Mega Edition: Sarah Ransome, The Allegations About Epstein Tapes And The Editorial (8/21/26) · The Vault: The Epstein Files

0:00
Speaker 1: Back to the Epstein chronicles. We have seen several batches
0:05
Speaker 1: of what was once sealed information be unsealed and released
0:10
Speaker 1: to the public by Judge Loretta Preska. Now we're seeing
0:15
Speaker 1: more of those documents be unsealed, and we're hearing some
0:18
Speaker 1: pretty disturbing things from the deposition that Sarah Ransom gave
0:24
Speaker 1: during this whole entire ordeal. This deposition has to do
0:29
Speaker 1: with threesomes, hearsing videotapes of high profile people with other girls,
0:36
Speaker 1: and it just feeds right in to the things that
0:38
Speaker 1: we already knew, the fact that Jeffrey Epstein was recording
0:42
Speaker 1: these encounters, at least some of them, and using them
0:45
Speaker 1: for black mail purposes. That was the bread and butter
0:49
Speaker 1: of the operation. That was the bread and butter of
0:51
Speaker 1: their criminal enterprise, and for some reason they didn't get ricoded.
0:58
Speaker 1: You would think that an enterprise that is conducting itself
1:01
Speaker 1: in the manner that Jeffrey Epstein's enterprise was conducting itself
1:05
Speaker 1: would be the number one target for someone like the SDNY.
1:09
Speaker 1: Unfortunately it wasn't. And we keep hearing story after story
1:13
Speaker 1: like this from women like Sarah Ransom, and I don't
1:16
Speaker 1: know how it just doesn't discuss people to the point
1:19
Speaker 1: where they demand more justice because Glaine Maxwell being the
1:23
Speaker 1: only one arrested here. It is a straight up travesty.
1:29
Speaker 1: Today we have an article from the Daily Mail headline
1:33
Speaker 1: the footage will haunt me for the rest of my life.
1:36
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein's survivor claim she watched tapes the pedophile made
1:40
Speaker 1: of his wealthy friends having sex with a female victim
1:43
Speaker 1: for blackmail and says she still has copies stashed. So
1:48
Speaker 1: chew on that for a minute. Huh. According to Sarah Ransom,
1:52
Speaker 1: not only did she see these videos, but she still
1:54
Speaker 1: has the footage stashed somewhere. This article was authored by
2:01
Speaker 1: Daniel Bates. One of Jeffrey Epstein's survivors, has claimed that
2:06
Speaker 1: he did make sex tapes of his wealthy friends, and
2:09
Speaker 1: not only has she seen them, she made copies. And
2:13
Speaker 1: Sarah Ransom's newly released deposition has rekindled allegations that top
2:18
Speaker 1: attorney Alan Dershowitz was involved in the abuse of underage girls.
2:23
Speaker 1: Now we all know that Dershowitz went on as victory
2:26
Speaker 1: tour recently after he says that he was acquitted basically
2:30
Speaker 1: of charges of being with an underage girl. Well, mister Dershowitz,
2:36
Speaker 1: what say you, because Sarah Ransom also says that you
2:40
Speaker 1: and her had relations, So can we expect another defamation
2:44
Speaker 1: suit to be filed by Alan Dershowitz, this time against
2:48
Speaker 1: Sarah Ransom. Ransom claimed, in a deposition taken as part
2:54
Speaker 1: of a lawsuit that Virginia Roberts filed against Epstein's one
2:58
Speaker 1: time girlfriend, you mean, co conspirator, that she's seen footage
3:02
Speaker 1: of two of Epstein's associates having sex with a female victim.
3:08
Speaker 1: And I don't know why anyone would doubt that, because
3:11
Speaker 1: we all know that's what he was up to. We
3:13
Speaker 1: all know that the rooms were wired up. We've heard
3:15
Speaker 1: from several of the survivors, We've heard from IT people,
3:21
Speaker 1: We've heard from mister Scully, who was involved in doing
3:24
Speaker 1: all of the surveillance. So it's not like it's some
3:27
Speaker 1: kind of rumor. We know that these rooms were wired
3:30
Speaker 1: up for av and we know that he had CCTV
3:33
Speaker 1: throughout his properties, and she claims that she had been
3:39
Speaker 1: forced into a threesome with Dershowitz and an unidentified woman.
3:44
Speaker 1: Alan Dershowitz denies any abuse. He told The Daily Beast,
3:48
Speaker 1: let me be very clear. I have had sex with
3:50
Speaker 1: one woman since the day I met my wife, and
3:53
Speaker 1: during the entire relevant period of time, I never had
3:57
Speaker 1: any contact with Ransom. I've never had any contact with
4:00
Speaker 1: anyone else. And the stories are all made up. So
4:04
Speaker 1: everybody's a liar, and everybody is targeting Alan Dershowitz, because why,
4:09
Speaker 1: what's the reason here? What's the motivation that everybody is
4:13
Speaker 1: saying this about you, mister Dershy dersh That's the question
4:17
Speaker 1: I have. You don't see people running around saying this
4:20
Speaker 1: about Tom Brady. You don't see people running around saying
4:23
Speaker 1: this about insert whoever here. How Come it's only you
4:28
Speaker 1: that people are talking about that? Sarah Ransom says, this
4:31
Speaker 1: happened with or any of these other stories. Ransom goes
4:36
Speaker 1: on to claim that footage she saw will haunt me
4:39
Speaker 1: for the rest of my life, and that the faces
4:42
Speaker 1: of the two men were clearly visible. She does not
4:44
Speaker 1: identify those men. Ransom even claims to have copies which
4:49
Speaker 1: she is stored at several secure locations around Europe, and
4:53
Speaker 1: says she fears retaliation by Epstein even though he is dead.
4:58
Speaker 1: That shows you the long reach that Jeffrey Epstein at
5:00
Speaker 1: one time had There's still a lot of PTSD that
5:04
Speaker 1: these survivors have because of it, and still now to
5:08
Speaker 1: this day, some of them don't want to come forward
5:10
Speaker 1: and talk about what happened because they're scared. They know
5:14
Speaker 1: that the government's not going to protect them. What's the
5:16
Speaker 1: FBI going to come riding in for the rescue. The
5:21
Speaker 1: bombshell claim gives new light into the long held theory
5:24
Speaker 1: that Epstein blackmailed his wealthy mail friends with secretly recorded
5:28
Speaker 1: videos of them having sex with underage girls he provided.
5:33
Speaker 1: And this is why the whole Prince Andrew nonsense was nonsense.
5:38
Speaker 1: You know, he had his buddy come out talking about
5:40
Speaker 1: how Jeffrey Epstein was using Prince Andrew to get close
5:43
Speaker 1: to the Queen, and it was all bupkis. The whole
5:46
Speaker 1: time had nothing to do with that. It was about
5:49
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein trying to climb that social ladder and Prince
5:53
Speaker 1: Andrew being a vehicle to help him do that. Ransom,
5:58
Speaker 1: who was born in South Africa, moved to Scotland age fourteen,
6:02
Speaker 1: was lured into Epstein's web by one of his recruiters
6:05
Speaker 1: after coming to New York to become a model Epstein
6:09
Speaker 1: claimed he had connections that fit the New York Fashion College,
6:12
Speaker 1: and Ransom says he used my education as a way
6:16
Speaker 1: for me to trade my soul to the devil and
6:18
Speaker 1: become a sex slave to pay for my studies. While
6:21
Speaker 1: the college placement never materialized, failure to agree to have
6:25
Speaker 1: sex with Epstein would lead to him refusing to support
6:28
Speaker 1: her anymore, leaving Ransom penniless and with no prospect of
6:32
Speaker 1: making it as a model. She claims, So it was
6:35
Speaker 1: the typical Epstein run. They tell these girls they are
6:38
Speaker 1: going to get them jobs, Victoria's secret, this modeling agency,
6:42
Speaker 1: that modeling agency, when the reality is they have no
6:46
Speaker 1: plans on doing anything like that, and instead they're going
6:49
Speaker 1: to get wrapped up and caught in the web. Among
6:53
Speaker 1: the newly sealed documents or emails sent by Ransom explaining
6:56
Speaker 1: the existence of the tapes, Ransom rites, when my friend
7:00
Speaker 1: had sexual intercourse with redacted and redacted, sex tapes were
7:04
Speaker 1: in fact filmed on each occasion by Jeffrey. Thank god,
7:08
Speaker 1: she managed to get a hold of some footage of
7:10
Speaker 1: the film sex tapes, which clearly identify the faces of
7:14
Speaker 1: redacted and redacted having sexual intercourse with her. And this
7:19
Speaker 1: has been an ongoing theme. The fact that there's these
7:21
Speaker 1: tapes out there somewhere in existence, the fact that the
7:24
Speaker 1: FBI rated his house. Where are these tapes at? Does
7:28
Speaker 1: the FBI have them? Does another investigatory body have them?
7:32
Speaker 1: Does Darren Endyke have them? Where are these tapes? Epstein
7:38
Speaker 1: does not appear in the video, something that Ransom says
7:41
Speaker 1: showed how clever he was. The friend sent Ransom some
7:45
Speaker 1: of the footage implicating both men, and she writes that
7:48
Speaker 1: she has seen with my own two eyes the evidence
7:50
Speaker 1: of these sexual acts. Ransom writes, I will be more
7:54
Speaker 1: than willing to swear under oath and testify in court
7:57
Speaker 1: over these sex tapes. It will break your heart into
7:59
Speaker 1: a million pieces when you watch this footage. Pretty damning stuff, right,
8:04
Speaker 1: I mean, how many eyewitnesses does there have to be
8:07
Speaker 1: to what happened here for people to take note? We're
8:11
Speaker 1: going on what three decades now four decades and the
8:15
Speaker 1: only person of consequence who's in prison here is Glaine Maxwell.
8:20
Speaker 1: So there was nobody else involved? Tons that what you're
8:22
Speaker 1: telling me? This wasn't a gigantic conspiracy, a criminal enterprise
8:28
Speaker 1: with many moving parts, Ransom claims that she has backed
8:32
Speaker 1: up the footage on several USB sticks, that she is
8:35
Speaker 1: stored at various locations in Europe. Only one other person
8:39
Speaker 1: knows where the footage is in case anything happens to
8:41
Speaker 1: me before the footage is released. Ransom rights boy. I'd
8:45
Speaker 1: love for that footage to be released, not that I'd
8:48
Speaker 1: ever want to watch it, but I'd love for that
8:50
Speaker 1: to make its way out into the public and really
8:53
Speaker 1: slam home the fact what Jeffrey Epstein was doing, because
8:56
Speaker 1: there's still people out there that don't believe it. The
8:58
Speaker 1: theory about the tapes has been fueled by two of
9:00
Speaker 1: Epstein's survivors, Maria Farmer and Virginia Roberts, who claimed that
9:05
Speaker 1: they saw a room full of CCTV monitors at Epstein's
9:08
Speaker 1: sixty five million dollar mansion in New York, including some
9:12
Speaker 1: showing cameras in the toilets. And not just New York.
9:15
Speaker 1: We know that this was going on in New Mexico.
9:18
Speaker 1: We know that Palm Beach had cameras, and my guesses
9:21
Speaker 1: everywhere else that Epstein went was locked in and loaded
9:24
Speaker 1: for camera work too. When police rated Epstein's mansion in
9:30
Speaker 1: twenty nineteen, they found dozens of tapes of girls in
9:33
Speaker 1: a twisted library. The disgraced financier pedophile kept, so where
9:37
Speaker 1: did all of these tapes go? And why haven't they
9:39
Speaker 1: been used for evidence? According to the deposition, among the
9:45
Speaker 1: men that Ransom claimed she was forced to have sex
9:47
Speaker 1: with was Epstein's former lawyer, Alan Dershowitz. She described him
9:52
Speaker 1: as quite an elderly man, wore glasses, quite pasty, pasty skinned.
9:58
Speaker 1: Ransom said, not, well, I assume not at all well,
10:01
Speaker 1: pasty skin, wrinkly. I didn't. I tried to pay as
10:04
Speaker 1: little attention to him as possible. Ransom was asked whether
10:08
Speaker 1: or not she saw blood coming out of Dershowitz's penis,
10:11
Speaker 1: and she said, no, all right, what blood coming out
10:15
Speaker 1: of his penis? That doesn't sound like it's very much fun,
10:18
Speaker 1: And that sounds like a situation that deserves medical attention
10:23
Speaker 1: right away. What are you doing out here creeping with
10:26
Speaker 1: girls with Jeffrey Epstein if you have a willie that
10:29
Speaker 1: is bleeding? Ransom said she wasn't ravishing his body and
10:35
Speaker 1: didn't go woo when she saw him naked. She added,
10:38
Speaker 1: I was trying to close my eyes and just get
10:40
Speaker 1: it done so I could go home. And watch TV really.
10:43
Speaker 1: In response, Dershowitz said, I want the FBI to investigate me,
10:47
Speaker 1: everybody who's accused me, and the lawyers. I'm hoping that
10:51
Speaker 1: will still happen. Maybe the revelation of these documents will
10:54
Speaker 1: cause the FBI to start a perjury investigation and the
10:57
Speaker 1: prosecution involving both a QUES users and lawyers and a
11:01
Speaker 1: lot of people who've gotten rich off these files. So
11:04
Speaker 1: it's everybody else's fault. And it's funny to me that
11:08
Speaker 1: Alan Dershowitz is talking about everybody who's gotten rich off
11:11
Speaker 1: of these files. Buddy, you know who's gotten rich you.
11:15
Speaker 1: You've gotten rich on Jeffrey Epstein's dime. So what are
11:19
Speaker 1: you talking about right now? Ransom said she was recruited
11:24
Speaker 1: by one of Epstein's associates, who she met at a
11:27
Speaker 1: rock club. Recounting her first meeting with the financier pedophile,
11:31
Speaker 1: she said that he went to a movie theater with
11:33
Speaker 1: ten other girls and that soon after he invited her
11:36
Speaker 1: to his island. On the plane there, she saw him
11:39
Speaker 1: having sex with one of his other girls, and soon
11:42
Speaker 1: Ransom was asked to give Epstein sexualized massages, becoming one
11:46
Speaker 1: of the girls put on rotation for him, and that's
11:49
Speaker 1: how it worked. Epstein had a whole roll of deex
11:52
Speaker 1: of girls that he would call over for quote unquote massages.
11:56
Speaker 1: Whenever you hear anyone talk about massages in the world
12:00
Speaker 1: of Jeffrey Epstein, you know exactly what they meant. Sometimes
12:04
Speaker 1: the trip, as soon as she would leave his madam
12:09
Speaker 1: you mean, co conspirator Glenn Maxwell would bring in another
12:12
Speaker 1: girl for Epstein to have sex with, Ransom said in
12:14
Speaker 1: the deposition. Ransom called Maxwell a monster, a bully who
12:19
Speaker 1: was very dictatorial. According to Ransom, it was obvious she
12:23
Speaker 1: called the shots in the Epstein operation. During a trip
12:27
Speaker 1: to South Africa in two thousand and seven, Epstein and
12:30
Speaker 1: Maxwell gave Ransom an ultimatum. She would get her weight
12:34
Speaker 1: down to one hundred and fourteen pounds or they would
12:36
Speaker 1: never see her again. Maxwell bullied me massively about my weight,
12:41
Speaker 1: Ransom says. And that's something they would do too, right.
12:44
Speaker 1: They would try and break these girls down. They would
12:47
Speaker 1: try and crush them so that they could remake them
12:49
Speaker 1: into what they wanted. Ransom, desperate to get to fit
12:54
Speaker 1: the Fashion Institute of Technology one on the Atkins diet.
12:57
Speaker 1: At Epstein's suggestion, even though it reached tavoc on her body.
13:01
Speaker 1: Among the documents made public is a photo of Ransom
13:05
Speaker 1: taken on Epstein's private Caribbean island, Little Saint James. She
13:08
Speaker 1: says in the deposition that was me when I was naked.
13:12
Speaker 1: Actually I had a towel around me, so I think
13:15
Speaker 1: I had just had a massage by Jeffrey because I
13:18
Speaker 1: was naked underneath the towel. You imagine what these girls
13:21
Speaker 1: went through, this disgusting animal touching them, raping them, controlling
13:25
Speaker 1: their lives, all the while hanging out at the White
13:28
Speaker 1: House over seventeen times. Imagine how these women feel. Ransom
13:33
Speaker 1: was asked about other similar photos where she is wearing
13:36
Speaker 1: a towel and smiling, and said, you can tell I
13:39
Speaker 1: look really, really happy to be out of there. Other
13:42
Speaker 1: photos released with the documents show Maxwell smiling as she
13:46
Speaker 1: checks her phone while on Epstein's island. Epstein is also
13:50
Speaker 1: seen sitting on top of a quad bike while leering
13:52
Speaker 1: at the camera. Ransom was not one of the victims
13:55
Speaker 1: whose evidence helped convict Maxwell during her trial last year,
13:59
Speaker 1: but she did speak at the sentencing and said the
14:02
Speaker 1: British socialite left her feeling like a sex toy for
14:05
Speaker 1: Epstein's pleasure. Maxwell's sixty is currently serving a twenty year
14:09
Speaker 1: prison term aut a federal jail in Tallahassee, Florida. And
14:13
Speaker 1: we've heard how many different stories from how many different
14:16
Speaker 1: women about the same exact thing, And if anyone ever
14:22
Speaker 1: deserved their sentence, that person is certainly the lame. Maxwell
14:27
Speaker 1: Epstein hanged himself in prison, allegedly in New York in
14:31
Speaker 1: twenty nineteen while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. He
14:35
Speaker 1: was sixty six. The documents were part of dozens that
14:39
Speaker 1: were unsealed on a rolling basis that come from a
14:42
Speaker 1: defamation lawsuit filed by Virginia Roberts, Prince Andrew's accuser against Maxwell. Roberts,
14:48
Speaker 1: now thirty nine, initially claimed that she had been forced
14:51
Speaker 1: to have sex with Harvard law professor Dershowitz, but she
14:54
Speaker 1: sensationally backtracked last month, saying she may have made a
14:58
Speaker 1: mistake about his identity. I have long believed that I
15:01
Speaker 1: was trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein to Alan Dershowitz. However, I
15:05
Speaker 1: was very young at the time. It was a very
15:07
Speaker 1: stressful and traumatic environment, she said in a statement I
15:11
Speaker 1: now recognize I may have made a mistake in identifying
15:14
Speaker 1: mister Dershowitz. And again just my guess here, it all
15:18
Speaker 1: had to do with how long and protracted this litigation
15:22
Speaker 1: has been. For Virginia, the juice wasn't worth the squeeze
15:26
Speaker 1: at this point, so she said, you know, what, the
15:28
Speaker 1: hell with it all? And after all she's been through,
15:31
Speaker 1: can you really blame the lady? Roberts, who now lives
15:37
Speaker 1: in Australia, agreed to drop the defamation lawsuit against Dershowitz
15:41
Speaker 1: that he claimed had libeled her by saying she was lying.
15:44
Speaker 1: At the same time, Dershowitz eighty four withdrew a countersuit
15:48
Speaker 1: against Roberts. Maxwell settled the lawsuit, but after applications from
15:53
Speaker 1: the media, previously sealed material is being made public. Well, folks,
15:57
Speaker 1: there you have it. We're getting another look at some
16:00
Speaker 1: of these files that have been released, and obviously I'm
16:04
Speaker 1: going through some of them now as we speak. So
16:06
Speaker 1: as I make my way through all of these documents
16:09
Speaker 1: and we get some more information out there, you can
16:11
Speaker 1: be sure that'll be added to the catalog. All right,
16:16
Speaker 1: that's gonna do it for this one. If you'd like
16:17
Speaker 1: to contact me. You can do that at Bobby Kopuchi
16:20
Speaker 1: at ProtonMail dot com. That's bo b b Y c
16:24
Speaker 1: apu Cci at ProtonMail dot com. You can also find
16:29
Speaker 1: me on Twitter at Bobby Underscore c ap use Cci.
16:34
Speaker 1: The link that I discussed can be found in the
16:37
Speaker 1: description box Judy. What's up, everyone, and welcome back to
16:42
Speaker 1: the Epstein Chronicles. On today's episode, we're gonna dive into
16:47
Speaker 1: the Sarah Ransom situation and talk a little bit more
16:50
Speaker 1: about what she claims that she has seen on video. Now, look,
16:55
Speaker 1: Sarah Ransom says that she saw these videos, and people
16:59
Speaker 1: are pointing to the fact that she's so called recanted
17:02
Speaker 1: her statement, saying that it never happened. Well, now, Sarah
17:06
Speaker 1: Ransom has went on a British news program called Good
17:10
Speaker 1: Morning Britain and she's doubling down on her allegations. She's
17:14
Speaker 1: saying that she did see those tapes. And this comes
17:17
Speaker 1: as a lot of outlets are reporting about her recanting.
17:21
Speaker 1: So before we dive into Sarah Ransom's deposition starting today,
17:26
Speaker 1: I figured we'd laid some groundwork here with these allegations
17:29
Speaker 1: and dive into this article to try and make heads
17:32
Speaker 1: and tails of it. So let's dive into this murky
17:34
Speaker 1: pool and try to find some clarity. Like I said,
17:37
Speaker 1: this article is from the Daily Mail and the headline
17:41
Speaker 1: Epstein's Sex Slave insists there were sex tapes of Prince Andrew,
17:45
Speaker 1: Bill Clinton and Richard Branson, but claims she was forced
17:48
Speaker 1: to retract allegations after she and her family were threatened
17:52
Speaker 1: with arm by Glenn Maxwell and others. So it really
17:55
Speaker 1: comes down to what do you believe. Do you believe
17:59
Speaker 1: that Sarah Ransom telling the truth or do you believe
18:02
Speaker 1: that these videos don't exist. Me personally, I've heard from
18:05
Speaker 1: way too many people about videos being in existence to
18:09
Speaker 1: think that these videos do not exist. The question is
18:12
Speaker 1: where are these videos and who are in possession of them?
18:16
Speaker 1: Is it the FBI? Is it somebody else? Again, a
18:19
Speaker 1: lack of information, a lack of transparency causes all kinds
18:22
Speaker 1: of chaos in situations such as this, And to alleviate
18:25
Speaker 1: the nonsense moving forward, why don't we just have full transparency,
18:30
Speaker 1: Release everything that you have, dj, release everything you have government,
18:35
Speaker 1: and let's see where things currently stand. But unless that happens,
18:39
Speaker 1: there's gonna be people out there who don't believe the narrative.
18:42
Speaker 1: There's gonna be people out there who think everything the
18:45
Speaker 1: government tells them is a bunch of bs, and considering
18:48
Speaker 1: the way things have went when it comes to Ebstein,
18:50
Speaker 1: would they really be wrong? Today's article was authored by
18:53
Speaker 1: Dan Woodland. Jeffrey Epstein's sex slave has insisted the pedophile
18:58
Speaker 1: did make sex tapes of Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton and
19:01
Speaker 1: Richard Branson, but claimed she was forced to retract the
19:04
Speaker 1: allegations after her and her family were threatened. Now that
19:09
Speaker 1: certainly tracks. We know that Epstein and his pals used
19:12
Speaker 1: to use threats all the time on these girls, so
19:15
Speaker 1: that certainly tracks with me. Sarah Ransom made the claim
19:18
Speaker 1: in twenty sixteen, which have only now been revealed in
19:22
Speaker 1: newly released documents, saying that the three men were filmed
19:26
Speaker 1: by the pedophile financier using hidden cameras throughout his various properties.
19:31
Speaker 1: Now look again, I have never seen these videos for myself.
19:34
Speaker 1: Do I believe that there's videos out there that exist?
19:36
Speaker 1: I do. What the contents of those videos are, that's
19:40
Speaker 1: anyone's guess. Because every single one of his properties was
19:44
Speaker 1: wired up, every last one of them. And if you're
19:46
Speaker 1: going to go to such great lengths to make everything
19:49
Speaker 1: you know, wired up for surveillance. You mean to tell
19:52
Speaker 1: me that you're not going to use those videos for
19:54
Speaker 1: whatever purpose. Miss Ransom reattracted her allegations in the same year,
20:00
Speaker 1: reportedly saying that she invented the tapes to shine a
20:04
Speaker 1: light on what Epstein was doing. So it's never a
20:07
Speaker 1: good thing, right, if you attract a statement, you say
20:10
Speaker 1: that you made something up, it's gonna ding your credibility
20:13
Speaker 1: without a doubt, one hundred percent. And you already see
20:16
Speaker 1: that with Sarah Ransom. You see people coming out and
20:19
Speaker 1: questioning her reliability and her credibility as a witness. And
20:24
Speaker 1: that's because she made these statements previously and then came
20:27
Speaker 1: back out and said, look, no, it didn't happen. But
20:30
Speaker 1: now she's saying the reason that she recanted is because
20:33
Speaker 1: she was in fear of her life. And when we're
20:36
Speaker 1: talking about Epstein and his buddies again, that's not too
20:39
Speaker 1: far out of the realm of possibility. But appearing on
20:43
Speaker 1: Good Morning Britain today, she reiterated her claims and said
20:46
Speaker 1: she was forced to attract the allegations after she and
20:49
Speaker 1: her family were threatened with harm by Epstein. Glaine Maxwell
20:53
Speaker 1: and others. She added that it is no secret that
20:56
Speaker 1: everything was recorded, and claimed that multiple victims have come
20:59
Speaker 1: full confirming her account. A spokesman for mister Branson described
21:04
Speaker 1: the claims as baseless and unfounded. So really it comes
21:08
Speaker 1: down to a credibility thing. Who do you want to
21:10
Speaker 1: believe sour Ransom or the people that allegedly were on
21:14
Speaker 1: these videos. And frankly, if somebody said I was on
21:17
Speaker 1: some video and I wasn't and I was some big, rich,
21:20
Speaker 1: powerful son of a bitch, I'd sue you. You'd see
21:24
Speaker 1: me in court and we'd be going to Discovery believe it.
21:28
Speaker 1: A US judge has ordered hundreds of documents to be
21:31
Speaker 1: unsealed as part of Virginia Roberts legal claim against British
21:34
Speaker 1: socialite you mean all around scusbag, bipedal serpent and fellow
21:39
Speaker 1: child abuser right Glay Maxwell, which was filed in twenty fifteen.
21:43
Speaker 1: The sex tapes claim was made in a letter Miss
21:46
Speaker 1: Ransom sent a journalist in twenty sixteen talking about her experiences.
21:51
Speaker 1: It was made public in a trench of court documents
21:53
Speaker 1: released on Monday. In the letter, miss Ransom wrote, when
21:58
Speaker 1: my friend had sexual intercourse with Clinton, Prince Andrew, and
22:01
Speaker 1: Richard Branson. Sex tapes were in fact filmed on each
22:05
Speaker 1: separate occasion by Jeffrey. Now do I know if any
22:08
Speaker 1: of that's true? I do not. I was not there.
22:11
Speaker 1: What I do know is this that Jeffrey Epstein had
22:14
Speaker 1: all of his properties wired up for surveillance. The question
22:18
Speaker 1: is what were those tapes used for? And I don't
22:20
Speaker 1: think you need to really take a leap to start
22:23
Speaker 1: speculating for what a collection of tapes like that might
22:27
Speaker 1: be used for in the future. Thank god, she managed
22:31
Speaker 1: to get a hold of some footage of the film
22:33
Speaker 1: Sex Tapes, which clearly identify the faces of Clinton, Prince Andrew,
22:37
Speaker 1: and Branson having sexual intercourse with her. Frustratingly enough, Epstein
22:42
Speaker 1: was not seen in any of the footage. But he
22:44
Speaker 1: was clever like that. When my friend eventually had the
22:47
Speaker 1: courage to speak out and went to the police in
22:50
Speaker 1: two thousand and eight to report what had happened, nothing
22:53
Speaker 1: was done and she was utterly humiliated by the police
22:56
Speaker 1: department where she went to report what had happened with
22:58
Speaker 1: Prince Andrew, Clinton, Branson and Prince Andrew. Miss Ranson also
23:03
Speaker 1: claimed I have backed up the footage on several USB
23:06
Speaker 1: sticks and have securely sent them to various different locations
23:10
Speaker 1: throughout Europe. Now, those are some heavy ass claims, and
23:14
Speaker 1: if you're going to make claims like that, you know
23:16
Speaker 1: that you're going to open yourself up to criticism. So
23:19
Speaker 1: the question is do you believe what Sarah Ransom's telling you.
23:23
Speaker 1: A spokesman from mister Branson pointed to a twenty nineteen
23:27
Speaker 1: article in The New Yorker magazine which said Miss Ransom
23:30
Speaker 1: had invented the sex tapes to draw attention to Epstein's
23:33
Speaker 1: behavior and make them believe she had evidence that would
23:36
Speaker 1: soon come out if he harm me. Miss Ransom thirty eight,
23:40
Speaker 1: whose father is Lord McPherson, the second Baron of Dramachter,
23:44
Speaker 1: has previously told how she was raped up the three
23:47
Speaker 1: times a day by Epstein, having been tricked by Glenn
23:50
Speaker 1: Maxwell into his sordid web of abuse when she was
23:53
Speaker 1: a twenty two year old wanna be model. Miss Ransom
23:57
Speaker 1: was one of eleven women allowed to give statements to
24:00
Speaker 1: Miss Maxwell's New York sentencing hearing in twenty twenty two
24:03
Speaker 1: about how the British socialite had wrecked their lives, but
24:07
Speaker 1: This is the first time her claim about Epstein sex
24:10
Speaker 1: taping Andrew Sir Richard, and former US President Clinton have
24:14
Speaker 1: been spelt out in court documents. The theory about sex
24:18
Speaker 1: tapes has long swirled around the Epstein case. Two of
24:21
Speaker 1: his victims, Maria Farmer and Virginia Roberts, claimed that they
24:25
Speaker 1: saw a room full of CCTV monitors at Epstein's sixty
24:28
Speaker 1: five million dollar mansion in New York, including some showing
24:32
Speaker 1: cameras in the toilets. Not only that, but we've heard
24:36
Speaker 1: from several different people who worked it for Jeffrey Epstein
24:40
Speaker 1: and who came and helped set up the surveillance. So
24:43
Speaker 1: there's no doubt that these places were wired up. The
24:47
Speaker 1: question is where are these tapes at. When police raided
24:50
Speaker 1: the mansion in twenty nineteen, they found dozens of tapes
24:53
Speaker 1: of girls in a twisted library the disgrace financier Pedophile
24:58
Speaker 1: kept and Maxwell herself appear to have admitted the tapes
25:01
Speaker 1: existed after being tricked by a journalist for the TV
25:04
Speaker 1: show Sixty Minutes, telling him I don't know where they are.
25:07
Speaker 1: So there's no doubt, folks, that there were. But if
25:10
Speaker 1: the FBI does have sex tapes of famous people, they
25:13
Speaker 1: have never emerged publicly. No such tapes were ever referred
25:17
Speaker 1: to in Maxwell's trial, let alone produced in evidence. Maxwell
25:21
Speaker 1: with jail for twenty years for running a sex trafficking
25:24
Speaker 1: ring and molesting schoolgirls with Epstein. Meanwhile, Donald Trump has
25:29
Speaker 1: slammed the baseless accusations that he had sex with many
25:32
Speaker 1: girls after he was named in the latest batch to documents.
25:35
Speaker 1: Oh we're getting to that too. Don't worry, good old
25:37
Speaker 1: Donnie boy Trump named in the documents as well. Did
25:40
Speaker 1: you think it was gonna be any less? All these
25:43
Speaker 1: people that were palaling around with Trump, all of them,
25:46
Speaker 1: even your faves, are reprehensible. Man. I have no use
25:50
Speaker 1: for any of these people. These baseless accusations have been
25:54
Speaker 1: fully retracted because they are simply false and have no merit,
25:58
Speaker 1: Trump's spokesman Stephen Chunk said Monday amid the latest document
26:01
Speaker 1: release related to the Epstein case. The statement blasting the
26:06
Speaker 1: unsubstantiated accusations came after the release of emails containing further
26:10
Speaker 1: accusations from his ransom back in twenty sixteen. Meanwhile, an
26:14
Speaker 1: image of labor peer lord Peter Mandelson on Jeffrey Epstein's
26:18
Speaker 1: private island has resurfaced as part of the latest release
26:22
Speaker 1: of the US court documents. Another fellow traveler, good old
26:26
Speaker 1: mister Mandelsson. A photo of the politician and the pedophile
26:30
Speaker 1: financier from two thousand and six is included in the
26:33
Speaker 1: latest tranch of unsealed papers. It shows Labor Grandee sporting
26:38
Speaker 1: a twenty one thousand pounds Protect Philippe watch and trying
26:42
Speaker 1: on a white leather belt at a fashion boutique in
26:44
Speaker 1: the US Virgin Islands. It was previously reported that Branson
26:48
Speaker 1: had breakfast with Epstein just three years after the pedophile
26:51
Speaker 1: was jailed for child prostitution, according to court documents. Now, look,
26:56
Speaker 1: I won't say that Richard Branson was out here, you know,
26:59
Speaker 1: engaging anything untowards, but what are you doing meeting up
27:02
Speaker 1: with Epstein three years after the dude was already a
27:05
Speaker 1: convicted child abuser. Like, I don't get it. Why would
27:08
Speaker 1: you even bother meeting with this guy at all. In
27:11
Speaker 1: twenty nineteen, a spokesman for the billionaire Virgin founder said
27:14
Speaker 1: that the two men had no personal or business relationship,
27:18
Speaker 1: but a bombshell legal document revealed that in twenty eleven,
27:22
Speaker 1: Epstein emailed his private banker Jess Day, on the former
27:25
Speaker 1: Labor cabinet minister Peter Mandelsson to tell them of his
27:29
Speaker 1: alleged meeting with Branson. The document states. On January seventh,
27:33
Speaker 1: twenty eleven, Epstein emailed his private banker Jess Day and
27:37
Speaker 1: the former Labor cabinet minister Peter Mandelsson to tell them
27:41
Speaker 1: of his alleged meeting with Branson. The document states. On
27:44
Speaker 1: January seventh, twenty eleven, Epstein writes to Peter Mandelson, copying,
27:49
Speaker 1: stay had breakfast with Richard Branson. He is also a
27:52
Speaker 1: big fan of Africa. And again, look, just to be clear,
27:56
Speaker 1: just because you associated with Epstein as far as some
27:59
Speaker 1: kind of email or transaction whatever, doesn't mean you were
28:02
Speaker 1: abusing girls. My problem is the people that were facilitating
28:06
Speaker 1: this man and enabling him. So when I talk about people,
28:10
Speaker 1: I'm very clear where I put them, what level I
28:12
Speaker 1: put them at. And unless there's a credible accusation against
28:15
Speaker 1: you for abusing girls, then you certainly shouldn't be put
28:19
Speaker 1: in that wrong right that category of people who were
28:22
Speaker 1: helping Epstein out, because remember there were levels to this enablers,
28:27
Speaker 1: hanger ons, people that were benefiting financially. And then the
28:30
Speaker 1: worst of the worst, obviously are the people who were
28:33
Speaker 1: engaging in the abuse right along with Epstein. But just
28:37
Speaker 1: because you're mentioned in these documents, that doesn't mean you
28:39
Speaker 1: took part in any abuse. I just want to be
28:42
Speaker 1: very clear about that. Epstein was a convicted sex offender
28:45
Speaker 1: at the time of the alleged meeting. In June two
28:48
Speaker 1: thousand and eight, he pleaded guilty to soliciting an underage
28:51
Speaker 1: girl for prostitution and was sentenced to eighteen months in jail.
28:55
Speaker 1: Epstein had a little black book containing the names of
28:58
Speaker 1: three hundred and one of Britain's riches and most powerful people,
29:01
Speaker 1: including Branson and Prince Andrew. It was claimed in twenty nineteen. No,
29:06
Speaker 1: not claimed. We all saw that book. Those aren't allegations.
29:10
Speaker 1: Look if there's documentation out there that we can point to,
29:13
Speaker 1: and there's receipts that point us in the direction of something,
29:16
Speaker 1: well that's not an allegation anymore. Right. We saw the book,
29:19
Speaker 1: We saw the entries in that book. The pedophile cultivated
29:24
Speaker 1: an extraordinary cash of more than one thousand phone numbers
29:27
Speaker 1: and email addresses for hundreds of famous names across the Atlantic.
29:32
Speaker 1: So There's gonna be a lot of buzz going on
29:34
Speaker 1: about what Sarah Ransom saw or didn't see, and as
29:37
Speaker 1: far as that goes, only Sarah Ransom can tell you
29:40
Speaker 1: one way or the other what the deal is for me. Anyway,
29:43
Speaker 1: One thing that I'm sure of is that there are videos.
29:46
Speaker 1: The question is what do those videos contain and where
29:50
Speaker 1: those videos are located, because as of now we have
29:53
Speaker 1: no idea, and chances are that's a question that'll never
29:57
Speaker 1: be answered. Folks, that's going to do it for this one.
30:01
Speaker 1: All of the information that goes with this episode can
30:04
Speaker 1: be found in the description box. Luckily. What's up everyone,
30:09
Speaker 1: and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. One of the
30:13
Speaker 1: survivors of Epstein and Maxwell who has courageously stepped up
30:18
Speaker 1: time and time again to tell her a story and
30:22
Speaker 1: to educate the public at large about what went on
30:25
Speaker 1: is Sarah Ransom. And now Sarah has an opinion piece
30:30
Speaker 1: in the Washington Post and we're going to dive into that.
30:34
Speaker 1: But first, what she talks about in this piece is
30:39
Speaker 1: very much the truth how it's very hard for people
30:42
Speaker 1: to come forward and tell the world what happened, especially
30:47
Speaker 1: with all of the scorn, especially with the way people
30:50
Speaker 1: are stigmatized and when you're of age, of legal age,
30:55
Speaker 1: the way a lot of the girls in the Epstein
30:57
Speaker 1: situation were a lot of people come out and say, well,
31:01
Speaker 1: you should have known better, or you shouldn't have done that.
31:04
Speaker 1: You're of legal age, you shouldn't have been caught up
31:06
Speaker 1: in this. But the reality is things were a lot
31:10
Speaker 1: more complex, and people like Epstein and Maxwell, they had
31:14
Speaker 1: it down to a science, the way they groomed people
31:17
Speaker 1: and the way they made people feel that what was
31:20
Speaker 1: going on was just normalized behavior. So anyone who's out
31:25
Speaker 1: here throwing stones and calling these girls gold diggers or
31:30
Speaker 1: liars or whatever, they're just missing the plot. And frankly,
31:35
Speaker 1: they don't know what they're talking about. This is not
31:40
Speaker 1: a cash grab or somebody looking to torpedo somebody else.
31:45
Speaker 1: This is nothing like that. There are literally hundreds, if
31:50
Speaker 1: not thousands, of girls who were assaulted by Epstein and Maxwell.
31:56
Speaker 1: Those are just the facts. And Sarah Ransom, well, she
32:01
Speaker 1: came forward and she put herself out there to be
32:04
Speaker 1: criticized and to have her name dragged through the mud
32:07
Speaker 1: by some people. But the reality is without people like
32:12
Speaker 1: Sarah Ransom, Maria Farmer, Virginia Roberts, Annie Farmer, Courtney Wilde.
32:18
Speaker 1: I can go on forever. If it wasn't for these
32:20
Speaker 1: ladies so bravely coming forward and bringing the story directly
32:25
Speaker 1: to you, the people, we would have never had even
32:28
Speaker 1: a little bit of justice in this case. And while
32:31
Speaker 1: we don't have all of the people who should be
32:34
Speaker 1: in prison sitting in prison, there has been at the
32:37
Speaker 1: very least a little bit of justice. Is it enough?
32:41
Speaker 1: Hell no, but at least Maxwell's sitting behind bars right.
32:45
Speaker 1: Today's article is from the Washington Post and it's an
32:50
Speaker 1: opinion piece written by Sarah Ransom. Headline I survived Epstein
32:55
Speaker 1: and Maxwell's sex ring. Then the gas lighting began. Like
32:59
Speaker 1: I said, authored by Sarah Ransom, When I heard the
33:04
Speaker 1: eerie clink of shackles as Glene Maxwell entered her sentencing
33:08
Speaker 1: hearing in New York courtroom last month, I thought, I
33:11
Speaker 1: will never doubt myself again. And it had to be empowering, right,
33:16
Speaker 1: talk about shoe on the other foot, Maxwell, who was
33:20
Speaker 1: one of the big key contributors to keeping these girls
33:23
Speaker 1: basically in bondage, is now shackled like an animal across
33:28
Speaker 1: from you. That has to be a good feeling, at
33:32
Speaker 1: least for the girls that were present, right, and for
33:35
Speaker 1: those who were abused by Maxwell. It's certainly a slam
33:39
Speaker 1: the door shut kind of moment. Maxwell was sentenced to
33:45
Speaker 1: twenty years in prison for helping financier pedophile Jeffrey Epstein
33:49
Speaker 1: sexually abused underage girls, and she continues to insist that
33:54
Speaker 1: she is being punished for his crimes even after the
33:57
Speaker 1: jury's guilty verdict. Statement at the sentencing to make clear
34:02
Speaker 1: Maxwell is guilty of her own crimes and to speak
34:06
Speaker 1: up for all victims, both underage and those like me
34:10
Speaker 1: who were of age when trafficked, and for me, Look,
34:14
Speaker 1: the worst crime in the world is abusing a child, right,
34:17
Speaker 1: But that doesn't lessen how evil it is for what
34:20
Speaker 1: they did to women of age. Anyone who's being trafficked,
34:25
Speaker 1: I don't care how old you are. Anyone who is
34:27
Speaker 1: being trafficked is being done completely dirty, and the people
34:31
Speaker 1: responsible need to be held responsible. And people out here
34:34
Speaker 1: blaming the people who are being trafficked, it's just garbage.
34:39
Speaker 1: That's the coward's way out. News coverage of Epstein and
34:44
Speaker 1: Maxwell's sex crimes has mostly focused on the young girls
34:48
Speaker 1: recruited near Epstein's Florida mansion and the rich and powerful
34:51
Speaker 1: men who visited his Caribbean island. Yeah, a lot of
34:55
Speaker 1: the mainstream focus has been on that. There's no doubt
34:57
Speaker 1: about it. It's the island and the New New York
35:00
Speaker 1: townhouse for the most part that people want to discuss.
35:03
Speaker 1: Excuse me, the mansion in Florida that people want to
35:05
Speaker 1: discuss because they feel like that's going to be the
35:08
Speaker 1: most salacious. But me, I think that it's the unturned
35:13
Speaker 1: stones that are the most important here. What happened at
35:17
Speaker 1: Zoro Ranch, what happened overseas, and what happened with all
35:21
Speaker 1: of these unnamed girls. I struggled with this because the
35:27
Speaker 1: trafficking operation snared not only underage girls who were coerced
35:31
Speaker 1: into nude massages, masturbation, oral sex, and intercourse. There was
35:36
Speaker 1: a large group of women like me who were trafficked
35:38
Speaker 1: and raped for more than three decades. I was twenty two,
35:42
Speaker 1: and again, look, it doesn't matter the age. If somebody
35:45
Speaker 1: is being exploited and abused, especially by people like Epstein,
35:50
Speaker 1: people need to speak up and the stigma on survivors
35:57
Speaker 1: coming forward that shit is garbage and it needs to
36:00
Speaker 1: go to the wayside. And that's doubly for with men.
36:04
Speaker 1: You know how men are stigmatized when they come forward
36:06
Speaker 1: and say they've been sexually assaulted. It's just it's ridiculous.
36:11
Speaker 1: And for somebody to act like it's not a big deal,
36:14
Speaker 1: or like Sarah Ransom because she was twenty two, wanted it,
36:18
Speaker 1: it's just completely missing the plot. And when you're a
36:23
Speaker 1: legal adult, you face a barrage of you should have
36:25
Speaker 1: known better, victim blaming and you deserved it gaslighting. Since
36:30
Speaker 1: coming forward in twenty sixteen, I have been called a
36:33
Speaker 1: gold digger, a whore, and a prostitute. Even my own
36:37
Speaker 1: father said, you made your bed, you can lie in it.
36:40
Speaker 1: I can't imagine saying that to my daughter. I have
36:43
Speaker 1: to be honest with you. I don't care if my
36:45
Speaker 1: daughter made her own bed. I would never say that
36:48
Speaker 1: to her, not in this sort of situation. Maybe if
36:51
Speaker 1: she messed up, you know, got caught drunk with her
36:55
Speaker 1: friends or something. All right, different story, but this, forget it.
36:59
Speaker 1: The person that would be blamed by me and looked
37:02
Speaker 1: forward to have a conversation with me would be Jeffrey Epstein,
37:06
Speaker 1: not my daughter, not any of these girls. Look, it's
37:09
Speaker 1: none of their fault. They were all exploited by these people.
37:12
Speaker 1: I don't know why that's such a hard concept to
37:15
Speaker 1: accept for some folks, but the reality is they were exploited.
37:20
Speaker 1: They were brought in, this behavior was normalized, and then
37:23
Speaker 1: they were treated basically like they were in a harem.
37:29
Speaker 1: I didn't know the FBI began investigating Epstein in two
37:32
Speaker 1: thousand and five. I wish I had. I was recruited
37:36
Speaker 1: in two thousand and six by a woman I thought
37:38
Speaker 1: was my friend. She told me Epstein and Maxwell could
37:41
Speaker 1: help me get into fashion. I didn't know I'd have to,
37:44
Speaker 1: I'd have my passport and phone taken away. When I
37:47
Speaker 1: boarded Epstein's private plane to his island. He wasn't some
37:50
Speaker 1: old geezer in a bar saying come to my island.
37:53
Speaker 1: It was carefully scripted, a well oiled machine. This was
37:56
Speaker 1: a professional sex trafficking ring. Epstein and Max Well taught
38:00
Speaker 1: girls to recruit girls, women to recruit women. They knew
38:04
Speaker 1: what they were looking for, and that's all part of it.
38:07
Speaker 1: Right when you're brought in and you're groomed the way
38:10
Speaker 1: that these girls were groomed, all bets are off. You
38:15
Speaker 1: get stuck into this rut thinking that this is just
38:18
Speaker 1: the normalized way of life for people in the upper crust,
38:21
Speaker 1: and if you want to be part of it, you
38:22
Speaker 1: want to have that modeling gig, or you want to
38:25
Speaker 1: make big money doing insert job here, this is the
38:28
Speaker 1: way you have to behave, This is the way you
38:29
Speaker 1: have to conduct yourself. But the reality is it was
38:34
Speaker 1: all gas lighting and they were molding these girls into
38:38
Speaker 1: what they wanted them to be. You made this. I
38:42
Speaker 1: was born into a generationally dysfunctional family. Alcoholism runs in
38:47
Speaker 1: my family. I was first sexually abused when I was
38:50
Speaker 1: eleven by a man my mother brought home. At fourteen,
38:53
Speaker 1: I was raped by another student. All I've ever known
38:56
Speaker 1: is rape, abuse and trauma. Being a child like that,
39:00
Speaker 1: you don't know what's normal and what's not. Your boundaries
39:03
Speaker 1: are broken down, and that plays a huge part in
39:05
Speaker 1: it as well. If you've been abused your whole entire life,
39:08
Speaker 1: this is the normal behavior for you, and until that
39:12
Speaker 1: cycle is broken and you get to see something else,
39:16
Speaker 1: this is the way you live your life. And it's
39:19
Speaker 1: just like generational poverty. This is what you see your
39:23
Speaker 1: people doing, This is what you're ensconsdin. So this is
39:27
Speaker 1: what you're going to become. I was the perfect target,
39:32
Speaker 1: but even if you were from a good family, you
39:34
Speaker 1: could be snared. Several women over seventeen or eighteen who
39:38
Speaker 1: were abused by Epstein and Maxwell have stated that they
39:40
Speaker 1: were offered work as Victoria's secret models through a scouting
39:44
Speaker 1: agency run by Epstein's associate, Jean Luke Brunel. Both men
39:48
Speaker 1: were jailed on sex crime charges they denied and hanged
39:52
Speaker 1: themselves in prison while in custody awaiting trial. Just a coincidence, though,
39:57
Speaker 1: Everything that has to do with Epstein and the deaths
40:00
Speaker 1: around him, and the circumstances that led up to it,
40:03
Speaker 1: all of it is all coincidence. That's what they'll have
40:05
Speaker 1: you believe me. I'm not so sure. I haven't really
40:09
Speaker 1: come to a conclusion one way or another yet about
40:12
Speaker 1: the death of Jean Luke Brunel. I'm still gathering some
40:15
Speaker 1: facts here. But Epstein especially and the death in custody,
40:20
Speaker 1: I have a lot of questions that still have not
40:23
Speaker 1: been answered. People can judge survivors and say we should
40:28
Speaker 1: have done more to speak out, or that we should
40:30
Speaker 1: name more names. Doing so threatens a group of wealthy,
40:34
Speaker 1: well respected power brokers. With influential friends and lawyers trained
40:38
Speaker 1: to silence accusers, and this is the reality that they face.
40:42
Speaker 1: Everybody out there wants everybody to name names and do
40:45
Speaker 1: this and do that, But those people aren't the ones
40:48
Speaker 1: that have to live with this. They're not the ones
40:50
Speaker 1: that have to live with the constant attacks, the legal threats,
40:54
Speaker 1: and all the rest of it that the survivors face.
40:57
Speaker 1: So even coming out the way they have has been
41:00
Speaker 1: an example of what bravery looks like. I wouldn't wish
41:05
Speaker 1: this on anyone. I've had my dignity strip from me.
41:08
Speaker 1: I've had to question my own mind, my own thoughts.
41:11
Speaker 1: I have been ridiculed by lawyers and ignored by law enforcement.
41:15
Speaker 1: I tried to kill myself twice throughout this. The first
41:18
Speaker 1: time was when Epstein's lawyers, including Kenneth Starr and Alan Dershowitz,
41:22
Speaker 1: made a secret deal with Miami's US attorney, Alexander Acosta,
41:26
Speaker 1: that protected Epstein from federal charges and allowed him to
41:30
Speaker 1: work at his office during the day throughout his eighteen
41:33
Speaker 1: month sentence for state crimes. Acosta later became Trump's Labor secretary.
41:38
Speaker 1: And that whole entire thing was such a travesty of Justice.
41:42
Speaker 1: Epstein should have been in prison forever. Acosta should have
41:46
Speaker 1: never been the Labor secretary. But what about those above Acosta.
41:51
Speaker 1: I'm not giving those people a pass. Never will Mukazy
41:54
Speaker 1: and the rest of them. We're gonna be talking about
41:56
Speaker 1: you for a long time to come. I think a
42:01
Speaker 1: lot of survivors don't come forward because it's one thing
42:04
Speaker 1: for a stranger to judge you, but it's another when
42:06
Speaker 1: your loved one joins the victim shaming and law enforcement
42:10
Speaker 1: says you don't qualify as a victim because of your age.
42:13
Speaker 1: The retraumatization can undermine your efforts at recovery. I know
42:17
Speaker 1: it did mine, and for people out there who have
42:20
Speaker 1: never experienced trauma or drug abuse or whatever and have
42:24
Speaker 1: to go through recovery, when things happen, it can retrigger
42:28
Speaker 1: everything and cause an avalanche effect and make you relapse
42:31
Speaker 1: big time again. I've seen it with my own people before.
42:35
Speaker 1: I've had friends who were doing good for years, three, four,
42:38
Speaker 1: five years, something happens, they lose their mom, they lose
42:41
Speaker 1: their dad, whatever, and before you know it, they're back
42:44
Speaker 1: on the shit. Among all the survivors, only seven gay
42:49
Speaker 1: victim impact statements at the sentencing. Having the judge allow
42:53
Speaker 1: me to read mine in court, even though I didn't
42:55
Speaker 1: fall squarely within the contours of the charge conspiracy, and
42:59
Speaker 1: seeing Max Well sentenced was life changing. It went a
43:02
Speaker 1: long way to restoring the self worth and dignity that
43:05
Speaker 1: Epstein and Maxwell took from me. Look, this is a
43:09
Speaker 1: big deal, and this is why I've always pointed out
43:11
Speaker 1: that Maxwell getting arrested and convicted is a big deal,
43:15
Speaker 1: and at least some justice listen to what the survivors
43:19
Speaker 1: have to say about it, not what pundits have to say. Still,
43:24
Speaker 1: I do not think that justice has been completely served
43:27
Speaker 1: with Maxwell's sentencing. There are so many others involved in
43:30
Speaker 1: the crimes who have not been held accountable. No survivors
43:34
Speaker 1: should have to go through the journey from hell and
43:36
Speaker 1: back that I went through. That's why I wrote to
43:39
Speaker 1: all one hundred and fifty members of the New York
43:41
Speaker 1: State Assembly to urge passage of the Adult Survivors Act.
43:45
Speaker 1: I'm pleased they listened and passed the law. Now, survivors
43:49
Speaker 1: who were over eighteen when they were sexually assaulted can
43:52
Speaker 1: sue without defendants skirting away on the statute of limitations. Defense.
43:57
Speaker 1: Now look that's a good thing, right And if you
44:00
Speaker 1: have the evidence to prove that you were assaulted or
44:03
Speaker 1: something bad happened to you, you should be able to
44:06
Speaker 1: get some redress. This is not just about young girls.
44:11
Speaker 1: I can assure you every survivor of rape and trafficking
44:15
Speaker 1: deserves compassion. Your age, sex, gender, skin color, and class.
44:20
Speaker 1: They don't matter. What happened to me should never happen
44:23
Speaker 1: to another human being. My job now is to make
44:26
Speaker 1: sure others, victims, perpetrators, law enforcement, and society at large
44:32
Speaker 1: know that too. And guess what, Sarah, good for you
44:36
Speaker 1: taking it back. You're the power back for yourself like
44:38
Speaker 1: this and stepping up and telling these people that the
44:42
Speaker 1: party is not over for them, that if they think
44:44
Speaker 1: that they have won, they are wrong. And to those
44:47
Speaker 1: who are co conspirators or those who think they might
44:50
Speaker 1: have gotten away with something, you were wrong as well,
44:53
Speaker 1: because the full court press is still in full function.
45:00
Speaker 1: All right, folks, that's gonna do it for this episode.
