- 2:44talk about? Let's get it in.
- 2:46But without further drummer, be my guest in.
- 2:48And I'ma let him introduce himself here because he's he's
- 2:51into it right now. Look at this.
- 2:56My on your on. Oh, I'm on vacation right now.
- 3:01How are you? What's going on?
- 3:02I'm doing great steak. Yeah.
- 3:05What are you doing? That's what you do on vacation,
- 3:07right? I think.
- 3:09So, you eat steaks by the pool, that's what you do on a
- 3:12vacation. Have you ever had One of these
- 3:15things a crab cake and a real crab.
- 3:18Where is it? Little dark.
- 3:20It's hard to see. The sun's directly on your
- 3:22camera. Some strago.
- 3:25Don't you think the whole shelf? You see the whole show?
- 3:29Oh, you're living large. Well have you ever had a king
- 3:37cake? A king cake.
- 3:40Yeah, king cake, no ice cream cake.
- 3:44It's like a big doughnut. Hmm, and you're killing him, I
- 3:50guy killed him. I know I'm gonna go inside
- 3:53though. I do have different sauce for
- 3:55the steak with you. Dip it in a wonder you just eat
- 3:57it. Eat it, where it regular - eat
- 4:00it, how it is, what are you talking about?
- 4:01Dipping sauce. I'm the one steak sauce guy, I
- 4:04want steak sauce on a dog turd and probably eat it.
- 4:06It's just it just good stuff. Oh we just lost them up.
- 4:09He's back. All right there it is.
- 4:14Yeah, I'm gonna condo in the Alabama right now.
- 4:20No, Bama Be, Careful answer. It's always scary state.
- 4:24It is kind of a scary state. But you know what?
- 4:26I just did a wrestling show in Tennessee.
- 4:29And they hated me. They, as soon as I walked out,
- 4:33they hated me was like Atomic heat.
- 4:36I didn't say anything and they were just a little bit.
- 4:40Just, they were just mad that I existed.
- 4:42I love that good. Well, that's what you're going
- 4:44for, right? I don't know what I'm going for
- 4:47because I I'm just being myself and people either, really,
- 4:51really hate it or kind of like it.
- 4:53That's what I'm going through. I don't know.
- 4:55Weird, what's up? Let's let the people know who
- 4:57you are. Let's introduce yourself
- 4:58properly. I forgot.
- 4:59Yes, my wrestling name is high pitch will but I'm kind of
- 5:04getting away from that. I don't know why I got that
- 5:07name. I don't know how I got the name.
- 5:09High pitch. Will it doesn't mean anything.
- 5:12You have such a deep masculine voice.
- 5:13I don't understand where that came from.
- 5:18I think your camel friends. That's just what happened.
- 5:22I don't know. Yes, yeah, but um, I was in XP W
- 5:26for a year and now I'm kind of just doing independent stuff and
- 5:29trying to figure out what, what my next career move is.
- 5:33So, I'm kind of a managing this guy hardcore, who's out of
- 5:38Buffalo. He does death matches, but I
- 5:40have a couple of other tricks up my sleeve, so I got some other
- 5:43exciting stuff. Hopefully happening soon.
- 5:46Let's so do you mostly just Stay in the, The Avenue of a manager
- 5:51role. Yeah, when I did I was more just
- 5:55like a sidekick for Rob black. When I was in XPW, I actually
- 5:59did help him run the company. I actually had a lot of
- 6:02behind-the-scenes tasks. I was doing like, you know,
- 6:06helping guys with airplanes and tickets and promos I was doing,
- 6:10I did like everything a little bit of everything and XP W.
- 6:15What does which is all really good valuable stuff when you go
- 6:17to Carry on, because having that experience, goes a long way.
- 6:21A lot of people don't realize that when you're in this
- 6:22business, you sometimes you wear more than one hat, you know?
- 6:26Yeah. Oh yeah.
- 6:28I I mean, the, my favorite, you know, out of character real
- 6:31quick. My favorite thing was kind of
- 6:32being a talent agent helping younger guys, get on the show's
- 6:37working with some of the guys that, you know, thought they
- 6:39were too old ice, I really like working with the guys that were
- 6:43not in their Prime, you know what I mean?
- 6:44That was kind of my favorite thing about being involved in XP
- 6:47w. Who are some of your talent that
- 6:49you kind of you kind of pride yourself on of giving them an
- 6:52opportunity to get some shine. Well right now, judge judge
- 6:58showed read hardcore. Those are coming.
- 7:00Some of the younger guys. I got involved Santana, Jackson,
- 7:04I got on XP W, and even in the beginning, slack and G raber.
- 7:10Those were guys, like, you need slack in EG raver, you know?
- 7:13So, a lot of the and necrobutcher 2, necro butcher,
- 7:17the first, Time. I was like, Rob we need an echo
- 7:19but she was like that guy. Like is he even still resting
- 7:21as? Yeah, he's back and I fought for
- 7:24necrobutcher and just a lot of different guys that like the but
- 7:29he's at the women's Locker kind of like the big deals right now
- 7:31and XPW. Correct.
- 7:33Yep. Yep, yep.
- 7:34Yep. Yep.
- 7:34Yep. Yep.
- 7:36Yep. And they run east coast and
- 7:38they're also on the west coast through, right, they're running,
- 7:41they're doing for New York, New Jersey and Pomona California?
- 7:44Yes, yeah. A lot of latkes.
- 7:47A guy who I work for an employee's, me a lot in New
- 7:50Jersey seeing Chad is involved heavily with them now and not
- 7:53just like I do, I get to see some of the stuff I got to be
- 7:55honest. I it's hard for me to watch the
- 7:58Deathmatch stuff just because it's just it's a it's tough It's
- 8:02a tough watch. I don't legit like watching
- 8:05people get hurt and and go through things and I know
- 8:08sometimes what wrestlers get paid or what wrestlers go
- 8:11through outside of professional wrestling and then you watch
- 8:13someone take a light tube across the face and they're bleeding
- 8:15all over the place. We like, oh my God.
- 8:17God, that's insane. And I guess I would get nervous
- 8:22about the guys getting hurt all the time.
- 8:24And I always, and these guys just want to one-up each other,
- 8:29and they're just like, oh this guy did 200 LED tubes, I want to
- 8:31do 400 late tubes, or they really just, they don't give a
- 8:36fuck. And I'm just kind of they don't
- 8:39like, do know, like, what's not? Because in the business their
- 8:45goal is to get that clip that borrow moment.
- 8:48Seen to get the next opportunity to get paid more money and they
- 8:52don't have regard for their own safety and they're going to go
- 8:55out there and do something absolutely insane.
- 8:57So they have that moment and for them that's that's their dream.
- 9:00They don't care about the million-dollar check, I mean the
- 9:03million dollar check is cold for them, but the fact that people
- 9:05seen them do a crazy spot in a wrestling match that may or may
- 9:08not break a bone or cut themselves up or really bad and
- 9:11it just like it's hard for me to just like yeah like I've never
- 9:16done a full blown hard. I got close once at a show where
- 9:19it was like a light tube Deathmatch style thing and it
- 9:22was it was tough to call on commentary because the entire
- 9:25time like this is legit happening.
- 9:27Like they're they're they're sticking fishhooks in their
- 9:29mouth like and I and I and basically what it comes out
- 9:34whose every weekend is just who got hurt the most and who came
- 9:38up with a new weapon and that's that's what they're kind of
- 9:41chasing and it is kind of scary. What was the weed?
- 9:44Whackers Yannick. It's and especially because
- 9:47light tubes are Now start making a light tubes, they're gonna
- 9:50have to find a new crazy shit. Like it's, it might get worse.
- 9:53I don't know, someone needs to get into the shower glass
- 9:57industry and starts us. Really, really start pumping out
- 10:00sugar glass. So it doesn't it doesn't have
- 10:02anything. They would hate that.
- 10:03They made the suggestion, they would hate that you do we want
- 10:08real glass? We are in fire.
- 10:12He went to Great to full of barbed wire that's on fire.
- 10:15That's what they. That's the are the ones on this.
- 10:17So the one company was like, Hey we're doing a barbed wire no
- 10:21rope match like a barbed wire rope Max.
- 10:22I'm like gimmick barbed wire right there like No.
- 10:25And I was like, all right? I said Remember the video of
- 10:30Sabu where he lost his bicep fell out of his arm like that's
- 10:33that's what's gonna happen. Yeah.
- 10:36And I always get nervous because I had always make sure I always
- 10:40get nervous because somebody's going to get hurt on one of
- 10:42these shows because it doesn't take, I mean, like I get hurt
- 10:46all the time and I'm a Maybe about it, you know what I mean?
- 10:49But imagine I don't know. Ya know, that's kind of the one
- 10:54thing that like I guess sometimes I want to working in
- 10:56Pennsylvania I'm like all right at least I'm safe in.
- 10:58Pennsylvania are not going to have that going on because the
- 11:01athletic commissions, very strict.
- 11:02But then soon as you cross that you are now in Jersey.
- 11:05It's just like the wild west and you have no idea who you're
- 11:08coming into a wrestling show on that side of the state.
- 11:11Yep. Oh, yeah.
- 11:12And, and yeah, being that far away from home to that, that
- 11:15makes me nervous too. You know.
- 11:18Yeah, no, honestly I don't know if I ever talk about the
- 11:20podcast. One of my biggest fears is
- 11:22driving because you know, I got people do the car ride, right?
- 11:24So you fill up a car full of people and like already get
- 11:27home, super, super late. But what if somebody in your car
- 11:30like gets hurt and you're sitting at the ER, for the next
- 11:3345 hours, let it gives like. Oh, that's awful.
- 11:37Yeah, and that's, that I'm leaning.
- 11:40That would definitely be my job to sit in the yard with someone
- 11:42for four or five hours. Like, I know, I know that going
- 11:45into it, if someone gets hurt, I'm Be the one freaking out and
- 11:49taking him to the hospital. Absolutely is.
- 11:52Yeah. So, so now that you're not that
- 11:55night, you're not involved in the XPW thing and you said,
- 11:57you're branching out doing things.
- 11:59What are some of your goals that you're trying to accomplish now?
- 12:02Well, I want to, I don't know if I want to give it away because I
- 12:05haven't announced it, but I have it all here, but I have a big
- 12:08idea that I think will catch on and be important.
- 12:12If I can connect all the red dots.
- 12:15You know what I mean? Yeah, I got something.
- 12:17I got something cool playing that.
- 12:19I don't think has ever been done before and I'm excited about it.
- 12:23So uke, gonna have to wait and see how this pans out because I
- 12:26don't want to be the guy. That's like I'm building a
- 12:28monster truck and then you just check in a weekly.
- 12:30Like, how is your monster truck? Oh, I got the tires.
- 12:35Don't don't talk about until it's complete.
- 12:36I like, I like that. I like that moment was right
- 12:38there. So the look and the character,
- 12:42how did this come about? And what are you going for?
- 12:44For this, for this, this character?
- 12:46And this look at you got going on.
- 12:48Well, I've always been a punk since our, you know, mid high
- 12:53school. So I really came into it.
- 12:55Looking how I look and being who I am.
- 12:59I did, I did Radio 4 years and I did from DJing and promoting
- 13:06shows way before I was in wrestling.
- 13:09So I've always kind of just been who I am and then it just kind
- 13:13of worked for rustling. So that's so that was kind of
- 13:16like Just kind of just luck. I just kind of grew into this.
- 13:20And it's just, this was just the next step and I was, I mean, Rob
- 13:25just kind of found means like, you're weird, you've never been
- 13:28arrested before but you didn't, you know, your you're going to
- 13:31be my assistant, you're going to be funny on TV.
- 13:34I go, I know, I can be funny on TV like that's probably the only
- 13:37thing I'm really good at is being funny on TV.
- 13:40So yeah, I love to be funny on TV.
- 13:42Yeah, yeah, I love the look. I guess said the old punk Rook
- 13:47Look. And then you have like a little
- 13:48bit of like like the like the bad guy or the comic relief and
- 13:52like an 80s movie. You know what I mean?
- 13:56Really good. Summary of who I am as a person
- 14:00and sometimes it gets annoying. I know I'm a very annoying /.
- 14:03I'm like the Gilbert godfried of wrestling and I know that it's
- 14:06very annoying. And, and like I said, when I
- 14:08went out this show and Tennessee is soon as I walked out, they
- 14:12hated that I was born and I mean and everyone backstage was like,
- 14:17this is a really The crowd like because everyone there no one's
- 14:21smart marking, it's just everyone thinks it's real or
- 14:24just they're just so happy to be in a wrestling show.
- 14:27That I mean, necro, Butcher and hillbilly will not before me and
- 14:30everyone was singing. The u.s. a song with them and he
- 14:34was like how cold it was. Well you're in Tennessee and
- 14:37necrobutcher walked out a trump hat on so I'm sure sure I went
- 14:40over very well. It was like, it was like, Hulk
- 14:42Hogan came to like Rocky, Top, Tennessee.
- 14:45He was sober and I walk out and they Just like this fucking guy,
- 14:49they hated. I'm gonna make their like the
- 14:51guy backstage, Brad. Cash goes well you cut a promo,
- 14:55get some heat. And I was like, what could I
- 14:57possibly say to set these wonderful people?
- 15:00You think he's like just say anything trust me.
- 15:03I go. All right, and I was like, most
- 15:05human beings I've ever seen use hair gel problem.
- 15:09Yeah, probably. Yeah.
- 15:10So I go, they go. Will make fun of like a sports
- 15:13team. I don't know.
- 15:14I don't, I don't make fun of sports teams and then he goes.
- 15:17Well, call them rednecks. Isn't I don't want to call them
- 15:21rednecks, that seems cheap. So I go out there and I go I go,
- 15:26everybody Told Me Not to Come to Rocky Top, Tennessee, but and
- 15:31then they start going crazy ago. But I disagree with that.
- 15:34I think this is a nice place. You have a Wendy's up the
- 15:37street, you guys can eat like, kings for four dollars and forty
- 15:41four said, you should be proud to be from Rocky Top Tennessee.
- 15:45Then they, there was no hard campsite was this.
- 15:47The hard cam is like some kid with a phone.
- 15:50I do this, the hard him right here.
- 15:52Of course, you couldn't afford a hard game, but that's okay.
- 15:55And the Flight of the flyer said, the flyer said, bring your
- 15:58own chair. So I go, I go.
- 16:02Well, I see that all of you brought your own chair and I'm
- 16:04really impressed that you could read the flyer.
- 16:07Well enough to know to bring your own chair.
- 16:09And someone was like, sitting on like a bin of like the thing,
- 16:12like you keep like Christmas ornaments and or whatever.
- 16:14I think, oh, this person brought the bin that they keep their
- 16:17This ornament that's it in, you could pick three people on that
- 16:20thing, you guys should be proud of yourselves and better and I
- 16:26was just, I couldn't even get the words and people were so
- 16:28mad. Like, I love it.
- 16:31Yeah, it was a, it was like Atomic.
- 16:32Yeah. I that's something I might be
- 16:36leaning into going into this year's doing a little more.
- 16:39He'll I've been playing a little more of the he'll roll on
- 16:41commentary. Yeah, especially in Jersey.
- 16:43I'm always, I'm always trajan Jersey on commentary.
- 16:47It's fun. It's fun playing the bad guy,
- 16:49sometimes. Yeah, it's, I mean, it's for
- 16:52when I first did the first couple XPW appearances, they
- 16:55were booing me, but then they kind of learn to like me, you
- 16:58know what I mean? And then towards the end, they
- 17:00were cheering me. But like, in the beginning, new
- 17:03circuit, really funny. That's when people are like, oh
- 17:05man, that's what a that's like. Like, when I go to Jersey, I'm
- 17:08always making fun of, I go for the cheap heat on commentary,
- 17:11but no one's really listening to commentary unless it listen to
- 17:13the show back. And then when people messaging
- 17:15like, you know, I listened to the show when you were very
- 17:16entertaining, like, oh, You have that means a lot.
- 17:19But and though I have all the rest like that, I feel like I'm
- 17:22doing a decent job when wrestlers are like you.
- 17:24I want to work an angle with you.
- 17:25Where like, we rival like a wrestler, I'm like, I'm sorry.
- 17:28I know I don't take bombs and I don't wrestle.
- 17:29So if your payoff is me taking a bump, it's never going to
- 17:32happen. I'm not Bobby Heenan out here.
- 17:34Yeah. But the fact that they want to
- 17:36engage with me because I'm decent at talking trash on
- 17:40commentary. So that's kind of fun.
- 17:42Yeah, yeah, that's good. That means you're doing a good
- 17:45job. Yes.
- 17:46His wrestling really is. Isn't you really realize the
- 17:49people that get over the most are like when you come out to
- 17:51the, you know, a cool theme song or when you look a certain way,
- 17:56like you can take all the bumps in the world, but you have to
- 18:00imitate what song you come out to.
- 18:02I just came out to a bunch of noise because I my first
- 18:07character was like a noise artist.
- 18:10Yeah. So I just come out to like, like
- 18:16the beginning of like, Mick Foley and Razor, Ramon like tire
- 18:21screeches and smashing, and yeah, but it's worse than that.
- 18:24It's really annoying like a bad. I've never got to come out to
- 18:30music because I'm a commentary guy, but I always joke around
- 18:32like if you ever have commentary music I want.
- 18:35Let's hear it for the boy. Yeah.
- 18:37That really cheesy song for I think it's from like Footloose.
- 18:41Yeah. Well you dance.
- 18:43Yeah. If you ever want to like a roar
- 18:45like a snack on the amount like Jr and JP.
- 18:47Jerry Lawler came out to the theme song so maybe you should
- 18:50watch him that and pay back if he's, you know, he's becoming
- 18:53bigger. So you know he's getting music
- 18:54when he comes out. He got a whole entrance of the
- 18:56rumble commentaries changing for people.
- 18:58Especially commentary people who break in that aren't from the
- 19:00wrestling business. We break in because of like
- 19:02content creating so yeah, it's getting a good path for people
- 19:06like me. But yeah, so one of the things I
- 19:10guess we kind of have a little bit in common is just from did
- 19:12like you said, music before wrestling and that's kind of
- 19:15where I got into I was I was helping with a band.
- 19:17A little bit like just the cut local cover band and I have a
- 19:20few buddies who give some cool things but it's so crazy.
- 19:24How much the independent music scene bouncing from bar to bar,
- 19:27a dive bar, dive bar and event. Then gig to Gig his so similar
- 19:32to Independent wrestling and the more gimmicky weird shit you do.
- 19:38The more you're going to get booked as a band.
- 19:40So people are doing weird. Funny things, absolutely.
- 19:44Yes. I booked puncture.
- 19:47Shows and a couple of small Punk Fest for years.
- 19:52I always just liked being a wrestling fan.
- 19:55I because I knew it was going to be stressful.
- 19:57I knew it was going to be like that but almost like kind of
- 19:59worse, you know what I mean? So I always was like I just like
- 20:02being a wrestling fan. I do still kind of miss being a
- 20:05wrestling fan because it was a lot less to worry about.
- 20:08He just left as soon as the show is over, you know what I mean?
- 20:12Well we do have a question the chat.
- 20:14If there's any question that pop up, you don't want to answer,
- 20:16you don't have to Have you have Rico Harris's, how is Rob black
- 20:21for successful? What is with his personality,
- 20:23and all? Now, he's a very polarizing
- 20:25figure. There has been well,
- 20:27documentation of raw black stories, and dark sides and
- 20:31stuff like that. That's out there.
- 20:33You know. Yes.
- 20:35Okay. So he is successful because he
- 20:38doesn't give up. He is not a quitter.
- 20:42I mean, he is persistent. He will shove himself down.
- 20:47Your throat until you just accept it.
- 20:50I think that's how he's successful.
- 20:52He doesn't give up. He doesn't go away.
- 20:55He backs up what he says he's gonna do and yeah, he's dead.
- 21:02That's how he's successful. How was it working with him?
- 21:06And when all that stuff was like, I mean the stuff the
- 21:08stories are ages old and now they kind of get resurfaced with
- 21:11me, you know? Yeah, New England storytelling
- 21:13and documentaries and stuff. How did how did you guys as a
- 21:16company in XP w? Navigate through those Waters.
- 21:20He, I mean he just kind of just keeps tracking along and he just
- 21:27He just keeps pushing and he just keeps pushing, and pushing
- 21:29and pushing. And he just, he knows people he
- 21:33knows people hate him and he accepts that and I think he
- 21:36likes that people 80. He gets off on me, he gets off
- 21:39on the Heat and He doesn't care what people say on the internet.
- 21:44He, I mean, he made a shirt that says, fuck Rob black.
- 21:48He sells a shirt that says, Spock Rob black.
- 21:50So I think definitely gets off on the controversy.
- 21:54Yeah, that's probably the best way to lean into.
- 21:56It is just just Dive headfirst, Right?
- 22:00I don't even know because I would try to be like, maybe we
- 22:04should, you know, not do this, not do there.
- 22:07Maybe I go people will freak out on the internet about this and
- 22:10he was just like, I don't give a fuck.
- 22:11Fuck. Oh man, I'm just be like, Okay,
- 22:15I guess the company that he's established and it's not really
- 22:21it's not really a people-pleasing company.
- 22:24Anyway, you guys are going to do what you do and and then I go
- 22:27down that route. You don't?
- 22:28I mean it's like you're gonna, you're gonna push the envelope,
- 22:30you're going to do things that people are gonna be like oh was
- 22:32that a good idea? And that's kind of what kind of
- 22:34want they lead into. And if they came out and
- 22:36apologized for everything, they wouldn't have that edge.
- 22:38And the scary kind of thing is is that there's people that want
- 22:42that, they really want a fence. Of angles, they really want that
- 22:45late 90s, shock value that I don't think works today.
- 22:49Yes, Springer rustling is what I like to call it Howard.
- 22:53Stern. Wrestling is what I'm going to
- 22:54call it. Ed even Howard Shades.
- 22:58You can even Howard change, but Rob didn't, but yeah, it's that
- 23:02very late 90s. Culture that I am kind of like
- 23:07dude. Oh, come on man.
- 23:09Like this is not cool. I thought when this cancel
- 23:14culture stuff was getting in like this and I'm not I'm not a
- 23:17hundred percent against it. I think there are some people
- 23:19out there who who needed to be called out, who needed to be
- 23:22addressed, who need to change the way they do things.
- 23:24And there's certain things in this business that we should not
- 23:26allow anymore. And there's certain things that
- 23:28shouldn't go down in this business anymore, and people
- 23:30should be treated treated with respect, and if they're not
- 23:32comfortable, they should be able to speak up.
- 23:33So in that aspect, I'm all for cancel culture but then it did
- 23:37get then it got to a point where like you couldn't talk about
- 23:39certain things. You couldn't do jokes about
- 23:41certain things. These certain things were taboo
- 23:42to talk about and I said this is only going to last as a society
- 23:46and as a culture so long and the people are going to revert back
- 23:49really hard on it, and it's going to be happy learning
- 23:52because once you tell someone they can't do something or say
- 23:54something or there's going to be that one person who's going to
- 23:57do it and then it's going to pop or just everybody's canceled.
- 24:01So there's nobody left. So it's just all canceled people
- 24:04like I can Over the fuck I want now, because I'm already
- 24:07canceled, that's what I think. I see a lot of especially what's
- 24:10happening in rustling. Now, a lot of people who were
- 24:12cancelled are just coming back out and they're like, hey, we're
- 24:15here. If this guy can do it in this
- 24:17guy can do in this guy can do it and Vince McMahon is allowed to
- 24:19do it, you know? I mean like what do we like,
- 24:22you're going to, you're going to not promote my pro-business but
- 24:25you're going to go to WrestleMania this year and and
- 24:28all my stuff's in public and Forbes talks about it and no
- 24:31one's saying a word and people are taking a paycheck from me.
- 24:35Hard to justify it you know what I mean?
- 24:37Oh absolutely. And like a back to this a lot of
- 24:41the fans that really embrace the bad parts of it.
- 24:46Those are those are some scary weird people and a lot of the
- 24:50wrestling fans are just you know nothing and XP W is blatantly
- 24:54racist. But a lot of the fans are just
- 24:57really catching on to the mega mega shit and just the type of
- 25:00people that they're catching on for the wrong reasons and I
- 25:04suck. And I was seeing a lot of that
- 25:06and like, and that was just kind of like very cringe to mean, it
- 25:10was like, this is not, I'm not comfortable with this, you know
- 25:13what I mean? Oh God, sir, that's, that's
- 25:16definitely fair that. I mean, that's, that's kind of
- 25:19what happened. A lot of me like, like,
- 25:21opportunities. Come for companies.
- 25:22I said, I'm not sure yet. Like, I'm not sure if I'm ready
- 25:24to dive into that because like, I'm not opposed of, I'm a fan of
- 25:30Comedy. I'm a fan of stand-up, I'm a fan
- 25:31of this and I know sometimes you're not like, they don't want
- 25:33you to, I'm a fan of her. Hardcore horror movies.
- 25:36And there's some people who say that there are certain things
- 25:38that shouldn't be done in horror movies and I say, like, that's
- 25:40what kind of makes it a horror movie, you know, that that
- 25:43uncomfortableness, that moment where you don't feel, okay?
- 25:46With what you're watching is kind of what makes that product
- 25:48good and and a hard to watch in certain aspects.
- 25:52So I definitely see how that how places in professional wrestling
- 25:56have that but it just like are you willing to put your stamp
- 25:58on? It is what it comes down to.
- 26:00Exactly and I mean I I didn't quit XP, obviously, you know
- 26:04what I mean? I was I was I wasn't gonna go
- 26:07anywhere. I'm not saying like I'm not
- 26:09saying I was uncomfortable or it was bad.
- 26:11I'm just, there were things that I was just like, oh, really.
- 26:15And I would speak up and robbed someone to be like, what are
- 26:18you? Why do you gotta be like that?
- 26:19What are you gonna? And it was, they would shut it.
- 26:22That they shut down things real quick.
- 26:24And also when something goes too far, they go.
- 26:28Oh, it's fake. You know what I mean?
- 26:29I'm like not really like how is like it's fake when he wanted to
- 26:34be fake. Fake.
- 26:35It's real. All those other times, you know
- 26:37what I mean? It was very a very just like
- 26:41pulling the wool over people's eyes to get away with what they
- 26:43want. Yeah.
- 26:46Yeah. No.
- 26:46I definitely. I and that happens more times
- 26:49than you'd like to admit in the professional wrestling world.
- 26:51Not just that company alone, you know?
- 26:53Yeah. Yeah.
- 26:54So what what example kind of rewind the clock here, you said
- 26:59you've always been arresting fan.
- 27:00What was that moment? What was that thing in?
- 27:02Professional wrestling growing up.
- 27:03That you seen you're like oh this is for me.
- 27:06That's a great question. I loved the theatrics, I love
- 27:09the characters. I love the humor.
- 27:12I loved all the goofy shit. I loved all the goofy 90s
- 27:15characters and the early 90s and I just like the entertainment of
- 27:20it. And then One Ring of Honor came
- 27:23out and I was like whoa these guys are really good athletes
- 27:27and these guys are really, they can be funny and they can really
- 27:31be athletic and they can really fight and that's when I was
- 27:34going like, okay there's more to just the funniness and
- 27:38entertainment. This is a real like sport.
- 27:42You know what I mean? So it was the cops already on a
- 27:44really made me fall in love with it, more than I've been before.
- 27:50I was a huge fan my entire life. Life.
- 27:53But I didn't, I just kind of saw it as a fun kind of thing to
- 27:55watch until then. Yeah.
- 27:59So you essentially, you went from watching guys, be like
- 28:02everyday. Occupation workers are like
- 28:04truck drivers and dumpster. I mean garbage truck collectors
- 28:10to like now they can do that but as well as be like insane
- 28:13athletes in the roh side, who's always talent that you seem to
- 28:16like oh boy, this is like I joined.
- 28:18This is jarring that they're clearly different breed of
- 28:21different wrestler. Dude, everybody on that roster
- 28:24the entire time you could send a guy like Matt Hardy there you'd
- 28:27be different, you know what I mean?
- 28:29Ring of Honor every match on the card from beginning to end was
- 28:33like real like it's the realest wrestling at ever seen in my
- 28:36life. It was like a real.
- 28:38Something about the Ring of Honor shows, just every match,
- 28:41every guy in the roster was just not like anybody else in any
- 28:46other company and you see what like when like Cesaro goes to
- 28:49WWE. You see that, but it's just
- 28:52There's something, there's something magical.
- 28:55There was something magical about Ring of Honor that just
- 28:58brought out something in every wrestler that you don't know.
- 29:03And that really made me be like, ring of up.
- 29:05Like everyone says, like, my favorite wrestling company was
- 29:08this, or that my favorite wrestling company of my favorite
- 29:11time in wrestling was the early Ring of Honor stuff because
- 29:14that's when I, that's what I was, you know, turning 18 and
- 29:17could drive around the shows. And that's when I first started,
- 29:20traveling, to wrestling show, Susan.
- 29:23That's when I really fell in love with wrestling.
- 29:25Was that early Ring of Honor stuff and all the way through
- 29:28Ring of Honor stuff. Yeah, yeah.
- 29:31And I mean, that kind of paved the way for what we watch now in
- 29:34professional wrestling. Like I've said numerous times on
- 29:37this show as well. Like listen, I know people love
- 29:40what's mainstream or what's popular.
- 29:41But if you like wrestling right now and you're saying like, hey,
- 29:44maybe the storylines are lacking, but talent-wise
- 29:47wrestling is better now than it's ever been in ring wise
- 29:50because of who's around. Those people can still work
- 29:53really fun angles. If you let them do it because
- 29:55they came from the roh as they came from g'kar, as they work,
- 29:58the C ZW s and GC W is like like the Northeast Wrestling scene is
- 30:04flooded with, just amazingly talented people and all, but
- 30:08maybe six people that are on TV right now.
- 30:10All came from this area, they're all born and bred Jersey.
- 30:14PA Delaware New York Connecticut wrestling even up to Boston
- 30:20wrestlers and it's It's insane. Like I think the Lesnar Roman
- 30:27and like Ronda Rousey and Charlotte.
- 30:30Every time you look just like a handful of the top, top people
- 30:32are the only ones who didn't really come from this system and
- 30:35everybody else especially on the aew, the NXT.
- 30:38Like the P. Like are all from this area and
- 30:40they have been grinding and it's kind of cool to see like people
- 30:43who you if you go back in the history books and look they've
- 30:45all came from those. Roh has like shit our wages.
- 30:48Essentially what made NXT black and gold the most successful
- 30:50brand on television And then like that and then it can exceed
- 30:54turned into a w. And the, you know, I mean it was
- 30:56just it was crazy. And most of them are like my
- 30:59age, I don't know how old you are.
- 31:00It was like, these are guys, my age like killing it, and just
- 31:04like doing so things that you never thought wrestling
- 31:08progress. It changed pro wrestling.
- 31:10And that's was like, that's how people little bit older than me.
- 31:13Look at ECW like this changed wrestling, but I was a little
- 31:17too young on ECW was around. So, Ring of Honor is like my,
- 31:20like this is what changed? Going.
- 31:22This is what made wrestling cool to me.
- 31:26However, he will saying to me like, oh, I rather watch ECW
- 31:29because it's legitimate. Let's just, let's just
- 31:31legitimately real. And I was like, and I remember
- 31:34because I was like, the younger. I was kind of a smarter fan.
- 31:36I was like, it's still definitely wrestling but no,
- 31:39they're definitely sticking each other with sharp objects and
- 31:42legit making themselves. Bleed.
- 31:44And I was like, this is crazy. Oh yeah.
- 31:47And I love you too. Yeah, but I'm a big ECW fans.
- 31:52But it's we've been going back and watching some old paper
- 31:55views and some of that stuff is tough to watch.
- 31:57I'm not well as I won't be easy W, I don't want to ruin her
- 32:00people but some of those people were not good at drinking like
- 32:04crazy it was so it was sloppy and they're doing things that
- 32:08never done been done before. So like um how do you, what are
- 32:13the different ways you can put someone through a table?
- 32:15Let's, let's Sabu, try. Whatever he wants to do, you
- 32:18know? And it was Louis happening,
- 32:20right Mo, there was bright people in.
- 32:22ECW that definitely and they would do crazy things.
- 32:25That would definitely outshine when people weren't very good.
- 32:28Like there's a few tag team matches are like, the undercard
- 32:30matches were like, they couldn't throw punches.
- 32:32They like they like, like their footwork was off.
- 32:35It was just like, just go in there and brawl not making like,
- 32:39yep. And I mean, we all know that
- 32:41there was a lot of drugs and alcohol and that type of shit
- 32:44going on in ECW and that you can tell when somebody's, like
- 32:47fucking hammered out there, you know.
- 32:49And they're trying some sloppy dangerous shit.
- 32:52You know, like what they were. They were like, that's gonna
- 32:55happen rustling. Now, is everyone's trying to be
- 32:57the new ECW and let's do that edgy.
- 32:59And then we don't care if what happens back stays or it's like
- 33:02controversy sells tickets and you're like, ooh, I mean, that,
- 33:05that's kind of stuff that should been left in the past, like,
- 33:08unprotected, headshots head, share, shots and stuff.
- 33:11It's like that's yeah, that's rough.
- 33:12Rico with another one here. Do you think the fans are
- 33:15turning the wrestling business doing a monopoly?
- 33:17More of the major companies only supporting mainstream promotions
- 33:20and even more talking shit. About the other companies, I
- 33:24would say yes. And well, I think the
- 33:26independent scene is bigger now. I think it's ever ever been
- 33:28ever. I think so too.
- 33:30And I'm going to say no, because I only, I mean, obviously, I in
- 33:35Deathmatch promotions, but I don't see anyone, Even I do most
- 33:40of the people I don't don't watch WWE or even 80 w at this
- 33:44point only. If one of our only if someone we
- 33:46know is going to be on, aw do we watch?
- 33:49Aw and we def I don't know who I don't know.
- 33:52Who the hell was in the Royal Rumble when I watched half the
- 33:54guys, I didn't I didn't know they were yeah I mean I
- 33:57definitely watch a mix of both but I think the independent
- 34:00seems now is so it's it's a lot easier to find them.
- 34:04It's easier to watch independent wrestling than it is impact and
- 34:07it is the New Japan. Pan, you know, I mean like you
- 34:09can literally go to. I WT V, it subscribe, and
- 34:12there's hundreds, and thousands of wrestling promotions are
- 34:15independent all over the world for one low fries.
- 34:18Now, you can get gcw on fight plus and then gcw with Phi,
- 34:22plus, is going to get your house, the glory, and all these
- 34:24other independent wrestling promotions in there.
- 34:26That are on there. Like your PP W is and
- 34:28everything. Like and then YouTube people
- 34:30have their entire catalog on their YouTube channels, its
- 34:33independent wrestling. This is is not hard to find and
- 34:36a lot of people you are watching on TV.
- 34:38That's Outside, the WB system are still putting matches on
- 34:41even though they're signed to other companies out in the
- 34:43independency. Yep.
- 34:44So I don't yes, I'm going to say no to that question.
- 34:48And there's so much you could know.
- 34:50I don't think anyone could keep up with the wrestling today.
- 34:53I asked me if anyone could? Yeah, I try and I just try what
- 34:58made mainstream stuff like you have r on Monday.
- 35:01Tuesday's NXT Wednesday's. Aw.
- 35:03Thursday is like impact. If you if you can find if you
- 35:06can if you're into it and then Friday your Ada Smackdown in.
- 35:09Aw, again. And then the weekends, it's just
- 35:12filled with independent stuff. It's hard to keep and then you
- 35:15have NWA, that's still there. You've gcw like, it's just, you
- 35:18know, hacked full of stuff. Yeah, I remember when that used
- 35:22to be three minor, when they just be three Star Wars movies.
- 35:28If you're, if you're an Enthusiast, you could know all
- 35:30the characters. And there were a lot of
- 35:31characters with three movies, you know what I mean?
- 35:34But you could have a beaut have a book and with pictures of our,
- 35:37you have all the Configure, as you go, there's hundreds of Star
- 35:40Wars characters. Just from these three movies and
- 35:43I think I can have a grasp on it, then three more movies, came
- 35:46out and you kind of like your basil.
- 35:48Like, you know, that one movie with a guy, stood in the
- 35:50background with the cool helmet. He has his own movie, you're
- 35:53like, wow. Yeah, you couldn't keep track of
- 35:56all the characters or even all the stories now and it kind of
- 36:01that, I feel like that happened kind of quick.
- 36:02Maybe I'm getting old, but that happened kind of fast.
- 36:06And I think wrestling is in the same thing.
- 36:08You used to be able to keep up with all the wrestlers and all
- 36:12the companies, and some of the weird companies even to, you
- 36:16could keep up with it, but I don't think anyone could keep up
- 36:18with it today. Yeah.
- 36:22So you know you said you're kind of brash not work in different
- 36:25states. What are some other promotions
- 36:26that people should keep an eye on our some Talent?
- 36:28That's out there, that that you're pretty proud, that you're
- 36:31proud of that. You see that you're seeing out
- 36:33there now besides the ones mentioned earlier, right?
- 36:36Well, I'm managing hardcore, he is a deathmatch wrestler, he's
- 36:41kind of like Wolverine. It seems like he likes the pain,
- 36:45it doesn't hurt either. He's a, he's a wild character
- 36:48and so him and I are going to be going to Detroit for Hold on,
- 36:54we're going to Detroit's. Yeah, hello.
- 36:59How those this in your little pocket.
- 37:01We're going to treat March 18th for True wrestling underground.
- 37:05And that's a no ring a deathmatch show and Chuck
- 37:09Stein's going to be on that. I have an eye on him.
- 37:11Basically, any Russell that's a punk I have my eye on and that's
- 37:15part of the big plan that may be coming.
- 37:18May be happening. I'm keeping an eye on all the
- 37:20punk rustlers. Things that exist in the world,
- 37:24not just in my area. So one of my favorite shows that
- 37:29happen every year in gcw, bringing it back this year and
- 37:32I'm sorry if this offends you I like all generals music.
- 37:34I I wouldn't consider myself as much as punk as I used to
- 37:38because I have branched out into so many vast different styles of
- 37:41music but I get really excited for the gcw emo shows and Emos.
- 37:45Just sad boy punk what we need more punk rock's like could you
- 37:52imagine a punk rock band shows up, just give them a small
- 37:54little corner because they're used to it.
- 37:56They and they play a couple songs in a wrestling match that
- 37:59happens or two that intermission they go and play a couple more
- 38:02and just like they'll like and it's perfect for those.
- 38:04No ring Deathmatch. Bar shows like down a piece on
- 38:08your ground. That's the first show I ever
- 38:09seen that it was no ring and they just fought on a stage and
- 38:12Fe and Paro just killed each other.
- 38:14And you know, I mean that's like that, that would be perfect for
- 38:18the punk rock scene, like people would eat that shit up.
- 38:21Absolutely Casanova. Valentine is, do it kind of
- 38:24doing stuff like that? Where a punk band.
- 38:26There'll be like two matches. So he's got his finger kind of
- 38:31on the pulse of that happening. And I'm a big fan of his
- 38:34obviously. And he so I think, I think Punk
- 38:38and wrestling because when you go to the show's, most of the
- 38:40people are dressed kind of Punky.
- 38:42And I include emo in that but mostly he's a very alternative
- 38:47crowd. The type of people that like the
- 38:50Deathmatch, no ring shows are an alternative bunch and I think
- 38:55when Started like proposing like that to like Robbie was like,
- 39:00Punk is dead or Punk is not cool.
- 39:02And it's kind of like, look at the audience.
- 39:04You know what I mean? Like, it's guys and girls my age
- 39:08or younger that are wearing leather, patchy jackets and
- 39:13stuff. Like, this is who likes this
- 39:15type of shit goodness. And it's not even that I want to
- 39:19make a million dollars off of him.
- 39:20I want them to feel like, this is my product, you know what I
- 39:24mean? Yeah.
- 39:25And I think, For me anyways. What were the reason I'm
- 39:28grasping on so hard to it. As I love independent, I love
- 39:31independent everything. I love that little guy taking
- 39:34down the big guy, or the little and that's Punk.
- 39:36That's being. I mean, and yeah, and I think a
- 39:38lot of people, how we're saying earlier, like, maybe you're
- 39:42leaning a little too hard in the storylines and maybe the people
- 39:45who are not putting on the storylines, are who they are
- 39:47portraying. But the people who are buying
- 39:49into it, maybe the that crowd and that does get uncomfortable.
- 39:52But I think a lot of people see like heavy metal and punk and
- 39:55emo and, and Mash wrestling, and they immediately think of one
- 39:59style of person. But if you look at like no peace
- 40:02underground, it looks like a really hardcore.
- 40:05I don't know how I want to be involved in that scene, and
- 40:08they're the most open Community to LGBT to every genre of
- 40:12person. And that's Punk to, like,
- 40:14people. Look at a pumpkin like, oh, he's
- 40:16probably a skinhead races, but that's the complete opposite of
- 40:18what Punk stands, we have everything.
- 40:20It's about, I always say, like, I have friends who, like grew
- 40:23up, they got me into Pi hip-hop and I got them in the Punk and I
- 40:27said the only difficulty no band is.
- 40:29You have a kid drawing. We have we have a real drummer
- 40:31but the message is still the same.
- 40:32It's poverty and white kids in poverty, black kids, trying to
- 40:36get out of a system and fighting against the establishment and
- 40:39it's the same message, just two different ways of going about it
- 40:43but it's neat and like you said like I think that's where your,
- 40:46your deathmatch and your metal scene in your punk scene.
- 40:49You're hardcore scene are all have the same mentality and some
- 40:52of the best wrestling shows that I experienced in 2022.
- 40:56Are And seen in the standings in the scenes of stuff.
- 40:59I didn't go to was when they in mixed breweries with wrestling,
- 41:02when they mix music with wrestling, when they mix Comic
- 41:06Cons with wrestling because you bring that outside audience, who
- 41:10not normally wrestling fans and it's some of the best fans ever.
- 41:12Like they buy into what's going on and they're better than
- 41:15wrestling fans sometimes ha. Yeah, absolutely.
- 41:18So I did. I do I do the punks picnic in
- 41:21Rochester every summer and it's just like 10, punk bands and
- 41:25it's not a park, it's outside. And Rob was like, let's do a
- 41:29deathmatch there and I was like, I don't know, man.
- 41:31These people haven't seen anything like that before.
- 41:34I don't want to get out of control because usually there's
- 41:36a fighter too, Justin General at the punks, picnic and I was like
- 41:40some of these people might not know what's going on and just
- 41:42start fighting, you know what I mean?
- 41:43I don't know. And he's like, no, let's just do
- 41:46it. So go.
- 41:46All right, fine. So I had body and green Phantom,
- 41:49come in from Canada and they, we did all the tubes and all the
- 41:53weapons and stuff. And I would say 85% of People
- 41:57there had never seen anything like that before and they ate it
- 42:01up and they loved it and it went really well.
- 42:04And there's in the videos the video got shared a million times
- 42:07because there's only Punk standing around.
- 42:10There's like motorcycles parked out there and shit and just I
- 42:14love it. People are just really like,
- 42:16what the fuck is this? Like where is this?
- 42:18What is this? Rochester New York.
- 42:20What the what the hell is going on in Rochester?
- 42:22New York, you know? Yeah.
- 42:24And it was green Phantom, what? I really hadn't seen too much of
- 42:28a while and hard body was still hard, but he was kind of before
- 42:31he started blowing up a little bit.
- 42:33So just to kind of guys breaking light tubes, over each other's
- 42:37heads and jumping off a picnic tables and stuff and people just
- 42:40like holy fuck like yeah what do one shot 12 is Devon's Brewer.
- 42:47Tony Devon's Brewery in downtown Pottsville they have like three
- 42:51city blocks, roped off and it just filled with beer tents and
- 42:54the Very middle of the street. A wrestling ring and they put
- 42:58wrestling on, dude, everyone's like stop grab beer and then
- 43:01went back to the ring and enjoy like and they're not wrestling
- 43:04fans. They were there for craft beer
- 43:06and like who cares, what wrestling and everybody really
- 43:09put in? Like they let their inhibitions
- 43:11now and they played into the characters.
- 43:13They were heckling they're like do something like and they were
- 43:15happy they knew that they knew what was happening.
- 43:18But they were having fun while they were doing it.
- 43:20And it was honestly, one of my favorite wrestling moments.
- 43:22I think going into this year, I think branching into those
- 43:25audiences is more Things up wrestling promoters should do is
- 43:28like I don't think this will work as we've never done it
- 43:30before. I'm telling you bring outside
- 43:32wrestling fans in and they will be your new fans and they will
- 43:35get into it. And and it makes people who are
- 43:38there that are wrestling fans have a more better like have a
- 43:40better time because they're like, yeah well they're getting
- 43:43into it. Like this is fun.
- 43:44Like it's really a good time. Oh absolutely.
- 43:47And there's just this there's a there's a and I hate to say this
- 43:51but people that have been in the industry for a long time, they
- 43:54get kind of stuck. With this is how things have to
- 43:57be and as someone who is a fresher face and I'm working
- 44:00with some fresher faces. They're like, now we can do this
- 44:03different and maybe it'll be cooler if we do it different,
- 44:06you know what I mean? And sometimes the right
- 44:08sometimes the wrong. But the guys that have been
- 44:11doing it for a longer less likely to take the risks.
- 44:14And whereas I'm just like I don't expect to be doing this in
- 44:1810 years, you know what I mean? So I don't have as much to lose
- 44:21as someone that's like, I'm in this in this forever.
- 44:25Where's I'm? They told me tomorrow.
- 44:28Get the fuck out of here. I'd be like, all right, I'll do
- 44:31something. I could run.
- 44:35Yeah, another one. That was fun.
- 44:37It was a brewery show is for Avery Goods last match and they
- 44:40did a like, an eight-man are for men scramble.
- 44:44Our a format of no, trios tag. I think it was, I don't
- 44:47remember, but it was Ultra Magnus black and, and like The
- 44:50Outsiders all when I guess each other and Ultra, Magnus came
- 44:53down to the ring, and then all you looked Already just went
- 44:56like this and his band just started rocking out.
- 44:59And for the first 15 minutes of the match was just them
- 45:02wrestling to his band. Going crazy, just making noise
- 45:05it was still and everybody like this is like I think what
- 45:13happens is is to put in music and they don't do it right.
- 45:17Hence we are humble that. Let's just put this guy in the
- 45:20middle of the ring and have him be the spectacle in the ring.
- 45:23No, no. People are coming to see what's
- 45:24happening in that ring. Put music on the stage and let
- 45:28it happen. You know what I mean?
- 45:29Like, you gotta it's it's not, it cannot be done.
- 45:34Like people just see those members of mania and it ruins it
- 45:36for everybody because you're like, oh, they just played the
- 45:38wrestler out, like there's other ways you could do it without us
- 45:41hunting, the wrestling show. Absolutely.
- 45:43And I mean, we still talk about the Misfits having three matches
- 45:47and WCW. You know what I mean?
- 45:49Like and they weren't good. And they had three matches and
- 45:53they weren't matches against anybody famous, but we Still
- 45:56talk about that. You know what I mean?
- 45:58So much out here said, Is it true that?
- 46:00Courtney, Love's lawyer contact you during a live stream.
- 46:04Is that true? They're not asking me either.
- 46:07Are they asking you? Oh, yes, Courtney Love's Laird.
- 46:10But we're cool. It's fine.
- 46:12Don't know. Yeah.
- 46:13The only time a woman has a small from Courtney Love.
- 46:15I heard, I heard some things friends were tight, it's okay.
- 46:21Yes, we're friends. Courtney Love and I go way back,
- 46:25it's fine. No big deal.
- 46:27But yes, I do. I did get a message in the
- 46:29morning. Is there, is there more to that?
- 46:32You can dive into, are you? In that one lone.
- 46:35Well, when you're dealing with a lawyer Anthony, I you don't you
- 46:41don't mess with the lawyer. Listen Courtney Love's first
- 46:47albums, still to this day of anger, you know?
- 46:50I don't have anything bad ass legally.
- 46:52I can't say anything about it. Yeah, we're going to leave it at
- 46:56that because like I said, I don't want Courtney Love Smoke.
- 46:59Don't want that. This person said they fought
- 47:01Courtney. Love in a bar.
- 47:03That's a wealthy, man. I wouldn't.
- 47:05Like I said, I won't Courtney Love Smoke.
- 47:07She's like, the dawn. Oh, I know.
- 47:12Okay, so, so, you know, way before I was in the scene,
- 47:17Courtney Love, Came to Rochester, and she stage-dive
- 47:22that a bar. And someone took the wedding
- 47:25ring that Kurt, Cobain gave her took it, and Kurt, Cobain had,
- 47:29like just died, like a couple years before that.
- 47:33She so she flips the fuck out gets under my skin.
- 47:37Who has the ring? My Me.
- 47:39Maybe the rain just fell down a sewer grate.
- 47:40You know what I mean? We don't know what happened to
- 47:42the ring but I'm just falling off.
- 47:46So she gets on the mic and she's like, who took the ring?
- 47:49And everyone's kind of like I don't know.
- 47:50And she started like attacking people that happened in
- 47:53Rochester. I don't I don't hate her for it.
- 47:57I would be honest, what? She was like a shit.
- 48:01She was like a fucked-up jump. She was definitely not on in the
- 48:05right state of mind either, but she's just lost, you know, one
- 48:09of our greatest number of greatest people in that ever
- 48:11lived on this planet I love me some cursed but yeah crazy was
- 48:15discovered it was never no one ever took the blame for it.
- 48:18I could have just maybe she never had the, I don't know.
- 48:21We don't know what happened. It seems as The Story Goes Is
- 48:25locally people dislike? She came, she acted crazy.
- 48:28She attacked my it'll be like, oh she attacked.
- 48:30Blah, blah, blah, you know them. I go.
- 48:32Yeah. Yeah.
- 48:33Oh she attacked them. That's a nice person.
- 48:35You know what? So she was attacking people and
- 48:37just going crazy in Rochester. That's the urban legend.
- 48:40But that yeah. That's that's why, that's why
- 48:42her lawyers on the chat. Yeah, yeah.
- 48:46Yeah. I guess I am not a, I could
- 48:50definitely see how that have a lot left issues, but not really
- 48:54efficient. Looks down and that's a prized
- 48:56possession. You know, that's gone.
- 48:58That's going to trigger anybody, especially around that time, you
- 49:00know. But all right, we're getting
- 49:02close to the end of the moment. If anyone has any more
- 49:04questions, please get him in there.
- 49:06Well, I have a question for you. So I'll usually do what we
- 49:09usually do. Like a draft, but we're not
- 49:10going to do a drop. I'm just going to ask you
- 49:12personally. I'm going to give you five
- 49:14albums yet. The pick five of your favorite
- 49:16punk albums. If people in the chat here, are
- 49:18going to say, hey I need new something new to listen to our
- 49:21something new to discover. What are your five?
- 49:24I've desert island punk rock albums.
- 49:27Now I'm putting you on the spot. I know there's no prep to this.
- 49:30You should have. Let me write this head of time.
- 49:34The Dead Boys record like the best.
- 49:37The number one Dead, Boys record.
- 49:38Can I just say, like, best of CDs.
- 49:41Yeah, passed away. Yeah, and burns.
- 49:42You can just say, bands of people can explore.
- 49:44Yeah, Buzzcocks Dead, Boys. Buzzcocks Dead, Boys.
- 49:52Damned muskox. Dead, Boys.
- 50:00Damned. I'm not going to say the cramps.
- 50:04I'm not going to see The Ramones.
- 50:07Back on the mainstream, Punk. Trying to think now that was
- 50:14too. That's too hard buddy.
- 50:16But here's all right. Here's what I'm going to tell
- 50:18you. I subscribe to a lot of YouTube
- 50:21pages that just post like whatever new Punk comes out and
- 50:25they updated like every day or something.
- 50:27I'll link you to that or where care if anybody cares.
- 50:31There's a couple YouTube Pages. I've basically I listen to like
- 50:36Something new two or three times a week and then I'll be, I'll be
- 50:41like, oh that's cool or like, oh, that's not so cool.
- 50:43That's what that up with all of this.
- 50:47Yes. So, um, basically, I can't see
- 50:51the chat. What are people saying?
- 50:52What are people saying? That's the best place on the 77
- 50:56Search and Destroy a DWI. Dri GHB, the casualties, the
- 51:01business, Yeah, there, that's a great list.
- 51:04That's a wonderful list, but I'm, I'll link their like, green
- 51:10day but they're Irish, they're like all Irish dudes or
- 51:13Scottish, dudes, but they sound a lot like old-school, dookie
- 51:15green day. If Pete, if you're still
- 51:17watching, tell me in the chat. What that van was.
- 51:20But little, if you close your eyes and didn't know you're
- 51:22listening to, you would think you're listening to Green Day,
- 51:24but they were really, really entertaining friend of yours.
- 51:28Told you about this. Lets them on the way to a car.
- 51:32On the way to a show. He's like, I told how I like
- 51:34green day and he's like, ever. Listen to this band.
- 51:36They are like a Scottish version of Green Day.
- 51:39Isn't it? Nice to have friends like that?
- 51:40That will show you new music. Those are the best friend's my
- 51:43favorite. If you have to chose your new
- 51:46music, that's the friend. You gotta take out the dinner.
- 51:49That's the friend. You gotta, you know, do you
- 51:51know? I don't know.
- 51:52Buy drinks, just a either Brandon here.
- 51:56It might be. I don't know.
- 51:57Kimberly steaks. I haven't heard of that, but
- 52:00I'll check that out. Maybe, I don't know if that's it
- 52:04or not. Well, let me know or let the
- 52:07people know. Yes Kimberly's, thanks there, a
- 52:11Scottish /, Irish, whatever they are Green Day, they sound like
- 52:15green, David like a three-piece band.
- 52:16They're really good, the drummer's fantastic but you can
- 52:19definitely see here when he's singing.
- 52:20He's definitely Scottish or Irish.
- 52:21He's it's really, really good and like that.
- 52:24And I saw Flogging Molly. Last year I was never a Flogging
- 52:27Molly fan. I want to see them live and I
- 52:30thought that was amazing. They put on our way.
- 52:33Good show. And like, it's not warm for the
- 52:35first time seeing guar is, like the best thing ever did.
- 52:39You get all blood and stuff? I have a, I have a little bit of
- 52:43a breeze. I don't take bumps and do
- 52:45something wrestling. I have a joint Disorder, so I am
- 52:47hypermobility problems. So I would probably get to a pit
- 52:50and get knocked down or dislocated knee or an ankle or
- 52:53shoulder. Yeah.
- 52:53And then my time would be not having fun anymore.
- 52:56So I stayed up in like a VIP section because my buddy, my
- 52:59buddy opened for Gore, there were called Crobat, so they
- 53:02invited us to the show and we were up in the up in the VIP
- 53:06area. But all my other friends went
- 53:08down and enjoy the pit. So I had a friend who wanted me
- 53:11to have a guar experience. So I bought the white shirt.
- 53:14She put it on when the pit got all.
- 53:15Fucked up for me and brought it back and gave me my guar shirt,
- 53:18but they were fun. They're fun live.
- 53:21They were sticky. I love sticky stuff.
- 53:23Like the cat. The character of the backstory
- 53:24is like ghost is another band. I really like just because of
- 53:27the backstories and the stuff, they like them.
- 53:30Like the pro wrestling aspect of it.
- 53:31It's fun. Yeah.
- 53:33Yup. Yup, yup.
- 53:34I if I had been there for the guara show with you, I would
- 53:37have got a glass of the blood and brought it up to you and
- 53:39dumped it on you to help use with the experience.
- 53:42That would have been cool. Yeah we can start that
- 53:45something. I was just I literally just
- 53:48drank beer and and enjoyed the show and had a great time.
- 53:51I had a really fun time. I thought they were very fun.
- 53:53Entertaining band. Absolutely.
- 53:55Yeah. They were there.
- 53:56They were, they were definitely interesting.
- 53:58And I went into war, I knew of guar like through CKY.
- 54:02And Bam, Margera. Sarah and that kind of stuff.
- 54:04But I never really liked sat down and listened to full albums
- 54:06and then we went to the show. So I went in with like, no
- 54:10expectations. So like when I sing Warwick,
- 54:12seeing go off for the first time, I didn't watch anything
- 54:14live. They don't have done because I
- 54:16want to experience what they were and it was definitely a, if
- 54:19you've never seen guar or even if you have just go, see them
- 54:22again. They're a really fun time.
- 54:24A friend of mine, got to go to the workshop, where they build
- 54:26all the costumes and all the props and shit.
- 54:28I'm really jealous. So my other buddy, my buddy
- 54:32opened. War and then my other buddy did
- 54:34backstage for guar. So he was in charge of the tubes
- 54:38and hitting the pumps and stuff like that was his job.
- 54:41So he now and then he did that for them and now on this tour,
- 54:45he's with I think he's with Anthrax, he's on tour with
- 54:47Anthrax right now. Wow.
- 54:48Okay. He gets like and he's like a
- 54:50guitar tech to so he's like a jack of all trades.
- 54:52Like, he can go, he's probably one of the best guitar, but I'm
- 54:54not just blowing them up. Like he's probably had be like
- 54:57top 10 top 15 Qatar player in the world but he's also such a
- 55:00good handyman when it comes to set building and guitar tech.
- 55:02And anything you lights sound, he could do all that.
- 55:05So he just gets jobs in the rest and the music industry and cool
- 55:08ship. Yeah, imagine having talent like
- 55:11that. I'm not really good at anything.
- 55:14I don't know. I'm not really good at anything.
- 55:16That's, that's remarkable. I'm always trying to be friends
- 55:19with people that are talented like, that can do things like
- 55:23that because I actually open for guar, they did it look up the
- 55:26band Crobat that was the van that opened for guar.
- 55:28It was, it was Crobat and then who was either been the open,
- 55:32they were really. Good neck, roll gobble it neck,
- 55:34low kamigamo gone or whatever. And it's a, it's like a punk
- 55:38band, but a guy gets on stage dressed as a goblin.
- 55:41And he just dances around like a hype, man.
- 55:44That sounds a compliment. It's amazing.
- 55:48And then like, they give the little Goblin guy like a ukulele
- 55:51and he acts like he's shredding on it.
- 55:52But he's really not playing it at all.
- 55:53But it just like he just got is a goblin hype man in the rest of
- 55:56the band is like a normal band. That's exactly what I want to
- 55:59see in a show. That's exactly what I'm going to
- 56:01blast. It was so much fun.
- 56:05If anyone's a fan of Steel Panther Crobat, actually going
- 56:08to be on tour with them as of right now.
- 56:10I think the rug torso neck, there it is.
- 56:13Necro, double coming. That's, that's exactly who they
- 56:14are, he nailed it. All right, perfect.
- 56:17Yeah, and the cool thing with that, as a guys in costume as a
- 56:19goblin and then pro wrestling gets off stage and then people
- 56:25line up to get their photo with the like, you know, like You get
- 56:28come in the ring and get a photo with the Goblin and they make
- 56:31bank. I love it was my face.
- 56:34Yeah. Can you sit on his lap for
- 56:38Christmas? Tell him what you want?

- 56:57want. Out there.
- 56:59I got a couple dates for shows that I wrote down on my piece of
- 57:02paper. Let's talk about it.
- 57:04All right. February 25th, in Rochester, New
- 57:07York, which is, this is actually the first show I've been on in
- 57:11my own town, besides the theater brutalities.
- 57:14This is my first time doing a show in my own City so that's
- 57:18kind of exciting. All my family and friends can
- 57:20come check it out. February 25th ewf, it's called
- 57:25My Bloody Valentine. I didn't come up with the name.
- 57:27Um, but yeah, I will be Talent scouting.
- 57:33I suppose I'm doing. A while.
- 57:40Oh, we lost them connection issue as well.
- 57:42I will, he's back. There you go, you're good.
- 57:46Yeah, said your be Talent scouting.
- 57:49Yep, and Shane Douglas will be there.
- 57:51Okay, I just seen Shane not too long ago.
- 57:54I show him in France and were there.
- 57:56The first time I think again March 18th true wrestling
- 58:06underground in Detroit, that will be a show.
- 58:09I'll be a time. We talked about that earlier and
- 58:12May May 27. In Toronto.
- 58:16The Death Proof tournament. Those are the three dates I have
- 58:20booked right now. I'm really looking forward to
- 58:22the Toronto show because the Death Proof company was kind of
- 58:26what got me into death matches. They do a show.
- 58:31It's like a bar. Sure, they have a ring but it's
- 58:32like in a bar and it's just real and archaic and everyone's
- 58:36Canadian and everyone loves Canadians.
- 58:39So those are so I mean, like really, it was kind of like I've
- 58:42always want to work with Death Proof and it was That they
- 58:45reached out to me and I'm really looking forward to that.
- 58:49That's awesome. Yes.
- 58:50Well, where can people find you on social media?
- 58:53I know the links are below but put your stuff out so people can
- 58:55go follow you so they can always stay up-to-date with you and
- 58:58find you at these shows the rustling all the wrestling stuff
- 59:02is on my wrestling account. I think it's high pitch will
- 59:05management but I'm going to change it soon because some
- 59:08there's some things that are going to be changing but um it's
- 59:11hard part High Pitch Eric ever. Send you the cease-and-desist
- 59:14letter. Of using the name.
- 59:16No, but I feel like I kind of want to fight him for it.
- 59:18You know what I mean? You should fight.
- 59:21I want to fight him. I he's bigger than I am, but I
- 59:24think I could take him. And I think what?
- 59:27Like just because you're big doesn't mean you're like,
- 59:28stronger. You know?
- 59:29I mean just major factor. Exactly.
- 59:31And I think I think we should. I think we should have a fight
- 59:35for the name. I agree.
- 59:36I think that's what I would like to do.
- 59:38I so know I'll fight them but also I don't I'm not really
- 59:42trying to keep that name. You know what I mean?
- 59:44It was Just gonna give it was kind of just given to me by Rob
- 59:48black. Who's like I said stock in the
- 59:50late 90s so I'm kind of not feeling myself as that, but I
- 59:55mean, if it pops shit that appreciate that, but I think
- 59:58you, I think you bring more to the table than just your voice,
- 1:00:00you know. Yeah.
- 1:00:02And I think it'll pop up on flyers and I'm not going to say
- 1:00:05that's not what I go by, but I'm not selling it as that.
- 1:00:09And there will be more to come hopefully in the next couple
- 1:00:12months that will put that Way. Anyways, so yeah, put it to put
