0:28
Speaker 1: We've got a lot to talk about, including the Supreme
0:31
Speaker 1: Court on Wednesday, in a pretty significant ruling six to three.
0:35
Speaker 1: It made liberals heads explode. The Louisiana twenty twenty four
0:39
Speaker 1: congressional map, it was redrawn to create a second majority
0:44
Speaker 1: black district, constituted an illegal racial jerry mander. That is
0:49
Speaker 1: what they've decided. And of course the left is furious
0:51
Speaker 1: right now for this, saying that this is racism. Run
0:54
Speaker 1: them up. The Supreme Court's illegitimate. I guess we should
0:57
Speaker 1: now pack the court again as soon as they get
0:58
Speaker 1: back in power, right, because that's what they're pointing on
1:00
Speaker 1: doing anyway.
1:02
Speaker 2: Well, the Spring Court's decision this week outlawing racial gerrymandering
1:08
Speaker 2: was a landmark decision. It was incredibly important. For decades,
1:12
Speaker 2: there has been a practice of drawing congressional districts based
1:16
Speaker 2: on race, deliberately segregating people based on whether they're African
1:20
Speaker 2: American or white or Hispanic, and putting them into districts
1:24
Speaker 2: segregated based on race. The Constitution prohibits discrimination based on race,
1:29
Speaker 2: and the Supreme Court today, in a landmark decision, said
1:33
Speaker 2: this racial gerrymandering has to stop. As you noted, the
1:36
Speaker 2: Democrats are losing their mind over this because THEIRS is
1:39
Speaker 2: a party that is built on racial discrimination. And indeed,
1:44
Speaker 2: the fact that they are competitive, they are close to
1:47
Speaker 2: having a majority in the House of Representatives, is driven
1:52
Speaker 2: in a big part by their blatant jerrymandering, both political
1:55
Speaker 2: gerrymandering and racial gerry mannering. We're going to break down
1:58
Speaker 2: what that decision means, what precisely the Court held, and
2:02
Speaker 2: and why it was correct. We're also going to talk
2:05
Speaker 2: about an amazing thing that happened this week in Maine.
2:09
Speaker 2: Uh the incumbent Democrat governor of Maine, Janet Mills, was
2:12
Speaker 2: running for Senate and she dropped out. She dropped out
2:17
Speaker 2: because in today's Democrat Party she was not nearly crazy
2:22
Speaker 2: enough to win a primary. Instead, the Democrats want a
2:28
Speaker 2: self declared communist with a Nazi tattoo. That is now
2:33
Speaker 2: the beating heart of the Democrat Party. We're going to
2:36
Speaker 2: talk about that and what that means for the country.
2:38
Speaker 2: And finally we're going to talk about DEI programs run
2:41
Speaker 2: amock in homeless services and Portland, Oregon giving special priority
2:48
Speaker 2: if you happen to be LGBT if you have services,
2:55
Speaker 2: you know, if you're just some poor white schlub who's
2:58
Speaker 2: starving it out on the street, Nope, you rank last
3:03
Speaker 2: in the less hierarchy of who deserves care. We're going
3:07
Speaker 2: to give you the facts and bring the receipts on
3:09
Speaker 2: that one as well.
3:10
Speaker 1: It's like a PSA if your home was tell them
3:12
Speaker 1: you're the opposite sex of what you are, you'll get
3:14
Speaker 1: fed really well and gets some great benefits in the
3:17
Speaker 1: Liverpool cities.
3:18
Speaker 2: It's truly, ben How is that not a joke? Like
3:21
Speaker 2: what you just said there is actually accurate and it's
3:26
Speaker 2: so insane that a normal rational person listening to it
3:30
Speaker 2: must be saying that makes no sense. That's the reality
3:33
Speaker 2: we're living in.
3:34
Speaker 1: And we're going to break it down an amazing story
3:37
Speaker 1: when I also talk to you about an awesome company.
3:40
Speaker 1: And if you've got a cell phone, just listen to
3:43
Speaker 1: me for a minute, because you can have a big
3:45
Speaker 1: impact with every phone call you make, with every text
3:48
Speaker 1: message you send for conservative values that you believe in.
3:51
Speaker 1: And there's a company that got started over a decade
3:54
Speaker 1: ago called Patriot Mobile. America is entering the two hundred
3:58
Speaker 1: and fiftieth year and the direction of this country is
4:01
Speaker 1: being decided right now in our culture and our economy,
4:05
Speaker 1: and who we choose is support matters more than ever.
4:08
Speaker 1: Most wireless companies don't care who you are or what
4:12
Speaker 1: you believe. They just want your money. Patriot Mobile they're different.
4:16
Speaker 1: For more than twelve years, they've stood with Americans who
4:19
Speaker 1: believe freedom is worth defending, funding the Christian conservative movement
4:24
Speaker 1: when others stay silent. That's what they do. So here's
4:28
Speaker 1: the deal. You don't have to give up quality or
4:30
Speaker 1: service when you switch to Patriot Mobile. They deliver premium
4:34
Speaker 1: priority access on all three major US networks, so you'll
4:39
Speaker 1: get the same or better coverage than you have today.
4:43
Speaker 1: Think switching as a hassle, It isn't anymore.
4:45
Speaker 2: In twenty twenty six.
4:47
Speaker 1: You keep your number, keep your phone, or upgrade, and
4:50
Speaker 1: their one hundred percent US based support team can activate
4:53
Speaker 1: you in minutes, still paying off a device. Patriot Mobile
4:57
Speaker 1: even offers a contract buyout. This this is a defining year.
5:01
Speaker 1: We must work together to save our country. So go
5:05
Speaker 1: to Patriotmobile dot com slash verdict and you are going
5:09
Speaker 1: to get a free month of service with a promo
5:12
Speaker 1: code vertict. Or you can call them nine to seven
5:15
Speaker 1: to two Patriot. That's nine seven to two Patriot nine
5:21
Speaker 1: seven to two Patriot. Or call them and go online
5:24
Speaker 1: at Patriot Mobile dot com slash verdict promo code vertict
5:29
Speaker 1: for a free month of service. Make the switch and
5:31
Speaker 1: make a difference every time you pay your bill. All right,
5:34
Speaker 1: So let's get back to this Louisiana ruling. You've got
5:37
Speaker 1: a lot to say on this, and you broke it
5:40
Speaker 1: down a little bit in the intro there, But I
5:41
Speaker 1: want people to understand the core of this case, how
5:44
Speaker 1: it got all the way to Supreme Court. So can
5:46
Speaker 1: you kind of give it just a synopsis of what
5:48
Speaker 1: got us there so quickly.
5:50
Speaker 2: So I can, but let me step back for a minute,
5:52
Speaker 2: let me give a little broader context. So two decades ago, uh,
5:57
Speaker 2: in two thousand and three, I started as the Solicitor
6:00
Speaker 2: General of Texas, which is the chief lawyer for the
6:03
Speaker 2: state in front of the US Supreme Court. Two thousand
6:06
Speaker 2: and three was the first time Republicans had won a
6:08
Speaker 2: majority in the House of Representatives in decades, and so
6:11
Speaker 2: we now had a majority in both the House and
6:15
Speaker 2: the Senate. At the state legislature, and so Texas redistricted
6:19
Speaker 2: in two thousand and three. It was a mid decade
6:21
Speaker 2: redistricting at the time that had not been done very often.
6:25
Speaker 2: And they did it because Texas at the time in
6:28
Speaker 2: two thousand and three, Republicans were winning a significant majority
6:33
Speaker 2: of the statewide vote, and yet the congressional delegation was
6:38
Speaker 2: majority Democrat. It was the most egregious partisan de partisan
6:43
Speaker 2: gerrymander in the country. The Democrats had drawn it to
6:46
Speaker 2: elect Democrats even though the voters were voting for the
6:51
Speaker 2: opposite party, and so the state legislature came in redrew
6:55
Speaker 2: the map. The result of it was it elected five
6:57
Speaker 2: additional Republicans. But I was the lawyer who was charged
7:02
Speaker 2: with day one number one, with advising the legislature while
7:06
Speaker 2: they were drawing the map. Number two with defending the
7:09
Speaker 2: map in the federal District court when the Democrat playtiffs
7:13
Speaker 2: challenged it. And then number three I argued the case
7:16
Speaker 2: before the US Supreme Court defending the map and ended
7:19
Speaker 2: up winning a landmark five to four decision upholding that map.
7:24
Speaker 2: And so there was a good two years of my
7:27
Speaker 2: life when I lived in the world of redistricting. And
7:29
Speaker 2: I got to tell you, Ben, the case law at
7:32
Speaker 2: the time was so convoluted and internally contradictory that it
7:38
Speaker 2: made no sense. So on one hand, the Supreme Court
7:42
Speaker 2: had said for a long time the Fourth Amendment, the
7:44
Speaker 2: protection of equal protection under the Laws, and the Fifteenth Amendment,
7:48
Speaker 2: the protection that no one shall be denied the right
7:51
Speaker 2: to vote based on race, that that prohibited racial gerrymandering,
7:57
Speaker 2: drawing lines based on race. And the same time, the
8:01
Speaker 2: prevailing Supreme Court precedent was that the Voting Rights Act,
8:04
Speaker 2: a statute passed by Congress, essentially mandated redistricting based on race.
8:11
Speaker 2: So you had these two lines of cases that just
8:14
Speaker 2: made no sense because they contradicted each other. And I
8:17
Speaker 2: got to say, having been part of the process and
8:21
Speaker 2: at the time the legislature was drawing the lines, it
8:24
Speaker 2: was a very political process. And I was instructed on
8:27
Speaker 2: behalf of the AG's office that I'd come in and say, look,
8:30
Speaker 2: if you need legal advice, I'll give you my best
8:32
Speaker 2: legal advice. If you want to make a political determination,
8:36
Speaker 2: do you want to take out this congressman or that congressman.
8:40
Speaker 2: You're entitled to make that determination. You're an elected state legislator.
8:44
Speaker 2: I'm not so if you're going to engage in those
8:46
Speaker 2: political determinations, I'm gonna step outside, and when you need
8:49
Speaker 2: me for a legal opinion, I will give it to you.
8:51
Speaker 2: I will tell you, Ben, after going through that process,
8:54
Speaker 2: after going through the litigation, I wanted to take a
8:57
Speaker 2: shower because there was so much of the litigation that
9:01
Speaker 2: was explicitly racial in a way that normal civilized people
9:05
Speaker 2: they don't talk about the black seat, the Hispanic seat,
9:09
Speaker 2: the white seat, and yet it was all very explicitly
9:13
Speaker 2: rang about race. That's what the court turned around. We're
9:16
Speaker 2: gonna explain more in just a minute, all.
9:18
Speaker 1: Right, Senator So let's get back to it. You were
9:20
Speaker 1: mentioning a moment ago. You're in the room. You're seeing
9:23
Speaker 1: how the politics this worked in the past, where they
9:26
Speaker 1: were literally designing districts all over the country based on race.
9:31
Speaker 1: If it's a white district, a Black district, a Hispanic district,
9:34
Speaker 1: the list goes on on. And now the Supreme Court
9:36
Speaker 1: has made it pretty darn clear. Yeah, that way of
9:39
Speaker 1: doing business is not going to work anymore.
9:41
Speaker 2: But by the way, I'll give you a little history
9:43
Speaker 2: as to how sordid racial gerrymandering has been, particularly by Democrats.
9:49
Speaker 2: So when we were trying the Texas redistricting case in
9:52
Speaker 2: two thousand and three, we had testimony on the stand
9:55
Speaker 2: from Eddie Bernice Johnson. Eddie Bernice Johnson was an African
9:59
Speaker 2: American woman, a member of Congress from Dallas, and she
10:03
Speaker 2: had been a state Senator when the nineteen ninety one
10:07
Speaker 2: redistrictive map was drawn, which is what really put in
10:10
Speaker 2: place the egregious Democrat Jerrymander. And she testified about how
10:15
Speaker 2: Martin Frost, Martin Frost was a Democrat congressman from Texas,
10:20
Speaker 2: he'd really driven the Jerrymander and she said Democrats knew
10:25
Speaker 2: how to ensure that they elected white Democrats, which is
10:29
Speaker 2: they would draw a district where they would put just
10:33
Speaker 2: enough African Americans but not too many, and just enough
10:37
Speaker 2: Hispanics but not too many. And she said the reason
10:40
Speaker 2: is in a Democrat primary, if you had a black
10:44
Speaker 2: candidate run, the Hispanics and the white Democrats would all
10:48
Speaker 2: vote against the black candidate. If you had an Hispanic
10:51
Speaker 2: candidate one run, the African Americans and the Whites would
10:56
Speaker 2: all vote against the Hispanic candidate. And so Eddie Bernise
11:00
Speaker 2: Johnson testified that the Democrats knew how to put just
11:03
Speaker 2: enough that neither a black candidate nor an Hispanic candidate
11:07
Speaker 2: could win the primary. But then what would happen is
11:11
Speaker 2: when a white Democrat won, all the Democrats would come
11:16
Speaker 2: together and support the white candidate in the general, and
11:18
Speaker 2: the white candidate would win. So we had a system
11:22
Speaker 2: where in Texas a large majority of Texans were voting Republican,
11:28
Speaker 2: and yet we were electing a congressional delegation that was
11:31
Speaker 2: majority Democrat, and it was a bunch of white Democrats.
11:35
Speaker 2: And what the state legislature did in two thousand and
11:37
Speaker 2: three is they essentially obliterated the white Democrats. They ended
11:41
Speaker 2: that partisan jerrymander and that racial gerrymander, and it ended
11:46
Speaker 2: up electing a number of more Republicans. But that I
11:52
Speaker 2: hated litigating this kind of case because I don't like
11:55
Speaker 2: talking about the black seat, the white seat, the Hispanic seat.
11:58
Speaker 2: Look first, Hispanic senator from Texas. But I don't consider myself.
12:04
Speaker 2: I'm not a senator for Hispanics. I'm not a senator
12:07
Speaker 2: for whites. I'm not a senator for blacks. I'm a
12:09
Speaker 2: senator for Texans. I'm elected by thirty two million Texans.
12:13
Speaker 2: It's my job to represent everyone. And the left is
12:17
Speaker 2: so bean countery that what happened in Louisiana is you
12:21
Speaker 2: had a court decision that ordered Louisiana. They had one
12:26
Speaker 2: black Democrat seat in the Congressional delegation, and the court
12:29
Speaker 2: said it is mathematically possible to draw a second black
12:34
Speaker 2: Democrat seat. Now, the seat was ugly as can be.
12:38
Speaker 2: It ran diagonally the entire length of the state. It
12:41
Speaker 2: like reached out. You know, you look at the origin
12:45
Speaker 2: of the word gerrymander. You know the origin of the
12:47
Speaker 2: word gerrymander.
12:48
Speaker 1: Don't you ben give me give me the history.
12:51
Speaker 2: So it was Elbridge Jerry, who was one of the
12:55
Speaker 2: founding fathers, one of one of the the original framers
12:58
Speaker 2: of our country, who was a congressman at the beginning
13:03
Speaker 2: of the country. And he had a district that was
13:06
Speaker 2: so ugly it was drawn and it looked like a salamander.
13:10
Speaker 2: And so Jerrymander is a combination of his name, Jerry
13:14
Speaker 2: and salamander. And it's a long practice. But what the
13:18
Speaker 2: court had ordered, the lower court had ordered the state
13:21
Speaker 2: of Louisiana because it is mathematically possible to draw line
13:24
Speaker 2: where you just look for every black Democrat, you put
13:27
Speaker 2: them all in one district and they could win two
13:30
Speaker 2: congressional seats. If it's possible to do it, you must
13:34
Speaker 2: do it. That's what the court had ruled. That went
13:36
Speaker 2: up to the US Supreme Court, and the U. S
13:38
Speaker 2: Supreme Court overturned that. And the technical legal question they
13:42
Speaker 2: were analyzing is whether complying with Section two of the
13:48
Speaker 2: Voting Rights Act constitutes a compelling interest under the Constitution. Now,
13:53
Speaker 2: what does that mean? That sounds like gobbledygook. So the
13:56
Speaker 2: Supreme Court had long held that both the Fourteenth Amendment,
13:59
Speaker 2: the Equal Protection Clause, and the Fifteenth Amendment, the prohibition
14:03
Speaker 2: the protection of the right to vote based on race.
14:06
Speaker 2: That both of those made it illegal to draw lines
14:09
Speaker 2: based on race. And in order to overcome that prohibition,
14:13
Speaker 2: you had to clear what is called strict scrutiny. Strict
14:16
Speaker 2: scrutiny is a legal standard that takes a compelling government
14:22
Speaker 2: interest that is as narrowly tailored as possible. That's the
14:26
Speaker 2: only circumstance in which you can survive strict scrutiny. Well,
14:30
Speaker 2: the Court had never answered the question for thirty years
14:34
Speaker 2: whether complying with Section two of the Voting Rights Act
14:38
Speaker 2: constitutes a compelling state interest that lets you essentially ignore
14:44
Speaker 2: the Constitution's prohibition on racial discrimination and jerrymanner based on race.
14:50
Speaker 2: And the Court six' to, three a decision By Justice
14:52
Speaker 2: alito said, No, no a statute From. Congress, look The
14:57
Speaker 2: Voting Rights act was enacted to protect text people's rights to.
15:01
Speaker 2: Vote it was enacted to vindicate The. Constitution it wasn't
15:04
Speaker 2: enacted to direct legislatures you must discriminate based on. Race
15:11
Speaker 2: AND i got to, Say, ben the reaction Of democrats
15:14
Speaker 2: to this, decision it has been.
15:16
Speaker 1: Hysterical they are their minds they're basically saying that there's
15:20
Speaker 1: never going to be An African american ever elected office
15:22
Speaker 1: again In. Louisiana is what they've is how they're trying
15:24
Speaker 1: to play this right, now which is also.
15:26
Speaker 2: Absurd, well you, know it's interesting because the way The
15:28
Speaker 2: democrats are their view is the only way An African
15:32
Speaker 2: american Or hispanic can get elected is in a district
15:35
Speaker 2: that is drawn only to elect An hispanic Or African American.
15:39
Speaker 2: Democrat how about winning? Statewide, Look I'm, Hispanic i'm elected. Statewide.
15:44
Speaker 2: Uh Tim scott Is African, american he's A. Republican he's elected.
15:48
Speaker 2: Statewide but you know, what when you're elected, statewide you
15:51
Speaker 2: have to appeal to people more. Broadly when you're in
15:54
Speaker 2: an egregiously gerrymannered congressional, district you end up only appealing
15:59
Speaker 2: to the. Extreme that's how you get A Maxine, Waters
16:03
Speaker 2: that's how you get AN, Aoc that's how you get
16:05
Speaker 2: an Ilhan omar because their districts are drawn where the
16:09
Speaker 2: only voters they're listening to are the radical. Zealots the
16:13
Speaker 2: Ilhan omars is listening to The somali fraudsters because that's
16:17
Speaker 2: who elects. Her the result of this is states now
16:21
Speaker 2: will not be able to draw districts based on. Race
16:24
Speaker 2: they'll draw them based on political, issues based on, geography
16:27
Speaker 2: based on, history and you will end up hopefully having
16:30
Speaker 2: members Of congress that represent the citizens more.
16:33
Speaker 1: Fairly all, RIGHT i want to take a moment AND
16:35

18:37
Speaker 2: Party, well something really significant happened this, week which is
18:41
Speaker 2: in The democrat primary And. Maine Janet, mills the incumbent,
18:46
Speaker 2: governor A democrat was. Running, Now Janet mills had been
18:49
Speaker 2: recruited to run By Chuck. Schumer, yeah she had a
18:53
Speaker 2: ton of. Money she. Was schumer, said this is the
18:56
Speaker 2: best candidate for, we The, democrats to Beat Susan. Collins
19:00
Speaker 2: who's the Incumbent republican Senator Janet. Mills let's be, Clear
19:05
Speaker 2: Janet mills is not a. Moderate she's ad a back job.
19:09
Speaker 2: Lefty Look Janet, mills how did she get known? Nationally
19:12
Speaker 2: she got known nationally for fighting With Donald trump at
19:15
Speaker 2: a gathering of governor's where she, said damn, it In,
19:18
Speaker 2: maine we will fight to the death so that boys
19:21
Speaker 2: can compete in girls sports and men can compete against
19:24
Speaker 2: women in women's. Sports and that went.
19:26
Speaker 1: Viral by the, way it was like it was a
19:28
Speaker 1: shouting match in an awkward situation with the, president and
19:30
Speaker 1: that was like her.
19:31
Speaker 3: Moment.
19:32
Speaker 2: Yeah, so so she is is a hardcore left Wing
19:36
Speaker 2: democrat supported By Chuck, schumer The democrat, leader the incumbent,
19:41
Speaker 2: governor with a ton of. Money in a normal world
19:44
Speaker 2: that that's almost like designed in a, lab the best
19:47
Speaker 2: candidate The democrats could find beat an Incumbent republican.
19:50
Speaker 1: Senator, Yeah you've literally won. Statewide you could win statewide.
19:53
Speaker 2: Again this is not Hart well except for the fact
19:56
Speaker 2: That Bernie sanders and the wacko left wing The Democrat
20:00
Speaker 2: party recruited this guy Named Graham. Platner, Now Graham platner
20:04
Speaker 2: is being marketed as an oyster, farmer a blue collar. Guy,
20:09
Speaker 2: Yeah Graham plattner is a self described. Communist that's what
20:16
Speaker 2: he says he. Is, Yes Graham.
20:18
Speaker 1: Platner by the, way believe then when they tell you
20:20
Speaker 1: who they, are because that's exactly who this guy.
20:22
Speaker 2: Is Graham platner has A nazi tattoo on his. Chests
20:30
Speaker 2: he's a communist who is wearing A nazi. Tattoo he
20:35
Speaker 2: is also viciously. Misogynist he has attacked women and said
20:41
Speaker 2: said said when the if they get, raped it's it's women's.
20:43
Speaker 2: Fault that's who he. Is he was running Against Chuck schumer's,
20:49
Speaker 2: choice And Janet mills just dropped out because The Democrat.
20:52
Speaker 2: Party one of the most consequential things that has happened
20:56
Speaker 2: in the last few years is The Democrat party has
20:58
Speaker 2: become radicalized in dream and it NOW i think it's
21:02
Speaker 2: a very good, question can anyone win A democrat primary
21:05
Speaker 2: In maine who doesn't have A nazi, tattoo because that's
21:09
Speaker 2: the that's the standard they're. Holding AND i want you
21:11
Speaker 2: to listen. To this is an ad that THE, nrsc
21:15
Speaker 2: The National Republican Senatorial, committee put out in response to,
21:18
Speaker 2: this and it's simply someone Reading Graham Platner's reddit post
21:23
Speaker 2: he's posted On. Reddit i'm going to apologize.
21:26
Speaker 1: What read it is so people. Understand if maybe you're
21:28
Speaker 1: not familiar with, THAT i want you to understand.
21:30
Speaker 2: It it's this sort of online chat room that is,
21:34
Speaker 2: used and it's used often by a lot of people
21:36
Speaker 2: who are very. Fringe and so these are actual things
21:39
Speaker 2: That Graham platner has typed in And i'm going to
21:41
Speaker 2: apologize a number of these things are are are pretty.
21:44
Speaker 2: Graphic but this is what the now almost certain to
21:49
Speaker 2: Be democrat nominee For senate In. Maine this this, is
21:53
Speaker 2: in his own, words word for, word what he. Said
21:56
Speaker 2: give a, listen.
21:58
Speaker 3: And now for a dramatic greeting Of Graham Platner's reddit. Comments,
22:02
Speaker 3: holy how about people just take some responsibility for themselves
22:06
Speaker 3: and not get so fed up they wind up having
22:08
Speaker 3: sex with someone they don't mean to rape is a real.
22:11
Speaker 3: Thing if you're so worried about it to buy kevlar,
22:13
Speaker 3: underwear you think you might not get blacked out up
22:16
Speaker 3: around people you aren't comfortable. With why don't black people?
22:20
Speaker 3: TIP i work as a, bartender and it always amazes
22:23
Speaker 3: me how solid this stereotype is living in white Roll.
22:26
Speaker 3: America i'm afraid to tell you they actually. ARE i
22:30
Speaker 3: got older and became a, communist still got the, guns
22:33
Speaker 3: THOUGH i don't trust the fascists to act. POLITELY i
22:37
Speaker 3: did used to Love, america or at least the idea of.
22:40
Speaker 3: It these, Days i'm pretty disgusted by it. All feel
22:44
Speaker 3: free to back it up with. Facts fact this was the,
22:47
Speaker 3: gayest not in a fun sucking, way Thing i've ever.
22:51
Speaker 4: Seen this has been a dramatic reading Of Graham Platner's reddit.
22:56
Speaker 1: Comments, now now that is all. Real he wrote all
23:00
Speaker 1: of that and that word for word critic party saying.
23:03
Speaker 2: This and by the, Way Ben, ben that may be
23:07
Speaker 2: the most we've had to bleep out anything On verdicts
23:10
Speaker 2: since we've been doing the.
23:11
Speaker 1: Show that's, actually, yeah probably very.
23:13
Speaker 2: Accurate, Yes but like like every post we have to
23:16
Speaker 2: bleep out because it's filled with. Profanity he's attacking women
23:19
Speaker 2: who are victim victims of, rape he's Attacking African, americans
23:24
Speaker 2: he's attacking. Homosexuals but, understand there is a hierarchy in
23:27
Speaker 2: The Democrat party and at the top of the hierarchy
23:33
Speaker 2: Are islamists and. Communists and if you're An islamist and,
23:36
Speaker 2: communist then you can. Hate you, Know mondami has all
23:42
Speaker 2: these comments slamming, homosexuals but that's okay if you're An
23:45
Speaker 2: islamist and. Communist that is that that that is like
23:48
Speaker 2: the purest of the left. WING i want you to listen, then.
23:51
Speaker 1: For a party that likes to say That Donald trump
23:54
Speaker 1: Is Adolf, Hitler i'm pretty sure this is the only
23:57
Speaker 1: guy THAT i, know the turning provist right now on
23:59
Speaker 1: the crowd or The republican side that has A nazi.
24:02
Speaker 1: Tattoo just just want to.
24:03
Speaker 2: Cy to the best of my, knowledge no member of
24:06
Speaker 2: The senate has A nazi, tattoo And i'm not aware
24:08
Speaker 2: of any any candidate for senator who has A nazi.
24:11
Speaker 2: TATTOO i want you to listen To chris Van, holland
24:14
Speaker 2: who's an Incumbent democrat senator From, maryland defending His nazi
24:20
Speaker 2: tattoo and defending he is saying that women should quote
24:26
Speaker 2: act like an adult to avoid. Rape give a, listen
24:29
Speaker 2: this is an Incumbent democrat senator, saying, oh this is
24:31
Speaker 2: this is just fine with. Us the dude hasn't not
24:35
Speaker 2: had A nazi. TATTOO i, mean let's be clear about
24:37
Speaker 2: what's going on. HERE i, mean is that how do
24:39
Speaker 2: you view?
24:39
Speaker 4: THAT i mean it seems it seems to be at
24:42
Speaker 4: least somewhat disqualifying and traditional certainly. Historial, LOOK i, mean
24:47
Speaker 4: let's take a couple, issues including the comments he's made
24:50
Speaker 4: in the. PAST i, mean he's been very clear that
24:52
Speaker 4: he went into combat on behalf of The United, states
24:55
Speaker 4: he went through a really rough PERIOD ptsd type, period
25:01
Speaker 4: and he is himself said there are lots of things
25:03
Speaker 4: he's done and said that he completely. Regrets AND i
25:08
Speaker 4: do believe people should have second chances and that people
25:12
Speaker 4: can learn from their, mistakes AND i think he's been doing.
25:16
Speaker 3: That.
25:17
Speaker 1: SENATA i love there how they're like at the, beginning
25:19
Speaker 1: they're trying to be nice. ABOUT i, mean it used
25:21
Speaker 1: to be like a disqualifying thing in politics if you
25:25
Speaker 1: had A nazi tattoo used to be but not right.
25:28
Speaker 1: Now now it's up for. Grabs we'll flip a coin
25:30
Speaker 1: and see what, happens and then you have the. Center they're, going,
25:33
Speaker 1: well you, know you got to understand. Him he went
25:35
Speaker 1: through a, lot so therefore we're going to get him
25:37
Speaker 1: to get a jail free card because he went through a.
25:40
Speaker 1: Lot and you, know when you go through a, lot
25:42
Speaker 1: Of nazi tattoos are just one of the things you
25:44
Speaker 1: decide to put on your.
25:44
Speaker 2: Body, look The democrat defense of this is people make.
25:48
Speaker 2: Mistakes that was just a. Phase by the, way they're
25:52
Speaker 2: not defensive about him SAYING i am a communist like
25:56
Speaker 2: that that represents where The Democrat party. Is by the,
26:00
Speaker 2: way there's another image while he's on the campaign trail
26:03
Speaker 2: where he does what is a flat Out nazi. SALUTE i,
26:06
Speaker 2: mean arms straight up. Sighile you remember when the media
26:10
Speaker 2: went crazy When Elon musk was was at a stadium
26:14
Speaker 2: and head he beat his chest and waved and they, said,
26:17
Speaker 2: oh that's A nazi, salute and like every media, outlet
26:20
Speaker 2: what this guy, DID i don't know how to describe
26:24
Speaker 2: it other than he held his arm up in a folder.
26:28
Speaker 1: Would have been. Proud that's the best way to put, it.
26:30
Speaker 2: And of Course Elizabeth warren was campaigning with him, saying
26:33
Speaker 2: this is my kind of. Guy, understand this is no
26:38
Speaker 2: longer fringe in The Democrat. Party someone who says they're a,
26:41
Speaker 2: communists someone who says women effectively deserve to be, raped
26:45
Speaker 2: someone who who wears A nazi tattoo and doesn't apologize for,
26:50
Speaker 2: it that is now an unbeatable candidate and A democrat,
26:55
Speaker 2: primary the Incumbent democrat, governor with the support Of Chuck,
27:00
Speaker 2: schumer could not win and had to drop. Out and
27:04
Speaker 2: that's a dangerous dynamic that these people are no longer
27:07
Speaker 2: fringe in The Democrat. Party And i'm not saying Every
27:12
Speaker 2: democrat agrees with, him BUT i don't know a Single
27:16
Speaker 2: democrat other Than John. Fetterman and again we keep Saying
27:19
Speaker 2: John fetterman is the exception that proves the. Rule other
27:23
Speaker 2: Than John fetterman THAT i don't know a Single democrat has,
27:26
Speaker 2: said you, know maybe he shouldn't have gotten A Nazi nazi,
27:30
Speaker 2: tattoo like just they won't do that because all they
27:35
Speaker 2: care about is power and the, money the. Energy the,
27:42
Speaker 2: volunteers the activists in The Democrat party are all on
27:47
Speaker 2: the extreme, left and so every one of them is
27:49
Speaker 2: captive to. Them AND i gotta say that's not healthy For.
27:53
Speaker 2: America BEN i. WORRY i would like to see two
27:58
Speaker 2: functioning rational parties in our, Country, America america better when over,
28:05
Speaker 2: now when you Have democrats that are not so far
28:10
Speaker 2: left wing as to be like on the utter, fringes
28:14
Speaker 2: and yet that's where they've, gone and and AND i
28:16
Speaker 2: don't see anyone in The Democrat party trying to pull them,
28:18
Speaker 2: back and and and and that's ultimately that's very bad
28:22
Speaker 2: because these, people they're getting, elected and they're driving The
28:25
Speaker 2: Democrat party further further and further into crazy.
28:28
Speaker 1: TOWN i want to take a quick moment and talk
28:30
Speaker 1: to you about an incredible organization and it is Called Compassion,
28:34
Speaker 1: international and how you can get. INVOLVED i want to
28:38
Speaker 1: be honest with you for a second about how an
28:41
Speaker 1: act of compassion really. FEELS a couple of years, AGO
28:44
Speaker 1: i made the choice to partner with an amazing organization
28:48
Speaker 1: Called Compassion. International why BECAUSE i wanted to sponsor a
28:52
Speaker 1: child in. Need it was a nice, idea, sure BUT
28:56
Speaker 1: i had no idea just how much that simple act
28:59
Speaker 1: would change my life as. WELL i Sponsored nadia and
29:03
Speaker 1: got to watch your life change right in front of my,
29:06
Speaker 1: eyes going from starving literally alone on the, streets to
29:10
Speaker 1: getting the healthcare and education she needs to reach Her
29:14
Speaker 1: god given full. POTENTIAL i got to be a part
29:18
Speaker 1: of that, change and the light of that compassion not
29:21
Speaker 1: only illuminates in, her it illuminates now in. Me that
29:25
Speaker 1: is the power of. Compassion the light Of christ shines
29:29
Speaker 1: on all of. Us feel it for yourself and change
29:33
Speaker 1: literally a child's, life change the, world and you also change.
29:37
Speaker 1: Yourself you can sponsor child. Today visit compassion dot. Com
29:43
Speaker 1: that's compassion dot. Com, senator this might be one of
29:47
Speaker 1: the most entertaining stories That i've seen in a long.
29:50
Speaker 1: Time if you want to know how bigoted The Democratic party,
29:54
Speaker 1: is look no further than how they treat homeless. People
29:59
Speaker 1: They you've got a scoring. Mechanism now you get bonus
30:03
Speaker 1: points for certain things while being homeless In, america and
30:08
Speaker 1: then you get services aka rewarded based on your race
30:13
Speaker 1: and your sexual. Identity, now this is Like english is
30:17
Speaker 1: a second, language gets you two, Points so just think
30:20
Speaker 1: of that as a. Jumper if you're, pregnant that's a three.
30:23
Speaker 1: Pointer we give you more points if you're pregnant if
30:27
Speaker 1: you're a child under, five you get three. Points if
30:29
Speaker 1: you're a child under, eighteen you only get one. Point,
30:32
Speaker 1: so in other, words and if you're head of household
30:34
Speaker 1: and you're under, eighteen we give you bonus points two
30:36
Speaker 1: points for. That there's an actual quota list of points
30:40
Speaker 1: you receive depending on how you describe. Yourself and if
30:43
Speaker 1: you say that you know you're gay or lesbian or,
30:46
Speaker 1: transmitter that's bonus points as.
30:48
Speaker 2: Well so, look we talked a minute ago about the
30:52
Speaker 2: hierarchy of victim groups in The Democrat. Party it's a
30:56
Speaker 2: notion that's called. Intersectionality and in The Democrat, party BEING
31:03
Speaker 2: lgbt or being a racial minority is more privileged than
31:08
Speaker 2: simply being poor and being. Homeless and let's. Talk we're
31:12
Speaker 2: going to talk About, Portland, oregon Because, Portland oregon is
31:15
Speaker 2: almost like a deranged faculty lounge experiment gone. Awry i'm
31:22
Speaker 2: going to read from an article in Pro. Publica to be,
31:24
Speaker 2: clear Pro publica is not a right wing. Outlet it
31:27
Speaker 2: is a left wing. Outlet but here's what they. Described.
31:30
Speaker 2: Quote as the city Of, Portland oregon clawed its way
31:33
Speaker 2: out of the, pandemic it faced a new set of,
31:35
Speaker 2: Crises the city's homeless population was growing tense lined some city.
31:41
Speaker 2: Blocks high powered business associations held press conferences demanding the
31:46
Speaker 2: city remove homeless people and touted self funded survey saying
31:50
Speaker 2: that without, action businesses and residents would flee the. City
31:54
Speaker 2: by late spring twenty twenty, one the city committed to
31:57
Speaker 2: a new strategy that Then mayor Head wheeler said would
32:01
Speaker 2: quote reprioritize public health and safety among Homeless, portlanders ultimately
32:08
Speaker 2: allocating one point three billion dollars by the end of
32:14
Speaker 2: twenty twenty. Four, now let's see what the results. Were
32:20
Speaker 2: although the city spent roughly two hundred thousand dollars per homeless.
32:26
Speaker 2: Resident now let's stop and think two hundred grand per homeless.
32:29
Speaker 2: Resident you could house them and feed. Them two hundred
32:32
Speaker 2: grand is a lot of. Money that's what they. Spent
32:34
Speaker 2: what do you think it. Did what do you think
32:38
Speaker 2: massively spending and saying we're prioritizing the safety of homeless,
32:41
Speaker 2: people what do you think it.
32:42
Speaker 1: Produced i'm going to guess close to, nothing because it's
32:45
Speaker 1: a government program and liberals are in.
32:47
Speaker 2: Charge, sorry, call you're not cynical. Enough nothing would be.
32:52
Speaker 2: Better close to nothing would be, Better the death rate
32:56
Speaker 2: among homeless people In portland, quadrupled went up four hundred.
33:03
Speaker 2: Percent the death rate went up from one hundred and
33:07
Speaker 2: thirteen and twenty nineteen to more than four hundred and
33:12
Speaker 2: fifty in twenty twenty. Three so when liberals say we
33:17
Speaker 2: are going to focus on the, homeless if you're, homeless
33:22
Speaker 2: god help, you because at at least In, portland what
33:27
Speaker 2: that meant was the death rate. Quadrupled, now they also
33:30
Speaker 2: put in, place as you, reference an elaborate point.
33:34
Speaker 1: SYSTEM i, mean and this is not a, joke like
33:37
Speaker 1: it's literally and they even tell you, like, hey you
33:39
Speaker 1: can't get double points if you get points in one
33:42
Speaker 1: category compared to another. Category so if you're pregnant nunder,
33:45
Speaker 1: eighteen that's bonus, points but only if you haven't already
33:48
Speaker 1: gotten points for being pregnant on another another piece of,
33:51
Speaker 1: paper for another pointing. System it's just it's unbelievable how
33:55
Speaker 1: well organized it.
33:56
Speaker 2: Is so, look And i'll, say actually pregnant makes some.
33:59
Speaker 2: Sense prioritizing pregnant women that has a reasonable basis you
34:04
Speaker 2: are more. Vulnerable But english is a second language that
34:08
Speaker 2: was worth two points head of a household under. Eighteen
34:14
Speaker 2: that was worth two. Points interest IN lgbtq services that
34:19
Speaker 2: was worth one. Point.
34:22
Speaker 1: Interest so it just makes you, SAY i Think i've
34:25
Speaker 1: thought about being gay or transittered or, lesbian and then
34:28
Speaker 1: you get one bonus.
34:29
Speaker 2: Point so total disabilities impacting entire household ability to secure.
34:35
Speaker 2: HOUSING i don't even know what that, means but it's
34:37
Speaker 2: worth three. Points, yeah there you. Go interest in culturally
34:43
Speaker 2: specific services that's two. Points, AGAIN i don't.
34:46
Speaker 1: Know by the WAY i mean comparing, That just so
34:48
Speaker 1: you understand how woke this. Is if you are over
34:52
Speaker 1: the age of fifty five fifty five, plus which is
34:55
Speaker 1: a higher vulnerable, CATEGORY i think we can all agree on.
34:57
Speaker 1: That for homelessness you get two point. Points for, that
35:01
Speaker 1: you get the same number of. Points if you're interested
35:03
Speaker 1: in culturally specific. Services you can just catch up to
35:07
Speaker 1: somebody that's fifty, five, sixty seventy, eight eighty, five ninety years.
35:11
Speaker 2: Old, yeah and also worth two points is being a
35:16
Speaker 2: domestic violence. Survivor, now now that actually is rational and
35:20
Speaker 2: makes sense that you would prioritize domestic violence. Survivors but
35:24
Speaker 2: in The portland, world interest in a culturally specific service
35:29
Speaker 2: is equally prioritized to being a domestic violence server. Survivor,
35:34
Speaker 2: now how about, this what do you think being poor
35:41
Speaker 2: is like having let's say something crazy zero, Income like
35:46
Speaker 2: if you're trying to help homeless people having zero, income.
35:50
Speaker 1: You would think that would be one of the top
35:52
Speaker 1: scoring things on a sheet because that would get, you
35:54
Speaker 1: obviously to be. Homeless so you would think like that
35:58
Speaker 1: would be worth, something, right guess it's not one.
36:00
Speaker 2: Point one point one Point and if.
36:02
Speaker 1: You're homeless for a year or more you only get one.
36:05
Speaker 1: Point but if you are currently, homeless this is what's.
36:08
Speaker 1: Weird currently homeless gets you two. Points wouldn't that also
36:13
Speaker 1: mean you get one point for being homeless for like
36:16
Speaker 1: twelve months or more or no. INCOME i don't. Know
36:19
Speaker 1: i'd like this IS dei on a whole nother level of.
36:22
Speaker 2: Stupid, look here's what they said they've done So Maltnomah, County,
36:29
Speaker 2: oregon which is home of deep Blue, portland where deaths
36:33
Speaker 2: of homeless people quadrupled between twenty nineteen and twenty twenty.
36:36
Speaker 2: Three the county screening tool For housing services is designed
36:40
Speaker 2: and this is a quote from the county to quote
36:43
Speaker 2: PRIORITIZE bipoc, households LGBTQ ia two s plus, yep and
36:53
Speaker 2: people with. Disabilities, yes again this is not there's ending
37:00
Speaker 2: two hundred grand per homeless. Person with two hundred.
37:03
Speaker 1: Grand you can buy somebody a.
