  We look forward to Tuesday's because our group gets together

  tickets and then we pay her when we get there.

  But we really look forward to movie night.

  I know everybody that watches it gets out and goes, man, he was

  OK back to Stephen A Smith. He made news by just repeating

  what Donovan McNabb, Remember the Philadelphia Eagles

  quarterback from 15 years ago or more, His name was Donovan

  McNabb, and he was a quarterback and a good one.

  And he said, he said, Donovan said NASCAR drivers are not

  athletes. And I'm like, you know, at the

  time, 15 years ago, it pissed me off because I was young.

  And when you're young, you react to everything because you're on

  defense. And then when you get older like

  me, you're like, just don't don't even matter.

  So Stephen A Smith, the guy that works for ESPN and he is really

  good. I do like listening to Stephen A

  Smith because he says what he means and he means what he says,

  and you got to respect that. There are some people that say

  things that, you know, they, they just saying it, you know,

  they, there's no way they really believe it.

  But whatever that's in the eyes of the beholder.

  That's why we have free speech. That's why America is the

  greatest land of all. Remember that.

  But there is responsibility for saying stupid.

  OK, if you're going to say stupid, then you going to get a

  little bit lash back. So Stephen A Smith says NASCAR

  drivers are not real athletes. Well, first of all, my response

  was like, I agree with that. And not not in a controversial

  way. So for me, now that I'm older,

  when Donovan McNabb said it years ago, like I said, it

  pissed me off. Nowadays I'm, I'm 6th, I'm going

  to go on 63 here. My birthday is August 23rd.

  And like, OK, an athlete now. I did like Denny Hamlin's take

  on actions detrimental, Denny Hamlin said.

  What's the definition of an athlete?

  It was kind of funny. It was like a spelling bee.

  When I think of the word athlete, I think of a man

  looking at himself in front of a mirror and he's full of muscles.

  He's like a gladiator, like football player.

  You know, football players, when they play, it's their body

  against the other guy's body. Running, jumping, tackling.

  I I think of an athlete is like a baseball player, a hockey

  player. Guys, ladies, everybody there,

  There you go. Well, they just said new turf

  field. They talk about turf field, a

  basketball right there. Those guys are athletes.

  Those guys are athletes because it's they're it's about their

  body. Their body does the talking.

  To me, that's what the word athlete means.

  Now am am I an athlete? Well, I mean, I ran a 600 mile

  And for that, I admire as my old boss, Scott Ackerson, who ran

  Fox Sports for years. He ran the studios.

  When I would get on the TV set, Ackerson would look at me now

  and he'd say, all right, when you do TV today in front of a

  million people, say what you mean and mean what you say, and

  So now I don't know Stephen A Smith, but I kind of thought

  that was a bad ass move. He didn't apologize and he said

  what he meant and meant what he said.
