  It is a national day of prayer. That's right. And this is what it's all about.

  We are coming together to you this morning to pray with one another.

  request and a prayer day. But I wanna start off by saying this.

  Every single day that we wake up, it's a blessing. Every single day that we

  wake up and we hear the birds chirping, even if it's raining or the sun is shining

  like it is right now in the Northeast, we have to take a few seconds to say, thank you, Lord.

  Thank you, Heavenly Father, for giving us the opportunity to wake up and to

  hear and see your glory, all that you have provided us here today.

  Lord, we thank you for every single person that has come into our homes,
• 2:44
  that has come into our hearts, that has come into our lives and allows us the opportunity to live.

  To be graced with your presence. I want to thank Boston for coming into our live.

  I want to thank everyone that is available right now. But I want us to come
• 2:58
  together and share in his good grace.

  So let's come together right now on the National Day of Prayer because today

  is considered National Prayer Day and it's May Day, May 1st, 2025.

  Let us pray. Heavenly Father, this morning, We are blessed to have friends and family.

  We are honored and we praise you, Lord, for all the good things that have come
• 3:25
  into our homes and into our hearts.
• 3:27
  Lord, we thank you for the good days and the bad days.
• 3:31
  We praise you on the good days and the bad days. Lord, we know not every day is perfect.
• 3:36
  We also know that not every single day is perfect.
• 3:40
  But what we do know is that when we are battling a storm, when we are feeling
• 3:46
  that you are further away, that's when you're closest to us.
• 3:50
  We know, Lord, that you are a co-pilot in this journey that we are in.
• 3:55
  We know that with you and through you, everything is possible.
• 3:59
  We also know that when we pray with you, that when we ask you to come into our
• 4:05
  hearts, you give us this amazing path to righteousness.

  The doors will be open. Nothing gets closed.

  And what we need to remember is that when we pray with you, even if it's for
• 4:17
  a few seconds, a minute, whatever the case may be, when we think of you,
• 4:22
  we hear you whisper into our ears.

  We believe in you. We trust you.

  We are here to guide you. We love you and we're never going to leave your side.

  That's what God is telling you this morning.

  That is what God is asking of you.

  It's not very difficult to take a few seconds to be with the Lord. We all drive to work.

  We all turn on our phones and swipe up and down and look at apps.

  Take a few seconds and just say, hey, God, I'm here. Just want to say I'm thinking of you.

  Here's my challenge to each and every one of you this morning. When you're

  done with watching this right now broadcast I want

  you to take your phone Go to your contact list Scroll

  And then stop at a random person Whoever you

  stop at Take a few seconds to pray for

  that person And then I want you to text or call them and say I want you to know

  that a few minutes ago I was scrolling I stopped at your name And I want you

  to know that I am personally thinking of you And I am praying for you I hope all is well.

  Think about what we do each and every day. Try to do one random act of kindness.

  And if we all can do that, the world will be a better place.

  I am praying for each and every one of you like Nighthawk. I'm praying for Boston, for Kristen.

  And if you don't know who Kristen is, by the way, she is such an inspiration

  to so many of us. She's on TikTok a lot.

  She prays for you. She's with you.

  She's inspired me to be a better person. As I'm in ministry school, when I am struggling,

  Kristen, I think of you because I know that your struggles and all the things

  that have happened to you, you continue to do all that you can to inspire others.

  So don't give up because God hasn't given up on you.

  If you believe that you're not worthy, you're wrong.

  If you believe that God is furthest away from you, you're wrong.

  If you believe that God doesn't love you and believe in you, you're wrong.

  If you believe that there's nothing in your heart that says that God would not
• 6:33
  forgive you, you're wrong.

  That's how much God loves you. These are not just words.

  I'm not saying it to sound good. I'm not saying it because I want to create

  views or downloads. No, I believe in this wholeheartedly.

  I've made mistakes in my life. I've done many things that I'm not proud of,
• 6:52
  but you know what I'm really most proud of is that I've learned from my mistakes.

  I've moved on from my mistakes and I'm trying to do the very best to make the
• 7:02
  world a better place one person at a time. And you can do the same.

  For all of us here tonight and all of us here, it is May 1st,

  it is National Prayer Day. And today, by law, at 11 a.m.

  Eastern Standard Time, there will be a National Day of Prayer.

  Join me and pray. I want to thank God for one thing.

  My brother had surgery, back surgery, and it was successful.

  I was hospitalized on Sunday. I was hospitalized when I thought I had chest

  pains and I thought I was having a heart attack.

  Ended up being a kidney stone. and I thank God for allowing me to walk home
• 7:41
  and to get back to my children and my wife.
• 7:44
  I want all of you to know this. Just because we all believe in God,
• 7:48
  just because we all trust in God, doesn't mean that the negativity,
• 7:53
  that the evil doesn't try to creep in.
• 7:55
  But don't allow them the opportunity and don't grant them the choice of telling
• 8:02
  others that the devil is responsible.
• 8:06
  Remember this, the devil is not a God. So don't give him any credit.

  It's when we say, oh, the devil's trying to get me. Nope, the devil can't.

  He cannot because he is not a God.
• 8:17
  He has no power amongst us. But you know who does? And you know who's always
• 8:21
  willing to be there for us?

  The good, the bad, and ugly? Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

  Because he loves you, he believes in you, and he's never gonna leave your side.

  Remember that today and every day. And remember this, when we were born,

  when we were created in his image, he was giving us a gift.

  So you all have a gift. You have a talent.

  Use your gifts and talents so that others can reap their rewards.

  And you know what the reward is?

  Knowing you. And if you know each other, if you know how God works,

  we all make up the body of Christ, which means all of us, all of us have a trait

  and a personality from God.

  Cannot make that up. It is reality and you are part of that.
