- 0:29SPEAKER_42: Tuesday has a feel, and welcome to the John Justice Show, presented by American Experiment.
- 0:36SPEAKER_42: If you want to take part in today's broadcast, you can do that by dropping us a blast to 612-584-4565.
- 0:43SPEAKER_42: Leave us an audio comment and we'll play those on the air.
- 0:46SPEAKER_42: You can, of course, email John.justice at AmericanExperiment.org.
- 0:50SPEAKER_42: We got a busy show today.
- 0:51SPEAKER_42: Uh, Representative Tom Emmer will be joining us right at the end of the show.
- 0:56SPEAKER_42: Right around uh 8 45, we will talk to um Emmer about the SCOTUS ruling in favor of ballot uh integrity regarding President Donald Trump's executive uh orders, given the fact that the Senate has been incapable of passing the uh SAVE Act.
- 1:14SPEAKER_42: So also we'll get uh Emmer's thoughts on uh Governor Jim Walls and his executive order.
- 1:20SPEAKER_42: A lot of it's uh uh executive order talk.
- 1:22SPEAKER_42: Uh his executive order on protecting, doing nothing with my fingers, uh, the mines.
- 1:26SPEAKER_42: And so uh Emmer joining us right around 8 45.
- 1:29SPEAKER_42: This hour I will get into the details of the SCODIS ruling, as I just mentioned.
- 1:33SPEAKER_42: Um, regarding mail-in ballots, what what does it mean?
- 1:37SPEAKER_42: Can this be implemented before the midterm elections?
- 1:41SPEAKER_42: I'll have all the answers for you, or at least as best I can.
- 1:44SPEAKER_42: We have a Iran update and some really good audio from Scott Jennings uh from his show yesterday that I want to share with you because he's of the opinion that we've essentially won the war against Iran.
- 1:57SPEAKER_42: And I'll let uh the audio speak for itself as he lays out his argument as to why that is the uh that is the case.
- 2:04SPEAKER_42: Also, we have an update on uh Mike Lindell and his uh primary uh recount uh efforts.
- 2:11SPEAKER_42: So the money was due yesterday, almost a million dollars, some$825,000,$835 uh.
- 2:18SPEAKER_42: And uh he did not uh pay.
- 2:21SPEAKER_42: And uh he is uh claiming that there are more illegal activities taking place when it comes to the uh to the state and the the recount process.
- 2:31SPEAKER_42: So we will get into that.
- 2:33SPEAKER_40: It's kind of sad, actually.
- 2:34SPEAKER_42: It's it is, it kind of makes me sad.
- 2:37SPEAKER_42: It's a little, it's a little on the pathetic side.
- 2:40SPEAKER_42: So we'll get into that uh later on uh later on in the hour.
- 2:43SPEAKER_42: We also have more uh Minnesota State Fair news, a couple days away from the start of uh the Minnesota State Fair.
- 2:49SPEAKER_42: And Bill Glawn, a senior fellow here at American Experiment, he actually did what I was incapable of doing yesterday.
- 2:57SPEAKER_42: I was trying to articulate my views on the lawsuit uh regarding the potential gang activity coming up on Saturday, and I did not articulate that the way that I wanted to yesterday on the show.
- 3:12SPEAKER_42: Thankfully, uh Bill Glawn came in with the save because he nailed in this article that I'll share after seven o'clock today.
- 3:20SPEAKER_42: He nailed what I was thinking yesterday, but was incapable of uh articulating, and I just blame I blame Mondays.
- 3:29SPEAKER_42: Producer Devin is with us this morning.
- 3:30SPEAKER_42: Good to see uh good to see uh Devin.
- 3:32SPEAKER_42: Glad he's here pushing the buttons today.
- 3:34SPEAKER_42: Um, and of course, like I said, I want to hear from you throughout the show.
- 3:36SPEAKER_42: You can watch at MN Think Tank on X.
- 3:39SPEAKER_42: You can watch on Facebook and YouTube at Center of the American Experiment and my personal pages.
- 3:44SPEAKER_42: Uh, best uh option to listen to the show live, just the audio feed, is through the Mix L R app, M-I-X-L R.
- 3:50SPEAKER_42: Download that app.
- 3:51SPEAKER_42: You can also get caught up on the podcast right there in the app.
- 3:54SPEAKER_42: The podcasts are, of course, posted across all the social media or excuse me, podcast platforms once the uh show is over.
- 4:00SPEAKER_42: And uh the replay of the of the video portion of the show is also available on those platforms as well.
- 4:06SPEAKER_42: I want to spend just a little bit more time talking about the America 250 indie race that took place yesterday.
- 4:13SPEAKER_42: I have a couple of audio clips because, as suspected, the the left freaked out over this event, and it's taken uh about 48 hours for the controversies to sort of catch up.
- 4:24SPEAKER_42: I also have some audio from uh the winner of the race on Sunday and uh one of the other podium finishers.
- 4:33SPEAKER_42: And I'm gonna label this uh normal people acting the way a normal person would in an abnormal situation of actually being able to go and meet the president.
- 4:44SPEAKER_42: I remember when I was a kid, like regardless of political party, regardless of whether or not you actually voted for the president or not, it used to be a thing in movies.
- 4:53SPEAKER_42: It was a it was a trope because it was the reality.
- 4:56SPEAKER_42: It was a big deal to meet the president of the United States.
- 4:59SPEAKER_42: Again, regardless of whether or not you voted for him.
- 5:02SPEAKER_42: Now, of course, we are far removed from that, but leave it to indie car racers and also foreign indie car racers to go and do what we Americans are apparently incapable of doing, especially relating to Donald Trump and those on the left, of just having uh a sense of respect for the presidency, regardless of whether or not you agree with them.
- 5:25SPEAKER_42: So, again, we'll share some audio of normal people acting the way a normal person would in kind of an extraordinary circumstance of meeting the uh the president.
- 5:33SPEAKER_42: Speaking of fast cars, though, I wanted to share this with you.
- 5:37SPEAKER_42: Talk about a lonely highway theory.
- 5:39SPEAKER_42: A driver was stopped in western Wisconsin traveling almost 60 miles per hour over the speed limit.
- 5:46SPEAKER_42: I actually think he's being honest with his excuse.
- 5:50SPEAKER_42: He said it was after a frustrating golf round.
- 5:54SPEAKER_42: I mean, you don't say that if you're trying to get out of a ticket.
- 5:56SPEAKER_42: You say that if that's exactly what happened.
- 5:58SPEAKER_42: So the Barron County Sheriff's Office says that one of its deputies recently pulled over a driver traveling 114 miles per hour in a 55.
- 6:10SPEAKER_42: I mean, that is flying.
- 6:13SPEAKER_42: That's that type of speed as an average individual in just your regular average automobile where everything just begins to slow down at that point in time.
- 6:23SPEAKER_42: And if you hit anything or and you know end up making some sort of course correction, you're kind of done for.
- 6:28SPEAKER_42: I want to know what kind of car he was driving.
- 6:30SPEAKER_42: It wasn't in the story.
- 6:31SPEAKER_42: Um, describing him, according to the charges, um, describing him as imitating the nearby airplanes.
- 6:41SPEAKER_42: The sheriff's office says he was asked why he was in such a hurry, and he responded by saying he had just left the golf course doing nothing with my fingers after playing a horrible round and quitting early because he lost a lot of his golf balls.
- 6:55SPEAKER_42: While we can attest that golf can frustrate all, we still can't get on the same page of going over double the speed limit like uh uh like that you just got home.
- 7:05SPEAKER_42: Yes, said the sheriff's office.
- 7:07SPEAKER_42: Next time, take the frustrations out on the uh driving range and not in the uh in the driving lane.
- 7:12SPEAKER_42: Yeah, you know what?
- 7:12SPEAKER_42: I've seen I don't know if they've been doing 114 miles per hour, but uh I kind of have I have multiple options here in Minnetonka to get home.
- 7:21SPEAKER_42: And so I'll kind of sometimes I'll jump up and I'll get on 494 and I'll hop up to like 92 and all that.
- 7:27SPEAKER_42: But like yesterday, you would have thought it was the Autobot man.
- 7:30SPEAKER_42: Just and you see them coming from a mile away.
- 7:34SPEAKER_42: I'm not even kidding, I'm in the middle lane, I'm doing over the speed limit in Monty.
- 7:39SPEAKER_42: That's my car.
- 7:39SPEAKER_42: I'm doing over the speed limit, not by a lot.
- 7:41SPEAKER_42: Because there's a state patrol officer that hangs out.
- 7:44SPEAKER_42: I see him at least a couple times a week right there, right?
- 7:46SPEAKER_42: But there's usually a lot of traffic.
- 7:47SPEAKER_42: So, you know, if you're going with traffic, you're not really worried about it.
- 7:49SPEAKER_42: And I can see this jack wagon in my rearview mirror in an SUV just coming flying up on my tail.
- 7:55SPEAKER_42: And there's cars in both lanes.
- 7:56SPEAKER_42: I'm like, dude, where are you gonna go?
- 7:58SPEAKER_42: What are you gonna do?
- 8:00SPEAKER_42: What's gonna happen?
- 8:01SPEAKER_42: And of course, what does he do?
- 8:02SPEAKER_42: He ends up tailgating me for a certain period of time.
- 8:05SPEAKER_42: I was in a good mood though.
- 8:06SPEAKER_42: I didn't go into Batman mode, which is typically what I would do.
- 8:11SPEAKER_42: I kind of just I just let it I let him go around me.
- 8:13SPEAKER_42: I didn't let it get on me.
- 8:14SPEAKER_42: I'm trying to be more patient.
- 8:16SPEAKER_42: It's a slightly longer drive coming into here to center of the American experiment than what I'm than what I'm used to uh to dealing with.
- 8:21SPEAKER_42: So since I'm on the road about 20 minutes longer every day when you do combined back and forth from home, I figured, you know, it was probably time that I make sure that I chill out just a little bit and not be worried about the uh cars around me.
- 8:33SPEAKER_42: It's what I tell my kids, so I might as well practice what I preach, right?
- 8:36SPEAKER_42: This article from Fox News, uh, it's a bit of an editorial, is what I wanted to share with you and then to get to the audio uh from the America 250 Indie race from over the weekend.
- 8:45SPEAKER_42: I talked about this yesterday with Andrew Langer, and it really was refreshing to see the level of respect from the broadcasters.
- 8:52SPEAKER_42: And again, I'm not the biggest indie car fan.
- 8:54SPEAKER_42: I've tried to get into it.
- 8:55SPEAKER_42: I don't have a particular driver.
- 8:56SPEAKER_42: Um, you know, I follow F1 and uh I like Lando Norris.
- 9:01SPEAKER_42: It's kind of who I look at as, you know, as the guy that I watch during the race, but I'm not like a hardcore fan like I am of, say, Alex Bowman in uh in NASCAR.
- 9:09SPEAKER_42: But I enjoy watching, you know, some IndyCar.
- 9:10SPEAKER_42: And I really enjoyed watching this race.
- 9:12SPEAKER_42: But as I talked about yesterday with Langer, it was just great to see the announcers talking about just how prestigious it was uh and how honored IndyCar was to be able to celebrate not only America's, you know, 250th, but the fact that this race was taking place on the streets in Washington, D.C., in front of these national monuments, in front of these museums and the White House and the Capitol.
- 9:38SPEAKER_42: Uh, this article here, let me share with you uh some of this editorial.
- 9:41SPEAKER_42: Uh they write in Fox News what was uh was that the most patriotic weekend of racing ever?
- 9:48SPEAKER_42: We haven't felt that since NASCAR ripped the July 4th Daytona race from our hearts and put it in August.
- 9:53SPEAKER_42: The guy's a big NASCAR fan, and NASCAR used to always have the Fourth of July race in Daytona, and it was a bit was it was awesome.
- 10:00SPEAKER_42: And unfortunately, they moved it.
- 10:02SPEAKER_42: It's actually happening this weekend now.
- 10:03SPEAKER_42: They moved it out of that July 4th uh spot.
- 10:06SPEAKER_42: Uh he goes on to say, I don't do this or say this often, but well done, IndyCar.
- 10:10SPEAKER_42: That's right.
- 10:11SPEAKER_42: I'm man enough to admit it.
- 10:12SPEAKER_42: I'm not the biggest IndyCar fan.
- 10:15SPEAKER_42: I'm not shy about that, but fair is fair.
- 10:17SPEAKER_42: I thought the Indy uh IndyCar absolutely nailed it this weekend in Washington, D.C.
- 10:22SPEAKER_42: And yes, liberals, that means Donald Trump nailed it too.
- 10:26SPEAKER_42: You can't really have one without the other, after all.
- 10:28SPEAKER_42: Trump said that Roger Penske, uh the motorsports titan, tried 211 times over the past 20 years to make this happen.
- 10:38SPEAKER_42: Now, the article writer goes on to say, odd number, but I believe it.
- 10:42SPEAKER_42: Trump never embellishes.
- 10:46SPEAKER_42: By my count, this was the third big race that Trump's uh been to since returning to office, right?
- 10:54SPEAKER_42: He was at the Daytona 500 last year.
- 10:56SPEAKER_42: He was also uh been at the Coke 600.
- 10:59SPEAKER_42: Sunday he waved the greed flag at flag at IndyCar's uh Freedom 250, an event decades in the making.
- 11:05SPEAKER_42: Rogers said they've been trying to do it for 20 years.
- 11:08SPEAKER_42: This is what President Donald Trump told uh Fox News uh reporter Jamie Little.
- 11:13SPEAKER_42: I think he told me they've been down about 120, excuse me, 211 times, but he came to see Trump and I got it done in about 15 minutes.
- 11:23SPEAKER_42: Now the writer goes on to say, hilarious.
- 11:25SPEAKER_42: I don't know if it's true, but it's funny.
- 11:27SPEAKER_42: He goes third person, President Donald Trump and his commentary to Jamie Little catches me off guard every time.
- 11:33SPEAKER_42: Anyway, Kyle Kirkwood won, which wasn't surprising given that he was the second odds on favorite to do so.
- 11:40SPEAKER_42: Folks quickly fell in love with him because he's just a normal, God-fearing American, which is becoming increasingly more difficult to find in sports.
- 11:51SPEAKER_42: Looking at you, WNBA.
- 11:55SPEAKER_42: Oh, also there was a bald eagle in Victory Lane.
- 11:59SPEAKER_42: Yeah, yeah.
- 11:59SPEAKER_42: It was pretty cool.
- 12:00SPEAKER_42: And of try, and of course, Trump was showing off the beast in the uh in the pre-race uh ceremonies.
- 12:06SPEAKER_42: So the guy that won had said, I'm a Florida guy.
- 12:09SPEAKER_42: I live in Jupiter, so it's cool to see him down here speaking to President Donald Trump.
- 12:13SPEAKER_42: Now he says Kirkwood could have been talking about Trump, but he could have been talking about Tiger Woods.
- 12:18SPEAKER_42: Who knows?
- 12:18SPEAKER_42: Jupiter is quite an area uh if you didn't know.
- 12:21SPEAKER_42: Uh in that moment, though, uh Kyle Kirkwood was actually pointing up to where the president and the first lady were seated watching the end of the race.
- 12:28SPEAKER_42: Anyway, it was an electric day in DC when it comes to these events.
- 12:33SPEAKER_42: The Freedom 250, NASCAR's foray into the Los Angeles Coliseum a few weeks a few years back, F1's inaugural race in Miami.
- 12:41SPEAKER_42: It's all about the pageantry.
- 12:43SPEAKER_42: It's an event, it's a spectacle.
- 12:44SPEAKER_42: The racing always takes a back seat.
- 12:46SPEAKER_42: You have to nail the first part.
- 12:48SPEAKER_42: And they did.
- 12:49SPEAKER_42: Well done.
- 12:50SPEAKER_42: And this is this again, dovetailing off of what I mentioned before, and just kind of backing up even further, the entire America 250 celebration this year.
- 13:00SPEAKER_42: It's really unfortunate because I don't think most people here in Minnesota, if you haven't traveled outside of the state, really got a good glimpse or gauge as to just how patriotic the rest of the country has been this year because of America 250.
- 13:18SPEAKER_42: And I won't uh go and tell the story in its entirety again, but in the uh two shows that we did uh prior to going live, we did two dry run shows, and those are both available to watch and listen to.
- 13:31SPEAKER_42: The first two podcasts and videos we made here on the show.
- 13:34SPEAKER_42: That again, we didn't air live live.
- 13:36SPEAKER_42: We were just testing the uh the equipment.
- 13:38SPEAKER_42: But I told the story in detail about taking the 10-day summer road trip, a road trip 2026 with my son Kyle, where we traveled from here through Denver and Utah down into Arizona, spent time with my mom, went out to California, spent time with my dad, and came back.
- 13:52SPEAKER_42: And I was personally just taken aback by how much America 250 imagery I saw, items available in grocery stores, out in the convenience stores, out in the out of the middle of freaking nowhere.
- 14:08SPEAKER_42: Like you'd be on the road, there wouldn't be, you'd be on those, on one of the stretches of highway when you would you'd see the sign where it says, you know, uh rest stop, next rest stop is like 150 miles down the line.
- 14:19SPEAKER_42: I saw that far, but it's like 60 miles.
- 14:21SPEAKER_42: And you would see something similar when it comes to uh these little convenience store areas, multiple gas stations in the middle of a of a of a highway in America where there's just not any cities around.
- 14:33SPEAKER_42: And, you know, you would pull over to go get gas.
- 14:36SPEAKER_42: The only things there would be like a subway, a couple of gas stations, the convenience store attached to it, and you walk in and they had just all kinds of America 250 merchandise for sale.
- 14:47SPEAKER_42: And I was completely unaware that this was going on, you know, in the in the rest of the country, driving through remote parts of Utah and small towns and hotels that you and I would never go and stay in because they just look too sketchy, and they had these big, beautiful America 250 banners on it.
- 15:06SPEAKER_42: We just don't get that here.
- 15:07SPEAKER_42: The DFL, the local media, they refused to go and be, you know, patriotic in any way, shape, or form because that is associated with those on the right.
- 15:18SPEAKER_42: And we saw the ugly side of that, and we'll have an update on this as well next hour.
- 15:22SPEAKER_42: We saw the ugly side of that in this completely unnecessary uh protest and riot that broke out in the middle of conservative, doing nothing with my fingers, provocateur Jake Lang and his free speech stunt and the chaos that ensued afterwards, where a guy just cycling through on his road bike that had an American flag hanging out of a backpack, he probably didn't even realize that it was there, ended up having the mob of antifa fascists descend upon him to check to make sure that he was on their right side.
- 15:54SPEAKER_42: Yeah, you tell me who are the fascists.
- 15:58SPEAKER_42: So here's the audio I wanted to share with you.
- 16:00SPEAKER_42: Again, this is, you know, this is normal people.
- 16:03SPEAKER_42: Normal as much as these are professional race car drivers, but you you get what I'm saying.
- 16:07SPEAKER_42: Normal people acting normal about something that's anything but normal, and that is meeting the president of the United States.
- 16:14SPEAKER_42: Here is uh here is Will Power, uh, probably one of the most well-known indie car drivers, uh, in his uh post-race uh interview.
- 16:24SPEAKER_36: What is it, I guess, kind of like to do that and then have to go race right away.
- 16:31SPEAKER_07: That was uh yeah, it's really something.
- 16:33SPEAKER_07: You know, you see the Secret Service, you see the cars pull up.
- 16:36SPEAKER_07: Um for some for me, being from a small town in Australia to end up standing and talking to an American president is surreal.
- 16:47SPEAKER_07: You know, something I would never have dreamed of.
- 16:49SPEAKER_07: So, you know, it was just yeah, incredible to stand there, talk to the president and the first lady, um, then jump in a race car and race in Washington, D.C.
- 17:00SPEAKER_07: So yeah, it's not uh yeah, maybe it'll get in the Toowomba Chronicle.
- 17:10SPEAKER_07: They might put it in a picture of me say shaking and President Trump's hand.
- 17:15SPEAKER_07: I mean, it's pretty crazy.
- 17:17SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 17:19SPEAKER_42: No politics, right?
- 17:22SPEAKER_42: That reporter, in my opinion, the intention there was to raise some controversy because this is the world that we live in.
- 17:30SPEAKER_42: This is how journalism is here in the United States.
- 17:33SPEAKER_42: You bring Donald Trump into the mix, and anybody meeting Donald Trump, and suddenly there's an issue to be had by those on the left.
- 17:39SPEAKER_42: And I guarantee you, if I go looking on X, I'll probably find more than a smattering of negative commentary over Will Powers' uh comments, where he just, again, acted like a normal person would when meeting the president of the United States.
- 17:55SPEAKER_42: It's just refreshing to hear.
- 17:56SPEAKER_42: Um, in his uh post-race interview, and I believe he was talking with Fox News, um, Kyle Kirkwood, who won the race, um, this is what he had to say and his comments about President uh Donald Trump as well.
- 18:07SPEAKER_39: It hasn't really settled in yet, right?
- 18:09SPEAKER_39: Like I won the race, I get out of the car, I see uh President Trump sitting there cheering me on as a proud American.
- 18:16SPEAKER_39: That's uh that's a that's a pretty big deal to have the president cheering you on.
- 18:20SPEAKER_39: Um nothing else like it, right?
- 18:22SPEAKER_39: Uh but that was not a hard that was not an easy race.
- 18:25SPEAKER_39: 147 laps is about double the distance that we typically do on street courses like this, and it's about 90 degrees outside, uh the humidity is pretty high.
- 18:35SPEAKER_39: You can expect about 30 degrees hotter in one of the cockpits of one of these indie cars.
- 18:40SPEAKER_42: I had the opportunity to go and uh and again that was Kyle Kirkwood, uh the indie car racer who won the race on on Sunday.
- 18:48SPEAKER_42: Uh, I had the opportunity last night to go talk with um the BPOU out of uh out of Blaine.
- 18:55SPEAKER_42: It's their monthly uh meeting.
- 18:56SPEAKER_42: And uh there was something in the midst of when I was speaking to the crowd there um that I kind of failed to mention.
- 19:05SPEAKER_42: And I I wanted to be positive.
- 19:07SPEAKER_42: Whenever I had the opportunity to go and speak to a group of individuals, especially those that are involved in um helping the candidates, uh, you know, helping uh you know, helping the election process.
- 19:19SPEAKER_42: Those that are doing the hard work is what I'm trying to say.
- 19:21SPEAKER_42: Those that are out there making the phone calls and canvassing and door knocking, those are the real heroes.
- 19:26SPEAKER_42: And we'll get into more of that coming up next hour with this controversy swirling around the guy who was dressed as Spider-Man who attacked uh Jake Lang on over the weekend and is now being uh, you know, um immortalized in imagery and coverage in the media.
- 19:42SPEAKER_42: We'll we'll we'll get into all of that because he's not a hero.
- 19:45SPEAKER_42: He's a punk.
- 19:46SPEAKER_42: He's a punk and he got arrested.
- 19:48SPEAKER_42: He just happened to be wearing a Spider-Man suit.
- 19:50SPEAKER_42: And I cannot have, I don't have any faith at all that Marvel will step in at this point in time.
- 19:54SPEAKER_42: They'll probably make a comic book based off of this.
- 19:56SPEAKER_42: And there's already imagery of that type of comic book that's floating around uh online.
- 20:00SPEAKER_42: But I was trying to be positive, and I was dovetailing off of a conversation that I had last week on the show, more of a narrative than a conversation about how there is a level of positivity regarding the state of Minnesota that I haven't heard coming from people in a long, long time over the course of the past several years for good reason.
- 20:17SPEAKER_42: A lot of it's just been about the negativity, especially stemming from the DFL trifecta and the damage that it did, and the fact that this last legislative session, you had a triority in the House, DFL had a majority in the Senate, and basically everything was stalled.
- 20:31SPEAKER_42: So there was no reversing any of the damage the DFL did during their trifecta.
- 20:36SPEAKER_42: There was just stopping them from doing any further damage.
- 20:40SPEAKER_42: You know, and in the wake of that trifecta, you had all of the commentary and the articles and the data showing the number of individuals leaving the state.
- 20:49SPEAKER_42: And I believe what we have left are people that are committed to Minnesota.
- 20:52SPEAKER_42: And because of that, you're hearing a lot more, a lot more, you're hearing a positive attitude that you didn't hear before in the midst of still wanting to go and tackle all these issues.
- 21:03SPEAKER_42: And this is what I was attempting to convey to the group last night at the at the ballpark restaurant in uh in Blaine.
- 21:10SPEAKER_42: But there's something else I want to add to this that I didn't get to talk about last night.
- 21:14SPEAKER_42: And that is this positivity isn't exclusive to uh Minnesota.
- 21:21SPEAKER_42: I'm also seeing it within anecdotal stories surrounding the controversies that we're faced with uh every single day.
- 21:31SPEAKER_42: All of that is a really convoluted say uh way of saying that I'm seeing a level of common sense enter back into the social zeitgeist that I have not seen in years.
- 21:44SPEAKER_42: And this is a this is a um in direct correlation to President Donald Trump's second term.
- 21:52SPEAKER_42: It's a direct correlation to Republicans having power.
- 21:55SPEAKER_42: Uh, it's also an example that it takes a little while to go and turn the ship around.
- 22:00SPEAKER_42: You had four years of Joe Biden making this incredibly far left turn that has resulted in what could be pending disaster for Democrats, with the rise of the Democrat socialists co-opting, taking over the party, the communists infiltrating, while at the same time you see Republicans, you see conservatives staying steadfast in their beliefs and moving forward and the positive ramifications of that.
- 22:27SPEAKER_42: You're going to see the controversy.
- 22:29SPEAKER_42: You're going to see the pushback.
- 22:31SPEAKER_42: Whether we're talking about NBA sports, whether we're talking about what's taking place over the over the weekend.
- 22:37SPEAKER_42: But you're also seeing this level of common sense that you just haven't heard in a long, long time.
- 22:44SPEAKER_42: As a matter of fact, let me go, let me go here.
- 22:46SPEAKER_42: I had this clip and I wasn't sure where I was going to share it with you.
- 22:50SPEAKER_42: I found it yesterday.
- 22:51SPEAKER_42: I don't know how old it is.
- 22:53SPEAKER_42: I think it's relatively new, but it caught my attention.
- 22:55SPEAKER_42: I was like, oh, this is worth sharing on the on the show.
- 22:58SPEAKER_42: And again, I'm not knowing exactly where I wanted to attach it.
- 23:02SPEAKER_42: Um, I can put it right here because it fits.
- 23:04SPEAKER_42: So on the Joe Rogan podcast, uh, Billy Bob Thornton, the the actor and also musician, he he fancies himself as being a musician.
- 23:14SPEAKER_42: I know he's released a lot of albums.
- 23:15SPEAKER_42: He's kind of like Kevin Bacon is a musician and an actor, too, right?
- 23:18SPEAKER_42: So uh this is a brief conversation that I found online.
- 23:21SPEAKER_42: Again, I don't know if it's new.
- 23:22SPEAKER_42: I think it's one of the more recent Joe Rogan podcasts, but I could be wrong.
- 23:25SPEAKER_42: But it's speaking to what I am talking about right now and this return of common sense in the midst of a society that's more polarized and divided as ever.
- 23:35SPEAKER_42: I am seeing these cracks of sunlight showing that the country is going through a level of healing for lack of a better way to describe it, without getting too touchy-feely.
- 23:46SPEAKER_42: But listen to this exchange between Joe Rogan and uh Billy Bob Thornton.
- 23:50SPEAKER_42: I got to kick out of it.
- 23:50SPEAKER_42: That is thrown you in jail, you know.
- 23:53SPEAKER_11: But um there's something about having heroes that you that are unattainable for you.
- 23:59SPEAKER_11: That way they can stay in that magic spot.
- 24:01SPEAKER_11: So I think we've lost magic and mystery and all these things.
- 24:05SPEAKER_35: Well, it certainly happens when you hear actors talk about politics.
- 24:08SPEAKER_35: When actors become activists, it's like, okay.
- 24:11SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 24:12SPEAKER_11: Oy.
- 24:13SPEAKER_11: Oy.
- 24:14SPEAKER_11: I donate to a lot of charities, mainly children's stuff, but nobody knows it.
- 24:18SPEAKER_11: I I don't go to the award show and talk about it when I'm getting my award.
- 24:23SPEAKER_11: It's like it's like Ricky Gervais said in that skit of his, you know, he said uh he said, look, you know, come up here, accept your little award, and fuck off.
- 24:33SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 24:34SPEAKER_11: You know?
- 24:35SPEAKER_11: I I think, first of all, unless you have really studied stuff and really know about a subject fully, uh who the hell would want to listen to an actor or a musician talk about politics?
- 24:49SPEAKER_11: You know what I mean?
- 24:50SPEAKER_11: It's like are are we supposed to follow this?
- 24:53SPEAKER_11: I mean, uh if we are, what if they lead you down the wrong road?
- 24:57SPEAKER_11: And you know, and and politically, I'm not a I call myself a radical uh moderate.
- 25:03SPEAKER_11: I I'm like very strong in my opinions.
- 25:06SPEAKER_11: But my opinions don't belong to any political party.
- 25:11SPEAKER_11: And uh, you know, I just look at what makes sense.
- 25:14SPEAKER_11: And I think we need a common sense party in this country.
- 25:17SPEAKER_11: That's actually what I think we need.
- 25:19SPEAKER_11: It's just figure it out.
- 25:21SPEAKER_11: It's pretty easy to figure out what this is all about, you know.
- 25:25SPEAKER_35: A non-ideologically captured party.
- 25:28SPEAKER_42: And to Billy Bob Thornton's point, like why would you listen to any uh actor, actress, or even musician when it comes to politics?
- 25:37SPEAKER_42: Like if the individuals are successful, they probably do not have enough time to really get into the issues.
- 25:44SPEAKER_42: And this rings true when we'll talk about the SCOTUS ruling in favor of election integrity when it comes to mail and ballots and Trump's executive order.
- 25:53SPEAKER_42: You know, even people that follow this stuff, you know, don't necessarily immediately go and take the time to find out exactly what the ruling means.
- 26:02SPEAKER_42: And therefore, when you immediately begin to see the narratives form online, you either go one way or the or the other when the details matter.
- 26:12SPEAKER_42: And just like why would you listen to any actor or actress or musician talk about politics?
- 26:17SPEAKER_42: You also shouldn't listen to anybody who is suffering from Trump derangement syndrome on a daily basis when they want to go and opine on politics.
- 26:32SPEAKER_13: They're going to get another trifecta because MAGA, you have abortion derangement syndrome.
- 26:39SPEAKER_42: That is comical, by the way.
- 26:43SPEAKER_42: Absolutely comical, because I was saving this for later in the show.
- 26:47SPEAKER_42: But if you've been on X as of late, the the the call must have gone out.
- 26:53SPEAKER_42: There must have been a strategy meeting by Democrats because you're seeing the likes of I say prominent doing nothing with my fingers.
- 27:01SPEAKER_42: These are well-known names within the DFL.
- 27:04SPEAKER_42: Either individuals who used to serve in the legislature or are currently serving in the legislature, but you got, you know, socket wrenches like Jamie Long and Ryan Winkler, for example, over the course of the past 24 hours.
- 27:15SPEAKER_42: They've been putting out these posts, coming up with these ridiculous scenarios surrounding Lisa Damath and abortion.
- 27:23SPEAKER_42: Basically making the claim that if Lisa Damath is elected as governor, she'll overturn, she'll implement the most extreme lifting of the abortion restrictions.
- 27:35SPEAKER_42: Or she'll put in the most extreme abortion restrictions.
- 27:38SPEAKER_42: I gotta go the other way on that.
- 27:39SPEAKER_42: My apologies.
- 27:40SPEAKER_42: When Lisa Damath would have no power or any say over abortion whatsoever in the state of Minnesota if she were elected governor any more than Amy Klobuchar would, but they're out there spreading that lie and information and disinformation.
- 27:52SPEAKER_42: And yet here you have, you know, the voice disguised disguised Eric from Brainerd talking about the Republicans having abortion derangement syndrome.
- 28:02SPEAKER_42: Now he's referring to Michelle Tefoya, which he gets into here in just a moment, but I'll address that.
- 28:06SPEAKER_42: I'll address that as well.
- 28:07SPEAKER_13: Look online.
- 28:08SPEAKER_13: Literally, you guys are coming out of the woodwork and attacking everyone, saying you're not going to vote vote for Michelle Tefoya and supporting race and incest.
- 28:19SPEAKER_42: Um, that is a uh ridiculous notion when you look back at the primary results and you consider the fact that Michelle Tefoya is still overwhelmingly one, decidedly one, against the other GOP Senate candidates, even though her stance on abortion is well known.
- 28:37SPEAKER_42: The individuals that you see online who are conservatives and don't want to vote for Michelle Tefoya because of her uh stance on abortion, which is everybody's right to go and do so, obviously, um, those are a very, very small minority just because you see them online.
- 28:53SPEAKER_42: When you begin to break down the number of people that say are actually on X, you're looking at much less than 10% of the voting populace.
- 29:00SPEAKER_42: Those that actually go and vote are actually on the social media platform.
- 29:03SPEAKER_42: And then you break that down even further to the individuals who are not able to, in their view, hold their nose and vote for Tefoya.
- 29:11SPEAKER_42: It's not going to make any sort of significant difference in this upcoming election.
- 29:14SPEAKER_42: As a matter of fact, that may actually benefit Michelle Tefoya for those that would much rather see somebody who is competent and sane and has a good view of the future of Minnesota over an individual who's kind of a lunatic and crazy like Peggy Flanders.
- 29:31SPEAKER_13: Uh, didn't think I'd see that again for after the Jensen failure of a campaign, but nope, you're doing it again.
- 29:37SPEAKER_13: And now we're gonna give them another try-spect because you guys can't be a little pro-choice um absolutely longers.
- 29:45SPEAKER_13: So, yep.
- 29:46SPEAKER_13: Once again, taking just victory from the jaws of defeat or whatever the phrase is.
- 29:52SPEAKER_13: Come on, guys.
- 29:53SPEAKER_13: I can't believe it.
- 29:54SPEAKER_13: That's crazy.
- 29:55SPEAKER_42: Yeah.
- 29:56SPEAKER_42: You need to do a little bit more uh more research.
- 29:59SPEAKER_42: Yeah.
- 30:00SPEAKER_42: You need to dig a little bit deeper and get get your Trump derangement syndrome, you know, as try to remove as much of the Trump derangement syndrome that you deal with uh as possible because it really is, it's clouding your your thinking on almost every single level.
- 30:14SPEAKER_42: But I appreciate the fact that you uh listened to the show.
- 30:17SPEAKER_42: Let's go back to some more of your thoughts from the blaster line this morning here on the John Justice uh show presented by American Experiment.
- 30:24SPEAKER_25: Good morning, John.
- 30:25SPEAKER_25: The left has to get the through their fixed call.
- 30:28SPEAKER_25: All these people that are coming over the border illegally over uh the years, the millions of them are not coming here because this is the worst country in the world.
- 30:39SPEAKER_25: They're coming here because it is the best country in the world.
- 30:44SPEAKER_25: They're not coming here for any other reason other things to make their life better.
- 30:50SPEAKER_25: We can come here legally the greatest thing.
- 30:55SPEAKER_25: You gotta come here legally and do it.
- 30:57SPEAKER_25: And we'll welcome them in.
- 30:58SPEAKER_25: But don't come here and free load islands because we know it's the greatest country in the world.
- 31:03SPEAKER_25: They know it's the greatest country in the world.
- 31:06SPEAKER_25: Why don't you liberals understand it's the greatest country in the world?
- 31:11SPEAKER_42: Now I agree with you um on that, on that, Richard.
- 31:15SPEAKER_42: I I absolutely do.
- 31:16SPEAKER_42: But let me let me add something to this, and I'm getting a little bit ahead of myself because I have commentary relating to immigrations and customs enforcement that this comment that uh that my uh view here and my thoughts are kind of attached to.
- 31:29SPEAKER_42: But let me just let me take what you said there and expand it a little bit further.
- 31:33SPEAKER_42: Um, you're right, people do come into the United States of America because they are the greatest country in the world.
- 31:38SPEAKER_42: A part of that is people that are escaping their own countries that are in squalor and have been for uh decades, have been for generations for a number of different reasons.
- 31:49SPEAKER_42: And they're coming here to America because, yes, we are the greatest country in the world, but there's also a lot of people that are coming here to take advantage of our generosity.
- 31:57SPEAKER_42: And the Democrats have been allowing those individuals to take advantage of our generosity for far too long.
- 32:04SPEAKER_42: And I'll get into the further details of this coming up as we get into an immigration uh update.
- 32:08SPEAKER_42: But you do mass deportations, and I have details on the number of individuals and who exactly is going to be deported under this uh temporary protected status being revoked, and it's the worst of the worst.
- 32:23SPEAKER_42: But when you look at issues like affordable housing, when you look at issues of crime, certainly when you look at issues of fraud, you tackle the immigration problem, and we are taking the biggest first step as possible to deal with that particular issue, especially when it comes to the home value uh issue that Democrats are trying to make hay over.
- 32:45SPEAKER_42: What they don't want you to know is that we don't have a housing shortage.
- 32:50SPEAKER_42: We don't.
- 32:50SPEAKER_42: Houses are just too expensive.
- 32:51SPEAKER_42: People can't afford them.
- 32:53SPEAKER_42: You begin to do mass deportations, you're gonna see the housing market free up and you're gonna see those home values plummet and you're gonna see those prices get reduced.
- 33:01SPEAKER_42: Why do you think the city of Minneapolis is gonna have to jack up homeowner uh your your homeowner taxes, right?
- 33:11SPEAKER_42: Some 20% because of this very issue.
- 33:17SPEAKER_42: Because of their budget problems.
- 33:19SPEAKER_42: A lot of it, which is a lot of it that's attached to the issue of immigration, not just illegal immigration, but immigration in and of itself.
- 33:25SPEAKER_42: So we'll get into more of this coming up on the show.
- 33:27SPEAKER_42: I do want to get to a few more of your thoughts from the blaster line uh this morning uh here on the show.
- 33:34SPEAKER_25: First of all, Eric Al from Brainerd.
- 33:40SPEAKER_25: Um but they're trying to turn it all into an abortion debate because they know that they can get the terrified super fired up about it.
- 33:48SPEAKER_42: Yeah, no, you're absolutely right.
- 33:49SPEAKER_42: They're basically just making up garbage relating to abortion because they need something, especially in the Damuth race, and they can't use it in the Tefoya race, which kind of pushes back on Eric from Brainerd as as well.
- 34:03SPEAKER_42: They need something to go and fire up their base over, and so they're gonna try to freak them out over abortion, even though that issue has been pretty much taken off the off the table.
- 34:12SPEAKER_42: And the governor's office wouldn't have any say in it uh either way.
- 34:16SPEAKER_42: That's good news for Republicans.
- 34:18SPEAKER_42: If the Democrats are having to, and again, it's easy to lie, all they have to do is start talking.
- 34:23SPEAKER_42: But if these are the tactics that the Democrats have to resort to right now in order to try to gin up support from their base, then it means that the Republicans are doing probably better than most people are expecting right now.
- 34:37SPEAKER_42: And that's probably coming from their internal uh polling numbers.
- 34:42SPEAKER_42: All right, let's go here.
- 34:45SPEAKER_42: So this was in Newsmax this morning.
- 34:47SPEAKER_42: The University of Chicago political scientist Robert Pape warns that President Donald Trump's doing nothing with my fingers.
- 34:53SPEAKER_42: Economic D-Day campaign against Iran will backfire.
- 34:57SPEAKER_42: Oh no.
- 34:59SPEAKER_42: As you can tell, I'm not really taking this dude's uh opinion seriously, and I'll tell you why in just a moment.
- 35:04SPEAKER_42: Uh, this is leading to uh retaliation, leading to retaliation, he believes, and a prolonged regional war.
- 35:11SPEAKER_42: Pape argues that the economic pressure alone is unlikely to force Iran to capitulate and could strengthen its political determination.
- 35:19SPEAKER_42: He also highlights the potential for retaliation against the shipping and energy infrastructure, which could have severe economic consequences.
- 35:27SPEAKER_42: Now, going back to what I mentioned a moment ago, and that is most people will not bother to do any sort of research on something like this.
- 35:34SPEAKER_42: They will see an article like this in Newsmax, and that includes conservatives.
- 35:37SPEAKER_42: They will see this and they will go, oh my gosh, this University of Chicago political scientist says that what Trump wants to do isn't going to work.
- 35:46SPEAKER_42: Oh, why is the president doing this?
- 35:48SPEAKER_42: And then, you know, the mind reels in all of this, right?
- 35:51SPEAKER_42: Listen, just because an individual is with a university and has uh a uh a title of political scientist doesn't mean that while they're highly educated, it doesn't mean that they're smart.
- 36:02SPEAKER_42: It also doesn't mean that there aren't other ancillary factors as to why they may go and make an opinion like that.
- 36:07SPEAKER_42: Case in point, there was a dude yesterday, he's a local.
- 36:11SPEAKER_42: I don't know if I can find it, uh find it fast enough here.
- 36:15SPEAKER_42: I've got X uh open.
- 36:17SPEAKER_42: Uh I commented on it because it was one of the most ridiculous uh uh pieces of commentary that I had seen online in a uh in a while.
- 36:27SPEAKER_42: But he was talking about Ilhan Omar.
- 36:31SPEAKER_40: And I think maybe I've got it.
- 36:36SPEAKER_42: Oh no, I don't.
- 36:38SPEAKER_42: Anyway, basically his comment was it was in reference to the fact that uh President Donald Trump was looking to do an investigation into Ilhan Omar, and this local political science dude had made a comment um pushing back on that assessment, pushing back on Trump's efforts to look into the background of Ilhan Omar and whether or not she is actually here in the country uh legally or not.
- 37:05SPEAKER_42: And then he said he went so far as to say we must protect her at all costs.
- 37:11SPEAKER_42: I found that hysterical given the fact that Ilhan Omar would certainly not feel the same way about this white liberal professor.
- 37:21SPEAKER_42: There's no way that she would go out of her way to lay down her life to protect this individual.
- 37:27SPEAKER_42: Quite the contrary, actually.
- 37:29SPEAKER_42: I'd be of the most deluded commentary that I had seen, that was certainly one of them.
- 37:36SPEAKER_42: So when it comes to this University of uh Chicago political scientists who warns about uh Trump expanding the war, I did the digging so you didn't have to.
- 37:44SPEAKER_42: Um, first off, he's an author and has a new book out regarding uh foreign affairs and and Iran.
- 37:51SPEAKER_42: So as uh somebody who knows, selling books is hard.
- 37:55SPEAKER_42: I have a seven-book science fiction uh space opera series, and I've sold my fair share of books.
- 38:00SPEAKER_42: Don't misunderstand, but it's not something that just happens.
- 38:03SPEAKER_42: You have to really work at selling books.
- 38:05SPEAKER_42: Um, on top of that, he was also a former um uh advisor to President Barack Obama.
- 38:13SPEAKER_42: So I think that tells you all you need to know about this dude's assessment over uh Trump's planned economic D-Day campaign.
- 38:20SPEAKER_42: Uh, with that said, I trust the views and uh opinions of uh individuals like Scott Jennings long before I'm going, I'm gonna go and trust a former advisor and a political science professor at the University of Chicago.
- 38:36SPEAKER_42: Here's what Scott Jennings had to say recently on his show regarding just how the war with Iran is going right now.
- 38:43SPEAKER_34: And I believe this announcement may confirm something that many in our political class refuse to acknowledge.
- 38:50SPEAKER_34: The United States has won the war against Iran.
- 38:54SPEAKER_34: Wars are won when one side achieves its strategic objectives and the other loses the ability to achieve its own.
- 39:03SPEAKER_34: Iran entered this war with four great pillars of strength its nuclear program, its missiles and drones, its regional terror network, and its ability to hold the world economy hostage through the Strait of Hormuz.
- 39:17SPEAKER_34: Every one of those pillars has been severely damaged or outright destroyed.
- 39:24SPEAKER_34: But Democratic Senator Chris Murphy, Democratic Senator Chris Murphy sees it differently.
- 39:31SPEAKER_34: Listen to him on Meet the Press this weekend, cut seven.
- 39:34SPEAKER_06: Donald Trump has lost this war.
- 39:37SPEAKER_06: America is weaker, Iran is stronger, the price to reopen the strait increases by the day.
- 39:58SPEAKER_34: Even though it's clear the opposite is true.
- 40:01SPEAKER_34: Has Iran built a nuclear weapon?
- 40:03SPEAKER_34: No, and they couldn't build one for decades based on the destruction wrought by the United States and Israel.
- 40:10SPEAKER_34: Has Iran defeated the United States military?
- 40:12SPEAKER_34: No, quite the opposite.
- 40:14SPEAKER_34: The Navy is fully sunk.
- 40:15SPEAKER_34: The army is decimated.
- 40:18SPEAKER_34: Has it driven the United States Navy out of the Strait of Hormuz?
- 40:22SPEAKER_34: No.
- 40:22SPEAKER_34: Our ships travel at will.
- 40:25SPEAKER_34: Is Iran able to stop oil from moving in and out of the Strait?
- 40:28SPEAKER_34: No.
- 40:29SPEAKER_34: In fact, millions of barrels of oil are transiting the Strait of Hormuz every day, more and more every day.
- 40:36SPEAKER_34: In fact, the Iranian military has been devastated.
- 40:39SPEAKER_34: Its missile and drone attacks have dramatically declined.
- 40:43SPEAKER_34: Its economy is disintegrating, and its neighbors are aligning against it.
- 40:48SPEAKER_34: Yet Chris Murphy and Hakeem Jeffries and Corey Booker and virtually every other Democrat want you to believe that America has lost.
- 40:58SPEAKER_34: This is what Trump hatred has done to the Democratic Party.
- 41:02SPEAKER_34: But there is something deeply wrong with allowing partisan hatred to make you so emotionally invested in American failure.
- 41:12SPEAKER_34: Especially when that leads you to openly lie to the American people about what's actually going on here.
- 41:19SPEAKER_42: Yeah.
- 41:21SPEAKER_42: I trust uh Scott Jennings' uh view on how things are are going more than I do a liberal professor who's trying to sell a lot of books.
- 41:31SPEAKER_42: I found that post, by the way.
- 41:33SPEAKER_42: So this was Thomas Longdale.
- 41:36SPEAKER_42: Uh I'll give you.
- 41:37SPEAKER_42: Oh, here we go.
- 41:37SPEAKER_42: Let's see.
- 41:38SPEAKER_42: What is his uh I'm allowing the uh he's an associate professor of critical media studies at the University of Arizona, excuse me, of Minnesota.
- 41:47SPEAKER_42: Super dad, he slash him.
- 41:50SPEAKER_42: And he also says the uh personal was always political.
- 41:53SPEAKER_42: That's his uh credibility statement.
- 41:55SPEAKER_42: Well, it's the he him that sold me on that.
- 41:57SPEAKER_42: This is what he posted uh yesterday.
- 41:59SPEAKER_42: Congrats, GOP.
- 42:00SPEAKER_42: You just declared a civil war.
- 42:02SPEAKER_42: The people stand behind Ilhan Omar.
- 42:05SPEAKER_42: We will put our bodies on the line to protect her.
- 42:10SPEAKER_42: Yeah, you'll do so to your own demise.
- 42:14SPEAKER_42: My response was the delusion is real, as she'd never do the same for you.
- 42:19SPEAKER_42: Quite the opposite, actually.
- 42:23SPEAKER_42: Or actually, as Ilhan Omar would would say.
- 42:26SPEAKER_42: All right.
- 42:27SPEAKER_42: So uh so thank you to Scott Jennings for allowing me the opportunity to go find that post on uh on X.
- 42:31SPEAKER_42: We'll get back to uh more of your thoughts from the uh blaster line in uh in just a moment here on the show, 612-584-4565.
- 42:40SPEAKER_42: Um, I do want to talk about Neutral Wave.
- 42:42SPEAKER_42: If you've gone through the yo-yo dieting before, it can all stop today.
- 42:46SPEAKER_42: Make the phone call to NeutralWave, the NeutralWave program, N-U-T-R-I-W-A-V-E.us.
- 42:52SPEAKER_42: You can find out more there at the website.
- 42:54SPEAKER_42: But call Dr.
- 42:55SPEAKER_42: Bob today.
- 42:55SPEAKER_42: He is a fantastic person.
- 42:58SPEAKER_42: He is incredibly entertaining.
- 42:59SPEAKER_42: Can I just say that up front?
- 43:00SPEAKER_42: He is incredibly entertaining to talk to.
- 43:02SPEAKER_42: Trust me.
- 43:02SPEAKER_42: That alone, just call and talk to Dr.
- 43:04SPEAKER_42: Bob just to talk to Dr.
- 43:06SPEAKER_42: Bob because the dude is absolutely amazing.
- 43:07SPEAKER_42: And he has an incredible program that has allowed me the opportunity to lose.

- 44:48SPEAKER_42: Let's get back to some of your thoughts.
- 44:50SPEAKER_25: Yeah, good morning, John.
- 44:53SPEAKER_25: I do tend to agree with Eric just a little bit in the sense that the extreme life group should probably just relax a little bit.
- 45:04SPEAKER_25: Only because nobody is talking about it.
- 45:07SPEAKER_25: People are only talking about it now because they have nothing else to talk about.
- 45:11SPEAKER_25: Um probably gonna walk more like even collins and lead for Mikhailski.
- 45:19SPEAKER_25: What is the alternative?
- 45:23SPEAKER_25: Talk about extreme.
- 45:26SPEAKER_25: Anyway, have a great day.
- 45:28SPEAKER_42: Yeah, I haven't heard anything coming from pro-life groups, and um, I I would hope that they would stay out of this right now regarding this race because of what you mentioned in terms of the alternative.
- 45:38SPEAKER_42: I have no expectation whatsoever that uh Michelle Tefoya would end up voting like Collins or Murkowski.
- 45:44SPEAKER_42: Everything that I've heard of Michelle Tefoya and the issues in the few years that I've been uh talking uh with her on the show, we there, whether it was regarding commentary on her own podcast or since becoming a candidate, and really the abortion issue is really the only moderate one that I have heard from her.
- 46:02SPEAKER_42: Everything else seems to fall in line with what most uh conservatives would tend to agree with.
- 46:07SPEAKER_42: So I don't agree with that assessment that she'd be more like those uh those moderates uh that you mentioned in Collins and Rurkowski.
- 46:14SPEAKER_42: But I appreciate uh your leaving a comment this morning on the blaster line.
- 46:17SPEAKER_42: If you want to do that, 612-584-4565.
- 46:20SPEAKER_42: Again, 612-584-4565.
- 46:24SPEAKER_42: You can also email me, John.justice at AmericanExperiment.org.
- 46:28SPEAKER_42: Um, one more story that I want to preview that I failed in uh in promoting the show.
- 46:33SPEAKER_42: The other big story today, we're gonna get to the SCOTUS ruling here in just a second, but the other big story today that's making the rounds is Target pulling this allegedly racist offensive costume.
- 46:44SPEAKER_42: Devin, have you seen this?
- 46:45SPEAKER_42: No?
- 46:46SPEAKER_42: Okay.
- 46:46SPEAKER_42: So uh, you know, I'll toss it up.
- 46:48SPEAKER_42: This is what, just for those that are watching uh the show, uh, this is what it looks like.
- 46:54SPEAKER_42: It's called the Kids Glow Under Black Light Circus Clown Halloween costume.
- 46:58SPEAKER_42: Hide and eek.
- 47:00SPEAKER_42: So when I first saw it, I was like, why is this why is this being considered racist?
- 47:06SPEAKER_42: What people are comparing it to are um images of the Jim Crow character, which ended up leading into the the Jim Crow era mm laws.
- 47:19SPEAKER_42: Uh they're they're saying that it's from it's familiar, uh it's it has similarities, excuse me, to that, to that costume.
- 47:25SPEAKER_42: So we'll get into that like later on uh next hour.
- 47:28SPEAKER_42: Uh because I kind of see it, but I kind of don't.
- 47:32SPEAKER_42: I mean, I think the costume was just controversial because it's dumb.
- 47:35SPEAKER_42: I'm just not a fan of the costumes that are sort of nondescript that aren't associated with something.
- 47:40SPEAKER_42: They're just kind of there.
- 47:41SPEAKER_42: This just looks like a bizarre, like David, it looks like something that David S.
- 47:45SPEAKER_42: Pumpkins on SNL would have would have worn.
- 47:48SPEAKER_41: Any questions?
- 47:49SPEAKER_41: Love that bit, by the way.
- 47:52SPEAKER_42: Of modern SNL, that's one of the probably the best modern SNL bits, is the Tom Hanks David S.
- 47:58SPEAKER_42: Pumpkins bit.
- 47:59SPEAKER_42: So we'll get into that uh next hour, but I wanted to make sure that I gave it a a bit of a preview.
- 48:03SPEAKER_42: So um as I was heading over to the uh to the BPO uh U meeting in uh Blame, this the news broke.
- 48:10SPEAKER_42: The Supreme Court allowed the Trump administration to implement the executive order restricting mail-in ballast to 23 states and D.C., despite the lower court to injunction by a judge that was put in place during the Obama era.
- 48:25SPEAKER_42: The order which directs the Department of Homeland Security to compile a list of eligible voters and the Justice Department to investigate election results remains under legal dispute.
- 48:35SPEAKER_42: The ruling does not resolve the underlying legal questions and allows for further uh litigation.
- 48:41SPEAKER_42: All right, so what is there's a lot of words, what is uh what does all of it what does all of it mean?
- 48:47SPEAKER_42: So it means this it means that the uh ruling will uh essentially allow the administration to move forward with the directive, despite the injunction.
- 49:00SPEAKER_42: It does not resolve the underlying eagle uh legal issue.
- 49:03SPEAKER_42: So the Supreme Court did not act on a separate lawsuit injunction that Talwani issued.
- 49:08SPEAKER_42: This is the judge, U.S.
- 49:10SPEAKER_42: District Judge and Boston judge um in Indira Talwani, uh, that blocks the U.S.
- 49:18SPEAKER_42: Postal Service from enforcing the directive's tighter rules for voting by mail.
- 49:23SPEAKER_42: The Justice Department had asked the Supreme Court to make it clear that its decision applied to both injunctions, but the justices did not do so thus far.
- 49:32SPEAKER_42: However, the justice's ruling on this particular issue does bode incredibly well for ruling positive on the other issue.
- 49:41SPEAKER_42: So this means that Monday's ruling does not give the administration the administration an unrestricted green light to implement every part of Trump's executive order that he moved forward on in the wake of not being able to get the Save America Act passed in the Senate.
- 49:57SPEAKER_42: Trump's executive order that was issued in March directed the Department of Homeland Security to compile and transmit to the states a list of U.S.
- 50:05SPEAKER_42: citizens eligible to vote in each state.
- 50:08SPEAKER_42: It also directed the Justice Department to prioritize investigating in uh state and local officials who use ballots to people not deemed eligible to vote in federal elections.
- 50:21SPEAKER_42: The order further requires the U.S.
- 50:23SPEAKER_42: Postal Service to deliver ballots only to voters on each state's approved mail-in ballot list.
- 50:31SPEAKER_42: The Postal Service has moved to implement Trump's directive already, although enforcement of its new rules has remained blocked by the other Talwani separate nationwide injunction that we're still waiting to get a ruling on.
- 50:43SPEAKER_42: Now, Trump has vowed to end the use of mail-in ballots nationwide before the midterms and has long raised concerns about the security of mail-in voting.
- 50:52SPEAKER_42: So the Supreme Court on Monday did not settle the broader constitutional questions surrounding the executive order.
- 50:58SPEAKER_42: The states remain able to pursue further litigation, and the dispute could return to the Supreme Court as the November election approaches.
- 51:07SPEAKER_42: But one of the dissenting voices, Kotenji Brown here, was very concerned that there would not be enough time to overturn this and that it could be implemented before the November elections.
- 51:17SPEAKER_42: Trump's executive order is, of course, part of a broader effort to make changes to the U.S.
- 51:22SPEAKER_42: election uh procedures.
- 51:24SPEAKER_42: So let me share with you some audio and we'll get to further details on this.
- 51:27SPEAKER_42: First, we will start with uh Brett Baer.
- 51:29SPEAKER_42: Uh, in the initial reporting when the news broke on Fox News over the President's executive order restricting mail-in voting.
- 51:35SPEAKER_01: The court's conservative majority did not decide the legality of the order, instead, ruling states do not have the legal right to challenge it.
- 51:43SPEAKER_01: The decision leaves room for additional court challenges that could further slow the order, and other similar cases have already been filed.
- 51:51SPEAKER_01: The Postal Service laid out how it would implement the order last week.
- 51:55SPEAKER_01: But time is running short to impose major changes, with some states beginning to send mail ballots to voters in just a few weeks or even days.
- 52:04SPEAKER_42: Up next, new demonstrations surrounding the So I grabbed this yesterday um in the wake of the announcement.
- 52:12SPEAKER_42: Uh Benny Johnson had posted a summary on this, and it's probably one of the best ways to describe exactly what this does.
- 52:18SPEAKER_42: What's funny, by the way, about um this screen grab, because I took a screenshot on my phone, is that in it is also the post by the socket wrench DFL or Jamie Long that I was mentioning earlier, where he makes the ridiculous Damoth claim.
- 52:33SPEAKER_42: He says, We know what Damuth would do as governor.
- 52:36SPEAKER_42: She could, Colonel, um, put in an extreme abortion ban.
- 52:42SPEAKER_42: She can't, she wouldn't be able to do that.
- 52:44SPEAKER_42: It's a that's a straight up lie.
- 52:46SPEAKER_42: Anyway, the Supreme Court ruling opens up the opportunity to implement the turning over of a list of every voter getting a ballot.
- 52:55SPEAKER_42: So this is what states must do with this order.
- 52:57SPEAKER_42: They have to turn over a list of every voter getting a ballot, put unique serialized barcodes on both the outgoing and return envelopes.
- 53:05SPEAKER_42: And if a state refuses, the United States Postal Service will not deliver those ballots.
- 53:10SPEAKER_42: It is a major election integrity win.
- 53:14SPEAKER_42: Now, I don't know what this means, and I've I'm I'm putting my uh I have the questions uh posed to the proper people.
- 53:20SPEAKER_42: I don't know what this means for Secretary of State Steve Simon and the state of Minnesota and their refusal to turn over the voter rolls here in Minnesota.
- 53:29SPEAKER_42: So I don't know if this has an impact on that or not.
- 53:32SPEAKER_42: I mean, based off the initial assessment and the comments there from Benny Johnson, it would sound like if you need to turn over the list of all the eligible voters, that sounds like they'd have to turn over the the voter rolls here, but I'm not a hundred percent sure on that.
- 53:44SPEAKER_42: So last night on um on Fox News, was it Mark Davis?
- 53:50SPEAKER_42: Yes, excuse me, Mike Davis.
- 53:52SPEAKER_42: Mike Davis was on Fox News and Laura Ingram uh last night, and they were talking about this issue, and he provides a little bit further uh clarity uh on exactly what had happened.
- 54:02SPEAKER_42: So here's a bit of the conversation between Laura Ingram and Mike Davis on Fox yesterday.
- 54:17SPEAKER_12: Now remember, Democrats from 23 states had sued MDC, had sued to stop the President, but today the Supreme Court lifted an injunction and said that those states they essentially didn't have the legal standing to bring the challenge.
- 54:32SPEAKER_12: President Trump is not anti-mail in ballots, by the way, per se, but he is against abusing the process, and he believes that only people who are truly eligible to vote should be getting the ballots, and frankly, having all those ballot applications mailed to them.
- 54:48SPEAKER_12: Makes sense.
- 54:49SPEAKER_12: Here with more insight is Mike Davis, Article III project president and former clerk to Justice Gorsuch.
- 54:55SPEAKER_12: Mike, um so the Supreme Court, and and it was an unsigned order, right?
- 55:00SPEAKER_12: But they essentially said that they expect further challenges.
- 55:05SPEAKER_12: They're not ruling on the underlying merits of the case, but why is this still significant at this juncture?
- 55:13SPEAKER_03: President Trump ordered his Postal Service, his Attorney General, his Secretary of Homeland Security to work together to make sure that states are only using our Postal Service to mail ballots to lawful voters and not to illegal aliens and other unlawful voters.
- 55:34SPEAKER_03: And there was an Obama judge in Boston, this left-wing radical judge couldn't do that.
- 55:41SPEAKER_12: Yeah, Endera Tawani, who's a district court judge.
- 55:44SPEAKER_12: Uh Obama appointed.
- 55:46SPEAKER_03: She's a radical, and she's president as she said, President Trump couldn't do that.
- 55:50SPEAKER_03: The First Circuit agreed, the Supreme Court correctly said that yes, the President can move forward, and this is preliminary.
- 55:58SPEAKER_03: If there is injury to real parties down the road, then they can bring a lawsuit.
- 56:02SPEAKER_03: But the states are not injured here.
- 56:04SPEAKER_12: Now, Mike, do you think that um there is enough time for the administration to implement these regs?
- 56:12SPEAKER_12: Because we're you know some of the mail-in ballots may have already gone out or they're about to go out.
- 56:19SPEAKER_12: Tell us about that.
- 56:21SPEAKER_03: I mean, it it the the pr the president is uh gonna move fast.
- 56:25SPEAKER_03: And I would just say this why are the Democrats so scared to have accountability with our elections?
- 56:32SPEAKER_03: Why are they so scared to make sure that the Postal Service is not committing mail fraud by mailing ballots to illegal aliens and other illegal voters?
- 56:42SPEAKER_12: It would shock you to know, Mike, by the way, that Katanji uh Brown Jackson issued a blistering dissent to this order, essentially saying this is all Kafka-esque and uh this must be stopped.
- 56:54SPEAKER_12: But Mike, we'll have to save that conversation for another day.
- 56:57SPEAKER_12: Thank you very much.
- 56:58SPEAKER_42: Yeah, because yeah, of course she did.
- 57:00SPEAKER_42: Of course the uh the progressive liberal brainless justice said that.
- 57:06SPEAKER_42: She's the puppet for Democrats.
- 57:07SPEAKER_42: That's the only reason why she's on there, is to parrot the talking points of the DNC.
- 57:12SPEAKER_42: I have one more clip from earlier in the conversation that uh Laura Ingram's uh guest had regarding this uh SCOTUS ruling.
- 57:19SPEAKER_42: We'll get to this in just a moment.
- 57:20SPEAKER_42: Before we do, though, I want to remind you that if you have difficulty getting a good night's sleep, and last night going and speaking uh to uh the group over in Blaine put me to bed later than I typically go.
- 57:32SPEAKER_42: And often I would lose what I call my my sleep flight.
- 57:36SPEAKER_42: There's like that window where I get my sleep, and if I'm out past that window in the middle of the week, the flight leaves without me and I'm stuck at the airport and I can't fall asleep.
- 57:44SPEAKER_42: That doesn't happen anymore because of the night gummies from Mini Leaf.
- 57:47SPEAKER_42: They've been an absolute game changer uh for me.
- 57:49SPEAKER_42: You take one right before you go to bed, they taste fantastic.
- 57:53SPEAKER_42: No bitter aftertaste, made with all natural ingredients, which was important to me.
- 57:57SPEAKER_42: Even consulting my cardiologist on these, thumbs up across the board when it comes to these products, and I get a restful night's sleep.
- 58:04SPEAKER_42: Even if I wake up in the middle of the night, which I do, I'm able to hit the sheets and I'm out again.
- 58:08SPEAKER_42: Like I didn't even realize that I woke up to go use the restroom.
- 58:12SPEAKER_42: So whether it's getting your sleep back on track and feeling refreshed, as I do every morning when I come to talk to you, or you want to relax with the fun gummies of the spooky mini leaf tonics if you're dealing with some pain.
- 58:22SPEAKER_42: The triple diamond pain cream is incredibly effective.
- 58:24SPEAKER_42: If you want a delicious treat, their dark chocolate is amazing.
- 58:27SPEAKER_42: Head on over to M-I-N-N-E-L-E-A-F.com.
- 58:31SPEAKER_42: That's minileaf.com to check out all of their amazing uh products.
- 58:36SPEAKER_42: You will taste happy at minileaf.com.
- 58:38SPEAKER_12: Now, Mike, do you think that um there is enough time for the administration to implement these regs?
- 58:46SPEAKER_12: Because we're you know some of the mail-in ballots may have already gone out um or they're about to go out.
- 58:52SPEAKER_12: Tell us about that.
- 58:55SPEAKER_03: I mean, it it the pr the president is uh gonna move fast.
- 58:58SPEAKER_03: And I would just say this why are the Democrats so scared to have accountability with our elections?
- 59:05SPEAKER_03: Why are they so scared of the Dr.
- 59:07SPEAKER_42: And again, that was a bit of a repeat of what he had said before regarding the Supreme Court ruling and how quickly that it would uh it would take place.
- 59:14SPEAKER_42: So I take the win.
- 59:17SPEAKER_42: I absolutely take the win.
- 59:19SPEAKER_42: And there were individuals online yesterday that were, you know, going down the road of, oh, they're just gonna cheat.
- 59:26SPEAKER_42: What does it matter?
- 59:27SPEAKER_42: They'll just challenge it in court.
- 59:28SPEAKER_42: And listen, those all those things might be might be true, but uh it's nothing until it's something.
- 59:35SPEAKER_42: And right now, those are nothings.
- 59:37SPEAKER_42: When they're something, we'll go and we'll talk about it.
- 59:40SPEAKER_42: Right now, I'm happy to see, as I talked about at the start of the show, the common sense entering into the mix of our politics, our Supreme Court decisions within our, you know, our social commentary, the social sphere.
- 59:55SPEAKER_42: It takes a little while, especially after four years of Joe Biden.
- 59:58SPEAKER_42: But now that we are into this presidency, I'm beginning to see those rays of sunlight of common sense here in the country.
- 1:00:04SPEAKER_42: And we cannot let go of the momentum moving forward as we continue to try to put this country back on the right track.
- 1:00:13SPEAKER_42: And with that, we enter into the second hour of the show here for a Tuesday.
- 1:00:17SPEAKER_42: It's a John Justice show presented by American Experiment.

- 1:01:51SPEAKER_42: We can purchase logoed mugs and we have more merchandise coming uh very, very soon.
- 1:01:56SPEAKER_42: All right, we were talking last hour about election integrity, the Supreme Court moving forward on um securing election integrity by tossing out a lower court's efforts to block uh making sure that the individuals who are receiving mail-in ballots are actually here in the country legally.
- 1:02:15SPEAKER_42: Now we await any challenges from the left that might ensue in the wake of the Supreme Court ruling, but as I mentioned, it is uh absolutely um a win.
- 1:02:25SPEAKER_42: So take the win right now as we wait for the Supreme Court to rule on other, on other issues.
- 1:02:30SPEAKER_42: An individual who's not taking the win very well is Mike Lindell.
- 1:02:33SPEAKER_42: I'll get you updated on his uh efforts to launch a recount here in Minnesota.
- 1:02:38SPEAKER_42: Right now, there are no efforts, and I'll explain why here in just a moment.
- 1:02:41SPEAKER_42: Uh, first off, I want to go back to the blaster line at 612-584-4565.
- 1:02:46SPEAKER_42: We were talking about the war in Iran uh last hour.
- 1:02:49SPEAKER_42: Uh Scott Jennings had uh some really interesting comments about the the pressure campaign, whether it's through the kinetic military action or the economic D-Day that's being implemented against Iran.
- 1:03:03SPEAKER_42: And it may be that we've already won won this war with Iran, even though it's going to take a while to sort out um exactly what the regime will look like in the coming months.
- 1:03:12SPEAKER_42: Let's go back to the blaster line this morning here on the John Justice show presented by American Experiment.
- 1:03:22SPEAKER_29: The Iran war.
- 1:03:24SPEAKER_29: The first war when we don't have recorders on the ground.
- 1:03:29SPEAKER_29: Recording it.
- 1:03:30SPEAKER_29: We get what?
- 1:03:39SPEAKER_29: There's a war going on over there.
- 1:03:43SPEAKER_29: Enjoy the show.
- 1:03:44SPEAKER_42: Don't be ignorant.
- 1:03:47SPEAKER_42: And don't be offensive either.
- 1:03:50SPEAKER_42: We've had members of our military, brave men and women, that have already given the ultimate sacrifice in what the Trump administration is attempting to accomplish against Iran, keeping them from getting a nuclear weapon, not appeasing them like previous administrations, keeping them from being able to wage war against our military assets overseas, us and our allies as well.
- 1:04:16SPEAKER_42: It is offensive to me that you would suggest that this is some made-up event taking place.
- 1:04:24SPEAKER_42: We've seen plenty of footage of our military within the region.
- 1:04:28SPEAKER_42: You're talking about a country that's closed off where our reporters are not getting into in Iran to report from the ground.
- 1:04:37SPEAKER_42: And I appreciate the fact that you listen to the show.
- 1:04:39SPEAKER_42: I really do.
- 1:04:40SPEAKER_42: But that's offensive.
- 1:04:42SPEAKER_42: It's absolutely offensive to the brave men and women that are overseas right now fighting for freedom to stop the next war from taking place.
- 1:04:51SPEAKER_42: I just not everything is a damn conspiracy, and I'm so sick and tired of people that act like every little thing that you see is just not real at all.
- 1:05:02SPEAKER_42: Alright, I just that just it gets to me.
- 1:05:04SPEAKER_42: It absolutely gets to me.
- 1:05:05SPEAKER_42: Don't be disrespectful to our military.
- 1:05:08SPEAKER_42: You want to share your stupid thoughts?
- 1:05:09SPEAKER_42: I'll share them with the audience, and they can also listen to how stupid you are as well.
- 1:05:14SPEAKER_42: All right, let's go here.
- 1:05:16SPEAKER_42: Sorry.
- 1:05:17SPEAKER_42: That bugged me.
- 1:05:20SPEAKER_42: I think there's some lollipops in the break room, Devin.
- 1:05:23SPEAKER_42: You should go give me one.
- 1:05:26SPEAKER_42: We'll take a break and I'll enjoy some sugar for crying out loud.
- 1:05:30SPEAKER_42: All right.
- 1:05:31SPEAKER_42: Mike Lindell's campaign is withholding.
- 1:05:34SPEAKER_42: I should have made, I was gonna make this prediction yesterday and I didn't, and I'm bummed that I didn't.
- 1:05:38SPEAKER_42: Not that it was a hard prediction to make.
- 1:05:40SPEAKER_42: He is withholding the$825,000 payment for the Minnesota gubernatorial primary recounted due to a dispute over the recount process.
- 1:05:49SPEAKER_42: The campaign argues that the state's plan to recount only votes for Lindell and his opponent, Lisa Damath, violates Minnesota law, which mandates recounting.
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_42: All votes for the office.
- 1:06:02SPEAKER_42: The campaign has requested a court ruling on the recount scope before submitting the payment.
- 1:06:10SPEAKER_42: I thought that he just wanted a recount of his race against Damuth.
- 1:06:15SPEAKER_42: I mean, that makes the most sense.
- 1:06:17SPEAKER_42: Nobody in any of these other races that lost in the primary are saying there's anything going on nefarious.
- 1:06:27SPEAKER_42: Nobody is claiming there is fraud.
- 1:06:28SPEAKER_42: Nobody else is demanding a recount.
- 1:06:30SPEAKER_42: Kendall Qualls, who was the endorsed candidate, of all the people that can go and demand a recount, it would be Kendall.
- 1:06:36SPEAKER_42: And he's not.
- 1:06:37SPEAKER_42: He did the right thing in the wake of losing on the night of the primary, asking individuals to go and coalesce around Lisa Damath.
- 1:06:45SPEAKER_42: But apparently that's a bridge too far for Mike Lindell.
- 1:06:48SPEAKER_42: According to Lindell's campaign, the approach violates Minnesota law.
- 1:06:51SPEAKER_42: There's a provision in state law that the campaign says, the campaign says defines a recount as determining the number of votes validly cast for the office or questioned to be recounted, meaning all the votes in the race must be counted, not just those for the two candidates.
- 1:07:09SPEAKER_42: So he's disputing the terminology here, is what's happening.
- 1:07:12SPEAKER_42: Lindell has asked the state to waive the payment deadline until a court can weigh in on the scope of the Secretary of State, on uh on the scope the Secretary of State has proposed.
- 1:07:23SPEAKER_42: I'm not the first one to say this, but I agree with the others that have commented on, and I thought the same thing.
- 1:07:27SPEAKER_42: I don't think Mike Lindell has the money.
- 1:07:31SPEAKER_40: And if he did, there's better usage of those dollars.
- 1:07:35SPEAKER_42: A statement from the Minnesota Secretary of State's office replying to Mike Lindell's comments on this said this our office provided the contingent recount plan to Mr.
- 1:07:47SPEAKER_42: Lindell after it was approved by the state canvassing board on August 18th.
- 1:07:51SPEAKER_42: The plan follows state law and the administrative rules on recount procedures and is consistent with plans of its kind for the past two decades.
- 1:08:01SPEAKER_42: According to state officials, Damouth received 179,86, uh 683 votes in the primary, while Lindell received 134,282.
- 1:08:13SPEAKER_42: There's about a 45,000 vote difference between the two.
- 1:08:16SPEAKER_42: There have been no official findings of fraud or irregularity in the Minnesota primary results.
- 1:08:21SPEAKER_42: Mike Lindell has not offered up anything official regarding his questioning of the results of the um election.
- 1:08:32SPEAKER_42: And I just ultimately, I think it's kind of sad.
- 1:08:36SPEAKER_42: I think it's kind of sad.
- 1:08:38SPEAKER_42: And one of the central themes that we'll talk about with a number of different uh different uh stories this morning are, you know, wasted opportunities.
- 1:08:45SPEAKER_42: And there's a wasted opportunity that's going on here.
- 1:08:48SPEAKER_42: Mike has a significant voice here in Minnesota politics.
- 1:08:52SPEAKER_42: He had a significant amount of support.
- 1:08:54SPEAKER_42: He was able to garner that many votes in the primary.
- 1:08:57SPEAKER_42: I just think it's unfortunate that he's now choosing his time to question the validity of the election rather than using his influence to actually go and help the GOP in November to go win elections.
- 1:09:10SPEAKER_42: I just I find it I find it kind of sad.
- 1:09:13SPEAKER_42: All right, let's get back to some more of your thoughts.
- 1:09:15SPEAKER_42: Uh the blaster line is 612-584-4565.
- 1:09:19SPEAKER_42: 612-584-4565.
- 1:09:24SPEAKER_15: Good morning, John.
- 1:09:26SPEAKER_15: I'm still with you on this whole conspiracy theory thing.
- 1:09:30SPEAKER_15: People, you have to use the firm line.
- 1:09:33SPEAKER_15: Were there some conspiracy theories?
- 1:09:35SPEAKER_15: Yeah.
- 1:09:36SPEAKER_15: But not every single one left.
- 1:09:37SPEAKER_15: Okay.
- 1:09:38SPEAKER_15: So the lady that called in about the war is there even a war going on.
- 1:09:44SPEAKER_15: I have relatives in my family that are even like a hard thing about this and it's like, really, like the evidence.
- 1:09:51SPEAKER_15: And stop listening to people who just play the stuff.
- 1:09:54SPEAKER_15: If they can't show you any bold evidence, then it's not a conspiracy theory.
- 1:09:59SPEAKER_15: People wake up.
- 1:10:01SPEAKER_15: We need better critical thinking skills.
- 1:10:04SPEAKER_15: Yeah.
- 1:10:04SPEAKER_15: Thanks everyone.
- 1:10:05SPEAKER_42: Yeah, amen.
- 1:10:05SPEAKER_42: And thank you so much for the uh for the comment.
- 1:10:08SPEAKER_42: Absolutely.
- 1:10:09SPEAKER_42: Uh amen to that.
- 1:10:10SPEAKER_42: And I definitely uh appreciate your thoughts this morning.
- 1:10:13SPEAKER_42: And uh I completely and totally um agree.
- 1:10:17SPEAKER_42: All right, uh, let's go here.
- 1:10:20SPEAKER_42: The Trump administration is preparing to revoke up to 200,000 visas issued to foreigners who later sought asylum in the United States.
- 1:10:31SPEAKER_42: It's part of the effort to crack down on what officials say is abuse of the immigration system.
- 1:10:37SPEAKER_42: This was reported um by uh the Associated Press yesterday.
- 1:10:41SPEAKER_42: The State Department is expected to announce the effort soon, targeting uh foreigners with B1 and B2 business and tourist visas between 2016 and 2026, who later applied for asylum, according to the AP.
- 1:10:53SPEAKER_42: The administration says that some foreigners are obtaining temporary visas under false pretenses and then using the asylum process to remain in the United States.
- 1:11:02SPEAKER_42: Amen to this.
- 1:11:04SPEAKER_42: You know, let's clap.
- 1:11:06SPEAKER_42: Couldn't be happier about it, because I don't think most people realize that so many of the issues that we're faced with on a daily basis, whether it's nationwide or here in Minnesota, is directly related to immigration, not just illegal immigration, but also those individuals who have done just that.
- 1:11:21SPEAKER_42: They've ignored the rules or they've exploited the rules of the United States, they've taken advantage of the generosity of the United States, and now it's having a negative impact on almost every single sector of the United States.
- 1:11:35SPEAKER_42: You remove illegal aliens through deportation efforts, you remove immigrants who, through various ways, have overstayed their visas.
- 1:11:44SPEAKER_42: And look at the issue of housing.
- 1:11:46SPEAKER_42: We do not have a housing shortage crisis.
- 1:11:50SPEAKER_42: There are plenty of homes out there.
- 1:11:52SPEAKER_42: The problem is they are not affordable.
- 1:11:54SPEAKER_42: Young couples are not making enough money to afford these houses.
- 1:11:59SPEAKER_42: Property taxes are skyrocketing in Minneapolis.
- 1:12:02SPEAKER_42: They're raising them by some 20%.
- 1:12:04SPEAKER_42: If you begin to remove the volume that Trump is suggesting in this announcement, 200,000 individuals, those are individuals who are occupying homes.
- 1:12:16SPEAKER_42: Those are homes that will be made available, that will end up driving the price of the homes down and making them more affordable for everybody.
- 1:12:25SPEAKER_42: You won't have to have municipalities raising taxes on homes the way that they are if you start tackling this issue on a large scale.
- 1:12:35SPEAKER_42: And I believe we're already going to see some of this based off of the efforts of what ICE has been able to accomplish already.
- 1:12:40SPEAKER_42: Why do you think Democrats have been so keen to zero in on the affordable housing issue?
- 1:12:46SPEAKER_42: They never mention the immigration aspect of this at all, because they know that's part of the solution.
- 1:12:52SPEAKER_42: They need immigrants here in the United States, especially here in Minnesota, those who are eligible to vote, that have overstayed these visas, that need to go home, they need them in their elections, especially with their party now being taken over by a bunch of communists.
- 1:13:08SPEAKER_42: And they know full well that this is a part of the solution to deal with the problem.
- 1:13:12SPEAKER_42: To make sure that you not only remove the illegal aliens, and there's plenty of illegal aliens that are also occupying homes that'll be made free, driving down the values and the prices on top of it.
- 1:13:22SPEAKER_42: But they also know that those individuals who have overstayed their visas that are technically legal but still shouldn't be here, are contributing greatly to the problem.
- 1:13:32SPEAKER_42: And it's not just your home purchases.
- 1:13:34SPEAKER_42: We're talking about the, you know, rentals as well.
- 1:13:37SPEAKER_42: The first deportation flight to Haiti, since the Trump administration terminated protections for Haitian illegal immigrants, left on the 20th, loaded with gang members, child sex predators, and other violent criminals.
- 1:13:50SPEAKER_42: This is a long list, as you can see if you're watching.
- 1:13:52SPEAKER_42: I did a lot of highlighting of all the different individuals.
- 1:13:55SPEAKER_42: I'm not going to go through all of them, but I'll just give you sort of the top, the worst of the worst that are being deported.
- 1:14:01SPEAKER_42: 162 illegal immigrants from Haiti deported on the latest flight.
- 1:14:07SPEAKER_42: It came after the Supreme Court opened the door for President Donald Trump to end the long-standing TPS for roughly 350,000 Haitians back in June.
- 1:14:15SPEAKER_42: Again, common sense.
- 1:14:28SPEAKER_42: I assume it's not Zoe.
- 1:14:29SPEAKER_42: I think it's always Zoe, right?
- 1:14:31SPEAKER_42: Uh the Zoe gang, uh Zoe Pound gang member, uh McGyverson Jettin, who was uh who has convictions for four counts of lewd or lascivious battery with a victim between the ages of 12 and 15 and sexual battery, according to DHS.
- 1:14:48SPEAKER_42: Another Zoe Pound gang member, Mulder Hypolyte, who has a conviction for second-degree assault on a pregnant woman, was sent back to Haiti.
- 1:14:56SPEAKER_42: Crossed the southern border back in 2024 and was released under the Biden administration.
- 1:15:01SPEAKER_42: 88 crush mob gang member, Davidson Athis, who left the United States on the flight, has a conviction for first degree assault, arrest for conspiracy to commit assault, second-degree assault, fourth degree burglary, second degree fraud, drug possession, reckless endangerment.
- 1:15:19SPEAKER_42: I've got a one, two, three.
- 1:15:20SPEAKER_42: I mean, this entire article is filled with just the worst of the worst of violent, predatory pedophiles, murderers, rapists, and thieves.
- 1:15:32SPEAKER_42: These are the individuals that Democrats have been protecting.
- 1:15:35SPEAKER_42: These are the individuals that when the Supreme Court lifted the TPS requirement to stay here, giving Trump the opportunity to get these anti-American criminals out of the country.
- 1:15:50SPEAKER_42: These are the people that you had the left going and criticizing the Supreme Court for.
- 1:15:55SPEAKER_42: These are the people that the left lied to you about, saying that these were good upstanding immigrants contributing positively to society here in the United States of America.
- 1:16:04SPEAKER_42: They will lie, they will cheat, and they will steal to retain and grow their power on the left.
- 1:16:12SPEAKER_42: And this is just a further example of that.
- 1:16:15SPEAKER_42: Keeping with the theme, and we'll get back to more of your thoughts from the uh blaster line here in just a moment.
- 1:16:20SPEAKER_42: Residents of Appleton expressed their concerns about the new Appleton detention facility.
- 1:16:25SPEAKER_42: And what bums me out about this, this is a story from uh is this Fox 9?
- 1:16:30SPEAKER_42: Care 11, my bad.
- 1:16:31SPEAKER_42: It's Care 11.
- 1:16:32SPEAKER_42: Um, it's a decent reporting in the in the story.
- 1:16:35SPEAKER_42: I'm I'm fine with that.
- 1:16:36SPEAKER_42: But you know, unfortunately, because this is what the media does, the focus is all on the negativity because it makes her a better story.
- 1:16:43SPEAKER_42: There are plenty of people in Appleton, as when we first reported this Appleton detention facility, a former prison purchased by the federal government to house illegal alien detainees.
- 1:16:54SPEAKER_42: When it was announced, the people of Apple, um, the mo the majority of people on Appleton were cheering because they know what this means for the community.
- 1:17:01SPEAKER_42: It means jobs.
- 1:17:02SPEAKER_42: It means opportunity.
- 1:17:04SPEAKER_42: It means more economic prosperity for the region and the businesses there that could absolutely use an influx of individuals coming to work at this facility, on top of the fact that the people of Appleton were also happy that their community would be part of the efforts to go and take care of everything that I was just talking about here on the John Justice Show presented by American Experiment.
- 1:17:26SPEAKER_42: State Senator Tori Westrom, a Republican from Alexandria, State Representative Paul Anderson, a Republican from Starbuck, joined a U.S.
- 1:17:33SPEAKER_42: Congresswoman and Republican Michelle Fishbach at the standing room-only event.
- 1:17:38SPEAKER_42: The Appleton police chief and mayor, along with the acting Swift County Sheriff, were also present.
- 1:17:44SPEAKER_42: We are going to build up uh to those things and address a lot of those issues that are coming down right now.
- 1:17:50SPEAKER_42: And so we're here to help do that, said Fishbach to some of the um members in the audience.
- 1:17:56SPEAKER_42: Many of the questions centered around the anticipated loss in tax revenue since federally owned property are tax exempt.
- 1:18:05SPEAKER_42: Uh, tax records show the city of Appleton collects about$521,000 in revenue from Core Civic.
- 1:18:10SPEAKER_42: This is who runs the facility.
- 1:18:12SPEAKER_42: Uh John Olinger, the city administrator, expects the loss to lose that property tax revenue by 2028.
- 1:18:20SPEAKER_42: Now, Core Civic wrote and says, we strive to be a good partner in the communities we operate.
- 1:18:25SPEAKER_42: To that end, we continue to be in dialogue with local officials about opportunities to partner through the memorandum of understanding and other means that support the successful operation of a facility in a manner that is mutually beneficial to the community.
- 1:18:40SPEAKER_42: Now, Core Civic also confirmed that it will add about 525 new jobs.
- 1:18:46SPEAKER_42: Now, is that enough to go in onset?
- 1:18:48SPEAKER_42: The locks of the loss of tax revenue that remains to be seen.
- 1:18:53SPEAKER_42: But what it does mean is though those are 425 new jobs for the people of uh Appleton, and that's an influx of families that could come in to work, to go and spend their money in Appleton to go and benefit the community.
- 1:19:07SPEAKER_42: Listen, that in and of itself, when it comes to the property tax issue, I think it's going to end up at a minimum be a wash on that particular issue.
- 1:19:18SPEAKER_42: Now, these positions include detention and security staff, medical and mental health professionals, case management and programming staff, administrator administrative personnel, maintenance employees, food service workers, transportation staff.
- 1:19:29SPEAKER_42: Core Civic also said that all detainees will be uh uh adults and expected to house to be housed in the facility for up for two months at a time.
- 1:19:40SPEAKER_42: Appleton mayor, uh Justin Kepp told Kara Levin that he's unaware of the schedule between the city and the federal government.
- 1:19:47SPEAKER_42: So it's unclear exactly what happens next.
- 1:19:50SPEAKER_42: Core Civic said it also expects to continue managing the facility under the existing agreement with ICE.
- 1:19:56SPEAKER_42: Listen, the property tax aspect of it is certainly one to keep an eye on.
- 1:19:59SPEAKER_42: But as I mentioned, those jobs are going to be massively beneficial to the people of Appleton.
- 1:20:04SPEAKER_42: And I think most of the people of Appleton are completely um uh aware of that.
- 1:20:08SPEAKER_42: All right, coming up, I do have uh one more ICE-related story as we turn our attention uh over uh to Target.
- 1:20:17SPEAKER_42: Teachers' unions are boycotting Target, says the company was silent on ice surge.
- 1:20:22SPEAKER_42: The teachers' unions are looking for attention.
- 1:20:26SPEAKER_42: It's no different than when I was talking about those socket wrench DFLers trying to fear monger what Lisa Damuth would do as governor regarding abortion and putting an abortion ban again.
- 1:20:40SPEAKER_42: They're looking to try to gain attention because they need some positivity attached to them.
- 1:20:47SPEAKER_42: And this goes back to the common sense.
- 1:20:49SPEAKER_42: This goes back to what the Trump administration has been able to accomplish since he took office again.
- 1:20:55SPEAKER_42: Things are starting to head back in the right direction.
- 1:20:58SPEAKER_42: And so you're seeing these moves by these leftist outlets.
- 1:21:01SPEAKER_42: And yes, the teachers union is a leftist outlet to try to gain some favoritism among the base, grow their ranks, and bring more people into the fold.
- 1:21:12SPEAKER_42: And that's certainly the case with this ridiculous boycotting of Target once again.
- 1:21:16SPEAKER_42: And then we'll talk about Target pulling this offensive Halloween costume from the stores and whether or not it actually is offensive.
- 1:21:22SPEAKER_42: I'll give you an update on the Minnesota State Fair and the issue of the gangs.
- 1:21:26SPEAKER_42: As I mentioned, Bill Glawn, the policy fellow here at American Experiment, did a fantastic job of really drilling down the point that I was attempting to make yesterday, but failed to do so.
- 1:21:37SPEAKER_42: Uh, Bill Glawn comes in with the assist here at uh Center of the American Experiment, and I'll share with you what he had to say coming up in just a moment, and we'll get back to more of your thoughts from the blaster line, 612-584-4565 here on the John Justice show, presented by American Experiment.
- 1:21:53SPEAKER_10: And now here's commentary on the latest issues facing Minnesotans.
- 1:21:57SPEAKER_10: From the hosts, policy fellows, and guests of American Experiment.
- 1:22:01SPEAKER_10: For more content, head on over to the center of the American Experiments YouTube page or at AmericaneExperiment.org.
- 1:22:09SPEAKER_43: And there were posts circulating on social media from members of these gangs saying that basically they were going to continue that line of violence at the state fair this year.
- 1:22:17SPEAKER_43: And thank God, you know, law enforcement perked their ears up.
- 1:22:21SPEAKER_43: And so now officials in Ramsey County are working with the Minnesota Attorney General's office to look at using a very, very rarely used law or excuse me, state statute called the Minnesota Civil Gang Nuisance Law to try and prevent that violence from happening.
- 1:22:36SPEAKER_43: The law would allow officials to sue gang members and prevent them from associating, intimidating, annoying, provoking, or threatening others in and around the state fairgrounds between August 27th and September 8th, 2026.
- 1:22:50SPEAKER_43: So they're asking basically a judge to issue an injunction and allow them to use this statute.
- 1:22:56SPEAKER_43: Statute.
- 1:22:57SPEAKER_43: If the injunction is issued, they would have the legal authority to proactively detain gang members listed in the suit who violate certain conditions, such as associating with one another at the fair.
- 1:23:09SPEAKER_43: And this is brilliant because otherwise, law enforcement is only able to do something after a crime has taken place.
- 1:23:14SPEAKER_43: This is something they could do on the front end to prevent it from ever happening.
- 1:23:18SPEAKER_42: It's John Justice, and you've probably gone through the yo-yo dieting.
- 1:23:22SPEAKER_42: That was the case for me, but not anymore.
- 1:23:24SPEAKER_42: You lose a few pounds, it all comes back, and more.
- 1:23:27SPEAKER_42: You lose a few pounds and it all comes back, and even more.
- 1:23:30SPEAKER_42: If that's been your life, Neutrowave was built for you.
- 1:23:33SPEAKER_42: It certainly was for me.
- 1:23:34SPEAKER_42: I've lost over 25 pounds on this amazing program.
- 1:23:37SPEAKER_42: Neutrawave turns on the fat burning, reignites your energy, and it's all natural.
- 1:23:42SPEAKER_42: There's no pills, there's no shots, there's no excuses.
- 1:23:45SPEAKER_42: It actually helps you change your relationship with food just through the process of the program.
- 1:23:51SPEAKER_42: 31,000 people across the Metro have tried everything else, and Neutrowave is where they got their life back.
- 1:23:57SPEAKER_42: And Neutrowave is accepting a limited number of new people.
- 1:24:01SPEAKER_42: So call and mention the word strike, and you get a$272 value truth metabolic scan and a red light therapy session.
- 1:24:10SPEAKER_42: I've done it.
- 1:24:11SPEAKER_42: It's incredibly effective.

- 1:24:45SPEAKER_37: For more details, email John.justice at American Experiment.org.
- 1:24:50SPEAKER_04: It's baffling how you can get to the conclusion that no, actually, the more people that are dependent so desperate and in such a hard situation that they need the state government, the more people in that situation is a good thing.
- 1:25:04SPEAKER_43: Right.
- 1:25:04SPEAKER_43: Well, not only is it ideologically unwise, in my opinion, to be trending that way, but our budget can't handle it.
- 1:25:10SPEAKER_43: This is a completely unsustainable path that we are on, even with how much our spending has already grown.
- 1:25:16SPEAKER_43: It's still growing on this area of welfare programs.
- 1:25:19SPEAKER_43: And that's where you get back to this idea of a ticking time bomb.
- 1:25:21SPEAKER_43: Think about it.
- 1:25:22SPEAKER_38: A famous politician once said, you're entitled to your opinion, but you are not entitled to your own facts.
- 1:25:28SPEAKER_38: But in a world full of AI and fake news, where can Minnesotans find the facts?
- 1:25:33SPEAKER_38: Center of the American Experiment is Minnesota's go-to source for fact-based analysis and common sense solutions for taxes, energy, public safety, and our kids' education.
- 1:25:44SPEAKER_38: Visit AmericanExperiment.org for more information.
- 1:25:47SPEAKER_38: Think about it is brought to you by Center of the American Experiment, Minnesota's think tank.
- 1:25:52SPEAKER_42: That was a lot more relevant than even I realized in light of some of the commentary this morning here on the John Justice Show presented by American Experiment.
- 1:26:02SPEAKER_42: What am I referring to?
- 1:26:03SPEAKER_42: I'm referring to the you're entitled to your own opinion, but you're not entitled to your own facts.
- 1:26:10SPEAKER_42: Now, as the uh voiceover was saying right there at americanexperiment.org, there is an amazing wrong track Minnesota list that is filled with facts about how we are on the wrong track.
- 1:26:21SPEAKER_42: But I am, you know, happy to report anecdotally that there is a level of positivity and people that believe the Minnesota is absolutely absolutely worth fighting for.
- 1:26:33SPEAKER_42: And are talking about the the best of Minnesota and how we can make things uh even even better.
- 1:26:39SPEAKER_42: So I would encourage you to head on over to AmericanExperiment.org and check that uh list out, especially when you're talking with friends or family, uh, those who may not be aligned with you politically, you know, fact-based data points to show this is how we're on the wrong track and this is how we can get back on the right track.
- 1:26:56SPEAKER_42: Now, I want to afford the opportunity to the individual who left the talk back, um, basically saying, not in so many words, that the war in Iran isn't real because we don't have any reporters on the ground over there, right?
- 1:27:10SPEAKER_42: That was my extrapolation.
- 1:27:11SPEAKER_42: I want to give them the opportunity to respond because that was a little hard on them because I thought it was offensive, especially to the brave men and women that are that are fighting and those that have lost their lives and the family members of those that have lost their lives.
- 1:27:23SPEAKER_42: So I'm gonna afford the opportunity for them to respond.
- 1:27:26SPEAKER_29: Looks like I struck a nerve.
- 1:27:28SPEAKER_29: Good.
- 1:27:29SPEAKER_29: Because guess what?
- 1:27:30SPEAKER_29: When the truth comes out, you're gonna be more angry.
- 1:27:33SPEAKER_29: And don't tell me about military serving this country.
- 1:27:37SPEAKER_29: I have four generations of military that have served this country.
- 1:27:41SPEAKER_42: Yeah, and I bet that if you were presenting them with the ridiculous conspiracy theories that you've presented here on the show, that they would be rolling in their grave that a relative of theirs would be so delusional as to think what's happening in Iran right now isn't real.
- 1:27:57SPEAKER_42: You know, add this to the list of the other conspiracy theories.
- 1:28:00SPEAKER_42: That have been thrown out there, that none of which have ever come true.
- 1:28:03SPEAKER_42: Long past they've been put out into the public ether.
- 1:28:06SPEAKER_42: It's amazing.
- 1:28:07SPEAKER_42: I wish somebody would go, maybe somebody has, I don't know.
- 1:28:09SPEAKER_42: I wish somebody would go and compile when all these conspiracy theories come out.
- 1:28:12SPEAKER_42: And I'm talking about regardless of party affiliation, by the way.
- 1:28:15SPEAKER_42: Republican and Democrat, QAnon or radical leftists regarding conspiracy theories.
- 1:28:20SPEAKER_42: It's kind of like when people speculate about movies that are coming out as an individual who loves pop culture and loves science fiction films.
- 1:28:28SPEAKER_42: You do a lot of speculating based off of what you see in the trailers.
- 1:28:32SPEAKER_42: There's never any follow-up after the movie comes out, going back to how wrong everybody was about their suspicions about particular character motivations or what was going to happen in a film.
- 1:28:42SPEAKER_42: And the same thing rings true when it comes to conspiracy theories.
- 1:28:45SPEAKER_42: There's never anybody going back to go and look at the conspiracy theories from before, for the most part, to say, yeah, none of that garbage that you said was supposed to come true regarding the election or anything else ever came true.
- 1:28:56SPEAKER_29: I have uncles that died in World War II.
- 1:29:00SPEAKER_29: Thank you.
- 1:29:01SPEAKER_29: I know what's going on.
- 1:29:02SPEAKER_29: Unless you've been to Iran, you have no clue.
- 1:29:05SPEAKER_42: Well, then look in the mirror, because I don't think you've been to Iran, have you?
- 1:29:09SPEAKER_42: So that's the standard we're looking at.
- 1:29:11SPEAKER_42: I guess neither of us can talk about the war in Iran.
- 1:29:13SPEAKER_42: I feel a little confident in talking about the war in Iran, considering the fact that I actually cover this stuff on a daily basis, and I look at all of the available information, not just that coming from far wack-a-doodle right or left wing websites that are ready to shotgun any conspiracy theory they want because their engagement in clickbait farming.
- 1:29:34SPEAKER_29: All you do is you get on the internet and you think this shit's real, but it's not.
- 1:29:44SPEAKER_41: That's right.
- 1:29:45SPEAKER_41: I get on the internet and then believe that the stuff is real.
- 1:29:49SPEAKER_29: Someday it's gonna be a hard lesson for you to learn.
- 1:29:53SPEAKER_29: And by the way, John, enjoy the show.
- 1:29:56SPEAKER_29: Okay.
- 1:29:57SPEAKER_42: Okay.
- 1:29:57SPEAKER_42: I'll tell you what, you call me back when all this garbage, nonsense, conspiracy theory stuff rings true.
- 1:30:02SPEAKER_42: You call me back, and I am more than happy to admit that I'm wrong, that what's happening right now in Iran is nothing but a fabrication.
- 1:30:11SPEAKER_42: By all means.
- 1:30:13SPEAKER_42: I am a host that is absolutely willing to go and admit when they are uh wrong, and that will never ever change.
- 1:30:21SPEAKER_42: But thank you so much.
- 1:30:24SPEAKER_42: For leaving a message this morning.
- 1:30:29SPEAKER_25: Good morning, Bob from Mike Elmo, um, local Navy veterans.
- 1:30:34SPEAKER_25: Thank you for your service.
- 1:30:36SPEAKER_25: Oh, Mark.
- 1:30:40SPEAKER_42: Thank you for your service there.
- 1:30:42SPEAKER_42: Let's go here.
- 1:31:05SPEAKER_42: Thank you for the uh comment.
- 1:31:06SPEAKER_42: 612-584-45065.
- 1:31:09SPEAKER_42: Let's go to one more.
- 1:31:13SPEAKER_15: Hey lady, I'm back too.
- 1:31:15SPEAKER_15: And guess what?
- 1:31:16SPEAKER_15: I just don't have generations that served in the military.
- 1:31:19SPEAKER_15: I was in the army myself, lady.
- 1:31:21SPEAKER_15: So if you haven't been in there and you haven't actually done the time in there, or tell me again, where are your facts of how this is fake?
- 1:31:31SPEAKER_15: Let me know.
- 1:31:32SPEAKER_15: Glad to go check out your sources.
- 1:31:34unknown: Yeah.
- 1:31:35SPEAKER_15: Thanks.
- 1:31:35SPEAKER_15: Have a great day.
- 1:31:36SPEAKER_15: All right.
- 1:31:37SPEAKER_42: Thank you for the comments.
- 1:31:38SPEAKER_42: Let's move on.
- 1:31:40SPEAKER_42: A national coalition made up of millions of teachers, school staff, and other union members have launched a boycott against Target in protest of the retailers' decision not to publicly denounce the surge of immigration enforcement officers in the Twin Cities earlier this year.
- 1:31:57SPEAKER_42: You know what?
- 1:31:58SPEAKER_42: I went through and did all the notes on this story.
- 1:32:01SPEAKER_42: And I have the I have all the different aspects of this highlighted in the quotes from everybody.
- 1:32:06SPEAKER_42: But just reading that opening paragraph alone, like I don't even want to bother sharing it.
- 1:32:12SPEAKER_42: Let me just bat let me just let's just break it down again.
- 1:32:14SPEAKER_42: We'll do we'll do that.
- 1:32:16SPEAKER_42: A national coalition made up of teachers, millions of teachers, school staff, and other union members are launching a boycott against Target in protest of the retailers' decision to not publicly denounce the surge of immigration enforcement officers in the Twin Cities earlier this year.
- 1:32:35SPEAKER_42: This is a Minnesota Star Tribune that isn't even worthy of printing unless you are putting it forward to discuss how absolutely ridiculous that effort is.
- 1:32:47SPEAKER_42: Why is it Target's responsibility to go and denounce anything beyond higher prices of a competitive retailer?
- 1:32:58SPEAKER_42: That's about the only denouncing that Target needs to do.
- 1:33:04SPEAKER_42: They're not a sponsor of this show.
- 1:33:08SPEAKER_42: But this is absolutely asinine.
- 1:33:11SPEAKER_42: Millions of teachers, school staff, and other union members wasting their time focusing on a retailer.
- 1:33:18SPEAKER_42: It tells you how desperate they are to gain support.
- 1:33:21SPEAKER_42: It tells you how little ground they have to stand on on the actual issues regarding education.
- 1:33:28SPEAKER_42: You know, to that point, I was gonna go to let me let me go here, because this fits in as you kind of move or move around this morning.
- 1:33:34SPEAKER_42: But this fits in just perfectly with this other story that I have.
- 1:33:38SPEAKER_42: This is the American Federation of Teachers in cooperation with the AFL CIO announcing the campaign in a full time a full-time advertisement in the New York Times on Sunday.
- 1:33:47SPEAKER_42: The group says the boycott could divert billions in back to school spending from the Minneapolis Company.
- 1:33:54SPEAKER_42: The AFT, which has 1.8 million members, is an affiliate of the AFL CIO.
- 1:33:58SPEAKER_42: They argue that Target's officials refuse to stand up to ICE despite a month's long demand from Twin Cities organizers.
- 1:34:08SPEAKER_42: Target representatives declined to comment on the boycott.
- 1:34:10SPEAKER_42: Good for them.
- 1:34:11SPEAKER_42: Why waste your time?
- 1:34:13SPEAKER_42: But confirmed to the Star Tribune that Target has no relationship or cooperative agreement with ICE.
- 1:34:18SPEAKER_42: Of course they don't.
- 1:34:19SPEAKER_42: They could have done this to anybody.
- 1:34:21SPEAKER_42: Under the standard of which the American Federation of Teachers is moving forward on this boycott.
- 1:34:28SPEAKER_42: This is specifically targeted to Target, no pun intended, because they are a large corporation here in Minnesota.
- 1:34:35SPEAKER_42: Whenever there's news about Target, it makes waves.
- 1:34:38SPEAKER_42: I have the example coming up here in just a moment because of the offensive, doing that thing with my fingers, Halloween costume that they've pulled off the shelves.
- 1:34:45SPEAKER_42: They know full well that they're going to get a lot of attention over this if they move forward with a ridiculous, frivolous boycott like this.
- 1:34:53SPEAKER_42: You could target virtually anybody, any business that hasn't made a public statement regarding denouncing ice.
- 1:35:05SPEAKER_42: But they chose Target because they can get a lot of attention over it.
- 1:35:10SPEAKER_42: The hacks that they are.
- 1:35:11SPEAKER_42: It's pathetic.
- 1:35:13SPEAKER_42: Equally pathetic along these same lines.
- 1:35:16SPEAKER_42: Star Tribune headline this morning.
- 1:35:18SPEAKER_42: Minnesota ranked best in the country for quality of life.
- 1:35:23SPEAKER_42: That's right.
- 1:35:24SPEAKER_42: Best in the country for quality of life.
- 1:35:26SPEAKER_42: Now, of course, you know, we've made a decision to stay here.
- 1:35:28SPEAKER_42: I've made a decision to stay here.
- 1:35:30SPEAKER_42: I think this is a state worth fighting for and has a lot to offer.
- 1:35:33SPEAKER_42: That being said, we're not there yet.
- 1:35:37SPEAKER_42: Several Midwestern states ranked high in the State of the Nation Project's newest report.
- 1:35:44SPEAKER_42: You have to get into the details to find out exactly how they got this ranking the way that they did.
- 1:35:48SPEAKER_42: The State of the Nation Project is a bipartisan group focused on the challenges and the progress of Americans.
- 1:35:56SPEAKER_42: They released the study's findings over the weekend, doing that thing with my fingers on assessing how the country is doing.
- 1:36:05SPEAKER_42: The report analyzed 31 quality of life factors across all 50 states.
- 1:36:10SPEAKER_42: Okay.
- 1:36:12SPEAKER_42: So they give you the top factors, which is all you need to know about how completely ridiculous the survey was.
- 1:36:21SPEAKER_42: You ready?
- 1:36:22SPEAKER_42: Minnesota ranked in the top five states for citizenship and democracy.
- 1:36:30SPEAKER_42: That's not vague at all.
- 1:36:34SPEAKER_42: Which is measured by voter participation.
- 1:36:38SPEAKER_42: Now remember, we do have a lot of people that vote in our elections.
- 1:36:41SPEAKER_42: Of course, the question is how many of those individuals should be voting in our elections.
- 1:36:45SPEAKER_42: But we have a lot of issues here in Minnesota.
- 1:36:48SPEAKER_42: The Democrats know what's at stake in terms of their commie agenda, and they know that it's on the line given this slate of candidates that the Republican Party has now gone and put forward.
- 1:36:59SPEAKER_42: We have a lot of individuals that participate in our elections every single year for that very reason that I just mentioned.
- 1:37:06SPEAKER_42: Also in education.
- 1:37:07SPEAKER_42: So in terms of education, what are they taking into account?
- 1:37:10SPEAKER_42: Is it test scores?
- 1:37:12SPEAKER_42: Right?
- 1:37:14SPEAKER_42: Is it the is it the college prep tests that they're taking, right?
- 1:37:18SPEAKER_42: ACTs or whatever the heck they're called?
- 1:37:20SPEAKER_42: No, it takes into account not the test scores, but the average years of schooling of its residents and the percentage of young adults employed or in school.
- 1:37:31SPEAKER_42: It has nothing about the quality of education.
- 1:37:34SPEAKER_42: It's basically just there's a lot of people that participate here in education, and we graduate a lot of people because our requirements are so low.
- 1:37:42SPEAKER_42: But of course, that's not included in this stupid survey.
- 1:37:45SPEAKER_42: And to make matters worse, the propaganda is absolutely real because the Star Tribune ran with a photograph of Governor Dim Walls clapping along with the headline of Minnesota ranked best in the country for quality of life.
- 1:38:02SPEAKER_42: As if he had something to do with all of that.
- 1:38:04SPEAKER_20: Very good.
- 1:38:05SPEAKER_20: Very good.
- 1:38:06SPEAKER_42: Now the truth of the matter is he did because he's partly responsible along with the DFL, who's wholly responsible along with Walls, in lowering the quality of education standards here in Minnesota.
- 1:38:18SPEAKER_42: In allowing the fraud to grab hold the way that it did to the tune of billions of dollars, none of which, of course, was included in the state of the nation project uh project.
- 1:38:29SPEAKER_42: I found this on uh on X attached to this, and I thought I'd share it with you.
- 1:38:33SPEAKER_42: Uh Sam E.
- 1:38:34SPEAKER_42: Antar.
- 1:38:35SPEAKER_42: This is how political propaganda works.
- 1:38:37SPEAKER_42: Here's how he breaks it down.
- 1:38:39SPEAKER_42: Minnesota ranks 32nd for its economy, 26th for safety, 12th for quality of life in wallet hubs, current 2026 rankings for what it's worth, pocket wallet survey.
- 1:38:51SPEAKER_42: His tax system ranks 44th out of 50 for competitiveness.
- 1:38:56SPEAKER_40: And I'm not even getting to the items on the wrong track, Minnesota.
- 1:39:02SPEAKER_42: But sure, Democrats found one spreadsheet, one organization that crowned Minnesota number one, so apparently the debate is over.
- 1:39:10SPEAKER_42: And he's right, Sam Antar is right.
- 1:39:12SPEAKER_42: It's a campaign ad disguised as a as a statistic.
- 1:39:17SPEAKER_42: Remember, kids in Mississippi can read better than kids in Minnesota.
- 1:39:21SPEAKER_42: Statistical facts.
- 1:39:22SPEAKER_42: All these are.
- 1:39:24SPEAKER_42: Minnesota is now below average state economically.
- 1:39:27SPEAKER_42: 55% of Minnesota students can't do math at a grade level.
- 1:39:30SPEAKER_42: Minnesota taxes, small businesses more than any other state.
- 1:39:33SPEAKER_42: Minnesota government led fraudsters steal over nine billion dollars.
- 1:39:38SPEAKER_42: Oh, and how's that quality of life for all the people in uh Minneapolis right now who had their automobiles smashed and vandalized, seemingly for no good reason over the past weekend?
- 1:39:50SPEAKER_42: Something that continues time and time again in Minneapolis.
- 1:39:53SPEAKER_42: How's their quality of life, by the way?
- 1:39:54SPEAKER_42: Was that included in this stupid survey as well, making us number one on their rankings?
- 1:40:00SPEAKER_42: No.
- 1:40:00SPEAKER_42: These surveys are put out there, like we've joked about on the show in terms of the pocket wallet surveys, because they know that it's going to get a lot of attention.
- 1:40:07SPEAKER_42: It's going to end up benefiting uh Democrats here in the end.
- 1:40:13SPEAKER_42: So they go and they gain the numbers to make things look as rosy as humanly possible.
- 1:40:19SPEAKER_42: Is it a great state to live?
- 1:40:20SPEAKER_42: Absolutely.
- 1:40:21SPEAKER_42: Have I decided here, given the opportunity to leave to stay here with my family?
- 1:40:25SPEAKER_42: Yes, because I too believe this is a state worth uh fighting for, and I enjoy uh living here.
- 1:40:31SPEAKER_42: But we're certainly far from being number one on any metric.
- 1:40:35SPEAKER_42: This is why the elections in November are so incredibly important.
- 1:40:41SPEAKER_42: Let's get back to some of your thoughts on the blaster line this morning here on the John Justice Show.
- 1:40:44SPEAKER_28: Good morning, John.
- 1:40:45SPEAKER_28: Of course, a lot of kids go to college in the state.
- 1:40:48SPEAKER_28: You only need a 3.0, potentially even a 2.7, to get into a lot of the Minnesota State colleges in this in the state.
- 1:40:57SPEAKER_28: A thing, don't forget, we also have the Thomas Act.
- 1:41:00SPEAKER_28: So if your family makes less than$80,000 a year, you're also getting free college tuition.
- 1:41:06SPEAKER_28: So why don't these kids go to school?
- 1:41:10unknown: Yeah.
- 1:41:10SPEAKER_28: They don't have to work hard when they get there.
- 1:41:13SPEAKER_28: They get a free education for doing the very bare minimum.
- 1:41:19SPEAKER_42: Thank you so much for the comment.
- 1:41:21SPEAKER_42: A lot of blasts have rolled in, and I want to give myself the opportunity to uh preview some of them so I can share them with you.
- 1:41:30SPEAKER_42: So we're gonna get to your thoughts here in just a moment, here on the John Justice show.
- 1:41:33SPEAKER_42: Thank you to everybody who's been uh hanging out.
- 1:41:35SPEAKER_42: Remember, you can get caught up on the show via the podcast.
- 1:41:38SPEAKER_42: That's posted into the Mix LR app where you're listening to the show live, also across all the podcast platforms.
- 1:41:44SPEAKER_42: And if you're watching the show, if you missed any portion and you want to watch the video back, those are posted when the show is over, both on Facebook and on YouTube and on Rumble as um as well.
- 1:41:54SPEAKER_42: So um I want to share with you a friend of the show, uh Kenneth, made a new parody for us.
- 1:42:00SPEAKER_42: I played a preview of it last week, but I didn't play it almost in its entirety.
- 1:42:04SPEAKER_42: So let me go ahead and share this brand new uh parody from a friend of the show.
- 1:42:08SPEAKER_42: It's called No Fraud Here, doing that thing with my palms, just everywhere else.
- 1:42:14SPEAKER_42: And while you enjoy this brand new parody, courtesy of a friend of the show, I'm gonna uh preview some of your uh comments, and we'll get to those coming up next here on the John Justice show presented by American Experiment.
- 1:42:32SPEAKER_32: 250 million for meals that never hit a plate, feeding our future, feeding luxury estate, shell companies fake it, Mercedes Inventions While the auditors struggled and the checks kept it fast, healthy friends medicated biggest in the books.
- 1:45:17SPEAKER_32: Meanwhile, the nutrition program couldn't keep the door.
- 1:45:24SPEAKER_32: Same state, same leaders, same authenticity.
- 1:45:31SPEAKER_32: One's just to stay free, the other's free money.
- 1:46:19SPEAKER_42: Contributing uh that new parody into our uh list of uh parody songs here on the John Justice show, presented by American uh Experiment.
- 1:46:28SPEAKER_42: I've had the opportunity to go through several of your uh blasts this morning before we move on to offensive Halloween uh costumes and authorities identifying the Minneapolis Spider-Man who was arrested for assault at the uh uh Jake Lang uh rally.
- 1:46:43SPEAKER_42: First off, I want to go um back to Bob.
- 1:46:45SPEAKER_42: Bob had his comment cut off before responding to our resident conspiracy uh theorist friend of the show.
- 1:46:52SPEAKER_42: So I wanted to give him a chance to share his complete thoughts uh on the issue uh regarding the fabrication of the war in Iran.
- 1:47:00SPEAKER_25: Good morning, Bob from Like Gilmo, also uh Navy veteran.
- 1:47:04SPEAKER_25: Um your caller is so awesome, Mark, on her rage on this conspiracy theory.
- 1:47:09SPEAKER_25: I read an interesting article lately about those that are in conspiracy theory, the whole circle of them should really take a look at their pride.
- 1:47:20SPEAKER_25: Pride seems to be a common denominator of people that really get wrapped into these things.
- 1:47:25SPEAKER_25: And I know something you don't know, and the prideful nature of that.
- 1:47:30SPEAKER_25: Take a look in the mirror.
- 1:47:33SPEAKER_42: And I just want to be clear in terms of the generalizing that I did earlier, because you generalize as talk show hosts.
- 1:47:40SPEAKER_42: Of course, there have been some things that have been labeled conspiracies in the past that ended up coming true.
- 1:47:46SPEAKER_42: I mean, the COVID pandemic being one of them, and I've certainly been vocal about how wrong I was on my view of the pandemic when it when it started and trusting for even an inkling that we were just gonna do two weeks to uh to slow the to slow the spread.
- 1:47:59SPEAKER_42: So I want to understand, I want to make sure that I'm um being as clear as I possibly can without saying let me be clear, that yes, there are some things that end up coming true.
- 1:48:11SPEAKER_42: But for the vast you know, majority of individuals, especially the conspiracies that I hear a lot, ones regarding Iran or masks on candidates, or Joe Biden having died a long time, as other people have postulated in the uh comments this morning, that's the kind of stuff that I'm talking about.
- 1:48:27SPEAKER_42: So, again, just wanted to offer some clarity coming from the talk show host.
- 1:48:31SPEAKER_42: Let's get back to more of your thoughts from the blaster line this morning here on the John Justice show.
- 1:48:36SPEAKER_25: Someone needs to do a study on the brains of middle-aged women after COVID happened because both left and right, the middle-aged women are the little older maybe 60 women.
- 1:48:51SPEAKER_25: The conspiracy theories are out of control with these women.
- 1:48:56SPEAKER_25: I've seen it personally.
- 1:48:58SPEAKER_25: We need a study job of doctors and doctors every day.
- 1:49:03SPEAKER_42: We need like a it needs to be a team.
- 1:49:05SPEAKER_42: You're right, it needs to be like a university level team involved in examining the mentality of some of these individuals.
- 1:49:12SPEAKER_42: This isn't this isn't really anything new.
- 1:49:14SPEAKER_42: I don't often share this.
- 1:49:15SPEAKER_42: I get this all the time on the show.
- 1:49:16SPEAKER_42: I have for years.
- 1:49:18SPEAKER_42: Individuals that put forward these ridiculous conspiracy theories that never offer anything else else of substance.
- 1:49:24SPEAKER_42: And I guess that's what I'm what I'm really sort of annoyed by and what triggered me this morning.
- 1:49:28SPEAKER_42: It's much in the same way that you know, your foes of the show, the Trump derangement syndrome sufferers, they get stuck on stupid, just checking the boxes when it comes to the anti-Trump stuff.
- 1:49:40SPEAKER_42: And you get the same thing coming from individuals on the right and people that I genuinely and generally agree with in terms of the policy issues.
- 1:49:47SPEAKER_42: But when it comes to certain issues, it suddenly just becomes a conspiracy.
- 1:49:50SPEAKER_42: Nothing is real, and there's nothing of substance being offered.
- 1:49:54SPEAKER_42: After hearing this over and over and over again for years, there's a certain point where I go, you know what?
- 1:50:00SPEAKER_42: Enough's enough already.
- 1:50:01SPEAKER_42: Offer something of substance beyond what you're talking about isn't real.
- 1:50:06SPEAKER_42: The show must be really, really entertaining.
- 1:50:08SPEAKER_42: Because according to a lot of these people, everything that I talk about on the show is a fabrication.
- 1:50:13SPEAKER_42: I guess I'm just that entertaining, Devin.
- 1:50:15SPEAKER_42: Let's get back to your thoughts from the blaster line this morning here on the show.
- 1:50:18SPEAKER_42: Good morning, John.
- 1:50:19SPEAKER_20: Matt from Apple Valley.
- 1:50:21SPEAKER_20: It shows the teachers' union is not involved really in teaching when they're spending so much time protesting or complaining about Target.
- 1:50:33SPEAKER_20: What does Target have to do with teaching kids to read, do math?
- 1:50:37SPEAKER_42: Yeah, nothing.
- 1:50:38SPEAKER_42: You're absolutely right.
- 1:50:39SPEAKER_42: It's a distraction.
- 1:50:40SPEAKER_42: It's an absolute distraction.
- 1:50:43SPEAKER_42: It's beyond stupid and a complete waste of energy and time.
- 1:50:49SPEAKER_42: Another theme.
- 1:50:50SPEAKER_42: Just a complete waste of time to go and boycott a target because they didn't denounce something that the teachers union wanted them to denounce.
- 1:51:04SPEAKER_42: I mean, in what in what circumstances in real life does anybody go and and you didn't go and push back on this thing that you didn't know I wanted you to go push back on.
- 1:51:12SPEAKER_42: Therefore, I'm gonna boycott you.
- 1:51:14SPEAKER_22: Yeah.
- 1:51:15SPEAKER_42: That's what crazy people do.
- 1:51:18SPEAKER_22: Hey John, good morning.
- 1:51:19SPEAKER_22: Uh just wanted to comment on the target thing.
- 1:51:22SPEAKER_22: 100% agree with you.
- 1:51:24SPEAKER_22: I do, however, find it peculiar that uh they kind of cater to that group of people.
- 1:51:31SPEAKER_22: So I mean, it's hard for the course.
- 1:51:36SPEAKER_40: It's called capitalism, not that I agree with it.
- 1:51:38SPEAKER_42: And there's some people that have commented on things that Target has sold in the past, and I'm with you.
- 1:51:43SPEAKER_42: I think we stopped our shopping at Target for a while, too, when they were targeting uh children when it comes to the transgender clothing and all of that.
- 1:51:51SPEAKER_42: But you know, there's liberals within Target that make these decisions, make no mistake, but they're also going where they believe the dollars are.
- 1:51:58SPEAKER_42: Ultimately, Target is a retailer.
- 1:52:01SPEAKER_42: They're a business that's in it to make money.
- 1:52:04SPEAKER_42: And at a time when Biden was in office, you have a hard time going and criticizing an organization like Target for not believing that this is where the country wanted to go and spend their money because it's all you saw online, but it was not representative of the majority of individuals who still, regardless of political affiliation, have common sense in their heads enough to know on the issue of biology, that there is only biological male and females, and there is nothing, there is no such thing as a trans child.
- 1:52:38SPEAKER_42: But Target was following the money.
- 1:52:40SPEAKER_42: They're more apt to go and follow the money.
- 1:52:42SPEAKER_42: They are more, they are faster to go and market this stuff when they feel like they can make a quick buck.
- 1:52:48SPEAKER_42: A lot of corporations are like that, but that's the reason why they did it, and also the reason why they ended up pulling these items.
- 1:52:54SPEAKER_42: Because it was no longer a benefit to them financially to carry them and they were losing too much business.
- 1:53:01SPEAKER_42: So basically, they're just putting their target finger up to the wind to see which way the consumer winds are blowing, which is partly the reason why you have now the teachers union targeting them because you're right.
- 1:53:15SPEAKER_42: Target kind of made this problem on their own because they've been vocal about these issues in the past.
- 1:53:19SPEAKER_42: They've made themselves a target.
- 1:53:22SPEAKER_42: Target has made themselves a target.
- 1:53:23SPEAKER_42: A lot of target talk this morning.
- 1:53:25SPEAKER_42: I know.
- 1:53:25SPEAKER_42: Yeah.
- 1:53:27SPEAKER_25: God, how dare you disagree?
- 1:53:30SPEAKER_25: Don't you know we're watching a big movie?
- 1:53:33SPEAKER_25: Katie Vance is really a whole walker with a mat.
- 1:53:37SPEAKER_41: I haven't heard that.
- 1:53:44SPEAKER_25: Hillary Clinton.
- 1:53:48SPEAKER_25: We've all been executed.
- 1:53:49SPEAKER_25: Joe Biden's been dead for years.
- 1:53:52SPEAKER_25: Wait.
- 1:53:53SPEAKER_25: You just wait and enjoy the show.
- 1:53:56SPEAKER_42: Chris, you made my morning.
- 1:53:58SPEAKER_42: If I were doing a blast of the day, that would have been top of the list.
- 1:54:01SPEAKER_42: We need to bring that back, by the way.
- 1:54:03SPEAKER_42: We just need a sponsor.
- 1:54:04SPEAKER_42: If you want to sponsor the blast of the day, drop me an email, John.justice at american experiment.org, and we can make that happen.
- 1:54:11SPEAKER_42: At a very competitive cost, by the way.
- 1:54:13SPEAKER_42: Let's get back to more of your thoughts this morning.
- 1:54:17SPEAKER_16: Hi Grad, thank you for telling me that the teachers union doesn't want me to shop at Target because now I will definitely shop at Target even more than I usually do.
- 1:54:29SPEAKER_16: And you know what?
- 1:54:30SPEAKER_16: How dare they focus on anything but making sure our students, our kids know how to read and write because they're too far behind.
- 1:54:41SPEAKER_16: But yeah, I'll be shopping at Target more now.
- 1:54:44SPEAKER_16: Thank you.
- 1:54:45SPEAKER_42: Thank you for the uh comment.
- 1:54:47SPEAKER_42: 612-584-4565, if you want to leave a blast.
- 1:54:52SPEAKER_25: Good morning, John.
- 1:54:53SPEAKER_25: Justin from Sunny Zerman.
- 1:54:55SPEAKER_25: I'm just kind of wondering what the teachers union have to do with ICE at all?
- 1:55:00SPEAKER_25: Shouldn't they be concerned with actually teaching kids, or maybe they're just looking to take our tech care now?
- 1:55:06SPEAKER_42: Yeah, pretty much.
- 1:55:07SPEAKER_42: Uh let's go uh here.
- 1:55:11SPEAKER_42: Hear from another friend of the show.
- 1:55:13SPEAKER_24: Hey, good morning, John.
- 1:55:14SPEAKER_24: All these teachers, um, boy cycling target.
- 1:55:18SPEAKER_24: What are you gonna tell your high school students that work at Target to put their jobs now?
- 1:55:23SPEAKER_24: Are you are you gonna please for a few of your members to make sure that they don't have any refuge?
- 1:55:29SPEAKER_24: You gotta turn on your drop and repeat.
- 1:55:32SPEAKER_24: This was a bunch of this was a bunch of crap.
- 1:55:35SPEAKER_24: Do you just want to mention Operation Metro Surge again to get the name of that back in the headline so Peggy Flanagan can come out tomorrow and talk about Trump and uh Operation Metro Surge.
- 1:55:47SPEAKER_24: Oh like a loser.
- 1:55:49SPEAKER_42: You know what?
- 1:55:49SPEAKER_42: Thank you so much for that because that's a great point and one that I didn't make on the show and didn't land on, and you're absolutely right.
- 1:55:55SPEAKER_42: And it's probably the biggest motivating factor as to why the teachers union is doing this.
- 1:55:59SPEAKER_42: It's the same reason why the local media outlets here in Minnesota have suddenly been talking about Operation Metro Surge again, because they need something to campaign on.
- 1:56:07SPEAKER_42: It's why you have these hacktivist former elected officials and elected officials making up ridiculous arguments about Lisa Damath going and lifting the um the abortion availability here in the state.
- 1:56:24SPEAKER_42: It's why the teachers union is now going after Target and bringing immigration and customs enforcement and Operation Metro Surge back into the mix because these are the only items that they can go and run on.
- 1:56:34SPEAKER_42: So thank you so much for pointing that out because again, that's probably the biggest motivating factor as to why the teachers union is targeting Target, is just so they can continue talking about Operation Metro Surge, because it's the only thing that they believe, along with abortion, is going to provide them the opportunity to get their broken and brainwashed base of voters off their butts to vote for a bunch of communists for crying out loud.
- 1:56:58SPEAKER_42: If you need to take a break from all of this and just relax, first off, you need to make sure you're getting a good night's sleep.
- 1:57:05SPEAKER_42: Also, if you just want to relax and chill out and take your mind off of everything, the uh fun gummies and the spooky mini leaf tonics available at Mini Leaf are the perfect solution.
- 1:57:14SPEAKER_42: And to get your sleep back on track, the night gummies, I swear by them, took them last night.
- 1:57:18SPEAKER_42: And as I was talking about earlier, I don't think I wrapped up my point, is that I got home later than I typically do, and usually I miss my sleep flight.
- 1:57:26SPEAKER_42: But taking a night gummy, doesn't matter.
- 1:57:28SPEAKER_42: I take one within about 20 minutes, I am out like a light, waking up feeling refreshed to come in and talk to you Monday through Friday, 6 until 9 a.m.
- 1:57:37SPEAKER_42: here on the show.
- 1:57:38SPEAKER_42: Head on over to M-I-N-N-E-L-E-A-F.com.
- 1:57:41SPEAKER_42: That's minileaf.com.
- 1:57:44SPEAKER_42: And there you can take a look at all of their amazing products, all third-party tested, made with all natural ingredients.
- 1:57:51SPEAKER_42: Uh Eric and his wife uh locally, they want to help you locally here in Minnesota live a better life through their products, and that's exactly what happens with the mini leaf products.
- 1:58:01SPEAKER_42: They're packaged locally.
- 1:58:02SPEAKER_42: The spooky mini leaf tonics are brewed in Eden Prairie, so head on over and taste happy at M-I-N-N-E-L-E-A-F.com.
- 1:58:09SPEAKER_42: That's minileaf.com.
- 1:58:11SPEAKER_42: Let's go back to the blaster line.
- 1:58:12SPEAKER_42: We'll hear from friend of the show, Bruce.
- 1:58:16SPEAKER_25: Good morning, John.
- 1:58:17SPEAKER_25: Um, my wife stopped shopping at Target after the uh incident with the transgender kid clothes.
- 1:58:24SPEAKER_25: But I think she might go back if Target would introduce a Halloween costume.
- 1:58:29SPEAKER_25: A Randy Weingarten screaming costume.
- 1:58:34SPEAKER_25: What do you think?
- 1:58:35SPEAKER_42: Well, speaking of uh Halloween costumes, Target has certainly apparently stepped in it.
- 1:58:40SPEAKER_42: I had to do some digging to find out why and how this uh costume was uh offensive.
- 1:58:46SPEAKER_42: And we're gonna kick off the next hour talking about this very issue ahead of my conversation with Representative uh Tom Emmer.
- 1:58:53SPEAKER_42: For those that are watching on the stream, I'll show you what the costume looks like.
- 1:58:56SPEAKER_42: For those that are listening, I will do my best to describe this Halloween-colored clown costume, which is what it looks like.
- 1:59:02SPEAKER_42: So before we get to that, though, we have a fantastic event coming up in September.
- 1:59:06SPEAKER_42: It is the uh 2026 uh Center of the American Experiment fall uh fall briefing with uh Byron York, the battle for Congress.
- 1:59:13SPEAKER_42: Uh, here is Grace Keating to tell you a little bit more about this amazing event here on the John Justice Show, presented by American Experiment.
- 1:59:20SPEAKER_43: Join Center of the American Experiment on Saturday, September 19th.
- 1:59:32SPEAKER_42: We'll try this again, shall we?
- 1:59:34SPEAKER_43: Join Center of the American Experiment on Saturday, September 19th for our 2026 fall briefing featuring Byron York.
- 1:59:41SPEAKER_43: Byron York is the chief political correspondent for the Washington Examiner, but you probably know him from his frequent appearances on Fox News.
- 1:59:49SPEAKER_43: York will give us an update on the race to control the U.S.
- 1:59:51SPEAKER_43: House and Senate, and will show how Minnesota fits into the 2026 electoral map.
- 1:59:56SPEAKER_43: Will President Trump beat the odds and grow his power in Congress?
- 2:00:00SPEAKER_43: Or will Democrats take over and throw Washington into gridlock?
- 2:00:04SPEAKER_43: Join us at the beautiful winery at Sovereign Estate to hear York's timely message.
- 2:00:08SPEAKER_43: Plus, enjoy great views, conversation, and food and drink.
- 2:00:12SPEAKER_43: Tickets are going fast, and we do expect this event to sell out.
- 2:00:15SPEAKER_43: Get your tickets now at americanexperiment.org slash events.
- 2:00:19SPEAKER_43: That's AmericaneExperiment.org slash events.
- 2:00:25SPEAKER_42: You know, when I were when uh when we were working in radio, and Devin knows this, uh, if you had, I don't know, how long was it?
- 2:00:31SPEAKER_42: What, 10 seconds, 10, 15 seconds of dead air?
- 2:00:34SPEAKER_42: You had these uh sirens that would go off, and there was a digital screen, it would go off in other studios.
- 2:00:39SPEAKER_42: And typically it would be Chris Carr from K102 that would come in and say, Hey, what's going on?
- 2:00:43SPEAKER_40: Everything good?
- 2:00:43SPEAKER_40: You need any help or anything?
- 2:00:45SPEAKER_42: Whenever that happens here, and I have a moment of dead air, that whole, that whole, that mentality, that panic mode kicks in, and then I had this moment of, ah, you know what, there's no alarms going off.
- 2:00:53SPEAKER_42: It may be quiet for a second, but people can handle it.
- 2:00:56SPEAKER_42: I had the volume turned down.
- 2:00:57SPEAKER_42: That was my completely, completely my bad.
- 2:01:01SPEAKER_42: I'm surprised that I actually run things, and Devin helps much with this, which is why I'm glad that uh that he's here.
- 2:01:07SPEAKER_42: I'm some I'm surprised that things run as smoothly as they do here.
- 2:01:11SPEAKER_42: We're doing uh we're doing a lot of growing.
- 2:01:13SPEAKER_42: We've got a lot of plans for the future.
- 2:01:15SPEAKER_42: Let's go ahead and kick off uh the third hour of the show.
- 2:01:38SPEAKER_42: If you want to take part in the show, you can leave us a blast on the blaster line.
- 2:01:43SPEAKER_42: And that number is 612-584-4565.
- 2:01:46SPEAKER_42: You can also drop me an email, john.justice at american experimented.org.
- 2:01:51SPEAKER_42: And this may help with this uh friend of the show.
- 2:01:54SPEAKER_26: Oh, hi, John.
- 2:01:55SPEAKER_26: I was wondering, are we able to like send you things through this line via text?
- 2:02:02SPEAKER_26: I'm not on social media, but I have some information about a goofball that lives in Columbia Heights.
- 2:02:10SPEAKER_26: Okay, let us know when you come back from commercial when you have time.
- 2:02:14SPEAKER_26: Thank you.
- 2:02:14SPEAKER_26: Have a great day.
- 2:02:16SPEAKER_42: So you can't leave a text on the line, but if you do want to leave a message on here uh and just say this is not for on air, you can do that via the via the blaster line.
- 2:02:27SPEAKER_42: I look at all of these.
- 2:02:28SPEAKER_42: I come in in the morning and there's messages left for me overnight when the show obviously isn't live, if it's not between 6 and 9 a.m.
- 2:02:36SPEAKER_42: And sometimes we go uh a little bit over.
- 2:02:38SPEAKER_42: So if you have information that you want to share with me, but you um don't want it to go on the show, just just tell me.
- 2:02:45SPEAKER_42: If you just say, hey, this is not to go on the show, but this is what I want to share with you.
- 2:02:49SPEAKER_42: Yeah, you can give me a call at 612-584-4565.
- 2:02:53SPEAKER_42: Again, uh 612-584-4565.
- 2:02:56SPEAKER_42: All right, so we've been talking a lot about Target.
- 2:02:58SPEAKER_42: Let's go here.
- 2:02:58SPEAKER_42: Target removed a circus clown Halloween costume from stores after online backlash, accused it of evoking blackface.
- 2:03:08SPEAKER_42: Okay.
- 2:03:09SPEAKER_42: And minstrel shows.
- 2:03:11SPEAKER_42: The retailer apologized, acknowledging the costume was offensive and should not have been sold.
- 2:03:18SPEAKER_42: So essentially, it is uh it looks like a clown costume.
- 2:03:21unknown: Okay.
- 2:03:22SPEAKER_42: In the photograph uh depicting this costume at Target, um, there is a black child wearing the costume, which I don't think helped in terms of the imagery that people believe the costume is evoking.
- 2:03:37SPEAKER_42: Uh, it's basically just a black and orange, it looks like a clown costume.
- 2:03:41SPEAKER_42: It has the typical diamond patterned pants that you would see, like on court gestures, but in black and orange.
- 2:03:48SPEAKER_42: And then uh the top, long sleeve, has kind of a frill at the end, has a similar orange and black scheme, but it's more of the jagged line variety, like what you would see on Charlie Brown's yellow shirt with the black A image.
- 2:04:03SPEAKER_42: It's included with kind of an over the head, it looks like a, it looks like a not a hood's not the right word.
- 2:04:09SPEAKER_42: It looks like what would you call it, Devin?
- 2:04:11SPEAKER_42: I'd almost call it a mask.
- 2:04:12SPEAKER_42: Yeah, like a yeah, it's like a mask that goes over their head with a big, broad, smiling face and then a little tiny top hat.
- 2:04:19SPEAKER_42: Now, when I saw it, I thought, okay, that's a clown.
- 2:04:22SPEAKER_42: The smile uh evokes, and it's a really bad reference, but it evokes the, well, the Joker, for one, a big broad smile, but specifically in the Jared Leto Joker, where he had the tattoo on his hand and he would go and put it up to his face and it made the big smile.
- 2:04:39SPEAKER_42: So when I first saw the the the costume, I I had no, I'm like, I have no idea why this is being considered racist.
- 2:04:47SPEAKER_42: What people are pointing to with this is some people found there's like one specific image of the caricature of Jim Crow.
- 2:05:00SPEAKER_42: And people are saying that that's what this is.
- 2:05:03SPEAKER_42: So for those that aren't familiar, the name comes from Jump Jim Crow.
- 2:05:07SPEAKER_42: This was a song and dance routine going all the way back to 1828.
- 2:05:12SPEAKER_42: Uh, to 1828.
- 2:05:14SPEAKER_42: This was uh by Thomas Dartmouth Rice.
- 2:05:17SPEAKER_42: He was a white actor who performed in Blackface back in 1828.
- 2:05:22SPEAKER_42: Rice portrayed a caricatured, dim-witted black slave.
- 2:05:27SPEAKER_42: I'm looking at the description online, uh, and the name became a slang term, of course, and a racial epithet for African Americans.
- 2:05:36SPEAKER_42: So I've seen the images side by side, and I get where people are seeing the correlation.
- 2:05:42SPEAKER_42: I just, I guess I'm having a hard time believing that somebody would actually go so far as to create a costume like that, evoking that specific uh image.
- 2:05:53SPEAKER_42: Be that as it may, Target's not selling it anymore.
- 2:05:57SPEAKER_42: I just think it's a dumb costume.
- 2:05:58SPEAKER_42: Even before you get to the racism part of it, I don't know what child would want to go and wear that costume.
- 2:06:03SPEAKER_42: I've never understood costumes that aren't of a particular thing.
- 2:06:07SPEAKER_42: Like there was one year when my eldest Logan won a full one-colored bodysuit, and it was back like something like Blue Man group would wear, but there was one season when that was like all the rage with the kids, was this full like day glow green bodysuit, and this was supposed to be the uh the costume.
- 2:06:28SPEAKER_42: So it was sold under the kids uh kids glows under black light circus clown Halloween costume, according to the since deleted listing.
- 2:06:38SPEAKER_42: It was sold as part of the retailer's seasonal hide and eek boutique brand.
- 2:06:45SPEAKER_42: Hide and eek.
- 2:06:47SPEAKER_42: Okay.
- 2:06:48SPEAKER_42: I guess we don't want to be encouraging children to hide and seek anymore.
- 2:06:53SPEAKER_42: Is that I know they're just doing a play on words.
- 2:06:56SPEAKER_42: I probably shouldn't get stuck on that.
- 2:06:57SPEAKER_42: Uh Target removed the offensive, doing that thing with my fingers costume, and said it should never have been featured in its stores.
- 2:07:05SPEAKER_42: As a company, we know we got this wrong.
- 2:07:07SPEAKER_42: We are deeply sorry.
- 2:07:08SPEAKER_42: The costume is offensive and should never have been a part of the assortment.
- 2:07:11SPEAKER_42: So when I found out about this yesterday, so I'm on I'm on X, and I see that post from Target.
- 2:07:21SPEAKER_42: Target had posted this, it ended up on my timeline.
- 2:07:24SPEAKER_42: As a company, we know we got it wrong.
- 2:07:26SPEAKER_42: We're deeply sorry.
- 2:07:26SPEAKER_42: The costume is offensive, should never have been part of our assortment.
- 2:07:30SPEAKER_42: It's no longer available for sale.
- 2:07:32SPEAKER_42: We know this is especially hurtful for our black guests, team members, and partners.
- 2:07:37SPEAKER_42: Removing the costume is an important first step, and the company is looking closely at how this happened and what needs to change in order to ensure this won't happen again.
- 2:07:46SPEAKER_42: What's funny about it is that there wasn't an image or any details in the post from Target.
- 2:07:51SPEAKER_42: All it did was spark my curiosity.
- 2:07:54SPEAKER_40: All it did was make me want to go look to see what the costume looked like.
- 2:07:57SPEAKER_40: And now more people are gonna see this costume than ever would have.
- 2:08:01SPEAKER_42: And maybe it was completely unavoidable.
- 2:08:04SPEAKER_42: This is one of the things when it comes to boycotts that I often don't understand is that you end up bringing attention to the very thing that you weren't going to bring attention to.
- 2:08:11SPEAKER_42: It's like with the teachers' boycott of Target.
- 2:08:14SPEAKER_42: We have the, you know, the anecdotal evidence via the blast this morning of 612-584-4565, where the person said, Well, now I'm gonna go in.
- 2:08:23SPEAKER_42: If the if the teachers union is targeting Target, then I'm gonna go and spend some money there just to stick it to the teachers' union.
- 2:08:29SPEAKER_42: So again, it's not about really hurting Target.
- 2:08:31SPEAKER_42: It's about sending a message for the for the teachers union.
- 2:08:34SPEAKER_42: It's about keeping ICE and Operation Metro Surge top of mind for their broken and brainwashed individuals.
- 2:08:40SPEAKER_42: And maybe Target had no choice but to address this, but could you not just quietly just remove it and not make a public statement?
- 2:08:49SPEAKER_42: I mean, I maybe, maybe you can't.
- 2:08:50SPEAKER_42: Maybe it it had grown beyond that by the time that I came across the story, where that was just a complete and total impossibility.
- 2:08:57SPEAKER_42: The move to pull the costume comes after social media backlash, in which critics accused the Minneapolis-based retailer of selling racist merchandise.
- 2:09:07SPEAKER_42: It is kind of interesting to me that this product ended up all the way into stores and online before anybody went and said anything.
- 2:09:16SPEAKER_42: And like I told you, I had to go looking to see what this was actually, why this was actually controversial.
- 2:09:24SPEAKER_42: You really don't have anyone left in Minneapolis to say, hey, that's racist, y'all.
- 2:09:29SPEAKER_42: Cut the DA, uh the DEI, and now you've got a menstrual clown costume for kids on your website, wrote one user on threads.
- 2:09:37SPEAKER_42: Of course, it was on threads.
- 2:09:39SPEAKER_42: That does not surprise me at all.
- 2:09:42SPEAKER_42: Uh, Target, of course, as you know, uh, joined a broad corporate effort to scale back its diversity initiatives after Trump issued a series of executive orders aimed at rooting out DEI.
- 2:09:52SPEAKER_42: But Target also knew that it was not going to help them sell products and it wasn't helping them sell products.
- 2:09:58SPEAKER_42: They jumped onto the DEI bandwagon and craze, just like so many other corporations and especially retailers did, because they thought that's where the money was going to be.
- 2:10:08SPEAKER_42: They thought that the progressive woke ideology was grabbing hold here in the United States of America, and then that was going to be enough to bring about an increase in sales of their products if they too went and hopped on board with these initiatives.
- 2:10:21SPEAKER_42: Also, don't forget that they were encouraged to do so by the federal government under then President Joe Biden and whoever was running the show at the time for the individual who was cognitively declining every single day that he was in office.
- 2:10:37SPEAKER_42: There was pressure coming from the administration for these corporations to adopt these uh discriminatory DEI practices.
- 2:10:47SPEAKER_42: President Donald Trump just gave the ability of these incredibly expensive DEI practices to be removed from corporations because that's the other part about it.
- 2:10:56SPEAKER_42: This was a racket.
- 2:10:58SPEAKER_42: This was bringing in money.
- 2:10:59SPEAKER_42: It was a grift from the race baiters in the country who are encouraging the administration and thus putting pressure on the businesses to adopt these ridiculous DEI initiatives.
- 2:11:09SPEAKER_42: And they would bring in DEI experts.
- 2:11:11SPEAKER_42: They would create whole new uh whole new jobs just for DEI individuals, making bank off of this.
- 2:11:20SPEAKER_42: In the midst of women, we're still dealing with an economic downturn because of because of COVID.
- 2:11:28SPEAKER_42: 612-584-4565.
- 2:11:31SPEAKER_42: 612-584-4565.
- 2:11:33SPEAKER_42: If you want to leave a uh blast on the show this morning, I would like to get your thoughts on uh the uh costume.
- 2:11:39SPEAKER_42: And as a matter of fact, let's go back to the blaster line and see what you have to say.
- 2:11:43SPEAKER_25: Hey John, I looked at the costume online, I don't get it either.
- 2:11:46SPEAKER_25: And I think this is a good example of how not racist we really are as a society that made it all the way through, like you said, all the meetings and the R and D, etc., and nobody thought it was racist because it Isn't we have to manufacture race, race issues in this country, and that's a fact.
- 2:12:06SPEAKER_25: Have a good day.
- 2:12:07SPEAKER_42: Yeah, and I want again, and I wanna I want to make sure that I repeat.
- 2:12:11SPEAKER_42: I don't have a problem with Target pulling the costume.
- 2:12:14SPEAKER_42: I get it.
- 2:12:14SPEAKER_42: They don't want the controversy around it if people happen to think it's racist, but I also don't have a problem with them pulling the costume because it's a dumb costume.
- 2:12:20SPEAKER_42: I don't know why.
- 2:12:21SPEAKER_42: No kid is looking at that going, I want to be that.
- 2:12:24SPEAKER_42: That's what I want.
- 2:12:24SPEAKER_42: I want to be that costume.
- 2:12:26SPEAKER_42: No, that would be a parent buying it for their kid.
- 2:12:29SPEAKER_42: And I question their parenting skills if that was the case.
- 2:12:31SPEAKER_42: Not because it's necessarily racist.
- 2:12:34SPEAKER_25: Um, if there's a whole target thing, in my view, I believe racism has to be intentional.
- 2:12:42SPEAKER_25: So these people that are claiming that their costume is racist, they have to prove where Target had the intent of offending black people with their costume.
- 2:12:52SPEAKER_25: Otherwise, they can just shut the hell up.
- 2:12:55SPEAKER_25: Because I can say whatever the F I want is racist.
- 2:12:59SPEAKER_25: Them thinking that costume is racist, is racist against white people.
- 2:13:02SPEAKER_25: It's like everything's racist and everything's not racist.
- 2:13:06SPEAKER_25: You have to prove intent.
- 2:13:08SPEAKER_42: And Victor, thank you for keeping it clean on the blaster line.
- 2:13:11SPEAKER_42: I do greatly, uh, I do greatly uh appreciate that.
- 2:13:14SPEAKER_42: You do bring up a good, a good point.
- 2:13:17SPEAKER_42: They will have you.
- 2:13:19SPEAKER_42: Those that are complaining about this are the individuals that believe that there are and there is systemic racism here.
- 2:13:25SPEAKER_42: And so they would point to something like that and say, this is proof in their minds of that systemic racism here in the United States.
- 2:13:33SPEAKER_42: Because look, somebody somewhere decided to create this racist Jim Crow minstrel style costume, and it actually ended up getting out to the retailer, and nobody caught it.
- 2:13:45SPEAKER_42: You see, that's all it's all it's all a part of how systemically racist this country is.
- 2:13:52SPEAKER_42: There's commentary.
- 2:13:52SPEAKER_42: I mean, I was that's not even like coming from my head, that's commentary that I saw this morning.
- 2:13:58SPEAKER_25: So we looked at Target and the press release basically, which drew attention to it.
- 2:14:04SPEAKER_25: And like you said, nobody would have paid attention to it.
- 2:14:07SPEAKER_25: It's kind of like Jacob Fry paying attention to the lane guy and making the thing worse than it is.
- 2:14:16SPEAKER_25: That's kind of what the Democrats do on every step is that's their political strategy.
- 2:14:21SPEAKER_25: And I think you're releasing that and letting it become obvious.
- 2:14:25SPEAKER_42: Yeah, and to that point, we're actually going to give you an update on uh that riot that broke out uh downtown uh involving now the infamous Minneapolis Spider-Man, which has become a thing, and that was an easy one to predict.
- 2:14:38SPEAKER_42: The moment that I saw the imagery of a dude dressed as Spider-Man going and attacking Jank, uh Jake Lang, I knew, oh, well, the left got another icon.
- 2:14:47SPEAKER_42: They can add this alongside of their Star Wars Rebellion Loon logo.
- 2:14:54SPEAKER_42: Before we get to that, though, let's get back to a few more of your thoughts from the blaster line this morning.
- 2:14:57SPEAKER_42: It's 612-584-4565 here on the John Justice Show.
- 2:15:02SPEAKER_25: Morning, John.
- 2:15:03SPEAKER_25: Uh, as a guy who has a uh son that does some uh target, the uh company that does that work is very deliberate about those costumes and who's wearing them.
- 2:15:16SPEAKER_25: You have to do these audition things where they're coming up with the the triple kids that are gonna wear what costume is very, very, very deliberate.
- 2:15:27SPEAKER_25: My guess is that they actually were trying to be proactive in avoiding these problems, and ironically, of course, they stepped in it.
- 2:15:34SPEAKER_25: But that's all because there's people that are hypersensitive.
- 2:15:36SPEAKER_25: Yeah.
- 2:15:37SPEAKER_42: Uh one more uh one more thought on this.
- 2:15:40SPEAKER_42: Let's go uh here to another friend of the show.
- 2:15:44SPEAKER_14: Hey, John.
- 2:15:46SPEAKER_14: The custom doesn't look offensive, it just looks stupid.
- 2:15:50SPEAKER_14: Who would want their kid wearing that?
- 2:15:52SPEAKER_42: Yeah, no.
- 2:15:55SPEAKER_42: Thank you, Lou.
- 2:15:56SPEAKER_42: Always good to uh to hear from you.
- 2:15:59SPEAKER_42: That's right.
- 2:16:00SPEAKER_42: I think Lou said it best.
- 2:16:04SPEAKER_42: Authorities identified the Minneapolis Spider-Man, who's now been arrested for assault at the Jake Lang rally.
- 2:16:13SPEAKER_42: So within hours, the easiest prediction that I could have personally made ended up coming true.
- 2:16:22SPEAKER_42: So um the media began to cov to cover the Spider-Man guy, actually giving him the label, the Minneapolis Spider-Man.
- 2:16:32SPEAKER_42: They even included the hyphen between Spider and Man, right?
- 2:16:35SPEAKER_42: I know.
- 2:16:35SPEAKER_42: That's how far that they were going.
- 2:16:37SPEAKER_42: So, and the media is framing this as, not in so many words, but this is my takeaway.
- 2:16:41SPEAKER_42: They're framing it as Spider-Man versus a Nazi.
- 2:16:45SPEAKER_42: That's that's the claim that they're making here when it comes to Jake uh to Jake Lang.
- 2:16:49SPEAKER_42: Listen, I'm not a Jake Lang fan by any stretch of the imagination.
- 2:16:52SPEAKER_42: As a matter of fact, somebody made a comment uh yesterday that I thought was rather interesting where they said, I wonder if he's still paid for by the uh Southern Poverty Law Center, considering the number of controversies that this guy has been embroiled in, how he likes to make a name for himself.
- 2:17:06SPEAKER_42: I think he just got arrested in Dearborn, Michigan recently.
- 2:17:09SPEAKER_42: This is this guy's business.
- 2:17:11SPEAKER_42: This is his racket, this is his grift, is to go into cities with existing controversy and then go and make money off of it.
- 2:17:22SPEAKER_42: And he's not the only one to do it.
- 2:17:24SPEAKER_42: There are individuals who do that legitimately.
- 2:17:26SPEAKER_42: You look at a Nick Shirley, who I believe legitimately wants to go and call out the fraud.
- 2:17:30SPEAKER_42: But make no mistake, this is this is Nick Shirley's gig, but he's doing it in a genuine and authentic way.
- 2:17:36SPEAKER_42: With what Jake Lang is doing here, he's certainly not going and doing anything to help Republicans in any way, shape, or form.
- 2:17:43SPEAKER_42: In my opinion, he's actually going and making things worse.
- 2:17:46SPEAKER_42: So the predictions that I had yesterday, one, the media would be covering Spider-Man as if he was an actual superhero.
- 2:17:52SPEAKER_42: Okay.
- 2:17:53SPEAKER_42: Social media wanting the Spider-Man versus the Nazi imagery.
- 2:17:58SPEAKER_42: Oh, and they got it.
- 2:18:00SPEAKER_42: Somebody had made a comment regarding, you know, regarding this circumstance and how the left will go and gravitate towards it.
- 2:18:08SPEAKER_42: And I told them, I said, listen, this will probably end up being the plot of the next Spider-Man movie, or at a bare minimum, the plot of a comic book.
- 2:18:15SPEAKER_42: And sure enough, within an hour, I saw the image online of a comic book cover created with Antifa replacing the Spider-Man logo you would typically see on the cover of a Spider-Man comic book in exactly the same font with an artistically accurate, dramatized image of a comically correct Spider-Man versus Jake Lang.
- 2:18:41SPEAKER_42: Complete with the giant white cross that Jake Lang had on the streets of Minneapolis during the protest and riot that ensued in his grasp as Spider-Man was jumping to go and hammer down on him.
- 2:18:53SPEAKER_42: The left loves their imagery.
- 2:18:55SPEAKER_42: And why wouldn't they?
- 2:18:56SPEAKER_42: They don't have any policy to run on.
- 2:18:58SPEAKER_42: This is exactly what feeds the fascists in Antifa.
- 2:19:04SPEAKER_42: This is what motivates them.
- 2:19:06SPEAKER_42: This is exactly what they wanted, which is why I thought that comment alluding to the fact that Jake Lang may have been paid by the Southern Poverty Law Center to just perpetuate racism.
- 2:19:15SPEAKER_42: I don't necessarily think that's the case.
- 2:19:17SPEAKER_42: Jake Lang served a time in prison for his involvement in January 6th.
- 2:19:21SPEAKER_42: Since then, he's gotten out, he has decided not to go and just get a job like a normal, regular human being.
- 2:19:26SPEAKER_42: Now he's just decided to be an on-the-street provocateur touting conservative values and messaging, but really doing nothing of substance to help anything that he actually pretends to be going and supporting.
- 2:19:39SPEAKER_42: This was a completely, as I mentioned yesterday, unnecessary event that took place on the streets of Minneapolis.
- 2:19:47SPEAKER_42: It's a distraction.
- 2:19:48SPEAKER_42: It doesn't help conservative causes, if anything, it actually hurts conservative causes and helps the left go and bring in more lunatics like those that would get involved in Antifa and take to the streets wearing masks to get in altercations like this and then say that they're the ones fighting fascism when the reality is they're actually the fascists.
- 2:20:07SPEAKER_42: Nicholas William Love II, dressed as Spider-Man, was arrested for assault at the rally.
- 2:20:14SPEAKER_42: He was released on a misdemeanor assault to citation.
- 2:20:17SPEAKER_42: He claims he was protecting the crowd from a vehicle displaying a racist sign.
- 2:20:23SPEAKER_42: So is he protecting the crowd from the vehicle or was he protecting the crowd from the racist sign?
- 2:20:29SPEAKER_42: I don't know of anybody that's actually been harmed by a sign.
- 2:20:33SPEAKER_42: Like emotions and feelings, maybe, but like as a sign, like a has a sign just been sitting there and just ra just gonna attack somebody just randomly.
- 2:20:42SPEAKER_42: I don't think that's ever happened.
- 2:20:43SPEAKER_42: I could be wrong, though.
- 2:20:45SPEAKER_42: He's uh from Invergrove Heights, arrested and booked on assault while wearing the Spider-Man costume.
- 2:20:51SPEAKER_42: Love quickly rose, of course, to social media stardom, and he'll be a star now in his own right.
- 2:20:55SPEAKER_42: He'll be a darling of the he's already a darling of the radical leftists, right?
- 2:21:00SPEAKER_42: He quickly rose to social media stardom after appearing at Lang's far-right rally on Saturday.
- 2:21:05SPEAKER_42: At one point, the figure dressed as Spider-Man is seen jumping onto the back of a truck that was displaying a racist sign after the vehicle was driven onto the city sidewalk.
- 2:21:14SPEAKER_42: And this is where I think that Jake Lang did this intentionally, because the the point of contention from both law enforcement and the leftist real fascists that were protesting him was that he went and drove his vehicle up onto the sidewalk, and that was a bridge too far.
- 2:21:29SPEAKER_42: As a matter of fact, in one of the statements here, I think I have it.
- 2:21:32SPEAKER_42: Yeah, I pulled a bit of this from the Star Tribune this morning.
- 2:21:34SPEAKER_42: There was a news conference held last night outside of Minneapolis City Hall.
- 2:21:38SPEAKER_42: Some of the community organizers involved in the weekend's counter protests questioned the actions of the city police officers and how Lang's vehicle was able to actually go and drive on the sidewalk.
- 2:21:49SPEAKER_42: Emily Phillips of the radical leftist communist organization, Minnesota 5501, that said, How is this vehicle ever allowed to turn onto a barricade in a crowded sidewalk?
- 2:22:02SPEAKER_42: In the meantime, Love, of course, has gone along uh and launched a GoFundMe in the middle of all of this.
- 2:22:07SPEAKER_42: I'm asking for help after the violent incident in downtown uh Minneapolis, he wrote on his fundraising page.
- 2:22:15SPEAKER_42: That day, racist supremacists invaded our streets and threatened the peace of our community.
- 2:22:22SPEAKER_42: That's a ridiculous statement when you consider less than a dozen people had showed up to Jake Lang's protest.
- 2:22:32SPEAKER_42: And, you know, I think there's an argument to be made here.
- 2:22:35SPEAKER_42: Nobody will know for sure the the comparison I'm going to make and which one would actually be the reality.
- 2:22:41SPEAKER_42: But there's an argument to be made that the left could have carried or at least made hay out of not going and getting involved in this, considering less than a dozen people showed up for Lang's protest.
- 2:22:56SPEAKER_42: Imagine the visual of the media there with Lang with his white cross and his ridiculous offensive racist signs, and there's only less than a dozen people around.
- 2:23:09SPEAKER_42: Now, of course, they're not going to let that happen because it wouldn't play in to the left's narratives regarding the right.
- 2:23:18SPEAKER_42: That could have gone and potentially helped, and now that I think about it further, that image would have helped to diminish this idea and the narrative put forward by Democrats that the right is filled with a bunch of Nazi racists when you have an individual that the left considers to be a Nazi racist who is showing racist signs.
- 2:23:37SPEAKER_42: There's no doubt about that, is there on the streets for a protest and nobody goes and shows up.
- 2:23:41SPEAKER_42: So what do they do?
- 2:23:42SPEAKER_42: They make a stink about it.
- 2:23:44SPEAKER_42: They show up, they create the visual that Jake Lang was incapable of creating because he is in the minority of individuals on the right that go and act and do things like this.
- 2:23:57SPEAKER_42: Love went on to accuse police of being more interested in arresting him and roughing him up than addressing Lang and his provocateurs.
- 2:24:04SPEAKER_42: Give me a break already.
- 2:24:05SPEAKER_42: There are images out there of a Minneapolis police officer being punched in the face and pushed upon by the dude that was dressed as Spider-Man.
- 2:24:15SPEAKER_42: The image looks like it could have been lifted directly from the latest Spider-Man movie.
- 2:24:19SPEAKER_42: As a matter of fact, when I first saw it online, that's what I thought it was.
- 2:24:22SPEAKER_42: I thought it was a screen grab from the latest Tom Holland Spider-Man movie, and it wasn't.
- 2:24:28SPEAKER_42: It was a screen grab of a video of Spider-Man punching a law enforcement officer.
- 2:24:32SPEAKER_40: So yeah, I think he's probably going to get arrested for doing that.
- 2:24:38SPEAKER_42: He's also probably going to make a ton of money off of this, and he'll be like the resident hero.
- 2:24:43SPEAKER_42: And now you'll see the Spider-Man imagery along with the Star Wars Rebel Loon stupid imagery being adopted, and I'll probably see it on the bumper sticker of a car with the Antifa Spider-Man on my drive home in about a week's time.
- 2:24:58SPEAKER_42: I'll give it two weeks.
- 2:25:00SPEAKER_42: May take a little while to get that together.
- 2:25:02SPEAKER_42: If it's not already at the print shop.
- 2:25:04SPEAKER_42: I don't know.
- 2:25:04SPEAKER_42: Corey at the Minnesotan, how long would it take somebody to go and make up a t-shirt like that?
- 2:25:08SPEAKER_42: They could probably do it in a day.
- 2:25:09SPEAKER_42: Corey never would.
- 2:25:10SPEAKER_41: I'm just saying in general because he does that kind of stuff.
- 2:25:14SPEAKER_42: All right.
- 2:25:14SPEAKER_42: 612-584-4565.
- 2:25:17SPEAKER_42: Uh 612-584-4565.
- 2:25:21SPEAKER_42: Let's get to uh some of uh your thoughts uh this morning.
- 2:25:24SPEAKER_42: We do have a couple more thoughts that rolled in regarding the Halloween costume.
- 2:25:29SPEAKER_42: Um, I'm looking to see if anybody oh, here we go.
- 2:25:33SPEAKER_42: Let's go uh let's go here.
- 2:25:35SPEAKER_42: Looking for commentary on the most recent story that we're covering here on the show.
- 2:25:44SPEAKER_27: Good morning, guys.
- 2:25:45SPEAKER_27: Hey, this uh right-wing guy or whatever in Minneapolis.
- 2:25:50SPEAKER_27: I mean, he's got his first memories, that's right.
- 2:25:53SPEAKER_27: I don't think he's doing conservative in any kind of favor.
- 2:25:56SPEAKER_27: It almost makes me wonder whose funding that's trying to go out there and make us look bad?
- 2:26:01SPEAKER_27: Something like U SLPC or anything like that.
- 2:26:04SPEAKER_27: I don't know if he's truly a conservative or just a plant of the left to make us look bad.
- 2:26:08SPEAKER_42: I I don't think that he's a plant on the left.
- 2:26:11SPEAKER_42: I think that this is just what he's this is how he's found to make money.
- 2:26:15SPEAKER_42: If you've got your social media, you would be surprised.
- 2:26:18SPEAKER_42: If you have your social media monetized and you're able to get even a halfway decent following, you can make a significant amount of money.
- 2:26:27SPEAKER_42: And this guy has a following.
- 2:26:30SPEAKER_42: He does, like it or not, he's got a huge following.
- 2:26:33SPEAKER_42: So he's probably making a lot of money, and he makes more money when he gets arrested.
- 2:26:36SPEAKER_42: He's probably got no problem sitting in jail.
- 2:26:38SPEAKER_42: I think he still is in jail.
- 2:26:40SPEAKER_42: He's probably got no problem sitting in jail right now.
- 2:26:42SPEAKER_42: The more time that he spends in jail, the more money he's probably going to get.
- 2:26:46SPEAKER_42: And this is the same on both sides here.
- 2:26:49SPEAKER_42: You know, the majority of these ridiculous fascist antifa guys, they're making money as well.
- 2:26:55SPEAKER_42: I've seen interviews done with prominent leftist uh activists, disheveled dudes in desperate need of a shower, like lavish Mac, who's run for office perpetually in the city of Minneapolis, talking with other leftist antifa fascist podcasters where they're going back and forth talking about how much money they were paid to go out and protest.
- 2:27:17SPEAKER_42: This is an incredibly lucrative racket to be involved in this type of controversy.
- 2:27:22SPEAKER_42: So both Jake Lang and the individuals who fought Jake Lang are gonna make a ton of money off of this through GoFundMe Fundraising and through their social media accounts.
- 2:27:32SPEAKER_42: They both win financially while the whole cause of politics and conservatism suffers under the weight of their stupid actions.
- 2:27:44SPEAKER_25: So, John, since we're gonna go with like comic characters, I think Jacob Fry would be a great joker.
- 2:27:52SPEAKER_25: I mean, just put the makeup on.
- 2:27:53SPEAKER_25: He's already got the hairdo going and like the baby man jeans, but and then uh we need to turn on the Batman light and see if we can call Batman a whole lot.
- 2:28:04SPEAKER_42: No, I don't want to, I you know what?
- 2:28:05SPEAKER_42: I do not want to disparage the Joker character by attaching him to Jacob Frye.
- 2:28:11SPEAKER_42: Listen, Jacob Fry can be smart on some issues, but he's too much of a man baby to ever be the Joker.
- 2:28:18SPEAKER_42: No, he would be, listen, he would be the character that has already been created for him.
- 2:28:21SPEAKER_42: He would be Minneapolis man, baby, mare, mom jeans.
- 2:28:24SPEAKER_42: You put him in mom jeans, you'd have him whining all the time, talking about how all those businesses are coming back to Minnesota or to Minneapolis.
- 2:28:32SPEAKER_42: There's all these videos out there right now of him doing PR campaigns.
- 2:28:36SPEAKER_42: There are always close-up shots of Jacob Fry next to some business that's opening up because they probably got some ridiculous incentive from the communists on the Minneapolis City Council encouraging them to go and open.
- 2:28:48SPEAKER_42: And so they figured, well, we can make a few bucks through the incentives that they gave us to open this up, even though we're probably not going to last very long.
- 2:28:55SPEAKER_42: But maybe it'll be worth it for a while so we can make a little bit of money before we start losing it.
- 2:29:00SPEAKER_42: They never pan out from those shots of Minneapolis, man, baby me or mom jeans, Jacob Fry, because if you pan out too far, you end up seeing the crime, the homelessness, which we'll talk about here in uh just a moment.
- 2:29:12SPEAKER_42: The smashed vehicle window numbers have gone up since we reported it yesterday.
- 2:29:16SPEAKER_42: Not to mention what's been happening with this encampment behind uh these incredibly expensive apartment complexes.
- 2:29:24SPEAKER_42: They have generators that they've heard over in these this new encampment after the pig's eye encampment was closed down.
- 2:29:30SPEAKER_42: They think they're building actual infrastructure in the woods behind this apartment complex.
- 2:29:36SPEAKER_42: So we'll give you the details on that coming up in uh in just a moment.
- 2:29:38SPEAKER_42: But let's not uh disparage the Joker by going and uh making a Jacob Fry that.
- 2:29:43SPEAKER_42: That's too cool of a cool of a character.
- 2:29:45SPEAKER_42: I mean, the Joker's a bad guy, but he's a pretty cool character.
- 2:29:49SPEAKER_42: All right, let's go here.
- 2:29:52SPEAKER_42: Pre-crime at the state fair.
- 2:29:55SPEAKER_42: So, hat tip to uh friend of the show and policy fellow Bill Glon.
- 2:30:00SPEAKER_42: I struggled a bit yesterday to articulate my thoughts on this Muddy versus the Ville lawsuit to keep them from fighting each other on Saturday at the Minnesota State Fair.
- 2:30:14SPEAKER_42: Um, Bill, however, nailed it though, in his piece that's available right now at AmericaneExperiment.org.
- 2:30:21SPEAKER_42: State Attorney General Thief Ellison put out a press release last week.
- 2:30:25SPEAKER_42: I said thief, not Bill, by the way.
- 2:30:28SPEAKER_42: Attorney General Keith Ellison, Ramsey County attorney uh Chow, win are win agreements and injunctions to prevent gang violence at the state fair.
- 2:30:39SPEAKER_42: Now, the backstory for those that are just getting caught up, a few alleged members of a Somali street gang allegedly put up posts on social media encouraging a rumble at the state fair.
- 2:30:51SPEAKER_42: I haven't heard that in a long time.
- 2:30:53SPEAKER_42: Rumble always reminds me of like happy days.
- 2:30:55SPEAKER_42: We're gonna get into a rumble.
- 2:30:58SPEAKER_42: Fighting at the state fair or just about anywhere else would be a crime, by the way.
- 2:31:02SPEAKER_42: Rather than wait around for the crime to occur before acting, two of the state's top-ranking prosecutors responded with civil lawsuits to prevent this occurrence in an act of pre-crime.
- 2:31:12SPEAKER_42: Rather than charging the individuals with crime incitement to violence, the state went the civil route, where the burden of proof is much lower.
- 2:31:20SPEAKER_42: And the defendants have fewer rights in the courtroom.
- 2:31:23SPEAKER_42: In A.
- 2:31:23SPEAKER_42: G.
- 2:31:24SPEAKER_42: Ellison and RCA is Ramsey County attorney, uh, Choi's August 5th civil lawsuits against the two gangs.
- 2:31:31SPEAKER_42: Seven out of the ten people named in the lawsuits agree not to attend the fair or be present in the safety zone around the fair.
- 2:31:40SPEAKER_42: Ramsey County District Court finds the three others are gang members and prohibits them from associating with gang members at the fair or attempting to provoke violence there.
- 2:31:50SPEAKER_42: This is according to Attorney General Thief Ellison's statement on the matter.
- 2:31:54SPEAKER_42: So Bill Gallong goes on to say so Ellison negotiated with members of the alleged violent street gangs and reached an agreement.
- 2:32:03SPEAKER_42: Seven of them won't attend the fair in exchange for what exactly?
- 2:32:07SPEAKER_42: And the other three can still go to the fair, get their funnel cakes, get their pronto pups, but cannot provoke violence, which again is already a criminal act, or freely associate with their fellows, which also violates their First Amendment rights.
- 2:32:24SPEAKER_42: I mean, that's assuming the gang members actually know how to read.
- 2:32:26SPEAKER_42: I don't know if they were educated here in Minnesota.
- 2:32:28SPEAKER_42: That's a big question, Mark.
- 2:32:29SPEAKER_42: 50-50 shot on that one.
- 2:32:31SPEAKER_42: I understand that one of the three subjected to the court order never bothered to respond to the lawsuit or showed up for the hearing rights, Bill Glon.
- 2:32:39SPEAKER_42: That was perhaps the most reasonable response to this farce.
- 2:32:43SPEAKER_42: The other nine hired lawyers at their own expense and fought the pre-crime lawsuit in court.
- 2:32:52SPEAKER_42: So this is where I was struggling yesterday, and Bill Glon nails what I was feeling and why I was conflicted about the story.
- 2:32:59SPEAKER_42: Somehow, Ellison and Choi managed to look both heavy-handed and weak-willed at the same time, using the full force of the state to prevent citizens from exercising their constitutional rights and negotiating with street gangs as peers.
- 2:33:20SPEAKER_42: That's what I was going for yesterday.
- 2:33:24SPEAKER_42: That's why I was so I was like, I was so, this is so weird.
- 2:33:27SPEAKER_42: Why are we handling this this way?
- 2:33:29SPEAKER_42: And I had asked the question whether or not there was a better way to go and deal with it.
- 2:33:33SPEAKER_42: But this is the reason why.
- 2:33:36SPEAKER_42: They were both heavy-handed and weak-willed.
- 2:33:38SPEAKER_42: The state fair is a corporate entity owned by the state government.
- 2:33:42SPEAKER_42: Why not just ban the gentleman from the event and force them to sue?
- 2:33:48SPEAKER_42: We were told early on when this whole controversy erupted in the first place, we were told that we knew that the authorities knew who these individuals were.
- 2:34:00SPEAKER_42: That they knew what they looked like so they could identify them.
- 2:34:03SPEAKER_42: So Bill Glaun hits the nail on the head.
- 2:34:05SPEAKER_42: He is absolutely right.
- 2:34:08SPEAKER_42: Being that the state fair is a corporate owned entity owned by the state government, you could just ban those individuals from coming in, just making sure that everybody knows what they look like and then force them to have to go and spend their money to sue the state.
- 2:34:20SPEAKER_42: But no, instead, we ended up wasting taxpayer dollars by negotiating with these idiots.
- 2:34:27SPEAKER_42: These are your taxpayer dollars at work, people.
- 2:34:31SPEAKER_42: So thank you to Bill Glon.
- 2:34:33SPEAKER_42: I would encourage everybody to head on over and uh check out that article uh for yourself.
- 2:34:37SPEAKER_42: One more uh comment on the state fair.
- 2:34:39SPEAKER_42: Uh Sheriff Fletcher uh being interviewed uh by local news uh talked a little bit about his uh his view of what's been taking place uh when it comes to threats of violence at the Minnesota State Fair.
- 2:34:51SPEAKER_42: Here's what he had to say.
- 2:34:52SPEAKER_33: We've had gangs coming to the Minnesota State Fair for 30, 40 years.
- 2:34:57SPEAKER_33: Um, but they've always agreed the fair is neutral ground, and let's all go have fun and respect the fair grounds.
- 2:35:04SPEAKER_33: I've been here for many, many years, but we've never had threats of violence like we're having from the Somali gangs.
- 2:35:11SPEAKER_33: Well, we we will have Karin gangs, we'll have some Hmong gangs here, we'll have some uh you know extremists on the right here, but none of them are promising chaos except for the Somali gangs.
- 2:35:23SPEAKER_42: And again, sheriff Bob uh Fletcher and his thoughts on uh the uh the gangs at the Minnesota State Fair.
- 2:35:30SPEAKER_42: Coming up, a smash of vehicle window numbers keep rising in Minneapolis.
- 2:35:34SPEAKER_42: And the Minneapolis City Council is is going to be uh hearing listening sessions for a new police chief.
- 2:35:41SPEAKER_41: Oh my.
- 2:35:43SPEAKER_41: Who is gonna want that job?
- 2:35:45SPEAKER_42: They should hire Spider-Man.
- 2:35:48SPEAKER_42: He's the perfect candidate to be police chief.
- 2:35:52SPEAKER_42: Give that guy love.
- 2:35:54SPEAKER_42: Give him the gig.
- 2:35:55SPEAKER_42: All right, so we'll get to that.
- 2:35:57SPEAKER_42: Also, we're gonna be talking with uh Representative Tom Emmer in just a few minutes here on the John Justice show, presented by American Experiment.
- 2:36:03SPEAKER_10: And now here's commentary on the latest issues facing Minnesotans from the hosts, policy fellows, and guests of American Experiment.
- 2:36:11SPEAKER_10: For more content, head on over to the center of the American Experiments YouTube page or at AmericaneExperiment.org.
- 2:36:19SPEAKER_43: And there were posts circulating on social media from members of these gangs saying that basically they were going to continue that line of violence at the state fair this year.
- 2:36:27SPEAKER_43: And thank God, you know, law enforcement perked their ears up.
- 2:36:31SPEAKER_43: And so now officials in Ramsey County are working with the Minnesota Attorney General's office to look at using a a very, very rarely used law or excuse me, state statute called the Minnesota Civil Gang Nuisance Law to try and prevent that violence from happening.
- 2:36:46SPEAKER_43: The law would allow officials to sue gang members and prevent them from associating, intimidating, annoying, provoking, or threatening others in and around the state fairgrounds between August 27th and September 8th, 2026.
- 2:37:00SPEAKER_43: So they're asking basically a judge to issue an injunction and allow them to use this statute.
- 2:37:07SPEAKER_43: If the injunction is issued, they would have the legal authority to proactively detain gang members listed in the suit who violate certain conditions, such as associating with one another at the fair.
- 2:37:19SPEAKER_43: And this is brilliant because otherwise law enforcement is only able to do something after a crime has taken place.
- 2:37:24SPEAKER_43: This is something they could do on the front end to prevent it from ever happening.
- 2:37:28SPEAKER_42: It's John Justice, and you've probably gone through the yo-yo dieting.
- 2:37:32SPEAKER_42: That was the case for me, but not anymore.
- 2:37:34SPEAKER_42: You lose a few pounds, it all comes back, and more.
- 2:37:37SPEAKER_42: You lose a few pounds, and it all comes back, and even more.
- 2:37:40SPEAKER_42: If that's been your life, NeutroWave was built for you.
- 2:37:43SPEAKER_42: It certainly was for me.
- 2:37:44SPEAKER_42: I've lost over 25 pounds on this amazing program.
- 2:37:47SPEAKER_42: Neutrawave turns on the fat burning, reignites your energy, and it's all natural.
- 2:37:52SPEAKER_42: There's no pills, there's no shots, there's no excuses.
- 2:37:55SPEAKER_42: It actually helps you change your relationship with food just through the process of the program.
- 2:38:01SPEAKER_42: 31,000 people across the Metro have tried everything else, and Neutrowave is where they got their life back.
- 2:38:07SPEAKER_42: And Neutrawave is accepting a limited number of new people.
- 2:38:11SPEAKER_42: So call and mention the word strike, and you get a$272 value truth metabolic scan and a red light therapy session.
- 2:38:20SPEAKER_42: I've done it.
- 2:38:21SPEAKER_42: It's incredibly effective.
- 2:38:22SPEAKER_42: Nothing to lose and everything to gain, but you're gonna lose the weight and you're not gonna put it back on.
- 2:38:27SPEAKER_42: Individual results may vary.

- 2:38:42SPEAKER_42: Results may vary.
- 2:38:43SPEAKER_42: Neutrawave is not a medical treatment.
- 2:38:44SPEAKER_42: Consult your physician before starting any weight loss program.
- 2:38:47SPEAKER_37: Support the John Justice Show.

- 2:38:50SPEAKER_37: Competitive rates for both personal endorsements and standard ads are available.
- 2:38:55SPEAKER_37: For more details, email John.justice at American Experiment.org.
- 2:39:00SPEAKER_04: It's baffling how you can get to the conclusion that no, actually, the more people that are dependent so desperate and in such a hard situation that they need the state government, the more people in that situation is a good thing.
- 2:39:14SPEAKER_43: Right.
- 2:39:14SPEAKER_43: Well, not only is it ideologically unwise, in my opinion, to be trending that way, but our budget can't handle it.
- 2:39:20SPEAKER_43: This is a completely unsustainable path that we are on, even with how much our spending has already grown.
- 2:39:26SPEAKER_43: It's still growing on this area of welfare programs.
- 2:39:29SPEAKER_43: And that's where you get back to this idea of a ticking time bomb.
- 2:39:31SPEAKER_43: Think about it.
- 2:39:32SPEAKER_38: A famous politician once said, you're entitled to your opinion, but you are not entitled to your own facts.
- 2:39:38SPEAKER_38: But in a world full of AI and fake news, where can Minnesotans find the facts?
- 2:39:43SPEAKER_38: Center of the American Experiment is Minnesota's go-to source for fact-based analysis and common sense solutions for taxes, energy, public safety, and our kids' education.
- 2:39:54SPEAKER_38: Visit AmericanExperiment.org for more information.
- 2:39:57SPEAKER_38: Think about it is brought to you by Center of the American Experiment, Minnesota's think tank.
- 2:40:02SPEAKER_42: We're awaiting uh Representative Tom Emmer to uh join the show.
- 2:40:05SPEAKER_42: Looking forward to talking on a number of issues uh with uh Representative uh Emmer, including uh Governor Jim Walls and his executive order uh banning mining up in the boundary waters, the s ruling from the Supreme Court regarding election integrity and mail in uh uh in ballots as well.
- 2:40:24SPEAKER_42: So we'll talk with uh Tom uh about those issues and more when he joins us here in uh just a moment.
- 2:40:29SPEAKER_42: Talking about that relating to downtown Minneapolis, they're continuing to investigate the surge in vehicle window vandalism.
- 2:40:38SPEAKER_42: Now we're past 87 windows smashed in a recent spree.
- 2:40:43SPEAKER_42: The incidents involving groups of teens or masked uh individuals or a masked individual.
- 2:40:49SPEAKER_42: Again, has anybody seen Spider-Man?
- 2:40:51SPEAKER_42: Left uh residents concerned about safety and financial losses.
- 2:40:54SPEAKER_42: The police are strengthening their response, uh, updating protocols and urging the public to report suspicious activity and provide any available uh footage.
- 2:41:02SPEAKER_42: Here's a bit of uh social media commentary from uh Channel 5 on that on this issue.
- 2:41:08SPEAKER_05: We're still following a string of car break-ins in northeast Minneapolis.
- 2:41:13SPEAKER_05: This was overnight here.
- 2:41:15SPEAKER_05: You can see right next to Diane's place, one of the hottest restaurants in town, more car break-ins.
- 2:41:21SPEAKER_05: The past few days we've seen close to over a hundred of these.
- 2:41:24SPEAKER_05: We're still working to hear exact numbers from MPD, but the problem still appears to be happening in northeast Minneapolis.
- 2:41:33SPEAKER_42: Listen, um, this is completely senseless.
- 2:41:39SPEAKER_42: Uh the criminals need to be caught, obviously, right?
- 2:41:42SPEAKER_42: Probably the most obvious thing that I could say, but they need to be caught, and then I I want to know, I would like to know why.
- 2:41:48SPEAKER_42: I mean, why are they doing this?
- 2:41:50SPEAKER_42: I mean, is it just because they can?
- 2:41:53SPEAKER_42: As we reported yesterday on the story, it doesn't look like anything's being stolen out of these vehicles.
- 2:42:00SPEAKER_42: Kevin Tran works in northeast Minneapolis.
- 2:42:03SPEAKER_42: He says, I feel like I see a car or two a day, honestly.
- 2:42:07SPEAKER_42: It's bad.
- 2:42:08SPEAKER_42: Addie Thomas, who lives in the area, said she pays 150 bucks a month for parking in part because of the break-ins.
- 2:42:17SPEAKER_42: You know, you know what I you know what I don't want to end up seeing?
- 2:42:21SPEAKER_42: I have no evidence of this, but just what I don't want to end up seeing is how this is actually being promoted by entities like parking services or window repair companies, right?
- 2:42:33SPEAKER_42: I have no evidence of that, but that's what I don't want to see.
- 2:42:35SPEAKER_42: When you look at all the fraud here in Minnesota and you actually begin to question just how many different social programs wherein Medicaid dollars are attached, are there any programs that don't include fraud?
- 2:42:49SPEAKER_42: When you look at the theft of the copper wires from the lamps, just to give you a few examples.
- 2:42:56SPEAKER_42: I mean, people fight when you look at the catalytic converter thefts, it wouldn't be that much of a stretch to see that this was a coordinated effort by different money-making entities that where it could be advantageous for car windows to be destroyed without having anything stolen to keep the charges down, were the individual to get caught to go and benefit these particular companies.
- 2:43:18SPEAKER_42: Again, I have no evidence of that.
- 2:43:19SPEAKER_42: I just in the off chance that it turns out to be true.
- 2:43:22SPEAKER_42: I don't know what's worse.
- 2:43:23SPEAKER_42: That or just an individual out there who's simply going and causing all of this mayhem with no motivation whatsoever, other than the fact of what I mentioned and that they can.
- 2:43:34SPEAKER_42: Addie Thomas says, Yeah, I feel like paying for parking for multiple reasons in Minneapolis, and who would have thought cars getting broken into would be is now one of those reasons.
- 2:43:46SPEAKER_42: Minneapolis police said some descriptions point to a group of teens, while others describe one masked individual.
- 2:43:54SPEAKER_42: Where's No Mark, by the way?
- 2:43:55SPEAKER_42: Did you hear about No Mark?
- 2:43:57SPEAKER_42: No Mark was apparently the Minneapolis superhero.
- 2:44:00SPEAKER_42: He was posting anonymously up on social media accounts.
- 2:44:03SPEAKER_42: He has a full get up and he's out there apparently fighting crime.
- 2:44:06SPEAKER_42: I haven't seen much of my well, the algorithm hasn't been feeding me anything from uh No Mark.
- 2:44:12SPEAKER_42: So I didn't see him in any of the footage of the Jake Lang protest, and I'm just wondering why he's not doing anything about this.
- 2:44:20SPEAKER_42: Nate Smith, whose sister's car window was broken on Saturday, said he is less focused on who is doing it and more focused on why it keeps happening.
- 2:44:29SPEAKER_42: These guys are just breaking the windows just to break the windows, Smith said.
- 2:44:33SPEAKER_42: They're not even digging around.
- 2:44:34SPEAKER_42: They're not even touching the stuff inside, which is crazy, which again goes back to what I had mentioned a moment ago.
- 2:44:40SPEAKER_42: And that is who exactly is going to who exactly is doing this and what is their motivation for it.
- 2:44:46SPEAKER_42: Uh the Minneapolis police did share a lengthy statement.
- 2:44:49SPEAKER_42: I won't read all of it to you.
- 2:44:50SPEAKER_42: I just want to kind of give you the uh give you the highlights.
- 2:44:56SPEAKER_42: But they said investigators are actively pursuing leads and reviewing surveillance video, witness information, suspect and vehicle descriptions, and other available evidence to identify those responsible and determine whether the suspects are connected to multiple incidents.
- 2:45:11SPEAKER_42: If you discover that your vehicle has been damaged or broken into after the suspects have left, please report the incident to 911 or 311 at the Minneapolis police precinct or through the city's online reporting system.
- 2:45:22SPEAKER_42: I I'm a little bit surprised that we haven't seen um have we haven't seen the individuals caught when you consider the number of just whether it's cameras, ring doorbell cameras, just how so much of our society is being recorded on a daily basis that we usually catch everything on film.
- 2:45:42SPEAKER_42: Now the footage on this stuff is usually really grainy.
- 2:45:44SPEAKER_42: So if the law enforcement does have footage, the individuals might be going and covering up their faces, just like what happened with Leslie Larson up in up in uh Blaine.
- 2:45:53SPEAKER_42: But again, I'm a little bit um curious as to uh why we haven't gotten further on capturing these individuals.
- 2:46:03SPEAKER_42: Let's get to a few of your thoughts from the blaster line at 612-584-4565.
- 2:46:08SPEAKER_19: Bill Glaun's person, the word pre-crime is a reference to the movie The Minority Report.
- 2:46:14SPEAKER_19: Oh, yeah.
- 2:46:15SPEAKER_19: Not quite accurate.
- 2:46:16SPEAKER_19: And pre-crime in that movie, they knew ahead of time for sure that the person would have committed a crime.
- 2:46:22SPEAKER_42: Yes, that's true.
- 2:46:23SPEAKER_42: But I still appreciate Bill Glaun and his uh his reference to to pre-crime uh pre-crime, even though in the movie Minority Report they were pre-cri Hogs, I can see the future.
- 2:46:32SPEAKER_42: The terminology terminology still fits, though.
- 2:46:34SPEAKER_42: Absolutely.
- 2:46:36SPEAKER_42: All right, let's go uh let's go here.
- 2:46:38SPEAKER_42: Thank you for the call, Bob, though.
- 2:46:39SPEAKER_42: I appreciate it.
- 2:46:40SPEAKER_42: Good to hear from you.
- 2:46:43SPEAKER_21: You were just talking a few minutes ago.
- 2:46:50SPEAKER_21: At that point.
- 2:46:53SPEAKER_21: The show went dead on my phone for a good solid music.
- 2:46:58SPEAKER_21: And then when you when you came back, when the audio came back.
- 2:47:02SPEAKER_21: Um you were already done.
- 2:47:04SPEAKER_42: Oh, I'm I'm sorry that you that you uh had difficulty uh with the uh with the show.
- 2:47:09SPEAKER_42: Apparently, Tom Emmer is having difficulty uh connecting with the show uh currently.
- 2:47:13SPEAKER_42: So I'm trying to go and uh and remedy that as well.
- 2:47:16SPEAKER_42: So um with the online nature, sometimes that's gonna happen when it comes to um how we're streaming the show.
- 2:47:23SPEAKER_42: So my apologies uh for that.
- 2:47:25SPEAKER_42: All right.
- 2:47:25SPEAKER_42: We'll get to more of your thoughts here in uh just a moment.
- 2:47:28SPEAKER_42: I want to try to get Tom Emmer um on uh the show here.
- 2:47:32SPEAKER_42: I'm gonna help them out.
- 2:47:33SPEAKER_42: Uh in the meantime, just hear this quick um promotion for the fall briefing coming up with a Byron York, a courtesy of Center of the American Experiment podcast host, and they have a brand new episode this week, uh, Grace Keating here on Center of the American Experiment.
- 2:47:47SPEAKER_43: Join Center of the American Experiment on Saturday, September 19th for our 2026 fall briefing featuring Byron York.
- 2:47:53SPEAKER_43: Byron York is the chief political correspondent for the Washington Examiner, but you probably know him from his frequent appearances on Fox News.
- 2:48:00SPEAKER_43: York will give us an update on the race to control the U.S.
- 2:48:03SPEAKER_43: House and Senate, and will show how Minnesota fits into the 2026 electoral map.
- 2:48:08SPEAKER_43: Will President Trump beat the odds and grow his power in Congress?
- 2:48:12SPEAKER_43: Or will Democrats take over and throw Washington into gridlock?
- 2:48:15SPEAKER_43: Join us at the beautiful winery at Sovereign Estate to hear York's timely message.
- 2:48:20SPEAKER_43: Plus, enjoy great views, conversation, and food and drink.

- 2:48:31SPEAKER_43: That's AmericaneExperiment.org slash events.
- 2:48:35SPEAKER_42: And it's a John Justice show presented by American Experiment.
- 2:48:39SPEAKER_42: I'm glad you're with us uh this morning.
- 2:48:41SPEAKER_42: As we close in on the end of the show today, we had a couple of comments that rolled in late regarding the Target clown uh costume that I wanted to uh share with you.
- 2:48:54SPEAKER_25: Yeah, what Ken is dressing up like a clown anymore.
- 2:48:57SPEAKER_25: Like I think if you see a kid dressed up as a clown, uh it's because her parents dressed him up like that because they clown would be cute.
- 2:49:06SPEAKER_42: Probably, but this was not even a this wasn't even a good looking clown costume by any stretch whatsoever.
- 2:49:17SPEAKER_25: What we need is a celebrity death match between Hank Lang in the racist target clown costume versus uh guys remember going to the Spider-Man costume.
- 2:49:32SPEAKER_14: And if the clown wins, everybody gets to say the N word again.
- 2:49:38SPEAKER_14: No, if Spider-Man wins, then Target goes back to selling grand kids.
- 2:49:44SPEAKER_42: No, that's a that's a Joe, that's a horrible idea.
- 2:49:47SPEAKER_42: Out of all the ideas that could have been presented on the show today, I think you may have uh hit upon the worst idea uh presented here on the show that deserves absolutely no uh award uh whatsoever.
- 2:50:00SPEAKER_42: That's a no in no way.
- 2:50:03SPEAKER_42: No, we shouldn't be doing either of those of those things.
- 2:50:07SPEAKER_42: Please.
- 2:50:08SPEAKER_42: Boy, it's a Tuesday.
- 2:50:09SPEAKER_42: It is absolutely a Tuesday, and not just for the talkbacks, for me is for me as well.
- 2:50:15SPEAKER_42: It's it's a it's a Tuesday.
- 2:50:17SPEAKER_42: Let's go and hear from uh Christina.
- 2:50:21SPEAKER_42: Good morning, John.
- 2:50:22SPEAKER_42: Oh, my apologies.
- 2:50:24SPEAKER_42: Sorry, my apologies when that happens, by the way.
- 2:50:26SPEAKER_42: I see the name on here, but obviously it's attached to somebody else's account, so clearly this is Oh, but you know what?
- 2:50:31SPEAKER_42: Who am I?
- 2:50:32SPEAKER_42: Who am I to go and assign gender?
- 2:50:36SPEAKER_42: Maybe his name is is Christina.
- 2:50:39SPEAKER_42: Who am I to go and say otherwise?
- 2:50:41SPEAKER_17: This guy in Minneapolis who doesn't protest is an idiot.
- 2:50:45SPEAKER_17: I'm not even gonna say his name, he doesn't deserve it.
- 2:50:47SPEAKER_17: But the hypocrisy of the left is so glaring when you have antico members upset that he drove a car onto a sidewalk.
- 2:50:56SPEAKER_17: Aren't these the people who take over entire city streets and block?
- 2:51:01SPEAKER_17: Make it make sense.
- 2:51:02SPEAKER_42: Yeah, no, that's a great uh that's a great point, Christina.
- 2:51:07SPEAKER_42: You're absolutely right.
- 2:51:08SPEAKER_42: And something that I didn't pick up on uh earlier when we were when we were talking about it.
- 2:51:12SPEAKER_42: No, you're absolutely right.
- 2:51:14SPEAKER_42: For the individuals that were out there obstructing ice every single step of the way, for the left that continues to try to go and make Operation Metro Surge that ended months ago an issue.
- 2:51:26SPEAKER_42: Yeah, it's pretty rich and pretty hypocritical for any of those anti-fa, anti-fascists to be complaining about anybody going and driving up onto a uh onto a sidewalk.
- 2:51:41SPEAKER_42: The Minneapolis City Council is hosting listening sessions this week to gather community feedback for a new police chief uh position.
- 2:51:48SPEAKER_42: Interim uh chief Bill Peterson has been um serving since June.
- 2:51:55SPEAKER_42: The listening uh sessions are scheduled over the course of the next week.
- 2:51:59SPEAKER_42: First precinct inspector Bill Peterson has been serving as the interim police chief following the sudden resignation of former chief Brian O'Hara in late May.
- 2:52:10SPEAKER_42: Allegations of interference into the investigation, obviously his into his conduct was what caused him to have to go and uh bail from that gig.
- 2:52:19SPEAKER_42: Following the listening session, a national uh national search firm will officially post the job opening and recruit candidates.
- 2:52:25SPEAKER_42: Mayor Jacob Fry will review and interview the finalists and submit a final candidate to the city council for consideration.
- 2:52:33SPEAKER_42: I have no high expectations on this at all.
- 2:52:38SPEAKER_42: I don't I who would want this gig, the individuals at the Minneapolis City Council are going to sign off on this gig.
- 2:52:45SPEAKER_42: I have no faith whatsoever that we're gonna end up with the right individual for this job.
- 2:52:50SPEAKER_42: I hope I'm wrong.
- 2:52:52SPEAKER_42: The smartest thing for the Minneapolis City Council to do would be to promote somebody from within who's already serving and cares about the community within the Minneapolis Police Department.
- 2:53:01SPEAKER_42: Somehow I don't see that happening either, unfortunately.
- 2:53:06SPEAKER_42: So if they're looking for an outside individual to fill this needed spot and to have to deal with the fact that we still don't have enough police officers, we're still in violation of the law in Minneapolis based off of the fact that they're constitutionally mandated to have so many police officers, and we still don't.
- 2:53:24SPEAKER_42: Yeah, I have no expectation whatsoever that they're gonna be able to get anybody worth their salt for this job.
- 2:53:30SPEAKER_42: But we'll certainly be keeping an eye, uh, an eye on it here.
- 2:53:33SPEAKER_42: All right, here's what I want to do.
- 2:53:35SPEAKER_42: We have a few minutes left.
- 2:53:36SPEAKER_42: I have one more story that I want to uh to cover, but I also want to try to get representative uh Tom Emmer uh on the line.
- 2:53:42SPEAKER_42: So he's been having some difficulty.
- 2:53:44SPEAKER_42: So uh I'm gonna share with you a little bit of commentary that you might have missed from AmericanExperiment.org while I uh work for just a moment behind the scenes to see if we can't get uh Representative uh Emmer on the show.
- 2:53:56SPEAKER_42: So give me just a minute, and again, here's some commentary that you might have missed from AmericanExperiment.org, and we'll be back in just a few minutes here on the John Justice Show.
- 2:54:03SPEAKER_38: Think about it.
- 2:54:04SPEAKER_38: Now that school's back in session, how are Minnesota students doing?
- 2:54:08SPEAKER_38: Not very well.
- 2:54:09SPEAKER_38: Minnesota ACT scores fell again last year and are the lowest they've been in ten years.
- 2:54:15SPEAKER_38: In fact, fewer than half of Minnesota students can either read or do math at grade level.
- 2:54:20SPEAKER_38: Think about it.
- 2:54:21SPEAKER_38: We used to brag about our schools.
- 2:54:23SPEAKER_38: Now we're losing to states like Mississippi.
- 2:54:25SPEAKER_38: Visit AmericanExperiment.org for more information.
- 2:54:28SPEAKER_38: Think about it is brought to you by Center of the American Experiment, Minnesota's think tank.
- 2:54:33SPEAKER_09: And now, here's commentary on the latest issues facing Minnesotans from the host, Policy Fellows, and guests of American Experiment.
- 2:54:40SPEAKER_43: Josiah Padley here at American Experiment just found that there are eleven schools in Minnesota that have zero students doing math at grade level.
- 2:54:48SPEAKER_43: Now, you might be wondering, is it just because these are, you know, maybe underprivileged schools?
- 2:54:53SPEAKER_43: They don't have the funding or the resources necessary to support these kids?
- 2:54:57SPEAKER_43: No, no is the answer.
- 2:54:59SPEAKER_43: Uh, because their average per pupil spending was$19,600, nearly$20,000 per student, which is also much higher than the state.
- 2:55:07SPEAKER_37: Support the John Justice show.

- 2:55:10SPEAKER_37: Competitive rates for both personal endorsements and standard ads are available.
- 2:55:14SPEAKER_37: For more details, email John.justice at AmericaneExperiment.org.
- 2:55:20SPEAKER_43: There's three things to note here on this story.
- 2:55:22SPEAKER_43: Number one, these findings came straight from data from the Minnesota Department of Education.
- 2:55:26SPEAKER_43: Number two, the eleven schools include traditional public, magnet, and charter schools.
- 2:55:31SPEAKER_43: And number three, grade level mathematics proficiency is measured by the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment, the MCAs, I'm sure you've heard us talk about them before on this show, and they are taken by a majority of Minnesota students.
- 2:55:44SPEAKER_43: Worth noting that almost every school on this list of eleven is in the Twin Cities metro area.
- 2:55:48SPEAKER_43: Five of the eleven schools have had zero students per proficient in math for at least two years in a row.
- 2:55:55SPEAKER_43: Think about it.
- 2:56:00SPEAKER_38: Better in reading and math than black and Hispanic students in Minnesota.
- 2:56:03SPEAKER_38: And Mississippi spends thousands of dollars less per student than Minnesota.
- 2:56:08SPEAKER_38: Mississippi spends less money, gets better results, and their achievement gaps are closing.
- 2:56:13SPEAKER_38: While ours are getting worse.
- 2:56:14SPEAKER_38: Think about it.
- 2:56:16SPEAKER_38: It's time for real education reform so Minnesota can catch up to Mississippi.
- 2:56:20SPEAKER_38: Think about it is brought to you by Center of the American Experiment, Minnesota's think tank.
- 2:56:25SPEAKER_42: People it's the John Justice show presented by American Experiment.
- 2:56:29SPEAKER_42: Head on over to American Experiment.org.
- 2:56:32SPEAKER_42: You can find out about the uh fall briefing uh taking place uh coming up uh in September.
- 2:56:39SPEAKER_42: Encourage you to go and uh and do so.
- 2:56:41SPEAKER_42: Also, uh information about how you can support uh the John Justice show by dropping a donation and get yourself an embroidered John Justice show hat.
- 2:56:50SPEAKER_42: And we have new merchandise arriving very, very soon.
- 2:56:53SPEAKER_42: I am pleased to welcome to the show and we finally got them.
- 2:56:55SPEAKER_42: Representative Tom Emmer, I am so sorry for the technical problems this morning, but it's great to uh it's great to see you this morning, my friend.
- 2:57:02SPEAKER_23: Good to see you, John.
- 2:57:03SPEAKER_23: I was like, uh, okay, so the the MacBook's not working, the iPad's not working, the phone's not working, the congressman is working.
- 2:57:10SPEAKER_23: Okay.
- 2:57:11SPEAKER_23: Yeah, we got it.
- 2:57:12SPEAKER_42: We've we made it work, and thank you so much.
- 2:57:14SPEAKER_42: Because I got a number of things that I want to talk about with you um this morning.
- 2:57:18SPEAKER_42: First off, let's start about the big news yesterday coming out of the Supreme Court, um, ruling partly on President Donald Trump's executive orders regarding mail in ballots.
- 2:57:28SPEAKER_42: Uh, it was funny, Tom.
- 2:57:30SPEAKER_42: I know you'll appreciate this.
- 2:57:31SPEAKER_42: The initial response was uh Supreme Court gives Trump initial victory on voter integrity.
- 2:57:38SPEAKER_42: But what are your thoughts on what the Supreme Court ruled?
- 2:57:41SPEAKER_42: And does this bode well for the rest of President uh Trump's executive order that they have not ruled on yet?
- 2:57:57SPEAKER_23: Open his computer uh Trump uh uh issues an executive order.
- 2:58:01SPEAKER_23: Uh obviously, election integrity is one of the number one issues in this country.
- 2:58:06SPEAKER_23: It by the way, across uh uh uh party lines, Republicans, Democrats, others, it's like an 80% issue.
- 2:58:14SPEAKER_23: Everybody wants their uh their elections to be fair, transparent, and honest, okay?
- 2:58:21SPEAKER_23: Uh President Trump is like this is a uh he's he's like a dog on a bone with this stuff.
- 2:58:26SPEAKER_23: He is not letting it go.
- 2:58:28SPEAKER_23: Uh, he wants it to be done during his term.
- 2:58:31SPEAKER_23: So what does he do?
- 2:58:32SPEAKER_23: On mail-in ballots, he signs an executive order months ago at the beginning of his term almost.
- 2:58:38SPEAKER_23: Uh, and what happens?
- 2:58:39SPEAKER_23: You got 23 states, including ours, with Keith Ellison, the crooked attorney general that we have, and the Trump-hating attorney general, sues uh the federal government, saying they can't do this.
- 2:58:51SPEAKER_23: And what are they doing?
- 2:58:52SPEAKER_23: They're saying that you should put together a list of people who are actually eligible for mail-in ballots, and you should maintain it.
- 2:59:00SPEAKER_23: And the federal government should be able to check your homework.
- 2:59:03SPEAKER_23: Okay, John?
- 2:59:04SPEAKER_23: Uh what they did yesterday is the Supreme Court said to Keith Ellison and his uh uh Trump-hating colleagues uh, nope, this is too uh it's premature, not right.
- 2:59:15SPEAKER_23: Trump can continue to work on his executive order, his administration can.
- 2:59:20SPEAKER_23: Uh this it this is not ready for prime time.
- 2:59:23SPEAKER_23: Go away.
- 2:59:23SPEAKER_23: And guess what?
- 2:59:24SPEAKER_23: Guess what?
- 2:59:25SPEAKER_23: Trump is going to continue it, but this is why our Senate has got to get off their rear ends and pass the Save America Act, John.
- 2:59:34SPEAKER_42: Yep.
- 2:59:35SPEAKER_23: Say it that way.
- 2:59:36SPEAKER_42: Yeah, something, yeah, something that you and I have talked about uh quite a bit, and I know that our audience feels the uh feels the same way.
- 2:59:42SPEAKER_42: Let's move over again.
- 2:59:44SPEAKER_42: I got a number of issues to uh talk to you about.
- 2:59:46SPEAKER_42: Before we get to uh Governor, I call him Governor Dimwalls, uh Tom.
- 2:59:51SPEAKER_42: Before we get to Governor Dimwalls and his uh executive order on uh mining up in the boundary waters, I don't think we you and I haven't had a chance to talk since the uh since the primary.
- 3:00:00SPEAKER_42: So I'm curious your uh your thoughts on the primary results and uh the slate of uh candidates that the Republicans have chosen to run uh in November here in Minnesota.
- 3:00:09SPEAKER_23: I I think uh the people have spoken, John, and overwhelmingly.
- 3:00:14SPEAKER_23: So if your uh if if a listener uh uh to your program, John, is saying, yeah, but my candidate didn't get uh didn't get uh through the primary, and maybe that was the endorsed candidate, right?
- 3:00:26SPEAKER_23: Uh okay, I I hear what you're saying, uh, but they didn't.
- 3:00:31SPEAKER_23: And now we have the people's choices.
- 3:00:34SPEAKER_23: Uh this is uh all of Minnesota had a chance to weigh in, all Minnesota Republicans.
- 3:00:38SPEAKER_23: You had about 400,000 turn out, John.
- 3:00:41SPEAKER_23: I I think Lisa Damuth is a great pick.
- 3:00:44SPEAKER_23: And I think Lisa Damuth uh and her running mate are going to give uh Amy Klobuchar fits.
- 3:00:50SPEAKER_23: As uh as Jackie Emmer said to me, this is the biggest nightmare that uh Amy Klobuchar could have ever uh uh expected.
- 3:00:58SPEAKER_23: Uh Michelle Tefoya, we've got a real candidate.
- 3:01:02SPEAKER_23: This is a candidate that uh is is attracting national attention.
- 3:01:07SPEAKER_23: Again, uh the other people in that race, I like them all.
- 3:01:10SPEAKER_23: I didn't have an issue when the people spoke.
- 3:01:15SPEAKER_23: They chose uh Michelle.
- 3:01:16SPEAKER_23: Michelle is raising the money.
- 3:01:18SPEAKER_23: And you know what, John?
- 3:01:19SPEAKER_23: Michelle's candidacy may bring a ton of outside investment into Minnesota because I think uh with Peggy Flanagan on the other side, that nutbag, I think uh you're gonna see this get national attention.
- 3:01:32SPEAKER_23: Uh, you're gonna have a Minnesota Senate seat on the map for the first time, uh, probably since Coleman and uh Franken, uh, you know, more than a decade ago.
- 3:01:42SPEAKER_23: So I I like the slate.
- 3:01:44SPEAKER_23: Uh it is uh the it's the people that were chosen.
- 3:01:47SPEAKER_23: And you know what?
- 3:01:48SPEAKER_23: We need to get behind all of them because I believe they can win.
- 3:01:53SPEAKER_42: Hey, were you in uh were you in DC over the weekend for the uh for the indie car uh race?
- 3:01:58SPEAKER_42: Were you uh were you near the event or were you uh watching watching from afar?
- 3:02:02SPEAKER_42: Uh because it was impressive.
- 3:02:03SPEAKER_42: We were we talked about the past few days, and it was an amazing, uh, amazing event.
- 3:02:06SPEAKER_42: But I was curious if you were if you were in DC at the time.
- 3:02:08SPEAKER_23: No, it was amazing.
- 3:02:10SPEAKER_23: And uh this one, this one I literally had to sit out, right?
- 3:02:14SPEAKER_23: I'm uh I I'm I'm up on my feet again and moving.
- 3:02:18SPEAKER_23: I've got uh with the assistance of crutches, I can walk.
- 3:02:21SPEAKER_23: Hopefully in the next week or two, I'll get rid of the crutches and we'll be back in in full motion.
- 3:02:27SPEAKER_23: But I took the time to actually stay off my feet.
- 3:02:31SPEAKER_23: And I was I was smiling because uh, you know, I had to do this wheelchair for a little while.
- 3:02:36SPEAKER_23: I yeah, I should have been there for the race, man.
- 3:02:38SPEAKER_23: I was getting really fast in that thing.
- 3:02:40SPEAKER_23: What a race, though.
- 3:02:42SPEAKER_23: I hope even the Trump haters, I hope they understand what a great thing for the District of Columbia.
- 3:02:49SPEAKER_23: Uh they should keep that going every year.
- 3:02:52SPEAKER_42: Yeah, no, I completely agree.
- 3:02:54SPEAKER_42: I completely agree.
- 3:02:55SPEAKER_42: Um, and also, speaking of agreeing, um, you have uh Grant uh Hoschild.
- 3:03:00SPEAKER_42: He has an editorial in the Star Tribune.
- 3:03:02SPEAKER_42: I'm a rural Democrat, he writes.
- 3:03:04SPEAKER_42: Here's why I disagree with Walls and his executive order on mining.
- 3:03:08SPEAKER_42: I have a separate story here, uh, Representative Tom Emmer.
- 3:03:11SPEAKER_42: Walls' executive order to restrict mining near boundary waters faces bipartisan backlash.
- 3:03:17SPEAKER_42: Before I get your view on what um, again, my words, Dim Walls did here with this.
- 3:03:24SPEAKER_42: I do, I'm curious.
- 3:03:25SPEAKER_42: What do you think his motivation was?
- 3:03:27SPEAKER_42: Was this to take it off the table for Amy Klobuchar?
- 3:03:31SPEAKER_42: Was he appealing to special interest groups?
- 3:03:33SPEAKER_42: It just seems like a very bizarre, unpopular move from a lame duck governor, even for for Governor Dim Walls.
- 3:03:42SPEAKER_23: Why do you think he did this?
- 3:03:43SPEAKER_23: Well, first off, you brought up the worst newspaper.
- 3:03:46SPEAKER_23: Uh it's I I John, there are better ways to hurt yourself.
- 3:03:50SPEAKER_23: Stop reading that stupid thing.
- 3:03:52SPEAKER_23: I other people do, though, Tommy.
- 3:03:56SPEAKER_42: And I'm here to counter that.
- 3:03:57SPEAKER_42: Think about it.
- 3:03:58SPEAKER_23: There's 5.7 million people in this state.
- 3:04:00SPEAKER_23: Less than 200,000 even look at that piece of garbage.
- 3:04:03SPEAKER_23: And you know what?
- 3:04:04SPEAKER_23: Uh it's gonna get smaller and smaller.
- 3:04:06SPEAKER_23: Within the next four or five years, if they're still alive, and I hope they're not, uh they are uh they're gonna have about 30,000 people max uh reading that that worthless uh political rag.
- 3:04:18SPEAKER_23: Uh but when it comes to your question, I call him the lame duck loser.
- 3:04:22SPEAKER_23: Uh, this was spiteful, John.
- 3:04:24SPEAKER_23: Spiteful.
- 3:04:25SPEAKER_23: That's all it is.
- 3:04:26SPEAKER_23: Think about this.
- 3:04:27SPEAKER_23: Uh Tina Smith and Peggy Flanagan engineered this whole thing to put Peggy Flanagan in position to replace her friend Tina Smith.
- 3:04:38SPEAKER_23: I don't think people recognize that those two had dinner the night before the announcement.
- 3:04:42SPEAKER_23: Uh when uh Tina made the announcement the next day at midday, within minutes, Peggy Flanagan's announcement, I'm running, was out there.
- 3:04:50SPEAKER_23: They they circled the wagons around Peggy Flanagan, they being the uh the new uh Marxist Socialist Anarchist Party of America here in Minnesota, circled the wagons around this Minneapolis extremist within hours.
- 3:05:04SPEAKER_23: And guess why they did it, John?
- 3:05:06SPEAKER_23: They did it because they don't like Tim Walls.
- 3:05:10SPEAKER_23: And they didn't want Tim Walls to think that he would be the heir apparent.
- 3:05:15SPEAKER_23: And you know what?
- 3:05:16SPEAKER_23: Interesting.
- 3:05:16SPEAKER_23: Then Tim said he was gonna run for governor, and he it's so corrupt and he's so incompetent, he couldn't even do that.
- 3:05:24SPEAKER_23: So they made him get out of the way for Amy Klobuchar.
- 3:05:27SPEAKER_23: So why do you think he did it, John?
- 3:05:28SPEAKER_23: He's a spiteful little baby who uh has nowhere to go.
- 3:05:33SPEAKER_23: He's not competent to run a buffet, okay?
- 3:05:37SPEAKER_23: This guy shouldn't be in charge of anything.
- 3:05:39SPEAKER_23: And so what does he do?
- 3:05:41SPEAKER_23: He goes after the boundary waters and now puts the Democrat candidates like Amy Klobuchar in the worst, but not only is it a stupid uh decision, because it goes against all the science.
- 3:05:53SPEAKER_23: It actually empowers the Communist uh Party of China.
- 3:05:56SPEAKER_23: Oh, well, maybe that's it.
- 3:05:58SPEAKER_23: Uh his friends over uh in Asia.
- 3:06:02SPEAKER_23: Uh but I think it's just spite.
- 3:06:04SPEAKER_23: He did it out of spite to put Amy in a bad place and everybody else.
- 3:06:08SPEAKER_42: Well, it expires 90 days after he leaves uh office.
- 3:06:12SPEAKER_42: What do you think the future of the order is going to be?
- 3:06:15SPEAKER_42: And especially with this, with you know, there's bipartisan backlash uh on this.
- 3:06:18SPEAKER_42: So what do you think the inevitability, uh what do you think the inevitable end of this order will be once uh Walls is out of office?
- 3:06:26SPEAKER_23: I don't think I think it's done.
- 3:06:27SPEAKER_23: I mean, look, the Obama administration did this to uh Rick Nolan, a uh a mining-friendly Democrat uh in northern Minnesota.
- 3:06:35SPEAKER_23: They did it to him two hours before they left office.
- 3:06:38SPEAKER_23: They didn't even tell him they were gonna try and shut it down.
- 3:06:41SPEAKER_23: Uh it took us working with President Trump and his administration to get it reopened.
- 3:06:47SPEAKER_23: The Biden folks then made it more difficult, even though they didn't go as far, I would argue, as uh as the Obama folks.
- 3:06:54SPEAKER_23: Uh and guess what?
- 3:06:55SPEAKER_23: Uh Trump opened it up again, and here we go.
- 3:06:57SPEAKER_23: Uh this is the Minneapolis liberals, left-wing nutbags that don't believe you and I should ever be able to go in and cut a tree down.
- 3:07:07SPEAKER_23: Uh, it's these people who are telling all of northern Minnesota, by the way, uh a huge number of working men and women, union jobs that they claim they uh support, uh, they're telling them your way of life is no good.
- 3:07:21SPEAKER_23: It's not gonna survive, John.
- 3:07:23SPEAKER_23: And today's mining uh is uh we have the most strict, stringent environmental laws in the world.
- 3:07:30SPEAKER_23: And Minnesota even uh aspires for greater.
- 3:07:33SPEAKER_23: Uh so the idea that we would ever let mining harm the uh the boundary waters uh is ludicrous.
- 3:07:41SPEAKER_23: And I would just add, go up to northern Minnesota if you're not familiar with mining.
- 3:07:46SPEAKER_23: Look at what is left after the iron ore mining that took place for decades uh leading into the 70s.
- 3:07:53SPEAKER_23: John, the where they carved out the earth, it filled with water.
- 3:07:58SPEAKER_23: You now have lakes with some of the cleanest water in the world.
- 3:08:03SPEAKER_23: So uh it's it's a ridiculous order.
- 3:08:06SPEAKER_23: When it goes away, uh just like Tim Walls, we'll never remember it.
- 3:08:12SPEAKER_42: Representative Tom Emmer, continued good luck in uh in your recovery.
- 3:08:16SPEAKER_42: I'm glad everything went well.
- 3:08:18SPEAKER_42: You clearly need to get back on your feet because you got a lot of uh energy to get out there.
- 3:08:21SPEAKER_42: There's no doubt about uh doubt about that.
- 3:08:24SPEAKER_42: So uh thank you for uh weathering the technical problems uh that we experienced this morning.
- 3:08:28SPEAKER_42: But it was great to hear from you.
- 3:08:29SPEAKER_42: Glad that we got you on, and I look forward to hopefully talking with you again uh next week.
- 3:08:33SPEAKER_23: I hope so too.
- 3:08:34SPEAKER_23: And we'll have a little more time.
- 3:08:36SPEAKER_42: Thank you.
- 3:08:37SPEAKER_42: Thank you so much.
