- 0:59Speaker 2: show Girl officially out. I'm sure has broken a bajillion
- 1:03Speaker 2: records by now, oh totally, or they created new ones
- 1:06Speaker 2: for it.
- 1:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I think that's also true. It's a both and situation.
- 1:11Speaker 2: It's right, it is both a big day for Taylor
- 1:13Speaker 2: Swift and it is and wait, it is both.
- 1:16Speaker 3: It's a both.
- 1:17Speaker 2: It's also a big day for me. Ye okay, today
- 1:20Speaker 2: is flannel Friday and is rocking a flannel today. I'm
- 1:24Speaker 2: rocking a flannel with no sleeves on. I know I
- 1:27Speaker 2: look like an idiot, but you can't be the Flannel
- 1:31Speaker 2: Friday guy and not participate. I know it's gonna be
- 1:35Speaker 2: ninety degrees today, it is gonna be tough sledding for
- 1:37Speaker 2: the flannel wearers today.
- 1:39Speaker 3: But we are dedicated. We're committed to the bit, and
- 1:42Speaker 3: that's what I love about us. I will say this though, Gabe,
- 1:45Speaker 3: I you know I put on my flannel. It's a
- 1:47Speaker 3: lightweight one. I got a tank top under. You know,
- 1:49Speaker 3: I've got a contingency plan in case I just start
- 1:51Speaker 3: sweating buckets. But I am participating because I just know
- 1:57Speaker 3: that you are all about flannel Friday and I like
- 2:00Speaker 3: to be part.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Of the group.
- 2:02Speaker 3: But where did this even start? Because I didn't ever ask.
- 2:05Speaker 3: I was just like flannel Friday. I'm in So please
- 2:08Speaker 3: tell me what is the origin story?
- 2:10Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 2:10Speaker 2: So you might remember this from last year, remember last November.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Bringing this to Big ninety eight point seven. This all
- 2:16Speaker 2: started with my chemistry teacher, mister Crabtree. When I was
- 2:19Speaker 2: a sophomore in high school. There was a random Friday
- 2:23Speaker 2: that we both happened to put a flannel on.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Oh, you were twinsies with your teach pretty much.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Yeah, And we had kind of joked like, oh, next week,
- 2:31Speaker 2: and we did it, and they were like, oh, how
- 2:33Speaker 2: about next week?
- 2:34Speaker 1: And we did it again.
- 2:35Speaker 2: So for this month we just kind of did it
- 2:36Speaker 2: as this joke and then we kind of sort of
- 2:38Speaker 2: just made it a.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Thing with him and I.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Well, then my buddies jumped on, and then other kids
- 2:43Speaker 2: in the school jumped on, and before you knew it,
- 2:45Speaker 2: there were people doing it all in the school, which
- 2:48Speaker 2: was very cool.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Gabe. Were you the original influence?
- 2:53Speaker 1: I might have been. I might have been.
- 2:55Speaker 2: And then, you know, my radio life brought me to Winona, Minnesota,
- 2:59Speaker 2: where there are people who do flannel Friday there every
- 3:02Speaker 2: single Friday in October, and October is kind of the
- 3:05Speaker 2: official kickoff to it. Yeah, but you do it all
- 3:07Speaker 2: the way until the weather warms up, and there are
- 3:09Speaker 2: people in Winona Minnesota who do this every single Friday.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Okay a people in like the Cedar Rapids slash Waterloo
- 3:16Speaker 2: area in Iowa who do flannel Fridays every Friday.
- 3:20Speaker 1: I just had this woman message me and she was.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Like, hey, I remember when you were on the radio
- 3:25Speaker 2: in Iowa. I just wanted to let you know. I
- 3:27Speaker 2: think she's in fifth or sixth grade. My sixth grade
- 3:30Speaker 2: daughter is trying to wear a flannel to school today
- 3:33Speaker 2: and it's ninety degrees outside.
- 3:35Speaker 3: Well, who cares? You gotta do it? Okay, So now
- 3:38Speaker 3: FM Maria, you are officially part of Flannel Friday tag
- 3:43Speaker 3: us in your flannel pictures.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Some good news for Swifties, by the way, brand new
- 3:52Speaker 2: album Life of a Show Girl.
- 3:54Speaker 1: You're gonna get to hear songs on.
- 3:55Speaker 2: That album sprinkled out throughout the entire day here on
- 3:59Speaker 2: Big ninety eight points. Yeah, we might as well change
- 4:01Speaker 2: it to Swift ninety eight point seventime.
- 4:03Speaker 3: I like that. I like that.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Do you have a little victory Gabe?
- 4:06Speaker 3: Actually, why don't we just like joint little victory this?
- 4:10Speaker 3: Because I'm really excited about this too. It is Pilano Friday,
- 4:15Speaker 3: and I know the weather still is in hot mode. Okay,
- 4:19Speaker 3: summer is hanging on as long as it possibly can.
- 4:23Speaker 3: But I got up this morning and I thought, I
- 4:25Speaker 3: don't care. It's October, the first weekend in October. I
- 4:28Speaker 3: mean the first Friday in October. That's the start of
- 4:30Speaker 3: flannel Friday. I'm not gonna let my boy Gabe down
- 4:34Speaker 3: because in my heart I knew, some way, somehow you
- 4:37Speaker 3: would be rocking a flannel. So I was like, you
- 4:39Speaker 3: know what, I'm gonna rock one too. So I am,
- 4:42Speaker 3: in fact wearing a filannel.
- 4:45Speaker 2: That's right now. I know that I look like a
- 4:48Speaker 2: complete donkey here at work. Okay, we have to.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Post a picture of this on the Big ninety eight
- 4:52Speaker 3: point seven facebook page. Now.
- 4:54Speaker 2: I did bring a another shirt, a regular shirt, for
- 4:59Speaker 2: after this show is done here today, just in case
- 5:02Speaker 2: HR gets called because they got tickets to the gun show.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Oh my yes, I have got on a flannel this
- 5:09Speaker 2: morning with no sleeves.
- 5:11Speaker 1: These bad boys have been cut off.
- 5:13Speaker 2: You've actually probably seen a picture of me in this
- 5:15Speaker 2: flannel if you've ever been to the Big ninety eight
- 5:17Speaker 2: point seven facebook page. I love this flannel, but I
- 5:20Speaker 2: did want to make sure I got it done. You
- 5:22Speaker 2: can't be the king of flannel Fridays, the originator of
- 5:25Speaker 2: flannel Fridays with your chemistry teacher, which we will get
- 5:28Speaker 2: into later on here today on how the whole thing started.
- 5:30Speaker 2: But you can't be the crowned king of Flannel Friday
- 5:35Speaker 2: and not get the job done.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Okay, exactly, come Hecker high Water.
- 5:39Speaker 2: I got it done here this morning and we'll probably
- 5:42Speaker 2: be sweating by about noon.
- 5:44Speaker 3: Well, as your call host, you can't be the king
- 5:46Speaker 3: and then me not participants. What kind of a monster
- 5:49Speaker 3: would I be? But I will say, because it is hot,
- 5:52Speaker 3: I'm definitely where. It's very lightweight and it's very easy
- 5:55Speaker 3: to slip off, and I got a tank top under
- 5:57Speaker 3: so you know, I have a contingency plan.
- 6:00Speaker 2: There's a nice breeze that can be built exactly exactly.
- 6:03Speaker 3: But yeah, flannel Friday, it's a victory for all of us. Also,
- 6:06Speaker 3: if you are participating in flannel Friday, whether it's an
- 6:10Speaker 3: accident or on purpose, send us your flannel Friday pictures.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Tag us on Facebook, tag us on Instagram. At Big
- 6:18Speaker 3: nine eight seven FM, we want to see you in
- 6:20Speaker 3: your flannel on the way.
- 6:22Speaker 1: We have got Luke Colmbs. We also have some tea
- 6:25Speaker 1: coming up.
- 6:25Speaker 2: We auditioned all about Taylor today as her brand new album,
- 6:30Speaker 2: The Life of a Showgirl has been released.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Angie's actually been able to listen to a chunk of it.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Yeah, I listened to the entire olbum.
- 6:37Speaker 1: You got the whole thing done.
- 6:38Speaker 3: I do my homework, sir. I'm a rule follower.
- 6:42Speaker 2: And I exist. My wife was playing the dating game, Angie.
- 6:53Speaker 1: It was a bogus.
- 6:55Speaker 2: I was so irate I almost went and wrote a
- 6:57Speaker 2: Taylor Swift song.
- 6:58Speaker 3: Oh my gosh. Okayabe, there's no way. Please explain, because
- 7:03Speaker 3: there's no way. You guys just celebrated your second winning anniversary.
- 7:06Speaker 1: This is really dating.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Who would have thought cotton anniversary meant nothing? Okay, I
- 7:12Speaker 2: should have bought more of them T shirts.
- 7:14Speaker 3: Gabe, Explain, because you're making your wife sound really bad
- 7:18Speaker 3: on air. Right now.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Okay, So my wife and I were laying in bed and.
- 7:24Speaker 2: I get this message from her on Facebook, and it
- 7:27Speaker 2: is from It's like where single people in Minnesota can
- 7:32Speaker 2: upload a picture of themselves and like a little bit
- 7:34Speaker 2: of a profile kind of thing. It's sort of like
- 7:36Speaker 2: a dating app on Facebook, right, Okay, And she sends
- 7:41Speaker 2: me this and I'm going oh, interesting singles in Minnesota.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Huh.
- 7:45Speaker 2: And she was like, I have no clue how I
- 7:47Speaker 2: accidentally sent that to you.
- 7:49Speaker 1: So this thing shows up on Facebook.
- 7:51Speaker 2: She likes getting her popcorn out like the Michael Jackson
- 7:54Speaker 2: gift and going in and reading all the drama in
- 7:56Speaker 2: the comments, people getting dry, that people get roasted. Some
- 8:01Speaker 2: people are I'm sure super hot, yeah you know. And
- 8:05Speaker 2: I was like, oh, and why would there be a
- 8:08Speaker 2: singles in Minnesota thing on your FB? And then she
- 8:12Speaker 2: was like, well, if you go look to the top
- 8:14Speaker 2: you can see I don't follow it. I don't know
- 8:17Speaker 2: what's in the Facebook algorithm.
- 8:18Speaker 3: But sure, Corey.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Exactly right. But I did have a good laugh at that.
- 8:24Speaker 2: We had a good laugh at that yesterday at Unhinged.
- 8:26Speaker 2: But I tell you what, you celebrate it to your anniversary.
- 8:29Speaker 2: It means nothing, no.
- 8:30Speaker 3: Because she's looking at prospects in Minnesota.
- 8:33Speaker 2: That's right, hey, fellas. Just so you know, you could
- 8:36Speaker 2: celebrate a to year anniversary. And I just want you
- 8:39Speaker 2: to know there's always someone next. Okay, there's always someone
- 8:43Speaker 2: on deck, you know what game?
- 8:45Speaker 3: Actually, I like this. I think you need to be
- 8:47Speaker 3: kept on your toes. I don't hate it.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Cory.
- 8:49Speaker 3: I like it keeps them on the roster just in case.
- 8:52Speaker 1: That's right on me there. Yeah, that sounds very me.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Like it is. It was very game coded.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Angie.
- 9:03Speaker 2: There was something yesterday and unhinged in the parking lot.
- 9:06Speaker 2: I noticed, and I just got to make sure it
- 9:07Speaker 2: is all all right in the Angie world.
- 9:10Speaker 1: I don't know if you know this, but when I
- 9:11Speaker 1: got to the parking lot, it unhinged, right.
- 9:13Speaker 3: I saw you when you parked.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I parked and we kind of waved or whatever
- 9:17Speaker 2: I got out was going into unhinged.
- 9:19Speaker 1: She gets set up.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Yeah, and you looked very animated in your car with
- 9:24Speaker 2: your boyfriend Mikey or Mike Yeah.
- 9:27Speaker 1: I mean, ladies, have you ever done this where you?
- 9:30Speaker 2: I mean you are going in and you're doing the
- 9:32Speaker 2: old back of the palm hits the front of the
- 9:35Speaker 2: palm smack while you're talking. It's kind of like people
- 9:37Speaker 2: who talk like this. Yeah, Angie, you were. It looked
- 9:41Speaker 2: like you were. I right, if you noticed. I waved
- 9:44Speaker 2: and then kind of didn't turn back around walking into unhinged.
- 9:48Speaker 3: Yeah, you waved and we both waved back. Mikey and
- 9:52Speaker 3: I both waved at you. But then you just kept walking.
- 9:55Speaker 2: It looked like I'd caught you in a parking lot,
- 9:57Speaker 2: like domestic fight or something. I don't know what was
- 9:59Speaker 2: going on when as I was walking in, all I
- 10:03Speaker 2: could think was is is Angie about to she about
- 10:06Speaker 2: to box this?
- 10:07Speaker 3: Dave?
- 10:08Speaker 2: Stop, explain what happened because I was a bit worried
- 10:12Speaker 2: on what was going on in that car.
- 10:13Speaker 3: Oh that's funny, because then we went and we hung
- 10:15Speaker 3: out unhinged for big happy hour and you didn't say
- 10:18Speaker 3: anything to us. And it's because you thought that we
- 10:21Speaker 3: had gotten into like a fight.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought you guys were arguing in the front
- 10:24Speaker 1: seat of your car, and then we were.
- 10:25Speaker 3: Just pretending everything was fine when we were hanging out
- 10:27Speaker 3: of unhead.
- 10:29Speaker 1: I have a WiFi.
- 10:30Speaker 2: I've been there, like, all right, we're gonna hack this
- 10:32Speaker 2: out for two hours. We're gonna put on our game
- 10:34Speaker 2: face and then get home and continue over.
- 10:36Speaker 3: That's funny. I have done that, so let me not
- 10:38Speaker 3: act like I'm a stranger to that. But no, that
- 10:41Speaker 3: wasn't that. This is what happened. Is I got and
- 10:45Speaker 3: I can't I'll reveal later on, but I got some
- 10:49Speaker 3: piping hot tea yesterday in your personal life. Yes, about
- 10:53Speaker 3: my ex. Oh yes, so.
- 10:56Speaker 1: That's where the animation came.
- 10:57Speaker 3: Yes, and so I had a lot of things to
- 11:00Speaker 3: say about this piping hot tea. But no, I was
- 11:03Speaker 3: not mad at Mikey. I just I talk with my
- 11:06Speaker 3: hands a lot, Like even when we're sitting here in
- 11:09Speaker 3: the I feel like, oh my gosh, wait, when we're
- 11:13Speaker 3: doing the show, Gabe and people walk past these windows. Yeah,
- 11:17Speaker 3: do they think that I'm yelling at you? When't mad?
- 11:20Speaker 1: One hundred percent?
- 11:21Speaker 2: Why do you think everyone is so nice to me
- 11:23Speaker 2: in this building because they're so worried I'd spend four
- 11:26Speaker 2: hours a day getting yelled at.
- 11:27Speaker 3: That is crazy, because I do treat you like trash. No,
- 11:31Speaker 3: I'm just kidding. No, yeah, no, I'm just an animated talker.
- 11:35Speaker 3: And but it was one hundred percent nothing bad about Mikey.
- 11:39Speaker 3: He's I love him and it's National Boyfriend Day today,
- 11:42Speaker 3: So Mike you're my favorite. I love that you're my boyfriend.
- 11:45Speaker 3: I would never yell at him like that in public.
- 11:50Speaker 2: I thought he had left a dirty spatula on the
- 11:53Speaker 2: counter again or something.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, you know, I do hate that. Love
- 12:01Speaker 3: is Blind is back for season nine. It's based in Denver,
- 12:07Speaker 3: and so I am obviously watching. I'm a huge Love
- 12:10Speaker 3: is Blind fan. I found out yesterday, Gabe that your
- 12:14Speaker 3: wife Corey also likes Love is Blind. She does, and
- 12:18Speaker 3: we got into a discussion about what our edit would
- 12:23Speaker 3: be if we were on the show. So you're watching
- 12:26Speaker 3: a reality TV show and the editors can do whatever
- 12:30Speaker 3: they want with the footage to paint you in whatever light,
- 12:33Speaker 3: because the point is, as much as we want these
- 12:36Speaker 3: people to find love on Netflix, we also wanted to
- 12:40Speaker 3: be drama. We wanted to be messy, and we wanted
- 12:43Speaker 3: to be interesting. So these contestants are at the mercy
- 12:47Speaker 3: of the editors. And I was thinking, you know what,
- 12:51Speaker 3: if I were on Love is Blind, if I were
- 12:53Speaker 3: on any reality show, I think that it would be
- 12:57Speaker 3: really easy to edit me in a way that paints
- 13:01Speaker 3: me as an absolute insufferable monster. Because I'm someone who
- 13:07Speaker 3: cries a lot. I'm a cry baby. Everything makes me emotional.
- 13:11Speaker 3: I just be that way. And in the grand scheme
- 13:14Speaker 3: of life, you know, when I'm living twenty four hours
- 13:16Speaker 3: a day, it doesn't seem like a lot of crying.
- 13:19Speaker 3: But if you're on a reality show, they can edit
- 13:22Speaker 3: together every single time you've cried to essentially make a
- 13:25Speaker 3: montage of you being a cry baby, which is exactly
- 13:28Speaker 3: what they would do. So I would be insufferable because
- 13:32Speaker 3: I cry a lot. But then also and gave you
- 13:35Speaker 3: know this, because you work with me every day when
- 13:38Speaker 3: we are not on air, sometimes I make really dark jokes.
- 13:44Speaker 3: I feel like that's how I deal with grief and
- 13:47Speaker 3: trauma is making inappropriate jokes. And then if you have
- 13:51Speaker 3: cameras on you all day, it's hard to, like, you know,
- 13:55Speaker 3: censor yourself to not do those things. So I would
- 13:59Speaker 3: be insufferable because of my tears, and then a monster
- 14:02Speaker 3: because they would just stitch together a montage of me
- 14:05Speaker 3: making the worst darkest jokes in the history of America.
- 14:09Speaker 1: You'd be Croella de Ville with tears.
- 14:12Speaker 3: Yes, oh my god, that would be my edit. What
- 14:17Speaker 3: would be your edit? What do you think they would
- 14:18Speaker 3: paint you as?
- 14:20Speaker 1: Are you kidding me?
- 14:21Speaker 2: I would be the golden child because I would be
- 14:23Speaker 2: sucking up to those editors every darn day. I'd be
- 14:27Speaker 2: getting the coffee, letting him know how great they are.
- 14:29Speaker 3: I don't think that would backfire.
- 14:31Speaker 2: I'd be letting him know how great they are, how
- 14:33Speaker 2: great their outfit looks that day. How smart and funny
- 14:37Speaker 2: and talented it is that they can make a show
- 14:39Speaker 2: like this so interesting. You know me, I'd get a
- 14:42Speaker 2: good edit, or they'd paint me as the guy who
- 14:46Speaker 2: doesn't care and is just there to party.
- 14:48Speaker 3: Oh okay, see that's the edit. Yeah, scratch everything you
- 14:51Speaker 3: just said. The edit that you would get is that
- 14:53Speaker 3: you're more like a frat boy. Sure, and everyone online
- 14:56Speaker 3: would be like, he's not there for the right reason.
- 15:00Speaker 1: That's right. I'm just there to booze and enjoy my weekend.
- 15:03Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Seven one two eight zero one nine eight seven. What
- 15:07Speaker 2: edit would you get if you were on Love Is Blind?
- 15:11Speaker 2: Let us know this morning, and if you wanted to add,
- 15:13Speaker 2: what edit do you think they would give Angie or myself?
- 15:17Speaker 2: Maybe it's different than frat boy or Kuela Deville with tears?
- 15:20Speaker 1: All right? Seven one eight zero one.
- 15:26Speaker 3: That's he is pipe and hot today.
- 15:28Speaker 2: I'm gonna show you how he's done.
- 15:29Speaker 3: See and now let's fill the tea. Whoopsie, thank you.
- 15:36Speaker 3: Also out today the release party of a show Girl
- 15:40Speaker 3: in theaters. Now here's what you can expect. Hey, it's Taylor.

- 15:59Speaker 4: Life of a show Girl, Only in theaters October third
- 16:02Speaker 4: through fifth.
- 16:03Speaker 3: Yeah, you've only got this weekend to catch it. We
- 16:05Speaker 3: did give away passes to Tanya just a little bit ago,
- 16:09Speaker 3: so congrats to her. Unhappy October third, which used to
- 16:13Speaker 3: be Mean Girl's Day, which you know what it is,
- 16:16Speaker 3: Mean Girl's Day on October third. He asked me what
- 16:18Speaker 3: date it was. It's October third. Let us not ever
- 16:21Speaker 3: gloss over that, Okay, It's just that this October third
- 16:25Speaker 3: was the release of the Life of a Showgirl, and
- 16:27Speaker 3: we'll be playing songs off the new album all throughout
- 16:31Speaker 3: the day right here on Big ninety eight point seven,
- 16:36Speaker 3: Mariah Carey has finally addressed that infamous beef she had
- 16:42Speaker 3: with em and m back in the day and how
- 16:46Speaker 3: she feels about it now.
- 16:47Speaker 5: This summer, a music producer claimed the real reason why
- 16:51Speaker 5: you and m Andem started beefing was because he approached
- 16:55Speaker 5: you about playing his mom in eight Mile is there
- 16:57Speaker 5: any truth to that?
- 16:59Speaker 3: From what I heard, there is truth to that, but
- 17:01Speaker 3: I don't think that he actually will. Who knows who
- 17:05Speaker 3: approached true? But was it something did that ignite the beef?
- 17:11Speaker 5: No?
- 17:11Speaker 3: I mean maybe it depends what he's thinking. I really
- 17:15Speaker 3: don't care.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Did she did she answer that question at all?
- 17:19Speaker 3: No?
- 17:19Speaker 1: She did tap dance around that entire thing.
- 17:21Speaker 3: She has a way of doing that that Mariah Carey.
- 17:24Speaker 3: I respect it because, if I'm being honest, I think
- 17:28Speaker 3: absolutely that's what started the feud because they were, you know,
- 17:32Speaker 3: they have like a fling or they kind of dated
- 17:34Speaker 3: or whatever.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Sure, so if then he.
- 17:37Speaker 3: Was like, hey, do you want to play my mom?
- 17:41Speaker 3: Absolutely not, and I would be like, yes, that's exactly
- 17:44Speaker 3: why I'm upset. But now I like that. She's like, no,
- 17:47Speaker 3: it's okay. I don't even care about it now.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Yeah old well, young old Mariah would have that would
- 17:54Speaker 2: have escalated. Yes, mature Mariah let it roll off her shoulder.
- 17:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I like it. Like that. I am obsessed with
- 18:07Speaker 3: that song. Maybe Bad Bunny will bring Cardi b out
- 18:10Speaker 3: with him on the super Bowl halftime stage. I don't know.
- 18:15Speaker 3: But you can also catch Bad Bunny if you haven't
- 18:18Speaker 3: seen anything with him in it, then A, you didn't
- 18:20Speaker 3: watch Happy Gilmore too, But he's doing something this weekend
- 18:24Speaker 3: that you can catch him in. Hi, I'm bout Bunny
- 18:27Speaker 3: and I'll be hosting the season premiere of S and
- 18:29Speaker 3: L this week with Doya cap So Bad Bunny, are
- 18:32Speaker 3: you excited about.
- 18:34Speaker 1: The Super Bowl?
- 18:35Speaker 2: Yes?
- 18:35Speaker 3: No?
- 18:36Speaker 5: No?
- 18:36Speaker 3: For hosting SNL this week? Uh? Yeah, not too.
- 18:40Speaker 1: I think a very fair realistic answer.
- 18:42Speaker 3: Exactly. I like that, So catch Bad Bunny this weekend.
- 18:45Speaker 2: Yeah, the Super Bowl global thing. Hundreds of millions of
- 18:49Speaker 2: people watch it. Yeah, I'm really jacked about that. SNL.
- 18:54Speaker 2: You know, maybe five four or five million people watch it.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Something kind of cool.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm I'm one of the few that's like still
- 19:01Speaker 3: a die hard SNL fan.
- 19:03Speaker 2: I don't know the last time I sat down and
- 19:05Speaker 2: watched a SNL. I was watching it on the YouTube
- 19:08Speaker 2: after the fact.
- 19:09Speaker 6: That counts, no, because it's Saturday Night Live, So no,
- 19:13Speaker 6: it does not count.
- 19:21Speaker 2: All right, we have Gabes good news of the day,
- 19:24Speaker 2: And speaking of flannel Friday.
- 19:26Speaker 1: If you miss this way earlier this.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Morning, you might remember last year in November bringing I
- 19:34Speaker 2: bought Flannel Friday to Big ninety eight point seven. It's
- 19:37Speaker 2: something I've been doing for a long time, literally since
- 19:39Speaker 2: I was sixteen years old, So can you do the math?
- 19:42Speaker 2: What is for eighteen years I have been doing Flannel
- 19:46Speaker 2: Friday and I haven't missed a single one of them
- 19:49Speaker 2: for eighteen years.
- 19:50Speaker 1: And it is.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Really just kind of this goofy, funny thing that I
- 19:54Speaker 2: started with my chemistry teachers. So my good News of
- 19:57Speaker 2: the day today is about mister Crabtree, chemistry teacher. When
- 20:01Speaker 2: I was a sophomore in high school, him and I
- 20:03Speaker 2: showed up to school both wearing a flannel that just
- 20:05Speaker 2: happened to be on a Friday one day, and we
- 20:08Speaker 2: had kind of joked about doing it the next Friday.
- 20:10Speaker 2: So we did it, and then we just kept on
- 20:12Speaker 2: doing it, and little did he know. This can just
- 20:15Speaker 2: show you the impact that teachers can have on young people.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Little did he know that that would be something that
- 20:21Speaker 2: has gone Midwest wide. And you might think I'm kidding,
- 20:24Speaker 2: I am not. There are people in Winoda, Minnesota who
- 20:27Speaker 2: do flannel Friday every Friday. There are people in eastern
- 20:30Speaker 2: Iowa who do flannel Friday every Friday. And now people
- 20:33Speaker 2: here in the FM area who have joined in on
- 20:37Speaker 2: doing Flannel Fridays at least last year.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Hopefully they continue it this year.
- 20:40Speaker 2: So a big shout out to mister Crabtree, which is
- 20:43Speaker 2: kind of funny. He probably never would have guessed how
- 20:45Speaker 2: far flannel Friday would have taken.
- 20:48Speaker 3: I guess mister Crabtree is the original influencer, and I
- 20:53Speaker 3: love that.
- 20:54Speaker 2: The world is full of nice people. If you can't
- 20:56Speaker 2: find one, you gotta be one. I know it's hot
- 20:58Speaker 2: for Flannel Friday today, but next week I'm guessing a
- 21:01Speaker 2: lot better.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Yeah,
