- 1 00:00:00,000 --> 00:00:02,720 It's still real to be damaged in it! 2 00:00:02,720 --> 00:00:12,720 [Music] 3 00:00:12,720 --> 00:00:21,040 Welcome everybody! Welcome to this week's This Still Rolo Show, Episode 4 00:00:21,040 --> 00:00:28,400 numbers 863 for August 27, 2026. This is your NXT Heat Wave and AWOL in London. 5 00:00:28,400 --> 00:00:37,600 Preview and Predictions Edition of SRTU. I am one after the show I am Jeff Peck joined 6 00:00:37,600 --> 00:00:43,120 every single week for the coast along with Dr. Tray Franklin. Dr. Tray, it has been a very 7 00:00:43,120 --> 00:00:48,560 oddly quiet week so far, my friend. Yeah, nothing to talk about, let's just go to 8 00:00:48,560 --> 00:00:52,800 the show right now. We're good. With that being said, until next week, for Dr. Tray Franklin, 9 00:00:52,800 --> 00:00:59,440 I'm Jeff Peck. Is it weird to me that the biggest news of the week is that Nigel McGinnis 10 00:00:59,440 --> 00:01:04,880 gets to wrestle and winbly stadium against a member of the Blackpool Combat Club and it's not 11 00:01:04,880 --> 00:01:08,480 Daniel Bryan or Bryan Danielson? Wow, and you called them the Blackpool Combat Club. 12 00:01:08,480 --> 00:01:13,760 Yeah, I guess the artist firmly known as the Blackpool Combat Club. Yeah, I guess that may be 13 00:01:13,760 --> 00:01:18,160 the biggest news. There was nothing like Earth Shattering from a news front that's going to 14 00:01:18,160 --> 00:01:23,360 lead the show. It's going to be a lot of looking back at some of the stuff on SmackDown Raw and XT8W 15 00:01:23,360 --> 00:01:32,960 this week. I'll bring this up when we start previewing AWOL in London this weekend. I look at AWOL 16 00:01:32,960 --> 00:01:39,680 in as their WrestleMania. I mean, they're in Wembley, right? I mean, Wembley had 80,000 people in 17 00:01:39,680 --> 00:01:48,960 there. I think they'll have close to 50, I want to say, in just a couple of nights. And for a Go-Home 18 00:01:48,960 --> 00:01:58,320 edition of AW Dynamite, it was one of the most like just walking to the end of, yeah, Ho-Hom, 19 00:01:58,320 --> 00:02:04,560 let me get to the end of two hours edition of AW Dynamite I've seen in some time. And that is 20 00:02:04,560 --> 00:02:09,840 typically the trend when they go overseas, Dr. Trey. So they were in Glasgow last night or 21 00:02:09,840 --> 00:02:18,960 yesterday afternoon. And I don't know about you. Do you DVR the wrestling shows at all 22 00:02:18,960 --> 00:02:24,640 with your dreams or what? Yeah, I basically usually have to watch because I mean, 23 00:02:24,640 --> 00:02:30,080 my schedule's kind of crazy right now. So it's kind of like watching it when I'm traveling or 24 00:02:30,080 --> 00:02:36,960 you're driving somewhere, so I'll watch an hour here, go do something, jump back in, watch another 25 00:02:36,960 --> 00:02:42,160 hour type thing. Yeah, and I feel like most wrestling fans are that way. I DVR every wrestling show 26 00:02:42,160 --> 00:02:48,640 that I can outside of obviously it, Ron and XD. So I always, and I don't think I've ever brought it 27 00:02:48,640 --> 00:02:55,200 up here on the show, but I will have to DVR the show that airs after Dynamite and then just to be 28 00:02:55,200 --> 00:02:59,920 sure because the last several weeks they've gone about two and a half hours, even though it's two 29 00:02:59,920 --> 00:03:05,680 hour time frame that they put it down, even beyond that. So like I had to record two episodes of 30 00:03:05,680 --> 00:03:16,080 impractical jokers last night. And I was about 15 minutes behind the show. And as I was watching live, 31 00:03:16,080 --> 00:03:21,440 I'm getting closer towards the end. They're in Swarth Strickland Jungle Boy. It wrapped up just 32 00:03:21,440 --> 00:03:27,200 around the two hour mark, which it hasn't done in weeks. And I was like, oh my god, I can't believe 33 00:03:27,200 --> 00:03:33,040 that was, that was the go home edition heading in all in. Like there's going to be collision on Saturday, 34 00:03:33,040 --> 00:03:40,800 but Dynamite and collision are booked completely differently on a weekly basis. A.W. Dynamite is more 35 00:03:40,800 --> 00:03:46,240 action and like A.W. Star versus A.W. Star. Collision has its fair share of action, but they love doing 36 00:03:46,240 --> 00:03:52,720 squash matches in it. And it's on a Saturday night. I was like, I can't believe that was the go home edition. 37 00:03:52,720 --> 00:03:58,640 So yeah, that was, it's been a, been a quiet week. It's like the way that summer's going out, I guess. 38 00:03:58,640 --> 00:04:06,160 And I would not expect that at least from A.W. Yeah. And and maybe two degree, I get it. I mean, some 39 00:04:06,160 --> 00:04:11,200 of these other, I mean, WW usually there go home shows. They'll usually have something big in the 40 00:04:11,200 --> 00:04:18,160 main event, but they try to protect their stars. You want to make sure that, hey, my top guy is going to 41 00:04:18,160 --> 00:04:24,800 be able to be at Wembley Stadium. I mean, that's why we saw the Omega Osprey, you know, one wing 42 00:04:24,800 --> 00:04:31,280 angel through, or one wing angel through the table. Last week. Yeah. And not that much this week is 43 00:04:31,280 --> 00:04:37,520 God forbid that goes horribly awry. Now your main events blown up. You know, so I get it. They're 44 00:04:37,520 --> 00:04:45,440 trying to protect the show, but yeah, but you kind of got to sell me on the show, like not really that 45 00:04:45,440 --> 00:04:52,320 hard. I mean, because it is like you mentioned, very similar to to WW WrestleMania for A.W. But 46 00:04:52,320 --> 00:05:00,320 I mean, if your main event matches are Osprey and Omega and then Monet and Nightingale and you're 47 00:05:00,320 --> 00:05:08,000 closing it out with an angle for the six man, the Trio's championship. I mean, I hope that God, we're 48 00:05:08,000 --> 00:05:13,520 getting a new day payoff in this because otherwise, that's kind of an odd way to end, you know, your 49 00:05:13,520 --> 00:05:20,880 go home show right before your biggest event of the year. Yeah. And when Osprey says that Kenio 50 00:05:20,880 --> 00:05:25,440 Megadon traveled to Glasgow, I'm like, okay, missed opportunity. And it's I've somewhere thought it says 51 00:05:25,440 --> 00:05:30,480 you did. Like if last week's show was the go home edition heading into all in, I'd be like, that was 52 00:05:30,480 --> 00:05:38,080 a great way, great send off to head into all in weekend. I mean, what they basically accomplished 53 00:05:38,080 --> 00:05:45,600 last night was the continental challenge cup finals being solidified, maybe a TBS championship 54 00:05:45,600 --> 00:05:54,080 challenger for my world. More entrance into the casino battle royal. The announcement of the Trio's 55 00:05:54,080 --> 00:06:00,560 casino royal wasn't made today by Tony Khan during his conference call. I mean, I know you're 56 00:06:00,560 --> 00:06:06,960 implying that the swerve stuff is to push forward the Trio's and it's like, I don't really know 57 00:06:06,960 --> 00:06:11,120 if that accomplished it because he shook hands with jungle boys. So it was a jungle boy and 58 00:06:11,120 --> 00:06:16,000 and lucha source going to be his partner. Like, I don't even know. You have the angle with a 59 00:06:16,000 --> 00:06:20,080 Willow night in Gellimer, Sadie's, Monet. Willow has is dealing with a legit broken hand. 60 00:06:21,520 --> 00:06:30,320 Just odd very odd and I don't know. The international shows are usually timed to two hours perfectly 61 00:06:30,320 --> 00:06:38,560 and that was what we got on Wednesday night. So I mean, we will certainly talk more about all in 62 00:06:38,560 --> 00:06:44,160 London here and just a little bit. We'll go through the card and it's a big week, but yeah, 63 00:06:44,160 --> 00:06:54,560 all in all, it was it was kind of quiet on the new storyfront, but the storylines is what's taking 64 00:06:54,560 --> 00:06:59,600 focal points. So I think probably most fans would prefer that anyway. So let's start with Friday night's 65 00:06:59,600 --> 00:07:05,600 Smackdown, Dr. Trey. We had Sammy Zane snapping during these highly anticipated from our show standpoint, 66 00:07:05,600 --> 00:07:12,720 CM Punk versus Kevin Owens match to close out Smackdown this past Friday. Last week we spent the 67 00:07:12,720 --> 00:07:17,680 show asking whether Kevin Owens should beat CM Punk for the WWE Championship Toronto. We got our 68 00:07:17,680 --> 00:07:21,840 answer, Punk retained, but somehow Sammy Zane became the biggest story coming out of the match. 69 00:07:21,840 --> 00:07:25,520 This is what you and I predicted. We figured if Punk was going to retain, Sammy would be involved 70 00:07:25,520 --> 00:07:30,080 somehow. Sammy tried to help Owens win the championship, Owens refused to use the title as a weapon. 71 00:07:30,080 --> 00:07:34,400 So Sammy Blast had Owens with it instead. Punk retained it and Sammy completely snapped on both 72 00:07:34,400 --> 00:07:40,160 guys while screaming that Punk stole the championship from him. Why this work? This wasn't simply Sammy 73 00:07:40,160 --> 00:07:45,520 Zane turning heel. Sammy believes he's justified. He thinks Punk has something that belongs to him. 74 00:07:45,520 --> 00:07:50,400 He tried to help his best friend become champion and when Owens rejected him, Sammy viewed it as 75 00:07:50,400 --> 00:07:55,840 another betrayal. That's much more interesting than Sammy suddenly becoming a generic bad guy. So 76 00:07:55,840 --> 00:08:00,720 where is this going? Sammy now has issues with Punk and Owens. Owens still has a legitimate reason 77 00:08:00,720 --> 00:08:05,760 to want another championship match. Punk suddenly has two extremely personal challenges around him. 78 00:08:05,760 --> 00:08:11,200 Punk Owens could very easily become Punk Owens Zane without feeling enforced. So the big 79 00:08:11,200 --> 00:08:16,000 questions coming out of Friday night's Smackdown Dr. Dre did Sammy Zane just become the most 80 00:08:16,000 --> 00:08:25,520 interesting person in the WWE Championship picture? I mean, he's kind of been the most 81 00:08:25,520 --> 00:08:32,560 interesting person in this stuff for the last couple of months. We didn't know which way 82 00:08:32,560 --> 00:08:36,720 they were going to go with it. We didn't like you and I at Ballsettar said, hey, the last real good 83 00:08:36,720 --> 00:08:44,000 guy angle is really you're being well done. And the way his character is gone is really reminiscent 84 00:08:44,000 --> 00:08:50,480 of what they did with Drew McIntyre a few years ago where Drew basically was like his attitude was he 85 00:08:50,480 --> 00:08:55,920 hadn't turned heel. Everybody else had turned against him. And so it's another take on that kind of 86 00:08:55,920 --> 00:09:05,520 advantage. But anytime you get your best friend involved, it's compelling television. And you and I 87 00:09:05,520 --> 00:09:12,960 were talking last week and leading up to this about that real life tension between Owens and Punk. 88 00:09:12,960 --> 00:09:18,720 And now you're involving Sammy Zane in the story. It makes it much more personal on different levels. 89 00:09:18,720 --> 00:09:25,520 So yeah, it's Sammy's the most interesting person on TV right now, which is good for business and 90 00:09:25,520 --> 00:09:31,520 good for people like us who love Sammy Zane. So where should this ultimately go? Punk versus Sammy, 91 00:09:31,520 --> 00:09:39,600 Owens versus Sammy or Punk versus Owens versus Sammy? I want Punk Owens Sammy. That's I want 92 00:09:39,600 --> 00:09:47,360 to triple threat. I think Kevin Owens is better in that neutral area where he's not really good, 93 00:09:47,360 --> 00:09:53,200 he's not really a bad guy. I'll outly stone cold back in the heydick where he's just running around 94 00:09:53,200 --> 00:09:59,120 stunning everybody you never knew what he was going to do. I think Kevin's better in that unpredictable 95 00:09:59,120 --> 00:10:05,360 role. And then let Sammy lean still into his heel side and Punk be the baby face. That's that's how 96 00:10:05,360 --> 00:10:11,840 I would kind of portray this whole thing. Yeah, I'm in agreement with you. And I wonder when they 97 00:10:11,840 --> 00:10:19,040 pull this trigger. Do you think on Friday night's edition of Smackdown? We come out of it where they've 98 00:10:19,040 --> 00:10:24,720 announced for Sunday nights main event Punk versus Owens versus Sammy or is this something that could 99 00:10:24,720 --> 00:10:30,400 be shelved in a couple of weeks for an edition of Smackdown or do you push it even further to early 100 00:10:30,400 --> 00:10:35,040 October when money in the bank is new in New Orleans Louisiana? 101 00:10:35,040 --> 00:10:45,200 So that'd be five, five, six weeks to money in the bank. Is that what we're looking at? About that. 102 00:10:45,200 --> 00:10:52,480 I'm trying to get I'm like, can you do six weeks of television to build up to this match? I mean, 103 00:10:52,480 --> 00:10:59,920 I'm sure you could. I mean, you can always tie another baby face into the mix to help team up 104 00:10:59,920 --> 00:11:05,120 with Punk against you know or punk and Owens against Sammy and Gunther. You know kind of like what they 105 00:11:05,120 --> 00:11:14,400 did earlier this year with Sammy and Gunther against Punk and Rhodes. Sunday nights main event so 106 00:11:14,400 --> 00:11:20,000 stacked. I just don't really want this just shoved in. I think this is something I think there's 107 00:11:20,000 --> 00:11:25,840 enough meat on this to really run it out the full six weeks and save it for money in the bank. So 108 00:11:25,840 --> 00:11:32,160 I think that that would be my call would be kind of saved that triple threat match for money in 109 00:11:32,160 --> 00:11:38,000 the bank. And then plus after that you're getting ready for survivor series. So if Punk comes out on top, 110 00:11:38,000 --> 00:11:43,440 you can go immediately into Punk's survivor series storyline with whoever that is. 111 00:11:43,440 --> 00:11:48,240 And I wonder if the way that you could kind of hold off on this for a little bit, Dr. Tray, 112 00:11:48,240 --> 00:11:53,200 saying like two weeks time Owens wants revenge against Sammy. That's a number one contender's match. 113 00:11:53,200 --> 00:12:00,400 Sammy Owens battled it out. That match ends up being a big you know double disqualification, 114 00:12:00,400 --> 00:12:05,920 interference from Punk again or whatever. And then that sets up four weeks later, three weeks later, 115 00:12:05,920 --> 00:12:10,080 however the time matches out for the three of them to wrestle that money in the bank because 116 00:12:11,120 --> 00:12:18,000 that was the thing that I didn't love about Owens versus Punk is I wanted to see a wait for big PLE. 117 00:12:18,000 --> 00:12:23,680 I understand now why they did it creatively. But I think you get away with it for a little bit where 118 00:12:23,680 --> 00:12:27,760 you set up a number one contender's match in a couple weeks. It does not have to be at Sunday 119 00:12:27,760 --> 00:12:33,280 Night's Main Event or maybe you do Owens versus Sammy in a number of contenders match at Sunday Night's 120 00:12:33,280 --> 00:12:39,840 Main Event as well. And then that gets you to money in the bank a little bit more. So this definitely 121 00:12:39,840 --> 00:12:44,480 has a little bit more meat on the bone for it. But I ultimately think that payoff needs to take 122 00:12:44,480 --> 00:12:51,360 place at a PLE especially since that you just did Punk versus Owens on free TV last week on Smackdown. 123 00:12:51,360 --> 00:13:00,000 Yeah, I mean you can come out this Friday night and have Kevin confront Sammy. You know why'd you do that? 124 00:13:00,000 --> 00:13:03,920 I want to win it the right way and same as like I was trying to help you but you're too dumb to see 125 00:13:03,920 --> 00:13:09,360 how I was trying to help you blah blah blah then you know they come out make the match for the 126 00:13:09,360 --> 00:13:14,640 following you know to me I would do it on Smackdown. And plus it just keeps people wanting to tune 127 00:13:14,640 --> 00:13:19,680 into Smackdown. You know when you get punk and you know I mean see when we get Owens and Zane on free 128 00:13:19,680 --> 00:13:24,960 TV in a number one contenders match people are going to check that out and then that night somebody 129 00:13:24,960 --> 00:13:30,160 pisses off CM Punk he gets involved you know thinking he's doing the right thing but instead of 130 00:13:30,160 --> 00:13:35,200 his screws everything up and then now you build that out to money in the bank. I think that's kind 131 00:13:35,200 --> 00:13:39,680 of the logical choice once again I don't really want any of these guys getting shoehorn into you and I 132 00:13:39,680 --> 00:13:44,880 talked about last last week Sunday night's main event or Saturday is it Sunday or Saturday by the way it's 133 00:13:44,880 --> 00:13:48,720 Sunday it's Saturday it's Saturday it's been about put it's on Sunday and they're calling Sunday. 134 00:13:48,720 --> 00:13:54,400 Okay, that's made about okay but it means that Sunday night main event cards so stacked right now I 135 00:13:54,400 --> 00:14:00,400 just don't want this rivalry this is where this potential could go to get shoved in and get lost in 136 00:14:00,400 --> 00:14:06,400 the mix. Keep it special on Smackdown for a few weeks to build it up to money in the bank. Yeah it's 137 00:14:06,400 --> 00:14:10,480 got to be some special but I'm digging what they're doing and it's three guys that I really enjoy 138 00:14:10,480 --> 00:14:20,640 watching and I think I mean the Smackdown main event picture for the men's side is so clean right 139 00:14:20,640 --> 00:14:25,680 now that it's exciting to see from a viewer's standpoint because you have an understanding of where 140 00:14:25,680 --> 00:14:32,480 things can go you've got punk Owen Zane right now doing stuff you've got Cody and Orton doing some 141 00:14:32,480 --> 00:14:38,320 stuff there's some rumblings that maybe big Drew is on his way back if he is does he go back to Smackdown 142 00:14:38,320 --> 00:14:43,040 does he land on Raw could we see Damien Priest get back into the main event level picture could we 143 00:14:43,040 --> 00:14:47,680 see Finn Bauer get involved you know there was some tension going on there between Damien Priest 144 00:14:47,680 --> 00:14:54,160 and our truth this past Friday night could that lead to a baller priest feud and I mean it just 145 00:14:54,160 --> 00:14:59,200 reminds me of like the good old days of Smackdown where it was they had a very good upper card that they 146 00:14:59,200 --> 00:15:03,280 just mix and match and play it around with and it made the show very very enjoyable where there's no 147 00:15:03,280 --> 00:15:08,560 question marks like okay well who do they put punk with next there may have been that for period of 148 00:15:08,560 --> 00:15:12,720 time but it's been quickly resurfaced to be like okay so this is the direction that they're going 149 00:15:12,720 --> 00:15:19,360 on and that makes things very very fun on the Smackdown side switching gears to Monday night raw 150 00:15:19,360 --> 00:15:23,680 doctor trail we have some big news coming out of there we will be having the Lutra bros 151 00:15:23,680 --> 00:15:28,720 penta versus Ray Phoenix at the end of this number one contender's tournament to face Roman 152 00:15:28,720 --> 00:15:34,800 Reigns in Mexico City in early September pentan Ray Phoenix both advancing on Monday night now the 153 00:15:34,800 --> 00:15:40,640 Lutra brothers have to go through each other again the winner will get Roman Reigns in a world heavyweight 154 00:15:40,640 --> 00:15:46,400 championship match in Mexico City which is pretty enormous set of stakes for both men why I am 155 00:15:46,400 --> 00:15:51,600 interested in this we've seen pentan Phoenix together for years just not yet in WWE but now WWE 156 00:15:51,600 --> 00:15:56,320 has the opportunity to have us them as two completely separate single star stars penta feels like 157 00:15:56,320 --> 00:16:02,640 the bigger opportunity a personality excuse me Phoenix might give Roman the crazier match and putting 158 00:16:02,640 --> 00:16:06,240 these two against each other immediately create something that feels different from another 159 00:16:06,240 --> 00:16:11,920 standard number one contenders match pentas been booked very very strong in WWE since he's debuted 160 00:16:11,920 --> 00:16:17,920 Ray Phoenix he has been kind of start stop go right now he is on a great swing as the triple A 161 00:16:17,920 --> 00:16:24,160 cruiserweight champion he's performing on RAW he's performing on Smackdown he was on NXT even this week 162 00:16:24,160 --> 00:16:29,120 it's nice to see Ray back in there where for a period of time like could they like release this guy 163 00:16:29,120 --> 00:16:32,720 because they're not using him like is Ray Phoenix going to go what the hell was I thinking wanted 164 00:16:32,720 --> 00:16:37,280 to leave a w and as of right now I would hope he doesn't have those thoughts because the booking 165 00:16:37,280 --> 00:16:43,680 has been good oh with that center regards to pentan Ray Phoenix doctor tre who should win between 166 00:16:43,680 --> 00:16:48,560 the two pentan Ray Phoenix this coming Monday and which one is the more interesting challenger for 167 00:16:48,560 --> 00:16:56,240 Roman Reigns in Mexico City I mean I think right now it's penta on both those questions I think he's 168 00:16:56,240 --> 00:17:01,520 the one that should win because he's been he's the bigger star he's the one on paper also that feels 169 00:17:01,520 --> 00:17:06,960 like the bigger threat you know just if you're looking at it going okay could you know which of these 170 00:17:06,960 --> 00:17:13,040 two guys could actually unseat Roman neither one is the odds on favor but I think if you're if you're 171 00:17:13,040 --> 00:17:18,000 ranking you'd be like okay pentas probably 30 percent chance of winning but Ray face be like a five 172 00:17:18,000 --> 00:17:22,720 you know it's just they're on different levels in their career in WWE right now and pentas 173 00:17:22,720 --> 00:17:27,120 the bigger star he's the bigger merchandise mover fiend at Ray Phoenix has been on a great 174 00:17:27,120 --> 00:17:31,440 trick Jack treason's winning the triple like cruiserweight championship but pentas already been in 175 00:17:31,440 --> 00:17:37,600 their continental champion he's has some really good rivalries the match with Chad Gable was great 176 00:17:37,600 --> 00:17:44,400 so if that's the case you know I put my money on pentas I had to pick one plus you know they can 177 00:17:44,400 --> 00:17:49,680 sell how these guys are brothers more on TV leading into this and then it may be coming out of it 178 00:17:49,680 --> 00:17:55,520 at some point we get the lucha bros and the usos at some point as well which I think would be a tag team 179 00:17:55,520 --> 00:18:00,800 dream match for a lot of tag team wrestling fans out there you know Vince was still around I'd be 180 00:18:00,800 --> 00:18:04,800 saying the reason why we're not seeing the lucha bros tag with one another is because Vince has no 181 00:18:04,800 --> 00:18:10,720 idea that their brothers and or tagged with each other but I have no idea what the triple H lead creative 182 00:18:10,720 --> 00:18:14,960 team is thinking right now other than maybe just to establish them you know they are bigger talents 183 00:18:14,960 --> 00:18:20,320 than deservedly so as as tag teams and there but I think they wanted to save them for a triple A 184 00:18:20,320 --> 00:18:26,560 show then one of them got hurt maybe pentadid and then that got scrapped but it's really nice to see 185 00:18:26,560 --> 00:18:32,720 it's been a fun tournament it's a it's a nice little um granted it's both like main roster guys 186 00:18:32,720 --> 00:18:36,400 that are in the finals here but the fact that they were able to sprinkle some triple A guys in 187 00:18:36,400 --> 00:18:41,840 there it's been really cool as well and yeah to me this just screams it's going to be Roman Reigns 188 00:18:41,840 --> 00:18:48,320 versus pentad pentas been booked so much better uh in WWE than Ray Phoenix has I think he is the 189 00:18:48,320 --> 00:18:52,880 bigger star right now though I truly believe that Phoenix could be on the same level as pentadid 190 00:18:52,880 --> 00:18:56,800 at some point especially if he gets that pentadid like push because Phoenix is so much fun to watch 191 00:18:56,800 --> 00:19:02,000 on the ring but Reigns versus pentadid is got to have a big fight feel to it it's going to be to 192 00:19:02,000 --> 00:19:06,240 me one of those old school Monday night RAWs where the World Heavyweight Championship the WWE 193 00:19:06,240 --> 00:19:11,840 Championship is on the line and it's it's a challenger it's a match that we've never seen before 194 00:19:11,840 --> 00:19:16,080 and that leads to a lot of intrigue and into how both perform in that setting and especially in 195 00:19:16,080 --> 00:19:22,640 Mexico City it should make for a really really cool atmosphere and that's the expectation I'm looking 196 00:19:22,640 --> 00:19:28,400 forward to this match come Monday night pentadid versus Ray Phoenix uh hey you got a question for 197 00:19:28,400 --> 00:19:32,160 but you got a question for you before you jump into it in my head I'm already kind of picturing 198 00:19:32,160 --> 00:19:39,920 pentadid Roman Reigns Mexico City and in my like we love those like hometown like you know 199 00:19:39,920 --> 00:19:46,400 Sammy Zane Roman from a few years back in Montreal or no is that Kevin and no Sammy and Roman 200 00:19:46,400 --> 00:19:54,560 Montreal yeah yeah or even Rob Van Dam John Cena one night stand like do you think we get that kind 201 00:19:54,560 --> 00:20:01,760 of reaction where it's like 95% for one guy against the other especially when one's the underdog 202 00:20:01,760 --> 00:20:08,720 like those are some memorable matchups when it's like yes all the like all on paper if they're 203 00:20:08,720 --> 00:20:15,440 on a neutral field it's all Roman Reigns or it was all John Cena but in this setting in this environment 204 00:20:15,440 --> 00:20:21,440 that crowd is going to be rocking like that's that's kind of the early vibe I get for this matchup 205 00:20:21,440 --> 00:20:27,360 if it goes that way of Benson Roman Reigns in Mexico City. Oh I'm totally with you I think any non 206 00:20:27,360 --> 00:20:31,840 United States crowd for professional wrestling is phenomenal even though like glass guy maybe 207 00:20:31,840 --> 00:20:36,880 that's just was the edit on the on the on the tape delay that they would dynamite on Wednesday night 208 00:20:36,880 --> 00:20:43,040 was not really where I hoped it was going to be comparable to other international crowds I fully 209 00:20:43,040 --> 00:20:49,760 expect it to be a really potentially like once in a lifetime type crowd where I think Mexico City is 210 00:20:49,760 --> 00:20:55,680 behind their country's hero against the unstoppable Roman Reigns and it makes for a really really 211 00:20:55,680 --> 00:20:59,680 fun atmosphere for all of us to watch at home so yeah I'm in agreement that I try that I think 212 00:20:59,680 --> 00:21:08,800 this crowd is is going to be phenomenal in Mexico City. Yeah I'm just imagining all the 213 00:21:08,800 --> 00:21:14,400 fans I mean it's gonna be fun watching fans do the one finger for the OTC but then do the 214 00:21:14,400 --> 00:21:20,480 Sarah Mieto for Penson just watching I don't know how many people are being in that building I'm 215 00:21:20,480 --> 00:21:27,200 guessing many probably 15,000 10,000 15 I don't know how big the arena is but to see that many people 216 00:21:27,200 --> 00:21:34,480 go against Roman at one time should I mean that to me it reminds me more of Cena Rob Van Dam even 217 00:21:34,480 --> 00:21:40,160 more so than Sammy and Roman from a nation chamber. Yeah I love those type of atmospheres I love when 218 00:21:40,160 --> 00:21:47,120 we see performers in an arena or in a country that they can put on their back against the unstoppable 219 00:21:47,120 --> 00:21:51,840 lots because it feels like it's a thousand versus one and that one individual is someone that is 220 00:21:51,840 --> 00:21:57,680 really unstoppable to beat and that fits very well with the OTC one in Roman Reigns so I know we're 221 00:21:57,680 --> 00:22:01,520 jumping the shark here a little bit because we think it's gonna be Penta the match hasn't happened 222 00:22:01,520 --> 00:22:06,880 yet but I would be shocked if on what is it like September 13th it's not Penta versus Roman Reigns 223 00:22:06,880 --> 00:22:11,520 in Mexico City for the World Leverweight Championship. Speaking of Roman Reigns and the Bloodline 224 00:22:11,520 --> 00:22:16,480 Dr. Trey there was another wrinkle into the Bloodline story Royce Keys returned with Bronco 225 00:22:16,480 --> 00:22:21,680 Neiman Lucien Price and destroyed the Uso Solusakoa and LA Knight to close out Raw this past week. 226 00:22:21,680 --> 00:22:27,280 Bronco Neiman was recently kicked out of Parrots Day Mall on AAA and we're wondering why well 227 00:22:27,280 --> 00:22:32,320 there's the reason why OTM is now on the main roster for Monday Night Raw. So one week after we were 228 00:22:32,320 --> 00:22:36,800 talking about Solo Reject in Roman and Jacob Fattu watching everything unfold there are suddenly 229 00:22:36,800 --> 00:22:41,840 even more people orbiting this story. I'm interested but I'm also reaching the point where WWE has to 230 00:22:41,840 --> 00:22:47,120 be careful that adding more people doesn't make the Bloodline story unnecessary complicated again. 231 00:22:47,120 --> 00:22:51,200 As I was watching this I'm like hey Dr. Trey and I were just talking about this Survivor Series 232 00:22:51,200 --> 00:22:57,120 War Games. This makes sense. Five on five. Now there's your five. You've got the Royce Keys OTM Solo 233 00:22:57,120 --> 00:23:02,800 LA Knight on one side. Take it on the Bloodline Fattu the two Uso's Roman Reigns. We just need to add 234 00:23:02,800 --> 00:23:08,480 one more and then all of a sudden Royce Keys is also taking out Solo and also taking out LA Knight. 235 00:23:08,480 --> 00:23:13,600 The guys that he tagged with not too many weeks ago at Summerslam. So the big question I have here for 236 00:23:13,600 --> 00:23:18,960 you Dr. Trey is does adding Royce Keys and OTM make the Bloodline story more interesting or are we 237 00:23:18,960 --> 00:23:28,000 starting to add too many moving parts again? Interesting for me in the sense of I don't get it. 238 00:23:28,000 --> 00:23:35,600 Like I haven't figured out the path we're getting to because I don't know if Royce Keys has 239 00:23:35,600 --> 00:23:44,800 established himself on the main roster to be thrust into a faction leader or like I don't see 240 00:23:44,800 --> 00:23:51,680 Royce Keys on the level of LA Knight Jacob Fattu Solo or Roman. Maybe a notch below but I just 241 00:23:51,680 --> 00:23:57,360 don't think they've built enough up built up enough credibility in him. And then once again like OTM 242 00:23:57,360 --> 00:24:02,960 never been NXT Tag Team Champions and like they they had some good matches but they were never 243 00:24:02,960 --> 00:24:09,680 the featured guys so to me it's kind of a head scratching move which I guess makes it interesting by 244 00:24:09,680 --> 00:24:17,280 default but I don't get throwing another three guys in the mix when you really are still working on 245 00:24:17,280 --> 00:24:22,080 establishing where all the other guys fall so it's kind of a head scratching move for me. 246 00:24:22,080 --> 00:24:29,520 I don't necessarily if I agree with the head scratching part yet I can understand your perspective. 247 00:24:29,520 --> 00:24:38,000 I like the added um like outside of the orbit that I did not foresee coming like I figured Royce 248 00:24:38,000 --> 00:24:42,960 would be back but I didn't think it would be along the lines of of having OTM at his side and I like 249 00:24:42,960 --> 00:24:48,000 it because it's it's just it's different from what we want to see whenever you see storylines 250 00:24:48,000 --> 00:24:54,320 rehash stables re re reform whether it's the NWO the four horsemen for the 800 millionth time 251 00:24:54,800 --> 00:25:03,200 degeneration X even um nothing is as good as the first time I think the only time I would ever say like 252 00:25:03,200 --> 00:25:08,720 the second go around ones the best is when the DX Army formed after the Shawn Michaels triple H run 253 00:25:08,720 --> 00:25:14,480 early on and then when he did the stuff with new wage outlaws and Xbox I'd still think that that's 254 00:25:14,480 --> 00:25:20,080 the best version of degeneration X but with that said it's like you got to make it interesting they're 255 00:25:20,080 --> 00:25:24,160 going back to the bloodline well how do we make it interesting well the feeling was solo is just 256 00:25:24,160 --> 00:25:29,120 going to fall in line like Jacob Fart too nope didn't happen LA night is getting an opportunity again to 257 00:25:29,120 --> 00:25:34,160 kind of run with the ball and see can he play in the sandbox with the main event players cool 258 00:25:34,160 --> 00:25:40,880 Royce keys was with AW a year ago figured he'd probably just be on a on a on a booking level where he 259 00:25:40,880 --> 00:25:45,920 was just kind of in a safe spot and and nothing like this heavy involved but here he is very heavy 260 00:25:45,920 --> 00:25:51,440 involved he's never been in a storyline like this a top storyline um like this and then you've got 261 00:25:51,440 --> 00:25:56,720 OTM who is a tag team that probably should have run at least with the NXT championship tag team 262 00:25:56,720 --> 00:26:02,640 championship a couple times they've just been around their popular they're they were acting as baby 263 00:26:02,640 --> 00:26:07,440 faces I enjoyed their work but they just won't showcase much and now they're getting an opportunity 264 00:26:07,440 --> 00:26:14,000 to say see can they swim with the sharks on the raw roster in the main roster of WWE so I dig it man 265 00:26:14,000 --> 00:26:19,120 I do and I'm keeping an open mind because it's an extra layer that I did not see coming and they 266 00:26:19,120 --> 00:26:23,760 did kind of feed back a little bit more on the Jacob thought to stuff and I'm I'm starting to wonder 267 00:26:23,760 --> 00:26:30,480 you know is it's fought to going to be turning here is is fought to the Virgil to the Roman Reigns is 268 00:26:30,480 --> 00:26:39,040 million dollar man keep it right yeah man I don't know if I'd ever think of something comparing Jacob 269 00:26:39,040 --> 00:26:43,760 thought to the Virgil that's that's yeah how else do you do it right I mean it's like this is the 270 00:26:43,760 --> 00:26:51,120 guy that's under the thumb of yeah the top star I don't know I don't know who else we can I don't think 271 00:26:51,120 --> 00:26:58,320 you'll be signing autographs in this New York City subway system or I paid Virgil no it's it's 272 00:26:58,320 --> 00:27:05,440 at first I thought it'd be more like when Sean Michaels had to work for JBL that weird indentured 273 00:27:05,440 --> 00:27:10,240 servitude type things where like you know Sean's always kind of poking him but you know he has to 274 00:27:10,240 --> 00:27:16,000 do it Jacob just fell in line so in a lot of ways it the Virgil Ted D. Viosi comparison session 275 00:27:16,000 --> 00:27:26,080 not bad and I want to go back I'm not poo pooing the the keys OTM thing I'm just it concerns me when 276 00:27:26,080 --> 00:27:34,160 you debut somebody knew and then it's kind of start stop start stop they did the injury angle but 277 00:27:34,160 --> 00:27:39,840 now he's just mad at everybody and like and then bring it up OTM when they really didn't get a 278 00:27:39,840 --> 00:27:46,960 really great run in NXT it makes me a little nervous because I mean be honest not a lot of the NXT 279 00:27:46,960 --> 00:27:53,120 guys have had a ton of success right away in the main roster it's just it's an interesting move in 280 00:27:53,120 --> 00:28:01,040 you're right we didn't see it coming I want to give it another week to kind of flesh out the layers 281 00:28:01,040 --> 00:28:06,320 behind it and then it's either okay I'm on board or no this is kind of jump the shark and 282 00:28:07,120 --> 00:28:12,640 let me go back to Smackdown and just watch Sammy Kevin and CM Punk yeah it's it's an interesting 283 00:28:12,640 --> 00:28:17,520 layer again a little bit unpredictable I'm happy for Royce Keys getting this opportunity and we'll 284 00:28:17,520 --> 00:28:23,680 see where things go it's ultimately I think this is this is a war game storyline and I wouldn't be 285 00:28:23,680 --> 00:28:30,080 surprised if either we do like multiple teams which would be cool or we do an LA night solo 286 00:28:30,080 --> 00:28:33,440 Royce Keys and Company because I think that's what they're going by Royce Keys and Company 287 00:28:34,400 --> 00:28:39,040 against the bloodline and we do five on five so I'm always thinking about war games now when it comes 288 00:28:39,040 --> 00:28:44,640 to the bloodline this time of year doctor try yeah Royce Keys and Company sounds like they sell fake 289 00:28:44,640 --> 00:28:53,040 Rolexes by the way yes Keys and Co I think they'll just go by what I mean it's a stable names of all time 290 00:28:53,040 --> 00:29:02,080 K&C the sunshine van I'm a thing went that way um but I mean is it possible we get a triple 291 00:29:02,080 --> 00:29:08,240 throughout war games where you have two three teams of three yeah it's what you know you do yeah like 292 00:29:08,240 --> 00:29:15,600 Keys and Company LA solo and Jacob and then Roman and the Usos I mean is it's a decent company yes 293 00:29:15,600 --> 00:29:21,120 by the way if they if if if OTM starts doing like a crime time thing when they start selling knock off 294 00:29:21,120 --> 00:29:25,600 watches while walking to the ring that would be fantastic as well I was a fan of crime time I must 295 00:29:25,600 --> 00:29:30,160 admit I love that theme song they were just so much fun but yeah it makes you wonder where 296 00:29:30,160 --> 00:29:35,200 the things are going um and maybe yeah Jacob thought to eventually aligns himself with solo and 297 00:29:35,200 --> 00:29:40,640 Ellie and I out of this entire thing I think that would be a little bit too early for my liking 298 00:29:40,640 --> 00:29:44,800 but I feel like they're moving forward with that a lot quicker than I imagine I thought that this 299 00:29:44,800 --> 00:29:49,280 was going to be a WrestleMania storyline build on it for for Jacob for a period of time he's the 300 00:29:49,280 --> 00:29:55,760 he's the killer for Roman Reigns and then maybe Jacob it like like a Batista okay how about this 301 00:29:55,760 --> 00:30:01,840 for a comparison I said Virgil before maybe he's like the Batista to the Triple H that is Roman Reigns 302 00:30:01,840 --> 00:30:07,600 and you know you basically rehash that storyline 21 years later calling Batista like they did dumb 303 00:30:07,600 --> 00:30:13,200 Jacob's dumb and Jacob's over here and Batista was over here in a Jacob enters the rumble wins the 304 00:30:13,200 --> 00:30:17,680 rumble and decides he's going to be taken on Roman Reigns when Roman's like yeah go win again CM 305 00:30:17,680 --> 00:30:21,360 punk or something like that and we'll you know rule the world basically like he was trying to do with 306 00:30:21,360 --> 00:30:26,560 J.U. So not too long ago with King the Ring tournament so lots of play around here another layer on the 307 00:30:26,560 --> 00:30:31,440 Monday Night Raw side especially when it comes to the bloodline let's look at NXT heat heat wave 308 00:30:31,440 --> 00:30:37,840 this Sunday from the Bert Ogden arena in Eden's Burg Texas we've got Jada Parker versus Daddy it's 309 00:30:37,840 --> 00:30:42,720 submission match Miles Bourne defending and Tavion Heights defending the NXT Tag Team Championship 310 00:30:42,720 --> 00:30:48,640 against Brad Bale and Ricky Smokes Zarya defending her NXT Women's North American championship 311 00:30:48,640 --> 00:30:53,280 Brent Sinclair defending her WWE Women's Speed Championship in a triple threat match along with 312 00:30:53,280 --> 00:30:57,680 Cali Armstrong where a winner takes all triple threat match that will unify both the women's North 313 00:30:57,680 --> 00:31:02,640 American Championship in women's Speed title Miles Bourne defending NXT North American Championship 314 00:31:02,640 --> 00:31:07,280 against Jackson Drake Kendall Gray defending NXT Women's Championship against Kalani Jordan and 315 00:31:07,280 --> 00:31:12,160 Tony D'Angelo defending NXT Championship in a fatal four way against Grayson Wall or Cruz Montana 316 00:31:12,160 --> 00:31:20,000 and Zilla Fah 2 overall doctor trade this feels like a very transitional NXT show to me Miles Bourne 317 00:31:20,000 --> 00:31:25,360 is pulling double duty to women's championship championship are being unified and Zilla Fah 2 318 00:31:25,360 --> 00:31:30,880 debuted only a few weeks ago and is already challenging for the NXT Championship that's the match I 319 00:31:30,880 --> 00:31:36,000 most curious about because Tony D doesn't even need to be pinned to loses championship so I ask you 320 00:31:36,000 --> 00:31:42,080 the big question here is WWE already ready to go all the way with Zilla Fah 2 or his heat wave 321 00:31:42,080 --> 00:31:46,400 designed to establish him as a future champion without putting the belt on him yet? 322 00:31:46,400 --> 00:31:53,760 Yeah I think he waves design to help get him over more because you mentioned Zilla hasn't been 323 00:31:53,760 --> 00:31:57,600 there long well technically speaking Cruz has only been there two weeks longer than Zilla 324 00:31:57,600 --> 00:32:05,120 you kind of got to establish both guys in this match and so for me it's more about 325 00:32:05,120 --> 00:32:09,520 getting Zilla that exposure getting him on that main stage, 326 00:32:09,520 --> 00:32:16,320 putting him like a main event guy but to me I think this is either this is for Cruz or 327 00:32:16,320 --> 00:32:22,480 more than anybody else so I think it's more just about let's get both these guys over put one 328 00:32:22,480 --> 00:32:27,920 on top as a champion let the other guy chase him because Grayson and Tony I mean those guys have 329 00:32:27,920 --> 00:32:32,640 been around the system for a long time and you can move them back up to the main roster haven't 330 00:32:32,640 --> 00:32:36,640 do something else and have them get other guys over and it'll be fine as well. 331 00:32:38,080 --> 00:32:42,720 So who do you think walks out you think it's Cruz Montana? I think it's gonna be Grayson Waller. 332 00:32:42,720 --> 00:32:50,960 Honestly to me like you've got I think you have to kind of put the belt on one of those two guys 333 00:32:50,960 --> 00:32:57,040 whether it's Cruz or Zilla I just think Cruz is the more logical choice and then you can branch 334 00:32:57,040 --> 00:33:02,960 off into Tony and Zilla and Grayson and Cruz and like Grayson and Chase those guys you know 335 00:33:02,960 --> 00:33:07,280 and that way you're using the establishing H.C. guys to build up the new H.C. guys so 336 00:33:08,000 --> 00:33:11,120 to me it's I'm gonna lean towards Cruz more than Grayson. 337 00:33:11,120 --> 00:33:19,600 NXT Heat Wave airs on the CW this Sunday midday doctorate 3 p.m. East to go up against AWOL in 338 00:33:19,600 --> 00:33:26,000 which starts at like 11 a.m. East on Sunday speaking of AWOL in Dr. Trey the Sunday from Wembley 339 00:33:26,000 --> 00:33:31,840 Stadium in London England looking at the card here you've got Hangman on a page Bandito and Brodie 340 00:33:31,840 --> 00:33:38,160 King defending the AW World Trios Championship in an AW Trios roulette royal that includes the 341 00:33:38,160 --> 00:33:44,400 Bang Bang gang the demand the dogs the death writers the conglomeration and a wild card joker team 342 00:33:44,400 --> 00:33:50,160 man does AW love the in their tag teams on dry day L. the AW 346 00:34:03,760 --> 00:34:08,320 women's world team championship Kevin Knight defends the TNT championship against Arby Allen 347 00:34:08,320 --> 00:34:13,440 on false count anywhere match Kyle Fletcher defends the AW International Championship in a triple 348 00:34:13,440 --> 00:34:18,480 threat match against Ksichko Kadek and Osuke Tikeshka John Moxley defends the AW continental 349 00:34:18,480 --> 00:34:22,960 championship in the continental challenge cup final against Nigel McGinnis Adam Copeland and 350 00:34:22,960 --> 00:34:27,840 Christian Cade defend the AW World Tag Team Championship against the Young Bucks will a night and 351 00:34:27,840 --> 00:34:32,160 gale defense or AW women's world championship against Mercedes Monet and of course the main 352 00:34:32,160 --> 00:34:38,560 event Kenny Omega defend the AW World Championship against the country hometown boy himself will Osprey 353 00:34:38,560 --> 00:34:43,440 as I mentioned at the start of the show I wasn't a big fan of the dynamite go home show for AW's 354 00:34:43,440 --> 00:34:47,440 biggest event of the year four days before returning to Wembley stating my expected considerably 355 00:34:47,440 --> 00:34:52,160 more urgency from the company there were things I certainly liked Moxley and Claudio delivered 356 00:34:52,160 --> 00:34:56,480 Nigel McGinnis fighting through the ankle injury to earn Wembley against Moxley gives that 357 00:34:56,480 --> 00:35:00,240 match a real story Osprey's promo at the start of the show about his journey and what Sunday 358 00:35:00,240 --> 00:35:06,800 meets him worked as well but as an overall show it didn't make me significantly more excited for all in 359 00:35:06,800 --> 00:35:10,880 honestly as I mentioned before I thought last week's Omega Osprey segment did considerably more 360 00:35:10,880 --> 00:35:16,000 to sell me on the main event than the actual go home dynamite and that's my concern with AW heading 361 00:35:16,000 --> 00:35:20,480 into Sunday this card looks really good but has the build consistently made all-in-field like 362 00:35:20,480 --> 00:35:27,920 AW's WrestleMania because now the matches have to deliver so I ask you this Dr. Trey did AW do 363 00:35:27,920 --> 00:35:32,320 enough to make all-in-field like its biggest show of the year or did the disappointing go home dynamite 364 00:35:32,320 --> 00:35:42,480 leave too much work for Sunday I don't know I'm gonna say I think it's fine I wasn't expecting a 365 00:35:42,480 --> 00:35:46,720 whole lot from done it's like I said with Osprey don't make it it'd be really hard to have you know 366 00:35:46,720 --> 00:35:53,680 top what happened last week Mercedes and Nightingale be really hard to top what happened in previous 367 00:35:53,680 --> 00:36:00,320 week I thought they did enough with kind of building the undercard to make it look on paper like one 368 00:36:00,320 --> 00:36:06,800 of the most well-rounded solid shows that we've had in quite some time like I'm excited for all in 369 00:36:06,800 --> 00:36:13,200 there's not a bad match on that card unless Maya World gets on there but outside of that every match 370 00:36:13,200 --> 00:36:22,480 on there has I guess Maya's my new Mercedes but yeah like there's not a bad match on that card like 371 00:36:22,480 --> 00:36:26,320 every every match on there I'm like man there's there's some good story lines or some good reasoning 372 00:36:26,320 --> 00:36:31,840 there's some good logic on paper looks like to be a stacked card so I'm actually this might be the 373 00:36:31,840 --> 00:36:38,480 most excited I've been about for an AW pay-per-view show and probably the last year I just think from top 374 00:36:38,480 --> 00:36:46,000 to bottom it's an outstanding card on paper so I don't mind I guess the letdown of Dynamite because 375 00:36:46,000 --> 00:36:51,040 I think they did enough the previous two weeks to kind of build it up and I agree with you I think 376 00:36:51,040 --> 00:36:56,640 this is a very strong card I'm excited for the show I hope to God but we know that this is Tony Khan 377 00:36:56,640 --> 00:37:01,680 that they don't add like three or four more matches to make it a 14 match card and then make it an 378 00:37:01,680 --> 00:37:06,960 eight hour show I think all in last year in Texas was like an eight hour show like let the guys 379 00:37:06,960 --> 00:37:12,960 and girls just work it's so good again I'm bashing Dynamite because I really wanted some of this other 380 00:37:12,960 --> 00:37:19,520 stuff to to like continue forward and and really make this show stand out and look really really 381 00:37:19,520 --> 00:37:25,920 strong just from an outside like an outside like reading the card on paper perspective like give 382 00:37:25,920 --> 00:37:30,160 me that little bit more from a creative standpoint that's like man the show is going to be an absolute 383 00:37:30,160 --> 00:37:34,800 killer I expect it to be but I just want a little bit more from Dynamite and then the last thing I'll 384 00:37:34,800 --> 00:37:39,760 ask you here Dr. Trey does will Osprey have to beat Kenny Omega and leave Wembley as a W World 385 00:37:39,760 --> 00:37:47,600 Champion on Sunday night in London yes it's like it's I mean you and I like have talked about this 386 00:37:47,600 --> 00:37:53,200 since Osprey signed with AEW like this is the guy that at some point needs to be the guy carrying the 387 00:37:53,200 --> 00:38:00,240 ball he needs to be to steal from Cody Rhodes he needs to be AEW's QB1 and see if you can really build 388 00:38:00,240 --> 00:38:06,800 off this we've seen them do it with you know whether it was Darby or MJF your other guys like 389 00:38:06,800 --> 00:38:12,960 Swarve you know Hangman you know getting the ball and trying to see if it elevates the brand 390 00:38:12,960 --> 00:38:16,560 this is the guy they can see they let's see if he can elevate the brand and you're in his home 391 00:38:16,560 --> 00:38:22,800 country in front of 50,000 people if you're going to pull the trigger on it you need to pull it now so 392 00:38:22,800 --> 00:38:29,920 to me unless they do the MJF Swarve like you and I talked about last week I think Osprey has to 393 00:38:29,920 --> 00:38:36,640 beat Omega in Wembley for the crowd to be happy because otherwise there might be like we talked about 394 00:38:36,640 --> 00:38:42,320 a little last week it might be a full-blown soccer riot if he does not walk out with the time. 395 00:38:42,320 --> 00:38:47,760 Yeah the closer we've gotten to the show I do feel like leaning more towards Will Osprey walking 396 00:38:47,760 --> 00:38:53,120 out as champion that's how the show and I don't think the MJF if he went to casino gauntlet battle 397 00:38:53,120 --> 00:38:57,360 oil him winning the match we're cashing in at the end of the show is the way that they will go 398 00:38:59,120 --> 00:39:04,880 I think from a creative state that would have more headlines but also in wrestling sometimes right 399 00:39:04,880 --> 00:39:10,160 I've heard this recently from someone creative that and I may have been on the unreal Netflix show 400 00:39:10,160 --> 00:39:15,920 that WrestleMania is like the conclusion of stories and that's where I think all in is and when you go 401 00:39:15,920 --> 00:39:22,640 to a show like a WrestleMania summer slam and all in you go to that show to see your heroes conquer 402 00:39:22,640 --> 00:39:27,920 most of the time and that's how the show should end it's in the home country for Will Osprey he should 403 00:39:27,920 --> 00:39:33,040 be holding up the AW world championship let the flyers streamers fly and let the crowd celebrate a 404 00:39:33,040 --> 00:39:38,400 victory in Wembley with one of their hometown boys who who got over the hump and did some good 405 00:39:38,400 --> 00:39:43,360 because Osprey has been waiting a long time I think he's been in AW now for three years contractually 406 00:39:43,360 --> 00:39:47,600 as a full-time star and when he signed I thought it was one of the biggest signings that they've had 407 00:39:47,600 --> 00:39:52,960 maybe the biggest signing that they've had since launching and he's played a backseat role to 408 00:39:52,960 --> 00:39:57,600 Swarth Strickland who was on the rise and rightfully so was on the rise during that period of time he played 409 00:39:57,600 --> 00:40:03,200 a backseat role last year to Hangman Page breaking out and rightfully so in that period of time well this 410 00:40:03,200 --> 00:40:10,400 is Osprey's time right now it's been a while since they put the title on him and this is a guy that 411 00:40:10,400 --> 00:40:15,840 could care the company certainly into the future so I'm excited for this one Will Osprey versus Kenny 412 00:40:15,840 --> 00:40:23,840 Omega and this this feels like the most predictable match of 2026 right now Dr. Tray and I'm totally fine 413 00:40:23,840 --> 00:40:28,480 with it Will Osprey winning this match I mean that's really I mean is there another match that feels 414 00:40:28,480 --> 00:40:34,080 more predictable than this so far I mean everything has been hyped up for him this is like 415 00:40:34,080 --> 00:40:39,680 Shawn Michaels Bret Hart WrestleMania Army and match the video packages or the stuff that they've 416 00:40:39,680 --> 00:40:45,360 done on social media is just all about Will Osprey and rightfully so yeah I mean it does well 417 00:40:45,360 --> 00:40:49,760 pretty good that's why I was gonna ask you I mean technically speaking you have three title matches 418 00:40:49,760 --> 00:40:57,440 involving British United Kingdom type wrestlers you have obviously Osprey Omega but then you have 419 00:40:57,440 --> 00:41:03,280 the Brawling Birds against Divine Dominion and then you have Nigel McGinnis because John Moxley do 420 00:41:03,280 --> 00:41:10,400 all the British people win in Wembley what yeah or do you or do you send somebody home unhappy with 421 00:41:10,400 --> 00:41:16,640 I think the Brawling Birds win Will Osprey wins who was the other one you mentioned Nigel and Moxley 422 00:41:16,640 --> 00:41:22,800 I think Moxley probably defeats Nigel and then Moxley gives Nigel like the the handshake not 423 00:41:22,800 --> 00:41:28,640 of approval that you know he's you know like respects him is that is that the way you kind of end 424 00:41:28,640 --> 00:41:34,560 that match then well he's been doing that for like almost every match right I know it's so weird by 425 00:41:34,560 --> 00:41:40,080 the way like you have on one hand you have them like the the deathwriters are heels and one thing 426 00:41:40,080 --> 00:41:45,680 and then Mox is kind of a baby face and we still haven't got the payoff to Osprey leaving 427 00:41:45,680 --> 00:41:52,880 the deathwriters there's just like yeah that's weird yeah so I am a little confused but there's 428 00:41:52,880 --> 00:41:57,040 part me that just wants to see all the British people win but then the you know the Vince McMahon and 429 00:41:57,040 --> 00:42:02,160 Me goes oh no you're you're in your home country everybody joins the Kiss My Ass Club in your 430 00:42:02,160 --> 00:42:10,960 hometown so yeah everybody loses yeah it's um it it feels like Osprey's the one them and 431 00:42:10,960 --> 00:42:16,320 the Brawling Birds are the one that walk out of there Nigel I think would be almost a hero 432 00:42:16,320 --> 00:42:23,200 in a loss than he would be equal as as a as a victor do you do you think the ankle injury is legit 433 00:42:23,200 --> 00:42:28,560 I haven't seen anywhere that it is do you think it's legit no I think it's all storyline because that 434 00:42:28,560 --> 00:42:35,040 way if he loses or if he passes out from Mox having him with some kind of ankle lock you still get the 435 00:42:35,040 --> 00:42:40,240 the crowd like loving him because he fought over through the adversity in the losing efforts 436 00:42:40,240 --> 00:42:46,320 it's kind of like Rocky one you know it's like Rocky lost to Apollo in the first fight but the 437 00:42:46,320 --> 00:42:51,120 crowd is still at it because it's showed hard long as Nigel shows his heart and fights through the pain 438 00:42:51,120 --> 00:42:56,800 and gets really really close a few times but his body kind of gives out the end he'll still get the 439 00:42:56,800 --> 00:43:02,560 love and adulation from the audience yeah so should be a fun show this Sunday AW all in and we 440 00:43:02,560 -->
