- 0:23hypnosis, so do not listen while driving or operating machinery.
- 0:27This recording is not suitable for those with epilepsy or
- 0:30severe mental health issues, so get yourself comfortable and
- 0:34enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:40Hi, it's Adam here. And in this episode of The
- 0:43Hypnotist, you're going to be listening to a hypnosis session
- 0:47that was. Created.
- 0:49For a client that really felt it.
- 0:52Difficult to. Ask for help or they.
- 0:57Would feel guilty. Or resentful if they were giving
- 1:01help and part of it came from. Trust issues that resolved.
- 1:06And and or were created in their past, particularly in childhood
- 1:11where. People would.
- 1:12Take advantage. They would ask for things but
- 1:14not really reciprocate. And there was this fear of
- 1:18expectation or exploitation or manipulation.
- 1:21And what you're going to hear in this hypnosis session, it
- 1:24utilizes a backdrop of where this particular client wanted to
- 1:29move to. They wanted to move from the
- 1:30city to something less built up. So it uses the backdrop of New
- 1:37England, particularly Newport, and what you're going to find
- 1:42there is a deepener that involves T, which is called a
- 1:47unique deepener, and suggestions and metaphors like a balance and
- 1:55how. Debts of.
- 1:57Favours become almost like tokens to evaluate whether or
- 2:02not a boundary is necessary or not.
- 2:04So if you have. Difficulty.
- 2:09Asking for help. You have this attitude of I need
- 2:13to do everything by myself. I don't want to rely on anyone.
- 2:16I think you will benefit from this session.
- 2:20Of course it was created for unique individuals.
- 2:22Some of the references won't correlate to you.
- 2:25Because. They are them and and you are
- 2:27you. But if you like the idea of
- 2:29working with me directly on an issue specific to your needs,
- 2:34check out the link in the show notes where you can schedule
- 2:36that free 30 minute consultation.
- 2:38Call or drop me an e-mail with any questions you have, and
- 2:41that's adam@adamcox.co.uk. For now though, find a quiet,
- 2:46comfortable place where you won't be disturbed.
- 2:49Relax and enjoy the session. Take a deep breath in, and as
- 3:47you breathe in, breathe in a slow, long, relaxing breath.
- 3:58And as you exhale, feel a wonderful sense of release,
- 4:09particularly around your forehead, your jaw, neck, and
- 4:15shoulders. Feel a sense that you're letting
- 4:22go, and on your next inward breath, breathe in slightly
- 4:33deeper than the last, holding it when it's fully retained.
- 4:41And as you release, just imagine breathing out twice as long and
- 4:49twice as slow, enabling you to really feel that you're
- 4:57releasing any stress and any tension from your body.
- 5:05So once you breathe in and breathe out, allowing any
- 5:08background noises to fade away, maybe take a moment to settle
- 5:16there into your chair, allowing your body to relax, feel the
- 5:23support beneath you. Take another deep breath in,
- 5:30breathing in a resourceful feeling of relaxation and
- 5:35exhaling any tension. Breathe in and breathe out as
- 5:44you allow yourself to sink deeper into comfort and pure
- 5:50relaxation. And I want you to use the power
- 5:58of your imagination to imagine yourself in a picturesque New
- 6:07England town, but not on a cloudy grey day.
- 6:13Imagine it's a crisp, clear day, blue skies and sunshine, and
- 6:21feel as you breathe in that the air is clean and invigorating.
- 6:32And I wonder if you could imagine yourself walking along
- 6:35winding streets lined with charming colonial houses.
- 6:44Perhaps the white clapboard siding glinting in soft
- 6:48sunlight. Each house seems to hold a
- 6:53story, a history, and as you stroll you feel a sense of
- 7:02timelessness and serenity. And maybe you can imagine
- 7:10further along vineyards stretching out across rolling
- 7:17hills, their rows neat and orderly.
- 7:26The leaves shimmer in the breeze and almost imagine tasting the
- 7:33sweet ripeness in the air. And beyond the vineyards, the
- 7:40ocean sparkles like a field of diamonds.
- 7:46Imagine seeing the sunshine blinking off the waves, and the
- 7:52sound of waves lapping against the docks is soothing, a rhythm
- 7:58that matches the pace of your breath, slow and steady.
- 8:08And now teleport yourself to the famous Cliff Walk near the
- 8:14Newport Mansions. The path winds along the edge of
- 8:19the cliffs, giving you breathtaking views of the ocean
- 8:25and the grandeur of the historic estates.
- 8:31The sun's rays shimmer off the water and you feel a sense of
- 8:38calm and wonder washing over you because everything here moves at
- 8:48a different pace, the pace that allows you to breathe deeply and
- 8:56relax fully. Imagine your Cliff walk is
- 9:02finished. Find yourself in those winding
- 9:06streets. Perhaps you can imagine a quaint
- 9:11little cafe with a view of the ocean, and you decide to step
- 9:19inside where the interior is warm and welcoming, perhaps with
- 9:27wooden beams, a comforting scent of tea and pastries.
- 9:33Imagine taking a seat by the window, or perhaps outside, and
- 9:41imagine being served with a steaming cup of oolong tea.
- 9:49You lift the cup and take a sip, feeling the warmth spread
- 9:54through your body, noticing the unique scent, and each sip
- 10:01brings you deeper into relaxation.
- 10:09With every taste of the tea, you feel a sense of grounding and
- 10:16balance. The smooth, earthy flavours
- 10:22anchor you to this moment, helping you release any
- 10:27lingering thoughts or worries. Sip by sip, you go deeper and
- 10:38deeper into a place of calm and clarity.
- 10:46So now, as you sit here in this place of peace and serenity,
- 10:54feel your arms limp and loose, you're breathing effortless, any
- 11:01tension in your face melting away, a wonderful feeling of
- 11:08complete relaxation, I want you to reflect on the idea of
- 11:14helping others. Imagine each act of kindness,
- 11:24each favour, as a thread in a tapestry, a tapestry that weaves
- 11:36connections between people. Each interaction is a new
- 11:44thread, and these threads are strong yet flexible, and they
- 11:50allow you to feel connected while maintaining your
- 11:55independence. These are threads, not chains.
- 12:02Connected, not controlled. Because you have the power to
- 12:08say no when you need to. Saying no is like placing a
- 12:14sturdy lock on a door that you can open whenever you choose.
- 12:19It's not about shutting people out, it's about ensuring that
- 12:26your space is respected. And at the same time, there is
- 12:34immense power in saying yes, because when you choose to say
- 12:40yes, you open that locked door to opportunities, to building
- 12:48trust, to creating bonds, into discovering the reciprocity that
- 12:56strengthens relationships. Perhaps you can imagine a scale,
- 13:06an old fashioned weighing scale, balanced and fair.
- 13:11Each small favour, each act of generosity places a token on one
- 13:21side of the scale. And over time, you can see who
- 13:28is adding to the balance and who takes without giving these small
- 13:35debts. These tokens become a way to
- 13:38evaluate the integrity and reliability of the people in
- 13:45your life. They help you see clearly who
- 13:51can be trusted and who might require thermal boundaries.
- 13:58Saying no to an unequal balance is the easiest.
- 14:04No, no need for guilt. You evaluate the dynamics and
- 14:13act accordingly because as you gain this clarity, you feel a
- 14:21deep sense of empowerment. But without these small gestures
- 14:27and favours, the balance would never be revealed.
- 14:33You couldn't know who to trust and who not to.
- 14:36You need the small debts and favours these tokens to
- 14:42evaluate. The scales want you now to
- 14:49imagine yourself walking through a vineyard where each vine
- 14:54represents a relationship in your life.
- 14:59Some vines are strong and fruitful, offering abundance in
- 15:03return for care, and others may be tangled or weak, requiring
- 15:11pruning or even removal. You tend to this vineyard with
- 15:17care and intention, knowing that the harvest depends on the
- 15:24balance between giving and receiving.
- 15:32And as you walk, you realize that resentment, or the fear of
- 15:40being manipulated or taken advantage of, is like a weed
- 15:45that can choke the vines. But now you're able to see these
- 15:52weeds clearly, and you have the tools to remove them, allowing
- 15:59you to let go of resentment, particularly of yourself,
- 16:05replacing it with discernment and empowerment.
- 16:14Imagine the vineyard growing with more vines, healthier vines
- 16:20that lead to a bountiful harvest.
- 16:24By nurturing the vines that matter most, you allow your
- 16:29vineyard to thrive. From this moment forward, you
- 16:40carry with you the confidence to evaluate relationships with
- 16:46wisdom and clarity, but you can only evaluate relationships by
- 16:54giving them a chance. You trust your ability to say no
- 17:00whenever necessary, and you find joy in saying yes when it aligns
- 17:07with your values and strengthens your connections.
- 17:13Each small debt of a favor becomes a tool for understanding
- 17:20way to build trust with those who reciprocate and to set
- 17:25boundaries with those who do not.
- 17:31You are free from fear, you are empowered, and you are at peace
- 17:40with the balance of giving and receiving.
- 17:47But before we leave this part of the world, I want you to imagine
- 17:53your life here, maybe six months or 12 months in the future.
- 18:00See yourself with strong connections, good friends,
- 18:06interesting social life and activities.
- 18:10Things you find stimulating and enjoyable.
- 18:14See that future version of you with an enhanced quality of
- 18:19life? You're not just surviving in
- 18:23this place. You are thriving in this place.
- 18:28And when you can imagine that future, a future free of
- 18:35manipulation, guilt, and resentment, let me know by
- 18:40nodding your head. That's it.
- 18:43And consider this a seed you're planting now that will bear
- 18:50fruit in the near future. But now imagine yourself back at
- 18:56that cafe, staring into a finished cup of oolong tea,
- 19:04realizing that this has been a journey in your imagination.
- 19:08Ideas within ideas, thoughts within thoughts, and dreams
- 19:13within dreams. But it's now time to return.
- 19:17But you return with a sense of clarity, perspective, and a
- 19:24sense that you are free to say yes to things you used to say no
- 19:31to. Because in doing so, the scales
- 19:38reveal themselves to you. So take a deep breath in through
- 19:42your nose and out through your nose.
- 19:49Wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes.
- 19:51Start to calibrate with the here and now as I now count from 1:00
- 19:57to 10:00 to awaken you. Starting to count. 123 waking up
- 20:04456, more alert. That's it. 7-8 Fully open your
- 20:08eyes. 910 wide awake, wide awake, wide awake.
