- 0:27Hey everybody, good morning from the chicken coop.
- 0:30Apparently Raven wants to say good morning as well.
- 0:34Today I want to talk to you about intuition and we all have
- 0:39intuition. It's all part of our built in
- 0:41systems. Not all of us cultivate it quite
- 0:45in the best way of that we possibly could by acknowledging
- 0:49that we have it in ways and saying, hey, I'm going to work
- 0:52on using this as much as I can. In fact, some of us are afraid
- 0:55to use it. And that's actually why I
- 0:56brought it up today. Because I've had a lot of people
- 0:59as of late tell me that they felt like they had those
- 1:03intuitive moments, but that they were back.
- 1:06They backed off. And they are like, oh, I should
- 1:08have listened to myself, but they didn't.
- 1:10And then there was this question of like, well, I didn't listen
- 1:13to myself. And then therefore I set myself
- 1:16up for failure. And I I think it's kind of
- 1:19interesting because we all have the ability to do it.
- 1:22We all have the ability to call on intuition.
- 1:24We all have the ability to recognize it.
- 1:27But do we actually, you know, cultivate it?
- 1:31Do we actually work on it? Do we actually use it to the
- 1:34fullest extent that we possibly can?
- 1:36And that answer is a big no. We don't necessarily do that.
- 1:40Part of the reason is it's not coveted like it used to be.
- 1:44Many, many years ago. You know, there was a time in
- 1:47this world where intuition was something that people were
- 1:50really focused on, and they they coveted the tool of having it.
- 1:57And some people had very, very, very high senses of it.
- 2:01And other people had, you know, lower senses.
- 2:05But it really isn't because they didn't have the same level.
- 2:08It's just it hasn't been cultivated.
- 2:10So how do you cultivate your intuition?
- 2:14Well, the first thing is you've got to believe that you have it.
- 2:17In order to cultivate it, you've got to believe it's a part of
- 2:19your hard wiring, and you've got to believe that you can tap into
- 2:24it and make it something for yourself.
- 2:27As soon as you start doing that, everything changes because you
- 2:31can stop and pause and take in the fact that, OK, I'm getting a
- 2:35message, I'm feeling something about this and I'm and I'm
- 2:39working towards having this be a tool I can I can tap into
- 2:45regularly. So if you don't use something,
- 2:49you lose it. I mean, that's a pretty standard
- 2:51operating procedure and I think we all know that if you don't
- 2:54use it, you lose it. Whether it's your body working
- 2:58out, muscles, whatever, don't use it.
- 3:01It goes away. Intuition is absolutely the same
- 3:04thing. And we'll be a little we
- 3:06actually have a lot of intuition, and it guides us a
- 3:09lot. And then as we get older, we
- 3:11start to not trust ourselves as much.
- 3:13And the more you don't trust yourself, the more your ability
- 3:16to trust yourself starts to escape.
- 3:19It's part of intuition. As far as I'm concerned, it's
- 3:21all one big ball of wax. So the very first thing that you
- 3:26can do to correct this is to start asking yourself, you know,
- 3:31what is my divide it out into your in your thought process and
- 3:35say, well, my head is telling me this and my heart is telling me
- 3:38this. For some people they like to use
- 3:39head and heart. For some people they like to use
- 3:41Well, my mind is saying this and my gut is saying this.
- 3:46Some people will say, you know, I feel in the pit of my stomach
- 3:50and they know something is right or wrong.
- 3:53They know where they are with something.
- 3:55So you have to start just honing in on those small little clues
- 4:00that show up in your life where you can tap it and say, ah,
- 4:04wait, I I recognize this. This is something to me that I
- 4:07should pay attention to. Now, in the beginning, you're
- 4:09not going to probably trust it as much as you should.
- 4:13Nine times out of 10, our gut is right.
- 4:16When our gut sends us a message, it's right we don't always
- 4:20listen to it because we're so stubborn.
- 4:22We want to believe that our head is better than our heart.
- 4:25But quite honestly when you're when you're on it and you're
- 4:29dealing with that, it is usually spot on that your heart is going
- 4:35to give you stare you in the right direction.
- 4:37But the trick is you have to really listen to what it's
- 4:43saying. Because sometimes we'll have
- 4:45this like my heart wants something to work, but behind
- 4:47the scenes you're just like, I just, I just know it's not going
- 4:51to work out and you just know you shouldn't do something.
- 4:54You know there's a something in there that says even though it's
- 4:59right there, well, that's where it gets tricky because you have
- 5:02to discern is that message a true message?
- 5:05Is it something that's muddled with what's going on in your
- 5:08head? And is all that muddled
- 5:10conversation confusing you as to is it coming from your
- 5:13intuition? Is it coming from your
- 5:17analytical thought? What?
- 5:18What pot is it coming out of? So that comes into that place of
- 5:24getting super aware of what's going on, super aware of your
- 5:27thoughts. Sometimes it's really helpful to
- 5:29sit down and write it all out because when you put it on
- 5:31paper, it seems to get so much clearer.
- 5:34You know that old school way of doing something where you draw a
- 5:37line down in the middle of a piece of paper and you say pros
- 5:40and cons? You know, you can do that same
- 5:42type of exercise with the my heart and my head, my gut and my
- 5:47mind. You can do that, and it really,
- 5:49really helps. So this little conversation is
- 5:53meant to put you on the path of working, to cultivate it, build
- 5:56the skill, allow yourself to have the skill and allow it to
- 6:00grow, grow, grow. Because the more you have of it,
- 6:02the more it will guide you in, the more it you will be able to
- 6:05use it in the way it was meant to be, where you are tapped in
- 6:10and you are using it regularly in your daily life.
- 6:13So I hope you guys have a blessed day.
- 6:16I hope you use your intuition today to make some great
- 6:18distinctions for yourself and I will see you all tomorrow.
- 6:21Bye.
