31Speaker 6: that this happened. I hate it's an unfortunate situation. But
- 27:35Speaker 6: I am, you know, I think we do need to
- 27:36Speaker 6: start calling out the cheetahs. So y'all get mad about
- 27:41Speaker 6: her getting on line and saying whatever she had to say,
- 27:43Speaker 6: but let's call it out.
- 27:45Speaker 1: What about guys? Why do women do this and why
- 27:49Speaker 1: guys got to eat it? What? Because women do some,
- 27:52Speaker 1: there's some awful women out there. Yes, put them on blast.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Y'all missing it, man.
- 27:59Speaker 2: What?
- 27:59Speaker 5: You got to understand, did you hear what she said?
- 28:02Speaker 5: She told us, okay? I ain't no this is for
- 28:07Speaker 5: me and Ann there are very few women who leave
- 28:10Speaker 5: on the first cheat okay it's very few I'm just
- 28:14Speaker 5: telling the truth it's very few women who leave on
- 28:16Speaker 5: the first caught up especially when they engaged and they
- 28:19Speaker 5: got skin in the game she had skin in the
- 28:21Speaker 5: game she was engaged and had a baby the issue
- 28:24Speaker 5: was the constant disrespect and fellas gotta do better you
- 28:27Speaker 5: got to know when you got something so like good
- 28:31Speaker 5: enough that after the first cheat what did she say
- 28:34Speaker 5: In the thing, she was like, we, you know, I
- 28:37Speaker 5: found out and he continued. Basically said he continued after
- 28:41Speaker 5: the get back. Women usually do not leave first cheat.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Some do.
- 28:45Speaker 5: That's a smaller percentage. But usually women will be like,
- 28:49Speaker 5: all right, cool.
- 28:51Speaker 3: Boom.
- 28:51Speaker 1: I'm going to take that L. But we can we
- 28:54Speaker 1: can we can work it out.
- 28:55Speaker 2: Right.
- 28:56Speaker 5: But if you keep going, now they feel tried and disrespected.
- 29:00Speaker 5: And that's how you end up on being blasted. And
- 29:03Speaker 5: now this is going to hurt your career. This is
- 29:04Speaker 5: going to hurt a lot.
- 29:05Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying?
- 29:06Speaker 5: Because now you lost your female fan base. Joey Badass
- 29:09Speaker 5: was loved by the ladies.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Not no more. Well, they still going to be right.
- 29:16Speaker 6: You saw he was on the phone with a chick already.
- 29:19Speaker 1: No, I'm not saying he going to. His motion never
- 29:21Speaker 1: going to stop. Yeah.
- 29:23Speaker 5: But I'm saying his public persona of being liked. Offset
- 29:30Speaker 5: never stopped getting women, but public perception changed that.
- 29:34Speaker 1: So what I'm saying is, when you get caught the
- 29:37Speaker 1: first time, stop. Why can't y'all stop the first after
- 29:44Speaker 1: the first? I get it, the temptation and all that.
- 29:47Speaker 1: But that first one should be the hit in the face.
- 29:49Speaker 1: What did Jay-Z do? What did Jay-Z do?
- 29:52Speaker 5: Changed the address and changed his life. When he got
- 29:54Speaker 5: hit in the face, when it hit him in the face,
- 29:56Speaker 5: he said.
- 29:58Speaker 5: Probably shouldn't do this again because I'm going to lose
- 30:01Speaker 5: the queen.
- 30:01Speaker 6: That man didn't go back to New York until this concert.
- 30:04Speaker 1: He just came back. Just came back. He moved to
- 30:07Speaker 1: New York City. Jay-Z took that Yankee off so fast.
- 30:09Speaker 1: He got caught up. News get caught up and stopped.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Y'all always do this. Y'all, why do y'all take stuff
- 30:15Speaker 1: to the top of the top? Why do y'all? Why?
- 30:19Speaker 1: I don't understand.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Y'all just trying to make like, yeah, you know, Jesus.
- 30:22Speaker 2: Y'all take it to the ultimate height.
- 30:24Speaker 1: We do. Y'all take it to the height.
- 30:28Speaker 2: Beyonce? Jay-Z was playing with Beyonce. That's all I'm going
- 30:34Speaker 2: to say.
- 30:35Speaker 1: I get what you're putting down, but I can't say it.
- 30:37Speaker 1: I ain't going to say it either. I get what
- 30:40Speaker 1: you're saying, but that's Jay-Z, though. Exactly. So what I'm
- 30:44Speaker 1: trying to say is, They're parallel, okay? They parallel. Parallel where?
- 30:50Speaker 2: Beyonce's bigger, but what I'm trying to say is he's
- 30:53Speaker 2: one of the GOATs.
- 30:54Speaker 1: He's like the GOAT of rap, right? He is, dog.
- 30:56Speaker 1: She's the GOAT of what she does, right? Okay, then.
- 30:59Speaker 1: So what I'm trying to say is this is a lower...
- 31:01Speaker 1: You playing on whatever scale you on.
- 31:03Speaker 6: I think what he just said, Zach, is that Joey
- 31:05Speaker 6: Badass cheating on Soraya ain't moving a needle or table
- 31:10Speaker 6: like Cardi getting cheated on. No disrespect to Soraya. But
- 31:15Speaker 6: it's almost like if my man cheat on me.
- 31:17Speaker 1: But who is Joey Badass? That's what we all saying.
- 31:20Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying.
- 31:21Speaker 6: Y'all make it seem like Joey Badass, Jay-Z.
- 31:24Speaker 1: No, no, no.
- 31:25Speaker 6: We make it seem like these just two people that
- 31:28Speaker 6: didn't work out and we don't really give a damn.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Like, we're not emotionally connected to neither one. So ain't nobody.
- 31:34Speaker 6: everybody can go to sleep tonight and go right to
- 31:36Speaker 6: work tomorrow. You know what I'm saying? Joey ain't got
- 31:38Speaker 6: to put out no statement because we don't care. We're
- 31:40Speaker 6: not that tired. We're not that tired into what either
- 31:43Speaker 6: one of them got going on to really give a damn.
- 31:45Speaker 1: I see what you're saying. So y'all saying it's just
- 31:48Speaker 1: like somebody get cheated on. Somebody get cheated on.
- 31:51Speaker 2: It's like, I'm not saying, it's people that are emotionally,
- 31:56Speaker 2: and it's again, Soraya, like she said, she is, we're
- 31:59Speaker 2: not downgrading what your feelings are.
- 32:02Speaker 1: But there are people that are emotional.
- 32:04Speaker 2: There are millions and millions of people that are emotionally
- 32:08Speaker 2: tied to what Beyonce does.
- 32:11Speaker 1: Everything she does.
- 32:12Speaker 2: And if you cheat on Beyonce, it's going to make
- 32:16Speaker 2: world news. That's like when they got into it, that
- 32:19Speaker 2: thing was everywhere. It's just, it's a different, it's different scales.
- 32:24Speaker 2: But again, I just think women gotta, at the end
- 32:26Speaker 2: of the day, you just gotta, you gotta pick better.
- 32:29Speaker 2: Fellas gotta make better decisions. And you shouldn't really be
- 32:32Speaker 2: getting in a relationship when you're in your hot phase.
- 32:36Speaker 1: But it's hard. I get it. You're in your hot phase.
- 32:40Speaker 2: Joey Badass knew, and Zach, you know this, and you
- 32:42Speaker 2: don't have to admit to this about anybody you know,
- 32:45Speaker 2: but I'm going to tell you, there's dudes that are
- 32:48Speaker 2: going to get in a relationship and they know goddamn
- 32:51Speaker 2: well that they're.
- 32:51Speaker 1: Going to cheat. They know it.
- 32:53Speaker 2: They just want that girl. They don't want nobody to
- 32:58Speaker 2: ever have her again. What did I tell you? I
- 33:01Speaker 2: told you, I knew damn well I was going to
- 33:02Speaker 2: have women around me, but I just didn't want nobody
- 33:06Speaker 2: else messing with this. This is mine. This is mine.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Nobody can have this. This is my girl. But was
- 33:13Speaker 2: I ready to be in a relationship one-on-one?
- 33:16Speaker 5: No.
- 33:17Speaker 1: No, I still had things to do. All right.
- 33:21Speaker 2: Anthony Edwards, speaking of things he had to do, man,
- 33:24Speaker 2: pay his ex $ 14, 000.
- 33:25Speaker 1: A month of child support for his son.
- 33:28Speaker 2: Uh, He admitted he has never met after his monthly
- 33:32Speaker 2: income was calculated at $ 4.
- 33:34Speaker 1: 8 million.
- 33:34Speaker 2: Now, me and Zach, some pods back, got into this.
- 33:38Speaker 2: Got into it over this.
- 33:40Speaker 1: About what? No, we got over Anthony Edwards over to Obama. Yeah,
- 33:45Speaker 1: it wasn't about, yeah. But it was still Anthony Edwards. Yeah,
- 33:47Speaker 1: it was Anthony Edwards, yeah. But people are still dragging Anthony.
- 33:50Speaker 2: You think that this is a bad thing, that Anthony
- 33:52Speaker 2: Edwards is paying for a kid that he's never met,
- 33:55Speaker 2: and they saying, but You know, they're looking at his
- 33:58Speaker 2: monthly income at $ 4. 8 million. Like, the woman's only getting $ 14, 000.
- 34:03Speaker 2: How you feel about.
- 34:04Speaker 1: This, Kiki?
- 34:05Speaker 6: She only getting $ 14, 000 a month?
- 34:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:08Speaker 6: For one child?
- 34:10Speaker 1: Yes. That he never met?
- 34:12Speaker 2: Yes.
- 34:17Speaker 1: She act like she on trial. Why you act like
- 34:18Speaker 1: you on the stand? I was feeling a little Judge Mathis.
- 34:22Speaker 4: You got to see somebody repeat everything you're saying. So
- 34:25Speaker 4: it's after the hour, one child, $ 14, 000 a month. So
- 34:29Speaker 4: what we're saying here.
- 34:30Speaker 1: I got to.
- 34:31Speaker 6: Think about how much it costs to take care of
- 34:34Speaker 6: me every month.
- 34:35Speaker 1: $ 14, 000 wouldn't be too bad. I take my $ 14, 000. If
- 34:37Speaker 1: people are mad about $ 14, 000 a month. $ 14, 000 a month?
- 34:46Speaker 5: You know, I'm going to tell you why I'm mad
- 34:47Speaker 5: at Anthony Edwards. It's not about the money or anything.
- 34:51Speaker 5: I'm upset with Anthony Edwards. The reason he's never met
- 34:53Speaker 5: these children is because he's deciding not to meet the
- 34:55Speaker 5: side babies.
- 34:57Speaker 1: Do not take it out on the babies. I don't
- 34:58Speaker 1: think that's fair to the children. You know what I'm saying?
- 35:00Speaker 5: They didn't ask to be here. And they deserve a daddy. So,
- 35:04Speaker 5: you know, that's what I don't like about what Anthony
- 35:07Speaker 5: Edwards be doing. He's consciously saying, y'all ain't a part
- 35:11Speaker 5: of my family.
- 35:12Speaker 1: Here's some money. Go away. But I ain't.
- 35:15Speaker 5: Because legally I have to take care of them, but
- 35:17Speaker 5: I ain't meeting them. And I think that's bogus. I
- 35:20Speaker 5: think that's whack. Again, like I told you, that's a
- 35:25Speaker 5: character thing. That's a character thing. And that is a
- 35:29Speaker 5: character thing. And, I mean, it's up to him. And
- 35:32Speaker 5: a lot of guys get on this thing. Well, I
- 35:33Speaker 5: told her not to have the kids.
- 35:35Speaker 2: Well, you also just told yourself to pull out.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Wrap it up. Wrap it up. You did that, bro.
- 35:43Speaker 1: You did it. Like, that lady didn't do nothing. You
- 35:47Speaker 1: did it, dog.
- 35:48Speaker 5: Like, you literally have. You had sex with the woman.
- 35:51Speaker 5: Y'all have a kid, whether you wanted to have it
- 35:53Speaker 5: or not. Now the kid is here.
- 35:55Speaker 1: And you're like, I don't want nothing to do with
- 35:56Speaker 1: the kid because I told you not to have it.
- 35:58Speaker 1: That ain't cool. And like I said, 168.
- 36:01Speaker 2: $ 68, 000 a year is a lot of money. So shout
- 36:07Speaker 2: out to her. You know, your kid's going to be
- 36:09Speaker 2: perfectly fine. You can't, I don't know if you can
- 36:12Speaker 2: not work on $ 14, 000 because you got to do certain,
- 36:14Speaker 2: but that's a solid. $ 168, 000 a month, I think you'd
- 36:19Speaker 2: be okay for sure, for sure.
- 36:20Speaker 1: Yeah. You'd definitely be okay. Now, if he said, never mind.
- 36:26Speaker 1: No what? I was going to say, like, I ain't
- 36:28Speaker 1: meeting no kids till they about 10. Introduce me Then.
- 36:32Speaker 2: That's still wrong That's still wrong That's okay That's okay
- 36:35Speaker 2: It's no way But it's a little better Than nothing
- 36:37Speaker 2: That's wrong Jesus Christ It's no way That you can
- 36:40Speaker 2: make him Look like a good guy He's not He's
- 36:42Speaker 2: not It's no way You can look like this The
- 36:44Speaker 2: key Alright man I jam myself up.
- 36:46Speaker 5: Dang But he takes care Of the kids Of the
- 36:48Speaker 5: woman he married No Didn't he have He had a
- 36:51Speaker 5: baby With the one He's got four kids I believe
- 36:54Speaker 5: So what It's so weird to me.
- 36:56Speaker 6: I don't know how to do that. Not talking to
- 36:58Speaker 6: your kid is nuts. Yeah, you're whack for that forever.
- 37:01Speaker 6: And there's no going back. Especially you letting us document
- 37:03Speaker 6: it like you think that's the flex. You're not hurting
- 37:07Speaker 6: nobody but the child. You ain't hurting that woman. She's
- 37:09Speaker 6: going to find another man being your kid life and
- 37:11Speaker 6: spend your $ 14, 000.
- 37:12Speaker 2: And the karma of it is you know what the
- 37:15Speaker 2: karma is going to be. The karma is going to
- 37:18Speaker 2: be out of all of your kids that you got,
- 37:21Speaker 2: that's the one that's going to be the crazy.
- 37:24Speaker 1: Because it's a son. Oh, he going straight to the league.
- 37:28Speaker 1: He going to have an attitude.
- 37:29Speaker 2: He going to have a chip on his shoulder every
- 37:31Speaker 2: day like, man, my dad, man, forget them shoes.
- 37:34Speaker 1: My daddy got shoes.
- 37:36Speaker 2: He literally is going to grow up hating you, wanting
- 37:41Speaker 2: to get to the league. He might want to get
- 37:43Speaker 2: to the league while you're still there, while you're still
- 37:47Speaker 2: in the league.
- 37:48Speaker 1: I got to get to the league so I can
- 37:49Speaker 1: play against him.
- 37:50Speaker 2: Yep.
- 37:50Speaker 6: And once the kids that you are raising grow up
- 37:53Speaker 6: and learn what type of man you are, they're not
- 37:55Speaker 6: going to respect you either.
- 37:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:57Speaker 2: So, I mean, personally, he's still young enough to fix it.
- 38:01Speaker 2: He's young enough to fix it. There are NBA players
- 38:05Speaker 2: all across and professional athletes and entertainers that are all
- 38:08Speaker 2: across this world that have.
- 38:10Speaker 1: Done something and been like, damn. But they taking care
- 38:14Speaker 1: of their kids. Period.
- 38:15Speaker 2: And that, I hope somebody really puts some words in
- 38:19Speaker 2: Anthony Edwards' ears, man. All right, according to TMZ, Pierre,
- 38:23Speaker 2: Pete Thomas is improving after suffering a heart attack. After
- 38:26Speaker 2: a statement was put out that he had passed away,
- 38:31Speaker 2: it was a lot of wild statements, but P is
- 38:33Speaker 2: doing better, so that's good to hear.
- 38:35Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm happy to hear that because they reported that
- 38:39Speaker 6: man dead.
- 38:41Speaker 1: I said, Lord, have mercy.
- 38:43Speaker 2: Again, this is another one. Shout out to the Pop
- 38:45Speaker 2: Fam that is over 40. Fellas, you got to check
- 38:49Speaker 2: yourself out. I done lost a lot of friends over
- 38:52Speaker 2: nothing but heart attacks. I know I don't want to
- 38:54Speaker 2: say nothing but heart attacks, but Those are things that
- 38:57Speaker 2: you could alleviate or give yourself a little bit more
- 39:00Speaker 2: time by just checking out finals.
- 39:01Speaker 1: You got high blood pressure.
- 39:03Speaker 2: You got anything going on with your heart.
- 39:05Speaker 1: You can change your eating habits.
- 39:07Speaker 2: I mean, sometimes that stuff does happen, but a lot
- 39:09Speaker 2: of times you got people that are still living the
- 39:11Speaker 2: same way they was in their 20s.
- 39:13Speaker 1: All right.
- 39:15Speaker 2: Big X Da Plug was arrested on DWI and gun
- 39:18Speaker 2: charges after missing a festival performance due to personal emergency.
- 39:22Speaker 1: So Big X Da Plug is doing what rappers do.
- 39:26Speaker 6: I know, but let's not do this, Big X, because
- 39:28Speaker 6: I feel like he was... being accepted commercially. Is that
- 39:32Speaker 6: what I'm trying to say? Like, yeah, he was being,
- 39:35Speaker 6: I think he has mass appeal potential, and I don't
- 39:38Speaker 6: want him to mess it up with these type of headlines.
- 39:40Speaker 6: He seemed like a fun, lovable type of artist that
- 39:44Speaker 6: people were gravitating to, and now we're talking about him
- 39:47Speaker 6: being arrested.
- 39:47Speaker 1: I don't want that for him. Mm-mm.
- 39:50Speaker 6: Let somebody else take the charge, too, by the way.
- 39:52Speaker 6: If you the star, somebody else got to eat that.
- 39:54Speaker 1: What are you doing?
- 39:55Speaker 2: Damn.
- 39:56Speaker 3: Yep.
- 39:56Speaker 1: What are you doing, Big X? Damn. Big X is
- 40:00Speaker 1: just getting on my nerves. I'm tired of talking. This
- 40:02Speaker 1: is the second time. Oh, for real? That he got arrested?
- 40:04Speaker 2: Yes.
- 40:04Speaker 5: So there must be a drug problem. I don't know
- 40:07Speaker 5: if it's a problem. It's the same thing. You're being
- 40:09Speaker 5: a rapper, riding around with guns and weed. This happened
- 40:12Speaker 5: last time, and now it's happening again. You too big
- 40:16Speaker 5: of a star for that.
- 40:18Speaker 1: I don't like it.
- 40:19Speaker 5: And I was just trying to figure out how he
- 40:21Speaker 5: crossed over so fast. But that's another story. You know,
- 40:27Speaker 5: I go in conspiracy mode.
- 40:31Speaker 1: Oh, what? He a talent, Zach. He better than Elmene.
- 40:36Speaker 1: I'm not saying. Let's not even try that. He said
- 40:40Speaker 1: he better than who? Elmene.
- 40:42Speaker 6: I'm done slandering because I am now a fan. I'm
- 40:45Speaker 6: going to the next Elmene show.
- 40:47Speaker 1: I was like, okay.
- 40:52Speaker 5: I don't know how you have three songs, and then
- 40:55Speaker 5: next thing you know, you doing country.
- 40:59Speaker 1: I don't know. It just seemed a little, I can't
- 41:04Speaker 1: put my finger on it, but something ain't right. Something
- 41:07Speaker 1: in the water ain't clean. Something ain't right. He's talented.
- 41:10Speaker 1: That's what's right. Everybody in the industry talented, Tom. No,
- 41:13Speaker 1: everybody in the industry ain't talented now, Zay.
- 41:15Speaker 5: It's a lot of people who've had bigger success than
- 41:18Speaker 5: Big X Da Plug, who didn't.
- 41:19Speaker 1: Get the same.
- 41:20Speaker 5: I'm just saying, how are these doors opening so easily
- 41:24Speaker 5: for him? Shit, Nelly had to have a diamond album
- 41:26Speaker 5: to get over to country and be accepted.
- 41:29Speaker 1: Big X Da Plug gave you three singles, and here
- 41:31Speaker 1: he is. He's from Texas.
- 41:34Speaker 2: So?
- 41:35Speaker 1: That don't have nothing to do with him being from Texas.
- 41:38Speaker 1: I'm sorry about that, y'all.
- 41:41Speaker 6: What we do when that happens? We can't take a shot.
- 41:44Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I'm just sorry.
- 41:46Speaker 5: Beyonce ain't been accepted in the country music the way
- 41:48Speaker 5: Big X the plug asked. She from Texas and it's Beyonce.
- 41:52Speaker 1: She's also black. They still give her the cold shoulder.
- 41:55Speaker 1: She a black woman.
- 41:56Speaker 5: I'm just saying how this big black dude does it.
- 41:59Speaker 5: And what I'm trying to say is maybe they want
- 42:01Speaker 5: to promote that. But I'm going to leave that alone.
- 42:04Speaker 6: They want to promote the message?
- 42:06Speaker 1: What they trying to do, Jack? I don't know what
- 42:07Speaker 1: they trying to promote. I just know that it's something here.
- 42:10Speaker 1: I just know how country music is.
- 42:12Speaker 3: Yep.
- 42:12Speaker 1: Okay?
- 42:13Speaker 5: You got to be super successful. You get to be super,
- 42:16Speaker 5: super successful, and then they'll let you in. But they
- 42:19Speaker 5: don't really like people.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Okay?
- 42:21Speaker 5: Especially our people. But Big X seem like he just
- 42:24Speaker 5: got the red carpet. Shaboosie is only a country artist.
- 42:28Speaker 5: And he got his. They don't usually let you come
- 42:31Speaker 5: from rap playing in there with your pants hanging all down,
- 42:33Speaker 5: looking like that, coming up.
- 42:36Speaker 1: All right.
- 42:36Speaker 6: Maybe Jelly Roll opened the door for, like, a big X.
- 42:40Speaker 1: Jelly Roll's white, though.
- 42:41Speaker 6: I know, but he was, you know, he had the
- 42:43Speaker 6: tattoos and the saggy pants, too.
- 42:47Speaker 1: Jelly Roll white, and Jelly Roll had hits for a while.
- 42:50Speaker 6: I was just trying to give Big X the plug
- 42:52Speaker 6: for help.
- 42:53Speaker 1: It's just something missing. I don't know how. I don't
- 42:55Speaker 1: know what's happening, but he got a good figure. All right,
- 42:57Speaker 1: let's get to Kiki's Goat.
- 42:58Speaker 2: The new Wendy Williams docuseries is coming to Peacock that
- 43:01Speaker 2: will allegedly— Oh, wow. We'll explore the rise of her
- 43:05Speaker 2: iconic talk show. So it looks like we'll see some
- 43:08Speaker 2: Charlamagne in there and some Wendy.
- 43:13Speaker 1: I heard that Wendy's not a part of it. I
- 43:15Speaker 1: don't really enjoy that piece of it. Is she getting
- 43:18Speaker 1: paid for it? I don't know. I don't know if
- 43:20Speaker 1: she is.
- 43:21Speaker 6: And so that's where I'm like, I don't know.
- 43:23Speaker 1: What is this? And who's telling her story? Her producer?
- 43:27Speaker 6: Okay, but is she behind it? Is she getting money
- 43:31Speaker 6: behind it? I don't know the answer to those questions yet.
- 43:34Speaker 6: So I haven't decided if I'm going to support it
- 43:37Speaker 6: or not. But if somebody, if Wendy is still alive
- 43:41Speaker 6: and well, she needs to be a part of whatever
- 43:43Speaker 6: somebody is trying, whoever is trying to tell her story.
- 43:46Speaker 2: Yep.
- 43:46Speaker 5: Sound like somebody trying to take advantage of Wendy once again,
- 43:50Speaker 5: especially in they were the old reports is that it
- 43:53Speaker 5: was a race to who going to put out the
- 43:55Speaker 5: documentary fast enough. And that's the thing about these documentaries.
- 43:58Speaker 5: You got to be weary of them. We look at
- 44:01Speaker 5: them like they truth. But it's really these people can
- 44:03Speaker 5: put clips together and interview people and create any type
- 44:06Speaker 5: of narrative you want. I think there should be some
- 44:08Speaker 5: type of regulation on that, man. If you see all
- 44:11Speaker 5: the Michael Jackson documentaries they put out, you know what
- 44:15Speaker 5: I'm saying, slandering him even though he was found innocent.
- 44:17Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? So that don't even matter.
- 44:19Speaker 5: They put out documentaries on anybody, and the person has
- 44:23Speaker 5: no say-so because of whatever the law is. But I
- 44:27Speaker 5: just think you got to be careful of that because
- 44:29Speaker 5: that can get tricky. people be against you and they
- 44:31Speaker 5: can just be like, oh, we can slander him. You
- 44:34Speaker 5: could be doing something positive. Let's put this spin out there.
- 44:37Speaker 5: All you need is somebody to interview.
- 44:40Speaker 1: Don't even have to be close. Just show up in
- 44:42Speaker 1: the interview.
- 44:43Speaker 5: These people get paid to say whatever and then they
- 44:46Speaker 5: run with it.
- 44:47Speaker 6: My daddy was a background dancer.
- 44:49Speaker 1: Y'all believe the Diddy documentary?
- 44:53Speaker 5: I didn't say I didn't believe the Diddy documentary or
- 44:56Speaker 5: I do believe the Diddy documentary. All I said is
- 44:58Speaker 5: be weary of documentaries that they can come up with
- 45:02Speaker 5: whatever narrative they want within a documentary without it necessarily
- 45:05Speaker 5: having to be factual.
- 45:06Speaker 1: You did say you believe it.
- 45:08Speaker 6: And a lot of the Diddy documentary was actual footage
- 45:10Speaker 6: of Diddy, John.
- 45:12Speaker 1: Huh?
- 45:12Speaker 6: Like a lot of the Diddy documentary was actual footage
- 45:15Speaker 6: of Diddy.
- 45:16Speaker 1: There were actual footage.
- 45:17Speaker 2: There was no footage of doing the stuff that some,
- 45:19Speaker 2: the things that they were saying he was doing.
- 45:20Speaker 1: It was people telling stories.
- 45:23Speaker 2: Right.
- 45:23Speaker 6: But it was actual, like we saw him. do what
- 45:27Speaker 6: everybody truly is upset about which was whooping beating on
- 45:29Speaker 6: cassie we saw like what that was actually.
- 45:32Speaker 1: Okay cassie part was but what about the other stuff.
- 45:35Speaker 6: We actually watched making the band we've watched diddy over
- 45:39Speaker 6: the years there's other credible celebrities who are saying that
- 45:42Speaker 6: things happen to them okay so it's a little different so.
- 45:46Speaker 2: What if there's some credible people talking about your goat
- 45:49Speaker 2: and this docuseries from wendy williams i doubt there.
- 45:51Speaker 1: Will be.
- 45:53Speaker 6: Charlamagne refused to do anything that she wasn't included in.
- 45:57Speaker 1: From what I heard. Oh, so they asked Charlamagne to
- 45:59Speaker 1: be in this? I'm sure they did.
- 46:00Speaker 6: Not this particular one, but he has turned down other
- 46:02Speaker 6: Wendy projects that she wasn't getting benefited from.
- 46:04Speaker 1: Like, she wasn't getting paid from. And that's respectful.
- 46:06Speaker 6: Like, can't nobody come make a Tom Capone documentary and
- 46:09Speaker 6: have Kiki sitting in a chair. Well, let me not
- 46:11Speaker 6: say that, because how much they going to pay me?
- 46:13Speaker 2: But, um.
- 46:14Speaker 1: I'm just playing.
- 46:16Speaker 6: But no, can't nobody come, you know, and I know
- 46:19Speaker 6: you ain't getting a piece of it, you know, or
- 46:21Speaker 6: you have no say in it or something like that.
- 46:23Speaker 1: That's crazy. They could do that.
- 46:24Speaker 5: They could find, but the thing that scares me, even
- 46:26Speaker 5: on the true ones or the stuff, I'm not saying
- 46:28Speaker 5: there's no, that all of them are false, but if
- 46:30Speaker 5: you have the ability to make something and you can
- 46:32Speaker 5: slant it in any way you want, you.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Gotta be wary of it. We could find, what if
- 46:35Speaker 1: we just lined up everybody who hate Tom? That's what
- 46:37Speaker 1: I'm saying.
- 46:38Speaker 5: And then we just, and then your, in your worst
- 46:40Speaker 5: moments that our own camera, we put it all together
- 46:44Speaker 5: and then had a people talk in between it.
- 46:46Speaker 1: We'd come up watching that like, oh, this dude is
- 46:47Speaker 1: this type of person. He's this, he's that. It's just not.
- 46:51Speaker 1: I don't like it.
- 46:52Speaker 2: Yeah, they got to do some type of regulation on it,
- 46:56Speaker 2: but I don't think it's ever going to happen.
- 46:58Speaker 1: No, because people are free to tell their experiences.
- 47:00Speaker 6: Like, I can drop a documentary of my experience of
- 47:03Speaker 6: working with you or anything like that. People can always
- 47:06Speaker 6: have that right, but where it gets tricky is if
- 47:08Speaker 6: you have somebody credible to back up what my claim is.
- 47:12Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying? It's one thing if if
- 47:15Speaker 6: Ryder do a documentary on us and.
- 47:17Speaker 1: He could. He could. He will be the one. He
- 47:20Speaker 1: gonna get us. That's why we have to put him
- 47:22Speaker 1: on some papers. Yeah, papers. But he could, right? But
- 47:27Speaker 1: it'd be... But if Zach is in the documentary.
- 47:31Speaker 6: cosigning everything that the writer is saying, then it gives
- 47:34Speaker 6: it life.
- 47:35Speaker 1: It does give it life, but I could just be
- 47:36Speaker 1: mad at y'all. That's what I'm saying.
- 47:38Speaker 5: What if I turn hater and I'm mad and then
- 47:41Speaker 5: I'm like, writer, we gonna put this together and then
- 47:43Speaker 5: I start spinning it.
- 47:44Speaker 1: No matter, just because I'm close to you don't mean
- 47:46Speaker 1: that the narrative is the truth. No, that's facts, but
- 47:48Speaker 1: I'm just saying, so I would not do... I know
- 47:50Speaker 1: the route you take home. You said who? I know
- 47:52Speaker 1: the route he takes home.
- 47:54Speaker 4: Oh.
- 47:55Speaker 1: You know the route I take home? Know where to
- 47:56Speaker 1: find him. I don't know. I had that on camera.
- 48:02Speaker 1: And this tone going up in my house. You know
- 48:04Speaker 1: it's true.
- 48:05Speaker 2: Right.
- 48:05Speaker 6: So, like, y'all going to believe that? We see you
- 48:08Speaker 6: on camera, Diddy. We see it on camera.
- 48:11Speaker 1: Y'all believe the Diddy documentary. Yeah, well, Diddy was in there.
- 48:14Speaker 2: All right, let's get to this, Zach. Explain Ask the
- 48:17Speaker 2: Pod to everybody. What did I miss?
- 48:21Speaker 6: How did you feel about the versus battle?
- 48:24Speaker 2: Oh.
- 48:24Speaker 1: Did you get a chance to.
- 48:25Speaker 6: Watch your goal?
- 48:26Speaker 1: I didn't want to talk about that. Oh, no, you
- 48:29Speaker 1: going to talk about it. You can forget about that.
- 48:32Speaker 1: The people been waiting all week for that. They been
- 48:34Speaker 1: waiting on you.
- 48:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:35Speaker 1: What? Your goat. The one, yes.
- 48:37Speaker 2: I think it was, I think it was wrong how
- 48:39Speaker 2: they did him with the microphones. The microphones weren't charged up.
- 48:44Speaker 2: I don't think the microphones was charged up. I think
- 48:47Speaker 2: the audio was a little bad, maybe.
- 48:49Speaker 1: Yep.
- 48:51Speaker 2: I think there was some technical issues that were probably
- 48:53Speaker 2: beyond Apple Music and Versus Control on Donnell's side that,
- 48:58Speaker 2: you know, affected it. Same thing that happened Donnell had
- 49:01Speaker 2: the same thing that happened to him that happened to B2K.
- 49:05Speaker 6: Well, first of all, B2K sounded amazing. You're talking about
- 49:07Speaker 6: Omarion's with Mario. And that was just unfair.
- 49:12Speaker 5: I just think versus exposing people, man. Y'all got to
- 49:18Speaker 5: stop this. If you know your voice ain't like it
- 49:20Speaker 5: used to be, play the track. As soon as they
- 49:23Speaker 5: would have came out there and said, hey, we're going
- 49:26Speaker 5: to do acapella. We're just going to have the microphone
- 49:27Speaker 5: and the band going to play for both of them.
- 49:30Speaker 5: Somebody on Donnell's team should have said, nope, that's not
- 49:33Speaker 5: what we're going to do.
- 49:34Speaker 1: But you can do that for Joe if you want.
- 49:36Speaker 1: But when Donnell come on, we are playing the track. Okay?
- 49:39Speaker 1: That's what we're going to do. And we're going to
- 49:41Speaker 1: play the track very loud. Sound check. Let me hear it.
- 49:44Speaker 5: Because he could have been, it would have been a
- 49:45Speaker 5: more close battle if Donnell could have really, when he
- 49:48Speaker 5: performed This Love, my favorite Donnell song, and it sounded
- 49:52Speaker 5: like that.
- 49:53Speaker 1: I said, no, I'm going to have to get up
- 49:55Speaker 1: out of here. What's wrong with him? Is he okay?
- 49:57Speaker 1: I'm texting Kiki. Hey, are you seeing this? Are you
- 50:01Speaker 1: watching this? I text y'all like, is he okay? I
- 50:05Speaker 1: watched it and got sick.
- 50:07Speaker 3: What?
- 50:07Speaker 1: I was, I was, I can't, I can't watch my
- 50:10Speaker 1: mans go out.
- 50:10Speaker 2: It was like, it's just, you can't, it's like watching
- 50:13Speaker 2: your friend do anything bad. It was just like, I
- 50:16Speaker 2: was like, ah, this ain't where I want to remember you,
- 50:18Speaker 2: my dog. Because Donnell, to me, has a better body
- 50:23Speaker 2: of work than Joe does.
- 50:25Speaker 1: And musically. I think, I think it would have been
- 50:29Speaker 1: closer if he could do his full. You think Joe
- 50:31Speaker 1: would have still beat him? Joe still would have won. Kiki?
- 50:39Speaker 6: I watched it the first time with y'all and we
- 50:41Speaker 6: were texting and I thought it was horrible but something
- 50:44Speaker 6: I went back and watched it back and it wasn't
- 50:47Speaker 6: as bad as I originally thought I don't the first
- 50:49Speaker 6: to be editing the vocals or something afterwards okay because
- 50:53Speaker 6: I'm like it didn't sound that bad they edit afterwards
- 50:55Speaker 6: the second time I went and watched it okay.
- 50:57Speaker 1: Oh yeah they definitely got to that no they edit.
- 50:59Speaker 6: Afterwards okay well let me tell you something Danielle you
- 51:01Speaker 6: looked good and that's all that matter you looked good
- 51:05Speaker 6: You had your suit on. Chicago men are so cool. Like,
- 51:08Speaker 6: y'all have a type of cool that is just unmatched.
- 51:14Speaker 6: And that was really it. It was almost too cool
- 51:16Speaker 6: for me, though. Like, I wish they would have talked
- 51:18Speaker 6: to each other a little bit more or kind of
- 51:20Speaker 6: engaged with each other a little bit more.
- 51:21Speaker 1: All they said was, yeah, that was a good song
- 51:23Speaker 1: back then, brother. Yeah, I like that. To me, I'm
- 51:25Speaker 1: going to be honest with you. I felt like Joe
- 51:27Speaker 1: was holding back. Oh, for sure.
- 51:28Speaker 5: I felt like Joe heard Donnell and said, I do
- 51:30Speaker 5: not want to embarrass this man up here. I'm going
- 51:32Speaker 5: to just kind of. you know, get through my songs,
- 51:35Speaker 5: and then he turned it up on Where I Want
- 51:38Speaker 5: to Be, you know, but I feel like he cruised,
- 51:41Speaker 5: you know, he kind of cruised through, because I don't
- 51:43Speaker 5: feel like he wanted to humiliate Dineen.
- 51:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 51:46Speaker 1: Because Dineen did not sound good. I'm sorry. But I
- 51:50Speaker 1: told y'all that when I saw him live at that show.
- 51:52Speaker 1: I mean, look, Zach, you don't got to rub it in, bro.
- 51:55Speaker 1: You ain't got to do that.
- 51:56Speaker 5: I'm not rubbing it in. I'm just speaking on verses.
- 52:02Speaker 5: So I need to leave it alone.
- 52:03Speaker 1: It's one of our greats, man. Don't put them down.
- 52:05Speaker 5: I love that first album. Where I want to be
- 52:07Speaker 5: is classic to this day.
- 52:08Speaker 1: Still get up to it. Elmeen has never created anything
- 52:10Speaker 1: close to that.
- 52:11Speaker 3: Who?
- 52:12Speaker 1: Elmeen.
- 52:13Speaker 5: Elmeen just got started. And Elmeen do got some stuff close.
- 52:17Speaker 5: You've never listened to him.
- 52:18Speaker 2: I have.
- 52:19Speaker 1: Recently. Well, you haven't. You know what pissed me off, though, Donnell?
- 52:23Speaker 1: When you brought out 702. I just put Elmeen next
- 52:24Speaker 1: to Donnell and see who sound better. Right now? Anytime.
- 52:28Speaker 1: Elmeen is seeing Donnell on the tape.
- 52:29Speaker 6: I think something was wrong with them mics. Because I
- 52:32Speaker 6: ain't never heard 702 sound like that.
- 52:34Speaker 1: Chicago people make excuses. Come on. Anything. It was. 702
- 52:42Speaker 1: sounded bad. They did. If you can't sing, you can't sing. Oh,
- 52:46Speaker 1: my God. They can sing. Y'all not going to keep
- 52:48Speaker 1: blaming it on the mic.
- 52:50Speaker 2: They have to. Just for verses. I'm not trying to
- 52:55Speaker 2: critique verses. I love verses.
- 52:58Speaker 1: I think it's awesome. But I would.
- 53:00Speaker 2: They got to. Make sure that they sound good. I
- 53:04Speaker 2: think everybody should be at their best sound. Whatever that means.
- 53:08Speaker 2: Whatever you need to do to make them people sound good,
- 53:11Speaker 2: let them sound good, and then we judge the body
- 53:13Speaker 2: of work.
- 53:14Speaker 1: Just play the track.
- 53:15Speaker 6: Like, you could lip-sync it or pretend and play the track.
- 53:18Speaker 6: Because I'm pissed because I thought this was going to
- 53:20Speaker 6: be the tour. I thought they was going to kill
- 53:22Speaker 6: it on verses. We was going to be entertained. And
- 53:24Speaker 6: then Young Fly Entertainment all across the country. Joe and
- 53:27Speaker 6: Donnell Jones.
- 53:29Speaker 1: I just knew it. I just knew. Now Donnell, you know,
- 53:32Speaker 1: people are going to be playing on his name, and
- 53:34Speaker 1: I don't like that. They playing on his name.
- 53:36Speaker 6: Playing on his name, bro. He been through a lot
- 53:39Speaker 6: in this industry, too. Like, you know, I know it's
- 53:41Speaker 6: all ha-ha-hee-hee, but he has been through a lot.
- 53:43Speaker 1: And we went through a lot. We went through a lot. Listen.
- 53:46Speaker 1: I'm sad. I'm sad to see that. Because y'all not
- 53:50Speaker 1: keeping it real. We went through a lot. Ain't nobody
- 53:52Speaker 1: make Donnell. Y'all just feel all sorry and sad.
- 53:55Speaker 4: Ain't nobody make Donnell go up there and sing with Joe.
- 53:58Speaker 4: Nobody made him do a damn thing.
- 54:00Speaker 1: When he did that Stevie Wonder. Oh, sweet.
- 54:03Speaker 5: It was terrible.
- 54:09Speaker 1: What was that, man? Oh, God.
- 54:12Speaker 2: And Joe.
- 54:13Speaker 1: Joe had on grills and had a cane. I didn't
- 54:16Speaker 1: know what was going on. And that red fit. I
- 54:18Speaker 1: didn't know what he was. Where did Joe from? Missa.
- 54:21Speaker 1: It got to be. Because that.
- 54:25Speaker 2: Joe.
- 54:26Speaker 1: Where is he from for real? Joe, that fit was
- 54:29Speaker 1: by far. Joe is not from Mississippi. That was by
- 54:31Speaker 1: far one of the worst three pieces I've ever seen
- 54:35Speaker 1: in my life. Hot red. He said, give me a
- 54:38Speaker 1: hot red and a busy shirt.
- 54:40Speaker 5: Put a busy shirt up under it and put all
- 54:42Speaker 5: my chest and I'm going to come out with this.
- 54:44Speaker 5: What the hell you got on, Joe? I like Donnell's suit.
- 54:50Speaker 5: Donnell's suit gave.
- 54:52Speaker 1: R & B. He was fly. It was cream. It
- 54:53Speaker 1: was double-breasted cream with the glasses. It was cool. I
- 54:56Speaker 1: like Donnell's fit. They said his girdle was showing, though,
- 54:59Speaker 1: but I ain't see it. I'm like, he ain't got
- 55:01Speaker 1: no girdle. People was talking about it. They said he
- 55:03Speaker 1: had a man girdle. That ain't right. They said he
- 55:04Speaker 1: had a man girdle under it. I don't care. The
- 55:06Speaker 1: suit looked good, though. He had a good suit on.
- 55:09Speaker 1: That ain't right, man. Leave that man alone. Where Joe from, Kiki?
- 55:11Speaker 6: I'm trying to find this shit. So many Joes in
- 55:13Speaker 6: the world.
- 55:14Speaker 1: Put Joe Singer. Singer Joe. Joe Black Singer. It really
- 55:19Speaker 1: don't have where he from on here. Hold on. Kiki
- 55:21Speaker 1: done looked up JoJo. Get out right now. Oh, he
- 55:28Speaker 1: from Alabama, Zayn. Tell me that wasn't an Alabama suit.
- 55:34Speaker 1: What part of Alabama, Kiki? Oka Pika. Oka Pika, Alabama.
- 55:41Speaker 1: That's who made this suit. That's why I'm like- The
- 55:44Speaker 1: finest tailor in Okapeka, Alabama, man.
- 55:47Speaker 6: You don't never want to have on an outfit and
- 55:49Speaker 6: somebody got to wonder where you from by your outfit.
- 55:51Speaker 6: You know?
- 55:52Speaker 1: Like, where is he from? I'm sorry. This is versus, too.
- 55:55Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Joe. So that means everybody was like- Everybody. Oh,
- 55:58Speaker 1: you put it on today. Everybody from Okapeka was in
- 56:01Speaker 1: the back like, oh, yeah, Joe. You going to kill
- 56:05Speaker 1: him with that?
- 56:06Speaker 4: Go get some people from Chicago, New York, L.A., Miami,
- 56:11Speaker 4: somebody else.
- 56:11Speaker 1: In your crew. Yes, that man from Alabama. I never
- 56:15Speaker 1: knew that. That fit was terrible. Oka Pika, everybody was
- 56:19Speaker 1: from Oka Pika with him.
- 56:21Speaker 6: That's another thing. They need to get them people off
- 56:24Speaker 6: the stage. That's another thing that pissed me off. Y'all
- 56:29Speaker 6: sitting on that stage ain't moving.
- 56:31Speaker 2: Oh, God.
- 56:32Speaker 1: That outfit was pissing me off. It was pissing me off. Okapita.
- 56:40Speaker 1: My bad, Joe. I'm sorry, Okapita.
- 56:43Speaker 5: They said Donnell didn't know where he want to be.
- 56:47Speaker 6: No, what got me there, somebody said he going to
- 56:49Speaker 6: have to bring out Left Eye to win the battle.
- 56:51Speaker 1: I said, oh. Come on, man.
- 56:55Speaker 6: Okay, how y'all feel about 50's appearance at the Versus?
- 56:59Speaker 1: He came out. Looks like more uncles came to the show.
- 57:02Speaker 1: I'm going to be honest with you. I love 50's.
- 57:03Speaker 1: Everybody was excited for this 50's performance. And if I'm
- 57:06Speaker 1: going to tell the truth, I love 50. Don't get
- 57:08Speaker 1: me wrong. 50's a great performer. On that show, it
- 57:11Speaker 1: just sucked off. It looked like he came from Okapika, too.
- 57:15Speaker 5: He looked country with that little shirt and the people
- 57:18Speaker 5: with him.
- 57:19Speaker 2: He been in Shreveport a little bit.
- 57:21Speaker 1: It looked so country. Hey, hey, get out of here, unks.
- 57:26Speaker 1: I didn't like it. That ain't cool, man. Oh, that's

- 58:44Speaker 1: He was dressed like my Uncle Roy.
- 58:46Speaker 2: You just keep, you sound like you're trying to make
- 58:49Speaker 2: a Chicago GTA character.
- 58:50Speaker 1: Would you read the comments, please? I don't want to leave.
- 58:53Speaker 1: I miss y'all. Talk to y'all in a while. Let

- 59:14Speaker 2: I think we just give people the bad news right now.
- 59:16Speaker 6: I don't have any bad news for anybody today.
- 59:19Speaker 1: Today? Today. Okay. I don't. I don't. Gina Lee.
- 59:25Speaker 6: Clarissa Shields is very manly. Three exclamation points. You need
- 59:29Speaker 6: to chill, Gina Lee. It's crazy. Checking in from Portage, Indiana.
- 59:38Speaker 1: Portage.
- 59:39Speaker 6: Yeah, he's saying Stephen A. deserved that thumbs down.
- 59:44Speaker 1: Okay. Uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh.
- 59:48Speaker 2: Um....
- 59:51Speaker 6: Toya Jo, I finally saw the trailer for the reboot
- 59:54Speaker 6: of A Different World, and I agree with Zach. He
- 59:57Speaker 6: definitely should have made the cast. Actually, I could see
- 1:00:00Speaker 6: the entire pod on there.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: What show are they talking about? Different World, the reboot.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: We should have been on that. I took that. Let
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: me play myself. Oh, God.
- 1:00:16Speaker 6: Mason Jar, 2008. I'm convinced after that this has to
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: stop performance, Big Boog should have been in the Black Panther.
- 1:00:26Speaker 6: I'm trying to hold my laugh in while I type
- 1:00:28Speaker 6: this from Houston.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: There's no way I should not have been in Black Panther.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: How was I not in that?
- 1:00:34Speaker 6: Oh, Tone, they mad at you for Stephen A's take.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: Stephen A take? Yeah.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: Y'all could be mad at me over Stephen A. But
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: I think they just had Stephen A. They just had him.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: at the NABJ two years back-to-back. He was here in Chicago,
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: and then they give him a thumbs down. I mean,
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: Stephen A. done way more good than he has done bad.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: Has he stepped out when he stepped out of sports
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: and said some wrong things? Of course he has, but
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: people say wrong stuff all the time.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 1:01:07Speaker 6: And maybe this is for tomorrow's pie. We got to
