Huntsville City Schools is ditching the old mid-thigh shorts rule—now just cover up your bottom and underwear, no matter what you’re doing. Leggings, joggers, and jeggings are officially in, and ripped jeans are back as long as they don’t expose your hips, backside, or undies. Hats, hoods, visors, and sunglasses? Outdoors only—nope, not inside. Tops must still cover front and back, even with hands up. Gym? No slides or flip-flops, but uniforms are allowed for teams and bands with principal approval.
