- 0:01Hello. Welcome to the No God Coach
- 0:03Huddle for January 15, 2026.
- 0:06Your twominut call from God's playbook
- 0:09to know him better so we can love and
- 0:11obey him more. But pedal up and hear
- 0:14today's play from Acts 16, which says,
- 0:17"When her owners saw what had come out
- 0:20was any further prospect of profit, they
- 0:24seized Paul and Silas and dragged him to
- 0:27the market square to face the
- 0:28authorities. After giving them a severe
- 0:31beating, they threw him in prison,
- 0:33charging the jailer to guard them
- 0:35securely.
- 0:36Acts 16 shows a powerful collision. The
- 0:39gospel versus profit, obedience versus
- 0:43comfort. Paul and Silas cast out a
- 0:46spirit from a slave girl, and
- 0:47immediately the marketplace reacted. Not
- 0:50because justice was broken, but because
- 0:52profit was threatened. her owner seized
- 0:55them, dragged them before the
- 0:56authorities, and had them beaten and
- 0:58imprisoned. Sound familiar? Our world
- 1:01hasn't changed. Christian men today face
- 1:04the same tension. The culture often
- 1:06says, "You can't speak the truth. You
- 1:08can't stand for God's design, morality,
- 1:11or biblical values. It's unprofitable
- 1:13and unpopular." When Christians
- 1:16compromise for money, comfort, or
- 1:18approval, we betray God's calling. Jesus
- 1:21warned us, "No one can serve two
- 1:23masters." You cannot love God and money
- 1:26without abandoning one. Paul and Silas
- 1:29didn't soften the gospel they suffered.
- 1:32Yes, the scripture shows their suffering
- 1:34as faithfulness and not failure. And
- 1:37this is the model for us. Men of God in
- 1:39business, in the church, in the home, be
- 1:42ready to stand firm even when it costs
- 1:44you comfort, influence, or profit. The
- 1:47reward of men fade. The reward of God is
- 1:50eternal life, abundant and secure. And
- 1:53Jesus warns those ashamed of him now,
- 1:56what he will be ashamed of later. Run
- 1:59today's play. Identify where comfort,
- 2:02approval, or profit pressures you to
- 2:05compromise with truth and then refuse to
- 2:08back down. Stand firm in God's word.
- 2:10Lead your family, your workplace, and
- 2:12your church with courage and conviction.
- 2:15Remember obedience now brings reward
- 2:19later. Don't fear man. Be fear being
- 2:22unfaithful to God. Men, faith over
- 2:25profit, courage over compromise.
- 2:28Suffering for Christ is investment, not
- 2:30loss. Stand firm today. Stand firm
- 2:34forever. If this huddle helps you know
- 2:36God better so you can love and obey him
- 2:38more, leave a quick review and share
- 2:40with a friend. That helps other men find
- 2:42their way into the huddle.
