- 0:00Better rock better talk damn radio This is international flavor that you're on
- 0:07damn radio.
- 0:07It is officially nine o'clock chicaga time and Here we are just like we
- 0:15are every night.
- 0:16Uh I've been pondering You ever ponder you ever just sit around and ponder?
- 0:22I ponder uh, probably too much pondering in my life.
- 0:26I wanted to give you some news about a Pretty cool lawsuit that's going to
- 0:32be going down And underway, but I won't do it until I have confirmation of
- 0:38it And I do not have confirmation of it as of yet And as soon
- 0:44as I expected it by this afternoon But I did not get it.
- 0:48I did not see it yet hit the docket.
- 0:52And so therefore I shall not repeat in case that there is something has changed
- 0:58that I am unaware of Uh, so but I will be all too happy to
- 1:03speak about it In the coming days.
- 1:07We're already where are we?
- 1:09We're already to farging tuesday.
- 1:11You do realize what that means by the way What that means is that you
- 1:16are on the eve of?
- 1:19the biggest day in radio The biggest day in radio starts tomorrow morning Here
- 1:27on damn radio and you can follow along at damn radio.com forward slash live

- 1:52you're allowed to do that and you're allowed to hear all the other shows
- 1:56International flavor is kind of only me.
- 1:58Um, I have a russian version as well called But in english that is
- 2:03international flavor and then it says international flavor russian.podbean.com
- 2:09And uh, but you can just go to internationalflavor.com and hear all of my
- 2:13shows but I wanted to talk some today About this lawsuit and about the horror
- 2:19stories once again Government doing what government does best out targeting
- 2:25people And I dislike that Just the concept of it pisses me off Because that's
- 2:33not what government was meant for, you know government is meant to um Prevent
- 2:40war government is meant to Guard the border government is meant to Manage small
- 2:48disputes between you and your neighbor.
- 2:50It's not Intended to attack you government is not your your you know
- 2:58government, uh Untouchables able to come and destroy other people because They
- 3:06control the apparatus of the state people have been fighting for this for
- 3:10hundreds of years People have been arguing about this concept and about how
- 3:14government is not supposed to do this Um, you can't argue with a king, right?
- 3:20Trouble is is we got a million kings.
- 3:22We got a Got a government workforce of a million people all of them think
- 3:27they're king So now instead of fighting one king we're fighting a million.
- 3:32So if you find one that likes to target you You got problems.
- 3:35Um And i'm getting my lawsuit ready against the missouri bar like I said too
- 3:41but that one Um is not the one i'm talking about even now Uh, that
- 3:46is the one that i'm gonna speak to you about a little bit and I
- 3:49told you I think I might have Even mentioned it last night, but I don't
- 3:52know.
- 3:52I was a little punchy last night.
- 3:53Um Never sleep and I was on a bad day.
- 3:57Um, that's that's you know, that's really a frustrating thing in your life I
- 4:01don't know if there's people in life that don't sleep like I do It's just
- 4:06a horrid horror story of existence Sometimes you just all you want to do is
- 4:12sleep and your eyes are burning and they're they're uh, I don't know sandy and
- 4:16gravelly and you you feel like you can't hold them open and then you get
- 4:20in bed.
- 4:21No Oh wide awake It's freaking irritating your eyes still hurt.
- 4:26The the stress is still there the from not sleeping but nothing Nothing friends
- 4:34and neighbors if you don't call and talk about that i'd be happy to you
- 4:37know Commiserate with somebody because I guarantee you i've got some bad sleep
- 4:42habits um And if you felt like doing that, uh, five seven three seven four
- 4:48six eighty twenty If you choose to so engage I listen to uh, my friend,
- 4:56uh, alex christopher, I got a lot of topics to talk about I have Probably
- 5:0045 tabs pulled up here and you know me i'll get to maybe half of
- 5:04them and a lot of it has to do with the Summit, you know, everybody
- 5:11has to keep that summit for That summit for Friday in alaska front and center
- 5:21there.
- 5:22There's all kinds of efforts to try to uh, Um Tank it to sabotage it
- 5:28notably a lot of them coming from europe, uh, of course Zelensky, you know,
- 5:34there's uh, my friend alex in his uh initial start of the story he uh
- 5:40He had zelensky the z monster on stage in ukraine on we ukraine tv uh
- 5:51and He's sitting on a stage in his typical get up and he Is telling
- 6:00people that you know, donald trump can't solve this war and uh, let's let's We
- 6:07may listen in for a little bit today, but I didn't set any time stamps
- 6:11on him And there were a couple of uh, very very critical in my opinion
- 6:19pieces, I always recommend that uh People listen to alex Christoforou, um is
- 6:27his name and you can see him see his shows every day he does like
- 6:32a I don't know 40 to 45 minute show And I get to watch it
- 6:39probably At least two three times a week because I like catching him and on
- 6:43the big days I'll always try to go get in this thing.
- 6:47He put up eight hours ago.
- 6:48He's got 72 000 views he's got plenty of people checking out his his uh
- 6:56Channel there and a lot of people listening to him, which is a a big
- 7:00plus, right?
- 7:02And you know, that's uh good for him more power to him.
- 7:06But on top of that he's Generally been right.
- 7:10So if you get a chance to You know, I say generally it's because I
- 7:15don't know of any there are things I disagree with him on But I don't
- 7:18know whether ultimately they were right or not They're they're different
- 7:21approaches that he takes but he but he usually comes in pretty good Anyway,
- 7:25alex christoforou decent channel.
- 7:28I may play a bit of him today if I can find the part that
- 7:31I wanted to talk about um But especially on the on the beginning side may
- 7:38play a little bit of that and all the other news today is about Not
- 7:44all the other news but uh, there's been some huge losses but here we are
- 7:51On international flavor where the truth just tastes better by the way and you
- 7:58know, we're gonna talk about the uh What what what efforts they're trying to
- 8:04get everybody now part of it's trump himself by the way because Today whether
- 8:10he's already no, he hasn't done it today I don't remember but it's coming up
- 8:14either tomorrow or he did it today.
- 8:16I'm not sure but he's supposed to And I don't like this.
- 8:20I think this is foolish.
- 8:22This is what happens every time and it just it just Messes thing up things
- 8:27up.
- 8:28So what he's gonna do is Who's he gonna talk to?
- 8:33He's gonna talk to his alleged, uh allies, you know these people in europe.
- 8:38They're not his allies They're placating him as what's going on and he wants to
- 8:46talk to them and coordinate as it were before, uh, the Uh meeting the historic
- 8:54meeting.
- 8:55It's only historic because biden didn't do a blessed thing Otherwise, this
- 8:59wouldn't be historic at all.
- 9:01This would be a regular meeting between two normal people Do you know that uh,
- 9:06xi jingping and putin meet every year probably twice.
- 9:09I think they have every year putin goes to china uh and uh Xi jingping
- 9:14comes to moscow and they usually coordinate, uh with the um With the war
- 9:20memorial like xi jingping was there for the 80th anniversary of uh, vlika
- 9:25tiechestvenaya the uh, uh, uh, great patriotic war and uh, uh and putin is
- 9:33going to uh, China for there if it's already it might have already happened
- 9:38already.
- 9:38I forget the day that they celebrate the same thing I don't I honestly don't
- 9:42remember but I know that the intent was for them to swap 80 year victories
- 9:47because china's is later in the year and russia's was back in may and uh,
- 9:53so Uh, I you know, they're gonna do it.
- 9:56But why is it such a big deal?
- 9:57It's a big deal because we haven't done anything, you know, our our diplomacy
- 10:01is crap Our diplomacy is for shit.
- 10:07Pardon my french, but it's uh, it's not good Uh, let's let's talk about what
- 10:12do we got?
- 10:13Um trump and putin are set to meet face to face for the first time
- 10:17since the old trumpster came back into office But why does this meeting matter?
- 10:21I mean remember I told you yesterday a little bit about why this uh, Well
- 10:26because depending on who you ask Depending on where you get your news You know,
- 10:33it could be the beginning of the end of the war in ukraine Or just
- 10:39another photo op doomed to failure because uh, You know, they're gonna twist it
- 10:45and that is what?
- 10:47The european likes are looking for that is what the z-man is looking for.
- 10:53There's stories about him putting up some provocations to uh, Uh, make sure
- 10:59that happens Um, there are people that are ready to trash it.
- 11:03I have a good opinion piece i'd like to get to tonight if at all
- 11:06possible That uh tells you uh the points of view on that and it's really
- 11:10not all that long So I think I can get to it and uh But
- 11:16I got my own Trepidations I got my own Thought process on this and why
- 11:24I don't think that it Maybe it won't Be successful.
- 11:29I really hope it is and I have plenty to be Positive Positive about and
- 11:36it's really not positive.
- 11:37It's horror story Did you know that there are stories out there in the last
- 11:42couple of weeks now?
- 11:44We all knew and in fact, this was reported by ukrainian mps Last year before
- 11:50the end of the year that they had already said that there were more than
- 11:55a hundred thousand ukrainian soldiers who had deserted Abandoned run away Taken
- 12:06off and have abandoned are guilty of uh, Uh going AWOL during wartime
- 12:14treasonous Type activities and escaping and running away and we're not just
- 12:19talking those subject to mobilization.
- 12:21Those are the people Already on the front lines who have left Okay And they
- 12:26say uh, there was another article in this past week that said that another
- 12:30hundred thousand Just this year Have done the same thing and with what has
- 12:39happened in the last 48 hours both in ukraine on the ukrainian side and the
- 12:46uh russian side they say the uh Uh, even though a potential deal is emerging
- 12:54that the front lines are Collapsing.
- 12:58In fact, it was a ukrainian uh military man former general or colonel or
- 13:04something i'll get to him too tonight that's saying that Uh, whatever they're
- 13:10reporting to you They're president zelensky.
- 13:14They aren't telling you the truth because the lines are collapsing the people
- 13:18are running Russia has gained i'd like to get to those numbers with Another guy
- 13:23that I listened to on the military summary channel, and i'll try to find those.
- 13:28Oh see if I can get those numbers together for you because uh ukraine is
- 13:34losing their butts and there's talk of another uh Diversion of some sort let's
- 13:40go into kursk.
- 13:41Let's go into bryansk.
- 13:42Let's go into belgrade Let's go into some city like that.
- 13:46Let's attack some airplanes in in uh, you know far into I don't know where
- 13:50vladivostok You know, let's let's attack some russia russia with some drones or
- 13:56anything anything to take the attention away From the fact that ukraine is
- 14:01losing and trump is gonna force him to take a deal if that's what you
- 14:04believe You know, which is which is possible that uh, uh, that could be another
- 14:10one Okay, but they do say that the outlines of a potential deal or emergency
- 14:14the telegraph says zelensky May be softening.
- 14:19I think the pressure might be getting to they say he's agreeing to freeze the
- 14:24current front lines seed claims to donetsk lugansk and crimea in exchange for
- 14:30western security guarantees and a path toward nato Okay, i'm not so sure what I
- 14:38think about that.
- 14:39I I it it has a big You know, you take off the nato Maybe
- 14:44but these security guarantees.
- 14:47What does it mean?
- 14:49Better security guarantees than a path or membership in nato because russia
- 14:55won't take it and then security guarantees If both the us and the uh, if
- 14:59it's not nato if it's the us and russia guaranteeing security I may be able
- 15:06to Get behind something like that They say, you know something along the lines
- 15:12of the uh budapest accords from long ago when they gave up the nuclear weapons,
- 15:17which uh The ukrainians all like to throw in your face and go.
- 15:21Oh, no, the us is supposed to give us.
- 15:23Uh Guarantees.
- 15:25No, that's in the event of a nuclear.
- 15:27Uh Event of some sort when you gave up your nuclear weapons that you would
- 15:32be covered by the nuclear arms of Either russia or the united states and the
- 15:39intent was and not intent but the presumption Sort of was that at that time
- 15:45it would be the russian side because that's what you were giving up in 1991
- 15:51Or whatever it was That you gave up these weapons, right?
- 15:55But in 30 years ukraine has been just a vast failure.
- 16:00They've sucked the uh Mammary glands of the united states and the west for you
- 16:06know, and there's a lot of rich ukrainians Because people are trying to buy
- 16:11everything they can in ukraine and there's a good number of rich ones who
- 16:15profited Handsomely for selling out their country.
- 16:19There's a bunch of them And that's same is true in russia and most eastern
- 16:25Uh, you know most former Warsaw pact countries we bought them out And to some
- 16:32extent it's still going on.
- 16:34That's not part of the story tonight.
- 16:36But uh If if in public zelensky, of course rejects any territory given up but
- 16:43behind the scenes His options are shrinking, especially if the old trumpster
- 16:48stays firm the eu is split we have people like Kaya callous Demanding no
- 16:55concessions while orban and I want to get to that story because orban's just
- 16:59funny.
- 16:59I like listening to him He says russia's already won And the west should face
- 17:04reality And he says that if we just used Ukraine, well, everybody knows that
- 17:10but thanks for somebody finally standing up and pointing that out Meanwhile,
- 17:14the white house confirms anchorage Uh trump says that he gets to go to russia
- 17:20Uh two leaders one of them extremely unpredictable, that's the old trumpster a
- 17:27war that's uh I don't know that it's grinding anymore.
- 17:31I think it's more of a route that a route is occurring especially after what
- 17:38I watched and now openly even some military sources military news sources
- 17:45anyway in the west are Are even saying oh my god, they're they're they're
- 17:51running Russia has uh, literally, uh, I heard numbers today that they have 15
- 17:57000 ukrainian soldiers Surrounded in pokrovsk and now they've cut off the
- 18:02railways.
- 18:03They've cut off two roads out of three coming in and they're about to close
- 18:07the circle close the fist and if they do those 15 000 are just They're
- 18:13done and pokrovsk is gone.
- 18:15Meanwhile.
- 18:16They're pushing Pretty they I forget the number of kilometers.
- 18:20I'll try to find the clip for you If I can that'll play it for
- 18:24you, but I tell you what there's a whole lot of players on these sidelines
- 18:28Lindsey graham.
- 18:29You haven't heard anything from him like we talked about last night, but uh, I
- 18:35don't know you you you wonder if he's finally uh, you know Blown the wad,
- 18:41you know, he bet it all on black 17 just like I do And the
- 18:45number came up, uh, you know The one right next to it red five Or
- 18:52red 20, which is instead and that's what you got.
- 18:56Of course.
- 18:56I always bet on all five of those numbers Starting with 17 And if i'm
- 19:01gonna play some roulette i'm at least gonna buy a chunk of the wheel, you
- 19:05know what I mean?
- 19:06um and and and so instead of just Improve is it raining again?
- 19:13I'm sure we get our daily rain in florida and Here we are.
- 19:19Somebody said there was a hurricane hurricane coming Stand fast and secure
- 19:26those riggings I've never done that before but I heard that in some uh, uh
- 19:32cartoon one time Popeye was it maybe who knows but uh at any rate we
- 19:38get in our rain here and allegedly The first tropical depression of the season
- 19:43is uh out east and headed for florida Not sure.
- 19:49I like that.
- 19:50But uh, well, we'll keep uh, we'll keep an eye on it All I know
- 19:54is it rains hard here and when it does rain hard Sometimes my ip telephone
- 19:59goes on the fritz So far, it doesn't affect my internet all the time, but
- 20:04the ip telephone takes a beating that's for damn sure uh, just for grins, let
- 20:12us Uh, see if we can get to the first couple of minutes of alex's
- 20:18show Um, no, I want to get to where he was a chat Uh especially
- 20:28in donetsk saying so in the areas surrounding pokrosk The russians are Beating
- 20:41the snot out of the uh, ukrainian forces everywhere Everywhere, uh, you know,
- 20:49i'm really afraid to start the clip because i'm not in the right spot Uh,
- 20:53here it is here.
- 20:55Let's let's see if this works.
- 20:56We're gonna try it out Okay, I think I may have found it just you
- 21:00know, even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes Here we go Let's see, I
- 21:06might have to play with it 10 seconds back 10 seconds forward and we'll see
- 21:10Has been de facto surrounded by russian troops while konstantinovka is facing
- 21:16semi-encirclement.
- 21:17He claimed the ex-azov commander Shared a map reporting to show the situation
- 21:22in the area which corroborates media reports of a major russian breakthrough To
- 21:27the north of pokrosk that emerged earlier in the day.
- 21:31Yeah pokrosk is collapsing man pokrosk konstantinovka It's collapsing fast.
- 21:36Russia's gonna gonna capture this area very quick It's going to provide putin
- 21:43with some good, uh good leverage Not that he needs any but it'll provide putin
- 21:49with even more leverage As he heads into the the talks in alaska on friday
- 21:56So here's a map which uh gives you A look at the at the situation
- 22:03in pokrosk You can see the russian breakthrough the arrows show that uh But the
- 22:15russians continue It's a hell of a breakthrough too, by the way konstantinovka
- 22:20kramatorsk.
- 22:21Dobropolia and uh pokrosk all surrounded And it's not good and his map doesn't
- 22:28even show some of the other ones i've seen On telegram and some of the
- 22:33they're saying the russians have gained um Man, I wish I could remember the
- 22:38numbers.
- 22:39I want to say 500 square kilometers in the last week And they are kicking
- 22:45the snot out of them and they are and the ukrainians are run away run
- 22:50away Uh, there was a story that I saw today that said so the azov
- 22:55brigades Do you remember that name from when this war first started?
- 22:58Uh, so the azov brigades are the ones that are the highly nationalized national
- 23:04guard forces and a lot of people think uh Think no, whatever you want to
- 23:11call about it, but I don't Know this to be true.
- 23:14All I know is that the azov brigades have The ss symbol the german ss
- 23:23symbol is their unit insignia and so in the konstantinovka area russia Has
- 23:32pushed back and there's a big reservoir in that area and in the konstantinovka
- 23:38area.
- 23:38There's uh, A large group of azov that one of the azov brigades is there
- 23:44that they were moved there um They usually move the azov brigades because
- 23:49they're highly national highly motivated very well funded They get all the
- 23:54money and a lot of people say that these are the people That zelensky is
- 23:59frightened of like these azov brigades.
- 24:01And so the story that I heard today was that these So they got pushed
- 24:09out of konstantinovka Between konstantinovka and this uh Reservoir very large
- 24:16reservoir that I don't remember the name of but right in that area And so
- 24:20they're crushed up against it and they went around it So the brigade's still in
- 24:24konstantinovka area, but they're on the retreat slowly fighting hard You know
- 24:29that kind of thing meanwhile pokrovsk, which is to the west and south a little
- 24:33bit dobropol is is uh, just west of there and the uh The story that
- 24:41I heard is So the ukrainian units are being routed and they're running they're
- 24:46especially right now think about this Somebody tells you that uh, grandpa trump
- 24:51is going to bring you, you know, christmas presents, uh early And bring you
- 24:57peace plan in from alaska And he's going to fly in on a sleigh and
- 25:01pass out goodies and uh, you're going to be sent home from the war Why
- 25:08would you stand on the front lines and and get your ass kicked and die
- 25:11a lot of people there's a lot to be Said about that.
- 25:14So imagine yourself a soldier on the front lines who's been it has no, uh
- 25:20no prospects of uh no prospects of Replacement no prospects of rotating out,
- 25:29you know, you're not gonna it's not like you're doing a year and leaving It's
- 25:33not like you have something small you're there from start to finish you're not
- 25:37gonna have any uh, gee I need some Some leave I gotta go home and
- 25:42see my wife, you know, I gotta go home and see my kids that crap
- 25:45ain't happening They aren't getting any Any sort of that unless you're the very
- 25:51well-funded as of and stuff like that So these people are running away run
- 25:55away just like in monty python.
- 25:57They're they're taking off and uh, against that evil rabbit uh The rabbit is
- 26:04the russian armed forces and they're coming out to get them and they are
- 26:07pushing them back and the russian army Is motivated as well supplied as well
- 26:12trained and they're a professional military force the ukrainian force You know
- 26:17i've given several lectures on this part many many months ago and I haven't
- 26:21done one recently But we should probably do another one before too long because
- 26:25there's just nobody left and the average age of these soldiers is is 15 years
- 26:31older than they are on the on the russian side.
- 26:34So therefore Their their their average age was 47 Back then it's probably worse
- 26:40now Um, none of their their stories trump was telling stories about them trying
- 26:46to recruit 16 year olds To pay them some money and get them to go
- 26:50Wouldn't you like to be a 35 year old soldier going out against a bunch
- 26:54of 60 16 year olds?
- 26:56If they're doing that that is freaking foolish Anyway, i've got sidetracked
- 27:01that sidetracked myself so this azov brigade is uh They don't use them except
- 27:09for I don't know what high profile Vic they they want to if there's going
- 27:18to be a victory it's got to be these National azov brigades, right?
- 27:22We got to show them as kicking the crap out of them Well, the story
- 27:26goes that since the ukrainians are all running away They're going to reposition
- 27:33the force Retreat it from konstantinovka and kramatorsk around dobropolia and
- 27:42Bring them up against the only retreat avenue where these 15 Thousand that are
- 27:47surrounded in pokrovsk by the russian forces.
- 27:50The only way they can retreat Is through a very small they say it's less
- 27:57than right now less than 10 kilometers To get out 15 000 people and nobody's
- 28:04letting them retreat And so how you prevent them from retreating now is you put
- 28:10the azovs behind them?
- 28:12Because the azovs will kill you themselves Is the popular?
- 28:17Uh theory and there's plenty to back that up by the way on telegram they've
- 28:22done it before you know, they they've they they These are the people who held
- 28:28the that cement factory or whatever it was in uh Where was that?
- 28:35Wasn't was it wasn't my dad and I forget where but they held these are
- 28:39the azovs who uh, Were killing the you know killing people that retreat they're
- 28:43killing their own You're not going to reach well, you know if you're going to
- 28:46retreat you're dead already here's your bullet You know, uh that that is the
- 28:52story going around And that's a terrible story if true, but it wouldn't
- 28:57surprise me.
- 28:58Let's put it that way so Against this backdrop and all of the crap that
- 29:04is going on right now It's it's pretty Bleak For the ukrainians and and uh,
- 29:13you know, the russian ministry of defense says that ukraine in keeping with
- 29:19that Is preparing a false flag attack in kharkov?
- 29:24Right specifically in the city of chuguev to derail the peace talks in
- 29:30anchorage Their claim that ukrainian forces plan to strike a densely populated
- 29:36civilian area or hospital Using drones and missiles and we're talking about
- 29:42their own densely populated A civilian area or hospital and there's going to be
- 29:49western journalists already on site to capture the aftermath Moscow says the
- 29:55goal is simple that they're hearing talks about this and the goal is simple
- 29:59Inflame public opinion in the west again box trump into a hardline stance and
- 30:05collapse peace talks before they begin Kiv calls this of course Russian
- 30:11disinformation a preemptive excuse for russia's own strikes, right?
- 30:16Western outlets like bbc and reuters note that the allegations are Unproven,
- 30:22but the timing would make any major civilian casualty Uh, you know grouping
- 30:28very explosive Turkish media is reporting that members of zelensky's inner
- 30:33circle Are moving 50 million dollars a month To uae linked companies tied to a
- 30:42former state property official under international arrest for corruption A
- 30:48separate ukrainian mp's claim about a blocked five billion dollar crypto
- 30:53laundering scheme adds to this corruption narrative, so my point in adding that
- 30:58is Why wouldn't they if this is what you're hiding?
- 31:03If you're hiding the gravy train, I mean, what's a what's a another?
- 31:08Huge loss of civilian life somewhere that you get a bomb out and switch the
- 31:13narrative america's done it before I hate to admit it, but we have you know
- 31:20Wonder what this would do if we people don't want to talk about this corruption
- 31:24narrative They want to change the track.
- 31:27We don't want to weaken kiv's moral leverage ahead of anchorage if we are uh
- 31:32people from Kiev and from europe, right?
- 31:37For anchorage perception is the ammunition if the headlines before friday Are
- 31:43russia's killing civilians?
- 31:45Putin loses room to maneuver.
- 31:47So does trump if they say ukrainian corruption scandal instead Leverage is
- 31:55going the other direction, isn't it?
- 31:57Isn't it?
- 31:59Trump is hinting at land swaps hinting.
- 32:01He's being flat out about it I suppose it's not much of a hint when
- 32:05you go get ready for some land swapping Nobody knows what the land swap feed
- 32:10is But uh, so what does that mean?
- 32:12Does that mean russia keeps crimea dinesh khalid god separation her son that it
- 32:16already controls?
- 32:19Or do they got to give something back Ukraine keeps its current holdings and
- 32:24gets a pathway to nato I don't know NATO membership is going to be an
- 32:29extremely hard sell it requires by the way unanimous NATO member approval and a
- 32:37country that's brought in at war would drag the entire alliance into a direct
- 32:41conflict So the compromise is a nato light argument, right western weapons
- 32:48joint exercises air defense coverage, but no article 5 You know no trigger For
- 32:55moscow even that is probably unacceptable Ukraine and nato on in any form Is a
- 33:02red line.
- 33:03What would the middle ground be?
- 33:05demilitarized zones maybe entry back into force of some Intermediate range
- 33:12nuclear forces treaty of some sort maybe phased security guarantees of some
- 33:17sort the uh eu's, uh, and Lindsey graham tyke remember hawk what total
- 33:25ukrainian restoration that's never going to happen Orban and others say that is
- 33:30fantasy I'm, one of those others and russia has already won.
- 33:35That's those are orban's words The biggest european fear washington cuts a
- 33:40bilateral deal with russia Leaves brussels as an afterthought in the already
- 33:48weak eu Anchorage isn't just about ukraine's borders.
- 33:53Is it?
- 33:54It's about who writes the rules for europe in the next decade, right?
- 34:01Then we want to talk about the battlefield reality check I was already telling
- 34:06you about these asaf brigades This guy bogdan krotovic is the former as of
- 34:12brigade commander And he warns that prokrovskonstantinovka line Has effectively
- 34:19ceased to exist and that pokrovsk is surrounded Konstantinovka is semi
- 34:26-encircled morale is low reserves are thin And draft resistance is surging
- 34:33Meanwhile, russia is having steady gains and is exploiting gaps with armor and
- 34:38utility the artillery and uh Uav drones are beating the crap out of them with
- 34:45the uav drones New york times is reporting that late russian strikes in july
- 34:51killed 15 foreign fighters.
- 34:55I want to share that entire story with you I uh at a ukrainian training
- 35:01camp and wounded a hundred more These are americans Colombians danish and even
- 35:08fighters from taiwan every loss before anchorage If russia keeps running for
- 35:15two more days Kiev's negotiating hand gets weaker and weaker all the uh, all
- 35:22the aces are in uh, russia's hands aren't they trump Uh, you know, the front
- 35:29line is more than just a map It's a bargaining chip and it's a scary
- 35:35one, you know the the the lines of russia moving forward has been huge in
- 35:42the last week And let's talk about the long game for just a minute, right
- 35:48the financial times Says that europe's arms plants have grown three times
- 35:54faster since 2022 Seven million square meters of new production space from
- 36:01rheinmetall in hungary to uh mbda in germany These factories are starting to
- 36:09come online The leaders frame it as deterrence against russian aggression And
- 36:15moscow calls it proof that the west is really preparing for a real war Even
- 36:22with a ceasefire these factories will keep on producing Contracts are signed
- 36:28jobs are tied to weapons orders and the political class is investing in War,
- 36:35that's what they're doing.
- 36:37This is why some analysts call any post-summit post-summit settlement a frozen
- 36:43conflict they say a piece on paper in other words But war readiness is really
- 36:50what's going on They want to regroup so they can you know attempt to kick
- 36:55the crap out of russia again in a few years Remember, that's the goal.
- 36:59Whatever the goal is.
- 37:01It's to get russia to uh to stand down And remember that's big picture stuff.
- 37:09Okay, so whatever happens the alaska, uh talks Uh, they're in a world where
- 37:15alliances everywhere are shifting the world is changing It's a big deal russia
- 37:21and uae now have hit 11.8 billion in trade last year nearly double what
- 37:30they were, uh the year before um, moscow and Abu dhabi are collaborating on
- 37:37energy defense and even space india and china are resuming direct flights
- 37:43That's a huge deal and they're deepening bricks ties Even as all of these
- 37:50Countries are facing u.s tariffs because they import oil from russia, right?
- 37:57the multipolar world is in motion No matter what comes out of anchorage It'll
- 38:05be shaped and diluted By the fact that europe is no longer the only major
- 38:12theater If putin and trump strike a deal The question isn't just what it says
- 38:20But who's listening?
- 38:22And where?
- 38:23Does it stabilize?
- 38:25the world now Or does it accelerate?
- 38:29a new world order shift That is already occurring That is an important question
- 38:37And I think it's an important question to think about even on your own You
- 38:43know, and I hope we've laid that out.
- 38:45Well, you know, I still think there's probably something Between Trump and
- 38:52putin because I think and trump hasn't mentioned it a whole lot later I should
- 38:57probably ask my friend jr because he listens to him religiously and knows
- 39:00everything and uh pays attention to it all but I uh read a lot of
- 39:07international stuff and I get I get a lot of trump direct from himself, but
- 39:11I also Focus more in other places.
- 39:14I wonder if there's been any real news recently on the old trumpster and our
- 39:24arctic movements whatever happened to where we're taking panama back or we're
- 39:30uh You know gonna rob you of greenland.
- 39:34Uh, denmark.
- 39:36We're taking it back and uh, uh And alaska we improved our we took the
- 39:42shelf so we could say those are all our resources The alaskan shelf which was
- 39:47never part of it before we've uh Said that it is now Sorry, this is
- 39:54ours.
- 39:54We've told canada to get their poop in a group so that we can uh,
- 39:59Start to do something bigger in the arctic circle Uh, there was another article
- 40:04that said uh ice in the arctic circle is melting Faster this year.
- 40:09I don't know if that's you know more Global warming bs or if it's something
- 40:16You know reality Uh, I don't know what to believe when it comes to that
- 40:20stuff.
- 40:20I've heard lies about it for so long who the hell knows um, and i've
- 40:24always believed that um, it's a cyclical thing that you know, you go through
- 40:29you go through hundreds of years of uh, Of warmer temperatures and then they'll
- 40:34go down one huge volcano.
- 40:36Oh, it's coming down You know and maybe we're just coming off of that.
- 40:41I don't know but uh, that is possible.
- 40:45Um before I uh moved on to a So I still got all of my
- 40:50tabs pulled up on top and I went A little longer than I intended to
- 40:55on my free babble.
- 40:57Let's call it that Sam's free babble session went a little longer than I
- 41:02thought.
- 41:03I usually only babble for about a uh or try to only babble for about
- 41:09a half an hour, but uh, I I went a little further than I uh
- 41:14usually do today to get uh to get through in this In this good time
- 41:20period but this is going to be there's I want to get to that opinion
- 41:25piece For sure, so I may just go ahead And uh, and I also want
- 41:31to get to zelensky's dangerous games, you know Um, let's get to the short
- 41:38opinion piece Usually these opinion pieces are a hell of a lot longer than they
- 41:44are and this one's not so The problem with the future You know is that
- 41:53It is unpredictable and inescapable You can never know with certainty what
- 41:58tomorrow will bring but you have to prepare for it.
- 42:01Nevertheless.
- 42:02Yes This may seem trivial But it remains a great challenge You know, do you
- 42:09stock your basement full of food and then live in the basement need it all
- 42:13whether you get a whether you get a A reason to or not I don't
- 42:19know Consider the current international reaction to the scheduled summit
- 42:23between putin and trump The announcement of the meeting Later specified to be
- 42:31in alaska on august 15th was a surprise, but then again was it viewed against
- 42:38the background of trump's long-standing signaling of respect for russia as well
- 42:43in an interest in relationship normalization between moscow and washington It
- 42:50really is probably the culmination of a messy but real trend, you know the
- 42:56russian and the u.s Ultimately will probably be working together.
- 43:02Don't you think in at some level?
- 43:06Things the world's changing and I think trump if anything has been clear that
- 43:13You know, he doesn't want this war in ukraine to damage that possibility Now
- 43:21he's been wishy-washy about it.
- 43:23You know, he in my opinion he could have but maybe i'm uh slightly biased
- 43:28because uh, i'm not the The the typical american who may not know anything
- 43:34about what you know, what's going on?
- 43:36But at any rate within the short-term context of recent american turn against
- 43:41russia It was another evidence of proof that trump can be hard to predict While
- 43:48some observers believe the latest american zig To be the last one others full
- 43:55disclosure including the author of this article Argue that another zag is
- 44:01possible I believe i've said the same thing that trump has gone whoever he
- 44:06talks to next and if he talks to these people in europe Tomorrow and the
- 44:10next day or anytime before friday, he could go in there and you know You
- 44:15know put a hand grenade on the peace process himself, you know, because I think
- 44:19we already know what what?
- 44:21Putin is going to say same thing.
- 44:23He's been saying since 2007 In the big picture and then the same thing he's
- 44:29been saying for three and a half four years on the ukraine picture or since
- 44:332014 Anyway on the ukraine picture and here we are It is true that rt
- 44:40editor-in-chief margarita simonyan Dares not predict the summit's outcome or
- 44:47even whether it will really take place That was an interesting article Uh,
- 44:54meanwhile russian deputy foreign minister sergey ribkov has warned that we are
- 44:58still far from a new peace Yet there is no denying that at least for
- 45:02now.
- 45:03We are not where we were during the preceding biden administration either
- 45:08Namely in a hopeless dead end of escalating yet failing western proxy war
- 45:13flanked by the literal anti-diplomacy that is An obstinate refusal to
- 45:20communicate That has been perversely elevated to the rank of foreign policy
- 45:26This is nonsense and i've been complaining about that for years For now, it is
- 45:33impossible to predict where we go from here once and if the summit in alaska
- 45:37takes place And hopefully a follow-up meeting in russia as well We will finally
- 45:42have left the bloody and dangerous stagnation that was produced by firstly The
- 45:47west permitting kiev to sabotage the 2015 minks 2 agreement Then the
- 45:53stonewalling of moscow's last chance negotiation officer in late 2021 and later
- 46:00Bojo's boris johnson's Nixing of an almost peace in april 22 Or will we be
- 46:08again disappointed and face more of the same?
- 46:12An ongoing western proxy war against russia through ukraine or even worse Will
- 46:19trump come out of that meeting saying saying well looks like it's sanctions.
- 46:23He's not listening He's not listening to what i'm telling him to do and that's
- 46:26that That means time for more sanction more so sanctions aren't going to help
- 46:31even if you do them, but you know, whatever, you know, I I I Sadly
- 46:37for me and this isn't part of this.
- 46:38Uh this uh opinion piece i'm reading sadly for me I think that's almost as
- 46:44Just as likely as not Anyway, one thing is clear.
- 46:50However an end to the fighting and a halfway decent settlement Would be good
- 46:55news not only for ukraine, but for the rest of the world including nato and
- 47:01eu europe that currently is or pretends to be Ready to spoil a quick end
- 47:08to the slaughter in ukraine Um When I practiced law the statement was always
- 47:15this and what I would tell my clients before Uh, there were people I remember
- 47:19one of my uh, there was a jury trial I lost Oh, that was terrible.
- 47:25I lost this jury trial and uh, I was I was I was gonna kick
- 47:31some ass.
- 47:32I didn't lose I won the jury trial But I lost as i'll explain to
- 47:36you why I actually won But it wasn't a victory and here's why Uh, and
- 47:41sorry for the quick diversion, but it's important because if you're not if you
- 47:45don't know the truth You can't very well defend it.
- 47:49Can you and we don't know what is happening?
- 47:52And so what I always tell people Is that a bad deal?
- 47:56Beats a good Judgment anytime, right?
- 48:00So that would translate it for the law, you know before trial usually the two
- 48:06lawyers and the judge and everybody else involved is has made their final
- 48:10offers and In this case the offer to me and my client was like, I
- 48:15don't know the exact numbers, but I want to say like 32 000 it was
- 48:19over 30 but not by much certainly under 40 and uh So the offer was
- 48:25we're going to give you 40 000 would have put you know I don't know
- 48:28decent amount of money in my pocket and and I don't care.
- 48:32It's not my decision It was the client's decision to to uh to uh, take
- 48:36that money or not, right?
- 48:38And I remember sitting there chatting with her telling her what's gonna be and
- 48:42I was like, you know That's a fair offer, you know, you've got whatever it
- 48:48was 15 000 in damages 15 000 in medical bills, you know, you should probably
- 48:54take this and and move on We can wipe those out get them all resolved
- 48:59get me paid off you put some money in your pocket and blah blah blah
- 49:03Off we go.
- 49:04She goes.
- 49:05No, no, no.
- 49:05No, I what do you I said?
- 49:06Well, I I don't care.
- 49:08It's not up to me It's up to you.
- 49:10I'm gonna put on the same case regardless And uh, you know, we're gonna you
- 49:15know, but it's a jury out there you might lose, you know It's a jury
- 49:19you're gonna put your life in the hands of a jury.
- 49:22Well, just understand that sometimes you're not gonna win Jury might not like
- 49:27you they hated her and i'll tell you why Uh, because we get all the
- 49:31way through this and it was pretty funny.
- 49:33I get the whole day.
- 49:34It's my case I bring I got the I don't know the car expert.
- 49:38I got a doctor.
- 49:39I got all the medical bills I have everything that we've gone through and
- 49:41everything is there and uh, then the uh judge says let's let's take a you
- 49:48know, 20 minute break and we'll come back in and uh, we come back in
- 49:52and uh the Opposing lawyer who's a decent guy st.
- 49:57Louis something like that a good guy and uh, he uh, He stands up and
- 50:03he he calls my client Now I anticipated this calls her back to the stand
- 50:08puts her back on the stand and says, uh, miss so-and-so.
- 50:11Um, You ever been in a car accident before?
- 50:16She goes No He goes you haven't been in a car accident, you know, no
- 50:24And uh, she said he says you don't remember he goes well, let me ask
- 50:28you this then did have you ever driven a This kind of car whatever it
- 50:32was Have you ever driven?
- 50:34Uh, whatever call it a toyota camry.
- 50:37She goes.
- 50:37No.
- 50:37No, no, you never owned one She goes no he goes you ever borrow one
- 50:41from a friend and i'm going where in the hell is this guy going?
- 50:45Where's he going?
- 50:46And what is he talking about?
- 50:47Well, we should already have this information this uh, This stuff should be
- 50:51here already and He goes She goes no um and he says Okay, you sure
- 51:02and she goes?
- 51:03Yeah, i'm sure and he Uh, then shows her a picture of herself on a
- 51:09uh, on a stretcher On a stretcher with a smashed up car next to it
- 51:17and she goes he goes you don't remember uh Getting a loaner car from some
- 51:22some car dealer and that car was involved in a crash.
- 51:26She goes.
- 51:26Oh, I remember that And he proceeded to show her as a complete liar and
- 51:33um She was she still won I mean It was not her fault the accident
- 51:39But we we did not get anywhere near the amount of money that we we
- 51:44got her medical bills paid and I think that was it So anyway, I only
- 51:48tell you that to say just because uh, you win doesn't mean it's a victory
- 51:53and if uh people are Are gonna, uh, you know not know the whole story
- 51:58about what's going on The likelihood is that you could you know, here's where
- 52:02we've got a good deal is better than Millions of people continuing to die.
- 52:07Don't you agree with that?
- 52:09That's the only reason I told you that story I do tend to get sidetracked,
- 52:12uh every once in a while um You know, but I enjoy it Um, anyway,
- 52:23um I'm going to continue this story.
- 52:26Sorry.
- 52:26I've sidetracked myself ukrainian and russian lives could be saved right?
- 52:31Hopefully for a better future the still real uh if by comparison uh with peak
- 52:38biden Danger the danger of escalation into a regional or even a global war
- 52:46Would be taken away if you come up with a bad deal even And since
- 52:51this has also been a very costly war of sanctions There'd be substantial
- 52:56economic benefit to finishing this war ukraine in particular Would have the
- 53:02opportunity to rebuild especially if its domestic politics took a post-war Turn
- 53:09for the better.
- 53:10They've been in bad shape.
- 53:11They've had a horribly mismanaged country for 30 years um everything that
- 53:17ukraine was a Extremely solid member of the soviet union was the most
- 53:24productive if I recall uh aside, you know non-russian country, uh, you know and
- 53:31the production was incredible all the resources everything that they have it
- 53:35could You know if they could turn out something different and they could leave
- 53:40the ultra corrupt authoritarian and maniacal Zelensky behind You know, that
- 53:47would be a good deal um But I suppose that means it's counterintuitive To uh
- 53:59consider Uh Zelensky wanting anything different than what he is, uh, what he is
- 54:08Talking about here, which is we can't we can't agree to this, right?
- 54:14So the many western friends of ukraine are disturbed if not Panicked by the
- 54:21fact that trump might come up with something Uh outside of their inclusion a
- 54:27ukraine where men are no longer hunted down by force mobilization squads to die
- 54:32Or be traumatized physically and mentally in a militarily pointless war
- 54:38Provoked by failed western strategy to use ukraine to take russia down You
- 54:46know, what about a ukraine that could actually recover from this horribly
- 54:50devastating Catastrophic and perfectly avoidable War that we are in nobody's
- 54:58avoided it have they they in fact have pushed it to occur They wanted this
- 55:05And so this is what we've got so Many of ukraine's friends from hell especially
- 55:14those in nato and eu europe Seem to still find it hard to accept this
- 55:19possibility instead of seriously and honestly exploring not only The inevitable
- 55:24cost of peace, but also the enormous benefit Or facing the immense additional
- 55:30human cost of fighting on they can't stop issuing stale warnings about Obvious
- 55:36fact that those who lose a war That is the west and ukraine cannot expect
- 55:41quite the same outcome as those who win it They still want to tell russia
- 55:46what they're going to do after russia has won the war I don't understand it
- 55:51would it not perhaps Then have been to best avoid this war altogether What was
- 55:57the reason for instance of not closing that famous open door into nata?
- 56:03nato nato that has no Basis in the nato treaty and through which ukraine would
- 56:09never have walked anyway These are questions that precisely need to be answers.
- 56:15These are the people who did their worst to Destroy the process and and push
- 56:21this war, right?
- 56:23Then there are the many whose perma grudge against russia and putin personally
- 56:28is only rivaled by their bitter Resentment of having to live in a trump 2
- 56:33.0 World When they were expected to have the uh, the biden tone forever They
- 56:40find their sad refuge and endlessly warmed over and mine numbingly on original
- 56:46carping About how they are sure the american president is going to be duped by
- 56:52putin, right?
- 56:54That's funny actually, especially from europeans After all, it's their very own
- 57:01ursula von der leyen who has just delivered a gala performance of being as
- 57:06victor orban said eaten for breakfast at the negotiating table by the very same
- 57:13american president But even after trump's once impossible electoral comeback
- 57:19his full spectrum domination of nato Clients reduced to saying and calling him
- 57:25daddy And his complete humiliation of the eu For some it seems there is no
- 57:32cure for Underestimating trump the politician They will only have themselves to
- 57:38blame if he and putin pull off what they cannot imagine once more as As
- 57:45decent an end of this war as possible despite much of europe and the zelensky
- 57:50regime's own obstruction Nonsense friends and neighbors But there's another
- 57:57kind of pessimism about the upcoming summit That is in some ways even more
- 58:02puzzling it comes from observers who are well-informed And if not sympathetic
- 58:07to russia, then at least not blinded by western propaganda Its essence is a
- 58:14radical distrust of the u.s And the ultimate conclusion that it is moscow It
- 58:21should not try to negotiate You know moscow says they should not negotiate with
- 58:26washington What makes this line of thinking more realistic than the endless
- 58:32complaint of russophobes?
- 58:34Is the fact that the u.s has a very long and rich history of
- 58:39breaking agreements especially with russia And even worse of deliberately using
- 58:45negotiation and promises to prepare Some sort of foul play Indeed, perhaps the
- 58:52deepest root of the war in ukraine is precisely the policy of deception
- 59:00america's breaking of the perfectly real promise Not to expand nato, which I
- 59:07was around for During 1990 and 94.
- 59:12I was in the military.
- 59:13I was a arms control inspector I heard these things said and said this is
- 59:19you know, these things are coming russia is going to be russia not the soviet
- 59:24union and You know, this is going to be good.
- 59:27This is going to be great and If you get rid of warsaw pact and
- 59:31all the weapons, then we you know have no need to expand and uh, uh,
- 59:36you know And we did what was it 9 times 14 who the hell knows
- 59:40over and over and over So much so that we have all the baltic states
- 59:45right on the border of russia As as part of it, this is nonsense, right
- 59:54I don't know I don't know against that background.
- 59:59Anyway, these pessimists argue any agreement.
- 1:00:02These are russian pessimists, by the way Any agreement with the u.s will be
- 1:00:06another trap for them to walk into now I I would love to say that,
- 1:00:13you know, we can be trusted Not so positive that I can That I feel
- 1:00:19that way.
- 1:00:20I I I wish that I did feel that way Um, but i've seen it
- 1:00:24all too much, you know But trump's in charge too.
- 1:00:28Maybe if he did something but then what are you going to do when he's
- 1:00:32no longer in office?
- 1:00:33Who are you going to trust then?
- 1:00:35you know If trump seems to be different from his predecessors they say Then
- 1:00:41that is either for show or irrelevant because ultimately the long-term strategy
- 1:00:48of the u.s political establishment Consistently hostile toward russia will
- 1:00:55continue to prevail And if the u.s should end up abandoning abandoning direct
- 1:01:00participation in this ukraine proxy war It could keep going indirectly through
- 1:01:08washington's belligerent european clients and through the lindsey grahams of
- 1:01:14the world continuing to funnel money that direction This approach certainly
- 1:01:19does not lack intellectual substance or evidence in fact Its arguments amount
- 1:01:26to excellent due diligence for anyone entering into negotiation with the u.s I
- 1:01:32happen to agree, but the real question is what practical conclusion should be
- 1:01:37drawn from these warnings I don't know for me.
- 1:01:41I don't know that it means you don't talk.
- 1:01:44What are you going to do continue to keep slaughtering people?
- 1:01:47I don't know.
- 1:01:48Um Can the correct answer to that question Be to avoid even negotiation But
- 1:01:56then moscow would be doing the same thing that uh, you know the west's mutists
- 1:02:03like biden Uh have been doing before trump If sensible observers agree that
- 1:02:12communication and diplomacy are always better than silence Why should russia
- 1:02:17follow the west's?
- 1:02:19Silly precedent of anti-diplomacy good question Especially in view of the fact
- 1:02:24that there is one thing moscow does not have to worry about i'd say losing
- 1:02:29the war But that's not what this guy says unlike in some western countries like
- 1:02:34germany britain france Russia does have a top-notch set of foreign policy
- 1:02:39professionals And institutions I happen to agree Diplomacy therefore is not
- 1:02:45only principally good but also plays to moscow's strength Well, that's true and
- 1:02:52they've been pretty good at uh holding the line So far have they not I
- 1:02:59think they've been doing a pretty damn good job with uh where they are at
- 1:03:05present, so The current russian leadership has been explicit repeatedly about
- 1:03:12its realism concerning the west only recently putin has reiterated his view of
- 1:03:19the war in ukraine as reflecting an existential western threat to russia moscow
- 1:03:26has an empirical verifiably record of healthy skepticism in action If its
- 1:03:34policy were one of easily accommodating the west then we would not be where we
- 1:03:40are at all If moscow's policy were one of easel easy accommodation Then it
- 1:03:48would long ago have concluded a disadvantageous Agreement, that's probably true
- 1:03:55But russia has not in reality this upcoming summit May mark the point at which
- 1:04:02both russia and the united states understand that only serious negotiation
- 1:04:08based on reality on the ground and detached from superficial ideological mantra
- 1:04:15like territorial integrity That it is the only way it can succeed And if that
- 1:04:22is not the case then We will fail and the war will continue there will
- 1:04:28be no agreement The war will continue russia will get more sanctions and on we
- 1:04:32go.
- 1:04:33This is only going to go one of two ways That's what i've been saying
- 1:04:36Finally, there is a fundamental difference between caution and fear caution
- 1:04:41enables but fear paralyzes precisely because the traditional challenge of
- 1:04:46Negotiating with the us are so clear.
- 1:04:49There is no reason to shy away from contact the challenge is to transform
- 1:04:53Caution into practically applicable conditions Will the us continue to share
- 1:05:01intelligence with ukraine?
- 1:05:04I believe this is uh something that I have said if we stop the money
- 1:05:09And stop the armaments and stop the intelligence only from the us side This war
- 1:05:17will end and sooner rather than later.
- 1:05:19We're actually saving lives by cutting these people off Don't you think and
- 1:05:24these poor people that are dying over on the front lines?
- 1:05:28They deserve somebody to look out for them and so far their own country is
- 1:05:32not so You could argue that on both sides but I I think we are
- 1:05:38to uh, and and the the people pushing from the west are far more Dastardly
- 1:05:44than those uh standing up from the east.
- 1:05:46That's what I say Um What about spies Can and will trump tell the cia
- 1:05:55to drop its ukrainian Cutouts and stop contributing to attacks on and inside of
- 1:06:02russia If the us really intends to keep selling weapons to europe so that they
- 1:06:07can then be handed to ukraine How can that be squared with trying to bring
- 1:06:12about peace?
- 1:06:14These are valid questions It is possible that once tested by such questions and
- 1:06:19quite a few of them The american side will expose its lack of commitment to
- 1:06:24the process Yet, no one can rule out that a more useful outcome might come
- 1:06:30about as a result In fact, the summit plan itself may be a sign that
- 1:06:37some of these issues have been broached already I suppose that's a possibility
- 1:06:42in such a situation The rational approach is to try while keeping up one's
- 1:06:48guard Given its post-soviet experience and how it has processed them among
- 1:06:53other things by striking back militarily There is no reason to believe that
- 1:06:58russian leadership is not capable of pursuing this strategy as well Those eager
- 1:07:04to see russia hold its own against the west and in particular the u.s
- 1:07:08Should consider that it is moscow that defines russian national interests
- 1:07:14Depending on a concrete analysis of specific circumstances at this or some
- 1:07:19future moment Even an imperfect agreement made with the us that cannot be
- 1:07:25trusted Might serve these interests And those who rightly favor Multipolarity
- 1:07:32should recall that a russia which keeps fighting in a ukraine war handing
- 1:07:36handed over to the europeans cannot play The same international role as one
- 1:07:42that is finally free of the burden of war So this article was written to
- 1:07:49russians, okay Right, you know i'm sharing it with you, but this is written,
- 1:07:55you know to convince russians That this war needs to be over to convince
- 1:08:02russians to come to the negotiating Table with an open mind not that you need
- 1:08:08that from the diplomacy group, but you do need it from uh, The normal folks
- 1:08:14on the ground a lot of them are going.
- 1:08:15Yeah, but you guys have lied to us for years We like you sam.
- 1:08:19We like you american people sam, but your government, you know All they do is
- 1:08:24lie You know, I can't tell you how many times i've heard that It's hard
- 1:08:28to hard to disagree, you know with all the all the proof that they put
- 1:08:32out and uh, And not just in not just in russia.
- 1:08:36I mean in other places too so it's uh Somewhat scary proposition don't you
- 1:08:44think but I enjoyed that article and that article Should you choose to copy is
- 1:08:51called why?
- 1:08:52Here's why all critics of the alaska summit Are wrong Okay So that was a
- 1:09:00good a good article and I think it was worthy of spending the time on
- 1:09:06it um Margarita simonyan, did she do this in english?
- 1:09:12I think she's this is in russian.
- 1:09:14She wrote it in english on her x page Where yeah, it was it was
- 1:09:20translated.
- 1:09:20It said I do not undertake to predict How the meeting between putin and trump
- 1:09:26will end And unfortunately, I do not undertake to predict whether this meeting
- 1:09:32will even take place She's got on these cool white shoes though, those are
- 1:09:38pretty cool I like listening to her.
- 1:09:41I think she's funny.
- 1:09:42Um, and she's pretty uh, She's pretty strict.
- 1:09:45She's the uh The chief of rt I think whether she's chief editor runs the
- 1:09:50whole show.
- 1:09:51I don't remember I think she runs the whole shoot and match but I truthfully
- 1:09:54don't recall all I know is I like listening to her sometimes I think she's
- 1:09:59uh, I told you before she she does a lot of poetry and is very
- 1:10:04Uh, you know when when I interviewed scott ritter the other day, uh, he talked
- 1:10:09about the russian soul and how uh Uh, what would he what did he call
- 1:10:17it?
- 1:10:19Romantic And poetic, you know, they try to be and and the way that they
- 1:10:24and the way things Should be in the way, you know, there's there's a lot
- 1:10:28of that going on And uh, and and so she shares a lot of that
- 1:10:34um when she Um talks about You know some of the russian things like she's
- 1:10:42on that show.
- 1:10:43I like to watch.
- 1:10:45Um Let's see as as in keeping with that I I did want to uh,
- 1:10:49or with you know, these uh discussions that are going to be going on in
- 1:10:53uh in alaska Um, and the plots that are coming afterward I want to talk
- 1:11:02about ukraine And zelensky remember that we said what we said in the beginning
- 1:11:08here that he has been Softening his stand About territorial concession, but
- 1:11:18there's a lot of information out there that there's also some kind of a
- 1:11:26Provocation we've talked about this provocation of false flag operation to uh,
- 1:11:33you know kill civilians so that uh, You know this Falls apart something from
- 1:11:39europe something from you know, whatever it's going to be But I wouldn't put it
- 1:11:43past any of them To uh have this come about I sure hope not but
- 1:11:51uh Here we are.
- 1:11:53Anyway, the telegraph has said that uh, zelensky is is willing Okay, and this
- 1:11:59this one's not very long either.
- 1:12:00So i'll I'll give it to you uh A deal purportedly under consideration that can
- 1:12:09see ukraine cease attempts to take control of russia's Lugansk people's
- 1:12:16republic Donetsk people's republic and crimea and retain control Of the parts
- 1:12:24of russia's opereggia and her son regions It already occupies these regions
- 1:12:31Overwhelmingly voted to join russia in referendums in 2014 and 2022 Uk ukraine
- 1:12:39remains strongly opposed to any settlement in which it gives up More land than
- 1:12:46what is currently controlled by russian forces to report claims So russia has
- 1:12:51said you give up the territories that um Had referenda to say that they wish
- 1:13:00to join russia.
- 1:13:02So they've already taken All of Donetsk or lugansk and and well virtually all
- 1:13:10of both of those there might be Two percent of the territory they haven't taken
- 1:13:14something small, you know some small amount but way over 90 Of both of those
- 1:13:19are currently occupied by russia, okay so that is the truth as far as uh
- 1:13:32You know considering Those two countries but zapereggia and her son That's not
- 1:13:40true.
- 1:13:40The number could be somewhere in the Call it 80 percent range that uh that
- 1:13:48russia has taken Most of but not all of okay so Russia is saying that
- 1:13:57we're going to continue until we take over those four areas and then you'd be
- 1:14:02lucky If we don't take over Uh kharkov and don't take over sumi in a
- 1:14:09couple other or or even nikolaev And odessa we could go that way too because
- 1:14:14odessa has historically been russian And those people should be allowed a
- 1:14:18referendum, you know, nobody's talked about that.
- 1:14:21That's pure sam talk, right?
- 1:14:23but That is what you know, the those russians did vote or russian regions did
- 1:14:29vote overwhelmingly to join russia And ukraine is strongly opposed to any
- 1:14:36settlement in which it gives up any land, right?
- 1:14:41Ukraine in exchange, however, you know if they did ukraine would demand
- 1:14:46security guarantees Including weapon deliveries from the west and a path to
- 1:14:52nato according to the report The apparent softening of zelensky stance comes
- 1:15:00ahead of the Meeting on friday an unnamed western official It's always the
- 1:15:06unnamed official, right?
- 1:15:09Told the british daily that the plan can only be related To the current
- 1:15:14position held by the military Meaning you don't get the rest of zaparizhia.
- 1:15:20You don't get the rest of kursan And he added that the weekend saw some
- 1:15:25frantic diplomacy between kiev and its western backers This report also claims
- 1:15:30the eu had decided to support ukraine's vision for peace In an effort to boost
- 1:15:36its diplomatic position In dealing with both trump and russia on monday Trump
- 1:15:42said that he and putin would discuss a potential deal that would involve a land
- 1:15:46swap between russia and ukraine Noting that it would be to the betterment of
- 1:15:52both apart from the aforementioned territory Moscow currently controls swaths
- 1:15:59of land in kharkov sumy and nepropetrovsk Other regions, right?
- 1:16:06Obelisks zelensky publicly rejects any territorial concession, but moscow
- 1:16:12insists that any peace deal Must involve ukraine's withdrawal from donbass
- 1:16:18zaparizhia and her son Kiv's commitment to stay out of nato as well as the
- 1:16:24country's demilitarization and denazification That has been the same in How
- 1:16:34many years now just the same?
- 1:16:37um I don't know.
- 1:16:40I'm i'm hopeful.
- 1:16:41I truly am this is uh Good stuff.
- 1:16:46Let's talk about how the west used ukraine This is victor orban, I wish I
- 1:16:51wish he had done this in english, but it's pretty pretty funny no matter even
- 1:16:55if he didn't A staunch advocate for peace talks rather than the eu's military
- 1:17:02backing for kiev um Oh, actually, this one was fico.
- 1:17:07This is the one Fico said this orban gave a different speech.
- 1:17:11I'm sorry.
- 1:17:11This is um, that's a different article.
- 1:17:13I'm in the wrong one altogether Um slovak prime minister robert fico is the one
- 1:17:18who said That the west just used ukraine fico made these comments in a video
- 1:17:23address Posted on facebook over the weekend saying that ukrainian leadership
- 1:17:29also Also bears responsibility Having backed the western plan to harm moscow by
- 1:17:37supporting this war effort Ukraine was used by the west in an attempt to weaken
- 1:17:43russia that did not succeed And for which it say seems ukraine will have to
- 1:17:49pay dearly He said everyone already knows that the conflict Has serious roots
- 1:17:57in recent history has no I would say western military solution And that
- 1:18:04ukraine's membership in nato is impossible Moscow framed the u ukraine conflict
- 1:18:12as a nato proxy war And has long denounced western military aid to kiev saying
- 1:18:18that u.s-led military blocks eastward expansion And ukraine's ambition to join
- 1:18:25nato are key drivers of continued hostility Fico who survived an assassination
- 1:18:33you attempt by a pro-ukraine activist Over his opposition to arming kiev has
- 1:18:40repeatedly criticized the west's approach Warned that it threatens global
- 1:18:45security His latest remarks come as the russian and u.s. Leaders meet blah blah
- 1:18:50blah The kremlin has said securing a permanent and stable stable peace will be
- 1:18:56the focus of the talks in alaska on friday Russian officials insist that any
- 1:19:04deal here it comes folks.
- 1:19:06You ready?
- 1:19:08Hey here, what's this deal got to address?
- 1:19:11root causes of the conflict And reflect what friends and neighbors?
- 1:19:17Reality on the ground including the status of crimea donetsk.
- 1:19:22Lugansk.
- 1:19:23Zaporizhia her son funny stuff, huh Vladimir zelensky who is not invited to the
- 1:19:32putin talk putin trump talks Has already rejected any truce that involves
- 1:19:39territorial concession Despite the old trumpster insisting that swaps will be a
- 1:19:47part of the agreement I don't know.
- 1:19:51Do we really control ukraine that much I suppose I suppose we could I suppose
- 1:19:57we should argue Ukraine is sovereign.
- 1:20:03Well, so does that mean that trump can then go and tell him what to
- 1:20:07do?
- 1:20:09Hmm curious Curious curious.
- 1:20:13I say that it does say he can tell him what to do but They
- 1:20:21are still sovereign But if they're still sovereign and we cannot tell them
- 1:20:26where trumpster cannot tell them what to do Doesn't that mean that they should
- 1:20:30have to do it on their own?
- 1:20:32Isn't that what trump said in the beginning?
- 1:20:35instead you know, we got the the lindsey grahams of the world wanting to uh,
- 1:20:40Come up with more money Come up with more arms finding different places to come
- 1:20:46up with with more u.s uh money and weapons Which i'm completely against But
- 1:20:54you know, of course i'm i've been against it since the very beginning.
- 1:20:58So There you have it.
- 1:21:01Anyway, interesting article.
- 1:21:03Uh, let's see.
- 1:21:04We'll skip the uae Uh Oh, here's the genius Gaia callas She's a genius, isn't
- 1:21:13she?
- 1:21:14If this wasn't short, I wouldn't share it with you.
- 1:21:17Um EU foreign policy chief kaia Kaja callas has called for more pressure on
- 1:21:26moscow.
- 1:21:27Gee surprise surprise more pressure on moscow, she says foreign ministers of
- 1:21:34the bloc's member states held an urgent video conference monday After it was
- 1:21:41announced that russia and u.s leaders will meet face to face Following the
- 1:21:47discussions callas issued a post on x To offer the bloc's support for u.s.
- 1:21:53Steps that will lead to a just peace transatlantic unity support to ukraine And
- 1:22:01pressure on russia is how we will end this war and prevent what Future russian
- 1:22:10aggression in europe.
- 1:22:12She says right I wonder what and i've always wondered where the evidence is of
- 1:22:18this future russian aggression You know, where is it?
- 1:22:24I i've I don't know i'm missing the boat somewhere friends and neighbors
- 1:22:29according to the foreign policy chief Genius foreign policy chief.
- 1:22:34I gotta say The eu is currently working on what?
- 1:22:38more sanctions against russia And what else do they want to provide more
- 1:22:44military support for ukraine And what else more support for ukraine's budgetary
- 1:22:51needs?
- 1:22:52And a session process to join the eu Boy she is She's a hell of
- 1:23:00a supporter, huh?
- 1:23:01Wouldn't you like to have her on your side?
- 1:23:04On monday trump confirmed he will consult with zelensky and the leaders of
- 1:23:09kiev's western european backers before his summit with putin He says i'm going
- 1:23:17to get everyone's ideas.
- 1:23:19I go into that thing Fully loaded right up there and we're gonna see what
- 1:23:24happens.
- 1:23:25He says I I tell you what.
- 1:23:35I hope he's successful.
- 1:23:36I really do And uh i'm i'm eager to see What comes of all this?
- 1:23:48Very much.
- 1:23:49So Oops, i'm throwing things around the room while uh While talking to you, but
- 1:23:57we're getting toward the end of the end of the program and I want i'm
- 1:24:04looking for more Of of the things I wanted to say make sure I haven't
- 1:24:08missed anything, uh critical Let's see here Make sure um From the russian side.
- 1:24:19Here's what russia says.
- 1:24:20They're going to expect from the uh From the talks, right?
- 1:24:26This is important um Wonder what they're gonna say to us.
- 1:24:31This is a fairly short article too.
- 1:24:33So hopefully I can Oh, I might have to rush.
- 1:24:36We're a little further along than I thought Russia sees the upcoming summit
- 1:24:40between the presidents as a chance to mend relationships And tackle long
- 1:24:46-running disputes.
- 1:24:48Did you know that sergey?
- 1:24:50lavrov and uh Uh rubio had discussions this week Uh ahead of this in an
- 1:24:57interview with asvestia, there's a guy named deputy foreign minister sergey
- 1:25:01ryabkov Said that the much anticipated meeting, uh in the largest of the u.s
- 1:25:09states Would focus not only on settling the ukraine conflict but on bilateral
- 1:25:14ties that sank to an all-time low during biden We hope that the forthcoming
- 1:25:20high-level meeting will give an impulse to the normalization of relationships
- 1:25:25Which I think is a good idea.
- 1:25:27That's what I say um Normalization of bilateral relations which will allow us
- 1:25:34to move forward on several issues Maybe the arctic maybe some kind of a
- 1:25:39partnership direct flights between russia and the u.s Were suspended in 2022
- 1:25:44after washington imposed sanctions over ukraine Ryabkov said that it is clear
- 1:25:49that the leaders will focus on other topics as well Remember their phone calls
- 1:25:52last hours and hours and it's not all about ukraine.
- 1:25:56It's about other stuff.
- 1:25:57I hope they keep that up you know On monday trump said the summit, uh
- 1:26:03will be a feel-out meeting would explore a potential deal involving swapping of
- 1:26:08territory But the official acknowledged that at this stage, there is no
- 1:26:12observable progress regarding the return of russian diplomatic property in the
