- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello, gorgeous, it's La La Kent. Welcome to Untraditionally Lala. Hey, babes,
- 0:08Speaker 1: it's all I can't Welcome to the bonus episode of
- 0:10Speaker 1: Untraditionally Lala Tet. How we feeling, buddy, How we feeling
- 0:15Speaker 1: on this Monday? Buddy? Can I tell you? I have
- 0:20Speaker 1: been doing this thing when I have anxiety where I no,
- 0:24Speaker 1: I like, get into my chest and do like a
- 0:27Speaker 1: Tarzan and all of the sudden I can breathe. I
- 0:29Speaker 1: haven't had debilitating anxiety. I did it in front of
- 0:34Speaker 1: Calvin for the first time. I didn't even care he was.
- 0:38Speaker 2: He told you, he said, you gotta just scream yeah,
- 0:41Speaker 2: and you did.
- 0:41Speaker 1: I did, Yeah. I did really well at it. You're
- 0:44Speaker 1: continuing that today's the first day that I haven't really
- 0:48Speaker 1: needed to do it, But to say that I haven't
- 0:51Speaker 1: been in the car doing it. Do you hum? Only
- 0:54Speaker 1: when I get injections, I go, I go whole bunch.
- 1:02Speaker 2: I hum sometimes to so so when she's laying on
- 1:05Speaker 2: my chest, she loves it.
- 1:07Speaker 1: I think that just the the uncertainty of life has
- 1:12Speaker 1: gotten to me, which I've talked about this before, and
- 1:15Speaker 1: you know this that it doesn't happen often, but there
- 1:18Speaker 1: are times where I'm like, we're feeling a bit stagnant,
- 1:22Speaker 1: and I start to panic. This round of things, the
- 1:27Speaker 1: amount of anxiety that I've had. I haven't had this
- 1:32Speaker 1: level since my custody battle, where it's just like I
- 1:35Speaker 1: dread the night because I'm a left with I'm left
- 1:38Speaker 1: with my thoughts. But I'm I'm snapping out of it,
- 1:41Speaker 1: and I attribute it to the Tarzan screaming. Yeah, just
- 1:44Speaker 1: get it out, baby.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Sometimes you gotta scream into a pillow.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Yeah. I'm excited for this bonus because it's along the lines.
- 1:52Speaker 1: The other day, Ocean told me that I was allowed
- 1:55Speaker 1: to have a boyfriend because she has four boyfriends at school.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Dislike all of that. I was like, I don't love
- 2:03Speaker 1: the d We're.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Gonna pretend that they're just well they are, they are
- 2:06Speaker 2: just friends that are boys.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Well, then I asked her. I was like, what do
- 2:09Speaker 1: you mean you have four boyfriends? And she was like, yeah,
- 2:12Speaker 1: like this one, this one, this one, and this one,
- 2:14Speaker 1: and I go okay, and so like they know about
- 2:17Speaker 1: each other and she goes, well, yeah, mom, because we're
- 2:19Speaker 1: all friends. They're my boyfriends and I'm their girlfriend. I
- 2:23Speaker 1: was like, oh, like a friend that's a boy and
- 2:25Speaker 1: she was like, yeah, Mom, what else. I'm like, oh, okay, yes, sorry,
- 2:31Speaker 1: we like this age. Yes. I was just so thrilled
- 2:33Speaker 1: that my daughter finally told me I can have a boyfriend,
- 2:35Speaker 1: because for so long she's been like, you can't have
- 2:38Speaker 1: a boyfriend. That means I won't be able to sleep
- 2:40Speaker 1: in your bed. What does that mean for me? Once
- 2:42Speaker 1: she like gave me the approval, I was like, oh,
- 2:44Speaker 1: I like this. That's because now she is sleeping in
- 2:49Speaker 1: her own bed now. She told me that for the
- 2:51Speaker 1: past hold on now, oh for the weekend. I know,
- 2:57Speaker 1: I let her sleep in my bed. She's been crushing
- 2:59Speaker 1: it in her own bed, get herself in, tucked in whatever.
- 3:02Speaker 1: I let her sleep with me this past weekend. Oh
- 3:06Speaker 1: and now Amber is back in town, you guys, So
- 3:08Speaker 1: now she's using to this. She's like, why is Amber
- 3:11Speaker 1: here again? And I was like, you love her. She
- 3:13Speaker 1: just I don't like it at night because I'm supposed
- 3:17Speaker 1: to be sleeping with you. I said, during the week
- 3:19Speaker 1: you have to sleep in your own bed weekends like
- 3:23Speaker 1: party on, she'll come.
- 3:24Speaker 2: When I see her, she goes, guess what t T
- 3:27Speaker 2: I slept in my own bed.
- 3:29Speaker 1: She's very proud of it. Do you make a big deal,
- 3:32Speaker 1: of course, but she said that on Sunday. Yeah, so
- 3:35Speaker 1: she fibbed me. We have to make a big deal
- 3:38Speaker 1: when she tells us cool things. Shame with Sosa is
- 3:42Speaker 1: really into the big deal right now. Yeah, we have
- 3:44Speaker 1: to make a big deal for everything. Yeah, she's really
- 3:48Speaker 1: funny right now. Anyway, Nick Cannon allows his fifteen year
- 3:51Speaker 1: old son to date, but teen daughter is banned. So
- 3:55Speaker 1: I'm a little confused by this, but also not I
- 3:58Speaker 1: think I may have an unpopular opinion. And Nick Cannon
- 4:01Speaker 1: revealed he's okay with his son dating at fifteen years old,
- 4:04Speaker 1: but his twin sister isn't getting the same treatment. There
- 4:07Speaker 1: is a difference when parenting a son and when parenting
- 4:10Speaker 1: a daughter. I am more protective of my daughter. I
- 4:13Speaker 1: one hundred percent agree with him. And I say this
- 4:16Speaker 1: because yes, his son can date.
- 4:19Speaker 3: You.
- 4:20Speaker 1: I think you can control your.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Son's actions and behaviors, like Nick Cannon saying, do not
- 4:27Speaker 2: put a woman in this position. You can't tell your
- 4:30Speaker 2: girl like if you're put like who knows, but you
- 4:33Speaker 2: can you know, you can kind of make a roadway
- 4:36Speaker 2: to your son you can't do that with your daughter.
- 4:39Speaker 2: She's going to be put into positions. But you can
- 4:42Speaker 2: tell your son what positions to put a woman into
- 4:46Speaker 2: feel safe and say comfortable. But you can't like if
- 4:49Speaker 2: he does this, you know, it's a very ital odd thing.
- 4:53Speaker 2: But you can tell your son what to do and
- 4:55Speaker 2: what not to do.
- 4:57Speaker 1: You know. Cardi b spoke about this, and she's been
- 5:01Speaker 1: talking about it on a lot of different podcasts. I
- 5:03Speaker 1: think the one I saw, I believe it was with
- 5:06Speaker 1: Michelle Obama, if I'm not mistaken, but she was saying
- 5:12Speaker 1: when raising her son, she is very much teaching him
- 5:17Speaker 1: that like no.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Means no and respect. And that's where I'm kind of
- 5:22Speaker 2: thinking that. And it's very hard to like if I
- 5:26Speaker 2: had a daughter and I was like, so, he's gonna
- 5:29Speaker 2: probably say this, this, this, this, this, It's like I
- 5:32Speaker 2: have to go through a whole bunch of things of
- 5:33Speaker 2: what he might say to you.
- 5:35Speaker 1: You have to tap into the mind of a shitty
- 5:36Speaker 1: man or a man that like maybe Nick has been
- 5:38Speaker 1: at one point there it is.
- 5:40Speaker 2: And that's where I'm like, Okay, he probably knows that,
- 5:42Speaker 2: and now he's telling his son who not to be
- 5:44Speaker 2: that he was and now his son will have some
- 5:47Speaker 2: you know, a better chance at what he didn't.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Maybe, you know broad I talk. I talk to my
- 5:56Speaker 1: friends who have boys a lot, and I expressed just
- 6:00Speaker 1: with the state of the world, and you know, think
- 6:03Speaker 1: these men in positions of power who still maintain power
- 6:07Speaker 1: after a lot of things have come out about them,
- 6:09Speaker 1: and these women really fighting to not only be heard
- 6:12Speaker 1: but see something done, and for the most part, nothing
- 6:17Speaker 1: is done. So I've spoken to my friends who have
- 6:20Speaker 1: boys and I express, you know, my concern with having girls.
- 6:24Speaker 1: I never expected to be a girl mom. There are
- 6:27Speaker 1: things that I have not experienced that some of my
- 6:30Speaker 1: friends have that a lot of women have experienced at
- 6:34Speaker 1: the hands of a man. And I remember one of
- 6:37Speaker 1: my friends was like, I understand exactly what you're going
- 6:41Speaker 1: through and how that could be scary. She goes, But
- 6:44Speaker 1: I have to say, I am so terrified raising a
- 6:47Speaker 1: boy because I have to teach them about so many
- 6:52Speaker 1: things that are unacceptable. And she goes, And you think
- 6:57Speaker 1: that that would be an easy job, because it just
- 7:01Speaker 1: seems like it would be common sense to like treat people,
- 7:05Speaker 1: especially a woman, with respect and listen to them. But
- 7:09Speaker 1: when I look at a lot of these men, I
- 7:13Speaker 1: sometimes wonder, like what the mom did to make them
- 7:19Speaker 1: think that this was totally okay?
- 7:21Speaker 2: And maybe it's not even what the mom did, it's
- 7:23Speaker 2: what did the mom allow them to get away with.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Or sometimes it's just people are born who they are.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I mean, there's a lot of people I mean,
- 7:33Speaker 2: I'll just say that are incarcerated that did terrible things
- 7:37Speaker 2: and their mothers are out and that's not a you know,
- 7:42Speaker 2: what their kids did isn't a reflection of who the
- 7:45Speaker 2: mother is.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know. I love what Cardi B said.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Next time I see her, mama tell her that she
- 7:50Speaker 1: raised a bit. I'm all about blaming the mom. I'm like, oh,
- 7:58Speaker 1: your mama didn't finish the job, and I'm certain not
- 8:00Speaker 1: taking over now.
- 8:02Speaker 2: At some point, it's you're a man, and you know
- 8:04Speaker 2: right from wrong, and you shouldn't need your mom to
- 8:08Speaker 2: like you.
- 8:08Speaker 1: I agree, like you raised me. Now I know right
- 8:13Speaker 1: from wrong.
- 8:13Speaker 2: I shouldn't at the age that I'm at, or even
- 8:16Speaker 2: twenty three four or five and being like, but mom,
- 8:21Speaker 2: did I do that wrong?
- 8:22Speaker 1: It's like, what do you even fucking mean? You're an adult?
- 8:24Speaker 1: Why are you going to your mom? Or like yes,
- 8:28Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know, no, but it goes back
- 8:30Speaker 1: also because you know, I'm obsessed with Kay Michelle and
- 8:32Speaker 1: I just caught up on Real House. I was of Atlanta.
- 8:34Speaker 1: It is so good this season. I didn't think I
- 8:36Speaker 1: would like it because I did not enjoy last season,
- 8:40Speaker 1: just because I like what I like. And anytime you
- 8:43Speaker 1: recast pretty much an entire show, it's like, oh, this
- 8:46Speaker 1: is funky, but you've got familiar faces, but you also
- 8:48Speaker 1: have like a dynamic happening that I'm really freaking into.
- 8:52Speaker 1: But Ky Michelle, I've spoken about this song before because
- 8:54Speaker 1: it slaps so hard. Can't raise a man? She talks about,
- 9:01Speaker 1: he's already grown. What do you think you're going to
- 9:04Speaker 1: do about it? You wonder why he acts like a boy,
- 9:08Speaker 1: It's because he wasn't raised right before you. So is
- 9:18Speaker 1: it the mom's fault? I don't know. I'm a mom,
- 9:21Speaker 1: and I certainly hope that when Ocean and sos to
- 9:24Speaker 1: go into the world, they're not like you know what
- 9:25Speaker 1: you because they could roll the tape to your friends
- 9:30Speaker 1: are a huge Yes, they're the biggest influence on your life.
- 9:38Speaker 1: It's what Jomies did. It's just you. You were born
- 9:42Speaker 1: a bitch. You were born a bunch. You were born
- 9:45Speaker 1: a bitch, and you just didn't want to listen. Because,
- 9:48Speaker 1: let me tell you something, I know a lot of
- 9:50Speaker 1: people that were in the rooms at Eastwood Elementary when
- 9:53Speaker 1: they told us to be drug free. A lot of
- 9:55Speaker 1: those people did not listen. Okay, did not listen. Care
- 10:00Speaker 1: Dare Dare the Dare program. Anyway, back to dating, I
- 10:05Speaker 1: feel like my my mom our mom and dad were
- 10:09Speaker 1: very chilling, like do you ever remember mom or dad
- 10:11Speaker 1: saying like you can't date until this time?
- 10:13Speaker 2: No, but I assume they looked at me and thought,
- 10:15Speaker 2: I don't need to worry about him dating anyone, so
- 10:17Speaker 2: we'll just keep it going.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Because you had to sit on books to like past
- 10:23Speaker 1: your driving tests and stuff.
- 10:25Speaker 2: Yeah, and Dad, here's the one thing about Dad? Then,
- 10:27Speaker 2: I really just have, you know, a bone to pick?
- 10:31Speaker 1: Yeah, what is it?
- 10:33Speaker 2: I liked different hairstyles, but he was like, since he
- 10:37Speaker 2: had no hair, he was mister tube.
- 10:40Speaker 1: For a while, we were like, you're going to give
- 10:41Speaker 1: it up? To give up that tube?
- 10:43Speaker 2: Dad Like he would look at me and go, hey,
- 10:44Speaker 2: Houston and then fold it back to down.
- 10:47Speaker 1: I was like, all right, let's just get rid of it. Now,
- 10:49Speaker 1: this is just all right. I don't even know where
- 10:53Speaker 1: I'm going with this anymore. Because he had no hair,
- 11:00Speaker 1: it was like, your hair is amazing.
- 11:02Speaker 2: So I just had this long, stupidushy, curly hair. Then
- 11:08Speaker 2: I looked like a cute tip and my dad just
- 11:10Speaker 2: made me have it because he didn't have hair.
- 11:14Speaker 1: So I looked like a geriatric fuck at school. Because
- 11:17Speaker 1: my dad didn't have hair. You did not look geriatric.
- 11:21Speaker 1: People who look geriatric are usually bald. What are you
- 11:24Speaker 1: talking about? You're making no sense. I think you're upset
- 11:27Speaker 1: that you couldn't do cool things with your what that's
- 11:30Speaker 1: why you have dreads now, right? You did what you
- 11:32Speaker 1: could never do that you wanted to do.
- 11:34Speaker 2: I didn't even want dreads then, No, but I just
- 11:37Speaker 2: like I wanted like a cool like bade on the
- 11:39Speaker 2: top and my dad Dad would go just with all
- 11:42Speaker 2: that great hair while you keep cutting it.
- 11:44Speaker 1: It's like, Jesus, are you trying to live through me? Yeah?
- 11:47Speaker 1: Well he did, he did. It's like when Michelle tells
- 11:50Speaker 1: me she's gonna cut her hair, I'm like, why would
- 11:52Speaker 1: you do that? No, don't do that. I just remember dad,
- 11:56Speaker 1: or when when anyone who has a hairline that low,
- 12:00Speaker 1: and they're like, yeah, I'm in a laser. I'm like,
- 12:01Speaker 1: get rid of the hair. Why do you know how
- 12:05Speaker 1: many neutrapols I'm popping a day.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Dad would come out and just like back in the
- 12:09Speaker 2: day on the patio and he'd bring me my wine
- 12:12Speaker 2: and he'd hand it to me and then he just
- 12:13Speaker 2: did your age or normally No, I didn't, Yeah I
- 12:16Speaker 2: was over age. I was like twenty three.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Oh for age. I like that. This was yeah, I
- 12:19Speaker 1: was very ill, but like a couple of years before
- 12:22Speaker 1: he passed.
- 12:22Speaker 2: But he just looked at me and he'd go, got
- 12:25Speaker 2: great hair, And I'd just be like, what the fuck
- 12:27Speaker 2: is going on?
- 12:28Speaker 1: As he's just bald. I was like, wow, I've never
- 12:31Speaker 1: in my life. Even Brandon, like back in the day,
- 12:34Speaker 1: was like, enjoy your hair while you got it, because
- 12:36Speaker 1: Brandon's okay. But let's talk about this. If you shave
- 12:40Speaker 1: your hair, like you get rid of the dreads and
- 12:42Speaker 1: what if what if Dad doesn't grow back? No, no,
- 12:52Speaker 1: I have to imagine a lot of these are not
- 12:54Speaker 1: even attached to your head anymore. Do you guys want
- 12:57Speaker 1: to see something?
- 12:58Speaker 4: Way?
- 12:58Speaker 1: San? How did we get onto dating and you're the
- 13:03Speaker 1: bone to pick, said, Dad wouldn't let you get a fade.
- 13:06Speaker 1: What the fuck is going on? I don't know, and
- 13:09Speaker 1: I can't even find the dread but it is? Is it? Just?
- 13:15Speaker 1: You know what? Oh? I need a dog laugh. That
- 13:19Speaker 1: is so funny. I don't remember ever telling me another
- 13:23Speaker 1: one broke. That's all she got. Well, she's like Chandler
- 13:29Speaker 1: being's third nipple. No, there's a lot like this one.
- 13:33Speaker 1: She's on her last.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Dad, I'm sorry, but yeah, no, so that's your bone.
- 13:40Speaker 1: He couldn't get a haircut.
- 13:41Speaker 2: I couldn't get a haircut. But that's why I don't
- 13:43Speaker 2: think Dad and mom were like if if you were
- 13:47Speaker 2: worried about you dating, you see your five foot son
- 13:50Speaker 2: and then you see like his friends who are like,
- 13:52Speaker 2: you know, normal built, and they're like, they're getting the pussy,
- 13:55Speaker 2: and my son's fine. I don't need to worry about
- 13:58Speaker 2: him dating.
- 14:11Speaker 1: I think my first boyfriend I carried around his school picture,
- 14:15Speaker 1: Matt Taylor in the fourth grade, and then Matt was
- 14:18Speaker 1: my Matt was like my first boyfriend that we'd like
- 14:21Speaker 1: hold hands and just remember that was in the seventh grade.
- 14:24Speaker 1: He was in eighth grade. I remember guys.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Yeah, now talking about this, I don't ever want my
- 14:30Speaker 2: kids today. I remember coming into that, like my little
- 14:33Speaker 2: ass coming upstairs from the basement, just playing video games
- 14:35Speaker 2: with my friends, come inside into the main room, and
- 14:39Speaker 2: her boyfriend at the time is just bleeding from the
- 14:41Speaker 2: phase because they just got in like a huge fire.
- 14:43Speaker 1: I was like, I didn't get it, not you and him.
- 14:47Speaker 1: There was a group of friends, guys got in it.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Took a phone call, went outside when he re entered.
- 14:55Speaker 4: Bloody, bloody white tea, bloody east in passing out, thinking
- 15:02Speaker 4: I'm gonna go downstairs and play Halo again or something that.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Hell, yeah, oh my god, there's a lot of poor dad.
- 15:09Speaker 1: I know. He's like my seventh grade daughter. He was
- 15:12Speaker 1: like begging Matt, the boyfriend, was like begging my mom
- 15:17Speaker 1: not to tell his mom. And then his mom called
- 15:20Speaker 1: my mom and was like, what happened? Yeah, he got
- 15:23Speaker 1: his ass kicked. We're rats over here. Baby. She was like,
- 15:27Speaker 1: why wouldn't you tell me? And my mom was like,
- 15:28Speaker 1: he asked me not to.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Mom's a fucking real one. No, our family is a
- 15:33Speaker 2: real one.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Trust me.
- 15:34Speaker 2: They have done some things and I.
- 15:38Speaker 1: They've kept it on lock. Yeah, because they show.
- 15:42Speaker 2: I do love Mom, and I do think she is
- 15:44Speaker 2: like she'll take him to the grave type bitch. But
- 15:48Speaker 2: also I think she's a type that like she forgot
- 15:50Speaker 2: what you told her type bitch. Oh yeah, she did,
- 15:53Speaker 2: you know, like don't tell anyone, Like twenty minutes later,
- 15:55Speaker 2: she didn't even know what she was told.
- 15:58Speaker 1: You know, it's like she forgot the secret. Oh so
- 16:00Speaker 1: it's a little dory, little dory happening. Oh yes, yeah, exactly.
- 16:04Speaker 1: That Mom was always the one who, like, if I
- 16:07Speaker 1: liked someone, she would we would get in the car
- 16:11Speaker 1: and be like two in the morning and the boy
- 16:13Speaker 1: would come out and she'd pick him up with me
- 16:15Speaker 1: in the car and go drive through Wendy's and we
- 16:18Speaker 1: listened to like West Side By t Q. Yeah, it
- 16:22Speaker 1: was like the greatest. It was so much fun. I
- 16:24Speaker 1: just remember Mom's giant car always being filled with tons
- 16:29Speaker 1: of kids. Yeah.
- 16:30Speaker 2: That was the other thing, like back in like Junior
- 16:33Speaker 2: was the cool mom. No, she was because we'd be
- 16:35Speaker 2: hanging out at like midnight and then most of the
- 16:37Speaker 2: time all of my friends were sleeping over and they
- 16:40Speaker 2: could like come over, but Lisa, like it would be
- 16:42Speaker 2: like one thirty or two, he'd be like did we
- 16:44Speaker 2: just walk back to your house or something and be
- 16:46Speaker 2: like watch this my mom, and she'd just go, yep,
- 16:50Speaker 2: I'm on my way. She'd fucking make us like breakfast
- 16:53Speaker 2: at three am. She was still a vacuum.
- 16:55Speaker 1: In this bit. Oh yeah, totally. No, she was a gem.
- 16:58Speaker 1: But I think we also had it like that because
- 17:02Speaker 1: we didn't have tight leashes at all, So like I
- 17:06Speaker 1: didn't worry about going and I had a flip phone. Yeah,
- 17:10Speaker 1: I got my first phone in like the fourth grade.
- 17:12Speaker 2: I got mine in second because you got yours. So
- 17:16Speaker 2: I think it was just like a family plan. Yeah,
- 17:19Speaker 2: I got like a terrible one that I was already using.
- 17:22Speaker 1: It to school. That was what I knew was we
- 17:26Speaker 1: didn't have a tight leash. Like I never had to
- 17:28Speaker 1: worry if I got asked to a dance. It wasn't
- 17:30Speaker 1: some like big to do like sit down and let's talk.
- 17:33Speaker 1: It was basically like, you know the fucking rules, Yeah,
- 17:36Speaker 1: you break them, you take advantage of the retractable leash,
- 17:41Speaker 1: You're never leaving this house again. Yeah, and I knew that,
- 17:44Speaker 1: so I never took advantage. Now when I got my
- 17:48Speaker 1: high school boyfriend, my dad was obviously very nervous because
- 17:53Speaker 1: I was seventeen, my boyfriend was. I was a junior,
- 17:58Speaker 1: he was a senior. He went to a different school.
- 18:00Speaker 1: I struggled through that period of time in high school
- 18:04Speaker 1: because when I was a sophomore, my friends were seniors
- 18:06Speaker 1: that I had really gotten along with. They had graduated.
- 18:09Speaker 1: I was just kind of lost. My high school boyfriend
- 18:11Speaker 1: comes into the mix. He's like my best friend. We're
- 18:14Speaker 1: together every single day, we're having sleepovers. Dad was very
- 18:18Speaker 1: concerned about that. Mom said, Kent, if they want to
- 18:22Speaker 1: do stuff, they're going to do it, then they can
- 18:25Speaker 1: do it in a car, they can do it wherever
- 18:28Speaker 1: they want. Like it's our job to just teach her, like,
- 18:34Speaker 1: be freaking careful. We prefer you not do these things,
- 18:37Speaker 1: but things happen, Yeah, please be careful and careful. We
- 18:42Speaker 1: were yes, and then we all grew to love that man.
- 18:47Speaker 1: And I've never had a functioning relationship since No. He
- 18:49Speaker 1: was the only one.
- 18:51Speaker 2: You would do so many funny things like Lauren would
- 18:53Speaker 2: explode and he'd just looked at everyone, know and just fucking.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Riler up more. It was great. He knew exactly how
- 18:59Speaker 1: to deal with you, I know. And how sad that
- 19:02Speaker 1: I was the same at seventeen as I am right now. Yeah,
- 19:06Speaker 1: he might have burnt out. You think I don't know.
- 19:11Speaker 1: We'll never know. No, I will never know. Let me
- 19:14Speaker 1: tell you. I said going into twenty twenty six that
- 19:17Speaker 1: I am opening myself up to being in a relationship.
- 19:21Speaker 1: I will not be closed off. I'm not going to
- 19:23Speaker 1: try to like set parameters around my life to try
- 19:26Speaker 1: and control the situation. Because I was like, when my
- 19:29Speaker 1: kids reach this age and I have this going on,
- 19:32Speaker 1: this is the goal that I want to reach. And
- 19:34Speaker 1: once I reach that my kids are this age, then
- 19:37Speaker 1: I'll go out and start dating you. No, I'm just
- 19:40Speaker 1: going to let it be.
- 19:41Speaker 2: Do you And I know it's very early, and obviously
- 19:44Speaker 2: you kind of put the parameters when you know.
- 19:46Speaker 1: The child, But do you have.
- 19:49Speaker 2: I feel like, like with the Ocean, I feel like
- 19:52Speaker 2: when they're fourteen or thirteen, you kind of like they're
- 19:56Speaker 2: different there are becoming a little human and you're like, ohy.
- 19:59Speaker 1: K, it starts early than that now talking to Amber,
- 20:01Speaker 1: it starts like eleven or twelve.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:03Speaker 1: The iPads, huh, I think it's more than just the iPads.
- 20:05Speaker 1: It's like the schools they go to. We live in La.
- 20:08Speaker 1: It's a different freaking beast out.
- 20:09Speaker 4: Here in LA.
- 20:10Speaker 1: I think it's Actually you're right because she lives in
- 20:12Speaker 1: Bozeman and she said it's the same type of thing.
- 20:15Speaker 2: I think it's just the way that the world goes
- 20:17Speaker 2: and this is where we're at, right.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I do, Oh yeah, yeah, I don't know how
- 20:23Speaker 1: I'm going to be. Yeah. I was gonna say, do
- 20:25Speaker 1: you have.
- 20:27Speaker 2: A game plan as far as like most people have
- 20:29Speaker 2: like an age limit, like no, you can't date before sixteen,
- 20:32Speaker 2: and like I think those are great, but like sometimes
- 20:34Speaker 2: if I were to look and like, here's still a
- 20:36Speaker 2: ocean and she's sixteen, Like, nah, maybe eighteen. You gotta wait,
- 20:38Speaker 2: I don't think you're mature right now, like that type
- 20:41Speaker 2: of thing. You know, I'm going to play it by year.
- 20:44Speaker 2: I have to see how each kid is. I would
- 20:47Speaker 2: like to be the parent who is chill and this.
- 20:52Speaker 2: These are my expectations. I will give you all the
- 20:55Speaker 2: freedom in the world.
- 20:56Speaker 1: You are safe with me. And that's another reason why
- 20:58Speaker 1: I don't if they end up watching their bump rules
- 21:00Speaker 1: one day or whatever it is that I was on
- 21:02Speaker 1: my social media googling me, I'm fine with it because
- 21:05Speaker 1: They're going to see that their mom has lived some life.
- 21:09Speaker 1: When I am talking to you about drinking, how the
- 21:14Speaker 1: way you carry yourself in the world, by the way,
- 21:16Speaker 1: A lot of these things you just have to experience.
- 21:19Speaker 1: That's part of the growing up process. Is you act
- 21:22Speaker 1: a damn fool. You're immature. You do things that you
- 21:25Speaker 1: shouldn't do, and that's what kind of builds you into
- 21:29Speaker 1: the person you are to go out and have children,
- 21:30Speaker 1: and then you decide how you want to raise them.
- 21:32Speaker 1: I want my kids to know when I'm telling you
- 21:36Speaker 1: these things, there is never any judgment. You can come
- 21:38Speaker 1: to me about anything in everything. If you have if
- 21:44Speaker 1: you are drinking at a party and you're in high school,
- 21:47Speaker 1: I know that those things happen. You fucking pick up
- 21:50Speaker 1: the phone and you call me. I will not ask
- 21:52Speaker 1: any questions. I will be there. Like My job is
- 21:55Speaker 1: not to shame you or judge you. It is to
- 21:58Speaker 1: provide you with the life life where you feel safe,
- 22:01Speaker 1: taking care of and guided. The moment I feel that
- 22:04Speaker 1: you are slipping away, I will fuck up your world.
- 22:10Speaker 1: That's what it is. Good luck, Ocean, Good luck. What
- 22:15Speaker 1: about Sosa?
- 22:16Speaker 2: Sosa seems terrified of every shit she doesn't want to
- 22:19Speaker 2: do much but cry.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Oh, choose me Jah.
- 22:24Speaker 2: She had her she was eating this morning eggs and
- 22:27Speaker 2: she had her and stuffy.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Yeah, and you tried to get it away from her.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Oh, I just got it away from her and put
- 22:33Speaker 2: her eggs down, and then she did. She was like
- 22:36Speaker 2: this for three minutes, and I was.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Like, are you all right? Right? When I moved her her?
- 22:40Speaker 1: Oh my god, what's going on? Man? Did she get
- 22:45Speaker 1: that stuffy back? You fucking better believe it. I know,
- 22:48Speaker 1: but I'm trying to teach her that. Like now I'm
- 22:50Speaker 1: doing this thing where if I do something to her,
- 22:52Speaker 1: I'm like, you got to get over it. You got
- 22:55Speaker 1: to get over it. I'm not giving it back to you.
- 22:57Speaker 1: And then after like five minutes, I'm like, here's the fun. No,
- 23:01Speaker 1: you won't give up.
- 23:03Speaker 3: And then it kind of shops her identical to her,
- 23:06Speaker 3: but you do that. She's I don't know, man, this kid,
- 23:11Speaker 3: she's real. All I want to say at.
- 23:14Speaker 1: The end of this bonus is to my parents, good
- 23:18Speaker 1: luck out there. I'm sorry you have to endure survival
- 23:22Speaker 1: of the fittest put him on you.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Back to the point I think I like where I
- 23:40Speaker 2: agree with him with who Cannon Cannon Jesus Christ. Oh yeah,
- 23:46Speaker 2: the whole reason why we're talking about this, I do.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Too, because you control the boy more, and I think
- 23:53Speaker 1: that if you have the conversation with the daughter though,
- 23:55Speaker 1: if you're like, here's the deal you, this is why
- 23:59Speaker 1: I don't want you to date. Let me explain. Do
- 24:02Speaker 1: you still feel the need? Do you still like somebody?
- 24:05Speaker 1: Do you like him enough that you would feel comfortable
- 24:07Speaker 1: with me meeting him, because that's the way I would
- 24:08Speaker 1: feel comfortable. How do we come together and be a
- 24:11Speaker 1: team to make sure this guy is not going to
- 24:13Speaker 1: like mess around on my watch. I'm your dad, I'm
- 24:17Speaker 1: your protector. I know how how dudes think, so I'm
- 24:20Speaker 1: going to protect you. D yeph Okay, See, I think
- 24:24Speaker 1: there's more. I think there's more of a gray to it.
- 24:26Speaker 1: Not so he can date, you can't.
- 24:28Speaker 2: I think a conversation I guarantee that to be a
- 24:30Speaker 2: scary out of context.
- 24:31Speaker 1: I guarantee you sat down and.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Said I know shitty dudes, and this is why you're
- 24:35Speaker 2: not dating. You're the shitty dude that I can actually
- 24:38Speaker 2: control and make decent.
- 24:40Speaker 1: But what does he say to his daughter that dudes
- 24:42Speaker 1: are shitty? And I really can't control other dudes.
- 24:44Speaker 2: So right now I'm in protecting mode, and you're not
- 24:47Speaker 2: dating dudes because they're shitty and I can't control those.
- 24:49Speaker 1: She's just a date behind his back. Well, she's just
- 24:51Speaker 1: going to get a boyfriend behind his back. But you
- 24:53Speaker 1: don't know that.
- 24:54Speaker 2: Maybe now has done it to the point where he's like,
- 24:56Speaker 2: you know what, Maybe she has talked to a couple
- 24:58Speaker 2: of people and he's like, these are my you don't date.
- 25:00Speaker 1: I don't want you dating now. Okay, I don't know.
- 25:02Speaker 2: We don't know the full story. And he's got like
- 25:05Speaker 2: we'll say, and he is a great father from what
- 25:09Speaker 2: I've seen. Yeah, we don't know him, but I'm gonna
- 25:11Speaker 2: say if he is as hands on as everybody the
- 25:15Speaker 2: internet babies, I guarantee his daughter has a good relationship with.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Him as Mariah Carey's kids.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Yeah, And I guarantee Mariah Carey is probably in that
- 25:24Speaker 2: bitch saying no, I fucking know guys, do you know?
- 25:28Speaker 1: And then yes, like I dated your dad, yeah, and
- 25:31Speaker 1: that's what we're gonna not have you do.
- 25:33Speaker 2: And then your son, you're not going to be your dad,
- 25:36Speaker 2: So that's what we're not going to have you doing things?
- 25:38Speaker 1: Just got hell is sticky? Now I'm relating on a
- 25:40Speaker 1: whole different level. No, my mind is wandering.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Oh no, oh no, she doesn't have control over it
- 25:47Speaker 2: my mind.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Yeah today I do. Baby, we're back. I don't really. Oh,
- 25:52Speaker 1: we are so weird.
- 25:53Speaker 2: It's been You've been in like a lazy river where
- 25:55Speaker 2: they're just bouncing off walls, getting stuck at points.
- 26:00Speaker 1: I was disoriented. Can we just let it go now?
- 26:02Speaker 1: I want to move on. Oh I've lived in this
- 26:04Speaker 1: for two weeks. Same and now I'm over it. And
- 26:07Speaker 1: if I'm over it, We're all over it. Like I
- 26:09Speaker 1: don't Honestly, I don't even give one shit about it anymore.
- 26:12Speaker 1: That's how good I feel today. I went from giving
- 26:15Speaker 1: all the fucks in the world to like, Wow, I
- 26:19Speaker 1: woke up with not as feeling inside, not existing. I
- 26:24Speaker 1: don't even know what you're talking about anyway, Love you guys.
