- 1:59Speaker 1: very much.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Let's talk Missing the Boat? Do you gotta send up?
- 2:03Speaker 1: Since yes, Strangers Kelly and Parker both end up on
- 2:08Speaker 1: the same Italian cruise, but after missing the boat during
- 2:12Speaker 1: a stop, they are forced to team up and race
- 2:15Speaker 1: across southern Italy to catch up.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Missing the Boat is directed by McLean Nelson, marking his
- 2:21Speaker 2: twenty first directing credit for Hallmark. He's also behind fan
- 2:25Speaker 2: favorites like A Keller Christmas Vacation, Haul Out, The Halloween,
- 2:28Speaker 2: The Magic of Lemon Drops, and Branching Out.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I mean those are all like five star movies. Oh no, crazy,
- 2:34Speaker 1: I mean I don't technically know if I rated them
- 2:36Speaker 1: all five stars, but looking up the list, I'm like, yeah,
- 2:39Speaker 1: I like all those movies.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Yep.
- 2:41Speaker 1: This script comes from sisters Judith and Sandra Berg, who
- 2:45Speaker 1: have written a ton of Hallmark stables, including The Wedding Cottage,
- 2:49Speaker 1: All six Wedding Veil Movies, A Little Daytime Drama, and
- 2:52Speaker 1: Love on the Sidelines. McLean Nelson also wears a writing hat.
- 2:56Speaker 1: He previously contributed to scripts like Return to Office, A
- 2:59Speaker 1: High Idelberg Holiday, and Haul Out the Halloween.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Christopher Palaja plays Parker, adding a ninety third credit to
- 3:06Speaker 2: his resume. We last saw him in A Grand Ole
- 3:08Speaker 2: Opry Christmas, and coming soon he's pulling double duty directing
- 3:12Speaker 2: and starring in Mimics Out in Theaters February thirteenth. Emilia
- 3:18Speaker 2: Ollerup plays Kelly and brings sixty two acting credits to
- 3:21Speaker 2: the role. Hallmark fans will know her best from Chesapeake
- 3:23Speaker 2: Shores and Sign Sealed Delivered. We last saw her on
- 3:26Speaker 2: Hallmark opposite Michael Rady in Catch of the Day, Breaking
- 3:30Speaker 2: Girls Gone Hallmark News. Oops at did again for years
- 3:40Speaker 2: this smooth Nobody told us, you guys got all up
- 3:43Speaker 2: in our grill about Nile materer, and nobody told us
- 3:46Speaker 2: that we were calling Emilia Emily for years.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Okay, in our defense, it is spelled like Emily, but
- 3:53Speaker 1: it's the Danish pronunciation. I hate. I feel sick to
- 3:58Speaker 1: my core when we say somebody's naming correctly, like I
- 4:03Speaker 1: feel terrible about it. When did she make this old?
- 4:07Speaker 1: Megan sent me a reel of one Emilia Amelia artist
- 4:13Speaker 1: time because in my head I see a right and
- 4:16Speaker 1: so like like Amelia Badilia? Is that Amelia like that
- 4:21Speaker 1: it's not quite right? Or like Amilia. Yeah, I can't
- 4:24Speaker 1: get there. I will anyway, just to retrain our brains.
- 4:28Speaker 1: I have to retrain my brain. I just feel terrible
- 4:32Speaker 1: about it. But she sent Meghan sent me a reel
- 4:35Speaker 1: from years ago where she like says it and I'm
- 4:38Speaker 1: the club Erica table Nile, Mader Amelia. And if I
- 4:43Speaker 1: did not watch an interview over the weekend, I would
- 4:48Speaker 1: not have even had we would be sitting here calling
- 4:51Speaker 1: her Emily. I know.
- 4:54Speaker 2: I did a deep dive to try and find her
- 4:56Speaker 2: saying it. I watched several videos until I found that real.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Our apologies genuinely totally.
- 5:04Speaker 1: I mean, my name is Wendy, right, and there people
- 5:08Speaker 1: have called me Wendy. Do you see you know the difference? Yeah,
- 5:13Speaker 1: but that's how you pronounce your name. You know that, right,
- 5:15Speaker 1: I pronounce it Wendy. You do not I do. You
- 5:18Speaker 1: don't I do because I say Hi, I'm Wendy. No,
- 5:22Speaker 1: I don't because I was Karon Wayan. I guarantee we
- 5:27Speaker 1: have talked about it because you Oh, I don't like
- 5:29Speaker 1: that one bit. Knowing that you guys have talked about name.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Let me tell you why kind of pisses me off.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Go ahead, No, let me tell you why on either
- 5:38Speaker 2: Patreon or other maybe long story short. You came in
- 5:43Speaker 2: hot one day and you're like, look, my coffee says Whitney.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Yes, which happens a lot often.
- 5:48Speaker 2: And so we were talking about it and Karen, my
- 5:50Speaker 2: friend Karen listens and she was like, hey, I heard that.
- 5:52Speaker 2: She's like, by the way, when I hear Wendy say
- 5:55Speaker 2: her name, it sounds.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Like she says that a lot. When I was in college.
- 5:59Speaker 1: This I feel like I've told this story before I
- 6:01Speaker 1: was in college. This dude sat next to me. He
- 6:03Speaker 1: said what her name? I said, Wendy, and he's like,
- 6:05Speaker 1: Wendy or Wendy and I said Wendy because like at
- 6:09Speaker 1: that time, I was like I didn't really like see
- 6:12Speaker 1: the difference. And he's like, how do you spell it?
- 6:14Speaker 1: I tell him He's like, that's Wendy, which really lit
- 6:18Speaker 1: a fire under my ass because I was like, don't
- 6:20Speaker 1: tell me how to pronounce my name before I punch
- 6:22Speaker 1: you in the face. Guys, I'm real hot today. Anyway,
- 6:25Speaker 1: I have always made an effort since then to say Wendy.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Maybe the Windy slips out now and again, I'm not
- 6:34Speaker 1: bothered by it. I'm never gonna correct somebody and be
- 6:37Speaker 1: like you, I nd ie you. First of all, my
- 6:41Speaker 1: maiden name is Williamson, and the fact that my parents'
- 6:44Speaker 1: name meet ww really, oh bothers you Wendy Williamson. Come on,
- 6:50Speaker 1: It's just it's too cute and Rymy My.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Maiden name is Barker, and my parents really love the
- 6:56Speaker 2: name Rebecca. And then they said Becky Barker a few
- 6:58Speaker 2: times and they realized that was not gonna fly.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Good on them. Yeah, moving on. Amy Louise Pemberton plays
- 7:05Speaker 1: Parker's sister, Emily, A true Emily. Amy Louise currently has
- 7:10Speaker 1: fifty one acting credits and was last on Hallmark in
- 7:12Speaker 1: the twenty twenty three movie A Pincheff Portugal. She will
- 7:15Speaker 1: appear in the fourth coming Scream seven.
- 7:18Speaker 2: WHOA, I did not realize we were seven deep in
- 7:20Speaker 2: the screen franchise. I guess there's money.
- 7:23Speaker 1: There's a lot of controversy over this one. I guess
- 7:25Speaker 1: because like the Jenna Ortega, who was in the last one,
- 7:29Speaker 1: like dipped out on this one, so like it was
- 7:32Speaker 1: like a lot of I think there's been production problems.
- 7:35Speaker 1: But yeah, seven, can you believe it?
- 7:37Speaker 2: Trey Warner appears as Boss Adam. Trey has thirteen acting
- 7:40Speaker 2: credits and this is his first role on Hallmark. Trey
- 7:43Speaker 2: real active over on Instagram this weekend, trying to drum
- 7:46Speaker 2: up on our Instagram, I know, all over the place,
- 7:49Speaker 2: trying to drum up some chatter about the movie.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Good for him.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Let's take a quick break and come right back with
- 7:55Speaker 2: our first impressions. Hey, Wendy, what is your first impression
- 8:05Speaker 2: of missing the boat?
- 8:07Speaker 1: This one really floated my boat. I just don't hate me.
- 8:14Speaker 1: I had to. That's the same of the movie. The
- 8:17Speaker 1: puns come on.
- 8:18Speaker 2: I can't wait to pull a snare drum beat, will you.
- 8:22Speaker 2: I'm gonna try.
- 8:23Speaker 1: I love it.
- 8:24Speaker 2: My first impression is this is a cautionary tale for
- 8:26Speaker 2: why you only book excursions directly through the cruise line.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Well, I know you have said that there are like
- 8:32Speaker 1: tons of tiktoks you can watch if people like boat
- 8:35Speaker 1: runners running for the boat. I've never come across one
- 8:40Speaker 1: of those in particular, like on TikTok. I'm going to
- 8:44Speaker 1: look for them. But when we went on our own cruise,
- 8:47Speaker 1: we didn't disembark at all. No to the SPA. It
- 8:50Speaker 1: wasn't oh yeah, that's right, we did. It wasn't that
- 8:52Speaker 1: we were like afraid of like missing, We just didn't.
- 8:56Speaker 1: I gotta admit I would probably be afraid of missing. Yeah,
- 9:00Speaker 1: it's nerve wrecking.
- 9:02Speaker 2: If you use a cruise sponsored excursion and something happens,
- 9:07Speaker 2: they will wait for you, gotcha, or in some extreme circumstances,
- 9:11Speaker 2: provide transportation if something significantly.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Yeah, because something like anything could happen.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Yeah, But.
- 9:19Speaker 1: If you don't, you're on your own.
- 9:21Speaker 2: And so this is why they tell you not to
- 9:23Speaker 2: do that, because if something happens, if your tour bus
- 9:26Speaker 2: breaks down or your donkey runs away, you are out
- 9:28Speaker 2: of luck and they're not waiting they got things to.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Do tonking, guys. That was my favorite scene in this
- 9:34Speaker 1: whole entire movie. Okay, let's talk about it.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Well, I think we have slightly different takes on this
- 9:40Speaker 2: movie in the same vein wrong Okay, Well, I was
- 9:44Speaker 2: blown away by this movie.
- 9:46Speaker 1: I'm just gonna say it right there. Oh nice? Okay? Uh?
- 9:50Speaker 1: I wait? In which way?
- 9:52Speaker 2: I think Palaha and all are firing on all cylinders.
- 9:56Speaker 2: They are acting with everything in them.
- 10:00Speaker 1: They left everything on the screen. I agree.
- 10:03Speaker 2: There are some scenes that stand out to me, if
- 10:06Speaker 2: I may share them, please, when Christopher Palaja comes out
- 10:10Speaker 2: of his chair, when the character of Kelly proclaims that
- 10:13Speaker 2: she's never seen Star Wars. It's so great, what it's amazing,
- 10:19Speaker 2: the best, and I appreciated the repeated Star Wars Godfather
- 10:22Speaker 2: callbacks throughout the movie.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Nicely done. Let me stop you there. Have you seen
- 10:27Speaker 1: Star Wars? I know you have her? Yeah, have you?
- 10:30Speaker 1: I've seen the first one, like as a child, the
- 10:32Speaker 1: first one, the first I know there's like prequels, but
- 10:36Speaker 1: like the one that came out when we were kids.
- 10:38Speaker 1: There's three that came out when we were kids. The
- 10:40Speaker 1: first one of the three, okay, came Out, not Return
- 10:43Speaker 1: of the Jedi or Empire Strikes Back or whatever. Yeah,
- 10:47Speaker 1: like very first one. I've seen that one, m but
- 10:51Speaker 1: not as an adult. Then I have seen the one
- 10:54Speaker 1: like with the introduction of like Ray and Kylo Rinn.
- 10:57Speaker 1: I think that might be the same movie. What are
- 11:00Speaker 1: you talking about?
- 11:01Speaker 2: That's like movie seven. What do you mean you think
- 11:03Speaker 2: it's the same movie. I've seen Kyler Ray and Kyler
- 11:05Speaker 2: Ren in the same movie. Yes, okay, I've seen that one.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Huh. I think that's it.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Okay, I've seen Unfortunately all of them. Star Wars doesn't
- 11:13Speaker 2: do it for me. Send your emails hello at Girls
- 11:15Speaker 2: Gone Homemark dot com. I mean they're fine. I have
- 11:18Speaker 2: Star Wars fans in my house. So yeah, I've seen
- 11:21Speaker 2: I don't know nine ten how many are there, because
- 11:23Speaker 2: there's like Offshoots Solow, which is the Han solo movie,
- 11:27Speaker 2: and then there's Rogue one.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Anyway, you and I discussed the incredible scene where Parker
- 11:36Speaker 2: is on the phone with his boss Adam and he's stretching.
- 11:39Speaker 1: So many stretching scenes in this movie. And I don't
- 11:43Speaker 1: know if if you don't have like a sore back
- 11:46Speaker 1: like I do, and I know Megan does. We have
- 11:50Speaker 1: both gone to physical therapy for you know, women of
- 11:53Speaker 1: a certain age, people of a certain age with lower
- 11:56Speaker 1: back issues would recognize that figure four stretch the cat cow. Okay.
- 12:02Speaker 2: I just was like someone whether it's Chris or someone
- 12:06Speaker 2: on this production staff, knew what they were talking about.
- 12:10Speaker 2: They weren't just like those are back specific stretches. And
- 12:13Speaker 2: I need to tell you my husband recently threw out
- 12:15Speaker 2: his back and he went to physical therapy and he's
- 12:17Speaker 2: been very diligent doing his stretches and he does them
- 12:20Speaker 2: when he gets into bed at night, and he does
- 12:23Speaker 2: one where he lays on his side and he like
- 12:26Speaker 2: extends his arm all the way back in that chestnut sure,
- 12:31Speaker 2: and I rage because we have a large bed, but
- 12:38Speaker 2: he's six foot three, so he has a six foot
- 12:40Speaker 2: three wingspan, so his hand for twenty reps on each
- 12:45Speaker 2: side is coming into my space and I I'm like,
- 12:50Speaker 2: I'm trying to wind down, and it's just this like
- 12:53Speaker 2: whiff of air that's like like I got let me
- 12:58Speaker 2: know when you're done, I'll be right back, like I'm
- 13:00Speaker 2: gonna go floss again or something. So anyway, it was
- 13:04Speaker 2: a visceral moment For me, I laughed. Also, I burst
- 13:10Speaker 2: out laughing when it cuts to Parker in the helmet
- 13:14Speaker 2: and goggles on the vespa and she's like, we can't
- 13:18Speaker 2: do this, and he goes, why do I look dumb?
- 13:19Speaker 1: The cut is incredible.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Shout out to director McLean Nelson and Paulah has deadpan delivery.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Of it so so good. Yeah, I agree. There are
- 13:29Speaker 1: so many funny parts, like if this movie fully committed
- 13:33Speaker 1: to the comedy, like we get rom Calms, but this
- 13:38Speaker 1: felt like full comedy with a whiff of I usually
- 13:43Speaker 1: laugh out loud at Homewark movies. I laughed out loud.
- 13:46Speaker 1: You know what is funny too, is that it was
- 13:50Speaker 1: and we've kind of touched on it already, but it
- 13:52Speaker 1: wasn't just like situational humor, like it was dialogue driven,
- 13:57Speaker 1: but like joke dits right. And I know McClain nelson
- 14:04Speaker 1: wrote this with Judithandra Yeah, two other writers. But if
- 14:08Speaker 1: you go back to the Halloween, same vibes there, Yeah,
- 14:13Speaker 1: same funny dense jokes. Is that right, dnse joke it is?
- 14:19Speaker 2: Yes, absolutely, I've got the laptop withdrawals and he does
- 14:26Speaker 2: it with his binkers like that's so relatable. It is
- 14:30Speaker 2: so relatable. Whenever Wendy and I got to town. By
- 14:34Speaker 2: the end of the trip, we're texting s were like,
- 14:35Speaker 2: I just want to get back to work.
- 14:39Speaker 1: So much fun.
- 14:40Speaker 2: I have so many ideas I just can't wait to execute.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Forget fun, that's fun. I love the train scenes and
- 14:49Speaker 1: he's trying to get comfortable and like Chris is obviously
- 14:53Speaker 1: a big man, and like you're in this middle seat
- 14:55Speaker 1: and it's so there's so much physical comedy and we
- 15:00Speaker 1: never see pala hot like like.
- 15:02Speaker 2: This, so they let him be romantic, but they just
- 15:05Speaker 2: let him loose in this one, and I love it.
- 15:07Speaker 2: And I wondered, I was like, whose choice was this?
- 15:10Speaker 1: Was this director choice telling him like really want you
- 15:14Speaker 1: to lean into the to the funny or was this
- 15:17Speaker 1: Polahas choice of like, Okay, Parker's a little bit buttoned
- 15:21Speaker 1: up at the but still like quite literally, quite literally,
- 15:25Speaker 1: but still like a funny guy, like he leans. I mean,
- 15:28Speaker 1: I know it's dad jokes too, but it wasn't like cringy.
- 15:31Speaker 1: It worked. My point is I like, I wonder who decided,
- 15:34Speaker 1: Like this is how this this character of Parker. And
- 15:38Speaker 1: then there are moments where Chris just gets back into
- 15:44Speaker 1: the pocket that we're familiar with, where he gets kind
- 15:46Speaker 1: of like that low gravelly like Chris Palaha energy when
- 15:53Speaker 1: he when they're at that lunch and he's telling her
- 15:56Speaker 1: about how he's divorced, Like he just gets into that.
- 16:00Speaker 1: And I was like, well, there's there's very you know,
- 16:03Speaker 1: But I also like this funny guy too. Yeah, so
- 16:07Speaker 1: very well rounded. Enjoyed his character and h the execution
- 16:12Speaker 1: of his character as Parker, Like I thought it was
- 16:14Speaker 1: really great. I agree with you. If I could talk
- 16:17Speaker 1: about funny scenes that I really liked, I mentioned that
- 16:19Speaker 1: the donkey scene I thought was really funny. First of all,
- 16:22Speaker 1: are donkeys attracted to carrots? Like that? Would they? Would
- 16:26Speaker 1: they walk forward like that?
- 16:28Speaker 2: Well, I mean that's I kind of felt like it
- 16:29Speaker 2: was a joke. But also I was like, how sad
- 16:32Speaker 2: that donkey never gets that carrot?
- 16:34Speaker 1: It is sad, You're right, But when he when he
- 16:39Speaker 1: like he's Chris's character, Parker is so excited, like he's
- 16:44Speaker 1: tying the donkeys up. He's like really excited to go
- 16:47Speaker 1: with Kelly to see the waterfall. Like I love that
- 16:50Speaker 1: they were like both very both very like hyped on
- 16:53Speaker 1: these on these things. It wasn't like one is kind
- 16:56Speaker 1: of like a cromogion and oh yeah, but he's all
- 16:59Speaker 1: excited and they turned around, the donkeys are gone, and
- 17:01Speaker 1: then they start busting ass up this hill to go
- 17:04Speaker 1: chase it, and his half lies off, and I just wondered, like,
- 17:07Speaker 1: did that just happen? Like his half because he's and
- 17:10Speaker 1: they like impropped it a little bit, like my hat,
- 17:14Speaker 1: and she says.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Like, leave it.
- 17:15Speaker 1: It just was so funny and he's grabbing us back,
- 17:17Speaker 1: and I'm like, ew, I thought it was so funny.
- 17:21Speaker 1: And you guys know how I hate hygiens and this
- 17:24Speaker 1: it doesn't play like that at all at all. It
- 17:27Speaker 1: was true like I am watching a comedy. Loved it,
- 17:32Speaker 1: loved it. Let's talk chemistry between these two. Yeah, they
- 17:36Speaker 1: have been in a movie together many many, many years ago.
- 17:39Speaker 1: We didn't like talk about that at up top, but
- 17:42Speaker 1: I thought they were super dynamic together. Me too, felt
- 17:47Speaker 1: very believable if these people had met each other, you know,
- 17:51Speaker 1: they they clicked around away. They when she meets like
- 17:54Speaker 1: his sister in the restaurant at the beginning, and she's like,
- 17:57Speaker 1: somebody's kind of an odd bird, and I was like,
- 17:59Speaker 1: that's my brother, guys, I'm dying. Yeah. I also need
- 18:04Speaker 1: to talk about how great I thought Amy Louise Pemberton
- 18:09Speaker 1: was as Emily. She was so funny too, so funny.
- 18:13Speaker 1: And even the boss Adam, who could have come off
- 18:17Speaker 1: as like super toxic blowhard, yes that he was real
- 18:20Speaker 1: funny too, everybody.
- 18:22Speaker 2: I liked that relationship a lot between Emily and Adam.
- 18:25Speaker 2: I thought that they brought a lot of humor. But
- 18:28Speaker 2: I also liked that they allowed Emily to push him
- 18:30Speaker 2: to be a better human and a better boy. Yeah,
- 18:33Speaker 2: and he makes That's what I commented on Instagram. He's like,
- 18:35Speaker 2: hope you like Adam, and I was like, great redemption
- 18:38Speaker 2: arc for that character. Yeah, he has a line where
- 18:41Speaker 2: he says, I let opportunity get in the way of honor.
- 18:44Speaker 2: I loved that we're so deep from Adam. We mentioned
- 18:48Speaker 2: this a little bit about being buttoned up. I think
- 18:52Speaker 2: the visuals are doing a lot in this movie. I
- 18:55Speaker 2: noticed it Kelly's hair goes from straight to curly, like
- 18:58Speaker 2: when she gets into vacation mode, and then it stays
- 19:01Speaker 2: that way, and that's I loved that. I was like, Oh,
- 19:04Speaker 2: it's a little freer, a little more fun and then
- 19:06Speaker 2: I feel like my favorite look for Chris was the
- 19:10Speaker 2: outfit that Kelly buys for him in the hotel and
- 19:12Speaker 2: he comes out and I'm like, oh, he looks like
- 19:14Speaker 2: he's in vacation. No, it still looks professional professional, Yeah,
- 19:18Speaker 2: but like the shirts on tugs and it's a little
- 19:21Speaker 2: I just I thought the.
- 19:23Speaker 1: I thought the visuals were doing a lot here. I
- 19:25Speaker 1: think so too. Can we talk about the visuals of
- 19:28Speaker 1: where they shot this? Oh my gosh, can we go
- 19:31Speaker 1: there please? Yeah? And what cruise line is this? Because
- 19:34Speaker 1: that cruse ship was gorgeous. Oh my god, I think
- 19:37Speaker 1: it's in my digit see that. But her room was
- 19:39Speaker 1: huge mine too. I thought her company really sprung for
- 19:45Speaker 1: the big digs. Tell me what, what was her job exactly?
- 19:50Speaker 1: I don't know. She was trying to decide if this
- 19:52Speaker 1: was a a good business acquisition. Yeah, I was confused.
- 19:59Speaker 1: I I thought like she was like a travel writer
- 20:02Speaker 1: at first.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Well, they couldn't call her the secret shopper, So I
- 20:04Speaker 2: think the idea was like she was going to write
- 20:06Speaker 2: the review of this cruise line and if the review
- 20:08Speaker 2: wasn't good, then the investors would pull out.
- 20:11Speaker 1: It was a little confusing. Did you like the scene
- 20:14Speaker 1: where there's a train strike she gets all norma ray
- 20:18Speaker 1: up on. Yeah, it was fun.
- 20:23Speaker 2: I liked it.
- 20:23Speaker 1: I liked it. I was like, Okay, a little far fretched,
- 20:27Speaker 1: but whatever. Like I was just rolling with it too.
- 20:30Speaker 1: I was just I thought it was it was very funny,
- 20:33Speaker 1: very funny.
- 20:34Speaker 2: I have one last like and it's I just thought
- 20:36Speaker 2: they did an absolutely adorable travel montage of Parker and
- 20:40Speaker 2: Emily and Kelly at their first cruise stop.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Yes, the fun picture through was so fun. Do you
- 20:48Speaker 1: have any wishes? I have two? Okay, baby baby wishes.
- 20:53Speaker 1: There's a couple of little like leaps that you're trying
- 20:58Speaker 1: to make me believe she loses her job. But then
- 21:01Speaker 1: like it's like all that at the end happens very quick.
- 21:05Speaker 1: It'll work together everything one of them. I mean, that's
- 21:07Speaker 1: like what big happy that is one Hallmark Bow put
- 21:10Speaker 1: it on it and send it. You know. It doesn't
- 21:14Speaker 1: negate the movie at all to me. The green screen
- 21:17Speaker 1: Waterfall truly rough.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Yeah, it's in my digit see that. I don't really
- 21:21Speaker 2: know how to I just wrote there's something so odd
- 21:23Speaker 2: about that waterfall one.
- 21:26Speaker 1: I'm like, they were in a beautiful like lo cow
- 21:30Speaker 1: maybe it's not a waterfall. Maybe they're seeing something else,
- 21:33Speaker 1: you know, maybe there is a waterfall there. There has
- 21:35Speaker 1: to be.
- 21:36Speaker 2: It doesn't make sense. But I was like, why is
- 21:38Speaker 2: that this weird waterfall in the desert way? Where's the
- 21:43Speaker 2: waterfall coming from?
- 21:44Speaker 1: It didn't It was odd to me. The whole thing
- 21:45Speaker 1: was it was like fake right, Well I think so,
- 21:48Speaker 1: but I don't know. It just looked weird. It looked weird.
- 21:52Speaker 1: I just don't know why. Like movies, movies, Hallmark movies
- 21:56Speaker 1: and water in particular.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Are I don't get it together. So my only wish, Look,
- 22:06Speaker 2: it wouldn't make sense for the story. But as soon
- 22:08Speaker 2: as Parker's boss is like you got to delay her,
- 22:10Speaker 2: I'm like, Parker, you have the opportunity to do the
- 22:12Speaker 2: right thing here and just be like, look, I'm gonna
- 22:14Speaker 2: be fully upfront with you, like this is my boss
- 22:16Speaker 2: asked me to do. I'm not doing that, like we're
- 22:18Speaker 2: trying to.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Get you back. And his actions spoke to that.
- 22:22Speaker 2: When he sends her ahead to the airport, she had
- 22:24Speaker 2: the opportunity to make it back in time. But and
- 22:27Speaker 2: I again, there's like no conflict without it. But it
- 22:30Speaker 2: is the predictable conflict. Yeah, as soon as he says that,
- 22:34Speaker 2: I'm like, well, that's gonna come out that he was
- 22:35Speaker 2: told to do that, And.
- 22:38Speaker 1: I've never loved that. That's all that's tuck. Did you
- 22:41Speaker 1: see that? My number one is largest cruise room ever? Indeed,
- 22:45Speaker 1: indeed we've talked about it about it, the running gag
- 22:48Speaker 1: about his back hurting, we have already talked about it.
- 22:51Speaker 1: But like even like where he like crouches down to
- 22:54Speaker 1: lay down on the cement, She's like, okay, we're doing
- 22:56Speaker 1: that here. I loved it. I loved it. Lines that
- 23:00Speaker 1: just absolutely fry to me. You already talked about I'm
- 23:03Speaker 1: having laptop withdraws. Don't go analog on me. We've been
- 23:07Speaker 1: talking a lot about being more analog and twenty twenty six.
- 23:11Speaker 1: I just thought that was a really funny rest see
- 23:13Speaker 1: dad humor I really liked And at one time he's
- 23:17Speaker 1: having a Parker's having a conversation with his sister on
- 23:19Speaker 1: the phone and he's like, struggles of a beautiful mind.
- 23:22Speaker 1: I just thought it was really funny, really really funny.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Those are my only I didn't even have any like
- 23:28Speaker 1: terrible did you see that's? Well?
- 23:30Speaker 2: My big digity, that was what the heck is up
- 23:32Speaker 2: with the waterfall? I still don't fully understand what was
- 23:34Speaker 2: going on there. My next you did you see? That's
- 23:36Speaker 2: our courtesy of listeners from Instagram follower Maggie. She says,
- 23:40Speaker 2: h parker sister Emily is using a very old cell phone.
- 23:43Speaker 2: She says, it's the kind of iPhone that still has
- 23:45Speaker 2: like the white stripe and a button along the bottom
- 23:47Speaker 2: of it. She's like, what's up with that props department?
- 23:50Speaker 1: A button on the bottom? Yeah, well, what was the
- 23:53Speaker 1: button on the bottom for? I remember button? Remember the
- 23:55Speaker 1: oh that button?
- 23:57Speaker 2: Oh?
- 23:57Speaker 1: Yeah? Interesting.
- 24:00Speaker 2: We also from listener Diane emailed us. I love Diane's email.
- 24:03Speaker 2: It says, I knew I was all in with your podcast,
- 24:05Speaker 2: but as soon as the clothes were different between the
- 24:08Speaker 2: lunch and the horseback ride to the waterfall, I thought,
- 24:11Speaker 2: that's did you see that? Even went back to make sure.
- 24:15Speaker 2: So I also went back to look, and it is true.
- 24:18Speaker 2: They are at lunch and then she convinces him to
- 24:20Speaker 2: join her on her waterfall expedition and they are in
- 24:24Speaker 2: different clothes. She's wearing a dress at lunch. Of course,
- 24:26Speaker 2: it makes sense, but when would they have changed. They'd
- 24:29Speaker 2: have to get back on the boat. Obviously they didn't.
- 24:31Speaker 2: They're in more donkey riding appropriate clothing. Nice catch, Diane, Yes,
- 24:37Speaker 2: when'd you write missing the Boat?
- 24:38Speaker 1: I gave it four point seven five stars. Look, I
- 24:40Speaker 1: gave it five stars. It was a hey start to finish.
