- 0:00Speaker 1: Three days.
- 0:01Speaker 2: You need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 3: All right, I'm just getting things started here on this
- 0:04Speaker 3: Thursday morning. Thank you for joining us. It's already Thursday.
- 0:07Speaker 3: This week is cooking if you ask me. Ricky's right
- 0:09Speaker 3: here with those three things, presented by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Thank God, it's cooking.
- 0:15Speaker 3: It is man.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Carol G will receive a special award at the AMAS
- 0:19Speaker 1: this year. She's getting the International Artist Award of Excellence,
- 0:23Speaker 1: becoming the first artist since Whitney Houston in two thousand
- 0:26Speaker 1: and nine to earn the honor. Producers for the show
- 0:29Speaker 1: praised her in a statement, saying she has quote redefined
- 0:32Speaker 1: what it means to be a global artist and helped
- 0:35Speaker 1: take Latin music to us unprecedented heights. The singer just
- 0:39Speaker 1: recently became the first Latina artist to headline Coachella and
- 0:42Speaker 1: sold two million tickets in four days for her upcoming
- 0:46Speaker 1: Trumpetour stadium run. Really impressive stuff. So if you want
- 0:49Speaker 1: to see her get her award, the twenty twenty six
- 0:51Speaker 1: AMAS are going to air on May twenty fifth on
- 0:54Speaker 1: CBS and Paramount Plus. Congrats to Carol G. That is
- 0:57Speaker 1: just quite the feat, so exciting. The first wah wah
- 1:02Speaker 1: in Nashville is going to officially open next month. Also
- 1:06Speaker 1: very exciting. So it's been four years since they announced
- 1:10Speaker 1: that wah Wah was going to move to Nashville in
- 1:13Speaker 1: some way, in some capacity, that they were going to
- 1:15Speaker 1: start opening their convenience stores here in the area. Now
- 1:18Speaker 1: they've built their first one in Clarksville and it's set
- 1:20Speaker 1: to open on June eighteenth. God, I love a wah Wah.
- 1:24Speaker 1: So this is really good stuff. They're also currently hiring
- 1:27Speaker 1: for their forthcoming Bellevue location, So if you're looking for
- 1:30Speaker 1: a job, now is your time to go ahead and
- 1:32Speaker 1: apply for that. I don't know when it's going to open.
- 1:35Speaker 1: There was no information on exactly when that's gonna be,
- 1:38Speaker 1: you know, the next like we know what's the next one,
- 1:40Speaker 1: we just don't know when it's going to open. So
- 1:42Speaker 1: June eighteenth and Clarksville check out the new wah Wah
- 1:45Speaker 1: and gen Z. They are bringing back the hacky sack.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Hackey sacks are popping up across high schools and college campuses.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Teens are forming clubs and spending lunch breaks playing Hackey sack.
- 1:57Speaker 3: I love it.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Trend exploded over just the It has a few weeks,
- 2:00Speaker 1: especially in the Northeast, demand has gotten so intense that
- 2:05Speaker 1: stores are reportedly selling out of hacky sacks, and some
- 2:08Speaker 1: online sellers are claiming that they just like don't have
- 2:12Speaker 1: the capacity to keep up with a hacky sack demand
- 2:15Speaker 1: right now. So parents are hyped about this because obviously
- 2:17Speaker 1: this means teams are getting outside, they're socializing face to face,
- 2:21Speaker 1: they're spending less time glued to their phones, and obviously
- 2:24Speaker 1: if the parents are millennials, it just brings you back. Sure,
- 2:27Speaker 1: it brings you back to those hacky sack days. I'm
- 2:29Speaker 1: Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three things you need
- 2:31Speaker 1: to know.
- 2:31Speaker 3: And we were talking yesterday about how the nineties style
- 2:34Speaker 3: like fashion is back and now these yeads have hacky
- 2:36Speaker 3: sacks as well.
- 2:37Speaker 4: That's so cool.
- 2:38Speaker 1: I was defining who is using hacky sacks too.
- 2:41Speaker 3: I was never very good at a hackey sack, and
- 2:43Speaker 3: I always felt really like embarrassed by that, so then
- 2:45Speaker 3: I just wouldn't try.
- 2:46Speaker 1: And I just we aren't really coordinated. What that's so crazy.
- 2:51Speaker 1: I didn't ever expect that about you.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Thank you. Ricky has got fun carpenter.
- 2:59Speaker 4: I have no rhythm, can't dance I can't move anything.
- 3:02Speaker 3: We have Alex Warren tickets out.
- 3:04Speaker 5: Of the way for the first caller, Ricky, Zach and
- 3:07Speaker 5: Manno in the morning on the River.
- 3:10Speaker 6: I'm just a little bit in shocked, right, Oh, shocked.
- 3:13Speaker 1: That's good. That's good, Bob and Murphysboro. Welcome to one
- 3:17Speaker 1: of seven five of the River. We love to hear
- 3:19Speaker 1: that you're shocked. I'm assuming that you guys have been
- 3:21Speaker 1: trying to get these Alex Warren tickets from us.
- 3:23Speaker 7: I have.
- 3:24Speaker 6: I've been trying everybody.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Okay, are you trying for you or for somebody else?
- 3:27Speaker 1: Because we've learned that a lot of kids like Alex.
- 3:30Speaker 4: Warren myself, Okay, I am it's.
- 3:33Speaker 6: All for you.
- 3:35Speaker 3: Have you seen him before?
- 3:37Speaker 2: I have not.
- 3:38Speaker 6: I just love his music.
- 3:39Speaker 3: We love him too. He played River on the rooftop
- 3:41Speaker 3: for us. What was that two years ago?
- 3:43Speaker 1: Two years ago? Yeah, before he really blew up.
- 3:46Speaker 6: Man, I've been in the last two years, so I'm
- 3:48Speaker 6: just missing.
- 3:51Speaker 4: Well.
- 3:51Speaker 1: I can say there's good news for you because you
- 3:54Speaker 1: are the first caller of the day this morning, Bob,
- 3:56Speaker 1: You're getting tickets to see Alan Reached doing arena fantastics.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Man, I'm so excited We're excited for you, truly, What
- 4:05Speaker 3: are you doing today?
- 4:06Speaker 4: Tell us a little more about Bob.
- 4:08Speaker 6: I'm just literally gotten.
- 4:10Speaker 3: That's why added the word what do you do Bob?
- 4:12Speaker 6: Or's the hospital here?
- 4:13Speaker 4: Murvy's well, oh amazing?
- 4:15Speaker 1: Are you a nurse? Are you working out the front office?
- 4:19Speaker 6: Facilities management? I'll try to keep the hospital running.
- 4:22Speaker 4: Very important.
- 4:23Speaker 3: Ricky and I are both big fans of The Pit,
- 4:25Speaker 3: and anytime we have a hospital worker on the line,
- 4:27Speaker 3: we have to talk about the Pit. Do you watch
- 4:29Speaker 3: that show?
- 4:29Speaker 6: I just started watching. I got like halfway through the
- 4:33Speaker 6: first season.
- 4:34Speaker 3: So good.
- 4:35Speaker 1: You have so many good moments that are coming your way.
- 4:37Speaker 1: I want to rewatch it again. I've seen it twice
- 4:39Speaker 1: all the way through already, Bob, I'm obsessed.
- 4:42Speaker 6: It's a great show, very realistic.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Everybody says, oh jinks, Kevin, you owe me a million dollars.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Oh no, I didn't know that was the rule of
- 4:52Speaker 3: jez it.
- 4:56Speaker 4: You got these Alex Morn tickets?
- 4:58Speaker 6: All right?
- 4:59Speaker 3: Great day work today, man, and have so much fun
- 5:02Speaker 3: at the show. We're happy for you, We're pumped that
- 5:03Speaker 3: you got and we're gonna put you on hold to
- 5:05Speaker 3: get all your infoka.
- 5:06Speaker 6: Thank you so much.
- 5:07Speaker 3: Of course, one second, Ricky, would you settle for a dollar?
- 5:11Speaker 1: I'll take a dollar. Just can't be choosers. You're a
- 5:14Speaker 1: horrible negotiator, Kevin. It's rough out here. Dollar's gonna get
- 5:18Speaker 1: me one step closer to another chomp. Okay, I'll take it.
- 5:22Speaker 3: A meat stick. We've got more of these tickets tomorrow.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Last year, sever my fiance AJ essentially wants to start
- 5:30Speaker 1: a new wedding trend, and I don't know how I
- 5:33Speaker 1: feel about it.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Is this really something that you're As far as you know,
- 5:37Speaker 3: nobody's doing this.
- 5:38Speaker 1: As far as I know, no one's doing this. And
- 5:41Speaker 1: he specifically wants to do it for our elopement. He
- 5:44Speaker 1: has no argument for it other than he just wants
- 5:46Speaker 1: to do it. And I just don't know how I
- 5:49Speaker 1: feel about it.
- 5:50Speaker 3: The elopement's coming up. I gotta say, I don't know
- 5:51Speaker 3: what this is, but I typically agree with AJ. I know,
- 5:55Speaker 3: so I don't know what it is. Yeah, we're gonna
- 5:57Speaker 3: find out next, but already I'm on board.
- 5:58Speaker 4: I can tell you that.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Splain it all next. On one to seven five of
- 6:01Speaker 1: the River.
- 6:03Speaker 5: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on the
- 6:07Speaker 5: very lucky.
- 6:08Speaker 3: Right now, it's one O seven five the River. You're
- 6:10Speaker 3: about to hear about a hot new wedding trim. You're
- 6:14Speaker 3: the first to hear about this. Aj Ricky's fiance AJ
- 6:17Speaker 3: is nothing about a trendsetter, and they've got their elonement
- 6:19Speaker 3: coming up, and he wants to do something that apparently nobody's.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Doing, nobody that I know of, at least, And he
- 6:26Speaker 1: just sprung it on me in the middle of a
- 6:29Speaker 1: conversation last night. But I don't know where it came from.
- 6:33Speaker 1: He doesn't want to show me what he's wearing for
- 6:37Speaker 1: the wedding.
- 6:38Speaker 3: Oh, I've picked.
- 6:40Speaker 1: It out, Like I helped him pick out what he's
- 6:43Speaker 1: going to wear, and helped him find the vibe and
- 6:45Speaker 1: the idea of like what we both thought made sense
- 6:48Speaker 1: for the wedding. Okay, and he ordered everything that he
- 6:51Speaker 1: needed to order. He got it all in. But he
- 6:54Speaker 1: doesn't want me to see the full thing together. And
- 6:57Speaker 1: that makes me so nervous.
- 6:58Speaker 3: That's interesting. I wonder if he's got like a surprise planned,
- 7:02Speaker 3: if there's a piece to this outfit that you're not
- 7:05Speaker 3: aware of.
- 7:06Speaker 1: I said to him, like, are you just upset because
- 7:10Speaker 1: it's the bride's day and the bride does that because
- 7:12Speaker 1: that's typically the way that it goes is you don't
- 7:15Speaker 1: see your bride before the wedding. You don't see your
- 7:17Speaker 1: weding dress. You don't know what it looks like, nothing
- 7:18Speaker 1: like that. And it's been killing me to not show
- 7:21Speaker 1: him what my wedding dress looks like. I want it
- 7:23Speaker 1: to so bad and we're not. I'm not showing him,
- 7:26Speaker 1: so we're holding true to that tradition. So I was like,
- 7:28Speaker 1: are you just jealous because it's more of a me
- 7:30Speaker 1: day than a you day and you just want to
- 7:32Speaker 1: have your moment and he was like, no, I just
- 7:34Speaker 1: don't want to show you, and it's freaking me out.
- 7:36Speaker 1: I want to make sure that it actually fits correctly
- 7:38Speaker 1: and looks the way that it had like that I
- 7:40Speaker 1: have it in my head and he won't show me.
- 7:43Speaker 3: Okay. I normally am in agreement with AJ on most things.
- 7:47Speaker 3: Love AJ don't. I don't like this idea because it's
- 7:51Speaker 3: going to also take away from that moment where he
- 7:53Speaker 3: sees you in the dress for the first time, because
- 7:55Speaker 3: that's the big moment where you know, you get his reaction.
- 7:59Speaker 3: He's crying, he's about to marry you, and so now
- 8:02Speaker 3: he's just adding to that moment. Now you have to
- 8:04Speaker 3: also comment on what he's wearing. It just kind of
- 8:06Speaker 3: like waters him down a bit in my opinion.
- 8:09Speaker 1: I agree, And like I said, I'm nervous because I
- 8:12Speaker 1: want to make sure it actually fits the way that
- 8:13Speaker 1: I think it does in my head and like make
- 8:15Speaker 1: sense and works. Yeah, because we're not doing a traditional
- 8:18Speaker 1: tux or anything like that. He's not wearing a suit
- 8:21Speaker 1: because it's a beach wedding. It's very like chill vibes
- 8:24Speaker 1: that we're going for, and I think it's gonna be
- 8:26Speaker 1: a very elevated, nice beach style, But I don't know
- 8:29Speaker 1: for sure unless I see him in the outfit that
- 8:32Speaker 1: we picked out.
- 8:33Speaker 3: I still think he's gonna have some sort of accoutrement
- 8:36Speaker 3: that you're not. Like, he's gonna have like a flavor
- 8:38Speaker 3: flave clock or something that he wants to surprise you with.
- 8:41Speaker 1: We're getting married on a cliffall toss him over. There's
- 8:44Speaker 1: no way that man knows better than to do anything
- 8:47Speaker 1: insane like that. But maybe he does have some kind
- 8:50Speaker 1: of like surprise setup. I don't know. But then if
- 8:52Speaker 1: he doesn't have a surprise setup. Then I shouldn't think
- 8:54Speaker 1: that he's gonna have a surprise setup because then I'm
- 8:55Speaker 1: gonna be let down. This is horrible.
- 8:57Speaker 3: I think he can still make it a big moment.
- 8:59Speaker 3: I think he can, like eventies you seeing him in
- 9:01Speaker 3: these clothes for the first time, but do it at
- 9:03Speaker 3: home before you guys leave on the trip, Like, okay,
- 9:06Speaker 3: you know what I mean. Like maybe yeah, like this
- 9:08Speaker 3: Sunday night, six o'clock, close your eyes, you're gonna see it.
- 9:11Speaker 3: And they're like, he'll still have his moment. It just
- 9:13Speaker 3: won't step on your moment.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Okay. I also don't hate the idea of even doing
- 9:17Speaker 1: that on the wedding day before we leave to go
- 9:20Speaker 1: to where we need to get very little.
- 9:22Speaker 3: Time to fix whatever's broken. Yep.
- 9:24Speaker 1: And that's a hymn problem I'm getting. I've moved through
- 9:29Speaker 1: the shock and the confusion to like the I will
- 9:32Speaker 1: be angry and I will just have to deal with it,
- 9:34Speaker 1: and that's fine.
- 9:36Speaker 6: A J.
- 9:37Speaker 3: I know you listen to the show, buddy, don't do this.
- 9:39Speaker 3: Don't do this.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Congrats on the upcoming from himself.
- 9:42Speaker 4: Yeah, don't go it, man, all right, I'm on your
- 9:46Speaker 4: on team Ricky Here.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Three things you need to thank you so.
- 9:50Speaker 3: Much for starting your Thursday with us. Glad you're here.
- 9:52Speaker 3: Ricky's got those three things. Presented by Mark Spain real Estate.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Savannah Banana Star Jackson Olsen is going to be joining
- 9:59Speaker 1: Dancing with the Star. He's the second basement for Georgia's
- 10:02Speaker 1: Savannah Banana's baseball team, and he's got quite the following
- 10:04Speaker 1: on social media because of it. It's tough to try
- 10:07Speaker 1: to get to a Savannah Banana's game. You have to
- 10:10Speaker 1: basically win the lottery. They do a lottery and then
- 10:12Speaker 1: they pick you and then you can get a ticket
- 10:14Speaker 1: to go. It's so hard. I've tried so many times.
- 10:17Speaker 1: So this is actually a really awesome way to be
- 10:20Speaker 1: able to see him without going to a game. Lick
- 10:23Speaker 1: Jackson being part of the Savannah Bananas. We already know
- 10:25Speaker 1: that he can dance and put on a show, so
- 10:27Speaker 1: this is gonna be a fun way for him to
- 10:28Speaker 1: explore the ballroom style of dance, which is something he's
- 10:31Speaker 1: spoken openly about wanting to do. He said that he
- 10:33Speaker 1: would be very interested in being part of Dancing with
- 10:36Speaker 1: the Stars, so really pumped for him that it's actually happening.
- 10:39Speaker 1: He is now the third contestant to be announced, alongside
- 10:42Speaker 1: Sierra Miller and Maura Higgins from Summerhouse and Love Island UK.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Shakespeare in the Park is coming back this summer. You
- 10:49Speaker 1: can catch a Midsummer Night's Dream at Centennial Park Fanshell
- 10:54Speaker 1: from August twentieth through September twentieth. They do the shows
- 10:57Speaker 1: as pay what you will for general admission. They do
- 11:00Speaker 1: recommend twenty dollars per ticket, which I think is extremely
- 11:03Speaker 1: affordable during these very expensive times. They do have reserve
- 11:07Speaker 1: seating at a higher price, and they're currently a lot
- 11:10Speaker 1: available for purchase because they just announced it. So if
- 11:13Speaker 1: you go to the Nashville Shakespeare Festival website, you can
- 11:17Speaker 1: buy yourself some tickets and go check that out. They
- 11:19Speaker 1: do so well every year, and every year, I'm like,
- 11:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna go at some point, I think this summer
- 11:24Speaker 1: is the time, and we have yet another Grillos Pickles collab.
- 11:30Speaker 1: They are just doing collabs left and right and sender
- 11:33Speaker 1: and back. It's everywhere, no matter where you go, there's Grillos.
- 11:37Speaker 1: They join forces with Smoothie King and are rolling out
- 11:40Speaker 1: of Pickle Smoothie ahead of International Pickle Day on May sixteenth.
- 11:44Speaker 1: I had no idea there was an International Pickle Day,
- 11:47Speaker 1: but I'm so excited to know that that exists.
- 11:49Speaker 3: I'm shocked that you, of.
- 11:50Speaker 4: All people I know, that be like Christmas for you.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Zach and I are obsessed with pickles. So the smoothie
- 11:57Speaker 1: mixes grillos pickles with bananas or organic kale and coconut water.
- 12:01Speaker 3: I try it.
- 12:03Speaker 1: I will try anything once, especially if it's got pickles
- 12:05Speaker 1: in it. You can grab the smoothie now, and if
- 12:07Speaker 1: you'd rather just try a sample, you could always just
- 12:10Speaker 1: get yourself a nice free four ounce pickle smoothie in
- 12:13Speaker 1: store sample on Pickle Day instead. But a lot of
- 12:16Speaker 1: people so far say it's really good, so give it
- 12:21Speaker 1: a try. I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three
- 12:23Speaker 1: things you need to know.
- 12:23Speaker 4: When is that again?
- 12:24Speaker 3: When is the Pickle Day?
- 12:25Speaker 1: May sixteeth?
- 12:26Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, okay, so like weekend this Saturday? Wow,
- 12:29Speaker 3: all right, get yourself a pickle smoothie. Here's Bieber. Thank you, Ricky.
- 12:33Speaker 3: We're getting back into the music. Zach's out today, so
- 12:35Speaker 3: I've got the fact for you. Zack's Fax presented by
- 12:38Speaker 3: Kevin Mano. Next, we're learning class is in.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Sessions Sachs Facts brought to you by Mark Spain.
- 12:46Speaker 4: Real Estate on one O seven five.
- 12:47Speaker 3: The River brought to you by Marx s Bain real
- 12:49Speaker 3: Estate and Kevin man O Zach is out today. So
- 12:51Speaker 3: I've got the fact this one is timely. There's a
- 12:54Speaker 3: town in Alaska. I think it's pronounced oo kiak Vic.
- 12:58Speaker 3: It's very hard to read. There's about forty five hundred
- 13:01Speaker 3: people that live there. It's the northernmost city in America.
- 13:03Speaker 3: They just saw their last sunset for eighty four days.
- 13:06Speaker 3: They have entered their annual period of endless sunlight. The
- 13:09Speaker 3: sun will be up on their small town until August second.
- 13:13Speaker 3: So crazy, I know, it's so it's hard to wrap
- 13:15Speaker 3: your mind around. And then they deal with the opposite
- 13:16Speaker 3: of this in the winter there's no sun from November
- 13:19Speaker 3: to January. That would be brutal.
- 13:21Speaker 1: No, the opposite is really what would like just send
- 13:24Speaker 1: me off a cliff.
- 13:24Speaker 3: I mean, they'd both be very hard. But that much darkness, no,
- 13:27Speaker 3: thank you.
- 13:28Speaker 1: Darkness all the time the day's on ends.
- 13:31Speaker 3: That's I can't imagine anything more depressing. Wild the capital
- 13:34Speaker 3: of seasonal depression disorder.
- 13:36Speaker 5: There you go, there's your Fact of the Day Ricky, is,
- 13:39Speaker 5: Zach and Manno in the Morning.
- 13:41Speaker 3: On how have you bombed a job interview? That's our
- 13:46Speaker 3: question right now. It's one O seven to five the River.
- 13:48Speaker 3: We asked because we saw there's a story going around.
- 13:52Speaker 3: A guy was asked what his weakness is and he answered.
- 13:54Speaker 1: With oreos, that's a funny answer, but I don't think.
- 13:59Speaker 4: That's what they meant.
- 14:00Speaker 1: He completely blacked out, he said, and he knew that
- 14:03Speaker 1: question was coming up. He just he was like, oreos,
- 14:06Speaker 1: I can't stop beating them. I'll drink an entire junk
- 14:08Speaker 1: of milk.
- 14:09Speaker 4: I think I'd hire that guy.
- 14:11Speaker 3: But how did you bomb?
- 14:12Speaker 4: In interviews?
- 14:13Speaker 3: Six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine, one oh seven
- 14:16Speaker 3: have you ever bombed?
- 14:17Speaker 7: One?
- 14:17Speaker 1: Ricky?
- 14:18Speaker 4: Oh for sure, Yeah, me too.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Let us know. Christina Aguileres one of seven five River.
- 14:23Speaker 5: Thanks for being a part of our morning, Ricky, Zach
- 14:25Speaker 5: and Menno in the Morning, Have you.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Ever bombed a job interview? It's one of seven five
- 14:31Speaker 1: of the River. It's very stressful to be in an
- 14:34Speaker 1: interview and it just it leads to very awkward situations.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Morgan and Laverne, how have you bombed a job? Interview? Before.
- 14:43Speaker 7: I wouldn't say that I bombed it, but I think
- 14:46Speaker 7: I kind of uh rocked the interviewer perspective.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Oh okay, tell us what I.
- 14:53Speaker 8: Am very much a I am woman, hear.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Me war, and I love anything you can do, I
- 14:58Speaker 2: can do better.
- 15:00Speaker 7: I was in an interview and he asked.
- 15:03Speaker 8: Me if I can drive a box truck and.
- 15:06Speaker 7: I said, yes, I can, and he said, well, not
- 15:09Speaker 7: many women can do that job comfortably. And I said, well,
- 15:13Speaker 7: I guarantee I can drive miles around you and do
- 15:17Speaker 7: it ten times, so, oh my gosh. And he looked
- 15:21Speaker 7: at me and said, you know what, I think you
- 15:23Speaker 7: might be overqualified. I don't think this is going to work.
- 15:26Speaker 8: And I said, you know what, I agree.
- 15:29Speaker 3: Do you think he just felt like emasculated by your
- 15:32Speaker 3: u your threat.
- 15:34Speaker 8: It wasn't a threat. It was brutal, honest.
- 15:37Speaker 1: See that's what men think though, because that's right where
- 15:40Speaker 1: Kevin's brain wet was to threat. It was just that
- 15:43Speaker 1: she was confident.
- 15:44Speaker 3: So why would you ever say that to somebody that
- 15:46Speaker 3: you're trying to get a job from. Why would you
- 15:47Speaker 3: criticize their skills and say you're so much better than them? Anything?
- 15:50Speaker 1: Hey criticize her first.
- 15:52Speaker 7: It wasn't criticizing, it was just being honest. I was
- 15:55Speaker 7: honest about my capabilities.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Wow, and I know what I can do and what
- 16:01Speaker 2: I bring to the table. And I mean, I'm certified
- 16:04Speaker 2: on a.
- 16:04Speaker 8: Bunch of equipment and I'm five foot three, one hundred
- 16:06Speaker 8: and forty pounds.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Like, I'm okay, Morgan, my girl.
- 16:11Speaker 7: Like I'm the most positive person you'll meet. Like, I'll
- 16:14Speaker 7: be your best friend, but I'll also whoop some.
- 16:16Speaker 8: Butt for you.
- 16:19Speaker 3: Morgan.
- 16:19Speaker 1: You and I would get along very well.
- 16:21Speaker 4: Yeah, you guys are cut from the same class.
- 16:22Speaker 7: So I listen to you guys every morning, and Ricky,
- 16:25Speaker 7: I would love to hang out with you.
- 16:27Speaker 1: We're gonna make that happen. We're gonna make that happen
- 16:29Speaker 1: one day. Make sure you follow me on Instagrammable. We'll
- 16:31Speaker 1: go get coffee together or something, or maybe a drink.
- 16:33Speaker 4: Or too, or just beat some people up.
- 16:35Speaker 7: Hey, I don't drink coffee. I'm not allowed to drink coffee.
- 16:38Speaker 7: I don't need to.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Okay, we can go do some tea.
- 16:41Speaker 7: Or maybe a Margarito.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Oh, Margarita's. I'm in and we're doing Margarita's.
- 16:44Speaker 3: Morgan, yes, ma'am, And hey, hey, hey, before we let
- 16:48Speaker 3: you go, Ricky's middle name is Morgan.
- 16:50Speaker 1: It is yeah, my middle name is Morgan, so we
- 16:53Speaker 1: have that in common too, and.
- 16:54Speaker 7: You know that's not a common name, and it's also
- 16:57Speaker 7: a unisex name.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, my family would full unix for my name.
- 17:01Speaker 3: Right, Ricky Morgan, thank you for calling you. Guys are
- 17:05Speaker 3: going to be best friends. I can feel it already,
- 17:07Speaker 3: y'all have a great day.
- 17:08Speaker 1: You two love.
- 17:10Speaker 7: Thank y'all.
- 17:10Speaker 3: I'm Morgan. I felt for a second They're like there
- 17:14Speaker 3: were two of you that I was arguing with.
- 17:15Speaker 1: And that is what you said her right too. I
- 17:18Speaker 1: was like, oh my gosh, yes, this is me, this
- 17:20Speaker 1: is me, I am you. You are me Morgan real quick.
- 17:24Speaker 3: I had a period of time where I was in
- 17:26Speaker 3: charge of hiring interns at an old race.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Why you do that?
- 17:30Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 17:30Speaker 3: It's a bad idea, but there was legitimately one hundred
- 17:33Speaker 3: percent there was a kid I'll never forget. He asked
- 17:35Speaker 3: during the interview process, what like the drug testing policy was?
- 17:38Speaker 3: And that's that's not something you want to do during
- 17:41Speaker 3: an interview?
- 17:42Speaker 4: How did you bomb a job? Interview?
- 17:44Speaker 3: Six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine.
- 17:47Speaker 5: Wake up happy with Ricky, Zach and Manno in the
- 17:51Speaker 5: morning on the River.
- 17:53Speaker 3: Heather and Dixon is on the line right now. It's
- 17:55Speaker 3: one O seven five the River. We're talking about job interviews.
- 17:58Speaker 3: How'd you bomb them? Did you bomb?
- 18:01Speaker 9: Well?
- 18:02Speaker 6: Sort of?
- 18:02Speaker 2: So.
- 18:03Speaker 9: I think the funniest job interview question I ever had
- 18:05Speaker 9: is I was interviewed at a at a company when
- 18:10Speaker 9: I was living.
- 18:10Speaker 8: In Albuquerque, New Mexico.
- 18:12Speaker 9: Very religious apparently there they asked me if I had
- 18:15Speaker 9: any problems with LDS. I was in my early twenties.
- 18:18Speaker 9: I had no idea what they were talking about. Yes,
- 18:24Speaker 9: I responded, I don't have any medical problems that I'm
- 18:26Speaker 9: aware of.
- 18:32Speaker 1: That is phenomenal that it's like an AO answer to
- 18:37Speaker 1: I was in my early twenties.
- 18:38Speaker 7: I had no idea.
- 18:40Speaker 3: Did they clear it up? Did they explain it to
- 18:42Speaker 3: you right there on the spot, or No?
- 18:43Speaker 9: They absolutely did not.
- 18:45Speaker 8: They just laughed and thought.
- 18:46Speaker 6: I had a great sense of humor.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Oh my god, So it worked in your favor.
- 18:50Speaker 2: It genuinely did.
- 18:51Speaker 9: And I had no idea what they were talking about
- 18:54Speaker 9: until I don't know, about a week into the job
- 18:56Speaker 9: and somebody's walking down the hallways singing in time, I
- 19:00Speaker 9: believe is what they call it.
- 19:01Speaker 1: Oh my god, I'm I'm dying, laughing, my I'm crying.
- 19:04Speaker 1: I actually haven't. Just like the vision of this man
- 19:07Speaker 1: going to you have any issues with LDS and you
- 19:10Speaker 1: going I don't. I don't have any medical problems.
- 19:12Speaker 9: Actually like six of them.
- 19:17Speaker 8: And backing and laughing, and I had no idea. You're fantastic.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Cry yeah.
- 19:26Speaker 2: And then the next follow up question is what do
- 19:28Speaker 2: you cook?
- 19:28Speaker 8: Because they have a full kitchen in the office, and
- 19:30Speaker 8: I'm like, I love to cook. And I'm like, oh,
- 19:31Speaker 8: well you're hired.
- 19:33Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, what a strange interview.
- 19:35Speaker 5: That's so weird.
- 19:37Speaker 2: It was one I'll never forget.
- 19:38Speaker 9: And I figured I share you guys are talking about it.
- 19:40Speaker 1: No, that was phenomenal. That really got me.
- 19:42Speaker 3: Ricky is just wiping tears out of her face right now.
- 19:47Speaker 8: Thank you for.
- 19:48Speaker 3: Calling, Heather, have a great day, Thank you for listening.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Absolutely thanks.
- 19:52Speaker 4: I love light in the game of the day.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Next, we've got Thomas, Rhett and Nile Hornzickets coming up.
- 19:58Speaker 5: Just picture Ricky, Zach and Manno in the morning.
- 20:03Speaker 1: On Thomas right, Nile Horn. They're going to be together
- 20:08Speaker 1: at Geotis Park on July ninth. Those are the tickets
- 20:11Speaker 1: you are playing for for Kevin Mano's Game of the Day,
- 20:13Speaker 1: presented by Genesis Diamonds on one oh seven five The River.
- 20:17Speaker 1: The name of the game is not Perfect Hair, Okay,
- 20:20Speaker 1: It's Pear Pressure Air Pressure.
- 20:23Speaker 3: It's all about pairs, pairings, duos. Josh and Bowling Green
- 20:27Speaker 3: is on the line. How you doing, Buddy good?
- 20:29Speaker 6: Thanks?
- 20:29Speaker 3: How about y'all good? I will say I feel like
- 20:32Speaker 3: people have been really crushing this game this week. It's
- 20:34Speaker 3: been easy for everybody, so I made today's slightly more difficult.
- 20:38Speaker 6: Oh ma, man, we should start tomorrow.
- 20:42Speaker 3: I still think you're gonna do just fine. You need
- 20:45Speaker 3: three out of five of them. I'm gonna give you
- 20:47Speaker 3: the first half of an iconic duo. You have to
- 20:49Speaker 3: fill in the blank. Are you ready?
- 20:52Speaker 6: Let's give it a job?
- 20:53Speaker 3: All right, Josh, Your game starts right now and again.
- 20:57Speaker 3: The game is called Pear Pressure. Singing Duo. Established in
- 21:03Speaker 3: the sixties. Simon and Blank, Our Fun nice a publishing house.
- 21:13Speaker 3: Simon and Blank, Oh my gosh, but you got it.
- 21:21Speaker 3: Simon and Schuster, a nineteen ninety four Snoop dogg Song
- 21:26Speaker 3: Jin and Hey yeah, John, you got your three out
- 21:31Speaker 3: of five? Do you want to rest your questions?
- 21:33Speaker 4: Is for extra credit?
- 21:34Speaker 3: Hey, let's go for it, Okay, roommates Bert and.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Ernie.
- 21:39Speaker 3: Yeah, and a long running TV show law.
- 21:42Speaker 4: And this a gimme order?
- 21:45Speaker 3: Nice?
- 21:46Speaker 1: Nice, You're gonna get it no matter what.
- 21:48Speaker 8: Josh awesome, awesome.
- 21:50Speaker 6: Thank you all so much that that second one was tough.
- 21:53Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, there was a little bit of difficulty in there.
- 21:55Speaker 3: I guess tomorrow. I don't even know how to make
- 21:57Speaker 3: this game hard. It's it's too easy. But you congratulations.
- 22:00Speaker 3: You're going to see Thomas Rhtt and Nile Horn.
- 22:02Speaker 8: Awesome.
- 22:03Speaker 6: Thank you all so much.
- 22:04Speaker 1: I'll have a great day, Yes you too. Hold on, okay,
- 22:06Speaker 1: I'm gonna get Trim.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Poe all right, Ricky, would you know this one a
- 22:10Speaker 3: detective show found on TNT Resoli and isn't it ile?
- 22:15Speaker 7: God?
- 22:16Speaker 3: I yeah? Isles?
- 22:17Speaker 4: No, Isles? I mean you were right there. So I
- 22:19Speaker 4: don't know how to make this game hard, but.
- 22:21Speaker 3: Be here tomorrow if you want to take it, same time,
- 22:23Speaker 3: same game. Three things you need to know, all right,
- 22:27Speaker 3: Just after eight o'clock, Ricky's got those three things? Presented
- 22:30Speaker 3: by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Grown Ups three is happening. Netflix has revealed that it's
- 22:35Speaker 1: in development right now. Actually, it's rumored that Adam Sandler,
- 22:39Speaker 1: Chris Rock, David Spade, Kevin James, and Rob Schneider could
- 22:43Speaker 1: all return. While that part is only rumors, we do
- 22:46Speaker 1: know that Adam Sandler will co write the movie. The
- 22:49Speaker 1: first two Grown Ups movies were major hits in the
- 22:52Speaker 1: box office. They earned a combined five hundred and eighteen
- 22:54Speaker 1: million dollars worldwide. Kind of nuts. I actually didn't know.
- 22:59Speaker 1: This is sounds so bad. I love Adam Sandler so much.
- 23:02Speaker 1: I didn't know that there wasn't already three of these. Oh, like,
- 23:06Speaker 1: it felt like there were so many of them already.
- 23:08Speaker 3: Yeah, No, I.
- 23:11Speaker 1: Didn't know that there wasn't three already. But we're getting
- 23:14Speaker 1: a third one. I'm gonna let you know when it's
- 23:15Speaker 1: available for you to stream on Netflix. Oracle is planning
- 23:19Speaker 1: to start their construction on their pedestrian bridge this August.
- 23:23Speaker 1: This bridge is gonna connect Germantown to their future East
- 23:26Speaker 1: Bay campus by linking Taylor Street near Newhoff to River
- 23:30Speaker 1: North Boulevard. So it's gonna link your right across the river,
- 23:32Speaker 1: a very easy way to get back and forth. It's
- 23:34Speaker 1: expected to take about two years to complete, And we
- 23:39Speaker 1: got to talk about the new cosmetic trends. Right now,
- 23:42Speaker 1: everyone's focused on their ears. Men in Russia are getting
- 23:45Speaker 1: cosmetic surgeries to give themselves cauliflower ear. If you don't
- 23:48Speaker 1: know what that is, it happens when you're a wrestler, Mma,
- 23:51Speaker 1: fighter box or something along those lines. It's cartilage and
- 23:55Speaker 1: blood vessels that break up in your ear. They pop out,
- 23:57Speaker 1: and then they harden there trying to get them to
- 24:01Speaker 1: look just like cauliflower ear because they think it makes
- 24:04Speaker 1: them look tough.
- 24:05Speaker 3: Sure, okay, that's weird.
- 24:06Speaker 1: I don't understand it. My fiance has cauliflower ear. It's
- 24:09Speaker 1: not nearly as big as some of these men do,
- 24:12Speaker 1: but like it's hard and it's it's like shaped, all funny.
- 24:17Speaker 3: Don't recommend it.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Hey, Jay, I love your ears, but I just don't
- 24:20Speaker 1: know why you would cosmetically get them done. It's just
- 24:23Speaker 1: very strange to me. But for women in South Korea,
- 24:26Speaker 1: surgeons have seen a surge of young women in their
- 24:29Speaker 1: office asking for elf ears. It's the k pop aesthetic.
- 24:33Speaker 1: They have the smaller face kind of look. It's a
- 24:36Speaker 1: prize trait for them. So enlarging your ears can create
- 24:40Speaker 1: the illusion of a smaller face, and people in Korea
- 24:44Speaker 1: are calling them elf ears latest cosmetic trends. Listen, whatever's
- 24:48Speaker 1: gonna make you happy?
- 24:49Speaker 4: Right sure?
- 24:50Speaker 1: No judgment here. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the
- 24:52Speaker 1: three things you need to know.
- 24:54Speaker 4: Thanks for being a part of our morning, Ricky.
- 24:56Speaker 5: Zach and Menno in the morning.
- 25:00Speaker 3: I do not have a cat, you do. I kind
- 25:02Speaker 3: of have a cat. Our cat, our neighbor's cat. His
- 25:05Speaker 3: name is mister Miaogi. He spends a lot of time
- 25:08Speaker 3: at our house. I brought this up yesterday because he
- 25:10Speaker 3: brought us a dead bird this week.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Because he loves you, because you are now his father. Apparently,
- 25:15Speaker 1: he said, Dad, I love you so much. Here's a
- 25:18Speaker 1: dead bird.
- 25:19Speaker 3: I'm not a cat person. I've never dealt with this before,
- 25:21Speaker 3: but that's a gift from mister I've come to realize. So,
- 25:25Speaker 3: if you are a cat owner, what strange gifts have
- 25:28Speaker 3: you received from these little monsters?
- 25:31Speaker 1: They have a very monsters. They have a very interesting
- 25:34Speaker 1: way of showing love and a lot of it is
- 25:36Speaker 1: like you know, they worry about taking care of you
- 25:40Speaker 1: and making sure you have enough food to be and
- 25:42Speaker 1: like that. You don't get eaten by birds or anything.
- 25:44Speaker 1: That's that's how they show love and affection.
- 25:47Speaker 3: We do occasionally hear stories of cats dragging dead things
- 25:50Speaker 3: into the house. So has that ever happened to you?
- 25:51Speaker 3: Six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine, one oh seven
- 25:55Speaker 3: Cat owners of Nashville, we need to hear from you.
- 25:58Speaker 3: We're typically dog people on this ship, but now it's
- 26:01Speaker 3: your turn.
- 26:01Speaker 1: Now cats. Cats are it?
- 26:03Speaker 4: Cat cat?
- 26:05Speaker 3: Let's go six.
- 26:08Speaker 5: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Kevin is now the new owner of a cat one
- 26:17Speaker 1: seven five the River. It's not really entirely true. His
- 26:20Speaker 1: neighbor's cat comes over to his house quite often. And
- 26:22Speaker 1: I think now the cat thinks that Kevin's his new
- 26:25Speaker 1: dad because the cat, mister Yogi, brought home a dead bird.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Ashley Clarksville, what is your cat brought home for you?
- 26:32Speaker 1: As a gift?
- 26:34Speaker 9: I have received a little bit of everything, lizards, moles, snakes,
- 26:40Speaker 9: whoa Who's sake?
- 26:42Speaker 3: Yes he is.
- 26:43Speaker 9: We we he gets lots of rewards for the things
- 26:46Speaker 9: that he brings. Besides when they're chopped up body parts.
- 26:50Speaker 3: Yeah, if he's bringing something dead under the house, you
- 26:53Speaker 3: reward him not not in the house.
- 26:55Speaker 9: But I know this is his nature, so he will
- 27:00Speaker 9: with him for he thinks.
- 27:01Speaker 6: He's bringing us a prize.
- 27:02Speaker 8: I don't wanted him a house, but he will bring.
- 27:04Speaker 6: It to the front step.
- 27:05Speaker 9: Welcome Matt, and he wants to to acknowledge it. But
- 27:09Speaker 9: he's a huge fat and he has brought home hen
- 27:12Speaker 9: squirrels because it's.
- 27:13Speaker 1: His way of saying, I love you, I'm protecting you,
- 27:15Speaker 1: I'm taking care of you. A mole is crazy, moles
- 27:19Speaker 1: are big.
- 27:20Speaker 6: Well, he's twenty pounds, so he's yeah.
- 27:22Speaker 3: He's a big boy.
- 27:24Speaker 1: That's a big boy.
- 27:25Speaker 5: Yeah, we call him.
- 27:26Speaker 9: He's not house panther because he's yeah, he's a he's
- 27:30Speaker 9: a large black cat.
- 27:32Speaker 1: Every I love it so much.
- 27:34Speaker 3: Maybe you should like to start to like magnetize some
- 27:36Speaker 3: of these things to the.
- 27:37Speaker 4: Fridge, like it's you know, a kid's artwork or something.
- 27:39Speaker 4: I think you'd be.
- 27:39Speaker 3: Proud of us.
- 27:40Speaker 9: Oh no, now I just make my son toss it
- 27:43Speaker 9: over the fans because I don't want to look at it.
- 27:45Speaker 1: You say, thank you so much, big boy, I love
- 27:47Speaker 1: you so much. And also we're gonna use right now.
- 27:50Speaker 6: Yes, good job, but gross.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Thank you for calling in Ashley, We appreciate you.
- 27:57Speaker 7: Yeah, thank you.
- 27:58Speaker 5: Have a good day, Ricky, Zach and man in the morning.
- 28:02Speaker 1: On the river.
- 28:04Speaker 3: My neighbor's cat has become my cat. Mister Mialgi keeps
- 28:07Speaker 3: coming into our house uninvited.
- 28:10Speaker 4: Well actually my kids let him in.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Yeah, but he's bringing.
- 28:14Speaker 4: Us He's bringing us dead things.
- 28:16Speaker 3: We had a dead bird.
- 28:17Speaker 4: Outside of the front step the other day. Kim, what
- 28:19Speaker 4: is your cat brought to your house?
- 28:21Speaker 8: Baby snakes are their favorite. I guess they're easy to catch,
- 28:25Speaker 8: rum can lizard. The vet told me when you bring
- 28:28Speaker 8: home cat food, they think you are hunting and gathering
- 28:32Speaker 8: food for them, and they are repaying the favor. I
- 28:35Speaker 8: did not know that. I've been a cat owner my
- 28:37Speaker 8: whole life, And they said, when you walk in the
- 28:39Speaker 8: door of cat food, they think you went out hunted
- 28:42Speaker 8: and gathered it for them.
- 28:44Speaker 7: So that.
- 28:45Speaker 8: I know, I had no idea. And the weirdest thing
- 28:48Speaker 8: Cass have ever brought me a barbecued steak and baked
- 28:53Speaker 8: chicken drum check from somebody, and I knew it was perfect.
- 28:59Speaker 8: It was a bacon bake. And when she came crotting
- 29:02Speaker 8: across the yard with it, I said, oh my god,
- 29:04Speaker 8: what have you got? Because I could see it was
- 29:07Speaker 8: untouched and.
- 29:08Speaker 1: She was so please.
- 29:10Speaker 8: And I live on five acres, My neighbors live on
- 29:12Speaker 8: ten twenty. Where did she get.
- 29:15Speaker 1: The hard to get you?
- 29:18Speaker 8: When I asked the closest neighbors, are you missing a
- 29:21Speaker 8: barbecue chicken drum stip? So I thought it was an animal.
- 29:25Speaker 8: So I was like the closer she got, I'm like,
- 29:27Speaker 8: oh no, oh no. And I'm like, that's that's a drunk.
- 29:31Speaker 3: You're making it sound good.
- 29:33Speaker 4: Did you eat it? You're like it was perfect?
