you
1:49
very
1:49
much
1:50
for
1:50
having

1:51
Looking
1:52
forward
1:52
to
1:53
a
1:53
nice
1:53
chat
1:54
about
1:54
winter
1:54
fishing.
1:55
Absolutely.
1:56
And
1:56
you
1:56
know,
1:56
it
1:57
was
1:57
great
1:57
seeing
1:57
you
1:57
at
1:58
Bob
1:58
and
1:58
I
1:58
always
1:58
love
1:59
kind
1:59
of,
1:59
you
1:59
know,
1:59
meeting
2:00
guests
2:00
in
2:00
person
2:00
and
2:01
meeting
2:01
listeners
2:01
in
2:01
person.
2:02
You
2:02
know,
2:02
it
2:02
was
2:03
a
2:03
fantastic
2:03
weekend.
2:04
What
2:04
was
2:04
the
2:04
highlight
2:05
for
2:05
you?
2:07
Oh,
2:07
the
2:07
highlight.
2:08
Boy,
2:08
I
2:09
I
2:09
got
2:09
to
2:09
see
2:09
a
2:10
lot
2:10
of
2:10
friends
2:10
that
2:11
I
2:11
haven't
2:11
seen
2:11
in
2:12
a
2:12
while.
2:13
Some
2:14
awesome,
2:15
awesome
2:15
tires
2:16
there.
2:18
Just
2:19
the
2:19
skill
2:20
level.
2:22
These
2:22
guys
2:22
definitely
2:23
are
2:23
some
2:24
of
2:24
the
2:24
best
2:24
tires
2:25
around
2:26
the
2:26
nation.
2:27
That
2:28
was
2:29
probably
2:29
a
2:29
big
2:30
thing
2:30
for
2:30
me.
2:31
Got
2:31
to
2:31
see
2:31
some
2:31
really
2:32
cool
2:32
patterns.
2:35
Listening
2:36
to
2:37
some
2:37
of
2:37
the
2:37
guys
2:38
in
2:38
the
2:38
hot
2:38
seat,
2:39
that
2:39
was
2:39
kind
2:40
of
2:40
cool
2:40
in
2:40
the
2:40
shop.
2:42
I
2:43
think
2:43
it
2:43
was
2:43
Charlie
2:44
Craven
2:45
seeing
2:46
his
2:46
baby
2:46
Goonga
2:47
that
2:47
it's
2:47
actually
2:48
a
2:48
really
2:48
good
2:48
pattern
2:49
that
2:49
I
2:49
really
2:50
like.
2:51
So
2:51
being
2:51
able
2:52
to
2:52
see
2:52
that
2:52
being
2:53
done
2:53
firsthand
2:54
was
2:55
awesome.
2:56
So
2:56
I'm
2:56
planning,
2:57
I've
2:57
actually
2:57
got
2:58
some
2:58
materials,
2:58
planning
2:59
on
2:59
tying
2:59
some
3:00
more
3:00
of
3:00
that
3:01
when
3:01
I
3:01
can.
3:03
And
3:03
then
3:03
yeah,
3:04
just
3:04
seeing
3:04
all
3:04
the
3:05
people
3:05
there.
3:06
Very
3:06
like
3:06
minded
3:07
people.
3:08
So
3:09
yeah,
3:09
those
3:09
shows
3:09
are
3:10
awesome.
3:11
It
3:12
was
3:12
really
3:12
nice.
3:12
Weather
3:13
turned
3:13
out
3:13
really
3:14
good.
3:14
So
3:14
definitely
3:15
a
3:15
fun,
3:16
fun
3:16
time
3:16
there
3:17
in
3:17
Ypsilanti.
3:18
So
3:18
yeah,
3:20
neat.
3:20
And
3:20
so,
3:21
you
3:21
know,
3:21
have
3:21
to
3:21
ask
3:21
you,
3:22
I
3:22
don't
3:22
think
3:22
we've.
3:23
We've
3:23
kind
3:23
of
3:24
pinged
3:24
each
3:24
other
3:24
on
3:24
social
3:25
media
3:25
throughout
3:25
the
3:25
fishing
3:26
season.
3:26
But,
3:26
you
3:26
know,
3:27
how
3:27
was
3:27
your
3:27
2024
3:28
season?
3:30
2024
3:31
season
3:31
was
3:31
really
3:32
good.
3:33
We,
3:34
you
3:34
know,
3:35
trout
3:35
fishing
3:35
was
3:36
really
3:36
good.
3:37
Right
3:37
around
3:38
June,
3:38
things
3:39
really
3:39
started
3:40
to
3:40
heat
3:40
up.
3:41
So
3:41
trout
3:41
fishing
3:42
kind
3:42
of
3:43
got
3:43
put
3:44
on
3:44
hold.
3:44
We
3:44
really
3:45
focused
3:45
on
3:46
the
3:46
smallmouth
3:47
fishing
3:48
which
3:48
will
3:49
definitely
3:50
be
3:50
doing
3:50
again
3:50
this
3:51
year.
3:51
We're
3:51
almost
3:51
to
3:52
the
3:52
point
3:52
where
3:52
we're
3:52
gonna
3:53
kind
3:54
of
3:54
shut
3:54
off
3:54
our
3:54
trout
3:55
fishing
3:56
around
3:56
June,
3:57
switch
3:58
over
3:58
to
3:58
smallmouth
3:59
pike
3:59
and
4:00
muskie.
4:01
Obviously
4:02
weather
4:03
dependent,
4:04
but
4:05
yeah,
4:05
season
4:06
was
4:06
really
4:06
good.
4:07
Smallmouth
4:07
fishing
4:08
was
4:08
awesome.
4:10
Even
4:11
we
4:11
had
4:11
some
4:11
high
4:11
water
4:12
events
4:12
that
4:13
kind
4:13
of
4:15
put
4:15
a
4:15
little
4:16
damper
4:16
on
4:16
some
4:17
stuff,
4:17
but
4:17
we
4:17
were
4:18
able
4:18
to
4:18
get
4:18
back
4:18
at
4:19
it.
4:19
I
4:19
had
4:19
to
4:19
move
4:20
a
4:20
few
4:20
clients,
4:20
but
4:21
we
4:21
were
4:21
able
4:21
to
4:21
get
4:21
everybody
4:22
in.
4:23
And
4:23
then
4:24
right
4:24
towards
4:24
the
4:24
end
4:25
of
4:25
the
4:25
season,
4:26
I
4:26
believe,
4:27
like
4:27
end
4:27
of
4:27
August,
4:28
I
4:28
was
4:28
pretty
4:29
much
4:29
booked
4:29
up
4:29
until
4:30
mid
4:31
October,
4:32
so
4:33
one
4:33
of
4:33
my
4:33
better
4:34
seasons
4:34
to
4:35
be
4:35
booked
4:35
up.
4:37
And
4:37
we're
4:37
looking
4:38
to
4:38
basically
4:39
be
4:39
doing
4:39
the
4:39
same
4:40
thing
4:41
again
4:41
this
4:42
year.
4:43
So
4:43
yeah,
4:43
I
4:44
mean,
4:44
it
4:44
was
4:45
great
4:45
fish
4:47
and
4:48
you
4:49
know,
4:49
it
4:49
was
4:50
really
4:50
awesome
4:50
to
4:50
spend
4:51
so
4:51
much
4:51
more
4:51
time
4:52
in
4:52
the
4:52
drift
4:52
boat.
4:53
I
4:53
really
4:54
enjoyed
4:54
doing
4:55
that.
4:55
So.
4:56
Yeah,
4:57
good,
4:57
good.
4:58
2024
5:00
season.
5:01
Yeah,
5:01
that's
5:01
great.
5:02
And
5:02
so
5:02
how
5:02
was
5:02
your
5:02
deer
5:02
season?
5:04
Deer
5:05
season
5:05
was
5:05
good.
5:06
I
5:06
put
5:06
a
5:06
couple
5:06
in
5:07
the
5:07
freezer.
5:08
It's
5:08
always
5:10
super
5:10
fun
5:10
to
5:11
kind
5:11
of
5:11
finish
5:11
out
5:12
and
5:12
head
5:13
to
5:13
Missouri,
5:13
head
5:14
to
5:14
our
5:14
farm
5:14
there
5:15
and
5:16
just
5:16
kind
5:16
of,
5:18
I
5:19
don't
5:19
know,
5:20
fill
5:20
the
5:20
batteries
5:21
and
5:22
just
5:22
kind
5:22
of
5:23
do
5:24
my
5:24
own
5:24
thing,
5:25
not
5:26
have
5:26
to
5:26
worry
5:26
about
5:27
clients.
5:28
I
5:28
love
5:28
my
5:28
clients
5:29
dearly,
5:29
but
5:30
it's
5:30
nice
5:31
to
5:31
just
5:31
kind
5:31
of
5:32
have
5:32
some
5:33
alone
5:33
time.
5:34
My
5:34
wife
5:34
was
5:34
able
5:35
to
5:35
come
5:35
and
5:35
visit
5:35
for
5:36
a
5:36
week.
5:37
I
5:38
was
5:38
able
5:38
to
5:38
do
5:38
a
5:38
lot
5:38
of
5:39
work
5:39
on
5:39
the
5:39
farm
5:39
while
5:40
I
5:40
was
5:40
there.
5:41
So
5:41
yeah,
5:41
super
5:42
fun.
5:42
Got
5:43
some
5:43
deer,
5:43
filled
5:44
the
5:44
freezer.
5:47
Yeah,
5:47
it
5:47
was
5:48
great.
5:49
Well,
5:49
that's
5:50
awesome.
5:50
And
5:50
so
5:50
you
5:50
know,
5:50
your
5:51
home
5:51
waters
5:51
are
5:51
in
5:51
the
5:51
driftless
5:52
area
5:52
and
5:52
you
5:52
know,
5:53
for
5:53
folks
5:53
that
5:53
aren't
5:53
familiar,
5:54
can
5:55
you
5:55
tell
5:55
us
5:55
a
5:55
little
5:55
about
5:56
the
5:56
area
5:56
and
5:56
kind
5:56
of
5:56
what
5:57
makes
5:57
it
5:57
so
5:57
special?
5:59
Sure.
5:59
The
6:00
driftless
6:00
area,
6:02
it
6:02
incorporates
6:04
a
6:04
Lot
6:05
of
6:05
land.
6:06
It's
6:06
in
6:07
four
6:07
states,
6:08
so
6:08
it's
6:08
in
6:09
Wisconsin,
6:10
Minnesota,
6:11
Iowa
6:12
and
6:12
a
6:12
little
6:13
piece
6:13
of
6:15
Illinois.
6:17
And
6:17
it's
6:18
mostly
6:18
on
6:18
either
6:19
side
6:19
of
6:19
the
6:19
Mississippi.
6:21
And
6:21
it
6:22
is
6:22
where
6:22
the
6:24
glaciers
6:25
did
6:25
not
6:25
advance.
6:26
So
6:27
it
6:27
kind
6:27
of
6:27
like
6:27
a
6:28
big
6:28
rock
6:29
in
6:29
the
6:29
middle
6:30
of
6:30
a
6:31
creek
6:31
or
6:32
river.
6:33
So
6:33
the,
6:33
when
6:34
the
6:34
glaciers
6:34
came
6:34
down,
6:35
they
6:35
split
6:35
around
6:36
and
6:36
kind
6:37
of
6:37
encircled
6:37
this
6:38
area
6:38
as
6:38
kind
6:39
of
6:39
a
6:39
high
6:41
point.
6:43
So
6:43
we
6:43
have
6:43
really
6:44
deep
6:44
ravines.
6:45
In
6:45
those
6:46
deep
6:46
ravines,
6:46
there's
6:47
nice
6:47
little
6:48
creeks
6:49
that
6:49
spring
6:50
up.
6:50
So
6:50
spring
6:51
creeks,
6:52
and
6:52
they
6:53
hold
6:54
awesome
6:56
little
6:56
trout,
6:57
either
6:58
browns
6:58
or
6:58
brookies.
6:59
There
6:59
are
7:00
some
7:00
places
7:00
that
7:01
they've
7:02
put
7:02
in
7:04
rainbows
7:05
in
7:05
that
7:05
too.
7:06
Obviously
7:07
the
7:07
browns
7:07
were
7:07
brought
7:08
in,
7:08
but
7:08
the
7:08
brookies
7:09
are
7:09
kind
7:09
of
7:10
the
7:10
true
7:10
native.
7:11
But
7:11
yeah,
7:12
it's
7:12
a
7:12
really
7:12
special
7:13
place.
7:14
Kind
7:14
of
7:15
untouched
7:15
to
7:16
a
7:16
certain
7:16
point.
7:17
I
7:17
mean
7:17
there's
7:17
a
7:17
lot
7:18
of
7:18
farming,
7:18
agriculture
7:20
going
7:20
on,
7:20
but
7:21
overall
7:22
it's,
7:22
it's
7:23
just
7:24
a
7:25
great
7:25
area
7:26
that's
7:26
kind
7:26
of
7:26
a
7:27
hidden
7:27
gem
7:27
that
7:29
some
7:29
people
7:29
know
7:30
about
7:30
and
7:31
slowly
7:31
more
7:32
and
7:32
more
7:32
people
7:32
are
7:32
finding
7:33
out.
7:33
But
7:33
it,
7:33
it's
7:34
awesome
7:34
fishing.
7:36
Doesn't
7:37
matter
7:37
what
7:37
side
7:37
you're
7:38
on,
7:38
whether
7:38
you're
7:38
on
7:39
the
7:39
Wisconsin,
7:40
Minnesota,
7:41
Iowa.
7:42
Not
7:42
too
7:42
much
7:43
going
7:43
on
7:43
in
7:43
Illinois
7:44
side.
7:45
But
7:45
again,
7:46
there
7:46
are
7:46
some
7:47
waters
7:47
there.
7:48
So.
7:49
Yeah,
7:49
but
7:49
pretty
7:50
special,
7:51
pretty
7:51
special
7:52
area.
7:53
Yeah.
7:53
And
7:53
kind
7:53
of,
7:53
I
7:54
guess
7:54
maybe
7:54
an
7:54
analog
7:55
a
7:55
little
7:55
bit
7:55
would
7:55
maybe
7:55
be
7:56
some
7:56
of
7:56
our
7:56
like
7:56
Pennsylvania
7:57
spring
7:57
fed
7:58
creeks,
7:58
right?
7:59
Yeah,
8:00
most
8:00
definitely.
8:00
There's,
8:01
there's
8:01
a
8:01
lot
8:02
of
8:02
water
8:02
that
8:02
is
8:03
similar.
8:04
When
8:04
we've
8:05
been
8:05
to
8:06
Vermont,
8:08
some
8:08
of
8:08
those
8:08
creeks,
8:09
they're
8:09
very
8:10
similar.
8:10
Small,
8:12
very
8:13
tight
8:13
areas
8:14
that
8:15
just
8:15
kind
8:15
of
8:15
meander
8:16
through,
8:20
you
8:20
know,
8:20
the
8:21
landscape.
8:23
And
8:24
nice
8:24
small
8:24
tight
8:25
areas
8:25
that
8:26
you
8:26
can
8:27
use
8:27
a
8:27
nice
8:28
three
8:28
weight.
8:30
Sometimes
8:30
it's
8:31
wooded,
8:31
sometimes
8:32
it's
8:32
open
8:32
pasture
8:33
land.
8:33
But
8:34
uh,
8:34
it's
8:35
really
8:35
a
8:35
good,
8:36
good
8:37
place
8:37
to
8:37
kind
8:38
of
8:39
just
8:39
get
8:39
out
8:39
in
8:40
nature,
8:41
I
8:41
would
8:41
say.
8:42
But
8:42
yeah,
8:43
super
8:43
fun.
8:45
Yeah.
8:45
And
8:45
you
8:45
wanted
8:46
to
8:46
come
8:46
back
8:46
on
8:46
the
8:47
podcast
8:47
to
8:47
talk
8:47
about
8:48
winter
8:48
fishing
8:48
in
8:48
the
8:48
Driftless
8:49
and
8:49
I
8:49
was
8:49
kind
8:49
of
8:49
curious.
8:50
I
8:50
saw
8:50
these
8:51
posts.
8:52
You
8:52
know,
8:53
winter
8:53
season
8:53
is
8:54
opening,
8:54
I
8:54
guess
8:54
is
8:54
there
8:55
an
8:55
official
8:55
winter
8:56
season?
8:56
Or
8:56
I
8:56
guess
8:57
maybe
8:57
you
8:57
have
8:57
a
8:57
closed
8:57
season
8:58
and
8:58
then
8:58
it
8:58
opens
8:59
and
8:59
it
8:59
happens
8:59
to
8:59
open
8:59
in
8:59
the
9:00
wintertime.
9:01
Yeah.
9:02
So
9:02
our
9:02
season
9:03
officially
9:03
opens
9:04
for
9:04
a
9:05
catch
9:05
and
9:05
release
9:05
season
9:06
the
9:07
first
9:08
Saturday
9:09
in
9:09
January
9:11
and
9:11
then
9:11
that
9:11
season
9:12
will
9:12
go
9:12
to
9:13
the
9:13
first
9:14
Saturday
9:14
in
9:15
May
9:16
and
9:17
then
9:17
it
9:17
opens
9:18
up
9:18
fully.
9:18
So
9:19
there's
9:19
a
9:19
catch
9:19
and
9:20
keep
9:20
season
9:21
that
9:21
kind
9:22
of
9:22
starts
9:23
and
9:23
then
9:23
the
9:23
season
9:24
goes
9:24
all
9:24
the
9:24
way.
9:25
Then
9:25
this
9:25
is
9:25
for
9:25
trout.
9:27
Season
9:27
goes
9:27
all
9:28
the
9:28
way
9:28
to
9:29
October
9:29
15th,
9:30
and
9:30
then
9:31
it
9:31
shuts
9:31
off.
9:32
And
9:32
that's
9:32
to
9:32
kind
9:33
of
9:33
allow
9:33
for
9:33
hunting
9:34
here
9:34
in
9:34
Wisconsin.
9:36
It
9:36
also
9:36
allows
9:37
the
9:37
fish
9:37
to
9:38
kind
9:38
of
9:38
spawn
9:39
without
9:39
being
9:41
harassed,
9:42
I
9:43
would
9:43
say.
9:43
Not
9:43
that
9:44
guys
9:44
are
9:45
harassing
9:45
the
9:46
fish,
9:46
but
9:47
kind
9:47
of
9:47
gives
9:47
them
9:47
a
9:47
break.
9:48
So
9:49
we've
9:49
got
9:49
a
9:49
few
9:49
months
9:50
off.
9:50
It's
9:51
kind
9:51
of
9:51
nice
9:51
for
9:51
me
9:52
because
9:52
then
9:52
I
9:52
can
9:52
go
9:52
deer
9:53
hunting
9:53
in
9:53
that.
9:53
But
9:54
it's.
9:55
You
9:56
know,
9:56
there
9:56
are
9:56
other
9:57
areas
9:57
I
9:57
know
9:58
over
9:58
in
9:58
Minnesota
9:59
and
10:00
Iowa,
10:00
There's
10:00
a
10:01
little
10:01
bit
10:01
of
10:03
water
10:03
that
10:03
you
10:04
can
10:04
actually
10:04
fish
10:05
all
10:05
season.
10:05
But
10:06
here
10:06
in
10:06
Wisconsin,
10:07
they
10:07
give
10:07
them
10:07
a
10:08
break,
10:08
and
10:08
then
10:09
we
10:09
fire
10:09
right
10:09
back
10:10
up
10:10
in.
10:11
In
10:11
January.
10:12
So.
10:14
So
10:15
we
10:15
get
10:15
that
10:15
winter
10:16
into
10:17
spring,
10:17
fall,
10:18
you
10:18
know,
10:18
summer,
10:19
and
10:19
then
10:19
into
10:20
fall.
10:20
So
10:20
we
10:20
kind
10:21
of
10:21
hit
10:21
all
10:21
the
10:22
seasons.
10:23
Got
10:23
it.
10:23
And,
10:24
you
10:24
know,
10:24
I
10:24
was
10:24
just
10:24
up
10:25
in
10:25
with
10:25
you
10:25
in
10:26
Michigan,
10:26
so
10:26
I
10:26
was
10:26
reacquainted
10:27
with
10:27
how
10:27
cold
10:28
it
10:28
is
10:28
in
10:28
the
10:28
wintertime
10:30
in
10:30
the.
10:31
In
10:31
the
10:31
Midwest.
10:32
And
10:32
I'm
10:32
getting.
10:33
I'm
10:33
getting
10:33
soft.
10:34
It's
10:34
not
10:34
as
10:34
cold
10:34
in
10:35
the
10:35
mid
10:35
Atlantic
10:35
as
10:35
it
10:35
was
10:36
when
10:36
I
10:36
was
10:36
a
10:36
kid.
10:36
But,
10:37
you
10:38
know,
10:38
before
10:38
we
10:39
get
10:39
to,
10:40
you
10:40
know,
10:41
like,
10:42
tackle,
10:42
why
10:43
don't
10:43
we
10:43
talk
10:43
about,
10:43
you
10:44
know,
10:44
how
10:44
you
10:44
go
10:44
fish
10:44
in
10:44
the
10:45
wintertime
10:45
and
10:45
you
10:45
don't
10:45
freeze
10:46
to
10:46
death.
10:47
Yeah,
10:48
so
10:49
that's
10:49
a
10:49
huge
10:50
question
10:50
that
10:51
I
10:51
get
10:51
a
10:51
lot.
10:53
Some
10:53
guys
10:54
really
10:54
do
10:54
not
10:54
like
10:55
to
10:55
fish
10:56
when
10:56
it's
10:56
super
10:56
cold.
10:57
I
10:58
kind
10:58
of
10:58
look
10:58
at.
10:59
It's
10:59
just
11:00
a
11:00
great
11:00
way
11:00
to
11:00
get
11:01
out.
11:02
It
11:02
kind
11:02
of
11:04
helps
11:04
that
11:04
cabin
11:05
fever
11:05
that
11:05
a
11:06
lot
11:06
of
11:06
guys
11:06
will
11:06
get.
11:08
So
11:08
I
11:09
think
11:09
it's
11:09
super
11:10
fun.
11:10
I
11:10
definitely
11:11
will
11:11
pick
11:12
nicer
11:12
days.
11:13
You
11:13
can
11:13
definitely
11:14
sleep
11:14
in.
11:15
You
11:15
don't
11:15
have
11:15
to
11:16
get
11:16
out
11:16
there
11:16
at
11:16
the
11:16
crack
11:17
of
11:17
dawn.
11:18
It's
11:19
a
11:20
time
11:20
where
11:20
you
11:20
can
11:21
pick
11:21
your
11:21
days.
11:23
You're
11:24
looking
11:24
at
11:24
weather.
11:25
You
11:25
want
11:27
kind
11:28
of
11:28
some
11:28
time
11:28
where
11:29
it.
11:29
It's
11:29
gonna
11:30
be
11:30
fairly
11:31
comfortable
11:31
for
11:31
you
11:32
to
11:32
be
11:32
out.
11:33
I
11:34
was
11:34
out
11:34
for
11:34
the
11:34
opener
11:35
this
11:35
year,
11:35
and
11:36
it
11:36
was
11:36
16
11:37
degrees,
11:37
which
11:38
was
11:38
pretty
11:38
cold.
11:39
Not
11:40
fun.
11:40
I
11:41
did
11:41
get
11:42
into
11:42
some
11:42
fish,
11:43
but
11:43
it
11:43
was
11:43
not.
11:44
Definitely
11:45
not
11:45
ideal.
11:45
And
11:46
I
11:46
wasn't
11:46
out
11:46
there
11:47
that
11:47
long.
11:48
But
11:48
overall,
11:48
I'd
11:49
say
11:49
anything
11:50
in
11:50
that
11:52
25
11:53
plus
11:54
degrees
11:54
is
11:54
not
11:55
too
11:55
bad.
11:55
And
11:56
that
11:56
would
11:56
be
11:57
air
11:57
temperature.
11:58
And
11:59
then
11:59
you
11:59
want
12:00
to
12:00
kind
12:00
of
12:00
watch
12:00
the
12:01
water
12:02
temperature
12:02
as
12:02
well.
12:03
If
12:04
we
12:04
had
12:04
snow
12:05
on
12:05
the
12:05
ground
12:05
when
12:06
it's.
12:06
When
12:06
it's
12:08
really
12:09
warm,
12:09
you
12:09
kind
12:09
of
12:09
got
12:10
to
12:10
watch
12:10
because
12:10
you
12:11
want
12:11
to
12:12
make
12:13
sure
12:13
that
12:14
if
12:15
it
12:15
is
12:15
really
12:15
warm,
12:16
you
12:16
want
12:16
to
12:17
watch
12:17
that
12:18
melt
12:19
water
12:19
going
12:19
in
12:20
because
12:20
it'll
12:20
actually
12:21
drop
12:21
the
12:21
temperature
12:22
significantly.
12:23
So
12:23
you're
12:24
kind
12:24
of
12:24
looking
12:24
at
12:24
that
12:25
9:00
12:27
to
12:27
say
12:28
about
12:28
one
12:29
2:00
12:30
in
12:30
the
12:30
afternoon.
12:31
Ideal.
12:33
Having
12:33
a
12:33
thermometer
12:34
with
12:34
you
12:35
to
12:35
check
12:35
those
12:35
water
12:36
temps
12:36
is
12:37
pretty
12:37
critical
12:38
because
12:38
you
12:39
will
12:39
see,
12:40
especially
12:40
if
12:40
you
12:40
have
12:41
snowpack,
12:42
you
12:42
will
12:43
see
12:44
during
12:44
that
12:45
afternoon.
12:46
All
12:46
of
12:46
a
12:46
sudden
12:46
you're
12:47
not
12:47
hooking
12:47
into
12:48
fish,
12:48
you're
12:48
not
12:48
seeing
12:49
any
12:49
risers.
12:51
So
12:51
that
12:52
usually
12:52
means
12:52
the
12:52
water
12:53
temps
12:53
actually
12:54
going
12:54
back
12:54
down.
12:56
So
12:56
some
12:56
people
12:56
will
12:56
be
12:56
like,
12:57
well,
12:57
it's
12:57
so
12:57
warm
12:58
outside.
12:58
But
12:58
I'm
12:59
like,
12:59
you're
12:59
getting
12:59
that
13:00
snow
13:00
melt
13:00
in
13:00
there
13:02
and
13:02
it's
13:02
making
13:03
changes.
13:06
So
13:06
when
13:06
you,
13:07
when
13:07
you
13:07
are
13:07
getting
13:08
out
13:08
there,
13:09
you
13:09
want
13:09
to
13:09
make
13:09
sure
13:10
you
13:11
wear
13:11
the
13:11
proper
13:12
clothes.
13:13
You're
13:14
looking
13:14
for
13:14
those
13:16
layers.
13:17
Layers
13:17
are
13:17
a
13:18
big
13:18
thing.
13:19
I
13:20
actually
13:20
wear
13:21
like
13:21
a,
13:21
almost
13:22
like
13:22
a
13:22
sun
13:22
shirt
13:23
or
13:23
quick
13:23
dry
13:24
shirt
13:24
for
13:25
underneath.
13:26
And
13:26
then
13:26
I'll
13:26
layer
13:27
like
13:27
a
13:27
wool
13:28
sweater
13:28
or
13:29
a
13:29
fleece
13:29
sweater.
13:30
And
13:31
then
13:31
depending
13:32
on
13:32
conditions,
13:33
I'll
13:33
wear
13:34
like
13:34
a
13:35
rain
13:35
jacket,
13:36
wind
13:36
jacket,
13:37
or
13:38
like
13:38
a
13:38
puffy.
13:40
So
13:40
it
13:40
depends
13:41
on
13:41
how
13:41
cold
13:41
it
13:41
is.
13:44
We
13:44
were
13:44
talking
13:45
about
13:45
gloves.
13:47
That's
13:47
always
13:47
the
13:47
hard
13:48
part
13:48
for
13:48
a
13:48
lot
13:48
of
13:48
people.
13:49
Nitrile
13:50
gloves
13:50
are
13:51
definitely
13:51
a
13:52
key
13:52
for
13:53
that.
13:54
We've
13:54
added
13:54
them
13:55
so
13:55
you
13:55
can
13:56
wear
13:56
those.
13:56
Nitro
13:56
gloves
13:57
keeps
13:57
your
13:57
hands
13:58
warm
13:59
to
13:59
a
14:00
certain
14:00
degree.
14:00
Again,
14:01
they
14:01
have
14:01
no
14:01
insulating
14:02
value,
14:02
but
14:02
they
14:03
keep
14:03
your
14:03
hands
14:03
from
14:04
getting
14:04
wet.
14:05
Wet
14:05
hands
14:06
make
14:06
cold
14:06
hands.
14:07
So
14:08
if
14:08
you
14:08
keep
14:08
your
14:08
hands
14:09
dry,
14:09
the
14:10
other
14:10
thing
14:10
I
14:10
carry
14:11
is
14:11
a
14:11
small
14:12
towel.
14:13
When
14:14
your
14:14
hands
14:14
do
14:14
get
14:15
wet,
14:15
you
14:15
can
14:15
dry
14:16
them
14:16
off
14:16
quickly.
14:18
And
14:18
then
14:18
as
14:18
far
14:19
as
14:19
the
14:19
bottoms
14:19
go,
14:21
good
14:21
Gore
14:22
Tex
14:23
waders
14:24
or
14:24
breathable
14:25
waders,
14:25
I
14:25
guess.
14:26
Now
14:26
Gore
14:26
Texes
14:27
kind
14:27
of
14:27
on
14:28
the
14:28
out,
14:28
but
14:29
good
14:29
breathable
14:30
waders.
14:31
I
14:31
usually
14:31
get
14:32
away
14:32
with
14:32
a
14:32
pair
14:33
of
14:35
wool
14:35
socks,
14:36
like
14:36
heavier
14:37
wool
14:37
socks,
14:38
nothing
14:39
too
14:39
big.
14:39
I
14:39
don't
14:39
want
14:40
to
14:40
over
14:41
pack
14:41
my
14:42
feet
14:43
into
14:43
my
14:44
boots
14:45
because
14:45
when
14:46
you
14:46
start
14:46
cutting
14:46
off
14:46
that
14:47
circulation
14:47
there,
14:48
then
14:48
next
14:48
thing
14:48
you
14:48
know,
14:49
you
14:49
have
14:49
cold
14:49
feet.
14:50
So
14:51
a
14:51
lot
14:51
of
14:51
people
14:51
think
14:51
you've
14:52
got
14:52
to
14:52
like
14:53
super
14:53
bundle
14:54
and
14:54
you
14:54
don't
14:54
have
14:55
to.
14:55
But
14:56
so
14:57
if
14:57
you
14:57
kind
14:57
of
14:57
go
14:57
that
14:58
way,
14:58
I
14:58
mean,
14:58
if
14:58
it's
14:59
really
14:59
cold
14:59
or
15:00
you
15:00
tend
15:00
to
15:00
run
15:01
cold,
15:01
having
15:02
like
15:02
long
15:02
johns
15:04
and
15:04
then
15:04
like
15:05
fleece
15:05
pants
15:06
and
15:06
then
15:08
maybe
15:08
a
15:09
thin
15:09
sock
15:09
and
15:09
then
15:10
an
15:10
over
15:10
sock,
15:11
that
15:11
kind
15:12
of
15:12
works
15:12
too.
15:12
You
15:13
want
15:13
to
15:13
make
15:13
sure
15:13
your
15:14
gear,
15:14
if
15:14
it
15:14
feels
15:15
tight,
15:15
it's
15:16
not
15:16
going
15:16
to
15:16
be
15:17
great
15:17
for
15:17
you.
15:18
So
15:18
some
15:18
people
15:19
will
15:19
wear
15:19
different
15:21
gear.
15:22
You
15:22
know,
15:23
they'll
15:23
have
15:23
like
15:23
a
15:23
winter
15:24
setup
15:24
and
15:24
then
15:25
like
15:25
a
15:25
summer
15:25
setup,
15:26
if
15:27
that
15:27
makes
15:27
sense.
15:29
Yeah,
15:29
it
15:29
does.
15:30
I
15:30
mean,
15:30
it's
15:30
one
15:30
of
15:30
the
15:30
reasons
15:31
why,
15:31
like,
15:31
I
15:31
know
15:32
every
15:32
time
15:33
I
15:33
buy
15:33
boots,
15:33
you
15:34
know,
15:34
I'm
15:34
always
15:34
getting
15:35
a
15:35
size
15:35
larger.
15:36
Right.
15:36
Just
15:36
because
15:37
I.
15:37
I
15:37
want
15:37
to
15:37
have,
15:40
you
15:40
know,
15:40
that
15:41
room
15:41
to.
15:42
To.
15:42
To
15:42
your
15:43
point,
15:43
not,
15:44
you
15:44
know,
15:44
cut
15:45
off
15:45
the
15:45
circulation
15:45
of
15:46
my
15:46
feet
15:46
and
15:46
feel
15:47
like
15:47
it's
15:47
freezing,
15:49
you
15:49
know,
15:49
Also,
15:49
too,
15:50
you
15:50
know,
15:50
it's
15:50
interesting.
15:50
It's
15:51
kind
15:51
of
15:51
funny.
15:51
Like,
15:51
I
15:51
keep
15:52
having
15:52
this
15:52
kind
15:52
of
15:52
running
15:53
debate
15:53
with
15:53
my
15:53
steelhead
15:54
buddies,
15:54
but
15:54
I
15:54
always
15:54
wear,
15:55
like,
15:56
you
15:56
know,
15:56
it's
15:56
one
15:57
thing
15:57
if
15:57
you're
15:57
wearing,
15:57
like,
15:57
a
15:57
light
15:58
puffy
15:58
and
15:58
it's
15:58
not
15:58
really
15:58
cold,
15:59
but,
15:59
like,
15:59
if
15:59
I'm
16:00
steelheading
16:00
and
16:00
I
16:00
need
16:01
to
16:01
wear,
16:01
like,
16:01
a
16:01
heavier
16:01
coat,
16:02
I
16:02
always
16:03
put
16:03
that
16:03
on
16:03
over
16:04
my
16:04
waders
16:04
to
16:04
trap
16:05
all
16:05
that
16:05
heat.
16:07
Yeah,
16:07
I
16:07
tend
16:08
to
16:08
put
16:08
stuff
16:09
over
16:09
the
16:09
top.
16:10
When
16:10
you
16:10
try
16:10
to
16:10
start
16:11
stuffing
16:13
your
16:13
waiters
16:16
again,
16:16
I'm
16:16
a
16:17
big
16:17
guy,
16:17
and
16:18
my
16:18
waiter.
16:19
You
16:19
can
16:19
only
16:19
stuff
16:20
so
16:20
much
16:20
into
16:20
a
16:20
sausage
16:21
casing,
16:21
you
16:22
might
16:22
say.
16:23
So,
16:24
yeah,
16:24
I
16:24
tend
16:24
to
16:24
put
16:25
it
16:25
over
16:25
the
16:25
top,
16:25
and
16:26
it
16:26
does
16:26
kind
16:26
of
16:26
help
16:27
trap
16:27
that
16:27
heat.
16:28
Again,
16:28
I'm
16:28
not
16:28
going
16:29
super
16:29
deep.
16:29
These
16:30
streams
16:30
are
16:31
really
16:32
kind
16:32
of
16:33
shallow.
16:33
I'm
16:34
not
16:34
gonna,
16:34
you
16:35
know,
16:35
if
16:35
I
16:35
go
16:35
above
16:36
my
16:36
knees,
16:36
that's.
16:37
That's
16:37
pretty
16:38
deep.
16:38
So
16:39
I.
16:39
I
16:39
try
16:39
to
16:40
limit
16:40
myself
16:40
how
16:41
deep
16:41
I
16:41
go.
16:42
And
16:42
then
16:42
I
16:42
can
16:43
layer
16:44
that
16:45
heavier
16:45
jacket
16:46
over
16:46
the
16:46
top,
16:46
because
16:47
if
16:47
you're.
16:47
If
16:47
you're
16:47
stuffing
16:48
it
16:48
in,
16:48
you're
16:49
actually
16:49
kind
16:49
of
16:49
defeating
16:50
the.
16:51
The
16:51
insulating
16:52
properties
16:53
of
16:53
it.
16:54
So
16:54
I'm.
16:54
I'm
16:55
kind
16:55
of.
16:55
I
16:56
want
16:56
to
16:56
keep
16:56
it
16:56
loose.
16:57
I
16:57
want
16:57
to
16:57
be
16:58
able
16:58
to
16:58
move
16:58
around
16:59
easily.
17:00
So
17:01
you're.
17:01
You.
17:01
You
17:02
want
17:02
to
17:02
make
17:02
sure
17:02
you've
17:03
got
17:03
that
17:04
ability
17:05
to
17:05
do
17:05
that.
17:06
Like,
17:07
an
17:07
over
17:07
jacket
17:08
needs
17:08
to
17:08
be
17:08
big
17:08
enough.
17:09
I
17:09
mean,
17:09
even
17:09
a.
17:10
A
17:10
rain
17:10
jacket
17:11
over
17:11
a
17:12
sweater
17:14
will
17:14
help
17:15
you
17:16
stay
17:16
pretty
17:16
well
17:17
insulated
17:18
because
17:18
you've
17:18
got
17:19
that
17:19
air
17:19
trapped
17:20
underneath,
17:21
say,
17:21
like
17:21
a
17:21
rain
17:22
jacket.
17:24
So
17:24
that
17:24
kind
17:24
of
17:25
helps.
17:25
And
17:25
then
17:25
you
17:26
also
17:26
want
17:26
to
17:26
make
17:26
sure
17:26
the
17:27
other
17:27
thing
17:27
is,
17:27
is,
17:28
like,
17:29
wearing,
17:30
like,
17:31
a
17:31
hat
17:31
and
17:32
maybe
17:32
a
17:33
stocking
17:33
cap
17:34
over
17:34
that
17:35
kind
17:36
of
17:36
like
17:36
a
17:36
steel
17:37
header
17:37
style.
17:37
I
17:38
wear
17:38
a
17:38
regular
17:39
ball
17:40
cap,
17:40
and
17:41
then
17:41
I
17:41
wear
17:42
stocking
17:43
cap
17:43
over
17:44
the
17:44
top
17:44
of
17:44
that.
17:46
So.
17:46
So
17:47
I've
17:47
kind
17:47
of
17:47
got
17:47
that
17:47
coverage
17:48
from
17:48
the
17:48
sun.
17:49
And
17:50
then.
17:51
Yeah,
17:52
yeah.
17:52
It's
17:53
funny
17:53
you
17:53
say
17:53
that
17:53
because
17:53
I've
17:54
got
17:54
a
17:54
Sims
17:54
wind
17:55
stopper
17:55
stocking
17:55
cap
17:56
that,
17:56
like,
17:56
there's
17:56
no
17:57
way
17:57
I
17:57
would
17:57
part
17:57
with
17:57
that
17:57
thing.
17:59
Yeah,
17:59
exactly.
18:00
Yeah.
18:01
You
18:01
kind
18:01
of.
18:02
Again,
18:03
you
18:04
start
18:04
picking
18:04
out
18:04
gear
18:04
that
18:05
really
18:05
works
18:05
for
18:05
you.
18:06
I
18:06
mean,
18:07
I've
18:07
been.
18:07
I've
18:08
done
18:08
enough
18:09
mountaineering
18:09
and
18:10
climbing
18:10
out
18:11
west
18:11
and
18:11
stuff
18:11
like
18:12
that,
18:12
so
18:12
I've,
18:12
I've
18:12
got
18:13
a
18:13
lot
18:13
of
18:13
carryover
18:14
from
18:14
that.
18:15
I
18:16
really
18:16
like
18:16
fleece,
18:17
but
18:17
now
18:18
some
18:18
of
18:18
the
18:19
polar
18:21
puffy
18:22
type
18:22
stuff,
18:23
I
18:23
can't
18:24
think
18:25
of
18:25
the
18:25
name
18:25
of
18:26
what
18:26
a
18:26
lot
18:27
of
18:27
the
18:27
insulating
18:27
stuff,
18:28
it's
18:28
kind
18:28
of
18:28
like
18:28
a
18:28
down
18:29
jacket,
18:29
but
18:29
it's,
18:31
it's
18:31
that
18:31
polar
18:32
material.
18:33
That
18:33
stuff
18:34
is
18:34
amazing
18:35
right
18:35
now
18:36
and
18:37
it
18:37
doesn't,
18:38
it
18:38
doesn't
18:38
really
18:38
lose
18:39
its
18:39
value
18:39
if
18:40
it
18:40
gets
18:40
a
18:40
little
18:40
wet.
18:41
So
18:41
it's
18:41
kind,
18:42
it's
18:42
super
18:42
nice.
18:44
Many
18:44
of
18:44
the
18:44
manufacturers
18:45
are
18:46
using
18:46
that.
18:46
So.
18:47
And
18:47
it's
18:47
nice
18:47
and
18:48
lightweight
18:48
too,
18:49
where
18:49
like
18:50
fleece
18:50
can
18:50
be
18:50
kind
18:51
of
18:51
heavy.
18:52
Like
18:52
a
18:52
wool
18:52
sweater
18:53
is
18:53
pretty
18:53
heavy.
18:54
Again,
18:54
I
18:55
kind
18:55
of
18:55
like
18:55
the
18:55
older
18:56
school,
18:57
but
18:57
that's
18:57
just
18:57
kind
18:57
of
18:58
me.
18:58
There's
18:58
a
18:59
lot
18:59
of
18:59
good
19:00
fabrics
19:00
out
19:00
there.
19:03
The
19:04
other
19:04
thing
19:04
I
19:04
do,
19:04
I
19:05
will
19:05
keep
19:05
us
19:06
like
19:06
a
19:06
pair
19:06
of
19:07
mittens
19:07
with
19:07
me
19:08
or
19:08
some
19:08
heavier
19:09
gloves
19:09
just
19:10
so
19:10
if
19:10
my
19:11
hands
19:11
do
19:11
start
19:11
to
19:12
get
19:12
cold,
19:12
I
19:12
can
19:12
shove
19:13
those,
19:14
my
19:14
hands,
19:16
even
19:16
with
19:16
the
19:16
nitro
19:17
glove
19:17
on.
19:17
I'll
19:18
shove
19:18
them
19:18
into
19:19
my
19:20
gloves
19:20
or
19:21
mittens.
19:22
And
19:22
then
19:22
I'll
19:22
also
19:23
carry
19:23
some
19:24
hand
19:24
warmers,
19:25
usually
19:25
just
19:25
the
19:26
chemical
19:26
ones.
19:27
Super
19:28
easy
19:28
to
19:28
carry.
19:30
So
19:31
it
19:31
kind
19:31
of
19:31
works
19:31
out
19:31
that
19:32
way
19:33
because
19:33
once
19:33
your
19:34
hands
19:34
start
19:34
getting
19:35
cold
19:35
or
19:36
if
19:36
they
19:36
get
19:36
really
19:37
cold,
19:37
it's
19:37
really
19:38
hard
19:38
to
19:38
come
19:38
back
19:39
from
19:39
that.
19:40
So
19:41
you
19:41
really
19:41
have
19:41
to
19:42
know
19:42
what
19:42
your
19:43
limits
19:43
are.
19:43
And
19:43
we're
19:44
not
19:44
going
19:44
out
19:45
for
19:45
eight
19:46
hours.
19:46
It's
19:46
usually
19:47
at
19:47
the
19:48
most
19:48
maybe
19:49
a
19:49
four
19:50
hour
19:50
trip.
19:51
And
19:51
most
19:51
of
19:52
the
19:52
time
19:52
it's
19:52
actually
19:52
more
19:53
like
19:53
two.
19:55
So
19:55
kind
19:56
of
19:56
limited
19:56
that
19:57
way.
19:57
Yeah.
19:58
And
19:58
I've
19:58
got
19:58
those
19:59
Sims
19:59
steelheading
20:00
gloves
20:00
that
20:00
I
20:00
really
20:00
like
20:01
that
20:01
are
20:01
like
20:01
the
20:01
mittens
20:02
with
20:02
the.
20:02
You
20:02
peel
20:03
them
20:03
back
20:03
and
20:03
they
20:03
have
20:03
the
20:03
fingers.
20:04
Oh
20:04
yeah.
20:04
And
20:05
you
20:05
wear
20:05
the
20:05
nitrile
20:06
underneath
20:07
those.
20:07
And
20:08
you
20:08
know,
20:09
you
20:09
can
20:09
do
20:10
a
20:10
lot.
20:10
And
20:10
you
20:10
can
20:10
tuck
20:10
hand
20:11
warmers
20:11
in
20:11
the
20:11
tops
20:11
of
20:12
your
20:12
hands
20:12
in
20:12
that
20:12
and
20:12
it
20:13
works
20:13
pretty
20:13
well.
20:13
Oh
20:13
yeah,
20:15
Yeah.
20:15
I
20:15
mean,
20:16
again,
20:17
my
20:17
hands
20:17
tend
20:17
to
20:18
stay
20:18
fairly
20:19
good.
20:20
But
20:20
I
20:21
know
20:21
other
20:21
people
20:22
just
20:22
have
20:23
problems
20:23
with
20:23
their
20:24
hands.
20:24
That's
20:24
usually
20:25
the
20:26
deciding
20:26
factor.
20:27
Or
20:27
even
20:27
with
20:27
their
20:28
legs,
20:28
they
20:28
don't
20:28
have
20:29
the
20:29
best
20:29
circulation.
20:31
I
20:31
try
20:31
to
20:31
tell
20:32
people,
20:32
don't
20:33
be
20:33
afraid
20:33
to
20:33
put
20:34
some
20:34
calories
20:35
on
20:35
either.
20:36
That's
20:36
another
20:37
thing
20:37
coming
20:37
from
20:38
the
20:38
climbing
20:39
side
20:40
of
20:40
the
20:41
world.
20:42
You
20:43
know,
20:43
it
20:43
wouldn't
20:43
be
20:43
unheard
20:44
of
20:44
us
20:45
throwing
20:45
like
20:46
4
20:46
or
20:47
5,000
20:47
calories
20:48
down
20:49
at
20:49
a
20:49
time
20:50
because
20:51
you've
20:51
got
20:52
to
20:52
fuel
20:52
that
20:52
engine.
20:54
So
20:55
don't
20:55
be
20:55
afraid
20:55
to
20:56
have
20:56
those
20:56
pancakes
20:57
in
20:57
the
20:57
morning
20:57
with
20:58
some
20:58
syrup
20:58
and
20:59
butter.
21:00
So
21:00
you
21:00
want
21:00
to,
21:00
you
21:01
want
21:01
to
21:01
keep
21:01
yourself
21:02
fueled.
21:03
I
21:03
try
21:03
to
21:04
keep
21:04
myself
21:05
pretty
21:05
hydrated
21:06
as
21:06
well.
21:07
When
21:07
you're
21:07
dehydrated
21:09
it
21:10
will
21:10
definitely
21:11
affect
21:11
your
21:12
circulation.
21:14
So
21:15
I
21:15
try
21:15
to
21:15
stay
21:16
pretty
21:16
hydrated.
21:18
I
21:18
will
21:18
have
21:19
a
21:19
little
21:19
flask.
21:20
It's
21:20
always
21:21
kind
21:21
of
21:21
nice
21:21
again
21:23
don't
21:23
overdo
21:23
it
21:24
because
21:25
you
21:25
don't
21:25
want
21:25
to
21:25
stumble
21:26
or
21:26
anything
21:27
like
21:27
that.
21:27
But
21:27
just
21:28
little
21:28
things
21:28
like
21:28
that
21:29
kind
21:29
of
21:29
make
21:29
the
21:29
day
21:30
kind
21:30
of
21:30
fun
21:31
again.
21:31
We're,
21:32
we're
21:32
going
21:33
out
21:33
to
21:34
have
21:34
a
21:35
good
21:35
time,
21:35
be
21:35
out
21:36
in
21:36
nature,
21:37
try
21:37
to
21:37
catch
21:38
some
21:38
fish
21:39
and
21:40
you
21:40
know,
21:40
spend
21:40
some
21:41
time
21:41
with
21:41
friends
21:42
and
21:42
family
21:42
and
21:42
stuff.
21:43
So.
21:44
But
21:44
you
21:44
want
21:44
to
21:44
have
21:45
a
21:45
good
21:45
time
21:45
at
21:45
it.
21:46
So
21:46
be
21:47
smart
21:47
about
21:47
it.
21:48
I
21:48
mean
21:48
I
21:48
see
21:49
some
21:49
guys
21:49
that
21:50
they're
21:50
like
21:50
oh
21:51
I
21:51
threw
21:51
a
21:51
granola
21:52
bar
21:52
and
21:52
that
21:52
should
21:53
be,
21:53
that
21:53
should
21:53
cover
21:54
me.
21:54
I'm
21:54
like
21:54
oh
21:55
yeah,
21:55
you're
21:56
gonna
21:56
have
21:56
a
21:56
hard
21:56
day
21:57
especially
21:57
if
21:57
it's
21:57
windy
21:58
and
21:58
cold.
21:59
So
22:00
yeah,
22:01
absolutely.
22:01
And
22:02
so,
22:02
you
22:02
know,
22:02
I
22:02
think
22:02
we've
22:02
pretty
22:03
well
22:03
covered
22:03
the
22:03
kind
22:03
of
22:04
the
22:04
non
22:04
fishing
22:05
part
22:05
of
22:05
the
22:05
gear.
22:05
You
22:06
know
22:06
what's
22:06
your
22:06
preferred
22:07
like
22:07
rod,
22:08
reel
22:08
and
22:08
line
22:08
and
22:09
leader
22:09
set
22:09
up
22:09
for
22:09
winter
22:10
fishing.
22:11
So
22:12
preferred
22:13
rod,
22:14
reel.
22:14
I
22:15
usually
22:15
fish
22:16
really
22:16
lightweight
22:17
stuff
22:18
but
22:19
for
22:19
winter
22:19
time
22:20
I
22:20
kind
22:20
of
22:20
will
22:20
go
22:21
up.
22:21
I'll
22:22
either
22:22
a
22:23
4
22:23
or
22:23
a
22:23
5
22:24
weight
22:24
because
22:24
I'm
22:25
usually
22:25
throwing
22:26
slightly
22:26
heavier
22:27
nymphs.
22:28
As
22:29
far
22:29
as
22:29
real
22:29
goes,
22:30
it's,
22:30
it's
22:31
my
22:31
standard
22:32
go
22:32
to.
22:33
I
22:33
run
22:34
Orvis
22:35
H3s
22:36
or
22:36
H4s
22:37
now
22:38
and
22:39
reels
22:40
just
22:41
either
22:41
the
22:43
Helios
22:44
or
22:45
one
22:45
of
22:45
those
22:46
just
22:46
a
22:46
standard
22:47
reel
22:47
setup.
22:47
I
22:48
use
22:48
the
22:48
same
22:48
line
22:49
that
22:49
I
22:49
do
22:49
throughout
22:50
the
22:50
season
22:50
which
22:50
is
22:51
scientific.
22:52
Angler
22:52
creek
22:53
trout.
22:54
It
22:54
is
22:55
a
22:55
phenomenal
22:57
especially
22:57
for
22:57
the
22:58
short
22:58
game.
22:59
It
22:59
loads
23:00
the
23:00
rod
23:00
properly.
23:01
It's
23:01
really
23:01
nice.
23:04
Holds
23:04
up
23:04
to
23:04
the
23:05
weather
23:05
pretty
23:05
well
23:07
and
23:07
will
23:08
turn
23:08
over
23:08
just
23:08
about
23:09
everything.
23:09
Even
23:10
like
23:11
streamers
23:11
and
23:12
stuff
23:12
like
23:12
that.
23:13
As
23:13
far
23:13
as
23:14
leader
23:14
goes,
23:15
I'll
23:15
usually
23:16
run
23:17
like
23:18
a
23:18
7
23:18
foot
23:19
or
23:19
a
23:20
7
23:20
and
23:20
a
23:20
half
23:20
foot
23:21
3x,
23:22
maybe
23:22
a
23:23
4x.
23:24
Kind
23:24
of
23:24
depends.
23:25
Especially
23:25
now
23:26
we've
23:26
got
23:27
thinner
23:27
water
23:28
so
23:28
I
23:28
may
23:29
downsize
23:29
a
23:29
little
23:30
bit
23:32
using
23:33
that
23:34
shorter
23:34
leader.
23:34
Like
23:35
a
23:35
seven
23:35
and
23:35
a
23:35
half
23:36
footer.
23:36
I
23:36
can
23:36
always
23:37
add
23:37
on
23:37
some
23:37
tip
23:38
it
23:38
as
23:38
I
23:38
need
23:39
and
23:39
then
23:40
go
23:40
down
23:40
that
23:40
size.
23:41
So
23:41
if
23:41
it's
23:42
3x
23:42
I'll
23:43
drop
23:43
down
23:43
to
23:44
4
23:44
or
23:45
5x.
23:46
I
23:46
try
23:46
to
23:46
keep
23:46
it
23:47
fairly,
23:48
fairly
23:49
easy
23:49
and
23:49
that,
23:50
that's
23:50
really
23:51
kind
23:51
of
23:51
my
23:51
go
23:51
to
23:52
for
23:52
any
23:52
season.
23:53
But
23:56
in
23:56
the
23:56
wintertime,
23:57
I'll
23:57
usually
23:58
try
23:58
to
23:58
stick
23:58
to
23:59
that.
23:59
I
24:00
am
24:00
throwing
24:01
slightly
24:01
bigger
24:02
nymphs,
24:03
jigs,
24:04
stuff
24:05
like
24:05
that.
24:05
That
24:06
will
24:08
takes
24:08
a
24:08
little
24:08
bit
24:08
more
24:09
to
24:09
turn
24:09
over,
24:11
plus
24:11
the
24:11
indicator
24:12
in
24:12
that.
24:13
So
24:13
that's
24:13
kind
24:14
of
24:14
my
24:14
standard
24:15
setup.
24:15
Again,
24:16
I
24:16
adjust
24:16
as
24:17
need
24:17
be,
24:17
but
24:18
pretty
24:19
standard
24:20
like
24:20
that
24:21
and
24:21
then
24:21
that
24:22
throughout
24:22
the
24:22
season
24:23
so
24:23
I
24:23
don't
24:23
have
24:23
to
24:23
change
24:24
up
24:24
too
24:24
much.
24:25
Got
24:25
it.
24:26
And
24:26
I
24:26
would
24:26
imagine
24:26
that
24:27
I
24:27
haven't,
24:28
you
24:28
know,
24:29
seen
24:30
that
24:30
fly
24:30
line
24:30
from
24:31
essay
24:31
before.
24:31
I'm
24:31
assuming
24:32
it's
24:32
probably
24:32
a
24:32
really
24:33
aggressive
24:34
like
24:34
weight
24:35
forward
24:35
taper.
24:36
Yeah,
24:37
when
24:37
they
24:37
first
24:38
came
24:38
out
24:38
with
24:38
it,
24:38
it
24:39
used
24:39
to
24:39
be
24:39
called
24:39
the
24:40
sbt.
24:40
So
24:40
short
24:41
belly
24:41
taper.
24:42
And
24:43
then
24:43
they've
24:43
changed
24:44
it
24:44
to
24:44
creek
24:44
trout.
24:45
So
24:46
it
24:46
is,
24:46
I
24:47
believe
24:47
it
24:47
is
24:47
a
24:47
line
24:48
heavy.
24:49
So
24:50
three
24:51
weight
24:51
would
24:51
be
24:51
a
24:52
four
24:52
weight
24:52
and
24:53
so
24:53
on.
24:53
So
24:53
a
24:53
four
24:54
weight
24:54
is
24:54
actually
24:55
a
24:55
five
24:55
weight.
24:55
They've
24:56
concentrated
24:57
it
24:57
super
24:58
tight
24:58
to
24:59
the
24:59
front
24:59
of
24:59
the
25:00
head,
25:00
all
25:01
that
25:01
weight.
25:02
So
25:03
on
25:03
these
25:04
creeks
25:04
you're
25:04
not
25:05
casting
25:05
very
25:06
far.
25:07
A
25:07
25
25:08
foot
25:08
cast
25:09
is
25:10
far.
25:11
I
25:11
mean
25:11
there
25:12
are
25:12
some
25:12
areas
25:12
where
25:13
you
25:13
will
25:13
cast
25:14
farther,
25:14
but
25:14
most
25:15
of
25:15
the
25:15
time
25:15
you're
25:16
casting
25:17
maybe
25:19
as
25:20
short
25:20
as
25:20
10ft
25:21
or
25:22
less,
25:23
all
25:24
the
25:24
way
25:24
up
25:24
to
25:24
maybe
25:25
25ft
25:26
if
25:27
you
25:27
get
25:27
into
25:27
a
25:28
long
25:28
run
25:28
and
25:29
stuff
25:29
like
25:29
that.
25:30
But
25:30
it,
25:30
it's
25:31
a
25:31
great,
25:32
I
25:33
mean
25:33
that
25:33
really
25:34
was
25:34
a
25:34
game
25:34
changer.
25:35
So
25:35
it
25:35
helps
25:36
load
25:36
those
25:36
rods.
25:38
So
25:38
you're
25:38
kind
25:39
of
25:39
looking
25:39
for
25:39
that.
25:40
A
25:40
lot
25:40
of
25:41
times
25:41
the,
25:42
the
25:42
bellies
25:42
on
25:43
a
25:43
lot
25:43
of
25:43
these
25:44
lines
25:44
are
25:44
made,
25:45
you
25:45
know,
25:45
30ft
25:46
plus.
25:47
Well,
25:47
if
25:48
you're
25:48
not
25:48
even
25:48
casting
25:49
over
25:49
30ft,
25:50
you've
25:51
got
25:51
to
25:51
load
25:51
that
25:52
rod.
25:52
That's
25:52
why
25:52
so
25:53
many
25:53
people
25:54
started
25:54
overlining,
25:57
especially
25:57
here
25:58
in
25:58
the
25:58
driftless.
26:00
So
26:00
yeah,
26:01
I,
26:01
I
26:01
talked
26:01
to
26:02
sa.
26:02
Those
26:03
guys
26:03
over
26:03
there
26:03
are
26:03
awesome.
26:04
Eric,
26:06
he's
26:07
like,
26:07
you
26:07
gotta
26:07
try
26:08
this
26:08
line
26:08
out
26:08
there
26:09
in
26:09
the
26:09
driftless.
26:09
And
26:10
I'll
26:10
tell
26:10
it,
26:10
it
26:11
truly
26:11
was
26:11
one
26:12
of
26:12
those
26:12
like
26:13
the
26:14
holy
26:15
like
26:16
line
26:16
that
26:16
just
26:17
really
26:17
started
26:18
setting
26:18
it
26:19
off
26:19
for
26:19
me.
26:19
It
26:19
just,
26:20
it
26:20
makes
26:20
everything
26:21
a
26:21
little
26:21
bit
26:21
easier.
26:22
Some
26:22
people
26:23
like
26:23
other
26:23
lines
26:23
from
26:24
SA
26:25
but
26:25
this
26:25
for
26:26
my,
26:26
for
26:26
my
26:27
game,
26:27
it
26:27
works
26:27
really
26:28
well.
26:28
It's
26:28
nice
26:29
for
26:29
clients
26:29
too
26:30
because
26:30
they.
26:31
It's
26:31
sometimes
26:32
hard
26:32
for
26:32
them
26:32
to
26:33
load
26:33
the
26:33
line.
26:34
This
26:35
line
26:35
will
26:36
help
26:36
load
26:36
that
26:36
rod
26:37
a
26:37
little
26:37
better,
26:38
especially
26:38
the
26:38
smaller
26:39
rods,
26:39
you
26:39
know,
26:40
the
26:40
threes
26:40
and
26:40
the
26:40
fours
26:42
that
26:42
I'm
26:42
using
26:44
it.
26:44
It
26:45
helps
26:45
load
26:45
that
26:45
rod
26:46
properly.
26:47
Got
26:48
it.
26:48
And
26:48
you
26:48
know,
26:48
so
26:48
I
26:48
think
26:49
we've
26:49
covered
26:49
the
26:49
tackle
26:50
part
26:50
pretty
26:50
well.
26:51
Let's
26:51
talk
26:51
a
26:51
little
26:51
bit
26:51
about
26:52
your
26:52
preferred
26:52
flies.
26:54
So
26:54
preferred
26:55
Flies.
26:55
I
26:56
have
26:57
a
26:57
number
26:57
of
26:58
them.
26:58
I
26:59
kind
26:59
of
26:59
like
27:00
little
27:01
streamer
27:01
patterns,
27:02
kind
27:02
of
27:02
like
27:02
a
27:03
small
27:03
slump
27:03
buster.
27:05
I'll
27:05
actually
27:06
tie
27:06
a
27:06
slump
27:06
buster
27:07
with
27:07
pine
27:07
squirrel.
27:08
And
27:09
then
27:09
a
27:09
cone
27:09
head.
27:10
Works
27:11
super
27:11
awesome.
27:12
I
27:12
have
27:12
a
27:12
couple
27:13
other
27:13
little
27:13
patterns.
27:14
I
27:14
call
27:14
them
27:17
a
27:18
jiggy
27:18
nymph
27:19
streamer.
27:20
So
27:21
there's
27:21
on
27:22
slightly
27:23
bigger
27:24
jig
27:24
hooks,
27:26
tungsten
27:26
bead.
27:28
And
27:28
then
27:28
I'll
27:29
use
27:29
like
27:29
a
27:29
pine
27:30
squirrel.
27:30
I
27:31
love
27:31
pine
27:32
squirrel
27:32
for
27:34
kind
27:34
of
27:34
a
27:34
nymphy
27:35
type
27:36
pattern.
27:37
It
27:38
moves
27:38
really
27:38
well,
27:39
holds
27:39
up
27:39
really
27:39
well.
27:40
I
27:40
mean,
27:41
it's
27:41
like
27:41
a
27:41
rabbit
27:42
strip.
27:43
But
27:43
being
27:44
pine
27:44
squirrel,
27:44
it's
27:45
got
27:45
that
27:45
shorter
27:45
hair,
27:47
comes
27:47
in
27:47
a
27:47
lot
27:47
of
27:48
awesome
27:48
colors.
27:49
And
27:49
then
27:50
adding
27:50
a
27:50
little
27:50
rubber
27:51
legs
27:51
to
27:52
it.
27:53
You
27:53
know,
27:53
beads.
27:54
You
27:54
can
27:54
get
27:54
beads
27:55
now
27:55
in
27:55
all
27:55
kinds
27:55
of
27:56
colors.
27:56
So
27:56
I
27:56
might
27:57
throw
27:58
like
27:58
an
27:58
orange
27:58
or
27:59
a
27:59
pink
27:59
bead
27:59
on
28:00
there
28:00
to
28:00
kind
28:00
of
28:01
add
28:02
a
28:02
little
28:02
flash
28:03
to
28:03
it.
28:03
Something
28:04
they
28:04
can
28:04
kind
28:04
of
28:04
target.
28:06
I've
28:07
got
28:07
a
28:07
couple
28:07
other,
28:08
like,
28:08
nymph
28:09
patterns
28:09
that
28:10
are
28:10
a
28:11
little
28:11
more
28:11
traditional
28:13
looking.
28:15
I.
28:15
I
28:15
do
28:16
like
28:16
a
28:16
jig
28:16
hook.
28:17
So
28:17
I'll
28:17
tie
28:18
these
28:18
smaller
28:18
nymphs
28:20
still
28:20
on
28:20
a
28:20
jig
28:20
hook
28:21
still,
28:22
usually
28:22
with
28:23
a
28:23
tungsten
28:24
bead.
28:25
But
28:25
then
28:25
I'll
28:26
add
28:26
like
28:26
a
28:27
kind
28:27
of
28:28
a
28:28
hot
28:28
spot
28:29
with
28:29
a
28:30
little
28:31
bit
28:31
of
28:31
dubbing
28:32
or
28:32
just.
28:33
I
28:33
usually
28:34
use
28:34
like
28:34
a
28:35
fluorescent
28:36
red
28:36
thread
28:36
or
28:37
orange
28:37
thread,
28:38
sometimes
28:39
chartreuse.
28:42
Just
28:42
something
28:43
that'll
28:43
make
28:43
it
28:43
pop
28:44
just
28:44
a
28:44
little
28:44
bit.
28:45
Most
28:45
of
28:45
the
28:45
time
28:45
those
28:46
fish
28:46
can
28:47
see
28:47
those
28:47
flies.
28:48
They're
28:48
really
28:48
good
28:49
at
28:49
seed.
28:49
But
28:50
I
28:50
think
28:51
you
28:51
got
28:51
to
28:51
get
28:51
those
28:51
flies
28:52
down
28:52
pretty
28:53
well.
28:53
That's
28:53
where
28:53
the
28:54
tungsten
28:54
really
28:55
works.
28:56
Bigger
28:56
cones,
28:57
etc.
28:58
So
28:58
you're
28:59
getting
28:59
it
28:59
down
29:00
into
29:00
their
29:00
zone
29:01
again.
29:02
These
29:02
fish
29:02
are
29:03
in
29:03
colder
29:03
water,
29:04
a
29:04
little
29:05
more
29:05
lethargic.
29:08
Oh,
29:08
I'm
29:09
sure,
29:09
you
29:09
know,
29:10
so
29:11
mostly
29:12
nymphs.
29:13
And
29:13
then
29:13
I
29:14
will
29:14
run
29:15
some,
29:16
oh,
29:16
bigger
29:17
streamers.
29:17
I
29:18
actually
29:19
like
29:19
that.
29:19
Baby
29:20
goonga
29:21
would
29:21
definitely
29:22
be
29:22
on
29:22
the
29:23
list
29:23
for.
29:24
For
29:24
a
29:24
fly
29:24
to
29:25
use.
29:26
There's
29:27
another
29:27
one
29:27
called
29:28
Sculptzilla.
29:29
Great
29:29
little
29:30
articulated
29:30
fly.
29:31
Gets
29:31
down
29:31
really
29:32
deep,
29:32
little
29:33
bit
29:33
bigger.
29:35
So,
29:36
yeah,
29:36
kind
29:36
of
29:36
that
29:37
streamer
29:38
pattern,
29:39
I
29:39
don't
29:39
know.
29:39
I
29:40
don't
29:40
get
29:40
too
29:41
hung
29:41
up
29:41
on
29:41
a
29:42
ton
29:42
of
29:42
different
29:43
things.
29:43
I
29:43
think
29:44
a
29:44
lot
29:44
of
29:44
times
29:44
it's.
29:45
It's
29:45
fly
29:46
placement
29:46
over
29:47
exact
29:48
fly
29:48
to
29:49
use.
29:49
But
29:51
you
29:51
know,
29:51
the
29:51
typical
29:52
colors,
29:53
olive,
29:55
natural,
29:57
a
29:57
little
29:57
bit
29:57
of
29:58
white
29:58
or
29:58
gray.
30:01
I
30:01
like
30:01
to
30:01
add
30:02
a
30:02
little
30:02
chartreuse
30:03
to
30:03
a
30:03
few
30:03
of
30:03
them,
30:04
a
30:04
little
30:04
paint
30:04
to
30:05
some
30:05
of
30:05
them.
30:06
Obviously.
30:07
Another
30:07
one
30:08
that
30:08
comes
30:09
to
30:09
mind,
30:09
speaking
30:09
of
30:09
pink,
30:10
is
30:10
the
30:10
pink
30:10
squirrel.
30:11
It's
30:12
A
30:13
very
30:13
well
30:13
known
30:14
fly
30:14
here
30:14
in
30:14
the
30:14
Driftless
30:15
on
30:15
the
30:15
Wisconsin
30:16
side
30:16
and
30:16
it's
30:17
been
30:17
used
30:17
all
30:17
over.
30:18
Great
30:19
little
30:19
pattern.
30:20
John
30:21
Bethke
30:22
made
30:22
this
30:23
fly
30:23
and
30:23
it,
30:23
it's
30:24
super
30:24
awesome.
30:25
I
30:26
kind
30:26
of
30:26
tie
30:26
it
30:26
in
30:27
a
30:27
tungsten
30:27
bead
30:28
as
30:28
well,
30:28
which
30:28
is
30:29
kind
30:29
of
30:29
cool.
30:30
So.
30:32
Yeah.
30:32
And
30:32
to
30:32
kind
30:32
of
30:33
help
30:33
people.
30:33
It's
30:33
kind
30:33
of
30:34
funny,
30:34
right.
30:34
Because
30:34
small
30:35
streamer
30:35
means
30:36
different
30:36
things
30:36
to
30:36
different
30:37
folks.
30:39
So.
30:39
Right.
30:39
I
30:40
should,
30:40
I
30:40
should
30:41
caveat
30:41
that.
30:42
Yeah.
30:42
A
30:42
small
30:43
streamer,
30:43
we're
30:43
talking
30:44
nothing
30:44
more
30:45
than
30:45
a,
30:46
Nothing
30:47
bigger
30:47
than
30:47
2
30:48
inches.
30:48
I
30:49
know
30:49
some
30:49
guys
30:49
will
30:50
use
30:50
bigger.
30:51
I
30:51
know
30:52
in
30:52
some
30:52
areas,
30:53
you
30:53
know,
30:53
they're
30:54
using
30:54
3,
30:55
4,
30:55
5
30:56
inch
30:57
streamers.
30:57
They're
30:58
getting
30:58
fish
30:58
to
30:58
move
30:59
on
30:59
them.
31:00
But
31:00
overall
31:01
where
31:01
I'm
31:01
fishing,
31:02
these
31:02
streams
31:03
are
31:03
pretty
31:04
small.
31:05
If
31:05
I,
31:05
if
31:05
I
31:06
found
31:06
a
31:06
spot
31:06
that
31:07
was
31:07
open,
31:07
had
31:08
a
31:08
really
31:08
deep
31:09
pool.
31:09
Really?
31:14
Oh,
31:15
I'm
31:15
trying
31:15
to
31:15
think
31:15
here
31:16
like
31:16
a
31:16
bigger
31:17
spot
31:17
that
31:18
might
31:18
need
31:19
to
31:19
get
31:19
a
31:19
little
31:19
bit
31:20
deeper.
31:20
I
31:21
might
31:21
throw
31:21
something
31:22
on
31:23
a
31:23
little
31:23
bit
31:23
bigger
31:24
again.
31:25
That
31:25
baby
31:26
gonga
31:26
would
31:27
be
31:27
a
31:27
pattern
31:27
that
31:27
you
31:28
could
31:28
get
31:28
down
31:29
pretty
31:30
well.
31:31
That's
31:32
going
31:32
to
31:32
actually
31:33
get
31:33
noticed
31:34
pretty
31:34
quick.
31:36
In
31:36
the
31:37
real
31:37
cold
31:37
water
31:37
though.
31:38
They're
31:38
going
31:38
to,
31:40
to
31:40
me,
31:40
I
31:40
think
31:40
they
31:41
key
31:41
in
31:41
on
31:42
slightly
31:43
smaller
31:44
stuff
31:45
that
31:45
they
31:46
know
31:46
that
31:46
they
31:46
can
31:47
attack
31:48
and
31:48
get
31:49
because.
31:49
Because
31:49
they're
31:50
cold.
31:50
Everything's
31:51
cold.
31:52
That's
31:52
the
31:52
other
31:52
tactic.
31:53
Like
31:53
you
31:53
got
31:54
to
31:54
go
31:54
low
31:55
and
31:55
slow.
31:56
It's
31:56
not
31:57
a
31:57
speed
31:57
thing
31:59
with
31:59
the
32:00
water.
32:00
Temps
32:01
being
32:01
in
32:01
that
32:02
cold
32:02
range,
32:03
go
32:04
a
32:04
little
32:04
bit
32:04
slower
32:05
than
32:05
you
32:05
normally
32:06
would.
32:09
When
32:09
you
32:09
do
32:10
hit
32:10
daiso,
32:10
just
32:11
kind
32:11
of
32:12
keep
32:12
going
32:12
on
32:12
that
32:12
stuff.
32:13
You
32:13
can
32:13
kind
32:14
of
32:14
speed
32:14
stuff
32:14
up.
32:15
You
32:15
might
32:15
go
32:16
a
32:16
slightly
32:16
bigger
32:16
fly.
32:18
The
32:18
other
32:19
thing
32:19
I
32:19
keep
32:20
on
32:20
hand,
32:20
I
32:20
also
32:21
run
32:21
some
32:22
dries
32:23
now
32:23
and
32:23
again.
32:24
We
32:24
get
32:24
a
32:24
small
32:27
black
32:27
stone
32:28
fly
32:28
that
32:28
comes
32:28
off.
32:30
So
32:30
I
32:30
do
32:30
carry
32:31
some
32:31
like
32:32
kind
32:33
of
32:33
a
32:33
black
32:34
stone
32:34
fly
32:37
pattern
32:38
that's
32:38
kind
32:38
of
32:38
a
32:39
dry.
32:40
I
32:40
kind
32:40
of,
32:40
I
32:40
call
32:41
it
32:41
like
32:41
a
32:41
foam
32:42
stimulator.
32:44
And
32:45
it's
32:45
got
32:45
a
32:45
black
32:45
body
32:46
to
32:46
it,
32:46
nice
32:47
and
32:47
thin
32:47
profile.
32:49
It
32:49
works
32:49
great
32:50
during
32:50
the
32:50
summer
32:50
as
32:51
well
32:51
for
32:52
kind
32:52
of
32:53
a
32:53
hopper
32:54
or
32:54
a
32:54
cricket
32:55
pattern.
32:56
But
32:56
it
32:56
will
32:57
work
32:57
pretty
32:57
good
32:58
for
32:58
a.
32:59
When
33:00
those
33:00
Blackstone
33:01
flies
33:01
come
33:01
off
33:02
too.
33:02
So
33:03
don't
33:04
be
33:04
opposed
33:04
to
33:04
using
33:06
some
33:06
of
33:06
your
33:06
rigs
33:07
that
33:07
have
33:08
like
33:08
a
33:08
hopper
33:09
dropper
33:09
set
33:10
up
33:10
on
33:10
it.
33:11
They
33:11
still
33:12
know
33:12
what
33:12
stuff
33:12
landed
33:13
on
33:13
top
33:13
of
33:13
the
33:13
water.
33:14
And
33:14
moving
33:15
is.
33:15
They
33:16
haven't
33:16
completely
33:17
forgotten.
33:17
So
33:18
it
33:18
can,
33:19
can
33:19
be
33:20
handy.
33:20
Usually
33:21
it's
33:21
on
33:21
a
33:21
nicer
33:22
day.
33:22
It's
33:22
one
33:23
of
33:23
those
33:23
days
33:23
where
33:23
you
33:23
can
33:24
get
33:24
away
33:24
with
33:25
Just
33:25
wearing
33:25
like
33:25
a
33:26
hoodie
33:27
if
33:27
it's
33:27
warmer,
33:28
like
33:28
that
33:28
hoodie
33:29
and
33:29
hopper
33:30
dropper
33:31
setup
33:31
or
33:31
a,
33:32
or
33:33
doesn't
33:33
have
33:33
to
33:33
be
33:33
a
33:33
hopper.
33:34
You
33:34
know,
33:34
you
33:34
could
33:35
use
33:36
a
33:37
bigger
33:37
like
33:37
caddis
33:38
type
33:38
fly
33:39
or
33:39
something
33:39
like
33:39
that.
33:41
So.
33:42
Yeah,
33:42
and
33:42
so
33:43
it's
33:43
interesting.
33:43
So
33:43
on
33:44
the
33:44
nymph
33:44
side,
33:44
I
33:44
imagine
33:45
you're
33:45
probably
33:45
fishing
33:46
what,
33:46
like
33:46
16s
33:46
and
33:47
18s.
33:48
Yeah.
33:49
Right
33:49
in
33:49
that
33:49
zone.
33:50
They
33:50
tend
33:50
to
33:50
be
33:50
small,
33:51
although
33:53
with
33:53
those
33:53
jiggy
33:54
nymphs,
33:54
they're
33:55
probably
33:55
right
33:56
around
33:56
maybe
33:57
a
33:57
12.
33:58
So.
33:59
But
33:59
most
33:59
of
33:59
the
34:00
stuff
34:00
I'm
34:00
fishing
34:00
in
34:01
the
34:01
driftless
34:01
is
34:01
all
34:02
pretty
34:02
small,
34:02
so.
34:03
And
34:04
don't
34:04
be
34:04
afraid
34:04
to
34:05
tie
34:05
smaller
34:06
flies
34:06
on
34:07
bigger
34:07
hooks
34:08
because
34:08
you
34:08
get
34:08
that
34:09
better
34:09
hook
34:09
app.
34:09
But
34:10
yeah,
34:10
like
34:11
18
34:12
is
34:12
pretty
34:13
small
34:13
for
34:13
a
34:13
nymph,
34:14
so
34:15
I'd
34:15
say
34:16
16.
34:17
I
34:18
mean,
34:18
I've
34:18
used
34:18
18s
34:19
but
34:19
I
34:20
tend
34:20
to
34:20
just.
34:20
I'll
34:21
just
34:21
tie
34:21
smaller
34:22
on
34:22
a
34:22
16
34:24
because
34:25
I
34:25
want
34:25
that
34:25
hook
34:26
gap
34:26
there.
34:27
Yeah,
34:27
the
34:27
jig
34:27
hooks
34:28
are
34:28
nice
34:28
because
34:28
they've
34:29
got
34:29
a
34:29
really
34:29
big
34:30
hook
34:30
gap.
34:32
So
34:32
that's
34:33
why
34:33
I
34:33
kind
34:33
of
34:33
gravitate
34:34
towards
34:35
those
34:35
hooks
34:35
as
34:36
well.
34:36
I
34:36
like
34:36
that
34:37
bigger
34:37
hook
34:37
gap.
34:38
And
34:38
they're,
34:39
they
34:39
seem
34:39
to
34:39
always
34:40
be
34:40
super
34:40
sharp
34:41
right
34:41
out
34:41
of
34:41
the
34:42
package.
34:42
So.
34:44
Yeah,
34:44
the,
34:44
the
34:44
barbless
34:45
stuff
34:45
will
34:45
definitely
34:46
draw
34:46
blood
34:46
these
34:46
days,
34:47
for
34:47
sure.
34:49
Yeah.
34:50
Yeah.
34:51
And
34:51
so,
34:51
you
34:51
know,
34:52
I
34:52
think
34:52
we've
34:52
got
34:52
kind
34:52
of,
34:53
you
34:53
know,
34:53
how
34:53
not
34:53
to
34:53
freeze
34:54
to
34:54
death.
34:54
We,
34:55
we've
34:55
got
34:56
rod
34:56
reel
34:56
line
34:56
leader,
34:57
we've
34:57
got
34:57
fly
34:58
selection.
34:58
Tell
34:58
us
34:58
a
34:59
little
34:59
bit
34:59
about
34:59
kind
34:59
of
34:59
how
35:00
you
35:00
approach
35:00
and
35:00
break
35:01
down
35:01
the
35:01
water.
35:03
So
35:03
a
35:03
lot
35:03
of
35:03
times
35:04
I
35:04
will
35:04
scout
35:05
water
35:05
again.
35:06
Winter
35:06
time's
35:06
an
35:06
awesome
35:07
time
35:07
to
35:07
kind
35:08
of
35:08
scout
35:09
get
35:09
out
35:10
there.
35:10
I'm
35:11
looking
35:11
for
35:11
water
35:11
obviously
35:12
that
35:12
is
35:13
not
35:13
frozen.
35:15
That's
35:15
kind
35:15
of
35:15
a
35:16
key.
35:17
Something
35:17
that
35:18
doesn't
35:18
have
35:18
too
35:18
much
35:19
shelf
35:19
ice.
35:21
That's
35:22
more
35:22
of
35:22
a
35:22
safety
35:23
thing.
35:23
But
35:23
when
35:24
you
35:24
start
35:24
finding
35:25
water
35:25
that's
35:25
open
35:26
one,
35:26
it
35:26
usually
35:27
has
35:27
a
35:27
spring,
35:28
so
35:28
the
35:28
water's
35:28
coming
35:29
out
35:29
of
35:29
the
35:29
ground.
35:31
The
35:31
riffle
35:32
sections
35:32
usually
35:33
tend
35:33
to
35:33
be
35:33
open
35:34
because
35:34
that
35:34
water's
35:35
broken,
35:35
it's
35:36
moving
35:36
a
35:36
little
35:36
faster,
35:37
it
35:37
tends
35:38
to
35:38
stay
35:38
open
35:39
a
35:39
little
35:39
bit
35:39
more.
35:40
The
35:40
big
35:40
long
35:41
stretches,
35:43
you
35:43
know,
35:43
like
35:43
a
35:44
big
35:44
giant
35:44
pool,
35:45
will
35:45
tend
35:45
to
35:45
freeze
35:46
over
35:46
at
35:46
times.
35:47
Unless
35:47
there's
35:48
a
35:48
spring
35:48
coming
35:48
in
35:50
or
35:50
if,
35:50
obviously
35:51
if
35:51
the
35:51
water
35:52
is
35:52
a
35:52
little
35:52
bit
35:52
warmer,
35:53
say
35:53
you
35:53
get
35:54
several
35:54
sunny
35:55
days
35:55
and
35:56
the
35:56
temperature
35:57
starts
35:58
getting
35:59
above
35:59
that
35:59
freezing
36:00
point,
36:00
it'll
36:01
start
36:02
opening
36:03
up
36:03
those
36:03
areas.
36:04
So
36:04
I'm
36:05
looking
36:05
for
36:05
that.
36:06
I
36:06
usually
36:07
will
36:07
fish
36:09
downstream.
36:10
I
36:10
tend
36:11
to
36:11
like
36:11
to
36:11
swing
36:12
some
36:13
of
36:13
My
36:13
streamers
36:14
and
36:15
those
36:15
big
36:15
jiggy
36:15
nymphs.
36:17
And
36:17
I
36:17
tend
36:18
to
36:18
look
36:18
for
36:19
spots
36:20
where
36:20
the
36:20
riffles
36:21
kind
36:21
of
36:21
end
36:21
and
36:22
kind
36:22
of
36:22
go
36:22
into
36:22
a
36:23
pool
36:23
or
36:23
a
36:23
run
36:24
that's
36:24
got
36:24
a
36:24
little
36:25
extra
36:25
depth
36:26
and
36:27
try
36:27
to
36:27
swing
36:27
them
36:28
right
36:28
through
36:28
there.
36:28
So
36:29
kind
36:29
of
36:29
like
36:29
a,
36:31
you
36:31
know,
36:32
that's
36:32
where
36:32
I'm
36:32
looking
36:33
for
36:33
is,
36:33
is
36:34
say
36:34
like
36:34
a
36:35
nymph
36:35
got
36:35
dislodged
36:36
off
36:36
of
36:36
that
36:37
riffle
36:37
section
36:38
and
36:39
it
36:39
happened
36:39
to
36:39
dump
36:40
in
36:40
to
36:41
the
36:41
head
36:41
of
36:41
a
36:41
pool
36:42
or,
36:42
or
36:42
a
36:43
run.
36:43
That's
36:44
what
36:44
we're
36:44
looking
36:44
for.
36:45
Swinging
36:45
that
36:46
into
36:46
there
36:47
also
36:47
works
36:47
really
36:48
good
36:48
for
36:48
streamers.
36:49
You
36:50
know,
36:50
if
36:50
you've
36:50
got
36:50
a
36:51
small
36:51
bait
36:51
fish
36:52
type
36:52
streamer,
36:53
because
36:54
it,
36:54
it's
36:54
a
36:55
fish
36:55
that
36:55
kind
36:55
of
36:55
got
36:56
dislodged
36:56
that
36:57
was
36:57
maybe
36:57
farther
36:58
up
36:58
and
36:59
then
36:59
swings
37:00
through
37:00
there.
37:01
So
37:01
the
37:01
fish
37:01
will
37:01
kind
37:02
of
37:02
hang
37:02
out
37:03
underneath
37:03
there,
37:04
dart
37:05
in,
37:05
grab
37:06
that
37:06
fly.
37:08
I'll
37:09
also
37:09
look
37:09
for
37:09
deeper
37:10
pools
37:11
as
37:11
long
37:11
as
37:11
it's
37:11
open.
37:13
And
37:13
that's
37:13
where
37:14
I'm
37:14
gonna
37:15
start
37:15
maybe
37:16
dredging
37:16
a
37:17
little
37:17
bit
37:17
deeper.
37:18
So
37:18
I'm
37:18
casting
37:19
maybe
37:20
a
37:20
little
37:20
bit
37:20
more
37:23
45
37:24
degree
37:24
angle
37:24
or,
37:25
or
37:25
more
37:26
so
37:26
that
37:26
it
37:26
can
37:27
get
37:27
some
37:27
depth
37:28
down
37:28
there
37:28
and
37:29
be
37:29
able
37:29
to
37:30
swing
37:30
down
37:30
through
37:31
that
37:31
area
37:31
a
37:32
little
37:32
deeper
37:33
or
37:34
even
37:34
doing
37:35
that,
37:35
you
37:35
know,
37:36
upstream
37:37
fishing.
37:38
So
37:38
you're
37:39
getting
37:39
that
37:39
depth
37:40
nice
37:40
and
37:40
slow
37:42
and
37:42
getting
37:42
through
37:43
to
37:43
the
37:43
bottom.
37:44
And
37:45
then
37:45
obviously,
37:45
if
37:45
I'm
37:46
running
37:46
my
37:47
copper
37:48
dropper
37:48
style,
37:49
dry
37:50
dropper,
37:51
I'm
37:51
going
37:51
to
37:52
be
37:52
looking
37:52
for
37:52
areas
37:53
that
37:53
have
37:53
a
37:53
little
37:54
more
37:54
depth
37:54
but
37:55
not
37:55
too
37:55
deep.
37:56
Again,
37:56
that
37:57
kind
37:57
of
37:57
run
37:58
right
37:58
after
37:59
a
37:59
riffle
38:00
where
38:00
I
38:00
think
38:00
those
38:01
fish
38:01
might
38:01
be
38:02
lying
38:04
so
38:04
that
38:04
they
38:04
can
38:04
kind
38:05
of
38:05
attack
38:05
something
38:06
that
38:06
would
38:06
come
38:06
off
38:06
of
38:07
that
38:07
riffle
38:08
because
38:08
that's
38:08
usually
38:09
where
38:09
a
38:09
lot
38:09
of
38:10
the
38:12
small
38:13
little
38:13
nymphs
38:13
and
38:13
stuff
38:14
are
38:14
going
38:14
to
38:14
be.
38:15
Or
38:15
if
38:15
it
38:15
gets
38:16
warm
38:16
enough,
38:17
that's
38:17
where
38:19
say
38:19
these
38:19
stone
38:19
flies
38:20
will
38:20
kind
38:20
of
38:21
come
38:21
out
38:21
sun
38:22
themselves
38:22
and
38:23
then
38:23
if
38:23
they
38:23
happen
38:23
to
38:24
fall
38:24
in
38:24
there,
38:25
that's
38:26
what
38:26
they're
38:26
kind
38:26
of
38:26
looking
38:27
for.
38:28
So.
38:29
Yeah,
38:29
and
38:29
the
38:29
neat
38:30
thing
38:30
too
38:30
is
38:30
all
38:30
those
38:31
places
38:31
you
38:31
talked
38:31
about
38:32
are
38:32
all
38:32
the
38:32
places
38:32
in
38:32
the
38:33
summertime
38:33
where
38:33
the
38:33
water
38:34
is
38:34
going
38:34
to
38:34
be
38:34
cooler
38:34
because
38:34
that's
38:35
where
38:35
the
38:35
springs
38:35
are.
38:36
Exactly.
38:37
Yeah.
38:38
So
38:38
that's
38:39
the
38:39
other
38:39
kind
38:40
of
38:40
fun
38:40
thing
38:40
is
38:41
that,
38:42
you
38:42
know,
38:42
if
38:42
it's
38:43
really
38:43
cold
38:44
and
38:44
say
38:44
it's
38:45
too
38:45
cold
38:45
to
38:45
fish,
38:46
it's
38:46
actually
38:46
a
38:47
great
38:47
time
38:47
to
38:47
run
38:47
around
38:48
and
38:48
just
38:48
kind
38:48
of
38:49
look
38:49
at
38:49
water
38:50
because
38:50
you're
38:50
going
38:51
to
38:51
find
38:51
where
38:51
all
38:51
this,
38:53
those
38:54
little
38:55
warm
38:55
water
38:56
outlets
38:57
are.
38:57
But
38:57
the
38:57
weird
38:57
thing
38:58
is
38:58
in
38:58
the
38:58
Summer,
38:59
that's
38:59
the
38:59
cold
39:00
water,
39:01
because
39:01
that
39:01
water
39:02
kind
39:02
of
39:02
stays
39:03
consistent.
39:03
It's
39:04
coming
39:04
out
39:04
so
39:04
those
39:05
springs
39:05
popping
39:05
up.
39:06
So
39:06
it's
39:06
a
39:07
great
39:07
way
39:07
to
39:07
just
39:08
get
39:08
out
39:08
there,
39:09
find
39:09
some
39:09
cool
39:10
water
39:10
that
39:12
you
39:12
can
39:12
fish.
39:13
And
39:13
you
39:13
can
39:13
usually
39:14
fish
39:14
it
39:15
almost
39:15
all
39:16
season.
39:17
I
39:17
usually,
39:18
when
39:18
the
39:18
water
39:19
does
39:19
get
39:19
really
39:19
hot
39:20
during
39:20
the
39:21
summer,
39:22
those
39:22
fish
39:22
use
39:23
that
39:23
as
39:23
kind
39:23
of
39:23
a.
39:24
That's
39:25
their
39:25
only
39:25
reprieve.
39:26
So
39:26
I
39:26
do
39:26
try
39:26
to
39:26
stay
39:27
away
39:27
from
39:27
it
39:27
when
39:28
it's
39:28
really
39:28
hot.
39:29
But
39:30
it
39:30
is
39:30
a
39:30
great
39:30
way
39:31
to
39:31
find
39:31
where
39:32
those
39:32
springs
39:32
are.
39:33
Those
39:33
fish
39:33
will
39:33
gravitate
39:34
towards
39:34
there.
39:36
So.
39:37
But
39:37
yeah,
39:37
and
39:38
then,
39:38
yeah,
39:38
you're
39:39
kind
39:39
of
39:39
looking
39:39
for
39:40
spots
39:40
that
39:40
you
39:40
would
39:40
look
39:41
for
39:42
most
39:43
of
39:43
the
39:43
time.
39:44
I
39:44
will
39:45
tend
39:45
to
39:45
fish
39:45
a
39:46
little
39:46
bit
39:46
more
39:46
in
39:46
the
39:47
riffles
39:47
because
39:48
they
39:48
will
39:48
move
39:48
up
39:49
at
39:49
certain
39:49
times
39:50
because
39:50
the
39:50
bugs
39:50
get
39:51
a
39:51
little
39:51
more
39:51
active.
39:52
So
39:52
they'll
39:53
move
39:53
up
39:53
into
39:53
the
39:53
riffles.
39:54
So
39:54
you're
39:54
kind
39:54
of
39:54
hitting
39:55
little
39:55
pocket
39:56
water
39:56
sometimes.
39:57
So
39:58
that's.
39:58
That's
39:59
always
39:59
kind
39:59
of
39:59
fun
40:00
to,
40:01
to
40:02
kind
40:02
of
40:02
hit
40:03
that
40:03
a
40:03
little
40:03
bit,
40:05
you
40:05
know.
40:05
And
40:05
the
40:06
cool
40:06
thing
40:06
is
40:06
you
40:06
don't
40:07
have
40:07
to
40:07
have
40:07
an
40:07
indicator
40:08
all
40:08
the
40:08
time
40:08
for
40:09
that.
40:09
You
40:09
can
40:09
kind
40:10
of
40:10
just
40:10
do
40:10
it
40:10
by
40:10
feel
40:11
or
40:11
sight.
40:12
It's
40:12
not
40:13
really.
40:13
Not
40:14
super
40:14
deep
40:14
there.
40:17
So
40:17
yeah,
40:17
when
40:18
you,
40:18
when
40:18
you
40:18
do
40:18
find
40:19
them
40:19
though,
40:20
I
40:20
kind
40:20
of,
40:21
you
40:21
know,
40:21
that's
40:21
a
40:22
pattern
40:22
that
40:22
you'll
40:22
be
40:23
like,
40:23
okay,
40:24
at
40:24
this
40:24
temperature
40:25
at
40:25
this
40:25
time,
40:26
this
40:26
is
40:26
where
40:27
they
40:27
tend
40:27
to
40:27
be.
40:28
And
40:28
then
40:28
if
40:28
you
40:29
happen
40:29
to
40:29
hit
40:29
those
40:30
weather
40:30
windows
40:30
like
40:31
that,
40:31
that's
40:32
actually,
40:33
you
40:33
know,
40:33
you
40:34
can
40:35
pretty
40:35
much
40:37
go
40:38
to
40:38
any
40:38
stretch
40:39
of
40:39
water
40:40
and
40:40
if
40:40
it's
40:41
got
40:41
a
40:41
similar
40:41
temperature,
40:42
similar
40:43
layout,
40:44
riffles,
40:45
etc.
40:46
That's
40:47
just
40:47
like
40:47
an
40:47
awesome
40:48
time
40:48
to
40:49
hit
40:49
all
40:50
that.
40:50
So
40:51
you've
40:51
kind
40:51
of
40:51
patterned
40:52
them
40:54
so
40:54
that
40:55
later
40:55
on
40:55
you
40:55
can
40:56
hit
40:56
that
40:56
same
40:56
water.
40:57
And
40:57
that's
40:57
good
40:58
to
40:58
like
40:58
write
40:59
that
40:59
down
40:59
in
41:00
your
41:00
notebook
41:00
if
41:00
you're,
41:01
if
41:01
you
41:01
keep
41:01
notes
41:02
so
41:02
that
41:02
when
41:02
you
41:03
do,
41:03
you
41:04
know,
41:04
from
41:04
year
41:04
to
41:04
year,
41:05
you'll
41:05
start
41:05
seeing
41:06
that
41:06
they
41:06
pattern
41:07
very
41:07
similar
41:09
during
41:09
certain
41:10
times.
41:11
Yeah,
41:11
it's
41:11
funny
41:12
you
41:12
say
41:12
that.
41:12
So
41:12
like
41:13
around
41:13
here
41:13
I
41:13
use
41:14
trout
41:14
routes
41:15
to
41:15
drop
41:15
those
41:16
pins
41:16
and
41:16
drop
41:16
those
41:17
notes
41:18
because,
41:18
you
41:18
know,
41:20
I'm
41:20
not
41:20
like
41:20
you.
41:20
I'm
41:21
not
41:21
on
41:21
the
41:21
same
41:21
place
41:22
pieces
41:22
of
41:22
water
41:22
frequently
41:23
enough
41:24
to
41:24
be
41:24
able
41:24
to
41:24
like
41:25
commit
41:25
it
41:25
to
41:26
memory
41:26
with
41:27
a
41:27
notebook.
41:28
But
41:28
yeah,
41:29
I
41:29
mean,
41:29
it's
41:29
an
41:30
amazing
41:30
thing
41:30
to
41:30
kind
41:31
of
41:31
start
41:31
collecting
41:32
that
41:32
information
41:32
or,
41:33
you
41:33
know,
41:33
like
41:33
around
41:33
here,
41:34
you
41:35
know,
41:35
you
41:35
can
41:35
get
41:35
yourself
41:36
in
41:37
places
41:37
that
41:37
you
41:38
have
41:38
a
41:38
hard
41:38
time
41:38
getting
41:38
out
41:39
of.
41:39
So
41:39
that's
41:39
another
41:39
great
41:40
use
41:40
for
41:40
that
41:41
application
41:42
too.
41:43
You
41:44
know,
41:44
if
41:44
folks
41:44
want
41:44
to
41:45
get
41:45
more
41:45
information
41:46
about,
41:46
you
41:47
know,
41:47
access.
41:47
Because
41:47
I
41:48
know
41:48
you've
41:48
got
41:48
a
41:48
really
41:48
robust
41:49
access
41:49
program
41:50
in
41:50
the
41:50
Driftless
41:50
and,
41:51
you
41:51
know,
41:51
other
41:51
fishing
41:52
information.
41:52
Where
41:52
should
41:53
they
41:53
go?
41:54
So
41:55
there,
41:55
there
41:55
is
41:56
some
41:56
great.
41:57
You
41:57
just
41:57
mentioned
41:58
one,
41:58
the
41:58
trout
41:58
routes.
41:59
Trout
41:59
routes
41:59
have
42:00
really
42:02
done
42:03
well.
42:04
They're
42:05
set
42:05
up
42:05
and
42:05
I
42:05
actually
42:06
don't
42:07
run
42:07
it,
42:07
although
42:07
I
42:07
have
42:08
been
42:08
looking
42:08
at
42:08
it.
42:10
But
42:11
trout
42:11
routes
42:12
is
42:12
really
42:12
good.
42:12
It
42:12
kind
42:13
of
42:13
helps
42:13
you
42:13
kind
42:13
of
42:13
find
42:14
some
42:14
water
42:15
and
42:16
then
42:16
it
42:16
also
42:17
helps
42:17
you
42:17
find
42:17
where
42:18
you
42:18
can
42:18
park
42:18
and
42:19
access.
42:20
Our
42:20
access
42:21
here
42:21
in
42:21
Wisconsin,
42:23
throughout
42:23
Wisconsin
42:24
is
42:25
pretty
42:25
amazing.
42:26
There's
42:26
a
42:26
lot
42:26
of
42:26
maps
42:27
there.
42:27
You
42:27
can
42:27
actually
42:28
go
42:28
to
42:28
the
42:28
Wisconsin
42:29
DNR
42:30
site.
42:30
They
42:31
have
42:31
very
42:31
similar
42:32
maps
42:32
that
42:34
trout
42:34
routes
42:35
have,
42:35
but
42:35
it,
42:36
it
42:36
doesn't
42:36
cover
42:37
everything.
42:37
Some
42:38
of
42:38
counties
42:38
are
42:39
a
42:39
little
42:39
different
42:40
with
42:40
their
42:40
access
42:41
and
42:41
that
42:43
the
42:43
nice
42:43
thing
42:43
is
42:44
is
42:44
TU
42:44
has
42:45
been
42:45
really
42:45
active
42:46
in
42:46
trying
42:47
to
42:47
put
42:48
up
42:48
signage
42:49
for
42:49
a
42:49
lot
42:49
of
42:49
these
42:50
places
42:51
so
42:51
that
42:51
you
42:51
kind
42:52
of
42:52
know
42:52
where
42:52
these
42:53
access
42:53
points
42:53
are
42:54
as
42:54
well.
42:56
Because
42:56
not
42:57
everybody
42:57
is
42:59
like
43:00
computer
43:00
savvy.
43:02
So
43:02
it
43:02
is
43:02
kind
43:03
of
43:03
helpful
43:03
that
43:03
way.
43:04
I
43:04
encourage
43:05
people
43:05
to
43:05
get
43:05
a
43:06
guide.
43:06
Of
43:06
course,
43:08
guides
43:08
usually
43:09
know
43:09
where
43:09
all
43:09
the
43:10
great
43:10
access
43:10
is.
43:12
I'm
43:12
fishing
43:12
water
43:13
that
43:13
is
43:13
open
43:14
to
43:14
the
43:14
public.
43:15
So,
43:17
you
43:17
know,
43:17
getting
43:18
a
43:18
guide
43:18
that
43:18
can
43:19
kind
43:19
of
43:19
start
43:20
you
43:20
on
43:20
your
43:20
way
43:21
is,
43:22
is
43:22
great.
43:25
There's
43:25
also
43:26
maps.
43:26
If
43:26
you
43:27
get
43:27
the
43:27
paper
43:28
map,
43:28
like
43:28
when
43:28
you
43:28
get
43:29
your
43:29
license,
43:31
they're
43:32
usually
43:32
at
43:33
the
43:33
say
43:34
like
43:35
the
43:35
hardware
43:35
store
43:36
or
43:36
wherever
43:36
you
43:36
can
43:37
buy
43:37
like
43:37
a
43:38
license.
43:38
I
43:38
usually
43:39
get
43:39
mine
43:39
online,
43:40
but
43:40
I'll
43:41
hit
43:41
the
43:41
hardware
43:41
store
43:42
to
43:42
pick
43:42
up
43:42
some.
43:43
Some
43:43
maps.
43:44
So
43:44
every
43:44
year
43:45
they
43:46
come
43:46
out
43:46
with
43:46
the
43:48
trout
43:49
maps
43:50
for
43:50
that.
43:50
And
43:50
that's
43:51
actually
43:51
a
43:51
really
43:51
good
43:52
way
43:52
to
43:52
kind
43:52
of
43:53
find
43:53
some
43:53
water
43:53
as
43:54
well.
43:54
So
43:54
maps
43:55
kind
43:56
of
43:56
old
43:56
school
43:56
way
43:57
of
43:57
doing
43:57
it.
43:57
But
43:58
that
43:58
really
43:58
has
43:58
helped
43:59
me.
43:59
That's
44:00
kind
44:00
of
44:00
how
44:00
I
44:00
started
44:01
years
44:02
and
44:02
years
44:02
ago.
44:03
So.
44:04
Yeah,
44:04
yeah.
44:05
I've
44:05
got
44:05
all
44:05
the
44:05
gazetteers
44:06
for
44:06
where
44:06
I
44:06
fish.
44:07
Under
44:07
the
44:07
waterproof
44:08
mat
44:08
in
44:08
the
44:08
back
44:09
of
44:09
the
44:09
car.
44:10
Exactly.
44:11
Yeah.
44:11
Those
44:12
gazetteers
44:12
are
44:12
awesome.
44:13
Yeah.
44:14
And
44:14
so,
44:14
you
44:14
know,
44:15
for
44:15
folks
44:15
that
44:15
don't
44:15
know,
44:16
PJ's
44:16
Guide
44:16
Services
44:17
and
44:17
Orvis
44:18
endorsed
44:18
guide
44:18
service
44:19
and
44:19
you
44:19
guide
44:19
for
44:20
lots
44:20
of
44:20
other
44:20
stuff
44:21
other
44:21
than
44:21
trout.
44:21
You
44:22
want
44:22
to
44:22
kind
44:22
of
44:22
tell
44:22
folks
44:23
kind
44:23
of
44:23
what
44:23
you
44:23
offer.
44:25
Yeah.
44:25
So
44:26
we
44:26
are
44:26
an
44:26
Orvis
44:27
endorsed
44:29
guide
44:29
company.
44:32
We
44:33
offer
44:34
Walk
44:35
and
44:35
Wade
44:35
for
44:35
trout.
44:36
We
44:36
also
44:37
offer
44:37
trout
44:39
drift
44:40
trips
44:41
in
44:41
the
44:42
area.
44:42
We're
44:43
one
44:43
of
44:43
just
44:43
a
44:44
few
44:44
guide
44:44
services
44:45
that
44:45
allow
44:45
that.
44:46
And
44:47
then
44:47
we
44:47
also
44:47
do
44:48
smallmouth
44:49
pike
44:49
and
44:49
muskie
44:50
float
44:50
trips
44:51
on
44:51
some
44:52
of
44:52
the
44:52
larger
44:52
rivers
44:53
in
44:53
the
44:54
area.
44:54
Like
44:55
we'll
44:55
go
44:55
over
44:55
to
44:55
the
44:56
Wisconsin
44:57
and
44:58
other
44:58
bigger
44:59
rivers
44:59
like
44:59
that.
45:00
So
45:01
we
45:01
have
45:01
a
45:02
15
45:03
foot
45:04
stealth
45:04
graft
45:05
drift
45:06
boat
45:06
that
45:07
we're
45:07
running
45:07
and
45:07
then
45:07
we
45:08
also
45:08
run
45:08
a
45:08
stealth
45:09
craft
45:09
raft.
45:10
So.
45:13
And
45:13
then
45:13
obviously
45:14
Wacom
45:14
Wade.
45:15
We
45:15
do
45:15
some
45:15
trout
45:16
schools
45:16
in
45:16
the
45:17
springtime.
45:18
We're
45:19
also
45:19
starting
45:19
to
45:19
offer
45:20
now,
45:20
like
45:21
custom
45:22
trout
45:22
schools.
45:23
If
45:23
you
45:23
can
45:23
get
45:23
a
45:24
few
45:24
people
45:24
together,
45:25
you
45:26
can
45:26
come
45:27
here.
45:27
We
45:27
have
45:28
lodging
45:29
and
45:29
stuff
45:29
like
45:29
that
45:30
so
45:30
that
45:30
you
45:30
can
45:31
stay
45:31
here.
45:32
My
45:33
wife
45:33
helps
45:34
teach.
45:35
She's
45:35
a
45:35
certified
45:36
casting
45:36
instructor.
45:38
So
45:39
we're
45:40
able
45:40
to
45:40
offer
45:41
a
45:41
lot
45:41
of
45:42
plans
45:43
for
45:43
people.
45:43
If
45:44
you're
45:44
just
45:44
getting
45:44
started,
45:45
we
45:45
can
45:45
help
45:45
you.
45:46
If
45:46
you're
45:47
a
45:47
seasoned
45:47
angler,
45:48
we
45:48
can
45:49
help
45:49
you.
45:50
So
45:50
there's
45:51
a
45:51
lot
45:51
of
45:51
stuff
45:52
that,
45:54
you
45:54
know,
45:54
if
45:55
you,
45:55
even
45:55
if
45:55
you're
45:56
brand
45:56
new,
45:56
don't
45:57
have
45:57
all
45:57
the
45:57
gear,
45:58
we
45:59
can
45:59
handle
45:59
that.
46:00
We
46:01
obviously
46:01
carry
46:01
a
46:02
lot
46:02
of
46:02
Orvis
46:02
stuff.
46:04
The
46:04
only
46:04
thing
46:04
we
46:05
don't
46:05
do
46:05
are
46:05
waders,
46:06
so
46:08
too
46:09
many
46:09
sizes
46:10
for
46:10
that.
46:10
But
46:11
yeah,
46:12
we
46:12
can.
46:12
If
46:13
you
46:13
want
46:13
to
46:13
get
46:13
on
46:13
the
46:13
water,
46:14
we
46:14
can
46:14
do
46:14
custom
46:15
stuff.
46:15
If
46:16
you
46:16
have
46:16
a
46:17
somebody
46:18
that
46:18
is
46:18
maybe
46:19
not
46:20
into
46:20
angling,
46:21
the
46:21
cool
46:21
part
46:21
is
46:22
you
46:22
can
46:22
bring
46:22
them
46:22
here.
46:23
There's
46:23
awesome
46:24
stuff
46:24
to
46:24
do
46:24
in
46:25
town
46:25
and
46:25
around.
46:27
And
46:27
then
46:28
we
46:28
can
46:29
take
46:29
you
46:29
fishing
46:29
and
46:30
then
46:30
they
46:30
can
46:30
take
46:30
the
46:31
car
46:31
and
46:32
go
46:32
off
46:32
and
46:33
have
46:33
an
46:33
adventure
46:33
that
46:34
way.
46:34
So
46:35
a
46:35
lot
46:35
of
46:35
options.
46:37
Very
46:37
neat.
46:37
And
46:38
so
46:38
what's
46:38
a
46:38
day
46:38
on
46:38
the
46:38
water
46:39
with
46:39
PJ
46:39
like?
46:41
Oh,
46:41
so
46:42
we
46:42
usually.
46:43
Well,
46:43
wintertime
46:44
it's.
46:44
It's
46:45
usually
46:45
just
46:45
a
46:45
half
46:46
a
46:46
day.
46:46
So
46:46
four
46:47
hours,
46:48
we
46:48
get
46:49
out
46:49
to
46:49
the
46:49
water
46:50
and
46:50
then
46:50
do
46:51
four
46:51
hours
46:51
and
46:53
warm
46:53
up
46:53
and.
46:54
And
46:55
all
46:55
that.
46:55
If
46:56
we're
46:56
doing
46:56
a
46:56
full
46:57
day
46:57
trip,
46:59
say
46:59
in
46:59
the
46:59
summertime,
47:01
we
47:01
will
47:01
tend
47:02
to
47:02
get
47:02
out
47:02
early
47:03
and
47:03
then
47:04
we
47:04
will
47:05
hit
47:05
a
47:05
couple
47:05
of
47:05
different
47:06
stretches.
47:07
So
47:07
we'll
47:08
get
47:08
out
47:08
in
47:09
the
47:09
morning,
47:09
hit
47:09
one
47:10
area,
47:10
we'll
47:11
break
47:11
for
47:11
lunch,
47:13
then
47:13
we'll
47:13
go
47:13
hit
47:14
another
47:14
spot,
47:15
either
47:15
in
47:16
the
47:16
same
47:16
watershed
47:17
or
47:17
move
47:18
over
47:18
to
47:18
another
47:19
piece
47:20
of
47:20
water
47:21
and
47:21
hit
47:22
that.
47:23
If
47:23
we're
47:23
doing
47:24
a
47:24
float
47:24
trip,
47:25
we
47:25
will
47:26
be
47:26
heading
47:27
downstream
47:29
and
47:30
obviously
47:31
take
47:31
a
47:31
break
47:33
for
47:33
lunch.
47:34
I
47:35
sometimes
47:36
will
47:36
cook
47:37
on
47:37
the
47:37
boat
47:37
or
47:38
we'll
47:38
set
47:38
it
47:39
all
47:39
up.
47:39
The
47:39
boat's
47:40
really
47:40
comfortable
47:41
so
47:41
we
47:41
can
47:41
do
47:41
it
47:42
all
47:42
from
47:42
there.
47:43
So
47:44
we'll
47:44
get
47:44
about
47:44
eight
47:44
hours
47:46
plus,
47:46
depending
47:47
on
47:47
how
47:47
the
47:47
river's
47:48
fishing,
47:49
how
47:49
the
47:50
day's
47:50
going,
47:51
how
47:52
everybody's
47:52
holding
47:53
up.
47:54
Usually
47:55
most
47:55
people,
47:56
they
47:56
get
47:56
about
47:56
eight
47:56
hours
47:57
in
47:57
and
47:57
they're
47:57
pretty
47:58
done
47:58
with
47:58
fishing.
47:59
But
48:00
sometimes
48:00
I
48:00
can
48:01
go
48:01
a
48:01
little
48:01
bit
48:01
longer.
48:03
Just
48:03
kind
48:03
of
48:04
depends
48:04
on
48:04
the
48:04
day
48:05
and
48:05
how
48:05
everybody
48:06
is
48:06
feeling
48:07
in
48:07
that.
48:09
So
48:10
yeah.
48:10
And
48:10
then
48:10
like
48:11
for
48:11
schools
48:11
we
48:12
tend
48:12
to
48:12
do
48:12
those
48:13
like
48:13
two
48:13
day
48:13
schools.
48:15
We
48:15
do
48:16
breakfast
48:17
and
48:17
lunch
48:18
here
48:19
at
48:19
our
48:19
place
48:20
so
48:20
that
48:20
we
48:20
don't
48:21
have
48:21
to
48:21
like
48:21
herd
48:22
cats
48:22
to
48:22
a,
48:24
to
48:24
a
48:24
restaurant
48:25
and
48:25
do
48:25
all
48:26
that.
48:26
We've,
48:26
we've
48:27
got
48:27
you
48:27
here.
48:27
We're
48:28
gonna
48:28
start
48:28
talking
48:28
about
48:29
fishing
48:30
and
48:31
then
48:31
we
48:31
actually
48:31
do
48:32
get
48:32
out
48:32
on
48:32
the
48:32
water
48:34
and
48:34
try
48:35
to
48:35
do
48:35
as
48:35
much
48:36
on
48:36
the
48:36
water
48:37
as
48:37
we
48:38
can.
48:39
So.
48:39
And
48:39
that's
48:40
usually
48:40
two
48:40
days.
48:41
That's
48:41
about
48:42
most
48:42
people.
48:43
You
48:43
know,
48:44
that's
48:44
a
48:44
lot
48:44
of
48:45
information.
48:45
We'll
48:46
shove
48:46
five
48:47
years
48:47
of
48:47
information
48:48
down
48:48
you.
48:49
But
48:50
we
48:50
have,
48:52
you
48:52
know,
48:52
a
48:53
notebook
48:53
and
48:53
stuff
48:54
like
48:54
that
48:54
for
48:54
you
48:55
to
48:55
like
48:55
look
48:55
back
48:56
and
48:56
you
48:57
can
48:57
see
48:57
what
48:57
we
48:58
were
48:58
talking
48:58
about.
48:59
Remind
48:59
yourself
48:59
in
49:00
that.
49:00
So
49:00
yeah,
49:00
we
49:01
set
49:02
it
49:02
up
49:02
how
49:02
you
49:03
want
49:03
it
49:03
to
49:03
be
49:03
set
49:04
up.
49:04
I
49:04
do
49:05
a
49:05
lot
49:05
of
49:05
like
49:06
kids
49:07
trips
49:07
with
49:08
parents.
49:09
That's
49:09
always
49:09
kind
49:09
of
49:10
fun.
49:10
The
49:11
kids
49:11
have
49:11
a
49:11
great
49:12
time.
49:12
Usually
49:13
by
49:13
the
49:13
afternoon
49:14
they're
49:14
about
49:15
burnt
49:15
out.
49:16
So
49:16
they
49:16
like
49:16
to
49:16
pick
49:17
rocks
49:17
or
49:17
look
49:18
at
49:18
bugs
49:18
or
49:19
look
49:19
at
49:19
rocks
49:19
and
49:21
then
49:21
the
49:21
adults
49:22
can
49:22
fish
49:22
for
49:22
a
49:23
little
49:23
bit.
49:24
Yeah,
49:24
it
49:24
just
49:24
makes
49:24
for
49:25
a
49:25
great
49:25
day.
49:26
Very,
49:26
very
49:27
neat.
49:27
And
49:27
I
49:27
guess
49:27
at
49:27
this
49:28
point
49:28
we're
49:28
probably
49:29
about
49:29
halfway
49:30
through
49:30
show
49:30
season
49:31
and
49:31
I
49:31
was
49:32
wondering,
49:32
are
49:32
people
49:32
going
49:32
to
49:32
be
49:33
able
49:33
to
49:33
catch
49:33
up
49:33
with
49:33
you
49:34
somewhere
49:34
on
49:34
the
49:34
road,
49:35
you
49:35
know,
49:35
for
49:35
the
49:35
next.
49:35
I
49:36
don't
49:36
know.
49:36
We
49:36
got
49:36
probably
49:36
another
49:37
six
49:37
or
49:37
eight
49:37
weeks
49:37
of
49:38
this
49:38
left.
49:39
Yeah.
49:40
So
49:40
we're
49:40
doing
49:41
a
49:41
couple
49:41
of
49:41
shows.
49:42
We're
49:42
doing
49:42
the
49:42
Wisconsin
49:43
fishing
49:44
show
49:45
and
49:45
that's
49:46
coming
49:46
up.
49:46
That's
49:46
February
49:47
21st
49:48
to
49:48
the
49:48
23rd.
49:50
We'll
49:50
be
49:51
there.
49:51
We've
49:51
got
49:51
a
49:51
booth
49:52
there.
49:53
We're
49:53
in
49:53
the
49:54
hallway.
49:54
So
49:55
come
49:55
on
49:55
down.
49:57
We'll
49:57
actually
49:58
have
49:58
a
49:58
raft
49:59
there
49:59
in
49:59
our
50:00
booth.
50:00
And
50:01
then
50:02
my
50:02
wife
50:02
is
50:02
actually
50:03
giving
50:03
a
50:03
presentation
50:04
for
50:05
beginner
50:05
fly
50:06
fishing
50:07
at
50:07
that
50:08
show.
50:09
And
50:09
then
50:09
we're
50:10
also
50:10
going
50:10
to
50:10
be
50:10
at
50:10
Great
50:11
Waters.
50:12
My
50:13
wife
50:13
will
50:13
be
50:13
teaching
50:14
casting
50:15
there
50:16
and
50:17
then
50:18
I'll
50:18
be
50:18
at
50:19
the
50:19
tires
50:19
rows.
50:20
And
50:21
that's
50:21
going
50:21
to
50:21
be
50:22
March
50:23
21st
50:24
to
50:24
the
50:25
23rd.
50:27
So
50:27
that's,
50:28
that's
50:28
also
50:28
coming
50:29
up.
50:29
That's
50:29
a
50:29
great
50:30
show.
50:30
Then
50:30
that's
50:31
in
50:32
Great
50:33
Waters
50:33
is
50:33
going
50:34
to
50:34
be
50:34
in
50:34
Minnesota
50:35
right
50:36
there
50:36
in
50:36
the
50:36
Twin
50:37
Cities.
50:38
So
50:38
fun
50:38
little
50:39
show,
50:40
that
50:40
Wisconsin
50:41
fishing
50:42
show.
50:42
That's
50:42
going
50:42
to
50:42
be
50:43
in
50:43
Madison.
50:45
And
50:45
then
50:45
I'm
50:46
probably
50:46
going
50:46
to
50:46
try
50:46
to
50:47
do
50:47
a
50:47
couple
50:47
other
50:47
shows
50:48
more
50:48
of
50:49
just
50:49
kind
50:49
of
50:50
helping
50:50
out
50:51
Stealthcraft
50:51
where
50:52
I
50:52
can
50:52
again
50:53
if
50:53
it
50:53
all,
50:54
it's
50:54
all
50:54
weather
50:55
dependent
50:57
but
50:57
yeah,
50:58
those
50:58
are
50:58
the
50:58
two
50:59
shows
50:59
we're
50:59
really
50:59
going
51:00
to
51:00
be
51:00
doing.
51:01
Got
51:01
it.
51:01
And
51:01
I'll
51:02
drop
51:02
links
51:02
to
51:02
those
51:03
in
51:03
the
51:03
show
51:03
notes.
51:03
And
51:04
you
51:04
know
51:04
pj,
51:04
before
51:05
I
51:05
let
51:05
you
51:05
go
51:05
tonight,
51:05
is
51:05
there
51:06
anything
51:06
else
51:06
you'd
51:06
like
51:06
to
51:07
share
51:07
with
51:07
our
51:07
listeners?
51:09
Oh,
51:09
well,
51:10
we
51:11
were
51:11
just
51:11
looking
51:11
back
51:12
on
51:12
some
51:12
stuff.
51:12
This
51:13
is
51:13
actually
51:13
going
51:13
to
51:13
be
51:14
my
51:14
15th
51:15
year
51:15
of
51:15
guiding,
51:16
so
51:17
that's
51:17
kind
51:17
of
51:18
a
51:18
special
51:18
thing.
51:20
So
51:21
yeah,
51:21
that's
51:22
long
51:22
time.
51:23
We've
51:23
been
51:24
fly
51:24
fishing
51:25
here
51:25
in
51:25
this
51:25
area
51:26
for
51:26
over
51:27
30
51:27
plus
51:28
years.
51:28
So
51:30
yeah,
51:30
it's
51:31
kind
51:31
of
51:31
a
51:32
big
51:32
year
51:32
for
51:33
us.
51:33
We're
51:33
looking
51:34
forward
51:34
to
51:34
getting
51:35
out
51:35
on
51:35
the
51:35
water.
51:36
My
51:37
wife
51:37
is
51:37
definitely
51:38
going
51:38
to
51:38
be
51:38
spending
51:39
more
51:39
time
51:40
so
51:40
we'll
51:40
be
51:40
able
51:41
to
51:41
do
51:41
a
51:41
lot
51:41
more
51:43
say
51:43
like
51:44
trout
51:44
schools
51:45
and
51:46
casting
51:48
instruction
51:49
if
51:49
need
51:49
be.
51:50
That's
51:50
what
51:50
she
51:51
loves
51:51
doing.
51:52
So
51:52
that's,
51:53
it's
51:53
definitely
51:54
going
51:54
to
51:54
be
51:54
a
51:54
lot
51:55
more,
51:55
lot
51:56
more
51:56
offered
51:56
for
51:57
that
51:57
part
51:57
of
51:57
it.
51:59
We
51:59
are
51:59
more
52:00
than
52:00
happy
52:00
to
52:00
take
52:01
people
52:01
that
52:01
are
52:01
really
52:02
new
52:02
to
52:02
it.
52:04
We
52:04
have
52:04
been
52:05
doing
52:06
this
52:06
for
52:07
so
52:07
long
52:07
and
52:07
teaching.
52:09
There's
52:10
not
52:10
too
52:10
much
52:11
that
52:11
we
52:11
can't
52:12
help
52:12
you
52:13
get
52:13
into
52:13
fly
52:14
fishing.
52:15
So
52:15
super
52:16
fun
52:16
time.
52:17
Yeah,
52:17
very,
52:17
very
52:18
neat.
52:18
And
52:18
so
52:18
if
52:18
folks
52:19
want
52:19
to
52:19
learn
52:19
more
52:19
about
52:19
PJ's
52:20
guide
52:20
service
52:21
or
52:21
follow
52:21
your
52:21
adventures
52:22
on
52:22
the
52:22
water,
52:22
where
52:23
should
52:23
they
52:23
go?
52:24
So
52:25
our
52:25
webpage
52:26
is
52:27
pj
52:28
guideservice.com
52:32
and
52:32
then
52:32
my
52:33
email
52:33
is
52:34
pj
52:35
guidesmail.com
52:37
you
52:37
can
52:38
also
52:38
find
52:38
us
52:39
on
52:39
the
52:39
Orvis
52:40
website
52:41
under
52:41
guides.
52:42
It's
52:42
under
52:43
PJ's
52:43
guide
52:43
service.
52:45
I'm
52:46
also
52:46
on
52:47
social
52:48
media.
52:49
I
52:50
believe
52:50
it's
52:50
PJ
52:51
Smith.
52:52
And
52:53
then
52:54
I
52:54
might
52:54
be
52:55
under
52:55
PJ's
52:55
guide
52:56
service
52:56
too.
52:57
I
52:58
don't
52:58
always,
52:59
that's
52:59
always
53:00
a
53:00
weird
53:00
one
53:01
because
53:01
I've
53:01
got
53:02
a
53:02
couple
53:02
of
53:02
pages.
53:03
But
53:04
yeah,
53:05
just
53:05
look
53:05
me
53:05
up.
53:08
I
53:08
usually
53:08
have
53:09
my,
53:11
yeah,
53:12
Instagram,
53:13
Facebook.
53:14
That's
53:14
where
53:14
I'm
53:14
at.
53:16
Yeah,
53:16
got
53:16
it.
53:17
And
53:17
I'll
53:17
drop
53:17
links
53:17
to
53:17
all
53:18
that
53:18
stuff
53:18
in
53:18
the
53:18
show
53:18
notes
53:19
for
53:19
you.
53:19
And
53:19
pj,
53:19
I
53:19
really
53:20
appreciate
53:20
you
53:20
coming
53:20
back
53:21
on
53:21
the
53:21
podcast.
53:22
Oh
53:23
absolutely.
53:23
I
53:23
appreciate
53:24
being
53:25
able
53:25
to
53:25
do
53:25
this.
53:26
It's
53:26
super
53:26
fun.
53:28
Just
53:28
kind
53:28
of
53:29
spreading
53:29
the
53:29
word
53:29
of
53:30
fly
53:30
fishing
53:30
because
53:31
it,
53:31
you
53:32
know,
53:32
I
53:32
love
53:32
it
53:32
enough.
53:33
I
53:33
actually,
53:34
you
53:34
know,
53:35
that's
53:35
why
53:35
I
53:35
do
53:35
it.
53:35
I
53:36
love
53:36
helping
53:37
people
53:37
get
53:37
on
53:38
to
53:38
fish
53:38
or
53:38
just
53:39
learning
53:39
about
53:39
this
53:40
great
53:40
sport.
53:41
Yeah,
53:41
come
53:41
back
53:42
anytime.
53:42
Take
53:43
care.
53:43
Well,
53:44
I
53:44
appreciate
53:44
it.
53:44
Thank
53:45
you
53:45
so
53:45
much.
53:47
Well
53:47
folks,
53:48
we
53:48
hope
53:48
you
53:48
enjoyed
53:49
the
53:49
interview
53:49
as
53:49
much
53:49
as
53:49
we
53:50
enjoyed
53:50
bringing
53:50
it
53:50
to
53:50
you.
53:51
If
53:51
the
53:51

53:52

53:52
show
53:52
is
53:52
