- 0:09Speaker 1: Advice. It's time nice hell level lo lo lo leve
- 0:15Speaker 1: low lower level love. No, welcome to the naughty but nice.
- 0:18Speaker 1: I have your host from Shooter. It's all Wednesday, which
- 0:20Speaker 1: means I to your friend Donny Meecham's joining goes Hey, Danny.
- 0:23Speaker 2: You're there, lower level level.
- 0:25Speaker 3: Oh, I almost had a host to show myself today.
- 0:29Speaker 1: You were hoping to. I think my microphone wasn't quite
- 0:34Speaker 1: working my head, so you know, it's been a disaster.
- 0:36Speaker 1: What is it called mercury in retrograde? Have you ever
- 0:39Speaker 1: heard of that? I didn't know what that meant. It
- 0:41Speaker 1: meant everything is going wrong. My coffee machine has broken,
- 0:44Speaker 1: my microphone's not working. I'm seeing Miss d for drinks tonight.
- 0:47Speaker 1: I'm should cancel. I could end up. We could be
- 0:49Speaker 1: something terrible could happen.
- 0:51Speaker 2: What if you're what if there are voker?
- 0:54Speaker 1: That would be terrible. We'll go and find we'll god that. Okay,
- 0:57Speaker 1: let's jump into the shower issue in New York. You'd
- 1:00Speaker 1: be more than welcome to join us if you want
- 1:02Speaker 1: to zip over. But it's just too cool. Oh, yes,
- 1:08Speaker 1: it was. Okay, let's jump into the show. What time
- 1:10Speaker 1: is it and it's one hundred degrees and needs a
- 1:12Speaker 1: heat wave. What time is it? What time is it?
- 1:14Speaker 1: My friends, it is tea time. Big sad story at
- 1:18Speaker 1: the top of the show. Harry Prince. Harry's paranoia is
- 1:21Speaker 1: spiraling after his security fears have taken over his life.
- 1:25Speaker 1: So Harry recently has announced that he probably won't be
- 1:28Speaker 1: going back to Britain with his family because of security concerns. Now,
- 1:31Speaker 1: sources are telling me this is not new. He has
- 1:34Speaker 1: become deeply paranoid and increasingly fear based. Sources tell me
- 1:40Speaker 1: that the Duke of Sussex has become consumed by conservative,
- 1:45Speaker 1: by security, sorry, by security concerns after losing that court battle.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Those closest surround him, Donnie. They're telling me that they're
- 1:54Speaker 1: actually worried for him. They said, it's becoming really strange.
- 1:58Speaker 1: He's insisting that their whole is swept for listening devices
- 2:03Speaker 1: a couple of times each year. He's also changed his
- 2:05Speaker 1: phone number a lot, and he limits direct contact with himself.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Now there's nobody that can deny Harry has had a rough,
- 2:13Speaker 1: rough childhood. If my mommy was killed in a tunnel
- 2:16Speaker 1: being chased by paparazzi, but let's remember a drunk man
- 2:18Speaker 1: whilst driving the car. If there's any blame to be
- 2:21Speaker 1: had there, I think I would be paranoid. I would
- 2:24Speaker 1: be very concerned too, and so I don't want him
- 2:28Speaker 1: to live like this. But Harry is only the only
- 2:31Speaker 1: one that can do the work to not live like this.
- 2:34Speaker 1: We've had friends, Donnie, you and I who have had
- 2:36Speaker 1: real mental health issues, and it's not funny. It's really serious.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Paranoia is such a cruel thing when when you think everybody,
- 2:44Speaker 1: everyone's had to get you, everybody's coming after you. Harry
- 2:48Speaker 1: seems to be there at the moment. What do you think.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Okay, now I'm going to try and put this nicely.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Then I'm do nicely. The butt nice part.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Is the book.
- 3:01Speaker 3: My thing is the book I'm I think Harry, it's
- 3:05Speaker 3: easy sometimes for him to give these reasons as opposed
- 3:10Speaker 3: to maybe my family doesn't want me around anymore because
- 3:13Speaker 3: I have really talked bad about them for many, many
- 3:17Speaker 3: many years and spilled their secrets and I don't feel
- 3:22Speaker 3: very welcomed there, and so I think it's easier sometimes
- 3:25Speaker 3: to say that. You know, he's fearing for himself, He's
- 3:29Speaker 3: fearing for this because it's a lot easier a for.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Him to comprehend and for him.
- 3:34Speaker 3: To rationalize, like, oh, it's not because my family is
- 3:38Speaker 3: upset with me because I have done all these things.
- 3:41Speaker 2: It is the other.
- 3:43Speaker 1: It's that's so smart as a friend at the moment,
- 3:47Speaker 1: I've done something very naughty to a friend of mine
- 3:50Speaker 1: and they called him in. I haven't called them back, shocking,
- 3:53Speaker 1: and I haven't called them back, and it's not because
- 3:56Speaker 1: of any other reason. But I know, you know, you
- 4:00Speaker 1: know when you're in there, you do know you might,
- 4:03Speaker 1: you know you did it. You know I know I
- 4:05Speaker 1: did it, and I'm not going to pretend to do it,
- 4:08Speaker 1: and so you stay away from people. There's this paranoid
- 4:12Speaker 1: that Harry's mental state has always been fragile. I don't
- 4:15Speaker 1: want to say he's Britney Spears, but he's had issues.
- 4:18Speaker 1: He's he's had severe trauma in his life and it
- 4:21Speaker 1: all started when his mom died at a very early
- 4:24Speaker 1: age and being made to walk behind that coffin. I
- 4:27Speaker 1: get it, I do get it. But there does become
- 4:30Speaker 1: a moment in life when you have to say you're
- 4:33Speaker 1: so privileged, you have so much money, you have so
- 4:36Speaker 1: much fame, you have so many resources, get it together.
- 4:39Speaker 1: I don't want to say I believe in tough love,
- 4:42Speaker 1: but part of me, Donnie, I think, I think I do.
- 4:44Speaker 1: I try to be so compassionate with my friends, but
- 4:47Speaker 1: at some point I'm like, you've got to do something,
- 4:51Speaker 1: like I can't do anymore. If the Brits, if the
- 4:55Speaker 1: British government, it's not his father, If the British government
- 4:58Speaker 1: gave Harry this extra secure that he wants, he'd finds
- 5:01Speaker 1: something else to moan about. Like I just feel as
- 5:04Speaker 1: if being unhappy has become his full time job and
- 5:08Speaker 1: it's so unappealing. Not a good look.
- 5:10Speaker 3: No, But it's also because think about it, there's so
- 5:13Speaker 3: many things him and Megan.
- 5:15Speaker 2: They tried to have.
- 5:17Speaker 3: A you know, a burgeoning you know, Netflix career did
- 5:21Speaker 3: not work. They tried to have a you know, gigantic
- 5:25Speaker 3: Spotify deal didn't work. I think there's a lot that's
- 5:29Speaker 3: going wrong. And I mean to be honest, I'm the
- 5:33Speaker 3: same way.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Sometimes we all are. It's like we don't want to go.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Maybe it's me. Maybe it's me, I know, I yeah,
- 5:39Speaker 1: maybe it's me. Harr's got a long history of doing this.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I was reading his book Against Spare he blamed Kate
- 5:46Speaker 1: and William for him wearing a Nazi uniform. He blamed
- 5:50Speaker 1: William for him shaving his head at Eton. He blamed
- 5:56Speaker 1: the Institution of the Crown for the fact that he
- 5:58Speaker 1: was told he couldn't have a big when he got married.
- 6:01Speaker 1: When he got married, he wanted to wear his military uniform.
- 6:04Speaker 1: And there's an ancient law. The law might not be right,
- 6:06Speaker 1: but it's still the law. You've got to be clean shaven.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Any other officer who wanted to wear a uniform would
- 6:13Speaker 1: have to shave. Harry didn't, and he appealed to the
- 6:16Speaker 1: Queen and she let him get away with it. And
- 6:18Speaker 1: so I do not want to kick somebody when they're down.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I'm actually a bit worried about Harry at the moment.
- 6:24Speaker 1: I hear it's in a really, really bad place, which
- 6:27Speaker 1: brings us to our pole question of the day. Prince
- 6:30Speaker 1: Harry is paranoia. Has got friends, family members really really worried.
- 6:35Speaker 1: They said, he he's obsession with security, He's taking over
- 6:39Speaker 1: his life. Is he melting down? Are we witnessing? Are
- 6:43Speaker 1: we watching right now a royal meltdown? Hey? Go vote
- 6:47Speaker 1: on our Twitter page. Add an audinized rob our Facebook
- 6:50Speaker 1: pages and be sure to check back down my right
- 6:53Speaker 1: water here at your results. Hey Donny Love, what are
- 6:56Speaker 1: you working on?
- 6:57Speaker 3: Well, well, it is officially Taylor and Travis Wedding watch.
- 7:04Speaker 2: I think, but I I think, which is what we
- 7:06Speaker 2: talked about last week. I think they're already married. I
- 7:10Speaker 2: think that that part has already happened.
- 7:13Speaker 3: I think that you know, now it's just about the party,
- 7:16Speaker 3: just about.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Getting out there.
- 7:18Speaker 3: And but apparently, you know, wedding guest which I would
- 7:23Speaker 3: assume that people also at Madison Square Garden, which was
- 7:25Speaker 3: going to be the wedding party, were signed you know
- 7:31Speaker 3: n DA's obviously because it's Taylor Swift. But it turns
- 7:35Speaker 3: out those NDAs are maybe just a formality. There's no
- 7:41Speaker 3: there's no legal there's no monetary penalties, there's nothing to do.
- 7:45Speaker 2: They didn't even they're not even asked not to film,
- 7:48Speaker 2: which is shot. I think though, which I.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Think this is an evolving Taylor, is that Travis is
- 7:55Speaker 3: allowing her to trust people again, and so.
- 7:59Speaker 2: She's letting her walk.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Because Taylor would never go to a k next game
- 8:02Speaker 3: and say courtside, and before she was always so guarded
- 8:06Speaker 3: in and now she's just out there you're coming to
- 8:09Speaker 3: my wedding.
- 8:10Speaker 2: You want to take a picture, Take a picture, Take
- 8:12Speaker 2: a picture.
- 8:13Speaker 1: I hope so I like this looser gooser Taylor. But
- 8:16Speaker 1: the problem is with this is that we just don't know.
- 8:19Speaker 1: I did an interview today for the BBC about the wedding,
- 8:23Speaker 1: and I was hopeless. I'm a really good reporter. I've
- 8:26Speaker 1: been doing this for a really long time. They wanted facts,
- 8:29Speaker 1: they wanted details. I don't have them. Nobody has them.
- 8:33Speaker 1: The fact that their guests do not know where this
- 8:36Speaker 1: wedding is. They've been told to just be in New York.
- 8:38Speaker 1: All the Madison Square Garden stuff is stuff in the
- 8:40Speaker 1: press that is not on the invite. I have actually
- 8:44Speaker 1: seen an invite. They wouldn't. They wouldn't. The person that's
- 8:46Speaker 1: been invited wouldn't email it to me because they know
- 8:48Speaker 1: I would post it. But they showed it me on
- 8:51Speaker 1: their phone. We were having actually a BOTTYO. We used
- 8:54Speaker 1: to go Donnie when you before you abandoned us, before
- 8:57Speaker 1: you left New York. And we're having a drink and
- 8:59Speaker 1: so he doesn't know and get this guest is starting
- 9:02Speaker 1: to get a little bit frustrated. They said the weddings
- 9:05Speaker 1: in a few days. Would you go to a wedding
- 9:07Speaker 1: If a friend of yours invited you to a wedding
- 9:09Speaker 1: but didn't tell you where the wedding was, would you
- 9:11Speaker 1: go all this secrecy? It's just I think it's too much.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Enjoy your life. You're so rich, you can add the
- 9:18Speaker 1: best security. We knew. This is a really good example.
- 9:22Speaker 1: We knew what night and what time the Knicks were
- 9:25Speaker 1: playing in New York. They happened to be playing the
- 9:27Speaker 1: same venue, Madison Square Garden. They were perfectly safe, and
- 9:31Speaker 1: nobody got in without a ticket, and nobody snuck out
- 9:34Speaker 1: with anything they shouldn't. So if the Knicks can announce
- 9:38Speaker 1: their game, why can't Taylor just say I'm getting married
- 9:41Speaker 1: on Saturday. I don't get it. Why you would think
- 9:44Speaker 1: she'd done something bad. This is a wedding. This is
- 9:47Speaker 1: a good thing. This is something exciting. She's not meeting
- 9:51Speaker 1: with isis like she's getting married? Why damn? I missing something, Donnie?
- 9:57Speaker 1: Why the secrecy?
- 10:00Speaker 2: Oh? Hello, Hello, sloppy, sloppy, sloppy.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Sloppy, I see that's going along. Donnie's mike was not
- 10:07Speaker 1: working then, So while you were talking, I was trying
- 10:10Speaker 1: to not now you figured out sloppy slop? When did
- 10:14Speaker 1: you realize that I didn't listen to the last two minutes?
- 10:17Speaker 1: Did you tell a joke and I didn't laugh? Or
- 10:19Speaker 1: did you ask me a question? What did you do? Messy?
- 10:22Speaker 2: So here's the thing. It's Taylor's whip.
- 10:25Speaker 3: If she was to say I'm getting married on Saturday,
- 10:28Speaker 3: she would have three million swifties outside Madison Square.
- 10:31Speaker 1: What's wrong with that? Why not she couldn't get in that?
- 10:34Speaker 2: She would be able to get into her wedding.
- 10:35Speaker 1: There's a private entrance to that garden. Maybe maybe then
- 10:40Speaker 1: I'm going with you. Maybe the police, maybe the mayor
- 10:43Speaker 1: has said, please don't announce where you're getting married, because
- 10:46Speaker 1: we can't have that crowd control. Although I think at
- 10:50Speaker 1: the moment, if I was a swiftly, if I wanted
- 10:52Speaker 1: to go to the wedding, I'd go to the garden
- 10:55Speaker 1: where it's maybe they'll get two million? Is thead a three?
- 11:00Speaker 1: My friend Nicki Gostin is on a side, but this
- 11:01Speaker 1: week outside the garden, she's the best red carpet reporter
- 11:05Speaker 1: in the world. She's not good on her No, I
- 11:07Speaker 1: shouldn't say that. She's not used to doing a stakeout,
- 11:10Speaker 1: that's what we call them. So she's sitting outside the garden.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Can you imagine Nikky outside with a bottle of water
- 11:15Speaker 1: and a big hat on a dark sid glasses, just
- 11:17Speaker 1: filming any car that goes in or out of the garden.
- 11:20Speaker 1: She's filming, and then she's running the number plate through
- 11:23Speaker 1: her computer to try and figure it out. I love her.
- 11:25Speaker 1: If anyone's going to get to the bottom of this,
- 11:27Speaker 1: it's our friend Nikki. Okay, moving along? Oh question, do
- 11:30Speaker 1: I have to go back Donnie and edit out that
- 11:33Speaker 1: part where you were rattling on without your mic on?
- 11:35Speaker 1: Or can I just leave it in? Do you think
- 11:36Speaker 1: it will work? I don't know what you said you legally?
- 11:42Speaker 1: Will I get in trouble? Did you call me a name?
- 11:44Speaker 1: What did you say for two minutes? I saw your
- 11:46Speaker 1: mouth moving?
- 11:47Speaker 2: What did you talk to you about Taylor's wedding?
- 11:50Speaker 1: Good? Will you being a good boy? Will you being controversial?
- 11:54Speaker 1: You know what?
- 11:55Speaker 2: I will bet? I had the volume turned down.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Well, I think it's disgusting. I was shocked that you
- 12:00Speaker 1: did that. After all this is and you know why
- 12:02Speaker 1: you did it, because you've ordered yourself some lunch and
- 12:04Speaker 1: you opened up a little drinky poop, and you were
- 12:06Speaker 1: more focused on the drinky poo. Mm hmm, I can
- 12:09Speaker 1: see you. Okay, moving along. Kate Garslin has brushed off
- 12:13Speaker 1: her son Colin's lie detector request. Colin is playing her
- 12:18Speaker 1: get he learnt from the best. So Colin has decided
- 12:21Speaker 1: that his mom should take a lie detector test. He
- 12:23Speaker 1: has a memoir coming down. She has said it's all lies.
- 12:26Speaker 1: It's like prove it, coming to alight it. No, she's
- 12:28Speaker 1: not gonna do it, so she won't do this test.
- 12:31Speaker 1: I'm just obsessed with the pettiness. It is just so petty.
- 12:36Speaker 1: It is this fab I thought we'd see the last
- 12:38Speaker 1: of this Kate and eight. I really did. Don it's
- 12:41Speaker 1: never gonna end as it and the numbers of these stories.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I did a story on Kate yesterday, the best read
- 12:46Speaker 1: story of the day. People love reading about Kate Goslin.
- 12:51Speaker 1: I don't know if I do. I think I do.
- 12:53Speaker 1: I'm sort of interested in it. I will read the book.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Kate's not taking that light of it for first shade.
- 13:00Speaker 2: I'm not gonna lie.
- 13:01Speaker 3: When Kate plus eight or John and Kate plus eight
- 13:04Speaker 3: was on, I was obsessed, and then Kate plus eight
- 13:10Speaker 3: because John turned out to be we all thought was
- 13:14Speaker 3: a little shady devil, and then it comes to find
- 13:16Speaker 3: out it looks like Kate Kate. I remember even watching
- 13:22Speaker 3: it from a young kid, little Colin with those glasses.
- 13:26Speaker 2: I knew right away different he's from the jump. There
- 13:31Speaker 2: was something about.
- 13:33Speaker 1: He's gonna bring it down.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Always Kate would say something. He'd be like, no rest
- 13:40Speaker 2: of them fall online. He never fell in love.
- 13:42Speaker 1: That's right. My dog is going to do that to me,
- 13:44Speaker 1: my little doggie. I tell you, if all the doggies
- 13:47Speaker 1: I've had, he's the one that rolls his eyes. John,
- 13:49Speaker 1: if anyone would write a tell little book and you'd
- 13:52Speaker 1: be the first to buy it. Okay, quickly, before we
- 13:54Speaker 1: get break, what's going on with Max from Dancing with
- 13:56Speaker 1: the Stars. He's left California. What's happened? You know?
- 14:00Speaker 2: I love that I get the ones with the left names.
- 14:03Speaker 2: I cannot.
- 14:04Speaker 3: I gave this one to you, that dame from Dancing
- 14:09Speaker 3: with the Stars.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Sixteen years in the Los Angeles, they.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Packed up the left to move to Florida with their kids,
- 14:19Speaker 3: talking about a new.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Chapter, ready for a new let's be real.
- 14:23Speaker 3: Max didn't give resigned to dancing with stars.
- 14:27Speaker 2: So it's kind of hard to stay here when you're
- 14:29Speaker 2: not getting.
- 14:30Speaker 1: The expense the money m hm. And they're renting the
- 14:33Speaker 1: house act. I've seen a listing for their home eighteen
- 14:36Speaker 1: thousand a month to rent their hats. They're not selling
- 14:38Speaker 1: the house in La. What they're going to do is
- 14:40Speaker 1: take all that money and pay for the mortgage and
- 14:42Speaker 1: probably the house in Florida. My friend Piana did that.
- 14:45Speaker 1: She moved to Greece and she rented her house out
- 14:47Speaker 1: in LA for a lot of money and it pays
- 14:49Speaker 1: for her whole life. So good for them. But you're right.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Had he been resigned to Dancing with the stores, Twinkle
- 14:56Speaker 1: Turbs would still be in California. Okay, we're going to
- 14:59Speaker 1: take a quick break and we will be hopefully right back.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Welcome back to the Naughty but Nice or a sloppy
- 15:07Speaker 1: show today technically darning. We're all over the map. Okay,
- 15:11Speaker 1: let's get to the pole. The last show, Prince Harry,
- 15:15Speaker 1: we talked about Prince Harry refusing to give upon this
- 15:18Speaker 1: UK trip. He said he's still going to try and
- 15:20Speaker 1: find a way to make it happen. My question was
- 15:22Speaker 1: quite simple, will you find a solution. Can you find
- 15:25Speaker 1: a solution. Let's have a look. Oh said yes, most
- 15:31Speaker 1: of you think he can't if the solution security, it's
- 15:34Speaker 1: not happening. He can't change this. It's a government agency.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Not gonna happen. Okay, don't forget to vote on today's pole.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Were going to add Twitter page at Naughty Nice rob
- 15:44Speaker 1: Our facebook page is naughty Girls and be sure to
- 15:48Speaker 1: check back to Marah Water. Here your results. And now,
- 15:51Speaker 1: oh this makes me giggle. It's time for and nicest
- 15:55Speaker 1: of the day.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Real quickly. He jump on a plane, Get on a
- 16:00Speaker 2: plane and get over. You don't have to be like Taylor.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Don't tell them when you're coming.
- 16:05Speaker 1: They're not.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Nobody is staking out the what is it?
- 16:08Speaker 1: What is it?
- 16:08Speaker 2: He throw?
- 16:08Speaker 3: What airport's there? Nobody's steaking it out looking for you. Oh,
- 16:13Speaker 3: Harry crass me up a Will Ferrell, which I will
- 16:18Speaker 3: say there is only one actor who I irrationally don't
- 16:23Speaker 3: care for, and it's Will Ferrell.
- 16:25Speaker 2: I don't know why don't. And there's not a rational
- 16:28Speaker 2: reason for it.
- 16:29Speaker 1: There's just just the that's something. Let me just say
- 16:32Speaker 1: before you do it. I interviewed him. He was chiping.
- 16:35Speaker 1: He's probably nice, looks you in the eyes, really nice.
- 16:39Speaker 1: What has he done? This made him the nicest of
- 16:41Speaker 1: the day.
- 16:41Speaker 3: He has stripped down for a Skims campaign as The Hawk,
- 16:47Speaker 3: So he has a new Netflix series.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Speaking of Megan Markle Netflix.
- 16:53Speaker 3: At least Will Ferrell keeps his job ah the Hawk,
- 16:57Speaker 3: and he is in a skims campaign. And it's funny
- 17:01Speaker 3: that I can get because when you're in on.
- 17:03Speaker 1: That Kim has approved it, Like he's clearly not an
- 17:07Speaker 1: official Skims model. If you if you look at the
- 17:09Speaker 1: models that Kim's had, Hubba hubberhubber. I think Will just
- 17:13Speaker 1: makes me smile. Though I want you to like him, Donny,
- 17:15Speaker 1: have a look at him and his skims. He looks
- 17:17Speaker 1: really really funny and adorable. And I noticed it. Naughty, naughty,
- 17:20Speaker 1: naughty Blake, Lively, Blake, She's nice seeking eight million dollars
- 17:24Speaker 1: from Justin Bltonde. So she's askiven Justin BELTONI to pick
- 17:27Speaker 1: up her staggering legal expenses and according to court filings,
- 17:31Speaker 1: she wants eight million dollars now. The eye popping charges
- 17:34Speaker 1: include thousands of dollars in calls to her lawyers. She
- 17:38Speaker 1: was on one phone call for six minutes and it
- 17:39Speaker 1: was hundreds of thousands of dollars. She is all losing
- 17:43Speaker 1: or maybe she has lost the plot here, Blake, I
- 17:48Speaker 1: think I would just let this.
- 17:49Speaker 2: One, screams desperation.
- 17:51Speaker 3: At this point, it's not her public opinion, in her
- 17:57Speaker 3: public persona taking such a hit, yes.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Yeah, and it keeps taking it, and she keeps going
- 18:03Speaker 1: like she's all the job, She's learned nothing tone death. Okay,
- 18:08Speaker 1: let's end with her murmur of rob do it bad,
- 18:13Speaker 1: do it squared, but just do it so. Perfection is
- 18:16Speaker 1: the fastest way to get stuck. If you're looking for perfection,
- 18:20Speaker 1: it's never gonna happen. If you're waiting to be fearless,
- 18:23Speaker 1: then get ready to wait a really long time, because
- 18:25Speaker 1: you're always gonna have a little bit of fear. The
- 18:27Speaker 1: trick is just to start. Start anyway. Do it badly,
- 18:31Speaker 1: Do it while your hands are shaking, Do it while
- 18:34Speaker 1: your confidence wobbles. Every expert, every person you know who
- 18:37Speaker 1: is brilliant at something, started as a beginner, making mistakes,
- 18:41Speaker 1: making errors. But they're kept showing up. The first step
- 18:45Speaker 1: it won't be your last, but it will take you
- 18:48Speaker 1: to a second step, and a third step, and a
- 18:49Speaker 1: four step, and a better step and a better step.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Courage grows after you move, not before. You don't get
- 18:55Speaker 1: courage by sitting on your bottom. You get courage by
- 18:57Speaker 1: doing stuff and then doing it again and again and
- 19:01Speaker 1: again and again and again. I would like to say,
- 19:03Speaker 1: after five years that we got really good at this.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Although today's show was a disaster. It was a disaster,
- 19:09Speaker 1: but normally we've got well, we've got better. Let's not
- 19:12Speaker 1: say good. We've got better at this because we never
- 19:14Speaker 1: gave up. You've gotta keep doing it. If you want
- 19:18Speaker 1: to play the violin, you gotta play it every day.
- 19:20Speaker 1: If you want to be a great football player, you
- 19:22Speaker 1: gotta do it every day. If you want to get skinny, Eve,
- 19:24Speaker 1: then go to the gym every day, not once a month.
- 19:27Speaker 1: You gotta do it consistently, over and over and over again.
- 19:31Speaker 1: If you do that, I promise you, my friends, you
- 19:33Speaker 1: will get really really good at something. K that's eat
- 19:38Speaker 1: all today. Thank you so much for suffering through this
- 19:42Speaker 1: very tricky show. I hope it sounds better the final
- 19:44Speaker 1: results that it feels right now. Now we're gonna be fine.
- 19:47Speaker 1: We're gonna be fine. I'm Rob Shooter. That is Donny
- 19:50Speaker 1: Leechen and we are the Naughty, But then I show
- 19:52Speaker 1: a production of iHeart Radio and Elvis Durant. Don't forget
- 19:55Speaker 1: to follow me on substack robshooter dot substack dot com.
- 19:57Speaker 1: I don't know if you know this, Donny. My novel's
- 19:59Speaker 1: actually book. It started I have a book. It started
- 20:02Speaker 1: with your monster. It started with a whisper. It's available
- 20:06Speaker 1: right now. And remember all together now, let me hear
- 20:09Speaker 1: your singing along. If you're going to renat, you've got
- 20:16Speaker 1: take care of everybody. But nice with bro
