  Yesterday, we talked about end times, the end times, and how we can live in joy and not fear.

  Today, we're going to talk about something that's right in front of us all,

  every day, on our phones, in our hands, and in our minds, social media.

  We explore how the algorithm is shaping our hearts and how to make sure it doesn't steal our joy.

  You know, every time you open your favorite app, TikTok, Facebook,

  Instagram, X, that feed is ready for you. It knows what you like,

  what you click, what you comment on.

  That's the algorithm. But here's something I've learned.

  If we're not careful, the algorithm starts to lead us instead of serving us.

  One day, you're scrolling through funny videos. The next, you're comparing yourself to others.

  You start feeling anxious, left out, maybe even inadequate. And before you know
• 2:08
  it, your joy starts slipping away.

  Not because of what's happening in your life, but because of what's happening on your screen.

  You know, there have been times when I felt like I was losing focus.

  Moments when I let the noise of social media make me forget who I was in Christ.

  Maybe you've been there too. You scroll, and it feels like the world is yelling at you. Be better.

  Look better, get more likes, do more, have more.

  And then you start to wonder, am I enough? So here's the truth.

  Even when the world tells you you're not enough, God says you are.

  God isn't the author of confusion or comparison. He's the giver of peace.

  He doesn't measure your worth by views or followers.

  He measures it by the love in your heart.

  So, even in a world that thrives on attention, you can also choose to walk with intention.

  You can let your faith lead your feet.

  Let me turn to Scripture. Romans 12.2.

  Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

  Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is.

  His good, pleasing, and perfect will.
• 3:41
  What a powerful reminder. God doesn't want us to conform to the world's pattern.

  Or the world's algorithm for that thing.

  He wants us to renew our minds, to fill them with truth, hope, and love, not noise.

  So maybe it's time to take control of what fills our feet.

  Maybe it's time to let God's word trend in our hearts.

  Today, I want to challenge you to think about what you allow your heart through your phone.

  What if, just what if, just once today, before you scroll, you stopped to pray?

  Lord, guide what I see. Lord, let what I consume bring me closer to you.

  Because when faith leads the way, the algorithm doesn't win. The spirit does.

  So remember, your attention is valuable.

  Don't let it be hijacked. God has something better for you.

  Peace, purpose, and perseverance and presence. That's the truth.

  Don't let the algorithm decide your worth. Let God define it.

  Use them to glorify God. And never forget the importance of how much you matter.
