Trump Calls for the House to RELEASE the Epstein files, plus Republicans WON the Shutdown · The 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson

• 0:01
Speaker 1: Welcome in his verdict with Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you.
• 0:04
Speaker 1: It's so nice to have you with us, and Centator.
• 0:05
Speaker 1: We can start with some very interesting news. It seems
• 0:09
Speaker 1: like Democrats are playing checkers. Donald Trump is playing chess.
• 0:14
Speaker 1: He got them to go all in on Epstein everything.
• 0:17
Speaker 1: Now Trump's like, all right, fine, let's see it. No,
• 0:19
Speaker 1: by the way, I think we should be investigating a
• 0:21
Speaker 1: bunch of people that were hanging out with Jeffrey Epstein
• 0:23
Speaker 1: as well. I don't think Democrats had that on their
• 0:26
  Speaker 1: bingo cards.
• 0:28
Speaker 2: No, I don't think they did. Sunday night, President Trump
• 0:30
Speaker 2: called on the House of Representatives to vote for releasing
• 0:33
Speaker 2: all the Epstein files. This is a big deal. We're
• 0:36
Speaker 2: gonna break it down why he did it, and what
• 0:37
Speaker 2: it means. We'ress gonna talk about the polling numbers that
• 0:40
Speaker 2: have come down that showed decisively the Democrats lost the shutdown.
• 0:45
Speaker 2: It did not go well for them. The American people
• 0:48
Speaker 2: view it as the shutdown, the end of the shutdown
• 0:50
Speaker 2: as a major victory for President Trump and Republicans. We're
• 0:53
Speaker 2: gonna break that down as well. And finally, we're gonna
• 0:56
Speaker 2: talk about Michelle Obama did an amazing interview that week
• 1:01
Speaker 2: in which she was asked if she would run for president,
• 1:03
Speaker 2: and she basically said no, the American people are too
• 1:06
Speaker 2: much of bigots to an elective woman. That apparently is
• 1:09
Speaker 2: why Kamala Harris lost is because the voters are all
• 1:13
Speaker 2: secret misogynists. And Michelle Obama of why she will not
• 1:17
Speaker 2: grace us with her presence is the same. All of
• 1:20
Speaker 2: that we're going to get into in detail right now.
• 1:22
Speaker 3: Yeah, it's truly incredible.
• 1:24
Speaker 1: I want to tell you where the holidays coming, and
• 1:26
Speaker 1: many of you may be looking for charities that you
• 1:29
Speaker 1: can get involved in, especially to spend time with your kids,
• 1:32
Speaker 1: your grandkids and talk about how you can get back.
• 1:35
Speaker 1: There is an organization I want you to know about,
• 1:37
Speaker 1: and it's an amazing one, Compassion International. I want you
• 1:41
Speaker 1: to just pause what you're doing for the next sixty seconds,
• 1:44
Speaker 1: and I want you to imagine Lucy, a seven year old.
• 1:47
Speaker 1: Her stomach often aches with hunger, her small hands instead
• 1:51
Speaker 1: of holding crayons, now only the struggle of survival on
• 1:55
Speaker 1: dusty streets. School is a distant dream, medical care forgotten hope.
• 2:01
Speaker 1: Lucy's potential is overshadowed. Her future is dim, but what
• 2:05
Speaker 1: if someone stepped in. What if there was a way
• 2:07
Speaker 1: to ignite hope for children just like Lucy? Well there is,
• 2:11
Speaker 1: and that is with Compassion International Partners and the local
• 2:15
Speaker 1: churches that provide children holistic support more than just food.
• 2:20
Speaker 1: They receive critical medical care, life changing education, vital skills training,
• 2:26
Speaker 1: and spiritual development, all in Jesus's name, And you can
• 2:30
Speaker 1: empower a child just like Lucy to break free from poverty.
• 2:35
Speaker 1: I want you to do what I've done and sponsor
• 2:37
Speaker 1: a child today. You can visit Compassion dot com. That's
• 2:41
Speaker 1: Compassion dot com, all right. So, Senata, this has been
• 2:46
Speaker 1: a very interesting couple of weeks with the Epstein files.
• 2:49
Speaker 1: You probably dealt with it the same way I have.
• 2:52
Speaker 1: The media is like obsessed with it all of a
• 2:53
Speaker 1: sudden out of nowhere. They were they didn't give a
• 2:55
Speaker 1: damn about the victims for literally years and years and years,
• 2:58
Speaker 1: but now they think they hurt Donald Trump somehow with
• 3:01
Speaker 1: the Epstein files, so they're obsessed with it.
• 3:03
Speaker 3: And I said this to the night on CNN.
• 3:06
Speaker 1: I said, I genuinely wish that you guys, and I
• 3:09
Speaker 1: was referring to the liberals on the show, and the
• 3:11
Speaker 1: host cared about the victims of Jeffrey Everstein this much
• 3:15
  Speaker 1: years ago.
• 3:16
  Speaker 3: And they didn't.
• 3:18
Speaker 1: But this time it's only about trying to hurt Donald Trump. Now,
• 3:22
Speaker 1: Donald Trump seems to be playing chess in an amazing way, saying,
• 3:26
Speaker 1: all right, fine, hey, I'm in favor of doing it.
• 3:28
Speaker 3: Now, let's vote on it. Let's get it done.
• 3:30
Speaker 1: And not only that, I want to investigate people that
• 3:33
Speaker 1: were in around Epstein to see what may have been
• 3:36
Speaker 1: covered up, and that includes names like Bill Clinton.
• 3:39
Speaker 2: Well Sunday night, Donald Trump said out a lengthy truth
• 3:42
Speaker 2: on Truth's Social Here's what he said. He said quote
• 3:45
Speaker 2: as I said on Friday night aboard Air Force one
• 3:48
Speaker 2: to the fake news media House, Republicans should vote to
• 3:51
Speaker 2: release the Epstein files because we have nothing to hide
• 3:55
Speaker 2: and it's time to move on from this Democrat hoax
• 3:58
Speaker 2: perpetuated by the rat left lunatics in order to deflect
• 4:02
Speaker 2: from the great success of the Republican Party, including our
• 4:06
Speaker 2: recent victory on the Democrats shutdown. The Department of Justice
• 4:09
Speaker 2: has already turned over tens of thousands of pages to
• 4:12
Speaker 2: the public on Epstein and are looking at various Democrat operatives.
• 4:17
Speaker 2: Bill Clinton, Reid Hoffman, Larry Summers, etc. And their relationship
• 4:21
Speaker 2: to Epstein and the House Oversight Committee can have whatever
• 4:25
Speaker 2: they are legit and titled to. I don't care. I
• 4:28
Speaker 2: don't care as in all caps. All I do care
• 4:31
Speaker 2: about is that the Republicans get back on point, back
• 4:33
Speaker 2: on points in all caps, which is the economy affordability,
• 4:39
Speaker 2: where we are winning big, our victory on reducing inflation
• 4:43
Speaker 2: from the highest level in history to practically nothing, bringing
• 4:47
Speaker 2: down prices for the American people, delivering historic tax cuts,
• 4:51
Speaker 2: gaining trillions of dollars of investment into America a record
• 4:55
Speaker 2: in all caps, the rebuilding of our military, securing our border,
• 4:59
Speaker 2: deporting criminal illegal aliens, ending men and women's sports, stopping
• 5:03
Speaker 2: transgender for everyone, and so much more. Nobody cared about
• 5:07
Speaker 2: Jeffrey Epstein when he was alive, and if the Democrats
• 5:12
Speaker 2: had anything, they would have released it before our landslide
• 5:16
Speaker 2: election victory. I'm going to come back to that in
• 5:18
Speaker 2: a minute. Some quote members of the Republican Party are
• 5:23
Speaker 2: being used, and we can't let that happen. Let's start
• 5:27
Speaker 2: talking about the Republican Party's record setting achievements and not
• 5:32
Speaker 2: fall into the Epstein trap, which is actually a curse
• 5:36
Speaker 2: on the Democrats, not us make America great again. So
• 5:42
Speaker 2: that tweet went out Sunday night. I got to say,
• 5:44
  Speaker 2: it's breaking news, and I think it's a big deal.
• 5:47
Speaker 2: I fully expect the House we'll do exactly what President
• 5:50
Speaker 2: Trump urged them to do, which is vote to release
• 5:53
Speaker 2: the files, and hopefully the President is right that that
• 5:57
Speaker 2: will put the constant obsession about the Epstein files behind
• 6:03
Speaker 2: us for the media, because I understand the media is
• 6:05
Speaker 2: not upset and obsessed over the victims of Jeffrey Epstein.
• 6:10
Speaker 2: They're not obsessed over protecting the teenage girls who were
• 6:13
Speaker 2: sexually assaulted. They're obsessed over one thing, which is attacking
• 6:16
Speaker 2: Donald Trump. If it's not attacking Donald Trump, they have
• 6:20
Speaker 2: zero interest. By the way, the Democrats, if it's not
• 6:22
Speaker 2: attacking Donald Trump, they have zero interest. And one of
• 6:26
Speaker 2: the important things to understand, Jeffrey Epstein was a Democrat.
• 6:32
Speaker 2: Jeffrey Epstein was a major Democrat donor. Jeffrey Epstein was
• 6:37
Speaker 2: one of the major fob's friends of Bills a very
• 6:41
Speaker 2: close to Bill Clinton. Jeffrey Epstein was so close to
• 6:44
Speaker 2: Bill Clinton that in his New York home, he had
• 6:48
Speaker 2: hanging on the wall a painting a Bill Clinton in
• 6:54
Speaker 2: Monica Lewinsky's blue dress wearing red pumps. Now that is
• 6:58
Speaker 2: weird and freudian, and I'm very glad I was not
• 7:01
  Speaker 2: Jeffrey Epstein's shrink because I don't want to know what's
• 7:04
Speaker 2: going on inside of his mind that he's fantasizing about
• 7:07
Speaker 2: Bill Clinton in a blue dress with red pumps. But
• 7:12
Speaker 2: at the end of the day, this guy was a
• 7:14
Speaker 2: massive donor to Democrats, including Bill Clinton, including Chuck Schumer,
• 7:18
Speaker 2: including Nancy Pelosi, and the Democrats have engaged in one
• 7:22
Speaker 2: of the most incredible political ju jitsus that I think
• 7:26
Speaker 2: has ever happened, because they've tried to hang this scandal
• 7:31
Speaker 2: around Donald Trump's neck and what he said Sunday night
• 7:35
Speaker 2: is enough of this already. Vote to release the files.
• 7:38
Speaker 2: We're witting, we're winning every day, and this is about Democrats.
• 7:43
Speaker 2: We're not going to pretend it's about anything else.
• 7:45
Speaker 1: By the way, there was also another really big story
• 7:47
Speaker 1: that was connected to this the media did not want
• 7:49
Speaker 1: to cover either. It wasn't Republicans that Epstein was texting
• 7:54
Speaker 1: during apparently hearings on Capitol Hill. Epstein was texting House
• 7:59
Speaker 1: Democrats during the Michael Cohen hearing, uh and trying to
• 8:03
Speaker 1: give advice on how to hurt Donald Trump. That is
• 8:08
Speaker 1: like completely been admitted by the media. They are not
• 8:10
Speaker 1: going to cover the story that Epstein was literally texting
• 8:13
Speaker 1: trying to hurt Donald Trump, texting Democrats in real time
• 8:18
Speaker 1: like you're if you've ever watched Congress Center during a
• 8:21
Speaker 1: hearing and they look at their phone, Epstein's texting what
• 8:24
Speaker 1: you should be saying or doing.
• 8:25
Speaker 2: That's insane House Democrats while they're cross examining witnesses trying
• 8:30
Speaker 2: to attack Donald Trump. Jeffrey Epstein was like, Okay, ask
• 8:32
Speaker 2: this now, ask this, and and and and the Democrat
• 8:35
Speaker 2: congresswoman was doing that, and and and and this is
• 8:39
Speaker 2: that broke this week. And of course the corporate media
• 8:42
Speaker 2: doesn't want to cover it because their narrative is Epstein
• 8:45
Speaker 2: equals Donald Trump. At the end of the day, Epstein
• 8:48
Speaker 2: was a major Democrat donor. And I gotta say, the
• 8:52
Speaker 2: most important sentence in what Trump tweeted is is is
• 8:57
Speaker 2: the following. Nobody cared about Jeffrey Epstein when he was alive.
• 9:02
Speaker 2: And if the Democrats had anything, they would have released
• 9:08
Speaker 2: it before our landslide election victory. So understand all the
• 9:12
Speaker 2: Epstein files were in the possession of the Biden Department
• 9:15
Speaker 2: of Justice. Yep, they were in the possession of the
• 9:17
Speaker 2: Biden FBI. Now I know that the corporate media, their
• 9:22
Speaker 2: hearts are going pitter path. They want some incredibly damning
• 9:26
Speaker 2: evidence of Donald Trump committing a crime. They want video
• 9:29
Speaker 2: of Donald Trump committing a crime. They've been dreaming about
• 9:31
Speaker 2: that forever and ever and ever. And I just want
• 9:34
Speaker 2: to ask you. I want to ask you what Trump
• 9:35
Speaker 2: said if there were evidence of that, and the Biden
• 9:41
Speaker 2: Justice Department, the most politicized, politically weaponized department of Justice
• 9:45
Speaker 2: in the history of this country, had it, what are
• 9:48
Speaker 2: the chances that they would not have released it before
• 9:51
Speaker 2: election day last year? Yeah?
• 9:53
Speaker 1: Zero percent chance. I mean they of course they would
• 9:56
Speaker 1: have used it. They would have leaked at their masters
• 9:58
Speaker 1: at leaking. If there was anything they could come up
• 10:00
Speaker 1: with to hurt Trump, they will use it. Hell, they'll
• 10:02
Speaker 1: even make up stuff like the Stele dossier to try
• 10:05
Speaker 1: to hurt Trump. I mean, there's nothing they won't do
• 10:08
Speaker 1: to try to bring him down, including trying to connect
• 10:10
Speaker 1: the Epstein files now to Donald Trump, which there again
• 10:13
Speaker 1: this goes back their obsession. They don't care about the victims.
• 10:16
Speaker 1: They only care about hurting Donald Trump, orange man bat.
• 10:19
Speaker 2: Yeah, and look, I assume somewhere in the vast files
• 10:22
Speaker 2: there is something that is embarrassing to some Republican somewhere.
• 10:26
Speaker 2: I assume that sure, because there was clearly some hesitancy
• 10:31
Speaker 2: to release this information. They haven't done so. But everything
• 10:35
Speaker 2: we know about it is the overwhelming weight of the
• 10:38
Speaker 2: evidence is a bunch of corrupt Democrats who were on
• 10:41
Speaker 2: Jeffrey Epstein's plane on the Lalita Express, who went to
• 10:44
Speaker 2: his island, and who presumably participated in sexually assaulting underage girls.
• 10:50
Speaker 2: And I've said for a long time, release that all
• 10:53
Speaker 2: make it public. If anyone has sexually assaulted an underage girl,
• 10:57
Speaker 2: prosecute them. And so I think Donald Trump and the
• 11:02
Speaker 2: Trump White House said, all right, fine, if some Republican
• 11:05
Speaker 2: is embarrassed by some glancing reference, and I have no
• 11:07
Speaker 2: idea what it is, I haven't seen these files, so
• 11:10
Speaker 2: be it. But the bulk of the evidence, from everything
• 11:14
Speaker 2: we know, is going to be evidence that is a real,
• 11:18
Speaker 2: real problem for I suspect a significant number of Democrats.
• 11:22
Speaker 2: I'm glad the President did this. I'm hopeful the House
• 11:26
Speaker 2: can vote, we can put this behind it, and then
• 11:28
Speaker 2: we can have some real accountability to people who committed
• 11:32
Speaker 2: criminal acts and and hurt underage girls.
• 11:35
Speaker 1: When all this comes out, and if it does go
• 11:38
Speaker 1: the way that we believe it is, we're just gonna
• 11:40
Speaker 1: it's all gonna be there. What is the obligation then,
• 11:44
Speaker 1: and what can people expect will happen afterwards? From a
• 11:50
  Speaker 1: congressional oversight perspective.
• 11:53
Speaker 2: I don't know. I think you will see Congress engage
• 11:56
Speaker 2: in some oversight. You know, I've talked in this podcast
• 11:59
Speaker 2: before how Pambondi, the Attorney General, told me there were
• 12:03
Speaker 2: significant videos that they were in the process of reviewing
• 12:05
Speaker 2: to make sure they're protecting the victims. Obviously that's important,
• 12:08
Speaker 2: you want to protect the victims. There are also, as
• 12:11
Speaker 2: I understand it, limitations in terms of what can be
• 12:14
Speaker 2: released publicly based on orders from federal judges. My understanding
• 12:18
Speaker 2: again is those judges are all judges appointed by Democrat presidents,
• 12:23
Speaker 2: and so DOJ feels some constraints because of those judicial
• 12:26
Speaker 2: orders in terms of what they can release. I'd like
• 12:29
Speaker 2: it all to be public, make it all public, have
• 12:31
Speaker 2: there be accountability across the board, and I think the
• 12:34
Speaker 2: President's tweet Sunday night is a big step in that direction.
• 12:37
Speaker 1: I want to play with Donald Trump, I had to
• 12:39
Speaker 1: say before he got on the plane to return back
• 12:42
Speaker 1: to Washington, before this tweet was put out, and he
• 12:45
Speaker 1: got in the face of reporter who asked him a question,
• 12:48
Speaker 1: trying to again make this into some sort of ap
• 12:50
  Speaker 1: scene Trump connection.
• 12:52
Speaker 3: Take a listen to what he said.
• 12:53
Speaker 4: Fake news like you, you're a terrible reporter, and fake
• 12:57
Speaker 4: news like you. They just keep bringing that up to
• 12:59
Speaker 4: deflect from the tremendous success of the Trump administration. So
• 13:04
Speaker 4: a guy like Massy, his full numbers is showing, he said,
• 13:06
Speaker 4: six percent approval rating right now, and we call him
• 13:10
Speaker 4: Ran Paul Junior because he never votes for the Republican Party.
• 13:15
Speaker 4: So that using Jeffrey Epstein as a deflection from the
• 13:19
Speaker 4: tremendous success that we're having as a party.
• 13:23
Speaker 1: You know, I do think there's politics here. President Trump's
• 13:26
Speaker 1: figured that out, and he's like, they just bring this
• 13:29
Speaker 1: crap up whenever they want to start hitting me on
• 13:30
Speaker 1: something because they don't want to talk about something else.
• 13:33
Speaker 1: And that's why I think you so irritated. And it's
• 13:35
Speaker 1: also I think the reason why on the plane decided,
• 13:37
Speaker 1: all right, forget it. I'm all in on this one.
• 13:39
Speaker 2: Let's go well and listen. The substante point about his
• 13:43
Speaker 2: tweet is exactly right that we have seen major historic
• 13:46
Speaker 2: victories the past year. You look at illegal immigration. We
• 13:50
Speaker 2: went from the worst invasion of this country in history
• 13:53
Speaker 2: twelve million illegals by far the highest rate ever, to
• 13:57
Speaker 2: illegal border crossings dropping more than ninety nine percent. When's
• 14:00
Speaker 2: the last time the corporate media covered that. They don't
• 14:02
Speaker 2: cover that, the fact that this crisis that was endangering
• 14:06
Speaker 2: Americans across this country, President Trump has solved that. You
• 14:09
Speaker 2: look at the one big beautiful bill you and I
• 14:11
Speaker 2: have talked about before. There are more conservative victories in
• 14:14
Speaker 2: that one big beautiful bill than any legislation that has
• 14:17
Speaker 2: ever passed into law, including more than four trillion dollars
• 14:21
Speaker 2: in tax cuts, including no taxes on tips, no taxes
• 14:24
Speaker 2: on overtime, no taxes on Social Security, including the provision
• 14:27
Speaker 2: I authored, the largest federal school choice provision in history,
• 14:31
Speaker 2: that is going to help millions of kids across America
• 14:34
Speaker 2: get access to an excellent education, including the Trump accounts
• 14:38
Speaker 2: that is going to make every child in America an
• 14:41
Speaker 2: owner of the biggest companies in America. These are landmark victories,
• 14:46
Speaker 2: and I think the President is frustrated that not enough
• 14:49
Speaker 2: Republicans are talking about that, the media is not talking
• 14:52
Speaker 2: about that. And I think this is his efforts to say, look,
• 14:55
Speaker 2: let's focus on our real success as the president as
• 14:58
Speaker 2: a result of his leadership, where seeing trillions of dollars
• 15:01
Speaker 2: of new investments in the US economy, opening new factories.
• 15:05
Speaker 2: I'm talking to CEOs every week who are talking about
• 15:08
Speaker 2: making massive new investments in America, creating jobs. Then I
• 15:12
Speaker 2: think the President quite rightly says that's what we should
• 15:15
Speaker 2: be talking about, how we're making a difference in the
• 15:17
Speaker 2: lives of Americans, not the Democrats political game trying to
• 15:21
Speaker 2: blame this Democrat donor who was a pedophile, trying to
• 15:25
Speaker 2: blame him on Republicans. I think that's exactly right.
• 15:30
Speaker 1: By the way you go back to what the Republicans
• 15:33
Speaker 1: have done compared to what the Democrats have done. It's
• 15:35
Speaker 1: a great segue into some data that we now have,
• 15:38
Speaker 1: and it may explain why the Democrats, eight of them,
• 15:42
Speaker 1: decide to go along with the Republicans after the longest
• 15:45
Speaker 1: shut down in American history. It also, in theory if
• 15:49
Speaker 1: there is sanity in the Democratic Party could tell you
• 15:52
Speaker 1: a lot about what may or may not happen come
• 15:55
Speaker 1: January with another government shut down, and that is the Democrats.
• 16:00
Speaker 1: This isn't because I'm saying it. The polling is now
• 16:03
Speaker 1: saying it. Democrats lost on the issue of the government shutdown.
• 16:08
Speaker 1: Let's break those numbers down for everybody.
• 16:11
Speaker 2: Yeah, So, CBS News conducted a poll. Here's what CBS
• 16:15
Speaker 2: News tweeted. Quote. By a wide margin, Americans say it
• 16:19
Speaker 2: was Republicans and President Trump who succeeded in getting more
• 16:23
Speaker 2: of what they wanted from negotiations to end the shutdown.
• 16:26
Speaker 2: This survey recontacted americans first interviewed in our early November
• 16:30
Speaker 2: poll while the shutdown was in effect. And here's what
• 16:33
Speaker 2: CBS concluded ending the shutdown. Who got more of what
• 16:37
Speaker 2: they wanted? Trump and Republicans? What percent do you think
• 16:40
  Speaker 2: it has been?
• 16:41
  Speaker 3: What is it?
• 16:42
  Speaker 2: Fifty five percent?
• 16:45
  Speaker 3: There you go?
• 16:46
Speaker 2: How about Democrats? Do you think it's close?
• 16:49
Speaker 3: I'm going to go probably not six percent.
• 16:53
Speaker 2: Fifty say Trump and Republicans got more of what they wanted,
• 16:57
Speaker 2: six percent say Democrats did, fifteen percent say both equally,
• 17:01
Speaker 2: and twenty four percent say neither. So that's what CBS.
• 17:05
Speaker 2: CBS is hardly this right wing source, CBS is concluding
• 17:10
Speaker 2: the American people clearly see this as a loss for Democrats.
• 17:14
Speaker 2: And I want you to listen to Tim Kane. So
• 17:17
Speaker 2: Tim Kaine is, as you know, a Democrat senator from Virginia.
• 17:22
Speaker 2: Virginia has an awful lot of federal employees who went
• 17:26
Speaker 2: forty three days without being paid, without getting a paycheck,
• 17:30
Speaker 2: many of whom were frustrated, and Tim Kaine, by the way,
• 17:33
Speaker 2: voted for reopening the government. And so I want you
• 17:36
Speaker 2: to listen to Tim Kaine when he's being asked about
• 17:40
Speaker 2: AOC attacking Senate Democrats for being willing to open the
• 17:44
Speaker 2: government at all. Give a listen. The lesson that they're
• 17:47
Speaker 2: learning is that Democrats are met and that next.
• 17:50
Speaker 5: Time you just need to hurt working people and working
• 17:52
Speaker 5: Americans more to get them to fold. And I don't
• 17:55
Speaker 5: want them to learn that lesson.
• 17:57
Speaker 6: Senator, what do you say to that argument that Democrats'
• 18:00
  Speaker 6: projected weakness here?
• 18:02
Speaker 5: So twofold, I have three hundred and twenty thousand federal
• 18:05
Speaker 5: employees in Virginia, and together with their families, that's probably
• 18:09
Speaker 5: seven hundred thousand dependents getting them all back to work
• 18:13
Speaker 5: with two paychecks that they've missed, restored with protections against
• 18:17
Speaker 5: future firings. You know, some folks like AOC may think
• 18:21
Speaker 5: that's nothing. Virginians think it's an awful lot. And second,
• 18:26
Speaker 5: if the goal was to try to get healthcare front
• 18:29
Speaker 5: and center, she was not at the table with the
• 18:32
Speaker 5: Republicans in the Senate, and so maybe she thinks that
• 18:36
Speaker 5: the Republicans would have caved. Would it have been another
• 18:38
Speaker 5: week of SNAP recipients losing their SNAP benefits, another month
• 18:43
Speaker 5: of air traffic or air travelers enduring chaos and even danger,
• 18:48
Speaker 5: another two months of federal employees losing their paychecks. I
• 18:52
Speaker 5: was at the table with the Republican senators, and I
• 18:55
Speaker 5: knew if we wanted to get to the healthcare discussion,
• 18:58
Speaker 5: we had to open up government.
• 19:00
Speaker 3: I mean, this is a little bit of a civil war.
• 19:02
Speaker 1: I think you're witnessing on on live TV if you're
• 19:05
Speaker 1: watching Meet the Press, Tim Kay and Kan is exactly
• 19:08
Speaker 1: like the most like conservative guy in the world of
• 19:11
Speaker 1: the Democratic Party is pretty progressively liberal. AOC there, and look,
• 19:15
Speaker 1: I think this is gonna be the fight they're gonna
• 19:17
Speaker 1: have come January. Right, are the are they gonna be
• 19:20
Speaker 1: held hostage again by the AOC's the party or will
• 19:24
Speaker 1: the saying look at the poll numbers and say we
• 19:27
Speaker 1: can't do that again.
• 19:28
Speaker 3: It didn't work out for us.
• 19:30
Speaker 2: Yeah. And by the way, the Civil War is playing out.
• 19:32
Speaker 2: You know, Tim Kaine voted for reopening the government. The
• 19:35
Speaker 2: other Virginia Senator, Mark Warner, did not. Mark Warner voted
• 19:40
Speaker 2: to keep the government shut down. And by the way,
• 19:42
Speaker 2: you know which one of them is on the ballot
• 19:43
Speaker 2: in twenty twenty six.
• 19:45
Speaker 3: Which one is that Mark Warner.
• 19:48
Speaker 2: So every one of the federal government employees who didn't
• 19:52
Speaker 2: get paid, Mark Warner voted even on day forty three, no,
• 19:56
Speaker 2: we're not gonna pay you. And now, now look the
• 20:00
Speaker 2: Virginia gubernatorial election. You had Democrat turnout because they're hardcore
• 20:04
Speaker 2: partisans were mad, but the Virginia gubernatorial election was a
• 20:08
Speaker 2: not a terribly high turnout election. It's an interesting decision.
• 20:14
Speaker 2: Usually when you have two senators from the same party
• 20:17
Speaker 2: from the same state, they vote as a pair because
• 20:20
Speaker 2: they don't like to have a distinction. Mark Warner is
• 20:22
Speaker 2: not going to enjoy for the next year being asked,
• 20:25
Speaker 2: why didn't you vote with Tim Kaine to reopen the government.
• 20:28
Speaker 2: That is a problem for Mark Warner, and ultimately I assume, look,
• 20:34
Speaker 2: Mark Warner styles himself. He calls himself a moderate Democrat.
• 20:38
Speaker 2: Now he votes with Chuck Schumer virtually every single time.
• 20:43
Speaker 2: But Schumer himself has a fundamental problem. I mean, when
• 20:47
Speaker 2: you said Democrat civil war, that's not hyperbole. And it
• 20:52
Speaker 2: is the reason we had the Schumer shutdown, the largest
• 20:57
Speaker 2: longest government shutdown in American history, is because Schumer as
• 21:00
Speaker 2: a political crisis. His left wing wants to take him
• 21:04
Speaker 2: out and fire him, end his job. By the way,
• 21:06
Speaker 2: the second longest government shut down in history was the
• 21:09
Speaker 2: first Schumer shut down under the first Trump term. So
• 21:12
Speaker 2: Chuck Schumer has spots one and two in the record books.
• 21:15
Speaker 2: But even though Chuck Schumer threw this temper tantrum, shut
• 21:19
Speaker 2: the government down, didn't pay federal government employees, inflicted enormous
• 21:23
Speaker 2: pain on the American people, even though we did all
• 21:25
Speaker 2: of that to show his crazies, he hates Trump as
• 21:27
Speaker 2: much as they did. Even though on day forty three
• 21:30
Speaker 2: of the shutdown, Chuck Schumer still voted no, don't reopen
• 21:33
Speaker 2: the government. You know what, the radicals still want to
• 21:36
Speaker 2: throw him out. Of office. It wasn't enough. Take a listen
• 21:40
Speaker 2: to Tim Kaine being asked about whether Schumer should.
• 21:42
Speaker 6: Be fired the Democratic Party. More than a dozen House
• 21:46
Speaker 6: members are calling for Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer to
• 21:51
Speaker 6: step down, including my next guest, Congressman Roe Kanna, Senator.
• 21:55
Speaker 6: Given this, given that so many Democrats are calling for
• 21:59
Speaker 6: leadership to step aside, can he be an effective leader?
• 22:05
Speaker 5: Yes, Chuck has been an effective leader. Remember when Chuck
• 22:08
Speaker 5: was Majority leader during the Biden administration, he produced a
• 22:13
Speaker 5: string of legislative wins with a bare majority, nearly unparalleled
• 22:17
Speaker 5: in recent history. Infrastructure, the American Rescue Plan, the Inflation
• 22:21
Speaker 5: and Reduction Act, fixing the Electoral College, first gun safety
• 22:25
Speaker 5: bill in twenty five years, an important veterans legislation. Being
• 22:29
Speaker 5: a minority leader is tough in the Senate. We have
• 22:32
Speaker 5: some tools in minority, but not many. We don't control
• 22:35
Speaker 5: what's on the floor. And you know, if you're dealing
• 22:39
Speaker 5: with senators and Kristin you do. It's not exactly like
• 22:42
Speaker 5: senators just get in line and follow the leader. So
• 22:46
Speaker 5: I don't tell Rocanna or AOC or anybody else who
• 22:49
Speaker 5: you should pick as your House leader, because I got
• 22:51
  Speaker 5: a full time job being a senator. I don't need
• 22:53
Speaker 5: to freelance opinions about House leadership. They should focus on
• 22:57
Speaker 5: their own leadership and let senators do what we need
• 23:00
Speaker 5: to do to keep this country moving forward.
• 23:03
Speaker 1: I mean, saty, this is just a straight up problem
• 23:05
Speaker 1: for Democrats now right. They don't know who their leaders are,
• 23:09
Speaker 1: they don't know who they're standing behind, they don't know
• 23:11
Speaker 1: who they want to be in charge. And yet they
• 23:14
Speaker 1: just were able to shut down the government and claim
• 23:16
  Speaker 1: they were successful.
• 23:17
Speaker 3: And now that's even a backfire.
• 23:19
Speaker 2: Look, this is Democrat on democrat political warfare. This is
• 23:23
  Speaker 2: a civil war.
• 23:24
  Speaker 5: You know.
• 23:24
Speaker 2: It reminds me of the old quip that Ronald Reagan
• 23:26
Speaker 2: used to say, which is the problem with Republicans is
• 23:29
Speaker 2: the right hand doesn't know what the far right hand
• 23:31
Speaker 2: is doing. This is an instance where for Democrats, the
• 23:34
Speaker 2: left hand doesn't know what the far left hand is
• 23:36
Speaker 2: doing other than they are punching each other. They are
• 23:39
Speaker 2: fighting like crazy. And so it really is striking to
• 23:42
Speaker 2: see Tim Kaine going on a Sunday show and getting
• 23:45
Speaker 2: asked AOC says, you guys suck, and Rocanna says Chuck
• 23:48
Speaker 2: Schumer should be fired. What say you and he's like,
• 23:51
Speaker 2: they should butt out and let us be sentate Democrats
• 23:53
Speaker 2: because we're screwing things up so badly that we're really
• 23:56
  Speaker 2: good at it.
• 23:57
  Speaker 3: Yeah.
• 23:57
Speaker 1: And if you think that, by the way, that the
• 23:58
Speaker 1: only ones that are just can right now, you would
• 24:02
Speaker 1: be wrong. Let's move to Michelle Obama. She has come
• 24:05
Speaker 1: out and basically said, I will not grace you with
• 24:08
Speaker 1: my presence as a president of the United States America.
• 24:12
Speaker 1: You don't deserve me because there's too many massagists out
• 24:16
Speaker 1: there and I'm not gonna give you my candidacy.
• 24:20
Speaker 2: Yeah. She was asked whether or not she would run
• 24:23
Speaker 2: for president. Her response was, as we saw in this
• 24:26
Speaker 2: past election, sadly, we ain't ready. That's why I'm like,
• 24:31
Speaker 2: don't even look at me about running, because you all
• 24:34
Speaker 2: are lying. You're not ready for a woman. You are not.
• 24:38
Speaker 2: And she says, you know, we've got a lot of
• 24:40
Speaker 2: growing up to do, and there's still, sadly a lot
• 24:43
Speaker 2: of men who do not feel like they can be
• 24:45
Speaker 2: led by a woman. And we saw it what utter
• 24:47
Speaker 2: and complete nonsense by the way, Joe Biden was getting
• 24:51
Speaker 2: his ass kicked. Now, I understand the Democrats can't tell
• 24:54
Speaker 2: the difference between a man and a woman. So maybe Michelle.
• 24:56
Speaker 3: Obama, a woman, is right that thinks that.
• 24:58
Speaker 2: Joe Biden is a woman. But Trump was winning when
• 25:01
Speaker 2: Biden was the nominee. Trump was winning when Michelle Obama
• 25:04
Speaker 2: was the nominee. Trump was winning a because the Biden
• 25:07
Speaker 2: Harris Democrat agenda was a train wreck that hurt the
• 25:10
Speaker 2: American people, and b because the American people wanted President
• 25:13
Speaker 2: Trump back in the oval office. Here, I want you
• 25:16
Speaker 2: to give a listen to exactly what Michelle Obama said,
• 25:19
  Speaker 2: Give a listen.
• 25:20
Speaker 7: Do you think that that impacts the room that we've
• 25:22
Speaker 7: made for a woman to be president? Well, as we
• 25:26
Speaker 7: saw in this past election, sadly, we ain't ready. That's
• 25:31
Speaker 7: why I'm like, don't even look at me about running
• 25:34
Speaker 7: because you all are lying you're not ready for a woman.
• 25:37
Speaker 7: You are not, So don't waste my time. You know,
• 25:42
Speaker 7: we got a lot of growing up to do, and
• 25:44
Speaker 7: theyre's still I'm sadly a lot of men who do
• 25:47
Speaker 7: not feel like they can be led by a woman.
• 25:49
Speaker 7: And we saw it.
• 25:51
Speaker 3: What was the question I just said, m So we
• 25:58
Speaker 3: don't need to ask it again. Answer.
• 26:02
Speaker 1: I mean, you listen to that, and the room goes
• 26:04
Speaker 1: wild with women. It was clearly a female audience that
• 26:07
Speaker 1: she's talking with there.
• 26:08
  Speaker 2: It was also a feminine man. Don't don't, don't forget.
• 26:11
Speaker 3: Oh, that's true. We can't assume, I mean, this.
• 26:14
Speaker 2: Is this is the Democrat Party.
• 26:16
Speaker 1: Yes, we can't assume from the high pitchedness of the
• 26:19
Speaker 1: screams in the room that it was actually when it
• 26:20
Speaker 1: could women, it could be people that identify as a woman.
• 26:24
Speaker 3: That's true. Valid point. I apologize.
• 26:25
Speaker 2: When you have a male who's taking estrogen and like
• 26:29
Speaker 2: wearing a tight strap to like tuck in, they have
• 26:32
  Speaker 2: pretty high squeels.
• 26:34
Speaker 1: Well you know they jope during the holidays and shavit
• 26:36
Speaker 1: target get those tucking swimsuits for them, right, And half
• 26:39
Speaker 1: of them used to work at the White House anyway,
• 26:41
Speaker 1: so there's always that as well. When I heard that,
• 26:45
Speaker 1: When I heard that, I laughed because I thought it
• 26:47
  Speaker 1: was so funny. One, I don't think there's a bunch
• 26:50
Speaker 1: of people that are wanting her to run run right
• 26:52
Speaker 1: now for for president. Her best shout at it would
• 26:56
Speaker 1: have been a coronation like we had with with with
• 26:59
Speaker 1: Kamala Harris that obviously didn't happen. But she's like you basically,
• 27:02
Speaker 1: don't deserve me. That is the weirdest Jedi mind trick
• 27:06
Speaker 1: political thing I've ever seen.
• 27:08
Speaker 2: Well, look, it's just arrogance, and you're right, had she
• 27:11
Speaker 2: wanted to do it, they would have handed it to
• 27:14
Speaker 2: her instead of Kamala Harris and you and I talked
• 27:16
Speaker 2: about this a lot on this podcast. By the way,
• 27:18
Speaker 2: this podcast predicted more than a year before the Democrat
• 27:22
Speaker 2: Party pulled the rug out from under Joe Biden. We
• 27:25
Speaker 2: predicted on Verdict. Regular listens to Verdict. No, we regularly
• 27:29
Speaker 2: make predictions. We make predictions that frankly are risky, that
• 27:33
Speaker 2: are out there, and the overwhelming majority of the predictions
• 27:37
Speaker 2: we make on this podcast have come true. When you
• 27:40
Speaker 2: and I said a year before Joe Biden was yanked
• 27:43
Speaker 2: unceremoniously off the ticket, that Biden would be pulled off
• 27:46
Speaker 2: the ticket, you and I, and by that I mainly
• 27:51
Speaker 2: mean me. I was mocked mercilessly.
• 27:57
Speaker 3: Hold on, I agreed with you at the time. Give
• 27:59
Speaker 3: me a little no.
• 28:01
Speaker 2: No, you did agree with me, but they didn't make
• 28:03
Speaker 2: fun of you. The press went after me and says
• 28:07
Speaker 2: Cruise is a moon bat numbskull. I think they kind
• 28:10
Speaker 2: of bake into the cake that you're a moon bat numbskull.
• 28:13
Speaker 3: So I do host this show with you. So there's that, right, Yeah.
• 28:16
Speaker 2: Yeah, it's guilt by association. Sorry about that, but like
• 28:19
Speaker 2: literally the corporate media went crazy. They had episodes mocking me.
• 28:23
Speaker 2: What a crazy thing for Cruz to say, Biden's not
• 28:26
Speaker 2: going to be the nominee. Obviously, anyone with any sense
• 28:30
Speaker 2: at all knows he's going to be the nominee. Well,
• 28:33
Speaker 2: we were right, and if Michelle Obama had wanted it,
• 28:36
Speaker 2: she would have been the nominee last time. We predicted
• 28:38
Speaker 2: that as well. She didn't want it, but the dripping
• 28:41
Speaker 2: arrogance of her, you know, you listen to her comments.
• 28:44
Speaker 2: The American people have a lot of growing up to do. Yeah,
• 28:47
Speaker 2: like the absolute condescension. You people are too immature to
• 28:53
Speaker 2: elect my magnificence. Why not because my ideas are terrible,
• 28:58
Speaker 2: Not because the Democrat ideas are horrible and have resulted
• 29:02
Speaker 2: in open borders, have resulted in people being murdered and
• 29:05
Speaker 2: women being raped and children being assaulted. Not because we
• 29:08
Speaker 2: had rampant inflation, not because Joe Biden. The Democrats caused
• 29:12
Speaker 2: war all over the earth, turned peace and prosperity into
• 29:15
Speaker 2: a war in Ukraine and October seventh and a war
• 29:17
Speaker 2: in Gaza. You know, not because every single thing we
• 29:22
Speaker 2: touched turned to absolute garbage. No, no, no, no, That's not
• 29:26
Speaker 2: the reason Kamala Harris lost resoundingly. The reason, according to
• 29:30
Speaker 2: the leftist ideology, is you all are bigots and your
• 29:34
Speaker 2: racist and your sexist. And that's the only possible reason.
• 29:37
Speaker 2: And I got to say that contemptuous condescension is one
• 29:43
Speaker 2: of the worst characteristics of the Democrat Party today. But
• 29:47
Speaker 2: it also does indicate this is not a party that
• 29:51
Speaker 2: is reassessing. You know, normally, we lose an election, and
• 29:55
Speaker 2: you lose an election badly. At least some people with
• 29:59
Speaker 2: sense in the part to go, huh, wonder why the
• 30:02
Speaker 2: voters rejected what we said. Maybe we should change, you know,
• 30:04
Speaker 2: you think back to in nineteen eighty Reagan was elected.
• 30:08
Speaker 2: In eighty four, Reagan was re elected one forty nine
• 30:11
Speaker 2: out of fifty states, came within a few thousand votes
• 30:14
Speaker 2: of winning every single state in the Union. Reagan won California,
• 30:18
Speaker 2: New York, Illinois, Massachusetts, every state Minnesota. Nineteen eighty eight,
• 30:23
Speaker 2: George Herbert walker Bush was elected and after losing three
• 30:27
Speaker 2: consecutive presidential races. Democrats said, huh, maybe nominating Jimmy Carter
• 30:33
Speaker 2: and Walter Mondale and Michael Dukaucus was a bad idea.
• 30:36
Speaker 2: Maybe crazy left wing loons do not command a majority
• 30:41
Speaker 2: in American What did they do? They pivoted, They moved
• 30:43
Speaker 2: dramatically towards the center, and they nominated what was then
• 30:46
Speaker 2: a moderate to conservative Democrat, the governor of Arkansas named
• 30:50
Speaker 2: Bill Clinton. And Bill Clinton won two consecutive elections because
• 30:54
Speaker 2: they shifted. You know what, I don't see any Democrats
• 30:57
Speaker 2: doing that right now. I don't see them looking in
• 30:59
Speaker 2: saying why did we get clobbered? Why did did Trump
• 31:03
Speaker 2: win all seven of the swing states? I don't see
• 31:07
Speaker 2: Democrats saying that at all. And Michelle Obama saying, you
• 31:10
Speaker 2: people are a bunch of biggots in sexists and you
• 31:12
Speaker 2: just need to grow up. You know what I'm saying,
• 31:15
Speaker 2: Whoever the Democrat nominee is in twenty eight, please make
• 31:18
Speaker 2: Michelle Obama your spokesperson, because we really need her lecturing
• 31:22
Speaker 2: the American people how much the voter suck. Because you
• 31:26
Speaker 2: know that historically has proved such an effective way to campaign.
• 31:31
Speaker 1: Amen to that, don't forget we do this show Monday,
• 31:33
Speaker 1: Wednesday Friday. Hit that subscribe or auto download button so you
• 31:36
Speaker 1: do not miss an episode and makes you share it
• 31:39
Speaker 1: please on social media wherever you are. That would be
• 31:42
Speaker 1: greatly appreciated and we will see you back here on
• 31:45
  Speaker 1: Wednesday morning.
