- 0:00So finally, when it came time around for I was like, you know
- 0:02what I want? I want the 3400.
- 0:03I want to get this mount that required a bit of work and that
- 0:07there were dungeons. I mean, again, pugging where
- 0:10groups just didn't time some of those sixteens.
- 0:12It took me about like a a reset week, really playing a few hours
- 0:16throughout throughout the week here and there to work on it
- 0:19gradually and then and then eventually time those and get
- 0:21it. It wasn't just a go in one shot.
- 0:24Hey, we're done. Victory for the Forsaken.
- 0:27For Lauderon. For the Karen Tour for Pandaria.
- 0:36For calendar. To the burning region, for
- 0:40Gilnaeus, for hath not done, for the Lynch King, for the
- 0:47Sindorai, for the Alliance, for the Horn, for Azeroth.
- 0:55Hello and welcome back to another episode of For Azeroth.
- 0:59I am one of the hosts, Manny AKA Truman.
- 1:02Manny and I am joined again by a special guest.
- 1:05So we do not have Lex, we do not have Sean, but we have Lyria.
- 1:09Lyria, how are you and how's the World of Warcraft been treating
- 1:12you this week? Hi, I'm doing very well.
- 1:15I'm absolutely loving midnight. I've been telling people like I
- 1:19really enjoyed the War Within, like enjoyed it, it was
- 1:22fantastic. But midnight for me has been
- 1:25even better. I I've absolutely loved it so
- 1:27far. What's been, what's been the
- 1:30high point for midnight that's been putting at that next level?
- 1:34Oh gosh, I think so. I told myself going into this
- 1:37season that it was going to be the season of ALTS for me
- 1:39because going back to probably like Legion and BFA, I, I used
- 1:45to have a lot of alts. Like I had my main and it would
- 1:47raid. It would do all, you know, all
- 1:48the weekly things. But I, I used to just, I feel
- 1:51like be known for playing alts and I moved away from that a
- 1:54little bit. And so this season, going to the
- 1:56expansion, I'm like, you know what, I'm going to slow down a
- 1:58bit, like still do all the things I normally do, but carve
- 2:01out time every week to make sure that I'm, I'm actually doing
- 2:04the, the delve season journey or I'm actually working on renown
- 2:08for cosmetics. And like just things like that,
- 2:10that make you really appreciate the smaller things in the game
- 2:13that aren't like the, the bigger like rating and, and chasing IO
- 2:17and, and mythic plus and things like that.
- 2:19I just really wanted to slow it down.
- 2:20And so far I've managed to accomplish that.
- 2:23And I think, I think that's helped a lot.
- 2:25That's amazing. That honestly sounds like the
- 2:27inverse of my journey. I got to ask you, when you're
- 2:31saying you're re re enlisted this army of alts, how many alts
- 2:35are we talking about here? Oh gosh.
- 2:38Well, so I have 5 characters total.
- 2:41One of them is technically my main, but I I still, I suppose
- 2:44that's still 5 characters. I used to play one of every
- 2:47healer and over the last couple of expansions that's kind of
- 2:51just been like my main and maybe one other healer.
- 2:54It has not been all of them. So what I've been trying to do,
- 2:58I should also say it's, it's excluding shaman.
- 3:00I'm, I'm so sorry for anyone who plays a shaman.
- 3:03I've never I'm so sorry. I it's the totems.
- 3:09I just I have such a hard time with the totems and I know
- 3:11everyone has told me that they've those are just kind of
- 3:14like scaled back on the totems. They're on it nearly as many as
- 3:16there used to be, you know, looking back at like Mop.
- 3:19But I that is still on my list because technically I can't say
- 3:22I play all the healers until shaman's leveled, but Hunter's
- 3:26also on my list. I finally learned how to play
- 3:29survival in the war within. Do you remember legion when they
- 3:33they turned it into a melee spec?
- 3:35I, the most I played in Legion as survival with that new spec
- 3:40was the mage tower. And even then I just pressed
- 3:42buttons that lit up and just kind of like hoped that
- 3:46everything would be fine. And then I finished the mage
- 3:47tower and I didn't touch it again.
- 3:49So anyway, Hunter's on my list though, because last expansion I
- 3:51actually sat down and learned how to play survival and it's so
- 3:54much fun. So that's, that's on my list
- 3:56coming up. But for now, for now it's it's 5
- 3:59characters. 5 characters OK honestly, because the buzzword,
- 4:04the word that has lost all meaning on this show is average.
- 4:07We have Sean who'll be like, Oh yeah, I'm, you know, I'm at
- 4:10average item level and that'll be like 280 something.
- 4:13And then Lex will be I'm at average item level or other
- 4:17people. And like what averages is of
- 4:19course different for all of us. So it's average.
- 4:24You're playing with a few alts and that happens to be 5.
- 4:27What when you said you're doing like, you know, the, the
- 4:31journey, your dungeon journey and everything.
- 4:34What item level are these? How are you playing?
- 4:37Do you have like separate roles for each of them?
- 4:41So my my rest or druid is the one I do.
- 4:43I do cutting edge rating on the rest or druid.
- 4:45I I made it every tier, every expansion.
- 4:47That's that's just my go to. That's always my main that I
- 4:50believe at the time of this recording, it's 283.
- 4:54It's but again, that's the character that it goes with the
- 4:56great every week. So that's the one that has the
- 4:58most gear. The other alts I try to do at
- 5:00least one key on them so that the very least, even if I end up
- 5:05taking a socket or whatever, I have one myth slot option in the
- 5:10vault every week. If I have, you know, if it's the
- 5:13weekend and we're coming down to the, you know, the heading
- 5:16toward Tuesday basically for reset, if I have more time, I
- 5:20will do, I'll pick maybe one or two alt healers and do more keys
- 5:24on them at least maybe like 4 because because then you want
- 5:27unlock 2 ball slots. They're all around 27270,
- 5:32something like maybe the low two 70s.
- 5:34So there I would say that there's about a 10 item level
- 5:37difference with the main and the alts.
- 5:38What I, what I used to do in, in BFA and it was a little bit
- 5:41easier because, you know, that was the COVID days, if a lot of,
- 5:44you know, most people were kind of at home and, you know, work
- 5:47schedules I think were a little bit different.
- 5:48So I had a lot more time back then.
- 5:50And what I tried to do was have my alts ready to step into
- 5:55mythic rating because that was always my focus for many years.
- 5:58And my Guild knew that, you know, if we for some reason lost
- 6:01a healer, they quit rating or we got to a boss fight on mythic
- 6:05and it needed a particular healer.
- 6:08You know, like for for example, like mythic mythic paladins
- 6:10right now in, in Voyd's Fire that a lot of most, most groups,
- 6:15I think bring a misweaver so that you can revival off the,
- 6:17the spell off the whole group, you know, situations like that.
- 6:21And so I like to have my alts very gradually, not a ton of
- 6:25pressure every week, but get to a point where if I needed to put
- 6:28a little bit, you know, 110% into 1 alt for a week, it could
- 6:33step into mythic at any point. I haven't had to do that, but
- 6:38you know, it's fun to switch it up.
- 6:41OK, that's very cool that you are both specialized in healing,
- 6:45but also a Swiss army knife where you can like pop any of
- 6:47those things out of your roster when needed.
- 6:52OK, so then you of course have done Mythic plus at one point.
- 6:59You were pushing really hard. For those who don't know you,
- 7:01that are just having introduction to you, what's your
- 7:03history with Mythic Plus and Keystones?
- 7:07I guess my more immediate history is that I I made a
- 7:12wrestler dirt and I I push relatively high mythic.
- 7:14Plus I have achieved the 0.1% title one time one season and
- 7:22that was season 3 of Dragonflights fairly recently in
- 7:25a way the a season immediately after that.
- 7:28I was exactly 50 points off of title that season and that was
- 7:33unfortunate and I'm sure we'll get to it at some point.
- 7:35I, I often pug my keys, you know, so I whenever I talk about
- 7:39high mythic plus it's not like I have a, a pre made group ready,
- 7:43ready and waiting to go. It's I, I for the last several
- 7:46years have always pugged a tank, for example, always and I've
- 7:50always pugged usually one DPS. So it kind of, it kind of
- 7:56depends. Before that though, I I should
- 7:57also mention that up until Dragonflight I used to only do
- 8:03whatever the weekly key would be.
- 8:05So weekly key meaning like the lowest key level you need to do
- 8:08to unlock the highest item level from your vault.
- 8:11So in this case, right now in midnight season one, that would
- 8:14be a 10. It unlocks A myth myth level
- 8:18gear from your vault. I used to only do that and then
- 8:22in Dragonflight that's when things shifted a little bit and
- 8:25I started to do higher, higher and higher keys.
- 8:29OK, so let's focus in on that. Like what was involved in making
- 8:33that shift from going and saying like, OK, I'm going to get the
- 8:36highest reward and since nothing I don't get anything extra from
- 8:41from going beyond to I'm going to be in the top .1% and push
- 8:47and push on that. And I, I also do want to say I'm
- 8:50really sorry for missing the point 1% by 50.
- 8:53That's that's got to hurt. That took that, that was
- 8:56painful. That took a little while to get
- 8:58Oh, and and it it was, it was painful, I think because when
- 9:02you're pugging it, it just, I mean, a, a friend and I were
- 9:05pugging together. It was a it was DPS and I were,
- 9:08were queuing up in LFG, the season 4 Dragonflight.
- 9:11And it got to the point where even just listing it wasn't even
- 9:14like we were playing that queue simulator that people talk about
- 9:16where you, you know, you, you go up for a key D list, D list, D
- 9:19decline, D list, you know, decline.
- 9:21It wasn't it wasn't even that we would list our own key.
- 9:24We would try to push our and we were not finding people with
- 9:31comparable experience. And, and what I mean by that,
- 9:33because it's not meant to come across as a oh, we're excluding
- 9:36people. It's more like when you, for
- 9:38example, right now, the time of this recording, I believe title
- 9:41range is right around plus A + 19.
- 9:45At the time when we were, we missed it by 50 points.
- 9:48It would be like if you were putting up a + 19 key into LFG,
- 9:52but having people with a + 14 + 14 experience queuing up.
- 9:56There's a big difference. There's a big jump between a +
- 9:5815 and a + 19. The damage itself, just the
- 10:01numbers are quite different and there's a little bit of, there's
- 10:05a bit more understanding involved when you're kind of
- 10:09jumping out, You know, I don't, I don't even, I wouldn't even
- 10:11jump from like a 14 to a 16. You know, I would, I would jump
- 10:14into a 15 instead, personally. And so at the time, and those
- 10:17numbers I'm throwing out are just an example, at the time it
- 10:19was just really difficult to find somebody who knew the
- 10:22dungeons because my friend and I had been pucking and pucking and
- 10:26pucking till for like 2 weeks straight.
- 10:27We sit up till, oh gosh, do I tell you this, We stayed up to
- 10:32about 3 or 4 in the morning for two weeks straight.
- 10:35I had some time off of work and we were like, you know what,
- 10:36this is the big push. We're just going to go and and
- 10:39attempt to get title. It's toward the end of the
- 10:41season. And we had seen the dungeons
- 10:44over and over and over and over again.
- 10:46We knew the routes, we knew the polls.
- 10:47And so part of pugging and I might be getting a little bit
- 10:51off topic of your original. No, no, this is all wonderful.
- 10:54Part of pugging is you. You don't know who you're going
- 10:58to get, like what their experience level is.
- 11:00And so again, going back to those numbers where when you see
- 11:02somebody in their highest key is, you know, couple key levels
- 11:05below what you're trying to do, there is that there's that gap
- 11:09in experience where it gets a little bit tricky.
- 11:13And when you only have X amount of hours a day to attempt
- 11:17something, it becomes this question where like, OK, well,
- 11:20do you, do you try to team up with somebody and you know,
- 11:23maybe they're going to stay. They, they might not even want
- 11:24to stay in your group. You know, they already have a
- 11:27group, but maybe they're, they're queuing up because they
- 11:29have an hour to kill. And then, you know, we ran into
- 11:32that a lot as well, where people couldn't commit to our group,
- 11:35but just wanted to do a key here and there.
- 11:38You, you just, you never know what people's experience levels
- 11:41are going to be. And it just, it made it really
- 11:42tricky to kind of match up that experience level.
- 11:45And I think in general, I should also mention, because I, again,
- 11:47I'm not trying to come come across it as, you know, you have
- 11:51to has to be the same, you know, experience level has to be the
- 11:54exact same IO, because that's, that's not the case either.
- 11:58I have, I've brought in DPS friends before who didn't really
- 12:01have a ton of experience, but needed to see the dungeons, knew
- 12:05their class really well and just needed to know, Oh, this is when
- 12:07I pop a defensive or this is when, you know, they kind of
- 12:10learn, you know, you spend a few days, a week or two, you know,
- 12:13and, and they kind of get into this rhythm.
- 12:16We've tried that before, but I think sometimes you fall into a
- 12:19little bit of a time crunch where you're just kind of
- 12:22looking for somebody who has approximately, you know, a key
- 12:25level or two difference than what you're trying to to time.
- 12:30OK, No, that is that's a lot of things that you touched on there
- 12:34that I was going to hopefully get to in the future.
- 12:37But I do love that. So I bear with me.
- 12:40I want to pick apart just just some of that so.
- 12:42I tend to keep going. I love talking about Mythic
- 12:44plus. No, this is wonderful.
- 12:47This is great. I mean like that's just front
- 12:50loaded information. I hope all the people listening
- 12:52to this are are thankful that they are getting all this
- 12:54because I'm enjoying this a lot. But again, you were pugging it
- 13:00to get to that point and you have gone into the point 1%
- 13:04through this mean. So it is possible as you said,
- 13:07obviously as you're pugging the confidence that you have in what
- 13:11in who you're bringing is like different because you haven't
- 13:14worked with these people. What I would like to ask you
- 13:17about is as you are preparing yourself, or if you are looking
- 13:23for other people to prepare, what are the things that they
- 13:25could do to like give themselves the best chance of not being the
- 13:30person where that confidence was betrayed, I guess.
- 13:34So that, that reminds me, because I think I've answered
- 13:36part of your question before, and I think part of your
- 13:39question a moment ago was how do you, how do you go from doing a
- 13:44+ 10, for example, like just trying to fill up your vault and
- 13:47to the 0.1% range or, or possibly just under like 50
- 13:53points? I had just joined a Guild and
- 13:57this is connected to the confidence piece.
- 13:58I just joined a new rating Guild.
- 14:00I had taken the first couple of Ray tears off in Dragonflight
- 14:03and in this new rating Guild, there was a Windwalker monk And,
- 14:07and they were, he was very, he's very, I'm still friends with
- 14:09him. He's very nice.
- 14:10And he had reached out to me pretty, pretty early on when I
- 14:13joined the Guild and he said, hey, beginning of the season,
- 14:17are you interested in pushing keys?
- 14:18I asked the Guild every season, hey, does anyone want to push
- 14:22keys? I'm never going to need takers.
- 14:23You're new. Would you like to do this?
- 14:25And I had never had anyone asked me that before.
- 14:28And I was like, you know what? Sure, why not?
- 14:30Because if this person also doesn't have a ton of experience
- 14:34pushing keys and I don't have a ton of experience, then at least
- 14:37that confidence level, it made me feel it was a little bit more
- 14:40comforting knowing that if I make a mistake, this person
- 14:43isn't, they don't have high, super high expectations for me
- 14:48because they're also learning it in a way.
- 14:51I think they had a little bit more experience than I did
- 14:54because they had tried to push higher before, not at the title
- 14:58range, but it it felt nice one knowing that it was someone in
- 15:02the Guild, someone that yes, well, I had just met them a
- 15:04little bit. They had been in the Guild for a
- 15:07long time. Obviously the Guild, the Guild,
- 15:09trust them. They have a ton of friends
- 15:10there. It's always nice, you know, when
- 15:12someone sticks around for a while.
- 15:15And then it was also nice to be asked to want to do this, want
- 15:19to learn, want to just have fun. There were no goals from the
- 15:23beginning to, to hit title or even even the, the 1% range.
- 15:27It was, hey, let's just do this for fun in our free time.
- 15:30We'll push keys, we'll see what we can do.
- 15:33And so the confidence piece, it took me a long time to get that,
- 15:37even even with playing with somebody who I knew.
- 15:42I remember the first key I did that season by myself without
- 15:46this Windwalker monk who was there to kind of like not quite
- 15:50hold my hand, but you to be there as like a comforting
- 15:52person that you know. And I was terrified.
- 15:57I remember, oh gosh, it was, it was dark heart thicket.
- 16:02I remember that. And that dungeon in particular,
- 16:04if anybody else played that season or you remember it from
- 16:07Legion, there are cats at the beginning of that dungeon as
- 16:11you're, you're kind of going down this very windy road and
- 16:14the cats leap and they and they, they do a bleed.
- 16:16You know, there's also birds there.
- 16:17The birds screech. There's, there's a ton of a weed
- 16:19damage. And I remember signing up for
- 16:22this key level and it was a, it was a score key for me.
- 16:26Like I hadn't timed it at that level.
- 16:27And I was terrified. I remember sitting here in this
- 16:30chair with my heart racing. It's kind of like when you're
- 16:32watching a scary movie and you know something bad is about to
- 16:34happen and your heart just starts racing and racing.
- 16:36And then you can feel your like your face is like getting kind
- 16:38of hot and you're like, what is the best, you know, And you're
- 16:41still on the edge of your seat. That's how I felt going into
- 16:44this key. And on that pull on that winding
- 16:49Rd. we, we basically bricked the key in a way.
- 16:54I mean, it was a high enough key where we just kept wiping over
- 16:56and over a week where we're not getting past those packs.
- 16:58And the, the person whose key it was, was like, all right, Gigi,
- 17:01nice try, but nobody yelled, nobody said anything.
- 17:06Nobody. They just said, you know, Gigi,
- 17:08you know, NT a nice try. And then and then everybody
- 17:10left. And I think some of the
- 17:13confidence comes from the confidence piece is knowing
- 17:18that, telling myself that this is this is the Internet, yes,
- 17:22it's an MMO, yes, you're playing with other people.
- 17:25Yes, I'm going to make mistakes. You're going to make people
- 17:28watching this are going to make this.
- 17:29Everybody makes mistakes and the people.
- 17:34And again, I think this is easier to maybe say or maybe
- 17:36easier to hear than it is to kind of like take it to heart
- 17:39and actually like, you know, remember it, including myself
- 17:43when there are people who maybe do make comments like for at the
- 17:47end of that poll, for example, if that group had kind of gone
- 17:50off on me and been like, where are the heels?
- 17:53You know, like tanks and healers are always blamed for things or
- 17:56hunter pets, you know, and even if they had done that, I think
- 18:01the more important thing to remember is why, why did the
- 18:06pole fail? Because it's not just a oh,
- 18:10healer didn't press buttons kind of issue.
- 18:13It's OK. Well, when the screech went off,
- 18:16did the hunter use a defensive? Did the mage pop mass barrier?
- 18:22Was somebody sitting on a healthstone available to use and
- 18:25didn't and then bled out to a bleed?
- 18:27You know, there are a lot of things.
- 18:28Did the tank lose aggro on a mob and it went and one shot the
- 18:32rogue? You know, something like that.
- 18:35I try to remember those moments and I try to not focus on the
- 18:39negativity because I think if it's if somebody who is going to
- 18:43kind of fly off the handle like that, it's someone who's not
- 18:46looking at the key in an analytical way, trying to figure
- 18:50out why it wiped. They're just throwing out
- 18:52insults because they're ticked off, you know.
- 18:56So another long winded answer of explaining, you know, the, the
- 18:59confidence piece takes time, but it also kind of takes this
- 19:03mindset where you kind of do need a little bit of thick skin
- 19:07on the Internet. You know, whether you're whether
- 19:09it's on a pocket, you know, or you're streaming or, or you're
- 19:12just playing, playing a key, right?
- 19:15And you're, you know, it's not even broadcasted or anything.
- 19:18You're just, you're logging in. It's just your character knowing
- 19:22that, you know, even if you did make a mistake, you forgot to,
- 19:26you forgot to iron bark the tank or, or whatever it was, it's
- 19:30just a mistake. And now you know, hey, the in
- 19:32the next key, the tank needs iron bark on the pole or, or
- 19:35whatever it might be. Even in those negative moments,
- 19:39it's always a learning experience.
- 19:42The negativity that can come from from pug groups and such,
- 19:46focusing on the analytics, focusing on trying to improve.
- 19:50I like that When you are moving to these higher key levels, are
- 19:55there like things that people should be on the lookout for?
- 19:59Are there like points where you're like, hey, now that
- 20:01you're here, maybe you should be paying attention to this more
- 20:04than you were before? Yeah, actually there's a dungeon
- 20:08this season at midnight that comes to mind, and it's Win
- 20:11Runner Spire, the very last boss in that dungeon.
- 20:16There are, I always call them feathers.
- 20:21I don't know if they're they're they're the little feathers that
- 20:23drop on the ground. I don't know what else to call
- 20:24them. I think it's a feather because
- 20:25it, it kind of boosts you up into the air.
- 20:30So you get everybody gets a debuff at some point and it,
- 20:33it's, it's ticking damage on you unless you go and grab one of
- 20:36those again, we'll call it a feather and it, it kind of
- 20:39throws you up into the air. It gets it gets rid of that dot
- 20:42though. I think on on lower keys people
- 20:47don't notice the damage as much, but on higher keys that ticks a
- 20:51lot. And let's say the entire group
- 20:52does not clear it. That's a lot of extra healing
- 20:55stress on your healer while they're also dealing with other
- 21:00other mechanics that are that are going on on that fight.
- 21:03My hunter that I play with did them.
- 21:05I am not a numbers person by the way.
- 21:06I was an English undergrad, so I have not fact checked if I have
- 21:09not done the numbers myself. But he did the numbers one day
- 21:13and it was roughly at, at a particular key level, something
- 21:16like 6060, something extra percent of healing that the the
- 21:20healer has to do on people. If you don't clear that on a, on
- 21:23a high enough key, because I guess there's a couple different
- 21:26ways of thinking about it. Let's say you have two out of
- 21:30your three DPS or melee. Or let's say even all three,
- 21:33maybe all three are are melee. There's this one argument where
- 21:37you know you're having melee, run away from the boss, grab it,
- 21:41get thrown up in the air. That's DPS that's not on the
- 21:44boss. You're not DPS ING the boss at
- 21:45that point. But also it's a little bit of a
- 21:51of a trade off because you also risk people dying.
- 21:54The healer might not be able to heal.
- 21:56I mean, we're talking like high like hierarchies.
- 21:58I'd say anything above like a like a 13, maybe 13 or 14.
- 22:01I think it's when you really should start considering
- 22:04clearing it. It depends is, is somebody going
- 22:08to die to that they're going to get too low it, you know, you
- 22:10just run into these risks and now and now someone might be
- 22:13dead because they didn't, they didn't clear it, you know, So
- 22:16it's that's one example that comes to mind because I think
- 22:20when, when you're entering and for a long time, I didn't know
- 22:22that again until I got to a hierarchy and realized, oh,
- 22:25we're supposed to be clearing this.
- 22:26You know, I have people who watch my stream, you know,
- 22:29sometimes if I'm doing that dungeon and they ask me, hey,
- 22:32why, why are you having everyone clear that?
- 22:33Because they also don't know. It's those little things.
- 22:36I think there might be mechanics in certain dungeons, either on
- 22:40the trash or on certain fights where you don't notice it as
- 22:43much on like a a 10/11/12, maybe even sometimes a 13 until you
- 22:50get to the the higher keys. And you also start to see
- 22:53overlaps maybe. And you start to see, OK, if
- 22:55there's two mechanics happening at the same time, there's two
- 22:58overlaps. This this one that I thought
- 23:02wasn't really anything actually does hurt a lot.
- 23:04You know, like in their example in Winrunner is the the bird
- 23:08boss, right? The firebird boss.
- 23:10Well, the fire swirls, I'm sure, you know, like you're.
- 23:11Yeah, you're not. You're like, Oh yeah, I know the
- 23:13boss people. When you run out a swirl, the
- 23:17boss selects 2 people. You have to run it out.
- 23:19It drops a tornado basically that does a lot of damage to
- 23:24people. And if you're playing a healer
- 23:27and you're and you're the one who gets it, you're running,
- 23:29which means that you're not healing yourself and you're not
- 23:31healing the other person who gets it.
- 23:33And you'll notice really quickly that, oh man, this, this
- 23:36particular mechanic, this hurts. This is a this is a dot.
- 23:40This is damage that I didn't notice before because it was
- 23:43lower key. So I think it it really just
- 23:46comes with repetition and and seeing it because there are
- 23:49certain spells, debuffs, mechanics, fights, even overall
- 23:54dungeons that are easier on some healers than there than there
- 23:57are others. OK, so I think a lot of this is
- 24:04actually getting into the dungeons, doing those dungeons,
- 24:06pushing yourself, not only just because you learn and you can
- 24:12like, I guess ingrain that information into your head.
- 24:16It the example you gave is actually kind of perfect.
- 24:19Because I, when I ran my first 13 in Windrunner Spire, I had
- 24:25two, two people who mentioned me and said you may not be ready
- 24:28for a 13. You weren't paying attention to
- 24:30this and this. And so, like I, I know that you
- 24:34may not be ready for a 13 is a harsh thing.
- 24:38And so I, I had to like, you know, have that thick skin
- 24:41you're, you're saying, but the fact that they pointed out
- 24:43exactly what the things that I had missed was was incredibly
- 24:47helpful. So one, removing that dot it
- 24:51from like just being shot up from I think it's arrows on that
- 24:54last boss, but whatever, we'll call them feathers.
- 24:57And yeah, the fire plumes or the fact that the undead boss, that
- 25:02is a curse. So as a shaman, I can get rid of
- 25:05that in my DPS spec and not have to worry about it being chased.
- 25:08All those little things that like once you've played it and
- 25:12then you know what you and in your particular specs slash cost
- 25:16can handle uniquely means that you're just that much better
- 25:21prepared as things become way closer.
- 25:24And I think you gave that a great example of the fire
- 25:28tornadoes because the fire tornado may not kill you on its
- 25:31own, but it may leave you so vulnerable to at the point that
- 25:35it combines with something else and just ends you.
- 25:38And so like, the issue wasn't what exactly killed you, but
- 25:41what you could have done to put yourself in a position where you
- 25:44wouldn't have been killed by that.
- 25:45And I love, I love that you're giving all these examples that
- 25:49just sort of meld in this season in particular, we have the new
- 25:573400 rating to get a saddle. We also have aside from the
- 26:04point 1% title push, we have a 1% new milestone to hit.
- 26:09Do you think that these are needed to bridge that gap from
- 26:14just doing doing what you needed for your vault to like getting
- 26:18people to go higher at what do you think that this is like a
- 26:22good thing overall? But what are you?
- 26:24What's your take on this? I've seen a couple of different
- 26:27takes. My mine personally is I think
- 26:31having more incentives for people to continue to push past
- 26:35the Keystone Legends, which is which is all I believe all or
- 26:38three 3K rather, which is mostly twelves.
- 26:42I think it's really good to have incentives like that.
- 26:44However, I have seen other takes where people are saying, well,
- 26:47now there's FOMO. I don't do plus sixteens.
- 26:51And for the most part you, you need mostly sixteens or, or all
- 26:54sixteens to get 3400. And that's, I'm not going to
- 27:00lie, because I, I just got that at the time of this recording, a
- 27:03couple weeks prior to this, I, I kind of took the first couple
- 27:06weeks off and I didn't remember the 55 volts.
- 27:08So I focused on, on, you know, the plus 10's and, and gearing
- 27:11those up. So finally when it came time
- 27:13around for, I was like, you know what, I want, I want the 3400.
- 27:15I want to get this mount that required a bit of work and that
- 27:19there were dungeons. I mean, again, pugging where
- 27:22groups just didn't time some of those sixteens.
- 27:24It took me about like a a reset week, really playing a few hours
- 27:28throughout throughout the week here and there to work on it
- 27:31gradually and then and then eventually time those and get
- 27:33it. It wasn't just a go in one shot.
- 27:36Hey, we're done. And so I understand that take as
- 27:40well where people are saying, hey, I don't normally do
- 27:44sixteens. Now I have to spend all this
- 27:46extra time this season working toward that.
- 27:50But I also think, you know, I guess, I guess that same
- 27:54argument or similar argument maybe is that usually the last
- 28:01boss of a Mythic Ray tier will drop a mount.
- 28:04Now it's not every tier, but several mounts usually drop off
- 28:08a final mythic boss every every expansion.
- 28:11And yes, while that mount is still technically there, it just
- 28:14drops down in percent usually. You know, instead of having like
- 28:183 guaranteed drop it I I think it's like a 1% or or maybe even
- 28:22lower. It's somewhere around in that
- 28:24range. You know, I think having all
- 28:27season to work toward a + 16, I think A+ plus sixteens are much
- 28:31different than finding a group of 20 people and then rating
- 28:34every single week for two to three nights a week every week.
- 28:38You know, it's, it's a lot different.
- 28:39I think the plus 16 is a little bit more accessible because you,
- 28:42you can puck it. It is only for other people in
- 28:45addition to yourself. And I think you, you just, you
- 28:49have the entire season to work for that.
- 28:51So I do think it's good. I do hear both takes.
- 28:54I think for many years, people who were already kind of in that
- 28:58range were already saying, Hey, I, I don't, I'm not quite at the
- 29:02point 1% range, but I also don't get anything for doing this.
- 29:05Like I like the challenge of pushing keys, but I don't get
- 29:09anything from it. The only thing I get is this
- 29:10like personal satisfaction that I'm doing challenging content
- 29:13either with pugs or with friends and it's fun.
- 29:15You know that, that difficulty, I think I think it's good and I
- 29:22think it's an interesting concept that they have.
- 29:24You know, you, you basically get a token, it's this currency
- 29:27token and you can go and you can spend it on, I believe it's past
- 29:32KSM mounts from previous expansions.
- 29:34But then they also have 6 new mounts that you can get.
- 29:39So I guess the one, the one piece of feedback I do have
- 29:41about it is that like for me, I have 6 different mounts to
- 29:44choose from and I just, I always freeze up in general when it
- 29:48comes to a decision like that where I'm like, I can only pick
- 29:50one. You know, I remember back in
- 29:52Mop, if, if you, if you played Mop back in the challenge mode
- 29:56dungeons, when you timed them all on silver, right, there was
- 30:00like the bronze, silver and the gold.
- 30:03When you timed them all on a silver, you got access to the
- 30:06mounts and they were these gorgeous phoenixes.
- 30:08And you could only pick one unless you did it on multiple
- 30:12characters. And then the next character
- 30:14could pick a different color and then the third one would pick
- 30:15the third color, you know, and so on.
- 30:17And then eventually they just, they unlocked all four colors if
- 30:19you, if you unlocked it at the time.
- 30:20But even back then I remember thinking, oh, no, OK, I have to
- 30:23pick wisely. I feel that now.
- 30:25So the one piece of advice I have is, Oh my gosh, why do we
- 30:27have six options? I mean, I think three of them
- 30:32are shredder mounts of different huge so but yeah, I I get that.
- 30:39And I, I remember so little bit of deep lore before I was doing
- 30:45any podcasting or anything. I was also working on those
- 30:48those challenge modes back in Mr. Pandaria.
- 30:50That was I was actually healing on Resto Shaman, the one that.
- 30:54You don't like, I'm so sorry. Oh, it's OK.
- 30:58I actually have not healed in many years.
- 31:02Definitely not main healing. I love pushing and getting those
- 31:06rewards. And even though they gave all of
- 31:09the mounts, you only get the transmog on characters that had
- 31:13done that and that, that's another thing that's unique.
- 31:16So I always hated that. I was like, oh man, I'm missing
- 31:18out. And I don't want to like go
- 31:21through all the effort of like creating a different character
- 31:24of each class just so I can get that trans blog.
- 31:26I guess I'm missing out. I understand.
- 31:30I'm always a person who doesn't feel FOMO in that same way.
- 31:36I like, yes, it's like, oh, I guess I'm missing out.
- 31:39But also isn't it cool that as a shaman, man, I have that thing
- 31:44and that's for shamans. It's not just I did it on any
- 31:47character. So I I like that prestige as a
- 31:53relative quality to the exclusiveness.
- 31:57But yeah, I feel like the amounts that they added, the new
- 32:03ones that they did, they're recolors of previous ones.
- 32:07I want to see how quickly they rotate the selection.
- 32:12Like if we get into next season and those six mounts completely
- 32:16change, I'm going to like call foul on that.
- 32:20But if they stick around so that we get through like let's say
- 32:24three seasons of this and we can pick up half of them, that would
- 32:29feel OK before they wrote. And I wouldn't want them to
- 32:31rotate them all. I they rotate some of them and
- 32:34then you're like, OK, great. Like I can eventually get all of
- 32:37these. So it is a it is a matter of
- 32:40like how quickly, how quickly they stuff these back in the
- 32:44Disney vault. It's a Disney vault.
- 32:47I love that. Oh, yeah, no, every time, Every
- 32:51time I think about artificial scarcity, it is the Disney vault
- 32:55that I think of as the paradigm. So we're looking for these
- 32:58things. Therefore, there is a bit of
- 32:59FOMO involved. But when I am going, because I
- 33:05am at the situation where you're at, I did my like twelves.
- 33:09I wanted to get my KSL so that I got everything.
- 33:12And now there's more things that are out there that I want to
- 33:16get. And So what resources could I or
- 33:18people like me look at to say like, OK, now that I'm making
- 33:22this shift, what can I, what can I do to like, give myself the
- 33:26most I can without just beating my head against the wall until I
- 33:29get it? The advice I have it's, it's the
- 33:32same advice I gave. You know it again.
- 33:33I, I keep going to back to dragonflakes.
- 33:35That's when I started and and I I streamed the progress really
- 33:40it's when I came back to streaming and I just so happened
- 33:42to kind of start doing mythic plus and then people kind of
- 33:44started watching and then it. So anyways, the advice that I
- 33:48have always given this is this is exactly what I followed back
- 33:51in Dragonflight is so I when I'm not streaming, I usually have a
- 33:58stream up. It's it's, it's often why I see
- 34:00even Cory stream right. And you know, we're in and other
- 34:03streams as well. I always have a stream up,
- 34:05whether I'm like actively sitting here and talking in chat
- 34:07or I have it up in the background.
- 34:08I'm working on something else. But I that also means that I'm
- 34:11always watching other other restaurants who are doing
- 34:14similar key levels as B or higher.
- 34:17And I, even if, again, I'm not sitting here for hours on end
- 34:22watching every single key, I might TuneIn or I might see that
- 34:26let's say they're doing winrunner.
- 34:27Let's say I'm having a difficult time in winrunner.
- 34:28And I see that they're doing that because it's live and most
- 34:32people streaming they're, they're going to, they, they
- 34:34want questions, right? They're going to interact.
- 34:35I, I don't know why else you would be streaming it if you
- 34:38didn't actually want to be interacting with people, right?
- 34:40So it, what I've always done. I ask questions, I ask a ton of
- 34:45questions. I, you know, I think back to a
- 34:48tall Dizar, which was Abfa dungeon and then they, they
- 34:51brought it back and there were some mobs.
- 34:53Oh gosh, was this, I think this was also maybe it was a
- 34:57dragonflight. I think it's when they brought
- 34:58it back. There were some mobs that had an
- 35:00enrage. And I asked another rester
- 35:03druid. I said, I noticed that you're
- 35:04not soothing those mobs as, as a rester druid, Why?
- 35:08Why are you not soothing them at this point?
- 35:111% key level? Like wouldn't when they leap at
- 35:13you, they're in rage. That leap is going to do a ton
- 35:17of damage. And at the at the time this
- 35:19person said, well, if it's just not worth the the GCD, you know,
- 35:23we have these triants. You can drop a triant, go back
- 35:25into melee. The triant will and this
- 35:27involves a little bit of tech, but the mobs would jump to the
- 35:30triant that you dropped outside of melee instead of at the
- 35:33players. So that frees up, you know, you
- 35:35don't have to use a GCD soothing all these different mobs.
- 35:37And there were things like that, just little things like that.
- 35:42I remember something else. I, I don't know if I had
- 35:46mentioned this in season 4 of Dragonfly.
- 35:48It was, it was very last season of that expansion.
- 35:50I participated in team, Team Liquid E sports organization.
- 35:56They offered a mythic plus tournament for marginalized
- 36:02genders. And I, my team came in second
- 36:04place in that tournament, which was super, super exciting.
- 36:08But I remember spending weeks and weeks and weeks and weeks
- 36:13training, training like like this is football practicing,
- 36:17practicing these key levels. Because of the time the the
- 36:19tournament realm was open, the Blizzard had, I think it must
- 36:23have been MDI that maybe was, was coming up soon.
- 36:26And even if we weren't participating MDI, we were able
- 36:28to log on to the the tournament realm.
- 36:31So you get to create your key level, you get to decide the
- 36:34affix you want to practice and all this stuff.
- 36:37I would do that. And and we were practicing Ruby
- 36:39life pulls. So here's another example and
- 36:41Ruby life pulls. I believe it was an 18 or a 19
- 36:43that we were practicing and that season nineteens and some 20s,
- 36:48if I remember correctly, were title range.
- 36:50So it was a really high key. The damage was really high.
- 36:54And that very first boss, the boss at, Oh gosh, the very, the
- 36:59very first boss of, of Ruby life poles there, there's a cadence
- 37:03to it. It's a very like rinse and
- 37:04repeat. But you have to know how to
- 37:05handle all those mechanics because it's like 1 hard hitting
- 37:08mechanic into the next hard hitting mechanic.
- 37:11And you are going to run out of defenses if you use them, if you
- 37:14try to use them for everything back-to-back to back.
- 37:16You had to space everything out. And I was having a hard time
- 37:21healing that successfully, like consistently, you know, we would
- 37:25go and we killed that boss. Everything's great.
- 37:26The next time we practice that dungeon, oh, we all flop over.
- 37:29We have to reset the dungeon because I couldn't heal through
- 37:31it. And so I remember reaching out
- 37:32to another wrestler, Druid at the time, who on the live
- 37:35servers had already timed that key.
- 37:37And I said, hey, here's our cop. This is what we're running for
- 37:40this for this tournament. What do you do with your healing
- 37:44cooldowns and with the available externals and group defensives
- 37:48in your group? Those are the kinds of questions
- 37:50that if someone is looking to get into higher keys, Those are
- 37:55the questions I think you should be asking if you see that there
- 37:57is a pain point in either a particular dungeon or a
- 38:01particular fight or a particular trash pole in a dungeon talking
- 38:06to other people because they basically sent me at the time it
- 38:09was method raid tools or Exorsus raid tools for those who used it
- 38:12back and wand Exorsus and he sent me his basically his
- 38:17cooldown list. Hey, I use convoke at this
- 38:19point. We you, you know, the warlock
- 38:22uses unending resolve for this one with the timestamps of the
- 38:25fight. It was very similar to it felt
- 38:26like rating in a way where you're mapping out this like 8
- 38:29minute fight, you know, and, and whose cooldowns are being used
- 38:31where. And obviously this level of, of,
- 38:36of detail is much different than when you're trying to go, let's
- 38:40say from like a 12 + 12 to like plus 13 or plus 14 range.
- 38:45But it's this idea that you're reaching out to other people,
- 38:48you're watching people stream. And again, long winded answer,
- 38:51but something else following this up that I that I did 'cause
- 38:55I one day I was like, who, who do I watch?
- 38:57Like, where do I find these people who are doing these keys?
- 38:59I got Larry is over there telling me to like, you know, go
- 39:03and watch another major's time or whatever class you play.
- 39:06Where do you find those people? I found them on Raider IOI just
- 39:09stumbled across this. So that season that I was like,
- 39:13oh, hey, we're pushing, we're pushing higher keys now.
- 39:14I have no idea what I'm doing. I went to Raider IO and they you
- 39:18can sort, there's a list of of players.
- 39:22Basically it's based on their score and you can organize it by
- 39:25spec and class. So obviously I went into the
- 39:29rest or Druids and I looked at the long, long list of people
- 39:31and in that long list it will you can.
- 39:36I'm trying to remember now because this is a couple years
- 39:38ago. Either in that list immediately
- 39:40it will show you if they stream, it'll have like a little icon or
- 39:45honestly, just start clicking on random names.
- 39:46Click on I I don't know. It doesn't even have to be the
- 39:48top 10 if you don't get, you know, or click on, though it
- 39:50could be halfway down the list or at the bottom part of the
- 39:53list. Click on some names, go to their
- 39:56radar IO profile and the people who link their twitch to their
- 40:00profile, you can just click on that and it'll bring you right
- 40:03to their twitch page. So again, this is a little bit
- 40:05of research. I should mention I'm also a
- 40:08librarian. I, I do a lot of information
- 40:10organization and, and maybe this is this is what gave me the
- 40:13idea, but I just remember spending an afternoon going
- 40:17through following all these different restor druids and that
- 40:20way I could get the notifications when they were
- 40:22live on twitch. Go and watch them.
- 40:24And then from there you start, you start asking them questions.
- 40:28Even if you're maybe a little trepidatious about asking the
- 40:31questions, just watching what they're doing, maybe you can
- 40:33glean something from that. And as you said, these are
- 40:36streamers. They want to interact with the
- 40:38audience. So like, they they not only
- 40:43value your question, they're almost like begging for it
- 40:47without actually asking. So like, yeah, I I do love that.
- 40:51So you've got the radar IO to find people that you can use as
- 40:55resources. And like, I also think that one
- 40:59thing to highlight from what you were saying is that like knowing
- 41:03where your pain point is and be like, OK, this is a pain point.
- 41:06So you can focus on that rather than be like, how do I deal with
- 41:09this dungeon? Which is not a good question to
- 41:12bring to anybody, let alone a streamer in the middle of
- 41:14things. Knowing like what how do you
- 41:16handle this fight? That is that's a big thing as
- 41:18well. I love that.
- 41:21Has being a librarian helped you in other things in Warcraft just
- 41:25because you brought that up? I, I think so I, I've always
- 41:30been pretty good about research and just sorting through
- 41:33information. I'm a pretty organized person to
- 41:35begin with and it's kind of why my content on, you know, on
- 41:40stream, but also the other projects that I do like I, I
- 41:43edit the, the raid guides on mythic trap, for example.
- 41:46Mythic trap is now managed by Warcraft logs.
- 41:49It was started by somebody who, and now they kind of like
- 41:52partnered up basically like Warcraft Logs took over.
- 41:54I, I, I go through and I edit those.
- 41:57So there's a guide writer I go through, I make sure everything
- 41:59is consistent, succinct, etcetera.
- 42:05I think it's helped me with that.
- 42:06It's helped me with my own content on YouTube.
- 42:09I started, I started making YouTube content originally.
- 42:13I wasn't a streamer. That was not where I started and
- 42:16it was because I was again, pre, pre mythic plus, really, I was
- 42:22a, a cutting edge Raider and at the time for a long time restor
- 42:26druid. I feel like if you count the
- 42:27seasons, like restor Druid has been meta for many, many, many
- 42:30seasons across the expansions. And at the at this time, I could
- 42:35really only find restor Druid content that was from mythic
- 42:38plus. So I was like, Oh well, OK, I'll
- 42:39just make, I'm doing all this research myself.
- 42:42Why don't I put it into a video and try to convey that
- 42:45information that way. I, I try to rephrase information
- 42:51maybe or, or kind of frame it in a way that might be a bit
- 42:56different than how it shows up in, in blue post from Blizzard
- 42:59or how it might show up in the, in a dungeon journal or things
- 43:02like that. I if, if you can't tell, I, I
- 43:04try to use a lot of anecdotes and a lot of personal
- 43:07experiences because for me personally, when I'm learning
- 43:10something, I can't just, you know, if someone, if someone
- 43:14copy paste their talent build and they go here, here you go
- 43:16Laria, take this. I take, I, I can take that
- 43:20talent build, but then I go, OK, but why do I take this?
- 43:23And what about this one? And why?
- 43:25Like why? What's the why behind that?
- 43:27So I guess to answer your question, I think not only do I
- 43:30do the research, I try to provide the answers as to why
- 43:34because I think that will help people.
- 43:35I don't know if absorb the information is the right word,
- 43:39but maybe help help it stick a little bit better.
- 43:43As a person who is very much about why being able to
- 43:46contextualize information, what is, is so important that that is
- 43:50the why. It's like, OK, I've got AB and
- 43:52C. It's like, well, why A?
- 43:54And then why B? Like, yeah.
- 43:57And then that'll help me make decisions like, oh, I've moved
- 44:00and I can't do C. It's like, should I go back to
- 44:02A? No, no, no, you do C next
- 44:05because B gave a buff towards C or something along those lines.
- 44:08And yeah, I, I do think that being able to contextualize
- 44:11information is big on everything.
- 44:13Take that for not just mythic plus or as we're saying, but
- 44:17like just in general if you want to understand your class better.
- 44:20So then along those lines, are there any pointers, let's say
- 44:25last pointers that you would give to people who are just
- 44:28trying to improve in general or specifically for improving A
- 44:31mythic plus? For healers in particular, I
- 44:35guess I'll speak to healers because that's because that's
- 44:36primarily what I play. That's what I mean, all right,
- 44:40and this is this is going to bring up a topic that I I feel
- 44:43like the the wow community in general was very split over for
- 44:47for many, many, many months. I'm going to start by saying I
- 44:52overall I am team no add-ons and I will I will link this to what
- 44:57I'm going to say in a moment about healers and and tips.
- 45:00And with that said, while I try to have AUI that doesn't use a
- 45:08ton of add-ons, there are a couple that I think are
- 45:11necessary. And I think it's having really
- 45:14good party and raid frames as a healer.
- 45:17That is really the bones that like hold holds everything else
- 45:22up as a healer, especially the higher up that you get in in key
- 45:26level, key level range. Right now, I think at the time
- 45:31of this video, the default raid frames and party frames are not
- 45:36customizable enough, or at least on, at least for restor Druids
- 45:42in particular. Restor Druids have a lot of hot
- 45:44Hots that you need to track. And then there's a way that it
- 45:47interacts with your mastery. The more Hots you have on a
- 45:49person, it, it, it works for your mastery cause the more
- 45:53healing that those Hots are going to do, the more you have
- 45:56on one person, if that makes sense.
- 45:58So exactly, yes. So it, it just gets really
- 46:04tricky for a class that can very easily have 5 Hots on one
- 46:07person. And so with that said, my 1 tip
- 46:12is to make sure that you use party frames.
- 46:15If we're talking about Mythic plus, for example, that work for
- 46:18you. I am going to shout out grid 2
- 46:21because I started using grid two last summer, summer 2025 and it
- 46:27has been incredible. It's been a super solid add on
- 46:31and I've been using it basically since I think week one or two of
- 46:37midnight. I should also say the experience
- 46:40I'm talking about is in the pre patch of of the war within
- 46:43leading up to midnight. So those those six weeks or so
- 46:46that we had, I used zero add-ons.
- 46:50I continued to to get cutting, cutting it.
- 46:53I don't know if it was cutting edge at that point.
- 46:55Mythic with mythic grade clearing the raid on mythic,
- 46:57we'll say, because it was technically pre patch with, with
- 47:000 add-ons, just using the base raid frames and the base party
- 47:03frames for my keys every week. And so I'm kind of comparing it
- 47:06to that experience. I wanted to get enough
- 47:08experience using no add-ons that I could say, all right, this is
- 47:10working for me in the content that I do regularly.
- 47:13This is not working. And raid frames.
- 47:15That was really a like a pain point.
- 47:19I am the only healer on my raid team right now with the raid
- 47:23team that has not had any issues tracking dispels.
- 47:27I think that was a really big topic that came up in the
- 47:31community when Blizzard was posting updates about, again, I
- 47:35think leading up to the war within or midnight pre patch
- 47:38rather toward the end of that expansion when they were making
- 47:41tweaks and changes to the default UI and things like that.
- 47:44I've never had any issues with dispels.
- 47:46Grid 2 tracks it beautifully. My hots show up, there's there's
- 47:52no issue. And so I just think whether you
- 47:54use grid 2 or, or something else that works for you, I've heard
- 47:57Dander's kind of thrown around a little bit.
- 47:59If you use that, you know, it's, it's whatever you end up using.
- 48:02Just make sure that it works for you.
- 48:04You see the information that you need personally to track.
- 48:08Because I'm going to go slightly off topic again real quick that
- 48:11I'll link back. It reminds me of weak auras.
- 48:14And obviously we don't have weak auras anymore.
- 48:16But when we did, I feel like a lot, a lot of people would just
- 48:19kind of import these massive beck weak aura packs, tracking
- 48:26every every buff you could and and ability you can possibly
- 48:29imagine. And they would like plop it
- 48:31right in the middle of their screen or off to the side of the
- 48:32screen or wherever you put it. And and if that's you, totally
- 48:36fine. But when I did that, I was it
- 48:39was like information overload because I didn't need to track
- 48:43all those things. So I realized that there were
- 48:45certain buffs sold the forest, for example, as a rest or dirt.
- 48:49I want to know when I have that I need to make it super clear
- 48:51when I have that, you know, another one might be my abundant
- 48:56stacks. How many rejuice do I have out?
- 48:57What is that? You know, a caps at 12, AM I at
- 49:008 or am I at 10? You know, what am I at 2?
- 49:03Do I need to put out more rejuice?
- 49:05So tracking those kinds of things are really helpful.
- 49:08And so I think when it comes to raid and party frames as a
- 49:11healer, just make sure that it has the information that you
- 49:13personally as a player need to track, because I don't, I don't
- 49:18think like many like what you track as let's say you're
- 49:21playing restoration, What you decide to track might be
- 49:24different than what I need to track.
- 49:25And I might track something that you're like, oh, what, why does
- 49:28Larry need to track that? I know all the time when I have
- 49:30that, you know, I think we just our attention is a little bit,
- 49:34we everybody plays differently and we're able to keep track of
- 49:37different things. Again, it's all it all comes
- 49:39down to information organization, I think, but
- 49:41that's the biggest thing. No matter what your stance is on
- 49:45the add-ons, whether you're like, Nope, I want an add-ons
- 49:47free UI. I think that's great.
- 49:49But really as a healer, it comes down to having really, really
- 49:52good party frames. You calling it out as a
- 49:55customization thing is big because of like the difference
- 49:59between how you would play as a rest of Druid versus anybody
- 50:02else in that same spec and dungeon and so forth.
- 50:04That's a big thing if people want to find like your work and
- 50:09what what you do, where can we find you around the Internet?
- 50:12I am primarily on Twitch. I I guess you'd call me a part
- 50:16time streamer. I, I stream two to three days a
- 50:17week, usually in the evenings Eastern Time zone, although
- 50:21occasionally you'll see me on the weekends.
- 50:23I what I've started doing over the last few months is leaning
- 50:27more into a more general informational content on YouTube
- 50:32where it's not only healing content, but it's just
- 50:36information in general, whether that is summing up blue posts
- 50:40or, you know, housing content, what's changing and things like
- 50:42that. Just trying to share information
- 50:45with the community, but framing it in a little bit of a
- 50:48different way so that it's more either more accessible or, you
- 50:51know, whatever it might be. And then I'm also on socials.
- 50:54I try really hard to post different forms of content that
- 50:58is not just like taking clips and just posting, you know,
- 51:01because people who see stream, yeah, while they might want to
- 51:03re, I don't know, revisit maybe some funny moments.
- 51:06I try to make sure that each of my platforms has its own content
- 51:10in a way. So primarily Twitch, but I'm
- 51:14also elsewhere. I'm really glad that we got to
- 51:19you get some of the information that you're putting out over
- 51:21here. Of course, I've been in a few of
- 51:23your streams. I think I really I followed you
- 51:27on Instagram. I'm not sure the fit of the day
- 51:29is exactly helping me, but it looks amazing.
- 51:32So thank you for that. But again, thank you for coming
- 51:35on the show today. And until next time guys, may
- 51:38all your hits be good.
