- 1:51SPEAKER_03: The SCOTUS is getting uh back underway.
- 1:54SPEAKER_03: So we're gonna talk a little bit about that.
- 1:56SPEAKER_03: We'll talk a little polling.
- 1:58SPEAKER_03: Of course, the midterm elections coming up in just a handful of weeks, closing in anonymously, no doubt.
- 2:04SPEAKER_03: Ryan Wilson, Lieutenant Governor candidate, will be joining us coming up at uh 7.30.
- 2:09SPEAKER_03: We'll get into some of the major news uh of the uh of the weekend.
- 2:13SPEAKER_03: Uh and especially, and specifically that shooting that took place uh in Eden Prairie, uh Somali gang related.
- 2:20SPEAKER_03: I know this because that's what law enforcement said.
- 2:23SPEAKER_03: So we'll talk about that coming up a little bit this hour.
- 2:25SPEAKER_03: We're gonna get into it heavily in the 7 o'clock hour, into the 8 o'clock hour as well.
- 2:29SPEAKER_03: And yes, inquiring minds uh want to know regarding um Amy Klobishar, uh the Somali rally, the upside-down flag.
- 2:38SPEAKER_03: Yes, I have words to say.
- 2:39SPEAKER_03: This is a much older video, by the way, just for those that are aware.
- 2:42SPEAKER_03: This goes back to 2017.
- 2:43SPEAKER_03: So we'll give you details on this uh coming up.
- 2:46SPEAKER_03: Uh, my thoughts on the whole flag flap uh issue.
- 2:49SPEAKER_03: It's not necessarily a new controversy.
- 2:52SPEAKER_03: We've kind of been around the block on this already.
- 2:54SPEAKER_03: It's had a resurgence online.
- 2:56SPEAKER_03: So I know for a lot of people, if it's new to you, it's an issue.
- 3:01SPEAKER_03: And I'm not saying it's not an issue.
- 3:03SPEAKER_03: Uh I think my take on it is probably different than a lot of people's take on it currently.
- 3:10SPEAKER_03: So we will get into it.
- 3:12SPEAKER_03: So do not worry.
- 3:12SPEAKER_03: It is part of the uh agenda today.
- 3:14SPEAKER_03: We got a lot of ground to cover.
- 3:16SPEAKER_03: Was a very busy weekend.
- 3:17SPEAKER_03: I had a great weekend.
- 3:19SPEAKER_03: Vikings won again.
- 3:20SPEAKER_03: Good morning, uh, producer uh Devin.
- 3:22SPEAKER_03: Good morning.
- 3:23SPEAKER_03: Um, so Vikings are right.
- 3:26SPEAKER_03: Uh they're they what are we we're three and oh?
- 3:29SPEAKER_03: Four or no.
- 3:30SPEAKER_03: Four or four or no?
- 3:31SPEAKER_03: Four or no.
- 3:32SPEAKER_03: Give us some respect.
- 3:33SPEAKER_03: Uh sorry, four or no.
- 3:34SPEAKER_03: You're right.
- 3:35SPEAKER_03: Um, here's my fear though.
- 3:37SPEAKER_03: Um there is we're four or no for now, but there is a devastating loss out there that's looming.
- 3:44SPEAKER_03: I don't know against who.
- 3:48SPEAKER_03: I could not point to to any particular team.
- 3:51SPEAKER_03: I don't even know what their schedule is coming up.
- 3:53SPEAKER_03: All that I know is that we're 4-0, but based on the performance of the offense and what little I know about football, there is a devastating loss just out there waiting to happen.
- 4:04SPEAKER_03: We just haven't arrived there yet.
- 4:06SPEAKER_02: Would you would would you agree with my assessment?
- 4:08SPEAKER_02: I would certainly agree.
- 4:09SPEAKER_02: It feels like we're an average team at best right now.
- 4:15SPEAKER_03: That's a very good point.
- 4:16SPEAKER_03: I'm very proud of my commentary.
- 4:17SPEAKER_03: Maybe you can talk with a former boss man Chad.
- 4:19SPEAKER_03: Maybe iHeart wants to bring me back and I can go over on uh on KFAN, perhaps, with this, with this winning, biting, and informative, not very educational, however, just more on my gut instinct.
- 4:30SPEAKER_03: Um, a commentary on Vikings football.
- 4:32SPEAKER_03: It is nice to see them 4-0.
- 4:34SPEAKER_03: I will say that.
- 4:35SPEAKER_03: There were moments where I thought Kyler Murray was was was stepping up his game and doing okay.
- 4:40SPEAKER_03: It's just it's the it's the parts where he wasn't that has me more concerned.
- 4:44SPEAKER_03: So I'm glad I'm not alone in that.
- 4:46SPEAKER_03: Uh gophers, though, did beat Michigan uh 20 to 14.
- 4:49SPEAKER_03: Uh they won the little brown jug for the first time since uh 2014.
- 4:53SPEAKER_03: I and you have to forgive me.
- 4:55SPEAKER_03: I have been here over 10 years.
- 4:57SPEAKER_03: This is the first time I've ever heard of any jug, be it brown or little, regarding college football.
- 5:03SPEAKER_03: Are you familiar with the little brown jug?
- 5:04SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 5:05SPEAKER_03: Okay, so okay, so what is the deal with the little brown jug?
- 5:07SPEAKER_02: Um, it's the rivalry trophy between Minnesota and Michigan.
- 5:12SPEAKER_02: So they play for it every year.
- 5:13SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 5:14SPEAKER_02: So it has some bigger history than that.
- 5:16SPEAKER_02: Gotcha.
- 5:17SPEAKER_02: All right, okay.
- 5:17SPEAKER_02: So that that makes now that's all I need to do.
- 5:19SPEAKER_02: In your defense, Minnesota hasn't won it since you've been here.
- 5:22SPEAKER_02: So oh, okay.
- 5:23SPEAKER_03: Oh, well, no, thank you.
- 5:24SPEAKER_03: That makes me feel so much better about me.
- 5:26unknown: Yeah.
- 5:26SPEAKER_03: This is why, this is why Devin's here to make me feel better about me.
- 5:31SPEAKER_03: So thank you for that.
- 5:32SPEAKER_03: All right, well, that makes sense then.
- 5:33SPEAKER_03: I don't feel so bad.
- 5:34SPEAKER_03: I was a little reluctant to plead my ignorance regarding the little brown jug, but there you go.
- 5:39SPEAKER_03: I saw a photo online.
- 5:40SPEAKER_03: At first I thought it was some sort of joke.
- 5:42SPEAKER_03: I was like, is this real?
- 5:44SPEAKER_03: I'm not sure.
- 5:45SPEAKER_03: All right, so let's dive into I want to get you uh up to speed on some of the stories, the bigger stories from last week, as we do every Monday.
- 5:51SPEAKER_03: We'll uh check in with Liz uh Collin with the uh Alpha News uh weekly roundup.
- 5:56SPEAKER_03: So you kind of get you caught up to speed from last week.
- 5:58SPEAKER_03: Let me get you to where we are right now with a handful of stories.
- 6:03SPEAKER_03: So again, we'll talk in more detail uh about this particular issue coming up uh next hour.
- 6:09SPEAKER_03: But uh two people shot outside Eden Prairie High School homecoming football game.
- 6:13SPEAKER_03: Uh police now say the shooting was gang related.
- 6:17SPEAKER_03: And listen, it was Somali gang related, which makes this clip from Scary Moriarty um having aged like Milk sitting out in the sun.
- 6:27SPEAKER_35: There are no roving gangs of Somali people in this community harassing, threatening, doing anything to any of our community members.
- 6:37SPEAKER_03: And let me Yeah, you're a you're a liar.
- 6:40SPEAKER_03: The victims were uh sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
- 6:44SPEAKER_03: Authorities uh have uh are continuing their investigation.
- 6:47SPEAKER_03: The homecoming game is scheduled to resume uh tonight, uh, which gives sort of an interesting angle on all of this.
- 6:54SPEAKER_03: Is you know, how is the community going to go and deal with this moving forward?
- 6:58SPEAKER_03: We need to have the right conversations.
- 7:01SPEAKER_03: We need to talk about the issue of Somali gangs, just like we have to talk about the and have been talking about the issues of Somali-led fraud.
- 7:10SPEAKER_03: These are problems.
- 7:12SPEAKER_03: And there's a number of different, various angles and depths to this very specific problem coming from one very specific community.
- 7:21SPEAKER_03: And there is nothing racist by pointing that out.
- 7:25SPEAKER_03: It's funny, there is, I have coverage next hour of how community leaders are apparently getting together to talk about this.
- 7:34SPEAKER_03: These are um a lot of these are Somali-aligned organizations, but they talk about how they're concerned.
- 7:40SPEAKER_03: They want to talk to the community, they want to get a grip on this, and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 7:43SPEAKER_03: And then they mention, well, we don't want to politicize this.
- 7:46SPEAKER_03: That politicization cuts both ways.
- 7:50SPEAKER_03: You know, a lot of people will read that and go, well, you know what, the Republicans, conservatives are out there talking about the Somali angle of this whole thing, and that's not right.
- 7:59SPEAKER_03: Well, that also cuts the other way.
- 8:01SPEAKER_03: Those that are out there immediately jumping to the argument of Republicans pounce and men and mentioning, because law enforcement mentioned it specifically, despite what Scary Moriarty says.
- 8:12SPEAKER_35: Let me repeat that again because I've heard this often.
- 8:15SPEAKER_35: There are no woving gangs of Somalis targeting or harassing or doing anything inappropriate to any community members.
- 8:24SPEAKER_35: Those are simply lies.
- 8:25SPEAKER_35: It is not true.
- 8:27SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 8:28SPEAKER_03: Uh until they arrive at a football game between Eden Prairie and Minnetonka and end up getting into a rumble and shooting shooting people until that happens.
- 8:39SPEAKER_03: But in terms of the don't politicize it, no, it's been politicized.
- 8:42SPEAKER_03: There's no way to not politicize this.
- 8:45SPEAKER_03: And that call to the community, again, speaks as much as it does to conservatives pointing to the facts, but in my opinion, more so to those on the left that are jumping on board the well, you know, you can't say that it was Somali anything or that's just racist, or defaulting to any complaints pointing to it being racist.
- 9:07SPEAKER_03: The fact that this was Somali gang activity.
- 9:11SPEAKER_03: You know, maybe we shouldn't be you know working out um, you know, issues of potential rumbles taking place at state fairs where we come to you know legal agreements with these individuals to legitimize their gang activity.
- 9:25SPEAKER_03: And maybe that would be a start.
- 9:28SPEAKER_03: So look at we'll get into more of this coming up uh next hour on the show.
- 9:32SPEAKER_03: We will take your comments via the blaster line, voice or text message 651-964-0294.
- 9:39SPEAKER_03: Also, next hour, and as we had from a few individuals who already left comments today, there is a 2017 video of Amy Klobishar at a Somali community event.
- 9:49SPEAKER_03: This is all resurfaced.
- 9:50SPEAKER_03: I have a story actually going back to August from Alpha News that I'll be referencing last hour that was talking about this particular resurfaced video.
- 9:59SPEAKER_03: The footage uh shows her speaking about remittances to Somalia.
- 10:04SPEAKER_03: It also shows uh shows her holding what appears to be an upside down uh American flag.
- 10:09SPEAKER_03: The specific flag issue became a major uh social media story over the weekend, although the original 27 event had already been previously uh reported.
- 10:20SPEAKER_03: And so for those that are watching on the live stream, you can see the screen grab from when she grabbed the American flag on the stick that's being held upside down.
- 10:28SPEAKER_03: Um I I won't hold off on letting you know my quick thoughts on this.
- 10:32SPEAKER_03: Again, this is kind of your your preview as we head into the rest of the show and talk about this in more detail coming up after after 7 o'clock.
- 10:40SPEAKER_03: Um, you know, in the absence of knowing whether Amy Klobuchar was or wasn't aware that there were American flags in the audience where the flag was upside down and then grabbing it and waving it, I I have a difficult time getting too worked up about the flag issue regarding the 2017 video.
- 11:03SPEAKER_03: I have other problems that I think are more important than the flag issue.
- 11:06SPEAKER_03: Now, of course, there is the question, and there were multiple ones.
- 11:09SPEAKER_03: If you watch the video, you can see in the crowd there are other individuals that are holding these flags.
- 11:15SPEAKER_03: Now, I I'm hard pressed to by the argument that some people have put forward that somebody mistakenly went and hung those flags accidentally upside down on the stick.
- 11:26SPEAKER_03: You know, Amy Clovershaw may not have even been aware or even noticed.
- 11:30SPEAKER_03: That wouldn't shock me at all.
- 11:31SPEAKER_03: When she grabbed it and waved it, it was funny.
- 11:33SPEAKER_03: She grabbed it, she waves it for a second and she immediately dismisses it almost as if she recognizes the fact that it was on the stick upside down, and then one of her handlers to the back on the stage grabs it and walks off the stage with it.
- 11:46SPEAKER_03: You know, I mean the bigger question regarding the flag is why was it in the audience in the in the first place?
- 11:51SPEAKER_03: But even beyond that, for me, the bigger importance is a rally itself in light of the issues that we're faced with.
- 11:59SPEAKER_03: Whether it's remittances going back to Somalia that are ending up in the hands of terrorists, as been reported by City uh journal, uh, whether it's the issue of the immigrant fraud, the lack of assimilation of too many individuals from the Somali uh community.
- 12:19SPEAKER_03: You know, those are the bigger issues relating to this.
- 12:22SPEAKER_03: There's also an interesting story in the um in the Star Tribune from over the weekend talking about Amy Klobuchar's rural Minnesota problem.
- 12:30SPEAKER_03: We'll get into the green line shooting, and we'll also dive into in the uh eight o'clock uh hour uh this morning uh how uh Minneapolis man baby mayor mom jeans uh Jacob Fry has gone and vetoed the rideshare uh ordinance.
- 12:49SPEAKER_03: So we got a lot of ground to cover today.
- 12:51SPEAKER_03: I want to get you up to speed on some of the stories that you might have missed from over the weekend here on the John Justice Show presented by American Experiment.
- 13:00SPEAKER_03: I want to remind you as well that you can leave a blast voice or text message, 651-964-0294.
- 13:07SPEAKER_03: Email john.justice at American Experiment.org.
- 13:10SPEAKER_03: And before we hear from uh Liz Collin, if you are carrying around any excess weight, I know that this may not be the time of year where you're thinking you want to go and try to lose the weight, but I'm gonna encourage you to do just that.
- 13:22SPEAKER_03: The amazing program at Neutrowade that turns on the fat burning, right?
- 13:27SPEAKER_03: It reignites uh your uh your energy.
- 13:30SPEAKER_03: This is the perfect opportunity to go and focus on your health, drop the weight within 40 days, and just think about it.
- 13:38SPEAKER_03: As you head into the holidays, you can be a brand new you heading to holiday parties, and you could have a completely different relationship with food.
- 13:48SPEAKER_03: You still get to eat the food that you want to eat, but you won't pack the pounds back on.
- 13:51SPEAKER_03: I've lost over 30 pounds on this amazing program.
- 13:54SPEAKER_03: You can still get an almost$300 value when it comes to neutral wave by simply making the phone call today and finding out the details about the program.
- 14:02SPEAKER_03: No obligation whatsoever.
- 14:04SPEAKER_03: Call 952-260-1965.
- 14:07SPEAKER_03: That's 952-260-1965.
- 14:10SPEAKER_03: Mention my name, John Justice, to get that almost$300 value.
- 14:15SPEAKER_03: No pills, no shots, just Neutral Wave.
- 14:18SPEAKER_03: Individual results may vary.
- 14:19SPEAKER_33: Here's a look at this week's top stories at Alpha News.
- 14:22SPEAKER_33: A new report from the Treasury Department shows Minnesota ranks number one per capita in subjects tied to reports of suspected health care fraud.
- 14:31SPEAKER_33: Nationwide, the report identified approximately$17.5 billion in suspicious activity potentially connected to the fraud.
- 14:38SPEAKER_33: Minnesota ranked fourth despite its much smaller population when the numbers were adjusted for population.
- 14:44SPEAKER_33: Minnesota jumped to number one in the nation.
- 14:48SPEAKER_33: The Department of Justice has indicted 10 foreign nationals for voter fraud in Minnesota.
- 14:54SPEAKER_33: One of the defendants is accused of illegally voting as recently as August in the primary.
- 14:59SPEAKER_33: Several of those charged are Liberian nationals, along with defendants from Bosnia, Brazil, and Ghana.
- 15:07SPEAKER_33: And on the podcast, a Minnesota mayor speaks on winning the battle for paper voter rolls and election integrity.
- 15:14SPEAKER_33: Weston Rolfe, the mayor of Oak Grove, spoke on how the city recently won a David v.
- 15:25SPEAKER_33: The Secretary of State's office stated that there is no deadline for when a municipality may choose to switch from electronic rosters to paper, but also encourage counties to connect with municipalities as soon as possible if they intend to make the switch.
- 15:40SPEAKER_33: For more Minnesota News and independent journalism, be sure to head to alphanews.org.
- 15:46SPEAKER_03: Selling your home is more than just putting a sign in the yard.
- 15:49SPEAKER_03: It's about making the right decisions before that sign ever goes up.
- 15:53SPEAKER_03: And that's the advisor advantage you get from Hallway North Real Estate Advisors when you talk to them about selling your home.
- 16:00SPEAKER_03: Instead of simply telling you what your home is worth and putting it on the market, Hallway North Real Estate Advisors help you maximize the value before it's listed.
- 16:10SPEAKER_03: Maybe there's a new remodeling project that makes sense or one that doesn't.
- 16:14SPEAKER_03: It's certainly worth giving them a call before you spend the money.
- 16:18SPEAKER_03: And when it's ready, they'll get it cleaned, staged, photographed, listed, and advocate for your best offer.
- 16:24SPEAKER_03: Hallway North Real Estate Advisors don't just sell your home.
- 16:27SPEAKER_03: They put you in the best position to get the most of the investment that you've already made.

- 16:35SPEAKER_03: Go to hallwayNorth.com to schedule your free one-on-one in-home consultation to see how you can get the most equity for your home.
- 16:43SPEAKER_03: That's hallwaynorth.com.
- 16:46SPEAKER_03: Hallway North Real Estate Advisors.
- 16:48SPEAKER_03: They're more than just realtors, they're your personal advisors, brokered by Bridge Realty.
- 16:54SPEAKER_49: Hi, I'm Joe Scott, and I'm the only conservative on the Eastern Carver County Schools board.
- 17:00SPEAKER_49: I'm also the only incumbent who supports balanced budgets, key performance indicators in our superintendent's contract, and counting everyone's vote every time in school board elections.
- 17:13SPEAKER_49: Our enrollment has been declining since 2018, and we lose 1,300 of our resident students each year to neighboring districts.
- 17:23SPEAKER_49: I have solutions, but the majority of the school board and administration are stuck in the status quo.
- 17:30SPEAKER_49: You can vote as early as Friday, September 18th, and I'd appreciate your support.
- 17:36SPEAKER_49: To learn more about me and how I stand on other school board issues, visit reelectjoescott.com.
- 17:43SPEAKER_49: If you'd like to see our school district's Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment Proficiency Scores, go to ECCSMCA scores.com.
- 17:56SPEAKER_03: If a woman finds out she is pregnant and feels scared and alone, Alpha Women's Center offers her help and hope to choose life.
- 18:04SPEAKER_03: Alpha Women's Center is a pro-life Christian mobile clinic that serves women like Tita, who left her abortion appointment and chose life for her twins after seeing her ultrasound.
- 18:14SPEAKER_03: With free counseling, diapers, and resources, she's continuing her education and building a stronger family.
- 18:21SPEAKER_03: Alpha Women's Center is donor supported and serves five Twin Cities locations, including outside abortion clinics.
- 18:28SPEAKER_03: For more information, go to MiracleMachineMN.com.
- 18:32SPEAKER_03: That's MiracleMachineMN.com.
- 18:39SPEAKER_03: It's the John Justice show presented by American Experiment.
- 18:43SPEAKER_03: There's a comment, actually a couple comments, that rolled in to the blaster line.
- 18:46SPEAKER_03: 651-964-0294.
- 18:50SPEAKER_03: Somebody wrote, uh I know how to solve this Somali problem, and it comes from the Somali people.
- 18:56SPEAKER_03: The silent majority need to stand up and condemn this very loudly.
- 19:00SPEAKER_03: You know, and that's the unfortunate aspect of the criticism that I was mentioning a moment ago, is that those on the left want to silence anybody who wants to bring out the facts of the situation, the problems within the community that we'll talk about further that are coming from the community.
- 19:16SPEAKER_03: I have some amazing commentary coming from an individual who serves in office in Somalia looking at the situation here in Minnesota, but laying out the background of Somali families, what happens with the with the father.
- 19:37SPEAKER_03: And the fact that media, local media, doesn't treat these instances of violence on our school campuses equally tells you all you need to know about the political angle and how when it comes to this type of gang violence, the capitulation taking place when it comes to the attorney general's office, law enforcement regarding cutting deals for not fighting at the state fair.
- 20:05SPEAKER_03: Yes, I know the outcome was positive, but there is a level of legitimacy that's being given to these gangs.
- 20:11SPEAKER_03: The fact you have Scary Moriarty out there saying that it's just not even happening.
- 20:14SPEAKER_03: It's all keeping us from once again having the right conversations to go and tackle this problem.
- 20:20SPEAKER_03: It's a very complicated uh issue, but it's not an unsolvable issue.
- 20:25SPEAKER_03: Also had a comment that rolled in regarding the uh the little brown jug.
- 20:30SPEAKER_03: Allegedly, it started a hundred years ago when Michigan forgot their water jug and the gophers said if you want it back, beat us on the field next year, and then it and then it spiraled from there.
- 20:39SPEAKER_03: Devin, were you already aware?
- 20:41SPEAKER_03: Yes, that is true.
- 20:42SPEAKER_02: Okay, you were you were you were already aware of this.
- 20:44SPEAKER_02: Football before World War I was fun.
- 20:47SPEAKER_02: Okay, gotcha.
- 20:48SPEAKER_02: All right, we'll say there's a little bit, again, a little bit, a little bit of background there.
- 20:51SPEAKER_03: So thank you for that.
- 20:52SPEAKER_03: Uh all right, uh let's go back to the uh blaster line, 651-964-0294.
- 20:59SPEAKER_15: Good morning.
- 21:00SPEAKER_15: This is Rich Nice Baseball.
- 21:01SPEAKER_15: Hey Richard Concerning Amy with the uh upside-down American flag.
- 21:06SPEAKER_15: I kind of agree with that.
- 21:07SPEAKER_15: It's typically a sign of uh distress.
- 21:10SPEAKER_15: And our country is in distress due to the invasion that was allowed under the Biden administration.
- 21:18SPEAKER_15: Or there's always the possibility they were assembled by Learing Center graduates.
- 21:25SPEAKER_15: Y'all have a great day.
- 21:27SPEAKER_03: Uh listen, I I I appreciate and I understand the the joke aspect of it.
- 21:31SPEAKER_03: Just to be clear, this goes back to 2017, where this uh rally had taken place, where um Amy Klobishar was champ was a champion of the remittances and helping the Somali community.
- 21:44SPEAKER_03: So it's not quite relevant to what we're dealing with in terms of the last couple of presidential administrations.
- 21:49SPEAKER_03: You might have been aware of that in light of the of the joke.
- 21:53SPEAKER_03: I just wanted to make sure that we were clear on that particular issue.
- 21:56SPEAKER_03: And again, commentary that I'll extend next to Al.
- 22:00SPEAKER_03: Further, the bigger issue for me is, you know, Amy Klobachar doing this rally in the first place.
- 22:05SPEAKER_03: It's straight up pandering.
- 22:06SPEAKER_03: Dems don't care.
- 22:07SPEAKER_03: Democrats do not care about these issues.
- 22:09SPEAKER_03: They only care about these issues as long as they can go and take advantage of it politically, as long as they can exploit it politically.
- 22:16SPEAKER_03: It's got nothing to do with helping the community out.
- 22:18SPEAKER_03: It's got nothing to do with helping legal immigrants, regardless of where they're from, when it comes to these remittances programs.
- 22:24SPEAKER_03: No, she is called the Senator of Small Things for a reason, and this is a good example.
- 22:30SPEAKER_03: And we have audio from that rally to share with you coming up after uh 7 o'clock today as well.
- 22:35SPEAKER_05: John, these minority communities and these gangs, they're just foot soldiers to be used by the left.
- 22:44SPEAKER_05: Take a look at what's going on in France, but oops.
- 22:47SPEAKER_05: Our mainstream media doesn't cover that too well.
- 22:52SPEAKER_09: Thank you.
- 22:52SPEAKER_09: Yep.
- 22:54SPEAKER_03: And this has been made by a lot.
- 22:56SPEAKER_03: This comment's been made by a lot of individuals, but it's worth repeating and it's worth repeating again.
- 23:01SPEAKER_03: You know, the lack of, and I'm going to keep using this word because it's relevant.
- 23:06SPEAKER_03: The lack of assimilation of immigrants that come to the United States of America would never be tolerated if the rules are reversed.
- 23:13SPEAKER_03: You cannot go into another country as an American and then suddenly start demanding that the country go and change their laws to suit your religion, your own political uh beliefs.
- 23:25SPEAKER_03: No, you'd be ostracized, you would be uh shoved out of the country, in some countries you probably would be killed if you tried to do such a thing.
- 23:35SPEAKER_03: But we are in, you know, an amazing uh America, and we allow individuals and we welcome individuals of all shapes, sizes, colors, religion, stripes, whatever.
- 23:46SPEAKER_03: That being said, if you come to America, you need to go and adopt to the American what you do at home is fine.
- 23:53SPEAKER_03: What you do in the privacy of your home home, your your own home is fine.
- 23:56SPEAKER_03: But you gotta follow our laws, you gotta follow our rules, you gotta follow our constitution and respect it.
- 24:02SPEAKER_03: And no, we're not gonna go and change it just because you want us to.
- 24:06SPEAKER_03: And unfortunately, that's an aspect that we are.
- 24:08SPEAKER_03: People have taken advantage of the generosity and what makes the United States of America the greatest country on the face of the planet to our own detriment.
- 24:17SPEAKER_12: Good morning, um longtime listener.
- 24:21SPEAKER_12: Um I I don't understand why um people think that the Somali uh leaders will stand up and uh talk about the issues within their community when we know that there's another large community in the state of Minnesota community.
- 24:39SPEAKER_12: There's nobody in leadership standing up and calling out the behaviors of their people.
- 24:48SPEAKER_12: The um community of grace in India was supposed to have a community meeting to talk about that issue that happened, and now it's moved online.
- 24:58SPEAKER_12: And my thinking is that they're fearful of calling these Somali gangs because they'll be called racist.
- 25:08SPEAKER_12: When is this gonna stop?
- 25:10SPEAKER_03: So we're gonna talk about this further.
- 25:13SPEAKER_03: I have the details that were just mentioned by the friend of the show in the uh in the blast to share coming up next hour.
- 25:21SPEAKER_03: And the fact that this community meeting was moved online.
- 25:24SPEAKER_03: Um listen, I don't have an expectation that these communities, in this case, specifically the Somali community, is going to be addressing the issue the way that they should, but we shouldn't stop calling on that community to do just that.
- 25:42SPEAKER_03: So it's kind of yes, you're right, but at the same time, we also can't say, well, they're not going to address it the way they need to address it.
- 25:52SPEAKER_03: They're gonna point other directions, they're not gonna go and try to hold their own community accountable.
- 25:59SPEAKER_03: So that may be true, but it doesn't mean that you don't stand up and say, no, if we want to solve this problem, this is partly where it starts within that own within that community.
- 26:11SPEAKER_03: Uh truth of the matter is it's all about just accountability.
- 26:14SPEAKER_03: You want to tackle this problem, stop pussyfooting around the issue.
- 26:19SPEAKER_03: The police certainly aren't.
- 26:20SPEAKER_03: I mean, the police are out there saying in multiple news stories that this was Somali gang related and address it on its face and hold people accountable.
- 26:30SPEAKER_03: I mean, this is this is again, the left wants to talk about systemic problems, systemic racism, you know, white nationalism, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 26:38SPEAKER_03: It's all gaslighting because this is what they do.
- 26:41SPEAKER_03: And if they blame the right of this, it's because they know of which they speak, because they do it all the time.
- 26:50SPEAKER_03: We need to be able to focus on this specifically and directly.
- 26:54SPEAKER_03: And part of the problem is even when we try to go and hold people accountable for their actions, because there are issues within the community that aren't going to be fixed.
- 27:03SPEAKER_03: Because most of the starts in the home, and this is an aspect that we'll get into uh next hour.
- 27:07SPEAKER_03: But even when you hold people accountable, you know, they end up in the hands of scary Moriarty or other activist judges, and they're thrown back out on the street with hardly any repercussions for their actions whatsoever.
- 27:19SPEAKER_03: Or as I mentioned before, you get gangs like the Muddy in the Ville that get legitimized in the midst of being kept off of the grounds at the Minnesota State Fair.
- 27:29SPEAKER_03: It's just, it's all so ridiculously.
- 27:32SPEAKER_03: It's all it's all just so it's ridiculous.
- 27:33SPEAKER_03: It's absolutely ridiculous.
- 27:35SPEAKER_03: So we'll talk about possible solutions, what to do to try to fix the problem, and not shy away from the facts of the situation, even in the midst of being called a bunch of things that you are not.
- 27:46SPEAKER_10: Hey, good morning, John.
- 27:47SPEAKER_10: It's Barry.
- 27:49SPEAKER_10: So the Somali community, the Somali gangs are no different than petulant children.
- 27:55SPEAKER_10: Behavior excused is behavior encouraged.
- 27:58SPEAKER_10: They're encouraged.
- 27:59SPEAKER_10: Have a good day.
- 28:00SPEAKER_03: Well, and and listen, gangs of any kind.
- 28:03SPEAKER_03: You know, this happens to be Somali gangs.
- 28:05SPEAKER_03: It's relevant to so many different situations that we are faced with here in Minnesota.
- 28:11SPEAKER_03: But, you know, this is also just indicative of gang behavior in and of itself.
- 28:15SPEAKER_03: Motivations for gangs differ.
- 28:19SPEAKER_03: Situations within various communities that have these gangs differ.
- 28:23SPEAKER_03: There is a solution to deal with all of them equally, and that is, again, enforce the law and actually hold people accountable when they go and do bad behavior.
- 28:34SPEAKER_03: But as I just mentioned, here in uh, you know, Minneapolis, that often doesn't happen because of the activism, and a lot of that is, you know, because of Trump derangement syndrome.
- 28:45SPEAKER_03: Hate to be so bland in the commentary, but it's true.
- 28:48SPEAKER_03: All right, we'll get into more of this again coming up next hour, 651-964-0294.
- 28:54SPEAKER_03: Uh, we await the arrival of uh Andrew Langer, the president of the Institute for Uh Liberty.
- 29:00SPEAKER_03: And before he joins us, though, I want to remind you that when you call most home service companies, it's a scary situation now.
- 29:07SPEAKER_03: Those companies that you've trusted for years, you see their vans driving around all the time, you recognize the name and you think, hey, that's a local company.
- 29:15SPEAKER_03: Maybe I'll go and call them.
- 29:16SPEAKER_03: Maybe you've had good service with them in the past, but when was the last time you called them?
- 29:20SPEAKER_03: Because a lot of those companies, they've been purchased by outside organizations, sometimes outside not just the state, but also outside the country.
- 29:29SPEAKER_03: They're no longer providing that specialized local service.
- 29:33SPEAKER_03: They're cutting corners, they're not hiring trained professionals anymore.
- 29:37SPEAKER_03: So who can you trust?
- 29:38SPEAKER_03: Ericsson Plumbing, heating, air, and electrical.
- 29:40SPEAKER_03: That's who you can trust.
- 29:43SPEAKER_03: They've been doing this for years.
- 29:45SPEAKER_03: We're talking 43 years, local family-owned, with licensed experts across all the major trades.
- 29:50SPEAKER_03: So whether it's safety and security systems, which wouldn't typically, you would think, fall under home service companies, it does for Ericsson Plumbing, heating air, and electrical, but of course, gas, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.
- 30:00SPEAKER_03: Great opportunity to give your whole home a complete mechanical analysis before the cold winter months arrive.
- 30:07SPEAKER_03: I was just noticing this morning that it was chilly outside.
- 30:10SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's right.
- 30:12SPEAKER_03: Very fall weather.
- 30:12SPEAKER_03: Although I went riding yesterday.
- 30:14SPEAKER_03: I went riding on my bike yesterday and went into bunker because I wanted to see some of the some of the fall leaves.
- 30:20SPEAKER_03: And they had not changed color yet.
- 30:23SPEAKER_03: I was a little bit, I was a little bit disappointing.
- 30:25SPEAKER_03: I was like, hey, where are my fall leaves?
- 30:29SPEAKER_03: I mean, there's some on the ground, but anyway, uh Ericsson plumbing heating air and electrical.
- 30:34SPEAKER_03: I digress.
- 30:35SPEAKER_03: Uh their iHeart My Home Club gives you that full home mechanical analysis, water quality, testing, seasonal tune-ups, real whole home care, locally owned, not purchased by some outside organization from people who actually care.
- 30:46SPEAKER_03: Call them today and tell them that John Justice sent you at 763-7834545.
- 30:51SPEAKER_03: 763-7834545.
- 30:55SPEAKER_03: Tell them that John Justice sent you or head on over to iHeartedson.com.
- 30:59SPEAKER_03: That's iHeartToEricsson.com.
- 31:04SPEAKER_15: Morning, John.
- 31:05SPEAKER_15: I realize that the uh Amy story was from 2017, but I'm gonna apply the lonely highway theory.
- 31:13SPEAKER_15: I believe the learning centers existed long before the sign went up.
- 31:18SPEAKER_15: Again, everybody have a great day.
- 31:20SPEAKER_03: Yeah, sure.
- 31:21SPEAKER_03: No, no, listen, I don't uh I don't debate that.
- 31:23SPEAKER_03: I just wanted to provide clarity on a story that's making the rounds again that is causing quite a bit of controversy online.
- 31:29SPEAKER_11: Good morning, John.
- 31:30SPEAKER_11: With respect of small games on Channel 5 last night, one of the one of the leaders said they need more resources.
- 31:36SPEAKER_11: That's just another another way to say we need money.
- 31:38SPEAKER_11: Give us money.
- 31:39SPEAKER_11: This is this is ridiculous.
- 31:41SPEAKER_11: Screw the money.
- 31:44SPEAKER_11: It needs to start in the home, like you indicated.
- 31:46SPEAKER_11: This has got to stop.
- 31:48SPEAKER_11: It's out of control.
- 31:49SPEAKER_11: Thank you.
- 31:49SPEAKER_11: Have a great day.
- 31:50SPEAKER_03: Thank you.
- 31:51SPEAKER_03: And thank you for the uh for the blast again.
- 31:53SPEAKER_03: 651-964-0294.

- 33:24SPEAKER_03: Uh let's see, Eden Prairie High School has had fights between different groups uh before.
- 33:30SPEAKER_03: Uh while two, while the two shot were from St.
- 33:33SPEAKER_03: Paul, I'm betting that there were individuals from Eden Prairie that were at least involved in the melee uh as well that preceded the uh the shooting.
- 33:42SPEAKER_03: Uh thank you for the comment.
- 33:44SPEAKER_03: Let's also go here.
- 33:46SPEAKER_01: Good morning, John.
- 33:57SPEAKER_01: Right now, and for always when they run into this situation, they get their fingers and just start going laugh.
- 34:09SPEAKER_01: That's all they need to do to make themselves happy.
- 34:13SPEAKER_03: Again, 651-964-0294.
- 34:18SPEAKER_03: And with that, let's go ahead and uh and uh bring in our good friend, president of the Institute for Uh Liberty, Andrew Langer.
- 34:26SPEAKER_03: What's up, buddy?
- 34:27SPEAKER_51: Uh, you know, listen, you you you you come up to New York for a uh family event, you'd set up your stuff, and then you're trying to figure out why you have no sound, and and it's like you know, here the to peel back the curtain, folks.
- 34:40SPEAKER_51: You know, you you great microphones.
- 34:42SPEAKER_51: The company sure makes great microphones.
- 34:44SPEAKER_03: Um you should move closer to that microphone, by the way.
- 34:48SPEAKER_51: Am I too far?
- 34:48SPEAKER_51: Am I too far away?
- 34:49SPEAKER_51: You're too far away.
- 34:50SPEAKER_51: There we go.
- 34:51SPEAKER_51: On my on my actual laptop here.
- 34:52SPEAKER_51: We'll see if it messes everything.
- 34:55SPEAKER_51: Well, you know, for proper mic technique, John, I am a professional broadcaster as well.
- 35:00SPEAKER_51: Um, you know, for whatever reason, my computer wanted to default to having my headphones as the have the the headphone jack on the on this.
- 35:09SPEAKER_51: Do you do you plug your headphones into the microphone?
- 35:12SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I don't I don't hear, I do at home.
- 35:15SPEAKER_03: My system at home has has the has the headphone uh mic uh mic set up, not here.
- 35:20SPEAKER_51: Yeah, I I uh I I've never I've never I've never done that.
- 35:24SPEAKER_51: So anyway, so you know, so I've I had audio audio problems there.
- 35:27SPEAKER_51: But hey man, it's it's all it's all good.
- 35:28SPEAKER_51: I'm a little logey.
- 35:29SPEAKER_51: It was at a family wedding uh last night.
- 35:31SPEAKER_51: Uh my cousin's kid got married, and and it was a it was a glorious event.
- 35:36SPEAKER_51: Uh great band.
- 35:37SPEAKER_51: A fantastic live band, man.
- 35:39SPEAKER_51: And I know how much you love music.
- 35:42SPEAKER_51: Um this was just one of the best.
- 35:44SPEAKER_51: They're not a wedding band, they are professional orchestra, and it was it was just really good.
- 35:49SPEAKER_03: I don't think I've ever used this drop with Andrew Langer to talk to.
- 35:54SPEAKER_51: So Yes.
- 35:57SPEAKER_51: Logie, Logie uh uh ever so slightly hung over Andrew Langer.
- 36:02SPEAKER_51: Thank you.
- 36:02SPEAKER_03: Uh I have a couple of items that were not.
- 36:04SPEAKER_03: I know we chat we chatted a bit about a few things that we'll talk about.
- 36:07SPEAKER_03: The Supreme Court uh term uh begins uh begins today and uh and a few other items.
- 36:12SPEAKER_03: I want to throw uh I want to throw a uh a couple at you that I haven't brought up yet.
- 36:15SPEAKER_03: Uh-oh.
- 36:18SPEAKER_03: Have you seen the story about the allegations that the plague uh there's a plague outbreak in Russia?
- 36:24SPEAKER_03: I saw that.
- 36:25SPEAKER_03: That's crazy.
- 36:26SPEAKER_03: So for those that aren't aware, uh this was making the rounds over the weekend, and it is legitimate.
- 36:30SPEAKER_03: There is some there is some truth to this, but again, the devil's in the details in terms of global concern.
- 36:36SPEAKER_51: John, hold on for a second.
- 36:37SPEAKER_51: I seem to remember this being the plot of like the first X uh X-Files movie, you know, uh uh uh Virology Lab in Siberia.
- 36:45SPEAKER_03: That movie is so underestimated, by the way.
- 36:48SPEAKER_03: That that original, the second one, not so much.
- 36:50SPEAKER_03: That first X-Men movie, it's I we w I watched it, I don't know, like a couple of months ago.
- 36:55SPEAKER_03: It's it is a solid film.
- 36:57SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 36:57SPEAKER_03: Um, a Russian laboratory worker died from a suspected mnemonic plague exposure, prompting a quarantine of over 200 people raising concerns about the potential outbreak.
- 37:10SPEAKER_03: The incident's reminiscent, of course, of the coronavirus pandemic's origin.
- 37:14SPEAKER_03: I was getting flashbacks to that December talking about this with uh Sam and uh and our dear friend Drew.
- 37:21SPEAKER_03: But it's led to a shortage on antibiotics and heightened regional concern despite official assurances.
- 37:28SPEAKER_03: And I want to let everybody know you can't this is treatable via antibiotics.
- 37:32SPEAKER_03: It just isn't a matter of how bad it attacks the uh the system.
- 37:35SPEAKER_51: So also right.
- 37:37SPEAKER_51: I mean, here's here then now now I'm gonna now I don't know if you have an alarm drop in there, but now I'm gonna drop a little bit of an uh of an alarm's perspective.
- 37:44SPEAKER_51: If you go to your average national park uh out west, you're gonna get exposed to animals that that carry plague.
- 37:50SPEAKER_51: I mean, it it that that's that's a a a true thing.
- 37:53SPEAKER_51: It's why, by the way, you should never like feed squirrels at national parks.
- 37:56SPEAKER_51: Uh, you know, the Hontavirus is not plague, but you know, but but the the point is, listen, uh to to be tongue-in-cheek uh and to do a little bit of shtick, at the very least, thank goodness there's not a you know twice a week flight directly from Irkutsk, Siberia, into JFK.
- 38:14SPEAKER_51: Um, you know, you listen to Jim Downey, and we've got into a conversation.
- 38:18SPEAKER_51: Jim Downey, who was a famed writer for Saturday Night Live, you're familiar with him.
- 38:22SPEAKER_51: Great documentary called Downey Wrote This.
- 38:24SPEAKER_51: He tells a story about the fact he got he got COVID uh uh earlier than anybody else because he happened to be at JFK Airport in New York when the twice-weekly flight directly from Wuhan to JFK landed, and a bunch of folks got off the plane hacking and coughing and sneezing and just spraying COVID-19 everywhere.
- 38:47SPEAKER_51: Um, you know, so so at least say what we will about our good friends, the Russians, and I'm saying that with dripping with sarcasm, say what we will about our good friends.
- 38:56SPEAKER_51: Maybe, maybe they have something in doing um in doing virology research uh where they exile people too, and where there's nothing around for thousands of miles.
- 39:06SPEAKER_51: Um you know, that this this gets into the the benefit of the old Russian adage, if you don't know where a road goes, perhaps you shouldn't be on it.
- 39:14SPEAKER_51: Um so it sorry, go ahead.
- 39:18SPEAKER_03: Oh, I'm I'm less concerned about and maybe I'll maybe I'll be eating my words in the future.
- 39:23SPEAKER_03: I'm less concerned about I'm less concerned about this even in retrospect of how the coronavirus outbreak uh took place.
- 39:31SPEAKER_03: Uh just just based off of kind of what you're saying alone.
- 39:34SPEAKER_03: If this if this did happen, this would not have been, in my view, any attempt of Russia trying to go and release something across the planet.
- 39:43SPEAKER_03: I'm pretty sure that they will be doing everything they possibly can to get this under control so that doesn't happen, unlike with what happened with COVID.
- 39:51SPEAKER_51: Right.
- 39:52SPEAKER_51: You know, that's that's just it.
- 39:53SPEAKER_51: Now, you know, we don't know.
- 39:55SPEAKER_51: I don't know if if this was uh on any on any uh Ukrainian target lists that were out there.
- 40:01SPEAKER_51: Um you know, but but this is listen, Russians doing research on viruses, well, anybody doing research on viruses, this is not news.
- 40:10SPEAKER_51: Doing research on viruses in in uh in uh Siberia, in Siberia is not uh is not uh massive news.
- 40:17SPEAKER_51: By the way, we are watching, speaking of Russia and Ukraine and things like that, we're watching the latest season of uh of Lioness.
- 40:25SPEAKER_51: We're about halfway through it right now.
- 40:27SPEAKER_51: And you gotta, you know, all credit to Taylor Sheridan for encapsulating uh the sort of the Russian worldview um and and what the Russians and the Chinese have been doing.
- 40:40SPEAKER_51: You know, the stuff you and I have talked about in terms of uh how the Russians and Chinese have gone about undermining American society over the last half century, this is all a major uh point of discussion in this season of Lioness.
- 40:54SPEAKER_03: Uh the season does not disappoint since you're only halfway through it.
- 40:58SPEAKER_03: I have finished it.
- 40:59SPEAKER_03: Okay, and as a matter of fact, it makes me want to go back and re-watch the previous seasons, which typically doesn't happen for for shows like this.
- 41:08SPEAKER_03: And I think I think that the um the showrunner and writer and also actor, uh Taylor Sheridan, also did uh Yellowstone, might be might be the most masculine man on the planet.
- 41:20SPEAKER_03: I hundred percent, right?
- 41:22SPEAKER_51: Yes, with without a doubt.
- 41:23SPEAKER_51: The stuff that he does in Yellowstone with the horse training is brilliant.
- 41:29SPEAKER_51: It's all and I'm and I'm bummed that they're not, at least as clear as I can tell, they're not doing a four six series.
- 41:34SPEAKER_51: By the way, I can't I don't know the actor's name, but the guy who plays two cups, who's the the chubby guy with the with the mustache and beard, who's also in Landman, uh might be my favorite character actor uh on on TV right now.
- 41:45SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 41:46SPEAKER_51: Even though I don't know his name, which is the whole point of being a character actor, I suppose.
- 41:49SPEAKER_03: Yeah, well, Landman 2.
- 41:50SPEAKER_03: I mean, it's just all those shows.
- 41:51SPEAKER_03: Just uh toxic masculinity everywhere.
- 41:54SPEAKER_03: And it's and it's fantastic.
- 41:56SPEAKER_51: Well, toxic, also toxic Americaninity, if that's a I know that's not a word, but I mean it is it is a yes, it is a a real love letter across the board, a love letter to the American man.
- 42:09SPEAKER_51: Boy, this this sounds this sounds like a very progressive show, John, that we're doing today.
- 42:14SPEAKER_03: Um let me throw one more item.
- 42:16SPEAKER_03: We don't have to spend a lot of time on it.
- 42:17SPEAKER_03: I kind of want to just get it on the show and then put a pin in it because it's not going anywhere anytime soon.
- 42:23SPEAKER_03: But have you been following the the Cornell 7 issue?
- 42:29SPEAKER_51: Yes, unfortunately.
- 42:31SPEAKER_51: Um and I'm I've been following it for a lot of reasons, not the least of which is one of my uh uh best friends is a Cornell alumna.
- 42:38SPEAKER_51: And so, you know, she and I have had a couple of conversations about this.
- 42:42SPEAKER_03: So um this was uh in a Jane Doe's lawsuit against these individuals.
- 42:47SPEAKER_03: The former student says that she was pressured into snorting ketamine and drinking alpha uh alcohol, and therefore couldn't have consented to the sex that she had with multiple uh males from Cornell University.
- 43:02SPEAKER_03: The deeper backstory on this is that she changed her tune.
- 43:06SPEAKER_03: There were text message exchanges that she had with the men that were involved in those text exchanges.
- 43:12SPEAKER_03: One of the guys actually tried to apologize, and she says, No, I still enjoyed being with you.
- 43:16SPEAKER_03: She just didn't want the story to spread, never claimed rape, but it wasn't until basically there was some um she was supposed to go to a party and she was rejected from that party.
- 43:27SPEAKER_03: Word got around of what had happened, and suddenly her story began to change.
- 43:32SPEAKER_03: And this was going back to 2024, and it really is, in my opinion, it's it's making a resurgence for a number of different issues, but one of them being that um dovetailing off of Lindsay Clancy, what we saw with the Tennessee uh botched uh death uh death penalty uh execution, you have all of this defense of women now in in retrospect.
- 43:54SPEAKER_03: You know, if I look back on my past um doings, even though I might have been responsible.
- 44:00SPEAKER_03: But I have regret now that it means you can't be held responsible.
- 44:03SPEAKER_03: I just want to add one quick summary to this, and then I have another sort of comment here, and I can let you um I can get you can give your thoughts.
- 44:10SPEAKER_03: But the Cornell University president has addressed the controversies surrounding the university's handling of the 2024 gang rape allegation.
- 44:18SPEAKER_03: Because at the time, the the university, my understanding, was kind of dismissed it saying, well, all parties consented to this, you know, nobody's in the right, nobody's in the wrong.
- 44:27SPEAKER_03: They did pledge transparency, a review of campus culture, and support for changing New York's sexual assault uh laws.
- 44:35SPEAKER_03: You know, the tragedy in all this whole thing is that everybody in this situation is responsible for their for the debauchery and the fallout that they're all that they're all dealing with.
- 44:45SPEAKER_03: It's a tragic story, but it also speaks to just the moral depravity, unfortunately, of men as well who need to avoid circumstances like this or risk being put into a position where you could potentially be falsely accused of something heinous and could end up being thrown in jail for years upon years.
- 45:04SPEAKER_51: Right.
- 45:05SPEAKER_51: You know, here's here's the the to me, it's it's all about the the the mob mentality and and what happens.
- 45:11SPEAKER_51: And and you know, I I I tying it back into the story of the lesbian bar up in Northampton, which I know you talked about ad nauseum, and then I made you talk about it again last week.
- 45:22SPEAKER_51: You know, at some point in time when the mob gets a hold of a story, right, the parties who are involved, they're they're they're it it's out of their hands.
- 45:30SPEAKER_51: And and at the end of the day, there's no there's no satisfaction for the mob.
- 45:35SPEAKER_51: No amount of apologizing uh ever satisfies the mob.
- 45:39SPEAKER_51: Every decision that someone makes uh is then subject to the criticism of the mob.
- 45:45SPEAKER_51: Uh and it's frankly worse now, you know, with uh with the advent of of social media and sort of real-time mass communication, mass interactive communication, uh is that it can build up uh build up that frenzy.
- 45:57SPEAKER_51: Um it's everybody else at Cornell uh that I feel particularly sorry for.
- 46:03SPEAKER_51: Uh, you know, folks who've gone there, who have nothing to do with this, uh, you know, in the same way, you know, the the the the kids who were at Duke at the time that the Duke Lacrosse case came out.
- 46:14SPEAKER_22: Yeah.
- 46:15SPEAKER_51: And and it just did everybody sort of looked askew uh at anybody who was at Duke at the time, and for years to come.
- 46:21SPEAKER_51: I mean, you know, so it's it it is a circumstance in which you have to deal with the facts as they are, um, and and even as those facts may change as more information comes out, but we cannot, we cannot let the mob mentality rule.
- 46:36SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 46:37SPEAKER_03: Uh let's go here.
- 46:38SPEAKER_03: Uh Supreme Court.
- 46:39SPEAKER_51: Speaking of which, by the way.
- 46:41SPEAKER_51: Listen, again, talking about mob mentality and a court and tainted people and all of these things is certainly uh at issue in with the last major not the last one, but the uh major Supreme Court nomination fight one or two iterations ago.
- 46:56SPEAKER_03: Um, by the way, just before we get to the Supreme Court term starting today, I know was it Alito was signaling that he might be.
- 47:03SPEAKER_51: Well, this goes hand in hand, right?
- 47:06SPEAKER_51: I mean, so so we've got this term that's happening.
- 47:08SPEAKER_51: Alito over the weekend, Justice Alito said, you know, I'm I'm thinking, I'm thinking I may retire.
- 47:13SPEAKER_51: Uh next year would be, and next year would be the year to do it, right?
- 47:17SPEAKER_51: Even though, you know, there's a high likelihood Republicans are gonna lose control of the Senate or it's gonna be super tight, you don't wanna you don't want to do it the following year when we're in, you know, the middle of a of a presidential election year and make it fundamentally political.
- 47:30SPEAKER_51: Um you know, do it uh uh do it going into the end of, you know, do it at the end of this term.
- 47:36SPEAKER_51: So going into the summertime, the president nominates uh uh the Alito's replacement, and then you go into a fight in the fall.
- 47:43SPEAKER_51: Then of course it does become a an issue going into the presidential cycle early on, but it's then it's just part of the rest of the noise, as opposed to doing it at the end of the 2027-2028 term in which it is neck deep, and the Democrats or whomever can come back and say we have a replay of uh of the uh the post-Scalia uh nomination fight.
- 48:05SPEAKER_03: Never a dull moment.
- 48:06SPEAKER_03: I am not dude, I am not looking forward to another Supreme Court nomination fight on any level at all.
- 48:12SPEAKER_03: They all they all just end up being cluster Fs.
- 48:15SPEAKER_51: Well, they they do, they've certainly gotten that way, and and it gets down to you know one of my favorite, you know, issues to talk about, which is you know, you so you've got you've got Ilya Shapiro, who now is at the Manhattan Institute, was at the Cato Institute for a while, had a brief tenure as the head of the Constitutional Law Center at Georgetown University until the mob came after him.
- 48:35SPEAKER_51: He's written a a lot about this.
- 48:37SPEAKER_51: He's written at least one book about the depoliticization of the Supreme Court and Supreme Court fights.
- 48:42SPEAKER_51: And we know that going into uh 2028-2029, right?
- 48:48SPEAKER_51: So let's say next president takes office in 2029.
- 48:51SPEAKER_51: We don't know what the congressional makeup is gonna be, but let's assume for a moment that the Democrats have taken control of both houses of Congress and the White House as well.
- 49:01SPEAKER_51: And, you know, they will start to move to talk about expanding the Supreme Court or talk about term limits and talk about this, you talk about all kinds of ways to essentially have these fights over and over again.
- 49:16SPEAKER_51: You know, the wonderful thing about lifetime tenure, and I know it it can drive us up the wall, especially when there are people on the high court that we don't like, but the reality is the Supreme Court should be immune from partisan politics at the end of the day.
- 49:29SPEAKER_51: Uh and the more uh nomination fights you have, the more partisan it becomes.
- 49:34SPEAKER_51: Um, the more uh the more uh the shorter the duration of the term limit, the more partisan it becomes.
- 49:41SPEAKER_51: And that's expressly what the founders were trying to avoid.
- 49:43SPEAKER_51: And again, I'm not saying the founders were were gods and have to be uh slavishly revered.
- 49:50SPEAKER_51: Um, but there's a reason why the structure was set up that way.
- 49:53SPEAKER_51: You know, in the same way, guys, that we were not supposed to elect senators directly by the populace once every six years.
- 50:01SPEAKER_51: It was to sort of make the Senate a little bit more immune from the political process, but also more responsive to the local constituencies.
- 50:11SPEAKER_51: There are reasons why these things were done.
- 50:13SPEAKER_03: So a couple of things on this.
- 50:14SPEAKER_03: First off, uh this may this may bolster your point.
- 50:17SPEAKER_03: I had a comment that came in.
- 50:18SPEAKER_03: Somebody said Ted Cruz or Trey Gowdy for the Supreme Court Justice.
- 50:22SPEAKER_03: And I think that kind of that kind of exemplifies what you were just talking about in terms of Here is the interesting thing, right?
- 50:30SPEAKER_51: You know, listen, I Lord knows Ted Cruz, he's a friend.
- 50:34SPEAKER_51: Um known but long before he was long before he was uh a senator.
- 50:39SPEAKER_51: Um because that's a humble brad, guys.
- 50:41SPEAKER_51: You know, throw you know dropping his name out there.
- 50:43SPEAKER_03: Why haven't you got him on my what are you what are you doing?
- 50:45SPEAKER_51: What do you want to do?
- 50:46SPEAKER_51: It's a good thing for he does his own podcast now.
- 50:50SPEAKER_51: He's gotten all hi-hat.
- 50:51SPEAKER_51: Anyway, the the point is um um you know Ted Cruz could be a really interesting Supreme Court nominee um for a lot of reasons, not the least of which is generally senators when they get nominated to things, they have an easier time sailing through.
- 51:06SPEAKER_51: On the other hand, there are a lot of folks up on the Senate side who don't like Ted Cruz for a lot of reasons, not the least of which is because he's a committed philosophical conservative.
- 51:16SPEAKER_51: Um I could see him his nomination moving much further uh because of that.
- 51:22SPEAKER_51: I listen, it's not a there's no way anybody's gonna be unanimous.
- 51:26SPEAKER_51: Um, but all you need is, you know, X number of votes plus one and then and then uh uh and then he's in.
- 51:32SPEAKER_51: I can see that happening um just to get him out of the Senate.
- 51:38SPEAKER_51: Uh but you know who who knows.
- 51:40SPEAKER_51: Listen, I don't know, maybe maybe if if uh if uh what is it, if Talarico wins, that this may be this may be easier said than done.
- 51:46SPEAKER_03: Oh, oh what do you think I don't want to I don't want to go there, I don't want to go to to that just yet.
- 51:51SPEAKER_03: I want to keep it on the Supreme Court.
- 51:53SPEAKER_03: So it's interesting you make that comment, and I agree with you in terms of how the Supreme Court is currently operating versus how we wished it would operate.
- 52:00SPEAKER_03: But it's also I think uh noteworthy that it mirrors, you know, sort of society in general.
- 52:07SPEAKER_03: It mirrors what's gone on in the in the media, it mirror it mirrors what's happened in sports and entertainment.
- 52:13SPEAKER_03: Everything has become politicized.
- 52:15SPEAKER_03: And so it's almost as if to say, unless we have a wholesale change within society wherein we begin to take these institutions like the media and bring them back to what they used to be pre-internet, I don't have any you know expectation that the Supreme Court um would would change to, you know, to conduct itself in a way that you and I would find more agreeable.
- 52:36SPEAKER_51: And and and let's be really clear here as well, because this is the interesting issue that the media tends to conveniently ignore.
- 52:44SPEAKER_51: You know, the Supreme Court and the members of the High Court agree with each other um far more and in far greater numbers than the major media would have you believe.
- 52:54SPEAKER_51: Whether it is, you know, eight to one, nine to zero, eight to one, seven to two decisions, there are a lot of those out there.
- 53:01SPEAKER_51: Um and so it it is the the the high court is functioning pretty well right now.
- 53:08SPEAKER_51: It doesn't, you know, that's not to say it's not without its hiccups.
- 53:11SPEAKER_51: Again, it is not immune from society, like the the leak of the Dobbs decision.
- 53:15SPEAKER_51: Um, but that being said, you know, these are these are for the most part uh very thoughtful uh uh jurists who are sitting on the high court and they have uh the best interests of the constitutional republic at heart.
- 53:29SPEAKER_03: Um on the Supreme Court reconvening uh today, uh beginning the new term, we've got cases, climate change, immigration, gun rights.
- 53:37SPEAKER_03: Is there anything top of mind uh for you beyond beyond just the fact that the court's getting back into session?
- 53:44SPEAKER_51: Well, yeah, I mean listen, I I I think that these cases about uh uh the the climate cases are really interesting.
- 53:50SPEAKER_51: You know, whether or not the states have the right in this case.
- 53:53SPEAKER_51: Normally I don't I don't talk about government entities having rights, government entities have powers.
- 53:58SPEAKER_51: You know, whether or not these states have the right to sue uh private companies based upon their actions uh in contravention of you know of federal law and express federal law, I think that's gonna be a really interesting one.
- 54:11SPEAKER_51: Um, without a real foregone conclusion, by the way, because you know it it can it can cut in a ver in a variety of different ways.
- 54:16SPEAKER_51: Uh these these gun rights cases as well.
- 54:19SPEAKER_51: It would be wonderful if the Supreme Court continues to go down this road of declaring that uh um uh that uh um uh the right to keep and bear arms is an individual right and not a collective right, uh, and that the states are are inherently limited in their power.
- 54:35SPEAKER_51: Yeah, I mean these are these are the ones that that are that are out there um um that uh that I'm I'm looking at.
- 54:42SPEAKER_51: It's gonna be an interesting term to say the least.
- 54:44SPEAKER_03: Uh one last item before uh we bid uh ado this morning, talking with the president of the Institute for Liberty, Andrew Langer.
- 54:50SPEAKER_03: Uh so a federal judge uh has ruled that the uh the flocca cameras are unconstitu unconstitutional.
- 54:58SPEAKER_03: You know, I just as a really superficial uh part of this whole thing.
- 55:01SPEAKER_03: You know, I can't help but wonder that how much of this is just tied to this being one entity flock making these and how it's just become this not to say these concerns aren't legitimate, but it is to say there's a superficiality to the whole thing.
- 55:14SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 55:14SPEAKER_03: In my opinion, that you know, labeling and particular types and all that, it has to see it it seems to have really exacerbated the the the concerns which are legitimate.
- 55:24SPEAKER_51: Yeah, I mean that's just it.
- 55:26SPEAKER_51: It is a situation where we've become so accustomed to seeing cameras around that it's something that we don't even think about anymore, right?
- 55:34SPEAKER_51: You know, you go to your you go to your airport, like I'm flying, and I I flew on Thursday, then flew again on Friday morning, and I love the touchless TSA pre-check.
- 55:44SPEAKER_51: Um, I have no problem inherently with my, you know, and I know folks are gonna say, how dare you?
- 55:49SPEAKER_51: What kind of libertarian are you, Andrew?
- 55:51SPEAKER_51: But no, I don't have a problem.
- 55:52SPEAKER_51: I've I've paid money to the government, uh, I've had them vet me in advance, so it takes me five minutes to go through an airport, and I don't have to take off my belt or my jacket or my shoes, I don't have to do it.
- 56:02SPEAKER_51: All of the things that go along with TSA Pre-check.
- 56:05SPEAKER_51: Um, you know, that being said, you know, the constant mass surveillance and more to the point where it all goes into a private database, I got huge concerns with this.
- 56:16SPEAKER_51: It's this listen, it's the same reason why I have concerns about 23andMe, right?
- 56:20SPEAKER_51: Because we talk about folks, they give up their money, it's a private entity, but what then happens when or or the mass surveillance of cell phone data and the ability of government to go in and take, you know, your your text data and your geolocation data.
- 56:36SPEAKER_51: And it comes down to this for me there's a very basic precept that's out there for me, which is that which the government cannot do directly because it's prohibited uh uh by it by the Constitution, it cannot do indirectly because somebody in private industry is doing this.
- 56:52SPEAKER_51: You know, and in fact it gets even worse in terms of the protection of basic civil liberties when the government starts outsourcing these things uh to private contracting.
- 57:01SPEAKER_51: Then you add into, by the way, the issue of massive databases of information uh and the ability of government to use AI to weaponize that against individuals.
- 57:10SPEAKER_51: I I know I've talked about this before.
- 57:12SPEAKER_51: Um heard a uh a presentation last year at a conference on uh uh uh regulation and AI.
- 57:18SPEAKER_51: As you all know, that's my my my big passion is I know it's sad, but my big passion is regulation and regulatory policy.
- 57:25SPEAKER_51: But I want to use AI to make it easier for people to comply with the law.
- 57:29SPEAKER_51: But the first presentation out of the box was from an enforcement lawyer with the Commodities Futures Trading Commission who was salivating at the idea of using uh AI to crunch numbers to go after bad guys uh in the commodities markets, which is like that just made me made me cringe.
- 57:46SPEAKER_03: Andrew Langer, president of the Institute for Liberty, but you're also a Renaissance man and you're involved in all kinds of uh different projects.
- 57:54SPEAKER_03: Where would you like the listener to head when they're done listening to this fine program this morning?
- 57:58SPEAKER_51: Listen, um, got a great interview that comes up today with uh Tom Schatz, who is the head of the uh uh uh citizens against government waste and and the the CAGW Council, um talking about Medicare and and the specifically something called the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Studies.
- 58:15SPEAKER_51: No, Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation, uh uh it which is an entity that is supposed to find ways to save the taxpayers money.
- 58:23SPEAKER_51: It has cost the taxpayers billions of dollars, uh, and yet if they try to zero it out, the Congressional Budget Office says that it will cost even more taxpayer dollars.
- 58:33SPEAKER_51: Uh it's a great story.
- 58:34SPEAKER_51: Go and check that out.
- 58:35SPEAKER_51: If you're not following me on X, please do so.
- 58:36SPEAKER_51: At Andrew underscore Langer John.
- 58:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah, do that.
- 58:40SPEAKER_03: What the hell?
- 58:40SPEAKER_03: Why aren't you following it on my why aren't you following him on X?
- 58:43SPEAKER_03: She's Louise, man.
- 58:45SPEAKER_03: Hey, man, I really enjoyed the conversation.
- 58:47SPEAKER_03: It's always great to see you.
- 58:48SPEAKER_03: Take care.
- 58:48SPEAKER_03: All right, we'll talk to you again next uh week.
- 58:50SPEAKER_03: All right, again, uh the blaster line is 651-964-0294.
- 58:55SPEAKER_03: 651-964-0294.
- 58:59SPEAKER_13: Yeah, from show under John Ah, from show is per usual, yeah.
- 59:04SPEAKER_13: You know, I can think of people say usual the people in power lose the Senate or something in the future.
- 59:15SPEAKER_13: Blah, blah, blah.
- 59:21SPEAKER_13: I think it's there's no reason why we should lose power.
- 59:24SPEAKER_13: Because the Democrats are extreme failures at whatever they do.
- 59:28SPEAKER_03: Let me pause, let me pause this really quick, because I kind of fall into this category too, because I've been talking about this.
- 59:32SPEAKER_03: I've been saying that on the show.
- 59:34SPEAKER_03: I mean, when you look at historically speaking, you've only had really two different instances over the course of almost a hundred years.
- 59:45SPEAKER_03: I'm going back a little too far, but you go back to uh 92, and then you gotta go back to Roosevelt and the Great Depression.
- 59:53SPEAKER_03: Those were the two times where you had external circumstances wherein the party that was in power retained power.
- 1:00:01SPEAKER_03: You also had 92.
- 1:00:03SPEAKER_03: No, not 92, 89.
- 1:00:05SPEAKER_03: 89, 87.
- 1:00:07SPEAKER_03: Anyway, you had Bill Clinton, the Monica Lewinsky scandal, wherein they did pick up some seats because Republicans overplayed uh their their overplayed their hand.
- 1:00:16SPEAKER_03: So I'm with you on keeping things positive, but also just want to stress that you know there is historical significance.
- 1:00:24SPEAKER_03: Wherein typically, what this is 85, 90% of the time, the party in power during the midterms ends up losing that power.
- 1:00:31SPEAKER_03: So anyway, back to your comments.
- 1:00:33SPEAKER_13: And from people keep saying, well, we're just gonna lose as a midterm.
- 1:00:38SPEAKER_13: No, we should win.
- 1:00:40SPEAKER_13: And when we should in come 2028, Democrats surely aren't gonna win a presidency with all the losers they have lined up.
- 1:00:49SPEAKER_13: Everyone on your bench has a capital L on your forehead.
- 1:00:52SPEAKER_13: Loser, loser, loser.
- 1:00:54SPEAKER_13: Thanks, John.
- 1:00:58SPEAKER_03: Uh you know, I'm certainly not gonna go uh absolutist on uh on this show.
- 1:01:06SPEAKER_03: Because if you are a betting person, your your money would be on Republicans to retain the House, but probably lose the Senate.
- 1:01:13SPEAKER_03: I hope it's different.
- 1:01:14SPEAKER_03: I hope these polls are wrong.
- 1:01:16SPEAKER_03: Everybody across the board has been saying that you know what?
- 1:01:19SPEAKER_03: Uh these polls are incredibly uh hard to track right now.
- 1:01:24SPEAKER_03: Uh Dick Morris, whose opinion I don't trust all that much.
- 1:01:27SPEAKER_03: Um we had Newt Gingrich last week we were talking about this as well.
- 1:01:30SPEAKER_03: All right, uh, let's go ahead and usher in the second hour of the show officially.
- 1:01:55SPEAKER_03: We had a blast that rolled in here on the John Justice show presented by American Experiment.
- 1:01:59SPEAKER_03: Just simply said, this show is so damn fun to listen to.
- 1:02:03SPEAKER_03: Keep it up, sir.
- 1:02:04SPEAKER_03: Thank you for that.
- 1:02:06SPEAKER_03: I wanted to play it earlier because I was gonna drop in one of the new parodies, but now that we're kicking off a new hour, I got to get to materials.
- 1:02:11SPEAKER_03: So those are coming up a little bit later on.
- 1:02:14SPEAKER_03: As a matter of fact, for those that you are watching on the video streams, uh whether it's MyFeed on X, uh, Center of the American Experiment, Facebook, and YouTube, uh, I think what I'm gonna do is actually play the videos on the stream coming up towards the uh towards the end of the show today.
- 1:02:28SPEAKER_03: Also had a comment that rolled in.
- 1:02:29SPEAKER_03: We were talking about uh the flock cameras with Andrew Langer a moment ago.
- 1:02:33SPEAKER_03: Uh you're right about the Flocka camera thing.
- 1:02:35SPEAKER_03: The Flocca is one of several brands that are being used right now.
- 1:02:38SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's just one of the and again, it's not to say it's not controversial and the concerns about the constitutionality or lack thereof of these surveillance cameras isn't relevant.
- 1:02:51SPEAKER_03: It just is to say that we do live in an incredibly superficial world wherein a lot of this stuff ends up getting a lot more traction because of superficial things, like this being Flock cameras.
- 1:03:02SPEAKER_03: Well, no.
- 1:03:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they are made by other companies.
- 1:03:05SPEAKER_03: It's just flock and it's taking all the heat on this.
- 1:03:08SPEAKER_03: But like I said, neither here nor there regarding the concerns and the commentary um around it.
- 1:03:13SPEAKER_03: Uh a couple quick items we didn't talk about uh last hour.
- 1:03:16SPEAKER_03: Uh let's see.
- 1:03:17SPEAKER_03: We got more, you know, the situation with Iran continues.
- 1:03:20SPEAKER_03: I know we're sending over more carriers regarding trying to put a stop to this.
- 1:03:25SPEAKER_03: Gas prices are coming down, though, which is interesting.
- 1:03:27SPEAKER_03: Part of my prediction is coming true.
- 1:03:30SPEAKER_03: Um over the weekend, there was some 98 or 99% of the Strait of Ormuz was open and free from any attacks from Iran right now.
- 1:03:40SPEAKER_03: And so the the ships are moving, the oil is moving, and so it looks like it's already having a positive impact ahead of the elections.
- 1:03:50SPEAKER_03: And I kind of expected that to happen, that this administration was going to do everything it could regarding the situation in Iran that I still feel is a worthy effort, but to try to mitigate the cost of items ahead of when people officially go uh to the polls.
- 1:04:05SPEAKER_03: So not a huge, uh not a hugely surprising uh development, but a development uh none the uh nonetheless.
- 1:04:12SPEAKER_03: Also, um UK is continuing to deal with the security fallout surrounding the arrests of the suspects connected to the alleged plot near the British airbase.
- 1:04:22SPEAKER_03: The U.S.
- 1:04:23SPEAKER_03: has also begun moving the B-1 bombers back from the UK because of the security CERNs at the base of operation.
- 1:04:31SPEAKER_03: And I was reading uh over the weekend uh that there was also um further commentary that this may have been a dry, a dry run for the terrorists, which would lend credence.
- 1:04:46SPEAKER_03: Well, the moving of the bombers would lend credibility to that speculation that there's an abundance of concern that these Iranian terrorists, if they are aligned with Iran, because we're still continuing to investigate when it comes to that Israeli flight that was hijacked last week.
- 1:05:03SPEAKER_03: Um, but this could also be the case where it could have been potentially Iranian terrorists.
- 1:05:08SPEAKER_03: So it makes sense that we're moving our bombers and that this was potentially a uh a dry run.
- 1:05:12SPEAKER_03: All right, one more Trump item, and then I want to get into the uh shooting at the Eden Prairie High School homecoming game on uh Friday.
- 1:05:19SPEAKER_03: President Donald Trump renewed his push to make daylight saving time permanent in the United States by trying to step up pressure on Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas, actually going so far as to release his personal cell phone number of the Senate intelligence chair so supporters could go and call it.
- 1:05:38SPEAKER_03: I have uh a clip of Trump talking about this very uh this very issue.
- 1:05:43SPEAKER_55: We want to get away from this ridiculous way and custom of uh every twice a year turning your clock back, turning your clock forward, being late for dinner, being late for very important meetings.
- 1:05:58SPEAKER_55: It's ridiculous.
- 1:06:07SPEAKER_55: Right now we're sitting at uh we'll be done it'll be one of the same spots uh you have fighting you have not you have life for the and hopefully we can get holding it holding it we have time ago we find out we have the light uh changing flocks twice it's a lot of work for a lot of people that's running around for two days changing all the flocks in the house it's an easy win and I'm not even talking about for the Republican Senate, but the Senate was just a very bipartisan issue.
- 1:08:12SPEAKER_55: And Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas, a state that I won by 35 or 40 points, I don't know by a lot.
- 1:08:20SPEAKER_55: Uh he's gotta do it.
- 1:08:22SPEAKER_03: He's so damn entertaining.
- 1:08:24SPEAKER_03: I just say that.
- 1:08:28SPEAKER_03: That that clip, I just I was reminded of the ridiculousness of the banning of the media from inside of the White House that took place.
- 1:08:38SPEAKER_03: I mean, it seems like a lifetime ago now.
- 1:08:39SPEAKER_03: It's just a couple of weeks ago.
- 1:08:41SPEAKER_03: Where they just banned the special access.
- 1:08:45SPEAKER_03: Like it's like it's almost as if the president doesn't need to do that.
- 1:08:48SPEAKER_03: I know we send some he was sending a message and it caused a ster, it you know, caused a bunch of controversy.
- 1:08:53SPEAKER_03: But his willingness to just talk and just talk and talk and give his thoughts just whenever it really speaks to just how overblown the media was and getting as upset as they did over losing that special uh access.
- 1:09:09SPEAKER_03: I got a uh comment that rolled into the blaster line.
- 1:09:12SPEAKER_03: I'm against daylight saving time, I'm pro-natural time.
- 1:09:16SPEAKER_03: You know, the one uh that all the animals follow and the seasons follow, and the planet and the stars follow.
- 1:09:23SPEAKER_03: That's right.
- 1:09:25unknown: Okay.
- 1:09:26SPEAKER_03: Uh somebody else wrote, uh simple question.
- 1:09:29SPEAKER_03: Uh, can you tell me why they want to go to daylight saving time instead of standard time?
- 1:09:34SPEAKER_03: You would think it would be better to have the time in the morning in the winter for traffic and safety of children.
- 1:09:39SPEAKER_03: It's probably the only time I've completely disagreed with the president on uh something.
- 1:09:44SPEAKER_03: I don't know the specificity.
- 1:09:46SPEAKER_03: Uh listen, I don't give a rip either way.
- 1:09:48SPEAKER_03: I I would like it to stop.
- 1:09:49SPEAKER_03: Let me just put it that way.
- 1:09:50SPEAKER_03: I don't care which version you adopt.
- 1:09:53SPEAKER_03: I I just I just want the this whole changing of the clocks tip to end.
- 1:09:58SPEAKER_03: Um now again, it's all very personal for people.
- 1:10:01SPEAKER_03: I'm not gonna open up the blaster line for a bunch of comments on daylight saving time because much like the abortion issue used to be, it's kind of futile to go in argument because people's minds are set and so much of this is completely and totally subjective.
- 1:10:15SPEAKER_03: It makes no difference to me with the schedule that I keep.
- 1:10:19SPEAKER_03: My alarm goes off at 2 30 in the morning.
- 1:10:21SPEAKER_03: I'm driving into work when it's dark.
- 1:10:24SPEAKER_03: I'm going to bed when it's still light out.
- 1:10:26SPEAKER_03: I the changing of the clocks is gonna do very, very little to affect me and my life.
- 1:10:31SPEAKER_03: That's why it's a subjective issue, because I'm unique and I'm different.
- 1:10:34SPEAKER_03: Mom always said I was special, and she's right.
- 1:10:37SPEAKER_03: I am special.
- 1:10:38SPEAKER_03: This is another way that I'm special.
- 1:10:40SPEAKER_03: Somebody else wrote in uh sun up to sundown.
- 1:10:43SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 1:10:46SPEAKER_03: Let's go here.
- 1:10:47SPEAKER_19: Hey John, former neighbor Mike here, love President Trump's lingo.
- 1:10:52SPEAKER_19: This combodulation is almost as fun as listening to mutalization.
- 1:10:57SPEAKER_19: This combodulation maybe has a shot to be phone in Webster's disc dictionary.
- 1:11:02SPEAKER_19: I don't think uh mutilization has quite made it yet.
- 1:11:05SPEAKER_19: But maybe because of him it will.
- 1:11:06SPEAKER_19: See ya.
- 1:11:07SPEAKER_03: All right, so I want to get into uh what took place on Friday.
- 1:11:12SPEAKER_03: Two teams were shot Friday night at Eden Prairie High School homecoming football game against Minitaka.
- 1:11:17SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna give you the initial story here from uh Alpha News, and we'll continue this throughout the show this morning.
- 1:11:23SPEAKER_03: Uh we have Ryan Wilson, Lieutenant Governor candidate.
- 1:11:25SPEAKER_03: He'll be joining us at 7:30.
- 1:11:27SPEAKER_03: We're gonna talk about Lisa Damis um recent press conference regarding her plan for safety and security here in uh Minnesota.
- 1:11:37SPEAKER_03: Uh so this will be a part of the conversation, obviously.
- 1:11:40SPEAKER_03: Crime Watch Minneapolis began receiving multiple messages and video clips about 9 p.m.
- 1:11:45SPEAKER_03: indicating the game was being evacuated amid the smell of gunpowder and law enforcement from multiple agencies arriving on the scene.
- 1:11:53SPEAKER_03: I actually have audio um of the announcers at the game uh telling people to evacuate.
- 1:11:58SPEAKER_03: We'll share that with you coming up.
- 1:12:00SPEAKER_03: Uh, Eden Prairie Police released a brief statement indicating injuries were non-life threatening.
- 1:12:05SPEAKER_03: Two individuals shot, and this is again early reporting on this, shot and transported to Hennepin Healthcare with non-life threatening injuries.
- 1:12:13SPEAKER_03: Uh neither victim is a student at Eden Prairie or Minnetonka High Schools.
- 1:12:17SPEAKER_03: The shooting is believed to be targeted.
- 1:12:19SPEAKER_03: No arrests were made.
- 1:12:20SPEAKER_03: As a matter of fact, they're apparently looking for a getaway car that was involved in this.
- 1:12:26SPEAKER_03: I'll have further details.
- 1:12:28SPEAKER_03: Uh there's an active investigation continuing.
- 1:12:31SPEAKER_03: Law enforcement told Alpha News and senior reporter Liz Collin that Somali gangs were responsible, despite what Scary Moriarty has said recently.
- 1:12:40SPEAKER_35: There are no roving gangs of Somali people in this community harassing, threatening, doing anything to any of our community members.
- 1:12:51SPEAKER_35: And let me repeat that again because I've repeated it again often.
- 1:12:55SPEAKER_35: There are no roving gangs of Somalis targeting or harassing or doing anything inappropriate to any community members.
- 1:13:03SPEAKER_35: Those are simply lies.
- 1:13:05SPEAKER_35: It is not true.
- 1:13:07SPEAKER_03: Until until they do.
- 1:13:12SPEAKER_03: I have multiple versions of it.
- 1:13:14SPEAKER_03: I have foes of the show that are actually talking about this as well.
- 1:13:17SPEAKER_03: Although they're giving ridiculous click baity commentary.
- 1:13:20SPEAKER_03: I'll share it with you here in a second.
- 1:13:22SPEAKER_03: Uh House Majority Web Tom Emmer said Somali gangs are terrorizing our communities, putting people's lives at risk, to which your most self-proclaimed noteworthy Minneapolis apologists are calling him a racist for just speaking the truth on this particular issue.
- 1:13:38SPEAKER_03: Pat Garofalo wrote, I want my Minnesota back.
- 1:13:42SPEAKER_03: Ridiculous that tonight's Eden Prairie versus Minnetonka football game had to be canceled during the second half because of gunfire.
- 1:13:49SPEAKER_03: This sort of poop, he used the more harsher word.
- 1:13:54SPEAKER_03: It's streaming, but I'm trying to keep it clean.
- 1:13:57SPEAKER_03: This sort of uh stuff happens in Chicago and Detroit, not here.
- 1:14:01SPEAKER_03: I want my Minnesota back.
- 1:14:02SPEAKER_03: Except now it's happening here.
- 1:14:04SPEAKER_03: The Republican Party of Minnesota chairman Alex Plekish has said Minnesotans deserve leaders who back our police, confront gang violence, and demand consequences for uh criminals.
- 1:14:16SPEAKER_48: John stabbed from Dallas all.
- 1:14:20SPEAKER_48: Um, I'm formerly from Eastern Prairie.
- 1:14:23SPEAKER_48: My mom still lives right across from the high school.
- 1:14:27SPEAKER_48: She says it was quite a scene on Friday night.
- 1:14:29SPEAKER_03: And um I'm gonna have to stop this here.
- 1:14:31SPEAKER_03: I'm sorry, I I would have loved to have heard your comments, but unfortunately, uh the quality uh just isn't um isn't allowing that.
- 1:14:38SPEAKER_03: Let's go here.
- 1:14:39SPEAKER_40: Good morning, John.
- 1:14:40SPEAKER_40: I tried to stay off social media this weekend because I had lots to do.
- 1:14:43SPEAKER_40: But the first thing that I saw when I went on later last night was a post from a man who lives in Minneapolis, and everybody commenting on his post was denying the fact, as was he, that the Somali gangs were part of the Eden Prairie shootout recently in the news.
- 1:15:04SPEAKER_40: They're just flat out denying it and saying authorities are lying, and everybody is right in step with all the liberals in the state.
- 1:15:12SPEAKER_40: That how do they know it's Somali gangs?
- 1:15:15SPEAKER_40: And it's it's just the brainwash goes so deep.
- 1:15:23SPEAKER_03: Well, and it was uh and it was Somali gangs.
- 1:15:27SPEAKER_03: I'm looking at the story right here from Channel 5.
- 1:15:29SPEAKER_03: Three independent law enforcement sources, all confirmed to five eyewitness news that the shooting is related to Somali gang activity.
- 1:15:38SPEAKER_03: It doesn't get much more specific than that.
- 1:15:42SPEAKER_03: Alright, so we'll have further details on this coming up in just a moment here on the John uh Justice Show, presented by American Experiments, 651-964-0294.
- 1:15:52SPEAKER_03: And I want to remind you right now there is an amazing opportunity for you to get your life back on track.
- 1:15:58SPEAKER_03: You get to eat the food that you want to eat all while losing the weight.
- 1:16:03SPEAKER_03: I've lost over 30 pounds on this amazing program.
- 1:16:06SPEAKER_03: I'm just wrapping up the second round on the program.
- 1:16:08SPEAKER_03: And as a matter of fact, I was talking with Melinda in detail about this uh yesterday.
- 1:16:13SPEAKER_03: The change in my diet.
- 1:16:16SPEAKER_03: Yes, I still crave those things that I love, but I also know how moderation is key.
- 1:16:21SPEAKER_03: And because I'm eating food with one ingredient, and that's food, that's what this program is all about.
- 1:16:26SPEAKER_03: You go to the grocery store, you get to choose the food that you want to eat with the Neutrowave program.
- 1:16:32SPEAKER_03: Go into your pantry, look at the ingredients.
- 1:16:35SPEAKER_03: Right?
- 1:16:36SPEAKER_03: That's not food, it's chemicals.
- 1:16:38SPEAKER_03: On this program, you just you eat food, food with one ingredient, and you can still make it taste great.
- 1:16:43SPEAKER_03: They have amazing recipes, but I found all new meals that I can eat and keep the weight off and continue to lose weight as well.
- 1:16:51SPEAKER_03: I it's an amazing program.

- 1:17:33SPEAKER_03: No pills, no shots with Neutrawave.
- 1:17:36SPEAKER_03: Individual results may vary.
- 1:17:37SPEAKER_50: You've heard about Education Minnesota, the statewide teachers' union that's affiliated with Randy Weingarten's American Federation of Teachers.
- 1:17:46SPEAKER_50: Well, they're at it again.
- 1:17:48SPEAKER_50: They have endorsed their slate of candidates in the Eastern Carver County School Board race.
- 1:17:53SPEAKER_50: To see whose campaigns Education Minnesota and the local teachers union, the Chaska Education Association, are funding, visit reelectjoeescott.com and check the blog section.

- 1:18:23SPEAKER_49: Ideology becomes policy.
- 1:18:25SPEAKER_49: We need to keep these outside ideologies away from our children.
- 1:18:30SPEAKER_49: These national interests are going to have to get through me to get to your kids.
- 1:18:35SPEAKER_50: The tab was paid for by re-elect Joe Scott.
- 1:18:38SPEAKER_03: Hey, it's John Justice.
- 1:18:40SPEAKER_03: If you need help with your home, call the team your neighbors trust.
- 1:18:43SPEAKER_03: It's the team that I trust.
- 1:18:44SPEAKER_03: It's the team that Catherine Johnson here at American Experiment Trusts.
- 1:18:48SPEAKER_03: She called, got an appointment.
- 1:18:50SPEAKER_03: They came over immediately to address the issue with her house.

- 1:20:24SPEAKER_03: What if it doesn't sell, right?
- 1:20:25SPEAKER_03: That's why upfront cash offers can sound so appealing.
- 1:20:29SPEAKER_03: But what if you could sell your home without fear and without leaving equity on the table?

- 1:21:05SPEAKER_03: Eden Prairie students will return to school today after the shooting outside the homecoming game that injured two people.
- 1:21:12SPEAKER_03: The district is providing additional support and addressing hateful messages targeting the Somali people.
- 1:21:21SPEAKER_03: Listen, that's quite the spin.
- 1:21:24SPEAKER_03: Considering that Eden Prairie PD, as I mentioned a moment ago, specifically said this was Somali gang related, but now it's already defaulted to Republicans pounce.
- 1:21:35SPEAKER_03: Or whatever nonsense you're about to listen here on the blaster line to 651-964-0294.
- 1:21:44SPEAKER_54: Hey, more than Zeke Brainerd.
- 1:21:45SPEAKER_54: It's a disgrace that the Minnesota lame stream media won't point out that the shooting was done by Somalian gangs.
- 1:21:52SPEAKER_54: It's also a disgrace that Republican governor candidate Lisa Damis won't call them out either.
- 1:21:57SPEAKER_54: As expected, she's a coward that won't.
- 1:21:59SPEAKER_54: Instead, sending her white running mate, Ryan, to call it out for her.
- 1:22:04SPEAKER_03: What are you what are you what are you what are you talking about?
- 1:22:09SPEAKER_03: It happened on Friday.
- 1:22:12SPEAKER_03: Uh Ryan Wilson had requested, I'm assuming that's what you're referring to.
- 1:22:16SPEAKER_03: It's just so typical of leftists to go and say, this thing hasn't happened, so I'm going to jump to this conclusion.
- 1:22:26SPEAKER_03: I mean, it's the weekend.
- 1:22:28SPEAKER_03: This happened on Friday night.
- 1:22:31SPEAKER_03: So have you been following every single media outlet to make this claim?
- 1:22:36SPEAKER_03: How do you know that Ryan Wilson wasn't scheduled that that's what you're referring to to come on this show prior to all of this taking place?
- 1:22:44SPEAKER_03: Which is exactly what happened.
- 1:22:47SPEAKER_03: He'd actually reached out to me before this event even occurred to come on the show to talk about the safety plan that they rolled out yesterday.
- 1:22:57SPEAKER_03: But you know, again, I should keep my expectations, you know, beneath ground level when it comes to uh Mildred.
- 1:23:04SPEAKER_54: We want to hear Lisa, Lisa be racist, not Ryan, because she's a political hack and it's her turn.
- 1:23:11SPEAKER_54: You can thank Tom Emmer for this invasion of Somalians.
- 1:23:14SPEAKER_54: He helped make that happen.
- 1:23:16SPEAKER_54: By the way, didn't have MAGA defending gang, a brutal gang rape on my bingo card, but that's pretty disgusting.
- 1:23:26SPEAKER_54: Holy moly.
- 1:23:27SPEAKER_54: Off the rails.
- 1:23:28SPEAKER_54: Have a great day, everyone.
- 1:23:29SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:23:30SPEAKER_03: Uh why am I not surprised that Mildred is looking at the Cornell 7 situation through that particular lens, that of a white liberal woman.
- 1:23:43SPEAKER_03: I just all right.
- 1:23:45SPEAKER_03: Uh let's get to uh some of uh your thoughts of this morning.
- 1:23:48SPEAKER_03: Let's go back to the blaster line, 651-964-0294.
- 1:23:52SPEAKER_07: Hey John, I think that the Guyne Eaton Prairie thing probably is the best thing that can happen to Minnesota.
- 1:23:58SPEAKER_07: These are the people who are supporting all this activity.
- 1:24:01SPEAKER_07: They don't want cops, they don't want to get rid of fraud.
- 1:24:04SPEAKER_07: If they're not going to change their vote, these communities deserve to be destroyed.
- 1:24:08SPEAKER_07: This is what has to happen.
- 1:24:10SPEAKER_07: If nobody does anything about it, we're all done.
- 1:24:16SPEAKER_06: John, uh I think you're asking the wrong question with regard to these Somali gang shootings.
- 1:24:22SPEAKER_06: Shouldn't you be asking what we as the majority population of Minnesota have done that would cause these poor Somale gang people to organize and act violent?
- 1:24:35SPEAKER_06: Let's look inside.
- 1:24:37SPEAKER_03: You know, uh the sarcasm from you guys that watch and listen to the show, you've you've trained me well.
- 1:24:45SPEAKER_03: Because I'm reading the transcript over here and I'm like, I haven't even gotten into the topic really deeply yet.
- 1:24:52SPEAKER_03: I haven't even really begun to share my deeper opinions, but then I go, oh, it's because it's because you're you're going to make uh to make uh jokey jokes.
- 1:25:01SPEAKER_03: That's why.
- 1:25:01SPEAKER_03: All right, let's go here to the blaster line.
- 1:25:04SPEAKER_14: Hi, John.
- 1:25:05SPEAKER_14: It's Chad from Dell and Old.
- 1:25:06SPEAKER_14: Hey Chad.
- 1:25:07SPEAKER_14: Um haven't talked to you in a long time.
- 1:25:09SPEAKER_14: I'll try this again.
- 1:25:10SPEAKER_14: My quality was banned the last time.
- 1:25:12SPEAKER_14: Oh yeah, thank you.
- 1:25:12SPEAKER_14: But I used to live in Eden Prairie after I graduated high school about 35 years ago.
- 1:25:17SPEAKER_14: And um still lived the craft from the high school.
- 1:25:21SPEAKER_14: And there were quite a few news on Friday night as we all know.
- 1:25:25SPEAKER_14: And uh a couple of my good friends from high school are even very crazy nowadays.
- 1:25:31SPEAKER_14: And they confirmed it right away for me.
- 1:25:36SPEAKER_14: And um anyway, yeah, that's about it, but it was interesting to see how the news and people commenting on Facebook and stuff were trying to blame it on white people again, of course.
- 1:25:47SPEAKER_14: And only the gun.
- 1:25:49SPEAKER_14: The guns did it all.
- 1:25:50SPEAKER_14: But anyway, have a great day.
- 1:25:52SPEAKER_14: I'm glad you're back.
- 1:25:53SPEAKER_14: And um okay, bye-bye.
- 1:25:57SPEAKER_03: Thank you for the comment.
- 1:25:57SPEAKER_03: Uh thank you for leaving another comment too, and uh providing better audio.
- 1:26:02SPEAKER_03: I greatly appreciate it.
- 1:26:03SPEAKER_36: I think that you've claimed mental patience from Rainbow.
- 1:26:07SPEAKER_36: But honestly, the leaf that this person comes here I mean it's kind of awful actually because I am good at jump just because of how mentally in pain he is, but he whatever.
- 1:26:22SPEAKER_36: Um but to come on and be saying things about Ryan.
- 1:26:28SPEAKER_36: And he hasn't even been on the program yet, and even leaves up, hadn't heard anything that he said over the weekend.
- 1:26:35SPEAKER_36: So wow.
- 1:26:37SPEAKER_36: Have a good day.
- 1:26:39SPEAKER_03: I uh uh for those that are watching on the stream, by the way, I have uh grabbed some uh appropriate graphics to use when foes of the show go and leave uh comments.
- 1:26:47SPEAKER_03: Uh speaking of Ryan Wilson, he's actually sitting in studio.
- 1:26:50SPEAKER_03: We'll be talking with him in uh just a moment here on the John Justice show.
- 1:26:53SPEAKER_03: I do want to set the stage ahead of my conversation uh with uh Ryan.
- 1:26:57SPEAKER_03: I got a couple of clips that I want to play.
- 1:26:59SPEAKER_03: Before I do, I also want to share this story.
- 1:27:01SPEAKER_03: Um just kind of put it in the back of your head.
- 1:27:03SPEAKER_03: Uh I don't have further details than what Bring Me the News has here, but just talking about safety uh concerns here in Minnesota, whether it is Somali gang activity and what happened at the uh high school on a Friday.
- 1:27:15SPEAKER_03: There's this story, too.
- 1:27:16SPEAKER_03: A man is in custody after two abduction uh attempts in the northern Twin Cities suburbs uh earlier in the week, one of which resulted in the victim being sexually assaulted.
- 1:27:28SPEAKER_03: The Anoka County Sheriff's Office said it was called uh to two attempted abductions on Monday in Ramsey and Coon Rapids.
- 1:27:37SPEAKER_03: Ultimately, it led to the arrest of a 20-year-old Ramsey man on Friday.
- 1:27:43SPEAKER_03: So the first incident was reported in uh in Ramsey at 2 05.
- 1:27:47SPEAKER_03: The teenager, a teenage female, reported that a man in a car had tried to abduct her as she was walking near Alpine Drive North.
- 1:27:55SPEAKER_03: No suspect was found despite a search of the area.
- 1:27:58SPEAKER_03: Then at 10 25 p.m., the Report of a similar abduction attempt was made in Cooner Rapids.
- 1:28:04SPEAKER_03: The victim, again, a teenage male, told police that a man in a car had chased her and then had ended up sexually assaulting her near North Dale Boulevard Northwest.
- 1:28:15SPEAKER_03: Investigators were able to determine that the two incidents were related and filed search warrants for the license plate reader data, eventually identifying the suspect.
- 1:28:24SPEAKER_03: Now he was taken into custody on Friday, has yet to be formally charged.
- 1:28:28SPEAKER_03: Of course, this circumstance comes on the heels of that horrific story that we heard of the woman that was taken captive.
- 1:28:34SPEAKER_03: She was sexually assaulted last week.
- 1:28:36SPEAKER_03: Isolated cases, but they do go and expose the growing concern of safety and security here in the Twin Cities and in Minnesota.
- 1:28:45SPEAKER_03: Whether it's individuals like this going out there and singularly it would appear, attempting these horrible acts, or the larger issue of a gang problem that's growing and putting our uh schools in uh in danger.
- 1:28:59SPEAKER_03: So uh last week uh Lisa Damath unveiled a public safety plan.
- 1:29:03SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna share with you some audio from the press conference yesterday.
- 1:29:06SPEAKER_03: We'll talk with Ryan Wilson here in just a moment on the John Justice.
- 1:29:18SPEAKER_53: We've also more recently heard about shootings in Edyna by gangs located very near churches.
- 1:29:27SPEAKER_53: We hear stories of hundreds of cars being vandalized in a given night with zero accountability.
- 1:29:34SPEAKER_53: And we have all heard about Tim Walls and Keith Ellison pardoning a child rapist to allow that person to avoid deportation.
- 1:29:43SPEAKER_53: That pardon, to be very clear, was something that I adamantly condemned immediately.
- 1:29:49SPEAKER_53: I made it clear that I would not have pardoned a child rapist or any rapist.
- 1:29:57SPEAKER_53: It took my opponent, Amy Klobuchar, ten days to decide that it wasn't politically favorable for her to stand with Governor Walls on that issue.
- 1:30:06SPEAKER_53: And she half-heartedly said that she wouldn't have pardoned this child rapist.
- 1:30:10SPEAKER_53: But she actually left the door open to potentially pardoning other future child rapists.
- 1:30:17SPEAKER_53: We don't need leaders like Amy Clovishar who waffle in the wind.
- 1:30:24SPEAKER_03: So as we uh continue to get ready for Ryan Wilson, I want to play one more clip.
- 1:30:27SPEAKER_03: There was a debate that was supposed to occur heading into the weekend, um, but uh it didn't.
- 1:30:33SPEAKER_03: This, you know, these issues certainly would have been important to talk about.
- 1:30:36SPEAKER_00: A final reminder that we planned for the two major party candidates for governor to appear side by side to answer.
- 1:30:42SPEAKER_03: And this is Tom Hauser, by the way, on uh Channel 5.
- 1:30:45SPEAKER_00: Answer our questions at these podiums, but Amy Clobuchard declined our invitation to appear.
- 1:30:51SPEAKER_00: But our thanks to Republican Lisa Damath for agreeing to take our questions.
- 1:30:56SPEAKER_00: Of course, Lisa Damath, the current Speaker of the House in the Minnesota legislature.
- 1:31:01SPEAKER_00: Speaker Damuth, thank you for being here.
- 1:31:03SPEAKER_00: Thank you, Tom.
- 1:31:03SPEAKER_00: Let's start with some new ground that we haven't covered with our previous two candidates.
- 1:31:07SPEAKER_00: That's education, which is very important to all of our viewers.
- 1:31:11SPEAKER_00: A new report out just this week shows that fewer than half of Minnesota students are proficient in math and reading.
- 1:31:18SPEAKER_00: What would you propose to do as governor to boost those scores and boost education in Minnesota?
- 1:31:25SPEAKER_53: Well, thank you, Tom, and I really appreciate that question on education.
- 1:31:29SPEAKER_53: As a former school board member before my time in the legislature, education matters very much.
- 1:31:34SPEAKER_53: And I have been talking about our falling scores over the last number of years.
- 1:31:39SPEAKER_53: Our kids are not achieving what they need to across state across the state with our educational outcomes.
- 1:31:45SPEAKER_53: But as your next governor, what my plan is to make sure that that funding is fair and it can be appropriated as properly needed by the school district.
- 1:31:55SPEAKER_53: So that local control and fair funding.
- 1:31:59SPEAKER_53: If we invest more into the classrooms, we're going to have better outcomes.
- 1:32:03SPEAKER_53: The science of reading is a proven method of making sure that kids have the literacy to really let them understand how to read until third grade, and then after that, they are reading to learn.
- 1:32:15SPEAKER_53: So focusing on literacy and then improving our math and science and making sure that that funding is flexible.
- 1:32:22SPEAKER_53: We are looking at school districts that are struggling right now with their budgets because of mandates, and we need to pull those back also.
- 1:32:29SPEAKER_00: Now I did read some Democrats this week said that Operation Metro Surge impacted these scores because many students in many of these school districts were traumatized or they missed school.
- 1:32:39SPEAKER_00: Is there some credence to that?
- 1:32:41SPEAKER_53: You know, I think we have to look at the falling scores under the failed WALS administration, Tom.
- 1:32:46SPEAKER_53: Our school scores for students have been dropping since Governor Walls got into office.
- 1:32:51SPEAKER_53: And I have to say, Amy Klobuchar would be no different with the outcomes that we need.
- 1:32:57SPEAKER_53: But I think when we have less mandates on schools, which is what you've seen Governor Walls and the legislature do, putting more mandates on, more pressures, instead of keeping teachers and kids learning in the classroom, they are paying people with unemployment for hourly workers, paid family medical leave, earned sick and safe time, those things, and it's actually pulling that learning out of the classroom.
- 1:33:21SPEAKER_53: Discipline, as appropriate, also is something we have to focus on.
- 1:33:25SPEAKER_53: More kids need help, and we have to make sure that there's that control in the classroom that is needed to focus on the fundamentals of learning.
- 1:33:33SPEAKER_03: And again, that was uh Lisa Damath uh talking with uh Tom Hauser on uh Channel 5.
- 1:33:37SPEAKER_39: Good morning.
- 1:33:38SPEAKER_39: Sue from Savage here.
- 1:33:40SPEAKER_39: What the fudge, Mildred?
- 1:33:42SPEAKER_39: Lisa Damath came out with her safety plan on Thursday and she mentions all the crimes by the Somalian community.
- 1:33:48SPEAKER_39: Secondly, how do you feel about your candidates not showing up to the KFC debate last week?
- 1:33:55SPEAKER_39: If they can't show up to debate, they won't show up to work.
- 1:34:00SPEAKER_03: Well, let's uh let's find out what uh Ryan Wilson, Lieutenant Governor candidate with uh Lisa Damath, uh, has to say on these uh various uh issues.
- 1:34:07SPEAKER_03: Thank you so much for coming in in this early hour, Ryan.
- 1:34:09SPEAKER_03: It's always uh great to uh to see you.
- 1:34:11SPEAKER_03: Always great to be here.
- 1:34:12SPEAKER_03: Thanks for having me.
- 1:34:12SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so we had some criticisms.
- 1:34:13SPEAKER_03: Somebody was uh foe of the show, was very upset that uh you were coming on to uh to talk and it wasn't Lisa Damath.
- 1:34:19SPEAKER_03: And why has she been uh silent on this issue of what transpired at the high school on uh on Friday?
- 1:34:26SPEAKER_03: Did Lisa make any comments over the weekend regarding this?
- 1:34:28SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah, she made multiple comments.
- 1:34:29SPEAKER_56: She made, I think, two on Saturday alone.
- 1:34:31SPEAKER_56: I think she made another one on Sunday, and she called it out.
- 1:34:34SPEAKER_56: She said it what it was.
- 1:34:35SPEAKER_56: You know, and there's a lot of people out there that aren't willing to acknowledge that we have a gang problem.
- 1:34:38SPEAKER_56: And Lisa said this particular case is a Somali gang problem.
- 1:34:42SPEAKER_56: And if we don't acknowledge what it is, how can we ever change it?
- 1:34:45SPEAKER_56: And that you know, this is a pattern with Amy Klobuchar, right?
- 1:34:48SPEAKER_56: We see this time and again where put the head in the sand, do nothing, say nothing.
- 1:34:52SPEAKER_56: I mean, how long did it take for them to acknowledge that fraud existed in this state, right?
- 1:34:56SPEAKER_56: That we had a fraud problem.
- 1:34:57SPEAKER_56: Here we are, we've got a crime problem.
- 1:34:59SPEAKER_56: We all know that it's been going on.
- 1:35:01SPEAKER_56: Well, it started before you know the the riots in 2020, but it's exploded since then.
- 1:35:05SPEAKER_56: And we're seeing the effects of defund the police, politicians having an effect on Minneapolis that spills over into all the surrounding suburbs.
- 1:35:12SPEAKER_56: And these last couple weeks we've seen the effects of that.
- 1:35:14SPEAKER_03: Uh, do me a favor and pull that uh that microphone closer, uh closer to you there.
- 1:35:18SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:35:19SPEAKER_03: You gotta you gotta eat the you gotta eat the mics here on the John Justice show presented by American Experiment.
- 1:35:24SPEAKER_03: So um Dustin Gregie had put this up on X, and I was curious whether or not you had confirmation.
- 1:35:29SPEAKER_03: Um sold Amy Klobishar had apparently told the media that she couldn't debate on Friday because she was gonna be in DC, but there are sources saying um that on Friday morning she was actually in Little Canada uh at a meeting with a lobbyist.
- 1:35:42SPEAKER_03: Can you confirm uh that?
- 1:35:43SPEAKER_03: Do you know do you know any of the rationale of why she skipped that debate?
- 1:35:46SPEAKER_56: We don't know the rationale.
- 1:35:47SPEAKER_56: We I can confirm that she was in Minnesota Friday, including Friday morning.
- 1:35:51SPEAKER_56: And uh I think she owes it to Minnesota to say why she didn't want to show up.
- 1:35:55SPEAKER_56: And I hope that the media asked for that.
- 1:35:57SPEAKER_56: And she should have to answer the question for Minnesotans why were you here in this state Friday morning, all of Friday, Friday night, but you couldn't make it over to St.
- 1:36:06SPEAKER_56: Paul to make the case for why you should be the next governor.
- 1:36:10SPEAKER_56: You know who made that case?
- 1:36:11SPEAKER_56: Lisa Damuth.
- 1:36:12SPEAKER_56: And at the end of the day, this election is going to come down to do you like the status quo?
- 1:36:15SPEAKER_56: Do you want more of the same?
- 1:36:17SPEAKER_56: Or do you want a fresh start?
- 1:36:18SPEAKER_56: Do you want something different?
- 1:36:19SPEAKER_56: Do you want to move forward in this state, whether it be education, whether it be on crime, whether it be on fraud, you know, the list goes on and on.
- 1:36:25SPEAKER_56: And so really it is a it's a it's a status quo or a change election.
- 1:36:28SPEAKER_56: Do you want that fresh start with Lisa?
- 1:36:30SPEAKER_03: I do want to get into your thoughts of what transpired at the uh high school in Eden Prairie.
- 1:36:35SPEAKER_03: Uh first off, though, let's go ahead and start from the uh from the standpoint that a new safety plan uh came out yesterday.
- 1:36:42SPEAKER_03: Uh yourself, uh Lisa Damath, uh gubernatorial candidate.
- 1:36:46SPEAKER_03: Um listen, I'll just hand it over to you.
- 1:36:48SPEAKER_03: Tell us about what the safety plan uh entails and how it is different from what we're currently doing here in Minnesota.
- 1:36:55SPEAKER_56: Actually, it came out Thursday.
- 1:36:56SPEAKER_56: So we yeah, we announced it Thursday.
- 1:36:57SPEAKER_56: So um, and that's because it's something that's important to us.
- 1:37:00SPEAKER_56: It's not something that's opportunistic, it's not just responding to the latest um issue of the day, but it's it's a principled approach.
- 1:37:07SPEAKER_56: And it really gets back to that changing a culture at the top and changing a culture in Minnesota, making sure that before we can talk about things like uh increasing our schools or uh any of the other better outcomes and things that we love about this great state.
- 1:37:20SPEAKER_56: We do have a great state.
- 1:37:21SPEAKER_56: If you don't have a safe state, how can you build on top of that pyramid for all those other things that uh the Minnesotans deserve and expect and want?
- 1:37:29SPEAKER_56: And so we were we rolled out our public safety plan and we went through a list of priorities, and one of those priorities was increased funding to make sure we can do things like tackle gang violence.
- 1:37:39SPEAKER_56: This was Thursday.
- 1:37:39SPEAKER_56: This is again before you know this latest event happened on uh on Friday night, this awful event on Friday night.
- 1:37:45SPEAKER_56: And um, and it just shows that Lisa has her pulse on what the issues are in this state.
- 1:37:49SPEAKER_56: You know, part of that plan was talking with the University of Minnesota.
- 1:37:52SPEAKER_56: You know, uh when I graduated, I'm sure when you graduated too, John, that was the place where people uh wanted to go.
- 1:37:57SPEAKER_56: That was the the place to you know, let's stay in Minnesota.
- 1:38:00SPEAKER_56: I'm gonna go to school here, I'm going to uh raise my family here.
- 1:38:03SPEAKER_56: It's our it's our land grant institution.
- 1:38:05SPEAKER_56: I think it's older than the university or older than Minnesota.
- 1:38:08SPEAKER_56: And it's not safe.
- 1:38:10SPEAKER_56: And so part of that plan is acknowledging that we have a problem.
- 1:38:12SPEAKER_56: These things that are happening in Dinky Town, we have a problem.
- 1:38:15SPEAKER_56: And what did we see?
- 1:38:16SPEAKER_56: Um was it last year or two years ago?
- 1:38:18SPEAKER_56: We saw at a Wizetta high school graduation, and again, this was Somali gang violence with a machine gun.
- 1:38:24SPEAKER_56: Um a parent got shot in the back of the head in broad daylight.
- 1:38:28SPEAKER_56: That's not okay.
- 1:38:29SPEAKER_56: We're seeing events at Mall of America, that's not okay.
- 1:38:32SPEAKER_56: Time we we're seeing um things at the state fair, you know, over and over again.
- 1:38:35SPEAKER_56: We have these issues in this state, and people don't want to address it.
- 1:38:39SPEAKER_56: There's a problem.
- 1:38:39SPEAKER_56: So what this plan does is it lays out how we're gonna make sure that there's more funding for police, there's more, you know, our police are supported, that they're retained.
- 1:38:46SPEAKER_56: Um uh upper Midwest Law Center has been vocal about the number, and they've been suing on this over and over again, how Minneapolis is not meeting their charter with the number of police.
- 1:38:54SPEAKER_56: So, you know, at least it has a plan for that.
- 1:38:56SPEAKER_56: And what is that plan?
- 1:38:57SPEAKER_56: Local government aid.
- 1:38:58SPEAKER_56: So state dollars that go to communities.
- 1:39:01SPEAKER_56: If those dollars aren't going to law enforcement, if they don't have the right complement of police, the appropriate number of police, then those dollars are getting cut off.
- 1:39:08SPEAKER_56: They're gonna be held until they solve their police problem.
- 1:39:11SPEAKER_03: Talking with uh Ryan Wilson, again, Lieutenant Governor candidate with uh Lisa Damath, uh, we'll be getting more into what transpired on uh on Friday and uh thoughts from you listening this morning at 651-964-0294.
- 1:39:25SPEAKER_03: On the issue of funding to go and deal with the gang problem, where would the funding come from and what specifically would the funding go and address to help with the particular issue?
- 1:39:35SPEAKER_56: So that we talked about in our plan about something called violent crime teams.
- 1:39:37SPEAKER_56: They already exist today.
- 1:39:38SPEAKER_56: It's making sure that they have more money to be able to go tackle things like viol like violent crimes, but also organized crime, um, gang crime, these sort of things.
- 1:39:46SPEAKER_56: And so there are programs that are today, but they need the funding to be able to go do that, to be able to work and support in our local communities, to be able to go out and address problems that we know that were there.
- 1:39:54SPEAKER_56: And we, you know, you see Sheriff Fletcher has been vocal on this issue.
- 1:39:57SPEAKER_56: And he said it's you know there's about 300 gang members that he knows of that really are the problem.
- 1:40:02SPEAKER_56: And so law enforcement knows how to do this, they know how to do their job, they need the leaders to be able to support them, and that's really what it comes down to.
- 1:40:09SPEAKER_56: I want to go back to a second there, just so all the listeners and viewers know.
- 1:40:13SPEAKER_56: Um yes, police are funded by local community things like property taxes and and other taxes at this at the county and city level, but there's also general fund money, local government aid that comes in, state dollars that comes into communities like Minneapolis, for example.
- 1:40:27SPEAKER_56: And so people from Brainerd and Bemidji, Rochester, all over the state, are paying in, and some of their money are going to things in the city.
- 1:40:35SPEAKER_56: And Lisa's point and plan is, and she actually had a bill on this in 2020, so it's something she's been talking about for a long time.
- 1:40:41SPEAKER_56: Democrats have been blocking it, um, or Democrats or hasn't been able to advance.
- 1:40:45SPEAKER_56: Um, that money needs to be first going to basic services like law enforcement before it goes to all these other things that cities might want to spend it on.
- 1:40:53SPEAKER_56: Because, you know, the guy in uh Moorhead that's spending money here and going into the general fund and then going back out to Minneapolis, he should get a benefit from that, which includes a safe city.
- 1:41:02SPEAKER_56: Look, when I grew up, I remember going downtown, going to Minneapolis, going to Uptown North Fair.
- 1:41:06SPEAKER_56: My, you know, my my ma, both my parents actually grew up in in Minneapolis.
- 1:41:09SPEAKER_56: And it's something that all of Minnesota should be able to enjoy safely.
- 1:41:14SPEAKER_56: And the Minneapolis residents deserve it, but Minnesota deserves it.
- 1:41:17SPEAKER_56: If we want to have a thriving economy, we have to have a safe large cities in our state.
- 1:41:23SPEAKER_56: We saw that with that precarious state documentary of what was that, about a year ago.
- 1:41:26SPEAKER_56: And it talked about what is the effect of you know these soft on crime, these defund the police, these DSA policies on the economy.
- 1:41:33SPEAKER_56: I mean, yeah, we see these empty buildings, we see empty real estate markets, see businesses leaving, and um if you want more of the same, you know who to vote for.
- 1:41:41SPEAKER_56: That's Amy Klobuchar.
- 1:41:43SPEAKER_56: If people want change, if they want a fresh start, if they want to try something different, then it's Lisa Damuth.
- 1:41:49SPEAKER_03: So we're talking about just to put a finer point on, and I want to get to a few um of the uh voice blasts that have come into 651-964-0294 as we talk with Lieutenant Governor candidate uh Ryan Wilson.
- 1:42:01SPEAKER_03: We're talking about ex uh existing funding, funneling it towards um, in in this case, gang-related task force to deal with the problem, not uh the hiking of taxes.
- 1:42:10SPEAKER_03: Because that's that's the alarm that goes off in my mind when I hear that.
- 1:42:14SPEAKER_56: But let's be clear.
- 1:42:15SPEAKER_56: Lisa Damon has made clear she will not be raising taxes in Minnesota.
- 1:42:18SPEAKER_56: Full stop isn't gonna happen.
- 1:42:20SPEAKER_56: We are taxed enough.
- 1:42:21SPEAKER_56: We got enough money for learing centers in the state.
- 1:42:23SPEAKER_56: We surely have enough money to be able to make sure that our police are safe, that they have the support that they need, so that things like homecomings being canceled doesn't ever have to happen again in this state.
- 1:42:33SPEAKER_03: So let's I want to play a couple of comments that rolled in.
- 1:42:36SPEAKER_03: Um I'll set the stage here.
- 1:42:38SPEAKER_03: Uh this is there's a recur a recurring theme with a few of these, and it is how do we how do we navigate uh the controversy that comes up when we call out specific communities?
- 1:42:48SPEAKER_03: You know, when you look at what's happened with fraud, you had the fraud being perpetuated 90% by the Somali community.
- 1:42:54SPEAKER_03: And in this case, these were Somali gangs that were involved on Friday.
- 1:42:57SPEAKER_03: So um just sort of setting the stage on the comments here uh from uh the friends of the show.
- 1:43:02SPEAKER_03: Let's go ahead and uh hear from you.
- 1:43:03SPEAKER_44: Hey John, uh, if you get a chance, maybe you can ask uh uh Lieutenant Governor Candidate Wilson um to talk about consolidation in our market slash monopoly practices and how that and private equity are affecting our our country and it's not their uh their job in the international level thing, but I truly, truly believe the Republicans are anything.
- 1:43:27SPEAKER_44: They just need to be called out.
- 1:43:32SPEAKER_44: Everyone needs to call it democratic voicely, voice, voice free about not calling out Somali fraud and not calling out the Somali game problem because they're afraid to be called racist.
- 1:43:50SPEAKER_03: There's one more comment along the same lines that I wanted to share this morning.
- 1:43:54SPEAKER_21: Hey, can you please tell Ryan that nothing is gonna get solved in this state unless we look at the facts and start calling the state a state?
- 1:44:02SPEAKER_21: Majority of the these problems are from Somalians.
- 1:44:06SPEAKER_21: Period.
- 1:44:07SPEAKER_21: Say the word.
- 1:44:08SPEAKER_21: I know we need more money for cops, etc.
- 1:44:11SPEAKER_21: Say the problem is Somalians and fix it.
- 1:44:15SPEAKER_21: We're tired of this garbage.
- 1:44:18SPEAKER_21: Thank you.
- 1:44:19SPEAKER_03: Well, and listen, there's truth to that, but it's also a lot more complicated than that, is and then than that as well.
- 1:44:24SPEAKER_03: Um, before I share any of my thoughts, Ryan, uh, would you like to uh to address this a couple of the comments there from the uh friends of the show?
- 1:44:30SPEAKER_56: Yeah, look, at the end of the day, and and this is something this is a big difference you'll see between Lisa Damath and Amy Klobuchar is the willingness to say that there's a problem, but also with the solution to address the problem.
- 1:44:40SPEAKER_56: Amy doesn't have a public safety plan.
- 1:44:42SPEAKER_56: Go to our website today.
- 1:44:43SPEAKER_56: You won't see anything about addressing public safety.
- 1:44:46SPEAKER_56: What does Lisa have?
- 1:44:46SPEAKER_56: How are we going to retain more police?
- 1:44:48SPEAKER_56: The police are already there, they're already trained, how are we going to get new police in?
- 1:44:50SPEAKER_56: How are we going to support our cities?
- 1:44:52SPEAKER_56: How are we going to increase penalties?
- 1:44:53SPEAKER_56: She talked about three strikes as part of our plan, uh, removing the ability to get out of get out of prison early if you've committed three strikes, right?
- 1:45:00SPEAKER_56: And when it goes to fraudster, she talked about 20 years in jail.
- 1:45:03SPEAKER_56: You you steal$100,000 in public welfare, you take away from kids that are are hurting and hungry, you're going to jail for a long time.
- 1:45:11SPEAKER_56: And so having that kind of tough on crime policies and contrasting that with Amy Klobuchar, who doesn't really have a plan.
- 1:45:17SPEAKER_56: And so Amy, you know, look, Lisa will say what it is.
- 1:45:19SPEAKER_56: If it's a mung gang, and we had a problem with that, you know, about a decade ago here in the state, you're going to call that out.
- 1:45:24SPEAKER_56: Right now, and you know, this has been clear.
- 1:45:26SPEAKER_56: The sheriffs have said it, the police have said it, uh, the communities have acknowledged it.
- 1:45:30SPEAKER_56: This is a Somali gang problem.
- 1:45:32SPEAKER_56: You know who won't ever say that this is a Somali gang problem?
- 1:45:34SPEAKER_56: Amy Klobuchar, because she's going to put her head in the sand to pretend it's not there and she wants more of the same.
- 1:45:40SPEAKER_56: And there's a reason that Amy Klobuchar stands with defund the police type, no defund the police type politicians like Keith Ellison, like Ilhan Omar.
- 1:45:49SPEAKER_56: This summer, she stood on stage and nominated Keith Ellison to be the next attorney general, stand shoulder by shoulder, someone who's never apologized or backtracked from the defund the police rhetoric that put us in the position that we are now in this state.
- 1:46:02SPEAKER_56: That is Amy Klobuchar.
- 1:46:03SPEAKER_56: That's who she stands with.
- 1:46:04SPEAKER_03: You know, and I and I I agree with the listeners' assessment.
- 1:46:08SPEAKER_03: It's something that I'll be talking about later on as we dive further.
- 1:46:11SPEAKER_03: Once I'm finished with the conversation here with Ryan Wilson, Lieutenant Governor uh candidate with Lisa Damath.
- 1:46:17SPEAKER_03: Um listen, it's important to go and call out specifically who is perpetuating uh these crimes.
- 1:46:23SPEAKER_03: Uh that being said, it still is an issue that needs to be addressed by, in my opinion, enforcing the law equally with everybody, holding everybody accountable.
- 1:46:32SPEAKER_03: You know, it's within that community that needs to go and address.
- 1:46:36SPEAKER_03: And I think it's important to have conversations about why particular communities may have been more prone to violence or fraud.
- 1:46:44SPEAKER_03: That being said, the mechanisms in which we deal with them are just a matter of dealing with it, regardless of who's out there, that who else who's out there perpetuating these uh these problems.
- 1:46:53SPEAKER_03: Uh, let me ask you, this is something that uh I'll get into later on in the show as well, but it has gained quite a bit of attention over the weekend.
- 1:47:00SPEAKER_03: Um Alpha News actually had this story uh in August of this year, uh a resurfaced video showing uh Senator Amy Clobichar advocating for the Somali remittance process, highlighting her support for the 2014 Money Remittances Improvement Act.
- 1:47:20SPEAKER_03: The legislation was aimed to streamline the remittance process, reduce regulatory burdens for banks, while remittances are crucial for Somali's community.
- 1:47:28SPEAKER_03: Uh concerns exist about their potential misuse by terrorist groups and fraudulent activities.
- 1:47:33SPEAKER_03: There's a sidebar to the story wherein there were American flags that were attached to for people to hold, but they were attached to upside down.
- 1:47:41SPEAKER_03: And at one point, Amy has gone and grabbed one uh and is shown briefly waving it uh during the event.
- 1:47:47SPEAKER_03: Uh, you know, it's unknown whether or not she was aware or but unaware of the situation with the flag.
- 1:47:56SPEAKER_03: Um but I am curious just to kind of get your overall thoughts.
- 1:47:58SPEAKER_03: This story has, you know, made the rounds over the weekend, not just the flag issue with this, but also the remittance process as well.
- 1:48:07SPEAKER_03: So your thoughts on this renewed controversy surrounding Amy Clobichar.
- 1:48:10SPEAKER_56: On the flag, you won't say Lisa Damath or I ever holding it or waving an upside down flag.
- 1:48:13SPEAKER_56: But on the bigger, on the bigger issue of things like remittances, you know, Lisa made clear in her fraud plan that part of what she's going to do is if you're stealing dollars, heck, even if you are on public assistance, and and and Lisa, you see this in in some of the ads and the stories that she's gotten out there.
- 1:48:29SPEAKER_56: As a young child, she and her mom needed public assistance, and they relied on it for a period of time to be able to get back on their feet.
- 1:48:36SPEAKER_56: And her mom is very proud of wanting to get off of that.
- 1:48:39SPEAKER_56: And so Lisa tells stories about her mom would walk her, you know, 11 blocks to daycare so that she could take a bus and and that her mom could go into work.
- 1:48:45SPEAKER_56: But but she needed that helping hand for a moment.
- 1:48:47SPEAKER_56: As she said, you know, she was that girl that relied on that growing up.
- 1:48:51SPEAKER_56: And so these programs matter to her, and protecting them matter to her, not just because it's important for Minnesotans to respect their tax dollars, because they help real people.
- 1:48:59SPEAKER_56: And so um, if you're stealing from those programs, uh you're gonna be in trouble.
- 1:49:03SPEAKER_56: But on the remittances, uh, if you're receiving public welfare in any in any regard, uh you're not sending that money overseas.
- 1:49:09SPEAKER_56: Um, if you're needy enough that you need the state to help get you back onto your feet, you're not gonna be transferring that.
- 1:49:14SPEAKER_56: And this goes back to part of her fraud plan, part of her crime plan, just part of her Minnesota plan is making sure that Minnesota benefits are for Minnesotans.
- 1:49:22SPEAKER_56: Minnesota Minnesota benefits stay in Minnesota and they're not gonna be shipped overseas.
- 1:49:26SPEAKER_56: And that's again another difference between Amy Klovachar and Lisa Damath.
- 1:49:29SPEAKER_56: You want more of the same, go with Amy.
- 1:49:31SPEAKER_56: You want a fresh start, you want change, you got Lisa Damath.
- 1:49:34SPEAKER_17: Hey John, good morning, good show as always.
- 1:49:37SPEAKER_17: Ask Ryan what the governor is gonna be able to do about people like Mary Moriarty, she's elected.
- 1:49:45SPEAKER_17: You can have all the cops you want on the streets, and they can arrest all these people.
- 1:49:49SPEAKER_17: But unless something is done when they're in the system and they get put away and not just shuffled back out to the street, that's where your real problem is.
- 1:50:00SPEAKER_17: done about Mary Moriarty and the voters that keep putting people like her into the elected offices.
- 1:50:06SPEAKER_56: Well I guess first and foremost she won't be the she won't be the AG in Hennepin County uh after this uh election process but that being said depending on who ends up winning that particular seat um either way your thoughts on the uh on the listeners' comments you know different states have different you know we're not the only state that has this problem of these uh uh progressive you know uh um uh prosecutors that see you know the uh the the criminal as the victim as opposed to the victim as the victim right and um obviously you said you know Mary Mori already be gone after this but another one could come up another county somewhere and we do have a system here where we elect our prosecutors on the county level and so if you don't like that prosecutor you're able to you know move to an move to another county but of course we know that crime spills over elsewhere and so there are options today where the governor can take uh you know can take prosecutions away give it to the attorney general of course you need an attorney general that's willing to willing to prosecute that as well right and um and so I may need to look at it you know working with the legislature to solve this problem what are the options out there do you need to give the governor more discretion to be able to take away more cases you know from counties when they're not being prosecuted appropriately and so that's something that you know it's a it it's a balance between that local control and making sure that that public safety that doesn't just stay local and spills out gets addressed and I know there are solutions to that and again that's something that needs to be worked through the legislature but again it can't be ignored and that's where you get a governor that's leading that acknowledges that there's a problem that's willing to address the problem it's how you're gonna change the culture of the problem.
- 1:51:36SPEAKER_03: So are you doing uh are you doing any debates are there any debates planned for the uh for the future uh between uh Lisa Damath and and Amy Klobuchar are we gonna see these two on stage being going back and forth at all?
- 1:51:48SPEAKER_56: I think we're I think right now we're scheduled for one TV debate with Amy Klobuchar I mean look she she had the time to travel around the country when she ran during her failed presidential campaign ten debates in cities and states all around the country but she couldn't be bothered when well and now we know that she was in the state on Friday couldn't be bothered to come down to St.
- 1:52:06SPEAKER_56: Paul to make their case you know that it what frustrates me and John I'm trying not to get a little heated you know me I'm a pretty e easygoing guy here but I'm trying not to get a little um a little hot here but it frustrates me after when I saw what happened on Friday this was my question for you coming up was was was your reaction to what had taken place at the high school yeah and so and so so seeing what that happened and you know I've got I've got kids we all we know a lot of us have families and have have kids have gone to homecoming and um that was robbed from this community being able to have those experiences to be innocent um to have a homecoming uh to enjoy a football game all Saturday I was taking calls from families both in prairie and Manitonka people affected by that saying we have to change we have to do something and one of the messages I heard was particularly powerful from a family that said we don't agree with Lisa Damath on everything but we do agree that something has got to give something has to change I am voting for you.
- 1:53:02SPEAKER_56: That's the message we heard multiple times and it was powerful and I landed with this because we don't have to agree on everything.
- 1:53:07SPEAKER_56: But if we can agree that what's working what's happening here in this state under the last eight and the last 16 years isn't working and it starts with that base level of crime.
- 1:53:16SPEAKER_56: You know our our public safety plan starts with the first duty of government is to protect its citizens before we can go to fixing the schools before we can do anything else people have to be safe.
- 1:53:26SPEAKER_56: And so when I saw that see that saw that this happened and um when I saw the um utter um tone deaf response from people like Amy Klobuchar first statement she made after it happened was talking about football games.
- 1:53:40SPEAKER_56: Right?
- 1:53:40SPEAKER_56: And it wasn't until you know she got lambasted for doing that that eventually she put out you know this half-hearted statement Amy Klobuchar has no plan to address the safety issues in our suburbs, in our cities, in our state we saw it in Edinho a week ago we saw it in Eden Prairie last weekend we saw it in Wilmer a couple weeks before that if you don't acknowledge that there's a problem how are you ever going to fix it?
- 1:54:02SPEAKER_56: And this is the same thing we saw with fraud and it's it's frustrating for Minnesotans because they know this state is great.
- 1:54:08SPEAKER_03: They know this state has a lot to offer but we're not reaching that potential because we have people like Amy Klobichar like Tim Walls like Attorney General Ellison like Ilhan Omar that hold us back and keep us from being that great state that we are um because we are a uh a full service uh show here uh here at American experiment I've had uh I've had a couple it might just be one individual but an individual looking to get uh yard signs or you know items to go and display in support of uh of you Ryan Wilson Lieutenant Governor and gubernatorial candidate uh Lisa Damouth where can they get those?
- 1:54:42SPEAKER_03: Because apparently they've been having difficulty uh getting them and they've reached out to me a few times.
- 1:54:46SPEAKER_56: Yeah you scroll to the bottom of the website there's a form at the bottom of the website and and um you know yard signs are always in shortage you know there are there are more people that want yard signs than we can ever you know fill them when we'll be filling them to the end of the election and every time we run out we keep ordering but I'll tell you what um we get uh you know we get a little email whenever these signups happen and and also when people sign up for our newsletters and um Saturday as I was saying I got a lot of calls from families on Saturday.
- 1:55:09SPEAKER_56: I got a lot of sign requests or our campaign got a lot of sign requests from the western suburbs in particular looking for signs.
- 1:55:15SPEAKER_56: You know I got a call saying I need 30 of them and there's a in the Minnetonka community saying you know I got families left and right that are tired and they're fed up and and I think this is where we're gonna see a change.
- 1:55:25SPEAKER_56: I think Minnesotans are waking up to and let's take the let's take at Our Lady of Grace church and E Dina uh weeks ago um Father Kevin's there and there were um they had to go and take down the basketball hoop in response to this and so this was a community basketball hoop that people could come they could play at um and because there was a shooting there we later found out it was 50 shots many of them aimed at the church by what now has been revealed to be a Somali gang or Somali gang activity um they had to take down the they have to take down the basketball hoop right uh what are we seeing happen at Eden Prairie in response you get rid of the homecoming we're losing the things that we hold dear in this state because we have politicians that stand by these defund the police policies like what Keith Ellison and Ilan Omar advocated and so we can't afford in this state more of the same we need something different.
- 1:56:15SPEAKER_56: And we look we know we know the solutions across the board again whether it be on education on crime on stopping fraud it's a matter of will to do it.
- 1:56:22SPEAKER_56: And if you can't talk about it how are you ever going to stop it?
- 1:56:25SPEAKER_03: Well and listen I'll tell you from a personal perspective um Melinda and I had been talking you know we'll be empty nesters at some point in time we're really blessed to have the boys in our house but they're both heading their directions and you know we were considering moving down to this area.
- 1:56:40SPEAKER_03: I live up in Blaine just a nice you know part not in the really really nice part of Blaine but I'm in a nice area of Blaine and it's a it's a bit of a hike to get here to the studio at Center of the American experiment.
- 1:56:50SPEAKER_03: And uh it was funny the first couple of weeks that I was here I realized that um the roadway as I was getting here was really really familiar and I was like man I've been here before like I've been for here before a lot and then I realized oh my gosh my dear friend Drew used to live just right up the road.
- 1:57:06SPEAKER_03: This was the exit right here where I used to go over to his house in Eden Prairie um and the the offices are here in Minnetonka.
- 1:57:14SPEAKER_03: I saw this story on Friday and I was like what you know Eden Prairie in Minnetonka I mean this is a place we're you know thinking about moving to and we're having these issues spreading to these to these areas you know and it made Melinda and I think twice about coming to to to the area and so you know when you when you look at this these situations this is the kind of impact that it that it has the areas where typically you would look at and think that's a great place to live you see a story like this and it it appropriately makes you question whether or not this is the place that you want to go and move to it's a it's an absolute tragedy Ryan.
- 1:57:49SPEAKER_56: Well let me tell you this is my promise to you Lisa Dama's promise to you and to Minnesotans is that this kind of stuff will stop when she is governor.
- 1:57:57SPEAKER_56: She has the plans she has the will she has the knowledge she has the support she's gonna get it done things will change things will be different we can't afford more of the same across the board.
- 1:58:07SPEAKER_56: And so that will change you give us a chance you give us four years and you're gonna see a transformation in a positive way in Minnesota getting it back to what we always knew it was and can be and should be here and also bringing us into the into the future it's not about going backwards.
- 1:58:22SPEAKER_56: Yeah but it's about taking those things that we know are great about Minnesota bringing back that good life that we all know can be here and making sure that everybody can have it here in Minnesota in a new way in a 21st century way and again pushing us forward.
- 1:58:33SPEAKER_03: Not just a lieutenant governor candidate but also a quasi uh realtor encourage me to continue to look to the area um where should people go uh online uh to get signs or to find out about the campaign Ryan go to Lisa4mn.com and of course you can see a lot of our statements out on uh X or Twitter Facebook uh we're on all the social medias thank you so much for coming into the uh the comfy sofa here at the Center of the American Experiment studio always great to uh to speak with you always a pleasure hey John great show so far I tell you I this is the first I heard about Amy Clobishar going to that event and waving an upside down American flag if people say oh you know that Amy she just didn't notice I'm sorry if you're a member of freaking United States Congress and you don't realize you're waving a flag that's upside down bullcrap.
- 1:59:19SPEAKER_16: She knows damn well what she was doing.
- 1:59:21SPEAKER_16: She hates this country all she cares actually what she cares about is herself.
- 1:59:25SPEAKER_16: Everything else is ancillary.
- 1:59:27SPEAKER_16: She's a malignant narcissist and that's all she really cares about but she'll drape that flag around her shoulders when she needs to promise not to make people believe her bullcrap anymore.
- 1:59:39SPEAKER_03: You know tell me how you uh how you really feel 6519640294 I got a great night's sleep last night.
- 1:59:46SPEAKER_03: It's a good thing the only way that I can deal with the news every single day is if I get a good night's sleep.
- 1:59:53SPEAKER_03: Thankfully I get a great night's sleep it's all because of the night gummies at Mini Leaf.
- 1:59:57SPEAKER_03: Different blends are available depending on what need you have to get a good uh night's sleep if you're dealing with pain the Triple Diamond Pain cream is incredibly effective.
- 2:00:07SPEAKER_03: Five star reviews available uh at the website for Mini Leaf.
- 2:00:12SPEAKER_03: As a matter of fact to that point Brett left a five star review for the pain knockout cream I had a friend constantly experiencing pain in her side complained about it all the time John I heard about the product from you I learned it from you John and I purchased it for her good for you after one application she said she felt 70% better and by the second day was totally pain free incredible results when it comes to the night gummies listen to Linda five star review for the night plus C BG Extra Strength sleep gummy experiencing much better sleep since I started taking the sleep gummies even after a bathroom trip I go right back to sleep.

- 2:02:02SPEAKER_03: We have Devin uh producing this morning and of course taking your voice and text messages to the blaster line at 651640294.
- 2:02:12SPEAKER_03: Uh before we get back into the surreal situation two injured getaway car being sought after Eden Prairie homecoming shooting and the left and the leftists apologetic responses, criticizing, vilifying and demonizing anybody who would actually go and point out the perpetrators of these crimes let's go here I want to remind you there's a family friendly event promoting the$7,000 ESA program to improve Minnesota education and give parents the power of school choice.
- 2:02:49SPEAKER_03: This is the$7,000 scholarship raffle fun run, the 7K fun run with American experiment happening on October 11th in Plymouth run a 7K walk of$ or enjoy a zero mile in the main area with face painting, music, inflatables and refreshments, plus enter to win a$7,000 scholarship for the K two twelve K through 12 student in your life attending a private school.
- 2:03:16SPEAKER_03: So mark your calendars let individuals know head on over to the website AmericanExperiment.org for all of the details on the 7K for kids fun run.
- 2:03:25SPEAKER_03: Again October 11th in Plymouth all the details are available up at the website at americanexperiment.org that's americanexperiment.org all right Eden Prairie Police Department continues to investigate the shooting that occurred on the evening of Friday October 2nd I'm working off the official press release here in the parking lot on the north side of Eden Prairie High School two people injured during the shooting before the shooting a large altercation occurred on the west side of the stadium Eden Prairie police officers broke up the altercation, removed several individuals from the stadium grounds and shortly afterwards officers responded to a report of a shooting in the high school parking lot based on the investigations so far police believe the shooting was gang related.
- 2:04:11SPEAKER_03: And as a matter of fact you have uh three independent law enforcement sources four you have Liz Collin talking about her law enforcement sources but also five eyewitness news who said three independent law enforcement sources confirmed that it was related to Somali gang activity on Saturday.
- 2:04:29SPEAKER_03: A Fox9 uh also confirmed the shooting involved Somali gangs.
- 2:04:34SPEAKER_03: Police said they're searching for at least one getaway car, though the chief said they do not have the make or model yet.
- 2:04:42SPEAKER_03: A play-by-play announcer Wally Langfellow was in the press booth calling the game when the PA announcer said something that went and caught his attention it's a little hard to hear but here's how that sounded in the stadium.
- 2:04:56SPEAKER_35: My unofficial stats I got 143 yards to the south end of the field evacuate the field yard to the south end of the field all right here on the Lake Conference Network uh we just got the call from the PA we are evacuating the stadium and the teams as you can see are quickly leaving the field and we do not know anything else other than that so that's the situation here at Eden Prairie with the score at 2114 and hopefully evacuate the stadium we'll have uh more information when we are able to provide it so this game is going to be paused here right now 2114 and we'll step out on late conference network in that moment by the way you could see everybody on the field scrambling you can see all of the students running as people were descending out of the uh grandstands it could have been an even more horrific situation than what had uh transpired and again to the point that you had multiple news outlets saying this was Somali gang activity and yet what has the public been told over and over and over again by Hennepin County attorney Scary Moriarty there are no roving gangs of Somali people in this community harassing threatening doing anything to any of our community members and let me repeat that again because I've heard this often there are no roving gangs of Somalis targeting or harassing or doing anything inappropriate to any community members.
- 2:06:49SPEAKER_35: Those are simply lies it is not true.
- 2:06:54SPEAKER_03: Boy that didn't age uh well uh did it and I want to get into what do we do to solve this problem uh the community is responding local leaders are working to address youth violence following the shooting in Eden Prairie football game unfortunately local media outlets are already saying this is a Republicans pounces situation that we shouldn't be pointing that this pointing out that this were these were Somali gangs involved in this that's just the facts of the situation.
- 2:07:26SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna share with you commentary online over the weekend from apologists uh here in Minneapolis here in Minnesota had some great comments from Walter Hudson I grabbed those uh from X to to share uh with you but again getting into the issue of how do we go and tackle this problem ultimately it comes down to accountability it comes down to holding people accountable we don't have attorneys like you know that aren't like Mary Moriarty individuals that are actually holding people accountable for these for these actions it is a very complicated situation but one that we are going to have to face head on moving forward and then it means saying the more difficult things the things that will cause individuals irrationally to say that you know it's racist it's bigoted you name it let's get to some of your thoughts from the blaster line at 651-964-0294.
- 2:08:24SPEAKER_47: Great show one of the insidious things of all this left game crap we're going through is the fact that they've got the long game going through they've got the stranglehold on educating our kids and they're all about feelings and carbon instead of having rational logical things and graduating idiots and there is very little education has to be held back who has the hair on the back to uh really do that Lisa or who else where's the Republican Party and all this man they're laying low in the weeds good luck calculated things that last part simply not true.
- 2:09:18SPEAKER_03: You know and I say this often on the show you know the Republican Party isn't perfect by any stretch.
- 2:09:23SPEAKER_03: There's plenty of problems within the party and individuals who act inappropriately just like any political party.
- 2:09:29SPEAKER_03: But as I mentioned earlier one of the first individuals to come out to make a comment on this was Alec uh Alex Plekish who represents the Republican Party.
- 2:09:39SPEAKER_03: So they immediately were out talking about safety and security and doing something about the issue.
- 2:09:45SPEAKER_03: So the GOP was at the forefront of this when the event took place.
- 2:09:49SPEAKER_20: Good morning John it's so nice to hear you on the radio I've been following you since about a week after the transfer and this is a brilliant forum for you.
- 2:10:03SPEAKER_20: And I just wanted to say that years ago said that Eastern Curry was the home of the mystery we watched the movie program for the left come out of this city 25 years ago and we knew it was headed down the past and here we are we are in crazy town.
- 2:10:29SPEAKER_03: Thank you liberals let's get this change this election well and to that point this does speak to and we're gonna talk about Minneapolis issues before the show wraps up I want to give you an update on the uh the murdering cat Waymo vehicles and Minneapolis man, baby mayor mom jeans Jacob Fry actually vetoing that ridiculous uh ordinance but this speaks directly to why you cannot ignore the major metropolitan areas it is too easy to say well they get what they vote for too bad so sad for them build a wall around the twin cities and call it a day isn't that's not realistic and to take that stance you're entitled to your opinion but to take that stance is to your own demise because the policies will eventually spill out it will eventually end up into your neighboring communities outside the metro and this is what we're seeing happening.
- 2:11:29SPEAKER_03: I mean this could have been something that took place in plain and I've seen similar circumstances in the area that we live over the course of the past decade I wouldn't have in the first five years questioned going to Northtown Mall.
- 2:11:43SPEAKER_03: Now no I'm good I'm not going there.
- 2:11:47SPEAKER_03: We've had Somali gang violence taking place there.
- 2:11:50SPEAKER_03: They had a fair that show up a couple of years ago you don't hear a lot about it because just like this story, the media is incredibly selective over their outrage especially Especially regarding, in this case, violence taking place in the schools.
- 2:12:05SPEAKER_03: It gets, you know, it's a little hands-off when we have to get into the specificity of the individuals involved.
- 2:12:11SPEAKER_03: And it's all because of political expediency for Democrats.
- 2:12:15SPEAKER_03: The reason why you have Democrats gaslighting on this issue, that we'll dive into here in just a moment, is because they know that this is not good for their party.
- 2:12:22SPEAKER_03: They know that this could be damaging to them in this election.
- 2:12:27SPEAKER_03: So instead of focusing on the issue, talking about the cultural impact that drives young individuals who have immigrated with their families to this country would be counterproductive to their winning elections because they've catered to this group.
- 2:12:46SPEAKER_03: This whole 2017 rally that took place regarding Amy Klobishar up there doing her best to speak the language of the individuals that are in the audience, it's straight up pandering.
- 2:12:57SPEAKER_03: She doesn't care about remittances to Somalia.
- 2:12:59SPEAKER_03: She doesn't care about the, in my opinion, the ability of individuals to send money back home.
- 2:13:07SPEAKER_03: Not to mention the fact that their banking system is pretty much non-existent in Somalia.
- 2:13:11SPEAKER_03: So the money that comes from Minnesota basically ends up straight into the hands of terrorists, more likely than not, as has been shown in articles by the City, the City Journal.
- 2:13:23SPEAKER_03: No, this is why you see this ridiculous pushback that I'll share with you some details of coming up in just a moment here on the show.
- 2:13:28SPEAKER_41: Didn't Keith Ellison negotiate with the Somali gang members to keep them away from the state fair?
- 2:13:35SPEAKER_41: Perhaps he can negotiate with them again just to leave the schools alone.
- 2:13:42SPEAKER_41: He's got such a nice um relationship with them, very cozy.
- 2:13:47SPEAKER_41: So I would think this would be easy for him to do.
- 2:14:13SPEAKER_03: You will more than likely not see, you know, a long line of interviews and videos on local media talking to the students to get their reaction and their thoughts on the issue, probably because media is too afraid of the honesty and what these students will end up saying about the problem and how long this problem has been going on.
- 2:14:33SPEAKER_03: But that's one way that we could start addressing the issue.
- 2:14:36SPEAKER_03: Actually, talk to the students that are impacted by this directly.
- 2:14:40SPEAKER_03: I want to go back and uh play for you a clip.
- 2:14:42SPEAKER_03: I don't think I've played it here on the new iteration of the show, but I thought it was appropriate based on the conversation that we're about to get into on this particular uh issue.
- 2:14:52SPEAKER_03: Um so, first off, just to set the stage here, uh this is Nasra Hakmed, 23 uh three-year-old Somali American woman in Minnesota, uh, who ended up going viral for this clip and then was later arrested during the ICE Operation Metro Surge for impeding federal law enforcement.
- 2:15:13SPEAKER_52: Um so I'm Somali.
- 2:15:15SPEAKER_52: Um I'm proud to be Somali.
- 2:15:18SPEAKER_52: Um to me, being Somali isn't just eating bananas with rice.
- 2:15:22SPEAKER_52: It's uh it's a lie.
- 2:15:24SPEAKER_52: It's like um it's uh it's uh it's an interesting thing.
- 2:15:29SPEAKER_52: It's uh it's very hard to describe what it means to be Somali and what it means to be American, but it's like a cultural uh fusion.
- 2:15:38SPEAKER_52: It's kind of like the bananas and rice.
- 2:15:41SPEAKER_52: You know, people don't really see like, you know, it's a it's a it's you know, people don't think, oh, you can eat bananas with rice, but that's what it's like to be Somali and American.
- 2:15:53SPEAKER_52: It's like that combination of banana and rice, but you you you're gonna get what I mean.
- 2:15:59SPEAKER_03: Unfortunately, it's not.
- 2:16:01SPEAKER_03: And that's the problem.
- 2:16:03SPEAKER_03: First off, it's a ridiculous analogy.
- 2:16:07SPEAKER_03: I I think I know what she was trying to say.
- 2:16:10SPEAKER_03: And then she ended up going assaulting uh Ice Agents, so we know how that ended up uh turning out.
- 2:16:16SPEAKER_03: But she's talking about the in some some wonky way, the combination that works of banana and ri bananas and rice, and how typically you wouldn't think that those two things work together.
- 2:16:28SPEAKER_03: Dale Earnhardt Jr., when he was still racing in NASCAR, my favorite driver, still my favorite driver, does a weekly podcast, blah, blah, blah.
- 2:16:36SPEAKER_03: He had uh Hellman mayonnaise as a sponsor.
- 2:16:40SPEAKER_03: And he talked about how he would do, you know, white bread with uh mayonnaise and banana.
- 2:16:47SPEAKER_03: And you may think, that doesn't sound good.
- 2:16:50SPEAKER_03: It actually is, it's tasty.
- 2:16:51SPEAKER_03: I mean I enjoyed it quite quite a bit.
- 2:16:54SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 2:16:55SPEAKER_03: It's a combination that you would not expect that would actually work well.
- 2:16:58SPEAKER_03: And that's kind of the point I think that this now criminal was trying to go and make.
- 2:17:04SPEAKER_03: But here's the problem.
- 2:17:06SPEAKER_03: Unfortunately, there's a large portion of the Somali community that's not gelling with America.
- 2:17:14SPEAKER_03: That's a problem.
- 2:17:15SPEAKER_03: There's a lack of assimilation that's going on.
- 2:17:19SPEAKER_03: And there's nothing wrong with pointing that out.
- 2:17:21SPEAKER_03: There's a fear that people have of pointing that out, and they need to dispense with that fear.
- 2:17:27SPEAKER_03: They're gonna get called names.
- 2:17:28SPEAKER_03: I'm sure I'll get called names.
- 2:17:29SPEAKER_03: I'll probably get comments and blasts rolling in calling me these names.
- 2:17:34SPEAKER_03: Just the mere fact that we're even mentioning and saying the word Somali as many times as I am on the show this morning will bring about, and it already has individuals that are calling me those names for just as speaking facts.
- 2:17:46SPEAKER_03: That's all that it is.
- 2:17:48SPEAKER_03: But if you go as an American to another country, say if you went to Somalia and suddenly you were in a position where you had a voice, or maybe you would wanted to get into a position of power, it would never happen.
- 2:18:03SPEAKER_03: But just follow me on this ridiculous and unrealistic analogy for a moment.
- 2:18:07SPEAKER_03: Or you pick any country that you want.
- 2:18:09SPEAKER_03: If you go to that country and you refuse to assimilate, if you try to get involved in politics and get into office and then have the laws changed to have them suit whatever belief that you have that is completely contrary to the country that you live, yeah, it's never gonna fly.
- 2:18:29SPEAKER_03: America is the greatest country on the face of the planet for good reason.
- 2:18:33SPEAKER_03: We're incredibly welcoming to individuals.
- 2:18:35SPEAKER_03: If you come here legally, if there are Democrats in office, you can come here illegally and you can take advantage of the situation as well.
- 2:18:43SPEAKER_03: And certainly that's the case here in Minnesota.
- 2:18:46SPEAKER_03: And you have individuals that are running for office, getting into office, and they want to go and they want to implement things like Sharia law.
- 2:18:53SPEAKER_03: They want to up-end what our founding fathers and what you and I believe is the best way to go and run the United States of America, the American experiment, right?
- 2:19:04SPEAKER_03: Any other country, you get ostracized, you get booted, and in some cases you probably be killed.
- 2:19:10SPEAKER_03: And yet, if you go and complain about the lack of assimilation of individuals who immigrated to this country, suddenly you are the bad guy.
- 2:19:22SPEAKER_03: Doc here Shire.
- 2:19:24SPEAKER_03: He's the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources in Somalia.
- 2:19:30SPEAKER_03: I want to share with you something uh that uh I found on X over the weekend.
- 2:19:34SPEAKER_03: We'll continue to get your thoughts at 651-964-0294.
- 2:19:38SPEAKER_03: Uh, this was shared online uh by an account of Minnesota Lady America First at Bubby Blue9 uh 29353.
- 2:19:47SPEAKER_03: Obviously didn't change their handle.
- 2:19:48SPEAKER_03: They just went with whatever handle they were given.
- 2:19:51SPEAKER_03: Um Dahirshire.
- 2:19:53SPEAKER_03: And again, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources in Somalia had this to say.
- 2:19:57SPEAKER_03: Somali children frequently frequently grow up without paternal presence in their households, as fathers often depart once the family reaches five children, leaving single mothers to rely on welfare assistance and government housing programs.
- 2:20:11SPEAKER_03: These fathers may subsequently marry additional wives to father more children or return to Africa to marry younger women.
- 2:20:18SPEAKER_03: The Somali community must engage in honest dialogue about this pattern, writes Dahir Shire, an individual who knows of what he speaks.
- 2:20:27SPEAKER_03: Religious leaders and imams have remained silent regarding fathers who abandon their children and shirk parental responsibilities.
- 2:20:35SPEAKER_03: Somali moss have increasingly become commercial enterprises, soliciting donations that ultimately benefit leadership rather than community members.
- 2:20:42SPEAKER_03: Imams should counsel parents to limit family size, particularly encouraging fathers to reconsider polygamy as children from these arrangements frequently enter the welfare system, experience poverty, sometimes leading to gang involvement.
- 2:20:57SPEAKER_03: Policymakers should consider restructuring welfare programs to incentivize parental responsibility and family stability within the Somali community.
- 2:21:07SPEAKER_03: These are the conversations we need to be having.
- 2:21:11SPEAKER_03: What individuals do within their home and how they raise their children, that's up to them.
- 2:21:17SPEAKER_03: Okay?
- 2:21:17SPEAKER_03: You do what you want.
- 2:21:18SPEAKER_03: It's part of what makes America and this country great.
- 2:21:23SPEAKER_03: But when it comes to our laws, you need to adhere to our laws.
- 2:21:27SPEAKER_03: You need to adhere to the societal standards that we have here in the United States.
- 2:21:31SPEAKER_03: You want to take advantage of everything the United States has to offer, then yeah, you need to embrace American exceptionalism.
- 2:21:39SPEAKER_03: What it means to be a patriot.
- 2:21:41SPEAKER_03: What it means to follow, to follow what the founding fathers had intended for this country within our United States Constitution.
- 2:21:49SPEAKER_03: I said, I feel sorry for a lot of these kids.
- 2:21:50SPEAKER_03: I really do.
- 2:21:51SPEAKER_03: These kids that are getting wrapped up in this gang violence, why are they doing it?
- 2:21:54SPEAKER_03: Because they're seeking identity.
- 2:21:56SPEAKER_03: Their circumstances were will be incredibly individualized.
- 2:22:01SPEAKER_03: It's not a one-size-fits-all issue.
- 2:22:03SPEAKER_03: There are larger systemic problems, as Daheer Shire mentioned in his uh commentary uh online.
- 2:22:11SPEAKER_03: It speaks to why some of these kids are getting involved in these gangs, but ultimately they're searching for identity.
- 2:22:17SPEAKER_03: They're searching for a place, for belonging because they're not getting it elsewhere in their life.
- 2:22:24SPEAKER_03: And because unfortunately, we're also dealing with the issue of godlessness, and you hope that these individuals end up finding the truth, to learn the error of their ways and go on the right path.
- 2:22:39SPEAKER_03: But in the absence of that, you have to hold people accountable.
- 2:22:43SPEAKER_03: And that revolving door of criminality in Hennepin County, driven in large part because of Hennepin County attorney Scary Moriarty, who's been out there straight up lying to people's faces.
- 2:22:52SPEAKER_35: There are no roving gangs of Somali people in this community harassing, threatening, doing anything to any of our community members.
- 2:23:03SPEAKER_03: She's made the problem worse.
- 2:23:05SPEAKER_03: And now it's spilling out of the metro and it's heading into our suburbs, and it's only going to get worse if we don't start holding these juveniles accountable.
- 2:23:14SPEAKER_03: It needs to start in the metropolitan areas, it needs to continue in the suburbs as well.
- 2:23:24SPEAKER_03: Yes, they're dealing with individual issues.
- 2:23:26SPEAKER_03: They're searching for identity.
- 2:23:28SPEAKER_03: You're not going to be able to solve that overnight.
- 2:23:31SPEAKER_03: I don't have any expectation that the community leaders within these communities are going to be doing the right thing.
- 2:23:36SPEAKER_03: And I'll give you the example here in just a moment.
- 2:23:39SPEAKER_03: But it doesn't mean that you stop short of asking and telling people that you need to do the right thing, that you need to address this within your own community.
- 2:23:49SPEAKER_03: Because it is causing problems for everybody else that is looking to do the right thing in this state.
- 2:23:55SPEAKER_03: We've lost billions upon billions of dollars because of a lack of accountability.
- 2:24:02SPEAKER_03: There's now individuals being shot, homecoming and experiences in high school being ruined.
- 2:24:08SPEAKER_03: And it's being ruined in large part because of a fear that people have of being called names that they're not used to being called over fear that speaking the truth will grant them those labels.
- 2:24:19SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 2:24:20SPEAKER_03: A lot of comments have rolled into the blaster line.
- 2:24:22SPEAKER_03: I want to get to those coming up.
- 2:24:24SPEAKER_03: 651-964-0294 is the number.
- 2:24:28SPEAKER_03: If you want to leave with a voice or a text message, you can also email me john.justice at americanexperiment.org.
- 2:24:36SPEAKER_03: Yesterday I went out for uh went out for a bike ride and uh I was getting ready to walk out the door.
- 2:24:42SPEAKER_03: And uh Kyle was in the middle of lunch and I had a timing issue.
- 2:24:45SPEAKER_03: We had uh the Vikings game starting.
- 2:24:48SPEAKER_03: I had my NASCAR race coming up, I wanted to play my game.
- 2:24:51SPEAKER_03: I was short on time, but I had enough time to hop on my bike and go for a ride.
- 2:24:54SPEAKER_03: And Kyle wanted me to wait, and I said, No, dude, I gotta go.
- 2:24:57SPEAKER_03: He's like, I will catch you.
- 2:25:00SPEAKER_03: He's like, I'm gonna finish my lunch, I'm gonna get dressed, I'm gonna hop on my bike, and I bet that I can catch you by this portion in Bunker Park.
- 2:25:07SPEAKER_03: He was right, by the way.
- 2:25:08SPEAKER_03: He was winded, he was exhausted, but he caught me a little past where he said he was gonna come where he was gonna catch me because I was riding super fast.
- 2:25:18SPEAKER_03: And it is a lot easier to ride my bike now that I've lost 30 pounds.
- 2:25:22SPEAKER_03: I'll tell you that much.
- 2:25:24SPEAKER_03: My mountain bike appreciates it.
- 2:25:26SPEAKER_03: You'll appreciate it too.
- 2:25:27SPEAKER_03: This is a fantastic program at Neutrowave to lose the weight and keep it off for good.
- 2:25:31SPEAKER_03: If you're tired and done with all the yo-yo dieting, you need to call Neutrowave today to find out about this amazing program.
- 2:25:38SPEAKER_03: You get to eat the food that you want to eat all while you lose the weight, and you change your relationship with food for the better.

- 2:25:45SPEAKER_03: It's that simple.
- 2:25:46SPEAKER_03: I've lost over 30 pounds on this program, and I know that I'll be keeping the weight off.
- 2:25:50SPEAKER_03: You have nothing to lose by calling today.

- 2:25:56SPEAKER_03: It's a truth metabolic scan and a red light therapy session by just calling and mentioning my name, John Justice, to 952-260-1965-952-260-1965.
- 2:26:09SPEAKER_03: Reach out to NeutraWave today.
- 2:26:12SPEAKER_03: Find out what the program is all about.
- 2:26:14SPEAKER_03: No obligation, but they have helped over 31,000 people over 13 years.
- 2:26:20SPEAKER_03: They can do the same for you.
- 2:26:21SPEAKER_03: It is an incredible program.
- 2:26:23SPEAKER_03: Call today, 952-260-1965, and mention my name, John Justice.
- 2:26:29SPEAKER_03: Trust me, it's absolutely worth it.
- 2:26:30SPEAKER_03: Selling your home is more than just putting a sign in the yard.
- 2:26:34SPEAKER_03: It's about making the right decisions before that sign ever goes up.
- 2:26:37SPEAKER_03: And that's the advisor advantage you get from Hallway North real estate advisors.
- 2:26:42SPEAKER_03: When you talk to them about selling your home, instead of simply telling you what your home is worth and putting it on the market, Hallway North Real Estate Advisors help you maximize the value before it's listed.
- 2:26:54SPEAKER_03: Maybe there's a new remodeling project that makes sense or one that doesn't.
- 2:26:59SPEAKER_03: It's certainly worth giving them a call before you spend the money.
- 2:27:02SPEAKER_03: And when it's ready, they'll get it cleaned, staged, photographed, listed, and advocate for your best offer.
- 2:27:08SPEAKER_03: Hallway North Real Estate Advisors don't just sell your home.
- 2:27:12SPEAKER_03: They put you in the best position to get the most of the investment that you've already made.
- 2:27:18SPEAKER_03: That's the advisor advantage.
- 2:27:20SPEAKER_03: Go to hallwayNorth.com to schedule your free one-on-one in-home consultation to see how you can get the most equity for your home.
- 2:27:28SPEAKER_03: That's hallwaynorth.com.
- 2:27:30SPEAKER_03: Hallway North Real Estate Advisors.
- 2:27:33SPEAKER_03: They're more than just realtors, they're your personal advisors, brokered by Bridge Realty.
- 2:27:40SPEAKER_46: Hello, John Justice.
- 2:27:42SPEAKER_46: This is Chuck from Greeno.
- 2:27:44SPEAKER_46: I grew up eating banana sandwiches.
- 2:27:46SPEAKER_46: The only difference is in addition to the mayo and the bananas.
- 2:27:51SPEAKER_46: We put peanut butter on one side.
- 2:27:53SPEAKER_46: They work great.
- 2:27:54SPEAKER_46: But I prefer wheatbread instead of white bread.
- 2:27:58SPEAKER_46: Hey, great show in the herrish.
- 2:28:00SPEAKER_46: Perfect.
- 2:28:00SPEAKER_46: Have a great day.
- 2:28:02unknown: Bye.
- 2:28:02SPEAKER_50: You've heard about Education Minnesota, the statewide teachers union that's affiliated with Randy Weingarten's American Federation of Teachers.
- 2:28:11SPEAKER_50: Well, they're at it again.
- 2:28:13SPEAKER_50: They have endorsed their slate of candidates in the Eastern Carver County School Board race.
- 2:28:18SPEAKER_50: To see whose campaigns Education Minnesota and the local teachers union, the Chaska Education Association, are funding, visit reelectjoe scott.com and check the blog section.
- 2:28:30SPEAKER_49: Hi, I'm Joe Scott, and I'm the only conservative on the Eastern Carver County School.
- 2:29:08SPEAKER_37: Was that before or after the Red Tatonic Sarah Fletcher and others have come out and said, yes, there are games and we've negotiated with the fake fair stuff?
- 2:29:18SPEAKER_37: I'm guessing it was before that.
- 2:29:20SPEAKER_37: Just curious.
- 2:29:21SPEAKER_03: You know, I thought about looking that up when I felt when I saw the uh clip overnight, and then I uh realized, yeah, I don't care.
- 2:29:30SPEAKER_03: It doesn't matter.
- 2:29:31SPEAKER_03: And here's the reason why it doesn't matter, and and this is not to push back on the on the blast by any respect uh respect, but I don't care because Scary Moriarty knew she was lying when she made the comment.
- 2:29:43SPEAKER_03: This is not a new problem.
- 2:29:45SPEAKER_03: This is not something that just happened over the course of the past couple of months.
- 2:29:50SPEAKER_03: No, this has been a problem for a long, long time, and she knew that when she made the statement.
- 2:29:55SPEAKER_03: She knew that when she put out her ridiculous-looking hostage video.
- 2:30:00SPEAKER_03: They do.
- 2:30:01SPEAKER_03: They all look like Michael Scott making his videos on the office.
- 2:30:04SPEAKER_35: Let me repeat that again because I've heard this often.
- 2:30:07SPEAKER_35: There are no woving gangs of Somalis targeting or harassing or doing anything inappropriate to any community members.
- 2:30:16SPEAKER_35: Those are simply lies.
- 2:30:18SPEAKER_35: It is not true.
- 2:30:19SPEAKER_03: See, the proper way to go and handle that is to point out, yes.
- 2:30:23SPEAKER_03: It's kind of it's to listen, it's to do what we're doing on the show.
- 2:30:27SPEAKER_03: It's to say, yes, we do have an issue.
- 2:30:30SPEAKER_03: Just like we have an issue with 90% of the fraud being done by members of the Somali community, it doesn't mean that all members of the Somali community or any immigrant community, right, is they're all conducting fraud, but it does mean that a large portion of the fraud is being conducted by a particular community.
- 2:30:47SPEAKER_03: Because when you go and address that factually, then you can get to the heart of the problem: the cultural aspect, the differences between places like Somalia, the United States of America, the mentality of individuals, how politicians and leftists perpetuated all of it.
- 2:31:01SPEAKER_03: And the same thing rings true when it comes to the Somali gangs.
- 2:31:05SPEAKER_03: She can still be the social justice religious zealot that she is.
- 2:31:12SPEAKER_03: Point to yes, we have a Somali gang problem, but the way to go and tackle the problem is just like we handle all problems, and that is to hold people accountable for the crimes that they commit.
- 2:31:21SPEAKER_03: This is not hard.
- 2:31:23SPEAKER_03: It is hard, though, unfortunately, if you're on the left.
- 2:31:27SPEAKER_03: And it's why I'm so glad that Mini Leaf is a sponsor on the program to make sure that I get a good night's sleep with the night gummies, to make sure that if my wife is dealing with any sort of pain, that she can alleviate that pain with the triple diamond pain cream.
- 2:31:40SPEAKER_03: And for those of you out there that are looking to, you know what, I don't want to drink the alcohol anymore, but I still want to relax.
- 2:31:45SPEAKER_03: The spooky mini leaf tonics are perfect.
- 2:31:48SPEAKER_03: The fun gummies as well, got to be 21 or over when you buy these products, just so you know.
- 2:31:52SPEAKER_03: You're already aware of that.
- 2:31:53SPEAKER_03: It's right there on the website.
- 2:31:55SPEAKER_03: And that website is M-I-N-N-E-L-E-A-F.com.
- 2:31:59SPEAKER_03: That's minileaf.com, where you can see all of these fantastic products made with all natural ingredients, packaged, brewed right here locally, because that's what Eric and his wife Lacey uh Lacey are all about.
- 2:32:11SPEAKER_03: They want you to live a better life through their product.
- 2:32:13SPEAKER_03: They care about this state, and they want you to be able to benefit from the quality products that they sell.
- 2:32:20SPEAKER_03: Taste happy at minileaf.com.
- 2:32:22SPEAKER_03: That's min-n-e-l-e-a-f dot com.
- 2:32:26SPEAKER_03: Again, that's minileaf.com.
- 2:32:29SPEAKER_09: Good morning, John.
- 2:32:30SPEAKER_09: Bringing up the paternal aspect of raising children is a very, very good point.
- 2:32:36SPEAKER_09: And I think that fathers are so underrated in this society nowadays because of the feminist movement.
- 2:32:45SPEAKER_09: We need strong dads to be the hammer.
- 2:32:49SPEAKER_09: And these kids in the Somalian families don't have that hammer.
- 2:32:53SPEAKER_09: And you'll see it in the black communities back in the 1930s and 40s.
- 2:32:59SPEAKER_09: The mom and dad black family was in full force, and these kids grew up to be great individuals.
- 2:33:06SPEAKER_09: But then we came up with the LBJ welfare state, where it discouraged these men from sticking around the family so the mother could get benefits, and that's where the problem started.
- 2:33:19SPEAKER_09: Dads are important, just as important as a mom, and we need to have those families back in order to get a better society going down the road.
- 2:33:29SPEAKER_03: Friend of the show, Scott, Scott Cotton level three and a half.
- 2:33:33SPEAKER_03: What do you think, Devin?
- 2:33:35SPEAKER_03: I'd probably say three.
- 2:33:36SPEAKER_03: You'd say three?
- 2:33:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 2:33:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 2:33:38SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 2:33:38SPEAKER_03: The commentary was spectacular.
- 2:33:40SPEAKER_03: Enthusiasm was pretty even keeled this morning.
- 2:33:42SPEAKER_03: He did mention hammer, though.
- 2:33:44SPEAKER_03: Speaking of hammers, most companies, home service companies, try to sell you more.
- 2:33:48SPEAKER_03: Ericsson Plumbing Heating Air and Electrical.
- 2:33:50SPEAKER_03: They're completely different.
- 2:33:52SPEAKER_03: Family owned, licensed pros across all the major trades and non commissioned.
- 2:33:56SPEAKER_03: So the vice you get is honest.
- 2:33:58SPEAKER_03: Plus, with our iHeart My HomeClean.
- 2:34:00SPEAKER_03: You get real whole home care from people who actually care.
- 2:34:03SPEAKER_03: Licensed at non-commissioned experts, so you know you're not going to get the runaround, you're not going to be taken advantage of.
- 2:34:09SPEAKER_03: And even if you've gone with other companies in the past, those companies, you see their vans driving around, you know their logos, they're local.
- 2:34:16SPEAKER_03: What you don't realize is they're not local anymore.
- 2:34:19SPEAKER_03: They've been purchased by outside corporations, individuals, not even in the country in some cases.
- 2:34:24SPEAKER_03: And the impact that it's had is it's stripped away the local aspect of what it is that they provide.
- 2:34:30SPEAKER_03: They're cutting costs.
- 2:34:32SPEAKER_03: Individuals that aren't nearly as trained as they used to be.
- 2:34:34SPEAKER_03: No, you need to go with a local family-owned team that for 43 years has been providing amazing service and keeping it local.
- 2:34:43SPEAKER_03: You can trust them.
- 2:34:45SPEAKER_03: My neighbors trust them.
- 2:34:46SPEAKER_03: Catherine Johnson trusts them.
- 2:34:48SPEAKER_03: It's Ericsson Plumbing, Heating Air, and Electrical.
- 2:34:51SPEAKER_03: Again, that number is 763-783-4545.
- 2:34:54SPEAKER_03: That's 763-783-4545 or iHeartedson.com.
- 2:34:59SPEAKER_03: Make sure to tell them that John Justice sent you.
- 2:35:02SPEAKER_21: I think the saddest part of this whole thing, John, is that anyone who's paying any sort of attention can see the writing on the wall.
- 2:35:10SPEAKER_21: And yet, come November, in one month from now, we will elect Nicole Bachard and Keith Ellison and all the lefties that have caused all the problems.
- 2:35:20SPEAKER_21: We'll elect them again.
- 2:35:21SPEAKER_21: Because the people of this state are not smart.
- 2:35:26SPEAKER_21: I don't get it.
- 2:35:27SPEAKER_21: It's suicidal empathy or something.
- 2:35:29SPEAKER_21: But it's it's it's not gonna change.
- 2:35:32SPEAKER_21: I just I'm sorry.
- 2:35:34SPEAKER_21: I hope it does.
- 2:35:35SPEAKER_21: I really, really do.
- 2:35:35SPEAKER_21: I'm trying hard talking to people, but it's I just don't see it happening.
- 2:35:41SPEAKER_21: Open wrong, John.
- 2:35:42SPEAKER_21: Have a good day.
- 2:35:43SPEAKER_03: Well, the polling, um the polling certainly shows how tight a race all of this is.
- 2:35:50SPEAKER_03: All of these candidates are in right now.
- 2:35:53SPEAKER_03: Some metro area Somali leaders are working on a plan for greater safety, and they expect to release it today after the shooting outside the Eden Prairie Homecoming Game Friday night.
- 2:36:04SPEAKER_03: Uh, my first thoughts were like, not this again.
- 2:36:08SPEAKER_03: This was according to uh Muhammad Abdul Ahada with touch outreach.
- 2:36:15SPEAKER_03: Abdul Ahda has been on the front lines of the battle against youth violence for years, working to reach kids before they get irretrievably involved in crime or gangs.
- 2:36:28SPEAKER_03: It's unfortunate because it's happening.
- 2:36:31SPEAKER_03: The connection is first, right, he says.
- 2:36:33SPEAKER_03: The building of trust and relationships and starting that early.
- 2:36:36SPEAKER_03: Early prevention is really going to help to see the change in a lot of these behaviors, he said.
- 2:36:41SPEAKER_03: He agrees that those working with youth are in danger of heading down the wrong path and need more help.
- 2:36:46SPEAKER_03: They need more resources, right?
- 2:36:48SPEAKER_03: We need resources to be able to help.
- 2:36:50SPEAKER_03: Resources from volunteers are badly needed.
- 2:36:53SPEAKER_03: Public dollars have dwindled in recent years.
- 2:36:55SPEAKER_03: Budget troubles at the city level threaten to cut them further.
- 2:36:59SPEAKER_03: I'm sorry, this is all the wrong way to look at this.
- 2:37:03SPEAKER_03: There's a cultural aspect to what's happening here.
- 2:37:06SPEAKER_03: There's an absentee father issue that's driving a lot of this and what's happening here.
- 2:37:11SPEAKER_03: It reminds me a lot of public education.
- 2:37:13SPEAKER_03: You can keep throwing all the money that you want at this, but it's not going to go and solve the problem unless you look inward to what's happening within your community.
- 2:37:21SPEAKER_03: Why are these individuals, and I don't care what your background is if you're involved in a gang and you're a youth, but what is driving these young people to get involved in gangs?
- 2:37:31SPEAKER_03: Why is it they're looking for their identity within these criminal elements of society rather than in places of productivity?
- 2:37:39SPEAKER_03: That's what needs to be focused on.
- 2:37:41SPEAKER_03: Not more funding dollars for more outreach.
- 2:37:46SPEAKER_03: Holding these individuals accountable when they do break the law to keep them from going and doing and committing the same crime and acting the same way with a horrible behavior.
- 2:38:00SPEAKER_03: You start there, then at least there's an incentive for these individuals to not go and commit these crimes and shoot other fellow youth during homecoming games, during high school games.
- 2:38:13SPEAKER_03: But at the same time, the community leaders, if they're looking to do something about it, they need to address the problems that they have within their own community.
- 2:38:21SPEAKER_03: Now, groups like Abdul Hadas take ownership of drops in gun violence across Minneapolis, like the 30% drop in non-fatal shootings last year.
- 2:38:31SPEAKER_03: Shootings like Friday's Eden in Eden Prairie, they say cutting their support will be a big step backwards in the effort to put teens on the right path to the future.
- 2:38:41SPEAKER_03: Meanwhile, in addition to urging his community to take more urgent action, another individual also has a warning for politicians in social media.
- 2:38:50SPEAKER_03: I also warn politicians not to use this tragedy for political gain or to label an entire community.
- 2:38:56SPEAKER_03: This is gun violence, and we must call it what it is.
- 2:38:59SPEAKER_03: Let law enforcement and the justice system do their work.
- 2:39:03SPEAKER_03: Give me a break already.
- 2:39:05SPEAKER_03: First off, he's talking to you leftists.
- 2:39:10SPEAKER_03: That recommendation cuts both ways.
- 2:39:15SPEAKER_03: Calling attention to the relevant details and facts regarding these incidents and these crimes isn't racism.
- 2:39:23SPEAKER_03: And to say so is purely political.
- 2:39:27SPEAKER_03: So when you talk about going and exploiting it, the individuals, myself and others, that are talking factually about what's going on and what needs to be done to go and fix the problem, it's not for political expediency.
- 2:39:40SPEAKER_03: Those that are pushing back and taking the you're a racist for pointing out and saying the word Somali on your show.
- 2:39:46SPEAKER_03: You're a racist for for going and having blanket condemnations of the Somali community.
- 2:39:51SPEAKER_03: That hasn't happened.
- 2:39:52SPEAKER_03: I'm talking specifically about individuals from a specific community that are individually going and taking these actions.
- 2:39:58SPEAKER_03: It's not a condemnation on everybody.
- 2:40:02SPEAKER_03: But the individuals that are pushing back and saying that it is, that you're a racist for simply going and pointing out which community is involved in all of this, that is absolutely political because those on the left are completely aware that when it comes to circumstances like this, it is not beneficial for them when it comes to elections.
- 2:40:23SPEAKER_03: It points to a growing problem and it affects everybody.
- 2:40:26SPEAKER_03: You think all the students at the high school that were impacted by this were all a bunch of lefties?
- 2:40:31SPEAKER_03: No, of course not.
- 2:40:32SPEAKER_03: You think they were all a bunch of conservatives?
- 2:40:33SPEAKER_03: No, of course not.
- 2:40:35SPEAKER_38: Hi, John.
- 2:40:35SPEAKER_38: Good morning.
- 2:40:36SPEAKER_38: Hey, I'm listening to all this conversation today about the smalling gangs and the smalling community that's kind of, well, for lack of better terms, taking over Minnesota.
- 2:40:44SPEAKER_38: My husband and I have lived in Blaine for about 12 years now, and it is absolutely astounding to us how we feel as if we live in a third world country because they have completely taken over Blaine.
- 2:40:55SPEAKER_38: It's getting bad.
- 2:40:56SPEAKER_38: We've seen this kids in our neighborhood.
- 2:40:58SPEAKER_38: That was one, you know, quiet little community where our kids could run free from the neighborhood and we didn't care.
- 2:41:03SPEAKER_38: We don't have any worry.
- 2:41:05SPEAKER_38: That's now gone.
- 2:41:06SPEAKER_38: We have disruption at the park by our street every night, every evening, including Somali and kids that are there unwatched, unsupervised.
- 2:41:14SPEAKER_38: We've got them walking all over our neighborhood causing problems in houses.
- 2:41:18SPEAKER_38: It's become a complete disaster.
- 2:41:20SPEAKER_38: And while this is a much smaller scale than what happened at the homecoming on Friday night, it's my fear that Blaine will soon be taken over and become the Somalian gang community that we're seeing in all of these other suburbs around the cities.
- 2:41:36SPEAKER_38: It's very disheartening and sad to me because Blaine is such a great community, but it's now becoming a takeover for the Somalian community.
- 2:41:44SPEAKER_03: And that is the lack of assimilation that I'm speaking about.
- 2:41:50SPEAKER_03: And why does that happen?
- 2:41:53SPEAKER_03: So a part of it comes from within the households, as we mentioned earlier, and that individuals serving in a position in power of power in Somalia and talking about the absentee fatherism taking place within Somali communities as well, and how they culturally go and conduct themselves and their and their families.
- 2:42:09SPEAKER_03: But also when you consider the pandering that's taken place to these communities via politicians who are simply using it for political expediency.
- 2:42:19SPEAKER_03: This controversy surrounding Amy Klobuchar from over the weekend, a 2017 rally in support of remittances going to Somalia.
- 2:42:28SPEAKER_03: A portion of this was Amy ended up picking up a flag that had the American flag on a stick upside down.
- 2:42:33SPEAKER_03: Have no idea whether or not she realized it at the time, be that as it may, those flags were in the audience, and it's relevant to go and ask the question of why those flags were in the audience.
- 2:42:44SPEAKER_03: But she's straight up pandering to these immigrant communities all for the sake of being able to capture their votes when the time comes.
- 2:42:53SPEAKER_03: Dems don't care unless it helps them.
- 2:42:56SPEAKER_03: So they're typically aligned with the leftists.
- 2:42:58SPEAKER_03: Well, what are the leftists doing?
- 2:43:00SPEAKER_03: They're constantly talking about what has a historically, systemically racist country this is, downplaying American exceptionalism, saying if you're a patriot or you have an American flag anywhere near you or you are displaying it, that you are part of the problem.
- 2:43:18SPEAKER_03: And these young kids are hearing this as well: the lack of accountability.
- 2:43:23SPEAKER_03: The fact that if you get in trouble, you're gonna have privilege based off of your skin color.
- 2:43:29SPEAKER_03: You're not gonna be held to the fullest extent of the law.
- 2:43:32SPEAKER_03: Here's a little bit of Amy pandering at that 2017 uh rally that's caused so much controversy.
- 2:43:38SPEAKER_03: And again, research is of an issue that's been addressed.
- 2:43:40SPEAKER_03: There was a fantastic piece on uh written by Luke Sprinkle at Alpha News that came out in August about this rally.
- 2:46:12SPEAKER_08: Any social advocacy, NGO, charity, whatever it is that's receiving money from the government.
- 2:46:18SPEAKER_08: If they want more money, they need to demonstrate how they're being effective, how their money that they're receiving now is going to work, how more money would help because of the short term.
- 2:46:30SPEAKER_08: We need to be able to quantify all these things treated like a business, not just handouts.
- 2:46:35SPEAKER_08: Because how it is just more and more money.
- 2:46:37SPEAKER_08: Well, if you have some more money, explain how.
- 2:46:40SPEAKER_08: And also, you need to outright condemn the poor behavior within the community of which you are trying to give that money, and they need to change their behavior and how they perform in order to make any of this work.
- 2:46:54SPEAKER_03: On the issue of uh the community uh trying to wrap their head around what took place at the high school on Friday, Bill Glon has a piece up at AmericanExperiment.org.
- 2:47:05SPEAKER_03: The city goes online only for its community conversation today.
- 2:47:10SPEAKER_03: It's happening this evening on the recent disturbances, doing that thing with my fingers, do do safety concerns.
- 2:47:19SPEAKER_03: He then writes, How far are we going to fall?
- 2:47:22SPEAKER_03: As Bill noted over the weekend, he had pre-registered to attend the community conversation event to discuss the disturbances in the suburban city of Edyna.
- 2:47:35SPEAKER_03: The event was to be held at the site of the most recent disturbance.
- 2:47:50SPEAKER_03: Due to concerns about campus safety and other scheduled activities.
- 2:47:54SPEAKER_03: Oh, but remember, everybody, there is not a problem to be had.
- 2:48:01SPEAKER_35: There are no roving gangs of Somali people in this community harassing, threatening, doing anything to any of our community members.
- 2:48:14SPEAKER_03: Now the police chief and other dignitaries will no longer need to face the public in person.
- 2:48:19SPEAKER_03: Bill goes on to say, it's as if we've returned to COVID uh to the COVID times.
- 2:48:24SPEAKER_03: Readers will recall recall that we included any dinosop on the recent 20 city anti-fraud summer tour, sold tickets and had security on hand, and hosted over 200 people with no incidents.
- 2:48:37SPEAKER_03: The city itself has chosen a different direction.
- 2:48:42SPEAKER_03: The media's lack of concern when compared to other uh school shooting incidents gives credence to the specific concerns of the Somali community lack of assimilation and accountability.
- 2:48:57SPEAKER_03: Left is trying to blame the guns is also uh not telling, not trying to blame the guns on this, is also telling Dems don't care unless they can exploit the issue politically, and to focus on the guns in this case would not be beneficial because they would expose further of what has actually uh transpired.
- 2:49:14SPEAKER_03: And remember, the left doesn't want you to know what's happening.
- 2:49:17SPEAKER_35: Let me repeat that again because I've heard this often.
- 2:49:20SPEAKER_35: There are no woving gangs of Somalis targeting or harassing or doing anything inappropriate to any community members.
- 2:49:29SPEAKER_35: Those are simply lies.
- 2:49:31SPEAKER_35: It is not true.
- 2:49:33SPEAKER_18: It's interesting, John, that they canceled that meeting in Edina.
- 2:49:37SPEAKER_18: You have to understand the diff the distance between the Edina police station and uh the school is about two blocks.
- 2:49:47SPEAKER_18: That's a piece of info.
- 2:49:48SPEAKER_03: Thank you for the info, uh Matthew.
- 2:49:49SPEAKER_03: I appreciate it.
- 2:49:51SPEAKER_03: And listen, uh, the leftists redirecting the issue to essentially Republicans pounce exposes, subconscious or not, that this is an issue that can damage the DFL politically.
- 2:50:00SPEAKER_03: Uh Mike Norton fancies himself as a Minnesota apologist czar, or that's just a title that I gave this guy.
- 2:50:07SPEAKER_03: He wrote this White conservatives are so mad about gun violence reaching suburban high schools, they can barely mask their dog whistling.
- 2:50:15SPEAKER_03: See, they have to downplay and diminish the legitimate concerns and call anybody that actually just points to the facts as being a dog whistle.
- 2:50:24SPEAKER_03: Walter Hudson responded, the implication of this that we should be more concerned about the race of the perpetrators than their behavior, and that we should surrender our ability to defend ourselves against this onslaught for reasons, Democrats are insane uh naval gazing nihilists.
- 2:50:43SPEAKER_03: Representative Tom Emmer posted over the weekend, of course, the Eden Prairie football game shooting was another Somali gang crime.
- 2:50:50SPEAKER_03: Will anyone in the Minnesota media, other than Alpha News, tell Minnesotans the truth?
- 2:50:56SPEAKER_03: Or are they too concerned about being politically correct?
- 2:50:59SPEAKER_03: It's not racist to call out Somali gang violence.
- 2:51:03SPEAKER_03: To which Mike Norton responded, Tom Emmer is a racist piece of blank.
- 2:51:12SPEAKER_03: See my previous statements a moment ago.
- 2:51:15SPEAKER_03: He goes on to say it's embarrassing that he represents the Minnesota, Minnesota in Congress.
- 2:51:20SPEAKER_03: No, what's embarrassing is Mike Norton desperate for attention.
- 2:51:24SPEAKER_03: And he gets it with his ridiculous comments, but it's good to know the lunacy that is said on the left.
- 2:51:31SPEAKER_03: He's jealous.
- 2:51:32SPEAKER_03: He's jealous that Tom Emmer has a voice much larger with a much bigger audience than he does.
- 2:51:38SPEAKER_03: And he's doing his part to carry the water for the DFL.
- 2:51:44SPEAKER_03: Walter Hudson responded, as usual, the R-word is uh tossed around with impotent rage and no justification.
- 2:51:51SPEAKER_03: If it's racist to identify criminal perpetrators, and make no mistake, Democrats legitimately believe that it is, then I guess we should die as pennants.
- 2:52:00SPEAKER_03: That's literally the left position.
- 2:52:04SPEAKER_03: Mike Norton went on to write uh two of the most common offenses of Tom Emmer's blatantly racist statement are it's okay to be racist if you're really upset.
- 2:52:12SPEAKER_03: It's not racist to be racist while citing some other random piece of data.
- 2:52:18SPEAKER_03: A few more responses from Walter Hudson on this because he was just spot on online.
- 2:52:22SPEAKER_03: The correct defense is to deny the premise of the accusation because it's false.
- 2:52:26SPEAKER_03: Identifying the perpetrator's race, let alone an entire uh an entire gang, is not racist.
- 2:52:32SPEAKER_03: Using race to excuse criminal behavior is racist.
- 2:52:35SPEAKER_03: And what have I been saying on the show all morning long?
- 2:52:38SPEAKER_03: The only likely upside of this is that the kids will remember, and they will remember what was stolen from them and by who.
- 2:52:45SPEAKER_03: And that was probably the most pointed comment that I'd seen regarding this.
- 2:52:51SPEAKER_03: He's right.
- 2:52:53SPEAKER_03: And that's why it's to the leftist demise to downplay and blame this on Republicans' pounce or individuals pointing the specificity of the individuals involved, it's to their own demise because Walter Hudson's absolutely right.
- 2:53:08SPEAKER_03: These are young individuals.
- 2:53:10SPEAKER_03: Democrats know this, impressionable minds.
- 2:53:13SPEAKER_03: They do the bet their best to go and indoctrinate them as best as they possibly can so that they can use them politically when they get old enough to go and vote.
- 2:53:24SPEAKER_03: This will have an impact on them.
- 2:53:26SPEAKER_03: It's why you don't see local media doing on the street, on campus interviews with these students, and maybe they do starting today.
- 2:53:33SPEAKER_03: One can only hope.
- 2:53:35SPEAKER_03: I'm not holding my breath because they don't want to hear the honesty coming from the students and the impact that it's actually going to potentially have on them.
- 2:53:44SPEAKER_03: Because they won't forget what was taken from them.
- 2:53:47SPEAKER_03: Homecoming canceled, games canceled.
- 2:53:51SPEAKER_03: These students work hard to achieve, to excel in high school.
- 2:53:56SPEAKER_03: Not all, some do, but the athletes certainly do, right?
- 2:54:00SPEAKER_03: And this has been taken away from them.
- 2:54:02SPEAKER_03: They won't forget.
- 2:54:04SPEAKER_03: And the Democrats are dumb for ignoring that particular fact.
- 2:54:10SPEAKER_03: Alright, before we wrap up the show today, thank you for uh all of the uh comments that have uh rolled uh rolled in this morning.
- 2:54:17SPEAKER_03: I greatly appreciate it.
- 2:54:18SPEAKER_03: We didn't get to a lot of them.
- 2:54:19SPEAKER_03: 651-964-0294.
- 2:54:22SPEAKER_03: Uh we'll talk more about this uh on uh tomorrow's show.
- 2:54:26SPEAKER_03: First off, let me set the uh let me set the stage here because I actually found the full clip.
- 2:54:31SPEAKER_03: Uh so last week the Minneapolis City Council approved the ordinance that would require the autonomous rideshare vehicles or robotaxis, specifically the uh Waymo's, to have to have a human, a babysitter in the uh in the driver's seat.
- 2:54:50SPEAKER_03: However, Minneapolis man, baby, mayor, mom, jeans, Jacob Fry, the broken clock, right twice a day that he is vetoed that ordinance on Friday.
- 2:54:58SPEAKER_03: I found the full clip of um this was a city council member.
- 2:55:06SPEAKER_03: Sorry, I'm just getting my notes uh notes out here.
- 2:55:09SPEAKER_03: Uh this is Pearl Warren.
- 2:55:11SPEAKER_03: So the clip that spawned one of the uh parodies that we'll share with you here in just uh in just a moment, the uh the Waymo song.
- 2:55:18SPEAKER_03: Um Pearl War uh Warren's full comments regarding the autonomous vehicles when they were debating the issue during a Minneapolis City Council meeting.
- 2:55:26SPEAKER_23: One thing I did see, and I was just in Nevada, and I saw this with these Waymo cars.
- 2:55:32SPEAKER_23: Babe, we had an intersection and everyone stopped.
