- 0:04Speaker 1: Welcome back to Artists on the Artists on Artists on Artists.
- 0:08Speaker 1: This week on the show, we have a very important
- 0:11Speaker 1: group of people. It's the people behind Jubilee nine million subscribers.
- 0:15Speaker 1: One of YouTube's biggest channels.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Jubilee is well known for its hot take videos. They
- 0:21Speaker 2: get large amounts of people, put them in a room,
- 0:24Speaker 2: get them to fight, kiss or other stuff. We found
- 0:28Speaker 2: the people that make these videos and come up with
- 0:30Speaker 2: those ideas so we can sit and watch and enjoy
- 0:34Speaker 2: from the comfort of our own computer.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Is it a social experiment or is it content? Jubilee
- 0:41Speaker 3: rides the gap between those two worlds, and we're going
- 0:45Speaker 3: to talk to the writers who make it happen.
- 0:47Speaker 4: So get out your moral code and your political spectrum
- 0:51Speaker 4: and let's listen in.
- 0:55Speaker 2: So, I was sitting behind this woman in a coffee
- 0:57Speaker 2: shop and she would not stop talking. And I thought,
- 1:00Speaker 2: that's a video. That's a video.
- 1:03Speaker 5: Yes, and that's what. So that's a video.
- 1:05Speaker 2: And I thought, you know, we put nine women in
- 1:08Speaker 2: a in a room together and the first one to
- 1:10Speaker 2: stop talking gets kicked out.
- 1:12Speaker 5: I think that's that's a video.
- 1:14Speaker 4: I think that's really good, because, like I think there's
- 1:16Speaker 4: something so important to like that as a question of
- 1:19Speaker 4: society of like when women talk, do we listen?
- 1:23Speaker 3: And it's so interesting, And what I think is awesome
- 1:26Speaker 3: is like not taking a stance either. WA's important good
- 1:31Speaker 3: that the women are talking, and we just let the
- 1:33Speaker 3: people decide for themselves. Literally totally.
- 1:36Speaker 1: It's it's almost like you put those people in front
- 1:39Speaker 1: of each other and I don't even know if the
- 1:41Speaker 1: people are the content. It's the words that are hitting
- 1:44Speaker 1: each other. And these words sometimes sometimes they a square
- 1:49Speaker 1: doesn't fit into a circle. Sometimes sometimes it does, but
- 1:52Speaker 1: sometimes it does.
- 1:53Speaker 2: So then you shot the.
- 1:54Speaker 5: Corners and that's a video.
- 1:56Speaker 1: And if you're gay, that's a video.
- 1:57Speaker 3: If you're gay, that's a video.
- 1:59Speaker 4: Well it's not just if you're gay, it's if you're gay.
- 2:02Speaker 4: And then in a situation, that's where we love. That's
- 2:05Speaker 4: like the prime is like we're looking for those videos
- 2:08Speaker 4: that ask a question in the premise of the video,
- 2:11Speaker 4: a question that you're not necessarily comfortable with sitting with.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Yeah, And I think that's what is so important about
- 2:16Speaker 1: life that we don't talk about in content creation enough.
- 2:19Speaker 1: That life is a collection of situations, Yes, situation after situation,
- 2:24Speaker 1: a situation exactly exactly.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Guys are getting a freaking ahead of ourselves.
- 2:29Speaker 5: Oh my gosh, classic us. We're ready to roll right
- 2:32Speaker 5: now here.
- 2:33Speaker 2: We're here, and we know we get this kind of stuff.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Camera one, camera two, We know all this kind of stuff.
- 2:37Speaker 3: We know all this stuff. Two cameras. That's a video.
- 2:42Speaker 5: We know this stuff with lights light.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Honestly, all it's missing is my affirmation candle. Yeah you know.
- 2:48Speaker 3: I mean, I gotta be technical here. No white sich
- 2:50Speaker 3: so kind to be a.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Video and I'm gonna be technical handheld microphones. If we
- 2:54Speaker 2: got forty people in a room, this wouldn't do.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Bore Loves are boom, Loves are booms, that's a video.
- 3:05Speaker 1: I was talking to my hot as white the other
- 3:06Speaker 1: day and I was like, Babe, if we ever renew
- 3:08Speaker 1: our vows, I want to do it on a white
- 3:09Speaker 1: syc as there is like why aren't these big Hollywood
- 3:13Speaker 1: directors using white sights.
- 3:14Speaker 2: In absolutely And I gotta say. I was talking to
- 3:16Speaker 2: my wife the other day. I said, look at this
- 3:17Speaker 2: honey on Amazon. Boom as big as a blimp, and
- 3:21Speaker 2: I'm gonna get it. That's a video.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Boom is big as a blimp. Voice actors Boom.
- 3:28Speaker 2: As big as a blimp, voice actors versus boom as
- 3:30Speaker 2: big as a blimp.
- 3:31Speaker 3: Yes, one for voice actors, one secret boom.
- 3:35Speaker 5: Yes, and they have to figure out which one is
- 3:38Speaker 5: not talking.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Honestly, I'm saying you could even do a part two.
- 3:45Speaker 1: And if they peek, maybe they're a Republican.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Yes, absolutely, if they peak the Republican.
- 3:50Speaker 3: If they peak their Republican, that's a video. Write that down.
- 3:53Speaker 5: Okay, so I'm alive.
- 3:55Speaker 2: I'm alive. We should probably go around. My thought is
- 3:59Speaker 2: we introduced who we are, what we do, and then
- 4:01Speaker 2: our hottest take that would make somebody mad.
- 4:03Speaker 1: I would love our hottest take in our inherent biases.
- 4:05Speaker 5: Let's yeah, let's talk.
- 4:08Speaker 2: And we always do that every morning. In the morning,
- 4:10Speaker 2: we clear the biases.
- 4:11Speaker 5: We clear the air, and we clear the bias.
- 4:13Speaker 1: I'm slack. You'll see our names and then under it
- 4:15Speaker 1: our inherent bias that day and how we're going.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Really good brainstorming exercise where we're and it's good to
- 4:22Speaker 3: farm some new stereotypes you've heard of, because it's good
- 4:25Speaker 3: to keep a breast literally what stereotypes are happening, because
- 4:28Speaker 3: sometimes there's new ones.
- 4:29Speaker 4: Yeah, it's name pronouns we don't use, and then biases
- 4:32Speaker 4: that we have that.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Yes, I yeah, so I'll go. I'll go. I'm Dylan.
- 4:37Speaker 1: My pronouns I don't use.
- 4:48Speaker 5: Go ahead, This is how we start every day.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Please go ahead, I will go ahead. My name is Dylan.
- 4:58Speaker 1: My pronouns I don't use, or she her at an
- 5:04Speaker 1: inherent bias I'm dealing with today are people with road rage.
- 5:07Speaker 1: I don't understand them. They make me frustrated, and I
- 5:11Speaker 1: want to open up to understanding them.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Today, totally, totally.
- 5:15Speaker 5: My name is Dan. Pronouns that I don't use.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Are they them? Uh?
- 5:28Speaker 3: Because this is kind of the exact political alignment of
- 5:31Speaker 3: what we're right.
- 5:33Speaker 1: It's like it's like putting on a huge poster board
- 5:37Speaker 1: what we aren't and going, I see.
- 5:39Speaker 5: You Dan, not they them?
- 5:44Speaker 3: Hi?
- 5:45Speaker 5: And uh.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Look I am a big writing guy. One of my
- 5:51Speaker 2: biggest biases right now are neighbors. I don't like that
- 5:54Speaker 2: other people live on my street. I don't like that
- 5:57Speaker 2: other people are near me, and I don't like that
- 5:59Speaker 2: they get to be louder than me.
- 6:01Speaker 1: And can I tell you something, Dan that sounds like
- 6:03Speaker 1: a post pandemic thought? Yeah, something that the pandemic did
- 6:07Speaker 1: to us.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Well, this is what I'm saying. Once we get this
- 6:10Speaker 2: time machine working, our video is are gonna be another level. Literally, right,
- 6:13Speaker 2: we get five non pandemic people, five people from twenty
- 6:16Speaker 2: nineteen and five people in a room.
- 6:19Speaker 3: Again, we're so close because when we do six pilgrims,
- 6:22Speaker 3: one secret witch, it's gonna break. It's gonna break the
- 6:25Speaker 3: Internet Internet.
- 6:26Speaker 4: That debate was amazing when they break down, when they asked, wait, wait,
- 6:30Speaker 4: can you float and everybody said no.
- 6:32Speaker 5: It was amazing.
- 6:34Speaker 2: And then my video twenty Pharaohs one Night, that's gonna
- 6:37Speaker 2: be huge.
- 6:38Speaker 3: It was so hard to get them used to the camera. Yeah,
- 6:42Speaker 3: that's something we're still working on.
- 6:43Speaker 5: Because they were like, you're a witch.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Wells, no, we are not the witch. We're Producer's fucking
- 6:50Speaker 3: frustrating because the only way we can fix it is
- 6:52Speaker 3: if we bring cameras back then and kind of pre
- 6:54Speaker 3: interview them and show them.
- 6:55Speaker 2: But then we're altering history.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Wit exactly close to But I'm sorry, I don't want
- 7:01Speaker 1: a red camera on a guy that handled the Black plague.
- 7:03Speaker 1: When I'm trying to talk to doctor Fauci who's in
- 7:05Speaker 1: a mustache.
- 7:06Speaker 5: And these guys are not media trained. What they say
- 7:08Speaker 5: will not hold on.
- 7:09Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, that's a video.
- 7:11Speaker 3: So that's a video.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Media seven samuraized, Oh.
- 7:16Speaker 1: That's a video. I forgot to say a little bit
- 7:18Speaker 1: background around me because you're a writer, you said, I'm
- 7:20Speaker 1: a writer. Yeah, I forgot to say I I met
- 7:24Speaker 1: you guys back in the day. I met a couple
- 7:26Speaker 1: of you at church because I used to be a
- 7:28Speaker 1: youth pastor, yes, and now I am not. I am
- 7:31Speaker 1: a deconstructioning Christian.
- 7:34Speaker 5: So cool to see where you're at in the process,
- 7:37Speaker 5: But where.
- 7:37Speaker 1: I'm at really in the process is learning to love
- 7:40Speaker 1: the people in the other lane that are beeping at me.
- 7:43Speaker 5: Yeah, that's beautiful.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Hi. I am Denise Ryan. I am a writer here
- 7:51Speaker 3: at Jubilee. My pronouns I don't use or she her.
- 7:55Speaker 3: My current biases is cashiers. I've been trying to be
- 8:00Speaker 3: like a regular at this coffee shop, and they like,
- 8:04Speaker 3: haven't picked up on my order. I keep going in.
- 8:06Speaker 3: I order the same thing a couple times a week.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Sometimes I change it, but I've yet to get that
- 8:11Speaker 3: treatment that's like, hey, here you are, here's your your
- 8:15Speaker 3: your your drip with a yeah. They haven't gotten to
- 8:19Speaker 3: it yet, so I'm feeling a little biased about.
- 8:20Speaker 5: That, and we're going to make a video just to
- 8:22Speaker 5: figure that one out.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Absolutely, we're going to figure that out.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Sometimes our videos are just questions that we need answers to,
- 8:28Speaker 2: kind of for ourselves.
- 8:29Speaker 3: That we're just trying to figure out. And can I
- 8:31Speaker 3: say a stereotype that's been exciting me recently? Okay, Danish
- 8:36Speaker 3: people smoke a lot of cigarettes.
- 8:37Speaker 1: That is so exciting and the way we probably judge
- 8:40Speaker 1: them every second of the day.
- 8:41Speaker 5: Yeah, that's really exciting.
- 8:42Speaker 1: I mean, let me tell you something. You are one
- 8:44Speaker 1: of the wisest on our team.
- 8:45Speaker 5: Absolutely.
- 8:46Speaker 1: I think it's all those degrees.
- 8:48Speaker 3: I mean, I mean, I like, I've you have. I
- 8:52Speaker 3: have twelve master's degrees. I studied one in communication.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Guys, you know how hard it is to get a
- 8:59Speaker 1: master's agree in communication?
- 9:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I got I got communication, I got history, I
- 9:05Speaker 3: got medical stuff. It's like a whole boring thing, boring thing.
- 9:10Speaker 3: I have a master's of medical stuff. My thesis was
- 9:12Speaker 3: on the Stanford prison experiment. And so i've.
- 9:16Speaker 5: I said it was good.
- 9:19Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, I said it was awesome.
- 9:20Speaker 4: We got her and we've been slowly trying to work
- 9:23Speaker 4: our way to recreate the Stanford prison experiment. We're so
- 9:26Speaker 4: excited for The videos are just we're towing the line
- 9:29Speaker 4: every time to get to the standard.
- 9:30Speaker 1: It's like, if Disney is redoing Beauty and the Beast,
- 9:33Speaker 1: we should redo literally exactly literally.
- 9:36Speaker 3: It's like, why are we not just rebooting something?
- 9:39Speaker 2: We need to live the live action version of the
- 9:41Speaker 2: Stanford prison experience.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Yes, we're in the space of reboots and we're cultivating that.
- 9:47Speaker 1: That's a big thing tank in our office next to
- 9:49Speaker 1: the Times.
- 9:49Speaker 3: Yeah, we're super excited. We all have like different lanes.
- 9:54Speaker 3: Uh sometimes I handle a lot of the like women questions,
- 9:58Speaker 3: a lot of the gay questions. And I've been here
- 10:02Speaker 3: for like five years, and honestly my house is so
- 10:06Speaker 3: much bigger than it used to be. Very very excited.
- 10:09Speaker 4: We're doing another wing, another wing, another way from my daughter.
- 10:14Speaker 2: It's just so love how our job makes this unbearable
- 10:17Speaker 2: dinner parties and successful on the internet.
- 10:19Speaker 4: Yeah, people are always so interested when I start talking,
- 10:21Speaker 4: but it seems to lose interest really quick, Like the beginnings.
- 10:25Speaker 3: Of our sentences are awesome.
- 10:26Speaker 4: And then oh yeah, so hi guys, I'm Mickey Chase mcgoverned, I, Dylan,
- 10:33Speaker 4: Dan Denis and Nicky ny I kind of sorry my
- 10:40Speaker 4: pronouns I don't use or she her, they them, And
- 10:44Speaker 4: my bias today, unfortunately is Mormons.
- 10:48Speaker 5: I just don't get it. Why why, why, why?
- 10:54Speaker 3: But why do you do that?
- 10:55Speaker 4: So I I came up with an idea in my
- 10:58Speaker 4: car on the drive over, twenty six Mormons versus one
- 11:02Speaker 4: atheist and we'll.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Get like one of the main by twenty six.
- 11:05Speaker 4: Because I feel like that's a great number because like
- 11:07Speaker 4: then you can have like that perfect thirteen on one
- 11:10Speaker 4: side thirteen on another, which I'm always like looking.
- 11:13Speaker 2: For that sure, but if I could poke a hole
- 11:15Speaker 2: in that is okay, you already have twenty six verses one,
- 11:17Speaker 2: So why do you have thirteen and thirteen? Like you're
- 11:21Speaker 2: making divisions within divisions.
- 11:23Speaker 4: Well, like that's the point though, because like Mormons hate math,
- 11:25Speaker 4: so like I'm gonna do that and I'm going to
- 11:27Speaker 4: prove them wrong once and for all by using math,
- 11:31Speaker 4: by using math. So yeah, and there's you guys tell
- 11:35Speaker 4: from that. I'm kind of the moral guy. I do
- 11:37Speaker 4: like a lot of the big moral questions we're dealing
- 11:39Speaker 4: with religion, we're dealing with politics. We're dealing with law over.
- 11:42Speaker 5: My section of the woods, if you will.
- 11:45Speaker 4: It's a lot of fun round circles, village and the
- 11:49Speaker 4: big debates, but we always try to keep a neutral place.
- 11:53Speaker 4: We will have like a really great video that does
- 11:56Speaker 4: really really well on the internet of like the most
- 11:58Speaker 4: liberal person versus eighteen morons who believe in crazy stuff,
- 12:03Speaker 4: and then we'll turn around and do the worst conservative
- 12:06Speaker 4: person you've ever met in your life debating twelve college
- 12:09Speaker 4: kids that are just trying their best to make him
- 12:11Speaker 4: care about other people.
- 12:12Speaker 5: And we don't take a stand. That's no, we don't take.
- 12:14Speaker 3: A stand, and we never take a stand. You don't
- 12:16Speaker 3: want to take a stand. You take a standand we're
- 12:19Speaker 3: holding up a mirror to you, anxiety.
- 12:21Speaker 1: If you clicked, you take a stand, yea, every.
- 12:24Speaker 5: One of our videos, it happens in real life.
- 12:26Speaker 2: This is exactly how life is.
- 12:28Speaker 3: These are the things that are happening every day. Here's
- 12:31Speaker 3: the thing, like, we're guessing who's black, We're guessing who's gay. Yes,
- 12:35Speaker 3: we every day. And if you're not, if you think
- 12:37Speaker 3: you're not doing that, you're lying.
- 12:39Speaker 1: You're lying honestly, And I'm sorry, but you know I
- 12:42Speaker 1: really love. I like listen, like I love I love shows, right,
- 12:46Speaker 1: and actors, and I love content that's like, oh I
- 12:49Speaker 1: like watching you know, really loved the Leftovers, that was right. Yeah,
- 12:54Speaker 1: But that I don't know. There's something I don't know
- 12:58Speaker 1: if I trust any type of escapism. No, sure, yeah,
- 13:02Speaker 1: because inherently I feel as if we're lying and we're
- 13:06Speaker 1: running away.
- 13:07Speaker 3: Yeah, because when what are these actors and what are
- 13:11Speaker 3: these characters that they're playing? Is that a lie? Why
- 13:14Speaker 3: not reduce themselves to what they are?
- 13:17Speaker 5: Literally?
- 13:18Speaker 3: Right, woman, Christian cop, Like these are the things that
- 13:22Speaker 3: we are.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Well, let's let's talk about the categories, because we are.
- 13:26Speaker 2: We're kind of the avengers of social issues, right. Yeah.
- 13:30Speaker 2: So you obviously do moral stuff you do women, and
- 13:34Speaker 2: I do love in sex.
- 13:35Speaker 1: I do got yeah, yes, yeah, so much crossover. I
- 13:41Speaker 1: don't do religion. I do not do that. I do
- 13:44Speaker 1: like truly, Like we're talking like it's you in a
- 13:47Speaker 1: room alone. Is there a voice there?
- 13:49Speaker 4: It's like that's like every day you're trying to pitch
- 13:52Speaker 4: the same video fourteen Catholics versus one God, and I
- 13:56Speaker 4: just keep on telling you there's he's not.
- 13:57Speaker 5: Going to show up.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Yeah, he's not gonna I'm like, this sounds like a monastery,
- 14:02Speaker 2: you know what I mean.
- 14:03Speaker 5: I'm like, that is not a video, just.
- 14:06Speaker 3: Sure, And I'm in the digital age.
- 14:09Speaker 1: We should be putting a monastery online. Okay, listen, I'll
- 14:14Speaker 1: put that on ice for now because I know that's
- 14:16Speaker 1: a literal crusade. But yeah, I believe to be a
- 14:21Speaker 1: human and to be a millennial or a gen z
- 14:24Speaker 1: is to be a crusader. Yeah, exactly, Yes, what are
- 14:27Speaker 1: you crusading?
- 14:28Speaker 2: Oh you can see videos. We got nine fugly guys
- 14:34Speaker 2: and nine beautiful women, and we see if any of
- 14:37Speaker 2: them have anything in common.
- 14:38Speaker 4: That was mine and that was so interesting that they
- 14:41Speaker 4: ended up having a lot in common.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Yeah, they were both. They were all paid twenty dollars
- 14:45Speaker 2: for the day, whole video.
- 14:48Speaker 3: You know, Oh, I can't really afford lunch.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Guys.
- 14:50Speaker 1: You know what's happening to me right now? Yes, what's
- 14:52Speaker 1: happening to me right now, which I think is happening
- 14:54Speaker 1: for everyone usually happens. This is what we do is
- 14:56Speaker 1: a little peak behind the curtain. I'm getting annoyed with myself,
- 14:58Speaker 1: so I'm going to take three deep.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Yeah, and let's all do that.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Because sometimes we are budding and we are asking so
- 15:04Speaker 1: many questions that I actually feel like nothing is being said.
- 15:07Speaker 5: Hard questions are asked.
- 15:08Speaker 1: So we're going to take three deep breaths Juba Lee.
- 15:12Speaker 4: One secret cats really hard to breathe in on Lee
- 15:26Speaker 4: three deep breaths.
- 15:28Speaker 2: It really helps our writer's room to end on our
- 15:30Speaker 2: breath in. Because it.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Is an idea, we should talk.
- 15:36Speaker 2: About the process how a video starts from idea and
- 15:40Speaker 2: becomes such a writer's room.
- 15:42Speaker 5: Let's talk about the first one. We do it laser tag,
- 15:45Speaker 5: laser tag.
- 15:45Speaker 2: We get in there and we shoot each other, and
- 15:47Speaker 2: whoever loses first doesn't get their idea made, and whoever
- 15:51Speaker 2: wins the round gets their idea made.
- 15:53Speaker 1: And I'll say what I've really loved that I think, Nikki,
- 15:57Speaker 1: you implemented I don't really remember, Mickey, correct me if
- 16:00Speaker 1: I'm wrong. That we can't open our computers without seeing
- 16:04Speaker 1: everybody else's, like we can see each other's death.
- 16:07Speaker 3: Our office is in what a pretty traditionally structured panopticon,
- 16:13Speaker 3: so we can see everyone. We are constantly being watched,
- 16:16Speaker 3: and we are watching others so.
- 16:17Speaker 2: That we.
- 16:20Speaker 3: I mean, I literally can't I can't tell what people
- 16:26Speaker 3: know and what people don't know.
- 16:27Speaker 1: You barely have to describe it.
- 16:29Speaker 3: You barely have to describe it. But it's a big circle.
- 16:32Speaker 3: Everyone's looking at each other. Yes, we cannot hide from ourselves.
- 16:37Speaker 3: We cannot hide from our stereotypes. We cannot hide from
- 16:40Speaker 3: the categories that we fall into. So sometimes like we
- 16:43Speaker 3: also clock in to certain categories someday, like you, some
- 16:48Speaker 3: days people will clock in and they'll go clocking in, white,
- 16:52Speaker 3: clocking in, gay, clocking in.
- 16:55Speaker 4: When I I had a great week where clocked in
- 16:57Speaker 4: for uh uh fast speed dating. Yeah, I can't even
- 17:02Speaker 4: remember what it's called. I clocked into for speed dating.
- 17:04Speaker 4: And I was asking really hard moral questions to them
- 17:07Speaker 4: for speed dating. You was amazing. I was like, so,
- 17:09Speaker 4: what would you do if your partner was sick and
- 17:12Speaker 4: you had to make a choice to save them or
- 17:15Speaker 4: to donate their organs to save another kid?
- 17:17Speaker 5: Exactly?
- 17:18Speaker 2: And that's when I have to come in and go, hey,
- 17:19Speaker 2: this is too surely problem for me, right, Okay, we
- 17:21Speaker 2: are doing, we are doing. You know, uh, drink the
- 17:25Speaker 2: soda if you think you'd want to have sex with
- 17:27Speaker 2: his ass, you know.
- 17:28Speaker 1: But that video idea, here's the thing. That video idea
- 17:31Speaker 1: makes me inherently bad mad that that video idea makes
- 17:34Speaker 1: me inherently mad, which makes me want to get back
- 17:37Speaker 1: in the laser tag ring and shoot your idea. Sure,
- 17:39Speaker 1: it's it's kind of like, bring your idea to the
- 17:41Speaker 1: table and if that gets you frustration, shoot it down.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Literally shoot it down.
- 17:45Speaker 4: That's just the one problem I will say is that
- 17:48Speaker 4: your idea is always winning because you're so good at
- 17:51Speaker 4: laser tag.
- 17:51Speaker 5: You know, like barely.
- 17:54Speaker 3: Suspicials that you instigated the laser tag you've pushed. Yeah,
- 17:58Speaker 3: I just think that's interesting.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Look, so I'm part of a league and I've invited
- 18:02Speaker 2: you guys to come. I'm part of the league and
- 18:03Speaker 2: it is the most fun. I'd love you guys to
- 18:05Speaker 2: come because I'm currently only adults in it, and so
- 18:08Speaker 2: it would be really nice to have other people that
- 18:10Speaker 2: I can drink with after. But it's it's so fun,
- 18:14Speaker 2: and I'm just you know, I'm I'm open for other
- 18:16Speaker 2: ideas if you guys have other ideas of how we
- 18:18Speaker 2: pick ideas, Let's do a laser tag and whoever wins
- 18:21Speaker 2: gets to pick the next thing.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Hey, there we go again, So suddenly.
- 18:23Speaker 5: We're we're gonna win laser tag almost every time.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Okay, well, then then we'll do what you guys want
- 18:29Speaker 2: to do. I don't really care. My ideas work. So
- 18:33Speaker 2: that's the thing is that my ideas work.
- 18:36Speaker 4: Okay, why don't we move on to the next part
- 18:38Speaker 4: taking an idea and making it into a video?
- 18:42Speaker 1: And that's we're yes.
- 18:44Speaker 4: And so this is the poctacon we're kind of taking
- 18:46Speaker 4: like because sometimes ideas are very clear.
- 18:49Speaker 5: You have the title of the video.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Well, and this is where people don't know this.
- 18:52Speaker 5: We use a lot of scale models and mannequins.
- 18:55Speaker 2: So we have a we have a proto type.
- 18:57Speaker 4: Room and we and I guess we've got little miniatures
- 18:59Speaker 4: of every credence of person you could imagine.
- 19:04Speaker 3: We have a verifiable Noah's Arc in the basement of our.
- 19:09Speaker 1: And I'll tell you the furry section is amazing.
- 19:12Speaker 2: And I'll also tell you the guy that organizes those
- 19:15Speaker 2: is a weird.
- 19:16Speaker 3: Always about his curiosities.
- 19:20Speaker 5: You try to grab some and he goes, well, they
- 19:22Speaker 5: can't sit next to each other.
- 19:24Speaker 3: He's also racist. That's like horrible, it's it's it's rough,
- 19:27Speaker 3: it's rough.
- 19:29Speaker 1: But boy can he carve.
- 19:30Speaker 4: He can carve like crazy. And sometimes the idea will
- 19:33Speaker 4: be clear, but sometimes it'll just be a fraction of
- 19:36Speaker 4: a fraction of a fraction idea.
- 19:39Speaker 3: So we say, no, let's go to the basement. Let's
- 19:42Speaker 3: take out the care the figurines, and let's see if
- 19:46Speaker 3: we have a video.
- 19:47Speaker 4: Let's roll the dice and let's roll these figurines and
- 19:49Speaker 4: see if they line up into something with this word
- 19:52Speaker 4: you belie war game.
- 19:55Speaker 5: So we get out the.
- 19:57Speaker 4: We have a lot of rulers. What you do is
- 20:02Speaker 4: you roll for the miniature. You kind of give them
- 20:04Speaker 4: stats and once you have the stats of the person,
- 20:06Speaker 4: that's when you can start exploring what they're gonna be doing.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Yeah, and here's the thing, like you you hear laser tag.
- 20:12Speaker 1: You hear we're playing with dolls and we're rolling for things.
- 20:14Speaker 1: That's work, guys. It's work, guys. That's hard work. Because
- 20:17Speaker 1: I'll say we're working really hard, but I will I
- 20:20Speaker 1: don't know. I really love our outreach department. Who does
- 20:24Speaker 1: because we need to work with figurines because of the
- 20:26Speaker 1: amount of talent we're bringing in. Amazing, amazing, But that's
- 20:30Speaker 1: a lot of people. Every video is at least twenty people.
- 20:34Speaker 6: Incredible, and I was asking the talent department the other
- 20:36Speaker 6: day how they figure out who they're going to bring in,
- 20:39Speaker 6: And they said, they go around and they survey people
- 20:41Speaker 6: and they say, who's somebody you know who hasn't changed
- 20:44Speaker 6: since middle school?
- 20:45Speaker 5: And they bring them in and that's and that's how
- 20:48Speaker 5: we get our people.
- 20:49Speaker 2: It's increasing.
- 20:50Speaker 4: All those Facebook friends you see and you go, they
- 20:52Speaker 4: just don't seem to change.
- 20:54Speaker 5: Truly, life throws at them.
- 20:56Speaker 3: They're gonna be going to stay the same. I think
- 20:58Speaker 3: they also go through instams and see anybody who has
- 21:02Speaker 3: in their bio I like song lyrics.
- 21:05Speaker 4: Yeah, they go for people who are like and anywhere
- 21:08Speaker 4: that they've traveled, like a flag to hear like that's
- 21:11Speaker 4: exactly what they like.
- 21:12Speaker 1: I think we had like an auto search on anyone
- 21:14Speaker 1: who used the caption ye and I can't stress this
- 21:16Speaker 1: at enough haul. Yeah, anyone who did that caption which
- 21:20Speaker 1: immediately offered an email and.
- 21:25Speaker 4: Offered an email, and they are offered an email because
- 21:28Speaker 4: we send him.
- 21:28Speaker 1: We send him a page and the page says can
- 21:30Speaker 1: we offer you an email? Except that we will send
- 21:33Speaker 1: the email.
- 21:34Speaker 5: And that's also a good list.
- 21:35Speaker 4: Anybody's responding to an email that says, can we send
- 21:38Speaker 4: you an email with yes, you are in.
- 21:44Speaker 3: So we've partnered with a lot of scam callers, so
- 21:47Speaker 3: people who call from unknown numbers. Uh, people who call
- 21:50Speaker 3: who show up as scam likely. If you pick up
- 21:52Speaker 3: that call, congratulations, you're offered an email.
- 21:55Speaker 1: You're you're offered an email. I love Jesse, our scouty
- 21:59Speaker 1: stands permanently at the target in the target jewelry section. Yes, yeah,
- 22:04Speaker 1: and if you're buying jewelry over there, because I do
- 22:06Speaker 1: that a lot for my hot ass fucking wife. Sometimes
- 22:11Speaker 1: you'll see Jesse standing there and she's a scout and
- 22:13Speaker 1: she'll see.
- 22:14Speaker 5: She's got the paperwork to just get you right into
- 22:16Speaker 5: the studio.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Right paperwork to offer you an email.
- 22:18Speaker 3: People.
- 22:18Speaker 4: I love coming in. People really love coming in. They
- 22:21Speaker 4: don't fully understand what they're doing or how much they're
- 22:23Speaker 4: gonna getaid until they get there, but they really appreciate
- 22:25Speaker 4: I think walking away with learning.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Like come on and have a bag of chips, chips,
- 22:29Speaker 1: like exactly.
- 22:30Speaker 2: I mean, it's it's such a fun, inclusive environment. We
- 22:32Speaker 2: have a bag of chips and they can have as
- 22:35Speaker 2: many as they want.
- 22:36Speaker 3: Of the of the chips from the.
- 22:39Speaker 5: Zapps zaps expensive, they're expensive.
- 22:42Speaker 2: They're imported from New Orleans. Yes, the bodega that we
- 22:46Speaker 2: buy them from tells us that it's really really really
- 22:49Speaker 2: cool and it's amazing and I and I would say
- 22:52Speaker 2: I've seen a lot of relationships blossom from there.
- 22:55Speaker 5: Oh my god, Oh my god, I'm having a video idea.
- 22:57Speaker 5: What's going on? Oh my god, feel.
- 22:59Speaker 3: It out, feel it out, feel it out.
- 23:01Speaker 4: Emerge to bisexual people, guess your weight by what you're wearing.
- 23:06Speaker 1: It's just it's just convoluted.
- 23:09Speaker 3: It's just it's just because I know, like a real video.
- 23:13Speaker 5: I know.
- 23:15Speaker 3: Things about bisexuals, and they're not aligning with those two things.
- 23:20Speaker 3: I'm gonna need you to to stick to the stereotype.
- 23:24Speaker 4: Okay, that would be again, I'm just trying to push
- 23:27Speaker 4: your boundaries and I'm going.
- 23:28Speaker 2: To put poke hole in this too. I'm so sorry.
- 23:31Speaker 2: But two is a terrible number because that means that
- 23:34Speaker 2: it's going to be a standoff.
- 23:35Speaker 5: If there's a disagreement. We need odds, we need three.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Three, five.
- 23:38Speaker 5: So you're saying three, and back in the day.
- 23:41Speaker 2: Say three, I'm saying three.
- 23:42Speaker 5: And if we say ideation, this is what happens.
- 23:45Speaker 4: You get a vision, you get an idea and then
- 23:47Speaker 4: you poke holes and then we picks not stereotypical enough.
- 23:50Speaker 1: But we stopped doing enough. We stopped one on one.
- 23:53Speaker 1: We stopped one on one a long time ago. That
- 23:56Speaker 1: was pre nine to eleven, because.
- 23:58Speaker 3: One on one then it's like there's news. Then it's
- 24:00Speaker 3: like somebody has a bunch of conflicting things that exist
- 24:04Speaker 3: within their soul and exist within their inner life. And two,
- 24:08Speaker 3: but if it's three, then it's a rule.
- 24:11Speaker 1: And when it was one on one back in the day,
- 24:13Speaker 1: we had to hire that wrath and he was just greasy.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Right, and I also want.
- 24:17Speaker 1: To hear the raf like he had like decide who
- 24:20Speaker 1: wins if they're at a draw, and.
- 24:22Speaker 2: That just too many of the bag of chip kept
- 24:25Speaker 2: inviting me to trade shows on the weekend.
- 24:28Speaker 4: That he started getting like a following from yeah from Jubilee.
- 24:32Speaker 5: Well yeah, now he has Now he has his own
- 24:34Speaker 5: branded machete that he sells.
- 24:35Speaker 2: It's so weird.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Now I feel bad for people at foot locker. People
- 24:38Speaker 1: are going up to them going, are you a ref
- 24:39Speaker 1: at Jubilee? Yeah, And it's like, why can't we stop
- 24:41Speaker 1: the stereotype that stripes mean ref?
- 24:44Speaker 2: You know what I'm getting you.
- 24:48Speaker 3: That's a video.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Thirteen referees, one secret foot locker employee.
- 24:55Speaker 4: I would watch that. So you guys like that one?
- 24:58Speaker 4: So you guys like that one?
- 24:59Speaker 5: I want to I because you mad bro, You mad bro,
- 25:03Speaker 5: you mad bro.
- 25:04Speaker 3: I don't know anything about bisexuals and weights. And if
- 25:06Speaker 3: I'm asking questions, I'm not clicking.
- 25:08Speaker 1: Okay, and I know what.
- 25:10Speaker 5: That is to go back because we were done with yours.
- 25:13Speaker 2: But I'll come back. What are we doing? We're looking
- 25:15Speaker 2: at their shirts. They're wearing an extra large. Oh they're
- 25:16Speaker 2: two hundred pounds. What is this shirt?
- 25:18Speaker 5: It's just interesting?
- 25:21Speaker 3: No, okay, go to the cut with that ship.
- 25:23Speaker 5: Yeah, go to the fucking cut. I just think it's interesting.
- 25:27Speaker 5: And I've tried. I've tried. You guys know this.
- 25:29Speaker 4: Every week I apply to be on the cut.
- 25:33Speaker 2: You know what's brutal about the cut. What's brutal about
- 25:35Speaker 2: the cut is they never tell you know, they just
- 25:37Speaker 2: go that sounds amazing, We will call you.
- 25:39Speaker 5: Yes.
- 25:40Speaker 2: It's so mean.
- 25:41Speaker 5: Don't get from the cut?
- 25:44Speaker 1: Is you said that we clearly didn't like it, and
- 25:46Speaker 1: then we talked about it disliking something. What's wrong with
- 25:51Speaker 1: saying I dislike that?
- 25:52Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 25:53Speaker 3: What's wrong with saying I know what you look like,
- 25:56Speaker 3: I know what you act like. I'm going to say
- 25:59Speaker 3: something about it to your face.
- 26:01Speaker 2: ACTU believe being an external processor is technically a diversity
- 26:04Speaker 2: higher you have to process externally.
- 26:08Speaker 5: Literally, this is the process.
- 26:10Speaker 4: I mean, videos go. You can say a video and
- 26:12Speaker 4: it's made. We're gonna make that next week. Reference, you
- 26:14Speaker 4: can say a video and it's shot down. I mean,
- 26:15Speaker 4: I still remember when you guys shot down thirteen young
- 26:18Speaker 4: girls under the veil of ignorance decide what life they're
- 26:21Speaker 4: gonna live.
- 26:23Speaker 5: And I'm sorry that was important.
- 26:24Speaker 1: That was really important.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Ford shut that one down.
- 26:28Speaker 5: You shot that one down.
- 26:29Speaker 2: That sounds boss.
- 26:30Speaker 5: Do you want to do it? So I'm thinking thirteen thirteen.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Years, we're gonna do eighteen for thirteen. You put them
- 26:36Speaker 1: under the veil eighteen year olds for thirteen.
- 26:38Speaker 4: Okay, we're gonna do eighteen deals for thirteen. Easy, I'm
- 26:40Speaker 4: fin You put them under the veil of ignorance. You
- 26:42Speaker 4: put them under a condition where they don't know what
- 26:45Speaker 4: life they're going to be born into, and they have
- 26:46Speaker 4: to choose what they're gonna choose. So you get to
- 26:48Speaker 4: see if people will actually live in the dredge.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Hold on, this is divergent, idiot, No, No, it's not diversent.
- 26:56Speaker 2: I didn't just read divergent. I didn't just read it.
- 26:58Speaker 2: I swear to god.
- 26:59Speaker 4: I didn't just Rea stop pitching. Other girls would be
- 27:02Speaker 4: choosing as an emotion. This is divergent. I read weirdly.
- 27:10Speaker 4: H they're making these books that's one page divergent, one
- 27:13Speaker 4: type page run because they're so similar.
- 27:15Speaker 2: And that's cool.
- 27:17Speaker 5: Yeah, it's hard.
- 27:19Speaker 1: That was really fun. I mean that was a We
- 27:22Speaker 1: all have videos that we champion, right, and we still
- 27:25Speaker 1: champion and stuff.
- 27:26Speaker 5: That's I'm really pushing. If you show us a veil
- 27:30Speaker 5: that will show up on camera, great, Yeah. The problems
- 27:33Speaker 5: can't find the veils are just so hard to.
- 27:40Speaker 1: One that I'm really passionate about that. I'm I'm really
- 27:43Speaker 1: passionate about it because I want to dedicate it to
- 27:45Speaker 1: my wife if we make it, I want to get
- 27:47Speaker 1: a bunch of women and young girls in a room
- 27:50Speaker 1: and those and the day those girls start their period
- 27:54Speaker 1: and the day those older women start mental pause, Oh
- 27:58Speaker 1: my god, but it's you're the dialogue. I know it's
- 28:01Speaker 1: hard scheduling.
- 28:02Speaker 3: It's a hard scheduling.
- 28:04Speaker 5: I just don't even know how schedule that.
- 28:06Speaker 3: Because casting it the way that they have all of
- 28:10Speaker 3: these girls, eleven year old girls on on call and
- 28:15Speaker 3: these older women.
- 28:16Speaker 5: It's one of the worst things we've Those older.
- 28:18Speaker 1: Women have hormones and they're like, I think it's gonna
- 28:20Speaker 1: stop now.
- 28:21Speaker 5: Listen. We've been talking to or ring. They're not interested.
- 28:24Speaker 2: They want to. I asked if they could help. They
- 28:26Speaker 2: said they don't want to.
- 28:27Speaker 1: And you know who wants a foot in the game,
- 28:29Speaker 1: Liquid Death. Sorry, you have no space here. Yeah, this
- 28:32Speaker 1: is liquid You're not just for you the diog Liquid Death.
- 28:36Speaker 2: You're not going to be supporting a video about Vinchil cycles.
- 28:41Speaker 2: I know you guys like to be edgy water, but
- 28:43Speaker 2: this is.
- 28:43Speaker 5: Not the one.
- 28:44Speaker 3: This is not even We're like, this is not good.
- 28:47Speaker 1: That a couple of good pictures for Liquid Death spor
- 28:51Speaker 1: tons of Yeah, yeah, I liked half of these bisexual
- 28:57Speaker 1: people like a sparkling water. Half of these bisexual people
- 29:00Speaker 1: like straight tapwater. And the the amount of outreach we
- 29:04Speaker 1: did do to offer emails to find straight gay people
- 29:07Speaker 1: that liked tap water, it's hard. Sorry, that took me
- 29:10Speaker 1: a while to get that.
- 29:11Speaker 2: No, I have eight rockers drink tequila once secretly drinking water.
- 29:17Speaker 5: That's really fun. That was fun, like a mole situation,
- 29:21Speaker 5: like a mole situation.
- 29:22Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, well oh no, I mean I
- 29:26Speaker 3: love that. I had nine sober people and one who's
- 29:30Speaker 3: about to be and you guess.
- 29:31Speaker 5: Who, and you guess who? What's hey? Hey, Denise, Denise,
- 29:39Speaker 5: what's going on? My daughter moved out?
- 29:40Speaker 1: Oh stop? Wasn't that episode fun? But don't you wish
- 29:49Speaker 1: those people would just drop the voices, be themselves and
- 29:51Speaker 1: have a spelling bee?
- 29:52Speaker 5: Well, have we got news for you?
- 29:54Speaker 4: You can join our patreon at an artist on Artists
- 29:57Speaker 4: on Artists on artists on patroon dot com Patreon and
- 30:01Speaker 4: get exclusive backstage content, exclusive post shows where we just
- 30:05Speaker 4: frick around. And this season we've got an Oscar draft. Yeah,
- 30:09Speaker 4: we're going head to head and choosing who wins the Oscars.
- 30:12Speaker 1: See the airly good bye, oh bye bye bye.
- 30:19Speaker 3: No, Darcy, Darcy moved out?
- 30:24Speaker 7: Right?
- 30:24Speaker 5: Why did she move out?
- 30:25Speaker 3: She's sick of my shit? She said. She said she
- 30:30Speaker 3: wanted to go to this stupid dance Sadie Hawkins, and
- 30:33Speaker 3: I said.
- 30:35Speaker 5: You're still doing that?
- 30:36Speaker 3: So she was boys ass girls and she didn't like that.
- 30:40Speaker 3: She didn't like that response, and so she's she's so
- 30:43Speaker 3: sorry friend.
- 30:44Speaker 2: For the.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm so sorry.
- 30:49Speaker 3: Okay, she was.
- 30:50Speaker 1: Doing it with those affirmation boards you put in the kitchen.
- 30:53Speaker 3: I know, no, I I I said you you are
- 30:56Speaker 3: a girl, you are seventeen, you are a daughter of me.
- 31:00Speaker 3: You know things that would be very inspiring to.
- 31:03Speaker 5: So inspiring those three things.
- 31:05Speaker 1: I wish my mother looked at me and said you
- 31:07Speaker 1: are my son. Yeah, yes, yes, that's something out let.
- 31:15Speaker 2: Let it emerge from you.
- 31:16Speaker 1: Adopted people and non adopted people. Okay, yes, finally talk.
- 31:26Speaker 3: They fly talk.
- 31:27Speaker 5: That's good. That's really good.
- 31:30Speaker 3: Really good talking talking. They're not talking about it.
- 31:34Speaker 4: That's it's so sad that the divergence between adopted people
- 31:39Speaker 4: and non adopted peoples. So it's just a great book.
- 31:42Speaker 4: It's just especially when you're mixing Ma's Runner right to
- 31:45Speaker 4: mixing it that it's hard to relate mixed up a book.
- 31:48Speaker 4: It's hard to relate to that extra mix them two
- 31:50Speaker 4: books is you don't do a suicide and young adult books?
- 31:53Speaker 2: What are you doing? Yes, you do it?
- 31:55Speaker 5: That you guys are missing out. I'm telling you.
- 32:01Speaker 4: Books and other page I did it with to Kill
- 32:02Speaker 4: a Mockingbird and Shane it was amazing. Yeah, you cannot
- 32:07Speaker 4: follow a single fucking dan.
- 32:14Speaker 5: Oh my gosh, I love.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Should we talk about our yearly trip? Oh yeah, yes,
- 32:22Speaker 1: here our big eye up top.
- 32:25Speaker 4: Mister Jubilee, Doctor Jubilee, Doctor Jubilee.
- 32:28Speaker 3: We never see his face, but we hear his voice.
- 32:31Speaker 1: We hear his voice sounds a little bit like George Costanza.
- 32:34Speaker 2: Let's I'll do our best.
- 32:35Speaker 5: Doctor Julie, really quick, go down the line. And that's
- 32:41Speaker 5: so much like George exactly.
- 32:44Speaker 3: That's that's what George sounds like to me.
- 32:47Speaker 1: Yah, go ahead, Okay, here's doctor ju Guys, are daughter
- 32:51Speaker 1: moved out?
- 32:52Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 32:53Speaker 3: Please?
- 32:53Speaker 2: I think if George's daughter moved out, he'd sound like that.
- 32:58Speaker 2: Listen to me. You video has displeased me.
- 33:02Speaker 5: It's literally George.
- 33:05Speaker 1: Literally I got one thumbnail looked too normal.
- 33:18Speaker 5: It's always like bad Seinfelt.
- 33:21Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, it error error error.
- 33:30Speaker 5: Delete video delete video to normal.
- 33:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:37Speaker 2: I don't. Maybe I'm just figuring this out. Maybe he
- 33:39Speaker 2: doesn't sound like George. Stands up, but maybe he's watching Seinfelt.
- 33:44Speaker 3: He's watching Seinfeldt in the background. That's what it is.
- 33:49Speaker 1: Wait, I don't know. Let's play some of I got
- 33:52Speaker 1: some voicemail, I got some voice memo notes on our
- 33:55Speaker 1: last video.
- 33:56Speaker 3: Okay, let's I don't know.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Are you sure, let's listen. Let's listen. In the women
- 34:03Speaker 1: should be lined up from shortest to tallest.
- 34:10Speaker 3: Make what a puffy shirt?
- 34:13Speaker 4: Those are the notes back to my TV time Hello,
- 34:18Speaker 4: So that one.
- 34:19Speaker 5: It was clear to me. And it's kind of a
- 34:22Speaker 5: best of clip clip show.
- 34:29Speaker 1: I love clip shows. But I'll say, mister Jubilee, Doctor
- 34:33Speaker 1: Jubilee will pick a like a random tropical usually tropical destination,
- 34:38Speaker 1: and we go for a week and a half paid,
- 34:41Speaker 1: and boy, boy, are my feet tired?
- 34:45Speaker 3: Are tired from running?
- 34:46Speaker 1: It's it's like walking to the people.
- 34:48Speaker 3: He sends after us.
- 34:50Speaker 5: Hither is what he calls them. It is so fun.
- 34:55Speaker 1: His cronies hither and thither and they thither.
- 35:00Speaker 5: They're awesome.
- 35:01Speaker 3: It's really fun. He creates all of these like sort
- 35:03Speaker 3: of awesome challenges for us. Sometimes they're physical, sometimes they're mental.
- 35:09Speaker 3: Sometimes will be trapped in these sort of bear traps
- 35:13Speaker 3: we have to get out. Yeah, it really like tests
- 35:16Speaker 3: our mental agility.
- 35:17Speaker 4: Yeah, sometimes emotional testing. So crazy, your father in a
- 35:21Speaker 4: cage yeah, you're wearing you get what's going on? How'd
- 35:24Speaker 4: you get it? It's wild because I don't always remember
- 35:28Speaker 4: the weekend.
- 35:29Speaker 2: Yeah, but then I come back and I have literally
- 35:32Speaker 2: thousands of ideas.
- 35:33Speaker 5: So too many questions.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Do you remember? I have a flash of a memory
- 35:37Speaker 1: of us at a strip club, and my notes from
- 35:40Speaker 1: it are.
- 35:40Speaker 5: Big written, big, big letters.
- 35:43Speaker 1: Big letters, and I was writing big letters, and I
- 35:46Speaker 1: must have been thinking of some ideas.
- 35:48Speaker 4: I don't remember at all. What were some of the
- 35:50Speaker 4: ideas that you got from that trip that It.
- 35:52Speaker 1: Was hard to read them all because they're written so large.
- 35:56Speaker 1: But it was a lot of like.
- 35:58Speaker 4: Oh, that's where you got, uh, fourteen purebred dogs versus
- 36:01Speaker 4: one straight dog.
- 36:02Speaker 1: Yes, I looked in the eyes of a stripper and
- 36:05Speaker 1: I got the idea.
- 36:06Speaker 5: It was so fun that the purebreads had to guess
- 36:08Speaker 5: which one was the straight.
- 36:09Speaker 1: And it was cute the way they pawed.
- 36:12Speaker 2: It was nice. We could all learn something from them.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Yeah, But at the end of the day, that made
- 36:17Speaker 1: me uncomfortable because that's animal content. Yeah, that is not
- 36:21Speaker 1: human conversation.
- 36:23Speaker 3: That the animal planet.
- 36:25Speaker 1: But that's why I love these these vacations we go
- 36:27Speaker 1: on because it's.
- 36:28Speaker 4: Just like it gets us out of our It opens
- 36:30Speaker 4: up something so right, carnal and so innate in every
- 36:34Speaker 4: one of us.
- 36:35Speaker 5: It pours out with.
- 36:36Speaker 7: These big uncomfortable uncomfortable uncomfortable because if you're watching Jubilee
- 36:45Speaker 7: and you feel comfortable, you're watching it wrong.
- 36:48Speaker 3: You're watching it wrong. This is not for passive listening.
- 36:52Speaker 3: This is for being on the edge of your seat.
- 36:54Speaker 3: I would say, Also, what something that helps on the
- 36:56Speaker 3: trip is the potion we take?
- 36:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I love it.
- 36:59Speaker 1: Take it.
- 37:00Speaker 3: Oh, we don't know what it is, but it's green.
- 37:02Speaker 3: It tastes like fire, and you are filled with the
- 37:06Speaker 3: energy that you could lift a car. Yes, I remember flashing,
- 37:11Speaker 3: because I never remember the flight to the tropical location
- 37:14Speaker 3: or the flight home.
- 37:15Speaker 1: No, I never remembered it sup in my bed.
- 37:17Speaker 3: And then I'm somewhere else. I woke up on a
- 37:19Speaker 3: zip line, and I remember the potion. I saw a
- 37:25Speaker 3: monkey above me and he cut the line. But the
- 37:28Speaker 3: potion imbued me with the strength to uh see the
- 37:32Speaker 3: world in slow motion, and so I was able to
- 37:34Speaker 3: bounce from tree top to tree top to.
- 37:35Speaker 1: Tree because you were seeing because I was seeing it motion.
- 37:39Speaker 3: So it was like I could see all math, all time,
- 37:42Speaker 3: all everything, in front of me. And then when I
- 37:44Speaker 3: landed on the ocean, I came up with the idea
- 37:47Speaker 3: for five men, which of them sounds the most gay?
- 37:53Speaker 1: Rank has been one of our highest one of the
- 37:58Speaker 1: the discussions on that insane.
- 38:02Speaker 2: I remember taking the potion and I ship you not
- 38:05Speaker 2: looked in the mirror. I was a seventy five year
- 38:07Speaker 2: old Dominican woman. Yes, it was amazing. And what were
- 38:12Speaker 2: the videos that I came up with? This incredible video?
- 38:15Speaker 2: Twenty five single guys, one married girl. Will she cheat?
- 38:21Speaker 5: That is number two?
- 38:22Speaker 2: Told you that the Dominican woman said, this is going
- 38:24Speaker 2: to work very well.
- 38:27Speaker 3: I like when the potion apparitions hold your hands.
- 38:33Speaker 4: I've been trying to do a video of seven potion apparitions.
- 38:36Speaker 5: One non.
- 38:41Speaker 3: The rap for the rap, for the rap.
- 38:45Speaker 1: That's one for the rap. That's one for the rap man.
- 38:48Speaker 1: One day we will rap.
- 38:50Speaker 5: One day we will rap.
- 38:51Speaker 2: One day We're gonna rap.
- 38:52Speaker 5: We will we have we will.
- 38:53Speaker 4: Have asked every question and put every situation possible.
- 38:58Speaker 3: Every day at the end of work day, we asked,
- 39:00Speaker 3: mister Jubilee, we go into the chamber, and uh, those
- 39:04Speaker 3: of us who is the most holy, will go into
- 39:06Speaker 3: the chamber and we will ask mister Jubilee, is our
- 39:09Speaker 3: work finished yet? And we will get a yes.
- 39:11Speaker 2: Or a no.
- 39:12Speaker 5: And again, I'm just really biased against Mormons. I don't
- 39:15Speaker 5: get it. Wanted to upga because.
- 39:19Speaker 4: Kind of like.
- 39:21Speaker 3: I do.
- 39:22Speaker 1: Think we've been talking for a little bit. Now, does
- 39:24Speaker 1: anyone want to talk about how their bias have changed?
- 39:27Speaker 2: Check in? Yeah?
- 39:28Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, yeah.
- 39:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm still frustrated at the guy that honked at
- 39:33Speaker 1: me this morning.
- 39:34Speaker 4: Well, is there a video that would help you get
- 39:36Speaker 4: to the bottom of that feeling?
- 39:38Speaker 1: Maybe if we get a bunch of people who honk
- 39:40Speaker 1: a lotos.
- 39:42Speaker 3: Versus non honkers.
- 39:43Speaker 5: Yeah, what happens, it would do well.
- 39:45Speaker 2: Videos wassn honkers?
- 39:51Speaker 4: I love Our videos are titled forward, so that's going
- 39:55Speaker 4: to be title.
- 39:57Speaker 3: If you're watching more than five minutes of the video,
- 39:59Speaker 3: you're doing it wrong.
- 40:00Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I do have a current bias that's
- 40:03Speaker 2: kind of bubbling up. It's against people that walk into
- 40:06Speaker 2: a coffee shop and stop right at the entrance to
- 40:08Speaker 2: look at the menu instead of getting closer to the counter.
- 40:10Speaker 5: Lots of coffee shops.
- 40:11Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just a lot for me. This is cool right,
- 40:14Speaker 2: by the way, I'm just taking some of your chair.
- 40:17Speaker 2: That's cool.
- 40:18Speaker 1: I'll tell you this. It's cool because you asked that's
- 40:23Speaker 1: a video, that's a video. That's a video.
- 40:26Speaker 3: That's a video that actually would have been great for
- 40:29Speaker 3: the video we just dropped, which was consent.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Yeah, question mark and and that I will say. I
- 40:36Speaker 1: love that we started using emojis in our titles.
- 40:38Speaker 3: Yes, we're not taking a stand.
- 40:43Speaker 1: That guy with his hands up, we put him everywhere.
- 40:47Speaker 3: He's asking.
- 40:47Speaker 1: He's just, you know, bi romantic.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Look. Is it hard to search unless you have a
- 40:52Speaker 2: very specific type of MacBook?
- 40:54Speaker 5: Yes, and that's what we like.
- 40:57Speaker 2: We like.
- 40:58Speaker 1: But I'm loving these ojis. I loved when we did
- 41:01Speaker 1: eggplant or like small little Carrot and we put a
- 41:03Speaker 1: bunch of guys.
- 41:04Speaker 5: Yeah, and it's just.
- 41:06Speaker 1: Like let your brain go.
- 41:07Speaker 2: That was really good.
- 41:08Speaker 3: Yeah. I have a bias recently against daughters, so I'm
- 41:12Speaker 3: thinking we could do something with like, uh, ten daughters.
- 41:17Speaker 3: One of them is a bitch and you have to guess.
- 41:20Speaker 5: Who wait, and who is the you?
- 41:23Speaker 3: Yeah, you have to guess.
- 41:25Speaker 5: Like are the daughters guessing?
- 41:26Speaker 2: Who's a rare video where we don't actually reveal the which,
- 41:32Speaker 2: so that's you.
- 41:33Speaker 3: You need to decide you think you need to.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Have some potion for that idea, because I think that
- 41:38Speaker 1: idea is close, but it's not there yet.
- 41:40Speaker 5: I mean, we're not in Puerto Rico, but I know
- 41:42Speaker 5: I be careful.
- 41:43Speaker 1: But I think you're going through it, and I think
- 41:45Speaker 1: you should have some potion.
- 41:47Speaker 3: Okay, well, she.
- 41:55Speaker 2: Went wicked.
- 41:57Speaker 1: Sometimes with the green bushon.
- 42:00Speaker 5: Now she's trying to go wicked again but can't hit it.
- 42:03Speaker 5: She naturally went wicked, and now she's.
- 42:06Speaker 2: She's trying to do the cynthiavo one, but she doesn't
- 42:07Speaker 2: quite remember.
- 42:08Speaker 1: Ittel one's starting.
- 42:13Speaker 2: A little jersey boys.
- 42:15Speaker 5: I'll saw her.
- 42:17Speaker 3: Huh.
- 42:19Speaker 1: Ten biosexuals.
- 42:23Speaker 5: Of Christ.
- 42:26Speaker 3: It is right, that's it.
- 42:30Speaker 5: That's it.
- 42:33Speaker 3: Come back.
- 42:36Speaker 1: Smell sau smelling salts. It's just liquid.
- 42:39Speaker 3: I be she's a witch. Get her?
- 42:41Speaker 5: No, no, no, you're back, you're back. Where did I go?
- 42:44Speaker 2: Oh?
- 42:44Speaker 1: You went to wicked, you went to an idea, you went.
- 42:47Speaker 4: All You've had one of the best ideas I've ever heard,
- 42:49Speaker 4: that ever heard. Ten bisexuals. One question, which one is right?
- 42:53Speaker 2: What did you see? I saw?
- 42:57Speaker 3: I saw a man. He was one of those little
- 43:01Speaker 3: delivery robots who's on wheels and he gives postmates. But
- 43:10Speaker 3: you weren't there. You could tell he had the spirit
- 43:13Speaker 3: of a man. He reached out his call and he said,
- 43:18Speaker 3: come with me, and then we went. We went to
- 43:22Speaker 3: one of those adult trampoline rooms.
- 43:26Speaker 5: Which we love to go to.
- 43:35Speaker 3: Okay, what happens, and we jumped and we jumped and
- 43:38Speaker 3: we jumped, and I said, I'm tired. And then he said,
- 43:41Speaker 3: take my hand. I have an idea.
- 43:43Speaker 1: You killed it. And then I woke up. Yes, that
- 43:46Speaker 1: was it.
- 43:46Speaker 3: That was Oh my god, you guys, I feel amazing.
- 43:49Speaker 1: I really wish I could take more potion.
- 43:51Speaker 5: Every day, he said, your soul. Every time I'd be like, I.
- 43:59Speaker 3: Could save the world.
- 44:01Speaker 1: No zone, let's go about so much.
- 44:06Speaker 4: It's so it's a paradox because if you always take
- 44:10Speaker 4: ten percent, you'll never run out be a little bit.
- 44:12Speaker 2: You know what's fun. It's it's a yearly thing we
- 44:14Speaker 2: do and uh, it's it's always we do kind of
- 44:18Speaker 2: a farewell party, uh for people who have been in
- 44:21Speaker 2: the company ten years when they give away their soul.
- 44:23Speaker 5: When they finally give away enough of their soul that
- 44:25Speaker 5: we do a goodbye.
- 44:26Speaker 2: We celebrate their life as if they they're dead, because
- 44:29Speaker 2: their soul is gone.
- 44:30Speaker 3: And by the time the party is thrown, they don't
- 44:32Speaker 3: know what's happening to them, So it's kind of a
- 44:34Speaker 3: it's a it's a little bit of a bummer, but
- 44:36Speaker 3: you can tell that they are happy inside.
- 44:39Speaker 1: And we get to say we have nothing bunt cakes
- 44:41Speaker 1: and I love them.
- 44:41Speaker 2: Oh you're so good.
- 44:43Speaker 1: I love those bunch cakes.
- 44:44Speaker 2: How do they make them small? Like that?
- 44:46Speaker 3: Right? How do they make that? These are the kind
- 44:48Speaker 3: of things I wonder, how are they?
- 44:51Speaker 2: But honestly, I ain't never seen a cake that s
- 44:56Speaker 2: made bigger usually.
- 44:57Speaker 4: No, can we talk about some of these celebrit berties
- 45:00Speaker 4: that are coming in soon? Yeah, really quick, because as
- 45:03Speaker 4: we know, we love taking people that are viral on
- 45:06Speaker 4: the internet or studio celebrities, putting them in a room
- 45:09Speaker 4: and figuring out what video we can make with them.
- 45:11Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, about I'm excited that we're finally like
- 45:16Speaker 1: branching out into like a little bit higher of a
- 45:18Speaker 1: caliber of celebrity because like it's been like, I don't know,
- 45:22Speaker 1: we had the de Vinkie twins in for like a
- 45:23Speaker 1: month straight.
- 45:24Speaker 4: It was at a certain time. They just can't take
- 45:27Speaker 4: the moral quandaries.
- 45:28Speaker 3: Yes, no, no, they're like they're too.
- 45:31Speaker 5: Good it's so hard.
- 45:32Speaker 4: It was really mean for us to put them in
- 45:34Speaker 4: front of a room of very neoliberals and just talk
- 45:38Speaker 4: about the economy and the vinknky.
- 45:47Speaker 5: So what are you supposed to do on a microeconomic level.
- 45:49Speaker 5: We had them on that.
- 45:50Speaker 2: We had him in that room where they had to
- 45:52Speaker 2: debate twenty five people that had red flags, and I
- 45:54Speaker 2: would raise them to try to debate, and then they'd
- 45:56Speaker 2: come in and they were like, uh, the economy more
- 45:59Speaker 2: like vinky really hard.
- 46:02Speaker 3: When you flip the camera from vertical to horizontal, really
- 46:05Speaker 3: some things.
- 46:05Speaker 1: Some people don't have it. Some people don't have it.
- 46:07Speaker 2: I will say, I'm really really excited. We're going to
- 46:09Speaker 2: be doing a video which is ten of these things
- 46:13Speaker 2: are real and ten of these things are imaginary. And
- 46:16Speaker 2: our special guest is going to be that woman from
- 46:18Speaker 2: the airplane that screamed that motherfucker.
- 46:21Speaker 3: Is not real.
- 46:22Speaker 1: We finally got.
- 46:23Speaker 5: We called her and she is not excited to do this.
- 46:26Speaker 3: Trying to move on to be she's trying to move on,
- 46:30Speaker 3: but we gave her an offer amount of money. Amount
- 46:32Speaker 3: of money that is frankly evil.
- 46:34Speaker 5: So yeah, it's evil. You have to do it.
- 46:36Speaker 2: And that's why we pay other people poorly because we
- 46:38Speaker 2: pay certain people really well.
- 46:40Speaker 1: Yeah. I love our college student videos and I love
- 46:43Speaker 1: that we call them outreach, right, so we can pay
- 46:47Speaker 1: people like Vanessa Shay to come in into a video, and.
- 46:49Speaker 3: We could pay the college kids in college credit. This
- 46:52Speaker 3: is technically an internship.
- 46:53Speaker 4: Technically they get one half hour of internship with Yeah,
- 46:57Speaker 4: every video that they do, it's really incredible.
- 46:59Speaker 3: It's really awesome. Do you guys ever hang out with
- 47:02Speaker 3: the contestants.
- 47:04Speaker 5: All the time?
- 47:05Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 47:05Speaker 4: Really, It's like a fun thing that I do is
- 47:07Speaker 4: after every shoot, I invite them all out to drinks.
- 47:10Speaker 3: See.
- 47:10Speaker 1: I stopped doing that after I hung out with that
- 47:12Speaker 1: group of Lutherans.
- 47:13Speaker 5: Yeah, well they were tough. That was a tough day
- 47:16Speaker 5: on set.
- 47:17Speaker 2: They were really tough.
- 47:18Speaker 1: They were really tough, just big, big tough.
- 47:21Speaker 5: Guys, big twelve Lutherans dig a hole.
- 47:24Speaker 1: It was twelve Lutherans dig a big, big hole.
- 47:27Speaker 5: How deep?
- 47:28Speaker 1: And I was like, I got this. I grew up
- 47:30Speaker 1: in church. I got this. But I was like, my god,
- 47:32Speaker 1: these guys are tough.
- 47:33Speaker 2: I've gotten along with a lot of them. I connect
- 47:35Speaker 2: with them on a very deep level. I'm part of
- 47:36Speaker 2: a trivia group now with a bunch of dom daddies
- 47:38Speaker 2: that we had in and it's it's been so fun.
- 47:42Speaker 2: You know.
- 47:43Speaker 4: I think I'm really excited for One of the videos
- 47:45Speaker 4: that we're working on right now is we bring Ben
- 47:48Speaker 4: Shapiro in and make them look really good.
- 47:50Speaker 2: Yeah, really excited. Well, this is something we have to
- 47:52Speaker 2: talk about because Jubilee is pretty prominent in the political
- 47:56Speaker 2: space right now. Fortunately or unfortunately it remains to be seen.
- 47:59Speaker 3: It's been really fun to go politically.
- 48:01Speaker 5: It's it's never been.
- 48:03Speaker 2: A more fun time to wait into politics for us.
- 48:06Speaker 5: For us specifically.
- 48:08Speaker 4: And I love how many like right leaning and right
- 48:11Speaker 4: wing people were bringing in and making them look more center.
- 48:13Speaker 5: And that's like the fun thing.
- 48:15Speaker 3: I think.
- 48:16Speaker 1: It's like, let's make them look normal, god like at
- 48:19Speaker 1: least what if.
- 48:21Speaker 3: And we're also we're for the Ben Shapiro video, I mean,
- 48:24Speaker 3: his next one. We're physically making him look good. We're
- 48:26Speaker 3: bringing in a trainer, plastic surgeon, makeup ours. We are
- 48:30Speaker 3: yesifying the Ben Shapiro looks hot.
- 48:35Speaker 5: Yeahs a BBL. That's that's good. That's good.
- 48:41Speaker 2: Good. Can we do that?
- 48:43Speaker 5: Can we do that?
- 48:44Speaker 1: Can we do well?
- 48:45Speaker 3: We have that panel of plastic surgeons. Maybe we can
- 48:47Speaker 3: bring him in.
- 48:47Speaker 5: Oh yeah, and they are desperate to be back.
- 48:50Speaker 3: On camera, trying to hit on those plastic surgeons. I'm
- 48:53Speaker 3: trying to get something.
- 48:55Speaker 2: But you know what's funny. You have so much confidence
- 48:57Speaker 2: in the pin opticon and then you walk in and
- 48:58Speaker 2: you start stuttering like a little dope.
- 49:00Speaker 3: It's really hard. It's really hard because once you're faced
- 49:03Speaker 3: with the people and then they're real, it's like something changes.
- 49:07Speaker 2: It's weird.
- 49:07Speaker 5: I will say.
- 49:08Speaker 4: Also, like the political stuff has just been so juicy.
- 49:11Speaker 4: I love this video that we have coming up. Six
- 49:13Speaker 4: people that didn't vote for Kamala Harris debate, debate six
- 49:17Speaker 4: other people that didn't vote for Kamala Harris.

- 49:23Speaker 5: Thank god, we're finally having.
- 49:27Speaker 2: People aren't getting mad. I'm getting a lot of comments.
- 49:29Speaker 2: You know, I don't get everybody, you know we are.
- 49:32Speaker 2: We don't have email addresses. We just have uh like
- 49:35Speaker 2: front deska jubilee dot com and we all use it
- 49:39Speaker 2: just for transparentsparency.
- 49:40Speaker 4: So we get all the emails accounts on there, and
- 49:43Speaker 4: we cannot figure out how to turn off the YouTube emails.
- 49:46Speaker 5: I just want a new comment.
- 49:47Speaker 2: I just want a talk from a college girl and
- 49:49Speaker 2: deepop on there andfication.
- 49:53Speaker 3: That's actually probably a smart email to use.
- 49:55Speaker 1: I mean, it's really great. Rachel Maddow keeps emailing us back,
- 49:58Speaker 1: going which one of you is this? I won't respond
- 50:02Speaker 1: until I know there's a human back.
- 50:03Speaker 3: Then depending on who's responding, it's all exactly.
- 50:07Speaker 2: But yeah, I get some questions sometimes I'm seeing them
- 50:10Speaker 2: and everyone goes, hey, is this bad? Are you? Are
- 50:12Speaker 2: you having the wrong type of conversations? Why are you
- 50:16Speaker 2: doing this? What's going on? What's wrong with you? And
- 50:19Speaker 2: my response is always caught your thinking? You know, that's
- 50:23Speaker 2: the point.

- 50:50Speaker 3: Yes, it's fun.
